Usually our classes in school, not including college, would be more of a generalized concept. History is for all of history, not just any ancient or modern history. Actually... The way you're explaining it seems like a lot of your schools are similar to college classes? At least similar class in college. That's what it seems like to me though. But I can be wrong about this though. That's just what it seems like to me. I don't know.

I don't read. Well.. I do. I might read manga occasionally, and I want to read original stories (like fan fiction stories). But I don't read novels so I technically don't read in the traditional sense of the word though. So there's that. I never did summer reading in my school either. We had a lot of summer reading, but I just never once participated in that at all.

But if I ever did decide to, I would want to try having a shorter character only because mice are small animals. Not sure if I'd have a cat/mouse ship though. But I know that is a funny that when I first thought about you saying she would be in a relationship with Chishiya. But I would really want some short characters. Especially if I have a ship with Chishiya's character. I remember Nijiro complaining the female actresses were a lot taller than him, so he needs a short girlfriend. Someone who could make him happy being taller than someone for once in his life. So this concept is interesting to me. Apparently we have the same thoughts.

As an introvert, I don't think I was ever 'adopted' by extroverts. And.. I rather keep it that way. Because they'd have too much energy for me.

I can't tolerant that. I don't think I could pretend to either. Which is so funny considering that half of my original characters are extroverted.

If you wanted to avoid disorders, then maybe you could just make her as a character who sleeps a lot. Like someone who sleeps longer than an average person. Longer sleep hours? Someone who could nap any time she has a chance to, someone who can sleep anywhere. Or... I'm not sure. I don't know. I don't know much about most disorders. If I've ever written a character with disorders, actually disabilities in general, then that is because I have some knowledge about the disability then - whether I have those disabilities, or someone I know probably has it.

Obviously the dormouse's canonically associated with Alice, Hatter or Hare. So the mouse should have some connections with them. Only if you are being canonical about the relationships. So yes.. There's that.

I don't know about games yet. I will have a lot of planning to do, when it comes to the Borderlands story. Characters, games, music. Just so many things I have to figure out soon. I should rewatch AIB very soon though.. Not sure when. But I'll definitely have to rewatch the show.

I don't know how many games either. So maybe you should only start with just a few games? Then create more as the story continues. But.. Remember some violence should happen, like more violence than the other games should be thrown in. Like high stakes of losing someone then. In the same way as the tag games, hide and seek games, those types of games. Not that anyone has to die. But more drama involved for some characters. And maybe more suspense in these stories too.

Dori is still attractive. But I won't lie.. I knew he wasn't overly muscular but I thought he would be more toned though. I don't know. Since I've known that he was a model in real life, so I did really imagine his body differently. But it also makes sense? Because, originally, Niragi's really supposed to be a diamond person instead of spades. And! During any scenes he tries raping women, then he's having other people hold the girl down. Like in the scenes with Usagi for example. Apparently, he is definitely a bully who prefers harassing people weaker than him every time he is bullying someone. Which isn't surprising since he is a bully.

Yuki is muscular in a lean and toned way, not overly muscular, but the type of athletic type of build that you could see on spades specialists.

They should've given Noboru some shirtless scenes too. Actually.. I'm wishing some of the H&L cast had more shirtless scenes, but it really never happened. Cobra had one shirtless scene (when he's tortured).

Actually! If I remember correctly.. In the Retry sequel, I believe Arisu's career was also in designing video games? I can't remember. But if he did end up having a career in making video games, that could make a lot of sense for his character. And if he were to ever meet Niragi again if they worked in the same company anyway. But seriously.. If Niragi's a game designer too. Why did you think that he thought the concepts of Borderlands being played like a video was ridiculous. At least when Arisu would bring it up. If Niragi creates games, that should make the most sense to him other than the one person who truly plays games.

I get that Niragi doesn't like Arisu because he's pathetic. And maybe.. There's a chance that Arisu reminds Niragi of his weaker self. But that could have brought them together? I don't know. But yeah. They both enjoy video games, playing or designing games in some way. And if it was ever possible they met in the real world maybe after the very first time, maybe they somehow become friends, but then what may even happen if they got trapped in Borderlands a second time. Because it's obvious you would forget your Borderland memories in the real world after the survivors make it, but you do remember your real memories in Borderlands. And I'm curious on if Chishiya and Niragi would really have become friends too? Doubtful. But still. Because they were even talking to each other for some time, reminiscing about their lives a lot of the time. But that was for every character though. Not just them.

Horologist could work for the white rabbit. Or maybe someone if their family, like grandparents who work with jewelry and accessories, so it could make sense in a way. But the rabbit being athletic seems fitting too. Because rabbits run and 'hop' around. So the rabbit being a hiker and mountain also makes sense in a way too. Then maybe that would be used for part of Usagi's backstory? I might do that. Maybe she had a grandfather, or grandparents, who enjoyed working on accessories.

Now I actually want you to watch Iron-Blooded Orphans, after you did catch up on other shows and movies. Because I want you to see what I see.. How I'm envisioning these characters. And how I'd work on any canon and original characters, ships and just about everything else in the plot too. OCxRocky, OCxCobra.. Not sure about the other ships in the story yet but Naze's relationship with Amida officially reminds me of how I want the relationship between Rocky and my character to be though. If you were ever curious on how I'd imagine that ship being.

I know! That's weird. Obviously you can see that I can write.. Just any message I send you is like a fucking essay for most people. So I might be able to write stories. But I can't place my dreams and visions into a lot of words for some reason that I don't know. So then what the fuck.

I'm always living in my daydreams though. That's one of my problems that I can think of. But I can write when I think of words to use.. I hate this so much. This annoys me way more than it should. I hate writing.

If I was ever in that situation.. I guess it depends on who, and what, or why that happened. I might have all of those reactions if I was even in those situation so I can't blame your characters on their reactions. So yeah. I don't blame them. Anyway. As for my characters.. I don't know how they would react if they were caught kissing or having sex. Since I can't really imagine Cobra and Orange having sex in public, and I am not sure how their public affections are going to be between them for whatever reason. I'll have to figure that out the details about this ship.

Blue's already a shy character. So she might be even more shy if she's ever gotten caught being affectionate with another person in public. I could see that happening. She might be scared too, in the sense that, y'know, she might never be able to look people in the eye ever again.

I don't know about my Red or White/Green characters yet. So I'm just going to have to work on these characters soon.. To figure them out.

Blue would be embarrassed in a mortified way. Orange, Red and even White/Green are unknown in their reactions in the situation right now though. So I will have to tell you whenever I figure that out with them.

yea a lot of our classes were broken into specifics from like 10th grade to 12th. science got broken up into chemistry, biology, physics, and a basic overall science class. maths was broken into these (or four?) different difficulties. ancient and modern history and study of society and a kind of ‘intro to law/crime studies’ class. two different difficulties for english classes. we had a regular art class and a wood/metal workshop class that i cant rem the actual name of. but yea. lotta classes to pick from.

i didn’t finish the great gatsby when it was assigned in class but still got an A-grade overall for that term. i still read a little nowadays but not as much as i used to. i started buying the aib manga but haven’t started reading it yet. i also started the percy jackson series again this year, finished his dark materials, and i have song of achilles half-finished.

the dormouse just has to be short. pretty sure it’s one of the smaller characters in wonderland too. i mean, march hare and hatter could stuff it in a teapot. even in the original illustrations from the book, though larger than normal, it appears smaller than both the hare and hatter. at least in the movies (live actions and disney), they made it more regular dormouse sized. so i’m making her shorter. maybe an even 5’ or 4’11”.

kinda sucked for nijiro because a lot of his scenes were with tall babe kuina, as opposed to the one main girl who was shorter than him, usagi. rip ashklhddsgk

fun fact, did you know dormice aren’t true mice? they’re closer related to squirrels! it’s very obvious from their tails; they have fluffy tails in comparison to scaly mouse tails.

idk how much connection she’ll have with arisu, but she’s definitely connected with aguni and hatter. and chishiya obviously. she ends up being close with kuina and ann eventually too.

the card soldier is closest with hatter, aguni and the dormouse. as well as karube and niragi. he gets close-ish with heiya in the second season.

i’m mostly trying to make up games as needed for this. i made a bunch when i was doing edits for my previous two ocs, but now i’m being a little looser with it so i don’t get tied down to specifics.

of the actual canon games, i think i could see the dormouse in 2♠(since dormice are arboreal and i think it’d be a fun challenge for her), 10♥, J♥. maybe 4♣, 2♥, and J♣. then i’d have to make up others. there’s not a lot clubs games listed so they’re up for grabs. hearts too, with only one more game specified than clubs.

dori is just very lean and pretty. hell i don’t call him pretty so often in my fics for nothing agshdjdl. i don’t think it’s too surprising, since when i think ‘model’ i do think like. svelte and slender. unless it’s specified as an ‘athletic model’, like for sportswear and stuff. niragi’s a skinny smart nerd, not a strong athletic dude.

arisu becomes a psychologist iirc. probably inspired by mira, since they had a closer relationship in the manga.

pretty sure my daydreaming is the only thing that gets me through my work shifts most days. probably helps that i can think better when i’m walking around and i walk around for basically my whole shift.

i wish i could just plug in and put my thoughts down on paper without having to actually write it, but nope. gotta use my brain to figure out words. struggles of being a writer i suppose.

the boss wants the wife to move in with him. he bought this big fancy house for them to live in once he’s finished with his last piece of gang work.

the cop is being jealous again. he saw the necklace the boss gave her. very combative, seems like he doesn’t trust her, and is thinking she’s trying to protect the boss by telling him to stop the case. on her side, she’s worried it’s messing with her husband’s head - because he killed a couple guys in front of her and shredded the achilles of another. even the cop’s police boss was worried he was getting in too deep.

the semi-competent cop is digging into the wife because he saw her with the boss. he knows who the wife and the cop are now - but doesn’t know the cop’s face. yet.

the boss and the cop’s car got hit by a truck driven by one of their ex-drug dealers while they were transporting the drugs! it was supposed to be the drug transfer that got the boss arrested but now it’s fucked! the boys almost got blown up but boss got the cop out. that’s his bestie, his buddy!!!!

hi ex-friend came back to fuck with the boss! he told the drug dealer the route the boys were transporting the drugs on and stole all the boss’ money.

the boss’ knife guy captured the cop’s boss and beat him and the called the cop in to stab him after finding out the guy was pretending to be the wife’s husband.

another episode ending with a gunshot sound and a black screen. they sure do love using that.

it has been a long time since I’ve hopped in the ask box but unfortunately it will be the last time for a bit since I’m prepping for my exams. Luckily it ends on the 9th of March so I will probably make my presence known by then. Thanks to your posts about Alice in Borderland I actually watched the show and it is REALLY GOOD. My favourite is Ann and Arisu though Kuina, Chishiya and Usagi are quite close. Im almost finished with 2 episodes left so when I come back I’ll probably chat more about it.

Caught up with current eps of CDD drama and I just hafta write my thoughts on it

I'm not familiar with any of the main actors so it's nice that I don't have any comparison for their acting or have their previous roles influence my opinions. I don't watch AIB and while I knew Maito from Teppachi, he didn't stand out there either imo. While idol guy is definitely probably the most famous out of 4 (and bcs NCT universe was playing back to back and encore in one of my TV channels) I still had no clue about the actor.

Anw I didn't think I'd cringe so much watching ep 1 because of Hayate and burst into giggles here and there out of dumbfoundedness.

So they use the classic, exaggerated reactions you'd have seen in lots of older jp comedy dramas where the actors faced the camera in close-up and had them show myriads of expression while waiting for their inner voice finished talking.

Maito fits so much as Shun I must say, he brings out the childish arrogance of Shun that always wanted to look cool in just the right amount.

But I was thinking what if he played Hayate? I think he also had that flat expression that could turn shy and cute when needed. And ofc because he still looks so innocent as Hayate should be (this is myb due to his younger age as well)

Mima is the one that naturally played the blunder acting naturally, the timing and gestures feel like they're part of his body language, without any exaggeration or cue that we should pay attention to the act so we could've missed it. Which, I think no wonder bcz Sakurada is the one having the most experience in acting.

I have no idea about Souma's actor so I don't really have much to say. Just like Hayate, you can really 'see' that they are acting...but well, I can understand, when you have to giggle all the time is just not easy... And these two are evidently the characters who had to display a lot of 'unnatural' expressions to convey the comedy to the screen.

Having a restaurant as the setting of an office room layout kinda weirded me out tbh because it still looks totally like a restaurant. They could probably used more partitions and office chairs to set it as office cubicles though. But heh I get it, since they used many different sets for the scenes, if the drama wasn't big on the budget, setting up a big office room which would only appear once in a while, was prolly an unnecessary expense. But still it'd show up a lot later and they actually just need one small room (they could set it like how they did with Our Dining Table which is really simple and small but it really felt like an office).

I was surprised seeing the original scene where Hayate and Mima's first encounter wasn't in the front of Hakoniwa but at the izakaya instead? That actually could work out as well! But I guess it actually just serves as a filler scene. My guess is that since Hayate is the main character and the drama probably invested much of their budget on the actor, who is obviously the selling point of this drama, he would appear in every episode even if it's just filler scenes. Let's see if my prediction is right on the further eps. I'm actually looking forward to watching more of these original scenes since even combining 2 eps of anime into 1 ep of LA, the LA seems to have more slots for filler scenes.

Edit: I rewatched the anime and so Hayate was indeed there serving Mima and Souta at the izakaya he worked at, just in the anime the camera didn't show his face and only his voice. But it was the same izakaya and the same scene where Hayate struggled to remember the barrage of orders, it wasn't original scene of the drama after all. I didn't remember this happening in the manga. It's time to re-read then.

Tbh I was a bit skeptical at first whether to start watching the drama or not cz I'm not a fan of anime-turned-live action. But this one so far is nice to watch to kill time, especially since I don't have many on my watch list rn.

Quite suprised that the CDD drama used the same background music as the anime. Are they from the same production house or sth? Only peeked at the first few seconds...is it any good, tho? Myb I should watch the first ep this weekend

And the guy who played Mima looks younger than Hayate it's shocking to know he's actually older than me 😂 glad they keep their age hierarchy the same as the original characters.

Keiji looks good with red hair. I was really surprised to see him with so many other colors besides black, brown, blond and silver hair. But I'm liking the red on him too. And he also looks good with long hair too.

The only reason why I sent Ji's other pictures. I think him in suits, he'd be able to pull off being a gangster too. But that might be my opinion.

And his sunglasses photoshoot. Wearing those glasses actually made him appear more like a traditional police officer wearing the glasses.. I mean a traditional cop in media. Since you see those styles in media.

I know there are some difference between the manga and show.. Also the anime too. I don't know how true that is? Anyway. But I do know a lot of the differences though. So they did alter some details. Like their ages. Their occupations. Even backstories. Some things are different.

Maybe in the manga, Hatter was a prostitute in the Red Light District though. But, in the show, they definitely mention host clubs from any details that I can remember. I'll check again when I rewatch the show.

If and when I create characters for AIB.. Maybe I should base them on other characters from the AIW books, and I still have to figure out any face claims too - if I'm deciding to use new people instead of who I do have already. So there's that. And also which ships might happen too.

You don't know? Aguni's the Knave Of Hearts. Maybe I should send a list of which character is which character.. I was working on the whole list because I wanted to create my characters from book characters, I was trying to use characters that were not already used to begin with so that's why I was working on the list. So I'll have to work on that list.

Not only is Rocky more private during intimate times with his partner, but I could also see him preferring privacy because his wants to make sure his girlfriend's modesty his shown to anyone else who isn't him.

Actually... I doubt his office? Maybe. I don't know. I keep thinking that his office has windows. Like glass doors and windows, just like how in the whole building of Club Heaven. Unless there is closed off rooms if that were to happen. Kizzy might interrupt them on purpose though.

Like I said for Rocky. The only time I can imagine him having an entire exhibition kink is if he's having sex with his partner in front of a mirror because Rocky isn't the type of man to look away from his partner, so he would have sex in front of a mirror if they were in positions looking away from each other. But that's just my opinion about this though.

Hyuga's basically the opposite of Rocky in every situation. If you even think of one thing for one these character's, just assume the opposite for the other character. They're that predictable. Hyuga has no shame at all. He doesn't care who sees or hears anything. His poor girlfriend.

Yeah... I am having slight difficulty trying to imagine him having sex in public places. If he does have sex in public places, then it actually has to depend on the place though. But I can rarely imagine this though. I know Rocky and Cobra can be kinky in their own way, but not when it comes to severe kinks like that. That might be my opinion on this too.

Hyuga and Murayama are definitely the most exhibitionistic any time they're having sex with their partners. Maybe RB to some extent too.

I'm still iffy about the new season... I still haven't heard about the cast yet. If any of the original might come back. I would say the show may be ruined if they don't come back. In my opinion. Like, I like Arisu and Usagi, but they aren't enough for me to continue watching the show.

I do know for a fact that one of my romantic ships in AIB, would really with either Chishiya or Niragi. Not so sure about other romantic ships yet. Since I might have Arisu and Usagi staying together. I'm not sure.

Part of me is tempted to have four characters, only just because each character can represent every one of the card suit personalities.. But I think that might be too many characters though. So I don't know yet.

So! Apparently mafias, gangsters and loan sharks seem to enjoy their redevelopment projects. By redeveloping these expensive businesses all the time. Bloodhounds, High&Low, Vincenzo, Worst Of Evil are the more obvious examples. That seems to be a very common theme too.

Oh.. That explains some things. That makes much more sense to me.

i’ll have to look when i’m watching the show again, but i feel like it was referenced in the show as well. i checked but the aib wiki doesn’t have any details for the netflix show, only the manga.

how is aguni the knave? i don’t feel like he fits. i’ve seen him more compared to the march hare or the dormouse, for their connections to the mad hatter. i could see it in comparison to the movie version of alice in wonderland where they made the knave an assassin and soldier, but in the books he was just a bit character who was on trial after being accused of stealing the queen’s tarts. the march hare seems more fitting.

for my ocs, i’ve made ones based around the dormouse, the talking flowers, the card soliders, and one where i was flipping on between the duchess and the knave. i’ve mostly dropped the talking flower and the duchess/knave tho. mainly working on the dormouse and the card soldier now.

the dormouse is shipped with chishiya, and the card soldier is shipped with niragi (and karube).
