Summary: You don't know how long you can keep your act up.

Your best friend, the guy you've known ever since you were two years old. The one who you could rely on, rant to and cry with, has just broken your heart once again. You stood there watching him kiss her as if his life depends on it, hugging her close to him as if he's afraid to lose her.

You wish you were her

It's then when you realise he was looking at you, you tight smiled and walked slowly over to him, your friendship wasn't the same since that day but right now you pushed it aside he had just won the EURO's with Spain, you felt happy for him and his achievement.

"Congratulations, platanito" You said softly maintaning some distance in between the two of you

"Gracias, corazón" The nickname had your chest tighten and you felt like crying, soon you felt his arms around you and you took a deep breath.

You had already made up your mind so you let yourself hug him tightly, some tears escaping your eyes; these being misinterpreted by tears of happiness.

"But don't you cry, I just cried enough for the two of us" He said as you crack a small smile

"Eres campeón de Europa" (You're champion of Europe) You said "How could I not cry if this is something you've always wanted? I feel so proud of you" You caress his cheek lovingly

"You've helped me through all of this too" You shook your head and was about to speak but no words came out, so you just wrapped your arms around him again and let go of the breath you were holding.

"Te quiero muchisimo, mi platanito" (I love you so much, banana boy) Your voice shook lightly

"Y yo a ti, mi corazón" (Love you too)

"Never forget it, please"

"You're my best friend until the day I die, I will never" He gets away for a bit before joining both of your foreheads "Why are you crying so much?"

"I'm just happy, that's all" You sniffed getting away from him, if you stayed one more second you will not be able to do it. "I'll go congratulate the others and then we will take a pic with the throphy, sounds good?" He nods

"See you in a few then" He said "Leila, vamos" He called his six months girlfriend over to congratulate other players and have some pictures of themselves with the throphy.

You dried your tears and walked over to the shark, who was watching you with a small smile

"Mi tiburón" (My shark)

"Mi pececita" (My little fish) He hugs you swinging you side to side

"Congrats, you deserve this win so much" Your voice was shaky

"We all did" He said and you nod "Will you be back?"

"I don't know" You whisper "But I'll try my best to keep in touch"

"I still don't think it's the best option" You shake your head

"Ferran..."

"But I know you need this" You nod thanking him "I'll always be one phone call away" You smile

"So will I"

"You won't stay for the celebrations?" You shook your head

"I can't" He nods

"See you later, then?" You nod hugging him once again

"See you later, my shark" You kiss his cheek "Love you"

"Love you too, little fish. Take care"

You go over to Gavi, Fermín, Lamine and Nico who are dancing and congratulate them with smile on your face and tight hugs. The first two also knew about your decision, they didn't question, they didn't cry, they just hugged you and wished you the best.

You then walked over the González López, Rosy and Fernando didn't know but Fer did, that's why he had this sad and melancholic look on his face as he watched you arrive

"Can't you reconsider it?" You shook your head

"This was a mistake" Pedri says standing up from the bed quicly searching for his clothes

"Pedri"

"We're best friends, we shouldn't have done this"

"You started it"

"And I don't know why I did it! But this can't happen again, we're just friends and that's it"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, I am! We can forget about this and be friends, like we've always been"

"I have sat in silence for a long time, I can't wait for thim to suddenly like me again and then pretend nothing happened" You looked to the side watching Pedri goof around with Leila "He's happy now"

"What he did was wrong but I can't pay for his mistakes"

"You won't"

"I will be if I'm losing my sister"

"You'll not lose me Fer. I'll always be here for you but I need time for myself"

"I feel like I will, you don't even want to tell me where you are going to"

You sigh "You remember me saying of this famous program in this collegue I really wanted to go?" He nods "They let me in"

"In fucking Australia?! That's so far"

"You can still visit me anytime you want to, I'll keep in touch with you, I promise"

"Promises can be broken"

"I'm not like that and you know it" He sighs fighting the tears

"You want me to go with you to the airport?" You shook your head

"Spain just won the EURO's, your brother's a champion. You need to celebrate with him. I'll let you know whenever I land"

"Please, don't be a stranger" Fer whispers hugging you once again

"I won't, promise" You whisper kissing Fer's cheek.

You start walking before you turn around to watch Pedri laughing and smiling with his girlfriend by his side, he turns around and waves you over. You nod telling him you'll be there in a few minutes, he winks at you and you wink back at him. Soon, he turns around once more paying attention to the story his cousin is telling while you hurry to get out of the stadium.

You open your apartment watching all the packed boxes, his clothes laid on a box that Fer is meant to take later, your sister's helping you with everything and you know you shouldn't go there but you do. In there, lays the pink small bear he gave you at the feria, the small Barce shirt with the 8 fitting the bear in such an adorable way, you smile softly.

"This is ours"

"You won it for me so it's mine"

"I won it but I'm letting you have it everyday so it's ours"

You dig a bit more into the box and find the crystal sphere he gave you in Christmas, you shook it and watched the snow fall slowly

"You're a football player, of course you'll be faster than me!"

"Come on, mi corazón. I gotta give you your christmas present and if you're not fast enough santa's reindeer will take it away!"

You sigh moving your legs faster, running behind him "Liar!"

"So you don't believe in Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Vixen, Prancer, Cupid, Comet, Blitzen y Donner?"

"No?"

"Too bad they got me this for you" He lifts a bag

"You asshole making me run for it!" He laughs hard as you try to catch your breath "Did you seriously learned the whole 9 reindeer's names?"

"I did, for you. Yes"

You felt a tear coming down your eye, then you grabbed his 2002 hoodie, you were the first one to ever try a piece of clothing from his collection. You smiled remembering he gave it to you so you could fell asleep in his arms because of the thunderstorm

"Stop" The hoodie was ripped from your hands, you turned around to find your sister, Amelia. "You're only hurting yourself more"

"I can't help it, Meli" Your tears came out

"And that's why we're moving out. So you can pursue your dreams and forget about him"

"What if I don't?"

"You will, Y/N. I know you will"

You leaned down to pick your one year old dog, Zeus into your arms, he licked your tears away "Will I?"

"You will, now stop looking at those. We need to catch a flight"

"When is Fer picking these up?"

"Probably after the celebrations"

"Do you think he'll be mad at me?"

"Maybe he will, maybe he won't. But I know that you need to put yourself first from now on"

"Can I at least have something?"

"It wouldn't be ideal"

"Please, just one little thing and we'll go right away" Amelia sighs but either way nods. You turn around and grab a small bracelet he gave you a few years ago from his box; he's supposed to have the other half but he left it in your apartment some weeks ago before he left for Germany.

You looked at the pictures of you both from babies all the way to teenagers and to the young adults you were now. You sighed before turning around to face Amelia.

"We're ready" You grabbed your suitcases, Zeus's bag, leash and with one more look at your apartment you left, ready to stop hurting, ready to forget about an unrequited love and ready to start your new life.

DRDT Chapter 2 Episode 16: Initial Thoughts

That being said, oh my god, Chapter 2 is actually complete! This is so exciting! I'm really hyped to talk about this episode and give my not-live summary of my live reactions!

The Reactions

12-1, this time. I'm still personally partial to the extra vote on Teruko last Trial being Arei (being petty about her "I'm voting for you no matter what" thing), so I would assume Ace is the Teruko vote. If so, I do think it's interesting that he voted Teruko as opposed to, like, Nico. Then again, it might be that it's just more convenient for DRDTdev to consistently put the extra vote on Teruko, lol.

Notably, the dead people have "N/A," not 0. We probably could tell this because of Xander last time, but I didn't check. I wonder if this implies we won't ever need to vote for someone dead (ex. a mastermind who "died" earlier in the killing game).

I'm free... I can read whatever Eden says as genuine...

I do think it's funny/kinda telling? that Whit is only saying this after the trial is over. Like, I feel like the normal time to go "oh my god we're having another trial" is, like... when you find the body? So, it's interesting that his reaction is so delayed.

So, I don't know if this was an intentional parallel, but...

These feel similar to me. I really like the Ace/Arei parallels, where they're both chronically hated people, but Arei apologizes and tries to change whereas Ace lets the fear and paranoia consume him until there's no turning back. Ace only says this after he's already been found guilty of murder; Arei says this before promising to change her ways to the victim of her bullying.

Teruko out here hopping on that self-blame train.

It's so funny how different Hu's standards are when talking about Ace's murder vs. Nico's attempted murder. Like... Hu this is what everyone was telling you like an hour ago. What.

It's really interesting that we're highlighting this line. I wonder if this is part of a theme that we're going to explore further, maybe tied into the "all murderers have to be punished" thing. Or maybe Eden isn't actually accurate here, but doesn't know it; has Ace killed someone in the past?

When we first met Teruko a week ago, she was the same person, certainly, but she was also different. She was happier, and she trusted people more.

There are so many good character parallels in DRDT. The Ace/Teruko one was really interesting in this post-trial.

Ooh, new flavor of J anti-murder! This seems to be broadening it to also being critical of the killing game, which would go against my weird hypothetical "J is anti-murderer but also the mastermind" read.

It's interesting, with how this is Ace's logic. It makes total sense for his character, though. I think it's easy for us, the viewers, to forget the fact that the characters probably don't have the precedent of "every blackened ever always loses." When Ace is running the odds, he thinks his survival odds were better as a killer than as a participant in the killing game. And y'know, considering how close he came to dying as Nico's victim, that's kinda fair.

I desperately want to know what Levi was going to say here.

I really like the fact that Ace DID care about Levi. That he intrinsically cares about him, but he knows factually that he isn't supposed to like or trust someone in a killing game. That once he killed Arei, he had to resolve to kill everyone in the killing game, even Levi.

The only way Ace knew to prevent himself from caring was to stay mad, I guess. Kinda unfortunate though, considering that I do think Levi wanted to patch things up with him genuinely.

Meanwhile, Levi, who doesn't understand emotions, is just like "man what the fuck. That makes no sense."

What a pair. I'm sad we're not going to get to see their dynamic anymore :(

In other words, I'm back on the Levi survivor train baby! My biggest problem with it before was that I thought Ace was gonna survive and I didn't think Ace and Levi were both gonna survive, so now we're locking tf in!

This is fun! I always wonder why more people don't try stuff like this. Like... shoot your shot. You're gonna die otherwise, soooo...

I think it's really funny that Teruko is so fucking mad that she bullies Ace into action. Like, that's so fitting for both of them.

I like the spooky vibe MonoTV has for this post-trial, but I do hope we get our normal silly lil guy back next chapter. I like the MonoTV personality we see all the time. I'm gonna miss it if it just died like that :(

I am also squinting so hard at everyone's reactions through "who is the mastermind" goggles. Maybe I'll analyze them in a different post sometime.

Fascinating purpose. Not "to create despair." Not "to run the killing game until only one participant survives." To kill everyone.

Does this include whichever mastermind?

Why does whoever programmed MonoTV want to kill all of these people? Are they being punished for something?

This countdown sequence fucked me up. The tensions and emotions are so high. Even as someone who was confident that Teruko, at least, wasn't going to die no matter what, I was so on edge. I got really scared that Eden was going to take the hit for Teruko, though, and that's what I was reading into when I wasn't sure Eden would make it to Chapter 3.

This speech, more than any other one Teruko has made or any actions she's taken or endured, really made me feel for Teruko. The fact that she can so casually talk about truly traumatic and horrific things happening to her, while smiling, truly shows how much she's grown used to it. Like, girl. You don't deserve this. What.

The character work on Teruko especially this episode is just fantastic. No words.

This panel stressed me out so bad because it was really just a question of WHO took the bullet for Teruko. Like, if she's thinking this, someone clearly did.

My bets were on either Eden, Charles, or Ace.

Levi, though, was such a surprise to see. Like, in a good way. It means so much.

First of all, it's a callback to the end of the prologue. Levi attacks MonoTV, and when MonoTV tries to kill him in response, Teruko's danger sense alerts her. It's only through Teruko warning Levi to move that Levi dodged the main attack, resulting in only an arm injury rather than death. Now, Levi returns her favor, preventing her from dying from attacking MonoTV.

Second, it puts Ace into the position we see of having to confront the possibility of Levi's death. I got the distinct sense that they wanted Ace to be able to do something heroic on his way out, to prove all the haters wrong (which is why I thought it was possible he'd take the hit for Teruko instead of Levi). By putting Levi, pretty clearly the person he cares most about, into harm's way, it makes Ace take action. It means that he HAS to confront the fact that he cares Levi, and that he has to die.

And, thirdly... I am so fascinated to learn why Levi did this. Was it as simple as a transactional, "you saved me from execution before?" Is it "I thought saving someone would make me a good person?" Does Levi actually feel some remorse for Teruko in this moment, causing him to take action?

No matter what his reasoning, I can't wait to hear from him. I strongly suspect Levi won't actually die from this (at the very least, I hope not, because I really want to hear more from him), but even if he does, hopefully we'll still get some more insight in a bonus episode or a flashback or something.

I'm trying to figure out what triggered Whit here.

This is immediately following "The elevator won't open," but it also definitely can just correlate to "[person] will die if they don't receive immediate medical treatment." I have to assume that something here is reminding Whit of his mom...?

With the weird "Whit knows a lot about hanging" earlier, I got the impression that Whit's mom probably hung herself. From this, I would probably theorize that Whit found her while she was still alive, but not quickly enough to save her. Yikes.

Anyways, I think that means everyone has some kind of despair sprite now! That's fun!

I'm sure many have pointed this out, but do we think he's counting himself here (Arei + Ace + Levi = 3), or do we think he feels responsible for someone else's death in his past (probably Taylor)? I'd lean towards the second one.

Y'know, before I thought Arturo was just pressed about the surgeon thing because people were unfairly hating on him. This, at least, I think implies something relating to Felicity.

Arturo doesn't have any experience saving lives. He left, and Felicity died. He can't save lives; he's only responsible for Felicity's ending. I think that's how he sees it.

On a side note, I think there's a very definite possibility that Chapter 3 cold opens on Arturo saving Levi's life??? Like, how Chapter 2 started with Eden POV, I think Chapter 3 could start with Arturo taking his shot at healing Levi, eventually resulting in Levi stabilizing. I'm not sure who would be there with him. Possibly Hu, since she was leading the "let's get Levi to the infirmary" effort...?

I love executions like this. Accirax has said before that the best executions are what make their recipient feel the most despair, and that's definitely what they did with Ace here. Put the talent aside; fear is what Ace fears the most.

 Sibling rivalry was something everyone expected when having more than one child. And who especially expected it were the Greek gods. They even encouraged it. Sadly, for Hades, his children got along and refused to fight each other.

Usually, Nico would play mythomagic with them or just lazily exist in the camp. Only a few people would talk to him. But he is used to it now. That's why he was confused when they ran into the Hades cabin and suggested training with said two. He agreed nonetheless, not wanting to disappoint his last older sibling, and he also thought Percy was okay-ish.

That is why he was standing in the area, watching them absolutely beat Percy's ass. Annabeth was standing beside him but did not look very happy about what was happening. He can't blame her, he would not be either if the roles were reversed. Also, the Hades children weren't really known for their good temper, so it made sense.

So when Percy tapped out, he wasn't surprised. However, the girl next to him made her way to help her friend up.

“Close your mouth, flies gonna take it as an invite.” They said, slightly tapping his chin to close it. Nico glared at them but did not argue. they were covered in sweat and breathing heavily. Nico was sure it was from the sun, not the fight, as he dubs Percy would give it much. If anything they more likely only tickled each other with swords. Although he was warned, that activity can cause accidental stab wounds and immediate visit to the infirmary.

The other two campers joined them. Percy bleeding from his scratches and Annabeth frowns on her face. He knew it was his turn now. That's what they agreed on. He did not think putting him, a child of one of the 3, against Annabeth was fair. Granted, were it a few months back when he thought he had a crush on her, before releasing he had a crush on Percy, it would have been harder to fight her.

“Come on whip, it's our turn.” Says Annabeth and gestures her knives at him. Nico can only tighten his hold on the sword he was holding. He takes a few steps to face her.

“Annabeth.” Sounds behind him warningly. The girl in question just huffs before charging at him. He moved out of the way, but it was like she already knew his steps before him and stuck him in the leg.

He winced but kept on his feet. She charges again, but this time he manages to avoid and block her from sighting him. Annabeth did not like that. Not only she was a fast thinker, but Nico would also forget she had been trained by Luke, one of the best swordsmen in the last couple of hundred years. Annabeth strikes again and Nico has no time to even register what is going on. She slashes his Achilles. Nico yelps and falls, having no strength to put weight on his leg. Annabeth manages to get hold of his sword. She was not standing above him with the tip of his sword at his throat.

“Get up,” she says with a sinister smile. He won't admit it but he was scared for a moment. That was before Annabeth got slammed by his sibling and rolled away. Percy yelped in surprise and went to help Annabeth while the siblings helped each other. 

“What the fuck was that for?” Argued Annabeth once she regained her composure.

“You immobilized him! What the fuck do you mean get up!” His sibling yelled still kneeling next to him. Nico has sat up now, trying to move his leg but when pain shot up he decided against it.

“Monsters are not gonna hold back just because he can't stand!” Annabeth was now making her way to them. Percy was trying to stop her but was very unsuccessful.

“Monster my ass Annabeth. You knew very well what-” A roar cuts her off. All of them freeze in their spots. A rustling in the trees got their attention. A distant yell is what got them moving. Nico felt four arms lifting him.

His sibling and Annabeth were trying their best to get his limping ass away from whatever there was. Percy was surveying the area when he saw it.

“Fuck.” Was all that left him. there stood, an automatic bull, as big as the house. All of their eyes widened as they tried to hurry up. unfortunately, the bull has seen them and charged at them. Nico could feel his weight bearing but only on Annabeth as his sibling went to aid Percy in trying to distract the beast. He wanted to stop them, but he was no use at the moment.

Annabeth stops and props Nico on a tree.

“What are you doing?” He hisses and she just rolls her eyes.

“I'm going to help them.” She says making sure Nico is comfortable.

“You can't leave me here.” Nico could see that she took that as a challenge. before she could leave him however they both heard Percy yell. turning their attention to him they can see a giant boulder heading their way. Nico makes eye contact with his sibling before he feels something tackling him on the ground.

“NICO” Was all he heard before the world became black.

 When Nico came to his senses, he thought that perhaps, Dad pulled him aside, that maybe travelledow travelled. And Brehabs a small hope of seeing Bianca was there. However, when he heard his sibling absolutely destroying their vocal cords from the yelling, he knew he was mistaken.

Opening his eyes, above him stood a well-known Apollo kid, his name was Will or something like that. The light from his hands makes Nico turn his face away and to the side. Only to be faced with a comic view. Annabeth sitting on a bed having her hand looked after by a different Apollo kid. Percy is next to her, holding her other hand. And his sibling, going off on both of them, mostly Annabeth by the looks of it.  Annabeth's head was hung low, it was apparent that she got an earful from Percy beforehand.

Nico is enjoying the situation. Not only is he not getting reprimanded, but he is also getting taken care of by a cute guy. His freedom is shored, however, as Percy nudges the other Hades kid and points to him.

His sibling turns to him at lightning speed, when they see he's awake, they rush to him kneeling by the bed. He can see they are worried even when all of them are out of immediate danger. When they saw he was okay they jumped in for a hug. Will jumped back startled and Nico could only groan in pain. Letting him go just as quickly as they hugged him

“Sorry, I just. I just thought I would have to bargain with Dad.” They say with a smile on their face. Although tears were streaming down their faces making them look a little bit hysterical.

Nico smiled at them.

“I'm fine, I did not even see Dad.” He says, trying to reassure them that he in fact did not die and came back. They just chuckled and nodded.

They all sat in silence for a few minutes before Annabeth with Percy walked up to his bed.

“I'm sorry.” She says. Nico expected her to continue but she didn't. So Nico just nodded, taking in that they were all still startled by what happened.

Next to him, his sibling stood up. It was like a switch turned in in them. Manually they made both Percy and Annabeth sit down at the end of his bed. They took a deep breath before starting.

“I am lost for words!...”

And despite being lost for words, they continue to yell at them for the next 45 minutes. Nico would not want it any other way.

Nico would be bothered by having a sister that behaves so much like the guy he's liked for years. A constant reminder of the guy who could never like him.

Regardless, he would try to be good to her. He would never want her to feel abandoned, as he did so often.

He would try to teach her to survive on her own, to not need him. Everything could work out for both of them, right?

It does, until she starts intentionally having problems so he has no choice but to help her.

He starts to feel bad once he realizes what she's doing. Then it hits him. She could never be Bianca. But he could be her Bianca.

He'd teach her to shadow travel. He'd take her down to the underworld for family dinner.

He would make sure that Hades and Persephone were nice to her. He knew that she could absolutely handle them because she just couldn't give a shit about the gods, but he'd do it to take another thing off of her plate. The less she worries, the less he worries about her.

When she finds out that Nico liked Percy, she laughs at him. Definitely making fun of him for his taste.

Once Nico gets over Percy and gets with Will, she is a nuisance in the Apollo cabin. They're her new siblings.

She screams every time she enters the Hades cabin, announcing her presence. She walked in on Nico and Will making out one time and now she refuses to let them forget it.

He pretends to be annoyed by her, but really he finds her endearing. He even laughs at her jokes on occasion. Then she'll jump up and down, making sure everyone knows that she made Nico Di Angelo laugh.

He'll swat at her jokingly, but making sure not to actually hit her, not even lightly. He was born in the 30's. His mother definitely taught him to never raise his hand against a woman. He probably doesn't swear in her presence either.

She'd joke about all the terrible things that have happened to her. Though in the middle of the night, she'd wake up screaming from a nightmare. Nico would stay up all night with her, sitting in silence so she knows that she's safe. He wouldn't want to talk about it, but he would be there no matter what.

She'd act so mad at him when he goes to Tartarus both times. Slightly scared that he wouldn't come back, slightly upset that he didn't invite her. Very impressed that he survived Tartarus twice. She absolutely threatens to throw herself in to prove that she's just as strong as him.

"Do not. Our father will catch you before you even get to the underworld."

"Nah, he won't. If you could sneak past him, so can I."

"He let me through."

"So you admit that you couldn't have gotten past him?"

"That is not what I said."

She laughs, "Awh, little baby Nico can't get past his daddy!"

"I will send you down there permanently."

"You wouldn't. You love me"

This is literally an insane scene and I'm never letting anyone forget it

And also, here's why I won't let people tell me he's been nerfed, his power not only consumes a lot of energy but it also relies heavily on his suffering and anger, and I, for one would like him to become a happier person.

Also that last line is insane, Nico really said might as well go big if I'm going to die.

Nico's ability is legit put of a horror story, like damn, he made him bleed from both nostrils, he split the ground under his feet, made the area go so cold his breath was fogging. Insane

Dude became a judge of the underworld for a second there and I don't see enough people talking about that last linez that was cold af. (It would also maybe be good material for a Nico unknowingly ascending to godhood fic,just saying)

So, after seeing @half-shadowgalra's post about what if Bianca stayed alive, I thought of analyzing the topic. So, my take on what might change, following the details of canon I can remember:

Firstly, let us assume that Bianca accidentally drove Talos into the Labyrinth, and just got severe head trauma and amnesia instead of dying. Zoe, Percy and co, however, still think she died and continue under this assumption. What happens next?

Well, as far as I know, only one god might actually know Bianca is still alive - her father, Hades. Who, I might say, is not present for the Winter Solstice council and doesn't seem like he'll inform anyone. He would want his daughter safe, probably, so there's a chance he'll send Alecto to find her and bring her somewhere safe - possibly the underworld. No guarantee that the Erinyes would succeed, though.

As to what we see in canon... In his angry burst, Nico mentions feeling Bianca being judged in the underworld, and having nightmares. I'm going to have to assume his nightmares will be altered. And, well... This certainty of her death, which was another sign of them being children of Hades, will likely not exist. How will it change things? Well, I think Nico will still be angry at Percy and consider him guilty of Bianca's death. Maybe. After all, the lack of certainty he had in another timeline can't actually help him realize Bianca is alive. He can't know he would've felt it if she died - even if he started feeling such things, he probably didn't understand that well enough yet. He might have some doubts, though. That's still a minor change, all things considered.

Next time Bianca's death affects the plot is the Iris-net messages. However, we might need to explore first what happened to Bianca. Especially since she not only fell into one of the most dangerous pieces of magical architecture, she did so in a time it was being explored by a whole bunch of people. At any given moment, she could encounter Luke's forces, Clarisse, Daedalus or one of the creatures looking for her. So, you're Bianca Di Angelo, daughter of Hades, who's trapped in a maze underground and have amnesia. What can you do?

Well, I think her bow and arrows are either right beside her or a summon away - the latter is going to be problematic, because she doesn't remember how to summon them. She'll probably have her hunting knife. Oh, and did I mention that she won't remember her training, whatever amount she had?

I don't think canon gives us much indication on what she might do in such a situation. Part of the question is how much she forgot. And since we're makeing this up anyway, we can go for the option we find the most fun! Oh, and I forgot Nico is joining everyone in the Labyrinth pretty quickly. Either way, I think I'll go (regarding her memories) with forgetting everything except for her brother. And English, though it will be fun to have her speak some Italian dialect for some time. Oh, and her name. Easier that way.

So, Bianca wakes up in a cave. She only remembers her name and that she has a brother called Nico. Who is, for some reason, not present. She hears weird sounds and runs away from them.

Now here's another bit: we don't know what Bianca's powers include beyond the ability to permanently kill skeletal warriors. Incidentally, we have another canonical Pluto kid who can control caves. Now sure, Hazel and Nico supposedly have between them Hades' two dominions: riches and death. No reason to keep them separate, however. Bianca can have some power over underground spaces. We have seen Hazel interact with the Labyrinth in the House of Hades, even manipulate it - though she was using magic instead of demigod powers, so we can't be sure if someone with similar powers but no magic could do it. I do think it's possible, though - especially without anyone directly resisting her. It'd be mostly instinctive and unintentional, though, so there's no telling where it would lead her.

Now, where would Bianca find herself? It's hard to tell. Everyone goes through the arena eventually, but it takes time. Bianca can get to many places, Camp Half-Blood included as well as Geryon's farm or the underworld. There really is no telling. Meanwhile, Nico is looking into ways to find his sister and bring her back. Does he realize she's alive? Or does he still try to learn from Minos? As far as I know, we were never told how he made his way to the underworld. Did Hades send Alecto to collect him? If so, does that mean we'll have a family reunion sooner rather than later? Or maybe does Bianca inadvertently run away from it in effort to stay alive and, ironically enough, find her brother?

One possible change would be that when Hades gets Nico, he tells him (at some point) that his sister is still alive. Not in an attempt to console him - Hades doesn't really know about that - but as a throwaway line when Nico mentions her death. I think I can picture that. Nico still runs away, but this time to find his living sister - all that assuming he somehow got to Hades' palace in the time between the Titan's Curse and the Battle of the Labyrinth. In such a case, he might not turn to Minos, which would significantly change BotL. So... Maybe the best option here is Nico not getting to Hades' palace/Hades being too secretive about it all.

Now, no Percy Jackson story is complete without old myths underlining events: Percy isn't compared to Heracles for naught, there are a couple of parallels between them - at least in monster slaying and such things. Sadly, I can't say I'm an expert in Greek mythology, and I'm not sure I know enough to create a story paralleling any myth. So, I kind of hope someone more experienced could come and give a fitting story - only thing I can think of right now is Atalanta, the huntress who took a vow of virginity, joined the Argonauts for a time and participated in the hunt for the Calydonian boar, drawing first blood and thus winning the boar's hide - which eventually lead to much strife. Now, one would think this boar was used in the past, like in tTC - but nope, it was a different boar, so I'm sure having some taste of the Atalanta myth could work. Kind of. Maybe, somehow, I don't know.

So, Bianca is dealing with her own stuff. Maybe, because I just thought of it, she can also have a taste of Cadmus' story - the guy looking for his disappearing sister who went on to found a city instead. I'll have to think about it for a bit, especially since I think both Atalanta and him had a weird "happily ever after in animal form" thing. Cadmus and his wife became snakes, while Atalanta and the husband she eventually did marry (thus breaking her vow of virginity, though the consequences were somehow unrelated) were turned into lions. Huh.

Anyway, she deals with that while running away from Alecto. Nico tries to find a way to reassure his sister while Minos hides the fact she's actually still alive from him. And maybe Bianca encounters Luke.

Now, the repercussions of Bianca being alive include Percy not getting the Iris-net calls about Nico. Which would mean that, if they meet in Geryon's farm, Percy has no way to convince Nico that Bianca doesn't want what he does. Which leaves us at an impasse, so Nico would head out with Minos straight away... Probably. Here's the thing: Bianca being down there means she can be found by someone. I think Clarisse isn't a good option for that, though. So, what if Luke found her? Would she join him? Or be killed? Well, obviously not the latter, we didn't save her so that someone else might kill her. But since we want her as a hero, we'd prefer her not to serve the titans, right?

So, after some thought: maybe she got to the arena and was forced to compete. Her fighting talent was promising, so Luke suggested she join them. And then... I think she run.

This is just a vague outline, and you may have noticed this is stream of thought writing. So, umm... well, I can only say that next she's probably told to give up the search for her brother and follow a cow, which probably should lead her to the huntresses, but instead of following it she'll keep looking and will find Nico, because I honestly don't like how easily Cadmus gave up on Europa just because the oracle told him. Curses be upon Zeus. Coming to think of it, the myth of Cadmus might fit well with the theme of BotL, because Cadmus is Minos' uncle. Yeah, it's all still stream of thought.

Bianca will probably meet Nico before the whole "king of ghosts" fiasco. I think this should affect the larger story, but I'm not sure how. So, umm... Let's leave it here for now?

So, a suggestion to a more organized outline: Bianca is in the Labyrinth. She runs away from some monster and accidentally finds herself in the company of some half-bloods loyal to Kronos. At first she journeys with them and they slay monsters together. However, after having drawn first blood from a very strong monster, some of the half-bloods became angry at her for hurting their egos or something? So she run away from them? Then she gets the magical cow, maybe Alecto finds her, and then she continues to search for her brother, who she maybe finds on the verge of killing someone to bring her back to life.

I might try to write it at some point, but I'm not very good at finishing stories. So, I guess we'll see.

Regret. Eden clings to a regret she has in the outside world, so tightly that she seeks release from the pressure of the Killing Game. She killed out of desperation.

Why should I own up for the mistakes that someone else made?

Nico hated the victim. Their resentment boiled over and they compulsively organized a murder for the victim.

I don’t know what to do with myself anymore.

Ace was terrified of dying so he killed in order to escape. Having seen his life flash before his eyes, he now clings to life more desperately than before.

I want to pay for what I’ve done. But even then, I still want to live.

Hu killed for the sake of living itself. A desperation to cling to something which has been fleeting for her entire life. She was given a reason to live by the killing game itself and she won't let go of it now that she finally has it.

Once something is broken, it can never be pieced together in quite the same way again. The same goes for people.

Veronika was bored. The killing game wasn't up to her entertainment standards, so she wanted to spice things up.

In the end, the only thing I can do is watch my wretched life go on.

Rose was exhausted. Her nightmares, memories, the present and the future all blended into one and Rose lost her sense of reality. Without even realizing what she was doing, Rose killed the victim.

J killed the victim for the sake of vengeance. This group threw & disregarded her problems, so why should she give a crap about them? She clearly doesn't matter to them.

my thoughts on the new episode as always, as I am currently losing my shit lol. I know a lot of people dislike me after last ep when I spoke up about my thoughts, but this time I'm ready to be more mature about it.

1. I love the Hu argue uhhh thingy! I forgot what it's called ngl! I love her and Nico's new sprites too, they were really all amazing and conveyed so much emotion!

And then Hu said this 💀

genuinely insane analogy to make here. I'm sorry, but that was actually insanely uncalled for imo.

2. I think everyone forgot Hu's custom weapon is wire, (if you realized and predicted this, huge props to you), and I did not expect Nico to try and frame Hu for murder like that. NicoHu divorce arc when??? Just kidding, but they're much more cruel then I originally thought. I completely understand trauma from not being accepted as the person you are which was likely in the form of bullying/abuse, but I was genuinely surprised that they really try and murdered Ace just because they didn't like him and they didn't want to go through that again. Very interesting. I also feel very bad for Hu, because she's poured her heart into trying to protect Nico, and even though her methods are EXTREMELY flawed, it must hurt to know someone you really tried to help would try to frame you for murder. This makes me wonder if Nico felt Hu was a threat to their sense of self like Ace was, if they were going to try and pin a murder on her. I'm glad Charles and J told Hu to shut up though, because she was becoming unreasonable. I really hope things turn out the best for her though, because it's clear she's coming from a place of kindness, even if her kindness is mostly self-serving.

3. As much as I don't really like the guy, I'm very glad to have seen Ace pop off. Everyone has treated him like shit, and even if he's treated everyone like shit back, he did not deserve to be almost murdered and then for people to just not care. I really hope Ace ends up making a friend if he isn't the killer, because he really deserves someone to care about him the way mostly everyone in the cast already has someone.

4. They both make very good points here. I think Ace deserves an apology, but a real one.

5. "of course I regret doing it, I'm not Levi" - Nico

THATS ACTUALLY INSANE- but that may be my favorite line of the ep. I'm glad Nico regrets the crime though, because I was scared for awhile they didn't and there might be another incident of the same thing again. This makes me think they won't try and kill again, but it's drdt so you never know, and I think they're a definite threat if they get provoked to that point so easily.

6. I feel so bad for Rose, but let me say, dare I say, I think Whit asking if Rose is okay might've been the sweetest thing Ive ever seen. A lot of people tend to forget that Whit is actually very compassionate, so I'm glad to see that part of him shine through again. Rose is so human, and I think she may be the most realistic character I've ever seen portrayed in a fangan. A lot of characters are able to just get back up after a murder, but she's stuck, and I think I would be the same way. Unfortunately there's zero mental health professionals (obviously, cause they all need to be in a ward) in drdt, but I hope that she maybe can come to cope in a healthier way with what's going on around her, because she doesn't deserve this mess. I didn't actually realize before that the cast had put her on a bit of a pedestal due to her amazing memory, but it makes sense. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I hope that Rose comes to peace with the turpentine and the tape thing because it really isn't her fault and that she can get help for her trauma due to Min and Xander, and Teruko's almost death. No matter how much people expect her to memorize a crime scene, she's human, and we all take things at much different paces.

Hey David, didn't Whit teach us that trauma is a serious thing? You know I've been defending this guy a bit because of how he helped Eden and how I think he's trying to do what's right, but NEVERMIND. Because what the actual fuck is wrong with him to say something as messed up as these two statements. Rose and Arturo do not owe you anything, and they deserve to heal healthy, and at their own pace.

8. Teruko defending Rose was not in my ch2 trial bingo card, but oh my god, that really is sweet. I think Teruko really has started to change from talking with Rose.

I'm running out of images so I can't include her monologue, but it genuinely makes me happy she's starting to get some sort of character development. She really deserves it, and Charles really deserved being so fucking right about being social, lol. Also Teruko thanking Rose with that genuine smile on her face- brought me to tears. I hope they become friends :)

9. Ace and Eden, huh? To be honest, I'm completely torn and I can't see it being either one of them, but then again, I can't see it being anyone. I know so many people are complaining about not having a culprit reveal this ep, but I'm fine. I could wait another year and a half for the reveal. Actually, I don't think we need one at all. Maybe the true drdt is the friends we made along the way. Maybe it's better to choose delusion that nobody could've done it than it to have been Ace or Eden. Maybe, I killed Arei.

Teruko handled this whole situation super well, I was very impressed with her. Obviously you can't rule Eden out as the killer and Teruko explained that, but she was so compassionate and understanding about it that it made me cry. I never thought I'd say this, but here's a Teruko W. As for Eden pleading... I wish I could say more and I'm sure I'll be able to later, but it's just so likely she could be the culprit that I can't take anything she says at face value rn, and I was having trouble empathizing with her. Of course that's just my take, and I have already chatted with others who felt the whole scene was just a heartwarming experience, and that makes me really happy. This being said, the fact Teruko immediately turned to Ace as her main suspect TOOK ME OUT. I feel so bad for him he has literally done nothing but be suspicious to warrant this, while Eden is at the same level of suspicion. I really like that Teruko is playing favorites now, because Eden's been so good to her all this time.

-You hesitantly hold onto Will’s hand unsurely, looking into his eyes. “You’re sure you want to do this?” you ask gently. Sure you were the one who had offered the idea to him but now you were doubting it… It could end up making things worse.

-Will gives your hand a reassuring squeeze. “I’m sure…” He says taking a breath as he looks at you with determination in his eyes. You hesitate but seeing he was serious you nod with that, taking a breath and closing your eyes to focus. -You can hear the rattling around you, see the lights flickering and then the bulbs burst. You work on lighting a candle since it was now pitch black, and sure enough there was Michael Yew. He was looking around confused as if he had woken from a long nap. -”Michael..” Will chokes out before running over and hugging him tightly. Micheal jumps a bit in surprise since Will was taller than him at this point. Michael tenses for a few seconds but sighs as he seems to remember gently patting his back. “Why’d you have to go get taller than me?” he complains.

-Will can’t help but laugh at that, tears going down his face. “Really? That’s the first thing you say to me!” he complains but the two of them share a laugh. Will spends the time he has with Michael to explain everything, from how he became counselor to how the war went and most importantly how Michael was a hero for telling Percy to bring down the bridge. 

-That being the last thing Will was able to tell Michael before he passed away once more. But this time Michael had a smile on his face giving Will a last ruffle of his hair before he faded away once more.

-You look at Nico hesitantly but he gives you a nod to show he was ready. With his confirmation you close your eyes, take a breath and let your power flow. The lights pop and go out and as you light a candle sure enough there she was.

-Maria Di Angelo stood there looking around in a sleepy daze. Nico steps up first looking at her as if she was some distant dream, but despite that hope flickers in his eyes. “Ciao mamma.” Nico says gently voice soft and vulnerable. Her eyes fall onto Nico as she seems to study him.

-But a soft smile creeps onto her face as she looks to Nico with love going over and gently cupping his cheeks, Nico instantly nuzzling into her hands weakly. “Oh mio bambino…” She whispers gently to him.

-The two of them sit and talk in Italian, you couldn’t make out most of what they were saying but you could tell they were having an intense conversation. Maria nodded along to the stories her son told chiming in now and again.

-All the while she held his hand rubbing gentle and soothing circles onto his palm. But of course all good things come to an end and you are running out of energy. Maria seemed to notice placing a gentle kiss on Nico's forehead.

okay, so i said fuck you to my exams and here i am.

from what i know about lando after seeing him for years, is that sometimes he just needs someone to tell him that he did a good job. we've seen in interviews from when he was younger that he praised himself when no one else would, and while that appeared arrogant to some, i think it just shows that he needs to hear the words "you did good."

the only time this season where he properly praised himself was baku. every time else, he's been critical of himself, despite getting pole positions and whatnot.

nico and jenson both have said that they see a lot of themselves in lando because they used to self criticise a lot more than needed. there have been articles which specify that when carlos and lando were teammates, carlos used to often tell lando that he did a good job in a race, regardless of whether it was a shit one or not.

while this could be andrea's way of manipulation to get oscar to be more in the spotlight as the better driver, i'd argue that it's not working much, because the numbers speak for itself.

i also think that the main difference between andrea and zak is that andrea only offers criticism, whereas zak actually praises lando and is proud of him. there have been speculations that lando performs better when zak is around, and i do believe some of it, because lets not forget that zak was the one who found lando and believed in him and said that lando has what it takes to be in f1. thats part of the reason why lando has stayed in mclaren for so long. i am neutral towards zak, i hate him somedays, i love him somedays. but from a driver perspective and a team perspective, zak seems to be the only one to actually praise lando for every time he's done a good job, and i don't think he's praised oscar as much.

while i like to think that it brings a certain balance for the two drivers, zak cannot come for every race and question the strategies being used or the team orders being used, and i do believe that andrea takes advantage of that fact.

lando needs to improve his starts. he's aware of that. singapore, he led all laps, and i think that a lot of it has to do with max f being there. max gives him that positive reinforcement, and gives him that encouragement that lando requires. he's aware that he's shit at starts, but the difference between "don't fuck up your start" and "you can do it, mate, just breathe and give it your all" has a huge impact.

again, something completely different could be happening behind closed doors, but from a fan pov, this is what ive seen.

in the sprint, i like to think that the reason lando's start was so good, was because he knew he wanted to repay that favour to oscar, and the only way he could do it was by actually being p1. using that as a motivator, he drove exceptionally.

while im not saying that lando needs appreciation 24/7, i do believe that he needs to hear it from a third person, someone who knows racing, someone who can give an unbiased opinion, that he did do a good job.

carlos played a huge role in that when they were teammates, and i think he still plays a huge role in that now that they're not teammates.

when it comes to oscar, i 100% believe that he will be wdc one day. i am not denying that, i fully wish for the day he gets wdc. but from what we know right now, in this season, is that he's not performing as well as you would expect in the fastest car. his defence is amazing, yesterday's sprint and baku confirmed it. but it seems that he's unable to create gaps, or do well in qualifying, and that's something he needs to learn. im sure he's aware of where he's going wrong, but if he's not, and if he's continuously being coddled by andrea, and mark, and whoever, he won't improve, and he won't deliver.

wdc mentality is one thing. performance holds a higher place than mentality. if people want to argue that oscar's got the wdc mentality, i agree. he's got it, he will do it. but he's lacking in his performance. for the sake of the arugment, if we say that lando doesn't have wdc mentality, he makes up for it in his performance.

yes, he's not as good as max or lewis. but, he adapted this season, and he knows now what its like to be front and centre. he's been out qualifying his teammates since his rookie years, so his performance is completely wdc material. i'd like to see that kind of performance from oscar as well. and the only way he can achieve it is if someone sits him down and actually tells him what he's doing wrong and where he can improve. i don't mean that someone should just point out every mistake possible. i mean that someone needs to guide him on the right track of improvement.

this caught my eye, so i'll focus on it first before circling back to your point surrounding lando.

oscar is not wdc material. not yet. and people may see this as me being against him, but i am the furthest from that and, in fact, i see him developing into such in the future.

i do have a theory that, one part to play in this extrapolation of his performance by fans, is the fact that we've associated him with a former, legendary driver on the grid. some fans may be subconsciously holding him to that high degree because there is some sort of alignment with him and kimi, and so people are already thinking he is there, when he is not.

also adding unto that, i just believe that people put oscar on such a high pedestal, in a way to put lando down. i've got many friends irl that think oscar is the better driver, and they have not given me any substantial evidence as to why they believe that (because it's... not true, simple as.) other than "i don't like lando" or "lando's not wdc material" (i.e. countering instead justifying).

and yes, i know not everyone is going to like every driver, but this is a constant thing i'm seeing in the media, the recurring 'putting lando down to put oscar up' and i'm really over it.

lando's entire performance this season, compared to how last sesaon went for him, is insane. and we should give him kudos for that. oscar, on the other hand, isn't meeting the gravity of praise he gets. i won't lie and say he hasn't performed good at all, he wouldn't be 4th if that was the case, but, he has a staggering 4-19 qualifying h2h against lando, literally worse than his rookie season despite being in a better car, and, as you said, there is so much more improvement to make.

he's in his 2nd year of f1, he's got a long way to go, and there's no need to rush him into too much, too soon. that will feed his ego, and perhaps it is already, and make him too big for his boots.

now, on the whole 'wdc mentality thing', it's not unknown that entire community's view on what a world champion should be is very misconstrued, and quite frankly, fueled by toxic masculinity.

(not at all claiming you're with those that say he isn't wdc material, it's just something i need to confront.)

lando doesn't need to be particularly hard-headed or over-confident to be seen as wdc potential. his performance speaks volumes, and for someone that has persisted through so much hardship bestowed on him from f1 fans, the media, and his own tp, that in itself is enough for him to be championship material. some drivers wouldn't be able to handle that, and it's not as easy as people may think because we are not in his shoes.

it really sickens me when that is brought up, because everyone deserves what they're putting in hard work for. it doesn't matter how you are: if you're more shy and introverted, or more upfront and assertive, and the idea that only those like the latter have the right to earn their dreams is... myopic. backward.

everyone needs to cut lando a lot of slack, whilst also giving oscar more constructive criticism. on top of the whole to bias, f1 is way more fan engagement oriented now. we interact with drivers a lot more, have closer access to them through comment sections on instagram and tiktok. tweets are the easiest things for drivers to see, and thus, fans coddling oscar also has a part to play, too. i don't have any grounds to be sure that oscar takes opinions (good or bad) to heart like lando openly does, but to some degree, every driver will either bask in the praise, or wallow in the pity the hate brings them. oscar seeing the levels of positive reinforcement he gets, as opposed to lando, even with how palpable the difference in their performance is, will make him continue to revel in said praise and it'll do nothing but increase his satisfaction with his current driving.

to end on a happier note, i'm ever so glad that lando's support system is unwavering. max f being there on stream to encourage lando and take his mind off things, and also keegan being present with lando yesterday at qatar is miles better than mclaren has been doing. i hope, really really really hope, that they stand beside him through it all and that andrea stella grows a braincell or two and realises that this 'badass'/'never satisfied' persona he's trying to cultivate is more damaging than beneficial.

turns out, they didn't go to singapore earlier as they planned to do. carlos flew back to spain with his parents, leaving charles alone in hotel room with a complex feeling. internet has been speculating lately, about how... how charles' image as too nice, too friendly, too happy-- accusation spiraling around that it is just a facade.

charles still laying down on his bed , carlos' bed, that is long cold. he waits and scroll, scroll again through infinity thread.

'what the fuck is wrong with carlos' he thoughts.

or maybe they didnt like him as much as carlos do. maybe whatever this thing between him and carlos is wrong. maybe nico rosberg words true though, he speaks his jealousy.

is he? is charles jealous of carlos? the realization sinking deeper into charles heart and mind. he didn't-- but at same he is- but carlos never been in monza podium before so it's fair. and charles is truly , beamingly, happy to see his teammate on top of monza. he is not jealous, no charles is capable enough to separate on off the track.

and now it's already lunch time. arthur rumaging his clotes, go back and forth towards living room and kitchen, find something to fill the stomach before touching down the track

ah yes., karting for jules is held today and the reason why charles standing in the kitcen because...

what was it again? oh right, he need to toss the pasta, well yep shit, it's dry now. carlos used to pour a cream milk and hot water to the pasta while adding some herbs, that is what make the pasta so chewy and tender. so he grabs a glass and pouring the amount of water then a milk, letting it simmer until he felt the texture is just right.

he hummed at his creation. savory and creamy. the spices kicked his mouth deliciously. maybe for carlos, it's too spicy. but it doesn't stop him cooking for charles, every night, every little chance they had, it always goes like: carlos with grill pan and the steak smokes all around him while charles sitting down the counter, ready to annoy him with sauce or eating the dish, making carlos snarked then they will bantering with each other. lucky for charles, sometimes carlos could fuck him over this counter, letting his come painted the walls or some of them might be decorating their food. carlos said it's delicious anyway, charles might think it gross but what's the different than getting swallowed a whole?

he chuckled at his own thought, and remember something

charles breath hitched as a new message from carlos comes like a bolt of lightning. it's wednesday evening and charles started to worry if they will never talk about this. but patient always has it's own rewards.

charles stunned to watch the marina bay building from his car.

charles hummed, but it's true. singapore become more beautiful each year. andrea doesn't understand how beautiful singapore is to charles. and he thinks about the secret they kept in this country, sounds like an exclusiveness, charles loves it. he wonders if carlos feels the same.

so it is time to meet him then.

marina bay pool, midnight

carlos already sitting on the pool only with his swimming trunk when charles came to the highest floor. carlos and citylight infront of him, glorious, carlos and race track, magnificent, carlos gives him a side glance to him, endearing.

he smiled at his own idea before standing up beside him and

"ppfttt cahlos!" charles, soaked like a cat, still wearing full pajamas clothes. it not fair, he groans while looking at carlos who laughed at him.

"baby" carlos try to reach charles waist but before he could grasp any hems of charles's strings, the monegasque jump over and drowning both of them.

carlos wraps his arms in his waist, meanwhile charles hands find a grips in carlos' shoulder. they gave up and swim up to the surface.

he didnt know if he should laugh or take a breath first but they did both at the same time and ended up coughing. so so stupid.

"don't" charles gasping for a breath but still anchoring himself to carlos' neck

his teammate laughed and bring him into a soft kiss.

"sorry, i..." he stutterd as fingers shaking against charles' cheek. charles covers carlos' hands with his own, smoothering his hair hands slowly until the finger stop shaking.

"i've been thinking about the future how will i purposed you, how big or small our wedding goes, and yet here i am being so stupid that i can't even understand you, be with you, convince you that i love you."

charles stunned at carlos confession, "married..? you want to--"

but charles thinks about many possibilites of their position now. which is zero for them to come out as a couple. it is not a strategical condition from the team where they are still have a poor perfomance, it is not beneficial for carlos because of his on hold contract, and still controversial for their sponsors.

fighting on track against carlos is exhausting but fighting off the track with carlos is more mentally worn-out.

"how about you?" charles asked, mumbling his face against carlos' neck

"i'll make it up for you. let's have a city tour right now. i heard there is night market that is very delicious."

charles blinks twice, right now? "date right now? like,, this in the midnight?"

he felt a warm washing his body, "yes charles. right now. lets go somewhere. we have plenty place to explore in singapore." carlos, for the first time they meet again, giving him a fond smile.

"but, people will see us. your parents must be watching you--"

"fuck them. i want to be with you. to spend a proper couple date with you."

charles could feel another tears building again but now, it's a happy one. one step being in public. slow but sure.

"okay" he breathes out. "help me change my clothes please?" charles wiggle his brows, creating a laughter from carlos

sooner or later the world will now about them. sooner or later, charles will happy showing of the golden band that sit comfortable in his fourth finger. sooner or later he can walk hand in hand with carlos. but right now, the public only see their shoulder brushing against each other while they walked in orchid pedestrian street. carlos' parents might be seen the picture of his son feeding up charles the best kaya toast he ever tasted. later in the morning, rupert and andrea will scold them for sneaking out the hotel like a petulant child.

but above them all, singapore has witnessing their love oath. the country saw laughter, kisses, and tears they shared. five years ago they present themself to each other and singapore was watching them

and now, it is become the only secret they shared together. is sort of an exclussiveness. charles and carlos decide to keep it longer for a moment. and when they ready to state it publicly, singapore have to be the only place. it is.
