AKA a random Most to Least likely list with random SFW and NSFW scenarios I thought of. AKA a quick writing exercise to get me back in the groove.

Felix, Jisung, Hyunjin - The three most likely to ask you if youd still love them if they were a worm. They love debating random scenarios. "Would you prefer to fight 100 tiny spiders or 1 massive spider?" Will think about their answer as if its a real life situation.

Changbin, Chan - Dont just randomly ask questions out of the blue, but when it gets dark and its quiet, they might be the kind to ask deep thoughts. "Do you think there's life after death?" Also more likely to humor you if you ask them a random silly question.

Seugmin, Minho, Jeongin - Most likely to just google whatever questions they might have. They'll have deep thoughts here or there, but you'll only ever hear them after they've come to their own conclusions. Will not indulge you with silly questions.

Get shy when you compliment them:

Chan - Full on hides his face, gets all red, smiling like the cutie he is. Cannot take a compliment to save his life.

Jisung, Jeongin, Seungmin - Wont get overly shy, but they will enjoy it greatly. Will try to play it cool, but deep down, you know they're blushing, kicking their feet and giggling.

i do not know how to write smut at all. this is my first and perhaps only attempt.

Finally got around to drawing Élodie! The last artwork i did makes her look scary lol but shes a cutie pie trust me.

Some info about her:

She does ballet. She dislikes it though, and only does it because she’s forced to. She doesn’t want to be under the spotlight doing the jumps and twirls. Rather, she wants to be the one behind the camera lens, the one over the keyboard writing article after article about ballet.

Her hobby is photography. Her parents dont approve, but her older brother helps her out by getting her an early internship at the magazine where he works. Through this internship is where she will first meet adrien.

She’s a mean ass bitch lol. Has absolutely zero friends because she hates everyone at school. Alya specifically hates her the most because when she came up to Élodie to ask her if she wanted to help her with the school paper (since she knows the girl also likes journalism), Élodie just gave her a rude look and walked away, earning alyas scorn ever since haha

This isnt just some quirk, its one of her biggest problems, along with her temper. She sees people as nuisances and beneath her, ignoring the fact that she needs people in her life. Her journey —aided by her kwami— will be to be truer to herself, and learn tolerance and altruism, and be more accepting of people’s friendship.

Her favorite thing in the world is chocolate. Its an actual obsession, something her parents dont approve of (shocker) because she “has to keep her figure”. But she ignores them, and keeps a stash of it on her at all times.

So basically, élodie is from my enhance mlb au thats been spinning in my head recently. It’s basically a mix of early seasons miraculous and concept mlb.

Here are the things i changed/added (when it comes to the heroes):

I always thought that lb’s miraculous ladybug power shouldnt be exclusive to her, so i removed it in favor of bringing back her concept powers (the shapeshifting yoyo). In the case of cn, i gave him his old power of black hole because why the hell does he have one power????

But this poses a problem— who will cleanse the akumas? Thats where élodie comes in!

For context, in this au Ladybug and Chat Noir are WAYYYY more chaotic:

Ladybug is still the planner, but her plans are way crazier and confusing to carry out. She gets so caught up in her imagination and idea of a plan, that she fails to consider what might happen if it goes wrong.

Chat Noir is more destructive, more trigger happy with his cataclysm. He finally gets to be free of his dad breathing down his neck and he’ll he damned if he won’t enjoy it!

Élodie as Cigognelle will be the mediator between them. She makes sure the balance is kept, and that they dont blow up the world while theyre trying to save it. That is the purpose of the crane miraculous. It has the power of reguvination and longevity. The balance is preserved, lengthened, and anomalies are corrected.

Its power of increasing its holder’s lifespan made it a favorite of guardians, including Master Fu.

Its kwami, Xiann, is wise and all knowing, often picking his own holders. He sees potential in them, and aids them into becoming true cranes — true upholders of the balance between creation and destruction.

To summarize, here are the big 3’s powers. There will be primary, secondary, and passive powers for each.

Ladybug:

Primary: Lucky Charm, gives the holder clues to help them win the battle. Same as the og.

Secondary: bug bomb/shield/staff. Its in the name, the holder can transform the yoyo into one of these weapons. They can only transform it once each battle, so ladybugs must carefully choose which one will aid them. This doesn’t mean it cant go back to its og form, just that it cant turn into a bomb AND a shield in the same battle.

Passive: grants good luck to its holder. No downsides, ladybugs really are just blessed.

Oh and for fun lets give them side effects.

Side effect: holders become far more tired in the winter, sleeping longer.

Black Cat:

Primary: Cataclysm, destroys anything the holder touches, turning it into dust. Also no change.

Secondary: Black hole. The black cat holder can teleport objects from one black hole to the next. Only two black holes can be present at the same time.

Passive: grants bad luck to its holder. This causes a lot of strife for the holders, but once they learn to accept their miraculous the bad luck will lessen, though never fading.

Side effect: black cats become more nocturnal after becoming the holders of this miraculous, and may or may not have a strange fascination with small, moving objects…. (They have enough self restraint to not chase after them though…)

Crane:

Primary: Ameliorate, which heals all damage caused by unnatural forces, such as kwami powers. However, if the damage from the fight happened too long ago, it will be considered a part of the natural environment, and will only restore future damage up to that point.

Secondary: Gust. Allows the holders to create powerful wind gusts with a flap of their “wings”. Only three gusts can be created each battle (because i had to give this power a downside)

Passive: extends its holder’s lifespan by 20 and up to 40 years. Depending on how long it takes the crane holder to become a true crane, their life span will either increase by a bit (if they learn sooner) or by a BUNCH (if its later).

Side effect: lying becomes way harder, and honesty — especially to oneself — will be all that the holders can say. Also, cranes often find themselves becoming more sociable after gaining their miraculous, which is often a shock since most cranes start of as quite antisocial.

All three can cleanse akumas but only the crane can restore damage !

* Just like with the skater headcanon he has to watch from the sidelines

* Tho as an act of service (hc: his love language) he cleans your skates, makes sure they are up to code and sharpens them.

* Like with Thomas back in they’re childhood he helps you practice by changing the ground into ice.

* I would say Kua liang is decent at figure skating. Not disastrous like Bi han but also not 10/10 like Thomas

* He enjoys just skating in circles slowly while talking to you

* Just make sure to help him if he ever falls down so that he doesn’t melt the ice out of embarrassment

* He tries to attend every competition that your in but if he’s busy he leaves some flowers and a note for you

* Is the most supportive partner ever gives hugs, kisses, praises and so on after shows.

*As stated in Kuai liangs sections he’s a GOD at figure skating, it’s practically his secret talent

* Both of you tend to get competitive and try to out do each other

*He sometimes overdoes the spins in an effort to win against you and makes himself dizzy

* During his childhood would pleade with Bihan to turn the ground to ice so he could practice (Bi han caved but then messed with Thomas and made him fall)

* Like Kuai liang he tries to show up to every competition that your in. Even makes those supportive homemade posters

* He tends to embarrass you sometimes but it’s out of love so you can’t get mad at him.

* If you compete in any skating competitions your trophies go next to his

* He even sometimes cleans them for you

* Is always posting pictures or videos of either you performing or practicing to his socials

* You now have stan accounts dedicated to you and your carrier thanks to him

* If he ever has to play a roll that includes figure skating your phone better NOT be on silent because your the first person he’s calling up

* Takes you ice skates and costume shopping and yes he does get you custom everything as a surprise

* I feel like Raiden is less than average when it comes to figure skatting

* He doesn’t fall on his ass all the time but he still has to use a skating aid or hold on to you

* Like Kuai liang likes just slow skatting around the ring and talking or in silence while taking in your presence

* After competitions takes you to Madam Bo’s even if you didn’t win he still wants to show that you should still be proud of yourself

* Once your done with practice if he sees that your cold he gives you his jacket and always carries a thermos with hot tea to keep you warm.

Ok with that outta the way, I made the horrific mistake of continuing my rewatch of op yesterday afternoon and finished marineford which is not a great way to spend the last day of the year with but that's on me

I usually am passive with the whole crocomom/dad theory with croc cuz I thought it was only based of that one iva line and thought haha let's add another potential mom to the list(mind you I first heard this theory when I was in wci so memories of marineford was spotty at that time)

Now on my rewatch when I'm not too focused on the anxiety and mourning of ace I'm now realized how ooc croc was after sengoku announced Luffy parentage

I just went ????!?!? HUH WHAT WHAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS FOR I DONT TRUST YOU WHAT

There's legit zero reason for him to kill the executioners much less help the whitebeards with akainu like zero reason

You couldn't even play off it's a 'pirate's pride' with croc like he said when he went to help the whitebeards and not letting the navy hunt down the pirate CUZ HE WAS A FORMER WARLORD HE DOESN'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT PIRATE PRIDE WHATSOEVER

And you couldn't even argue about it paying back a debt to Luffy cuz he technically did so already in impel down

It's just, it doesn't make any sense unless he has a very strong connection regarding Luffy parentage (regardless it's because he is mom or he owe someTHING to the revs)

Crocodile's out of the ordinary behavior during the battle of Marineford is what many people who are aware of Crocodad cite as a main reason for why there could be some truth to the theory! I did read this "live" when it was released in but I didn't like Crocodile at that time so I don't remember what I thought about his motivations. I think the most surface level one is to just accept that what he says is true but it leaves a lot of questions because he goes above and beyond what is necessary to not let the marines win.

Not letting the marines win meant "save Ace, protect Luffy - carry the next generation into the new era". Considering his grudge against Whitebeard, him following his wishes all of a sudden seems strange. But if there was his own interest mixed into making sure Luffy lives... well.

(Sidenote: I like what you say about him not having any pirate pride. I think that's true. Judged by Miss Golden Week's power he still has or at least had dreams to be the king of pirates. But he doesn't do anything to achieve it, so I wonder what being king of pirates even meant to him. (It is Buggy of all people who gives him and Mihawk a lecture about them not being real pirates if I remember correctly.))

Crocodile comes across as a character who makes decisions based on strategic merit, not emotion. But when he saved Luffy, he was clearly upset, even more upset than when he saw WB stabbed by his own crew member. And even that kind of upset surprised a lot of people.

I did write about the specific moment that proceeds Crocodile starting his out of character actions and it is WB's speech about sons, about loving them unconditionally, about doing what it takes to preserve that life. He was talking about Ace and while Crocodile did save Ace, there is way more weight to him saving Luffy - the stakes are higher (it is against Akainu) and Crocodile appears emotionally invested in it as well. "If you want to protect something, do it right." He knows that this is his son/ someone he wants to protect for some reason. He didn't react the moment it was revealed that Dragon was his dad (we didn't see Crocodile's reaction to it, but he also didn't jump into action the second he heard), but only later, when WB made his speech which also seemed to rearrange Crocodile's priorities - he has to let go of the old wounds and old grudges that he's been carrying for decades. Maybe leaving his child behind has also been an old wound, never mind what the realization that he nearly killed him might have done to him. But Luffy's alive, he's here, he needs help and Crocodile is going to provide it.

Ah, I love thinking about this theory!

(Of course he could have other ties or debts to Dragon, or he could just have done it all because he somehow decided to let go of his grudge against WB and stand side by side with the WB pirates because he used to be one of them, but that doesn't bring me as much joy to think about. And while there might have been WB and Croc backstory, the point of revealing that Croc was part of his crew seems to have passed. The WB pirates are no more; they were defeated, we got to see some flashbacks and this chapter seems closed now. Of course Oda could just reveal it in a SBS later as he sometimes does with backstories he knows won't make it into the manga.)

Damn I did all this analysis about the theme of power and Abbadon just spelled it out for us. Were in Allisons mind right now, and that version of her in that chair represent 'power' Who is in control right now. Which is why Allison is acting so weird.

I joke, but it is a unique way of illustrating Allison's mind, as well as a new angle on the corruption that comes with power.

UH OH! So yeah throughout the heist people have tried to kill her. And she suspects Cio is trying to kill her too, which was a seed planted when the demon 'Myself' said that when Cio and Allison first met Cio did actually plan to kill her.

WOAH! So, allison took back control from power by merging with all the other parts of herself and then. That! It feels really basic that the solution was just 'you need all parts of you inorder to be whole' but we got some cool visuals and it WAS earned because...

Cio had to fucking die for her to come to that conclusion.

And again, I joke but when I was reading this chapter I was biting my fucking nails. Abbadon, btw I know his real name is Tom Parkinson but I'm gonna keep calling him that cuz its cool, is such a fucking brilliant writer.

The art is fucking brilliant, and it's brilliant in a way that is almost difficult to talk about. Like just look at it.

But fuck me the writing! You know the world building is amazing. But the fundamental character arcs and interactions, as well as the themes are all fucking FANTASTIC.

And yeah, I won't lie I cried a bit reading this chapter. Allisons arc this chapter of being taken over by power, may be slightly by the books. But fuck me is it effective. That's why I can't actually say Allisons arc is bad. Because it isn't! The way it affects the characters around her, specifically Cio is incredibly effective.

Cio has her own internal struggle of her past life as Yabalchoath. And she gave up her previous life with her previous husband. And CONSTANTLY risks her neck for Allison by escorting her out of Throne. And then getting her off of Mottom's Palace. AND THEN agreeing to go into Mammon's keep where she will be KILLED if the mission isn't successful.

The only thing she's getting out of this is theoretical protection from Praman Nand, but clearly this path isn't much safer.

And i believe she may have initially joined Allison for her own safety, but i think she stuck around out of a desire to distance herself from Yabalchoath. And because she had a big ol crush on Allison. As annoyed as Cio may be it's pretty obvious she liked her.

After all of this, just to be accused of wanting to murder the person you have sacrificed so much for and who you love.

AND THEN. TO BE LEFT BEHIND TO DIE BY THAT SAME PERSON!!!

I would have wanted to kill Allison too.

Not that killing her is in character for Cio, but for the vengeful and selfish Yabalchoath...

I described Allisons arc of getting control back from Power as 'basic'. But it is genuinely effective, and believable that Allison would act the way she does.

So yeah, Cio tries to kill Allison. But is IMMEDIATELY remorseful. And both of them have this "what the fuck are we doing" moment. Throughout all the bullshit, all the fighting and the differences. All the fucking peril. Allison and Cio love eachother.

ONYX STORM REVIEW + SPOILERS

now this book was incredible in many ways, and yall can say what you want, but i freaking loved it. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

I love how for most of this book, violet and the quest squad had ventured to the isle kingdoms. it was incredible world building as always, but also seeing how the world operates. violet was so badass in this i can’t even-

now, halden being revealed as her ex? not surprising but we love to see a jealous xaden. halden is also a prick so no complaints for violet breaking up with him.

what i didn’t expect was the pov’s from rhiannon and imogen. now im not complaining because it really made the end battle much more fleshed out. it really provided more insight into the battle, but also their characters.

now onto the topic of xaden… i was really expecting him to be cured, but im glad he wasn’t. DONT SUE ME!! rebecca yarros is not a predictable queen and we love her for it! it was interesting to see how he acted when tempted with that much power, and ultimately seeing him turn in his POV at the end of OS (also panchek being a traitor? WOW) he is still my ultimate shadow daddy, but just evil now.

another thing i love is that violet failed. multiple times. it’s not realistic when the heroine wins everytime. so when she failed to get the irids, some of the alliances and etc… it was good to see how she stood against that and how she made an outcome out of her situation. but i love how fleshed out violet is. we see her stand up and face against all odds time and time again. we see her really step into the character she needs to be.

now onto the ending… am i the only one confused by that bombshell?! first of all, it shocking when we find out that she doesn’t remember how she got back to the others, and i was confused. then! we find out that our shadow daddy venin xaden has MARRIED HER?!?!? (gorgeous ring though no complaints). then to top it off, imogen has erased her memories from that moment (which is odd?) and apparently, the 12 hours she was missing. (what the hell could they have been doing?!) then violet saying to imogen “what did you do?” and imogen replying “what you asked me to” did i miss something? what did violet ask imogen to do? AND xaden telling her not to look for him?!? a possible guess is that whatever violet saw in those twelve hours cause imogen to erase her memory.

all that said, i give this book 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. rebecca yarros did her big one! another phenomenal read. do i want to find her and demand answers? YEA! but now i have to stew on this for possibly another year (don’t remind me). BUT let’s respect the author and their mental health, so they can deliver another spectacular book, while being healthy! thank you rebecca for your spectacular writing and world you have introduced us to.

Gotta love the irony of Miraculous claiming "All it takes for evil to win is for good to do nothing" and then turning around and say "If you dont like us teaching countless of harmful messages to children so Marinette can be the ever-victim girboss ruler of the universe, then fuck you. You're wrong, you're an awful women hater (even if your a woman. That's the only reason you could take an issue with the story, you hate women) and if you want to watch this show in peace, you have to kneel and surrender your moral code to what WE tell you is right (for Marinette)"

Miraculous, I thought I was SUPPOSED to think for myself and speak up when I see injustice and people being harmed for someone's ego? Why did you lie to me when I was a kid? Marinette doesnt care for justice, she's self-righteous and now always puts herself first. If looking away benefits her, she'll always do it and only sobs little "sowwys" when things go bad, but then mostly only really cares about making sure SHE gets out of it best as possible. Sure, she's doing her best, but clearly much more the best FOR HERSELF then anyone else. Since s4 she stopped caring for justice once she isnt the one getting the most out of it.

She was upset that saying "I forgive you" to Alya at the end of Strike Back didnt make Alya put her life and loved ones on the line just so Marinette can continue having Rena Rouge. Just wanted her to keep the Miraculous, expecting that Alya too agrees that Marinette's feelings were all that mattered in Hawkmoth knowing Rena's identity. She "forgives" her, so Alya may risk and loose everything now. Poor Marinette, Alya didnt agree that Mari's forgiveness was all that mattered :'(

She never tried giving her friends or teachers real reasons to believe her about Lila, she just wanted them to believe her whim and punish and bully the new girl bc Marinette said so. Sure doesnt sound like Marinette dislikes abuse of power and bullying, she just wants to be the one to decide who "deserves" it.

And Cat Noir we dont need to explain, I'll do it anyway. Marinette is nothing but selfish when it comes to Cat to a level that honestly were impressive if it wasnt so horrible in a kids show. I have never seen such an awful and selfish leader and partner who then has herself nothing but rewarded for not giving a shit beyond the barest minimum and being a toxic to outright abusive hypocrite as long as she says "I'm sowwy, I'm just so blameless and correct :'( and you're wrong and need to do better and take care of me for unfairly making me feel NOT like a Queen :'( Oh no! I'm so awful! But, like, only in the really flawless way where you have to do all the effort or else I'll get upsette"

That's no hero, no role model, no loving partner both romantic and platonic, and sure no ruler of the universe.

Dont tell children to care about Justice and then punish them for doing so.

Yeah, the reason I say that the writing feels like Miraculous writers are punishing people for disagreeing or liking non-Marinette characters too much is specifically because of how utterly everything about the show and its actual, established moral code falls apart as soon as your suspension of disbelief is broken by one of the many, many, many, many breakdowns of its internal logic. This show is agonizing to watch when you aren't part of the segment of the audience the writers’ priorities cater to. When you aren’t excusing and forgiving everything the writers mess up, watching the show feels like a punishment.

Because, yeah, it’s about caring about the wrong thing. Caring about justice, when the writer’s want you to care only about Marinette’s personal justice. Caring about consistency when the only consistent thing is how far the writers are willing to bend things to excuse Marinette. Caring about any character besides Marinette, when the writers only care about Marinette. Caring about seeing a cute wholesome romance, when the only romance is the most toxic depiction of soulmates possibly ever seen.

There’s so much you have to ignore to just enjoy this show anymore, and it would be ridiculous if it wasn’t so depressing. And, because this show refused to conclude any of its arcs before it decided to turn them all into nightmare versions of the show you thought you were watching, going back to watch those old episodes also makes you feel like there’s this inky doom hanging over all the characters and their arcs. It's like peering behind the veil; you’ve seen something you shouldn't have and the normal doesn't feel normal anymore.

a little late for summertime dont you think

just some post-talia bummery from these two i love them to the point that i have to remind myself that one isnt even canon like this is torture.

I dont have much to say for this post as ive said pretty much everything about post-talia them posts prior, I DO however, have a lot of talia rambling to do- which will be saved when i doodle enough stuff for it

They still have that little bickering and bantering thing going on, passive aggressiveness with one another and being the one who gets the other into silly troubles despite both being elites. Like how Jade said Topaz and Aventurine bickers like kids, these two however, bicker like those alt older brothers in coming of age movies and his bromantic bro bestfriend (ive said this before so manu times but i cant find a better way to describe them)

mayeb something like todd and wallace but theyre vashwood if you get what i mean - i’ve also been subconsciously projecting vashwood onto these two considering fenrir calls aventurine “vasha/vash/vashu” while aventurine calls fenrir “that wolf/wolfy/dumb dog” and ive yet to realize that until very recently when i was writing something for fenrir that goes like “he valued life as others and he also bets it on me.” and i get reminded of “he feared death twice as others” and it just hits “ive been projecting vashwood onto these two oh my god”

fenrir cares for aventurine more than he wants to, but he does regardless.

It’s something that Fenrir live by, is that genuine help would come without the need for obligations afterwards. During Talia, Fenrir actively create scenarios around him that make people that he’s dependent on rely on him, out of obligations or respect. So whatever help Fenrir gives, he calculated them all so that they’d be beneficial “technically” to him.

Yet for certain individuals, those he love dearly such as Hermia, Boothill and Aventurine- He was willing to suffer a loss for them, which, for a person all for survival like Fenrir, is a tough decision to take. He broke his own ideals and virtues so that he could protect and satisfy these people, his family and he hates whenever he does that because it showed him that someone is having control over him and he’s at their mercy, which means they could just leave him and he’s very vulnerable to them. To put trust in these people so much that he’d voluntarily help them is like to trust them with his life.

i also like the concept of Talia recycling everything, even people considering some people would see that they’ve been “used” beyond so they were given a chance again. that’s why i felt like aventurine was suitable for this considering his past and his potential inferiority complex there.

the foundation between aventurine and fenrir relies on a lot of trust, and gamble as they could not read one another. it connects back to aventurine’s eidolons being game theories and avidity’s being about desires and non-co-operative game theories (one wins at expense of another while game theory is both party wins through trust and cooperation). fenrir’s eidolons are still in writing, but i want it to be based on 7 deadly sins or something, he does have a lot of religious references for the new lore rework.

fenrir was created before i know of aventurine, but i did tweaked a lot of things about him when aventurine came out. though the fundamentals still stayed, they were just made for each other rurururouuouogugh….
