South Park: Effed Up Fairy Tales AU

Back in July, I posted this magnum opus, and at first I was gonna leave it at just this image. But recently, I felt like going back and expanding the AU and adding more characters in it. I also wanna try and go for a Shrek-style fairytale parody vibe for it, because it just fits a South Park AU so well lmao

I’m just gonna be listing some of the characters I’ve already planned who are gonna be playing the roles of a couple of fairytale characters, but some requests are welcome on which character should be in a certain fairytale. I’ll also be making changes to some of the stories, but still try my best to make them recognizable.

~ Sharon and Randy as Red Riding Hood and the Wolf ~

(Plus Sheila and Gerald as the Grandma and Huntsman)

Aah yes, the pic that started it all. If you saw that one first, you know the basic gist, but I did make a little more lore about it.

Randy and Sharon are still married in this AU like in the regular canon, but their marriage is seen as pretty controversial by the townspeople. First things first, people are finding it odd that, y’know… Red Riding Hood married the guy who tried to eat her (tho Randy still wants to eat her in this AU, albeit in a different way if you catch my drift 😏), and others have assumed that Sharon might have stockholm syndrome, which was fortunately not the case and the accusations were quickly shut down by her. Second, unlike the other ladies (who I’m gonna mention in this post later on), their lovers play the roles of a dashing hero, while Randy plays the role of a sly villain. And third, she’s a human and he’s a werewolf. Even though Randy is half human, people still scratch their heads over the fact that they’re different species and how tf that type of relationship would even work.

Thankfully the two are here to prove them wrong, because to put it short, the two were just meant for each other. Just like in the regular canon, their relationship isn’t flawless, but it’s far from toxic, and the two manage to form a healthy bond despite their disagreements and differences. Plus, like I’ve mentioned before in that post, Randy is very loving and protective of Sharon, my guy is willing to put his life on the line just to see his wife safe and sound, if that isn’t true love, then I don’t know what is 😤

And remember when I said in that post that Stan was gonna be the huntsman/woodsman? Yeeeaaah, I lied, Gerald’s gonna take over that role, and Sheila’s gonna be the grandma. Stan, Shelly, Kyle and the rest of the kids (save for a few, which, again, I’m gonna mention later on) don’t exist in the AU yet. First it’s gonna be their parents getting together, and after that, that’s when they’re gonna be introduced.

Instead of being related to the grandma like in the original story, Sheila and Sharon are just unrelated roomies, and all four of the parents live together in one cozy cabin in the woods. And like Randy and Sharon, Gerald and Sheila are still married.

~ Liane as Snow White ~

Liane isn’t gonna be of noble birth, but instead she’s just a commoner woman. She doesn’t have ebony hair, but she does have the fair skin and red lips thing down. She also still does have the, “fairest of them all” aspect to her, which gives her some attention from a couple of men. Unlike in the canon, she’s not really a maneater here. Although does try to give the guys who are infatuated with her a show by teasing them in a couple of ways. She’ll wink at them, blow kisses, and if she’s feeling really flirty, show some leg, but nothing more.

She’s soft-spoken and sweet as ever, but the hopeless romantic aspect is turned up a little bit. She’s good friends with Sharon in this AU, and she usually hangs out with her and Randy in the forest. Liane is very supportive and on board with their relationship, but also pines that she was in a loving relationship like them with a sweet man. But little does our girl know that she’ll be meeting her Prince Charming very soon.

Speaking of which, introducing… Chef! Yes I ship Chef and Liane together, what about it? Ngl, they make such a cute couple together because of their friendly, easygoing personalities, and they’re also nice to Eric. The two deserve each other and they need more fanart together 💕

Anyways, Chef is Liane’s Prince Charming in the story, but like her, he’s not of royalty. Like in the regular canon, he’s still a cook, but he’s more of a local baker here who’s known for his kick ass food. Liane has been friendly with him for quite some time, but isn’t quite sure on how to show her true feelings towards him, so she’s been keeping it to herself. It has been a little bit of a struggle for her to do so. Though, again, little does she know that Chef’s been feeling pretty much the same about her. And instead of seven dwarves, they’re seven bachelors, and said bachelors are gonna be the many men that she’s slept with throughout the series. And Eric does exist in this AU, but he’s a lot younger here, and he’s gonna play the role as the Evil Queen. He loves his mama, but he’s not a happy camper about her getting a man for fear of her not paying attention to him anymore. So what does that mean? Sabotaging her suitors’ chances of dating her, of course!

Not sure how I’m gonna incorporate the poison apple scenario, but I’m pretty happy with what I got.

~ Laura and Thomas as Rapunzel and the Prince ~

Instead of a witch trapping her in the tower against her will, Laura chose to live there on her own, because I feel like she likes a little bit of some solitude. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like company, she’ll still invite her girlfriends over whenever she feels like it. But she’s definitely in for one surprise when Thomas swings by one day.

At first, she’s pretty cold towards him, but does eventually end up warming up to him. She even asks if he could stay over for the night sometimes.

And in some older versions of the story, Rapunzel ends up getting pregnant by the Prince, which ends up exposing their secret love affair to Gothel and soon later gives birth to a son and daughter, and I thought that I might use this as inspiration to introduce Craig and Tricia in the AU. Laura and Thomas end up getting a little too freaky, and then boom, babby formed.

~ Mrs. Tweak/Tabitha and Richard as Sleeping Beauty and the Prince ~

This is one that I don’t have too much to say about because I haven’t written much about it, but I’ll still share it.

Since Tabitha likes coffee, y’know, a drink that gets you buzzed and energized, I thought it would be funny to have her be the complete opposite and just have her sleep for a long while.

And similar to Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty has children in some of the older versions of the story, albeit, non-consensual. Obviously gonna change that part because Richard’s a decent dude and not a creep, he would never ever do that to his wife. And I don’t have any clever rewriting or twist on the story, for now I’m just gonna play it straight and have Richard awaken Tabitha by kissing her hand, she wakes up from her god-knows-how-long-its-been slumber, they ride off into the sunset, end up having Tweek, happily ever after.

~ Kenny, Kevin, and Karen as Hansel and Gretel ~

Pretty obvious as to why I put the McCormick kids in this role. Kenny and Kevin both share the role of Hansel, and Karen plays Gretel. Stuart’s obviously gonna be the woodcutter, and Carol’s the cruel mother. Not stepmom, but biological mother, because that’s what she was in the original versions. Again, like with Mrs. Tweak/Tabitha Sleeping Beauty, this version is just gonna be the basic fairytale but with Kenny and his family in lieu of the original characters. Though in this version, Carol doesn’t die, she still stays alive when the kids return back home.

~ Alexis as Cinderella ~

I don’t see much fanwork in the fandom regarding Wendy’s mom, Alexis, so I felt like giving her a spot in this AU. And I like the idea of Wendy being a princess 👸🏻✨

Alexis doesn’t live with a stepfamily, and she’s not dirt poor nor is she super rich. She’s basically a hardworking lower-middle class woman who works as some sort of janitor in a small boutique. This is where the wicked stepmother and stepsisters come into play as the boss of some bitchy co-workers and boss. They constantly make fun of her for not having nice clothes like they have, and make her do the stupidest and most trivial things, like purposely knocking over objects and ordering her to clean them up. And when they get news of the Prince’s ball, they purposely extend her work so she wouldn’t be able to attend it.

And not sure if I should include the Fairy Godmother in here (and not sure who’s gonna play the role), but you know the story. She gets a new outfit and a carriage to send her to the ball, she catches the eye of the Prince (who’s played by her husband/Wendy’s dad), she dips when midnight approaches, yada yada yada. But in this version, I wanted to keep the fate of the stepsisters from the Grimm version and have it happen to the co-workers, as in the co-workers mutilate parts of their feet in a desperate attempt to fit the slipper. And as punishment for their mistreatment towards Alexis, they get their eyes pecked out by birds and now live as crippled blind beggars on the streets of some medieval slum. The end! 🥿 🎃 🐁

~ Butters as Goldlilocks ~

And last but certainly not least, we have our good little christian boy Butters to tackle. At first it was Bebe that was gonna be Goldilocks, but I eventually thought that Butters fit the role a little better. Though I think I might have her be Alice.

Once again, haven’t put much thought into this one yet, but I am going to have his parents Stephen and Linda be the papa and mama bear. And it wasn’t until I realized that this is ironic, since there was that one episode where they forced him to dress up like a bear. Sooo ig the shoes on the other foot now lol

Pretty much it all for the stories I have, but there’s one more little thing that I wanna mention. Plot twist… this whole AU turns out to be one big weird book that Mr. Garrison made up. And a friend of mine pointed out that it kinda sounds like that episode where he tried making a book where he just wrote the same word over and over again, and because of that I probably might use that as inspiration.

I just imagine him acting as some sort of TV Show host reading out these stories while sitting on a fancy chair near a fireplace, and maybe I’ll draw something like that one day. Just tuning in to an episode of our favorite teacher reading some wholesome, pc, family-friendly fairytales 🥰 /j

Jk, jk. But in his defense, old fairytales were meant more for adults and not children. They featured such lovely topics like murder, incest, and cannibalism, and they were also meant to be cautionary tales, so we’ll it slide on Garrison’s behalf.

Well because she’s still emailing me - and my editor - and I think it’s important to inform y’all that that’s happening. This isn’t about a disagreement with a Kay. I don’t care about other people and don’t post other blog names specifically because I don’t want to have random online drama and feuds. She’s problematic tho - I said before and she showed us just how problematic she is with this stunt. It’s important for you guys to be careful and just conscious of her. Like I can pretend it’s not happening but it is. She emailed my editor on Christmas Day with her nonsense. I think reporting it happened was important.

Also I was also reaaaaally tired when she emailed - I was snappy yesterday because of this genuine feeling of exhaustion - and laughing about it today proved a bit cathartic.

And I also just want a chill fun place where we can shit talk and make jokes and maybe discuss masturbation tips on occasion lmao. I really would prefer not to deal in negativity. That’s why I don’t post asks about random blogs like idc. So yesterday someone named @ragific decided to talk some nonsense on the yk tag, and now they are being extremely defensive and acting like “omg i’m a victim, a damsel in distress” and is calling me out because according to them, i was rude (and honestly i tried not to be but i’m done with bullshit n the tag). Oh, I’m also delusional, but aren’t we all?? Cause like i said before, what we know about them is from what we see on tv shows, vlive, fancams, etc etc.
