I think he would be silly lol. Like very good at making his gf laugh, of course. We know he's scary good at getting a nice read of people, so he'd know what makes her tick, what makes her laugh, what topic to avoid (unless he's feeling angry i guess) so on. Clown bf #1.

I think he might struggle with sad partners like, if his gf has depression you bet he doesn't get it, but he might TRY

also controversial take I think he would be loyal asf. Like if he's happy with someone, he doesn't bother entertaining could-bes (and i know what youre thinking like. He's a m*n. And not a very good one at that. He would 100% be a cheater) but I think not. He just doesnt give those vibes

All in all I think he'd be very affectionate, very silly, but a bit too unserious. Like he might not take a lot of things seriously because "aw you girls are so dramatic", but he would take an interest in her problems (since he likes reading people, and people's problems help you know a lot abt them. also. he cares.) and he would try to help in whatever way he can. He'd still be a mess financially speaking, and he probably secretly would want to be coddled in private because he's still got mommy issues, whether or not his gf is a carbon copy of his mom. He would be kind of a tough nut to crack because he keeps everything so walled up, his real emotions and so on (again, the 'shielding' factor i guess), he talks a lot but without substance so his partner might not really know whats going on with him ever). THEY DRIVE ME NUTS!! like. for example ive been thinking of bella again more recently n feel incredibly sick ovr it all, ik I briefly mentioned sm stuff abt her before BUT? shes actually this eldest sister of all time guys n let me explain:

where to even begin. she was the first of her parent's eventual "failures", while being graced w gen love n kindness at first from them they quickly grew "tired" of her n she could never understand why. one day they were indulging her whims, pinching her cheeks n letting her come everywhere w them, n the next she was tugging at her mother's skirt hem n her fathers hand asking to be picked up n they only tiredly looked at her this time n told her to "stop being fussy" n that was that. when she heard they were having another kid it felt like she was being "replaced" n her chest hurt so bad and her eyes welled up n she ended up running to her room n slamming the door n crying into her pillow bc she just wanted her parents back n knew that now she'd really never get to have them again. when her baby brother was finally born tho, her mother made her hold him n at first bella only frowned sullenly down at him bc really- this is what they were replacing her with? but something inexplicable softened inside of her against her will when he softly smacked his little fist against her chest n ended up snuggling closer to her, n she ended up walking around the house simply carrying him for a while until he fell asleep so her mom could rest. when they eventually realized there was something wrong w myer- that being his near inability to see pretty much anything- suddenly he wasnt their cute kid anymore he was something that was "too much work" bc of this, n so what do they do? they pawn him off on bella of course, n u can guess how well that goes over. not only have they replaced her but now they've turned her into myers sole caretaker pretty much bc theyre gone so much of the time (AT AGE 8 MIND YOU.) once, bella shut the door in myers face n told him to go away, only to open it hours later n see him sitting right outside fiddling w the carpet in the dark. she felt so guilty tht she started crying n hugged him close n said she was sorry over n over. like she really felt like he “took” her parents love at first, but now? it feels like he's simply in the same boat as her n she has no choice but to step up for him bc if not her then who else. tht doesnt mean she still didnt struggle w him, far from it in fact, but while she has these mixed emotions, she also knows that despite myer not being able to see her much, whenever he hears her voice its enough to bring him running from the opposite end of the house to her n that means something to her. you planned on spending a day with your boyfriend, katsuki. you swung your arms as you waited on the porch of your boyfriends house, watching him slip his shoes on through his open door. once he finished, he grabbed his bag and exited his house, locking the door behind him after shouting a "goodbye" to his mom.

you hopped on one foot excitedly as you linked arms with katsuki, him sending you a cocky grin. "you ready to have the best day ever princess?" he asked, leaning down to place a kiss on your forehead.

"any day with you is the best day ever." you stated and nudged him with your elbow. he rolled his eyes playfully and chuckled. "god, your so cheesy."

you guys arrived at the subway station and took seats next to the window. katsuki wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close to him, moving his hand up to play with your hair. katsuki knew it would be a while till you guys got to your stop, so he let you relax against his figure and even take a small nap.

he made sure to make sure you didnt mess up your light makeup, knowing you'd be upset since you left your makeup at home, or fixing your hair whenever you shifted so it wouldn't get tangled. after almost 2 hours of riding, you felt a light shake of your arm, and slowly sat up.

you went to wipe your face but felt katsukis arms stop you. "don't ruin your makeup princess." he said and you giggled tiredly, still trying to shake off the sleep as he helped you stand. "thanks katsu." you yawned and he dragged you out the subway train so you didn't miss the open doors.

katsuki pulled out a water bottle and handed it to you and you took it, taking small sips. you smiled as you screwed the top back on, placing it in his bag and taking his hand in yours. "my katsu is so caring, huh?" you ask, turning to see your boyfriends slightly pink cheeks.

"yeah, whatever." he mumbled and patted your head, earning a giggle. "you wanna eat first?" he asked as you guys stepped out of the subway station. it was a bit of a walk to the pier, so you guys had small conversation.

you linked your arm with his and looked up at him, "yeah, lets get some, uh.. oh! sushi!" you bounced and shot a big smile at your boyfriend, one he just couldn't refuse. "fine, you crazy woman," he patted your head and shot you a smirk, "my woman." you rolled your eyes and walked closer to your boyfriend, slightly leaning against him.

the sun beat down on you two as you made your way to the pier, eventually arriving. you felt the cool breeze from the ocean, versus the heat from the summer sun, it was refreshing. you two walked down the pier to find a place to eat, one that had sushi of course. "oh, katsu!" you called tugging on your boyfriends arm and pointing to a restaurant.

he turned his head and smiled in the direction of the restaurant. "good eye babe." he held your hand and you two entered the restaurant. after waiting for a waiter to lead you to your table, katsuki shot you a smile. "someone looks mighty happy huh?"

you kicked his leg under the table with a giggle. "of course, who wouldn't when they're with their favorite boy at a sushi restaurant." you stated and reached over to oinch katsukis slightly tinted cheeks. "someones turning red~" you teased and earned a scoff from the ash blonde sitting across from you.

"yeah, whatever woman." he rolled his eyes as the waiter came over to take your orders, and after a few minutes of waiting, your food was served and you two dug in. "hey babe." katsuki caught your attention, looking at you with a sort of blank expression. "hmm, what is it katsu?" you asked as you took a sip of your drink. "i was just thinking, do you want to do a bit of shopping before we go to the beach? theres alot of nice shops on the pier." he said and took a bite of his food.

you smiled and nodded at him, "of course id wanna shop, why? was there something you wanted to get?" you asked, raising a brow at him with a smile. he nodded and took a sip of his drink before replying. "shark tooth necklace." he said with a smirk.

you groaned and rolled your eyes playfully. your eyes kinda hurt from how many times you've done that today. "i should've known." you chuckled out, continuing to eat. he furrowed his brows slightly, watching you with a small frown. "is there something wrong with that." his expression made you almost frown at how upset he looked.

"oh my katsu! i didn't mean it like that!" i nearly shouted, cupping his face and placing a small kiss to his lips. "i just meant that i should've known its something you'd want! its actually really cute." you say and search his face for any change in expression.

hos lips turn up into a playful smiled as he lets out a laugh, "i know shitty woman, i was just messing." your jaw dropped as he took another bite of his food. you sit back and cross your arms glaring at him. "first thing im buying is some boxing gloves."

after your meal, you guys split the bill and head out to explore the shops on the pier. you find a cute little flower shop, some surfboard stands, lots and lots of food places, and a small gift shop. a few other stores too, but those were the ones you guys visited.

katsuki looked around the gift shop for a shark tooth necklace as you toyed with anything that caught your eyes. you found some cute earings, shark week magazines, snacks– you made sure to grab a bag of chips and some gummies –and other stuff.

you were about to pass up the necklace section till something caught your eye. a shark tooth necklace! you made sure to grab it and find katsuki. as you ran up to him, surprising him with a backhug, you held your hand infront of his face, letting the necklace dangle infront of his face.

"wha- babe!" he said and grabbed the necklace, looking at it with an excited smile. he turned to you and kissed you, holding you close by your waist. you were shocked by his sudden action, but when he pulled away you chuckled and smacked his chest with your palm. "damn katsuki, you really wanted it that bad?" you ask.

he chuckles and nodded at you. he lifted his hand and mimicked the way you dangled the necklace, but in his hand was a cute jellyfish plushie. you squeaked and grabbed it, looking down at it with a wide smile. "thought my princess would like this, hmm?" he asked and you hugged him.

after buying your items, plus a bunch of random snacks katsuki grabbed last minute, you two make your way to the beach. the WAAA alk alomg the pier is pretty, seeing the tall trees and shining sun refelecting off the vibrant green grass and the beautiful blue ocean.

once you two arrive at the beach, katsuki sets down his bag and pulls out a large blanket. you stand a bit farther away from your boyfriend and closer to the ocean, watching as kids played in the waves and surfers rode them. you bounced excitedly and waddled over to your boyfriend, watching him set the blanket onto the sand.

"katsu katsu katsu!!" you giggled with excitement as he sat down onto the blanket, anchored down by anything heavy enough to keep it from blowing away, though the wind wasnt too strong luckily. "yeah yeah, put on some sunscreen idiot." he said as he motioned you over. you took a seat on the blanket infront of bakugou, smiling at him as he helped you put on sunscreen.

after you two finished, he put the sunscreen away and grabbed your hand as he stood up. you suggested that you walk along the shore as the sun set, and after spending a while eating and shopping, it was almost time. "cmon! lets go katsuuu!"

he watched you as you dragged him towards the waves, big smile on your face and he swore that your eyes sparkled. he squeezed your hand tightly as he gazed past you at the ocean. you two watched the waves dance and crash and the beautiful pink sky slowly fade into a dark purple hue.

feeling the ocean on your feet, you turned to your boyfriend, met with a gaze, and expression that you aren't quite able to read. "whats that look katsu?" you asked, smiling as he released your hand and wrapped his arm around your waist. "dont worry about it dummy," he joked and you pouted at b b him, "love."

you felt your face heat up and you elbowed him lightly. "im serious katsu, like deadass." you turned to look at the waves. "im deadass too. you know i love you.. i don't get serious like this often so just accept it dummy." he said and lightly flicked your cheek. you smiled up at your ash blonde boyfriend, and jumped up to place a kiss on his cheek.

the sky shifted to a darker blue tone, white specks twinkling in the sky. stars, just like the ones bakugou sees in your eyes. your eyes were his galaxy and your smile was his sun.

as your boyfriend watched the stars twinkle, you watched him, his small smile warming your heart and his eyes twinkling, reflecting the beautiful scatter of dots in the sky.

you two had so much love for each other, so much care and passion. small moments like these may be simple, things considered cliches, but all those cliche stories made sense in that moment. those cliches were true and you were happy to be experiencing these feelings with your love, and he felt lucky to spend them with you too.

A random headcanon: he keeps nursing injured animals back to health because he’s just that fucking sweet and bringing them back to his house to keep them warm and safe while they recover and his team knows vaguely about this and ino and shikamaru like to poke fun at him for it but since they don’t tend to encounter said animals, it’s not really a huge deal.

of course they stop by his house one day bc he hadn’t shown up for training which is annoying and frankly a little concerning and finding the house mostly empty ino just bursts on into chouji’s room only to immediately have the opossum he’s been caring for latch its little paws on her face and cling.

it’s a bad morning. General Opinion over said character: literally one of my absolute favorites of all time and it really breaks my heart how overlooked he is in the fandom (seriously y’all...). i think kishimoto is kind of a stupid hack and the Fat Jokes are really grating and it sucks to see that so intrinsically tied to his character (like. just let him be fat. jesus christ) but his kindness and overall relaxed, loyal and lovable nature has me just melting. i adore him. 

Shikamaru

Sexuality Headcanon: He’s gay, scoob. (I could also talk a lot about how his earlier misogyny is both a product of being a whiny tween and also some internalized frustration of like WHATS SO GREAT ABOUT GIRLS. UGH. I DONT. STOP TELLING ME IM GONNA FALL IN LOVE WITH ONE ONE DAY DAD JESUS. and let’s be real, thats frustrating, even if it aint an excuse)  Gender Headcanon: he uses he/him pronouns because it’s just what he’s used to and comfortable with but man gender is such a drag... A ship I have with said character: SEE ABOVE SHIKACHO RANT A BROTP I have with said character: naruto! he and naruto have a really adorable friendship and i love love LOVE that he and chouji were shown to be kind and accepting of him even when most people were shunning him. also he’s so fucking dumb i love seeing shikamaru meticulously plan out something only to have naruto shriek into battle and ruin all of it. love those guys. stupid bros.  A NOTP I have with said character: ok. im sorry i just. loathe sh*katema i really do. i haaaate the way kishimoto writes this whole “ew a GIRL” “ew a MAN” vibe with the like OOOH BUT THEYRE GONNA LIKE EACH OTHER vibe like. 

don’t get me wrong i adore them as friends, i think they’re fantastic scathing and witty pals who bitch about anything and everything including each other

but they’re also both gay and kishimoto can suck my nuts byeeee A random headcanon: sometimes pakkun just fucking Shows up and chills with him. shikamaru wants absolutely no part of this but is way too lazy to like. do anything about it so it’s just this guy and a dog sitting in a field chillin and occasionally him piping up like ‘hey kid. remember when i bit your hand? yeah? haha, man time sure does fly.” while shikamaru is just. go aWAY.   General Opinion over said character: if you told 9 year old me watching naruto for the first time my favs were gonna be a three way tie of lee, shikamaru and chouji i never would have fucking believed you but here we are. i love him. i absolutely love him. he’s such a whiny bastard and a really good depiction of burnout genius who doesnt want to do ANYTHING, but his intellect is an absolute DELIGHT to watch. i love him very much.

Sexuality Headcanon: he’s pan!! this is a boy that crushes easily and crushes hard on just about anyone!!!! Gender Headcanon: cis male A ship I have with said character: ok i ship him a lot with neji actually? what with how neji grows during the course of the series to regard lee with the respect he deserves is really sweet and there’s just something so infinitely adorable about him going around being the hammiest, most ridiculously earnest, kind and enthusiastic person and neji, now that he isn’t constantly bitter and angry at the world can finally really see that? lee is always happily dropkicking his way into his life, like he wouldn’t have it any other way, and i think that’s just...so sweet A BROTP I have with said character: SAKURAAAAA. oh my GOD do i adore their relationship. ever since lee saved her and basically just gave her a glimpse of his...lee-ness, the fact her negative opinion of him IMMEDIATELY flipped and gave her such a strong admiration and fondness for him kills me DEAD. she always treats him with so much respect and the fact she’s quick to rag on anyone making fun of him melts my HEART!! and on lee’s side, his little crush on her is adorable of course, but the sheer strength of the friendship that comes from it is more than infatuation could ever offer him. i want them to hang out together and talk about their troubles...i want them to make each other laugh and be so very kind to each other...i want sakura to storm over and throw him over her shoulder to TAKE A BREAK ALREADY when he’s been training too hard for too long. god. A NOTP I have with said character: honestly i’m pretty happy with a lot of lee ships! the only ones i view with obvious disdain are the ones with creepy age gaps honestly. A random headcanon: out of everyone in the leaf genin, he’s probably the closest anyone’s ever come to someone who EVERYONE is at least distantly friendly towards. like god have you SEEN how warm and inviting and concerned he is the SECOND he sees that naruto is feeling down? i get the sense he’s immediately inclined to provide that kind of support to any of his comrades, even the ones that Resist it.

you think sasuke is the most popular among the leaf genin? puh-LEASE. everyone looks on rock lee with at least a LITTLE bit of warmth. thats just fact. General Opinion over said character: since my first viewing of naruto he has been my Absolute fav, and while chouji and shikamaru are veeery close to stealing that spot, one look at him and i feel he’s gonna be on top forever. probably the best written character kishimoto’s ever produced that’s remained in  the main cast (tho i dont speak for shipudden onwards who fucking knows, but the truth of it is is i adore rock lee)

Sexuality Headcanon: Panromantic Asexual Gender Headcanon: kind of like shikamaru, i feel like he uses he/him pronouns but also doesn’t particularly....Care? A ship I have with said character: ok so it wasnt until my naruto rewatch that i really started falling into this but i think him and naruto are super cute? while i loathe kishimoto for ruining so much abt this show he really is good at creating good foils to naruto, and gaara is no exception--and the way naruto changes his life by just kicking his ass (and proving he’s not just a Simp or smth) and then just, extending genuine empathy and a REAL sense of truly relating to where he’s coming from re:his upbringing? the EFFECT it has on him, bro!!!! my god!!! i feel like they’re that opposites attract ship that don’t clash constantly but instead fall into this adorable synergy and understanding? and i think thats so sweet A BROTP I have with said character: ...is it cheating to just put temari and kankuro here? bc they are literally his siblings but my GOD do i love their relationship. there’s something so deeply sad about their initial situation??? like having siblings that either are deeply fucking afraid of you or clearly don’t care for your well being whatsoever, it’s such a tragic scenario, and the times where they really do show legitimate care for gaara just breaks my heart...but the GROWTH. THE DEVELOPMENT. THE HEALING. i love the sand siblings so much, i am a STRONG advocate of seeing the development from estranged family to loving, occasionally bickering siblings who absolutely Love Each Other A NOTP I have with said character: uhhhh same with lee in that i don’t really mind most of the ships i’ve seen him in? while i don’t particularly ship gaalee i think its also Very Cute, and really it all just seems pretty valid as long as people aren’t being creepy? Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual Gender Headcanon: cis woman A ship I have with said character: listen. i think kibahina is........Really Really cute. he cares about her so MUCH??? and there’s a certain tenderness to his interactions with her that’s just really evident whenever you see em together? i really love that you get the sense hinata is COMFORTABLE around him!!! like! i feel like hinata really deserves to have a partner who sees her when she ISN’T blushing and stammering? when she’s like? legitimately comfortable and being HERSELF? but not today

it was 10 pm and you went to see if seungcheol needed anything so you go to his study room

but before you knock, you hear something from inside his study room

it sounds like crying

and you know for a fact that thats seungcheol’s voice thats crying

you were at a loss of what to do, so it took you a while to do anything, but you decided to go down and tell the chefs that he was hungry just so you could bring him his favourite food to cheer him up

when you went back to the study room, you knocked

but he didn’t answer

it was quiet now, no more sobbing

so you opened the door

and saw seungcheol with his head down on the desk

you quietly wheeled the food towards his study table and put the tray on the other desk near the couch

you carefully approached seungcheol out of curiosity

his cheeks were stained with dried tears, but other than that, he still looked as handsome as ever

you grew concerned and took of the blankets from the bigass closet near the prince’s room and draped it over him

i mean, you were already there so why not lol

the next morning, seungcheol awoke to the smell food and a blanket around him

he grew confused but shrugged it off, he expected one of the maids to do these things

but he smiled knowing someone cares

meanwhile, the head maid came up to you and told you that you’ll be the maid who’ll regularly check up on seungcheol from now on since she was, quote-on-quote, “busy”, and her favourite maid had to retire for god knows what

you didn’t know why but you felt a sense of happiness and anxiety at the same time

so in the afternoon, you go to check on seungcheol as he’s in the study room, sorting out papers

when you enter the room after knocking, seungcheol kinda stares at you

not in the bad, offending way, nah m8

but like

‘holy shit this woman looks better than a grilled cheese sandwich’

which roughly translates to “prince seungcheol is making googly-eyes at maid y/n” ty v much

and he blushed a bit but hid it well when you approached him

“good afternoon, prince seungcheol.. i am maid y/n, i’ll be the new maid who’ll check on you from time to time from now on..” you inform him

he smiles

“may i ask you a small favor?”

you were like

you contemplated on telling him whether or not it was you,

which would be odd for other people, since they would of cOURSE take the chance and say that they did

but you had a sense of not taking credibility in most cases bc you like being humble and shiet so you nod and telling him you’ll inform her

“thank you, it means a lot to me..” seungcheol smiles

a few months after, you hear his royal adviser, which no one rlly likes tbh (tht includes seungcheol), scolding him because he has yet to find a partner

so you go check on him in his bedroom after knocking, and he let you in

you two had, undoubtedly, grown close

which is weird bc he doesnt really make friends w/ workers in the palace, much less be best friends with them

but thats what happened

he basically tells you everything from his dreams, to when his father passed, to how his cat scratched the curtain of the theatre room and etc.

so naturally, you started liking him

but of course, why’d the prince like a maid like you????

yall were just best friends

(like any other ff pfft)

you sat down on his bed, a concerned look on your face as he was on the verge of tears

“whats wrong?” you asked, even if you already knew what dampened his mood

“Mr. Song is pressuring me into getting married again, but this time he told me other things..”

you watch as a tear or two falls from his eyes

its really painful to watch him cry

“its okay… you dont have to tell me if you dont want to..” you reassured seungcheol but he just shakes his head

“no.. i think you deserve to know”

and he told you about how his adviser called him a worthless prince for not being able to even court a girl, telling him that if he was this indecisive, the kingdom would fall, and other hurtful things like that

at this point, he was crying the whole waterfall somewhere in the deep woods near the kingdom

“cheol.. i’m sorry you had to endure that…”

without thinking, you gently pulled him into your arms, pulling him into a warm hug

both of you were surprised, but didn’t waver away from the hug

for a second you thought 'omf why the fu c  k did i do that’

but you just shook the thought away, telling yourself that your best friend is in emotional pain and you did that for moral support

(which wasnt the only reason but you wanted to deny the others hhh)

but seungcheol on the other hand was lo si  n g his shit

on the inside, of course

but thats where it dawned on him

the next day, you knocked on the door of his study room

but it was silent, just like that one night when he cried himself to sleep

you panicked a little, thinking about where on palace grounds he couldve gone to

so you checked his bedroom, the kitchen, the theatre room, the throne room, the royal gardens, everywhere

but aside from finding his cat scratching the theatre room curtains, they were all empty

you asked the head maid where he was and she answered you with a shocked expression before replying

“you mean to tell me you didn’t know he was in the neighboring kingdom, meeting up with his arranged fiancee?”

the head maid gave you the day off, since seungcheol wasnt here for the day

you dressed casually, a white, plain, sleeveless dress that goes to your knees, instead of the regular, convervative, longsleeved maid uniform you were obliged to wear when you had work

you took a walk around the palace grounds, eventaully stopping when you reach the rooftop balcony

the moon was already making an appearance, the night ready to take over the sky

you stay there for the time being, finding the night sky, stars and a few blobs of clouds enticing to the human eye

moments later, you find yourself holding back tears

you let out a few stray tears drip down your cheeks as you sniff, not bothering to wipe them away

you were surprised when a blanket was wrapped around you, and a familiar pair of arms pulling into a hug

“its cold, you shouldn’t be out here at this ti- ….why are you crying?” you heard him voice out the last part in a soft whisper, contrasting his normal tone of speech like how he talked a few moments ago

“n-nothing… its dumb..” you tell him, dismissively

but he wasnt having it

“come on, i’ll listen to you.. tell me whats bothering you to the point where you’re crying..” seungcheol wiped a few of your tears away

“i’ll be fine, cheol.. and.. aren’t you supposed to be in the neighboring kingdom until tomorrow?..” you asked

“yes.. but there was no reason to stay if i rejected the marriage.”

he chuckled

“yeah, i rejected the marriage. i have my eyes on another girl..” he confessed, not breaking the eye contact you both shared

“she was there for me through everything, comforted me at the toughest of times, and brought me food and a blanket when i fell asleep at my study room..”

so he knew

you blushed, knowing exactly what he meant

he approached you slowly, and once he had you in his field of reach, he cupped your face and pulled you closer to him

“would you…” he paused

“…marry me?”

you smiled a gentle, assuring smile

“..of course.”

it’s well past dinnertime with an hour to spare before they have to leave the main building and there’s something about walking around the school at night that sends chills down her spine. it is, without a doubt, a lot more eerie when light doesn’t shine in through the windows.

mai likes to consider these ‘outings’ as field trips, even if they’re within campus and the institute doesn’t consider the psic to be a legitimate club. she’s pretty sure the other clubs don’t get field trips as cool as this, running around campus to investigate the paranormal. today, it’s for documenting purposes. 

today, they’re gonna try to get updated photos for the archive - some of them with a surprise guest, hopefully. sure, creatures can get caught on camera, but what about spirits?

“it’s just down that hallway.”

she's a few steps ahead of euiin when she stops in her tracks to turn around, about to tell him to get his camera ready. but her words get caught in her throat when she notices his demeanour, so she offers him a small, comforting smile. “you scared? don’t worry, i’ll protect you.” there’s a teasing lilt in her tone, knowing that the younger student is still prone to getting creeped out by these things.

but out of the goodness of her heart, mai sticks out her hand.

“you can hold my hand if you want to.”
