I just realised smth while writing. Bobby feels like he's a horrible father because he killed his two kids, right?? So even if he does view Buck as a son, he'll probably never admit that, because he probably doesn't think he deserves to be Buck's dad, and isn't that sad?

Buck who views Bobby as a way better father than his own dad ever was to him. Buck who looks up to Bobby and cares about Bobby and would probably have hundreds of things to say if he ever heard Bobby speak that way about himself.

Bobby who loves Buck so much that he would never allow himself to be Buck's dad because Buck deserves better, all Bobby brings is harm to people (I mean look at the truck bombing, that bomber had been after him, and Buck had been the one to get hurt. Bobby got out without a scratch. Just like the apartment fire).

Imagine them having a conversation where they finally, finally admit to each other that they are each other's father and son, and then Buck gets hurt on call or targeted by someone who wants to hurt Bobby ARGHHFJDK and so Bobby distances himself from Buck aaaa 😭😭

Guilt filled you as you thought about what the boys go through every night. They were torn apart and fixed every night and there was little you could do about it. If you tried to stop them, you might be killed to protect the companies’ investments. If you called the police, they may not care since the boys may not be considered living creatures. If you tried to out the candy company through social media and the like, it might make more trouble for Sun and Moon. Might get them locked away or worst. Like if the factory closed the tours and kept everyone but close workers inside.

“I wish I could do more for you guys. I can’t even sneak anything in for you cause they check everyone’s bags at the gate and stuff.” You frowned sadly. “They even check pockets.”

“Couldn’t you take medicine to keep you from being in pain at least? You know, during the…harvest?” You asked, cringing at the word harvest.

Moon shook his head as he kept drinking from the syrup tube. He tried to suck more, but the tube seemed to have run dry, making him look at it with a sigh. “No, it changes the taste of the candy. And the effects. One time, Freddy found some painkillers from one of the harvesters once, and all of the chocolate and jelly that was harvested the next day was considered tainted and defective.”

You blinked before looking at them. “Chocolate AND jelly?”

Sun rubbed his healing arms. “Didn’t you go through the tour? Many times?”

“Not going to lie, I kind of zoned out after seeing you guys. I was focusing on you guys since…you know, my job was to get the Sundrop and Moondrops.”

“Sorry, habit…But, how are you going to be paid? Don’t you have to be paid to live?” Sunny asked worriedly.

The fact that he was worried about you meant a lot. You had hoped they thought of you as someone they could trust. You may be a PI, but you wanted others to trust you to do right by people. “Don’t you worry about me, Sunny, I’ll be okay. Thank you though.” You smiled. “Tell me about the others though! Freddy is chocolate and jelly??”

“Ooh yeah! So He’s a chocolate covered Gummy bear, and Bonnie is a chocolate bunny.” Sun said cheerfully. “The company turns the candy they take off of them into mini versions of them. Them and Chica are a big hit around Easter.”

“Oh yeah, Chica is like an easter Peep right?”

“Uuuuh, you mean marshmallow and sugar right?”

“Yeah of course! Those are Easter Peeps. What about Foxy, I heard He was something weird...”

Sun made a somewhat disgusted face. “Oh yes! He has a candy shell like us, but instead of space inbetween his endo and shell, he’s stuffed with Peanuts! Bitter hard peanuts. His harvest is usually just a poke to break the shell and get all the peanuts to drain out.”

“Bet you envy him a little.” You smiled compassionately.

You snorted at the thought but tried to stifle your laugh. “I’m sorry, That must be painful, I shouldn’t laugh.” You giggled.

“It is actually kind of funny. He doesn’t seem to mind it too much. I think he might not have much feeling in his legs anymore or something cause half the time he doesn’t seem to notice.” Sunny giggled.

“It’s almost time to open.” Moon suddenly interjected. “You should get going.”

“Oh wow already?? Gosh time fly’s…okay, I’ll see you guys again in a couple days, okay?”

Can't sleep bc i'm jittery so i'm dropping more Foxglove ramblings. Anyway her most religious trait (asides from mommy issues) is that she genuinely dgaf about money and wealth. She values beauty/aesthetics and a good posture but she couldn't give less of a shit about the price of things + her one good action to the world is that she doesn't mind giving money away with not a single care in the world. And yes it's maybe because she lives in delulu land and believes she's divinely protected from ever running out of what she needs. This makes her extremely hard for Avery to control without violence though

JUST GOT BACK FROM THE FNAF MOVIE

SPOILERS AND SCREAMING UNDER THE CUT

FIRST OF ALL i just wanna take a second to say the absolute JOY and UNFILTERED SEROTONIN i felt when the living tombstone's fnaf 1 song started playing during the credits is a high i will ride for the rest of my life. let ALONE the fact that almost everyone in the theater immediately started singing along. everyone in that theater i love you.

second of all i cannot fucking believe scott had the fucking AUDACITY to JUMPSCARE us with BALLOON BOY of ALL fucking wretched little bitches. not once, not twice, THREE FUCKING TIMES.

i was so happy we got brief cameos from matpat AND coryxkenshin! i was so happy for cory especially. was really hoping for a dawko cameo too, but hopefully we'll get one next time!

i also wanna mention that i never would've guessed that we'd get a scene of the animatronics behaving like kids!!! it was SO cute to see them play with abby and be silly, i never knew i needed that so badly until now. i'm not joking, literally half of my theater went "awwwww..." when abby drew the heart and gave it to bonnie, and then bonnie turned to show it to the others 🥺 i wanna hug them all so badly now... they're so CUTE. they're my babies now if mike won't go back I WILL

i'm sure this makes me a terrible person, but one of the things i was hoping so desperately for was that we would get to WATCH WILLIAM DIE, and i am SO happy that they made it as brutal and painful as possible. the satisfaction i felt as the animatronics dragged a squirming, slowly dying william away to suffer and the kids getting their revenge was worth the 8 year wait. i also now understand why matthew lillard was like "can we even show this" LMAO that shit was brutal and i'm almost shocked they kept it in while keeping a pg-13 rating.

i love that they kept foxy singing to himself, and i KNEW the second that dude stepped into the closet bonnie would be there and i was ECSTATIC when he flipped on the light and i was right. predictable sure but who cares honestly, it was amazing!

i also can't believe sparky really WAS in parts and service. i'm so fucking done with you, scott. fucking sparky. at least i ASSUME that's who the dog character was, unless it was a reference to fetch, which would be way less cool.

will say i was fucking THROWN by vanessa being william's daughter. um scuse me? what about elizabeth? is she not canon to the movies? guess we'll find out lol. i was also really hoping we would've at least gotten a HINT of the puppet, but i guess the puppet being in the fnaf 1 location the whole time really wouldn't work in this scenario. seeing as she was supposed to be the only one truly aware, it definitely wouldn't have worked as well. hope we see her next time!

overall i give the movie a 9.5/10! my only complaint is i feel like there wasn't QUITE enough scary stuff. another ten or so minutes of horror would've done wonders, i think. this is a day one dvd buy for sure! can't wait to see what extra features the dvd will come with, and i hope it comes with commentary <3
