i was talking to rpf girl about dyke nixon today. WE TALKED SO MUCH ABOUY EVERUTHING shes awesome... sigh... i wish she was more into the idea of Going Out Side. like i understand being a hermit but come onn... play with me

we talked about girls we liked today😏 and she rold me shes never been in a relationship etc etc and didnt know what to expect or what she even wanted. but we did talk abt the girls we like on the telly... and she watches like house of dragon stuff AND SHES NUMBER 1 SUPPORT WOMENS WRONGS i love her actually shes so me... i showed her pictures of the ladies i like and i struggled breathing I ACTUALLY GO CRAZY LOOKING AT BEAUTIFUL WOMEN. but yeah... we talked so much... like 3 hours... shes awesome and so so cute... and she likes the ginger ladies😏 SOOOOO TRUEEEE GIRL HIGH FIVE

As of today I have come out to my family and friends, and it has all gone fine-to-great, most commonly completely uneventful.

wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???

Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.

First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.

yknow i never noticed the sheer rareness of images having ids or alt text on this website until i started adding alt text to my art (and trying to remember to add it to any images i post in general, especially text screenshots) and that makes me kinda sad

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Apparently the local university’s undergraduate entomology course sends students to catch insect specimens at the same place I like to go birdwatching, which explains why I saw three enormous frat looking dudes with tiny bug nets and overheard one emphatically say “bro BRO I told you we already have enough lepidopterans”

being someone who's passionate about their interests when you're a horror fan really is a special layer of hell because every interaction you have with another person where the conversation turns to your hobbies and personal entertainments is a trial where if you show too much unrepentant glee at getting an opportunity to talk about your preferred subject you get to watch them mentally move you onto their list of untrustworthy individuals to avoid in the future in real time

one thing that took me embarrassingly long to learn is "sometimes when people say things, they will not be true."

I used to tell people about this revelation and they'd be like yeah.....duh.....but like, why wouldn't my base assumption be that you're communicating to me in a straightforward manner. anyway, I get scammed a lot.

We moved on WAY too fvking quickly from this…
