Our coffee grinder broke and I am desperate enough to dig through my wife’s giant tea box for some black tea and ITS JUST NOT THE SAME.

I don’t want to go out and buy pre-ground coffee because we just bought a giant bag of beans and I can’t just purchase a new grinder because the one I want is silly expensive and also because it’s only on pre-order.

I wanted to switch my coffee setup anyways (upgrade the grinder and trash the coffee machine) to a simple grinder/electric kettle/pour-over setup. But I wasn’t ready yet 😭

And that’s my week so far. In other news, the kitchen countertop is coming next week and I can then FINALLY post some before and after photos for the 1.3 people who are interested haha!

Yeah, there’s so much vitriol there. Not saying there isn’t here, but I just had this lovely interaction (calling me a racist and all for disagreeing with their take) the other day, and learned a few things about some mutuals in the process and I‘m … done.

So yeah. Staying off of twitter for the most part.

At least here we have a chronological dashboard that I can filter, and not Elon putting her tweets on my timeline. And then suggesting I follow her. 🙄

I'm not built for twitter actually. It's exhausting how many people you need to block to have a normal argument free experience there. Drama all day every day.

phew, the weekend was an emotional rollercoaster, as max said himself! i‘m happy i did end up tuning in for the race though!! also—lestappen content everywhere, we really were fed so good 😋

also, you see, lestappen lestappening and my faves doing well heals. flu and cold gone, seasonal depression gone, the sun is shining, the air is crisp, the colorful leaves are rustling their dance down the concrete streets—life is good.🥰🧚‍♂️

If anyone is asking themselves where the new chapter for „You know I won‘t let you get away“ is at: It‘s taking me a bit. Sorry.

Had a faulty (luckily unnecessary) organ removed at the hospital last week and am still recovering. The writing is coming along, but it is doing so veeeery slowly.

I did a bit of writing for a later chapter of the fic before hospital because I was depressed and we all know where the fic is heading and I had to write part of the ending at some point to rip the band aid off. But uh…yeah. That‘s why I‘m so slow atm.

Apologies, bear with me please.
