Thinking about a Gold Cages moment in Eregion pre you know Everything and Elrond, Celebrimbor and Galadriel are going swimming in the river with a bunch of other people (and Galadriel is for once, able to think of Celeborn and Celebrian without her heart shattering) and it’s just, it’s a lovely afternoon. Perfect. Small elflings and dwarves laughing and splashing in the shallows. Galadriel is diving off the highest part of the bank. Celebrimbor is just floating and thinking about all the inspiration around him. Elrond is looking like a vision of Luthien.

Artist Venting

good Lord i almost regret making an Art Station account years back, because over those years I've been approached with countless "job offers" that all turned out (some more obvious than others) to be scams.

Like my dudes. I ain't got no fancy funds for you to swindle and I'm not an idiot who's gonna waste hours and hours of my time for someone with very little info and no verification you're a real person.

Currently vetting that another email that looks like it could be legit but dammit i doubt it is 🥺😭

I hate this form of scam so much. All forms honestly but this one personally twists me up inside because thanks. Every time i get a fake job offer that was a pep of adrenaline and excitement and rudely dashed dreams.

Like yo. Yo I'm trying to make ends meet don't dangle a fat carrot in front of my face that's made of rubber and tell me it's real. I'm gonna throw the chew toy at your damn face.

Sorry for the sudden venting. I'm just really grumpy because I've had some really cool opportunities that were real come my way at a time i couldn't feasibly pursue them, now to be getting straight up fake ones that sound like they could actually be real?

Ugh. Thank you all the non assholes of the world because you're why i share my art publicly and why i bother giving people the benefit of the doubt. Because not everyone who emails me about my art is a scripted bot or an info or money stealing asswipe

Seeing ppl go sniffing around "haunted" places with their faith firmly in mind would be so interesting, because 9/10 times I guarantee it's gonna result in a priest going "yup, you got demons." and then they proceed to boot the thing back where it came from (likely off-camera)

I do enjoy the stories behind "hauntings" and such, but it still gives me "this doesn't sound right. Why aren't you calling a priest" vibes, and it would be neat to see them actually take that route rather than do something that causes more demons to show up.
