I personally view Finwe as just a really sad little elf.

Not that he’s depressed (well he is but that’s besides the point) more that he constantly tries to be cool and just… fails.

And it’s not that he can’t be cool (this guy literally was chosen to be king, no way he can be that much of a looser) but whenever he actively tries to be cool, it flops on it’s face.

It got worse when Miriel died. Now he’s just known as the kind of pathetic king of the noldor (though if you were to say so outloud you will be immediately shushed).

The funniest thing about House MD to me is that all the shippers are right. House and Wilson really are just Like That. I'm so used to big ships being completely noncanon or distant subtext at best. Not Hilson. They have a fake dating episode. In the episode where House mocks a gay man for being in denial, the multi-episode-long subplot is about him trying to break up Wilson's relationship because he's jealous and wants him to himself. Wilson, his best friend and person whom he lives with. This show is insane.
