it was slightly amusing to see the usually composed and cool headed trey clover flustered. his cheeks flushed pink in embarrassment. 'why did I say that?' he questioned over and over silently until his head started to spin.

"well, I'd hate to break one the Queen's laws." golden eyes widened in bewilderment at your statement. you were having the time of your life teasing him, weren't you? giggling like the menace he knows you to be.

your hands toyed with his tie, slowly and gently tugging at the fabric. if riddle saw him he'd surely hear an earful about proper dress, but, who cares? not him. not when you were flirting with him so blatantly in his room.

"what will it be clover?"

"what're you willing to give darling?"

the look in your eyes answered for him. everything. anything. no matter how ludicrous the request or object it would be his.

"you know you have my consent, yes?" your question was met with a nod, and a very deep gulp. he was great at keeping up the calm, cool and collected facade but, upon closer inspection — thundering heartbeat, cheeks now turning a deep red color, sweaty palms — he was, in fact, far from that.

trey didn't realize he had leaned in until he felt your breath fan his cheek. the faint smell of his birthday tart from the party reminded him that anyone could walk in. even so, there was no need to rush this moment.

it's his birthday after all. he deserves to be a bit selfish.

especially when it tastes like cherries.

"today was fun! i can't believe you planned all this just for me." although he kept his usual happy go lucky cadence, there was an underlying tone of disbelief. he had asked you to pinch him many times during your outing yet it still didn't feel real.

each part of the day was calculated. no matter how many times you deny it, he was in the forefront of your mind.

there was no cake or sweet treat. instead, a plate of spicy curry with happy birthday written in sauce. it was a bit sloppy but made his heart warm and brain fuzzy.

he half expected the two of you to go shopping, however, you surprised him again with a trip to the bookstore. cater knew you enjoyed manga. it was a popular topic amongst you and the underclassmen.

"branching out is an important part of growing up!" you had lectured him. he found it amusing but allowed you to coerce him into getting a few volumes of your favorites.

not that it took much. you could ask for the moon and cater would find a way to make it happen.

lastly, was his dislike for crowds. thus, the two of you were on the quiet beach, watching the sunset as the sky exploded in various hues of warmth. it had been a cinematic ending to his birthday. and, for once, he didn't want it to end.

the celebrations typically left a bad taste in his mouth. literally.

if anyone were to make today the least bit tolerable it would be you. the two of you were friends, not super close but far from distant, and today – like many other days – time went by too fast, and wish you'd stay beside him a but longer.

"let's take a picture!" cater smiled, not waiting for your answer as he pulled you close. hopefully you didn't notice how nervous he was to hold you like this, so close, so warm.

with a silly face for the camera he snapped the photo, only to feel a burst of warmth on his cheek.

"happy birthday cater!" you were so genuine, smiling softly and asking "same time next year?"

cater couldn't bring himself to answer. but, if his toothy smile was anything to go by then it was a resounding yes.

for once he looked forward to next year. more importantly, spending it with you.

ain't nothin' great about birthdays. it's just the day I was born. but if you really wanna celebrate it, I won't stop you. I always welcome presents.

"you know it's rude not to greet the birthday boy." it wasn't unusual to hear snide remarks from leona. in fact, he was ninety percent sure you expected this from your reaction. or the lack of one.

he didn't know why you gave him a birthday gift. but, since you did, it irritated him that you didn't deliver it yourself.

"you don't like it?" tease. even when you're cornered by a predator like himself you find time to dig under his skin. it was entertaining most of the time. right now, it simply pissed him off.

"if you're gonna be so bold as to give me a gift, at least deliver it yourself." huffing, he stood straight, content with getting his point across.

as hard as you tried to remain unbothered by his presence, you failed. your eyes watched him warily, anticipating something but not knowing what.

"leona, I don't know what you're planning but–"

"just thought i'd take the rest of my gift to go."

and, just like that, you were over his shoulder. as far as he's concerned the rest of your schedule is cleared to entertain the birthday boy.

what were you thinking? giving someone like him "coupons" as if he didn't already have someone to do his tedious work. as stupidly endearing your gift is, he intends to use each and every one.

naturally you end up in his room. unnaturally, he placed you down on your feet gently. he snorted at your surprise and handed you a small stack of clothes.

"your ... gym uniform?"

"put it on. you smell like your friends, and cat, I won't be able to sleep peacefully like that."

you scoffed at his reasoning but it was very very believable. leona felt a tinge of guilt for lying but, in his defense, if he was going to use you as a pillow you could at least smell like him.

the shirt was too big and you replaced his pants with your own clean pair of sweats. it seemed to have sufficed, because a moment later the two of you were, what he calls 'platonically cuddling'.

in his eyes, there was nothing platonic.

not the way you gently scratched his hair while scrolling on your phone.

not the way his tail curled around your waist protectively.

not the way he felt so at ease it he's barely conscious long enough to question the feeling before drifting to sleep.

what's up? I'm kinda busy collecting birthday voice clips from my game faves. after all, the only people who celebrate for me IRL are, like, my relatives. huh? you came to throw a birthday party? f-for me?! hrk... c-couldn't you give me a ready check or something before springing a raid on me?! i'm totally ungeared, and I haven't even watched a tutorial video yet!

the party wasn't as bad as he expected. just as you predicted, there are people who enjoy the same things he does — he and lilia play the same type of games, ace is a manga nerd — in short, his pop culture skillset was a sufficient substitute for his lack of social exp.

"look at you, increasing buddy levels with npc's. is now a bad time to say i told you so?"

"yes. you can't make fun of me on my b-birthday."

you laughter caused his hair to flare underneath his hood. although the party wasn't as overwhelming as he expected, you were still ... well, you, and you never failed to reduce his HP to zero with a smile.

imagine the damage he took when you suddenly took his hand, dragging him off to who knows where?

it was a critical hit.

"one more surprise." you giggled, opening one of the many doors in your recently renovated dorm. this specific room was decorated with the purpose of gaming.

the pc was decent, dual monitors, a soundbar, and a handful of game systems that cost more than a few thaumarks.

"now you can teach a mere noob like me all about gaming in the magic world."

all of this, to play games with him? it was unbelievable. he didn't deserve it. you were friends with plenty of maxed out characters and there were various love interest routes for you to take, yet, you chose him.

"i am pretty g-good. tutorial videos wouldn't help someone as h-hopeless as you."

it was the first time he spent his birthday with someone that wasn't related to him. teaching the main character (in his eyes) how to play video games. your shoulders were touching, faces inches apart whenever you'd turn to him, listening to him explain this and that.

idia had muted the party. buddy levels with npc's didn't matter when he was filling the romance bar.

Now that I'm sure Onew has left Bali, it's my story time! How I accidentally met my idol for 13 years, SHINee's Onew!!!

I don't know Onew will come to a public event in Bali, so I thought I will keep this story with me forever. But he was so kind to everyone, and I want to share this from a fan perspective that if you genuinely support someone, the universe will collide to help you meet them one day.

I came to Bali for work, and after a whole tiring week, I extended my stay with a few colleagues to have a little vacation. We wanted to eat Pho cause it's been raining a lot. Almost went to a different restaurant, but due to traffic, we changed it to a closer Vietnam restaurant in Canggu. I was sleepy the whole time until I saw a familiar-looking korean guy walked in front of my table. It took me a good 3 seconds to literally froze and gasp loudly knowing it was Jinki. My friend thought I lost smth (as usual) . They got startled as well, but can u blame me?

He sat right behind our table, and I went outside to catch some breath. No kidding, my heart stopped, I had goosebumps all over my body, and my hands were trembling hard. There was a bookstore right beside the restaurant, so I bought 2 postcards to write him a letter and maybe ask an autograph [...] (OP was sitting in front of ONEW and was very nervous) In the middle of that chaos, I tried to calmly write a letter on that postcard. I wanted to say a LOTTTTTTT of things, but nothing comes to mind than wishing him good health. [...] (OP tries not to make uncomfortable ONEW and just let it go, she goes on with her dinner normally, talks to her friends and tries not to stare ONEW. ONEW noticed her at the very end and her Boss said to her 'Go it's your time!')

October 19, 2023 - S on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, in NYC. Ring ding ding proves to be a very effective lookie here, not there prop. C's whereabouts unknown, as S's in the October 10-17 interval (Nevis? both? That would be my best bet, and yeah, go ahead and screech. I DGAF).

October 25, 2023 - S confirmed in GLA, despite posting 'from Nevis' the same day and shirtless thirst trap the next day. C's whereabouts unknown? Not really, I should say.

Back to the Northern Irish dinner - bear with me, Anon Rebelde, I am trying to pinpoint a date, here. Begin Again, Jeffers' book that prompted it, was out in the US on October 2 and in UK/Canada and Ireland on October 10:

One of the events surrounding this launch was held at Belfast's Crescent Arts Centre in partnership with No Alibis Bookstore, on October 24. Best thing? He is dressed exactly like in the NYT article pics.

My best bet is that dinner took place in Belfast on October 24, Anon Rebelde or at the latest on October 25 (next to 0 chance, given the identical attire, but let's allow some margin of error to our estimate).

As for Jeffers' position on the Israel-Hamas Gaza War (which, may I remind you, started on October 7), I think this is a very clear statement:

when i was going through a rough breakup with someone who was very bad to me, i told my now-girlfriend (but at the time was just an instagram friend) that i had missed reading but developed depression at around 10-11 years old due to childhood abuse and bullying for being autistic and gender non conforming and since then havent picked up a book, but didnt know where to start. she then pushed me to go to the bookstore and pick out a book to read, and i read and finished that one (hell followed with us by andrew joseph white). recently i bought another book by the same author, "the spirit bares its teeth" that apparently has an st4t subplot which is very fitting for me, as well as the main character being an autistic trans man and coming from an abusive household, and ive never related so much to a character in a book it's unreal. representation is important and the first book was great but the main character wasnt autistic and i cant relate to a non autistic character. and shoutout to my girlfriend for getting me back into reading after all this time, shes a reader herself. im putting this on my t4t blog because we're trans people in love. heres a pic i took of me laying on her while she was reading (she moved her book out of frame)

its one of my favorite pictures with her, and she makes me so happy, and i really am happy. im glad she got me back into reading. i know transphobes who see my account will harrass us for being who we are publicly, but i also get a lot of trans people who are happy to see two trans people who love each other, and i just wanna remind yall that you can be really happy too, not in spite of your transness even, but as a direct result. the community ive been blessed to have as a trans person and the people ive met and have bonded with because im trans and we're trans have been so valueable and important to my happiness. this post is all over the place but if you take anything from it, its that you can be happy as a trans person and you should prioritize your community🏳️‍⚧️💜

I agree and will take it up a notch. I feel like it’s possible they tried to make their involvement with each other known through subtle ish clues and no one picked up on it so they jointly decided to hit everyone over the head with it lol.

First he attends her June show and a video of him there is sent into deuxmoi. No one thinks anything of it because it seemed so out of the question they’d be a thing and he was with a group of his costars.

Then he attends her July show and is literally standing on a platform in what appears to be VIP and even though he’s super visible no one realizes.

Then they are both photographed in relation to the same bookstore (her at the store and him holding a bag) around the same timeframe. And then they are both separately photographed at the same restaurant he was shot at with A last year.

As I’m reading this back it seems silly but perhaps they were trying to drop clues to get people buzzing/talking about them and speculating. No one caught on so they went with a full on PR launch.

I sort of thought of this because I just don’t really know how to explain the solo pap pic otherwise or the lunch with ebon pap pics. But maybe his team set it up to try to get people talking about him and no one was so they took it a step further and launched the Doja rs. That actually seems more likely to me now. They started with ebon thinking being papped with a costar would get people talking but no one cared so they went for the romantic interest instead and it worked.

The Cedric's Apprentice magazine arrived today!! 🥳🎉

What surprises me the most it's the price. 13 brazillian reais!! This magazine today would cost arount 20 reais or more. In USA 20 reais would be around 4 dollars, which looks cheap, but 20 reais is a lot 😳 inflation yay

I don't remember how much I paid for this today anymore. As far as I remember I think it was around, idk, 15 reais? I believe it's not that expensive because it's not a coveted product, people don't want to buy it, which is in a way a little sad.

This magazine seems used, since it's in a good quality but not as good as the previous ones (they are from another seller). Because of the label, I suppose that it was in a bookstore or a magazine stand in the past, so it makes sense about being a little damaged. You can see it's damage in the corner of the pages, and they seem a little crumpled, it's also visible in the pics that I took. Imagining this still circulating in a magazine stand 10 years ago makes me emotional somehow :( I guess it's because of nostalgia. I always asked my mom to buy me activity/coloring books and sticker albums when walking through these on the street and sometimes she did buy them for me. Now they're nowhere to be seen nowadays. They were my happiness years ago, I had tons of Disney Princesses coloring books and I had an Angelina Ballerina sticker album. I miss my childhood 😭

You know the rule that I mentioned about each magazine being about one specific episode? This one didn't worked like that. Disney you really do hate Cedric, huh? (One of his two illustrations has a paint damage in his eyes. DISNEY YOU REALLY HATE CEDRIC DON'T YOU?)

The episodes mentioned were Two To Tangu (and the comic was about that episode 😭😭 nooo I want a Cedric's Apprentice comic), Cedric's Apprentice, The Amulet And The Anthem, and for some reason Cinderella is there too but in a different context (Once Upon A Princess, kinda).

We have a board game that I may or may not play, but I will definitely take copies to cut, as I refuse to cut an out-of-line product. IT'S NOT PRODUCED ANYMORE!

We also had a view of some books in his bookshelf on the cover and a spell book in the board game that I have never seen in the show. The cover of this book is really cute, you have a good taste Cedric. It's a flying dragon.

bigger better Neighborhood for sims

so i took my small neighborhood i made a while back, and i put it on a much bigger lot and improved it and filled it out bigger and better and oh my gods i am pretty pleased with it if i do say so myself

It should be useable as a multi-family apartment lot when the new For Rent pack comes out

Actually, it should be usable as almost any kind of lot -- retail, cafe, residential, park, gym... would need a tiny bit of work to run as a restaurant but you could do it -- i even left a small city block with a debug shell to delete on it ready for you to build your own little something there

It has an insane amount of detail and things for your sim to do. the park in the middle has a community theater with a karaoke set up on the stage so people will actually watch performances. There's an apartment building with 2 two bedroom apartments, a studio apartment over the bookstore/cafe, and a small house with a garage. And a run down block with a small homeless encampment.

all the buildings are built out with details down to a plunger and a non-functional garbage can in every bathroom. I even made a little crosswalk signal for the two busiest crosswalks

I particularly like the little block i built my corner store on -- the convenience store has a bunch of vending machines, and a coffee pot behind the counter, so sims will go in and get a cup of coffee and buy things from the vending machines. There's a laundromat next to it with a bus stop out front and above that there's a little clothing boutique and a photography studio

On the bad end of town there's an unbuilt block with some construction stuff and everything a homeless sim needs to live outdoors. And then across the street from that there's a seedy warehouse/tenant house building with a cool little food-truck bar situation and a chain-link fence basketball court area

Baji x Yves: A day in the park

It started with a simple "I'll pick you up in two hours. Wear something cute

" text from your boyfriend. You didn't even reply back, running towards your closet to find the perfect date outfit. Time flew and Baji already stood by your door when you rushed out, five minutes later than he had asked you to be ready at. But did he complain? No, not when you were looking like a snack. He looked you up and down, a satisfied grin playing on his lips "you look ravishing, babe. Love the necklace"

He took you to park in the middle of the city "Saw the tulips and thought of you" Baji admitted when you two sat down on the bench near the flowers. You and the ravenette chatted about your day before he handed you a sandwich. As you two ate Baji's home-made sandwiches, your boyfriend spotted cats nearby. Ever the cat magnet, the cats soon approached you two. You ended up feeding and petting cats before he brought you back home <333

Nanami x Yves: A reading date

It was one of those rare days off where you two were free at the same time, so you decided to spend the whole day together. "What should I wear?" you opened your closet, unsure of what clothes you should wear out today. Luckily, Nanami was a patient man, going so far to reassure you that it would be a slow day for the both of you, and to take your time. "But if you'd like, I can help" the blonde offered. You happily let him assist you, both of you deciding on a dress you have gotten last summer, but haven't had the opportunity to wear yet.

True to his word, the day would be slow and relaxing. Kento took you out to the new cafe near a bookstore. It was a lucky pick for you two, as the cafe was connected to the bookstore. Before ordering some tea and fingerfood, you two have roamed the store and gotten each a book you have been dying to read. You two spent the day in comfortable silence, reading your new favorite novel.

Toji x Yves: spending the day at an onsen

"My muscles hurt" grumpled Toji after streching. He's been complaining a lot more about his muscles aching lately, especially after coming home from work. There is so only so much you can do to soothe his pain, having massaged his back every evening for the past week. Which is why you secretly planned a one day trip to an onsen for the two of you!

So you convinced Toji to go with you. You arrived at a beatiful bath house in the country side of Japan. You and Toji bathed all day, relaxing and rewinding from your usually busy days.
