i don't even like video games so why have i been playing Red Dead 2 for the past eight hours gay

In ep 38, we found out that Nian Shilan's favourite play is "Niangzi Pass". Niangzi (娘子) means "Lady" and is a reference to the famous Princess Pingyang, the third daughter of the founding emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Li Yuan. During the uprising of the Li family against the preceding Sui Dynasty, Princess Pingyang was personally credited with raising an army of 70000 which she led during the capture of Chang'an at her father's side. "Niangzi's Pass", was the name given to the location Princess Pingyang garrisoned with her army - called "Lady's Army" (娘子军). When she died, she was given the rare honour of a military funeral to pay tribute to her accomplishments. Considering Shilan's background as the sister of a distinguished military official and her temperament, it makes perfect sense she would admire and idolize Princess Pingyang.

Yesterday I've been doing some proper physical exercise for the first time since last year and I'm just imagining how proud my f/os would be of me🥹
#it was just a 20 minute beginners home workout and I can feel every muscle in my body now but I think they'd be so happy I pushed through!#I've had particularly Heinz and Maximilian on my mind I think they would be sooo happy that I'm trying to take better care of myself💖#Heinz because he's always there anyway of course but I kind of imagine Max is probably overall the fittest out of my f/os#he seems like the kind of guy who'd want to be an example for his soldiers and always hold himself to the same standards as them#he'd be so supportive and cheer me on and be proud of me every time I get myself to do something😭💖💖#I've never particularly enjoyed doing sports (aside horse riding but in the past year I didn't have time anymore for that bc of uni😭😭)#so I didn't really do anything anymore after I finished school#I started doing simple home workouts last year but in winter my mental health went a little📉 and then I had no motivation to keep going#dunno how long I'll go through with it this time but better than nothing I guess#again with the home workouts lmao bc driving to the nearest gym ain't worth the time for me and I'd need some basic fitness first anyway#I'm doing it mainly for health reasons but this time I'm also motivated to actually get a bit stronger#I don't mind looking like a stick figure and I'm overall content with my body (maybe it could help me to look a bit more masc tho?👀👀)#but I know especially for my posture and such it would be good if my muscles were just a tad bit more developed#my mum was proud of me too when I told her about it hehe :) she works in healthcare she's always a little concerned#she's just a little worried about me getting health issues when I'm older that could be avoided by taking proper care of my body now#I get where she's coming from but it's not easy but at least I'm motivated to try again now :)#selnia talks

I am rewatching bridgerton s3 again before part 2 drops and am hoping beyond hoping that Hyacinth will turn out to be bit of a tomboy when she gets her story

Family events (none of my family ranches)
Lessons/competition (I do not do these things)
Barn buddies (I am the only boarder at our elderly friends' ranch)
because being Alone All The Time kinda sucks but I have absolutely zero idea how to negate it because the English community is the actual worst and the Western community is an elite private club

Unfortunately X-rays of Molly’s back today showed she has significant kissing spines (which would explain the bucking and random outbursts when ridden) so she’s no longer a ridden prospect :(
#I say :( but I’m SO FUCKING SAD MAN#she’s SUCH a nice pony and I love her w all my heart#but realistically I can’t keep a paddock mate or have 3 horses fit in the paddocks#we don’t have the room for 3 big horses and I don’t feel comfortable rehoming her in case they ignore the KS and try ride her#and they get hurt or she gets passed around so much or ends up in a bad situation#so unfortunately I’m gonna end up putting her down :((((((((((((#if someone wants the body for dissection that’d be awesome but otherwise she’s going the DT route cos we have nowhere to bury her 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

i need fgo to acknowledge servants horses more
#achilles isn't enough i need to know how each servant is around their horse(s)#i think that duryodhana has two main steeds and would have a hard time controlling them for when he's being petulant#highest ranking older mare (12-16) + her offspring (4-8) the older one would have a stubborn and calm temperament who doesn't respect duryo#and her daughter would have the same kind of chill but would be more playful and curious. dur is talking with his brothers & she trots over#starts nuzzling and sniffing his clothes because she's bored. duryo keeps talking but starts petting her#i also think duryodhana has instinctively good balance and he's good at multitasking so showmanship-like riding comes to him easily#but he's shit at all horse maintenance. especially hoof care; he's convinced his girls are going to kick him and doesn't want to even try i#but he wants good care for his horses so he watches over the servants tending to them. bossy yet incompetent duryodhana 🥰#we know georgios is a good owner but i think he likes rein maintenance & spends a fair amount of time making sure bayards armor is spotless#lalter gives out snacks more easily than her counterpart (going after the wild hunt takes energy! llamrei is a good girl!)#percival is great with horses in general and he enjoys taking care of them and will help out any other knights if they're having trouble#ashvatthaman is (un)surprisingly really good with young stallions. he's not afraid of them at all and will scold them for their mean deeds#horse tries to eat his clothes or nibble his hair and he's like. oi stop that you bastard. and the horse listens (will eat his hair later)#prince of lanling is very thorough with horses getting enough feed and water and will make sure they're well rested#arjuna is like. the main character of a horse movie. he's emotionally sensitive with them & bonds with horses easily (who sense his worries#works really really hard to be good at riding and wants to leave no room for mistakes. really aware of his posture at all times#we had dogy event please give me hors event... horses cute and underrated<-most biased man talking
