He's actually pretty underinformed about this. He is fully supportive, but he's never met anyone (that he knows of) like this. He's going to do his research though, so he can be as supportive as possible!

Probably one of the few times he speaks up is if someone gets your pronouns/chosen name wrong. "Actually, they go by y/n"

If you need someone to go shopping with, Legoshi doesn't mind going with you. His fashion sense is lacking, but he tries his best

While he doesn’t understand, if you two are close, he’s going to put his own feelings aside and make sure you’re safe with whatever you’re doing. Doctors, binders will be found and paid for.

Yafya slips up on your pronouns, but excuses himself and corrects himself quickly.

Probably does a lot of research later one and becomes more accepting with time. Helping you may actually help him come to terms with himself

Gouhin

Immediately gives you any resources you may need.

If you need hormone injections he shows you how to do them properly. If you’re afraid to do them yourself, he does them (complains, but doesn’t mind that much)

He will recommend a psychologist, not because you’re trans, but because you may someone to talk to about how transiting is affecting you. Sometimes, it’s just nice to have someone to vent to that’s a neutral party.

Takes zero seconds to call you by your new pronouns or name

Lets you use his old clothing until you’re comfortable getting your own. Also gives you recommendations on shops that are safe and judgement free

A new name? Fine. Two seconds and he has it down.

Free is THRILLED! He immediately asks if you want a tattoo to celebrate your transition (he’s already got a few ideas)

Free gives you tips and tricks that he’s learned from his transition, and if /when you get top surgery, he will baby you. It’ll be one of the few times you’ll see him serious.

Probably has his doctor on speed dial, and helps you meet him and make an appointment

Will FIGHT ANYONE who gives you a hard time. I mean it. He can and will throw hands.

Dolph

You may have to explain it to Dolph.

“You’re going to change genders? Alright, what do you want me to do?”

He is very supportive, and helps you with anything you need (though he doesn’t understand a LOT of the terminology, he does his best)

He doesn’t know a lot about doctors, but he asks the others for help and soon you have the whole gang supporting you.

Hino uses your pronouns, and new name if you have one

You can just talk for hours about everything and he just listens

Miguel

This isn’t getting you out of working out. It WILL mean he changes your work outs to something that can help emphasize any muscles you’d like

Makes your food according to any nutritional recommendations you get

Probably is the one who goes to the doctor with you, and who helps with any injections or encouragements

Very good at complimenting you and building your confidence

Uses your pronouns without issue

Finds gyms that are safe for you to go into the correct locker room for you, or if you want to work out at home BOOM! New weight set.

Jinma

Doesn’t hesitate to use your pronouns and name

Looks up doctors and resources, types them up, and give you a binder with color coordinated references depending on what you’d be looking for

Takes meticulous notes on everything, and when you go to the doctor? He writes down the exchange.

Jinma helps you in whatever way he can. You have no better resource that your doctors and Jinma

The trope Last Minute Hookup shouldn’t be used for LGBTQ+ relationships.

AND DEFENDING MY LAST POST ABOUT THIS.

I DO NOT hate any of these pairings. A good many of them could have been handled differently by the creators, writers, and networks. But this isnt me hating the relationships or characters or shows. Just going off about how they shouldnt have been tacked on at the end of their respective series.

As of writing this all of these shows have ended their original runs. Except for Supernatural which is on its last few episodes. And Supergirl, which announced its coming to end with season 6.

LGBTQ characters and relationships aren’t as common in the media as straight-cis characters and relationships. Sure things are improving but a lot of networks and writers still don’t fully understand why representation is important why they can’t keep using the same throwaway tropes they’ve been using for the straight-cis relationships.

You could name any piece of media and find and name one character that isn’t LGBTQ+, but you can’t do this with LGBTQ+ characters. We haven’t gotten to the point where they are as common as non-LGBTQ characters.

I have a whole paper I wrote on why asexual representation is important to have in the media and the same logic applies to any part of the LGBTQ+ or anything that falls under minority.

Back to the topic on hand. The trope of “Last Minute Hookup.”

Its exactly what it sounds like. Characters get to together at the very end of the story. These characters could have a on and off again relationship, lots of ship teasing, the classic “Will They or Wont They?” trope. What makes it different for non-LGBT characters in relationships to do this, we know what these relationships look like. Not to say the that both Non and LGBT relationship cant have similar struggles, however members of the LGBTQ+ community know how hard it is to feel like your identity and self matters and is normal.

I know that the whole “will they, wont they” thing is done for drama and networks and showrunners think if they give the fans what they want that they’ll start losing viewers and they have nothing to look forward to. Which is true to some degree. But most of this comes from the writers not knowing how to fucking write relationships.

Let’s just focus on whats it like to be in a non-straight relationship.

Heres an example: you have an action series, with 2 male leads and halfway through the show, they get together. Cool. Now you have a Battle Couple.

By making LGBTQ relationships happen at the end of a series that’s already had plenty of other non-LGBTQ relationships happen before it, it makes it look like the people in charge don’t care for it or were afraid of backlash. But it’s the end of the series so its not like they can get the show cancelled or anything. (The only people who are going to lash out at LGBT couple or characters are homophobic people, we don’t want them around any way so just make stuff super gay, so they’ll leave)

This is especially a problem when the writer and network have spent the whole series queerbaiting the audience with these characters.

Side note for anyone is doesn’t actually know what queerbaiting is:

It’s a marketing technique used in entertainment, which the writer or creators hint at but then don’t actually depict sex-same romance or LGBTQ representation. They do this to attract (bait) the LGBT/queer or straight ally audience into the show with the suggestion of representation but at the same time avoiding this as not alienate other audience members *cough* (homophobes) *cough*

The Legend of Korra is a great example of Last-Minute Hookup. Korra and Asami had VERY little ship teasing, and that was in the last 2 books/seasons. Any thing that was perceived as romantic came from the fans wearing shipping goggles. So to a lot of people just casually watching, yes this looked like it came out of nowhere. Nickelodeon had some serious balls to say how brave they were for putting 2 girls into a romantic relationship.

Theres a few problems with this.

A. It never actually aired on TV (to my knowledge). The last 2 seasons of Korra were put on Nicks website.

B. The confirmation that this Korrasami was canon had to come from the creators on twitter because of how unclear it was.

C. The show did the bare minimum when it came to hooking them up in the series. They walk off holding hands (very cute btw). They didn’t even get a kiss. Aang and Katara had a Last Minute Hookup at the end of ATLA after 3 seasons of ship tease and THEY GOT A KISS. Hell the original end of LoK*, has Korra and Mako kissing. *(the first season, they didn’t know they were getting more seasons at the time, no matter what you hear the writers say, they’re full of shit)

D. Anything continuation of Korra has come in the form of comics, which her and Asami are in a fairly well written relationship. Yes, they do kiss. Yes it would’ve been great to see this stuff happen in series.

A show that handles this a little bit better is Adventure Time. Not by much though. It implied several times that Princess Bubblegum and Marceline have history together and its shown more and more in its last few seasons that there is some ship tease happening. However its not until the finale where they kiss, and they are shown in the last minute of the show cuddling together in Marcy’s house. HBO has picked up Adventure Time and has a miniseries called Adventure Time: Distant Lands, where Bubblegum and Marceline’s past relationship is shown.

I had brought up in my original post about being upset with networks making LGBTQ+ relationships canon in the last season/episode. I originally had Catradora tagged. While Catra and Adora have history together, they did not become official couple until the end of the series.

Yes, I was wrong about the network making things canon in the last episode as they’ve always had ship tease with each other, and it probably was the writers’ intent to put them together by the end. They do technically fall under the Last-Minute Hookup, however.

I wanna talk about Once Upon a Time really quick. Fans of the show were hoping and wishing for an LGBTQ couple for the show as a lot of characters, especially Regina and Emma, have alot Ho Yay moments. The showrunners weren’t going to put those two together, for whatever reasons they may have for that (im indifferent on all the shipping going on with this show). The showrunners thought to put two characters together, and hoo boy did it not make people happy. The characters they put together are Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Ruby the red riding hood, which would be fine if they had properly been developed.

The entire episode they did this in was a mess. They stopped the current arc during the season 5 episode ‘Ruby Slippers,’ to go over the characters that haven’t been seen in years, Dorothy was introduced and last seen in season 3, and Ruby was introduced in season 1 and was last seen in season 5 before ‘Ruby Slippers’. The characters get together in the same episode the meet in and are never seen again. The characters barely interacted, barely got along, and showed little to no ship tease or interest in each other and BOOM they are in love and together aaaaaannnnndd they’re gone. Other than having One Million Moms, a Christian fundamentalist organization, protest against the show and want it taken off the air (yes this really happened). The fans weren’t please with this development of the characters either.

(also Mulan was right there and already knew Ruby from a previous episode, and Mulan already is established to like girls as shown by her being in love with Aurora. Don’t know why the writers didn’t just put these 2 together but whatever I guess)

So they tried again in season 7 with MadArcher. The characters of Alice, a version of Alice in Wonderland from another realm (its complicated) and Robin, the daughter of Robin Hood and the Wicked Witch (it’s also complicated). And the writers did a lot better here. Both characters were allowed to have time together and have a history together too and it was done over the whole season. Not just one episode.

Now even though the writers decided to do something different with the last season and it could be detached from the previous 6 seasons, MadArcher is not really a Last Minute Hookup per say but still falls under my thing about it being the last season so who gives a fuck if One Million Moms gets mad us and tries to get us cancelled again.

I would like to say I have never watched a single episode of Supernatural in my life. I may one day. But as of right now my knowledge of it is coming primary from what ive seen on tumblr. You know a great source for doing research and looking for reliable information among the piles of shitposting.

From what I know from fans, the writers of Supernatural have been queer baiting for years. I mean it’s the CW, I’m not that surprised. What also wouldn’t surprise me, that by the end of the series Castiel is back and he and Dean actually start and relationship or strongly hint at starting one. I actually fear for the writer lives if they threw out a confession scene after years of queerbaiting and potential ship tease (debatable) and they don’t put them together. Fans are going to be angrier than they probably ever have been with this show and the showrunners and writers really would be known for queer baiting.

From what I know about how previous shows have done and if anyone that has ever worked on this show wants to continue living, Castiel will be back from Super Hell (is that what yall are calling it?) and he will get together with Dean. And they will fall under the Last-Minute Hookup trope and my networks make LGBTQ relationships canon last season.

One last show I want to talk about is Supergirl, which in has been recently announced that the 6th season will be the last. The show started on CBS but moved to the CW after the end of season 1. So more CW bullshit. There is no confirmation about whether the CW or any of the Supergirl writers are planning to do this, its all speculation. Supergirl is more LGBTQ friendly than some other shows on the Network. One of the main characters came out a few years ago and had a girlfriend a season and has had plenty of hookups with other ladies around the Arrowverse. They even introduced a trans-woman superhero in the form of Dreamer.

Let’s talk SuperCorp. Lena Luthor was introduced in the 2nd season and has been a major character in Kara’s life ever since her introduction. Even if she isn’t involved in the plot, Kara always goes to her to talk and check in on her and worry about her. They are best friends. Since the 2 have met, there has been plenty of Les Yay going on. The writers seem to be aware of the fans wanting SuperCorp to be canon and they keep throwing in moments like Kara and Lena struggling together or Kara carrying Lena bridal style.

Why I bring this up after the announcement of Supergirl’s final season to start next year. We may get SuperCorp. Kara has a relationship with William in the show and not a single person likes this relationship. The writers may scrap it and get put Kara and Lena together for the final season. This is a big maybe though. The Supergirl writers and crew get called out a lot for queerbaiting.

But by the 4th hour of work sure enough he came in to ‘look at clothes’ . You shook your head leaning on the counter watching the door. Waiting for a Pro to step though.

okay this post is for @markostuntthesehoes because it was too long to fit in messages, but anyone is free to look. this is how I crop my gifs in a very LONG roundabout way and I probably do extra steps so *hopefully* this helps somewhat, crys? even if just to give you a general idea?? I’ve learned to do my gifs through gifmakers on tumblr showing their process and my best friend helped me BIG TIME about a year ago to really get the process down so I kind of cherry-picked things that made sense to me, so that’s why I do it in what is probably a complicated way? anyways, I went ahead and started from the very beginning (when I first open the screenrecording in ps) so you can see what I’m doing and hopefully be able to adjust for you!!! HOWEVER this is a lot of tiny steps to explain so if this doesn’t help PLEASE let me know and I will try and record a video and hopefully be able to do audio while I do so I can explain everything as it happens/as I do it!!! also in all fairness this was honestly an excuse to do ANOTHER bandido gifset because I FOUND ONE WHERE HE HAS HORSES ON HIS JACKET AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (yea im in Love Love)

okay. here we go. focus, ashley.

step one, I open the video I screenrecorded in photoshop! (hopefully you can click these images and make them fullsized)

step two is to use the crop tool to crop to the video itself and get rid of all the other website shit.

step three is to resize the video for the initial resize. I always resize it to 600 width because then from there I can decide if I want 540 width gifs or 268 width gifs.

step four yikes my screencap got messy. OKAY so this is where you make a new window the SAME SIZE as your resized video and you drag the video over. click create video timeline (you do this so you can crop the video into frames, otherwise it wont let you chop it up or at least. it doesnt let ME)

step five you trim the video to the EXACT scenes you want your gifset to be

step six you go to convert frames -> flatten frames to layers. now. keep in mind if you’re doing a really LONG scene you’re going to want to repeat steps four and five to cut the video into smaller clips to flatten. open multiple windows and trim the video down to each scene you want and THEN convert and make your frame layers. my computer can normally do a 250-frame clip with ease (this scene came out to 244 frames) but anything more than that slows it WAY down and tbh most of the time that’s just me being too impatient to repeat steps

step seven after converting to frame animation (bottom left corner of the video timeline, the three lil squares) you’ll resize based on what kind of gifset you want to make. here’s what I go with - if I want to make it 540 width, I resize to 560 width. If I want to go with a 268 x 300 gif, I make the height 320 (this is because I have excess non-video stuff I need to crop out). THIS is the psd you’re going to save now that you have ALL the frames for your gifset. This way if you mess up your gifset you can open this and have your frames ready and you don’t have to go through the long process of getting them back.

step eight okay so now I’ve decided I want this two be four gifs (I looked at how long the scene was and where I could split it and have now seen that 61 frames per gif for four gifs is perfect) I am going to copy 61 frames at a time, open a NEW window and past those frames repeat x however many gifs you’re going to have.

step nine boom! I now have four windows of my 61 frames so I know how this is gonna look. now I have to crop it to tumblrs sizes. I have a new little window open thats 268 x 300 (the size I’m gonna make these) and I used a paint bucket to fill the layer white.

step ten OKAY so now I have dragged the tumblr size over to my first gif. MAKE SURE the white image (or whatever color you use) is the top layer in your layers, but that on the frame animation window you’ve selected frame number one. lower the opacity and watch your gif with the tumblr sized image overlaying it. this is going to help you know if you need to move it or if you can crop it where you have it (you can make sure faces don’t get cropped out if they move too much, etc)

step eleven now we’re gonna grab that crop tool cause I know where I wanna cut it. pull the crop corners in to fit the tumblr dimmensions (it should hover and tell you your height and width, but also sometimes tumblr is nice and just latches on to the image size you’re cropping to so it just catches it and you’re good. then right click and select “crop”

step twelve rinse and repeat on each gif! BOOM! resized and cut to tumblr dimensions. now you can sharpen or color or whatever you wanna do from there!!!!!

Despite what John had suggested, Ringo didn't go back to The Helter Skelter the following week; he'd considered it when John sent him yet another late night text but ultimately decided it wasn't the best idea. Authortube is horrible and why I’ve turncoated to Booktube. I wont apologize but I will argue.

I’ve consumed about 5 hours worth of Authortube just to write a shitty think-piece about it, so now we gotta have this talk. If you’re unaware of what I’m talking about let me explain; YouTube is a website that used to be about cat videos but now splits itself into subsections THAT ARE DEFINITELY NOT CULTS, but kinda looks like it at times,

Though these genre’s aren’t really official, there is a genre for just about everything, and creative things especially. You have plenty of genres and way too many Youtubers to express it, and despite my pretentious nature I actually love how congested it is because it means its accessible to almost everyone, anybody can pretty much join in,

Gaming is probably the biggest on YouTube right now, but we like to pretend that it doesn’t exist and consume that content in the darkest corners of our house and pretend we don’t like it. Anyways; Authortube is kind of self explanatory and despite what a man-splainer I am as a 21 year old female, I think you get the point on what it is,

Well, with Authortube, we are making books to be consumed, and with this happening, Booktube has also bloomed. And in my judgemental opinion, it is actually better, and no, I’m not gonna go on the rampant that “we need to learn our audience” because preying on a bunch of minors doesn't sound very nice.

Or legal, actually, yikes. It’s not like that, don’t make a judgment, we authors just want their money, not their mental state. Okay, I need to shut up, let’s talk about shit posting again,

It’s actually not all minors, there’s plenty of adults on BookTube as well, which actually makes it that much more relatable, as to where Authortube is mainly adults who are going through routes to publishing their book or already have. Now, don’t attack me just yet, it’s my turn to argue honey and I brought an unloaded gun to the canon fight, I have an example for you.

Let’s take a look at Jenna Moreci, who is lovely, but also pretentious as all fuck. So me, but successful, not broke, prettier and in video format. In all seriousness I understand her audience, it’s primarily youthful writers looking for advice or writers looking to self publish because they see a success story, but this advice is all very mediocre and this isn’t a Jenna problem, this is an Authortube problem, Jenna Moreci is just an unfortunate example to explain my point,

She’s even made certain content I can consume and not wanna spittle up, but it’s only when she herself is in the frame, and mainly when writing is not what she’s trying to teach me about. Jenna as a person with personality is quite lovely and very watchable, but Jenna as a self-publisher is part of the reason why I’ve turncoated.

Writers aren’t puppies, you can’t teach them tricks, and though writing advice is important to get, I don’t see there being a lot of purpose in having 18 YouTubers telling me Show not Tell, but never following the same advice.

You don’t get that lecturing attitude from Booktube, you get lovely personalities like Ariel Bisset and hilarious reviews from Cat (Paperbackdreams) and it actually becomes more watchable because it feels more genuine because they’re actual people in front of a camera, talking about what they enjoy, that’s because they aren’t trying to sell you something.

To compare two examples, for Authortube we’ll use Jenna Moreci, and for BookTube, we’ll use LilyCReads,

LilyCReads, a BookTube channel, who used to do hilarious reviews on plenty of books, in a more so ranting fashion, and this worked for her, her audience grew a lot because of it. But eventually, she felt so obligated to make rant reviews she stopped enjoying the process of making the videos entirely, so with this being her emotions, she took down her rant reviews due to feeling too negative about it. Her greatest fear was becoming a rant review channel focusing on negativity. Though many of these videos I loved from her, she took them all down, which at first, was a bit saddening for me, as I watched those videos after a long day, oftentimes repeatedly, but I could not deny her genuine emotion to not wanting to be negative.

And honey, I can’t relate, but I can say LilyCReads is one of the most genuine faces you will see on camera now. Has her subscriber count faced a backlash to this? Yes, she took down what -- in my opinion -- was her best videos.

I don’t laugh when I watch her videos anymore, so this isn’t to say Booktube is perfect but I can say she is much more of a person for it and has not re-uploaded the rant-reviews for viewership at my time of writing this.

And then we have Jenna Moreci, as we’ve discussed is very likable person and that’s why she’s succeeding, but it’s very hard to get a genuine feeling from her unless you have a bias to content you’ve enjoyed from her, so eventually “Cyborg” starts feeling less like a joke, and more like a reality,

This leads us to a very conflictive point, which is Marketing; and trust me, I don’t wanna talk about the marketing of a book no more than you wanna read about it, but the bottom line is we can’t finish this topic without at least mentioning it,

And it is worth mentioning because that is actually the drive that most people start these channels with. Though for some I’m sure they do actually enjoy it, but others whom I won’t mention, it feels as genuine as my hair extensions; looks right in certain angles, but is definitely about to come unglued.

It’s worth mentioning that I only started this blog because I wanted to become involved within a writing community and eventually begin marketing my own shitty book I wrote, so I come at this with not judgment, but a realization. The only reason I continue to do this right now is because I find a genuine enjoyment from it, but I don’t get to choose when my writing feels genuine to you, and it is only fair to mention, that those were the intentions I started with.

I understand the point of marketing but it’s also worth mentioning how fucking skeezy that actually is, when our audience is more of a person than we actually are as writers/authors. And if you’re reading this as somebody who isn’t a writer, but is a reader, then you’re in the clear, but if you’re a writer, be aware of this before you bleach the side of your head to maintain a “funky skunky stripe” and start a Tumblr blog like I did.

I was a redneck before this, can you believe that? Shame. I feel lots of shame.

Now, I’m not saying marketing your book makes you evil, I’m just saying that it’s hard not to get wrapped up in the business mindset because publishing a book on your own is fucking terrifying. It’s scary to realize that you may have put months/years into a book that will flop because you made 2 less Instagram posts last week. Trust me, I get it, but at some point Authortube took a great plunge.

And though yes, this is all my opinion, I think we all know it’s quite clear I really only care about what I’m saying at the moment, so I really don’t give two shits about who you watch on YouTube, but I will say, if you enjoy Authortube, you’ll love Booktube, and I hope you love both, because both have important places.

But I’ve become biased to people and I can’t help but scan every person I meet, see, or know to make sure they’re genuine. I like seeing people because we are surrounded by capitalization run amok. Everything is a god damn advertisement and it’s honestly driving me insane, so it is nice to relax, kick back and watch somebody read ‘Searching Around Nebraska’, a book I’ll never read, but listen to somebody talk about because at least I know they enjoyed it.

And it’s important for me to watch people enjoy things, I’ve lost all happiness in the void of my self-conscience telling me to pay for Facebook advertisements, I mean god damn guys my pretentious mindset has me syringe-ejecting serotonin from videos about red pandas, and injecting it directly into the bloodstream. It’s like crack, but cuter.

My point is, reading is hard and writing has fried my brain, support nice people with small channels because they’re more likely to write a diss track on me and that’s all I truly want. Bully me, mommy.

I've only got the first issue of batman who laughs and I haven't read up to that part yet in dark nights but he is so awesome!!! I wanna get the rest of batman who laughs and then dark nights heavy metal after I finish but my ass is broke so we'll see hahaa (there's a freakin soundtrack for dark nights overall I don't really like it but they got me with Maria brink I like the two songs she's on and the red death song cuz the red death batman is woah, although the lyrics make more sense once you've read the comics buutt they should totally make metal animated movies and use the soundtrack)

I haven't read anything with Tim and from what I've seen in comic panels of him on tumblr is that he is a disaster lol I'm pretty sure there was a panel of him straight up eating food (pizza? I think?) out of a dumpster in an alley boyyy no

I haven't read any DCeased yet but I'll defo get around to that at some point it looks pretty cool

You should go to your local library's website and see if they are connected/have hoopla! It's this awesome app that partners with libraries and basically let's you rent online books and comics for free!(they have TONS of batman graphic novels!!!) Unfortunately your library puts a limit on how many you can borrow a month (mine is 8) but still, free legal comics!(that's the main way I've been reading comics! Tho I did go to a comic hook store while in nyc the other day and got some Bat graphic novels and a new one where I saw Damian doing casual rock yoga with Ra's and like needed it obviously xD ), another way is the app/website DC Infinite, it is a per month subscription but compared to buying comics individually it is really worth it!(I also just got that cause Hoopla didnt have the Red Robin series or this one Jason todd series haha)

Omg they made a soundtrack for it?! I need to check that out! Well I should probs read it first tbh xD but yes omg they NEED to make an animated movie of it! Tho they already went so hard with Justice League Dark Apokolips War, I'm worried they wont wanna do another one so dark so soon🤔 but they really need to! It would make such a good movie omg

Lallapalooza part 3 (Joshx reader)

You had made plans with Tyler, Jenna, and Josh to go to dinner a few days ago. The plan was for them to pick you up tonight at 7 pm to go to applebees. You were excited but also nervous. You hadn't spent much time with Jenna or Tyler , but earlier this morning you got a text from Jenna, she asked if you would like to go to the mall with her to get an outfit for tonight. Of course you said yes and now she was on her way to pick you up.

Two honks rang from outside and you grabbed your phone off of your bed and headed out the door. Jenna sat in her car with a bright smile on her face, you smiled back and got in the passenger seat.

"How have you been?" she asked as she pulled back into traffic.

"Great! I've been looking forward to hanging out with you guys" you responded clicking your seat belt on.

"Me too! Josh says great things about you" she chimed. Your heart fluttered.

Josh.

"Josh talks about me?" you asked

Jenna laughed. "Yeah only all the time"

"What's going on with you two anyways? I seen that facebook post" she smiled slyly referring to Josh's post from the APMA's. You blushed and honestly didn't know how to answer her. You and Josh had become good friends and you thought about having feelings for him but you weren't sure.

"I honestly don't even know at this point, I'm just gunna see how tonight goes and let everything unfold how it wants to" you replied with a slight laugh. Jenna nodded

"Good idea, ride it out, no need to rush anything" she responded. After about a twenty minute drive you guys found yourselves in the mall parking lot. You both got out of the car and walked in.

"Which store should we go to?" you asked looking around. Jenna thought for a moment.

"Let's go to ragstock" she suggested.

"Good idea I love that store. Cute clothes. Cheap price" you said.

"This is cute" Jenna chimed holding up a pink floral dress. You laughed.

"Yeah that would look great on you, I on the other hand would look ridiculous" you answered as you continued to sift through the clothing rack.

"Oh stop it. You look great in everything, try it on" she urged. You looked at her for a moment, she made puppy dog eyes and frowned. "For me?" she begged. You rolled your eyes and smiled. "God fine, but if I don't like it, it's coming off immediately" you said as the both of you headed to a dressing room. You closed the door and took off your clothes before slipping the dress on. Jenna was right, it was really pretty. The blush colored pink and the maroon colored flower pattern was beautiful against your skin. It was form fitting which you weren't a huge fan of because you weren't a huge fan of your form. You took one more look at yourself.

"How does it look?" Jenna questioned from outside the door. You stepped out of the dressing room and Jennas face lit up.

"I knew you'd look great!!" she exclaimed. "It is a really pretty dress, why don't you try it on?" you suggested.

"I think you should wear it, it was made for you" she replied reassuringly.

"Well what are you going to wear?" you asked stepping back into the dressing room.

"I'm not sure, I have some ideas though" she answered. You put your normal clothes back on and held the dress in your arms as you and Jenna continued looking around.

"This would look great on you" you said holding up a pair of black jean shorts with an olive green strapless top.

"Let's try it!" Jenna said grabbing the outfit. You made your way back to the dressing rooms. A few moments passed and Jenna stepped out, and of course she looked wonderful and amazing as always.

"You look amazing! Tyler will love it!" you smiled.

"Well good, then the hard part of tonight is over, now all we have to do is eat for free " Jenna laughed. You both paid for your new clothes and left the store.

"What time is it anyways?" you asked looking at your phone. You seen you had a text from Josh.

"Oh Josh texted me" you said. You and Jenna stopped walking as you read the message.

J: Hey (Y/N), I'm so so sorry but I wont be able to make it to dinner tonight....something came up, I'm sorry. can we reschedule?

"Oh..." you said, the smile faded from your face.

"What?" Jenna asked leaning in to see your phone screen. You tilted it so she could read it easier.

"Oh no...I wonder what came up, I'll have to ask Tyler and see if he knows anything. We could still go to dinner if you want" she offered, a hint of sympathy in her voice.

"No that's okay, you and Ty should go I wouldn't want to impose" you replied.

"Well you wanna just come over to my place and hangout? We could binge watch netflix and order pizza?" she offered again. You looked at Josh's message again and then at jenna. You smiled, "sure, that actually sounds really fun" you said. Jenna smiled back.

"Awesome! I'll head home and tell tyler dinner is off and then you can just come over around 6" she said. You agreed and she drove you home.

You walked inside after saying bye to Jenna and opened your phone deciding to respond to Josh.

Y: That's okay, I understand, we'll just have to do it another time, no worries Josh, I hope everything's okay

J: thank you, you're the best

You closed your phone and sat on your couch. You really did hope everything was okay, but you were also really sad. You had been looking forward to going to dinner with everyone.

"I guess this dress will have to get used to the closet" you spoke to yourself as you hung it up in your room.

"Where should we get pizza from?" Jenna asked looking at her phone. You thought for a moment. "How about marcos?" you suggested. "Oh my god yes, they are SO good" she said as she went to the Marcos website beginning to make an order. You and her were sitting on her couch, she was wearing a pair of Tyler's basketball shorts and a black sweatshirt , with her hair in a bun. You wore black leggings with an oversized band Tee.

"Should we get cheesy bread?" Jenna asked. You chucked "obviously" you responded. Jenna laughed "alright I'll get some annnnnnd I'll get some lava cake" she spoke completing the order.

You guys watched Lord Of The Rings as you waited for your pizza. You and her shared a blanket watching the movie and talking to Tyler every so often when he came into the living room. The doorbell rang and Jenna paused the movie and hopped up. "Pizza's here!" she said as she trotted to the door. You heard her talking to the delivery person as you scrolled through facebook.

You seen a post that made your heart crumble. It was a picture, posted by some girl named Debby. The picture was of the girl and.....Josh outside a movie theater posted an hour ago with the caption:

"awesome night out with this guy 💜"

You frowned as the sound of Josh's voice filled your ears

I can't make it to dinner..Something came up.

"Here we go" Jenna said setting the pizza down on the coffee table infront of you. Her smile quickly fell when she saw the look on your face.

"What's wrong?" she asked sitting next to you. You showed her the picture and spoke softly

Tribal went according to plan. Leanne was blindsided 5-3. Now to do damage control with Naj and Aimee. Hopefully we don't have to do this soon. Zack's constant paranoia before tribal is worrisome.

Within minutes of tribal ending, Jay sends us a message saying that our next immunity challenge will start in a few minutes. What the hell??? I was not expecting that. It turns out to be a game of tag from hell. We instantly lost Sarah and Amy because they have sketchy internet connection at the moment. Although losing the challenge and going to tribal isn't the worst thing for my game, I accidentally goofed and was eliminated after two hours. It's now down to Zack, Ben, and Naj vs 5 (?) of their people. Zack tried to make a deal with them to end this, but no dice. If we do lose, Aimee probably goes home. I don't want to go to tribal again, so I'm once again praying to the Survivor ORG gods for a W.

After more than four hours, WE WON THE TAG CHALLENGE FROM HELL!!! We were only down to Zack and Ben, but we won!! The other tribe agreed to do a randomizer and had a 75% chance of winning, but the Survivor ORG gods favored us and we got the W. After the challenge, Jay said to be online after tribal. This leads us to think a swap is happening. I'm just hoping that the odds are in my favor and end up with some variation of the 5. Ideally, the my new tribe would be me, Sarah, Ben, and two people from the other tribe. As long as my new tribe isn't myself with Aimee/Naj and three new people, I should be ok.

what can i say right now? i'm not happy. we won the immunity challenge but not because we deserved it. i'm so irritated with the majority of my tribe at the moment. again, i understand that real life is going on around us and the majority don't have the luxury of just sitting around on our computers all day. BUT LIKE CAN WE JUST TRY IT ONE NIGHT?! just once. the challenge was tag. endurance. we have to be ready to go every 5 minutes. did i plan on spending my saturday night like this. absolutely not. was i there until the very end? absolutely. we started out with cody, james, najwah, ben, and i. we were immediately down by 2 because sarah and aimee weren't available. after about an hour john from the other tribe and i were chosen to meet to try to reach a deal to end this challenge early. i got nothing from john even through i tried to be cute and mention that he beat me in the flag challenge. whatever. we continue. during this continuation the host left to shave her head. cute haircut, wrong timing. can you imagine jeff being like "brb guys, do this challenge without me because i need a trim real quick." like what? especially during a game where it comes down to SECONDS. like if you can't be there go ahead and tap in someone else. when she returned she asked if anything had happened ... the rules clearly stated that we were NOT ALLOWED to talk in the game chat ... john on the other side said "nope" .... the rest of us said nothing because again, let me repeat for the people in the back, the rules clearly stated that we were NOT ALLOWED to talk in the game chat. if their 6 (minus john) and our 4 at the time understood, why did he not? also, why did he not get punished for it? THEN we decided to make it harder where we were speeding it up a little to try and get through it tonight. again, let me repeat that, all we did was speed it up. from what i understood we had to "tag" someone at the beginning of the minute. we were not able to wait until the last second ... otherwise why would everyone have not been doing that the entire game? it would have obviously been the go to move. grae, from the other tribe, tagged najwah right before the cut off. she was literally typing as the round ended. it was clearly unfair but again overlooked and we were down another player. i know we are human and the host can't be everywhere at once and at the time ben and kalle from the other team were trying to come to some sort of deal to end the game BUT the game should have been the main focus. on top of letting it slide, my multiple comments of how it was unfair were not correctly addressed. in no way was i trying to get an upper hand for our team. it was clear at that moment we were going to lose and as i've mentioned in multiple confessions i would rather be at tribal than not because i don't know what everyone else is doing. i just love rules. i'm very type a. i pay attention to everything. i didn't think it was cool. nothing can change my mind. it wasn't cool. period. but let's take a moment to sit back and lay in that good karma. i'm a firm believer that good things come to those who deserve it and we did because we had two disadvantages happen to us in the game. in the end, we went to some website ... idk ... and did some random shit. their 5 names and our 2 were put in a list. they picked the number 3 so the host hit randomize or something 3 times and i picked the number 4 because that's my god number and BOOM!!!! ben's name was number 4 so we won. WONT HE DO IT. YES HE WILL. believe in him and give thanks because we won. i thought i was on mute but i wasn't and i clapped. the other team probably hates me and like i'm guessing we are going to expand to 3 groups of 5 tomorrow but i don't even care. if i'm going to lose and be voted out i want it to be right. our team did not deserve to be at tribal tomorrow and guess what .. we won't be. i'm praying i end up on a team with the majority of my alliance or at least my tribe but honestly we will probably lose if we do. i just want a team that wins so i can make it to the merge. that's all i'm focused on right now. the rest can come later. in conclusion, i don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. i don't really care. i'm ready to play survivor. ... oh yeah, and leanne went home at tribal tonight but honestly that feels so long ago and i don't really have anything to say about that except i love you leanne and it wasn't personal. the message to the wrong group killed your game. human error. *mic drop*

I am honestly shocked by that tribal. There are no words. I KNEW it wouldn't be straightforward. I knew some blindside would go down coz nothing made sense. However, I really didn't expect them to vote out Leanne haha. I thought it would be me for sure. As I told Cody, everyone are such bad actors. There were so many things that didn't add up and they created a group with "A plan" but no one had a plan and everyone was saying the same thing? Also Sarah was way too comfortable. I gave my all in that game. It was already 6am when I got eliminated (quite unfairly, might I add) but I could have gone on all night because there was no way I wanted to go to tribal council again. Especially now that I'm on the outs and don't really know who to trust anymore. I don't trust anyone. Cody called me after tribal but idk, I feel very disappointed because I at least thought HE had my back but I understood, I was close with Leanne and I was the one she was messaging in the group. As much as Leanne made a mistake. I made a mistake by replying. I basically dug my own grave by doing that. I bet they would have never known about my alliance with L had I not replied. I wish I was better at confessionals and didn’t always leave a brick. That will be my goal for the week. OKAY. So tribal went as planned last night with our strong group of 5 (Jess) voting out Leanne. I trusted my group and I‘m glad I didn’t need to play my idol last night (and I love that it’s still a secret except for Cody knowing about it). After tribal, people thought Leanne may have had the idol and that now it was back in the hunt. Turns out, Leanne DID have a fake idol, whatever that means. Moving into a tribe swap, I do feel pretty good about going into one with most people on our tribe. I feel good about anyone in our group of five. I do worry though that with how spontaneous Zack is he may want to make a big move and flip on our tribe. Apparently Naj thinks I am a threat and thinks I will win so I do have to watch out for her but I do genuinely want to work with her. She doesn’t seem to know about Cody and I but she did expose her and Cody’s connection (which I obviously knew about) so she is quick to expose people! I am not as close with Aimee so she may flip too but thank god I have the idol just in case I get in a unpredictable tribe swap situation. So excited to get to know more people and I feel like this game has kicked it up a notch. Ready for a tribe swap! And hoping there are some cracks in the other tribe.
