Sorry but Kabru is so fascinating to me as a character, in a pure mechanical sense, because of what Ryoko Kui does with him. Everything about him is a red herring. He's deliberately introduced as some kind of rival for Laios, a party leader who is hopeless against monsters but absolutely brilliant with people both in and out of combat, and who has good reason to oppose him.

By the end of chapter 31, you might even think Kabru's going to end up as some sort of anti-villain, an antagonist with the best of intentions who nevertheless tries to foil our hero's plans. He wants to defeat the Mad Mage himself, he suspects Laios of being too irresponsible to be trusted with control of the dungeon, and his crew even thinks that Laios's party stole from them (and they're kind of right!). All signs point towards an inevitable showdown.

And then ... none of that happens.

Confrontation over the stolen treasure? Kabru is literally too smart to fall for the classic miscommunication trope and correctly decides it's not worth making a big deal of.

Kabru's deadly PVP skills? Aside from trying to take down Falin, he never fights another human again.

Wanting to be the one who defeats the dungeon? Turns out he was only doing that because he didn't think any other adventurer would have people's best interests at heart, and he's more than willing to play a support role in the whole affair.

Thinking Laios is up to no good? He really did just want to get to know the guy more. He has his misgivings, but ultimately ends up trusting Laios with his life.

Is Kabru going to get some sort of comeuppance for hating monsters and not appreciating their ecosystem? Well no, he has good reasons for hating monsters. He ends up wanting to learn about them through Laios's eyes, but he's never forced into any "Wow, guess I was wrong about them!" revelation.

Hell, even his implied ladykiller ways, which might lead you to think he'll end up being the stock "chivalrous lech" type of character, don't really manifest. He has a lot of opportunities to act flirtatiously around women, but doesn't. He's just a guy whose natural charisma makes him into human catnip.

And that's all hysterical to me, to pull it off. It's a fascinating way to tell a story. To introduce a character explicitly as a rival, potentially even a villain, and instead make them a deuteragonist. It's like a magician making a coin disappear, then slowing down their trick to show you the misdirection. "Did you see what I did there?" they ask with a wink. "The coin was in my other hand the entire time."

Xavier also tends not to get very riled up. For whatever reason the two of you just couldn't agree, things escalating far past their normal threshold. Xavier tends not to be very physical when it comes to conversations but when he flicks his wrists in frustration, almost as though reaching for you you can't help but yelp and back yourself up against a wall, apologising desperately.

He has no idea where this came from, the confusion and sadness at your reaction stopping any sign of anger that he might have had. He offers his hand to you, wanting you to take it but also knowing he can't force you to take it. He's glad when you do, even if it took you a second, reassuring you that he's not mad at you, just at the situation. He wants you to trust him and you should know he'd never do anything to hurt you on purpose.

It takes a while but he'll also ask if you feel comfortable telling him what happened to make you react that way. The two of you talk about the situation and what to do in the future. He tells you that he'd never hurt you, ever and that you can trust him. All he wants is to keep you safe and protect you, he swears.

Rafayel is always very animated when he speaks and unfortunately this does end up being intimidating sometimes. You can't help the way you flinch when he steps towards you, his intention to be to try and get closer to you but the look on his face terrifies you. You immediately flinch, unable to look at him as he realises what's happened to you.

He's immediately on his knees in front of you, trying to get you to tell him what's wrong. The quiet feels awkward after all the yelling, but Rafayel is somehow always incredibly patient whenever it comes to you. He waits for you to tell him what's wrong and reassures you that he's here for you, not the other way around.

You've never seen him this hurt before, the slight drop in his brows and lips makes it obvious how he's feeling, coming to him and apologising for your response.

He takes it well thankfully, telling you that you really didn't need to worry about him. He wants you to focus on doing what you think is right for you, never holding it against you. You have to convince him that you're okay with him and you trust him, choosing to confide in him why you reacted so strongly. But of course you get your revenge by doing the same thing, and that's what he really liked about you, you got spunk just like him. You tolerate him, not letting his words and teasing get to you,and instead you snarl back at him.

Because of this, his thoughts are always about you. Not a single day he had not thought about you, of course this mf thinks about you alot. He wouldn't forget the person that had talked back at him when he insulted them,suprising him. He won't forget the person who got the same attitude as him, the same spunk as he does, the same- Ugh!! He's thinking about you again.

And sometimes he would always ask himself, Do you think about him just like how he thinks of you? Are your thoughts also filled with him? Those questions will never get answered unless he confronts you but not right now, he still wants to lay in bed at the middle of the night, his mind just thoughts and thoughts about you.

Why are you ignoring him like this? If you have a problem, it's your responsibility to communicate it to him, is it not?

He's in a terrible mood the entire time. Why is his partner ignoring him like this? What has he done?

After finding out it's a prank, he'll end up inadvertently turning the tables. Not that he's ignoring you on purpose, he's just peeved, and he really doesn't want to see you right now.

Leona Kingscholar

He's mostly just annoyed with you, because this is obviously a poorly-planned prank. What exactly are you pulling on him?

Calls you out as quick as he can, and makes sure to inform you exactly how highly he thinks of that little thing.

He'll be a bit more grouchy, and yet, on the flip side, more clingy. Give the man his cuddles, please.

Azul Ashengrotto

Immediately gets to investigation. Why are you ignoring him? What exactly has he done? Or is it something pertaining to your mental health?

And pretty quickly, he finds you talking about your little prank. He's annoyed, but remains cordial as he confronts you.

He's definitely going to hold a grudge over this. If this is early on in your relationship, he'll really lay on the cold gentleman act.

If this is later on, though, and he knows he can trust you most of the time, he'll go the opposite direction with his reaction, and get real clingy. It's pretty cute, actually.

Kalim Al-Asim

Is just genuinely sad. Why would you do this to him?

He's really worried that he's accidentally acted careless and hurt you, since he's been told he does that. He does whatever he can to find out what he did wrong.

You're the one to end the thing with a profuse apology, and an odd sense of appreciation at having such a caring partner.

Willing to forgive you easily so long as you promise him you won't do this again.

Vil Schoenheit

Thinks you're immature and says that straight to your face. He doesn't realize it's a prank at first.

Then, he checks his magicam feed and sees a prank video of the sort, and it hits him.

Vil looks at you, unimpressed, and tells you those pranks are staged and that there's no point in emulating. You tell him you know.

The conversation quickly evolves into less of a talk about healthy communication and more commiseration over both of your feeds being spammed by content farms.

Idia Shroud

Immediately catches on.

Well, kinda. Ortho informs him immediately, to be specific. Thank Ortho for doing that, because he just saved Idia from a bunch of agonizing, and in turn, you from a massive grudge.

Idia's still huffy with you, asking why you'd do that, and don't you know he doesn't get this stuff, unlike the normies?

Afterwards, he's torn between wanting your reassurance and wanting to be mad at you. Help him out here, please.

Malleus Draconia

Deeply confused.

Has he done something wrong? Or is this some human ritual he was unaware of?

He asks Lilia, who proceeds to show him the magicam trend, with one little lamentation about how this little trend is half of his feed at this point, and he wants to stop it's spread.

Malleus understands now.

He tries to play along, he's just... Not very good at it.

"No, human, why are you ignoring me? I am incredibly confused because I do not know about the current trend, you see. This makes me worried and I will now proceed to say something that gets you those little 'likes'."

Said in the most deadpan voice ever.

Afterwards, Malleus gets into pranks. He keeps swapping cereals. He recently told Sebek ligma was a term of high respect, and it's all your fault.

Your comeuppance is Sebek calling you a ligma worthy of Malleus, it seems.

You’re Wounded: 

Makes a light joke, inspects the wound himself even if there’s a doctor present, will help bandage you up if you need it. Pretends to be nonchalant about the entire thing, is panicking inside. Fully realizes the depths of his affection for you, is terrified to realize it’s love.  

Brushing Your Teeth Together: 

Never washes the sink out after he spits toothpaste in it. Always manages to get toothpaste on the mirror, too. And though he doesn’t consistently steal your toothbrush the way Zoro does, he has no qualms about using yours. 

Flowers: 

He’ll bring you bouquets with a lot of variety that the nice lady at the flower shop helped him put together. He usually builds these bouquets around sunflowers or orange lilies, and he gets very smug when his flowers brighten your day. He’ll also pick flowers for you, but he’s very conscious to only pick the ones that are not weeds. If he finds a field of sunflowers, you will be getting as many as he can carry. Never, ever visits you empty-handed, always brings at least a bouquet of flowers with him. Treats securing flowers for you like hunting for dinner and is always so proud of his bounty. 

Type of Date: 

Ace will take you either go karting or rock climbing, probably the former. He won’t admit it to you, not even to himself, but he is the sort to let you win, though he pouts when he loses. Like he’ll plan to beat you, but he just can’t stop himself from taking his foot off the gas just before he reaches the finish line. After you’re tuckered out, he’ll take you to a ramen place, where you end up starting several inside jokes. Once you’ve been dating for a little while, he’ll take you on longer dates to parks and even camping on the beach; anything outdoors. 

You See His Cabin For The First Time: 

His cabin is pretty sparse because he tends to travel light. He has a collection of animal teeth secured from a menagerie of wild beasts he’s taken down over the years, and he’s very proud of those teeth. He'll tell you about each one if you ask, is practically bursting at the seems with stories. He has way more animal teeth than he does clothing or books. Also has a pretty sick tiger pelt for a rug (he had intended it as a blanket, but he runs so hot he can’t actually sleep with it). He has Luffy’s wanted poster on his wall, and beside it, a note reminding himself to send money back to Dadan on the first of every month. Buried in the chest at the foot of his bed, he has the original ASL flag. 

Fighting and Making Up: 

His low self worth causes a lot of fights between the two of you. Sometimes, it’s you getting mad because his self doubt led him to, in turn, doubt you without realizing it. Other times, it’s him getting angry because you were a little too nice to another man and triggered his fear of you leaving, causing him to lash out. No matter who was in the wrong, Ace is consumed by the desire to apologize right away but ends up getting wrapped up in the fear of you rejecting his apology; thus, he acts all tsundere instead. But as soon as you approach him, usually with a piece of candy in hand as a sort of white flag, he melts, dragging you into his arms and holding you extra tight, saying in your ear how much he missed you even if you were only ignoring each other for an hour. He also has a habit of leaving candy for you as his own way of making up, but he won’t actually confront you with it, will just leave it somewhere you’ll find it as a way of reaching out and hope you start the conversation, much like a cat leaving a dead lizard on your porch. You two usually end up splitting the candy and talking about whatever happened, but only after you've finished kissing it better.   

Paradise 1: 

Meandering through the woods in search of the tallest, most impressive tree, him giving you a boost up to the first branch to get you started before climbing up himself, staying behind you the entire time so he can catch you in case you fall. Finally piercing the canopy and poking your heads up above the forest, his hand on your leg to keep you steady, the two of you grinning as birds fly by, basking in the afternoon sun. 

Paradise 2: 

Sitting out on the deck of the ship long after everyone else has fallen asleep, climbing into their lap once the two of you are alone, both of you staring up at the sky and picking out constellations in the night sky. The conversation eventually shifting from actual constellations to the ones you two invent on the spot, with wild fables to go along with them. 

Nightmares: 

It starts off normal, him approaching you on deck and wrapping his arms around you, intending to say a joke in your ear that will have you giggling and him grinning proudly. But then you shove him off and sneer at him. He doesn’t recognize you, doesn’t recognize the look on your face as you look up at him. You look disgusted, completely and utterly grossed out by the mere idea of his arms around you. You begin taunting him, saying all the things he’s used to others saying but never you. “You’re a monster. You were never supposed to be born. How could I possibly love someone like you?” When he finally wakes up, he doesn’t thrash around or cry. He’s completely paralyzed by the nightmare, by the fear, and accustomed to the feeling of rejection, even if it hurts more coming from you. Even when he wakes up, the nightmare isn’t really over.  

I Love You: 

Your first, more implicit confession came one night before you two were ever in a relationship. You noticed he was a little off and saw him slip away from the crew as they were drinking the night away. You found him sulking by the water and sensed he was hurting, especially when you asked to say and he told you he’d rather be alone. Before you leave, you tell him, “I just wanted you to know that I’m happy you’re alive.” You had no idea that it would strike a nerve, just got the feeling he needed to hear it, and this was confirmed by him grabbing you by the wrist as you walk away and pulling you into his arms. You continue finding implicit ways to tell him you love him such as, “I think the world is a better place with you in it,” and, “I’m so glad you were born,” and Ace is never really sure how to respond, but he soaks your words up like they’re sunlight and he’s a plant. This culminates in him blurting those three words out one day when you’re sitting in a tree together, Ace avoiding your eyes for fear you’ll reject him. When you lean in and kiss his cheek, instead, he almost cries (and he does when he’s alone later on, your love the purest thing he’s ever known). 

You’re Jealous: 

He collects people without trying, and often times, without realizing, either. Ace thinks he’s just making friends, but you see the way the women he laughs and shares drinks with are drawn to him like plants to the sun. He promises them freedom and adventure (and he has a very nice laugh), and you can see how it excites them. You don’t really mind it, knowing Ace well enough to see the way he holds those women at arm’s length, even if he seems close with them (such is the magic of Fire First Ace). But Yamato makes you jealous. It’s not hearing the way they laughed together but hearing the way they fought that gets to you. You know how Ace lives to fight and even just roughhouse, you know how he’s a rough and tumble guy, and you worry you’re not tough enough. Should you be punching his arm when he makes a joke? Should you be trying to trip him out on deck? What should you be doing? When you finally come clean with Ace about what’s been bothering you, he actually laughs. “If I wanted to be with someone who gives me hell, I’d be sleeping in Marco’s cabin every night. Besides,” he says, scooping you up in his arms, “I like being able to manhandle you.”

Little ideas i don't know what to do with

1. Danny develops the power to turn people i to animals, which would be fine and dandy if he wasn't in the middle of Gotham with the hiccups.

People are turning into animals all around him as he hiccups and there's nothing he can do. He's confronted by a bat who wants to know whats going on and Danny, while frantically trying to explain that hes not some animal themed supervillian, hiccups again turning the vigilante into an animal.

Danny just stares at the little animal hero and sighs before grabbing a box and gathers up all the animalized people. Danny keeps getting confronted by bats and accidentally turning them into animals cause they won't let him speak

The only person this doesn't work on is Red Hood due to the pit water inside him making him resistant to Dannys powers. Unfortunately it does partially work, making Red hood half part animal of your choice (think catboy)

Red hood is now extra extra angry and Danny is noting out whenever he spots him, which doesn't help with the bats assuming he's a new rogue

2. Danny moves to Gotham and learns that he can hear the com lines the bats use. He keeps quiet about it both because he doesn't want the bats attention and because they're hilarious

3. One of the bats were down and a big bad was slowly approaching the bat. Danny, not knowing what to do, stole a tie off an unconscious dude and tied it around his head like a blindfold and used his intangibility to see. He knew backup would be here soon so he just needed to distract the big bad until they get here.

How? The eggs from his grocery bag should do nicely.

4. Danny keeps kidnapping Freshly crime lorded Jason. Why? Jason is dad shaped. Red Hood shook with laughter the first time he heard this and now Danny kidnaps Red Hood whenever he needs an adult or a fake dad.

Not Jason Todd, no. Full on Red Hood. Those poor social workers looked like they were gonna have a heart attack. If Jason isn't in his gear Danny will weight patiently for him to put it on.

5. Danny is cursed into being a crow. After several failed attempts to communicate with the bats he gets mad and just builds a nest on the bat computer. No amount of removing or destroying the nest with make him stop and he'll just build another one.

friends to something ambiguous guys! friends to something ambiguous and a little heartwrenching! i love friends to will-they-won't-they! anyway sorry if this is kinda odd?? ivebeen in sick and fever dreamy the past couple of days I've worked on this

there's a new man on your squad. the upper brass transferred him from a different squad, citing an influx of inappropriate anger toward certain people.

and the moment he shows up, nikto doesn't like him. there's something about his dark, leering eyes that makes even his skin crawl. but what seals the deal for him is that he immediately goes to talk to you.

he's all over you, every day. he'll squeeze between you and nikto with his trey in the mess hall, pushing nikto out. the man visits you before lights out, stripping you of the little time you have to relax. but worst of all, you don't seem to mind.

nikto knows that this man isn't good news, but he can't point fingers without a good reason. that'd only alienate you further. he stays up for days, digging and digging, only to come out completely empty-handed. god, he must be good at covering up his tracks… or, maybe he just doesn't have anything wrong with him.

this whole ordeal pisses him off. he can't stop thinking about your cheeks warming when you talk to your new friend, and of you dolling yourself up before you see him. oh, nikto just wants to claw his own eyes out!

maybe nikto is just jealous… ah, no. he couldn't be. he doesn't get jealous.

two weeks into your newfound friendship, it dawns on you that nikto isn't hanging around as often as he used to. it's only ever the new guy and you, and if you manage to catch nikto around base, he's brooding and disinterested. you tire of this. you miss your friend-- you miss nikto. what happened to cleaning rifles together and dozing off in eachothers' quarters? you won't stand for this any longer.

it's late at night when you confront him. your spare key still fits into his lock, and you still have to lift the door to open it. he's sitting straight up in bed with wild eyes watching you. he never looks at you like that. nikto always knows when it's you, doesn't he?

you shut the door behind you with a soft click, taking care not to stir anybody nearby. your footfalls are light against the cold, hard floor, and they stop once they reach the side of his bed. he hasn't reached for a firearm or blade of any sort. maybe he isn't as mad as you believed.

you move to sit on the edge of the mattress. what should you say? you had a faint outline for what you planned on confronting him about, but the moment you walked in and saw those wide eyes of his, none of it seemed all that important.

your head turns to look at him. his face is hardly visible under the cover of the dark, but every little shuddering breath gets his point across. he's upset, deeply so, but he can't just say that. he can't just… talk to you. it's never that easy, not for him.

but, you've come to understand him; you know when nikto is upset. and this time, you know why he's upset too.

"…i'm sorry. you need a friend, don't you? i haven't been one," you whisper.

you want to hold him tight and tell him just how sorry you are, but he'd never let you hear the end of it if you did. you know by now that he doesn't like being touched very often.

something brushes against your fingers. they curl as a twitch rolls through your knuckles, but it persists.

it's his hand, his fingers. his scuffed palm moves to lay over the back of your hand, and his nails lightly itch your wrist.

maybe this is still salvageable. jealousy may not be the end of this.

But that all changed when one of the girls at Toph's Metal Bending Academy tried hitting you up

He likes to give them the benefit of the doubt and thinks maybe they don't know you're both dating

"Hey Babe! Come look at this sculpture Toph made!" [He'll call you nonchantly, hoping they'll get the hint]

But when the other person also walks over, still flirting with you, that's when he gets angry

He'd want to confront them, but honestly he's to nice for that

He might ask Katara for help

Katara will tell you how Aang feels

You'll confront Aang, but he'll pretend he doesn't know what you're talking about

"You know, you can tell me, Aang. You trust me, right?"

He'll sigh and admit and you'll comfort him, even confiding in him that sometimes you get jealous when people hit on him

She's very confident, so she's not worried about this person at all

Though, she is annoyed, because who did that person think they were?

She will probably call your attention to her and do something to impress you, so you focus on her

It's a huge win for her

There is a slight part of her that is insecure because she sees you as incredible and she knows other people see it too

What if you end up leaving her? It really bothers her

So she's always doing crazy stuff to impress you so you never leave

Probably the easiest to anger and get jealous

He has no control over his emotions what so ever

He WILL start a fight with the guy hitting on you

He does NOT care who they are or what was say, he's going to put them in their place

But before he does that, he'll express to you that he's upset, but you think it's nothing

He tries to win your affection by beating that guy up

You're just annoyed because you think he overreacted. He says he didn't [He did]

Will gaslight you, saying it's your fault

"Why were you even talking to him!?"

He's so angry and he'll break the closest thing to him

He wants to control his anger, but you really bring out this side of him. He makes sure you know it too, because he tells you

So, when he's done throwing this temper tantrum, you both leave the party; Mad af

You're mad that the party and good vibe was ruined and he's mad that you're mad, because he was just trying to get that dude away from you

Toph Beifong

She can feel the other person's heart beat pick up as they continue to hit on you

She's annoyed, but doesn't know how to express it healthily

She might use her bending to push that person away from you

She'll give them a show, so that they can have something to talk about

Might even crush them

The thought makes her smirk

She'll send little earthquakes to the person

Treated thems like a ball and and bounces them with the earth, without making it obvious

She'll forget about it when you come over to her and talk to her

Ty Lee

She's the least likely to get jealous because she's also a player

Though she does get upset when seeing that you're uncomfortable

She'll glare and excuse herself from whatever conversation she's in, even if it's with Azula, and walks over to where you are

Her tactic is to come in hot, just like the person flirting with you

She'll aggressively flirt with them to try and make them uncomfortable

But if that doesn't work, she'll be very direct and say that you're together and that they need to stop

They'll think it's a joke but Ty Lee is dead serious

She's willing to fight them if it comes to that

She might also grab your hand and drag you away, if you ask her not to make a scene

She'll keep an eye on you for the rest of the night

Korra gets extremely jealous

If someone even LOOKS at you in a way she doesn't like, she'll get angry

She's possessive over the things that are hers

Anyone approaches her and they are pushed into the wall

She's pissed and can't control her bending

She'll apologize to the person she hurt, but she doesn't really mean it. She's still focused on you

You're HERs, so why are they talking to you

Everyone knows you belong to the Avatar, so why even try?

She'll glare and crush whatever is in her hand

She'll fantasize about all the ways she would kill the person flirting with you

She wants for it not to bother her, but it really does

She'll take a deep breath, before smiling, and approaching you

She'll try and join the conversation, but the person who was hitting on you cuts them off and pushes her out of the conversation

She gets pissed

How dare they do that to her

She wants to throw hands with them, but holds herself together

She'll grab your hand, capturing your attention

"Yeah?"

She then tells you she wants to go back home

She feels very strongly about you and doesn't know what to feel when seeing someone flirt with you so openly

She knows it's not your fault, but god does she hate watching it

Though with her outgoing nature, she'd walk up and join the conversation, switching it to what she wants

She's easy going, so she doesn't really exhibit jealousy, because she goes with the flow

Though if you look closely, you can see her eye twitch and her mouth frown ever so lightly

She's quite passive aggressive and can be quite mean with her words

Could I get Diluc, Kaeya, Lyney, and Heizou (all separate) dealing with a s/o who wakes up mad at them the whole day because of something bad they did in a dream? Nothing horribly angsty, just kinda ridiculous at worst.

Diluc genuinely gets confused with you confront him with his "wrongdoing", actually concerned that he did hurt your feelings somehow. He spends the whole day fretting, trying to ask you what's wrong. You'll have to tell him the truth sooner rather than later with how nervous he is and when you tell him he huffs a little - something you've never seen him do. He tells you not to scare him like that and that he was genuinely worried that you were going to break up with him because of something he did. He's not actually angry, just a little irritated and tells you he can't be held responsible for what he does in your dreams. He will still comfort you and tease you slightly about it for the next few days.

Kaeya is also very concerned, making a mental catalogue of the things he's done recently to try and figure out where he went wrong. He isn't as obvious as Diluc but he tries to shower you in gifts, bringing home some of your favourite treats as he apologises for whatever he did to you. You end up pouting and telling him that you had a dream and that's why you're upset. At that he rolls his eyes, telling you that if that's all it is then he's very sorry for hurting your feelings and presses a kiss to your hand. He absolutely will not let you live it down though and teases you constantly about it. Pray he doesn't have a dream about you doing something like that to him because he will absolutely milk it because of how terrified you made him.

Lyney treads carefully, not directly asking you what's wrong but pampering you a little more because he has no idea what he's done to earn your ire. You feel bad taking advantage of him, coming clean and telling him that it's really nothing, you just had a dream about him doing something. He tells you that he'd never hurt you and that it's just a dream. He definitely calms down after that and comforts you a little about it, telling you not to scare him like that again.

Heizou pulls it out of you immediately, telling you that he can't fix the problem if he doesn't know what it is. When you tell him what happened he tells you that you don't need to worry because it was just a weird dream and that there's no way he'd ever do something like that to you. He adores you and wants you to be happy and if you ever feel like he's hurting you you can tell him and he'll do whatever he can to fix it.

The Aftermath

Summary: The Blue Lock boys don't take the news of you officially dating Nagi very well. Featuring Isagi, Bachira, Kunigami and Reo

"[Name]'s dating Nagi?" Isagi nearly dropped his bottle in shock when Bachira relayed the news to him. Since when did that lazy ass sink his teeth into you? 'Was he too careless?' Isagi wondered. He thought this whole time Nagi wouldn't be as big of a threat as the more aggressive students in this academy. Plus, he was so certain he was making good progress in worming his way into your life! Hell, your mother adored him!

"I saw them with my own two eyes. They were all lovey dovey and Nagi refused to let go of them. They even gave him a kiss before class... willingly. Such a joke, huh?" Bachira chuckled, twirling a pen in his hand. Isagi instinctively recognised it as the one you had lost the other week.

"You're not mad?" Isagi asked. Bachira hummed as his eyes remained focussed on the pen, flipping it up and as he catches it in his palm, it snaps.

"Of course I am."

Kunigami's world felt like it was crashing down. He hadn't felt such despair since he enrolled in Ego Jinpachi's Special Program. You. You. You were his light while he was stuck in that hell and when he came out, hoping to see you again, he was smacked in the face with the sight of Nagi's lips on yours.

He couldn't help but stare at the scene unfolding in front of him. He had heard the rumours that were floating around, but to have it confirmed? Kunigami felt sick. Eventually, he managed to pick himself up, but not before looking once more, only to meet Nagi's piercing gaze.

When Kunigami left the area, that despair he felt in him boiled and fizzled, until it transformed into a burning rage.

How dare he? How dare that shithead claim your body for himself, when it should have been him?!

Perhaps those special lessons were worth the pain after all. With his new physique and new abilities, Kunigami was going to get you back. He'll make sure of that.

It had been a week since Nagi and you became an official couple. Initially you wanted to hide that fact in fear of what the others would say, or do. But Nagi seemed to have no regard for their opinions whatsoever; forcing kisses down your throat any time he saw someone you recognised pass by. You could still feel the dread in your stomach when you saw Kunigami's familiar orange locks disappear in a flash.

Now however, you had another problem. It was about time though, for Reo to confront Nagi. And as you watched the scene unfold in front of you, you could only pray that no one got seriously hurt.

"Nagi. The hell is this?" Reo asked, his purple eyes boring straight into Nagi's skull.

Nagi stared blankly at Reo, one arm draped around your body, something that you had to grow accustomed to over the last couple of days since Nagi forced you to be his romantic partner. "You've got to be more specific on what 'this' is, Reo," he answered, his tone still the same bored one he always spoke with. You could see Reo's eye twitch.

"Why the hell is [Name] dating you?" Reo was barely keeping it together. When you glanced down, you could see how tightly he was clenching his fists. You wouldn't be surprised if it left a mark.

"'cause I asked them out, duh?" Nagi responded. In contrast to Reo's frazzled and antsy disposition, Nagi was exceedingly calm. If anything, he just seemed bothered, like Reo was asking a dumb question.

"That's not what I mean! I mean- how the hell did you get them to even like you enough to date you?" Reo sounded like he could barely even squeeze those words out without screaming.

Nagi glanced over to you and then back to Reo, then up at the ceiling as he tapped his free hand against his chin. "Good timing?"

Suddenly, you were released from Nagi's grip and all you heard was a thud and Nagi on the ground; Reo's arm was out, his hand in a fist and raw from the punch he just landed.

"Don't give me that shit, Nagi. We had a deal!" Reo's eyes were wide, his pupils dilated as he seethed with anger.

Nagi didn't even seem bothered as he picked himself up and dusted himself off. "And now we don't. I rather like having [Name] to myself, personally."

Nagi soon found himself yanked by his collar by Reo. "We. All. Do. Bastard." Reo snarled in Nagi's face. "I made that deal in the first place because I thought we were friends. Partners even!" Reo was yelling at this point. "If you're not going to keep the end of our agreement, I'm stealing [Name] from you."

For the first time since their argument started, you saw Nagi's expression change. With one hand, he yanked Reo back by his collar as well, his eyes wide and blank. "Then try it, I dare you, Mr. Standard." Once he said those words, he released Reo's collar and shoved him back, sending him stumbling for a moment.

Without even sparing a second glance, Nagi grabbed your wrist and began to walk off. "Let's go, [Nickname]. My mood's been ruined..."
