that’s the thing!! i didn’t even list any specific nonbinary van headcanons. just the thought of van being nonbinary seemed to upset them. they did the whole “well there’s nothing in canon to support that bc van uses she/her and adult van clearly hasn’t transitioned. so she’s clearly 100% a woman and it’s weird to think otherwise” like seriously? during pride month? smh the lesbophobia. anyway, as for specific headcanons, i’d say van gets top surgery. i think they really like the terms “boyfriend” and “handsome.” i also like to think that tai reads books on lesbian history like stone butch blues in order to better understand van and help them feel validated. feel free to share your own headcanons!!! van is just so gender to me

Like that’s peepaw. tai would definitely be diligently doing her research to make sure van is comfortable she’s always van’s #1 defender and to me van always being clearly Different is one of the things that first attracted her to van… van is such an escape from the own standards she puts on herself and him being so Outside everything in terms of like expression is what makes van a breath of fresh air to her. van isn’t afraid to Be himself and that’s the boldness that tai likes and is initially attracted to. i think unfortunately van was the type who as an underclassman always got asked out by shitty upperclassmen boys as a “joke”… and i think van never ever shaved. as per being a redhead it’s not insanely noticeable but it’s thick and bushy and everywhere… obviously tai thinks it’s mad hot. and me personally i always switch off using he/him and she/her for van, so i’d think van would only tell people he’s close to to use he/him and doesn’t mind she/her all that much. but You Know… those are the ones that are off the top of my head but i’ve been jotting down a bunch of taivan headcanons (both for them separately and them together) so i’m sure that’ll debut inevitably. LOL
