OK SO REBELLION IS MY MAIN BBY RN i love itttt

I’ve mentioned earlier taht it’s gone by a few names at this point like Sonic Boom: Underground (sb:u) and Trouble Keeps you Running Faster (tkyrf) but Sonic Rebellious is prolly gonna be the finalized name 💙💙💙

ANYWAYS it’s a continuation of both Sonic Underground and Sonic Boom, where the events of Sonic Boom take place 10 years after Underground.

A LITTLE is changed abt underground, but for the most part, unless it comes up in the current day of the story (like the backstory between manic and rouge) its probably the same. The backtory for the story, though, is that shortly after the events of underground, the triplets adopted tails as their little brother, before Manic goot killed defending them (he's not actually dead, just captured, but they don't know that.) The grief tore Sonic and Sonia apart, Sonic wanting to run away from the war to keep Tails safe, while Sonia felt bound by a sense of duty. They ended up parting on bad terms, both feeling hurt at the other's descision (Sonia felt it was selfish for Sonic to run, while Sonic felt that Sonia didn't care enough about them to come with).

Meanwhile, Knuckles, guided by a spirit of his people (Tikal) ends up shattering the Master Emerald in a ritual designed to nullify the Chaos Emeralds' power until it can be reformed, in order to keep any from falling into Robotnik's hands again. Unfortunately, the ritual was originally designed so each member of the tribe would have a piece of their mind linked to a shard so they could recover their piece when the time came to rebuild the Master Emerald. However, since Knuckles is the last, his sole mind took on the responsibility of the entire tribe, shattering across the planet along with the shards. As long as he kept one piece, he could retain his mind and memories, but he didn't trust himself to keep it safe in his state, and so he entrusted it to Sonia, losing his memories in the process.

Timeskip to ten years later, Sonic and Tails have made their way and settled into Bygone Island, as has Knuckles, and they, along with Amy, a resident of the island, teamed up to continuously take down Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, the son of Dr. Julian Robotnik. (They're two seperate characters bc I didn't want to deal with the logistics of making them the same and I felt it would be a neat dynamic. Eggman also mentions having a dad in the show, and it's implied he doesn't have a good relationship with him, so I felt it would work to make them father and son. I'm gonna mention them a lot so from here on: Eggman is the one from Sonic Boom, and Robotnik is the one from Underground).

They've become a pretty close-knit group, with on-again-off-again member Sticks, when suddenly Sonia shows up out of the blue and kinda throws a wrench in everything simply by being there. Meanwhile, Shadow, who works for and believes himself to be created by Robotnik, has grown fed up with his treatment of Manic, who he has secretly bonded with over the years, and breaks him out of his prison. The events of the finale of Boom, where Shadow tries to destroy the multiverse by trappng the two alternate versions of Eggman in his cave hideout, was a test. If they failed, then the multiverse would be destroyed, which Shadow saw as a potentially favorable outcome, but the more likely (as well as his preffered) outcome was that they succeed, and Shadow would be able to trust them to take care of Manic, as he knew he wouldn't be able to for long, since he works for Robotnik (Shadow doesn't know they're siblings at this point)

So Shadow breaks Manic out of prison and has him stay in his cave hideout for a bit while he recovers, and then Shadow goes back to get his medallion. However, Robotnik catches him as he gets it, and so he has to get back to the village as fast as he can. Unfortunately, when Sonic sees Shadow with Manic's medallion (WHo he still presumes is dead), he assumes the worst and flips out and they get in a huge fight. Shadow ends up trying to get back to Manic, only for Sonic and SOnia to chase him down, resulting in their reunion.

Eventually, though, Robotnik catches up, and the village is destroyed. The team does their best to evacuate the villagers, but its only when Eggman is convinced to help do they manage to escape with minimal casualties. (Its for complicated reasons; he says it's because he can't rule over the village if there's no villagers to rule over, but in actuality he's grown attached to Sonic and his friends, and also wants to make a stand against his father and step out of his control).

As they leave the island to return to Robotropolis, Sonia returns the Master Emerald shard Knuckles gave her, restoring a piece of his memory.

ANYWAY thats the beginning of the story and theres a LOT more after that but I haven't decided on an order for everything past that yet RIP

Cursed Planet / Ruined World

OKAY so these two are techincally the same paracosm with two different casts of characters, one being all fully original characters, the other being mostly canon characters from different media and a handful of fancharacters. HOWEVER, since there's no real plot, I'm gonna talk about the setting, because that's the actual important thing in these two.

The City exists in a pocket dimension, created by an entity that feeds off of the despair and suffering of the living. While she can change and control the entire City on a whim, and create literally anything in her domain, she can't feed off of what she creates, and so she pulls beings from other dimensions to be transported to The City.

The City itself is constantly changing, and only exists as an actual city in its current iteration. It is warped, eldritch, and twists itself to the perception of its inhabitants. The more people fear a place, the more twisted and horrifying it becomes, to match its perception.

Fears increase at night, and so the City becomes more dangerous. That shadow out of the corner of your eye is always exactly what you fear it to be.

While the City itself is entirely under the entity's control, the people she summons to inhabit it aren't, and so she cannot just cause them to suffer. She must use the city to bring them to despair, but the human spirit is indomitable, and hope always has the chance to win out.

(Here's where the main difference in the two lays, the original characters one is mostly cynical assholes with one or two rays of sunshine like Alice Read and Sveta, and their groups tend to struggle a lot more with keeping morale up. Meanwhile, the fandom one has Sonic the g-ddamn Hedgehog, who will literally kill g-d to bring hope to his friends, so, like, the entity's kinds fucked with him around)

Don't Split the Party

this is the one ive had for like, the longst, and its just me putting every character ive ever liked in a dnd settign. It's so big at this point that it doesn't really have one plot, it's an entire world where every person has their own thing going on. The main ones I can think of are Sonic Wachowski, an Elven Ranger going off to save his adopted parents, only to find out that his fox familiar is a shapeshifting Artificer boy, and the misadventures of the Red Guild, particularly Scout as he runs around with Justice and Alyx, a Tiefling Bard and a Fairy Artificer. There's also my parame Rua, the Half-Elf Ranger, and their adventures with their adopted sisters, and their boyfriend Barney Calhoun, a Human Paladin.

There's a LOT going on in that one, so I can't really go over all of it here. A lot of it also follows storylines of other paracosms, just switched to a DnD setting.

Forces: Reloaded

Honestly shoud be called Sonic: Reloaded at this point, as it's gone from a simple Sonic Forces rewrite to an entire paracosm spanning from 06 to Frontiers, and even further, as I even included an adapted version of the Metarex Sage from Sonic X, which is currently the final point in the timeline, though I'm sure that'll change soon enough.

A lot of the changes are about adding or swapping characters around, such as the plotline of Sonic 06. I've written this one up already, so I'll paste it here:

OKAY so Stella replaces Elise as the vessel for Iblis, her father purposefully using them to house the deity, all while Elise stealthily watched. So Elise KNOWS that Stella holds Iblis, and so does everything in her power to keep it contained.

When Stella gets kidnapped by Eggman, Elise wants to go after him to keep Iblis from being unleashed, but can’t leave her station as monarch, and so she sends one of her guards, not knowing that a. Sonic is already on it and b. Stella is having a blast making Eggman miserable and breaking out on their own.

So Elise's role is pulled back to be a lot more of an authority figure, she's the royalty while Stella (the oc) is the 'damseled' one. One major difference this brings is there's no romance between Elise and Sonic, transferring over instead to Stella and Dusk (the guard Elise sends to rescue Stella). I haven't played 06 in a long while, so all this may be subject to change. I just wanted Stella (my self-insert) to be introduced in Sonic 06, as it was my first Sonic game and was what got me into the series in the first place.

Skipping ahead to Forces, as it was the original main focus of the paracosm and as such is the most in-depth, the story starts out the same, with Sonic being very abruptly defeated by Infinite. Except, unlike the game, where he just summons illusions of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Chaos 0 and Zavok before kicking him around for a bit, he... oh i dunno...

CONJURES PERFECT CHAOS, BEFORE CREATING A WHIRLPOOL OF WATER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SQUARE TO DROWN HIM???

Obviously he doesn't kill Sonic, just incapacitates him, but, like, Sonic's got a whole thing about water, why not take advantage of that?

Tails takes just a bit too long trying to figure out Infinite's deal before he creates the whirlpool, and Tails tosses his datapad aside and rushes in to try and save Sonic, only for Infinite to take him down almost instantly.

The story proceeds as normal for a bit after that, with Eggman taking over, Tails going AWOL, and a resistance being formed by Knuckles. Rather than being stationed in Green Hill Zone, however, the headquarters is on Angel Island, meaning only the people Knuckles trusts enough to be near the Master Emerald is allowed in the headquarters. They have other rebel camps stationed all over South Island, but they're small, and they can quickly be overpowered by Eggman's forces.

Meanwhile, Starburst and Sun's parents get killed in the initial attack on Seaside Hill, and they get seperated in the chaos. Starburst finds her older brother buried under a pile of rubble, but Infinite gets to her before she can reach him, taunting her and letting her escape with her life if she leaves her brother to die and flees in terror.

Later, Starburst gets rescued by Amy, and decides to join the resistance.

Meanwhile, Tails has gone a bit off the deep end, and seeks out an old model of Metal Sonic that was destroyed in a battle years prior, and brings it back to his makeshift lab to rebuild and reprogram it. He affixes the fake Chaos Emerald he made back in SA2 to him, using it as a power source, and sets out to train him to be essentially Sonic's replacement. (This guy later becomes Shard.)

Sun actually survived being crushed by a building, and gets fished out by two girls, Flare the Bear and Echo the Fox. They end up getting along like a house on fire, and they agree to help Sun search for his missing sister.

The rebellion discovers that Sonic is alive, and after they launch a rescue mission, Starburst is the one that ends up finding him (This plays out pretty much exactly like the game).

They come back to the base below Angel Island, and take Sonic to the infirmary, only to discover that there's barely any room left. Amy decides that they need to liberate an actual hospital, and fast. Much to Sonic's disappontment, she sends Shadow and Starburst on the mission, as Sonic is still too injured. While Shadow is initially unimpressed and uninterested in working with Starburst, during the mission he warms up to her a little.

Meanwhile, the Metal Sonic that was repaired by Tails has been feeling uncomfortable, both with Tails' insistance at him being essentially a Sonic replacement, and Tails' obvious fear and discomfort towards him. He ends up running away, and though he still defends and protects the people he comes across, they aren't exactly appreciative. He still looks like Metal SOnic, and people are terrified of him, until he encounters one girl.

Aryl's a mechanic and an outcast, with a pet Buzz Bomber that she reprogrammed herself, and she offers to help repair his battle damage. He agrees, and they end up having a mutually beneficial friendship, where he protects her as she scavenges for parts and she repairs any damage he gets as he fights off other badniks.

A lot from this point is similar to the game, with some exceptions, like Shard being the one to fight the Metal Sonic illusion with Sonic on the bridge rather than the rookie, and the Null Space scene being a LOT longer and more impactful on the story, but im starting to get a headache and cant type for much longer so have some art instead

THERES ALSO A WHOLE THING WITH SEEDRIANS and tails cosmo and omega make up a team for a little while and omega goes I HAVE ONLY HAD TAILS AND COSMO FOR A DAY AND A HALF BUT IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO THEM I WOULD KILL EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM AND THEN SELF DESTRUCT.

and oh man i didnt even mention the time traveling twin children of infinite from an alternate future where he took over and crowned himself king thats THESE GUYS

ok so i Started saying this in that other post but the Thing About keane is that he doesnt come off as being That Bad through the most of the movie. obviously hes not a good person; the fact that he works for merrick and that hes ex special forces alone is sus as fuck (like buddy, why arent you still in special forces?)

but in comparison to dr kozak (sadist) and merrick (also a sadist) keane doesnt seem that bad. he spends most of the movie standing around in douchebag suits and being intimidating. there are only like five scenes where we see him touch other people, ‘cause all he really does is order his goons around, and Usually when we Do see him touch people, he’s more or less Your Usual Brand of Asshole about it

and in all of those, excluding the the joenicky fight scene (and the joe fight scene which i just said doesnt count) keane’s.... eh? hes not nice but he could be way meaner.

The Joe Grab: obviously not Good Boy behavior, obviously aggressive, but he doesnt hurt joe here. hes not even cutting off joe’s air, he’s just grabbing him.

i mean. in reaction to the headbutt, keane threatens joe without harming him, the goon behind joe pistol whips him, and merrick stabs him. of the three reactions we get, keane’s is the most mild. look, his finger isnt even on the trigger

andy & book; again not good boy behavior, but again he could have been way worse. when he sedates andy she struggles like fuck, and you can even see keane kind of stumble as he tries to hold her down. even so, he doesnt hit her to get her to stop, a thing his goons do fairly regularly to the others, and even when he grips her neck to hold her still, he’s holding her jaw more than her neck (look at his thumb). in the aftermath, she doesnt even have any marks. (this coming from the movie that gave merrick a red spot on his forehead for like a whole minute after joe headbutted him. lmao suck it merrick)

and when he goes for book, more of the same. he just kind of... holds him in place, despite his struggling. its professional . hes just a dude doing his job. Keane The Professional.

when he knocks out copley right after thats the only other time we see him personally harm someone, and even then that was with a specific order from merrick (you see him give keane A Look) and theres nothing sadistic there either. he hit copley, copley was out(TM), the end.

None Of This Gives Any Indication Of Keane Enjoying Causing Pain

AMND THEN: THE JOENICKY FIGHT

and Many People have discussed this fight so i wont go off too hard but. this fight. it lasts roughly thirty seconds. Thirty. and of those thirty seconds, keane spends about... eh, seventeen focused on nicky? (the kicking, the gun, etc) on joe? he spends about three. as in seconds. the other ten seconds is mostly keane getting beat on or standing ominously above the two of them.

and of the few analyses ive seen, people point out keane being homophobic as his motivation here (and he definitely is) but homophobia alone doesnt explain why keane WENT OFF on nicky specifically.

because like! the beginning of this fight! keane sends all of his goons after nile booker and andy! SIX men to fight THREE immortals, leaving KEANE ALONE to fight the other two! and then he walks into the room joe and nicky are in, sees them both lying there,

ADN HE PUTS AWAY HIS GUN

like! he already won the fight right then and there! nicky and joe were on the floor! a bullet to the head to both of them to keep them down and keane would have had them both, but no, keane puts his gun away, grabs his zipties,

AMDN then he goes straight for fucnening nicky

it would make Sense if hed gone for joe. he and joe have established beef. the headbutt. the speech in the van (which im sure keane heard at some point since those guards had bodycams and im sure keane wanted to know how he and nicky managed to kill his men and looked at the footage) --and theres the killing of the men itself, but both joe and nicky did that together. so.

either way, joe has been challenging the authority of keane and his men since he had the breath to do so. nicky’s barely glanced in keane’s direction (beyond the killing the men thing, which weve established both he and joe did)

other than that, worst thing nicky’s done to keane is nearly bump into him while he was busy making Disappointed Eye Contact with copley

but anyways: keane doesnt go for joe! he walks past joe’s body and goes for nicky, who’s just barely begun to move. it would also make sense, at this point, to put a bullet in nicky’s head here. like i said, keane’s already won. Keane The Professional wouldve already killed him.

instead, keane kicks nicky in the head, stands there and watches nicky get up, then kicks him a second time, and watches him again. he goes to do it a third time before nicky gets the drop on him.

at no point prior to this in the movie do we see keane behave like this. he doesnt cause pain for the sake of causing it. he doesnt hurt people pointlessly. here, he does. theres no reason to be kicking nicky like this. its not accomplishing anything, it’s not helping him capture them. hes just doing it ‘cause he wants to. (not to mention, each time you see him go to kick nicky, he goes to kick harder)

and actually, doing this is actively stupid! joe is waking up a foot away. there are three other immortals on the loose. merrick is unaccounted for. and keane is just wasting time. by dicking around rn, he’s actively shooting himself in the foot.

but anyways, nicky punches keane, keane kicks him off, and then joe’s awake, and This is the detail i just noticed a little earlier-- but when keane gets up here and joe grabs him: his head is turned towards nicky. his eyes are turned towards nicky. he’s moving towards nicky, not joe, who is the active threat in the moment

he doesnt even acknowledge joe until joe’s hand is physically on his head. joe had to physically Hold the dude back from going after nicky again

and then we see keane’s behavior change again when he sets his sights on joe. Keane The Professional is back again- two rapid-fire punches aimed at joe, no nonsense, no drawing it out, and then he goes for his gun

he doesnt draw it out. he doesnt sit and watch joe suffer. that gif is in real time, thats how fast keane took joe out. two punches, shoulder, neck, and then an immediate escalation to lethal force.

like the difference between: keane putting his gun away and then keeping it away for fifteenish seconds while focusing on nicky

when focusing on joe, it takes him.. about two seconds & some change to pull the gun out again

keane wanted joe dead, but he wanted nicky to fucking suffer

and the you know, theres the obvious gun in mouth thing, which other people have talked about. the only thing i have to say about That is that its another fucking example of keane shooting himself in the foot. hes in a room filled with gas w/ no gas mask, and theres a very pissed off joe like two feet away from him recovering by the second. however, he doesnt do the Keane The Professional thing and put a bullet in nicky’s forehead-- he deliberately leans down, grabs nicky’s hair (and its not like he needed to, nicky sure as hell wasnt going anywhere anyway, unable to breathe and probably still sitting on a concussion after being kicked in the head) and jams the gun in nickys mouth. he’s wasting time doing that. it would have been faster and easier to just shoot nicky in the head. (like he probably was about to do to joe, considering how he doesnt step any closer to joe as he pulls out the gun)

and then he just??? bounces??

he is, again, in a position where he’d practically won. he had nicky dead. joe was on the ground. he could have gone for his mask, or shot joe and then fucked off to get a breath of Good Air. gun is still in his hand. he doesnt even try to take out joe, not even just shooting over his shoulder as he left. he doesnt give a shit about joe once nicky’s dead.

nicky was dead, so keane just left. and he double takes at the body as he goes??

like at first i thought he was confused nicky wasnt getting up, but he knows how the immortals work, he saw joe and nicky die on the body cams at the church. like sir why are fucking looking? fuck off?

but yeah theres just no explanation for this! nicky has done practically nothing to keane, but keane just zeroed tf in on nicky with no provocation! it couldnt have been just homophobia, if it were he would have targeted joe the same way he did nicky. he had to have some other motivation for acting completely differently @ nicky than he does to any other character in the film, and then just. going back to normal once nicky was dead. its weird. its creepy. and theres like 0 explanation. dont like it

ahh i keep forgetting about this page!! failed today bc my family wanted to get fast food and i just.. idk fell into it. i don’t have an excuse. ate 1587cal which scares the shit out of me but hey, it’s still in a deficit so even though it’ll make me lose a LOT slower im still losing and that’s all that matters. i’ve learned that being super harsh on myself just doesn’t work after a while so im now trying the approach of being like a patient mom with a bratty child. i keep misbehaving and doing things i know damn well i shouldn’t but my patient mom self is just standing there gently correcting me and encouraging me to persevere. i think it’ll work honestly, the few times i’ve relapsed after “recovering” i’ve always given up by this point, but rn i still feel just as motivated. even though so far it’s been hit or miss, i know im losing, and honestly at this point im willing to wait longer. i think eventually i’ll be able to get ahold of myself and stay under 800cal a day and lose faster so im not worried. if i had adopted this strategy instead of hopelessly bingeing and hating myself for failing which only led to more binges i would be 115lbs by now, easy.

anyway i wanted to rant bc i can’t do it on my instagram where i normally would bc yk people do not know about my ed so im doing it here yay!!! i am just feeling so resentful and jealous tonight idk. i was just laying in bed thinking about my body, feeling it, hating it yk as per usual, and then i open tiktok and see this skinny mf who is like my body goals ed-wise and gender-wise just dancing around in a doorway and of course all the comments are just worshipping them, and it just made me so upset. im always upset about this. it’s like people can consider fat people beautiful only under certain strict conditions, and even then there’s still a TON of people saying they’re ugly. but skinny people? shit, you can look like anything and people will just effortlessly find you attractive if you’re skinny. it’s the default. it’s neutral. it’s just automatically attractive. and that’s such bullshit and it makes me so mad. why don’t I have that? GOD

and like the other day i thought something to myself that’s really been resonating w me & i keep thinking about it despite literally starving myself rn, & it’s “my body will look like what it’s meant to look like.” bc yes i lost a ton of weight while i was starving myself and then gained even more back once i stopped. i had gotten to the point where i was just eating whatever i wanted to without caring. it tasted good. i enjoyed it. so i ate it. and that was so fucking great, but it resulted in me gaining like 20lbs. and i kind of had this thought that like, hey, when i let myself be free and eat what i want, this body is the result. maybe this is what im meant to look like. i just wish i could fucking accept that, you know? and i wish it were the ideology everyone adopted. not skinny = attractive, not everyone should strive to be thin, but everyone’s body is unique and beautiful and everyone’s body looks like what it’s meant to look like. i mean, imagine being unlimited in your food choices and it’s just completely okay? whatever you want to eat and whatever body results from that is okay? not even necessarily super attractive, just okay. man.

i’ve also noticed im chubby enough now that my hip bones don’t poke into the mattress. this is a plus bc i can lay on my stomach, v comfortable, but also a minus because im anorexic and oh my fucking god it used to hurt to lay like this bc my hips were so sharp and now it doesn’t and i need to lose this weight right now. so i am conflicted.

I hate ~traditional~ abo with a passion. Just reading the summaries of those kind of fics gives me anxiety like woah. it’s Gross, dude. Once accidentally read a fic where male omega were ~biologically predisposed~ to getting sexual pleasure from being told the price point they were sold for during sex with their alpha/owner and like?????? No. Gross and Bad. Can other people read and write it? Sure. Whatever. But keep it far away from me, pls. Thank you exclusion options on Ao3, you’ve saved my life.

Anyway, not this is any “better” since i’m still just writing weird smutty abo fanfic on the internet, but this is my preference, and, if it is yours also, click here to read Maman.

There’s actually only a few points to it: (1) Ghouls have abo, humans do not. (2) Ghoul’s physical bodies are mutable. (3) Transphobia does not exist in my world. (4) Horny stuff.

(1) I adore the clear division between the human and ghoul worlds in TG: the human side of the equation is basically reality - patriarchal, few women as investigators in a male dominated position, the usual. Then on the other side, there’s really only the one male ghoul ever shown as a leader - the guy Rize kills, and also kind of Banjo? Kaneki is prophesied, so it’s different - and the strongest ghoul and strongest kakuja are women. Survival is praised above all else, and that’s about it, actually.

So I wanted to work within that by deepening the divide further. If canon will weakly imply that ghouls go against human standards of gender roles, then I will catapult that concept to the top floor. They don’t have human gender standards, period. TL;DR Omega ghoul are the strongest, and therefore the most socially powerful, and a large spectrum of gender and sex exists that ghouls can id with and move through fairly easily. It’s more fun this way.

It only happens once a year, regardless of power level. Culturally, a ghoul is considered to be in heat from day 1 of the preheat phase, not just when the actual event happens.

Ghouls mature faster than humans because of their low survival rates, but I’m not a pedo so heat only becomes possible once a ghoul crosses the threshhold of physical maturity - which is about 25 in humans, so maybe 21-26 depending on the individual. And then later in adulthood if that ghoul arrived at a dynamic that experiences heat later on in life.
