saint in game characterization you are so baffling and incomprehensible to me
#pers#watching last years dawning with all that dialogue about how hes the kindest person ever hes so niiiiice omg hes so nice ^-^#which is not at all how much of his character is written??? hes written FAR more interestingly imo#like i really liked how in season of dawn he was this sort of unstoppable force that didnt know the end of war#this sort of myth made real that still almost acted like a myth. nice was not particularly part of it!#and i know he helped defend the eliksni but i wouldnt say that was like. a particularly kind action#like everyone was there......i know its in the lore in places#and i know one of his more famous old lore cards was the one about feeding the pigeons like oh hes nice or whatever#but i just dont quite understand it. and it FRUSTRATES ME#i was a saint liker back in d1!!!!! i was so excited to actually see him in game!!!!! im literally gay#and its not even the like slow wethering off of the edges that has happened to a LOTTT of characters#its like. beginning of the season of the lost hes characterized interestingly. i love him in that first mission.#and at the end theyre like his heart is so big....where did it come from!!! wheres the connection!!!1#i dont understand it. idk why it bugs me so much
