I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this. Have you ever read a fic that, stylistically, it's beautiful, linguistically it's tight, and it's obvious the author poured their whole self into constructing the plot, crafting the world, and nailing down the characterizations, but... You just don't get it? Like, perhaps there's some insight you're missing, and it's almost there, you think maybe you're close to getting what the author is trying to portray, but you just can't make the connection necessary?

(Embarrassed nonny continued) You even reread to make sure you didn’t skip anything, but it’s like it just seems that something missing? Or that you’re the one missing something vital? So you go to the comments to see if anyone else is confused, but all you see are lovely, supportive compliments about how beautiful the story is (and it is), or how heartwrenching it is (usually so). But you seem to be the only one not getting it?

(Embarrassed nonny cont. again) Is it destructive to let the author know that I think a story is beautiful in it’s telling, but that I don’t quite understand it? I don’t want to offend the author, who has clearly worked very hard, and I appreciate them so much. But, I want to understand the story they’re telling, even if I’m the only one not getting it. If that even makes any sense. P.S.- thanks for always taking time to listen to fandom woes and fielding requests. You’re a champion! ❤

First of all, there’s nothing for you to be embarrassed about! Stories are partly about authorial intent, and partly about reader interpretation; no two people will interpret a story the same, and no author SHOULD expect a reader to interpret their story exactly as the author intended. SHERLOCK is a perfect example of this (the writers SAY they meant it to be one thing and literally the ENTIRE FANDOM is divided on what’s actually being shown on screen), or if you want to be more classical, the works of Shakespeare as well.

In fact, Shakespeare is a perfect example of your problem: I love Shakespeare: it’s beautifully written, it sounds lovely to the ear, and it invokes imagery based on how someone interprets it. But I sure as heck have NO idea what I read until someone explained it to me, or how I SHOULD have interpreted it (which, is oxymoronic to my point, I know…). Only after I hear how someone else interpreted the work, I can then RE-READ a work and begin to understand what was meant by it, and then develop my own interpretations.

I’ve read a few fics by a couple authors in this fandom where I LOVED their writing, but I had NO idea what was happening until I re-read the fics… it’s a reading comprehension thing with me, I’m sure (my brain tends to move a bit quicker than I can read and talk, and in turn it also tends to wander when my eyes aren’t going fast enough, LOL), but a lot of times, if I just read a fic a second time I can then grasp the words my brain omitted the first time and then really enjoy and love the fic. I hate that about me, but that’s how my brain works… Perhaps it may be the same with your brain? If a fic is well written and you enjoyed it but just had some comprehension issues, perhaps a second read-through will help you as it has done with me :)

So, now to answer your question: if after reading a fic, and you don’t understand it, is it okay to ask the authorial intent of the story? Unfortunately, there is no yes-or-no answer to this question, Lovely, as every author is different. Personally – and this is just for me speaking, and what I would do or what I would not mind if I were the author – I think it’s alright, so long as you are respectful to them! Dig around their user pages and you can often find ways to interact with the author outside of their fics, or information about whether or not they want to read criticism etc. on their stories. If an author doesn’t want any interaction, they’ll be very clear about it, but most authors have ways to get in touch with them, so to ME that’s a saying “hey, if you have any questions, here’s how to get a hold of me!”.

If they have a Tumblr with asks turned on, you can even do it like you have done for me here; write exactly what you mentioned, just tweak a few things: Mention how much you love their prose and their storytelling, and you can really feel how much love they put into the story. You found it interesting, though you’re unclear on a few parts. Ask them kindly how they intended for an audience to read it. Many creators appreciate honesty when talking about their works, so just be honest and say that you didn’t understand something and wouldn’t mind a bit of clarification about something. They can’t fault you for not understanding something, and if they do, well… I find that rather ableist, in my opinion: That’s like telling someone with dyslexia to just stop mixing up letters, or someone who’s native language isn’t English to just learn one of the most complex languages in the world with so many structure rules that make no sense half the time…. *shrugs* It’s harsh of me to say, I am sorry about that, writers, but reading comprehension doesn’t come easily for everyone.

ANYWAY, back to my point: An author, so long as you are respectful (and maybe peppering in some compliments and praise never hurts either… a lot of us creative-types have praise kinks) and don’t throw a backhanded compliment (like don’t say: “Your work is so amazing! Though I think you should make it easier for people to understand it, your words are too complex”), they will be more than happy to write out their intent for the story. Let them know it’s YOU who’s not understanding (so, “I have trouble understanding this part” as opposed to “you should make this work easier to read for everyone”… make the onus on YOU). DON’T be demanding (like, don’t say something that can be interpreted as “it’s YOUR responsibility to cater to MY need to understand”), and be patient for a reply.

You can see why this isn’t an easy yes-or-no answer, LOL.

Essentially, kindness begets kindness, and respect begets respect. And – this isn’t an attack on you personally with regards to this ask, because I know my audience are adorably shy beans – it might be a show of good faith and intentions to stay off anon when you ask your question; it shows the author that you aren’t being malicious, just simply a smol bean who loves stories and want to learn more about theirs. BUT, it IS okay to stay on-anon if you are shy / worried about not the author but other people interpreting it the wrong way, just make sure you tailor your question to the author in a respectful way that it comes across as respect. Perhaps something like this:

Hi, [author]! I really love your story, [story title]! It’s well-written and I can really tell how much you love this story and how much soul you put into it. I just had a question for you with regards to [name concern here]. [state question here]. I have trouble sometimes with [reading comprehension, English/language, dyslexia, etc.], and I would love to know what your ideas and thought process was for [character, plot point, situation, etc.]. Understanding what the author intended really helps me enjoy the stories even more than I already did, and your thoughts would be really helpful for when I re-read your story! Thank you so much for your time, and thank you for blessing us with this beautiful story!

Or something like that, LOL. And if you genuinely aren’t a native-language speaker, let them know that it’s not your first language so you’re just honestly not grasping a colloquialism that’s common in English but not in, say, German. It’s more common than you think! I’ve had people ask me in private before about a phrase I’ve written or about how they should interpret a meta of mine; I’ve never taken insult upon it, and in fact I love helping people understand my work so that they can enjoy other peoples’ content in the future.

As an additional thought I just had, I think a good example of fandom-understanding-authors is, actually, the @johnlockficclub; every couple months or so we read new stories, and then at the end of the story, we ask authors our questions about their intent of the stories, and in turn the author gets an interesting (I hope) insight into how various people interpreted their stories. Even during the live-chats leading up to the author q-and-a, we all see how we each interpreted certain sections of the chapters we read that week, and see various viewpoints we never considered. So I think that is a wonderful way to see authorial intent vs. reader interpretation, and as far as I know, all the authors we’ve “interviewed” loved just getting that kind of feedback for their stories. You should join in on at least the author interviews just to see how they go and give you some ideas on how an author will take feedback. It’s so fascinating to me!

Just a fun little anecdote that oftentimes, it is a positive experience for an author because most of them love to talk about their stories – their stories are their children, and they care deeply for them, because it’s a part of them, and it’s an expression of their love. They WANT you to understand and enjoy their work. It’s a cyclical thing: if you understand their children so you can love them too, then they will love their fanbase and will want to continue to write since they received feedback that was validating to them that they produce work that people enjoy and want to know more about.

Finally, I’d love for some authors to weigh in on their thoughts about this; would you be offended if someone loved your story but would want your clarification on some things, or want to know how you intended for the audience to perceive it? Please let us know!

Rowan and you have been together for a little while now. During the adventures you have had with the Cursed Vaults you two grew really close. After finding the third Cursed Vault you had actually kissed her. You definitely surprised her back then and it wasn’t even the start of your relationship. After you got the next clue you actually realized what you did and ran off with an awkward grin on your face. The two of you couldn’t even look at each other for a week. It wasn’t until Merula shouted “Just kiss already!” when you two decided you needed to talk. After a long talk with each other you two realized that you really liked each other. Rowan didn’t want to ruin her friendship with you by asking you out. She thought you didn’t seem to be interested in her romantically and she thought it would be better if she hid her feelings for you.

In the beginning you didn’t have any romantic feelings for Rowan, but only because you weren’t really interested in romance at all when you were a first year. Romantic feelings grew during your third year, but didn’t have the guts to tell your best friend about your feelings for her. So, at the end of your fourth year it happened. You two were officially dating before your fifth year at Hogwarts. Most people were supportive about your relation with Rowan, but there were also people talking thrash behind your back. Especially some guys that were saying bad things about your relationship with Rowan. You ignored most of them. Unless they were saying things along the lines of ‘but Rowan is so plain, Y/N. How could you date someone like her?’. You really had to tell some people off. It was your decision, not theirs.

You would meet up with Rowan in library today. Only to be cornered by one guy. “Well, hello Y/N.” He said. “Eh… Hello?” You said, trying to walk past him. Of course, he wasn’t going away and tried to block your path. You were feeling annoyed and gave the guy a look. “Excuse me, but I have to go somewhere.” You mumbled, trying to walk away again. Once again he stepped in front of you. “Where are you going?” He asked. “I’m meeting up with someone. My girlfriend is waiting for me.” You said, looking really annoyed. “Oh, you mean that plain friend of yours. Come on, you could have so much more fun if you come with me.” He said with a grin. “No, thank you.” You simply said when you tried to walk away again. This time another guy blocked your path as well. “Oh, come one, Y/N. Let’s go to Hogsmeade and drink some butterbeer with us.” The other guy said. Oh great, a third guy walked over to you, with a grin. “You will have so much more fun with us, than that silly girlfriend of yours.” The third guy said.

You tried to walk away from them by going back where you came from, but they grabbed your arm. “Don’t go, Y/N.” The first guy said. “You will come with us.” The second guy said. They basically pulled you along and you were starting to panic a little. “I don’t want to go with you.” You told them, hoping they would perhaps listen to you if you directly told them you didn’t want to go along with them. They didn’t listen, just pulling you along. “Just drink a butterbeer with us, we are not going to bite.” The third guy said. You shook your head, frowning. “No, let me go!” You said, trying to struggle free from their grip. They didn’t bulge, just pulling you along even rougher than before. You could tell you were about to pass the library, knowing Rowan would be waiting for you at the entrance. You weren’t sure what the guys’ true intentions were, but you weren’t feeling good about this. You took a deep breath.

“Rowan! Help!” You yelled as hard as you could. Before the guys could do something you heard a familiar voice. “Y/N!” Rowan ran over to you and the guys. She pulled you away from those guys and held you close to her. “What were you doing with Y/N?” She said, glaring at the guys. “We just invited her to drink some butterbeers with us.” The first guy said with a smirk. “Well, clearly she didn’t want to go with you.” She told them. “How could you be so sure about that, Khanna?” The second guy said. “Are you serious…?” Rowan muttered. “We thought she would be up for something more exciting than you.” The third guy said. Rowan looked pretty angry. “By forcing her to come with you guys?” She said angrily. “Oh please, she doesn’t even know what she wants. We thought we could help her a little to see how lame you are.” The first guy said, not being impressed by Rowan.

Rowan looked pissed and then she grabbed her wand. “Locomotor Wibbly!” She shouted, pointing at the first guy. The guy’s legs collapsed and he fell on the ground. The other guys looked at Rowan, their eyes widening a bit before they looked at the guy on the ground. “What are you two looking at? Get me out of here!” The guy said before the other two helped him up and scurried away from the scene. Rowan sighed and then she looked at you. “Good riddance, don’t you think so?” She said, looking a bit relieved. You just stared at her, not saying much. She tilted her head, looking a bit concerned. “Y/N, are you okay?” She asked.

Suddenly you surprised Rowan with a tight hug. “Woah, Y/N!” She said. “Oh my Merlin… Thank you so much, Rowan.” You said softly. She smiled sweetly. “What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn’t rescue you from those buffoons?” She said before pulling away from the hug. She still held your shoulders though, studying you. “You are okay, aren’t you?” She asked you. “They didn’t try anything else did they?” You quickly shook you head. “They didn’t do anything besides pulling me roughly along with them.” You said honestly. She frowned and looked at your arms. “I can tell they weren’t being very gently with you… Look at your arms! You actually have bruises on your arms.” She said, not looking too happy about that. “I’d rather have bruises on my arms than going with them to wherever they were going to take me.” You said.

“Still, they shouldn’t have been so rough with you, Y/N.” Rowan said honestly. “I’m just glad you heard me.” You told her honestly. “I’m glad I heard you yelling. I don’t want to think about what would have happened if I didn’t hear you.” She said, almost shivering when she mentioned it. You gave her a quick kiss and then smiled at her. “But they didn’t. I’m really glad you helped me out when I needed you. You are the best, Rowan.” You told her. She blushed a little, but gave me a smile as well. “It is no problem, Y/N.” She said. “Also, that Jelly-Legs curse was wicked.” You said with a grin. “Well, I had to do something and quick, because they wouldn’t take me seriously. I think they will think twice before they mess with you again.” She said and then she held your hand.

“Is our library date still on?” You asked with a smile. “Only if you want to.” She said before you two walked to the library. You two would study together like always, but you could tell that Rowan wasn’t completely focusing on studying with you. She seemed to be lost in thoughts, looking a bit uncomfortable. You tried to catch her attention when she was lost in thoughts, but Madam Pince would shush you whenever you tried to. After a while you sighed and suddenly grabbed your books. Rowan suddenly looked up and blinked. You gave her a look, like you were saying you were getting out of there. She nodded before she grabbed her own books. Once you were out of the library you looked at Rowan. “I could tell you weren’t able to focus.” You said. “About that…” Rowan said. “Let’s go to our dormitory. We could talk there.” You said when you walked towards Y/H’s common room.

Once you two had reached your dormitory you sat down on your bed and patted the spot next to you, wanting Rowan to sit down next to you. She sat down next to you and looked down a little. “Tell me what is bothering you, Rowan.” You said. “It is just that I’m worried about something.” She said. “About what?” You asked, tilting your head. Rowan looked at you. “I’m worried about you.” She said. You looked confused and raised an eyebrow. “About me? Look Rowan, I know you were worried about me because of what happened, but I’m fine.” You told her. “I’m not just talking about today, Y/N.” She said seriously. “Then what are you talking about?” You asked, not sure what she meant with it. “I’m talking about people harassing you.” She said. “Harassing me?”

“Y/N, I’m well aware about the guys that keep bothering you.” Rowan said. You blinked and then you slightly bit your lip. “It is not that bad, Rowan. I mean, it is nothing I can’t handle.” You told her. “Y/N, three guys tried to pull you along against your will today.” She said. “It’s not like that happens to me every day.” You said. “It still happened, Y/N.” She said seriously. “All because we are dating.” She said, frowning a little. “What are you saying, Rowan?” You said when your eyes narrowed. “That is my fault you are getting harassed by them. That’s what I’m trying to say.” She said. “That is nonsense!” You said. “No, it is not nonsense! Ever since we two started dating they started harassing you!” She yelled. “What do you want to do about it, Rowan? Break up with me so they will stop?” You yelled back. “No! I don’t want to break up with you! I just want to do something so they will stop!” She yelled back.

“I don’t want anything to happen to you when I’m not around.” Rowan said seriously. “Rowan, I’ll be fine. If it makes you feel any better I could try to avoid these kind of people and be more careful where I’m walking.” You said. “Y/N, that is impossible. You know you won’t be able to avoid these people all the time.” She said. “I know, but I could at least try so you would feel better about me walking around the castle with those jerks.” You said. “Maybe we should inform a teacher about what happened.” She suggested. “I know, that is probably a really plain answer, but-” “Ah-ha! That what this is about, isn’t it? This is about them calling you plain and stuff.” You pointed out. Rowan rubbed the back of her neck. “You got me there.” She mumbled.

“I suppose I do kind of wanted to know if you weren’t bored with me, Y/N.” Rowan said. You raised an eyebrow and then you moved closer to her. “If I was bored with you, I would tell you, Rowan.” You told her. “I really like you, Rowan. I don’t want anyone coming between us.” You said honestly. “Besides, if I didn’t like you anymore, I wouldn’t do this.” You said when you kissed her. Rowan kissed you back, feeling more relieved about everything. “Did that reassure you?” You asked her. “Definitely.” She told you with a grin. You began grinning as well and wrapped your arms around her neck. “I guess our library date didn’t go well, so we should do something else to make up for it.” You said with a playful pout. Rowan laughed. “What did you have in mind?” She asked. “Maybe we should have a nice date on the Castle Grounds.” You suggested. “Sounds like a plan to me.” She said with a smile. You were glad Rowan had told you what was bothering her.

“We still should tell a teacher about this, Y/N.” Rowan said. “We should, or else we might be the ones in trouble.” You agreed.

I saw your tags on l******i's post about clarification and wondered if you think intellectual property still works on tumblr? News and such still use it; doesnt it comply? Youre a level-headed person so I just wondered 😊

This topic has a lot of gray areas and I could write pages and pages, but I’m not going to do that. I really don’t want to get caught up in the middle of the two blogs in question, but since I reblogged and tagged about it I guess I opened myself up to it. I’ll state my views as simply as possible and in respect to the specific posts being discussed. Keep in mind that I am an outside observer, so I have limited knowledge of the situation.

First let me post a couple of definitions of “intellectual property.”

Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.

The colloquial description of intellectual property is that it comprises all those things that emanate from the exercise of the human mind, such as ideas, inventions, poems, designs, music, etc. Intellectual property is therefore about creative ideas. Dissemination of these ideas benefits society and stimulates further creative activity. However, once ideas have been made public they can be copied by others. If their originators are to control and obtain remuneration from their use they can only do so within a secure legal framework, which creates property rights in those ideas.

I’m just going to focus on the issue at hand, which is creative content on tumblr, which generally doesn’t deal in patents, etc. But a type of intellectual property still exists here because the original creator of content took time and effort, and used their creativity to choose a moment and how to present it. That content should not be taken and used as one’s own with no credit to the creator. Let’s look at the pyramid of ‘ownership’ as it applies to a lot of content on kpop blogs. A group/person performs, they own that performance. A group/person uploads a video, or a fan films a performance and uploads a fancam, the video belongs to the person uploading the video. That person can either give permission to gif or edit the video (with credit of course), or they can forbid it. If fans have permission to gif/edit, then that video is up for grabs as long as the content creator who uses it credits the source. Now, we know that fancams, or any kind of video by ekso (like a vlive) will be watched by thousands. Not all of those fans are going to create content from any given video, but there are a host of fans who will. Is only one person, out of the whole fandom, allowed to create content from a particular video/moment? The first person who uses it owns it? NO.

Okay, so does that mean that fans can only create content from the same source as long as they have a totally different take on it? NO. It’s inevitable that more than one person, many people in fact, will have similar thoughts on a subject or moment. For example, if a thousand people were shown a video of someone kicking a puppy, and were asked to caption it, most would write about how horrible it was, just with different ways of saying it. It doesn’t automatically make it copying to have similar thoughts on a subject.

Let’s just take the ekso fandom as an example, since it’s the one I’m most familiar with. Every time something cute, fun, or interesting happens at a concert or on a broadcast, we get a slew of gifs, gif-sets, photos (the exact same photo posted tons of times with different captions), and video edits. Back in the day, when I used to post more, I used to livestream ekso concerts and stalk vine to find cute and interesting moments that had just happened, and then post the vine with a caption. Now, if I went into the tag, I would often see other people who found and posted the exact same vine, but with a different caption. Do I have a right to go to that person and say they can’t do that because I did it first? No, because I didn’t create the vine, I merely posted it with a caption of my own. Do I have the right to tell them they can’t post it because their caption had the same feel as mine (like we both mention that it was cute or whatever)? No, I can’t claim ownership to a common thought.

Unless a person takes creative content, such as a gif/video edit/photo edit, uses it as if it were their own without permission or credit, or takes something written word for word, then there is no stealing of ‘intellectual property.’

In regards to the two blogs in question, I’m not sure what’s going on, and I don’t want to instigate or pit one against the other, or anyone against either one of them. I follow both. But it seems as though one is accusing the other of stealing gifs, which I have seen no evidence of (I think she just re-used her own gifs in two different posts). l******i has been making gif sets for a long time, and when she does an analysis she is good about crediting sources. If someone wants to accuse another blogger of stealing gifs, or other creative content, they should provide the proof (perhaps link the original post and the post with stolen content). If the accusing blog is upset because l******i did an apartment analysis (which may not be the case, this may just be my assumption), all I can say is that l******i posted an analysis first, then posted a second part after the accusing blog posted her first apartment analysis. They both touched on some similar ideas, and included floor plans, but they did their own work. It makes sense if you are trying to figure out the layout of an apartment to look at what you can see in videos/pics and try to put it together with a possible floor plan. It was a lot of work for both of them, and I appreciate and enjoy both, but I don’t see any stealing going on. The hidden apartment idea has been going around for a while. I even posted something about a ‘secret location’ quite a while ago, but I certainly didn’t consider that the idea belonged to me. If I wasn’t so lazy and unmotivated, I might have done an analysis similar to theirs.

I’m not trying to take sides, and make one blog feel bad. I care about the bloggers I follow and want them to be happy and enjoy tumblr. At the end of the day, I reblogged l******i’s post because I saw people accusing her of things I see no evidence of, and I’ve always thought she was good about giving credit when needed. I don’t like people to be dragged just because someone made an unsubstantiated claim. Plus, I sometimes get the impression that the accusing blog feels ownership over moments or ideas, which might prevent other kd supporters from feeling like they can post about them. I really don’t want that to happen. We should be embracing and encouraging kd blogs and content creators. I previously had a bit of contact with the accusing blog and they were quite nice, so I’m hoping it was all a misunderstanding and it can be sorted out.

Basically it comes down to having integrity and not stealing something another person has actually taken time and effort to create while, at the same time, not accusing others of stealing if you don’t show what and how the content has been stolen.

Let’s remember to be kind and respect each other, especially those of us who love and support kd. We do not need in-fighting.

Got in an accident with no collision on my car insurance?

Ended up switching to Allstate who has been charging me $90 a month (better than $140 right?).....6 months go by, everything's cool.....now my policy renewal is coming up and they're trying to tell me i need to pay $160 a month for their basic insurance. Are you kidding me? And according to them it's another STATEWIDE INSURANCE INCREASE ...... They also told me that it could be due to not having CONSECUTIVE insurance for the last few years, as in...I switched from State Farm to Unitrin to Allstate......they told me call the state insurance commissioner...which I did.... Got connected to some guy in Gainesville who tells me that the INSURANCE companies are the ones who decide the rates and increases...not them. Pretty much BS....Allstate's blaming the state, state's blaming them...feels like a huge runaround to me. Guess my questions are.... the symbol on jaunes shield is a rainbow and the french word for rainbow is arc en ciel and jaune has 7 sisters and there are 7 colors of the rainbow

so it fits that the arc familys theme is supposed be having each members colors to one of the 7 colors of the rainbow but jaunes color is all 7 of the rainbows colors jaunes aura is white

which is the combination of all colors on the visual spectrum

consider jaunes base aura color as white ( I have to point out when pyrrha used her semblance her aura turned black

( when her aura color is red in its base state

and his activation of his semblance as a prism where depending on the ability he switches between seven colors of the rainbow (

so I think that while jaunes aura when he amplifies someone elses or his own aura is yellow

and it changes when he chooses a specific ability which fits with the paladin/cleric/support role

2nd semblance immunity/blocking : he and the stuff he is using as a conduit for his aura is immune to certain semblances which is meant to put a sort of status effect on him or manipulate his body like telekinesis or polarity ) or to put it another way if it begins to affect him/ if the person trys to use it on him this ability nullifys it and works passively for him where itreacts when someone uses their semblance on him unless its not meant to hurt or mess with the person like rens semblance ( given the trust jaune has in ren and knowing what rens semblance is when ren uses that on jaune he would subconsciously let it happen and not have the semblance immunity goes off for it reacts to his desire or sensing a threat ) ( even if he is unaware they are doing it ) after he awakens the ability ) or the stony glare which is meant to paralyze an enemy one they look into their eyes or emeralds hallucinations ( but neos illusions would still not apply since its not meant to directly affect him so semblances like ruby or yang wouldnt apply) or semblance nullification ( maybe) and the semblance to steal someones semblance or

think of it as him putting up a shield against effects of semblances of that type or uses of semblances of that type meant to hinder someone or indirect attack etc)

and he can put up this shield for other people (in games there are spells to prevent debuffs

the 3rd ability the ability to undo the effects of someones semblances like for mercury he could restore mercurys semblance. or if yatsuhasi wipes someones memories jaune could undo that in rpgs there are moves/spells to undo / cure status effects on someone like ( blind, petrify, stun , forget etc )

4th semblance ability to sense someones semblance being used to react to it ( a passive one ) and when he gains it the semblance blocking will activate depending on the type of ability it is )

5th aura constructs the ability to make constructs of aura like wings ( vine suggested extending his aura to jaune when he was falling I thought what did vine mean by that and then I came up with this ability because how would extending his aura stop him from falling or being grabbed )

and jaune having angel wings would make him an ARCangel (a term for angel of high rank)

it would allow him to create constructs of his aura like cinder using her semblance to make weapons ( and this will make it so that pyrrhas polarity wouldnt work against jaune (and I like that idea ) if he created weapons out of aura like cinder creating glass weapons and it will be fitting if his semblance grows to allow him to take a page from his enemy cinders

what if in the case of say jaune losing an arm he will be able to create a prosthetic made of pure aura that will work like a normal arm and after he made it it doesnt cost him any aura maintaining its existence it only costs aura to create it once he makes it it stays in existence without using up any aura (and he can choose to undo his creation at will with 0 aura cost) so while cinder has a grimm arm which would allow her to absorb the maidens power but it has a weakness of cinder being unable to use her aura on it to protect it for grimm are beings of darkness which lack aura because they have no souls jaune will have a arm made of aura where after creating it ( and its actually even stronger than his original arm ) he is able to use his aura on it to further protect and strengthen the blows dealt by the arm (like how when mercury blocked yatsuhashis sword strike it with his legs the fact that they are metal means that he doesnt need to cost as much aura to protect from his hit) and the force by the things the aura arm can bring .

and is able to cover his scars with aura construct

and what if jaune is able to make it so his fake arm made out of aura look and feels like a real arm like hisoka from hunter x hunters texture surprise

Hello Thank you for entering in my post I've been with Admiral insurance for more than 1 year, which is my 1st car insurance since I've been in England I've been driving for more than 12 years and I've never made a claim before it was a normal and clear day and i was going to work when I had an accident with a girl riding a moped It was a very silly accident, fortunatelly none was injured, and I only had a broken wind-mirrow, which is no more than 50 of damage I had to call Admiral, my insurer, to sort the problem out, I had no other choice Admiral told me I was not covered to go to work since on the policy agreement says: use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only. And, according to them, to be covered, my policy had to be: use for social and COMMUNITY. So Community for them means, going to work, it is ridiculas but that's what i was told However they said we cover you, you will have to pay 23.74 extra and you will be covered, it was frustrating, a theft, but I let it go... The absurd story didn't even start yet! I gave Admiral all the details which the police had given to me the day of the accident plus some pictures of the scene, which I took before to leave that day Admiral sent an inspector who interwied me at my house. This inspector wrote a statement of 6 PAGES! about my accident, however, I need to say, he did a very good job On the statement states that none was injured and the fault lies with the moped rider, which is also what the police said on the scene. In addtion this inspector suggested to call my insurer again to finally get my car fixed. Admiral told me I will have to pay for the damage myself and, after all their investigation, if they find out it was not my fault, I can ask e refund for the damage, and they added that this investigation can take up to 3 years, so I will have my money back in 3 years! this is because according to them, the moper rider was injured This is absolutely incredible What would you suggest? Our family has had State Farm for 70 years now, several generations, and in the last 10 years or so we have been progressively more & more disappointed in their caring and customer service. Maybe its just the 'assistants' that my local SF agent (who never talks to his clients any more) use, they both seem to have just horrible attitutudes, sarcastic, and act like you are a complete PITA every time you call. I even have an email from his main assistant that I asked her to forward to the actual agent because I was told he was the only one that could answer my question, and just today I was SHOCKED when I re-read the email, and saw in the forward of my email when his assistant sent it on to the actual SF agent, She said This guy will just not give up, he keeps haunting me about this issue! I couldn't freaking believe it. I was going to forward the email to SF headquarters in Bloomington IL, but then as I read more & more about state farm I saw they are completely independent agents in each office, and have literally NO ONE who is their boss or who can reprimand or correct them. This is unbelievable. If I treated my customers at my work place & gave them the rotten attitude treatment we get from our SF office here, I guarantee you I would lose my job. No one is in charge at state farm obviously. Back to my question - I recently bought a classic car I have been looking for a long time - getting it next week - it is 25 yrs old, all original & in perfect shape. My state (Maryland) lets me register the car as Historic if it is 20 yrs old or more. I plan to do this. I contacted my wonderful state farm office today, to get a quote on a new policy/binder for this collectors car. They apparently don't like insuring a vehicle as Historic, maybe the policy is too cheap & they do not make any money off it. Forgive me if this is a stupid question.. I currently have insurance coverage on a 2004 car and just purchased a 2013 car. I am going today to switch over my insurance (if possible) and would like to know what to expect before I go. I automatically assumed my insurance would go up because of the year difference, but a friend of mine recently switched her policy over from a 2000 to a 2007 and her policy did not go up, so now i'm questioning if mine would go up and what would cause it to vary. California Auto Insurance Cancellation?

How soon after an insurance company cancels an auto policy for non-payment will they report that cancellation to the dmv? I understand the electronic notification, but how quickly will the insurance company actually notify the dmv that the party is no longer covered? We only pay $1504 a year for what we thought was two cars and I had assumed that was pretty good. In fact we were paying for three cars and an extra $663 a year on the car we sold.
