ok but with the series that *wasn’t* the one that I was looking for, I do think it’s really funny that. well ok first of all mc finds out that li was playing his stupid games and dumps him like this (after whacking him with a bag a few times)

there’s this one random side character that hangs out at a bar which isn’t a gay bar but gay guys just hang out there. li goes there too. and at one point before the breakup, the guy chats up li and goes like ‘heeyyy you with anyone ;)’ and the li says something about how he can’t get serious with men and leaves. and after the breakup this happens

then the side character throws him out of the bar, onto a pile of trash and everything. it’s so funny. also deserved. get outta here with that bullshit. later li goes back to apologize and gets unbanned from the shop. oh also this part was funny

I gotta say, when it comes to ships in TGaMM - Pete and Sharon, the Jeoffs, Mollie - I do really like that they all have similar dynamics, if only because it’s a dynamic that’s really cute.

In all three ships, there are a lot of similarities between the characters, but you also get subtle differences (like Jeff/Sharon/Ollie are usually the ‘straight men’ in their dynamics while their partners tend to be a bit more emotional/dramatic). All three couples also have plenty of scenes where they show plenty of support and love to each other, and idk it’s just soooo cute to me
