The Eternal Flower Files: Sacred Geometry
Eternal Flower Floette is the mysterious, special Floette that AZ inherited from his late mother. It wields a strange, ancient red flower that holds terrifying power:
"Terrifying energy is concealed within its ominous flower, but Floette still swings it about innocently." (UltraMoon)
So. What is the Eternal Flower?
We associate flowers with the cycle of life in general - they bloom, they wilt, and then the plant grows again. When it comes to the symbolism around Eternal Flower, we see this theme of "life, death, and rebirth" over and over, likely referring to Floette's resurrection.
Flowers are a prominent symbol in Sacred Geometry. In some New Age beliefs, the ancient Flower of Life pattern symbolizes life, death, and rebirth, as well as the interconnected universe. The pattern maps onto the Eternal Flower pretty well.

Certainly Eternal Flower Floette is powerful and significant in the lore, but this connection might suggest that the Eternal Flower itself has broader powers than just destroying things.
Many flower symbols are drawn with overlapping circles, which represent a continuous, eternal cycle. When writing about the Flower of Life, people often compare the progression of each phase of the pattern to cell division. What Pokemon do we know that represents cells?

Another major flower symbol is the triquetra, an ancient trinity symbol that comes from three overlapping circles. (Shown in the third phase of the Flower of Life diagram.) The Eternal Flower is made up of three triquetrae, really emphasizing the number three:
In many Christian denominations, the triquetra symbolizes the Holy Trinity. In Celtic tradition, the triquetra, or the trinity knot, can, again symbolize the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. There is also a stylized triquetra on either side of AZ's Ultimate Weapon:

This is yet another connection between the Eternal Flower and the Ultimate Weapon - besides the fact that it blooms into a giant version of the Eternal Flower. Did AZ use the power of the Eternal Flower to build the Ultimate Weapon?
The Flower of Life pattern also seems to point to a strong relationship between Eternal Flower Floette and Zygarde. It's actually an effective symbol for Zygarde, considering how people compare the phases of the Flower of Life to cell division. Also, each individual bloom in the of the Flower of Life pattern is hexagonal.

Every inch of Zygarde is a hexagon. Imagine, each of them as a continuing Flower of Life pattern the same way a palace wall is covered with it.
If Xerneas and Yveltal symbolize life and death, then Zygarde fittingly represents rebirth, as a collection of cells that can take a number of forms. This also fits the title "Z-A" which many fans have taken to mean "the end, and a new beginning". That begs the question: what is beginning? What is being reborn?

i don’t get it.
"I don't—get it," May said, her forehead creased and she almost stomping her foot on the floor. She would, thought Anne quite fondly, if she had not turned thirteen earlier this month. May consider thirteen as a very sacred age. Anne believed she would bounce into the sky once she turned sixteen. "Why do you have to stop teaching? Why do you even have to get married? You've never been afraid of anything, Miss Shirley, even of an old maid life! And it isn’t as awful as the older women said to us. Ms. Stacy isn't married either, and she's doing fine!"
"Ms. Stacy is a widow." Anne reminded her, recollecting how she had called her beloved teacher's love story tragic. At fourteen, all Anne wanted was a wonderful love tale with a sad, romantic ending. Now, at twenty-five, she only wanted something tangible to hold onto. Her chronicles would not be without sadness; they might have their own tragic part, but most importantly, it was hers and Gilbert's to live.
"Still husbandless and able to teach! And you love to teach," May pouted. "Well, except geometry. But you love it very deeply, and the kids like you very much. I don't see why you should just give it up, Miss Shirley. Being a wife doesn't sound like leaving many scoops for adventure; it's all cooking, cleaning, and taking care of stinky babies. "
"Oh, May." Anne smiled, couldn't help feeling a little amused. "I assure you, I have plenty of scoop for imagination how my wedding journey might turn out."
"I still want you to be my teacher forever," May said in a resigned, forced tone. "This isn't fair. You're even moving out of Avonlea."
Anne had thought it was unfair too, how she was required to give up her teaching career to marry someone. How frustrating it was that she couldn't have both at the same time. She had cried several times on her pillow and Diana's shoulder for it.
But Gilbert wasn't just someone. If it was another man, Anne might be trying to delay the matrimony any longer, and whoever he was would soon lose his temper with all her doubts and fears. But this was Gilbert; Anne loved him more than anything on earth ("I think your Snow Queen's newly blossoms and Butterscotch are always above me in the things you love, Anne.") and she wanted to make a home with him.
"Listen, May," said Anne quietly, cupping May's hand in hers and lowering her head slightly to level their eyes. "I'm terribly sad and heartbroken to leave all of you. If I could not do it, I swear I would stay and teach here forever. But I couldn't do it like I couldn't stay in Avonlea until my last moment. My future husband had to start his practice somewhere else. And will you keep a secret for me?"
"What?" May's blue eyes widened.
"I had been afraid to do it—to marry and leave my dear Green Gables and the rest of life in the home I've built here," Anne told her cautiously. "But I realized that people can have more than one home. I never have to choose. Ms. Stacy told me once that love hasn't finite and cannot be quantified. Whatever life I will build with my husband in the future will not diminish the precious darling life I leave behind here."
"You were afraid?" May asked in surprise like she had just looked at Anne in a whole new light.
"Yes, I was." Anne nodded. "But I decided to move forward into the future with him. And part of that decision was to resign from teaching at the school. It's just how life works, May, cause and effect are intertwined together. I'm not giving my life away. He's my best friend, my kindred spirit, my equal, and my partner. He would never ask me to abandon the desire of my heart. But dreams do come and go and may change. That's alright. My calling doesn't stop at being a teacher. There will be new ones."
May looked down, silent, and Anne was nervous she would start crying. She didn't; she just looked a little teary and then mumbled. "You don't make your love story sound romantic. Don't all girls want romance?"
Anne failed to hold her burst of laughter. She moved May's right braid behind her shoulder and couldn't help but think how young she was. "My friends and I wanted it too when we were schoolgirls."
"Lily wants a handsome, rich beau who can sweep her off her feet," May uttered with a serious look. "Like a prince in a fairy tale. Did Reverend Spurgeon's wife do that too?"
Anne chuckled, recalled about the wide-eyed little Ruby in the story club shack, with all the male characters with names ending in -bert. "At your age, she was so like Lily. And I, May, once wanted someone who was melancholy and extraordinarily tall and dashing."
"Dr. Blythe is rather short..." May looked at her hesitantly. "And he laughs a lot, Miss Shirley. Is there anything melancholic or dashing about him? Does that make your story unromantic? But certainly, you have to love him extremely much. Gertie Pye's mother said so because you've been courting forever. You even willing to linger on and wait until he finished medical school and a poor young man like him doesn't have a penny in his own name."
"No, he's not melancholic at all." Anne laughed. There was an inevitable sorrow in Gilbert, like her own, but he indeed was far from the gallant hero she had ever envisioned. Still, Anne wouldn't have him the other way. Her kind, brilliant, loving, big-hearted, hard-working, patient Gilbert; her favorite soul in every universe. "He did offer to slay a dragon for me when we first met—but that's not the point, May. He wasn't a billionaire or a prince. We have our own romance; it wasn't the same as the fantasy of my girlhood but contains the reality of him. And I can't imagine anyone else I’d love to spend the next fifty years with
May was silent for a while, then straightened up and sniffed. "I still don't understand why," she declared valiantly, though her tears were gathering and the corners of her lips were trembling. "But I pray you and Dr. Blythe have a wonderful, joyful, and blessed life, Miss Shirley, wherever that may be."
"Thank you, May." Anne was on the verge of crying herself until May bumped into her with full force, wrapped her arms around her waist, and started sobbing. Anne automatically hugged her back, stroking her hair. "Study hard, will you? And practice spelling for the essay. Soon you'll be preparing for the Queens' entrance exam."
May distanced herself and nodded, looking incredibly embarrassed as she wiped her tears with her handkerchief. Anne gave her one last proud smile before she left, and she packed the rest of her things in the teacher's room.
When she closed the school building door, the first sight she saw was Gilbert waiting with a wide smirk. He said softly, "Hi."
"Hi," Anne beamed back, making sure May had long strolled home, before tiptoeing to press her lips against his. Mrs. Lynde would be shaken and talking about how indecent it is to kiss like that so close to a place to educate young minds, but she was not here, thank goodness.
Gilbert leaned his forehead against hers; Anne could see faint green flecks in her warm brown eyes. "Thirty more days," he murmured.
"Towards our twelve years of knowing each other.”

Monument Valley I & II (Proto-TBTG)
So I realize how long it took to get that last issue out, and unfortunately though there have been longer pauses (November 2019 to March 2020, jesus christ), the next issue I have planned is going to be another experimental one, and a two-parter. That might take a while. So, in the meantime, here’s a piece on Monument Valley I did for a short-lived blog I had. It’s much more of a ‘review’ than TBTG, but hopefully it still proves to be insightful. Everything except for the cover photo and specifications footer at the end is reproduced from the original blog entry.
Monument Valley is a series of puzzle games for mobile devices, and if you haven’t heard of them, then I’m rather shocked. The general concept of the two games in the series is that the player must navigate the protagonist of the game from point A to point B by manipulating an environment of M.C. Escher-esque impossible architecture. Aside from that, another easily evident feature of the game is its beautiful aesthetics—simple graphics combining with elegant colours to make a recognizable art style. The game’s developers are readily aware of this, too, as both games have a built-in screen capture function. It’s a very good example that having good graphics is not the same as actually looking good. The vibrant, non-realistic colours help the sense of play in the surreality of the logic behind the mechanics.
Progression in Monument Valley don’t seem so much like puzzles as exploring the games’ world, as getting to where I wanted to go was mostly just a couple of maneuvers away. Only a few of the chapters in Monument Valley ever gave me serious trouble, and a few involved me just missing an obvious solution. However, this is hardly a criticism-- mobile devices are most conducive to games where progress can be achieved in-between other tasks, such as traveling on public transport. In this respect, Monument Valley is very good--the levels take only a couple of minutes or so to complete, and they were never frustrating. I also doubt that the developers of the game wanted to make long, complicated levels, regardless of the game’s platform. The game is focused on making the world seem alive (not to mention the story), and the gameplay being focused around exploring the function of each monument without it feeling like it’s overstayed its welcome plays into that.
However, sometimes the series seems a little focused on novelty and spectacle, especially within the context of content beside the core ten chapters in the first game. There some features, such as twistable monuments (allowing the player to change what faces of a surface they walked on) introduced in the Forgotten Shores expansion that are more or less forgotten in the sequel in favor of adding new mechanics.

Alongside that, there’s also the story of the two games. Monument Valley I follows Ida, a princess who has returned to restore the monuments as atonement for… stealing the sacred geometry that is integral to them, apparently. The story is mainly conveyed through the bits of mysterious dialogue spoken by the spirits of Valley’s architects that Ida occasionally meets when moving between doorways. Monument Valley II follows descendants of the Valley people, Ro and her daughter. The two also seem to restore the monuments in some sort of fashion with beams of light, but the real focus of their story is the coming-of-age ritual the child undergoes and how it affects both her and her mother. In going with that, Monument Valley II also builds on the previous game by having two controllable characters for more complex puzzles.
The mechanics of that are also used to help reinforce the story, as at the beginning of the game, the child follows as the player singularly controls Ro and the puzzles revolve around how to navigate Ro in a way that will get the child to move to whatever will progress the game. This happens for a while until there’s a level in which Ro more or less takes a back seat (the game keeping her in carefully sectioned off areas of the monument for most of the chapter) while the child traverses the game world. This all has the player become accustomed to the two characters, and given an expectation that the game will next transition into controlling the two characters together. The next level starts out simple: Ro and the child are in some sort of city-scape, walking down a long stretch of linear path going down some stairs, and as the screen scrolls down, it’s revealed that the stairs lead to another stretch of path down to a boat. You lead the two to the boat, the child hugs her mother good-bye, sets sail, and the chapter ends. This is very strong in using the mechanics to allow the player to feel Ro’s situation-- bonding with and becoming used to the child’s presence, and then having to deal with the absence. This is reinforced by the player playing through levels wherein Ro journeys and reminisces on the past while waiting for her daughter, before ‘the rest of the story’ is filled in, and they can play as the child going on her quest. In the final level, the two are reunited and the player then controls them together to finish the child’s induction into becoming an adult. Generally, I’d say that Monument Valley II is stronger in that it has more complex levels and that the story and mechanics are more tightly interwoven; make no mistake that both are very excellent. If you haven’t heard of Monument Valley, or if you had but haven’t played it yet, or if you have but you haven’t played it in a while, or some other scenario, the series is a lovely and is a great experience for a some (relatively) small money.

Geometers, the fools! Square your abcs! thinks he can square it all away at this point – of cosecant. Loopy runic language – in-between their addressing adoring acrostics to Victorian ten-year-olds, the Oxford dons conjugated the U – nions of all “A”s and “B”s across Gladstonian ranks and Disraelifiles of logogryphic chessboards en passant to categorically mock tautologic conclusions.
The first straight-edge! It doesn’t exist in natural nature – not till Og is sufficiently starved to crack rock down on rock, and then when just by luck it’s volcanic glass it fractures in near-perfect orthogonality, acutely enough to sever carotids. From there to the multiple magics a triangle can do –
When I was summoned to the board in tenth grade, applying calcareous marine chalk remains to laminae of metamorphic Martinsburg slate, to attest to the sacred symmetry of mysterious features lurking in the corners of gothic rhomboids, i.e. a “proof,” I invoked the power of the pythaGORean theORem. Just give it a slice slanting halfaways downward with that there bronze sticker of yore, and now LOOK – no, no you can’t eat it – the outline of the cut! It’s the ORBIT OF JUPITER, man! Well, an “ellipsoid,” brain boy, EVERYWHERE you look all the things you see and are and are made of are made of these same simple toys, like circles and lines dots and triangles thisangles thatangles. No mystery at all, it’s just put together out of a kit you could fit with your sox in a box. So now, as long as you got your angle covered, we can relax.
It don’t take them much longer to square off the circle, or is it vice versa - just keep making the edges tinier and tinier and more millions of them until you’d go blind trying to see it was anything but round. Voila. In their magical world every new line keeps forcing itself to bend tight to that perfect and innocent circle, as in actual fact nothing will do in real life, nothing nowhere in nature or fantasy; in actual practice, instead of on paper, if you keep adding little thorns, thistles and hairs like from cosmic the hedgehog all you really come up with’s a thickness of brambles as black as the grave…. nothing calculable, nothing ‘quantum,’ nothing pursuing an angle or curve; and all we may get from our scratching the dirt’s a few moldy coins lying around the aGORa.

Hi, do you know anything about merkaba? I have been avoiding using the shape most people refer to as a merkaba assuming it was closed practice, and I just want to understand how it fits into kabbalah and sacred geometry if there's an entry level explanation, and why non jewish people shouldn't use it if it is closed practice.
Hey there! Only a little- the higher esoteric levels of Kabbalah and Merkabah mysticism isn’t my strong suit. Here’s what I can tell you:
Merkabah mysticism is its own type of Jewish mysticism, different from Kabbalah but does influence Kabbalah.
I don’t know much about sacred geometry, but the name for the shape ofc makes me go “hmmm” and I would definitely check out *where* all these shapes are getting their meanings from, because I bet it’s not the only one with a Kabbalistic influence
I am less personally bothered seeing someone wearing a 3d star shape necklace than I am seeing people wear a magen david for “sacred geometry” reasons, like one is a distinct Jewish symbol in our culture, and the other someone could just pick up and think is pretty.
Again, I don’t really know enough about sacred geometry to speak on it, but Kabbalah is definitely closed and Merkabah mysticism would similarly be closed, to my knowledge. Lots of thinkpieces about Kabbalah specifically have been written so I won’t bog down this answer here, but feel free to send a followup ask if you have more questions about it
Basically TLDR, check your sources and check where the information is coming from at its root. Is it its own unique philosophy, or is it just regurgitated Jewish mysticism with a New Age coat of paint?

Single Mothers Will Probably Cry During Every Episode Of Queen’s Gambit - Episode 1
I’ll start this long piece with a quote by Toni Morrisson. She once said : “If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.”
After watching Queen’s Gambit yesterday I rushed to the Internet to see if someone had written all of the things I am about to write, all of the symbols I saw in the miniseries, all of the dog whistles, the references. I found articles about chess. About how the community had adopted the film, about which grandmasters the characters were based off of, about chess moves and theories, about production and the unexpected success of the series.
According to me, this is quite mediocre commentary. I eventually clicked on the New Yorker article that seemed to be a tiny bit smarter. After a couple of paragraphs I realized that the male writer was only going to rant about how the actress is “too pretty” to be Beth Harmon, and this seems to upset him. A lot.
But no one talked about Beth’s mother. Or the name of the series. Or the embroidery. The chess board. The tranquilizers. The math. The flashbacks. The exchange of queens. The sacrifice of the queen. Did no one see it? Or is it again one of those things; where the world is so obsessed with single mothers and representing them as huge, massive, quite literal train wrecks, but no one actually wants to look at them in the eye, talk to them, help them?
Let me tell you, as a single mother, this miniseries had me in tears the whole time. It’s really difficult to watch. It’s downright triggering.
Single mothers like to keep their silence. That’s because we know the world doesn’t like it when we start talking. It hurts. A lot. So instead, the world likes to make memes about how single moms are whores, how they are drunks or over worked. How they’re psychotic. How they ramble. They don’t make any sense. Bipolar. Crazy. How their children stare at the television all day, the way they microwave bad food. We laugh at them, and use them as comical relief in our ... what exactly? Cultural objects. Then we move on. We send a message to single mothers when we do this, and the message is important. You suck. Shut Up. Don’t exist. It’s your fault.
We make an entire mini series about a single mother who killed herself to save her kid, we put on the television images that hurt and harm single mothers and then the public responds with nothing. They don’t even bat an eyelash. Miss the point entirely. Great series about chess! Except it’s not about chess. Not at all. It’s about raising children alone, when the world hates you. It’s about a trailer. In the middle of nowhere. A strong willed woman who was a mathematician in the 1940s. Who taught her daughter everything she could. Realized she couldn’t do more. And made the ultimate sacrifice, the queen’s gambit. The riskiest, most reckless, bravest move of all.
So let me tell you about what it’s like to watch Queen’s Gambit when you’re a single mother. So that somewhere in the AI, it’s written. So that when our great grand children will try to understand our times, they’ll read it.
I’ll write an essay for each episode. And in each essay I will review the important lession that Alice passed on to young Beth, and how this takes her to Moscow, where she can live a much more fulfilling life than in the U.S.A.
Lesson 1 : Find A Two Dimensional Algebric Plane. Study It. Control It.
I recently learned from instagram user @itllbeokbaby and Amsterdam based artist and weaver Liza Prins that the words textile and text have the same origin as the word texture.
Text derives from the Latin textus (a tissue), which is in turn derived from texere (to weave). It belongs to a field of associated linguistic values that includes weaving, that which is woven, spinning, and that which is spun, indeed even web and webbing. Textus entered European vernaculars through Old French, where it appears as texte and where it assumes its important relation with tissu (a tissue or fabric) and tisser (to weave).
Women have been weaving, beading, sowing and stitching since the dawn of times. We also know that women used this technology not just to create clothes, tents or shoes. They used it as a container of information. As cultural DNA.
In South America, in places where writing as we know of it was never created, women would bead important tribal information into skirts. They would then use the skirts as a database of the tribe. To track births, deaths, epidemics, droughts and other important group defining events.
In modern times, women still use embroidery as a means of expression. My memories from childhood contain strong images of my aunts and grandmothers, sewing my name and date of birth onto pillow cases, bathrobes and bedcovers. They would do this by the pool, at the bottom of the ski slopes, on the beach or in the train. They would engage into conversation as they embroidered; as this activity required some concentration, but not their full attention. It was their way of being present; but also transcending into the past and projecting into the future. They sewed our lives into the cloth.
I once heard my grandmother counting the holes in the cloth she was decorating with her beautiful colours. I asked what she was doing. She said that to build the letters on the cloth, you needed to count the squares. Two to the top, four to the right, ten to the middle, etc etc. I was quite mesmerized. I was maybe eight at the time, the same age as Beth when she loses her mother. I had started learning some math in school but somehow the math in school seemed to be presented to me as the epitome of something quite different than this excruciatingly feminine passtime.
Math was presented to me as masculine, out of reach to us girls. And now I was disovering that these women in my family were geometry experts, fluent in linear algebra, and that at a higher level, they were database account managers.
In the first episode of the miniseries, in the first couple of minutes; we discover two Beths. The first Beth is in Paris, the beautiful, the chic; the glamourous Paris. Paris will always be the undisputed capital of Fashion.
Paris is the undisputed capital of fashion not because it is the home of polluting massive textile industries like the ones in Pakistan or Zara’s empire in Spain. Paris is the capital of fashion because it is the capital of Haute Couture. And Haute Couture is custom made, sowed by hand, piece by piece, bead by bead, sequin per sequin. It is delicate. It is slow. It is sacred. It is what my aunt’s did.
It is the opposite of industrial, the opposite of a sewing machine, the opposite of an engine. The opposite of yield failures, punching in and punching out. It is lace. Delicate, personal, eternal.
The second Beth we see is the eight year old Beth, that has just lost her mother. She stands on a bridge. Two cars have crashed into one another. And she stares on at the police officers. One says “Not a scratch on her. It’s a miracle”. The other says “I doubt she’ll see it like that”.
My theory is that the miniseries explain how Beth eventually begins to “see it like that”.
The first time we see 8 year old Beth she is wearing a dress, with her name embroidered on it. It reads Beth, in pink. Feminine. Purple flowers surround it. The embroidery is delicate. It’s on her heart.
We follow eight year old Beth as she gets sent to an orphanage. In the first couple of scenes at the orphanage, we think, for a minute, that maybe Beth will be okay here. The head mistress smiles, has nice hair. Shows her around. Yes, the bed is by the lavatory, but at least she has a bed, a roof over her head.
We only start despising this new mother figure when she takes Beth to choose new clothes. Beth takes off her dress, and stares at her name, written on the front. The headmistress selects a white shirt and grey dress for Beth. She hands to her these new items, symbol of her new life, of her integration within the orphanage and later mainstream society. The headmistress then grabs the dress with the name embroidered and looks at it with disgust. Then, she says “I think we’ll burn this one” and disapears.
Beth then understands that she is no longer allowed to love her mother. That to fit in this school, this orphanage, to survive, she must let go of the embroidery and all of the things she associates with her mother. Her mother, in the words of the teacher was a “victim” of “a carefree life”. A free spirited whore, a lesbian, a witch. There’s a lot of words we liek to use to describe women who don’t conform. And Beth’s mother, as we learn, never conformed.
At night, Beth sees her mother’s eyes, she hears the last words her mother uttered before dying in the car crash. “Close your eyes”. She said it with tears in her eyes and an air of great determination. She knew what she was doing, which is something Beth doesn’t want to tell anyone. Not even her new friend Jolene. Beth’s secret is her mother wasn’t crazy. She wasn’t crazy at all.
Then, Beth discovers the board. One day, she gets sent to the basement and sees the janitor playing chess. Later in the miniseries, Beth tells the journalist from Life it was the board that attracted her. Not the pieces.
As the first episode unfolds, Beth learns that the squares have names. She learns the names. And at night when she looks up at the ceiling she sees the board. She visualizes the pieces moving on the 64 squares. She moves them in her mind and imagines all of the alternatives. What the board would look like if she moved this piece to that square. What would her opponent do then?
To the journalist of the Life magazine, Beth says that the Chess board was a universe of 64 squares, and that she could control this space. All she had to do was study it.
The board is much like the cloth that Beth’s mother Alice would sew information onto when she was a young child. You count the squares and move your material through it. As you go, you make shapes, patterns, motifs. Beth looks up at the ceiling at night and the first night, without the tranquilizers, she sees her mother say “Close your eyes” which is too painful or such a young child. A young child doesn’t understand yet why a mother would say “Close your eyes” and then crash on purpose into a truck. A young child doesn’t know about the world yet.
Alice aknowledged that she was about to do something extremely risky, that the outcome was uncertain. Alice told Beth that she was going to purposely provoke the car crash.
But when Beth takes the tranquilizers at night, and now that she knows about chess, she can transfer her love for her mother into her growing obsession with Chess. She looks up at the ceiling and instead of seeing Alice’s last thoughts, she sees the Chess board. Which is the small piece of universe that Alice controlled, when she was alive. The cloth that she sewed her daughter’s name on: “So that you’ll always remember who you are”.

Most people don't realize that sounds, shapes, colors and words are all connected through various frequency vibrations. Play a chord and there is a corresponding geometrical shape that is in place, and a color associated with that frequency and vibration! Sacred Geometry, sound, chakras
I have figured out how to make anything reality and how the universe works after experimenting with a variety of affirmations and i will explain with knowledge from many teachers that I have figured out the details and proven myself with experiments, memories, scientific explanations and more.
So everything is Frequency and Vibration or nonphysical and physical, We are all co-creators who create frequencies that create and control the material and physical world. We operate and think on frequency, including belief systems are frequencies and that controls our vibration.
Vibration is our body and the frequencies that we operate and think on control the type of thoughts we can have, how we feel, how we interact with all life and everything around us including gaining new abilities, becoming immortal or anything it seems anything is possible once you say or listen to an affirmation, subliminal, mantra, frequency or believe something long enough
then it will come true eventually. The Mastermind Principle explains how opposing frequencies cannot exist in the same area. For example during hypnosis people have proven how if i say my finger is burning hot then it will burn your skin as i get closer and start to blister.
Somebody has put down all his weight on a knife on his neck then got hit full force with a sledgehammer on his back but it did not pierce his skin because his belief/frequency
that he operates on. The frequencies also cause hallucinations based on beliefs, for example i thought people i date would reply fast so when i first got a phone in 7th grade i would message people and past girlfriends and reply fast because i didn't have many chores to do and of course really wanted to talk to my now ex girlfriend so while waiting for a reply from her, i would get vibrations from my
phone just like i got a message but when i checked then i see no messages or notifications and this went on like a hundred times until 10th grade when i got a new girlfriend(ex girlfriend) that explained why it took so long to reply, which is because she does many chores for her family, she didn't have Brothers and sisters around her age to help out.
So i first started learning about how the universe works after 5 years of searching to cure my shyness, depression and slight anger issues, along the way i did some searching into empathic abilities, how to live forever and more through many teachers mostly on google and Youtube, nothing really worked until i found this
video by "YouAreCreators" Youtube channel called "The secrets of frequency and vibration" packed full of cool experiments including how the nine solfeggio frequencies cured 16 out of 16 terminally ill cancer patients
within 70 days which i hear is the worst kind of cancer. So i started both the nine solfeggio frequencies and i am affirmations both free on YouTube at the same time, after listening to them for 2 and a half weeks then i started
waking up with this extremely blissful feeling, super energized, feeling great, thinking faster and more clearly, form more complex thoughts, process information faster, i work at top speed all day like an adrenaline rush and
it seems i have infinite energy but i stopped listening temporarily thinking it would last forever but then the great feelings gradually went away after 72 hours.
Some of my experiments that helped me discover how the universe works include listening and or saying affirmations
like "i am connected to the source, i am a part of god, i am a piece of the creator, i am wise, i am walking brilliance, i am total understanding, i am infinite wisdom, i am genius, i am over joyed, i am educated, i am infinite, i am wise council, i am energetic, i am boundless, i am brilliant, I am Happy, i am Healthy, i am invincible, i am immortal, i am loving, i am caring, kind, strong" and many more
in other people's affirmations then they all came true and when i asked questions in my head then five different times i got answers it seemed i could have never thought of.
I have even tried subliminals for faster reflexes and think fast like a human computer then started catching everything that i bumped off the shelf when trying to work faster including 3 items i dropped at the same time so i lowered my body slightly and hugged them like i could
see them falling in slow motion.
Dr. Joe Dispenza says learning makes new connections in the brain, so the more that you can repeat what you have learned, the more you are installing the neurological hardware in the brain in preparation for the experience then
when you feel the experience and emotion then your teaching your body chemically what you have intellectually understood, then the body understands better than the mind after enough practice. He said our job
is to go from philosopher to initiate to master, from knowledge to experience to wisdom, from mind to body to soul, from thinking to doing to being, from learning it with your head to practicing it with your hands and knowing it by heart.
How you think and feel changes your state of being, (end of the quote) because you think the pill or surgery will heal you then it doesn't matter if it is a sugar pill or fake surgery, it will work, that is the famous placebo effect. I read that most people get results between 21 to 85 days of any daily affirmation, frequency, subliminal, mantra etc then after 3 months of daily practice then it will be permanent.
After saying i am immortal and i am invincible for about a month and a half then i turned around and accidentally fell what seemed to be the fastest fall ever at work because the floor was really slick then i felt no pain at all and didn't even get hurt and i kept track for a month after just
in case if i needed to report it.
After saying that i do not need food to survive, i do not need food to thrive about 50 times daily for 3 days then those 3 days i ate 50%-75% less food because i felt full and could not really eat much throughout the day including my work lunch time that i usually eat the whole time.
Mahatma Gandhi said "Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny."
I found that fear or doubt attracts what you fear or doubt because I found a new technique while playing pool that I can visualize a tunnel where the white ball will go and the next ball and make the shot everytime if I stay confident, aim
the goal ball first then the white ball with the tunnel but if I doubt I'll make it or fear I'll mess up or get bumped then I can't visualize the tunnel technique so I tried relying on another technique but then I fail.
After
listening to affirmations about world peace then it gave me new perceptions that helped me because i was running on the "be nice" frequency so then i was able to tell
people the right way to do things otherwise i could report them to the FDA for leaving refrigerated food out at room temperature for hours instead of 30 minutes. They would pull out pallets of food about 6 feet tall stacked to fit the most
food on each pallet then say only one person per pallet which took this one guy 3 hours and a half to stock the shelves so now those expiration dates are wrong.
I have tried mantras and subliminals to become more attractive then 6 people flirt with me in one day, everyone was
smiling at me and i got 4 phone numbers from female co-workers because the other 2 flirting was guys but I'm only attracted to females.
Also with Aaron Doughty's help, he refers to Hawkin's scale from "fear to enlightenment" often with examples and his experiences which really helped me out but he still
does not completely know what he is talking about as far as i know but i don't watch most of his videos. I had help from many teachers and i sometimes still look for more
knowledge to improve life for the greater good of all! First
time i heard the detox frequency that is known to eliminate electromagnetic radiation, Viruses, diseases, infections, toxins, bacteria, fungal etc "741 Hz" i heard just about an hour or two then sweat 3 nights in a row so much
during winter that i woke up once each night because the sweat i was soaked in got cold so i dried off and rolled over each night but with constant use i don't notice any sweat
really if i do it daily or weekly. Music tuned to 528Hz gives us more energy daily because it returns our DNA to its perfect form also 528Hz is the frequency at which life is created and when i listen daily then i keep benefits constantly all day.
Other
people's beliefs and our own beliefs and fears influence us subconsciously that influences thoughts, abilities and choices either positive or negative but we can learn what negative and or deconstructive frequencies we operate on by listening to our thoughts and words then reverse the negative and deconstructive ones,
I figured this out because I heard weird beliefs that I didn't believe that effected me in a negative way but now I looped an affirmation video using desktop version for protection from anything negative on my cracked phone it charges slow but it works.
With a world of technology that can brainwash you on a silent frequency displayed on the patent technology website then We must brainwash ourselves for everything good and have a negative and deconstructive frequencies blocker like i listen to daily in my Daily playlist that i try to keep under 6 hours to listen 3 times daily for more effect i add more helpful videos after so i have
something else to listen to while sleeping. We can create new empowering, optimistic, hopeful, loving, gratefulness, forgiving life for all. Always think what is the opposite of the negative, remember to stay and think positive, constructive and always work with science to figure

I heard one guy rose his frequency and vibration so high that he cured everyone at an insane asylum just by walking in, they told him he could not speak to them but just being near him everyone of them past all the tests to get out within a week.

I found Dr. Royal Raymond Rife's frequency list and it is over 437 pages long and the first 8 or so is the University studies and then every health problem we can possibly have and what frequency or frequencies cure that problem.

I seen AIDS on the list and every body part we have and or metabolism for example the frequency and or frequencies that help them normalize to perfect functionality. I'm currently doing 2 more experiments for no sleep affirmations and no food for a month or longer, when I get hungry I simply think, "I don't need food to survive and thrive" about 5-10 times then I'm not hungry again for many

Technically it's fasting without being hungry if you use Affirmations, I think " I don't need food to survive, I don't need food to thrive, I feel great" between 5-15 times then hunger pains go away, if I repeat more then it lasts longer that I don't need food. I have had no food for 7 days now and I have started noticing that all of my abilities are improving like hearing and feeling better etc.
Hence, the action of fasting is seen wherein one’s cellular structures begin to hunger for that residue, that drug, that plant’s chemical and in that hunger, attempts to open wider and wider in an effort to absorb energy.
Whereby, in that process of yearning and moving towards each other, the old residues remaining within the cells begin to move into the elimination process and out of the bodily functions, creating a cleansing effect. That this can take approximately a few weeks to a few months, depending upon each individual’s personal expressions and habits.
That also there is seen the ingesting of fresh water and the consumption of only proper foods of a healthy nature. That also exercise appears as a form of internal cleansing. You had been sitting on the hard-backed chair in the hospital with your volleyball recordings and your volleyball recordings and listening to him breathe all week. You had not played volleyball in a while.
The month before that had been better. Sometimes he would agree to watch a match with you. You would slot the disc into the disc player they set up in rooms for dying people and point out your favorite maneuvers, the service aces you wanted to mimic. He would nod along, speak a few words or none.
The month before that had been the worst. Your sister informed you diplomatically that your grandfather was dying. Your legs went still under the dining table. You had seen the news making its way towards you on the horizon, and missed its arrival all the same.
You don’t remember much of the funeral. Only that there are white lilies and black suits and some far-off relative tells you about the symbolism of flowers. Good-bye and be-at-peace and whatever. It has been wilting, slowly and steadily, for over a month now. You consider watering it every time you walk past. You never do.
iv. You don’t learn of Karasuno’s old histories until you get there but they seem fitting. This is nice, you decide, holding the fabric up to the light. This is where I will bury my crown.
But Hinata Shouyou—
v. Hinata Shouyou is a disaster. He’s so bad at volleyball it makes you mad. It makes you mad that he makes you mad. You had resigned yourself to a lifetime of apathy. Whatever sacred thing you had formed with volleyball had gone up like a plume of dust when your grandfather passed away. You think you will never be over anything. You are a suitcase packed for a business trip, mostly empty.
“I’ll set to whoever will help us win,” you say.
His hands curl into fists and his face crumples. It has been a while since anyone has cared enough about you to be upset instead of disappointed.
“Hah?” He’s seething. He knows you’re right and can’t do anything about it.
You pick up the ball, feel its surface singe your palms. If volleyball is over then what is this? What do you call this feeling? You look up.
“I don’t think you’re necessary to win right now,” you say.
“Hah?” he repeats. It’s one instance in a lifetime of honesty. He doesn’t know how to hide. He’s probably never needed to. Bitterness rises like bile in the back of your throat; you swallow around it.
Later, you stay to clean up the gymnasium. There is a moment in which he jumps off the stage and the setting sun splinters across his form. He is all skin and muscle, barely fifteen. He is not at all like the gods you grew up worshiping or the bleak faces you recall from junior high. This is, you observe distantly, different.
“What?” he asks, defensive. He has noticed you staring and begun seething again. Everything you do pisses him off. That’s new. Is that bad? You peer into yourself, ask the question again. Is that so bad?
“Nothing,” you tell him. You wheel the ball cart back into the storage room. The sound of shoes, rainfall, then he is there beside you. He does not pursue the matter of your eyes and therefore you do not pursue the matter of the strange way he refracts light. Physics cannot explain this. Nothing you know can explain the conundrum of Hinata Shouyou. For better or worse, you have all the time in the world to find an answer.
vi. Several months after quitting volleyball, your sister got into a fight with her boyfriend. He was an honor roll student that took triple sciences with history as an elective because he liked it more than the sciences, and had convinced his parents it would make his resume look good. This left sparingly little time for your sister, who had, in a spur of the moment decision, quit volleyball to share her own time with him. She only wanted to walk home together a few times a week, eat lunch at the same table, go on dates sometimes; she told you these things as she did her nails and cried. You listened and tried to fit her words into the dollhouse of your universe. Spending time with someone sounded painful. It involved sacrifice, you surmised, the act of carving things out of yourself. You decided it was a pity that your sister’s boyfriend was in love with history and she had been in love with volleyball. It was hard to love two things at once, or separately.
Later she broke up with this boyfriend and you watched as she acquired a string of subsequent boyfriends who were all unwilling to give up their version of elective history for her. You wondered what exactly she was trying so hard for but were unsure how to ask. Was it companionship? Was it devotion? Was it that abstract notion of love that made your face burn with exertion, even when you had done nothing at all? She had stopped looking for boyfriends altogether by the time you entered high school, and decided eventually to pursue hairdressing in Tokyo.
vii. Volleyball is a sport where you are always looking up. After junior high you refused to stare at anything but the ground before you, having resigned yourself to the fact that no one would want to hit a ball you had set. It seemed fair to anticipate the ball’s descent instead of its ascent. The ascent, after all, was dependent on factors outside of your control. The descent could be slowed down or at least cushioned with your hands.
“Give me the ball,” Hinata demands. He opens his mouth and the words cut right through you. Mesmerized by the sound, you toss to him and he slams the ball into the opposite court. There’s that age-old silence, the sharp intake of breath. Hinata and Kageyama’s freak quick does it again.
As long as you’re here, you think, he’s invincible.
Or is it the other way around?
viii. Karasuno goes to the Spring High. Still it doesn’t quite sink in until you’re walking onto the orange court and the announcer with his shiny annoying microphone is reading your name off a placard. ‘Kageyama Tobio’ goes up in the air like a firework. You feel your heart scrabble for purchase on your ribcage.
You play on all three days. You inhale the stark geometry of movement and the court teaches you physics and sorcery. You have sunk your feet into the hardwood floor and you will not go anywhere until Hinata Shouyou who refracts light like a miracle falls from the sky. Until he becomes Icarus.
When he finally does, you tell him, "I'm going on ahead."
What you really mean is: I want you to chase me.
ix. “What’s volleyball to you?” Hoshiumi asks once after practice. The question comes from nowhere and arrives nowhere. You simply happen to be present.
“Volleyball is volleyball,” you say perfunctorily.
Hoshiumi tilts his head back like a Yakuza. “That’s a stupid answer. Think harder.”
You slide your notebook into the front pocket of your bag. You picture rows of plastic bottles placed at equal intervals along a court. You hear the ball falling. The smear of shoes.
“Think harder,” Hoshiumi repeats. You think maybe he’s psychic, though he’s probably just bored. You think you would be nothing without volleyball. And Hinata, if he had not pulled you out of the sky and tied you to a kinder religion.
You consider Hinata Shouyou and the ball. Which matters more, which is the elective history class you cannot give up? Hoshiumi taps his feet against the floor impatiently.
“Volleyball just is,” you decide. Something has come upon you. You know what it looks like but not how to describe it. Hoshiumi can take his weird questions and shove it.
“Hah?” Hoshiumi tilts his head so far back you worry that his neck will snap. You zip your bag and sling it over your shoulder, nod in his direction without meeting his eyes.
“Yeah.”
“Kageyama, you’re full of bullshit.”
“Yeah.”
x. He calls you one night from Brazil, drunk off his ass, and you burn like Alexandria with the urge to put your hands on his throat.
xi. “Is that so bad?”
“No, but the Black Jackals are annoying. Atsumu still holds a grudge against me for the Olympics. Sakusa’s going to make everyone use his hand sanitizer and then he’s going to run out and he’s going to make one of us buy him refills.”
“And Hinata Shouyou.”
“Yeah. And Hinata Shouyou.”
xii. Maybe passion is frustration. Maybe love is consumption. Maybe Hinata comes back from Brazil and the first thing you think when you see him in the hallway outside the toilet is that you want to lick the smile right off his face. It has taken you several years to reach the place where the shadow of junior high and the family you left behind does not cast itself across your shoulders, but merely the tips of your toes. Your feet are planted firmly in the dirt.
Your grandfather used to say that no one understood what was and wasn’t important to you better than yourself. At eight you felt that he was being evil and deliberately cryptic. At twenty-two, you think you understand. Volleyball is Hinata is volleyball. You cannot have one without the other and you cannot have neither, so you want to have both.
The Black Jackals win. As the crowd surges out of the bleachers, calling your names like promises, you duck under the net to the other side of the court. The sound of shoes, rainfall; then he is there beside you.
“It’s my win,” Hinata says, smiling so hard you think he’s going to crack right open. He's sweaty and gross and you've never seen anything quite as spectacular.
“Yeah” you say, and then you kiss him.
xiii. Everyone knows Kageyama Tobio fucked up at the junior high qualifiers, but most people don’t know he borrowed his father’s suit for his grandfather’s funeral. He didn’t want to go in the first place. He was scared of the faceless casket he would be forced to confront.
By the time he emerged onto the court again he had retreated so far inside of himself, there was little left on the outside but a motorized shell which remembered, vaguely, how to play volleyball. They called him King of the Court for months afterwards, but they didn’t see the way the court had swallowed him up and spat out his bones. His teammates had been watching him with curious resentment for months. His coach had little sympathy for the sullen genius with the brackish words. No one saw that he was carrying a wound for a heart. They saw only the court and the ball and the way the spiker’s hand fell short of its golden trajectory.
Look at that, they said in wonderment. Isn’t that terrible.
Everyone knows Hinata Shouyou sucked at volleyball at the start, but they don’t know that Kageyama Tobio looked at him for the first time that day and hoped immediately, from some strange and selfish part of his chest, that Hinata would be the one to wake him from his solitary dream. That he saw in him the face of a sleeping god.
They don’t know that Kageyama spent six years watching for the shadow of the sun through the clouds, and then was there to greet it at first light.

What Are Friends For || Morgan & Lydia
After Morgan accidentally strikes a bargain with Lydia, she is invited over to make good on her word. What are friends for, after all?

Morgan was eager to make a better impression on Lydia than she had at the beach. She brought one of the few bottles of wine she hadn’t wrecked in the house, assuming that whatever was good enough for Deirdre’s luxuriant tastes would suit Lydia as well. She put on a bright floral dress that was hanging in the closet from her old things, too attention-seeking with its sweetheart bust and bright pink belt to do for her everyday ‘don’t look at me I’m dead and depressed’ chic. Which meant it was clean and, mostly, unwrinkled. She did her hair. She checked herself, however self-consciously before the door to the rather intimidatingly large house. When Lydia answered the door, Morgan held out her gift bag automatically. “I brought this for you!” If she had any blood flow to her face she would have blushed. No hi? No how are you? Seriously? “It’s good see you,” she tried. “I thought you’d like this. And, um, there’s a rose quartz plate. I don’t know if you like it, but it is one of the nicer things I made.” It was part of an unfinished commission the buyer only wanted a refund for, but even Morgan wasn’t so frazzled as to mention that.
Lydia smiled as she opened the door, humans kept busy upstairs so as to not disturb them. Almost immediately Morgan was pushing a gift bag into her hands, which Lydia peaked into curiously. “Thank you, darling, it’s good to see you too,” she stepped aside, leading Morgan into the kitchen of her home. Large windows filled the room with spring skies, and a view over her garden. “Look at that, you did put on your Sunday best after all. You look good.”
Morgan stepped carefully into the house, minding not to scuff the tile as she walked in. Windows lined every wall that wasn’t adorned with bright paintings or strange sculptures that seemed to draw Morgan towards them. It put her in mind of an art gallery, or a home in a movie: some mysterious billionaire with a shark tank in the basement. “Have you collected all of this in only four months?” She asked, staring wide-eyed around her. So entranced and distracted, she nearly tripped on her way to the kitchen. “I did!” She said, summoning as much brightness as she had in her. Not much, but enough to sound pleasant. “I like to think I clean up good. Your home is amazing,” she said. “Almost like a museum.”
“No, I’ve had much of it for years. Every time I move, I choose my favourite pieces to bring to the new residence. I change it reasonably frequently.” Lydia looked around, smiling at her collection. For each piece, she could name the Leanan who had inspired it. Some of them distant friends or siblings that Lydia could see in the art itself. Either directly, the planes of their chests carefully etched into wood, or in the colour pallettes of the beautiful baroque scenery. “You do clean up well. I also hope this means you feel the slightest bit better relative to the last time we met.”
“Oh. Sh--stars,” Morgan corrected herself quickly. “It really is like a museum. That’s incredible. And when you say years, do you mean--” She hesitated, wondering if it was impolite to ask about age. Morgan didn’t even know what kind of fae Lydia was. If she was a banshee, she would have more skulls, right? And Deirdre wouldn’t be so lonely. She probably wasn’t like Jeff, Morgan would have noticed that too. “Well, just how many, I guess, if that’s polite to ask.” But, in case that wasn’t-- “I am feeling better, though. Thank you for asking. Still not, you know,” she fidgeted on the counter, “Kickin’ that well. But, better than last time. Haven’t almost drowned anyone since.”
“I’m over seventy years old, although I haven’t been collecting art for quite that long,” Lydia replied, preening herself under Morgan’s compliments. “Are you an art connoisseur, or do you just enjoy seeing it?” There wasn’t any judgment in her tone, for once. It was simply a question to find out whether they could talk art, or simply enjoy it together. “I would be more concerned if you were suddenly completely fine. Although, if pranks become part of your new lifestyle, that remains a good choice for a prank. Would you like anything to eat or drink?”
“Seventy?” Morgan balked with surprise before she could stop herself. Did this mean she and Deirdre would look this good at seventy? Her mind struggled to go in five different directions at once. “I don’t know if that’s especially old for fae, if your family treats you like a kid about it or not, but at least you don’t seem cynical or tired after all this time,” she said, trying to get back on course. “I’ve, um, I’ve taken a couple courses in art history. Came in handy when I was alive, a little, with curse research and the sacred geometry that goes into alchemy. But mostly I just think it’s pretty. I um...I mostly have a weak spot for anything with a dramatic enough emotional statement. There’s a chapel Rothko designed, in Houston? I would go there to think some times, as a weird treat for myself.” She scanned their surroundings again. The house was so open she could see all the way to the entrance still. “That one,” she pointed, “Is that an original baroque or something in the style?” She gave a hapless smile, this is as far as my knowledge goes, but I’m trying. “I’ll just have whatever you’re having. Or water,” she said, to be polite. At least water had never really tasted like anything in the first place.
“It doesn’t directly translate to either of those. I have a lot of life left to live, but seventy years is no short length of time for anyone.” Lydia replied, smiling. “Why would I become cynical or tired of it? The world has so much to experience and live for.” She sat on a stool by her kitchen table, as Morgan described her education. “Yes, I know the chapel. It’s incredibly beautiful.” Lydia looked down the hall and nodded. “It’s a Reubens. I do love the Baroque style.” She smiled, letting Morgan go from the discussion. “Water it is,” Lydia acquiesced, pouring Morgan a glass. “Now, shall we discuss that little deal of ours?”
“Oh,” Morgan said, chewing on the thought. “I guess, just because…” Life sucks and then you die. And sometimes you come back for even more hurt. She was able to think better of the statement and after a few moments of mouthing awkwardly in silence, “Humans do. Get cynical and tired. It doesn’t even take seventy years for most of them. I used to get crap for not being more...bitter, cautious, whatever. I was tired a lot, but maybe energy is different for fae.” She didn’t try to flex what little art factoids she had. Lydia was being nice and, fuck it, she’d let her be. Morgan had given her offerings, she made an effort, and despite Lydia’s airs of propriety, there was something about her that invited Morgan to drop her own pretensions and be herself. She gave a smaller, though more sincere smile and nodded gratefully. “Right! I said I’d do something for you. What kind of thing did you have in mind?”
“There are days that are terrible. Sometimes weeks or even years. To let that colour my entire life would be...wasteful.” Lydia replied, but knew it probably wasn’t what Morgan needed to hear right now. Losing another wasn’t the same as losing your own sense of self. Even if Morgan hadn’t lost her life, Lydia understood she currently felt like it. So she smiled, matching Morgan’s. “Yes. This is really… more of a heads up, if you will. I’m sure Deirdre is very careful with these things, with you. But if you’re to date a fae, you need to be aware that not all of us are as sweet as Deirdre or I, and that you might need to watch your words more carefully.” Lydia clasped her hands. “As for what I had in mind. I was thinking a small painting. I can offer you as much inspiration as you like. I don’t care if you paint the whole canvas blue, or if you throw the paint at it, or if you take rests. All of that is up to you. You could even take a knife to the canvas, for all I mind. Just create something, for me. That’s all I ask to end the promise.”
“Wait--what?” Morgan sputtered with confusion. She thought that Lydia was kidding. She had to be. A head’s up? “We’re always intentional with our promises, yeah,” Morgan said, straightening with a little pride. Their promises were better than any cheesy ring or one-time declaration any other couple might make. They were their trust, their fidelity, something that could stay true and real, even when Morgan could barely get out of bed. They never had to pull on the thread because they meant what they said. It only existed for something sudden, some hypothetical emergency or some time when the compulsion would be a comfort. What else would promises be good for, besides a proof of trust? Her expression wrinkled, confused and scrutinizing as she waited for some other punchline. Then her body began to ache, her insides burning and twisting. That was...weird. “Uh…” Her stomach tightened, and Morgan clenched her jaw to keep from dry heaving in front of Lydia. “Oh-kay.” She gripped the countertop to keep from doubling over. Was this--something fae let happen on purpose? “Canvas?” She asked, voice strained. “Can you, um, show me where, a-and paint, crayola crayons, whatever? Please?”
“Already set up,” Lydia replied smoothly, stepping over to help Morgan. “Darling, there’s no rush.” That would at least ease the ache that had Morgan keeling over, her jaw tight. Lydia tried to feel bad about it. She really did. It was the fae in her, that couldn’t stand to avoid taking advantage of such things. Perhaps it was a bit of a compulsion. She would have done it to anyone, really, and would expect it in return. “Come along here, and I’ll bring you something you can really taste.” Lydia lead Morgan to a pre-set up canvas and paints. It was a small canvas, A4 sized. If Morgan wanted to, she could cover the whole thing in a couple minutes flat. “There you go. As I said, darling, no rush, take the rests you want, paint what you like.”
Morgan’s insides unclenched at Lydia’s words. She let out a deep gasp, bracing herself again, just so she didn’t go to the floor in relief. She looked up at Lydia, bewildered by how quickly this had turned around into something...not at all like what she shared with Deirdre. Was this the ‘heads up’? The lesson she was supposed to get out of this. “T-thank you,” she said quietly, averting her gaze. She followed her at a distance, still feeling a little clammy, or maybe just shaken. This wasn’t what she’d had in mind when she asked the universe to help her feel again. She looked between Lydia and the canvas and back again. It was all...waiting for her. She wasn’t sure how to feel about that. “Okay. What I like. I can do that.” She tried to smile again, but she was too shaken to feel at ease just yet.
She lifted a drafting pencil and began to sketch out the bones of...whatever this was going to be. Why was this so hard? Of course she liked things. Morgan sectioned off the canvas for a close up landscape and set aside a circle for what she wanted to put in it. She had started on a base coat (she remembered that much from the extra curricular lectures she’d attended) when she worked up the nerve to ask, “So, can I ask--? When you say that other fae are not as sweet, do you mean...that they do this on purpose? For...what, exactly? I just...would like to understand better.”
“I mean that the kind of promise you made could be used for something much crueler than a simple painting.” Lydia sat down a few feet away from Morgan, watching her paint the base. She sat back, her wings fading into view as she considered the question. “We do it in part because it is our culture. To us, there is little more valuable than our word. That everyone else gives it so thoughtlessly is infuriating. There should be consequences for such things.” She turned her gaze back to Morgan. “When I was attacked by that vampire, when I was done being terrified, I was enraged. Not just because he’d turned me into a toy, or because he’d tried to kill me. What made me most angry was that we’d made a deal, and he went right against it. That made me more angry than the manner by which he did it.” Lydia shook her head to clear her mind. “I suppose though, perhaps what I want to warn you of, is that many fae don’t like other fae to date other species at all. That a commitment like the one you made to me could have been used to end the relationship between the two of you.”
Morgan could understand, a little, what it must be like to see everyone take for granted what was so essential to you. She still hadn’t been by to see the coven despite saying that she would, she needed to. It was too painful, too infuriating, to witness magic as if it were a matter of course when her power had died in the street with her heartbeat. She switched to a different brush and began to cover the canvas in blue before taking up another and layering a wide swath of green over it for grass. It was more of a clumsy child’s dreamscape than the spot in the woods by the river she had hoped to represent, but Lydia hadn’t asked her for the artistic value of her work. She paused, turning solemn as Lydia recounted the worst parts of her story to her. Morgan shook her head with dismay. “Vampires are the fucking worst,” she grumbled quietly. Then, with a little more poise she said louder, “He should never have done that. He should have to pay, pay to someone for being cruel in that way. I’m sorry, Lydia.”
At the suggestion that Morgan could be promise-tricked into deserting Deirdre, she put her brush down. “They might hate me, for being with her. I’m aware of that much,” she said solemnly. “But...we promised each other first. All she ever has to do is ask for me to come to her, and I will. Wherever she is, whatever else happens between us. Doesn’t that promise matter too?” They were careful. They still didn’t go shouting from the rooftops that they were together. But if fae could sense each other, it would only take one outing down the wrong street, bumping into the wrong person, for them to guess. “How do I keep that from happening?” She asked. “I didn’t...I was being sincere, Lydia, when I spoke to you about doing something. I just didn’t understand that it was possible to bind yourself without the word ‘promise.’” She picked up her brush again, sighing with dismay as more troubled thoughts floated and circled her brain. “I’m sorry for that too I guess.”
“He will. He made a deal, and now he will pay for it. As he should,” Lydia replied, sneering, before pushing the mysterious vampire out of her mind and out the conversation. Morgan had much more interesting things to say. “You made a promise to Deirdre that you would stay in a relationship with her?” Lydia asked. Deirdre could do Deirdre but… how completely bizarre. She’d have to ask Deirdre about it sometime. “Yes, any such promise has incredible value. There is a separate danger there. When an unstoppable force hits an immovable object, what breaks? Usually, the person who has made two opposing unbreakable promises.” It was rather gruesome, really. It was horrifying. Lydia had seen it happen to a couple humans, but had once seen it happen to a gancanagh she knew, barely eighteen years old. The whole fae population had gone into mourning over it. “You watch your words, carefully. Any time you commit to something, any time you indicate a favour owed. It takes practice. That’s why I wanted you to learn this now.” Lydia leant forward, her eyes softer than the situation should suggest. “I appreciate your apology, darling. I don’t doubt your good nature.”
“Oh, no, that’s--” Morgan couldn’t help but scoff darkly. “That’s definitely not what happened. Not that I would ever fuck with our agency like that in the first place, but Deirdre--” Deirdre had been more livid, more hurt than Morgan had ever seen her before, or since. Everything was vanishing behind one locked door after another. Morgan, with her cursed track record, had feared the worst. All because of some stupid words she hadn’t understood. Morgan couldn’t bring herself to explain the horrible details, the guilt of having caused that kind of hurt still haunted her mind. It rose up, prickling her peace like needles whenever things grew tense between her and Deirdre, and when they were so light and calm, they seemed too good to last. But the unpleasantness of that day in the woods was clear on her face as she stared into the distance before resuming her painting. “She would’ve released me in two seconds if that had been what I was trying. We weren’t in a good place, when I gave her that promise. But I wanted…” What she had really wanted was for all the badness to stop. And for Deirdre to not give up on her own humanity just because Morgan had wounded her by mistake. But Morgan did not know how to tell Lydia any of this, or if she even wanted to.
“I wanted her to know that I would always be there for her,” she said at last. “Even if we never got back to the kind of place we were at before, I would still want to be there for her, if that was something she might...want. Even a little. No relationship conditions, she could have frozen me out for weeks or months, and asked me over for just an hour or a night or a week. When you care about someone enough...when you love them, it shouldn’t matter if you’re in a fight or broken up over some stupid mistake or you haven’t spoken in awhile. If you love them, you want to be there no matter what, as long as they want you to. But that’s hard for people to believe. And not everyone means things like ‘oh, i still wanna be your friend,’ ‘yeah you can still count on me.’ But I meant it. So I gave her a promise. If she ever decided she wanted to see me again, I’d come. She only had to ask for me.”
Morgan began to paint the drop of canvas she’d sectioned off a bright orange. Not at all like the amber fossil kept safely in their bedroom, but close as she could figure from her selections. “We worked things out on our own, eventually. She’s never pulled on that thread, even once. And I’d come without pressing her to take that measure, obviously. But I like knowing it's there. There’s no telling what could happen, and it’s still true, so…” She looked over at Lydia, a little heartened by her softness. She nodded at her words, accepting the gravity of her situation, why she might feel compelled to go to all this trouble. “I appreciate what you’re trying to do here. You must care about Deirdre a lot, to look out for us.”
Lydia listened. This hadn’t been intended to be a backdoor into Deirdre’s private relationship or private thoughts, but as Morgan explained, Lydia began to relax and ease. Not just because she had for a second believed that Deirdre would have accepted such an ethically questionable promise. She listened attentively as Morgan talked, watching the attention by which Morgan painted. She deliberately wasn’t watching the actual painting, willing it to be a surprise, and to ensure that Morgan wouldn’t feel too imposed on. Beyond the literal imposition, of course. “I’m rather relieved to hear that, I must admit. The alternative would have been alarming. For the both of you.” Lydia settled and rolled her shoulders, stretching wing muscles as she did. “It is still a major commitment, but I’m glad you thought it through with her. I’m glad you were there to help her.” She smiled, softly, at Morgan’s comment. “I do. She’s a wonderful woman. Ultimately, I want her to be happy. Everything else is secondary.”
Morgan painted as best she could, which was, honestly, not very well. She began to add what was meant to be a squirrel picking flowers, caught in the lens of the orange drop, but her inexpert strokes morphed the image into a strange brown blob, almost sinister. “You don’t have to worry about that with me. I love her,” she said simply, setting the brush aside. She stepped back from her work. Not an artistic vision by any means, but it was covered. She gave Lydia a sidelong glance, wincing at just how awful it looked next to the art surrounding her. “I, uh, I tried,” she said. “It’s...well, it’s supposed to be things I like, but you should maybe display it out by the dumpster.”
Love. Morgan had used that word twice now, so that it couldn’t be an accident. Deirdre had said many things, but she had said nothing of love. Lydia looked down to her hands for a moment, at the smooth skin and the burgundy nails she wore today. She wondered if she’d be so kind, if Morgan was still human. She wondered if she would have done this at all, if Morgan never had been. Lydia set those thoughts aside. There was an edge to this kindness, that if asked about, Lydia couldn’t deny. One that perhaps they would forget about in time. Morgan turned the easel, and Lydia raised an eyebrow at the monstrosity that Morgan revealed. “I wouldn’t throw it away, this is a gift. We’ll call it… dadaist modern art, and call it a day. I am very grateful, Morgan. For everything.”
Morgan couldn’t help but notice the silence around her declaration. She wondered if it had to do with her being only recently un-human’d. If she had been dead all along, would Lydia believe her more, would she see it more clearly? Or would it only look right to her with a pair of wings at her back and fae blood in her cold veins? She sighed, wrapping her arms around herself to hide the self-consciousness. Lydia was being kind, but it was the sort of kindness that gritted its teeth against something else. She should probably count herself lucky, she reminded herself, that Lydia was trying at all. That she had, in some spare moments, tried to extend whatever counted as friendship for her kind of fae towards Morgan. “I don’t think I’ve done all that much,” she said, side-eyeing her handiwork again. “But I appreciate you taking this time with me too. I’d like to get to be your friend too. At some point.”
“You made more of an effort than I expected. That has value,” Lydia replied softly. She stood up, smoothing her skirt. “I think I’d like that too, at some point,” Lydia replied in turn. Perhaps not today. Perhaps not in a month. Perhaps not while Remmy was made to hate themselves for saving Morgan from her curse. Some point, though. It was an easy, commitment to make. “I also think I’ve taken up more than enough of your time, as pleasant as it has been to get to know you better.” She smiled, looking at the painting one more time. “I am truly happy for you and Deirdre. I’m glad you have each other.” I hope it stays that way. Deirdre didn’t need more heartbreak. As Lydia showed Morgan to the door, she thought that Deirdre wasn’t the only one like that, either.

A/N: hi. sorry, i am the worst with uploading. but i got inspo for the first time in a millennia so here ya go!
[Y/n] wasn’t quite sure when she decided she loved him. It all just sort of clicked one day, like putting together the last few pieces of a puzzle you started ages ago. His seductive yet boyish smile and the way he could make any sentences sound like pure velvet falling from his lips. Even the strange things about Nick were enthralling to her, his passion for conjuring and necromancy, or tendency to literally show up anywhere.
[Y/n] had known him since she joined the academy and the two always just clicked. Clicked on all but one thing anyways. Love.
He always had a penchant for sex and a string of lovers at his choosing while [Y/n] found herself a hopeless romantic. He always argued that witches weren’t meant to love and monogamy was a concept created by mortals to make them feel less lonely. She liked the idea that two people could be meant for each other always. And her in eyes, Nick was that suddenly someone.
Sadly, she was not that to him. She wasn’t even sure he could have that with any other person because of his beliefs, but then Sabrina Spellman arrived. Nick seemed to be drawn to her like a bee to a flower, he took an immediate interest in the blonde the minute he saw her and [Y/n] viewed it as one of his usual sexual conquests. This was until she started to notice the little things. How Nick’s pupils would dilate around her and his persistence to flirt with her despite the knowledge that she seemed to already be in love with someone else. Every little interaction she watched between the two hit the classic points of every romance novel [Y/n] read. It made her bitter, but she couldn’t ever bring herself to be outwardly upset around him for fear he’d catch onto her feelings. She stuck herself in a sick cycle and eventually that cycle would come to an end.
Nick and [Y/n] were walking to class, her with the classic novel, The Princess Bride, in her hands and him running his mouth on everything and anything he could. The boy sure could talk a lot but she didn’t mind it, [Y/n] always considered herself a better listener anyways.
“Wait- What book are you reading now, [Y/n/n]? The Princess Bride? This is like the third cheesy mortal romance book this month, what is going on with you?” He quickly snapped it from her grasp, flipping through the pages with an eye roll and a smirk.
“First of all, this is not just a romance! This book is a fantasy masterpiece! And second, so what if I am? I like that lovey dovey stuff. You know that,” she snatched it back and held it under her crossed arms.
“I never understand why. [Y/n] you know-“ He began and she cut him off with a frown.
“I know you think witches can’t love, Nick, but-“
He took a step in front of her, staring down at her with a know-it-all expression he wore too often.
“It’s not that i think it, [y/n], I know it. it’s our biology.” And again the familiar debate seemed to have begun.
It always started out like this. Both of their eyes would turn darker and a small crease would form between her brows while he tried to seem more nonchalant to challenge her more passionate form.
“How can you be sure?” Her jaw clenched as she stared up at him and he almost seemed taken aback.
There was something about the way she said it that threw him off. An unfamiliar edge to her voice that hadn’t existed in their other arguments.
“Why? do you think you love someone? it’s a silly thing to do.” He chided and her cheeks turned a new shade of pink, he casually placed a light hand against her arm and she felt herself grip her book tighter.
“You’re right, it is. Perhaps then you should stop gawking at Sabrina like it isn’t.” She spat the words back at him so quickly that she didn’t even realize what she said till after the words left her mouth.
[Y/n]’s eyes went wide and she took a step back to leave his touch.
“[Y/n]... what are you-“
“You know what I’m talking about, Nick. Don’t act like you don’t have real feelings for her.” She stuck to her words though, instead of following the urges in her body telling her to run from the situation as fast as humanly possible.
“Where is this coming from? What does it matter if I do?” His composure broke and he now had the telltale signs of confusion and frustration crossing his handsome features.
“It matters because you’re a hypocrite! I see the way you look at Sabrina. You flirt with her more than any other girl in this school! It’s so obvious that you have emotional feelings for her. And if you can have those feelings then that means that love for witches is possible! ... I guess it’s just not possible for-“ She stopped herself from finishing the sentence, from saying the final word she was afraid could ruin everything.
Us.
Nick was about to respond when a familiar blonde turned the corner into the hallway the two found themselves situated in. [Y/n] caught sight of her behind Nick, and it was obvious by the girl’s face that she had heard everything. She felt her eyes well up and looked up to the ceiling to blink the tears away.
“Whatever, I have to get to class. Why don’t you walk Sabrina to hers.” She spitefully ended the conversation, stepping past him and Sabrina on her way out of the hall.
Needless to say the pair were speechless.

“So... what was that?” Sabrina Spellman finally asked Nick as the two had walked what she had deemed for enough away.
“I honestly don’t know. We’ve had that same argument over a thousand times before, but it’s never turned out like that.” A frown had unnaturally day on his face like it was stuck on there with a pair of hammers and nails.
“What do you mean?” She asked, curiosity reigning like usual in her mind.
Nick paused for a second, head still replaying the altercation in his head. He couldn’t get the distraught, teary-eyed, face of one of his closest friends out of his mind.
“Love. She has always had this fantasy that witches can be more than polygamous creatures of the night, that we can have soulmates. It’s a cute notion, but not something I think is possible. At least, I did think that...” He dragged two stressed hands down the sides of his face with the blonde watching with a near analytical expression.
“Maybe she’s upset because you’re feeling things for someone that you can’t be with... and not someone that you can.” She had an eyebrow raised but a familiar smirk on her face, it was the kind of smirk she had when she solved any problem.
“Was it that obvious I cared for you?” An awkward hand scratched the back of his neck as Sabrina shook her head with an eye roll.
“Nicholas Scratch, subtly is a character trait you severely lack in. And I am clearly not the only person who’s noticed.” At her words he felt his shoulders slump with a wide-eyed realization hitting him like a ton of bricks.
He paid so much attention to Sabrina since she came into his life that he missed all the signs sitting next to him since day one. How [Y/n]’s face would slightly falter whenever he made it a point for them to accompany the blonde virtually anywhere she went, or the eye roll which would occur whenever he joked that Sabrina should be with him and her mortal beau. The way these arguments about love began in the first place. It started when he met Sabrina. Nick sighed with a curse under his breath, “Oh I am an idiot.”
“Not an idiot,” she countered with a kind smile, “just unobservant. I mean you told me yourself that you wish you could have what Harvey and I have... maybe you can, just not with me.”
He considered her words carefully, eyes clouding in thought while his hands raked through his dark hair.
“Even if it was possible... I think I fucked it up too much for it to happen now.” Sabrina took a step in front of him, an all-knowing twinkle in her eyes that he wasn’t sure he would ever stop admiring.
“Don’t just go to her because I told you to or because you can’t have me. [Y/n] is a good person, she deserves someone who really cares for her. She also needs some space, trust me,” her hand clenched his shoulder in a comforting manner and took it upon herself to walk off.
And this left Nick Scratch alone. Alone and left to contemplate everything and anything all at once.

[Y/n] was outside of the Academy on the front steps. Classes were over and her nose was heavily vested in The Princess Bride to distract herself from the emotions swirling around her head. She knew that Nick would never return those feelings to her and now she was sure she lost his friendship as well. Even still, [Y/n] couldn’t stop replaying the good moments in her mind. The kinds of scenarios that let her think she had even the tiniest chance in the first place. Like how he flirted with her the very first day he met her because she were too busy working on Sacred Geometry to even spare him a passing glance and that intrigued him. Or when she convinced him to watch mortal horror movies with her and he let [Y/n] curl around his torso whenever they got too scary. It was just little things, but they were enough to make her fall in love with him in the first place. But that was all over now, this was clear to her.
She closed her book when she noticed an involuntary tear dropped onto a page as she read. [Y/n] wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about him. It made her feel terrible, like a dumb school girl who let a boy ruin everything. She was a powerful and smart young witch, but stumped by what Nick seemed we’re silly mortal emotions. Her eyes looked up to the forest around the Academy, calming down as she just looked at the nature in front of her. She would get over him, it’d just take some time and separation.
“[Y/n],” she heard him say from behind her and a frown made its way onto her face.
“What do you want, Nick?” It would seem that she wouldn’t be granted the separation she now painfully wished for.
“Just.. let me talk for a second, please. And if you still hate me after then I’ll leave you alone,” he stepped down in front of her with pleading dark eyes and she raised her eyebrow as a way of letting him speak despite not wanting to hear a word.
“I was an idiot, [Y/n]. And I am truly sorry for that. I didn’t realize how much of a jerk I was being, but maybe that was because I was feeling things I didn’t want- didn’t think I could feel-“ her frown deepened, he felt things for Sabrina, she knew it.
“Nick, I don’t want to hear about how much you like her, I’m happy that you acknowledge you can feel these things but-“
“Not Sabrina, [Y/n]. Okay, maybe a little bit but I think she only made me realize what I was ignoring the whole time. You’ve been my closest friend since I came here. You’re smart and passionate and just about as stubborn as I am, for as frustrating as that is. But you’ve also given me something that no one else has. All of my other relationships, they weren’t about feelings or love, at least truly. They were about sex, and I thought that was all I could ever have. But you’ve always been here.” [Y/n] felt confusion cross her features at his words and how his eyes never left her own, they were honest and filled with an emotion she couldn’t pinpoint.
“You care about me and tell me when I’m wrong. I feel alone whenever I’m without you. And when you’re mad at me, Satan, I always want to fix it so I can see you happy again! What I’m saying is, you’re my best friend and I was an asshole but that was because I was blind... maybe even denying the simple fact that I love you.”
[Y/n] was speechless. Her face was red, lips partially open as no words were able to leave her mouth.
Her heart felt like it was about to burst and Nick could almost see her features freeze in a bout of confusion. She couldn’t decide if she was mad or happy or heartbroken, but as she looked into his eyes everything seemed to calm. [Y/n] knew what to do, she had dreamed of it though never thought she’d get to carry it out. Her eyes dipped down to his lips for barely a second but it was long enough for him to recognize it and do the same. Every mortal novel she had read, couldn’t prepare her for this. But she acted on it all the same. [Y/n] cupped his face in her hands and he did the same, the two pulling each other until their lips met in a passionate kiss to rival any words written in her books. His lips were like velvet against her own and they immediately adjusted to a rhythm like they had this kiss a thousand times before. She soon pulled away from him for air and their foreheads still stayed locked, breaths intermingling with their eyes closed. “Maybe your mortal books did have the right idea,” Nick smiled and she could feel the same laugh rise in her throat that he always managed to pull from her.

WELCOME TO JUMANJI. as you know, jumanji is in grave danger. we’re counting on you to lift the curse. we need your help at once! I was hired by professor russell van pelt to lead a faithful expedition. you see, professor van pelt had come in search of the fabled jaguar shrine, resting place of the sacred jewel of jumanji. the jewel was his great obsession, and after years of research, he believed he had discovered his whereabouts. van pelt told me that he wanted to find the jewel in order to document it in his writings.
what I did not know was that he intended to take the jewel for himself.
legend tells that the jaguar watches over jumanji, and anyone who dares to blind him will be consumed by a dark power. van pelt assumed dominion over all of jumanji’s creatures, possessing them, controlling them, and a terrible curse befell this once blessed land.
I begged him to put it back, but once he had it in his grasp, he could never let it go. so, I waited until they slept that night, and I made my move.
with the invaluable help of your associates, you must return the jewel to the jaguar’s eye, and lift the curse. good luck! the fate of jumanji is in your hands.

6. Tension
I’ve always loved the line, “Have courage and be kind,” from Cinderella, so I’m using it here.

Calla wasn’t really sure what started the fight, but she could feel the tension brewing beneath the surface all the same. Lialyah was clenching her fork with defiance in her eyes, and Soraya was looking between her and her mama, clearly afraid of what was going to happen next. Calla cleared her throat.
“Caia, please take Soraya out to the greenhouse. The plants need tending.” Soraya all but bolted out the door while Caia collected their plates at a more sedate pace and placed them on the counter. Calla wished she would hurry up. The door shut, and Lialyah flung her fork across the table. Calla caught it with practised ease.
“Did you even try? Did you even try to get the mommies and daddies out?” Calla’s face remained neutral as she rearranged food on her plate. “Everyone at school blames you, you know, for losing their parents. Why didn’t you beam them out, too?” Lialyah cried.
“Lialyah, it was an impossible task. There was no way to match up the children we beamed out with the adults we beamed out. There wasn’t time. We just took everyone we could. The captains of the other ships- the ones who took people off the streets physically- will tell you the same thing.”
“Why didn’t you get mother?” Ah, the real root of the problem.
“I tried to, but she was not at home, and she was not at the Academy. I could not locate her.”
“You didn’t look hard enough!” Lialyah cried angrily. Secretly, Calla agreed with her, but she couldn’t tell her five year old that. “If you had looked harder, maybe we could have taken her to the Fragment! Maybe she wouldn’t have been hurt and needed the Fragment at all!” All of this had played through Calla’s mind a thousand times before. She did not know why she had failed to find her late wife, and it kept her awake most nights, digging her fingers into the damp earth around the Risa lilies.
Lialyah’s plate went flying next, and before Calla knew it, the girl was also flying- out the door. Calla was on her feet immediately, after her. She tackled the sobbing girl about a second after she had banged on Sarek and Amanda’s side door and was in the process of dragging her back to their own dwelling when Amanda opened the door and saw Lialyah struggling in Calla’s arms. Her brow knit with concern.
“I apologise for the intrusion,” Calla began, Lialyah wailing in her arms. “She threw a plate and was out the door before I could grab her. She’s not happy with me right now.”
Amanda merely held out her arms for the struggling girl. Calla looked at Amanda again. “Are you sure?”
“Well, she wanted one of us for a reason.” Calla released Lialyah, and she went hurtling into Amanda’s arms. Calla stood limply in the yard between the two houses.
“I don’t know what to do with her anymore,” Calla confessed. “She blames me for N’kaia’s death.” I blame me for N’kaia’s death, too. “I will collect her in an hour.”
“How about I bring her back when she’s ready?”
“That may take more time than you have.”
“We’ll see. Go do something for yourself now.” Calla shrugged a little and let Amanda take Lialyah into her house. She herself walked back to the greenhouse to let Caia and Soraya know that it was safe to come back in. She then retreated back to her bedroom and locked the door, heeding Amanda’s words.

It would be late on Illyria, but she thought perhaps her parents would still be awake, so she tried them on her PADD. They looked as if they had been preparing for bed, but they were pleased nonetheless to see her. Their pleasure turned to concern the moment they saw her face.
“I don’t know what to do,” she confessed. “Ever since N’kaia died, I have been adrift. My own child says she hates me. I am so close to quitting the ambassadorship and bringing both of the girls back to Illyria where I can hand them off to the Schools to raise them. That’s how much I don’t believe I can raise them myself, even with Caia and Sarek and Amanda. Lialyah is with Amanda now, telling her Alchemy knows what. Soraya is terrified of our fights. She barely talks. I have one child that screams and another that won’t talk at all. And I...I am broken. I dream of N’kaia’s hand slipping out of mine on Vulcan. I dream of things that did not even happen. I dream of the destruction of the planet I held dear over and over again.” Calla went on like this, voicing her fears and her pains like she never had with her parents before until she fell silent.
“My sweet child, you do not deserve to suffer like this,” her mother said. “You really should look into a mind healer, for all of you. You have been through so much in the past six months, more than most people experience in a lifetime. It isn’t fair to expect yourself to process it on your own. Contact House Larynth tomorrow. They will be able to help you.” Calla hung her head. “It is not a weakness to need help, my child. Many good people see mind healers.”
“I suppose you’re right. It’s just that the culture is so different here. Emotion is suppressed and hidden here and…”
“And you are not Vulcan, my dear,” her father pointed out. “No matter how long you have spent on the planet. Your children are also only half-Vulcan. Furlings are a passionate people. Your children will need a little extra help learning the balance between Vulcan and Furling handling of their emotions.”
“But I didn’t have this problem growing up!”
“You are remembering your childhood rather differently, then. You were...rather volatile. Before your Rite, you wholly embraced your emotions. You hated everything to do with Vulcan. You wouldn’t have anything to do with the way of logic if it killed you. You begged us to leave you on Illyria after your Rite. Of course, we brought you back with us. You told us you hated us then, as Lialyah tells you she hates you now. You settled down after that. Whatever you saw in your sacred geometry, you embraced Vulcan. You embraced logic, and you were no longer the passionate young woman you once were. Oh, your emotions came out here and there. You weren’t a total student of logic. What I’m getting at is that if Lialyah is anything like you, she may do a complete turnabout in the way she controls her emotions as she ages. It’s okay for her to embrace her emotions as a Furling, and it’s okay for her to embrace them as a Vulcan would. You cannot force her to go one way or another. But what it does sound like is that she is hurting very deeply and is very confused about how she feels and would benefit greatly from a mind healer. That much you can help her with.”
“A mind healer is only going to be able to do so much, though, since we’re so far from Illyria. They need direct contact to do their work, I thought.”
“They do, this is true. But there is a Furling colony on Earth. Surely they will allow you some time away from New Vulcan to take yourself and the girls there for a week or two? Earth isn’t that far from New Vulcan.”
“I can ask…”
“You must. Your wellbeing must come first. If you cannot put your own wellbeing first, you should at least put Lialyah and Soraya first.”
“Yes. The girls must come first.” Calla looked at the clock in the corner of the screen. “I must check on Amanda and Lialyah. I don’t want to impose on Amanda more than I must. And I interrupted you two getting to bed. Thank you for talking me through this.”
“We are always here for you, Calla. Any hour.”
“Thank you, mother and father.”
“Let us know how things progress. And promise us you will contact House Larynth tomorrow.”
“I promise.”

Sarek left Lialyah to Amanda and retired to his study. The little girl was sobbing so hard that she was almost hyperventilating. Amanda focused on trying to get the little girl to breathe. She led her to the guest room and sat her on the bed, wrapping her arms around her.
“Now what has gotten you so wound up, little one?”
In between sobs and halting breaths, Amanda got out of the little girl that, “Mama hadn’t tried hard enough to save Mother.” Amanda’s heart broke. She knew that Calla had done everything she could to find N’kaia and that she had tried repeatedly to tell her girls this, but it apparently hadn’t gotten through.
Slowly, the sobs stopped, and Amanda stroked the girl’s braids. “What can we do to make you feel better now? How about some tea?”
“I want to talk to Spock,” the girl said, her breath shaky.
“Oh honey,” Amanda began, her voice hesitant. “I’m sure he’s probably asleep by now.”
“But he makes things make sense,” the Lialyah said, a whine in her voice.
“Well, let me see. I can’t promise,” Amanda said, warning in her voice. “Go sit at the kitchen table. I’ll make tea while you wait.” She set tea to brew, then went into Sarek’s study. She returned some minutes later with a PADD and set it on a stand in front of Lialyah, then went to fetch tea.
“Lialyah,” Spock said. “You are in distress.” The little girl squirmed in her chair as Amanda set tea before her.
“I hate my mama,” she told Spock, matter of factly. Spock frowned at her.
“That is not a kind thing to say, Lialyah.”
“It’s true.”
“Why do you hate your mother?”
“She let mother die. And then she didn’t get the body. And she also let so many other mommies and daddies die. That’s what everyone at school says.”
“Lialyah, your mama saved a lot of people, including the people at your school. That is very unfair of them to say that she let those people die. Her decisions saved a great deal of people.”
“You sound like her.”
“It’s true. The ship you lived on, the Corinth, saved over 600 Vulcans that would have died otherwise. And the ship that travelled with it, the Caspian, saved even more.”
“But the mommies and daddies-”
“Lialyah, there was no way to match up who was saved.”
“That’s what she said!”
“And she was right. We only had about 15 minutes from the time we found out that Vulcan was being destroyed to the time that it was gone. We were grabbing people off of the streets as we saw them. Your mother ordered her captain to take children out of the schools and then beamed down to the planet to look for your mother as soon as she knew you and your sister were aboard. She ran and looked everywhere that was logical. She could not find N’kaia. Lialyah, they almost did not get your mother back on board the Corinth before Vulcan was swallowed by the black hole. You almost lost both of your mothers. You have to stop blaming your mama for the loss of your mother.” Lialyah was looking down into her cup of tea.
“The other children at school…”
“They are being cruel and illogical because they are in pain. They lost their parents and are jealous that you still have your sister and a parent. You must learn to ignore their insults and their jibes. Do you remember what I told you the first time we talked?”
“That I must be brave and good.”
“Yes. It still applies here. You must still be brave and good. Your mama is still very sad. You and your sister are still very sad. Your mama is doing the best she can. She brought in Caia to help. You like Caia, do you not?”
“Yes,” Lialyah said quietly. “She always takes us on walks by the shipyards and the big greenhouses. Sometimes they let us go into the greenhouses if we promise not to touch anything.”
“Things will get better if you give them time. They got better from being on the ship, did they not?”
“Yes. We have a pretty house, and the Risa lilies bloomed, and we have a telescope.”
“See? Then you know that with patience, things will get better.”
“Caia says that we must have courage and be kind.”
“She is right. Be kind to the other children. They have lost a lot. If kindness is not enough to change them, then ignore them.”
“Alright...thank you for talking to me, Spock. You always know what to say, just like mother did. You would have liked her. She was really smart, just like you. That’s why I like talking to you. It’s kind of like having mother back, only you’re a boy.” Spock couldn’t help the small smile he gave the girl.
Calla was leaning against the doorframe, watching the latter half of the exchange. Her daughter hadn’t noticed her come in, too engrossed in her conversation with Spock. If he hadn’t been Vulcan, Calla thought that Spock would have made a half-decent mind healer. The PADD turned off, and Lialyah looked to Amanda, and then to the door behind her. She cringed.
“It’s okay, Lialyah,” Calla said softly, a note of tiredness creeping into her voice. “For now, you’re not in trouble. We’ll...discuss this later. It’s bedtime now.” Lialyah relaxed. “Thank Amanda for letting you over.” The little girl did so and hugged the older woman.

The next morning, Sarek and Amanda saw the Corinth quartet off in the shipyards. They were bound for Earth, to the Furling colony there.
“We’ll be gone for two weeks,” Calla said. The girls and Caia were already aboard the shuttle. “I’ll bring back the things you asked for, Amanda. This will be good for all of us. The girls and I will get the help we need, and Caia will enjoy exploring Earth.”
Amanda touched Calla’s arm. “I’m glad that you’re finally doing this,” she said softly. Calla put a hand over Amanda’s.
“I’m sorry I didn’t do it sooner, for the girls’ sake.”
“There was a lot going on. But it’s happening now, and that’s all that counts.”
Sarek held up a hand. “Live long and prosper.”
Calla held up her own hand. “Peace and long life.”

In comparison to Jimin’s second Past Life Reading which was done as an extension to the original Past Life Reading, Yoongi’s is purely contained within this reading with this new spread. Of course, my personal way of actually tapping into past lives hasn’t changed so I still got a lot of visual information from that channel prior to actually bringing the cards in as conduits. There was a lot of very interesting stuff that came through with this one so I definitely want to start everything off with laying out what I was seeing for Yoongi.
The first thing that I saw was a waterfall that was running down the side of a very high cliff. The water was falling and collecting in a wide but well-contained body of water, about the size of a small pond. My attention was brought to the rock behind the waterfall where there was crystal embedded in the rock. It wasn’t poking out or anything, it was flush with the surface of the rock, but it reflected light through the waterfall.
The first thing that popped into my head was that this was a long, long, LONG time ago and he was walking the earth as some kind of mystic. Turns out I was on the right track, but rather than purely a mystic he was a healer. I had a visual of him, (looking very, very similar to how he looks now btw), stepping into the body of water, approaching the waterfall, and then letting the water run over his hands. It’s difficult for me to really put into words what was happening there as it was an energetic exchange, charge, cleanse sort of thing happening where he was dead ass using a crystal-infused waterfall to help him with his work.
For a while, I was wondering if this lifetime that I was seeing had even taken place on earth because it was so beyond what I could picture as relating to a physical situation, like full-on some Atlantis shit with how he was working with crystals for healing purposes. Compared to how people used crystals a long time ago, how they’re meant to be used, we in the modern age haven’t even come close to scratching the surface of how they can be used. He was on that shit. It wasn’t, “oh let me go grab my quartz and put on your head to make you feel better,” kind of thing, it was like he was harvesting and exchanging energy from all of these sources at once.
The crystal in the rock had its own vibration that was being charged by the Earth’s energy and the Moon’s light, then it was being pushed and pulled by the water that was running over it, which was being “pulled” by the Moon, before settling and blending with the Earth in that pool. Then once Yoongi stepped into the pool of water, he was like becoming part of this big web of energetic exchange and of extremely high frequencies and alignment that was literally giving him very strong abilities to heal. And when I say “heal,” I don’t just mean physically, I mean, mentally, emotionally, energetically, spiritually.

Book Of Shadows
There are two main books used by Witches with their Craft. The Grimoire, and the Book of Shadows. Both books are used to collect information related to the Craft. The Grimoire is often used by a Coven. It includes the Coven rules, rituals, and practices, and is otherwise much like a textbook for Magick. They rarely have personal notes or observations. The Book of Shadows is a personal Grimoire, a shadow of the self. Many Witches never show their Book of Shadows to anyone. It has everything a Grimoire has but created by the individual Witch, plus it will have personal information, thoughts, observations, and rituals.
While a single book is the stereo-type, many Witches will have multiple books, divided by topics or dates. An encyclopedia of Grimoires. There is a lot of information that can go into this book, each one as unique as the person owning it. Below is a very long list of ideas.
