#i want to see the casting for young dalinar in oathbringer

imagine getting cast as gavilar in a stormlight adaptation (animated, or live action i'll be happy with both).

He has two minutes of screentime. he turns out to be a douchebag by season four. he is dead by the first episode. yeah you'll be a perfect fit for him.

Hi, it's njasnyah again! I know you like both these fandoms, so: if the TLC characters and SA characters were tossed in a room together, who do you think would be friends and who would hate each other?

I love this Kay! I might have to make some comic strips and draw some art here now or something, it's brilliant!

Forgive me if I just picked a couple of main characters and went with them but Stormlight's cast is huge and I don't fully know the dynamic each person might have, this is guesswork here. Plus this is already long enough as it is lol.

-Cinder and Kaladin I feel would enjoy being grumpy at people and sarcastic together, and they've both lost a younger sibling who mattered a lot to them, had ridiculous pressure placed on them while they were still young, and dealt with prejudice for things they didn't control which I feel would bring them closer together once they open up about their lives. "they hated you for your eyes? That sucks, screw them. See this metal hand?" "Watching the sibling you'd give up everything for die? That must have been horrible, I feel you bro."

-Shallan and Cress? I'd say pretty great friends. They both do a lot of acting to deal with the stress they're going through and they have their own forms of art I feel they'd bond over (Cress coding, Shallan drawing) plus they're both anxious little things (and they'd spend a lot of time complaining about heights too!) and they tend to be underestimated a lot.

-Jasnah and Jacin I could see having a kind of understanding. He's smart, stubborn and not always the most likable, she's cold at times, intense, stubborn and logical, both of them can be very intense, and they would also go to great lengths to help the causes they care about and keep their loved ones safe.

-Iko and Syl. Bruh. And they'd get Adolin over there with them too. A lot of bubbly excitement and discussions of clothes would go down. I also feel like Syl's becoming more human is something Iko could relate to and really love.

-Wolf is also very protective of his friends and I could see a bond forming between him and Kaladin there.

-Kaladin… would probably not like Thorne. He's not really into the whole self-absorbed, teasing, god's gift type of person and would likely find Thorne very annoying. Which would inevitably endear Kaladin to Jacin a bit more.

-Kaladin would likely leave that room with the intense need to make sure that Cress and Winter were protected at all costs. The sweet innocents must be kept safe. That might also endear Kaladin to Jacin more.

-Wit would enjoy making fun of people, Thorne in particular I'd bet. Scarlet would be very amused by this as would the rest of the crew and she'd try to be there for these enjoyable moments so she could crack up over Thorne some more.

-Adolin… might get along with Thorne really well. Strict parents, the joy of looking good, Adolin's while of excessive flirting that Thorne didn't ever really grow out of. Aside from that they're both pretty open and friendly and I could imagine Adolin trying to make Kaladin smile while Thorne eggs him on in the background. It would probably end with Thorne getting embarrassed somehow and Kaladin chuckling at that but you know, mission accomplished.

-I'm pretty sure it's safe to say everyone would like Winter in their own special ways.

-Jacin finds out Kaladin's also a surgeon/soldier? One who has spent a lot of time trying to help his maybe kinda not stable friends and keep them safe? Those seeds of endearment from earlier are strengthened a lot.

-Kai and Adolin. Both of them have to figure out how to lead the people under their charge in their own way and they both have a lot of pressure on them. Yet they also want to help their friends and in books like winter and oathbringer/rhythm of war they both had the whole "Everyone else has their use or is crazy powerful, what am I?" they also deeply love their weird wives/girlfriends (depending when this takes place) and have lost parental figures and done dumb stuff that disappoints their other parental figures. (idk I'm not good with friendship but this is really turning into just how-much-can-i-match-up-with-these-two-different-characters)

-Navani is fascinated by Cinder's Mechanical knowledge and that becomes a friendship builder for them.

-Wolf and Lift eat tomatoes together

-Torin and Dalinar both speak fondly of their insane countries they help run and their kids' (kai counts as Torin's kid don't question) insanity yet also amazingness and maturity.

If anyone else has thoughts or something they’d like to add or they feel I portrayed wrong by all means add on to this. I might add a messy sketch I started of this mess later but for now ta-da! hopefully this was what you were going for.
