I like to imagine that all my stuffed animals are just little JJK guys because I have yet to buy a JJK plushie, so currently the shark and dragon ones I'm cuddling ATM are named "Toji" (shark) and "Suguru" (Dragon)

I plan on buying a Geto plushie soon (or at least Kenjaku)

After Luz and Amity get together Eda has to sit Luz down and give her The Talk Luz wants to die

I was waiting for this you have no idea. Gonna give like a bit of a tw?? There’s no like minor nsfw stuff cause that’s nasty but this ask is gonna mention Themes here so Imma give a warning.

Eda would be the type of parent who’s just “I don’t,,,,I really don’t wanna,,,,,,,,but I must” it’s such a struggle for her. She decides to politely ignore it for a while but then she find Luz got like,,,,hickies. It’s just from a make out session bc Amity’s teef are SHARP but then Eda is literally the beach meme.

She has to sit the kid down on the couch and mentally steel herself because good lord,,,,help me. Luz is just as unhappy with this as her but Eda has to at least pretend This Is Fine. Listen,,,,,,Luz was 14 when she came to the Boiling Isles do you think she really got like,,,the Talk from her mom?? you fool. Obv she’s gotten like The Videos school makes you watch & maybe that one fanfiction she should’ve read the tags on but thats It. She’s 14 she’s probably had like 2 segments in school mentioning the same stuff over and over again but maybe that’s just my experience.

So Luz being, y’know, a kid who doesn’t wanna have this conversation, tries to brush it off like “I know,,,,I know how this Goes” n Eda is just “....no, no you don’t-” bc there is More To Know. Also schools only teach you how to b safe with hetero intimacy which is great bc that IS important to learn but they don’t,,,,teach about gay intimacy and how to be safe THAT way. There can still b problems you know. So Luz obviously has like 0 clue and she do admit this.

Eda dies internally because oh boy we starting from the top. It’s the typical stuff you know. Eda skims over the stuff she truly believes Luz knows and is basically just “so,,,,women am I right” and it’s,,,,,,,,a whole thing.  But you know it do get better. Eda had only really her dad & sister growing up & her dad kinda trash so he never really,,,talked to them about this? There was the basic like “hey don’t have sex because you will get pregnant and die” sort of thing but everything else was from school and that only did so much. She had to learn quite a bit on her own and it was,,,,not fun. So she of course is makin’ sure to tell Luz everything she wished she knew bc god this child doesn’t deserve more pain.

Lowkey I was thinking about someday writing this? I read The Talk & I’ve read some of the Lunar Eclipse AU and I was,,,tempted. Because it seems like it could be something interesting to look on?? And, you know, something Eda would obv have to do. I was hesitant because I guess I thought I would mess up??? Nsfw topics around minors is a very tricky and sensitive subject. I think the real thing is to just,,,,not write minors being involved with nsfw? Them discussing it in a reasonable mature setting I personally think is alright. Let’s be honest, teenagers are teenagers, not all are gonna wait till their 18. So it’s obv important to talk about this with them beforehand & to accept thats how they be. So long one of the party isn’t 18+ let em figure it out in a safe way, you know?? So am I like,,,,allowed to write about it being talked about?? Like the safe ways to protect themselves???? & to know abt things beforehand???
