ok i'm just gonna ramble ab unmortricken bc i have exactly ZERO COHERENT THOUGHTS AB IT

evil morty backstory - i rlly like that they just made him some random morty who rose above everything after getting sick of rick's abuse. it makes what he did feel even more earned and weighty. i think his motivation is a bit extreme still but i can't rlly blame him.

it's cool seeing infinity beyond the central finite curve. the jetsons inspired bit was v amusing bc i forgot about them lmao. but otherwise it seems absolutely wild west beyond the curve and i LIVE for that.

i also didnt imagine that we'd be seeing him again. i thought the way he left the show was perfect and if they brought him back it would just feel cheap but it DOESNT in this episode i love his appearance.

i rlly like seeing our morty be supportive of rick. he's literally trying everything to cheer him up and it's very important to me.

the prime decoys confuse me. like do they all share a consciousness? is prime just very very good at fucking with ppl that he's made all the decoys communicate w each other?

evil morty outsmarting rick is a great recurring theme in the episode. "filter for probability stasis" YEAH U TELL HIM LITTLE DUDE. we've never seen a morty like that EXCEPT for him and i think it's wonderful.

the exchange between rick and evil morty. "you're such a narcissist" / "literal glass house" / "you think you're better than me?" / "jesus i HOPE SO" SHITTING

i didnt initially like the decoy trap thing being full of loads of other ricks. it made me feel like our rick wasn't very important to this dude and rick just made an enemy of a guy who didn't know he existed. BUT i don't stand by that anymore. the rest of the episode made me change my mind very quickly with.

the omega device. holy fuck this is the worst reveal to come out of this episode. she wasn't just killed, she was ERASED by prime in every reality. like she is GONE gone. that's why we've never seen her, save in flashbacks and memories. she's gone.

and i'm pretty sure it's our rick's fault that he did that. we see his beth and his diane be killed by a bomb, not wiped from reality like slo mobius is later in the episode. so his family was killed BEFORE all the shit with the omega device. ik correlation ≠ causation, but it rlly explains why our rick in particular is so hungry for revenge. if he was the one that made prime kill diane everywhere then he had to be the one to make prime pay for it.

i like how the multiple monitors seems to be prime's signature move. it happens here and in the s6 premiere.

and oh fuck the parallels. "when i invent something it works, it's called being talented" in story train vs "when i make a weapon in works."

oh man the diane head weapon thing. it's interesting that it was programmed to mock rick sexually, but even on our rick who knows it's a trap, it still affects him seeing her face again. "god i missed that face." and then the blank stare when she asks for a kiss. pretty sweet and fucked up.

rick and evil morty having to work together to get their portals working. the contrast between our morty freaking out and evil morty blank staring.

the bit with the portal closing too soon. i know it happened earlier this season and i think it's so funny lmao.

I CANNOT STRESS TO YOU ENOUGH THAT I WAS SO MADE WHEN I WORKED OUT THAT INSTEAD OF YELLING WHILE GOING THROUGH THE CURVE THING IN THE MIDFLE OF THE EP HE WAS SCREAMING "PRIME" THOSE DIABOLICAL LITTLE BASTARDS AT ADULT SWIM.

prime calling rick the Wife Guy. hilarious. raises questions. makes me gnaw on my cell bars.

AND THEN the second incredible reveal of the episode: "Honestly, Wife Guy, I do miss when it was just us. The only two Ricks who actually invented portal travel." WHAT bestie prime bby girl u need to say that again. you guys were the ONLY ones who invented interdimensional travel, every rick's claim to fame. but no they just got the technology from prime who started a boys club of ricks who wanted to leave their lives behind that our rick refused.

but the reference to a time when they were closer, when it was only them - HELLO?? maybe i'm grasping at straws bc i want them to bang but holy shit.

the confirmation of the fan theory that rick based his AI voice on his wife. 10/10.

and then the fight scene. oh gods the fight scene. rick just screaming that he'll kill prime. prime regenerating constantly, looking unscathed as our rick becomes more and more dishevelled. it's too perfect i CANT. but otherwise they both seem pretty evenly matched w all the implants and stuff so without the regeneration i think rick would've had him. oh well.

rick like literally died during the fight.

the cool grandson/shitty grandpa exchange gives me breath. i LOVE how it's a morty that outsmarts prime. it's what he deserves.

prime still trying to be a smartass to evil morty, growing more and more panicked as it goes on bc he doesn't know what to do with the situation and control for once is not in his hands.

"what are u gonna 'aw geez' me to death?"

evil morty not even explaining his plan, just silently dragging in our rick and reviving him. saying "knock yourself out" with the intended double meaning. prime's almost scared expression as rick gets dragged in.

and then our rick has a choice. he can stop evil morty from keeping the weapon plans or he can kill prime. but that's a choice he made already. it's not even a decision. so his other enemy gets away.

the brutal brutal scene at the end when rick is just hitting prime. no tech, no implants, no gadgets. just fists. and rick beats him literally to a pulp as prime screams and laughs at him and taunts him further. it's meant to be sickening. it's meant to be personal. and it accomplishes that perfectly.

they don't even show prime's body in great detail. it's RIGHT in the background but we heard the sounds of the punches, we saw his nose break and his bloody teeth and haemorrhaging eyes and his brains coming out the side of it head and all we can make out is his fucked up swollen and broken face in the background as he sits still attached to the chair, a river of his blood pouring from the room.

but its not triumphant. they made rick's revenge hollow and bittersweet. its over but it destroyed rick in the process. who is he now that he isn't hunting prime? fucking no one.

then "look on down from the bridge" starts playing. we heard this in season 1 in rick potion #9 after morty had to bury a version of himself. he was struggling with the purpose of his life after switching universes. but he deals with it and overcomes it.

i think that scene is rick, for the first time in the entire show, struggling with his nihilistic philosophy. bc yes, he's shown to be an existentialist in the show (the difference being existentialists are "nothing matters but this matters to me" instead of "nothing matters so i don't have to do anything"). he had a drive. he had ppl he cared about. but now he's reached his goal he just feels empty and hollow. everything's meaningless and he's NOT okay with that. he never has been, but he has to grapple with that finally now he doesn't have a distraction. i don't think he can just bounce back and move past what happened.

ppl are saying this episode felt overstuffed and maybe it was but i'm very pleased with it and want to know where it's going.

i feel we still don't know the full story with prime. i'm predicting a flash back episode in the future explaining what the nature of their relationship was like before the bomb incident.

we also know that evil morty has this weapon that could destroy all ricks. so that is just a ticking bomb.

anyway i can't wait for angsty rick.

i actually watched unforgiven for this episode bc i'm a big fan of westerns anyway. the only real parallels i can see is they both have a group of three (two are already partners and the other one is the call to adventure) and an unsatisfying ending. bc that's the nature of westerns. they should NEVER end happily, and if u think so then ur wrong (/nsrs enjoy media how u want).

some things i haven't mentioned but enjoyed nonetheless

the arm/leg swap best in the fight

the comparison between the song at the end playing here and in season one shows with just visuals how the dynamic of beth and jerry's (and beth's) marriage has evolved since then.

everyone freaking out when indiana jones rick shoots and it ricochets off the wall and evil morty just stands expressionless until it hits his forcefield.

morty going to hug rick covered in blood, realising, hesitating, and then doing it later anyway to try and make rick feel better.

evil morty making a point to say that he doesn't want vengeful summers coming after him for omega devicing rick. not vengeful mortys, vengeful SUMMERS.

just evil morty in this whole episode was an absolute delight i need to see him more.

THE TEAR MARKS AFTER RICK EMERGES FROM BEATING PRIME TO DEATH

slo mobius' wife almost going down the same path our rick did only to find someone she loves and focus on that, saving her. makes me wonder if they're gonna try putting rick in a relationship.

this ended up being way longer than it should have. anyway. very pleased. this season is hitting all the marks for me overall.

i think i like writing most about robert fischer:) ik it probably doesnt translate considering ive written most for jonathan crane but robert fischer is just such a little sweetheart to me,,, and can go both ways in being a sassy dom douchebag or being a sobbing daddy issues sub darling LOLLL i just think he has a lot of duality to delve into and develop (which ive definitely not done so far☠️) and it helps that his characterization in inception was also very surface level— i have a lot of wiggle room y’know??

i think im most proud of “dine & dash” which im aware probably no-one has read, but getting chris o’doyle’s sassy little dialogue down was like taming a wild beast,,, otherwise, considering my more well-known work, i rly liked writing “honey, i’m home”. i go crazy for the unhinged readers (if u couldnt alrdy tell lmaooo) and seeing jackson get messed with like that was a real treat.

i seriously just recommend anything by @mypoisonedvine,,, they’re literally genius & are the reason i started writing for cillian:)!! other mentions include kitten fics by @pictureinme and, a personal fave, @floralcyanidee’s jackson rippner mile-high club fic!!! these writers are all incredibly talented and im just blown away at their work every single time🫶

my thirst is such a big motivator for writing LMAO😭i wrote “guinea pig” ‘cus i wanted to absolute wreckkk jonathan crane and have him be a sub, and i got a 6.8k words long fic out of said thirst! music & book quotes motivate me a lot too— i spend sm time digging thru my pinterest for a good quote for the beginning of my fic its actually insane☠️and yes,,, im ashamed to say ive abandoned fics numerous times,,, but thats because they were series’, not oneshots. i get bored of series’ pretty quickly, ‘cause i feel kind of trapped by the initial dynamic or mood set in the first chapter. with oneshots, its like writing one long chapter of this trope and this kink or whatever and then its done, and i dont have to exhaust myself going back to tropes or kinks or storylines ive already done.

i think reading made me a better writer. expanding my vocabulary through the words of others was a biggie; seeing something be described in a certain way in someones story had me thinking of out-of-the-box ways to describe another thing (that doesn’t make much sense but lets pretend it does😭). i have many, many doubts about my work, like constantly, but i usually just suck it up. i sound like an attention whore but seeing the reposts & comments & tags on my other work reminds me people like what i’ve written before and certain people will enjoy what ive written now, so i should just finish my work for them. i also take like 100 years rereading my stuff until i think its good enough lmao,,,

ive kinda watched his whole roster of films (atleast ones i could actually find on the internet and not gone missing as a lost piece of media lmao) and i could probably write for any cillian character given i had a good idea and proper motivation. writing for certain characters is definitely harder for me to do though, so its likely i wont write for them/will take a long time to do so. an example is lenny miller— anna was such an insufferable movie to me, and lenny’s screentime wasn’t long at all, atleast not long enough for me to properly grasp his character. he just felt like a horny hardass fbi goof the whole time i could not take his 5’7 ass seriously😭cillian is smexy as hell in anna tho, so we’ll see😈another would probably be robert capa from sunshine,,, hes beautiful and deliciously musty in that but the whole spaceship setting kinda freaks me out (considering i know 0 zilch nada about space, spaceships, or anything of the sort, so it’d definitely be inaccurate). an au with him id definitely do, though! (with that hair of his my mind is already forming a 90s band au, guitarist!capa x singer!reader story…)

I usually don't chime in for things like this but I wanna put in my own yap too about my special interest despite me heavily focusing on the lemons buuuuut this concerns them and I love worldbuilding and making sense of how their syndicate even works and headcanoning stuff about what happened offscreen. BIG OL' POST WARNING. I always was a supporter of Leland(pixar can u stop throwing away good characters w so much potential smh wheres my Finn and Leland backstory hmmmm???) was on a ship during the filming of that transmission and can offer high quality pictures of his scene(It isn't much since its purposely made grainy and pixelated but I figured it would still help) thats very telling to me he's prob on a ship esp w the structure of the metal on the side, reminds me of a hull imo and a bunch of other stuff I'll get into further down. You guys seemed to point out alot of things I noted.

(the last pic makes me crack up so bad I had to use it but anyway)

Because unlike irl where the workers on rigs are usually delivered via helicopter the lemons just wanna be special and load workers and cargo via cruisers, good on them I guess and I suppose because they're so large its just more suitable and efficient that way. How else would he get there anyway if thats their main method? And not to mention I was shown pictures of a Cars 2 book that pretty much implies the camera was delivered to the rig and was a prototype.

Another thing that pretty much supports this theory is that once Finn tries contacting him all the bustle is about unloading cargo and crates and during those scenes you can see the ship opening up a bay for the crane dude to assist on getting it all on the platform. Also the Leland cube was in a crate as well. ALSO, when it pans to a full shot where Grem speaks Lelands crate is NOWHERE to be seen until the prof is called over(tho oddly the forklift showing the box w the camera comes in from a dif angle from the left like it wasn't on that ship, so thats odd... perhaps they didn't think about that? Or perhaps since the crane dude is totally ok w just dropping other pieces of cargo anywhere... really don't want to believe the first bc this is pixar we're talking about)

As for who crushed him. It was def Acer and Grem. During the intro before Leland drives off you can hear a "Lets go!" in the background that eerily sounds close to Acer(Trust, when u basically have the movie on ur pc and cropped nothing but those two speaking or just existing on screen and also have all of their video game dialog its like, yknow. I am mentally ill about those two) They are second in command(Chief Henchcars according to the book I mentioned) and were the two to find him going by this info. And not to mention the silhouettes are def a Pacer and Gremlin(Though as to why the roofrack isn't there I have no clue LOL. The light bloom is prob too strong for it to be shown?? But the car on the right... it looks too square-ish and the roof is too flat to be just another Pacer to me and I'm obsessed w Gremlins, I know that shape anywhere.)

As for the coordinates that's really interesting it leads to somewhere in Alaska where its prob one of the many onshore base of operations they have. I wanna go by the hc he snuck on during cargo loading and they perhaps caught a glimpse of someone sneaking on and were suspicious and eventually went to check it out. And I suppose when Finn got there he arrived soon enough to where Tony was almost to the rig, but too late for Leland. Makes me question what the hell they even have on those ships to crush a entire car, dawg like what are u a swiss army knife ik they are former US military ships but??? Kinda scary to think about the conversation Grem, Acer, and any other lemons accompanying them must've had about it. Sending a message to the prof. To let him know and make the final decision on his fate. Prof just prob knew who it was by their description since Finn and Prof know each other he prob is aware of Leland too since he said his name before he was revealed. He's a scary dude that freak. By my headcanon with this here, all three of them are responsible, Prof Z made the call to dispose of him and the two did his dirty work like they always do.

Anyway I am done for now taking little details here and there waaaayyy too seriously, and probably some of it was never meant to be analyzed that hard but idc I wanna make sense of it and its fun. Its alot to take in but I love getting my brain going and THINKING. It was fun to write this.

So a while back, @little-red-irish-jaguar reblogged one of my posts with this devastating theory. The theory was that Leland sent Finn the transmission from Tony Trihull instead of the oil rigs. My first thought was to reject this theory because it went against my preconceptions that were so firmly rooted that my brain immediately sought to preserve them. However after rewatching the movie and studying the evidence, I can safely say that I was wrong. This theory tracks. And I will now write another essay to assess the evidence.

Firstly, the transmission itself: now it’s EXTREMELY hard to see shit in this video. The quality is god-awful and Leland never won any awards for videography. However this glorious angel on deviantart cleaned up some frames. (I’m not going to repost their art though since they don’t seem to be active in the fandom anymore and I don’t want to repost without permission. :/ ) but definitely go check it out!

So I’ll post the same shitty screenshots from the movie. Shoutout to veggieboy ultimate for uploading the opening scene on YouTube.

So there’s crates and metal reinforcements on the walls behind him. It does look like it could be on the oil rig.

Then he angles the camera to show this (port window?) like babygirl we can’t tell what that is… anyway it looks like a window of some sort and there fire. Now. That looks an awful lot like a round ship’s window.

Finally we get this weirdass shot of the ceiling? Again it’s very hard to tell what this is but it’s some sort of mechanical bay door that is closing.

Like it could be that? Tony does have cargo bay doors and that could be what we’re seeing.

Now the icing on top are these pieces of concept art from the Pixar website. That window porthole is drawn without all the overexposure and it looks just like the flair stacks from the oil rigs. And that’s why Leland is trying to get it in frame to show Finn. He’s seen the oil rigs from the ship. But that’s the last we see of him.

Next, we see Finn hightailing it out there to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Here’s the kicker, the coordinates Leland gives Finn do not take him to the oil rigs.

(And for my even shittier stills) Crabby takes him to the coordinates and is like lol okay here we are! There’s lot of water!!

Now this always confused me as a kid. Was Crabby off with the coordinates? Did he stop too soon? But then if Leland sent the coordinates from Tony Trihull, it makes sense why those coordinates would lead to open water and not the oil rigs. The oil rigs may not be at those coordinates…

but he sure is: the ship Leland sent the coordinates from.

Next we see Finn by the loading dock and he comms Leland to let him know he’s there. Now this threw me off. Finn tells him he’s at the rally point but he’s not at the coordinates Leland sent him. I guess he figured this is where Leland ended up? (I mean he wasn’t wrong, unfortunately.)

Then we see the professor. He’s there because of the camera which they’re loading onto the ship because they’re about to sail to Japan because of the race. But they’re also unloading crates from the ship and it’s one of those crates that Leland’s body is in. He’s being unloaded from the ship which is where he was likely murdered.

As for my finishing thoughts. There’s a lot to unpack here. Leland never made it to the oil rigs alive which is a tragedy of its own that he died before he got to see what he’d discovered up close.

He had a lot of faith in Finn to be able to find him from coordinates he sent from a boat. And that faith was well founded. Finn did in fact find him albeit too late.

Since he wasn’t on the ship at the time, Professor Z was not the one who killed Leland (though he may have ordered him killed) it was likely Acer and Grem who killed him—which makes sense since they seem to be the more sadistic of the lemons in later scenes—but I still hate Zundapp just because he was involved in it!

And Finn did in fact get his revenge at the end of the movie in London when he blew Tony Trihull to smithereens. (I’d add the screenshot but I’m at my 10 image limit already XD)

Ok um so i have no idea how to say this but like I’m just gonna word vomit for a bit

So basically I’m having a gender identity crisis rn and like i have no freaking idea what to do abt it. I honestly would love to switch my pronouns to either they/them or she/he but my family would never do that and i dont think i could even ask them to cause they dont believe in that sort of stuff (fucking sucks ik) but yh. I was technically born a girl and like sure sometimes i feel like one but other times I’m just like ew wtf is that no and i rly wanna be a boy or like androgynous. Problem is i could never even remotely look like a guy no matter what i wear (im short and have a feminine looking baby face, like literally ppl often think I’m like 5 yrs younger than i actualluy am)

Also every time someone says my name i like genuinely flinch and i feel kinda nauseous and i rly rly rly wanna ask ppl to call me something else like Liam or Alex but idk how to ask and I’m not sure if they will and if my fam hears them calling me that then I’m in deep shit. Also i have a feeling that once a couple of ppl start calling me what i want to be called i will get used to it and i will hate my real name and pronouns and stuff even more and I’ll never be able to change it and then I’ll just be trapped having to pretend to be someone I’m not

Finally just to add the final nail into the fucked up coffin that is my life... i go to an all girls school and ppl already find it strange how i literally wear hoodies and trackies or jeans everyday. If ppl saw me dressing like a boy then they’d be like rly curious but like not in a positive way. It would be in a sorta “why to did u do ur hair like that and dress that way it makes u look rly weird” and i would get loads of questions, probs from the teachers too and like class sizes r tiny (5-8ppl) so theres like no way of hiding in a crowd either.

If anyone has like any advice at all on what to do then pls pls pls help me cause like my mental health is already rly shitty and like i know it’s gonna get worse the more i stress abt this

“Fuck. I’m faded, dude,” David groans to Ilya, lighting a cigarette, “You know Y/N? Be nice to her. She’s a good girl, and she’s gonna be around more. So, like, don’t make me look like an idiot.”

“Ohhhh, what is this? Is Davey catching feelings? For a one-night stand? What is this world we’re living in?” Ilya mocks, sitting on the couch next to David, “Dima, do you hear this?”

David smacks the fuck out of him haphazardly, cig between his lips as he takes a drag and takes it between his fingers, “I haven’t fucked her, dickhead. I haven't even gone down on her. She’s a virgin, not that it’s any of your business.”

“Bro, she’s too cute. Hit it and quit it,” Ilya shrugs, “Remember when you swore off girlfriends, like, two years ago?”

David shrugs, smoking, “Maybe it’s time for that to change. I want her to be my girl. She’s good for me.”

“You just know your mom will like the cross around her neck,” Ilya comments, “I’m joking, bro. You like her that much?”

David sucks his teeth and bites at his lips, “I think so. She’s just so shy…”

Ilya tuts, scoffing, “You like that shit, dude. Don't act like you don't. You’re a controlling bitch. You’re not exactly an easy guy to get along with, Dave.”

“I know that,” he says, standing, “Whatever. Be nice to her, dude. You too, Dima. She’s on her way over.”

“I don't know how you haven't fucked her already, bro,” Dima finally says as he walks in, “She’s cute as fuck.”

“You think I don’t know that?” David puts his cigarette out, “She’s tight as fuck. Like…”

He size compares with his fingers, making a circle and whistling, “Nothing fits. We’re going slower than I thought we would. Super-hot, though, not gonna lie — no complaints from my end. I’m gonna shower before she gets here, and we’re gonna hang with you guys. She’s staying the night.”

David showers and you make your way to his place, already in pajamas, ringing his doorbell. David is sat on the couch again, quickly standing and pointing between Ilya and Dima, quietly warning them, “Be nice, fuckheads.”

He answers the door, pressing a kiss to your lips, “You can just come in, baby. No need to ring it.”

Ilya peeks around to the front door as David shuts it and gently places his hands on your waist, rubbing affectionately and asking, “I’m gonna make myself a drink – you want one?”

“Oh, he’s fucking whipped, dude,” Ilya tells Dima, nudging him, “Look at that shit.”

Your arms wrap around his neck as you say Yes, please and kiss him again, proudly telling him, “I missed you.”

“Mm,” he hums into your kisses, “I missed you, too.”

Dima fake gags at the sight before you and Dave make your way to the kitchen, acting as if they weren’t watching. He half-assedly introduces you again, “Y/N – you know the pieces of shit that I live with.”

You bashfully greet them as David pours himself a whisky neat, taking a slow sip, “What do you want, sugar?”

“What do you have?”

“What do you want?” he repeats himself, watching you lean over his counter and shamelessly glancing down the neckline of your shirt.

“I could really use a glass of wine if you have some,” you admit, blushing at the way his eyes travel around and he peeks over your shoulder at your ass, “Anything red. Or pink. Or white. Anything. Work was horrible today.”

David rolls his eyes, voice going low as he pours you a glass, “I don’t. I did it once, like two years ago, and he hasn’t stopped eating my ass over it. Here, baby. Cheers.”

“Cheers,” you repeat, clinking your glass with his as he motions his head towards the living room, a silent indicator to move.

You do, following him and allowing him to tug you into his lap as you both sit down. David wraps his arm around you, grilling Dima, “Dima, dude, can you just...like, clean up after yourself? For once?”

“I do!”

“You literally don’t, bro,” he gripes, laughing and passing his drink to you so he can light a cigarette, “It’s not like it’s constant. You, like, let it pile up and then clean up. Who does that? Literally, look at the coffee table right now.”

Admittedly, it is super messy, and Dima knows it, but David continues, “Pick up your fucking empty lean cups, bruh. It’s not a dump.”

David takes his drink back from you and sips at it, pressing a chaste kiss to your temple, before Dima replies, “Fine. Whatever. I will, but I can't move right now. I’m too high.”

“Are you high?” you ask David, grabbing at his face by his cheeks and looking into his eyes.

“Maybe,” he responds, eyes red, answering your question before you remove your touches, “Why? You wanna smoke? I could do another blunt.”

You shrug, shaking your head, “Not right now. Let me finish my drink.”

“...Is Ilya okay?” you ask David as he puts his cigarette out and begins to lazily kiss down the column of your throat, not paying attention to anything else.

“Huh?” he says, glancing over at his friend, knocked out on the couch, “Oh, yeah. Don’t worry about him. He went into work super early today and took a Xanax like, an hour ago.”

You and David both finish your drinks and sink further into the couch, quietly cuddling and kissing. He’s further gone than he’d like to admit – he’s already smoked two blunts and four packed bowls by himself – and it’s beginning to fully hit him.

“Babygirl, I am so fucking high,” he admits, clearing his throat, “I’m starving. Smoke something. I want you to be high with me.”

He laces both of your hands together, and you realize he’s not asking, but telling – so you accept, nodding your head.

“Okay,” he shrugs, “Roll a blunt, then.”

“Like...by myself?” you ask him, anxious at the thought of him watching you most likely fail.

“Yeah, why not? The other day, I showed you how to. Everything’s on the table. Dima’s even more faded than I am, so don’t freak out. ‘S just me.”

Again, he’s not asking you – he’s telling you to.

So, you sit up and attempt to get it over with, reaching for a random razor blade and a pack of blunts.

David quickly sits up and takes the blade from you, “Nonono. No, baby. Holy shit, no. Why is this still fucking here?”

“What?” you ask confusedly, watching him get up and throw it away.

“Some girl one of these shitheads brought home the other night was trying to do something – I don't even know, probably coke – and cut her finger and bled all over that shit,” David washes his hands and sits back next to you, sighing deeply.

“Sorry,” he drapes his arm around you, kissing your head comfortingly, “Keep going. That’s not your fault, baby.”

You reach for another one on the table and look at him for permission, continuing once he approves with a nod. You do as you remember him telling you to, feeling him watch your every move as you load the grinder.

“More,” he comments, eyes cutting to you and shrugging, “Just a little bit.”

You do add more and grind it, and you carefully dump it into the honey blunt wrap you just emptied. You even it out with your fingertips, gently packing it. You roll one edge in and he stares as you lick the wrap carefully, sticking it.

“Good job,” he praises, moving to light a cigarette, “You did well. Now, smoke it.”

“By myself?”

“Yeah? You can do it,” David presses, “I’m already faded. One blunt by yourself should get you pretty close to where I am.”

“Fine,” you say, reaching for his Zippo.

“Don’t get an attitude with me, sweetheart,” he rubs at your back casually, cig sitting between the first and second knuckles of his index and middle finger, “There’s no need. It’s not fun to deal with, anyway.”

You ignore him, lighting the blunt and beginning to hit it. You don’t say anything as David gets sucked into whatever garbage is on TV, absentmindedly taking puffs of his cigarette until he finishes it.

“Oh, fuck,” you curse as you finish it, putting the roach out, “Oh, fuck.”

David laughs at you as you dig your head into his shoulder, hands wrapping around his bicep, “I told you.”

You close your eyes, breathing him in, “Jesus. You smell so good.”

“I think we should go upstairs, baby,” standing and grabbing his cigs and lighter, tugging him along with you.

“Are we gonna fuck?”

“No,” he scoffs, laughing at you, “We’re not. Stop cursing. Come on. The guys are knocked out.”

You roll your eyes at him and take his hand, following him up and getting into bed with him. David takes you into his arms and kisses you, intending for it to be sweet, before you run your hand entirely down his front. “Ugh,” you roll your eyes, removing your touch, “Okay.”

He trails off for a moment, fingers pushing up the hem of your t-shirt as you listen to every word he says, knowing he’s right about every single part before he continues, “You think about me when you're making dinner, showering, making coffee, doing laundry, whatever; you wish I was there with you. But at home, you’re by yourself, and you can touch yourself at home. You probably try to, thinking about me and the things I could do to you, but you don't really know how to and it doesn't feel good yet, so you give it up and hope that the next time we see each other I’ll supply at least something.”

“Am I wrong?” David asks, glancing down and meeting your eyes. You shake your head no and he scoffs, fingertips rubbing delicately at the skin of your hips.

“I know I’m not. You think about me during church?”

Your eyes widen and a mortified blush comes to your cheeks, but you can't lie to him – you clear your throat and tell him, “Um, yes.”

❗️spoilers for LoK❗️(like half of its spoilers lmao)

omg this is a LOADED question!! aang will always have a special place in my heart, and he went through so much so young. he took responsibility when he was no where near ready and did an amazing job!! (i don’t think the way that his parenting style was explained in LoK was accurate to his character arc and was just used to develop his kids character’s and humanize him but that’s a whole different rant) he also stayed true to his beliefs in a really well written way in the finale, and just has one of the best character arcs and has one of purest hearts. he was an amazing avatar and changed the world in his time buttttt, korra enemies that were way worse!! she faced the spirit of evil incarnate and won, was tortured by zaheer, brought back the airbenders, balanced the spirit and mortal world, had her bending taken, and took out a dictator with an insanely powerful weapon. the show portrays her mental health journey in a way never explored in atla and she grows so much as a person throughout the series. korra is not a perfect person. she’s arrogant, impulsive, stubborn, and kinda mess sometimes but she learns from her mistakes and becomes a kind, merciful, and mature person by the end of the series (also wlw rep makes me go godysiskxhosksidoskxjdi). one of the reasons the show gets so much distain is for a few reasons in my opinion.

1. the plot fuels the character development while in atla the character development fuels the plot

2. the show was originally written to have one season. each time they made a new season it was expected to be the last but nickelodeon was like aha sike make another one after the last episode was written to be the conclusion. so there isn’t much flow between the seasons but i still think they did a great job with it!!

3. not to be controversial but i stg some of y’all just hate seeing women be flawed and powerful. (i see the same shit with katara discourse... of course she talks about her trauma a lot!!! she’s 14 and it dictates her entire way of life???? plus it’s a way to relate to ppl shut the fuck up u guys suck) like she’s not perfect and that’s the point!!!!! neither was zuko or sokka but we all love them!!! it’s the character development that’s important!!! people/characters change!! especially korra!!! which is one of the reasons i love her!!! (i’m have the big gay for her ok??? wlw himbo rights.)

in conclusion i am indecisive and love them both and they are just so different. both are amazing but korra objectively did more avatar-y stuff in the series??? on the other hand aang is baby and i would die for him.

But i either can't find it or it was never issued to me from my last insurer. what do i do? now my policy has been cancelled and need to set up some temporary cover. I have 4/5 years no claims.
