jesus christ i just opened itunes to import a new cd and they said all my music is now available on apple music so i had to download that and i guess it looks fine but i can't say for certain my entire library is there but i'm just like??? it's called iTUNES and you're only gonna have podcasts and audiobooks on there? what the fuck is this about

Man speaking of oc playlists I probably sound old saying this, but I remember when people used to use 8tracks to share their character playlists with each other like all the time. Looked it up just now and found they shut down in 2019, so I guess that explains why I don't see it around anymore. XD ;

Now I'm curious, how do people share oc playlists now? Youtube? Spotify?

The urge I get every few months to pull apart my phone and use my dad's old iPod and convert an old phone into an mp3 player dumb phone and to only watch Cable television but the problem is that it's really really hard to do that when there are very few cable television channels that play a variety anymore outside of your pbs station as more and more of the remaining ones move to a "binge" model or are fake internet channels (like Roku's "live tv" feature) that only play one piece of media and phones are more and more ubiquitous and are hard to dumb down as even basic apps like Google Maps use addictive tactics to "hook you".

does anyone use an mp3 player? do you have any recs i wanna stop using spotify/streaming services. i was looking at walkmans and while the NW-A306 would probs be my best bet its pricey and im worried about the screen. it also has streaming capabilities which i dont want to pay for features im trying to avoid. the NW-E394 is what i had a lil bit more in mind, but im afraid of storage and it doesn't have bluetooth :/// also it seems a bit steep in price for what it is.
