What embarrasses you most about your own writing?
Oof really going for the jugular there, aren't you friend. My forever issue with my writing is that it's catered to ME, I will love it and think its great but will convince myself that no one else could possibly love it. It's good and fun for ME but super cringe and not appealing to everyone else.
So the things that I love about my writing: excessive description, back and forth dialogue, really hard hitting, emotional conversation, switching POVs to give both a rounded but also a biased perspective? I get soooo embarrassed about when I imagine someone else reading it. Like who else but me who sweat and bled for those words wants to read that? I feel I need to apologize to my beta whenever I send her fics haha.
It's dumb I know but even with all the nice reviews in the world, my brain is still telling me there is no way anyone other than me will enjoy this stupid story of mine.
