by now you understand that your real and only identity is consciousness / awareness / the observer / the source / imagination and everything is consciousness ("your" phone, "your" mother) which appear as separate and different forms even though its all the same thing, you. nothing is real and everything is imaginary. imagining something is the same as having it in the "physical world" bc there is no "physical world" bc there is no separation bc everything is just consciousness. nothing is real but things exist when you become aware of them (example: these words can never be real but they exist bc you are aware of it). this human body and thoughts/ego is not the real you, real identity. its not real its just appearing as something else. consciousness is the only reality so reality is everywhere bc consciousness is everything. desires arent real bc the moment you become aware of something, it exists instantly, youve experienced it instantly. "desires" are you. you dont create anything, you are everything. forms of consciousness just appear as separate but arent. even the 5 senses arent real and are limited to the power you are (consciousness). as the observer, you observe everything (in the unreal physical and in imagination).

the point of non dualism is to realize your true self (consciousness) and be free from suffering in this "life" that you think is real. remove and be free from all concepts and beliefs and the past. they are not real and never will be. once you understand non dualism, there is no suffering or pain or no issue. you cannot take things seriously bc you know none of this is real in the first place. personally, i think the point of "life" is to realize your true nature and enjoy life and peace with whatever ego desires. if ego desires being a rockstar or having piercings or getting free money, then thats what it is. the point is to experience whatever ego wants to experience.

all this is just a game.

you are the game character (human being), you are the game's plot, you are the producers of the game, the one playing the game, the game console, the game itself, everything. and this game is all imaginary.

Tkkers are the biggest jkkers there have ever been. They're the very embodiment of yelling "I'm not mad" while punching a hole in the wall. If their moments don't mean anything, why are you so mad? But they know that km's moments are significant which is why they desperately play down their relationship, call it fanservice, foist jm off onto other members (liking shipping ymn), anything to make it not real, because they know as well as we do, that if what km do is real and not scripted fanservice, then it blows apart their romeo&juliet fanfiction. For example, if its all real, then jk was drunk spinning jm and jm gave his best friend's "boyfriend" a hickey, and how would that make sense when tae and jm are still so close and loving on each other? If its real, then jk chose to spend the next 2 years with his "boyfreind's" best friend and not him, and how does that make sense?

The problem with tkkers is that they have built this perfectly insulated little belief system where they believe not in what they see, but in what they don't see, which is a nebulous relationship that supposedly exists only in private (I mean they literally brand tk the private couple). They don't even have to be based in reality or think critically because they've come up with convenient explanations for everything. If tk say something that goes against the tkker narrative, well that was the company forcing them. If they say or do something that supports it, well that was them being bold and fighting back. If interactions with another member don't threaten their ship, then that's fine and cute. If it does, well then that's just fanservice pushed by the company. They decide what is the "truth" based on if it already supports what they believe. I firmly believe there would be almost no tkkers today if they didn't stumble upon tkker accounts and become indoctrinated with the ideology because just watching content, seeing their actions, and listening to the boys talk (and believing them) would never lead you to thinking tk are romantically involved.

If its any consolation though, I do think way more army (not just km shippers) do acknowledge km's relationship being unique or sus at times, they just don't say it as much on tkker dominated spaces like twitter, where even using their duo name gets you branded a shipper and makes them mad. Like here on tubmlr, I've only checked the tk tag a handful of times out of curiosity, but the km posts and blogs seem to get waaay more engagement. Or even on reddit, I've see users make comments "like I hate shippers and I would never actually claim they're together, but km do make me questions sometimes LOL" while tkkers coming in hot with their crazy bullshit get shot down immediately there. Also this is anecdotal, but I wasn't involved in the fandom for a long period because of personal stuff (I still kept up with the member's solo projects though), and I was surprised at how much engagement km fan twt accounts get now or just how many big ones there are. At least from my memory a couple years ago, I don't remember km accounts (not just "shipping" stuff, but also accounts for km moments, etc.) getting as many likes and followers as they seem to have now, so I do wonder if the tides are turning (would make sense given recent events, rumors, etc. for tkkers to lessen imo).

that's really the entire crux of the problem, nonny. instead of regularly examining their own beliefs and assumptions based on information as it comes out, they simply figure out how they can fit the information into the belief. the ways they come to their conclusions are filled with so many fallacies that it's usually not even worth addressing because if someone is willing to twist themselves into that many knots over their beliefs then theyre not actually going to listen to logic.

and dont get me wrong, shippers of all kinds do this, but i have never seen it with such frequency and aggression as the tkk crowd. once i saw someone on tiktok claim that jk only ever mentions th on his lives. when they were told that jk does indeed talk about other members on live (they'd know if they watched og content instead of just socmed clips), the person actually refused to believe it. that's not only absurd, but it brings me to my whole conclusion about why tkkrs constantly write off and redefine moments from other pairings (and obviously especially jikook):

if tkkrs took in all the information without trying to fit it into a pre-established narrative, their ship would fall apart. even if we assume that every other pairing in bts is platonic only, tkk does not hold up. the things they do for each other, say about each other, the things others say about them, the amount of time they spend together and activities they do, the way they touch and cuddle and joke, none of it truly stands apart from the rest of their friendships. especially when we take vmn and jikook into consideration. so the only way to make romantic tkk make sense is by simply ignoring or rewriting reality.

they have to imagine that jk only cooks for th, only sings for th, only spends free time with th, only does this that and the other thing for th because if they acknowledge that jk doesn't do these things for th exclusively, what do they have? (also it's really fucking weird that their entire ship seems to hang in the balance on what jk does – they really are so threatened with how jk behaves with jm that they're constantly trying to redirect that attention from jk to th.)

as a jikooker, i am sure you have heard so many of us talk about exclusivity and consistency, and tkk just does not have that. 🤷‍♂️ i enjoy seeing tkk together and i enjoy their friendship but at the end of the day, that's all you can glean from their interactions unless you start making stuff up.

as for engagement from army in general on jikook, i do think that a lot of the time the lack of it comes from fear because fandom culture as a whole has become so volatile towards rps. but why is it that jikook comments are automatically seen as more shippy than ones about other pairings? that's what doesnt make sense unless everyone else is seeing what we're seeing. talking about the "sus" stuff between jikook forces people to acknowledge that it is actually sus and that makes them uncomfortable because nobody wants to be branded a shipper in our current fandom climate.

but yes, imo there has been a turn in tides for jikook within the fandom. i talked about it before that jikook began gaining popularity quickly in 2017 which was then solidified with gcft. i think that the 'jikook wave' so to speak probably won't ebb unless we actually see a shift in their dynamics or they start dating other people. i am really curious to see the state of the fandom and jikookers after military service tbh.

I said this in another ask but imo Pokemon design gets cooler and stronger with each passing generation, even if the games themselves weren't that good. LOVE Galar's designs for the most part, but good god Sword and Shield were not. good games. >__>

I'm eternally partial to RSE (Ruby was my first pkmn game, Hoenn's still one of my favorite regions, the Gen 3 era soundtrack is so nostalgic to me.) Gen 4 was a monumental generation for so many reasons, Platinum is a just a goddamn good game, and BDSP is a fucking embarassment lol. I love Gen 5's games, I've been wanting to replay Black sometime, I miss her. White 2 I think my be my favorite mainline Pokemon game of all time (though I have to be real, Violet is up there now too--warts (and bugs) and all, Scarvio was the most fun I've had in a mainline pokemon game in YEARS, and the story knocked my ass clean into the street. I just like it! I love Paldea!!)

I love Alola's Dex, I love so much of Sun and Moon's story and characters, and I fucking wish they were better games, I wish USUM wasn't a letdown (as much as Necrozma's everything makes me insane.) I didn't grow up with RBY or GSC so I don't really have any nostalgic attachment to them at all lol--in RBY's case I played the virtual console DS version and kind of. did not enjoy myself at all HHSGGDFG i would be perfectly content never going to Kanto in a pokemon game ever again.

Legends Arceus also kicked ass and I genuinely hope they do more games like that in the future. If they do Legends Unova I'll go absolutely ape, slash pos. (or whatever it is it seems like they're lurking towards with whatever the next 'big' game is, Unova wise--I genuinely dont think it's BW remakes (which also I don't think they should even make in the first place; the games look FINE, just PORT THEM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.))

I think Sector G8/G9 (i cant decide) constantly bicker for some sort of control (Minus Feliciano he is fine just being there hes there for the fun) while the rest are trying to get to leader position for one reason or another. Arthur is FIGHTING to keep that Team Leader role

My idea with Alfred and Matt are that they’re like fightor pilots together, their gag is Alfred cant do shit and always fucks up but Matt always comes in to save the day while Alfred takes all the credit and Matt just has to suck it up and hold back his rage, everyone always forgets he’s there since he’s so quiet but occasionally they’ll notice him when they ran out of maple syrup for pancake day and he sighs and goes down the block to his place to grab a bottle cause his family gets the good shit and he just has to sit there and feel ignored the rest of the time untill they want timbits ot smth hand has to do it all over again. I wanna say they’re half brothers like same dad different moms too, explains why they dont live together and why one kid is violently American and the other Canadian. Or maybe twins and parents got divorced when they were like super young and got remarried and one lived in America and the other Canada. We may never know. Matts older though in both scenarios.

Kiku and Alfred always haul in videogame consoles, they frequently play Super Smash Bros together and like shit gets INTENSE IN THAT TREEHOUSE THERE WILL BE BLOOD, Alfred always loses and he never knows why but secretly Kiku always gives him the bad controller. He is secretly ruthless when it comes to shit like this. Kiku also likes training cadets at Arctic Base from time to time, he can be a little scary. On the flip side he likes to help Feliciano with his homework alongside Ludwig as they try to explain to him how to do long division as Feli just watches and spaces out again. They gave up and thought teaching him to cheat would be easier but no it was just as hard. Kiku likes to bring in ramune sodas and so many poppin cookings like i think its all the kids eat half the time HE ALWAYS BRINGS MORE THEY NEVER SEEM TO RUN OUT. He whips out a waffle one for Alfred for breakfast and watches him lick the cranberry sauce clean off the plastic. He also brings other cool candies cause its kinda one of his only flexes. That and also all the anime he brings, mostly dvd but they’re also only in Japanese so he’s mostly watching them all by himself cause like no one else knows it.

Yao is always off training by himself in his room, beating the shit out of his dummies and having to head down to the shop to buy new ones cause he always ends up wacking their heads and stuffing off. He eats a bunch of candy too to keep his energy up, it is a miracle his teeth haven’t rotted. He likes to go bother Ivan and try to get him to train with him but Ivan just sits in the corner playing with his toy trucks reenacting car crashes and stuff and Yao just says “….lol weirdo, im bringing over leftovers tomorrow for our dinner here at the tree house, do you want those little candies my grandma brought from home?” “Yes please” as he whisper screams acting as the drivers who got into the crash and die. Yao also is also the most athletic of the group, very flexible too.

As you can see Ivan is a little fucked up but he’s kinda just a loner. He feel he doesn’t fit in and Yao kinda hangs out with him but him and Alfred are surely a interesting duo. Arthur makes him work with Alfred sometimes on missions and they kinda cant stand each other but are they ever gonna say that? No. But he also weirdly likes Alfred like “wow he’s so cool…how does he have it so easy?” Thinking he’s the absolute shit when in reality the rest of the sector kinda cant stand him. He mostly just keeps to himself and does what he’s told, but ofc is absolutely fucking terrifying when provoked. But also kinda a little whiney bitch when he gets comfortable.

Francis and Arthur switch on and off to adult busting besties to “I HATE YOU EVEN MORE WHATEVA MAJOR LOSER” with the hand signals and everything. They train alot together and use their angry time as good training time. They fence and sword fight together and also tend to alot of chores around the treehouse. They weirdly respect eachother but also want to see eachother dead. Francis has a pony he keeps in its own stable in the treehouse, he pampers the shit outta it too. He takes it for walks around town and puts it in competitions and DOMINATES competition

Arthur has a whole ass battle ship. He begged Ludwig (2x4 Tech Officer) to build him one and they spent a couple months on it alone to make it perfect (aka Arthur kept adding shit to his list of wants and he went crazy trying to fit it all) but it got done eventually. He breaks for tea time and it’s RELIGIOUS he does not skip a beat to rush over for tea time. He really is a little British boy. I like to think though he does it so no one tries to steal his scones cause he goes out to buy the good ones. Everyone stopped stealing though when he started making copycat scones and they obviously sucked but he didn’t know that he thought his security measures were just so good!! (He put a single trip wire to make you fall forward. Thats it thats the trap) He also gets all his cool outfits commissioned by Taiwan (I dont have a human name for yet </3) who works at global command and makes all the super cool outfits for everyone. He has multiple jackets and like some of these outfits are OUT THERE he pays alot of candy for these things like some got whole ass gems and Egyptian cotton like okaaayyy

No one knows why Feliciano is still here, he doesn’t do shit and super dumb but like he brings good leftovers from his place so ig he can stay. He was a boy scout with Ludwig till he was like “Lets join KND” and he just said “Ok!”. He helps Ludwig the best he can by mostly just handing him shit but he makes himself useful somehow.

Ludwig is a absolute nerd, and also kinda a suck up like its actually so weird to think he’s in the KND cause he seems like super like “we must respect adults at all times!!” But no he has a fire in him, he cant stand them, he puts up with them but he cant stand em really. They did smth he can never forgive…anyway he’s always making new 2x4 tech for his sector and goes to alot of conventions. He’s kinda just a nerd like i said but he does et loose. He loves to play with trains and cars, has a whole model train set he made himself and also kinda a minecraft gamer. Ok so my timeline js weird cause idk if im making this in early 2000’s like the og show or in the modern day but ehhhhh whatever. Anyway when Kiku and Alfred are done playing Smash Bros and throwing hands he plops down to load up Minecraft, he loves to do redstone and also just play survival and ya know, tough it out. He plays with Feliciano but he sucks but he still lets him play. He actually plays alot with Francis but he likes more PVP and exploring than mining and building like Ludwig. Alfred also gets in on it but likes to troll so they usually kick him iut after he drops lava on Ludwigs cow pen.

He probably thinks it's an arbitrary thing to start, Devildom mythology is different from human realm mythology, so I'm not sure if they'd even have a celebration like it before the exchange program.

Either way, once he knows how much it means to you, he's going to make a point of spoiling you however you'd like.

Want to go out? He's asking when and where. You would rather stay in? Absolutely, he's getting you blankets.

You can try to get him a gift, but know that he's going to make it a competition and try to get you something "better"

One of the very few times he'd just be soft. He's already very affectionate in public anyway - you're his and everyone should know that - but for once he'll admit that he's yours too. You have this man in a chokehold.

In terms of his preference for a valentines date, I think he'd want to go out to somewhere fancy for the evening. He would absolutely get you flowers and a sentimental gift (a ring? Maybe).

He's happy to go out, but he'd prefer to stay in on his date with you. He feels it's more sentimental and he's more comfortable to be affectionate when the two of you are alone.

He seems like he'd give you breakfast in bed (or at least try, he also seems like he'd struggle to cook) and spend most of the day cuddling in his bed with you. And if you needed to go somewhere, he'd carry you there. You are not leaving his side all day.

He's got no clue what to do really, but he's trying his best.

It's Asmo... Yes, he knows what Valentines day is and yes he loves it.

He's going all out for the whole day and buying you literally anything you want, he's so excited and so in love.

He's happy to go out or stay in or whatever you want. He just wants to spend the whole day with you and doesn't care who's around to see how affectionate he is towards you.

He is so close to you all day, always linking arms, holding hands or cuddling. He just needs to be touching you at all times.

While he does normally flirt with others (only if its been ok-ed between the two of you), he's cut all of it off today. His attention is on you and you only.

At the end of the day, he'll show you the cards he was given from other people so you guys can laugh about the poetry and different messages.

He's well-versed in all kinds of mythology because he loves to read, so he knows the history and stories behind the holiday but didn't realise how important it actually was to you before you told him.

A cat cafe date and mystery book exchange is his ideal date and he won't budge on doing that, but he'll leave enough time in thr day to make sure you get to do exactly what you want (if you dont already love his date idea).

He's not any more affectionate than normal, at least not in a way that's obvious, but every now and then you'll catch him staring at you with a smile on his face while you're reading together.

Spending the whole evening reading together in his room or in the living room by the main fireplace.

He doesn't necessarily strike me as the kind to do crochet or knitting, but I think he would at least try to make a cosy blanket for you as a gift.

- the new pokémon tcg pocket game looks fun and i really like that it looks like the packs span different sets all in one which is exciting! but im just baffled as to why we have this now AND tcg live ... like i'd much rather have pokémon tcg pocket and the og PTCGO than pocket and live like ... i'd much rather we kept PTCGO over live and have pocket be the definitive mobile version because it looks more engaging than live and more fun like i really like the angle they've gone down by saying it's for on the go battles and trading when you have a free moment like THAT is perfect branding and if we had that and the standard PTCGO oh i'd be LIVING

- im ... weirdly satisfied with legends z-a? like not in a way that im expecting them to be bad or anything, bc legends arceus proved there's a STRONG formula and demand for these games and i think legends z-a will also have a similar reception - but i mean im weirdly satisfied insofar as i was really expecting unova remakes but im SO glad they're not happening yet because i really would rather wait and have them take their time (like they're doing with PLZA) with them because those original games are SO good (also see my rant about how i think they maybe shouldn't be a remake but rather another sequel here). like this makes me happy because it makes me optimistic about revisiting unova in the future, but also the fact that there seems to be TWO legends games for Z-A really makes me think we'll get a lot of closure and/or making up for the lost opportunities and potential X and Y had (the power plant, eternal flower floette, the ultimate weapon, etc) because for me personally, X and Y had such potential but i dont feel like it satisfied me in the way i hoped especially coming off games like HGSS, BW / B2W2, and being a hoenn baby (emerald for LIFE) and it kinda felt like the beginning of the end in a lot of ways (not to sound so dramatic or anything lol) i mean they weren't BAD games they really werent but they had a lot of potential that i feel PLZA can really make up for and THAT excites me!

like im ignoring most of the other mobile game stuff bc i only really play masters ex when i remember it's on my phone (i like it! i just would rather play a console game) and pokemon go, so really even though this felt like a simple direct, im really happy we didnt get a lot because it means they're learning and they're not rushing and THAT to me is the biggest win

shoutout to my ex, who broke my heart when i was 19 then continued to drag me thru the mud for two more years. i really put him on a pedestal, because he was someone who treated me better than others, which is not saying much considering my background. i watched my dad tolerate bullshit for years, then i did the exact same thing w my ex. i thought he was my person, i thought we had a special connection. and he took advantage of that. he took advantage of my kindness, my patience, my empathy, and my trauma. he made me feel like a loser, even though i am a beautiful, intelligent, hardworking woman getting her doctorate in one year. he made me feel ugly and small. he made me feel helpless and pathetic. all because he would come over and smother me in love, then turn around the next day and tell me i wasnt the one for him and that he didnt like me. he never complimented me, he made me feel like i was a loser bc i "didn't have any hobbies", he told me about all the girls he had had flings with during the gaps in our timeline then would accuse me of having hickies even tho i was technically single by his definition. when my pet died i had to beg him, sobbing on the phone, to come over and console me because he was busy going to his friends house he had known since they were 12. he got annoyed with me if i ever called him in a panic, he never reached for my hand in public, he only bought me flowers once after i had asked him to. he would fall asleep immediately and leave me crying next to him in bed, he would complain about being bored if i didn't plan an elaborate date for him every weekend while i was in graduate school, he never planned any dates. he would look at his phone while i was talking to him, and play video games while we were on the phone, and i would keep talking and pretend it didnt bother me that he wasn't listening to a word i said. the only time i felt like he was truly mine was when we were having sex and it made me more sexual than i am naturally bc it was the only time he ever made me feel loved and special. i never knew when he was going to tell me he never wanted to see me again, i would have several breakdowns a week but i would always blame it on myself, not because i was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. i think of all this things and it makes me feel sick to my stomach, because i truly trusted him. i thought if i was patient and loving enough, he would come back to the man he used to be. i really believed in his character, but he betrayed me over and over and emotionally abused me then used me for sex. i thought he was different from the other boys, but he was exactly the same. i dont have to restrain myself from reaching out to call him anymore, because even the thought of him brings an overwhelming sense of doom. then, after all that, not even two months after i finally said i had enough, he had found another girl. she was pretty too. after everything, everything, he still chooses to disrespect me over and over again. he chooses to shatter my heart on the ground and keep smashing it like its a game to him. i just want to say, FUCK you nic. HMMMM in my honest opinion I think it's one of those games that's definitely more fun with mods, I definitely don't think it's a BAD game but I also don't think I'd be able to play vanilla for an extended amount of time without getting bored 😭 Im bad at giving well thought out video game reviews so I'll break it down into pros and cons <3

pros:

dogmeat :)

the follower system is nice, more fleshed out than previous bethesda games bc your followers actually have unique dialogue and likes + dislikes. plus you can romance any/all of the companions

building off of the followers: nick valentine :)

the crafting system + settlement building system is a lot of fun, especially with mods that add new stuff to build

it's a good game for people who care more about the exploration & building/crafting aspect than the story imo, if you like to wander around and do side/faction quests and build stuff and upgrade things then you'll probably like it!!

the character creator is pretty good

comes with an optional "survival mode" for players who like a challenge and would like to experience fallout as a pseudo-survival-craft game

both console and pc players can use mods, though the selection of mods for playstation is significantly Less due to sony's restrictions

cons:

MY biggest personal gripe: i personally find the main story kinda Sucks. your character backstory is locked into a hetero marriage and your Offspring is kinda like, the big plot of the game fghfjhhff fo3 and fnv had way better protags imo. but it's still sandbox-esque so you dont HAVE to do the main quest, i just think it's lame 😵‍💫(there are some aspects of the main story that are cool so it's not that the WHOLE thing sucks. your companions & whatever factions you side with definitely make it better) so I use an alternate start mod LMAO

your companions make annoying comments about the player picking up trash when like. picking up trash is a significant part of the game (quit judging me valentine i need these plastic containers to put a roof over ur head!!!)

the game is poorly optimized, i had performance issues on both pc and xbox and I dont know if that ever got officially fixed by the devs 😭😭

YOU WILL at some point experience the horror of being in dialogue with an npc and then a deathclaw suddenly shows up and kills everybody in the area. such is the way of bethesda life

sometimes the map in fo4 feels a lot like quantity over quality. like there's TONS of stuff to do and buildings to explore but are all of them worth it??? perhaps Not

become face and body neutral - like throughout these last few months i took selfies and nudes of myself and i feel like by doing that i got more neutral towards how i look. like idk nothing gets done feeling so negatively about yourself. the selfies thing was honestly to also find my angles HAJSDFHSAF but also i'd like to take selfies better too. as for the nudes part like idk i think i will be keeping all that to myself but it's the same idea for my face i suppose, i look good and i feel neutral. i dont have to edit a selfie or a nude for my skin to be smoother or whatever like i look fine and i can just exist like Relax... also my cheeks are becoming rounder YES GOD!!!!

work out more - well i've already been working out anyways and this year i'm happy because i got to improve my core strength a bit so that's good. i do it so that way my back is not in pain and same goes for my legs so YAAAY for not being in pain

cook more - i've been very on and off about this....like heinously HJASHDFJASF uhm something that got me back into cooking though is fried rice like that will never fail me and this time i really got it down so YAAAS... i'd like to cook more in the future and get better at it... btw i dont think i talked about it but i got a new rice cooker and it is very good like yes god!!

play and clear my video games - i've been playing ff7r mainly lately and recently for christmas i bought project diva x on the ps4 on sale... i'd like to own a physical version of that game someday but everywhere is selling it for full price or whatever like i'm not paying that much for a flop game... well anyways i'd just like to play more beyond my silly mobile games and perhaps i'll even play MMOs... but i'd like to play the games i have on the consoles i have (psp, psvita, ps3/4, etc.) and just finish them or revisit others

animate more - okay i only really started doing that this year because of oomf's birthday and hatsune miku's birthday but i'd like to make more... i do have a lot of ideas but that all requires me to finish my 3d models speaking of which...

model more - i already kinda talked abuot this on my art blog but i did Technically model more compared to last year, only 3 models in 2022, this year i made 6... whoa... well i guess the amount doesn't really matter but i would like to really just practice more, finish projects, and let my 3d models come to life through my renders and animations

listen to more music - i already mentioned on my 12 tracks for 2023 post but i listen to music as a small way to engage with history. i started in 2022 and it's been a really fun journey listening to all this music and there's so much out there too.

gif more and possibly get into archiving? - ok i picked up gif making this year, i used to do them back in like... high school or whatever but then i just stopped. but then i realized this was a really good way of archiving. i'd like to actually scan things like scanning this yoshitaka amano artbook i have or even the f7d artbooks since that game is more than likely going to close this year...but i dont have a machine that scans and technically i could just take a silly picture off of my phone but idk i dont think it's the same. maybe one day but other wise i'll probably just stick with gif making

so basically it's just me keeping up with the stuff i've done recently or have been doing. unfortunately as of writing this i feel sad and maybe it's because i don't want this day to pass and for a new year to start but it will anyways whether i like it or not... le sigh...

Today was a significant step up from yesterday. I woke up late but my amazon stuff was delivered straight to the door so i didnt need to go down to the mail room to get it. So i got to go into work with my big matcha, new screen protector, and ye olde cassette player

I was skimming through radio stations on AM and FM and it makes a lot of sense that its like 2% spanish music and 98% christion propaganda. I find it really interesting how quickly conservative minds have become experts on diversity and being accepting of other peoples way of life now that they have to be friendly with isreal. Weird. But my brother brought 6 tapes for me to listen to so I dont become programmed. So far I continue to be a fan of the doom metal band Sleep, I like one or two Dinosaur Jr. songs, and I think Fugazi isn't for me. My Sweet Pill and Pool Kids tapes are ordered though so I'll have 3 of my own soon

They also randomly started releasing PC 88 games on the switch?? I guess EGG Console is a japanese streaming website that lets you play old games like that, and theyre starting to port them to switch over here. These are like foundational video games. Xanadu, Hydlide, and Silpheed influenced way more modern games than you'd expect. They all come with a "how to play" section that basically answers all the questions you were about to google lol. They're really amazing ports because they change absolutely nothing about the games, not even things that are so confusing it hurts the overall game. They even have the little PC 88 lights in the top left that would have origionally shown which floppy disk was being read at the time. Insane
