Cait x reader [Anget->fluff]
Synopsis: She always said you where above the girls she snuck into her room, then why wont she put a label on the two of you?
ooc Cait i think but like I didnt know how to finish this
"God I'm loosing my mind" you mumble to yourself as you prime a canvas, for a date night that might not even happen. 'what's the point' you think while putting your stuff away, you planned a nice date night for you and Cait, but now your just questioning if she even loves you like you assume she does, I mean- actions do speak louder then words.. right?
When Caitlyn eventually arrives, coming in through your window because due to her status, nobody really knows about your 'relationship'- well your dog knows but he doesnt count.
"Hey Princess" she hugs and kisses you softly, hiding something behind her back "Hey Cait.." you say awkwardly, mind still dwelling on how she might not love you "Oh Princess? what's wrong?" she places your surprise down on your bed and hugs you comfortingly. Your lip starts to quiver "I-- I feel like m' crazy because" you hesitate, she rubs your back and traces shapes into your side "hey you can tell me anything you know me.." Cait leads you to her bed and continues to comfort you, whispering sweet nothings into your ear "Caitlyn do you really love me?" you whisper, nervous--obviously her breath hitches âPâplease let me figure it outâ you tear up and she lays with you on your bed âPrincess why would you ask me that? Of course I love youâ you look away from her âThen why don't I feel it?â she struggles to answer you "y/n you know its hard for m--" "yeah well its hard for me too Cait! You have to tell her!" you argue before she can even start on her spiel again "Caitlyn she probably will disapprove but she'd put up with it! She literally has all this time! She's walked in on us cuddling so many times Cait! It is so painfully obvious that you like girls! or at least me.." you quiet down after a little bit, breathing heavily out of frustration and sadness.
Cait stays silent, she knows your right, she knows that her mother will.. reluctantly love her still, but she just doesn't understand why she cant just tell her mom outright, she always just thought that her parents would get the hint and not bother her about it but she was scared, she knew they didn't care as long as she carried out the Kiramman bloodline but she was scared that they would force her to leave you--force you out of her life. She sighs "I know I do okay? Just because I haven't doesn't mean I don't love you--" "you love me..?" she sees even more tears welling up in your eyes moving to wipe them before they can even fall "why would I not?" you feel gentle kisses being pressed all over your face, as well as Cait mumbling 'perfect' over and over again
with a huff you pull away "Cait, who was it that said a white wall may seem empty" you take a breath and Cait plays with your hair "But its ready to be filler, and in its readiness needs nothing, it stands complete" you finish "hm.. whoever it was is right, just because something seems empty doesn't mean its not complete" you giggle at her cluelessness "It was you Cait.. you told me that strange poem but it makes me wonder, if your ready, ready to be happy with me" you look into her eyes, her pupils dilated as she stares back with love "I'm ready Princess,..." without hesitation you push your soft lips against hers, your strawberry chap stick mixing with her vanilla "tomorrow, I promise I'll do it tomorrow" she says a bit breathlessly as she lets go of the kiss "Pinky promise" you childishly stick your pinky finger to her and she intertwines the two and locks it in with your thumbs touching, she then kisses your hand "Pinky promise"
--
The very next day, Cait fulfilled her promise and snuck you into her house, she wanted you to officially meet her parents, as her girlfriend :)

Blanket 11 (Yarn 1 | Yarn 2 | Pattern)
The last time I had posted about his blanket I had just started the second pattern repeat and I'm about finished said second pattern repeat. Which puts me half way through my planned rows.
I had bought 4 balls of the multicoloured yarn to be safe for my planned 4 repeats and. I'm mayyybeee half way done with my second ball of yarn. I might go to 5 repeats just to use a bit more of this yarn but not any more than that. This pattern looks so good and my mom is incredibly happy with how it looks but holy shit is single crochet colourwork boring and takes forever.
#crochet#yarn crafts#crochetblr#i don't go here often enough to know the tags for crochet tbh#i gotta find an audio book or something for this project. i'm not good enough at crochet to not give this most of my attention#it's finally cold enough to work on this without dying of heatstroke!!!! yippee!!!#i told my mom when i started it that it would probably take at least a year to finish this#but every time i work on Anything. she asks when her blanket will be done lmaoo#i can only do so much at a time tho. crochet hurts my thumbs for some reason#the temps are going to get under freezing soon. which is perfect to need a blanket on my lap for my arthritised knees

And he was happy. But never the happiest.
Naomi couldnât count how many calls she had made but the wetness in her cheeks is proof of how frustrated she already is. âPlease, pick up.â She bit the inner side of her cheeks, tapping her feet on the tiled floor. Naomi regrets what she did. She regretted that she still proceeded despite knowing how wrong it was.
She warned herself not to be greedy at the beginning of their relationship. She remembered telling him theyâd take it step by step, not rushing anything because they were determined to make it work. Now that sheâs thinking about it, maybe heâs only determined because he wanted to forget about you so badly.
âMom, please. He threw me out.â Naomi spoke on the phone, tapping her feet as she stood in the middle of her room with her things around her. She took all the things necessary and left. Satoru would probably put everything she left in the trash but thatâs the least of her concern right now. She lost everything she had with Satoru and itâs all because of her stupidity.
âWhat did you expect? You sexually assaulted my son and you want me to help you?â The woman hissed at her. Naomi was naive; thinking that sheâll have her back just because she wanted her for Satoru. âIf anything I could even get you arrestedââ She began but Naomi was quick to defend herself.
âYouâre part of this. Didnât you basically tell me to use a child to keep your son?!â Tears of anger pooled in her eyes as her hands shook in fear, fury, and heartbreak. Naomi remembered when Satoruâs mom would free her schedule so she could spend time with him and Yui. She would suggest activities and let Naomi tag along and thatâs how they started to fall for each other.
Or rather, thatâs how she started to fall for him while he just wanted an escape.
âBut I never told you to do that to my son! Naomi, do you really think someone would side with you on this?â Every corner of Naomiâs room felt like they were closing in on her, ready to squeeze her till she was nothing but dust. Of course, no one would be with her. No matter what Satoruâs mother told her, she still chose to follow it so the blameâs on her.
âFor someone who finished school with flying colors, your mind is dull.â She chuckled, letting Naomi hear all she truly is. âYou got a pretty face, you know? Thatâs another reason why you caught Satoruâs eyes easily.â At that point, Naomi didnât know if it was still a compliment. Sheâs pretty and kind, and smart and perfect for him, like she said. But why canât she have all of him?
âBut Iâm afraid that pretty face would be useless now. If I were you Iâd go start over alone somewhere far.â She clicked her tongue, cutting Naomiâs thoughts off every time she tried to voice them out. âLike, imagine graduating only to get jailed over some dumb, desperate shit? Naomi, you screwed up. And thatâs why you lost all chances with my son.â
Naomi shook her head, the warmness of her emotions dampened the smooth skin of her face. âNo, you made meâŠâ She breathed out, covering her mouth before running her fingers through her hair. âI didnât want to do thatâŠNo.â She bawled and bawled but the line only went more and more silent.
She fucked up and sheâs right. The shame and the loss of self-respect are not something she could live through in this city. She must go, she must leave. Like how they always did when she was a kid; fleeing the scene with her embarrassment of a family who canât live without humiliating them. They have no decent source of living so they gotta strive.
Now, sheâs doing all of it again, all while losing all of it. Again.
âSave yourself. I wonât let them know of your plan. After all, you were once of help to my child. Iâm truly sorry.â With that, the call ended; with Naomi sitting on the floor as she put a balled hand over her throbbing chest, and the thought of going away to start as someone new settled in the middle of her head. Naomi learned a lot from all the troubles she went through.
This time, she learned that you could have someone's body but their heart could still be somewhere else.
â-------------------------------------------------
âWhat is it?â Satoru heard through the phone speaker. Taking a deep breath, he shut his eyes, letting relief flood his veins and calm his shaking flesh. âWhen are you free?â There was a long pause before Satoruâs father replied, âYou know I can make time.â Clearing his throat, Satoru massaged his temples, thanking the heavens that his nightmares werenât real.
âLetâs meet later if thatâs alright.â He whispered, scared that his voice would break. Satoru knows that he is the only link between the relationship of his parents. Just like how his older brother wouldâve been the connection his father was hoping to keep his first, real love close. Until they got tired of it all; the matters brought by his mother. And him.
Just like how she drained Satoru out. And right now he just wanted to run away from her too.
âOf course, just send me the exact time.â Satoru nodded as if his father could see him, âAre you alright?â He asked after a few seconds as if sensing the trouble from his sonâs voice. âYeah, much better now, at least.â Satoru rubbed his eyes as he shook his head, eyeing the negative results of the vaginal swab test. âDad, Mom canât know.â
Heâs almost sure that the request would prompt questions from his father, knowing that heâs aware of how close he is to his Mom. But he was surprised when he simply agreed, murmuring an âOkay.â before letting his son end the call. Satoru pictured him on his office chair as he nodded away, brows furrowed with worry like he always is when it comes to family matters.
When Satoru was a child, his nanny would tell him that his father wasnât always so workaholic when his ex-wife was still there, co-parenting with him. After she ran away and left, his father started to immerse himself in work more. He knows that he tried with his mother since they were already there and married. But it was just never the same.
His father was happy with them. But he could never be the happiest again.
Leaning back on the chair, he put a hand over his eyes and let his frustrations stream down his cheeks. He let out a shaky sigh, grabbing the papers before looking at them in a brighter light. Itâs negative. Nothing happened. You woke him up just in time. He tapped on Naomiâs contact, quickly typing his last message before attaching a photo of the results.
âIâm mailing the rest of your things tomorrow.â It only took a minute for her to respond with an apology but Satoru doesnât care anymore to read it. He blocked the number as soon as he made sure that she received and read the message. He doesnât want to be anywhere near her.
He knows he is wrong for not telling her about his feelings as soon as he can. But that doesnât equal what she did to him and what she almost got them into. Satoru checked the clock before sending the time to his father, hoping to end all of this mess before the mess ended him.
His mother has been calling him nonstop, and he always had to pretend that he was not home during the previous days. He stayed in watching movies with his little girl, sending you videos and pictures every now and then. He slept in her room during those days, a desperate attempt to calm his brain down. His head hurts from overthinking.
Putting the papers back into the envelope, Satoru took it with him to his room. He made sure to put it in his bedside drawer, just in case some other shit comes up. If this happened before, heâd probably think that Naomi is not that kind of person. But after what she did to him, all of the trust and admiration she has for her went to waste.
Changing into something more comfortable, Satoru tried to take a quick nap. He doesnât want to look this tired when he meets his father. Heâd probably convince him to get a general checkup just to make sure that nothing was wrong. Satoru knows that if it werenât for him, his father wouldnât ever put up with his mom. Heâd probably spend his whole life searching for his ex-wife.
A few hours of nap felt like nothing because when Satoru woke up, he still felt tired. The only difference is his heartbeat doesnât sound like itâs trying to come out of his chest anymore unlike when he was waiting for the results. A little progress is still progress; just like how heâs trying to make it all up to you.
If Satoruâs being honest, heâd fall down to his knees and beg you to take him back if you asked him to do it. The only thing stopping him is his brain telling him how happy you are right now and how he wouldnât want to destroy that. He canât force himself to stop thinking about you but he can force himself to move on if itâs for you.
Satoru leaned his elbows on the kitchen counter, reading a text from his father saying that he was on his way. Another text was from you; it was a picture of Yui holding up a coloring book and a crayon. He was just with her earlier but he misses her already. He wondered if he could visit when he doesnât have other things to do even if itâs not his schedule yet.
Sending a response with a small smile on his face, Satoru heard the doorbell ring, signaling his fatherâs arrival. He peeked through the spaces of his window curtains to ensure that it was him before opening the door. Satoruâs still unsure of what heâll say but he hopes that his father can give him a better solution.
Satoru thought that if he ever cut ties with his mother, itâd be for you and Yuiâs safety. He didnât think that itâd be for him too. âDad,â He gave his father a hug as he stepped in, following his son as they walked to his house. âWhatâs going on?â He asked as soon as Satoru closed the door. They walked to the kitchen, settling on one of the barstools.
âItâs because of momâŠâ He began, placing a glass pitcher atop the counter.
â---------------------------------------
âSmile~ Weâll send this to Dada.â You cooed, pointing at the camera as you tried to take a picture of your daughter. At first, she didnât want to do it, wanting nothing but to play with her book and crayons but when she heard that her Dad wanted to know about it, she got real creative with the pose. âYou donât listen to Mama, anymore.â You pouted at her as you hit send.
She scrunched her nose, sticking out her tongue at you before picking on her colors. You still canât forget how dead Satoru looked when he dropped Yui off. You wondered what he talked about with his mother that caused him to be like that. Even with the soft tone of his voice, you could hear roughness that probably came from the lack of sleep.
If it concerns you, then you definitely have to know. His mother probably said something bad about you, but you doubt that itâs affecting Satoru by how he was talking and looking at you. He just looked so done with all of it, but even so, there was still a tender look in his eyes when they met yours.
You sighed while looking at your phone as you waited for a text from Toji. Heâs been so busy with work lately, youâre just glad that you already talked about your problems. You had a feeling that it wouldnât end well had it stayed unsaid for a couple more days. It wasnât completely back to normal, but at least, youâre both trying to make it better for each other.
âI would try,â He whispered to your ear as he hugged you from behind, âI canât promise not to think of herââ You turned around, looking up at him with a solemn look in your eyes, âIâm not asking you to not think of her, thatâd be selfish of me.â He nodded, kissing your forehead, âAlright, what I mean is, I wonât make any comparisons.â You hummed.
âI need you to stop worrying about Satoru and I.â You put your head on his chest, âI know itâs easier said than done, but I just want you to know that I am with you.â Your fingers traced figured on his skin, âIâm keeping that in mind.â He placed his cheek on top of your head, sighing deeply as he let go of you.
âIâm taking Megumi to my Momâs.â He pushed your hair back with his fingers, making your eyes flutter close as you felt his face get closer to yours and his breath ghosting on your lips. âIâll see you later.â He pecked your lips, âTake care, I love you.â He murmured as he gave you a long kiss, before turning to get their stuff.
One thing that you notice about Toji is that he never waits for you to say anything back. You donât want to take the words lightly, but that doesnât mean that you donât feel the same way as him. You still have a long way to go, and you donât want to rush anything. When you mention it to him, he just says that he needs you to hear it.
âMama, look!â Your daughter pulled you out of your head as she showed you a picture of a cat, âDada buy Yui.â You looked closely at the picture, laughing as you realized that she was talking about the cake that they ate. âYeah, you're right! That's what Dada bought you!.â You patted her head as she giggled.
âYui, baby. Did meemaw come to see you?â You held her small hands, trying to keep her attention to you. âNo. No meemaw.â She pulled at your hair gently, trying to color it with her crayons. âWhat aboutâŠwhat about Naomi?â You canât help but chuckle as she pretended to think, eyes looking up as she pouted her lip.
âNo Naomi!â Her answer gave you a bit of an insight. You would assume that maybe she was just busy, but hearing about how Satoruâs mother reduced her workload made you doubt it. Satoru sent you tons of pictures during his time with her but you thought that Naomi just wasnât in the frame.
If the âtalkâ between her and Satoru didnât end well, you could only assume that he already told her about it. Heâs probably down because he wouldnât want to hurt her like that. With all the progress Satoru has made, you doubt that heâd be so happy to have broken a heart. She was still once a friend to him.
A heavy feeling settles in the middle of your chest, like an anchor weighing your heart down, thinking about how his mother would probably find a reason to drag you for it. But if thatâs the case, youâre sure that Satoru wouldnât let harm come to you.
With how gentle Naomi was, you couldnât think of a worse thing to happen.
ââââââââââââââ
âWhat did she do this time?â His father looked away, clicking his tongue. If one would ask Satoru, his parents wouldâve probably divorced years ago if it werenât for him. His father knows how he is with his mother, and the thought of giving him a hard time switching between the two of them pained him.
Satoru wished that he thought about it too before he decided to go and selfishly start over with someone else. Your words the night he confessed to you echoed in his head. He came to a realization that you probably wanted to ask him to come back but held yourself back as he let you know how happy he was with Naomi.
And he was happy. But just like his father, he was never the happiest.
âI donât really know how to open this up to youâŠâ He bit his lip, ââŠBut I just want this to be over, Dad.â Satoru felt so vulnerable at that moment. The only time he had a talk this serious with his Dad was when he found out about your pregnancy. It was just more of a news, unlike right now, which is a call for help.
âNaomiâŠMom and Naomi talked aboutâŠâ His fatherâs eyes coaxed him as if sensing his distress. âNaomi tried toâŠâ Shaking his head, Satoru breathed out. âNaomi wanted to conceive. Because our relationship was falling apart.â He can see his Dadâs brows pull together to a scowl, probably getting a hint of what happened.
âShe talked to Mom about it and sheâŠâ The man sat up straight, bouncing his leg like he already knew what his wife did. âShe said Mom brought up the thing about how you and him got together.âIt was hard to talk about this to his father, knowing how sensitive it can be for him. âNaomi told me about it. I recorded it, just in caseââ
âSatoru, what did your girlfriend do?â Satoru looked down, fingers fidgeting like he was a kid again. âAnd your motherâs involved? What happened?â Rubbing his face, Satoru threw away all his fears. If heâs not going to fix these problems, then who will? âShe got me drunk, and then she tried to sleep with me.â He blinked fast, watching his fatherâs face.
âI heard her talking to Mom on the phone, and I took it from her. Thatâs how I found out that she played a part in all of it.â It was hard for him to accept. The person he used to protect, the one he always tried to understand was the same person who betrayed and put him in this position; the position that also made his father the person he is today.
Another long silence surrounded them. His fatherâs hand was balled into a fist, covering his mouth as he blankly stared at the marble surface. âWhereâs Naomi?â His father pulled out his phone, and Satoru could tell just what he was about to do. âI donât know. Iâm sending her things away. Iâm cutting her off. Iâm filing a protective order against her and momââ
Satoru didnât get to finish his sentence before his father spoke again, probably finally taking in the information he just provided him. âIâm divorcing your mother.â His mouth fell half-open. His voice was low, serious, and full of all the grief that heâs been feeling for years ever since he lost his first wife and son. âAnd Iâm sending that woman to jail.â He added, raising a finger.
âThereâsâŠI donât want that.â He breathed out, earning a questioning look from his dad. âYou donât have to send her to jail. IâŠI messed up if I just told her that I still have feelings for Y/N, then she wouldnât have resorted to that. She wouldnât have talked to Mom and this wouldnât have happened.â He stood up, leaning on the counter as he squeezed his eyes shut.
Satoru thought about it too when he caught her in the act. But after some reflection, he realized his shortcomings, his mistake of not just telling her about what was really going on. Even though there was no excuse for what she did, Satoru canât help but feel like heâs the one who caused all of this to happen. And he probably really is; a victim of his foolish choices.
âBut other than that, I donât want Y/N and Yui to be caught up in this. I donât want to expose them to this kind of problem, theyâve been through so much because of me already. I just want to do better this time.â Thinking about dragging you into another mess made Satoru feel weak. He promised to make it up to you, and heâd do anything to prove that.
His father put his phone down on the table, taking in a deep breath just to calm himself. âBut youâre not stopping me from divorcing your mother.â Satoru doesnât know if itâs right to agree to that. It felt like he was encouraging the separation of his parents; celebrating his motherâs heartbreak.
But his fatherâs been suffering heartbreak for years. Itâs only fair to set him free.
âItâs up to you. IâŠâ Satoru shook his head, sure of the decision he was about to make. â...I donât think I can just forgive and forget what she did. Itâs not something small, and Iâm not a kid anymore, Dad.â His eyes itched, ready to let his tears go any minute. âI donât even know if I still want to be associated with her.â He turned away, sighing as he blinked away his pain.
When he and Naomi went for the examination, he made her spill all the details regarding the said conversation with his mother. It took everything in him not to fly into a rage while breaking down as he heard of it. All this time, his mother saw him as a pawn to keep his father, regardless of whose life she was tearing down; Satoruâs, his father's ex-wife, and his first son.
âI wanted to take you away when you were a kid.â His father admitted, looking ahead as he reminisced of the decisions he made. âI wanted to just take you and raise you with your brother. Of course, with the hopes of getting my ex-wife back.â He leaned back, tapping on the screen of his phone. The bitter tone in his voice canât be missed.
âThat was my plan when I found out about you. But when you were about a year and a half old, she disappeared. All I knew was she wasâŠtired; drained of all the chaos that our son and her were exposed to. What with having to co-parent with me as I was with your mother.â His eyes played the emotions he chose to hide away many years ago.
âI know you know about this. She and I got divorced. I thought it was over for us, I thought I made the right decision to turn away and try another start. And I was dating your mother. Then we had you.â His arms were crossed and Satoru could almost see the similarities between his feelings to how he used to feel about yours and his relationship.
âThen, realization came running for me; haunting me in my sleep. I was ready to get her back again, but it was too late. She was already gone.â Satoru absently poured water for his Dad, listening intently to his story. âSo, I felt like the only thing to do was to marry your Mom. I reminded myself that still have you, I canât just spiral down.â He smiled at Satoru.
âI tried to convince, tried to brainwash myself that itâd be fine. That I could learn to love her and I did. Just not the kind of love that lovers have.â If his mother could hear his Dad right now, sheâd get shattered. Satoru doesnât want to see that, but she would have to. She has to understand that sheâs putting this man through.
âI loved her because she loves me; because she cares for you and me.â Leaning over to pick up his glass, he looked his son in the eyes. âBut true love is unconditional, Satoru. It should not have a reason.â He took a sip, pursing his lips before continuing. âReasons might vanish, and when it does, so will the love you feel for that person.â
In the middle of it all, Satoru could only think of you. Why does he love you? When did he realize that he loves you? How did it happen? He doesnât have an answer for it. He cannot find a reason for it. He doesnât remember loving you just because you put up with him, he doesnât remember falling for you just because of the life you created together.
All that he knows is that one day, he woke up and he already knew that he was in love with you. Like heâs been doing it for years; like thatâs all heâs ever known.
â-------------------------------------------------
âIâll keep in contact with you regarding the proceedings.â Satoruâs father spoke on the phone, stepping inside his mansion and smiling at his helpers. He asked Satoru if he wanted to have a word with his mother but the thought of having to look at her after what she tried to make his ex-girlfriend do makes him feel dizzy.
âHoney, youâre home.â The woman tried to welcome him with a kiss and open arms but he quickly turned his head, rejecting her. âCome up to my office, we got something to talk about.â The mask of a loving wife was quickly covered with fear and dread.
âWhat about in our room? So, you can rest.â She nodded her head once, trying to coax him but he was tired of closing his eyes and numbing his heart from feeling the pain and regret of having to lose the love of his life for the comfort that this woman offered him before. âIn my office. Itâs not a small matter that I could sleep on.â
Leaving the woman baffled, he made his way upstairs, not waiting for her to walk beside him. There was a deafening silence in the big room, save from the footsteps of her husband and the door of his office slamming with such force that it sent a crack in her heart.
She took a deep breath and ran her palm on top of her dress, thinking of all the reasons she could give him just to prove her innocence. She didnât want any of that to happen. She didn't think that Naomi could be so dumb as to come up with such a heinous and unpleasant plan.
That wasnât even what she did to Satoruâs father. It was just working to keep them together. And thatâs why Satoru came.
With her found determination, she held her head high. Swallowing the terror rising up her throat as she let her thoughts convince her that she did nothing wrong. She never explicitly told Naomi to do that, sheâs the one who schemed that. Thereâs nothing to be afraid of.
She walked up the stairs, caressing the smooth, cold surface of the handrail. Satoru wouldn't allow anything to happen to her. Heâs her boy, her pride and joy. Heâs the only ally she had when his father was openly pushing her away.
Satoru wouldnât just ruin what she and his father had because of baseless information from his sick girlfriend. Entering the office, the man sat on his swivel chair. Forehead pressed to the heel of his hand. âWhat is it, dear?â She smiled sweetly at her husband, appearing unaware of what he had in mind.
Oh, how she wished she was just unaware of it all. She wished that she didn't know what the problem was. She wished it wasnât what she thought it was and that she was just overthinking because of howâ âI want a divorce.â Those four words halted the spinning of her world.
âWhat?â She raised her brows, checking if it was just her mind playing tricks on her and making her hallucinate. âI want a divorce. And I want it as soon as possible.â His eyes no longer held any emotions towards her; no sadness, bitterness, fading love. None. Not even pity.
âListen, honey, I didnât think that Naomi would doââ She took quick steps towards him, hoping to get him to listen. âSo, you knew about it?â He glared at her, âYou knew about it and you didnât tell me anything?â He shook his head, and she could only open her mouth.
âDoesnât matter. Satoru told me everything.â He stood up from his seat, towering over her as he stared her down. âItâs nothing like thatââ She breathed out, panicking. âIâm not really interested in what you told Naomi. Iâm just thankful that my sonâs safe.â He stepped away from her.
âWhat I want to do right now, is to be free from this.â Itâs over for her. All the alibis that she was composing, thinking of for this moment are useless. He doesnât need an explanation, this was simply the final push that he needed to kick her out of his life. And probably out of Satoruâs too.
âPlease, donât do this. Weâre already too old toââ She tried to grab his hand and he only grabbed it with the other to put it away. âYouâre right. Weâre too old, our sonâs too old for me to still pretend that we want to be in this position.â Shaking her head, she stepped in front of him, blocking his way. âPlease, listen. I wouldnât do something that could harmââ
âI know,â His voice was calm. âOf course, to harm him wasnât your intention, right?â She nodded eagerly, thinking that he was finally listening to her. âBut you wanted to decide for him. You got in between him and Y/N, then pushed this woman on him because you thought you knew best for your son.â Tears fell down her eyes, and she lost all hope.
âNow, look at what you did to him.â He gritted his teeth, stepping forward to get her out of his way. âBut this is not just about our son anymore. This is also about me, finally choosing to do what I shouldâve done a long time ago.â Opening the door, he spoke to her one last time. âAll you have to do is sign. The actions that your son will take is all up to him.â
With that, he left her with all of the nightmares of their past coming back. How he only wanted the best for his sons, how he wanted to take full custody of Satoru, how he wanted to get back together with his ex-wife, and how he only married her because she was gone. She was never the first option. She was never the original pick.
She wasnât chosen, she just happened to be already there.
âââââââââââââ
âHey,â You heard Satoru speak as Toji opened the door for him, nodding. This was kind of similar to how they first saw each other but youâre just glad that this time, itâs a lot calmer. Megumi ran to his father, peeking up at Satoru as he waved at him.
âYui, your Dadaâs here.â Toji left the door open to let Satoru in. Megumi was holding onto his pants, staring back at Satoru. âYui Dada,â He picked his toy up, staring at a distance before walking closer to him. âBlue!â You laughed from the kitchen, as you packed some snacks for the little girl.
Today, youâre going to the zoo as Yui requested. The animal drawings from her coloring book got her asking you to call her Dada late at night, just to babble about it. âHeâs referring to your eyes,â Toji spoke as he went back to the living room to pick up some of the toys.
âMegumi, itâs not good to point at people, what did I tell you?â He warned the toddler as he went back to your room, eyes meeting yours as you made your way to Yui's room. âAh, yes. Yui and I have the same eyes.â Satoru smiled at the child.
âDada!â Yui ran towards him, stomping her shoes extra hard to show him how they light up with dancing colors. âWoah! Did Mama buy you those shoes?â He opened his arms, urging the little girl to run to him and she happily did, giggling as she nodded. âItâs awesome!â You smiled at how he tried to flatter his child, encouraging her to do a little jump.
âWhere are we going today?â You asked her in a playful tone as you put the lunch bags on the coffee table in front of them. âZoo!â You watched a Satoru give her a sincere smile, patting her hair gently while complimenting her little butterfly clips. âIâm sure Megumiâs been to the zoo before.â He poked the little boy's tummy.
âYeah. Animals. Bears and lions.â He stood behind you, peeking at Satoru as he talked. Megumi isnât usually shy, but he doesnât easily warm up to people. âWe went there on his second birthday.â You almost jumped at Tojiâs voice behind you as he picked up his child. âHeâs a smart kid.â Satoru answered with a friendly smile.
âYou guys should come. If you want..â It surprised you that he was initiating something like that. Although, you know that Toji wouldnât be so comfortable with that and would most likely reject the offer, itâs still nice to see that Satoruâs trying to make an effort to get along with him.
âThatâd be nice but his grandma's waiting for him,â Toji answered, chuckling awkwardly. âDada work,â Megumi added, earning a hum from his Dad. Making sure that the bag is packed with everything Yui needs, you zipped it up. âYou ready to go now?â You tapped the toddlerâs cheek, feeling Satoruâs gaze at you.
âAlright, letâs get going.â Standing up with his daughter in his arms, he took the bag from your hands. He put the toddler down to hug her friend goodbye, before walking hand in hand with her outside. You laughed at how she kept squealing with each step she took, looking up to see her Dadâs reaction.
âYou guys have fun, alright? Iâll just lock the doors before we go.â Toji pulled you to him, giving you a kiss. âIâll be back later.â You put your hand around his neck, standing on your tippy toes before pecking his neck. With that, you walked out the door to join your toddler who was patiently waving at you from her car seat.
âOkay, itâs zoo time!â You wiggled your brows at her as you slammed the door shut, making her giggle. You checked your face in the mirror, trying to ignore Satoruâs soft eyes as he watched you. âHow are you?â You tried to start a conversation but it was quickly interrupted as you searched around for your daughterâs binky.
âMaybe we left it inside,â Satoru spoke, opening Yuiâs bag to help you find it. âYui, where did you put it?â Remembering how she placed it on the coffee table as she showed off her outfit to her father, you started to unbuckle your seatbelts but Satoru stopped you. âItâs alright, Iâll get it.â He was already stepping out of the car before you could stop him.
Satoru jogged up your steps, knocking a few times before proceeding to open the door. Toji was just about to open it for him when he entered, âItâs Yuiâs pacifier. She left it.â He put on the most polite smile he could muster, wanting nothing but to get rid of the awkwardness between them if they were both going to be in your life.
âOh, alright. I thought it was someone else.â Toji let out a rather awkward chuckle, not knowing how else to react or what else to say. But just as Satoru uttered âthanksâ, Toji remembered the thing heâs been thinking of for almost a week now. âUh, Satoru,â He called, making him pause as he held the door open.
Her brows raised, waiting for him to say something. Toji doesnât know if youâd be happy about this but itâs better than just letting his feelings, thoughts, and opinions all pile up inside of him. This is for you and Yui. Not just for him.
âIâve been thinking about our situation with Y/N and⊠I was wondering if you could set aside a bit of your time for a chat?â

It was about time I finished this, been sitting in my drive for a few months. Anyway, this is a general headcanon that takes place mostly in my Modern Au as Mayumi will appear in future along with her bio. But she may appear in my "Toji Lives" au depending how I'm really feeling, I will probably age her up if I do.
If you has questions or wanna ask more about her, feel free to drop an ask in my inbox!
Introducing:
Name: Mayumi (L/N) Fushiguro
Kanji Name: äžćȘäž
Age: 2-3(Modern Au)
Given how Toji is a dog 25/8 whenever heâs given any alone time with you, Megumi is genuinely surprised he and Tsumiki donât have at least two or more younger siblings.
It mostly comes down to you and Tojiâs schedules and how having another child or having more children wouldnât be the best choice for you two and the kids themself.
It was decided by you AND Toji that Megumi would be your last child since baby Megumi was a hassle and you two were dealing with two kids under the age of three. As time went on, raising the two was hard work but both of you two managed. Now Tsumiki and Megumi are in high school and can function, thereâs no need for you and Toji to treat them like children even though they will always be your babies.
But with Tsumiki and Megumi always away at school, itâs mostly you and Toji at home. Yes, it was nice and peaceful to have your house with you and your hubby. But you start longing for the days your children were younger and small. Missing when Megumi would call you Mama and Tsumiki with Mommy. You become all sentimental especially looking through family pictures throughout the house and the family albums. You started to miss having to take care of a little one in the house.
Toji notices this change in your behavior so he asks what's on your mind. When you tell him you missed your children being children, he suggested having one more child. This shocked you considering that Toji told you himself that Megumi was your twoâs last child. He didnât want to have any more after that because Megumi was a handful. You told him if heâs not comfortable and isnât ready for another one that he shouldnât force himself just to make you happy. Youâll just satisfy it with old baby pictures from the past.
You didnât want to have a child just because you wanted a baby to coddle and thatâs it. All children deserve to have a parent but not every parent deserves a child. But Toji brings up the point that both you and him are more stable, both financially and mentally, and have more time to be at home. Since your two other children are teenagers who can do basic functions, you can focus on taking care of a child while taking care of teenagers.
After some time and Toji being the little devil on your shoulder, you gave the green light to have another child. Albeit being the last child you and Toji will ever have.
Toji is excited to have another kid with you and to give Tsumiki and Megumi a younger sibling. But we all know why Toji is REALLY happy to give you another child. As the man got to stepping in making you pregnant and having another kid. This man put so many creampies in you itâs insane.
But you guessed the universe wanted to make it easier the third time because, like all of your pregnancies which is only two, you got pregnant fast. It only took a month of trying to get pregnant. Just like any pregnancy, it was rough. It was your third time so you expected whatâs to come, though it had been 12 years since you were last pregnant. But Toji, being your ever loving husband, took care of you and was at your beck and call(Explain in detail here). Your scary, intimidating, and grumpy dog of a husband becomes your sweet and protective puppy all over again(if Toji wasnât fucking already lol).
You wanted to wait until a visible ultrasound was possible to tell your two children. Luckily, Megumi and Tsumiki would be home right after school ends and you would tell them the news. After dinner, you told your two children to wait a bit at the table as you got the ultrasound thatâs sealed in an envelope. As you just place the envelope in front of your kids, they look at it curiously. Toji chuckles as Megumi flips the envelope on both sides before Tsumiki grabs it from her brother.
âSo we opened it, Mom? Whatâs inside?â
âYouâll find out once you open it, my dear.â
Then Tsumiki opens the envelope and finds the picture. She takes it out and holds it so she and Megumi can look at it. It took Tsumiki a few seconds to figure out as her smile extended. Megumi is still confused when his sister says, âAre you really, mom?!â
You nodded your head as Tsumiki stood up from her chair and gave you a hug. Megumi was still trying to wrap his head around the picture. Toji chuckles at his son as he walks over to him. âAre you okay, Megumi? Youâve been staring at that picture like it was a puzzle.â âI donât know what Iâm supposed to be looking at. How come Tsumiki got it before I did?â Tsumiki goes to Megumi as she starts explaining the picture. Before she even finishes, your son looks at you with wide eyes as he blurts out, âYouâre pregnant, Mom?!â
Toji bursts out in laughter at Megumi while you smile at your son. You were happy that your children felt the same way you did, especially seeing Megumi smile. You were worried about the age gap between your children and their youngest sibling but it seems to not be a problem to your kids.Â
You loved the fact your children were happy about having another sibling.
Ever since the announcement, Megumi has been home more often. While your children have been more considerate(if they werenât already), Megumi had this shift in behavior that made you a little worried. Once you were in your 2nd trimester, Megumi always tried to be home before sundown. He always called you after school if you needed anything from the grocery or convenience store. He was very reluctant to leave you alone. At home, he always checks up on you whether youâre in the bedroom, sitting on the couch, in your home office/personal rooms.Â
As much as Megumi says he doesnât take after his dad, you thought it was adorable and endearing how Megumi looked after you like Toji did. Because of your already fluctuating hormones, you dote and gush over Megumi way more than usual. You didnât before because you wanted to respect Megumiâs space and independence. Always playfully pinching his cheeks, giving your mama kisses, petting and ruffling his hair, the list goes on. Megumi never pushes you away or rejects your affection because you are his mama and it makes you happy. Itâs also because Megumi loves your affection as it reminds him of when he was a little boy, but since heâs older he wants to be taken more seriously and wants you and Toji to treat him as such. Yet it bit him in the ass because you respected his wishes and only gave him physical affection when he gave the green light.
Megumi, every time heâs home, is stuck at your side. Youâre in the kitchen making yourself a drink, Megumi is sitting at the table already. On the couch folding a small laundry batch, Megumiâs helping you with it. Sitting in the garden underneath the tree, Megumi makes you sit on the blanket as sits beside you with his dogs laid out in the shade. The only time he isnât is when youâre in the bathroom or sleeping in your bedroom. But Megumi sends his dogs to watch over you during your naps. Bro, Toji told Megumi to make room for him on the couch just for him to side-eyes his dad and say ânoâ. Then Megumiâs dogs appear next to you and lay their heads on your lap. Toji was so annoyed.
But you didnât know how concerned Megumi was for you until you Gojo called you and said Megumi wanted to opt out of dorming his first year at Jujutsu Tech. You asked Gojo if Megumi said why and Gojo only said, âMegumi-kun only told me he just canât, (Y/N)-sama.â By the time the call happened you were in your third trimester, meaning you were nearing your due date. You asked Toji if he knew but he had no clue either. You and your husband had a talk with Megumi about it. Megumi said he didnât need to dorm when heâs in high school because he could just walk to school from the house. But Toji being the better interrogator, he got Megumi to spill the real reason. And so Megumi reveals he doesn't want to dorm once he goes to Jujutsu Tech because he wants to help out around the house and watch his little sibling grow up.Â
âMegs, you know Iâm home, right?â
Megumi looks at his father before continuing.
âAs I was saying, I need to be here in my little sisterâs life. I donât want to be a stranger because she canât remember me, Mom.â
You gave a reassuring smile to your son, placing a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
âI get it, Megumi. I completely understand where youâre coming from. But Iâll be fine, donât worry about me. I have your sister and papa after all to help me, especially your papa since he can cook anything we ask for. And know the school requires their first years to live on campus, so you do have to live on school grounds. You can always come back whenever you need to, this will always be your home, My Dear MegumiâWait, little sister? You think itâll be a girl, Megumi?â
He shrugs, causing Toji to raise his brow at him.
âYa sure, Megs? You donât think itâll be a boy? Donât you want another boy in the family?â
Megumi squints at his dad as he frowns.
âIf I know this family, your genes are too strong, Dad. Iâm a complete copy of you and Tsumiki only got Momâs personality and smile. If itâs a boy, it will be another version of you and I donât even wanna think about that. Plus, I wouldnât mind having a baby sister around, especially if she takes after Mom.â
You were flattered and honored that Megumi felt this way while Toji was utterly offended at his own son.
Megumi is a good brother and son all over. He looks after you, he looks out for Tsumiki when he can, and has a good relationship with Toji. Youâd think heâll be an amazing older brother considering how caring and gentle he can be. He may be a little clumsy but he tries and that is what matters.Â
You decided to bring Megumi and Tsumiki with you and Toji to your next ultrasound appointment. Luckily, no problems were detected for the precious Fushiguro baby. The doctor and technician also revealed that you were having a baby girl! Tsumiki is visibly happy, slightly shaking Megumi's shoulders while he had a soft smile of his own. Then you looked over at your husband to see him with a wide but genuine grin.
âWhatâs with the grin, Toji?â
âNothing, Hon. Just thinking.â
âAbout what?â
âHaving another girl to spoil~.â
Your pregnancy goes as planned. Much to the dismay of Megumi, you gave birth while they were in school. As soon as Megumi and Tsumiki walk out of the school doors, they see Toji with the car waiting for them. âCâmon you two, donât âcha want to meet your baby sister?â Tsumiki never saw Megumi sprinted towards the car so fast, whipping past her. Toji just laughs at Megumiâs eagerness to go see you and the baby.
Megumi is bouncing his leg in the car as they go to drive to the hospital. Once checking in, Megumi leaves his dad and sister in the dust to go find your room. Once he did, Megumi knocked gently before going inside with Toji and Tsumiki not far behind. Then the kids see the little baby bundled in your arms, sleeping away as you greet your older children.Â
Megumi was right because Mayumi took after you except her eye color, which was like Megumi and Toji. But everything else, she was a carbon copy of you. You joked to Toji about being even since your third child looks like you. Toji goes along with it but he canât help but feel warm inside knowing he has a daily reminder of his beautiful wife.
Megumi and Tsumiki get to hold their little sister. It was game over for Megumi because as soon as she was in his arms, heâd do anything for her. He was melting for his little sister and she didnât even know it yet.
Megumi tries to spend a lot of time with her until he has to dorm at Jujutsu Tech. Megumi gets sentimental when he sees her baby pictures then and now sheâs a toddler speaking full sentences.Â
She loves to be held or sitting in someoneâs lap. You, Toji, Tsumiki and Megumi, it doesnât matter. She just likes to be close. It took her a long time to understand personal space but she tries her best. But she mostly likes being held by Toji since heâs tall. Plus she says Toji gives nice hugs.Â
But Mayumi is picky when it comes to other people. She gets comfortable through exposure but she doesnât like other people that much. She knows the others and is fine with them, but sheâs not so much a people person. Not shy, just like a small circle.
Mayumi calls Tsumiki Miki-Nee or Tsumi Nee-san, then Mayumi calls Megumi Gumi-Nii and/or Mimi Nii-san.
Tojiâs nicknames for Mayumi are Princess, Little Lady, Sweet Pea, and Snapdragon. Sometimes he does a variation of her name like Yumi or Mayu. But those donât start coming until sheâs much older.
Toji gets bummed out that Mayumi hangs out with Megumi and is her self-proclaimed favorite person. But you always remind him that she loves all of you, including him. This is true when she gets picked up by Toji at daycare or Toji comes home and she greets him. Always a smile on her face, arms out-stretched, while saying âPapa!â
Every time Toji is doing something outside, sheâs either playing on the engawa, underneath the tree for shade, or running around and playing in the garden and the Koi pond nearby. She mostly likes watching the koi fishes swim around. She even deeps her feet into the crystal blue water as the fish gently nibble on her feet.
Sheâs also not a picky eater. Will eat anything and everything put in front of her that is seen as food. Her favorites are berries.
Mayumiâs favorite person is definitely Megumi. Toji thought it was him but he soon found out that was not the case. All because her first words werenât Mama or Papa, her first words were Gumi. Then she started walking because she saw Megumi sitting on the couch while you were making lunch with Toji and took her first steps because she wanted to be near him. Sometimes when she canât sleep, has a nightmare, or wants someone to take her to the bathroom, she usually goes to Megumi because his room is the closet. Some mornings, you would find Mayumi sleeping alongside Megumi. She usually hangs out in Megumiâs room doing her own thing or playing with his dogs. Megumi doesnât mind but only gets annoyed when heâs napping or sleeping and she wakes him up.Â
But she also hangs out in Tsumikiâs room too. Trying a new hairstyle, clothes, or playing with her stuffed animals. Tsumiki makes Mayumi into a Sanrio fan and even gives some of her plushies to Mayumi because she doesnât play with them anymore. Every morning, Mayumi goes to Tsumiki to do her hair for the day. Sometimes asking Tsumiki to put a nice hair clip or bow for her. Mayumiâs so happy once sheâs done that she shows you and Toji and itâs just so sweet oml.
She loves Megumiâs dogs and shikigamis. But her favorites are his white and black doggos. She loves playing and hugging them, always so gently with them. She likes to put ribbons on them like a collar and read to them. She would nap while laying on top of the white dogâs side and the black one is guarding her feet, making a protective circle around her. Then they allow her to grab onto them to help her practice walking. Itâs so cute.
Mayumi knocks on doors before she enters. You donât know where she picked it up from until you remember knocking on the doors yourself as you hold her. You assume she picked your habit, which turns out to be useful and courteous. Itâs always three short knocks, keeping this habit even as a teenanger.Â
Mayumi is the apple of the familyâs eye and almost everyone, even for Yuuji, Nobara, Maki, Yuuta, Toge, Panda, and fucking Hakari and Kiara. They all have a soft spot for her. The worst of them all is Satoru, proclaiming heâs her big brother to which Suguru smacks him on the hand for it. He tries to win her over but his grand gift-giving actually scares her and makes her wary of him, much to Satoruâs dismay. To which goes to my next point:
Bro, your daughter doesnât like Satoru. Itâs high-key funny. She doesnât hate him per say. Sheâs more scared and unsettled by him. One time, she started crying late at night because she had a nightmare. Megumi, with Mayumi in his arms, had to knock on your bedroom door because she was inconsolable and wouldnât tell Megumi anything. Took all three of you, and eventually Tsumiki joined in, to calm her down. She was sniffling, burying her face into your neck, gripping her little hands as tightly as she could.
âMayumi, Honey, do you feel a little better now?â
She nods into you but still holding on to you for dear life.
âCan you tell us whatâs wrong? Please, Sweetheart?â
âWhite monsterâŠThe white monster with blue-eyesâŠScary smile with pointing teethâŠâ
Tsumiki and Megumi looked at each other confused, you were just trying to figure out where she got that image from, while Toji held a frown before his eyes opened a bit upon realization. He has this goofy smile as he takes Mayumi from your arms and holds her in his own. Upon feeling being inside Tojiâs arms, she instantly relaxes and looks up at him with a pout.
âSo thereâs a monster in your bedroom, Princess? You want me and your big brother Megumi to look for any monsters?â
She looks up at him with her little pout, sniffles, and nods her head quietly. Clutching to Toji like a Koala. Toji gets up with a grunt along with Megumi and they go into her room to look for the âmonsterâ. Turning both the lights on and off along with Megumi bringing his dogs out. Mayumi watches the dogs sniff out her room, under her bed, and her closet.
âNo monster, Gumi-Nii?â
Megumi pats her head softly.
âYeah, no monsters in here, Mayumi.â
Sheâs still pouting even though Megumi confirmed no monsters while Toji rubs her back gently.
âWell Little Lady, youâre gonna sleep with Mama and I tonight so no monsters can get you. If there are, Iâll eat them.â
Mayumi giggles as he takes her into your shared bedroom to sleep peacefully for the night. Luckily she did as she snoozed away on his chest along with you tucked into his shoulder as your head rested on top of its side.
The next day, Satoru, Suguru, Shoko, Nanami, Haibara, and Yaga came to your house to talk about something. As they were discussing in your personal office, Mayumi knocks and she comes in to be held by you. While being held by you, you feel Mayumi shifting in your arms. You look down as she looks at Satoru with wary eyes. She clutches closer to you as she whines. Satrou looks over at her and smiles, causing her to hide into you further. By then, you noticed Satoru didnât bring his blindfold. He brought his glasses instead so you could see the glimpses of his eyes. As soon Mayumi caught a glimpse of his eyes, she started getting uncomfortable and whining. Youâre worried as you try to calm her down but nothing works. Then Toji comes in with the pitcher of water you asked for and she makes grabby hands at him. Your husband takes her in his arms and she points at Satoru while sniffling, making everyone, including you curious.
âWhatâs wrong this time, Mayumi?â
âPapa,âÂ
Points at Satoru
âWhite monsterâŠbig blue eyes and white teethâŠthatâs himâŠâ
Everyone blinks a couple of times except for Toji who has his dastardly grin. Then the silence is broken by Suguruâs cackling followed by Haibara bursting out in laughter. Now you understand why Toji wasnât so concerned about last night because he knew what Mayumi was talking about. The monster was random, she had a nightmare about Satoru. Nanami smirks while Yaga and Shoko chuckle at this. The only ones who werenât anything were You and Satoru. You because youâre just shaking your head at Suguru, Toji, and Haibara. While Satoru looked like a hurt puppy that was kicked. You tried to comfort your unofficial oldest child but he just stayed hurt. He let out a sigh when he and your daughter made brief eye-contact before she hid herself in Toji, causing him to bark out in laughter. His laugh joined in with the other two.Â
Toji calms down a bit before comforting Mayumi.
âPrincess, thatâs just Gojo. Heâs not a scary monster, see? Heâs harmless.â
Mayumi looks at Satoru before looking at you then Toji. She shakes her head at Toji causing him to chuckle. Mayumi says bye to everyone as she leaves the room with Toji. But Suguru wouldnât stop teasing Satoru about it and itâs an inside joke everyone is in on.
So thatâs why Satoru always wears his blindfold on because he doesnât want to make Mayumi cry. As she gets older, she gets over it and funny enough doesnât remember this event. No matter how much anyone brings it up, she canât fully remember any of it. But their relationship gets better later on.
Though Mayumiâs humble, sheâs spoiled. By you, Toji, Tsumiki, Megumi, your family, even Suguru and Satoru, specifically Satoru. Mayumi gets an allowance of 38,948 yen(which is roughly equivalent to $250 US dollars) from Satoru every month, and thatâs not including holidays and birthdays. Toji and Satoru are fighting each other on whoâs better at spoiling her to which you have to calm them down because it shouldnât be a big deal.
Mayumi gets all sad and pouty when Megumi has to live on campus but Megumi promises to call frequently or visit once a week for her. Megumi gives her his old plushies of his twin dogs, telling her to hug them when she feels like missing him. Because of that, she is overly attached to them. She sleeps with them, goes to the bathroom with them, brings them outside to the garden, goes out, they come with her everywhere she goes.
Megumi hangs a drawing she made of him and Mayumi with his dogs in his dorm room. Also has a picture frame of him and her on his desk too.
When Megumi brings Yuuji and Nobara over, they always want to play with her. Nobara dresses her up while Yuuji shadow boxes with her. When they come over to sleep over, itâs twice the fun. Yuuji and Nobara get bummed out when itâs her bedtime but they remember they see her in the morning so itâs all good.
They also help Megumi watch and babysit her when you and Toji are out on a date/outing. Itâs chaotic but itâs fun.
Toji and Megumi will be irritated and annoyed when someone, other than you and Tsumiki, asks them for anything Gojo. But once Mayumi starts asking for things, they wonât even bat an eye. She is spoiled by both her grumpy older brother and menacing father. One time you came home to see your daughter gleefully smiling at you, holding her plushie tightly as she told you about what she did with Toji and Megumi. Then you look over to see your son and husband wearing bows on their heads and had sanrio stickers all over them.
Mayumiâs such a bubbly and happy child that itâs like looking straight at the sun. Of course, she takes after you mostly both in personality and physical traits. Itâs not until sheâs in teens when Tojiâs traits start revealing themselves in her.

I thought of this at work today and I couldn't stop laughing: Imagine Dustin having an older sister who's back from college. So when they need a sub for Hellfire, he asks her because she's the one that taught him how to play in the first place. As soon as she walks in Eddie's brain short-circuits because "Jesus H. Christ Henderson, why didn't you tell me your sister was my dream girl?!?!? I would've at least brushed my hair!"
Que Dustin not sure whether he should be disgusted because his sister keeps flirting with his DM all night or excited because there is now a very strong possibility Eddie could become his brother-in-law now.
Roll for Initiative eddie munson x henderson!reader warnings: nothing much really, just fluff overall. eddie self-doubts for just a second, no use of y/n, cursing. a/n: thank you so much for requesting! I really hope you like it. reblogs and comments are very very appreciated. 2.2k words masterlist
âSo,â Mike starts talking, Dustin takes notice of his sarcastic tone. âWho the fuck do we know that secretly plays D&D and would want to sub for Lucasâ
âUm, wellâŠâ but before Dustin can get a word out Mike interrupts him.
âI mean, weâre fucked! Eddieâs gonna hate us and kick us out of Hellfire!â
âDude-â
âNo Dustin, Iâm serious! Iâm gonna kill Lucas and all his stupid new friendsâ
âMike! Do you remember what I told you earlier? About my sister?â
âUh⊠no?â he confesses.
âHonestly! Do you ever listen to me?!â Dustin claims angrily. âWhat I told you is that sheâs coming back home. And she used to play, dude!â
âAre you serious?â Mike exclaims, unable to believe their luck. He asks âWhen does she get here?â
--
Dustin's heart pounds with anticipation as he waits at the doorstep. It had been months since he last saw you, and he couldn't wait to catch up.
And as your momâs car pulls into the driveway, Dustin cannot contain his excitement. He rushes to greet you, nearly stumbling over his own feet in his haste. You step out of the car, a weary smile on your face as you spot your little brother.
"Dustin!" you exclaim, opening your arms for a hug. "You've gotten even taller since I last saw you."
âYou think so?â he asks with hope.
âOh right? Heâs turning into a whole handsome tall man already!â your mom butted into the conversation and you both cringe at her choice of words.
âUgh, I missed you!â you hug him again and he laughs.
Once youâre inside the house, Dustin wastes no time in bombarding you with stories of his D&D campaigns. He told you about the epic battles and the incredible DM the club has. You make a mental note to tease Steve as soon as you see him since heâs no longer Dustinâs coolest older friend.
âThat club sounds so fun!â
"Do you think... would you want to join our club as a sub?" he asks eagerly. "We're short one person since Lucas joined the dark sideâ
You frown in confusion and he explains. âHeâs in the football teamâ
âReally?â you ask surprised.
âYeahâŠâ he sounds disappointed. âAnyway, would you help us? Pleaseâ
âYouâre sure they wonât mind?â
âThey would be so thankful if you help us beat Eddieâs assâ
âOkay, sure thenâ you agree laughing.
--
âCome on! Weâre gonna be late!â Dustin shouts from the living room waiting impatiently for you.
âIâve been ready for like ten minutes, youâre the one whoâs taking so longâ you answer calmly, not knowing what all the fuss is about.
Meanwhile in the drama room in Hawkingâs HighâŠ
âAlright gentlemen, are we ready to start?â Eddie says as he walks in.
âUmm no, Dustinâs not here yetâ Mike stops him.
âWell, where is he?â
âHeâs probably arriving any time nowâ
âWheeler, we donât have all day-â Eddie starts complaining but the door opening abruptly interrupts him. An agitated Dustin walks in and starts apologizing, but Eddieâs not listening to him.
The club leader still frozen mid-sentence, his brain seemingly short-circuiting as he laid eyes on you, standing by the door. He stumbled over his words, his thoughts are silent but screaming at the same time. Suddenly, the room seemed smaller, the air thicker, as if a spell had been cast upon him.
However, youâre still oblivious to the effect you had over him.
âSoo, whoâs this?â Gareth finally asks after waiting for Eddie to ask that question, but he was not even moving.
âOh, this is my sisterâ Dustin starts introducing you. Eddieâs trance is broken when he hears your name, the prettiest name heâs ever heard. âSheâll sub for Lucasâ
âShe will?â Eddie asks with a hint of hope in his voice. All of the sudden hoping Lucas wonât be able to join Hellfire ever again.
The rest of the boys are waiting expectantly for Eddie to ask you all types of question until he finds an unsatisfying enough answer and heâll decide you canât sub. But he never does. So Gareth starts asking if you even know how to play D&D.
âSure she does, she was the one who taught me how to play in the first placeâ your brother steps in.
You tell the boys your level in the game and for some reason they all seem surprised. They start murmuring among each other. But you notice how the boy on the big throne leans over to your brother to whisper something. You play dumb and walk closer to them.
"Jesus H. Christ Henderson, why didn't you tell me your sister was my dream girl? I would've at least brushed my hair!" He whispers-shouts and a smile starts forming on your face.
Youâd be lying if you said he hadnât called your attention. His big puppy eyes, all the rings on his hand. You donât know why he says that about his hair, you thought it looked really good like that.
At any rate, you take a seat next to your brother, which just so happens to also be next to Eddie. Happy coincidence. And you start playing, Eddie sets the scene. He makes you imagine every single little detail so you feel like youâre actually there. He makes different voices for each character which makes you giggle. He even stands up, or leans over on the table, he talks to every single one of you, not forgetting about anyone. Itâs mesmerizing to see him like this.
âI love how passionate you getâ you comment and it makes him smile so hard.
He noticed before, every time he would change the tone in his voice to imitate a character, youâd laugh, and now he keeps changing voices just to hear it again.
âGive me the gold! He says. Or Iâll set my hungry wolves free, right this second!â Eddie acts and without failing heâs able to hear your snorts. It distracts him in the best way possible. âYou have an adorable laughâ he tells you with a smirk.
This obviously makes you giggle once more, this time with a pink blush decorating your cheeks. âThanks, itâs just- youâre cute making all the voicesâ
Now itâs Eddieâs turn to blush and smile once more.
Dustin notices this exchange âall of the other boys didâ but he canât decipher how he feels about it. On the one hand, he feels a little jealous and uncomfortable that you two keep flirting. But on the other hand, it would be really cool to have Eddie as his brother in law.
However, the game continues and so does the places Eddie takes you all to in your minds. So much so that at one point you start getting dizzy.
âWait, where are we again?â you ask.
âIn the mountains near the lakeâ Gareth answers.
âAre we close to the palace?â
âNo no, the palace is behind the woodsâ Mike explains now. They have more of an advantage than you do, they've been playing this campaign for weeks now.
âWh- Do you have a map?â You finally ask Eddie and he nods passing it to you.
âHereâs the palaceâ he comes closer and signals on the map, âand here is where you areâ
âOh, okayâ
âYou know, if youâre still lost I can stick around to guide youâ he whispers giving the closeness.
âWell, youâre the bad guy here,â you argue imagining youâre still inside the game. âHow do I know you wonât try to kill me?â
âMe?â he gasps acting offended. âI would never!â
âYou already killed Jeff!â you accuse him.
âYeah, but heâs not half as pretty as you are. Iâd miss you too muchâ he makes sure heâs whispering very close to you now, just because if Jeff heard him heâd start acting offended. Just because of that⊠no other reason.
âCan we keep playing now? My mom will be here in like ten minutes to pick me upâ Mike complains.
Those ten minutes fly by. Before you even realize it, Mikeâs mom is honking in her car to hurry him up. And so you finish for the day, starting to gather all your things.
âYou know, you owe me a pencilâ you tell Eddie.
âOh really? Whyâs that?â he asks playfully.
âI only borrowed it to you! I did not gift it!â
âSo youâre calling me a thief? First a killer and now a thief? Glad to know you think so badly of little old meâ
âI didn't just called you that!â you say in you defence and he makes confused face, signalling you to continue talking. âI also said youâre cute. Youâre a really cute thief and killerâ
He starts laughing. âAre you always this charming, or is it just when I'm around?"
âI could ask you the same thingâ
âOh only with you, sweetheartâ he promises.
âMe tooâ you admit a little shyly.
âYeah?-â he tries to keep flirting but Dustin cuts him off.
âAre you ready? Letâs goâ
âWow, since when are you so eager to leave hellfire?â Eddie notices.
âNo reasonâ he lies, heâs still not sure if all this flirting between you two would be something good or not.
âI think heâs a little jealous his sister is taking all of Eddieâs attentionâ Gareth teases him.
âNo, Iâm not!â
âAw Dusty bun!â Eddie joins in the teasing.
âIâm not jealous! Ask her out for all I care!â he says but regrets it as soon as it left his mouth.
âReally?â Eddie checks in but Dustin is a very proud person, heâs not one to bend. So he nods encouraging his friend.
Good thing you know him like the palm of your hand.
âLetâs go dingus, momâs probably waiting for usâ
Eddie feels this as punch right on his chest. Did he read too much into this? Were you not actually interested? Was it just some playful flirting?
As you walk out the school and into the parking lot. You open the car so your brother can get in but tell him to wait a second, and you walk over to Eddie who was about to get in his van.
âWait! Thief!â you call him and he turns around. âI think you should, you know⊠ask me outâ
He feels the happiness creeping back into his body. âYeah? I should?â his playful tone back in his voice. âWould you want to go out with a thief and a murderer?â
âIf heâs as cute as you are, then Iâd think about itâ you make him laugh again.
âHow about tomorrow night? Iâll pick you up at eightâ he proposes.
âIâll be readyâ
âGoodâ
âYeah, goodâ you walk closer to him. âSee you tomorrow thenâ and before leaving, you give him a kiss on his cheek. Hiding your need to kiss him more after seeing his flushed face. Youâll have plenty of time for that tomorrow.
Dustin sees you getting in the car with the biggest smile on your face. âDid you ask him out?â
âUm, yeah⊠listen-â
âItâs fine, reallyâ
âNo, listen. I know that maybe itâs a little uncomfortable to think of one of your best friends going out with me. But I promise I would never do anything to hurt him and make it weird between you two-â
âI know that, and I know he wouldnât do that eitherâ he interrupts you. âIâm just- Iâm worried that I wonât be a priority to you or to him anymoreâ
âDustin, are you kidding? You could not be more wrong about that!â you argue. âImagine this date goes well, weâll start hanging out at home and watch movies with you, we could go out to eat all together, go to the cinema, anything! You name it!â
And the more he thinks about it that way, the more he loves that idea.
So the next day, he helps you choose your outfit, he tells you which hairstyle will look better and then hurries you up when itâs 7:50 pm and youâre still putting mascara on.
âYou look fine already! Amazing even! Grab your jacket cause heâll be here any minute now!â and as soon as he says that, he recognizes that car outside with the loud metal music, seconds later he hears the door knocking.
âIâll get it, mom!â he yells so his mother wonât embarrass you.
âNo, you wonât. I willâ you stop him before he can open the door. âGo back to your comic-book. Iâll be back in a few hoursâ
And he waits until you get back.Â
When you finally do, heâs on the couch watching TV but mutes it as soon as he hears you.
âHeyâ he notices the big smile on your face is on again. He also notices your lips are a little puffy and he cringes at that thought. Â
âYou can go to sleep happily now, the date went amazingâ you explain. âGod, I think Iâm love with him!â you comment as you go up to your room.
âAlready?â he judges a little.
But as you promised, the three of you hang out together most of the time. And as long as he looks away when you two kiss or ignores the fact that Eddieâs spending the night in your room after you all catch a movie and order some pizza. Heâs really happy that you two found each other.

For herâŠ
syn: a certain time of year was particularly hard for Toji, and you start to understand why..
cw: angst. grief. mamagurođ„čđïž
a/n: idk..was in my feels today i guessđ« relax and enjoy some bittersweetness with me
No one ever flat out told you why one day out of the year was justâŠdifferent..at the Fushiguro house.
You were pretty perceptive of the change in Tojiâs demeanor. The melancholic sheen over his eyes when heâd look at you, barely holding eye contact when you asked him a question and him being dismissive if it had anything to do with how he was acting.
He wasnât mean or less patient with you or Megumi. He was just..different. He didn't say much. His laughter sounded a tad off, even forced at times. He slept a bit longer, usually blaming it on a recent job or his age, jokingly of course.
He moved around as if he operated on autopilot, unlike the agile and conscientious man youâd learned Toji to be . Youâd catch him zoning out alot or being a little more forgetful than usual. Less focused, as if his mind was somewhere far away. Another place. Another time.
One summer morning you noticed a bottle of strawberry soda in the back of the fridge, tucked behind several items as if it were purposely placed there. Hidden. Youâd only seen it because Megumi struggled to reach something on the same shelf, so you helped him You'd been meaning to ask Toji since when he even iiked that brand, seeing as how you never saw him or Megs drink it. You didnât know him to be much of a soda drinker unless it was the occasional Coke on a scalding hot day.
But when you went back the next day to find it, it was gone. When you finally asked him about it, heâd just say he got it for Megs but he never drank it, and it had been in there for a while so he threw it out. That would have been believable if you didnât find the same bottle hidden a little better in the back of the fridge again that following year around the same time.
âIt's for my mom.â Megumiâs raspy voice makes you flinch from where he spooked you on the other side of the door. He was now tall enough to see over it, his lithe form springing up with each passing day it seemed. You blinked at him in surprise, your mouth gaping and in search of a reasonable excuse to be holding the soda that youâd dug out from the depths of the ice box. The chilled glass bottle was clutched against your chest when the spikey-headed boy stepped towards the open fridge to reach around you for a yogurt drink.
"Oh...I wasn't.." you stammered, only for the broody adolescent to interrupt you.
âIt's her birthday tomorrow,â Megumi mutters shortly after he peels the cap back a little to take a sip, not saying anything else about the soda before walking away.
You watched him exit the kitchen in silence, an odd sensation tingling in your chest. You never heard Megumi speak of his late mother. Not even when he was smaller. From what you know, Toji's wife passed away shortly after Megumi was born. Something about an underlying heart condition that worsened after giving birth. Megs wasn't even a year old yet, so it made some sense that he didn't speak of her. He probably had no memories of his mother and was always accustomed to it just being him and his dad.
Until now at least...
Your attention returns to the soda, its slow-rising bubbles lining the neck of the glass bottle as you turn it slowly in your hand.
So every year, around his late wife's birthday, Toji bought the same brand of strawberry soda. For her.
Now that you thought of it, there was always this errand heâd always have to run on a certain day every year. Too consumed with life and work, you didn't realize it was on the same day. Every year.
An errand that would take him far out of the city very early in the morning.
You would roll over in the bed groggily, noting Toji sitting on the edge of his side. Heâd be leaned over, lacing up his boots, fully dressed and smelling good. You knew sometimes he and Shiu would meet up early to discuss business so you never asked for details when he'd kiss your forehead goodbye.
He always came back to you around noon with a bouquet of sunflowers and red roses though, from a shop way out of the way, with a card that would read the same thing every time.
For you, just because <3
Toji knew you loved them and it made you less curious about his mysterious errand when he came back bearing gifts. In hindsight, you felt stupid and selfish for thinking they were 'just because' flowers now that you knew what this day meant to him.
Especially when you looked up the flower shop and found out it was less than a mile away from a cemetery.
That was why one year, days before he could find time to go to the store, and days after he gave you the heads up on his early morning errand, Toji found the newly bought bottle of strawberry soda in the fridge. You weren't around when he found it, which made the lump in Toji's throat even thicker at the realization.
He never really told you that every July 7th, he would visit a little florist's shop at the edge of a small town an hour away, where the owner would have a special arrangement that Toji ordered every year waiting for him. Preserved lilies and pink roses, a small bag of items from the convenience store across the street, and two glass bottles of soda (one strawberry and one Coke ) rest in his passenger seat for another 3 to 5 minutes as he pulls into the parking space that was always empty.
The morning sun warms his skin on his walk across the grass. Flowers, and plastic bag in tow, Toji steps with purpose on his way to his wife's grave. For a few minutes, he takes his time using the items in the small bag to scrub and rinse any dirt or grime tainting the granite. In the early years, Toji would visit and clean her grave stone frequently. Heâd even bring baby Megumi with him since they still lived in the small town. The place where he and his wife made a life together.
But one day, after about 2 years had passed and Megumi became more active, Toji he realized that staying stuck in his grief was causing him to miss out on being mentally present in his childâs life.
And he knew she wouldnât want that..
So he came alone now, placing the flowers down to replace the ones that had withered away, along with the opened bottle of strawberry soda nestled perfectly in the grass.
Toji squats to sit in front of the grave with his own beverage dangling between his knuckles, popping the cap off with his teeth and leaning forward to clink it gently against his wife's before taking a sip.
He would then spend about an hour or more just sitting there. Usually, he'd talk, not caring about how awkward it felt anymore.
He'd start out by wishing her happy birthday and telling her about how big Megumi is getting. How much he looks like her and all the little quirks he has that remind him of her. How smart and independent he is and how he takes care of his dad just as much as his dad takes care of him. He tells her about how he is doing. About his health and any recent injuries or ailments as a result of his job. He'd leave out what he still did to make money, even though he was sure she already knew. He'd talk about how getting older isn't as scary to him as it used to be, especially when he had someone that made him feel young again.
He'd tell her about how you came into his life and how hesitant he was about allowing you into his heart. Not that he had much of a choice. You just made it that easy. Leading with friendship, fostering a bond that wasnât driven by lust or uninhibited emotions. Showing up for Megumi when he couldnât due to work or making sure the both of them were taking proper care of themselves.
It always stuck in his mind how you never let his trauma or baggage scare you away, even if it should have, and how much your presence changed the way he saw love and life after losing someone so precious.
He would express the guilt he felt in loving you and her simultaneously. He didn't understand it. It wasn't as if there was a hierarchy in his heart, ranking one person over the other. He just couldnât do that when he loved you both im different ways. It was just as if his heart had grown and all that she taught him about love years ago allowed more to pour in, making space for you.
He'd thank her for being his first love and for giving him the greatest gifts he could ever ask for. For teaching him how to love, and in turn, how to be loved as well.
That part of his conversation always got him emotional, and a breeze that didnât touch anything but him with blow over his tearstained face. Even his hair would be tussled, reminiscent of the way his wife would tease his messy raven tresses in attempt to cheer him up.
Then he would smile, clear his throat and tell her heâd be back this time next year before rising to stand.
On his drive back, heâd glance at the new custom bouquet of sunflowers and red roses now in his passenger, his heart still twinged with a confusing mixture of guilt and relief riddling him. Relief to be leaving that small old town that only reminded him of a life that was now over. The life he thought would last much longer than it did. Every place held a memory that was colored yellow and blue in his mind, stored deep but never forgotten.
His guilt came mostly from the fact that he never could find a way to tell you why the birthday of his late wife was so hard for him and why he just needed to make that yearly trip on his own to visit her.
So one could only imagine the shock Toji felt that following year when he opened his fridge and found his late wifeâs favorite soda.
Front and center. Not hidden or tucked away in the back. Unseen and easily forgotten. With a yellow sticky note placed over the label, easy to see and read.
In your handwritingâŠ

The Dos & Don'ts of Fake Dating | E.M. x reader | pt. 5
[chap four] | [all chapters here] | [chap six]
summary: You propose a crazy idea to the resident freak of Hawkins, Eddie Munson. But maybe he was even crazier for agreeing to itâŠ
notes & tropes: fem reader, slow burn, faking dating, opposites attract, bratty rich bitch reader, super minor revenge plot, not-quite-enemies-to-lovers
a/n: I'm very excited for this chapter because it's actually one of the scenes that inspired this whole fic! Before I knew what the hell I even wanted to write, I played this idea of a figure skating character over and over again in my head as I built up the story around it. I'm a little behind on writing the next chap, so it may be a slightly longer wait between this and the next one! Hope you all love it!

Chapter Five
You skated at least four times a week. Youâve done so since you were ten years old, when you decided that you wanted to take figure skating more seriously. Whether or not you had competitions, whether or not you were in the mood for it, you always stuck with your skating routine. With competition season coming up in November, you knew youâd have to start practicing more, putting in longer hours and more days in preparation.
Or maybe not. After all, competing was something that your mom enjoyed, that she encouraged wholeheartedly. Regardless of how much you enjoyed it, it didnât exactly fit the teenage rebellion thing you had going on right now. Maybe you wouldnât go to competition this year, maybe youâd skip out on your final season out of pure spite - now that would be cruel. Although a part of you hurt at that idea - because you really did love skating - you reasoned that it was something you had to consider.
Fridays were always very long days for you. While your peers would be set free to roam following the 3pm school bell, you had more obligations for the day. Once you left school, you crammed in as much homework as you could before hitting the ice rink by 4:30 at the latest to get your own practice in. Once that was done, you led a youth skating practice until 7pm, then you tried to squeeze in some more skating time before the hockey team took to the ice at 7:15. After arriving home at 8 oâclock or later, you crammed more homework so you wouldnât have to deal with it over the weekend, and then by that point youâd be too worn out for anything else, so you generally slept late into the next morning.
This had been your routine for over a year now, ever since your own couch suggested that you needed to get more extracurriculars under your belt for your college applications. She had insisted that your resume would look far more impressive if you showed that you had teaching experience and âleadership potential,â an idea that really appealed to your parents, who were determined for you to get into a good school, maybe even on a figure skating scholarship. So, you ended up taking over the Friday night childrenâs lessons whether you wanted to or not.
You honestly despised it. You led children age 5 to 7, and they were a constant pain in the ass. You couldnât raise your voice without one of them crying, you couldnât leave them to their own devices without someone inevitably ending up hurt. Yet, you stuck with it because you were told to, because the adults around you insisted that you needed to. You couldnât stand the way your coach would insist that this would help develop your skills, you couldnât stand how your mother insisted âyouâll look back on this so fondly when youâre older.â These damned kids skating lessons were something else youâd probably drop soon, because you barely tolerated them as is.
While everyone else was at the football game, while Eddie was probably off playing his stupid fantasy game or doing something equally as nerdy, you were here at the ice rink, shouting instructions at children while parents and hockey players watched. Some of the parents had made it clear before that they werenât fond of your impatient and mean teaching methods, but your coach always seemed to talk them out of pulling their kids from your group. She always argued something about you being the best skating in the county, but you werenât sure how true that was - sure, you had your fair share of medals, but even with your ego you were pretty sure there were better skaters at your level.
âCome on, slackers, weâve got five minutes left!â You taunted your group of 11 kids as they skated around the perimeter of the rink as a cool down. You zipped ahead of them, leading the charge as you skated backwards to keep an eye on them.
Many of the older kids had grown used to your abrasive coaching, but you could see that many of the newbies were still frightened of you, your loud voice, and your cold eyes. As a means of excusing your poor teaching style, you always said that skating was a tough sport and they needed to toughen up if they wanted to be any good at it. For how pretty and elegant figure skating could be, you knew from experience that competitive skating could be harsh, so you figured you were helping these kids prepare for it.
Because the Hawkins High hockey team had the rink after your group every Friday, many of them were already sitting on the sidelines, getting their gear ready or watching you work. The cocky part of you enjoyed the attention, but hockey players were stupid, so you rarely gave any of them a chance whenever they tried talking to you. Nonetheless, when you were in a good mood, you enjoyed putting on a bit of a show for them, shooting flirty glances their way or occasionally calling out remarks to them between instructing the kids. Tonight, you were paying them little mind, but that didnât stop you from looking their way every now and again.
As you led the kids back to the center of the ice to wrap up the lesson, a lot of their parents were also waiting in the bleachers or out in the lobby. While you skated back and forth in front of your little army of children, going over some instructions for their next practice with your coach on Monday, your eyes roamed the bleachers. You gave a wicked grin to the hockey players that watched you, meanwhile you took in the parents with very little regards. It was as you looked over the clusters of parents that you saw a familiar face sitting at the penalty bench, and unintentionally you let your toe pick drag on the ice, which very nearly caused you to trip.
God damn Eddie Munson.
As you glared in his direction, hoping your momentary lack of balance didnât make you look too stupid, you dismissed the kids before gliding towards the dasher board. Eddie, grinning like an asshole, stood up to meet you as children began to exit the ice. You braced yourself on the rail of the board, eyes narrowed at Eddie who appeared far too amused for your liking.
âWhat are you doing here?â You ask in lieu of a greeting. Eddie briefly glances over at the kids leaving the ice.
âYouâre incredible with children.â He mocked, smiling far too wide for your liking; you narrowed your eyes while wondering just how long heâd been here, âFigured I might find you here.â
âThat doesnât explain why youâre here, though.â You respond coldly, gaze briefly looking in the direction of the hockey team to find a couple of them watching your interaction.Â
âYou did say we needed to make plans, figure out how this was going to work,â Eddie started, taking in your red cheeks and slightly damp forehead that developed over the course of your skating lessons.
âI also said weâd talk about it next week.â You glowered a little, not worried if any of the hockey players saw it - maybe theyâd simply mistake it for a lovers quarrel. Eddie grinned, holding his arms up as if he were a presenter on some dumb show.
âNo time like the present, right?â Your unamused face gave him all the answer he needed, and his expression fell a little in annoyance, âAnd here I hoped I was being a good fake boyfriend by visiting you at the rink.â
âYouâre being too good a fake boyfriend,â You jab.
Now that all the kids were off the ice, you slid towards the open gate; Eddie kept pace with you on the other side of the dasher board, meeting you at the gate and offering you his hand in assistance. You looked between his face and his outstretched hand with a glare, but eventually accepted his help, stepping over the barrier and onto the slightly cushy floor on the other side.
âI told you not tonight because Iâm busy.â You walk over to the gym bag you left sitting on the nearest bleachers. As you sat beside it, Eddie shrugged with a carelessness that seemed almost false.
âThen Iâll go.â He answered simply as you removed your skates, âJust thought it might not be a bad idea to get to know you a little better. Itâs not gonna be easy to fake date someone who you know nothing about.â
You shot him a harsh look while putting skate guards over your blades. You didnât want to admit that he was right, but he had a good point, especially since you had already discussed it before. You sighed heavily through your nose, your cold eyes locked on Eddieâs.
âCanât it wait? Iâve had a long day.â
Eddie studied you for a moment, leaning back against the dasher board before looking around the ice rink. You quickly put some worn sneakers on your feet and stood, picking your bag and turning away with the intention to leave. But Eddieâs gentle grip on your wrist stopped you from going anywhere, causing you to look between his hand and his face. As you two held eye contact, you realized that Eddie could be just as stubborn as you when he wanted; damn, was this going to be difficult.
âLet me buy you dinner - Iâm sure youâre starving,â Eddie started, and for a fleeting moment you wondered if he thought your attitude was because you were hangry. You chewed your lower lip, eyes staring critically at Eddie for another few moments before you let out a defeated sigh, allowing your shoulders to relax a little. Considering that it had been nearly eight hours since your lunch break, it might now be a bad idea to eat something.
Eddieâs eyes softened at your silent resignation, the corner of his mouth pulling up. He finally released your wrist, nodding his head in the direction of the lobby, âCome on, you pick.â
ïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïč
Your pick ended up being a 24-hour diner downtown. Eddie showed clear confusion when you mentioned it, so you explained that - for whatever reason - the diner had become something of a tradition, where students congregated post-Friday night football into the wee hours of the night. Youâd joined that crowd a number of times in the past, but had no more interest in it - what you were interested in was having people see you and Eddie out together.
You knew it would still be at least an hour before the football crowd arrived, but that wasnât such a bad thing - it gave you and Eddie a bit of time to actually become acquainted, to learn more about each other beyond âice princessâ and âthe freak.â
You studied Eddie while sipping on a chocolate shake, waiting for your food to arrive. He stared back at you unabashedly, and you figured you could be locked into this staring contest until the end of time given how stubborn you both could be. As if Eddie knew what you were thinking, he smirked, finally caving as he looked away from you.
âNot to sound cliche,â Eddie scratched the back of his neck, almost as if he were nervous, but you assumed that couldnât be true, âbut⊠tell me about yourself?â
You smiled at how dumb the question was - that was so cliche. It was as good a starting place as any you figured, but that didnât make it sound any less silly and forced. You leaned back in your seat, still holding tight to your milkshake as if it were a lifeline.
Putting on your best Miss America voice, you replied, âWell, Iâm freshly 18 from Hawkins, Indiana. I love long walks on the beach, snuggling up with a good book, and I hope one day weâll have world peace.â
Eddie narrowed his eyes at you, although you could tell he was fighting back a grin, âYouâre making this very challenging considering that it was your idea.â
You shrug, taking a big gulp of the chocolate shake, âI guess Iâm just a challenging person.â
âYou guess?â Eddie laughed mockingly at that, âYouâre the most challenging Iâve met. So, how about you try relaxing a little or else no oneâs going to buy that weâre together.â
You made a face at the near-insult, finally putting down your drink. You leaned your elbows on the table, taking in Eddieâs face for a moment, stubbornly resisting the urge to say anything. Again, he had a good point, not that you wanted to tell him that. Eddie appeared to have an idea as he mirrored your pose.
âOkay, weâll go back and forth, a question for a question; howâs that?â You nodded, âRight. First question: Why me?â
Your brows furrowed a little in thought, pinning down a good answer while trying to recall what youâve already told him, âHavenât I already explained that?â
âKind of.â Eddie rolled his hand in a motion that basically said âbut go on.â
You bit the inside of your cheek for a moment while thinking, âYour reputation. People donât know you, but your reputation is in the absolute gutter. No better person to turn to than the guy who everyone in the school already hates.â
Eddie nodded in acceptance of the answer, âOkay, your turn.â
You grinned a little, a question already on your lips, âWhyâd you agree to it?â
It was something youâd speculated briefly throughout the week, as you thought that your trade offer might not have been a compelling enough reason for Eddie to agree to this stupid plan. And now you could finally get the answer you were looking for.
Eddie silently stared at you in consideration, and again it almost felt like he was able to read your thoughts somehow. Finally, he answered, âCuriosity.â
You raised a brow in question, to which he once more scratched the back of his neck - maybe that actually was a nervous habit, so you took note of it.
âWe both know this idea is kinda crazy,â Eddie started, mulling over his thoughts before continuing, âBut I wanted to see how it plays out. See if we can actually trick people into believing it. And I wanted to see if you were as awful as I thought you were.â
You balked instantly, an amused huff escaping your mouth, ââAwful?â Jesus, you keep acting like Iâm the devil or something.â
Eddie made a face while shrugging, not disagreeing with you, âYou thought the same about me. So, letâs call it square.â
Food was finally brought to your table, and you had to resist the urge to attack the greasy burger set in front of you; you didnât need Eddie to see you act like a ravenous gremlin over some food, even if it had been over eight hours since youâd eaten anything. But you nonetheless dug in, albeit with far more control than your empty, growling stomach would have liked.
âYour turn.â You say around a bite of food, causing Eddie to smile in amusement and the unladylike action.
âHmmâŠâ He leaned forward, scrutinizing you as he contemplated his next question. Self consciously, you wiped at the corner of your mouth just to make sure there wasnât any stray ketchup or grease sitting there, âWhy ice skating?â
âBecause itâs better than cheerleading.â You smiled at your own joke before giving a slightly better answer, âI always thought it was pretty. Nothing else to it, unfortunately; no deep story and significance to it.â
âFine.â Eddie responded almost as if he was disappointed by the mundane answer.
âWhy Dungeons and Dragons?â
âYour questions canât keep being off-shoots of mine.â Eddie laughed a little, and despite yourself it caused you to smile smally as well.
âSays who?â
âSays me,â He responded while pointing at himself, âI get to come up with some of the rules now, remember?â
âWhatever.â You rolled your eyes with a degree of fondness, which you immediately found strange, so you tried to wipe the look from your face. Nope, you werenât fond of Eddie Munson, not at all.
You went back to your food, hoping Eddie didnât catch the amused look on your face. You spoke around another bite of food, âDo you have siblings?â
âNone that I know of.â He replied around his own mouthful of food, âBut I wouldnât exactly be surprised if there were any out there.â
You cocked your head a little at the response; it wasnât so much shocking or sad, rather it was unexpected and different from your own life. You made a mental note to learn more about Eddieâs family, if not tonight then at a later point.
âWhatâs your plan after graduation?â
You opened your mouth to answer, but then paused - what was your plan now that you were trying to make your own decisions? You hadnât even considered it. Did you still want to go to college? Where? Studying what? You suddenly realized that you had no true plan for yourself, only the one outlined by your parents, and that realization made you nervous.
âHonest answer: not a fucking clue.â Eddie looked taken aback by the response, so you continued, âMy plan before was getting into a good school on a skating scholarship, and studying something completely irrelevant. My parents expect my skating to carry me through life until some good, rich man sweeps me off my feet.â
âBut thatâs not your plan anymore?â
âThatâs another question.â You give him a teasing grin, causing Eddie to roll his eyes, âFirst, answer me this: If you werenât stuck in Hawkins, where would you go?â
Eddie grinned with an unexpected eagerness, âLA. The music scene there is insane, and Iâd happily sleep on the streets if it meant I had a shot at making my own music.â
Your eyes softened ever so slightly at the unexpected, genuine response - admittedly, you didnât peg Eddie as the type to have any real goals. But music? That was interesting to you since you werenât even aware that he played any instruments. You wondered if he was actually any good at it, or if it was some foolish aspiration.
âNow, whatâs your plan?â Eddie repeated, smirking at the look on your face - this was one of the few times you didnât look like a total bitch, so he appreciated it. In fact, you looked relaxed and, dare he say, content; that was certainly unexpected from you.
When you shrugged, he shook his head, leaning forward again, âNo, you come up with a plan right now. Donât base it off what your parents want or what you think sounds like the right answer. What do you want to do with your life once weâre done with this shit hole?â
You contemplated, a mild concern washing over you as you stared at Eddie - what the hell did you want? And why did you suddenly feel so vulnerable because of the question. You had to rip your gaze away from Eddieâs, hardening your expression as you tried to think up an answer that felt right.
âI⊠I like art, I love clothes,â You started dumbly, glancing at Eddie through your lashes, expecting him to make a face at the lame answer, âI donât know shit about them in a technical way, but it might be fun for college. Take painting or sewing classes during the day, skate until my feet hurt at night, maybe⊠I want to be somewhere big and interesting. New York, LA⊠fuck, even Florida for all I care, I just want out of Hawkins, out of this town.â
âThen I guess weâll be those high school sweethearts that run off to LA together after graduation, huh?â Eddie smiled widely, and you allowed an amused look to cross your face.
âOh, Iâm sure.â You returned to your food as you tried to come up with a good question for Eddie. An intriguing one came to you, so you asked before you could second guess it, âHow do you expect your fake girlfriend to act?â
Eddieâs brow furrowed; it didnât appear to be due to him misunderstanding the question, but rather that it was unexpected; he even looked maybe hesitant to answer it. Again, he scratched his neck.
You lean forward a little, looking at him seriously, âGive me a good answer, okay? Weâre just gonna keep going in circles otherwise.â
Eddie shrugged, âMaybe I donât have any expectations.â
âThen come up with some.â You immediately counter, prodding the same way he had about your plans for the future. Eddie stared at you with scrutiny while chewing the inside of his lip, as if he didnât want to come up with a response to the question. You waited, making a mock sweet face at him while you chowed down on your fries. You were going to demand an answer until he gave you one.
âWell, going off the rules you already established,â He made a bit of a face as if to mock the oh-so-sacred fake dating rules, âAside from playing nice in front of others, it might be helpful if you were less stubborn; youâre like a damn bull.â
You gave him a joshing smile right back, âFair. Is that it?â
Eddie quickly shook his finger; now it was just a back-and-forth game of you mocking one another, âAh, thatâs another question.â
âOh, fuck off.â You rolled your eyes with a short laugh, âThat is not another question.â
Eddie gave a fake look of apology, shrugging again, âUnfortunately, it is.â
You threw a french fry at him, which lamely hit his chest then landed in his lap. As he laughed and picked it up, you found yourself smiling fondly again, and you quickly tried to shake off the expression.
At that moment, the bell above the front door chimed, and immediately the diner was filled with rambunctious conversation. Your heart jumped a little, realizing the time, and you briefly glanced in the direction of the door; the group that had entered wasnât your friends, although you recognized them. You turned your attention back to Eddie, who gave you another grin.
âShowtime.â He stated simply, and then a thought appeared to cross his mind, âYou want another expectation? Tell me if anything I do is too much, but otherwise let me do what I do - you donât need to be in control all the time.â
âDonât I, though?â You countered haughtily, which was met by a flash of seriousness across Eddieâs eyes.
âNo, you donât. I know what Iâm doing, okay?â
You studied him for a moment, not entirely convinced that he did, in fact, know what he was doing. Considering that youâd never seen him even interact with a girl before, you werenât sure if he knew the first thing about dating or romance. But despite your doubts, you relented, relaxing your shoulders as if to show you were relinquishing some control.
âFine,â You rolled your eyes nonetheless, forever obstinate as you mocked, âIâll tell you if I donât like something, but otherwise Iâll let you do what you do.â
âWas that so hard?â Eddie replied with a condescending smirk. You sneered before relaxing your face, knowing your friends were bound to appear any minute now.
As you stole another glance at the door, you suddenly felt Eddieâs fingers graze the back of your hand, drawing your attention back to him with a confused little knot between your brows. He held your gaze as if to make a point, as if to remind you of the conversation you just had, that he knew what he was doing. His hand simply sat on top of yours, your fingers ever so slightly lacing together - he raised his brows as if to dare you to pull away from him. You had to resist the urge to narrow your eyes at him and snatch your hand away, and in turn Eddie gave you a cocky grin before continuing to eat with his free hand.
Eventually, your friends appeared, although they didnât notice you at first. They were all so full of energy as they excitedly spoke to each other, descending upon a few tables in the middle of the diner and pushing them together. The staff were used to it, although you knew from experience that they nonetheless hated it; you guys were always disruptive to the other patrons, and you figured that was never going to change.
You tried your best not to stare, but your eyes kept trailing over, kept studying the excited faces of the people you considered friends only a couple of weeks ago. After your eyes had drifted over for the umpteenth time, you felt Eddie lightly squeeze your fingers, causing you to unintentionally sneer at how strange it was to maintain this physical contact with him.
âStop staring,â He instructed when you looked back at him.
With a quarrelsome look in your eyes, you did as Eddie told you, returning your attention to the half eaten burger on your plate, âTalk to me about something, then.â
âLike what?â
âI donât care, just talk so I can pretend to be interested.â
Eddie looked mildly put off by that, and you realized that youâd taken your customary mean tone with him. You couldnât seem to help yourself with your former cohorts nearby, it was as if their energy was rubbing off on you.
âYou know what Iâm going to talk about,â Eddie taunted with a wide grin.
Your face fell in realization, âPlease not Dungeons and Dragons.â
âIâm gonna do it.â
âI wish you wouldnât.â
âSo, thereâs this character, Kas, who has really interesting lore--â
You threw another fry at Eddie, and at that same moment, you felt someone come up alongside your table. You both look up to see Amelia there with a critical look on her face; your gaze drifts past her, noticing that a few people from her table were also looking at you and Eddie.
You met Ameliaâs eyes again, giving her a wide, false smile, âSmall world.â
Her eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms, âYeah, Iâm sure you just completely forgot we always come here after games.â
âMaybe she just wanted to see her dear friends.â Eddie chimed in mockingly, once again surprising you with his willingness to instigate confrontation. You laughed as a dumbfounded look crossed Ameliaâs at his remark.
âI donât know what the hell she sees in you.â Amelia snarked with a glare before turning her gaze back to you, âAnd I donât know what the hell is going on with you, but itâs already getting pretty old.â
You shrug with exaggerated nonchalance, âSometimes a girl just needs a bit of a change every now and then, you know?â
Amelia didnât look convinced as she rolled her eyes with a dramatic sigh, âYeah, well, this âchangeâ doesnât suit you at all.â
Before you could respond with another quip, Amelia spun on her heel and briskly returned to her table. By that point, everyone there was watching and awaiting Ameliaâs return, quickly huddling together to whisper conspiratorially once she sat down.
You and Eddie shared an amused glance; he went back to poking at his food as your gaze trailed back to Amelia and company. You happened to lock eyes with Duncan, who stared at you with harsh scrutiny, as if he wasnât buying this thing between you and Eddie in the slightest. You gave Duncan a mocking while, starting to wave before flipping him off, causing Eddie to snort and choke on his food. You couldnât help but laugh out loud as he hit his chest a couple of times, trying to clear his throat. The sound of such a genuine laugh escaping you was absolutely foreign to Eddie, but he decided it was a sound he enjoyed, even if it was at his expense; he made a mental note that he had to find ways to make you laugh more that didnât involve him choking.
âYou couldâve killed me.â Eddie croaked before laughing himself, his smile wide.
âYouâre fine.â You teased, squeezing his fingers while giving him a false pout of sympathy, âYou big baby.â
Eddie rolled his eyes in amusement, digging his wallet out while finally relinquishing the grip he had on your hand, âCome on, letâs get out of here.â
He tossed money onto the table and stood, offering his hand to you again. You quickly snagged one last fry before accepting Eddieâs hand, allowing him to pull you to your feet. He once again laced his fingers with yours as he led you through the crowded diner, and you had to fight back the desire to cringe in confusion at it. The both of you eyed the crowd of Hawkins Highâs elite as they watched you back critically.
Once outside the diner, Eddie paused in front of one of the large windows and pulled a ridiculous face at the kids still watching you; he quickly tugged your arm, leading you back towards the van as you laughed again at his antics.

Would it be crazy
Pairing: dilf!Andy Barber x babysitter!ReaderÂ
Summary: Andy remembers your birthday, and you're surprised. But why wouldn't he?Â
Warnings: Age gap, love confessions teheÂ
Word count: ~1,000
a/n: sorryyyy we're skipping the first date for now cause idk how to write that yet đ€Ș enjoy a self indulgent birthday thought instead!!!!
After knocking on his door a second time, you sigh and reach for your phone in your pocket to double check his text.Â
He asked a few hours ago if youâd be able to watch his kids tonight. You don't babysit much anymore since you're together, but you figured he's in a pinch if he's asking you instead of their mom, and so last minute.Â
You definitely have the time rightâŠ
While you have it open, you send a quick message letting him know you're at the door.Â
When a couple more moments go by of nothing, you say fuck it. You normally wouldn't let yourself in, all in an attempt to keep some boundaries when you know his kids are around.Â
âHello?â You call out.Â
Itâs oddly quiet when you step through the door, until he comes practically jogging around the corner into the entryway.Â
âYou're here,â he smiles, whisking you into a hug â or at least trying to.
âYeah,â you scoff, not fully submitting to his embrace yet. You press your hands to his chest to keep him at a distance. âI've been knocking and texting you.âÂ
âOh shit,â he winces. His fingers apologetically brushing against the small of your back have you close to giving in already. âIâm sorry, I didn't have my phone by me.âÂ
It's nearly impossible to stay annoyed with him. He wraps his arms tighter around your waist, coaxing you closer. He goes in for a kiss and you drop your hands, ready to forget all about it, but you remember where you are and look around.Â
âThey're not here,â he shakes his head with a smile, leaning in to steal that kiss.Â
âBut you asked me here toâŠâ You raise an eyebrow. It's like he's giddy about something. âWhy are you being weird?âÂ
âI can't believe you said yes on your birthday,â he teases. You can tell he was waiting to blurt it out. But he gives you a look, like he's scolding you for not doing something more fun than hang out with some kids for the evening.Â
âOh⊠Iââ He's caught you off guard. The look on your face softens. You open your mouth to say something, but close it. You didn't expect him to remember your birthday.Â
You settle on joking with him.Â
âYou used your kids to lure me,â you gasp, placing a hand on your chest in faux shock. âYou could have just asked me to come over.âÂ
âThat's no fun,â he smirks. âI needed a way to get you here. I wanted it to be a surprise.âÂ
âWell, it worked.â Your hands come up to gently grab his face, pulling him in for a kiss finally. Your words are murmured against his lips. âConsider me surprised.âÂ
When you pull away for a breath, he takes one of your hands in his to start walking toward his kitchen with you.Â
âYou really didn't have anything better to do tonight?â He quips.Â
âWell, it's a Thursday,â you sigh. âSo no. I'll go out this weekendââÂ
Your voice trails off as you step into the room, seeing everything he planned. This is more than the average date night youâre used to.Â
He has the table set with candles lit. Balloons and a cake. Dinner readyâŠÂ
âDid you make the food?âÂ
You don't mean to sound so astonished at that part, but he's usually not one to cook.Â
âDon't sound so shocked,â he chuckles. âOf course I did.âÂ
A burning smell hits your nose and you know for a fact he's telling the truth now.Â
âYeah, yeah.â He can tell you notice it by the way you scrunch your nose. âI was fighting with the smoke detector before you got here. Probably why I couldnât hear you knocking. I'm sorry again about that.â
âOh, it's okay,â you laugh, patting his back as you lean against his side. âI can't believe you remembered my birthdayâŠâÂ
âWhy wouldn't I?â He gently nudges his shoulder, getting you to lift your head and look at him. âYou told me when it is.âÂ
You just shrug. âI don't know.âÂ
âYou remember mine, don't you?â He teases.
âOf course.â You give him a warning look for doubting you.Â
But it's just part of the point he's trying to make.Â
âSo why wouldn't I remember yours?âÂ
He got you there.Â
âJust not used to someone paying attention to me like that I guess, I don't know.âÂ
You're averting your focus, pretending to look through the gifts on the counter instead of working through your doubts with him.Â
His face falls into a small pout and he kisses your cheek.Â
âSorry, I donât mean to be woah is me about it,â you try to laugh it off. âThank you for remembering.âÂ
âYou're welcome,â he smiles.Â
A bout of silence fills the room until you speak up with a whispered voice. âI like you a lot."
âI like you a lot, too,â he assures, pressing a soft kiss to your lips this time.Â
When he pulls away slightly, you let out a shaky breath that you hope isn't noticeable.Â
âWould it be crazy if I said I love you?âÂ
It's nearly inaudible, but he hears you. The corner of his mouth twitches as he represses his smile from growing any bigger.Â
âWell, I don't knowâŠâ He says, acting like he's thinking about it. âWould it be crazy if I said it back?âÂ
You let out a laugh, laced with relief. âNo.â
âSo no, neither of us are crazy.âÂ
âI love you,â you say softly.Â
âI love you, too.âÂ
The two of you share a kiss that's dizzying, but also feels impossible to pull away from.Â
When you do, your eyes catch something on the counter.Â
âIs that a cookie cake?â You ask, still a little breathless.Â
âYeah,â he nods, pulling it closer for you to look at. âI remember you saying once that you don't like regular cake, soâŠâ
âYou're killing me,â you groan, but can't help but laugh.Â
He smiles, but braces himself for your answer. âIn a good way?â
âIn the best way,â you promise, resting your head against his chest. âI can't believe you. Thank you.âÂ

àš MY LITTLE SISTER ৠmatt
summary: you had some plans with your boyfriend matt for the weekend, but something unexpected happens, and you have to babysit your little sister.
notes: this is my second time ever writing a fanfic (go read my first one) and english isn't my first language, it's probably not very detailed and there might be some mistakes, but I hope you enjoy it! all ears to feedbacks, l'd love to know what you think!
warnings: cussing, fluff
àšà§
I sigh âAnd why canât you take her with you?â I say taking my eyes out of the screen and looking at my mom.
âHow long will it take for you to understand that your dad is on a business trip and iâm going on one as well?â She answers walking from a side to another, packing some of her things. âI canât take her with me, even if I wanted to.â
"But mom-" I start, only to be cut off.
"No buts, Y/n.â She interrupts, her tone firm. âIâm being serious." She looks straight into my eyes "It's what I'm telling you, you'll have to stay with your sister. I won't be paying for a babysitter while you're here with your ass in the couch. You are almost 18, you can very well take care of her, itâs only for the weekend.â
âBut I told you I have plans with Matt!â I exclaim, leaning my head back on the headrest of the couch in annoyance.
My mom is about to reply when we hear the sound of my 3 year old little sister's footsteps coming from her room, followed by her little giggles.
We automatically get silent about this topic. I take a deep breath, reminding myself she's not the problem, she's just a child caught up in our adult issues. Bella is not the problem.
Don't get me wrong, I do love my sister, but it's a bit overwhelming to adjust having a sibling after being the only child for years. And with my mom's age, it's unexpected, to say the least.
SKIP TIME
Today is the day that my mom is going to her âsuper important business tripâ, and also the day Im supposed to have a date with Matt.
After my mother left at 7am, Bella and I found ourselves up earlier than usual. We already had breakfast, so now, we donât really have anything to do. We go to the living room, watch some TV.
Bella sits on the couch next to me and chooses the channel. After some good ten minutes, I look at my right to check on her, and sheâs completely asleep, what makes me smile.
Until I realize that I didnât canceled my dinner with Matt.
Shit, I completely forgot to talk with Matt! Fuck!
I get up and I go over to my bedroom, getting my phone and calling him. He takes some seconds to answer the call.
âBabe? Sorry, did I wake you up?â I ask, hoping the answer would be ânoâ.
âNo, No, No..â He says with his husky morning voice, he definitely just woke up. âBut why are you calling this early? Is something wrong?â I could feel myself getting fucking soaked as he talks, sorry, but his voice in the morning? I canât take it.
I take a deep breath, trying to think straight. "Um, yeah.. Actually, my mom went out for the weekend, and I have to babysit my sister.. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the dinner we had planned tonightâ
âOhâ A simple response, What does that even mean? He probably hates me now.
"I know you already made the reservation, and I was super excited, I swear," I start saying nothing with nothing, feeling guilty for ruining our plans. "But then my mom told me she had this thing and..."
Before I could finish apologizing, Matt cuts me, understanding. "No babe, that's fine. Don't worry. Maybe we can do something else? With your sister? I have stuff to do all day, but Iâm free at night, maybe we can have a sleepover or something?â
I sigh in relief âYeah sure, that sounds great, I will talk about It with Bellaâ
âAlright call me later sweetheart, love you, byeâ He ends the call and I go back to the living room, getting back on my place.
Bella is still peaceful sleeping on the couch. Not wanting to disturb her, I cover her with a blanket, but my actions unfortunately wake her up, blinking her sleepy eyes open. A small yawn escapes her lips, and she looks at me with a drowsy smile.
"Hey, sleepyhead" I whisper, gently brushing a piece of hair from her face. "Did you have a nice nap?" Bella nods, rubbing her eyes with tiny hands. "Mhm" she murmurs, snuggling deeper into the blanket.
I think about a way to tell her that Matt is coming over before she could fall back asleep âSo.. do you remember my boyfriend, Matt?" Bella blinks, her sleepy expression turning curious. "Mm-hmm" she mumbles again, nodding slowly.
âWhat if.. He came over to a super fun sleepover with us today?â I say trying to sound extra excited to convince her.
Bella's eyes light up with excitement at the mention of a sleepover. "Yeah!" She exclaims, her drowsiness quickly dissipating. "Matt is funny!" Her sentence makes me chuckle âOh he is?â She nods giggling, It doesn't even look like she just woke up.
The rest of the day, she doesnât stop talking about Matt.
âThen- Then will Matt play games with me?â
âAnd can we watch frozen? I think Matt will like itâ
Over and over, sheâs more excited than me. But I mean, I canât blame her, Itâs Matt over all.
Around 8pm, Matt rings on the doorbell. I go over to the front door, Bella follows me, getting behind my left leg. I open the door and I see my boyfriend with two bouquets of flowers, a big one, and a small one.
âHey loveâ He leans for a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek, then he hands me the bouquet âThis is for youâ
A smile appears across my face, I chuckle âThank you so much.. You really didnât had toâ I say looking at my favorite flowers.
âNo thatâs fine, donât worryâ Matt returns the smile, his eyes lighting up as he sees Bella peeking out shyly from behind me. "Hey, Bella" he says warmly, crouching down to her level. "I also brought these for you, little princess" he says, offering her the smaller bouquet with a gentle smile.
Bella looks at me, seeing Bella's hesitation, I give her a soft nod, silently urging her to accept the flowers from Matt. With a shy smile, Bella reaches out and takes the bouquet from him, still with one hand around my leg.
âWhat do we say Bella?â I place my hand on the top of her head, caressing her hair.
âThank you Mattâ She says still shy.
"You're welcome, Belly" He responds getting up, his voice gentle and kind.
Some hours after playing some board games and talking, Bella decided to go get her toys.
She returns carrying a bunch of dolls and stuffed animals, then she settles onto the carpet in front of us and places everything there. âMatt come play with me!â She says excited with some barbieâs in her small hands.
He gets up from the couch, and sits down next to Bella on the floor âAlright so what doll am I?â Bella looks around âHmmm..â She grabs a really bad looking doll, marker-covered, and hands it to Matt. I automatically start laughing uncontrollably, Matt matches the energy.
I am just watching as they play, Bella makes Matt use a girly voice, what just makes everything ten times better for my entertainment.
After Bella got tired of playing with her toys, she made us watch frozen, itâs her favorite movie, this is probably her fifth time watching it. I sit on the left side of the couch, Matt on the middle and my sister next to him. Some 30 minutes after the movie started, Bella is already with her head on Mattâs lap, sleeping like a little angel, as Matt gently strokes her hair and she snuggles closer to him.
His eyes meet mine, seeing me watching him, he smiles âWhatâs wrong?â
âNothingâ With a soft smile, I rest my head on Matt's shoulder âYou just look so cute taking care of kidsâ He chuckles and leaves a kiss on the top of my head.
àšà§
this actually sucked, iâm so bad at doing cute scenes, this def wasnât what I had in mind lol, maybe i will delete it later.

Dark Horse- A Mother
Part 2
Reader is a single mother, working double shifts at a restaurant. Father of the child starts to become a problem while reader is at work and Price offers a solution. Slight age gap between reader around 25 and Price around 35.
How ironic it was to be back at home emptying out the lunchbox that had started it all. Feeling petty that you were angry like it had forgotten its own self on the counter. Taking out the sandwich you had made the night prior and throwing it away. Turkey, cheese, and miracle whip. Abel's favorite. Starting all over, your mind trying to find work as a distraction from the entire dayâs events. Lunchbox packed and, in the fridge, note on the door so not to forget it in the start of the chain tomorrow. Work finished.
And then the fleeting thought made its way back to you. Engaged. You were engaged. Something you thought would never happen because you have never had time to consider it, let alone dating.
John had passed you his phone number scribbled on a piece of paper. How very old school of him, you thought to yourself accepting it before placing it in your apron pocket mixed in with your tips. It was now back in your fingertips, passing it around to look at it closer. The man had handwriting of a serial killer... Could you be marrying a serial killer?
Shaking your head, riding yourself of such a thought. No, John was not a serial killer.... least not the kind that stalked its prey and killed the next victim- you told yourself, typing what you thought was the phone number into your phone Never really knowing much about him, you could tell he was at least military, but what exactly?
John? the text you sent to the number hoping you had read it right.
Yes? was the single worded answer. Sighing with relief, you were glad it was him, not ready to keep taking the chance of a random stranger.
I could barely read your writing.
Been told it's bad before. And then a time or two after that. He responded back and you can hear the slight chuckle in his voice.
Get the boy in bed? He messaged right after.
Yes, he's sleeping now. Just got his lunch packed.
Good, you should be in bed too. Oh my god, you thought to yourself now worried he was thinking of you in bed. Glancing at the time, after your nightly routine was done you saw the clock on the wall read almost 11:30. He was probably just being practical.
Heading there now, thank you.
For what?
Everything.
Get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow afternoon.
Yeah, like you were going to sleep after everything that had happened today. Giving it an attempt, you crawl under the covers after starting the washer to try to get a jump start of the home work load. Closing your eyes, making the room dark, you pretended if anything to get sleep.
***************************
"Abel!" You shouted, pulling the clothes out of the dryer you had moved during your insomnia caused by your worry battle. "Time to get a move on." Grabbing a warm towel, you hung it on the hook outside of the shower.
"We're going to be late." You said still trying to usher him. Watching his little hand slip out past the shower curtain, feeling for the warm towel.
"Thanks momma," he said muffled through the towel.
It wasn't shortly after he found you fully clothed with his bookbag and the condemned lunchbox in your hand by the front door. Slipping on his shoes he took the bag, slipping it over his shoulders, standing up shouting he was ready.
Locking the door behind you, he sprinted down to the sidewalk ready for you. Grin beaming almost as bright as the morning sun.
"Will that man come see you again today?" he asked as you walked next to him.
Struggling to find the courage to answer him, you realized he was paying more attention than you had thought. "He is."
"Will he be there when I get there?"
"Probably, and I think we will be seeing more of him overall."
"Why?"
"Well... him and I are going to get married."
"Married!? Like a mom and a dad together?"
"Yes, but he is not your dad. Your dad will always be your dad."
Abel looked down kicking a rock.
"I wish he was better to you, momma." And your heart fractured at the statement. Your hand found his chin, tilting it up so he looks at you.
"I wish he was too," your voice quietly fighting the tears that stung your eyes, "but take it as a lesson Abel. If you ever find love, be sure to treat them better then what you have been shown."
Abel gave a single nod, understanding the weight of your statement. He has always been a kid that is easy to talk to.
Going your separate ways, he gave your middle a squeeze, head buried in your abdomen before saying goodbye. Leaving you alone to finish your walk on your way to work.
***************************
Coffee pots are already brewing, turning on the grill top and fryer for your cook. You were ready to roll.
Morning shift went quick, the restaurant running like a well-oiled machine from your efforts. No phone calls from the school today, further easing your confidence that everything was going to be alright. Abel with his dad like the custody agreement states while you're at work. That feeling of confidence quickly left you though, as Abel's homeroom teacher walked in. Mrs. Karim. Eyes locking with her, you meant her almost at the front door.
"Everything ok?" You asked familiar enough with her to know she wouldn't have been here for nothing.
"Relax," she said with a warm laugh. "Not everything that happens has to be bad." She teased placing a hand on your shoulder making you take a deep breath in. "I came to bring you something," she said handing you a student made project. It was a heart with 2 paper doors that you could open.
"We made these for Mother's Day, and I really wanted you to see what your son wrote."
Each individual line was something Abel had written about you. A scribble that you could decipher with ease, seeing it change and grow as he got older.
I love my mother because:
She makes sure I have food every day.
She makes sure I have a warm towel after every shower.
She walks me to school every morning.
She hugs and tells me she loves me every day.
She tucks me into bed every night.
Instantly the tears are hot on your face and grinning like the Cheshire cat. How much you loved that boy.
"Thank you," you said wiping your tears off with your hand.
"Figured you needed it," she said patting your shoulder again letting on she knew more then what you thought, but not pestering further. "You're a good mom." Making you nod as she left, continuing about her time off.
Turning around, you saw Kate standing leaning against the counter.
"Can we get one day in without you crying?" she teased.
"Fuck off," you chortled. Stepping past her, you saw John sitting at the said counter. He must of snuck in.
"You, ok?" he asked, hands wrapped around a steaming cup of coffee.
"Yeah," you said sliding the heart to him to look at. "Look, his handwriting looks like yours." You teased implying he had the handwriting of an 8-year-old.
Taking it in his hands he opened the doors of the heart, smiling as he read it too. "Maybe you could give me lessons then." Eyes drifting up to yours as your heartbeat faster, rattling your ribs. They look so blue even through his long brown lashes. A simple âha-haâ left your mouth unable to find anything else back to say to flirt with him.
"Well, hopefully I can give you something else that makes your day," he said sliding a little black box towards you on the counter. You felt almost dirty accepting it, knowing what was on the inside but still did it anyway. Opening it and looking down, before handing it back to John, unsure of where to go from there.
It was a simple pearl on a gold band. "Was my mother's." He said taking it out of the box, hand extended out for yours. Handing him your left hand, you let him slip it on the ring finger. "Figure if this happening, will make it official." Rendered speechless, you searched to find anything to say.
"What was she like?"
"My mother?"
"Yeah."
"A good mother. Lot like you." He said his answer was plain and simple. His thumb stroking over the back of your hand, back and forth over the ring.
It was like you were made of butterflies and birds. The fluttering beneath your skin, in your chest and stomach, rising and lowering. Were you floating right now? Breaking eye contact, you looked down at your feet grounding yourself. Kate is coming up and giving you a light shoulder check.
"Hate to interrupt your love birdâs moment, but the dinner rush is starting."
"Right," you said fingers squeezing John's hand before getting started. Placing an order for his regular, planning to at least feed him for everything he has done, you got to work taking your tables.
As skilled as you were, you had fumbled a few orders. Forgetting things, not filling drinks right away. But the heavy ring on your finger throws off your game. You would stare at it next to the pen and pad as you would take the order. As simple as it was, it was so beautiful. The glimmer catching your eye every now and then as if you were a bird. Something unfamiliar in the familiar. The lack of tips showed for it. Yes, you were floating because you were riding cloud 9.
Streetlights were starting to come on outside, signaling it was now getting close to closing time. Restaurant now empty, John the only "customer" inside. The door jingling open caught your attention as you saw Abel slip in, heading straight for you. Kneeling you hugged him squeezing him tighter than he was you making him laugh.
"What the fuck is that??" Your ex's voice fills your ears covering the laughter. Glancing up you were shocked to see him in your place of work. Generally, he steered clear, letting you at least have home and work to yourself. But after yesterday he apparently wanted to keep whatever his problem was going.
"What are you talking about?" You asked standing up, slipping Abel behind you, and pushing him lightly to the counter. Thankfully Kate was already waiting for him, hands outstretched with fingers waggling to get him away from verbal altercation.
"On your finger." He said pointing before reaching and snatching for your left hand. Pulling it away from him, you cradled it to your chest. The ring pressed as far inwardly as you could get it.
"Hands off her," John said arm in front of you slowly pushing you behind him like you had just done with Abel. Your right hand rested on his waist, letting him know you were still there with him.
"You can't be serious," your ex said over John's shoulder trying to talk to you.
"The way you treat her ends now. You will no longer be speaking to my soon-to-be wife that way. You'll get your time in court." John said taking a step closer, almost chest to chest.
The door jingled again, and you noticed the three that followed John around standing behind your ex. They crowded him, keeping the situation under control, but willing to turn violent if the time came.
"Why don' ya step outside mate, and have a littl' chat with us?" The biggest one wearing all black said, gripping your ex's shoulder and pulling him out the door.
John followed making you call out to him, "John," your voice warned. "He's still the father to my child."
"Not gonnaâ hurt him love, just gonnaâ lay down some rules," he said pushing the door open with his back, following his other war dogs outside. He rounded the corner out of your sight.
"You have my heart," Abel said pulling his classroom project to him, breaking you out of your thoughts.
"I always got your heart," you said leaning down kissing his head. "Start your homework while I clean and close up," you said roughing up his hair.
"Ugh...." he groaned, but doing as you said opening his bookbag.
After what felt like an eternity, you watched John come back in the other 3 following in behind him and sitting down at the counter.
"Can I feed them at least?" You asked referring to what they had just done.
"You don' feed the strays," he teased looking down the counter at them. "They ain't staying long anyways. Just enough to lock up and me to walk you home."
"You're walking me home?"
" 'Course I am, my ring your wearing wife to be." he bantered back to you making you go red. Using the excuse to have to go back into the kitchen and fill the mop bucket to hide it. Was useless, hearing the others snicker at your embarrassment.

You and Osamu are good cop + bad cop when your daughter acts up, for my Parenting event<3
requested by @nanami2ndbureau. word count; 611 â gn!reader
Letâs just say this situation was not ideal. Not all parents got called into the principalâs office because of their childrenâs mischief, but you and Osamu sure did. Your teenage daughter was in a bit of a rebellious phase and was seen holding a lit cigarette on school grounds, can you believe it?
The two of you sat on either side of her as the principal detailed the report filled out by the teacher who caught them. You listened intently to the principal while your daughter fiddled with her nails. Osamu had his arms crossed, more focused on your daughterâs reaction.
âWe do not condone this behaviour, sir.â You turned the charm on, a soft smile silently begging the principal to show some kindness in the situation. âShe has no prior bad marks, who hasnât tried a cigarette before?â
The principal pursed his lips, looking down at the report to give him a second away from your eyes so he could think. âWell⊠I would like to know who brought the cigarette onto school grounds.â
You turned to your daughter expectantly. âGo on, tell him you didnât bring them.â You briefly looked at the principal and added a small comment. âWe donât smoke at home.â Osamu briefly thought of the pack he had in his locker at work, which you knew he used for the occasional smoke break. However, you both agreed he would never bring that habit home.
The teenager crossed her arms, looking a lot like her dad at the moment as she mumbled under her breath. âNo way, my friends will get in trouble.â
âHeâs giving ya a chance to get out of that trouble, stop being so stubborn.â Osamuâs voice wasnât quite mean, but it wasnât nice either. You gave him a look before focusing back on your daughter.
âEverybody makes mistakes, the school just wants to take the right precautions,â you assured her softly, tucking some hair behind her ear. You always insisted she wear it up more to show off her face, but that only seemed to make her more insistent on keeping it down. Teenagers.
Osamu hummed in agreement from her other side. âTell him who brought it,â he said much more sternly than you did. Thatâs the moment you realised you were unintentionally doing good cop, bad cop.
âNu-uh. My lips are sealed.â
Your eyes met Osamuâs over your daughterâs shoulders, and there was no denying you shared this though: Thatâs right, we didnât raise no snitch.
Osamu looked at the principal, finally letting his arms fall loose from the tight knot. âThis wonât happen again, we promise there will be consequences at home.â
Luckily, the principal let her off with a warning, but she earned a detention for not snitching. Fair enough, you decided. On the way to the car, you told your daughter that you hoped she understood that smoking, especially at her age, can be very dangerous for her health.
âYes, mom.â She sighed dramatically, glancing at her dad who still hadnât smiled much. The two of you would probably have a serious conversation about his habit later after your daughter went to bed. âI think you should be proud of me, though. Snitches end up with stitches in ditches, like Uncle âTsumu says!â
âNu-uh,â Osamu retorted, making you realise where your daughter got that from. âSince when did ya start taking advice from that idiot?â
âI'm going to tell him you said that,â she insisted. You had to look away from them to hide your laugh.
"Oh, so now yer a snitch?"
Sure, parenting can be hard, but at least you chose the best partner to do it with.

Gym 101
In which Valerie forces Danny to go workout with her
[ao3]
Characters: Danny & Valerie Warnings: None Wc: 2,230
****
"You're not engaging your core, Danny. What do I keep telling you?" Valerie sighed and put down her weight. "You're going to fuck up your knees if you don't slow down and do this right."
"And I keep telling you I don't even know what that means!" Danny snapped, not for the first time this week and probably not the last.
When he told Valerie that he, Danny Fenton, was also Danny Phantom, Danny had been expecting Valerie to be so mad at him that she never wanted to speak to him again.
And, well, she had been that mad at him. Very mad, in fact. So pissed, that for a minute, Danny was worried she was going to blast him off her roof.
He hadn't stuck around long after that.
And while he was beginning to make himself comfortable in the campground called, "Valerie's Cold Shoulder," he barely had two days to settle in before she had seemingly decided that enough was enough.Â
Just before homeroom began, she strode to him in the hall, pulled him to the sideâliterally, she yanked him around the corner by his shirt sleeveâand demanded they start hitting the gym together.
"Because," Valerie had explained at his whining, and not patiently either, "I get that you have ghost powers, but your human half is such a twig. Seriously, Danny, do you know how much you're holding yourself back right now? If you actually tried strength training, I bet you'd level up pretty hardcore in ghost fights. Who knows? You might be able to train your reflexes to dodge one of Skulker's blasts from time to time."
And well, that bruise to both Danny's ghostly ego and his human teenage boy ego had been all he needed to agree to start working out with none other than his former rival turned ally, Valerie Gray.
"Stand up straight," Valerie ordered, pulling him back to his present world of pain.
He had no idea how Jazz and his mom liked doing this stuff. At the current moment, he was pretty sure the person who invented the concept of lifting weights was a giant masochist because there was simply no way in hell anyone throughout history would have ever said, "You know what sounds like the most fun thing ever? Let's take heavy objects, lift them, do a little movement, and then put them back down in the same spot we lifted them from!"
But apparently, he was the weirdo for not understanding why there was a dedicated fanbase of people who put a metal bar on their back, put some weights on the sides of the bar, squatted into a crouch, and then stood back up.
And repeated the process.
Again.
And again.
And again. Ten times, resting, and then ten more times.
Danny weakly stood, gripping the bar behind his shoulders like it was the only thing tethering his will to live to this plane of existence, and glared at Valerie through sweaty bangs. "Okay, standing. What next?"
"We godda fix your core."
"Be my guest," Danny said. He wasn't even sure if Valerie could fix something he'd never had to begin with, but if she truly wanted to, then...whatever. He'd lost by coming here, anyway.
Valerie scrutinized him as if he was some sort of science project that wasn't quite working out how she'd hoped. Which, thinking about it for a moment, he figured that was probably exactly what he was to Valerie.Â
Then, without warning, she put her hand on his stomach.
Now, Phantom was largely considered a very suave and cool hero. Well, maybe Sam and Tucker would disagree, and sure there was a whole TikTok tag dedicated to videos of him falling into random objects, but still. There were enough random people around who would agree that Phantom was at least somewhat socially sufficient.
But Fenton on the other hand was very much not. He was an awkward, goofy teen. He wasn't popular, and he didn't exactly have a lot of girls fawning over him at every turn.
Which was why Valerie, his former girlfriend who maybe he still had some deeply buried feelings for, touching him so casually was setting off all sorts of alarm bells in his brain.
"...got it?" Valerie was saying.
Certainly, she had said something.
Something that Danny was supposed to be listening to.
Oh, shit.Â
"Uh..." Danny tried to re-circuit his brain.
"Here, follow my lead. Okay? Breathe," she said. "Good. Now, tighten your abs."
Danny tried his best to follow.
"No, see, you're sucking in. Tightening your abs doesn't mean sucking in. It's like, okay, think of it this way. Try hardening your abs into a brick wall. Like, squeeze them together. Nowâyeah, like that. Now, can you try adding your side and lower back into that brick wall too?"
"Try adding what?"
The corners of Valerie's lip twitched up. "The sides of your stomach? You have abs there too. And there are muscles in your lower back. That's all part of your core too. Remember what I said about your core's job to keep your body stable? Those muscles are all important for that."
"Valerie, I think you're really overestimating how in shape I am. I didn't even know there was more than one ab muscle, much less that there were abs on the sides of my body."
"Well, you have them, ghost boy."
"Doesn't help much if I can't feel them."
Valerie rolled her eyes. "Well, just try your best."
"Yes, Ma'am." Danny did his best to follow her lead while also struggling to ignore the fact that her hand was still on his stomach.Â
He was so glad Tucker wasn't here to see his face. He could only hope that Valerie had come to the conclusion that the redness he could feel burning from his cheeks was proof that he was way more out of shape than she thought he was. That was still pretty embarrassing, and likely not even all wrong, but he would take it over the truth.
"Okay, now reset your shoulders. Stop hunching so much," she said.
"But the bar feels weird," Danny defended.
"Yeah, yeah, you'll get used to it. Stop looking down so much. You want your spine to be straight."
"I know."Â
Half of what Valerie had been telling him for the past week was to straighten his spine. He couldn't help it if his back was a visual representation of his many years of late-night gaming.Â
"Okay, now squat down." She leaned forward, and her dark eyes were just inches from his own. "Noâlook at me the whole time. Don't drop your eyes to your feet."
Oh, his face was burning burning now.
He slowly lowered his body, focusing on staying balanced as best as he could. Having a bar on his back was still a new sensation, and Valerie was refusing to let him load any weight onto it. Apparently, everyone started from an empty bar until they got the hang of the motion. Danny wasn't sure if that was something Valerie was just saying to be nice to him, or if that was actually true.Â
He did try asking, and she just got offended that he would dare think so low of her that she would lie about something gym-related, and then she told him to stop screwing around and focus on the exercise.
So, it was fifty-fifty at this point.
"Keep going down," Valerie instructed, stepping back and thankfully removing her hand from him in the process.
Seriously, that had been the longest several seconds of his entire life and half-life combined.
"But I thought you weren't supposed to go past ninety degrees or something?" Danny asked from his invisible chair-like position in his squat.
"No, that's a lie. I think they just tell that to people who have butt-wink or bad mobility or something."
"The hell is butt-wink? See, now I just think you're making stuff up."
"I'm not! It's actually something you're doing right now." Valerie pointed at him in the mirror. "See how your pelvis is tucking in and curving your lower back? That's butt-wink." She moved to stand next to him and lowered down in a squat. "See my lower back? It's straight. This is how you want to be."
Danny wasn't aware that working out would just give him more things to be self-conscious about. He tried to straighten his lower back, but it was almost impossible to do so without feeling like he was going to fall on his ass. "Okay, then how do I fix that?"
"Well, I'm not exactly a doctor, so I'm sure it could be caused by a few different things. But the most common one I've heard is that butt wink happens when your core is shit. But it could also just as likely be an ankle and hip flexibility issue too."
Danny rolled his eyes. "As we've established, my core is shit. And I'm not flexible at all. "
"Yeah, I know," Valerie lamented. "I can't believe you've been fighting as Phantom for all these years and you haven't gone to the gym even once. Isn't Sam really into working out or something? Why didn't you ask to be her gym buddy?"
"Because I value my life." Danny paused. "My half-life, whatever. Tucker worked out with her once to prepare for the President's fitness test they did freshmen year, and I didn't stop hearing about it for months. She's ruthless."
"You know what, I believe that."
"Yup," Danny grunted, lowering to do another squat.
Two down, about five million more to go.
People actually enjoyed lifting weights? They came to the gym willingly? As in, of their own volition?
They seriously sweated and lifted heavy objects in a room surrounded by a bunch of equally sweaty, smelly strangers who were lifting other objects?Â
And they thought it was fun?
That seemed absurd.
Valerie scrunched her nose at him.
"What?" Danny asked, his voice teetering past the line between speaking normally and whining, but he was far too exhausted to care. "Why are you looking at me like that? What am I doing wrong now?"
"No, it's justâ" Valerie tilted her head. "Try widening your stance more. And maybe try pointing your toes out a little bit. That should help with your form. I mean, ideally, your ankle mobility would be better, but given it's pretty shit right now, this might be the best fix."
"God, I'm hopeless. Just give me the word and I'll leave."
"Oh, stop. You're not hopeless. You just need to stretch more. And train more."
Danny shuffled his feet and bent down into another squat. Having a wider stand did make the squat feel easier, but he wasn't about to admit that to her. "No, I am definitely hopeless. It'll be a blow to my ego, but I think I can emotionally recover if I leave the gym right now."
Valerie punched his arm, though it had no real power to it. She'd long since stopped legitimately trying to hurt him.Â
Nevertheless, he would have sooner let Skulker capture him than pass up an opportunity to verbally torment Valerie. "Wow, I can't believe my ally is trying to beat me up and murder me in public. Especially while I'm trying to better myself in the gym."
"Oh, shut up." Although she tried to look angry, Danny could see the corners of her lips quirk into a smile. "Alright, your form is looking a lot better. It's still not perfect, but it's way better than when we started."
"Thank god."
"Maybe in a few weeks we can start adding plates."
A few weeks?
He must have let his internal expression show, because she once again snapped with, "It's normal for people to only squat the bar when they first start. It's way more important to get proper form than to lift heavy. You see that guy over there?"
She nodded across the room at a man doing chest presses. He was using weights that Danny could only dream of, pumping them up and down with a confidence that Danny was sure rivaled even Dash.
So the man looked alright to Danny, but apparently, that was the wrong conclusion to come to, if Valerie's critical eye was any judge.
"See how his elbows are basically straight out from his body? And see how he's not extending his arms all the way when he presses? He's rushing through the exercise. It's bad form, and while it may feel cool to lift heavy, bulky weights, if you can't even do the exercise properly, you just end up looking like a fool." She turned back to him. "Remember, you're in a gym. That means you're surrounded by people who have been doing this shit for years. Trust me when I say you're not going to impress anyone by rushing through the exercises to try to look cool."
"Aye-aye, captain."
It wasn't like he was going to impress anyone with the way he was wobbling while attempting to squat the naked bar, anyway.
"Alright, that's enough of a rest, I think. This time, let's actually do eight reps."
"Literal torture."
"Keep the whining up, and I might just call my blaster out."
Danny could see it in her eyes that she wasn't joking.
And so, he began.

Monday (current time)
âDo you think heâll slam the door in my face?â The hallways were buzzing with life as I tried to veer my way around the crowd of students without running into anyone. Today, out of all days, I just so happened to have my last class of the day in a completely different building and at least a good five-minute walk away from the arts building.
âItâs what youâd deserve, to be fair, butââ The was a gasp on the other side of the phone and my eyebrows furrowed as Seulgi muttered something to someone, muffled, âsorry, Wooyoung almost dropped my motherâs favorite vase, I told him to take off that blindfold.â
Eyebrows furrowing even deeper, I abruptly stopped walking, making a girl give me a heated glare that I didnât care for, âWhy is he blindfolded? Wait! I actually donât want to know.â
âWe were playing hide and seek with his niece, you idiot, but I got bored and sneaked away when I saw you calling.â Seulgiâs voice was exasperated and I chuckled as I took off again, leaving the science majorâs building as I nuzzled further into my thick scarf. Some days it was warmer, but most days it got really cold and I hated it. I couldnât deal with the freezing weather, perhaps it was my biggest enemy after Jeong Yunho, âAnyways, as I was saying, you deserve to be ignored by Mingi, but knowing how big of a sucker he is for you, heâll probably give in before you can utter a single word.â
My heart jumped at the thought as I gnawed on my bottom lip, cutting off the path as I hurried through the grass, uncaring that I was probably destroying the work of the gardener. Besides, the grass had barely just started growing out again, it would be fine, âYou think so?â
âI know so.â I heard Wooyoungâs high-pitched voice shouting from the distance and my eyebrows furrowed as I realized Seulgi had probably put me on speaker. Now that was a bit awkward, âHeâs an idiot, but heâs in love. Now that I come to think of it, you two are a lot alike, two idiots in loveââ
âI believe your niece is looking for you, babe.â Seulgi cut her boyfriend off and I was thankful because I donât think I couldâve handled hearing him say the words âin loveâ again. That was scary, even just the thought of it. I was barely coming to terms with liking Mingi, but hearing the word love sort of made me want to turn back around and abandon my whole plan of trying to make peace between the two of us. And Seulgi knew this, thankfully, because she didnât say anything about it again, âAre you on your way to his studio right now?â
I hummed and curled my fingers tighter around the thermos bottle, my nose cold from the weather as the arts building finally came into sight, âYeah, three minutes and Iâm there.â
âGood.â Seulgi sounded content and I sighed as I tried to ignore the dawning anxiety that tried to crawl through my body and make me abandon my well-thought-out plan. I had to do this. Seulgi and my mom were right, I couldnât mess this up again. I liked Mingi, a lot. He is a good guy and I shouldnât let my past and my fears dictate my life. Yes, Mingi is Yunhoâs best friend, but Mingi isnât like Yunho. Hopefully, âUpdate me later then, I love you Y/N, I hope you know that.â
I chuckled and nodded at the security guard as he was out of his cubicle, standing at the bottom of the steps, smoking his cigar, âI know, thank you for knocking some sense into me.â
âWeâll see about that later.â Her snort was amused and I shook my head as we said our goodbyes, the warmth of the building making me sigh out in relief as I entered through the front doors. I pocketed my phone and unwrapped my scarf from around my neck, greeting the familiar people I crossed paths with. I would be lying if I said I wasnât feeling nervous at all, after all, I didnât know how Mingi would react. If he was anything like me, he wouldnât forgive me so easily. Not when Iâve hurt him again and in the worst way possible.
As I ascended the marble stairs, I found stability in the thermos bottle clutched firmly in both of my hands now, its weight helping me to keep my determination and focus on going through with my own plan. When I woke this morning and went to take a quick shower, I was surprised to hear my motherâs singing and smell the delicious waft of pancakes, making my stomach growl loudly as I didnât have dinner the night before. It seemed like my mother had taken a day off, grumbling something about her deserving a day to rest after she was almost choked out by one of her mentally ill patients. I couldnât help but agree with her as we sat at the table in silence, enjoying our breakfast, that is until she cleared her throat loudly and stood up, fetching a mug and a cup from the counter next to the sink. I froze when I realized she was handing me the cup Mingi had designed with funny looking chicks on it, and I was even more confused when I realized it wasnât coffee I was drinking, but hot chocolate.
âSo, what are you going to do about that handsome fella?â I tried not to groan or regret the fact that I told her everything about Mingi. I took a tentative sip of the hot chocolate and realized it wasnât hot before taking a bigger gulp as I enjoyed its sweet taste.
âIâll talk to him todayââ
âGreat!â My mother didnât even let me finish as she sprung up from her seat again to fetch something from a cupboard, âItâs amazing how strong our maternal intuition is, I swear my starlight, you should make some babies soon.â
âMom.â I groaned as I watched her curiously as she took a blue thermos bottle from the cupboard and filled it with hot chocolate from the kettle, âWeâve had this discussion many times before, Iâm not having children so young.â
âYouâre not that young though.â She sent me a sheepish smile as my eyes widened, feigning hurt.
âIâm turning twenty-three?! How is that not young?â She cleared her throat as she sealed the thermos and walked back to the table to sit down.
âIâm just trying to inspire you, anyways,â She huffed and then placed the thermos on the table and pushed it towards me, âBring this to him as peace offering, heâll love it. Trust me.â
âI donât think what Mingi needs right now is hot chocolateââ
âFinish your breakfast and shut up.â My mother didnât let me finish as she cut off a thick part of the pancake with her fork and forced it inside my mouth, making me groan, âMothers know best when it comes to stuff like this, be thankful Iâm saving your relationship and be back before lunch. Iâm ordering take out, and I certainly am not waiting for late your ass if Iâm hungry.â
I knew fighting my mom was fruitless, so I just grumbled an okay as I tried to chew the pancake she had forced in my mouth, my cheeks all puffed out. My mother seemed content that I finally wasnât talking back to her and I shook my head as I pulled the thermos bottle towards me, reminded of the time when Mingi had brought me tea knowing that I would be feeling probably a little sick after getting all soaked in the cold rain and harsh wind.
So, now, with Mingiâs clothes in my tote bag and the thermos filled with hot chocolate in my hands, I couldnât help but feel optimistic despite the anxiety gripping at my thoughts. If my mother, Seulgi, and even Wooyoungâwho knew Mingi like the back of his handâwere convinced that everything would work out just fine, then why would I not believe that? Sure, Mingi was probably still annoyed at me, but I didnât think a few apologies and even more explanations couldnât fix the issue at hand. All I had to do was be honest and come clean with my feelings and heâd probably do the same and thenâthatâs where anxiety stepped in. Then what? Was I ready to pursue a relationship? Did Mingi want to date me? Did I want to date him? Why did it have to be Jeong Yunhoâs best friend I was into? Why could I not move past my fears and stop associating Mingi with everything I was wounded by, when he never once made me feel like Yunho did? I could dwell on these thoughts for an eternity, I fear, but I didnât have that time right now. And to be fair, I didnât want to think of such things right now because I could feel my determination wither the closer I got to the music majorsâ floor, heartbeat loud in my ears.
I stopped at the end of the hallway and took a deep breath, eyes settling on the studio I knew now was used by Mingi only. Wooyoung was nice enough to tell me the number of his studioânot that I had forgotten since the last time I was hereâand he also let me know that it was used by Mingi only, the teachers having granted him full access, even at hours when students were supposed to be at home. It seems so Mingi was a favorite amongst the teachers, and I could see why. He was diligent and hard-working; his lyrics were beautiful and nothing would stop him from fulfilling his dream of becoming a well-known rockstar. I couldnât help but feel excited at the prospect of that, and hoped that I would be part of his journey, that heâd let me back into his life.
Steeling my nerves and trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I knew there was no turning back. I wanted to do this, I had to do this. I had to stop sabotaging myself, and so, I marched down the hallway towards Mingiâs studio with a newfound hope and determination. Which lasted about five seconds as I came face to face with Mingiâs studio door. There was a small window on it, which would let you know whether the room was occupied or not, and it was straight across the desk where he was sat atâwith the blonde girl standing right next to him. And that should have been okay, because really, Mingi could talk to whoever and spend his time also with whoever he pleased. And itâs not like I didnât have male friendsâI didnât, Seulgi was my only friendâitâs not like he couldnât speak to one of his fans. After all, heâs made it clear she was nothing more than a fan he appreciated for helping spread the word about his band.
But then, why was her hand on his shoulder one second and the next second slowly trailing down the sleeve of his beige cardiganâwhich looked like it was messily stained with paintâand certainly the way my good disposal dissipated and was overtaken by blind jealousy and rage had nothing to do with the sudden possessiveness that shook me to my core. And perhaps the thing that bothered me the most wasnât even her feeling up Mingiâs arm as she looked down at him with sultry eyes, perhaps it was the way Mingi leaned back in his chairs, legs spread wide, and smirk on his lips as he looked up at her with his sharp gaze, allowing her to touch him. Perhaps thatâs what sent me over the edge as I barged inside the studio in the most unceremonious way, making the girl yelp in fright and Mingi flinch as his eyes widened.
ăBaby, you're all that I want
I want you all to myself
Oh, but you know me too wellă
And when I was angryâor panicking, or hurtâall rational thoughts flew out the window as I was led by nothing else but pure instinct and a shit ton of unclear and not so necessarily nice thoughts. Simpler put, I wasnât thinking nor making sense, but I couldnât care less as I glared at the both of them while I struggled to mask the fury licking at my veins. They were both looking at me wide eyed, as if I had caught them doing something I wasnât supposed to, and that made me snap before I could think through how to proceed with this whole shitshow, âGet out.â
For a second, even I didnât recognize my voice as it dropped a few octaves, fierce gaze set on the blonde girl as she paled, eyes scrambling between Mingi and me as, suddenly, Mingi seemed to snap out of whatever scare I had given him by slamming his door open and into the wall. God, I hope I havenât actually damaged it, because I certainly didnât have the money to pay for it right now. I couldnât look at the blonde girl anymore, heart beating fast in my chest as Mingi and I made eye contact, his eyebrows set in a deep frown as he had a sneer on his face.
âExcuse me?â God, even her voice was annoying. I looked back at the blonde girl and raised my eyebrows at her mockingly.
âAre you deaf?â I chuckled, but it was humorless, âDo I need to repeat myself?â
She huffed, looking offendedârightfully soâand I gritted my teeth as I stepped inside the studio, making it pretty obvious that I wasnât going anywhere before this bitch left. I tried not to see red as Mingiâs hands balled up into fists or the way the girl snickered, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
âYouâre the one thatâs barged inside uninvited, sweetheart,â And if I could have, I would have ripped her blonde strands out, âthis isnât your fucking studio, so, shut up. Mingi wants me here, maybe you should leave.â
I bit my bottom lip to stop myself from laughing, somewhere deep in my mind realizing I looked absolutely psychotic and if Mingi didnât hate me before, he certainly would hate me now. I wasnât helping myself; I was making everything worseâjust the usual, then. But this bitch wasnât stopping me from getting what I came here for, and I hummed as my eyes fell on Mingi again, whoâs jaw was clenching and unclenching. His sharp eyes were narrowed, but it seemed like he wasnât saying anything anytime soon and that only pissed me off more.
âSure,â I nodded and walked further inside, forcefully throwing my tote bag on the small couch against the wall on my left, making the contents of it spill out. I watched as both Mingi and the girl looked at the clothes, and Mingiâs expression flashed with something unreadable for a second, âMingi wants you here.â
I suppose neither expected me not to stop until I reached the desk, coming up on Mingiâs left side as I slammed the thermos bottleâalbeit too harshlyâagainst the desk, a loud bang echoing in the room. Mingiâs eyebrows furrowed as I opened my mouth to tell the girl to leave again, but suddenly, he was up on his feet, staring me down. The height difference wasnât that great between the two of us, but suddenly I felt small under his heated glare and sneer that seemed to settle on his lips, broad shoulders intimidating as he lowered his head just a little bit. He looked nothing like the Mingi I had gotten to know over the past few months, and it made my heart race as I realized I might not be able to reason with him today, âWhat the fuck is your problem, Y/N?! You tell her to get out when you barge in unwelcomed, and then start demanding for her to leaveââ
I couldnât even let him finish his sentence before I was firing back my argument, âOh, whatâs my fucking problem?! Maybe the fact that you lied to me?â
âAbout what?!â Mingi snapped, eyebrows furrowed as he took a step towards me, his body big enough to make the blonde girl not be seen behind him.
âOh, be for real.â I scoffed and rolled my eyes, âYou never show anyone your songs to? But you so conveniently let me listen to that unfinished song of yours and now look who else gets to listen to it? Her. If youâre so desperate to get laid, you should haveââ
âI didnât show her shit.â Mingi cut me off, voice shaking as his cheeks grew red from anger, probably. Mingi wasnât a scary person, but he looked scary right now. There was no ounce of kindness in his expression nor tone, he looked cold and angry and like he hated me. I gulped and realized, once again, that I was digging myself deeper into the shithole I had created for myself, that I was hurting him again and again. This is not how things were supposed to go, âI only showed you. That unfinished song youâre talking about, only you know about it. Thanks for reminding me again why I shouldnât deal with you anymoreââ
âStop it.â I snapped, eyebrows furrowing as I felt fear grip at my throat, making my voice sound shaky as Mingiâs expression went blank. I hated when he did that. I wanted to know what he was thinking about, I needed to see what he felt. I couldnât do this if he withdrew himself, I couldnât do this if I was the only one that would bare her heart to him. I was scared. He was pushing me away like Yunho had done, Mingi was abandoning me.
âStop it?â If I wanted to cry when he laughed in my face mockingly, impassive smirk settling on his lips, I didnât let it happen. I kept my composure, anger, hurt, desperation, yearning all mixing together as I found it harder and harder to breathe, âYou want me to be nice to you after all the shit you said to me on Saturday? You want me to treat you like before after everything thatâs happened? I canât. You hurt me, made me feel like a fucking idiot, Y/N, you brokeâI thought we were friends. I feel disrespected and played, and yet here you are again, acting like you have even an ounce of right to act the way you are right now, when itâs you who made it so fucking clear you want nothing to do with me anymore. Do you enjoy making others suffer? Do you want to see me on my fucking knees begging for your attention? I have enough self-respect to step back and move on with my life when someone so blatantly tells it to my face that I am nothingââ
âBut you arenât!â My tone raised without me meaning to as my heart continued to beat out of my chest so fast my ears started ringing. I felt tears prick at my eyes, but I didnât want to cry. I didnât want to victimize myself, I just wanted Mingi to understand I made a mistake, that I knew I did, and that I was trying to fix things. I didnât want us to part ways, especially not like this, he made me realize this second that I didnât want to lose him, âYou arenât nothing to me. I said those things because Iâm scared. I donât know how to navigate these feelingsââ
âSave it, okay?â I was left gaping as Mingi shook his head, pushing his hands in the pockets of his light denim jeans, âI donât want to hear whatever sob shit you have to say right now, Iâm asking you kindly to leave before I call security and delete my number, like I have deleted yours.â
The silence that settled upon us was deafening and my eyebrows furrowed as a tear rolled down my cheek without warning, my chest rising and falling rapidly as I tried to find my breath. That hurt, it hurt more than anything before, it hurt more than when Yunho left me, broke my heart. Mingi meant so much more to me than Yunho ever did, and I bit my lower lip as Mingi seemed unaffected, expression blank and rather bored. Nothing was making sense anymore. I was scared, but I also felt ready to break free of the chains of the past, I wanted Mingi. And knowing all this, I didnât want to hold back anymore, I didnât want to consider my next words anymore. I just wanted to speak my mind freely.
âMy ex-boyfriend is Jeong Yunho, your best friend.â Mingi had almost turned away from me, but he froze, head slowly turning back to face me once again, âWe dated back in high school, many years ago, when we were still some headless and stupid teenagers. But he was the first boy Iâve ever loved and he fucking broke my heart, shattered into pieces with a bright smile on his lips. He promised me many things, and I was naĂŻve, so I believed it all. And because I did, I ended up hurt beyond fixing and Iâve never trusted a man again. He was my first boyfriend and the center of my universe, yet he never cared enough about me to properly break up with me.
âYunho talked about you all the time. Everything you liked, everything you hated, you were part of our daily conversations and I always wished to meet you, to see what was so great in you that had Yunho gushing all the time. I was jealous, so jealous that I became bitter. I started hating even the mention of your name, I selfishly wanted Yunho to myself, and you gone from his life. I couldnât understand what was so great about you and why I wasnât enough. I knew Yunho didnât love me, but I wanted him to, so I made myself believe it, believe that I was worth more to him than youâll ever be. And in the process, I stupidly made myself believe that heâd never leave me, that he was the one for me like he has said so many times before.
âHe broke my heart so fucking bad that it took years until I could say his name or even see his face again. I am over him now, have been for a long time, but I canât help still feel bitter about him. I canât help but associate you with him at times. He made me defensive and untrusting of men, I couldnât help but assume youâd be just like Yunho when I first met you, at least when I finally realized who you were. I felt so guilty, I tried to push you away but you wouldnât fucking give up. You are everything yet nothing like Yunho and that scares me, because I want you, Mingi. But Iâm scared youâll abandon me like Yunho did, that youâll fill my head with empty and pretty fantasies and then leave me alone with them, tearing my heart apart in the process. I want to open up, but Iâm scared. I think, however, with you by my side, Iâd be able to do that, to let my walls down.â
The silence that settled upon us, once again, was deafening and I gulped, heart racing and making me feel lightheaded as Mingiâs face had fallen, expression finally not as void as before. He looked shocked, but surprisingly, he didnât look hurt nor like he would hate me for ever. It made me hopeful for a second, it made me sniff loudly and blink away the insisting tears from my eyes. He gulped and took a deep breath, making me stare in his eyes, hopeful and less scared, as he sighed and rubbed at his chin; a stubble was showing. Now that I come to think of it, he looks rather tired with bags under his eyes, and his platinum hair has a blue hue to it.
âIâm sorry he made you go through so much; I know it wasnât easy.â Mingiâs tone finally lost the edge it had before, finally it wasnât laced with so much anger, and it almost made me cry, âI kind ofâI knew. Not exactly the whole thing, but I suppose I can say I had a feeling that there was history between you and Yunho. It was too obvious whenever I brought him up that you didnât like him, at first I was confused, but then I suppose everything just clicked into place. The drawing of his eyes, the sweater you lent me and the fact that you gave it to me in the endâIâve known since then that it was probably Yunho. I never said anything to him, not like that at least, I wanted you to come to me on your own, when you fully trusted me with the information. And Iâm sorry, but heâhe was an asshole back in high school, he was insecure and he played with everyoneâs feelings, he was quite good at manipulating people around him. Heâs mentioned dating you, but very few times, and by the time you had broken up I had all but forgotten about you, I suppose I wasnât much better compared to him.
âBut all of this isnât my fault in the end, and while I completely understand your reasoning now and why you often acted the way you did, Iâm sorry, but I canât just let go of things and start anew. Thereâs justâtoo many things that have happened, emotions that you stirred up in me, and I just canât do it, Iâitâs not even about you and Yunho, I donât give a fuck about it, it was ages ago and Yunho is a changed man and I know heâs long moved on. And you too, I believe you have, you seemed less bitter lately, but I just canât. I canât help but ask again, what do you want, YN?â
At least he wasnât mad at me, but I did feel ashamed that I made him piece everything together on his own, that I wasnât capable of telling him the truth myself. I have made mistakes, sure, but Mingi apparently didnât hate me for them, âI just want to apologize, for everything.â
Mingi nodded and I watched in despair as that cold mask slipped back onto his face, expression void of any emotion once again. It made me want to grab his shoulders and shake them, force him to look deep into my eyes and just see everything I felt for him, âThatâs fine, I accept your apology. If thatâs all, you can leaveââ
âBut thatâs not all!â I snapped, having had enough of being dismissed by him. I saw the way his jaw twitched, the way his eyebrows furrowed at my defiance, at my reluctance to leave just yet. I was being pathetic and a pain in the ass, but I had to make him understand that I was ready to leave all my fears behind for him, to learn how to be a better person next to him. I wanted to change, and I wanted it to happen with him by my side, with him guiding me and teaching me how to be more like him, and less like the shitty person I was for so long. I longed to be the way I was before meeting Yunho, a lot happier and a lot less broody and hateful of the beautiful things that surrounded me, âMingi, I cannot stop thinking about you. I spend every waking moment when weâre apart wondering what youâre up to, whatâs going through your mind, whether youâre okay or not. And Iâve been drawing you, since the first time I saw you, youâve captured my attention, youâve made me curious of who you were the longer we spent time together. I donât want to be like this anymore, I donât want to hurt you anymore and shut you out, I want to fix everything. I want toâI just want you, Mingi.â
There was a quiet scoff behind Mingi, but neither one of us reacted to it as our gazes bore into each other, my eyes glinting with yearning and his façade slowly breaking down as he released a shaky breath, âMingi, I adore you.â
âGet out.â For a second, my body froze as I thought he was addressing me, but then, he whirled around and pointed towards the studioâs still open door, âGet out, now.â
And I just realized that the blonde girl had been witness to everything, and I couldnât help but blanch in embarrassment as she made to interject, but I guess Mingiâs sharp eyes made her reconsider her choice as she huffed and then stormed out of the studio. My cheeks felt hot and I realized the clothes were making me sweaty, so as Mingi hurried towards the door to close it, I shrugged my jacket off and placed it neatly on the back of the sofa together with my thick scarf. And as I looked up, mouth dry as the door clicked shut and Mingi turned around, it felt like time stopped, like the world stopped moving. But Mingi was moving towards me, in nothing more than three steps he stood in front of me, and before I could even as much as try to reason with him or plead more to be forgiven, warm fingers dug into my cheeks and the wind was knocked from my lungs as his plush warm lips slammed against mine, making me gasp as my eyes remained wide open.
ăFilthy impetuous soul
I wanna give it to youă
I thought he wouldnât want anything to do with me, I thought heâd tell me that he needed time to forgive me completely and for us to work things out. But I couldnât help shudder and feel ecstatic as I grabbed the collar of his shirt and cardigan, my eyes falling shut, as I pulled him closer to my body, savoring the kiss as if it was our first. But it wasnât anything like that one, it wasnât soft nor careful nor slow, it was hurried and desperate as Mingi pushed me backward, pressing me against the wall, right between the small space between the sofa and the desk. My arms circled his neck as he grabbed my nape with one big hand and pressed his other into the small of my back, making it arch as my fingers tangled into his soft hair, not pulling, just feeling the need to hold onto something, to keep myself grounded.
And much like the first time, our lips seemed to fit perfectly, and I tried not to keen when he sucked my bottom lip between his teeth, nibbling on the soft flesh, and I tried not to turn into a puddle when he hummed lowly against my lips as my fingers flexed in his hair. Perhaps I kissed him a bit harder and more aggressively as our pace quickened, my hand holding the side of his neck as Mingi pressed his body into mine until it felt like he was trying to forbid me even of the idea of escaping from his clutches, and I had no fucking intention of going anywhere, because in his arms I felt content and safe, and perhaps a bit too hot as goosebumps covered my arms the longer our lips moved hungrily against each other. And when I cupped his cheeks and perhaps held onto them a bit too firmly, his lips parted, and I ignored my lungs screaming for air as my tongue slipped past his parted mouth. I didnât expect him to moan as our tongues tangled together, all wet and perhaps a little disgusting, but neither one of us cared about that.
I tried to stand on my tip toes for better access as Mingiâs ring clad fingers were suddenly running through my hair and tilting my head back, making my skin tingle where he held my hip firmly. I had been kissed by other people before, but neither felt like with Mingi, neither made me crave more and more and more. But our lungs could only go on so long without air, and I wouldâve been embarrassed for the loud gasp I let out when we finally parted, if it wasnât for Mingi diving straight for my neck and finding the sweet spot that made me putty in his arms. And I tried to ignore his deep grunts as my fingers got tangled in his platinum blonde strands as he pressed open mouthed and wet kisses against my neck, his arms around my hips pulling me into an embrace that had my pulse showing through the skin of my neck. My lips were tingling and my lungs actually hurt, but I couldnât care less when Mingi finally pulled back and blinked his dark eyes open, pupils dilated and lips so swollen he almost made me chase after them once again.
ăOh, just to see what you'd do
'Cause I'm so drunk on youă
âWhatâs in the thermos?â His voice was raspier than usual, and it made me bite my bottom lip as my eyes searched his face, his falling on my lips instead.
âHot chocolate, for peace making.â I answered, sounding a lot more breathless than I actually felt, and Mingi chuckled, the sound deep in his throat. I let my arms fall from his shoulders and instead circled them around his torso, trying to fight off the smile from my lips. Mingi didnât look angry nor dismissive anymore, but I knew I wasnât actually forgiven just yet. And that was only fair.
âThis is peacemaking, not the hot chocolate.â And there it was, the mischievous glint in his eyes and the smug smirk on his lips as he squeezed my hips once and lowered his face until our lips brushed together, âAlthough I do appreciate the hot chocolate too.â
âGood, my mom was rather excited when she told me to give it to you.â I pressed a chaste kiss against Mingiâs lips before he could try and say anything, and he chuckled when I pulled away, eyes creasing and crooked front teeth showing.
âWhat are we now?â His voice was a mere whisper, not insecure nor scared, just wondering, âWhat do you want?â
I gulped, but decided to be honest. No more hiding my feelings and thoughts from him, âI donât know just yet, and thatâs why I need you to take the lead, but thisâI want more of this, of you.â
âGood,â Mingi hummed, lips pursed as he kissed my cheek once before slowly releasing me from his warm embrace, âbecause Iâve been wanting more of you for fucking ages, doll.â
I couldnât help but chuckle as suddenly I felt embarrassed and perhaps a little shy, but Mingi seemed to be unphased as he grabbed my tote bag and looked through it because his clothes were in it, âYou can keep these, they looked better on you anyway. But you better not give them to Yunho if he ever happens to go over to your houseââ
âMingi.â I snapped mortified and pushed his arm as he dropped the tote bag and burst out laughing, giving me a cheeky smile.
âWant to hear the rest of the song I made for you?â
âFor me?â
âYeah, doll, for you.â
By the time I managed to get home I might as well been on cloud nine and in so much ecstasy that one would think I was on drugs. Which, kind of felt like it after the day I have hadânot that Iâve ever done any drugs. I failed to notice my motherâs silhouette in the window of our kitchen when I got out of Mingiâs car and, of course, that meant she saw him get out of his old Honda Prelude and jog after me to kiss me hard and leave me dizzy before he left. And all of that, of course, meant that by the time I unlocked the front door and stepped inside, my mother was leaning against the archway of the kitchen with the widest smirk Iâve ever seen on her face.
âSo, did you have sex?â
My eyes widened in mortification and I struggled to step out of my boots and shrug off my jacket, âMom!â
âSo, you did, huh.â It wasnât even a question, and suddenly running after Mingiâs car sounded a lot better than standing in front of my mother as she bit her bottom lip, giving me a wink.
âWe didnât!â I exclaimed, cheeks flushed a deep red as I cradled the tote bag to my chest, âHe needs to take me out on a date firstâmany dates, actually.â
âWell, he better hurry up then cuz youâre glowing and youâre happy.â I froze at my motherâs words as she looked at me with a serene expression on her face, lips pulled into a small smile, forgetting all about her previous teasing, âHeâs good for you, too good. I havenât seen you so relaxed and happy sinceâsince highschool.â
Since Yunho broke up with me.
âI know, and I will make sure I never hurt him again.â I told my mom and she hummed, looking down at her wristwatch.
âYou missed lunch, by the way, so youâll eat chicken tendersââ
âAgain?!â
âAgain, exactly. Go wash up before dinner.â
And I was out of her sight in no time, with a newfound rush in my system, skin tingling as I realized I craved to hold my pencil and my sketchbook in my hands. I couldnât remember the last time I drew something for me and not because it was an assignment. And if hours later the sketch looked a lot like a familiar platinum blonde haired man with sharp eyes and a tall nose wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a beige cardigan over it, accessories many and nails painted black, then I wouldnât even deny it anymore. Perhaps he would love seeing my drawings. Perhaps I should finally show him.
Mings đ€: date on wednesday? Me: but im paying this time Mings đ€: so when we went to the pottery coffee shop it was a date wasnt it, doll Me: maybe it was maybe it wasnt Mings đ€: no maybes this time
ăOh, but you know me too well
Oh, but you know me too well, wellă

You had met Richie just about 2 months ago. It was safe to say, life had chewed him up and spit him out lately.Â
If he was being honest with himself, the dating pool wasnât exactly rich at 46 years old. He could count on almost two hands how long it had been since he got his dick up for more than just the binightly pornhub browser.Â
That led him into the Pink Pony Club one fateful August night. You were working your usual shift, Pixie Polestar. You - unlike some of the other girls - really enjoyed your job. At least, the aspect of having fun on stage, doing cute, sexy little acrobat-like tricks on the pole while horny men paid you to take more of your clothes off?
Yes please.Â
You werenât a back room kind of girl, usually. That was because the amount of money you made from tricks on the pole was more than a lot of the girls you worked with made in a whole shift while you just worked the 45 minute trick-filled stage set then would give a few $400 lap dances depending on your mood, before skipping on home, taking a hot shower, and slipping in your silk sheets with your air conditioner turning your bedroom something akin to an ice box.Â
That was how that night was supposed to go.Â
How the night really went, was some loud borderline obnoxious man at least 15 years your senior, had found his way into the Pink Pony. He was wearing a pressed navy blue suit, that complimented his pretty blue eyes. That was the second thing you noticed about him while he loudly whistled for Krystal who was currently doing her set.Â
You werenât really supposed to be here anymore - well- you didnât have to be here. You had found yourself a solution, a real career path if you will. But you enjoyed your time on the pole because it was art, and dancing was a confidence booster for you. In any regard, you were going to get older, you were going to pass your prime as the house mom was always telling you girls, so you needed another stream of income.Â
Of course, being a ⊠*eh-hem* - exotic dancer was the word you preferred, stripper just sounded trashy to you, did come with its negative stereotypes, one of which being no where will rent to you - because you had terrible credit. So, naturally, being the resourceful woman you are - you walked your happy ass to the open house of a for sale by owner showing, and told the nice realtor youâd take it.Â
Boom. Done, you had a place to live in 3 weeks, when you closed on it. Then, it dawned on you. The other girls you worked with had the same issue you did. So, you found another house, saved another 25k for the amount to put down, and rented it to your coworkers.Â
It was the perfect system, because you knew youâd get your rent. You knew exactly how much money each girl made because you watched them make it, you knew where they lived, and they had to look you in the eye every night. So itâs easy to say no one ever tried you. The only real reason you hung around The Pink Pony anymore was because you wanted to keep an eye on your girls and dancing was fun too.Â
When he first laid eyes on you, it was something akin to a cartoon character when their pupils turn into hearts. It wasnât too abnormal, you were one of the more bombshell-esc dancers at the club, and that isnât to say that you outdid anyone it was all based on preference. Some men loved plain Janeâs, and the plain Janeâs were just as beautiful as any of the other girls, but the reaction of men basically tripping over their feet to try and come talk to you was more likely going to happen to you then anyone else. Â
But heâŠdidnât come over, that was interesting to you. So, you being the master of customer service you were, took your drink and kept your eyes locked on his as you made your way across the room, and plopped right in his lap. âNever seen you here before sweetheartâ your manicured hand found the back of his neck, gently caressing over his skin.Â
He tried to play it cool, but your tits weâre basically in his face, he could smell your perfume perfectly, fuck he genuinely canât believe that a girl so beautiful just sauntered over and sat in his fucking lap. Was he dreaming? He found his mind racing, and for once in his 46 years he was dumbfounded and couldnât find anything to say.Â
âCat got your tongue honey?â You smirked a bit, gently cupping his stubbly cheek and rubbing your thumb over his bottom lip, pulling it gently before letting it snap back into place. He swallowed thickly, his hand resting on your bare thigh, just below the white glittery mesh coverup you were wearing.Â
âIâm Richie.â He blurted out, his cheeks felt like they were on fucking fire, any blood that wasnât rushing there was rushing to his cock and he found himself wondering when the last time heâd gotten hard so easy was.Â
âWell hello Richie. Iâm Pixie, what brings a handsome man like you in on a Friday night mm, no big plans?â You absentmindedly played with his chain, pretending to pay no mind to the long length that was hardening in the curve of your ass. All you would have to do is shuffle just a tiny bit and his cock would be nestled between your cheeks and the itty bitty powder pink g string that you wore beneath the tiny mesh piece of fabric that was basically for show and no use to cover anything.Â
âI guess I was lookinâ fâsome entertainment. Think I found itâ he spread his legs more, causing you to sink further into his lap and his hand found the curve of your waist, his thumb rubbing little up and down strokes over the smooth skin. He never believed that the sheer triple x rated porn movie he was creating in his mind would become a reality that night but man did it.Â
It was also his first night taking the dreaded viagra prescription his doctor had given him when he got real about his ⊠shortcomings as of late. The man isnât what he used to be stamina wise, okay? Nonetheless - he still rocked your shit - well, more like you rocked his.Â
Who knew this foul mouthed, old school, borderline toxic masculinity-entrenched motherfucker would get so much pleasure from your palm coming across his cheek just hard enough it left a yummy sting and telling him âMy eyes are up here you old pervertâ as you bounced on his cock with a rhythm he couldnât bring to the table himself anymore, and that in turn causing your tits to bounce like a fucking hentai film less then a foot from his face.Â
Something about a younger girl calling him old and smacking him around all while using his cock to get herself off, babbling about how good he makes her feel made him more confident then he had been in years.
He often would find himself feeling a little pang of sadness after you started seeing eachother, in moments where you two were laughing a way he only ever did with Mikey before you came around, and making him feel like he was in fuckinâ High school again with how giddy he was to see you after every shift. All of it would just remind him how bad he wishes you could have met Mikey, and how bad he wishes he could tell Mikey.Â
Richie knows, he would be so jealous, but in a brotherly way - that such a young hot piece of ass, a young smart, hot, funny, piece of ass was calling him daddy, told him he was âher mansâ whatever the fuck that meant. He assumed girls today call their boyfriends that, there were a lot of little phrases and lingo you had to explain to him and would always make fun of him for being old after doing so.Â
He would tease you too, having some late 80s early 90âs radio station on (because the old head didnât understand what streaming was) while he drove you around of course since he had learned from you that you were his âpassenger princessâ and saying something like âoh babygirl this is before your time, this is from my dayâ before cranking up the radio and serenading you with Bad Girl by Madonna, belting it in such a silly, dramatic way between drags of his cigarette you couldnât help but burst into giggles and kiss him at the next red.Â
You had told him that when you used to do private dances that Like a Virgin was one of your favorite to dance to for the âolderâ gentleman, he spanked you playfully when you said his crowd was older as he usually did, and of course later that night he had you perform for him and you ended up getting your back blown out to material girl since you had been streaming the song from your phone and didnât care to find it and turn it off.Â
When Tina had played it jokingly at family dinner one night, he couldnât help the smirk that came to his lips at the memory. Funnily enough, she was the first person to find out about you. Of course, he didnât divulge anything other than he was finally seeing someone consistently, nothing about your age or profession. Based on the way Tina had reacted with clapping and kissing his cheeks, gushing âIâm so proud of you papa! Thatâs so good, this is so good for you! You need to get out there moreâ he was reevaluating his social life or lack there of and telling himself he needed to get out more, which lucky for him you were young and bubbly so you could get him out of the house.Â
The next person he told, he really told, was Carmy. Well- technically Syd too, but she just happened to overhear.Â
âW-wait waitâ Carmy pinched the bridge of his nose how he did when he was baffled and confused, brows knitting together as he shook his head. âLemme- lemme just get this straight - yâdatin aâŠ..âÂ
âEx-o-tic dancer, cousin. Itâs 2024, fuckin hell. Women dance and get paid for it - no big deal.â He repeated, emphasizing each sound as if what he was explaining was the most casual thing in the world, which - you had explained to him it should be so he took that and ran with it.Â
âYouâre fuckingâŠa stripper- a stripper thatâs what theyâre called when they dance naked - and how old did you say she was?â Syd questions.Â
âHey- she leaves her panties on sheâs only naked top up, and plus she doesnât even have to anymore she does it for the art.â He points the spoon he was wiping down at Carmy âthis new NOMA bullshit weâre doinâ here isnât the only art, Cousin. Shes an artistâ he dropped the spoon in the bucket with the rest of the pristine ones heâd worked on.Â
âSure- and sheâs fuckin younger then meâ Carmy replied. âShe could be yâfuckin-â
âYeah, yeah - whatever she could be my fuckin daughter whereâs your girlfriend huh? I donât see anyone lininâ up to fuck you. Sheâs nice, and into me - and - and sheâs funny and smart. So see already 2 qualities named that I donât see much of around here so excuse fuckin me fâwantin to be happy when Iâm not in this shitholeâ he teasedÂ
âSo- this not even 30 year old, she is gonna be yâdate to the thanksgiving friends and family night - the one your daughter and ex wife are attending - and you think that will be a good idea considering tiffâs track record with girls you bring aroundâ Syd questioned.Â
âYupâ was all he said before taking the now finished bin of spoons to be put away, glad for the conversation to have finally been over.Â
He rehashed the whole conversation with you later that night as you slowly rolled your hips into his, your skin sticking to his, both of you covered with a thin layer of sweat. You had his hands pinned next to his head, fingers interlaced with yours, practically speaking into your mouth as you kissed him sloppy and open mouthed, obsessed with eachothers taste. You always tasted of bubblegum, a habit youâd carried with you since childhood, he always tasted of cigarettes, a habit he had carried since high school.Â
âBaby with my job Iâm used to people not understanding me - I didnât expect your friends to like me. My job - it can make people uncomfortable. But fuck them. You know how we feel huh?â You picked up the speed of your hips, using the curly deep brown patch of hair at the base of his cock to cause the most delicious friction with each thrust on his cock as you chased your orgasm.Â
âYeâ fuck em baby- shit- so fuckin tight- all mine right?â He breathed, mouthing over the bruises heâd left on your breasts a few nights ago. That was one thing about your job he had a bit of difficulty getting past, but you assured him you had no feelings for any clients and that you werenât doing lap dances anymore only your stage set and otherwise you were just there to be more of a second house mom. But still, he was a man after all. He was possessive, a little jealous sometimes. So he loved to hear that you were only his during moments like this.Â
âYes daddy- all yours. You own this- you own meâ you kissed his hand before bringing it to your breast and then using his shoulders as leverage to bounce further up and down, the action causing his head to fall back and jaw to fall slack.Â
âJust like that - god- fuck - holy shit baby- shit-shit- yâfuckin close? How fuckin long has it been?â He pinched your nipple lightly, causing your pussy to clench around him and a pornstar like whine to leave your lipsÂ
âItâs been 15 minutes- Christ youâre like a teenager. Canât even last 30 minutes?â You teased, leaning in and kissing his neck, biting and nibbling the skin as you circle your hips, essentially jutting the tip of his cock into your g spot and that floaty feeling sneaking up on you as you feel him shoot rope after rope of arousal, painting your pretty, gummy walls a milky white and his stomach muscles clenching at the overstimulation.Â
The grunts and moans that left his lips when you got him here were some of the hottest noises youâd ever heard a man make before, you were always sure to file them away in a special little folder in your brain for a rainy day he wasnât able to get you off himself. âFeel good daddy?â You asked sweetly, sitting up and resting your hands on his hips so you could look down and watch as your mixed arousals gush out of you and around him, thick strings breaking with each slow, purposeful roll of your hipsÂ
âSo fuckin good baby- Jesus gonna finish soon? Dunno how much more I can doâ he said, voice breathy, blissed out, nearly whiny.Â
âMmhmm few more minutes daddy- god weâre so pretty, I bet we taste so good mm?â You swipe the pad your forefinger over your clit, gathering the sweet and bitter white, making a show of rubbing it over the hardened bud of your nipple âfeels good, too, wanna tell me how it tastes?â You leaned in and he nearly groaned as he took your breast in his mouth, crystal like eyes seeding into your own gaze as he flicked his tongue gratefully around the sensitive nub.Â
You whined hotly, the sight of your tit in his mouth mixed with the feeling of his pants huffing through his nose and fanning over the swollen flesh as his tongue swirled and licked and flicked and drove you over the edge. You cried out, hips stuttering as you rode out your orgasm. His hand found your heat, rubbing with scissored fingers over your clit and meeting around his cock before dragging his fingers back up to repeat the assault.Â
The action had you gushing around him, the contractions of your heat getting stronger causing him to groan into your skin and that vibration just added more stimulation. âFuck yes- god daddy- always make me feel so good, no one understands how good we make eachother feel hm? Nothing else matters, baby, as long as you feel good, right?âÂ
You pulled him in for a sloppy, hot, passionate kiss. A kiss that made his heart do flips, and his stomach flutter, and made him feel way lighter.
Richie thought to himself in that moment he may be falling in love again, and he was equal parts fucking terrified, and excited to see where things with you went.Â
He just had to get over ripping off the very last bandaid, and then you could really be together -
And that bandaid was Tiff.

Your Grace
Aegon Targaryen II x Reader
Warnings: Smut, Porn Without Plot, Cunnilingus, Overstimulation, p in v english is not my first language so probable there are mistakes. mistake of typing. shitty writing in general. Aegon ooc, anyways i hope you enjoy
You and Aegon have been engaged since you two were twelve. you pass time together since then knowing each other, making a precious bond, you two walk in the gardens, have dinner together even Aegon takes you on a ride in his dragon. You love Aegon from the start. He can be so sweet with you and make you smile even in your worst moments. He was there when your father died and supported you and took care of you.Â
he loves you as well, you see and bring out the best in him. Your relationship had a hard time when during fifteen and sixteen Argon was drinking all the time and going to brothels that hurt you deeply but you know he was just a broken boy who used these things to escape from the pain to not be loved by his mother and father. with a lot of effort and patience you achieved to get out from the box he got himself in. Since then he has done nothing but reward you for loving him even when at his worst moment.Â
with the death of Aegon dad and you two turning nineteen you finally get married since Aegon was the new king was the perfect moment. The funny thing is even now with all you two been through you keep saying him by his title. He ask you in multiple occasions the you tell him by his name at least in the privacy of your chamber but he didn't have success you still call him ÂŽÂŽYour graceÂŽÂŽÂ
Aegon goes into the chambers you two share after a long day with the council and addressing people's complaints. you are just with your bed clothes a white nightgown of the finest fabric, one of Aegon's many gifts.
- Your grace, how are you? - you ask him when he get in and you help him to undress
you always wait for him with a warm bath after a long dayÂ
- is a nightmare all the world complains all the time, the plebs, my mom, Otto and Aemond going around with that judging face. i'm just too tired i don't even want this- he complains
you finish undressing him and you help him to get in the bath. - I know your grace, you have a lot of responsibilities... but is a honor being in his place and no matter what say Otto, Aemond or his mother you must feel proud and do all you can to the people of the realm be okay -
you take care of him, flattering him, cleaning him to take the stress of him Â
he let out a sigh - it's just to tired -Â
- i know your grace and that's why i made to bring the best food and wine of the castle - you tell him while you help him to get out of the bath
he smile at you warmly - you are the sweetest thing in the world - he say grabbing your face and giving you a soft kiss in the lips
you blush deeply - thanks your grace-Â
he let out sigh - my dear... already told you to call me by my name when we are in private -
you smile at him - your grace you know this is a lost battle - you say filling a cop with wineÂ
- it is? maybe are something i can do about it -
he grab the cop of wine and drinking it all in one gulp
- and what would that be? your grace - you mock of himÂ
he grabs you by the face and kisses you deeply, his tongue going inside your mouth. You cling to his arms as he kisses you. he cut the kiss and talk to your earÂ
- i'm going to make you cum until you say my name -
now you are blushing to the bone - wha.. what? -Â
He takes you to the bed and makes you lay down. He climbs on top of you and kisses you deeply and goes between your legs. The kisses go to your neck leaving a trail of saliva, his hands on your thighs caressing up and down. you let out a sigh and arch your body to his touch. his hand go between your legs touching you core softly
- god you are so wet my dear - he say caressing with his fingers up and downÂ
you let out a moan, a knot beggins to build in your stomach. his finger buried inside you going in and out your legs trembling and and your breathing is agitated. he can notice you are so closeÂ
-yeah that's it cum for my baby -
and you do it the orgams hit you like a flash you see white for a moment your body trembling and dripping around his fingers
your chest go up and down and aegon look at you with a smile
- how it was? -Â
- that.. that was amazing your grace - you say still catching your breath
him narrow his eyebrows - well... good, but your still dont say my name - he say while start to going downÂ
you can feel his breath on your centerÂ
- wait... your grace im still sensitive - you say trying to get him outÂ
- that's the point darling -Â
a smile on his face while grab your hands to stop you from getting him out and licking your cunt. your arch your back at the feeling closing your thighs around his head instinctively
he let out a little laugh - we just started honey -
he let out your hand and you grab his hair letting he lick softly your clit you are not sure if you want more or he stops. whatever you only can moan while your legs shakes from the pleasure.
he make out another orgams from your body his chin dripping with your fluidsÂ
your breath still heavy and you are completely tired but before you can even think lay down and put you on top of himÂ
- that was amazing honey but still i'm not hearing what i want - he say while grab you by the thighs and make you sit on his face
You can't fight, your thighs are shaking and you can even try to get up. He starts licking your clit, that sends you a shiver down your spine and you whine. you can't handle more of this your brain is a messÂ
but still a third orgasm start to build en your stomach, Aegon tounge going in and out your cunt while his nose press your clit all you can do is moan loudly. instinctively you star to move your hips riding his face you can feel de smirk agaisnt your cunt.Â
you come again your clint tingeling and your cunt twitching while you hold to the head of the bed.
Aegon gently lowers you down and lets you lie down. your chest going up and down and your lost gaze on the ceiling, you can feel him kissing you and caressing you
- are you okay? - he ask youÂ
you nod is all you can do. and you can feel him getting between your legs again. he rubs his hard cock on your weetness and you squirm for de overstimulation
- your grace please not i can't anymore - you say whining

baby headcannons | j.m.
synopsis: in which you and JJ are teen parents
my masterlist
it was unplanned, of course. neither of you were ready for a baby
you were very sexually active and forgot to use protection on one too many occasions
when you told your mother, she was surprisingly supportive of you, having been a teen mother herself
JJ's father didn't take it very well, as expected
JJ told you he wanted to go and talk to his father alone because he didn't want to risk Luke hurting you in a fit of rage
when he finally came back, he had some cuts on his face and a bruise forming on his jaw, but he didn't seem as scarred as usual
JJ moved into your house with you, wanting to be there every step of the way
your mother helped you through every crisis you had, she always gave you tips and shared experiences with you to put you at ease
the Pogues were over the moon at the idea of a baby coming into this world
John B was skeptical at first because he knew of JJ's weed and beer habits, but he soon got over them when he saw how much JJ had changed since you found out you were pregnant
Kie was probably the most excited out of everyone at the idea of being an aunt. She was always talking about how many clothes she would buy the baby and how spoiled it was going to be
Pope didn't know how to feel, he was just kind of...there. He was happy for you, obviously, but that was about it
about six months into the pregnancy, you noticed a big change in JJ's attitude. He stopped smoking weed, he drank beer on very few occasions, he went with you to every doctor's appointment, he worked day in and day out to make sure he would be able to provide for your little growing family
he was also the most supportive father-to-be ever. He massaged your back and feet when he saw how uncomfortable you were, he always went out to get you food when a pregnancy craving would wake you up no matter the hour, he set up the nursery without a single complaint, he was taking his role very seriously
of course, there were some people who judged you for being pregnant when you were only 18, especially Kooks, but JJ took care of them every time
when it came down to labor, he was probably more stressed than you were
your water broke in the middle of the night, taking both of you by surprise
he took care of your hospital bag while you went and woke up your mom
the drive to the hospital was fairly quick, but to JJ it felt like an eternity
you were in labor for about 4 hours before you were told you could start pushing, which sent JJ into a fit. He had been told it would be at least 10 hours before you had to push, why was everything moving so quickly?
when it was time to push, he was right there with you. He gave you his hand to hold, not complaining the tiniest bit about you crushing his bones and stopping his blood circulation
he knew how much pain you were in birthing his child, which is why he didn't dare say anything
after 30 minutes, your beautiful baby daughter was born
you felt so much relief when she was finally out, throwing your head on the hospital bed while breathing heavily
hearing her cry was probably the best thing you had ever heard, knowing your daughter was here and healthy
JJ leaned down and pressed a kiss to your forehead, whispering praising words into your ear
"I can't believe how strong you are. You did so good, baby, I'm so proud of you. I love you so fucking much"
when the nurses cleaned her and wrapped her up in her pink blanket, they passed her over to you for her first feeding
JJ was in awe as he watched you feed your daughter, so naturally that it seemed like you had been doing it for years
the baby opened her eyes and outstretched her little hand towards JJ while eating from the bottle you were holding
JJ reached over and put his pointer into the little girl's hand, who immediately grasped it and held it in a tight grip
she had JJ's blue eyes and blonde hair while she had your nose and mouth
she was the cutest thing in the world in your eyes
neither of you have ever felt a love like this for a human so tiny. she was the center of your universe, the product of your love
despite every prejudice people had of you, you were going to rock the parenting thing
as long as you had each other, you were going to be okay
comments and re-blogs help us grow!
much appreciated!!
