the lesbians in my phone are loving my caitvi reblogs so heres my thoughts on the sex scene that i havent seen anyone else say:

in the lead up to act 3, i saw a lot of people saying that they wanted the sex to be really toxic (which is awesome and cool btw), and to have it right after an argument (we love toxic yuri)

but instead, we got it in the most vulnerable and exposed of places (a prison cell), and when vi is at one of her lowest points. and wait does cait do? show her trust and love for vi ("you really thought i needed all the guards at the hexgates?").

basically, my point is that in their lowest moments, after everything, they truly trust each other. cait knows that vi will always choose jinx over her, and shes okay with that.

It turns out I do know the answer to that! Admittedly I'm not sure if this was a thing in the original Broadway show, but it is in US tour 5 and some other productions so I assume it came from Broadway.

It happens after the bows end-- in pretty much all productions after the bows are done, everyone acts silly for a few minutes while one of the songs plays, and then everyone leaves the stage one-by-one, with Tugger being the last one to go. Sometimes once everyone else is gone he'll encourage the audience to clap by generally acting silly or whatever on his way out, as a comedy thing.

However in some productions he and Bomba have a gimmick at the end of the bows that they do together, though what precisely they do changes depending on production + performers.

In the Dutch Tour he does this to her

Berlin is a little saucier

But in US Tour 5 (which is a descendant of the original Broadway) she does this to him

Nothing but respect for my president

So that's what I assume that bit is referring to!
