FEATURING. dazai osamu x f!reader & f!reader x chuuya nakahara — wc: 15.1k
SUMMARY: you'd always been in love with Dazai, but you started to doubt that he'd ever cared for you in return. chuuya, though, had never shown you anything but true affection.
CONTENTS: nsfw 18+ ONLY, pm!dazai, pm!reader, mostly dazai x reader but…, unhealthy relationship dynamics, voyeurism, cheating, manipulation, smut, degradation, guns, angst, dazai is very bad at expressing emotions, pet names, horrible communication, unrequited (?) love, the list goes on bc they’re in the port mafia just be warned
note: this took me like 4 months to finish & i am so so nervous to post it lmao. i wanted to write something different & this is very outside my comfort zone! :) but it's dazai's birthday so i figured i might as well share it today
Tumblr media
You rolled onto your side away from Dazai, still breathing heavily as you came down from your high.
Beside you, he had shifted onto his forearms, moving up against the headboards to sit up straight. The covers fell off of him, revealing the marks that you’d left all over his body, the scars from a life lived in the mafia.
Under the red silk sheets, you were silent, your head settling into the pillow as you stared at him.
He’d deny it, but he was beautiful, a tempting, alluring creature that you couldn’t get enough of.
But you also knew Lucifer had once been God’s most beautiful angel, and it only made sense that Dazai Osamu would hold the same kind of exquisiteness.
Dazai closed his eyes, rolled his neck as he leaned back, stretching out all of the stiff muscles. He didn’t touch you again, kept a distance as he wiped the sweat that had dried on his forehead, the fluids that had stained the sheets between you.
He used to talk to you, after something so intimate. Used to hold you in his arms and trace your skin with a gentleness you didn’t know he possessed. He hadn’t always been cruel when he fucked you, hadn’t always put his own needs before yours.
Of course, Dazai had never loved you. That was something you were certain of in your very core. But he’d held at least some shred of respect for you before becoming the head of the Port Mafia. Now, you didn’t think he saw you as anything more than a means to an end.
It didn’t matter, though. It didn’t matter that Dazai spoke to you minimally when you two weren’t alone, that everyone in the Port Mafia knew you were nothing more than the woman who slept in his bed.
It didn’t matter because you loved him. You’d stood by his side since the beginning, since he’d recruited Chuuya, since he’d lost Oda.
Since he’d killed Mori.
You’d been with him through all of it, seen every horrid side to him, and you’d never once wanted to escape. Dazai had his claws in you, and he had them in deep. The thought of being anywhere but with him had never crossed your mind.
“Akutagawa told me what happened yesterday.”
You blinked, snapping out of your haze as Dazai regarded you with cool, condescending eyes. He was peering at you from over his shoulder, picking his dark button-up off the floor. The skin on his back was red from scratches, the lines dragging through his taut skin.
“Did he?” you said, looking down at your nails. You hadn’t expected anything less. Akutagawa did everything in his power to get exaltation from Dazai. “I’m sure his report was thorough.”
Dazai’s jaw clenched. His eyes narrowed, a darkened tint flashing in them. “That’s all you have to say?”
His voice was unamused, icy, and it reminded you that no matter how many times you crawled into his bed, let him use you however he wanted, he was still your boss. He was Dazai Osamu, the man whom everyone in Yokohama feared.
You swallowed. “I’m sorry.” Your gaze twisted away from him, unable to meet his hardened expression completely. “I was distracted. It was my fault entirely.”
Dazai made a noise in the back of his throat as he moved out of the bed. He sauntered across the room, so quietly and cat-like, and you buried yourself deeper into the mattress, wanting to sink into it completely.
“You’re lucky, then, that Akutagawa was able to deflect the bullets.” He began replacing the bandages that had slipped off of his face, covering his cheek with disgust.
He let you see him completely when it was just the two of you. It took every ounce of your self-control not to read into that, to wonder if it was just a habit leftover from when you were younger.
“I am lucky.”
Truthfully, you’d only hesitated for half of a second, momentarily lost in your own loop of suffering, and your opponent had gotten an edge on you. They’d shot at you, then the bomb, nearly prematurely blowing up the building.
“After decades of work, I would’ve thought you’d know better by now.” Dazai sighed wearily, like your presence irritated him. It probably did. “I’ll consider moving you. I’m sure there’s a place for you where you can’t get yourself killed if you fuck up.”
“Dazai—” you swallowed, a horrid tasting stinging your mouth as you remembered your time with him had come to an end. He was back to being Mori’s underling, the man who looked at the city like it was nothing but a chessboard. “Boss,” you remedied quickly, all too used to addressing him differently. It was difficult, sometimes, to recognize where Dazai began, and the Port Mafia’s boss ended. “It was a stupid error. In all the time you’ve known me, have I ever done something like that before?”
Dazai hesitated momentarily, before tensing his shoulders. He didn’t answer your question. “Don’t let it happen again.” A warning was in his eyes when they met yours through the mirror. “I don’t have the patience to find a replacement for you, and Akutagawa’s too valuable an asset to lose to a seasoned professional’s careless mistake.”
You exhaled, looking back down at your hands. The ones that had already been stained in so much blood, wrought with crime and bad intent. “Understood.”
You finally climbed out of the bed, missing the warmth that it gave you, even though Dazai’s cold body always sucked it away. He laid so stiffly next to you most of the time. You remembered when he used to sleep with his forehead pressed to the back of your neck.
As you dressed, Dazai kept his eyes on his work, never paying you any attention. You felt discarded, useless, and you wanted to hate him, wanted to hate yourself for longing to wrap your arms around him, hug him from behind.
“I’ll send you with Chuuya tomorrow,” he said, scanning reports and assignments that he’d thrown aside lazily last night. “An easy assignment outside of Yokohama. Think you can manage that?”
“Just give me the job.” You snatched the paper out of Dazai’s hand, and he didn’t say a word, only watched as you perused it. It was, really, the simplest task he’d given you in the past few weeks. You’d felt like he’d been overworking you just to avoid you. “Fine. I’ll take it.”
Dazai’s smile widened, sinister, and wicked. He brushed his hand delicately over your shoulder, against your neck before patting you on the head. “I trust you won’t let me down.”
Going against every sensible atom in your being, you smiled wearily. His minimal display of affection warmed you, a deep pang settling in your soul. “Have I ever?”
“No.” He held a sort of awed fascination, twisting a part of your hair between his fingers. “How lucky someone must be to be my greatest enemy. To get the kiss of death from an angel is not such a bad way to die.”
He held your cheek in his delicate fingers, and you were putty in his hands, wishing that his eyes would soften, even by a fraction. That his hand would cup around his cheek like he meant it.
Instead, he pulled away, and you felt cold, cold, cold, drowning in your own emptiness.
You scoffed, trying to regain some power in the situation. “I’m no angel.”
“Hm,” Dazai hummed, dropping his head in his hands, resuming a spot behind the desk, the deep red chair much too similar to the one in his office, the one that Mori had inherited from the previous boss. “Perhaps not to others.”
And you grew hot, feeling that, maybe, Dazai was giving you a compliment.
It was at times like these that you saw the semblance of your previous relationship. When you could tease him without feeling the weight of his superior rank looming over you. When you could kiss him without tasting venom. When you didn’t have to wonder if it would be appropriate to touch him, or if you should keep your distance.
You wanted to quit him. Really, you did.
He was a horrible, loathsome person.
You’d never be able to stop loving him.
“I could never be any sort of heavenly creature, Dazai. My spot in hell was sealed the moment I sided with the Devil.”
Dazai laughed, the sound raw and dry, so humorless. “I hope you don’t mean me. Flattery will get you nowhere,” he tsked, the tip of his tongue scratching against the back of his white teeth.
You certainly hadn’t meant that as a compliment.
“Should I say goodbye before I leave?” you asked wryly, doubting that he’d even want to see you again. His image burned against the back of your eyelids, and you drank him in, hoping that when you died, his face would be the last thing you saw.
Dazai didn’t grace you with a simple yes or no. Instead, he glanced up briefly, his one eye exposed, mere centimeters of skin uncovered. “Goodbye.”
You nodded; lips pressed tightly together as you accepted the dismissal. With a sigh, you were out of the room, wondering why you hadn’t just showered before you left. Most of your clothes were in Dazai’s closet anyway.
Tumblr media
You didn’t see him again before you left.
The assignment Dazai had given you was a few cities over, a task of infiltrating an enemy organization who’d gotten a little too close to the Mafia’s boundaries. It was simple enough, especially with Chuuya at your side, though the whole ordeal had you away from home for a weekend, and far too much time with your own thoughts.
Dazai had set the two of you up in a suite, one with two separate bedrooms and a shared living space. It was much more luxurious than you even needed, with a view overlooking the entire city and an extensive bar in the kitchen. The furniture was a deep, black leather, every accent dark in color.
It was conspicuous, but you’d grown too used to extravagance after being with Dazai. You allowed yourself to indulge in it.
A silly notion, really; the place you slept every night was much more lavish.
You scrubbed the blood off your face, your hands, and stared at yourself in the mirror without recognizing the person before you. The water at the bottom of the shower was a macabre shade, staining the tiles as it swirled down the drain.
Shivering, you tried to reconcile all of the things you’d done, shelve them away before you could wonder if all of it was really worth it. If Dazai was really worth it.
When you finally emerged from the bathroom, your skin rubbed raw, Chuuya was sitting at the bar, a freshly cracked bottle of wine before him. His back was tense, muscles strained as he regarded you with weary eyes, the darker shade under them obvious and alarming.
“Took you long enough,” Chuuya snorted, pouring himself a glass. The bottle was aged and dark, the label faded. He must have brought it along with him; it certainly hadn’t come from the hotel. “I was getting bored.”
You made a face, taking the seat beside him. “Well, there was a lot of blood.” You reached over to snatch the bottle, pressing it to your lips before he could protest.
“Help yourself, then,” His expression was sour, but his acerbic tone held a hint of amusement. “Do you know how expensive that is?”
“No.” You shrugged, taking a sip. Money had stopped meaning anything to you a long time ago. “Should I care?” The liquid warmed your throat on the way down.
“Probably not. You’ve surely got enough cash behind you to buy me another one.”
“Right.” You snorted and wondered how much of that stuff you’d have to drink before you’d stop feeling a thing. Thoughts of the crumbling bond that you and Dazai shared wouldn’t leave you alone. “And you don’t?”
Chuuya laughed, twirling the glass in his gloved hand. There was a hardened edge to him that you didn’t like. Opposed to Dazai, Chuuya had always been much more open with you, more willing to share his thoughts. “Well, we can’t all be Dazai’s favorite. You’ve got the keys to the kingdom, my dear. Whatever belongs to the Mafia belongs to you too.”
“Favorite?” You spat out the word, darkening at the mention of Dazai, the man who never seemed to leave your brain. It was always Dazai, Dazai, Dazai. The youngest executive there had ever been, the one who’d become the head of the Port Mafia just a few years later.
You hated him. Wished you could burn the memory of that haunted man entirely.
“Hm?” Chuuya leaned forward like he hadn’t heard you.
A bitter flavor blossomed on your tongue when you thought of saying his name out loud. “I don’t want to talk about Dazai right now.”
You brought the bottle to your lips again; it was starting to feel lighter.
“Why?” Chuuya’s eyes dimmed as he stared at you, looking for something hidden in your irises. A secret that wouldn’t be there. You’d always been too easy to read. “Did something happen?”
“I said I don’t want to talk about Dazai, and you immediately think something’s wrong?”
He blinked. Hesitated. “Well, I spent my teenage years listening to you talk about him like a lovesick fool. The subsequent years watching him stare at you in the same way.” He took the bottle away from you, tipping his head back. “Something must be wrong.”
You felt a flush at your neck, the skin itching with sweat. It was cruel of Chuuya to allude to any emotions from Dazai, when you knew they weren’t there. “That’s not true.”
Chuuya sighed. “Isn’t it?”
Although his temper had always been much worse than yours, you felt the same sort of anger claw at your back. The urge to scream at him became almost insuppressible. “Dazai doesn’t care about me like that.” You flopped down on the bar, alcohol fuzzing the edges of your senses. It felt nice, warm.
Maybe being away from the Port Mafia was better for you than you thought.
“Don’t be stupid.” Chuuya’s eyes had narrowed when your head fell forward, his fist clenching around the bottle.
“Stupid?” You immediately sat up, blood rushing straight to your head. Who was Chuuya to come and tell you everything he thought he knew? It was laughable, really. “He doesn’t care, and I think I’d know. Fuck you, Chuuya.”
You slammed your fist down on the table, hurt. You didn’t understand why Chuuya would side with Dazai when he knew how much the situation troubled you. How often had you bared your soul to him, told him how Dazai’s aloofness had hurt you over and over again?
His eyes softened, an apology immediately leaving his lips. “I’m sorry—”
“Are you?” The words were vehement. Chuuya was shamelessly against your relationship with Dazai, always coming up with one reason or another to get you out of it. Now, it seemed, he was trying to defend it. “Dazai cares or he doesn’t. You can’t keep changing your mind based on the situation.”
“Dazai does care.” Chuuya said the words like they pained him to leave his mouth, each one dragging a dagger against his chin. “You think he’d keep you around if he didn’t?”
You did. You knew that you had use outside of Dazai’s feelings, just like Chuuya, just like Akutagawa. Just like every menial grunt who had a shred of value for the Mafia.
“He cares that I have value to him.” A sigh left your lips, and you sunk your chin onto your palm, feeling like nothing more than the dramatic woman in a Shakesperian tragedy. Really, you couldn’t remember when you’d become so pathetic. “What will become of me when I can’t sink a bullet into the skull of his enemies anymore?”
Chuuya frowned, the wrinkles deepening on his forehead. “No one can predict what Dazai will do.” He let you steal his half-full glass of wine, keeping the bottle safely tucked away from you. “Would it make much difference to you if we could?”
“I suppose not.” You’d grown tired, the subtle buzz of alcohol coming in quick on your empty stomach. “Nothing matters much anymore. I’ll never leave the Port Mafia.” Saying the words out loud made it more real than you’d intended, even though it was a fact that had sunk deep into your bones the day you’d met the dark-haired, suicidal bastard. “Why do I have to love him, Chuuya? Why can’t I love a good man?”
You thought, why can’t I love you instead, and left it unsaid. The words might have been too cruel. You knew the pain of unrequited emotions.
“Because you’re in the Port Mafia. Good men would know to stay away.” Chuuya drummed his fingers against the countertop before reaching out, contemplative. Though you remained unmoving in your seat, his hand still retracted before he touched you, as if burned. There was caution in his movements, every action calculated—Chuuya was usually the opposite, as intelligent as he was. “Besides. You’ve never tried to let Dazai go. You don’t want to.”
“I want to,” you said defensively, though even to your own ears, the statement was weak. Dazai was an addiction, and you’d go back to him time and time again. Even when, sometimes, you weren’t so sure there was anything good about him. “I just don’t know how. What would I do out there in the world without Dazai?” You laughed, amused. A normal life didn’t seem possible—you’d have no idea where to start.
Chuuya’s face pinched in disgust. “Take over the Port Mafia. Kill him and run it yourself.” He huffed, running a hand over his eyes, exhausted. “There’s a solution. If you really want to get rid of him.”
You blinked back at him. A moment passed; you’d forgotten he was looking for a response.
“I suspected as much.” His shoulders slumped, defeated, as you drew back in shame. “How long will you talk yourself into this endless cycle of torment? Dazai isn’t the same man that you fell in love with, and he never will be again.” He met your eyes, cold and guarded. “There’s nothing to be done about that. If you want Dazai so badly, put up with every single part of him. I’m tired of listening to the same grievances, time and time again.”
Chuuya made to stand, but you stopped him, grabbing his wrist lightly. He glared at you from over his shoulder.
“I’m sorry,” you said, trying to convey your apology sincerely. “You’re completely right. I’ve never tried to let Dazai go, and maybe I can.”
You didn’t give Chuuya time to formulate a response. Before he could understand what was happening, you leaned forward, catching him off guard, and planted your lips on his.
For one singular moment, Chuuya had kissed you back, tasting your mouth in its entirety, before he shoved you away, scrubbing his skin like he’d been burned.
“Don’t do that.” He had a hand in your face, scolding you like a child. “Don’t ever fucking do that again.”
You stared at him; his dark eyes were full of an emotion you had never seen before. “Why not? You said I should try to let him go.”
“Not by kissing me, fucking hell.” Chuuya hissed, his voice just above a whisper like someone else was listening in. Something vile had been unleashed in him as he gesticulated around wildly. “You’re Dazai’s.” He scoffed. “Do you think any smart man would do anything with you, knowing you sleep in that monster’s bed every night?”
You sniffed, sticking your jaw out. Maybe, you’d been wrong all this time. Chuuya was like everyone else, wasn’t he? Holding you at a distance because you cared for the wrong person.
“I’m not leaving the Mafia. I’m not leaving Dazai.” You reached across the table, grabbing one of his cold hands. “I just want to be someone else for once. To know what it’s like for someone to care about me so completely.”
“It’s not going to be with me.” Chuuya yanked his hand away, laughing mirthlessly. “I never thought you’d try to manipulate me like this. “You’ve been spending too much time with him.”
Your eyes flashed, infuriated. Chuuya looked at you with some kind of betrayal, like he wasn’t the exact same way, like he wasn’t the same kind of vile person that you were. “I know you’re in love with me, Chuuya. I know you’ve looked at me since we were sixteen years old, wished so badly I would look at you the same way.”
His jaw clenched, the anger giving way to something else. “Don’t start.”
“You’ve wanted me all this time, haven’t you?” It was a genuine question; one you’d always been too scared to voice. Chuuya was the only person you considered to be a friend and knowing that he felt that way about you would ruin your friendship completely.
Though you had one sip too much of alcohol running through your veins, and you’d spent two days wondering how you could stop feeling a single thing for Dazai. Rationality had left you entirely.
Chuuya was silent, still watching you with hesitance.
“You’re the only person in the Mafia who really cares about me, aren’t you?” you said, softer, wondering if you could lure him in. Spring him into a trap you’d both be certain to regret in the morning. “You’re the one who talks to me about everything, who watches out for my well-being. Who’s never looked at me like I was anything but the prettiest girl in the world.”
And though Chuuya still didn’t trust your actions, his eyes had softened just a hair, his body releasing the tension. “You are.”
You smiled, but his compliment made you feel nothing but guilt. “Then why won’t you let me kiss you, Chuuya?”
“Because.” He scraped a hand over his face, breathing heavily like it was taking every ounce of his willpower to resist you “Dazai will kill me, you understand? He’ll kill you.”
“Wouldn’t you at least like to know?” You invaded his personal space. Each word you spoke cracked him a little bit more. “I know you’ve imagined me spread out before you, entirely exposed to you. How I’d look with my hips arching off the bed, crying out your name—”
“Stop it.”
“I’m right, aren’t I?” You felt like you were losing your mind. Something had cracked in you, and you couldn’t come back from it. Things would never go back to the way they were after those careless words had been tossed into the world. “You’ve always wanted me, so why, when I’m giving myself to you completely, won’t you accept?”
Chuuya swallowed. His voice had grown thick with desire. He raked his eyes over you cautiously. “You’re asking a lot from me, baby.” He held your cheek, grazing the bone in the gentle way that Dazai had forgotten. “Believe me, I want to. But you’ve had a lot to drink.”
“I haven’t,” you said, grabbing his wrist before he could pull away. The touch of another person felt so nice against your icy skin. “I’m okay. I’m not drunk.” You weren’t—the alcohol had just made you brave enough to ask. “Please, Chuuya.”
He swallowed thickly. “He’ll kill me.”
“And he’ll kill me. Just as you said.” You met his eyes completely, wondering why you couldn’t care for this man in the same way, why his lips weren’t as alluring as Dazai’s, why his voice didn’t set a blaze deep in your stomach. “Do you really care whether Dazai thinks of me as his?”
His cheeks were flushed, eyebrows pinched, and you spotted the moment he began to draw back. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. I just can’t.”
Then, you panicked, eyes becoming glassy as he released you, turning to retreat back to his bedroom, and you scrambled for another way, a way to bring him back to you.
“Chuuya, please,” you said, desperation in every syllable, and when he turned around, you knew you had him wrapped around your finger. “I just want to know what it’s like with a person who loves me. Can’t you give me that?”
That was it. That was all you had to say. When Chuuya bowed his head, you knew he’d given in.
“Why do you think I can give you what he can’t?” Chuuya’s voice was nothing more than a whisper. “I’m not that kind of man. I’m not the kind of man you’re looking for.”
“No,” you said. “You’re not that kind of man. You’re Chuuya. The only person that’s always been there for me.”
He hesitated, momentarily, before sweeping you into his arms, his touch the softest you’d ever felt. “Are you certain that you want this?”
“Yes.”
“Then it doesn’t matter if Dazai kills me.” Chuuya spoke into your mouth, carving the words into your aching heart. “You were always going to be the death of me, anyway.”
His lips were upon you again, kissing you with the hunger of a starved man, and you gave him back as much as you could, which was the despair of a lonely woman. His touch was one of loving hands as guided you back into the bedroom tenderly.
When your back hit the bed, he asked if you were okay, asked if everything was comfortable. The concern in his eyes had rarely been seen in Dazai’s own—you couldn’t remember the last time he’d taken care of you first.
“I’m fine, Chuuya,” you promised again and again, and you smiled, caressing the soft skin of his jaw.
His lips pulled back in return, and then your shirt was thrown over your head, carelessly tossed towards the corner of the room. Though, no matter how many articles of clothing you lost, the necklace that Dazai had given you still rested against your collarbone.
You cupped your palm around it, trying to avert Chuuya’s gaze as he stared down at the precious metal, something conflicting in his cool irises.
“It’s okay,” you said, doing your best to distract him. You wouldn’t take the necklace off. It didn’t matter how much Dazai had hurt you; you needed the reminder of the absolute infidelity you were committing. “Keep going.”
Feeling more anxious than you had before, you kissed Chuuya, trying to dispel the bile that gathered in the back of your throat.
“You’re so beautiful,” Chuuya said, kissing every inch of your face, his hands hovering over your chest. “I could look at you forever, and it wouldn’t be long enough.”
Chuuya’s sentiments warmed you, but words weren’t enough. You pulled his vest off, then the buttoned-shirt and every other intricate article of clothing he wore.
It felt wrong. His height was wrong. His skin felt too warm under your palm.
“When did you fall in love with me?” you asked, breathing heavily. Desire pooled in your abdomen against your will, your own heart betraying you. Still, it was nothing more than the most basic reaction of human nature, raw and primal, unaffected by the organ that was jailed within your ribcage.
Chuuya was surprised by the question, and he paused, his face just inches above your stomach. “I think I realized when I was seventeen.” He huffed out a laugh, inhaling your perfume. “It was the first time I saw Dazai kiss you. I thought I was going to be sick.” He continued kissing down your body, sliding your pants past your hips. “I’d always wanted you. I guess I just didn’t realize until then.”
You exhaled, feeling tears spring to the corners of your eyes, ones you suppressed.
Dazai had given you flowers that day. You remembered how they smelled, the rainy spring breeze. The way the sun reflected in his brown irises, melting them into candied honey that brightened his entire complexion.
“Then take me, Chuuya. If you’ve wanted me for so long, then fuck me like you mean it.”
His dark eyes flashed, but his gentle caresses never turned rough, never sped through a single moment you had together. You smiled, your expression peaceful and open when he finally slid your panties off, your cunt throbbing as his finger brushed against your swollen clit.
Chuuya took his time with you, singing praises that you hadn’t heard in a long time, and you came once around his slender fingers, the ones that were much less skilled at knowing every place you enjoyed being touched.
When he finally sunk inside you, you still felt empty, unfulfilled. You tried to lose yourself in his mouth, in the taste of wine and Chuuya, and dug your fingers into his back.
“Feel so good around me, baby.” Chuuya whispered into your skin, imprinting the words into your neck. He was careful not to leave any marks, though he wanted to, wanted to claim you as his own. “Taking me so well.”
You tugged on his hair as he kissed down your collarbone, between your breasts, his breath hot and heavy. Though you cried out, you kept your voice quiet, still fearful that someone might hear, might know exactly what kind of betrayal you’d committed.
Chuuya thrust into you slowly, so much gentler than Dazai, hitting the spot deep inside of you that had you arching off the bed. “Fuck,” he said, choking on his own breath. “You have no idea how you make me feel.” He was full of desperation, his hands digging into your hips.
“Chuuya,” you said, holding his head between your palms.
He gave you the brightest smile in return, sad and meaningful. “I know. I can feel you squeezing me tighter. Let go for me, doll.”
His hair was just as soft, but it wasn’t dark enough, wasn’t short enough. His kiss didn’t feel the same, and you felt tears blurring your vision as you realized you’d never wanted him, you only wanted Dazai, and this was all wrong.
Still, you came around him, as he was buried deep inside you, but his name never left your lips, not even as a breathy whisper, because the one that was sitting there was Osamu.
And when he pulled out of you, you stroked him with practiced laziness, moving your hands in the way you knew Dazai liked, even though Chuuya felt so much different in your palm.
Chuuya kissed you as warmth flooded into your hand, and then he was breathing heavily, collapsing onto the bed next to you. He kissed you over and over, holding you tight, and you smiled, satisfied, because at the least, you knew this was what love felt like.
You’d never get it from the man you wanted, so you’d take it from Chuuya, even if it made you feel rotten inside.
The room smelled like sex and betrayal, and Chuuya took care of you, carried you out of the bed for a bath, and gently rinsed away the sweat and grime.
You were silent for most of the time, only reassuring him when he asked if you were alright.
For the first time, maybe you were. You imagined a future where you could learn to love Chuuya, a future where you were finally able to rid yourself of Dazai and start over again.
But it was nothing more than a delusion, a dream that would never happen. Dazai was a part of your soul. You knew that and Chuuya knew that, even as he closed his eyes next to you, the woman that would never give her love to anyone else. Your heart beat and bled for Dazai Osamu, every inch of your being meant for him. It would kill you to let him go, and if he died, you’d die right alongside him.
You turned away from Chuuya, burying your face in your hands, completely unaware that he’d left the bed to sleep in the other room.
Tumblr media
You didn’t talk to Chuuya the next morning, not when you took a private car back to Yokohama, not when you stepped foot back onto the Mafia headquarters. Things between you had soured, just as you’d suspected, and you didn’t know how to fix it, didn’t think there was any way to go back from what had happened.
Higuchi was waiting for the two of you when you walked in the door, her blazer perfectly pressed, and her shirt tucked. She greeted you with a half-smile—gesturing towards the stairs. “The boss wants to see all of us for a meeting. He said you two would be arriving at this time.”
You nodded, and Chuuya scoffed, shaking his head. “I’ll never understand his superhuman ability to know what’s happening all of the time.”
Swallowing, you followed Higuchi, trying not to hear the foreboding nature of Chuuya’s statement.
Most high-ranking Mafia members were in attendance, with Dazai at the head of the table, the dark wooden chair beside him eerily empty and welcoming. You took a seat, and Dazai’s eyes ran over you, smoothly and hastily, before a small smile appeared on his features. “No injuries?” he said, and though his tone was professional, you could hear the slightest bit of concern.
“None,” you said, and something in your voice cracked, ever so slightly.
You were such a fool. You’d never be able to hide something like this from Dazai.
He eyed you suspiciously, before sliding his glance over to Chuuya, who was as cool as usual. His face was shadowed by his hat, hiding any evidence of a sleepless night.
“Chuuya,” Dazai said, tucking his palm into his hand. “Debrief.”
Your partner gave Dazai every last detail, summarizing as best he could, and sliding in the occasional sarcastic remark as he leaned back casually in the chair. Dazai listened with boredom in his expression, drumming his fingers against the table until Chuuya’s monologue was complete.
He turned to Akutagawa, who bowed his head an immediately launched into his own assignment.
You blinked—you hadn’t realized that Akutagawa’s squad had been sent elsewhere. It made no sense for Dazai to send you with Chuuya when your own division had a separate mission.
The meeting wrapped up quickly, and the members scattered, going their own separate ways for the afternoon. Chuuya refused to meet your eye as he got up from the table, one of the last to leave the room.
As you stood, Dazai closed a hand around your wrist, his thumb brushing your pulse.
“Was the hotel alright?” he asked, his head titled curiously. “You look tired.”
You took a sharp breath.
Fuck.
“It was fine, Osamu,” you said, and when his name slipped easily from your tongue, something in him changed. He loosened the hand on your wrist before releasing it entirely, the bandaged palm falling into his lap. “Thank you.”
Dazai nodded, turning away from you, and you’d forgotten that there were still other people in the room. Akutagawa, who lingered with morbid curiosity, and his sister, who had always sort of pitied you for your tumultuous relationship, bore witness to the brief interaction.
Behind them, Chuuya stood tense, his back straight as he crossed the threshold, sparing you only a glimpse before exiting into the darkened hallway.
“Alright,” Dazai said in a hushed voice, his face schooled back into the usual, guarded expression. “I’ll see you later.”
It wasn’t much of a response, and he didn’t elaborate, keeping his steely eyes ahead as some low-ranking members trudged in for a meeting with their boss. He’d be busy all afternoon, it seemed.
You swallowed, and left, knowing that it was fruitless to try and keep a secret from him.
Chuuya waited for you outside, his arms crossed as he regarded you with a contempt that hadn’t been there before, such a contrast to the loving man you had seen last night. “This changes everything, you know?”
“I know,” you said, your voice thick with unshed tears. “I’m sorry, Chuuya.”
“Don’t be sorry,” he scoffed. “I was the fool. I made my choice.” Chuuya sighed, scrubbing a hand over his face. “I meant what I said, though. Yesterday. It was all true, and if you need anything, I’ll be here.”
You felt a chasm open in your chest, and you wished the floor would’ve swallowed you whole. You were losing everyone, it seemed, and maybe, Dazai really did have a point with his talk about suicide.
Tumblr media
When you stepped into the bedroom, Dazai was sitting on the edge of the bed, the setting sun casting a shadow of his own reflection. He was twirling a pistol around his pointed finger, staring at the wall with blank eyes.
You shut the door quietly, your hands shaking against the golden knob.
Though you hadn’t made a sound when you walked through the door, Dazai’s gaze was on you immediately, sensing your entrance.
You’d never been able to slip past him.
“You’re back early.” Those were the first words that came to your mind, your voice breaking the uncomfortable silence. He was regarding you with disdain, his jaw set coolly. His hair turned bronze in the evening rays, loose strands scraping against the bandages.
“I am.” His jaw clenched, examining you with a singular, dark eye. You felt exposed under his gaze, laid bare for him to see no matter how much you shrouded yourself with. “You sound like you’re unhappy to see me.”
Dazai ran his finger along the trigger like he’d never held such a weapon before, the gun becoming an object of morbid fascination.
You exhaled. There was so much space between you, a distance you weren’t sure you’d ever cross again. Though you thought you knew Dazai better than anyone, in that moment, he was unreadable—a chapter of pages that had been torn out.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” you said, standing tall. Despite your nerves, you were fixated on Dazai, always drawn to him like a moth to a flame, desperate to uncover the very thing that could kill you. “I miss you every time we’re apart. You’re no stranger to my feelings.”
You could offer him that, at the very least. An undeniable truth before everything between you shattered.
Dazai stood, his dark coat billowing out behind him as he finally came to face you, suddenly seeming much taller than you remembered. And with one look, you knew that he knew. He’d always been too smart for his own good.
“I’m not certain of that any longer,” he laughed, though it was a bitter sound that clawed its way up his throat. “Why don’t you tell me the truth, instead.” Dazai stood before you with a smile that was so sweet it was almost sinister. “Aren’t you going to tell me what you did?”
You weren’t sure which one of you would blink first, caught in some deadly staring contest. Most people would’ve surrendered to him by now.
“Why?” you jutted your chin out, refusing to give in to him in any way. If you were going to die, and you were, you would make sure Dazai knew everything you’d never told him. “You already know.”
“No.” He poked the gun into your cheek, right beneath the sharp bone. He’d clicked the safety off moments before. “I want to hear you say it. You betrayed me.”
When you refused to say a word, Dazai hissed and cocked the gun. He pressed it to your temple, the metal cold against your delicate skin.
“Say it.”
You sniffed. He wasn’t giving in, and instead, stood there silently, unmoving until you finally caved. There was something about the color of his eyes. No matter how much they hardened, you still remembered the young man he used to be. The one who wasn’t quite so cold, who picked you flowers, even with blood dripping down his arm.
“Fine.” You narrowed your eyes. “I fucked Chuuya.”
Dazai blinked. Then, he started laughing. Crazily, maniacally. You saw too much of your old boss in him that it made you sick.
“Shameless.” Dazai took a step back and dropped the gun to his side.
“What?” you sneered, pressing yourself up against him, refusing to be intimidated by the man that had been yours for years. “Should I be ashamed?”
Dazai’s eyes flashed, his jaw clenching. “Yes,” he said, fists curling at his sides. “After everything I’ve done for you.” Dazai grew quieter, flicking a strand of hair out of your face. “Do you feel no remorse?”
“You can’t be serious. What have you done for me, Dazai?” You grew still, grabbing his wrist before he could touch you again. “You’re not upset I was with another man; you’re just upset that it was Chuuya.”
You poked him in the chest, a hot stream of air exhaling through your nose.
“I gave you everything, didn’t I?” The two of you spoke at each other, avoiding the answers, never acknowledging what the other had to say. Around and around you went, an endless circle until one of you finally conceded. “I’ve given you the world, and you still wanted more.” Dazai finally broke free of your loose grasp, stroking your cheek. “What can Chuuya give you that I can’t? I ask for nothing but honesty.”
There was no jealousy in the tone, no sorrow; it was the most genuine question he’d asked you in months. The inquiry of a man who’d lost sight of himself in the past few years, and who’d somehow, over time, forgotten what it meant to care for another.
“You gave me nothing,” you said, but somewhere along the way, your cheeks had grown wet. You’d been struck by the sudden affection in his voice, the softness harsher than a slap to the face.
He was a horrible man, the worst kind of man. Yet, you couldn’t imagine a life without him, a world where you existed alone.
The truth rested at the edge of your tongue. It wouldn’t solve much, your affection for him never had solved much, but at least he would understand.
“This was never about wanting more. I never wanted Chuuya. You’re a fool if you think that.”
Dazai was silent. You pressed on.
“I wanted you. I’ve only ever wanted you. I’ve devoted my entire life to you. I do everything you ask.” You were breathing heavily, big gulping breaths that contained minimal oxygen. “I asked for nothing in return. Nothing but for you to care about me, and you never did.”
“Is that the case?” Dazai laughed humorlessly.
You ignored him, your confession leaving on one heavy breath, a string of words incomprehensible to your ears. “But Chuuya loves me. He always has, and he made certain I knew that.” You paused, averting your eyes. The entire city could be seen from the window over his shoulder. “He told me all of that, and you know what I thought the whole time?”
Dazai scowled.
“I wished that he was you instead. I wanted it to be you so badly, I wanted it to be you saying those things to me, kissing me like I was the most important thing in the world.” You took his wrist again, pressing the gun back to your temple. The cool metal was almost soothing against your skin. “Please, Dazai. Give me this one last thing. I’m begging you to kill me. I can’t take this any longer.”
His finger rested on the trigger.
“I want it to be you. I’ve never wanted to die at anyone’s hands but your own.” His hand felt just as it always had in your palm, his fingers much longer, but his skin so soft. It was almost comforting, how familiar he was, and you longed to be a part of him, to bury yourself deep within him and wear his skin as your own.
Dazai’s expression twitched, and you smiled at him, the taste of salty tears spilling into your mouth.
As you closed your eyes, you prepared for the noise, hoping your blood splattered on Dazai’s coat and stained it, the proof of your existence inerasable. You hoped that Dazai would grow to regret it, would realize that your love for him was close to unconditional.
But the violence never came. The cool metal fell away from your skin, and when you opened your eyes again, Dazai’s shoulders had slumped, the very image of defeat.
“Do you honestly think I can bring myself to kill you?”
“What’s the matter?” you asked, blinking your eyes open. You reached for the gun again, but he drew back, as if stung. “Afraid to lose your best assassin?”
“No.” Dazai’s eyes were hard, his frown set deep into his face. “I’m afraid to lose the woman I love. The most important person in the world to me.”
You stared. Blinked. Then, the worst kind of emotion washed over you.
You swallowed over and over, trying to get the bile out of your throat. You’d wanted to be done, wanted to escape. And yet—
“Don’t say that.” you shook your head, backing away as Dazai inched closer, too close and you felt yourself getting sucked back in, remembering that you’d loved him for years, and you’d never love anyone else. “Fuck you, Dazai. Stop toying with me, and just kill me."
“I love you. I thought you knew that my darling angel.”
You were crying harder, shaking your head. “I don’t believe you. You don’t care about me.”
“No?” Dazai had grabbed your wrist again, but it was so soft. “I thought you were smarter than that. Did you think you were partnered with Akutagawa at random, and not for the sole reason that I knew he’d do everything in his power to protect you? Did you think I moved your seat next to me at meetings because you were nothing more than my stupid whore? Bought you everything you ever wanted because I couldn’t stand you?”
“Yes,” you said, sniffing, feeling yourself melt where he touched you, itching to reach up and pull the bandages off his face, see the beautiful features beneath them that he hid from the world. “You don’t care about me."
“I do care,” he said, fingers grazing your chin. “I’ve killed for you. I took over the Port Mafia so I could give you everything you wanted. Why wasn’t that enough?”
“Because I never wanted that. I never wanted any of this. I wanted you, Dazai Osamu. That was all.”
Dazai frowned, and then he bowed his head, kissed your neck, then around your earlobe, and it was the softest you’d ever felt in your entire life, a gentleness you hadn’t known he was capable of. When his hands snaked around your stomach, pulling you back against him, you were lost in his adoration.
“You never said anything,” he said, kissing your shoulder, breaking the tension in the muscles. You were his, in every lifetime, you’d be his. “I thought you were… happy?”
“How could you think that? I’m not happy, Dazai. I’ve never been less happy.”
“Not even when I tell you that I love you?” he kissed your knuckles.
“Do you love me enough to be a better man? Do you love me enough to let me sleep in your bed and see your whole heart instead of the fragmented pieces that you sliced up just to hide?”
“Yes.” The word was resounding, resolute. “I love you enough to forgive you.”
You held him at a distance, lips falling apart easily. “But I don’t want to forgive you.”
“You will.” Dazai smiled, that irritatingly knowing smile of his that you’d fallen for in the first place. “You will because I mean it this time.”
“You never apologized,” you looked away, trying to find the strength to move. You were enraptured, in every fiber of his being. “You never will. You never do.”
“I never knew anything was wrong,” he frowned, and it wasn’t the truth, but it wasn’t a lie, and you had him so close that you just wanted to forget anything had ever changed. “How was I to fix it if you never told me?”
His words were full of poison, but his voice was so soft you couldn’t help but fall back into him. Perhaps, you should’ve said something. Maybe your actions had never been enough.
“How long have I been at your side, spent hours listening to your every word, even when they didn’t make sense to me? You should’ve known, Dazai. I shouldn’t have to tell you something like that.” Your words were losing their bite, and his lips quirked up, knowing that you were slowly coming back to him, clearing you of the sins you had committed.
He was hesitant, thoughtful, before pressing a kiss to your forehead. And perhaps, that was the final straw in your resistance, his gentle kiss enough to set your soul on fire.
“I’m sorry, my love,” Dazai said, his lips ghosting over yours, handing over the apology like a gift. “Won’t you give me a chance to fix it now?” It felt like a bad idea. Dazai wasn’t deserving of any more chances; you’d already given him years of second chances, had always given him the benefit of the doubt.
“You expect me to believe you’ll let us off scot-free?” you said, your face deadly close to Dazai’s. “What about Chuuya? Will you kill him in my place.”
“You’ve got me in your hand, love. If you want me to punish Chuuya, just say the word. I’ll kill him if that’s what you want.”
It wasn’t. That was the farthest thing from what you wanted, but you worried that if you sounded too enthusiastic, he might just follow through with it.
Instead, you pulled him to you, grabbing the dark tie that he wore around his neck. He grinned into your lips, his saccharine smile seeming much too deadly to be all that sweet. “Do you honestly think I believe a word that you’re saying?”
“You want to,” Dazai said, curling his hand around your jaw, his fingers brushing your ear. “That’s what matters the most.” He kissed your lips, and you could taste the difference, all the love he poured into it this time. It wasn’t like kissing a statue. “It’s all true, anyway.”
You broke away, breathing. “I won’t do this anymore, Dazai.” You finally had his hand in your own, placing the gun back to your temple. “You’re not the man you once were, and you’ll never be him again.” The smile that graced your lips was sad, though it was knowing. Things were always going to end this way.
Dazai’s face wrinkled as he tried to decipher all the words you’d never spoken. “I’m not the same man, that’s true, but my affection for you has never died.” He cupped his other hand around your cheek, hesitantly keeping the gun to your temple, squinting with his head bent.
“You’re the leader of the Port Mafia, and such a ruthless man wouldn’t let a betrayal go unscathed.”
There was a wave of silence while the two of you stared at one another, sifting through the situation with hardness in your jaws, the tension palpable within the air. Dazai straightened, clarity in his irises as a smooth smile burned onto his lips.
“Is that what you want?” he said innocently. “You want to be punished for your insurrections?”
Your mouth grew dry, but you held your ground firmly, swallowing back all the uncertainty. Perhaps you didn’t want to die. Perhaps you did. You just hated the gaping hole inside of you that never seemed to leave. “I want you to kill me.”
“Kill you?” Dazai laughed, then the hilt of the gun was against your temple once more. He held your chin steady between his forefinger and thumb, regarding you with thinly veiled disgust. “You’ve never wanted that before. Not when I asked you to die alongside me, to follow me far into the afterlife.” He sighed, releasing your chin before cocking the gun. “This isn’t about death at all.”
“What—”
“You want me to claim you, is that it?” He clicked his tongue before leaning forward, sneering. “Perhaps it’s that other way around. You want everyone in the Mafia to know I belong to you, hm?’
You blinked, though you began to feel weak in the knees, the eyes that you knew so well suddenly intimidating. “I never said—” but even then, your voice wavered, unsteady and uncertain of the immediate heat that had swirled under your skin.
Dazai’s mouth curled, a gruesome smile there. “I know you better than anyone. I’ve always known exactly what you want. Even though I shouldn’t forgive you, I can’t help myself.”
You swallowed, and Dazai had taken a step forward, pushing you with him, the gun still swaying at your temple, even when the backs of your thighs hit the bed. You fell onto the mattress, and he was on top of you, his finger caressing the trigger as he collapsed.
Dazai had never scared you, not even when he was a child you’d barely known, the teenager shaped in Mori’s image. Though, now, the unreadable expression on his face was alarming you, and you wondered if all this time, you should’ve been fearful.
Still, even with your underlying hesitance, you felt a wave of desire crash over you at the sheer need in his eyes. It wasn’t something you were unfamiliar with, but there was something else there. Maybe it was the love you’d just never noticed.
“Osamu,” you said in a quiet voice, not afraid, but not confident either. Your finger brushed the point on his wrist—it was the same heartbeat you’d always recognized.
“What?” he said, taunting you menacingly as he towered above you. “You were so bold just a second ago? What happened, darling?”
Unable to do anything but blink back at him, Dazai brought his thumb to your lips, brushing it across the plump skin before dipping it into your mouth.
Unprepared, you nearly choked, eyes blown wide as you stared back at him. Though, there was a command within his eyes, and you obliged, sucking as you watched the saliva drip down to his palm. Dazai pulled it away from your mouth with an obscene pop, giving you a sweet smile from his position above you.
Despite your humiliation, you shifted your hips on the bed, bringing your thighs together to provide you with a fraction of relief. Dazai’s eyes flashed at the movement, his smirk widening with an amusement.
“You’re nothing more than a dumb slut, aren’t you?” Dazai’s hand ghosted of your stomach, settling on the inside of your thigh momentarily. You ached with need, swallowing your pride and any demands that you could make of him. “Had Chuuya all to yourself this weekend, and still expect me to fuck you senseless.”
Your brow furrowed, and you opened your mouth before shutting it, lips still covered in your own spit. “Osamu,” you began, attempting to diffuse the situation, to explain that what had transpired between you and Chuuya meant nothing, but he never gave you the opportunity. “It wasn’t—”
Dazai’s gaze hardened, the adoration disappearing the moment you dared to speak. His fingers deftly wrapped around your throat, thrusting you into the mattress with enough force to quiet you entirely. “Shut up. If I want to hear you speak, I’ll ask. Understand?”
You could do nothing but nod, hating yourself for the ache that had grown more and more intense in your core, desperate for some sort of contact. Dazai, distracted with his own task of tearing your top off, had failed to notice the breathing that had grown heavier, the flush of heat that spread on every inch of your body.
His slender fingers finally removed the confining pants, a task he did skillfully with one hand still wrapped around your throat. Then, his fingers were against your aching cunt, and you twitched, letting out a heavy sound from the singular movement. You could feel yourself pulsing against nothing, desperate for his fingers between your legs.
“Pathetic,” he said, his fingers lazily dipping through your folds over your underwear. “I’ve barely touched you. How can you be this fucking wet?”
“Please,” you said quietly, your own hand aching to take over, if only to provide yourself that relief that he refused to give you. Every time you shifted into his hand, he brought it away, taunting you with the release you so craved.
“Please?” Dazai was mocking, cruel, every bit of the person people expected him to be. The one he never had been with you, not until recently. “You’re nothing more than a greedy little whore. Must have been why you fucked Chuuya without a second thought, huh?”
You were silent, staring him down with a clenched jaw. Your brain was twisting, betraying you, turning into empty cells within your skull, and you weren’t sure how to handle the accumulation of emotions that you felt for the man before you, the one who’s love had always been purposeful and merciless.
“Well?” he said, tightening a hand to close off the air to your lungs, trapping you with his strength. “Answer me.”
“No,” you gasped, and when your words sounded choked, when you clawed at his wrist, he loosened his grip just a hair, the only indication that the man you loved was in there at all. Still, your hips acted of their own accord, shifting further into his hand. “I’m sorry, Osamu, I am.” You felt tears prick at the corner of your eyes as he finally slipped his fingers under your panties, rubbing your aching clit. “I wanted you; I needed you and you were never there, but Chuuya was, and—”
You were a stammering mess of desperation and regret, feeling unglued under Dazai’s hands, like the words you’d been meaning to say could finally come out. He was the only one who’d ever listened to you completely, who you’d felt comfortable enough to be vulnerable with. Yet, it had been so long since you’d let yourself be open with him, and now that the opportunity arose, you were too weak to deny it.
“I was always here,” Dazai said harshly, and you were almost certain that his anger was genuine, the tone breaking in his voice a result of true sadness. “You never came to me, and I thought that’s how you wanted it to be.” His fingers sunk into you, and you threw your head back into the pillow, moaning sinfully with the lewd sound of him sinking in and out of you, the wetness collecting with every movement.
“You never showed me you cared,” you cried out, certain that there were tears streaming down your cheeks, and you should’ve been humiliated. It was humiliating—the way you were clothed in nothing, crying as Dazai laughed at you, taking full control over your body. How he could’ve done anything to you in that moment, and you would’ve let him, because that was just how much you wanted him.
“And Chuuya was the solution?” He grabbed your cheeks with the hand that had once been around your throat, pinching them to make you look at him. “You going to pass yourself around the rest of the Mafia, sweetheart? Who’ll get a taste of you next? I’m not so certain even Akutagawa would pass up the opportunity.”
His words were senseless, meant to hurt you, and you still couldn’t stand the anguish that was in his eyes.
“No,” you said, and you leaned up, wanting so badly for his lips to be on yours, to feel some semblance of the connection that you’d always had with him. “I wouldn’t, Dazai, I’m yours.” You choked on the sounds of your own moans, your thighs shaking with every change in pressure. “I’m yours. Please, I need you.”
You were certain there were marks on your neck from his fingertips, and Dazai ghosted his mouth along the delicate skin there, biting at the soreness from before. You jerked, digging your nails into his back as you drew closer and closer to your climax.
“Don’t make demands.” Dazai leaned back, and you missed the closeness, the sharp scent of him lingering in your space. “Chuuya hasn’t been a part of this conversation yet. Should we get him up here? I hadn’t considered what to do with him, but this might suffice.”
Dazed and drunk on the feeling of his hands all over you, it took you a moment to process what he was saying. His hand was already swiping through his phone, picking the number of the man that you least wanted to see.
“No, Osamu, don’t—” you cried out, and yet, you made no move to stop him. Instead, you remained pliant on the bed as he sunk another finger into you, his thumb moving in agonizing circles against your clit.  He tucked the cellphone under his chin, smiling at you maliciously, controlling you with every blink of his lashes.
You had always had trouble resisting him. Now was no different.
Chuuya answered as you released another moan, and Dazai was grinning wickedly, as if some larger scheme had finally come together, the culmination of everything he was plotting. “Boss?”
“Chuuya,” Dazai said, and you flinched, locking gazes with his deep brown irises, the color so alluring and beautiful, a shade that had darkened with each misfortune you’d endured together. You hated him, you did, but there was a fine line between the two, and your love for him would die with you, would transcend whatever simple rules the afterlife placed on Earth. “How quickly can you make it up here?”
You could hear the hesitation on the other side; Chuuya didn’t say anything for a moment.
“A couple minutes, I think. I haven’t left the building.”
“I’ll give you a couple minutes then.” Dazai’s words were clipped as he hung up the phone, throwing it to the arm chair a few feet away from the bed.
His attention was back on you completely as you let out a shaky breath, trying to regain some semblance of composure before Chuuya came into the room. Though it was so hard when the pools in his irises were pulling you deeper, locking you into a heaven that you’d never been able to reach.
Dazai pulled away briefly, his soaking fingers leaving your body to alleviate his cock from the confines of his dark pants, hovering before you.
You swallowed, not able to remember the last time your desire for him ached this badly. Your eyes trained on the very part of him that you wanted inside of you, the tip flushed so beautifully. There was nothing on your mind but him, how you wanted every part of him, even if it meant enduring misery after misery, and Chuuya was right—if you were to love Dazai, you needed to love every part of him, even when it seemed impossible.
A whine escaped you and you were reaching out to him, knowing he’d never let you live down your humiliation, but the future was not a part of your logical thinking, not now. “Want you inside me.”
“Surely you can hold off for a few minutes,” Dazai said, though the way his toned chest pressed to your own, and how he kissed your face with a tenderness you’d forgotten made it nearly impossible for you to refrain. “So desperate for my cock.”
You wanted to touch yourself—you would’ve, had you not been so nervous of the fact that Chuuya could come in at any minute.
“Tell him to leave,” you said, dragging your fingers through his hair, finally kissing him like you’d been wanting to, and the sound was sinful, heavy with lust as you forced a taste into his mouth, wishing every part of him was a part of you too. “I don’t want him or anyone else, just you, I promise—”
Dazai cut you off and ignored your pleas; he smiled against your lips, though it was anything but kind. “I think he’ll enjoy seeing you like this, won’t he? You’ve got such a filthy mouth on you when you’re fucked properly.” He kissed his way down your chest, resting his face just above your breasts. “I bet Chuuya didn’t see this side of you, did he?” Dazai licked a circle around your nipple, tugging it between his teeth. “I’ve done nothing but call you names and you’re dripping all over the sheets.”
You shook your head, feeling pained by how badly you wanted release.
“Of course not.” Dazai sat back up like he could sense Chuuya approaching from the other side of the door, his presence bold and detectible. “He’s forgotten what’s mine, after all.” He smiled at you once more, kissing you with a kind of love that only he could portray, the kind that was nowhere close to innocent. “Don’t cum until I tell you to. Be good for me, okay?”
Dazai had always known what to say to you, even when your relationship was falling apart, even when you hated him more than you loved him. His words could be so tender, the praise melted in with the unkind quips of his tongue. It was the gentlest tone he’d used since your clothes had come off, and you couldn’t help but melt under him, nodding like you’d give him anything he asked of you.
Of course you would.
Dazai traced your features delicately, grinning maniacally, ears attuned to the quiet that broke from the footsteps approaching. His cock was lined up against your dripping hole, and it took every ounce of restraint not to plant yourself on it, trying so hard to please him, the sinful man who held too much power over you.
“You’re so pretty like this, aren’t you? My beautiful little whore, always willing to take whatever I give you.”
“’Samu,” you babbled, blinking away the tears as you latched onto him, wishing you could spare yourself the humiliation, but too drunk on him to care. He shifted you forward, taking your thighs in his hands and placing them around his waist. “I can’t take it all at once—”
“You’ve done it before. Do it again.” He growled, squeezing your throat once more in one smooth motion, thrusting into you. And though you had doubted how prepared you were, he slid into you easily, already so loose and pliant from his fingers. “See? Never forgot the shape of me, sweetheart. Even after you’ve been with another man.”
You let out a choked moan as Chuuya walked into the room, lost in the ache and the burn and the pleasure that came with loving and fucking Dazai.
There was one singular pass of silence before Chuuya spoke, letting the door shut with a quiet click on the hinge. “Boss—” Chuuya was hesitant, though his eyes were immediately drawn to you, raking over your blissed-out form. “You said to—” His hand was still on the knob, though he was distracted, and tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, ashamed but so full of want that it ached.
“Come in, Chuuya,” Dazai said sharply, his words solid and commanding, and you couldn’t help it when you clenched around him, drawing him further into you with nails scraping down his back. “We should discuss something.”
“Well, can we talk about it when you’re not in the middle of fucking your girl?” Chuuya asked, swallowing down the desire he hid so poorly. His cheeks had flushed, words just on the edge of stumbling and slurring together. “Another time, maybe.”
“This is the perfect time, actually,” Dazai stopped moving, already breathing heavily above you as you stared, whined, needing so badly for him to stop teasing you. “Besides,” his eyes drifted knowingly to Chuuya’s obvious erection as he laughed darkly. “I don’t think you mind so much.”
Dazai pulled back painfully slowly before sinking into you with a quicker thrust, your back arching off the mattress to catch even more of him inside of you. A barely noticeable sweat had broken against his hairline, and you stared at him, mouth slightly agape in awe at the boss of the Port Mafia, the one you somehow had wrapped around your little finger.
Your breathing had grown unsteady as his cock got deeper and deeper inside of you, hitting where you’d never been quite able to get with your fingers, the thickness of him catching on every sensitive part inside of you. His hand was back between your legs, rubbing circles on your clit, and you weren’t sure you could last much longer, not as he carried on a conversation with Chuuya, who watched you with darkened eyes, barely holding himself back.
“Please, Osamu,” you were practically begging now, your cheeks glistening with wetness as you clawed at the muscles between his shoulder blades, surely leaving bruises all down his spine. “Please, please, let me cum.”
Dazai made a tsk noise in the back of his throat. “Not yet. I don’t think you deserve it quite yet, does she, Chuuya?”
Chuuya sniffed, shifting uncomfortably as his pants grew tighter. “Gonna punish her all day, boss? Such a pretty thing should get what she wants, shouldn’t she?”
Dazai dropped his chest closer to you, going deeper into you, and you cried out his name, though your eyes were still locked with Chuuya, as if he were going to be your savior. You remembered how gently he’d touched you, how careful he was, and you wondered why you’d ever wanted that at all.
“Chuuya thinks he can fuck you better than me, darling, but you know that’s not true, don’t you? He’d spoil you too much, but this is what you want, right? You want to be called a stupid fucking cockslut.” Dazai grinned against your lips, whispering in a breath that only you could hear. “Just so that at the end of it all, you’ll be my good girl.”
You whimpered, soaking him as you clenched harder. Your brain had gone numb from the feeling of him. Dazai was smiling viciously, but you could see the underlying tenderness.
“She looks so pretty right now, doesn’t she Chuuya? Not a single thought in that beautiful little head of hers.” He smiled at him knowingly, dark hair flopping into his eyes as the rest of the loose tendrils stuck to his forehead. “You’re lucky. You’ve gotten two chances to see her now. Twice as many as most men who fantasize about fucking a woman that sleeps in another man’s bed.”
Chuuya’s voice was raw, his words cracked. “You’re sick, Dazai,” he said, clenching his hands into fists. “Putting on a show like this just to punish me.”
“You and I both know you’re enjoying this.” Dazai traced your cheeks sweetly, kissing your lips deeply. You let out a strangled breath into his mouth, something on the precipice of a moan. “Can you do one thing for me, pretty girl? One more, then I’ll let you cum, how’s that?”
You nodded, desperately, as Dazai’s fingers finally dipped back down, rubbing agonizingly light circles.
“Tell Chuuya who’s making you feel this way,” Dazai said, pushing your face away from him to stare straight into Chuuya’s dark eyes. “Tell him who you love the most.”
“You,” you gasped out, clenching tighter around him. What an easy request to make—you’d never loved anyone else. “I’m in love with you.”
Dazai sniffed, though he was patient, slowing his thrusts almost to a stop. “Not good enough. I need you to be more specific.”
You cried out, locking your ankles onto his hips, trying to force him back into you. But Dazai didn’t budge, watching you until you provided the answer that he so desired. “I love you, Dazai.”
He frowned, shaking his head once more. “My name. Say it. It sounds so sweet from your lips.”
“Osamu,” you choked out. “I love you, Osamu. I love you. I love you.”
Dazai finally smiled above you, gently tracing your cheeks with his thumb as he slowed down the pace of his hips. “I love you too, darling.” His words were soft, whispered into your lips before he turned away, meeting eyes with Chuuya across the room. “See?”
Chuuya was glowering, stiff as a board, his face pink, and his legs shaky. “I got it, Boss.” He choked out, though his eyes were on you, unable to leave your body, even as he tried so hard to be polite. His aching cock strained against his pants, and he breathed sharply, swallowing over and over. “Do I need to be here any longer?”
Dazai laughed, and you thought he looked so pretty when he did that, his smile flashing wide and alluring, the corners of his eyes crinkling marginally. “Never said you had to stay. I figured you’d want to watch her come undone one last time.”
Chuuya, for as noble as he wanted himself to be, made no move to leave, glued to the spot on the floor beyond your bed. He was just across the room, but you couldn’t focus on anyone but Dazai, Dazai, Dazai, Dazai, the man who you’d killed and bled and committed horrible acts for.
You said his name again, scrambling to bring his attention back to you, hands on his face with a desperation you didn’t realize you’d possessed.
And Dazai, with the kindness of a man he wasn’t, placed his hands just above your stomach, leaving kisses across your chin as he thrust into you, sweetly, menacingly, one last time. “You did so good, my love. You can cum now. Make a mess all over my cock, beautiful.”
You jerked, squeezing around him as you felt the pressure in you finally release, the colors shifting and changing between your high as Dazai brought you in and out of an orgasm, his words reaching your muddled brain with soothing noises. Your body twitched as your muscles spasmed, sweat gathering in the space under your knees. There was little in your mind, save for the dark-haired man that had quickly become your whole world.
You smiled lazily, lacing your fingers with Dazai as you slowly began to come back to yourself. The world around you was empty. Chuuya had all but disappeared into a block of nothingness as you stared into the world itself. If there was no Dazai, there was no you, and it was as simple as that. He was everything you’d ever wanted—you’d be a fool to ever left him go.
As you regained your breathing, still sensitive all over, Dazai came inside you, spilling hot release into you, and you couldn’t bring yourself to care, too busy being satisfied with the feeling of him all over you.  His hands never left you—he was delicate, caring, pressing loving touches into your skin as you recovered from your high.
“I’m yours, Osamu,” you said, closing your eyes as you basked against the bed, wanting nothing more than to curl up against him, bury yourself in the warmth of another body.
He smiled against your cheeks, lips flushed and bruised. “I know you are,” he said to you only, before pulling away. You shivered, but opened your eyes, and he’d already held the gun out to you, presenting it as an offering. “That’s why you’ll be the one to kill him.”
It took you all of ten seconds to remember who him was, and that the man who had borne witness to your most intimate moments with Dazai had not disappeared and was still gawking at you from the corner of the room.
“What?” you asked stupidly, your jaw falling open.
“You heard me.” Dazai pressed the pistol into your palm, curling your fingers around the handle. It was like ice against your hot body, and though it’d been years since your first time firing such a weapon, you suddenly felt like you were there again, uncertain, and afraid of the dangerous firearm. “Kill him.”
You stared at Chuuya, the honest man who, even despite his rough exterior, had been there for you since you were kids. You remembered how the three of you had been so close, for such a long time, until Dazai had gone and killed Mori and fucked it all up.
It felt wrong. The entire situation was wrong, and it never should’ve come to this.
“It’s Chuuya,” you said with tired eyes, something in your voice pleading and desperate.
Dazai shrugged, holding you close against him as you struggled to sit up in the bed. Your muscles ached and you were still so sensitive, but reality was coming back to you. This was all a mess, and you wanted so badly to feel shame at everything you had done, but you were trying so hard just to–
“You’d think I’d let him live after what he did?”
“Osamu.” You weren’t sure you could bear it. You’d always sworn to kill whatever adversary Dazai and the Port Mafia faced, but Chuuya would always be an exception. You wanted him in your life as much as you wanted Dazai, someone you could trust without fail, who would listen to you complain even when it hurt him. “I won’t do it. He’s my friend. I thought he was yours too.”
Dark eyes full of disdain met your own, and he pinched your jaw once more, a mixture of devastating anger. “I can’t allow a traitor to live. I’ll kill him if you won’t. Then, I’ll kill you. Then myself.”
You shoved him away, suddenly wishing you weren’t so exposed, on display in the middle of the room. “Then fucking do it already, Dazai. What are you waiting for?” A tear broke free from your eye, and you wiped it furiously, not giving him a chance to mock you.
“Stop.” Chuuya finally spoke, his voice drawing your attention like a commandment, and you fell silent, refocusing on him as he bowed before you, dropping to his knees. Eyes locked onto your own without a single fear, cruel acceptance surrounding dark pupils. “It’s alright. I deserve to die. I’ve broken your trust, boss. I might as well be a traitor to the Mafia.” He swallowed, though he was unwavering. “I don’t want to live with this feeling any longer.”
“Don’t say that.” you spat, hating that such a strong man was giving himself over, exposing every weary weakness that he’d come to carry. “You don’t mean it.”
“I do.” He sighed, straightening his spine as he leaned forward towards your hand, much as you had done before, and you realized that this was such a sick, twisted change of fate. That the affection you’d always doubted was real after all, but Chuuya was still left playing the fool.
Perhaps, you were of the same vein, wanting desperately to die in the heavenly hand of the one you loved most. You could understand him for that. You could grant him one final wish.
“Do you regret any of it?” Dazai asked, as the wheels in your head spun, the decision dawning upon you, handed over from the ancient tragedies, rival even to the gloomy romances of Shakespeare.
Chuuya shifted towards the other man, looking into his cold, distant eyes. “No,” he said honestly, his jaw set. “I don’t regret it because now I know she’ll never love me. She’s all yours Dazai. Always has been. Always will be. Does that satisfy you?”
There wasn’t an ounce of fury in his expression when Dazai smiled back.
“You heard him,” Dazai said, lifting your limp arm by the elbow, pointing it like a skilled tutor. The gun was on Chuuya’s forehead, between his eyebrows, and your finger was on the trigger. Dazai’s whisper was like the Devil on your shoulder, and you were falling fast, your last shred of morality burnt from papery resolve. His hand supported your weakened muscles, guiding you along like you’d never before committed such an act. “You’re an assassin, aren’t you?”
You stiffened, narrowing your eyes before cocking the gun, mustering up the last bit of strength you had left. Chuuya couldn’t have looked more prepared for death, and you basked in Dazai’s prideful smile as he branded it into the crook of your neck.
“You’re certain?” you said to Chuuya, once more, hand no longer shaking despite your guilt.
The man, nothing more than a victim, nodded, and he had the audacity to smile, to look peaceful about his release from this life.
“I’m sorry, Chuuya. You shouldn’t have to bear the weight of my sin.” “It’s mine to carry, just as it is yours,” he scoffed, eyes hard with resolve. “Of all the things that would land me in Hell, I hardly believe this is the worst.”
You nodded, regrettably, and took a steely breath, erasing the heat the stung behind your eyes.
Then, you pulled the trigger. You waited for Chuuya’s brains to stain your floors, for the remnants of his skull to shatter all across the wall behind him. For the life to slowly drain from his stunningly bright eyes, leaving you with nothing but a corpse that would rot away wherever Dazai chose to toss his body.
Though, none of those things happened, and you stared at each other with fierce incredulity, knowing that you’d unwillingly become puppets in Dazai’s dramatic play, a show put on for no one’s entertainment but his own.
You’d been completely senseless, an idiot, really. The gun had felt lighter than usual, and you’d ignored it, even when you should’ve known it housed no bullets.
“Dazai?” you said in a low voice, dangerously, twisting to look at him from over your shoulder. An anger you’d never felt before had bubbled up inside of you, your heart thundering with a fierceness you hadn’t realized was a part of you. “There’s no bullets.”
“Obviously,” he scoffed, taking the gun away like it was but a toy, throwing it onto the armchair in the corner. “I’d never kill the strongest ability-user in the Mafia. You both should know me better by now.”
You scowled, the ugly expression marring your face, and Dazai frowned, leaning forward to appease you. “Don’t look at me like that.”
“You played me for a fool. Was all of this an act?” you cried, wondering if maybe Dazai had been lying this entire time. Maybe all those sweet words he said had never been true, and you had fallen for them anyway, like the mindless pawn you were.
“Which part?” Dazai asked, but you could tell that he knew what answer you sought, what lies you wanted to unveil.
“You know which part,” you said, moving away from him, not sure what emotion to grant control. You felt an intense amount of fury, misery, and pity for yourself, who’d never asked Dazai for anything but to be on your side, and he still couldn’t give you that. “Fuck you, Dazai.”
Your lip quivered, but if you’d begun to cry, shame would swallow you up and drown you in the dark abyss of misery. You would have no other choice but to throw yourself out the window, where everyone in the Port Mafia could bear witness to all the ways that Dazai had ruined you.
“Boss—”
Chuuya’s sentence was cut off sharply.
You’d tried to climb out of the bed, but Dazai had grabbed your wrist, stopping you before you could escape from him once and for all. Though he spoke to Chuuya, his eyes were hard on you, never leaving the set he stared into as you swallowed over and over, trying to think of anything but the sick feeling in your chest.
“You can leave now, Chuuya. Consider this your lucky day.” His voice was icy, threatening, and though Chuuya lingered a moment before climbing to his feet, he spared you nothing but a small glance in return.
You inhaled, then exhaled, trying to stop the simmering of blood within your veins, feeling the heavy weight of his hand on your wrist. As you sat there in silence, waiting for him to be the one to break it, you started to wonder how much of this was really Dazai’s fault, and how much you were the one to blame.
“It was a test.” Dazai tried to bring your attention back to him, letting only a fragment of emotion drain into his voice, though it was enough to slowly, slowly pique your fascination once more. “That was all.”
You wet your lips, though your tongue was just as papery. “So none of it was real.”
“What do you mean?” Dazai came to sit in front of you, his skin pale in the dark lighting, and you could see the cracks in his facade, and maybe this splinter in your failing relationship would slowly begin to heal itself. “Everything I said was very much real.”
His soft fingertips traveled up your arm, curling around your shoulder, across your collarbone, before settling in that delicate space between your jaw and your ear. There was a starry look in his eyes, the twin pair that had been exposed.
“Why would you do something like that to me?” you said, scrunching your face in remorse, wanting to slither away from him, even as he drew you closer, close enough to smell the expensive cologne he wore, the liquor that he favored when you were away. His hair had been freshly washed, and the smell of shampoo still lingered, even under the thin layer of sweat.
“Why would you do something like that to me?” Dazai countered, the hurt not veiled in the slightest this time, and it didn’t take a genius to know what he was talking about. Heat flooded to your cheeks, and you were looking away, wondering why he was pulling you close to his chest when he should be hating you with the passion of a thousand fiends. “How could I trust you after that?”
You parted your lips to speak, but your jaw was locked, and the inside of your mouth tasted like cotton.
“I’m not a good man,” Dazai said, kissing the shell of your ear, your temple, and you squeezed your eyes shut, clinging to his bicep. “You’ve always known this. Yet, for as often as you talk about me with disgust dripping from your words, I’ve never sought to bring you pain.” He breathed in deeply, and you buried your face into his chest, wondering how much longer it’d be before you wept. “You’ve caused me pain.”
You tried to cry out, to tell him that you never thought it would hurt him, but he’d seen the very same in you, hadn’t he? You’d never given him any indication that the coldness in his words was bothering you, that the blurred lines of your relationship were getting confusing and hurtful, and he had done the same.
“We’re not good for each other, Osamu,” you whispered quietly, your lip quivering. The weight of your voice shattered against your vocal cords.
He let out a breathy laugh, smiling against your forehead. “On the contrary, I think we’re the perfect fit.”
For what reason he believed that, you weren’t sure.
You clenched your jaw tight, but it didn’t stop the feeling of tears from overwhelming you, hot droplets that spilled heavy from your eyes, running off your chin to Dazai’s chest. Your hands shook, clenched around his arms so tightly you were sure you were breaking the skin.
Dazai pulled away, monitoring your face with concern. You hated the way he looked at you with such pity when he was the reason for such pain. Yet, you couldn’t help but curl into him, warm, never wanting to escape from his reverence. “Why are you crying, my sweet angel?”
Nausea soured your mouth, and the regret that tinged you, tainted you, was vastly overwhelming. It was horrible in a way that you’d never felt.
It struck you, then, that you’d been blind to Dazai’s every affection, too ignorant to notice the ways that they had shifted as his life did. He no longer held your hand over the table during meetings, but the chair beside his was just as grandiose, and he greeted you with something of a smile when you walked into each room. He no longer accompanied you on assignments, but you were always taken care of, in a hotel most people couldn’t afford with a partner that could singlehandedly take out a hundred men. He no longer picked you flowers from a wild field as he’d done as a boy, but the vase on the table always held a beautiful bouquet of deep, red roses, without a single wilting flower.
Chuuya, all this time, all these years had been right. There was no use in loving Dazai if you couldn’t stand him in his darkest hour, the bitter ugly side of him that no one wanted to see.
You’d never thought about it, really, but you’d changed just as he had. Everyone in the Mafia had blood on their hands, was ruined in more ways than one, and you were no exception. If loving Dazai meant loving those parts of him, then loving you meant just the same.
The tears fell harder, and Dazai seemed panicked, stricken, always so oblivious when it came to the affairs of your heart, and sometimes he tried, but you couldn’t hate him if he didn’t.
“I’m sorry,” you said pitifully, knowing from the spoiled heart in your very chest had ruined everything. “I’m sorry.” You said it again and again until Dazai was shushing you, running a large, cool palm down your back, the only way he knew to soothe you.
“I wish I’d never done it. I wish I’d just spoken to you, asked you, anything—” you wiped your face, heavy breaths stuttering before Dazai took your hands away, and erased the tears for you. “I just thought you hated me. It was the only thing that made sense.”
Dazai smiled sadly, because no one had taught him to love. How was he to know that he’d been doing it wrong all this time. “I wish I’d seen it before. I didn’t mean to push you away.” He sighed, dropping his head to your shoulder with a weariness that he’d been born with. “I’m sorry.”
A tingling sensation began under your skin, and you were warm all over, realizing just how much that apology had meant to you. For some reason, it felt like coming home.
The strong grip that nostalgia had on you gradually began to melt away.

Had my Y/N moment yesterday when a motorbike passed me 😻. I was walking to my bus stop bc I wanted to go to the library to study and I heard a motorcycle and I was like “ooh, motorbike” and I jokingly looked at the person as they passed me. Guys, it was a one second look from me AND THEN I SAW THEIR HELMET TURN AS THEY LOOKED AT ME BACK. I was so embarrassed that I hit my head with my hand then I heard their bike rev behind me.
So erm… imagine that with Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley.
Imagine Ghost tatted up and riding a motorbike 😻. You’re like, a third year university student or something and you’re waiting for your bus so you can go to the library to study. You have a fascination with motorcycles (must’ve come from TikTok) and you hear the sound of a motorbike.
You look to your left to see a man with his sleeves rolled up, exposing his tattoos. He’s extremely muscled too. You don’t notice you’ve been staring long enough for him to notice. You can practically see your own reflection in his visor as he drives past, staring right back at you. Your eyes never leave him until he’s out of sight.
You’re extremely flustered after that interaction but you think nothing of it.
The next time you’re waiting at your bus stop, you hear the familiar sound of an engine revving. It’s the same man. Instead of simply driving past you like last time, he actually pulls over and stops.
His visor flies up to expose his eyes. “Noticed you staring yesterday, lovie.” He says, “You single?”
You can only silently nod.
He holds out his phone, “Type in ‘yer number, lovie. ‘M gonna take ya out sometime and you can do more than stare at my tattoos.”
You’re too busy fumbling with his phone to notice the grin on his face.
Ghost picks you up on his motorbike because he knows how much you like it. He polished it just for you. And bought a helmet just for you too.
“How ya doin’, lovie?” He’s sitting on his bike, watching your every move.
The words get stuck in your throat as he loops one finger around your belt to pull you closer. His hands rest on your hips as he stares up at you.
“Hop on and do your best not to fall off. Want my date in one piece.” He laughs at his own joke as you slip the helmet on and sling a leg over his bike. “Hold on, pretty.”
He finds amusement in the scream you let out as he drives off and how your arms tighten around his waist, face pressed against his back.

The erratic sound of banging on your front door startles you, nearly causing you an untimely death as you almost had a slip and fall in the shower. You regain your balance, groaning in the process as it didn’t take a village to figure out who exactly was pounding on your door at this time of night. You turn the valves, shutting off the water before grabbing a towel from the towel rack and wrapping it around yourself.
You step out of the tub, your wet feet pattering on the living room floor to let in who you could only assume was Mina. You pull open your front door, and Mina speeds past you without saying a word. “Mina, it’s late. What are you doing here? You know I have work tomorrow,” You frown, shutting the door.
When you turn to your friend, you notice her eyes were bloodshot red from crying. “Woah… what's wrong?” You scrunch your eyebrows, now feeling worried. “I think Jin is cheating on me.” She sniffs. Your eyes widened, and your mouth dropped open in shock. Jin? Cheating on Mina? You somehow found that hard to believe. Jin was in love with Mina.
“How can you be sure? Did you catch him?” She shakes her head, plopping down on your couch. “No. It’s just that he’s been acting so weird lately. He’s anxious, jumpy and he’s always checking his phone. He’s been so secretive.”  You make a “tsk” sound, grabbing a chair from your table to pull up across from her, not wanting to sit your wet body on your couch. “You’re overthinking this. You said yesterday that he’s struggling with work, so it’s only plausible that he’s stressed and anxious.”
“Yeah, but he just doesn’t seem like himself. I’m worried he’s going to leave me.”
“Mina, Seokjin loves you. I’d be surprised if he was cheating. The guy literally worships the ground you walk on.” You smile softly, trying your best to reassure her. “He doesn’t seem to worship the ground I walk on much lately…” she wipes away the stray tears on her cheeks. “So talk to him, see where he’s coming from. Give him an ultimatum if you have to, I don’t know. But don’t assume the worst.”
Mina lets out a heavy sigh, slowly nodding her head. “I guess you’re right…” you knew you were right. Jin wasn’t even the type of guy to sneak around. He was always calling you in regards to Mina. What to buy her for her birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day. It just didn’t seem likely. “Can I sleep over tonight? I’ll drive you to work tomorrow.” You couldn’t refuse the offer, it beats taking the bus.
“How can I say no when you drive such a hard bargain?” You chuckle, standing up from the chair and dragging it back to your table. “Did I interrupt something?” Mina asked, just now noticing you were wrapped in a towel. “Only my shower.” You walk back into your bedroom, pulling open your wardrobe to grab a nightgown. You slip on the gown before lazily tossing your towel atop of your dresser.
Mina comes into your room after you’re dressed, throwing herself into your bed. “How was work today?” She asks. You grimaced. You didn’t even want to think or talk about work after what happened with Yoongi today. That guy seriously gave you the creeps. “Same old, same old until Mr. Kim made me deliver food in Gongdan.”
Mina gasped, sitting up in your bed. “You went to the devil’s playground?” You nodded, climbing into bed with her. “Yes, and that isn’t even the worst part. The person I was delivering to was that psycho Yoongi.” Mina gagged upon hearing the raven’s name. “I’m still creeped out from your altercation with him and his gang yesterday. What a coincidence.”
“I wouldn’t quite call it that…” you mumble, your mind wandering back to him knowing the details of your personal life. “What do you mean by that?” She raises a brow. You bite down on your bottom lip, contemplating on whether or not you should tell her about Yoongi and his “connections”. Mina wasn’t the type of person to handle news like that lightly. She’d be freaked out constantly looking over her shoulder.
“Nothing, I’m just overexaggerating.” You played it off.  “I should get to bed. Don’t wanna collapse on the job tomorrow.” You stood up from your bed to switch off your lights before climbing back in to snuggle under your blanket. “Goodnight.”
“Night.”
Tumblr media
“I’ll pick you up when you’re off, alright?”
“Sounds good. See you, Mina!” The blonde waves goodbye before pulling off. Hopefully she takes this time off to talk to her boyfriend, you could tell she was still sad about it. You enter Makoto, the door dinging as you do. “Oh, kid, thank god you’re here. I thought you were going to call off too.” Mr. Kim says upon your arrival; the older man was on the floor taking orders. “Too? Jimin isn’t here?” You frown, looking around for the brunette.
“No, that unreliable little shit called off. Apparently he has the flu. So hurry up and clock in, then come take over these orders.” You nod, walking to the back of the kitchen. You grab a time card and swipe it through the clock before taking an apron from the hook. As you’re tying the cloth around your waist, the kitchen phone begins to ring. “I got it.” Mr. Kim says, appearing from the cut.
You grab a notepad and pen from the pen holder, taking Mr. Kim’s place on the floor. There weren’t a lot of people in today, nor did you have a lot of orders to take considering Mr. Kim had already taken most of them. You were shocked that Jimin called off today. He never missed a day of work, you would’ve thought he was immune to any kind of disease.
“Well, aren’t you a better exception than the old man.” A young brunette says as you approach his table. He’s sitting across from a woman, who doesn’t seem to mind his eyes raking up and down your body. She must’ve been his friend, and not his girl. “Can I get you anything?”
“Your number.” He chuckles. You roll your eyes, letting out a sigh. You didn’t have time for this. “My name is Taehyung, beautiful. But you can call me Tae.” He bites down on his bottom lip in a sultry way. You shake your head, turning your attention to the girl instead as you saw you were getting nowhere. “Ma’am, can I get you anything?”
“I’ll just take some water, nothing else.” You write down her order, slowly nodding your head.‘You could’ve had water at your house.’ You thought, feeling as though these people were here to waste your time. You turn back to the man, Tae, seeing if he was finally ready to put aside the flirting and order something. “Now can I get you anything?”
“Rice cakes.” He replies dryly, looking off put at the fact you rejected him. He must not get too many rejections. You write down the order, throwing a smile their way. “I'll be back with your orders.” You stumble off into the kitchen, catching Mr. Kim stuffing a brown bag into a plastic one. “We’ve got another delivery order today.” He says, holding out the bag for you to take. You look from Mr. Kim, to the bag in his hands. “No way. Last time I went it was that thug, Min Yoongi.” You crossed your arms, refusing to take the bag.
“Yeah, so what? Like it or not, he’s still a customer. We can’t refuse people just because we don’t like them.”
“It’s more than that, Mr. Kim–”
Mr. Kim cuts you off before you’re able to continue protesting. “Take the damn order, y/n.” You sigh, snatching the bag from the older man’s hand. When you check the order, you’re not surprised that it’s the same address you went to yesterday. If you didn’t know any better you’d say Mr. Kim knew that Yoongi was stalking you, but he was too scared to put his foot down. If Jimin was there, he’d be the one doing deliveries. Was he actually sick?  You weren’t so sure anymore.
You exit the kitchen through the back door, same as yesterday. As you pick up the red bike from the ground, you ponder on whether or not you should truly go to the address. You could just ride around, eat that jerk’s dumplings and then come back to work as if you made the trip. ‘What if that asshole calls though? He’ll probably get me fired.’ You pout. Guess you didn’t have a choice. Maybe you’ll just ring the bell this time, sit it out front and leave before he comes out.
You mount the bike, tie the bag to the handle just as you did the other day and ride off to Gongdan. You didn’t use your GPS this time around, seeing as you knew exactly where the destination was. As you cross over into the devil’s playground, you notice the same group of men standing on the corner smoking weed again. They watch you, whispering something amongst themselves.
‘Is this a daily routine for them?’
As the streets get emptier in this general territory, you knew you were close. For some reason people never seemed to venture where Yoongi’s little headquarters were, except for a few homeless folks. You make a turn, coming up on the warehouse. You ride your bike around to where you remember the front door was, and your face goes grim.
Yoongi was standing outside, puffing on a cigarette. The raven notices you pull up, and a smile forms his face. So much for leaving the damn food in front of the door. “Well, if it isn’t my favorite delivery girl.” You halt the bike, kicking forward the brakes before dismounting. You hand the raven his food, which he takes. “What? Not speaking to me?”
You keep your mouth closed, not giving him the satisfaction of you bantering back and forth. You don’t get very far before he’s stopping you from getting onto the bike. “Hey,” the raven grabs your wrist, twirling you around to face him. “I’m talking to you. I don’t take well to being ignored.”
You snatch your wrist away from him. “And I don’t take well to being stalked. I thought I told you to leave me alone?” Yoongi smirks. “And I thought I told you I get what I want?”
You scoff, crossing your arms. “You may get what you want, but I won’t be one of them. Next time you call my job under false pretenses, I’m not showing up.” You climb back onto the bike, kicking back the brakes before riding away from the warehouse. You don’t even spare a second glance at the man.
How long was this going to go on for? Was he constantly going to call on you for deliveries on your work days? Perhaps you should adjust your schedule. That way he wouldn’t know what days you worked. Your mind was so clouded with Yoongi that you neglected to pay attention where you were going. You end up making a hard stop as you notice a man in your pathway. “Hey!” You shout at him. “Don’t you know not to stand in the middle of a bike lane?”
The man doesn’t respond, casually spitting on the ground. You squint your eyes, the stranger looking vaguely familiar. It then dawns on you; he was one of the men that stood on the corner smoking weed. You feel slightly uncomfortable as the guy made no effort to speak, or even move out of your way. “Okay… guess I’ll just go around you then.” You try to maneuver around him, but he blocks your path again.
“What’s your problem? Move.” You say, once again trying to go around. Unfortunately it was all to no avail. You decide to back away instead, but bump into a figure. “Going somewhere?” Another man vocalizes from behind you. Your heart thumps against your chest, knowing no good was going to come from this situation. “We’ve seen you come down this way twice now. Not many girls like you ride through here.” The guy who blocked the front of your bike finally speaks with a gruff voice.
“Look… I don’t want any trouble. I’m just trying to get  back to work.” You tell the guys, attempting to maintain a calm composure. You didn’t want to look as afraid as you felt. They both laugh, sharing a look of amusement with each other. “Heard that, Yejun? She doesn’t want any trouble.”
“Guess she shouldn’t have come to Gongdan then.”
You look between the two men, trying to come up with some course of action to get out of this predicament. You’re hardly able to make a move before you're suddenly snatched from the bike and being dragged into an alleyway. “Let go of me!” You scream, thrashing your body to get free. “She’s a feisty one, huh?” They simultaneously cackle.
You notice that the rest of the men you’ve seen standing on the corner were in the alley as well. This was surely premeditated. You're roughly thrown to the ground, two men immediately taking action to pin your arms down before you could get up. “Get the fuck off of me!” You screech, kicking your legs. “Hey, Jiwon, hold her legs down.” One of the guys instructed. Your legs were suddenly held down; you were completely restrained, and at the mercy of these sick men.
“Stop! Let go!” Another man is straddling you, pulling out a pocket knife. “Scream all you want, girl. You’re in Gongdan, no one’s gonna come to your rescue.” The man takes the pocket knife, cutting the top of your shirt. Your eyes flutter shut, tears rolling down your cheeks. ‘This can’t be happening… I can’t believe this is happening…’
“Don’t you peons have anything better to do?” A monotone voice speaks behind the men. The group turns around, coming face to face with none other than Yoongi. “Yo, it’s Agust D.” One of the guys holding down your arms whispered. ‘Agust D? Yoongi?’ You opened your eyes, lifting your head to see the raven leaned against the brick wall, his hands in his pockets as he eyed the men.
“Get off her and get the fuck out of here.” He says in a calm, but warning tone. The stoic look on his face unwavered. All the men spared glances with one another, mulling over the threat. The guy with the pocket knife nods, flipping the blade closed before climbing off of you. The men released you, dipping off down the other end of the alley, avoiding Yoongi at all cost. You were surprised they actually listened to him, seeing as there were more of them than there were of Yoongi. He must really strike fear into people’s hearts.
You sit up from the ground, staring down at your ripped shirt in embarrassment. You wipe your eyes with the back of your hand, sniffling. Yoongi approaches your shaken figure, crouching down to your level. You look up at him, and the raven tilts his head slightly. “So Wonder Woman, you ready to accept a ride today?”
You sigh, slowly nodding your head. You didn’t think you could ride back on the bike after this. Yoongi stands up, extending a hand for you to take. You stare at this hand, your mind only thinking about all the blood that’s probably covered it once before. “C’mon, sweetheart. You gotta get back to work, don’t you?”
You hesitantly take his hand, letting the raven pull you up to your feet. “H-how did you know I was back here?” You ask him curiously. “I saw your bike.”
‘Yeah right, you were following me…’
With your hand still in his, Yoongi leads you to his black Nissan Sentra. He opens the passenger door for you, and you climb in. The raven rounds the other side of the car, grabbing your bike from the bike lane. He opens the back door, adjusting his seats so he could fit the bike in. “That’s as good as it’s gonna get.” He mumbles, shutting the back door.
He finally climbs into the driver’s seat, slamming his car door close. You sit quietly as the car peels off. “Are you hurt? Did they–”
“Can we just not talk and sit in silence?” You cut him off. As if this jerk really cared about you. It’s his fault you were at the devil’s playground in the first place. The raven nods marginally, sitting in silence per your request. As the two of you kept the peace, your eyes ever so slightly peered over to him. “You know,” you started. “This is all your fault,” Yoongi smiles as though he knew you weren’t going to keep quiet. That just didn’t seem like your style. “If you hadn’t called me down here again, I wouldn’t have been assaulted.”
“So much for silence.” He chuckled.
“You think because you're a self proclaimed bad boy, with a horrific rep, and a cute smile that girls are supposed to fall at your feet. Well, I refuse to be one of them, okay? So, give it up.” The raven now has his eyes on you, a grin on his face as if he enjoyed your little outburst. “You done now, sweetheart? Did you get it all off your chest?” You huffed, looking out of the window. “Good.” The car goes mute again,  and you gently bite down on your bottom lip. You wanted to ask the raven questions that had been on your mind since you met him, but you were afraid of his reaction. You decide to take the risk anyway, considering your circumstances.
“Is it true what people say about you?”
Yoongi quirks a brow. “You’re gonna have to be more specific, princess. People say a lot of things about me.” You look away from the window, facing the man of many names. “Have you… killed people before?” You watch Yoongi’s facial expression change; it’s serious, dark. “If I’ve killed people do you really think I’d tell you?”
You shrug. “Probably not, but If you haven’t it would be a simple no.” The raven looks over at you, his eyes boring into yours. “No. I haven’t.”
One would feel relieved upon hearing that, but for some reason you didn’t quite believe him. Not with the way people seemed to stop breathing at his very presence.
Yoongi pulls up in front of Makoto, getting out of the car first to wedge your bike from his backseat. You open your door, following suit as you move around the car to take the bike from the raven. He closes the car door, leaning his back against it. The two of you stand in silence for a moment before you let out a deep sigh. “Thanks… for getting those guys off of me. Even though it’s your fault.” You mutter the last sentence. Yoongi smiles. “Don’t mention it, Princess. Maybe you can thank me in another way sometime.”
He pushes himself off of the car, pulling open his driver’s door. “You got something wrong about me yesterday in your little autobiography,” Yoongi stops, raising an eyebrow at you. “Jungkook isn’t my boyfriend. Yet.” You inform him. The raven hums. “Noted. That makes this even easier.”
“Easier?” You deride. “You really think you have a chance with me, don’t you?”
Yoongi shakes his head. “I don’t think I do, I know I do. You called my smile cute, remember? Pretty sure I’ve already got you.” He flashes a cocky smile your way before climbing into his car. The raven looks at you one last time before driving away, and you watch as the car flies down the road, disappearing from your sight.

Hello, I hope it's okay for me to send this to you. I just really wanted to share this experience with someone since it did genuinely make me happy
While I was waiting for a bus yesterday, a guy came up to me and asked me for a cigarette. I gave him one because he was really polite about asking, and he thanked me a lot for it. I overheard another stranger coming up to him, and asking him for a cigarette. Obviously, he didn’t have one because I gave him mine. BUT I overheard that they started talking to eachother. Just two complete strangers, having a seemingly very pleasant conversation. They got on the same bus as me, and I saw them sitting together and continuing to talk to eachother.
Even though I had no part in their exchange, it just really made me think that damn, that's so nice. There's good things and good people in the world
It is always okay to send me good things! This was perfectly lovely to wake up to!

day ten
I was getting tired of unexpected knocks on my hotel room door. Especially when it was much too early and I was already rushing to get ready after something had prevented me from properly packing my suitcase last night. Now I had mere minutes until I needed to be downstairs with the rest of the crew and the band because Bring Me had an awfully early bus call to get to Sheffield. I couldn’t blame them for that - it was home, after all. Most of them were using the day off to visit friends and family, but Oli and, as far as I knew Matt too, were heading for the store for the day.
I ripped the door open as much as I could under the weight to find none other than Oli himself standing in the hallway, an amused smirk on his face.
“I don’t know how well you slept last night, but this hotel really has to work on soundproofing their walls,” he chuckled, letting himself in just past the doorway as I stood frozen. “‘Cause I was definitely wide awake hearing two people have the fuck of their lives. Like, holy shit, staying quiet definitely wasn’t part of their vocabulary at all. Did you hear them at all?”
“I…”
“Not gonna lie, it sounded pretty hot, I was almost a little tempted to, you know.”
He raised his eyebrows at me as he motioned toward his crotch.
“Oli-”
“Did you really not hear anything?”
The bathroom door opened so abruptly I almost jumped at the sound. Noah had freshened up but was still very much in yesterday’s clothes and extremely sleepy. I could basically see the gears turning in Oli’s head as he looked back and forth between us.
“That was you! Oh you dirty, dirty kids,” he laughed. Noah looked thoroughly confused, still standing in the doorway of the bathroom. Oli gave another chuckle, but something was amiss. I’d known him for years. I knew Oli’s teasing face, the way he sounded, the way his eyes crinkled in earnest. This wasn’t it. And it kept me silent, somehow.
“Well, bus call’s soon, so no time for a second round, eh?” His voice didn’t match his words. I couldn’t quite figure it out just yet, but it made me feel uncomfortable and awkward. Noah seemed to think the same as he stayed suspiciously silent, toying with the hem of his shirt.
“Yeah, no, I’ll… I’ll catch you downstairs, yeah?” I finally managed to vomit out. Oli simply nodded, raised his hand in what I assumed should be a form of goodbye and then vanished back into the hallway.
It was only when the door clicked back into its lock that Noah moved next to me. Grabbing whatever he had left in the room - he briefly paused as he saw the bottle of Hennessey, but ultimately decided not to touch it - he got ready as if his bus call was imminent.
“I keep fucking up,” he said, more to himself than anything else as he moved past me to put on his shoes.
“Noah, you’re-”
“No, I am. It’s- it’s fine, I just need to-”
My hand on his arm stopped him just before he reached the door. He looked so conflicted, so torn, that it broke my heart along with his. I wanted to tell him it was going to be okay, that we could be okay, that Oli would be okay, but even in my head it sounded like a lie. I couldn’t promise him something like that. All I could do was allow myself to be his for the taking if he ever decided to, well, take me on.
I pulled him down with a hand on his neck and put my lips on it and I hoped it would tell him everything I couldn’t say.
•••
Oli wasn’t waiting for me when I arrived downstairs. He wasn’t in the parking lot either. Or downstairs in the bus, or in the lounge. But the curtain of his bunk was pulled tightly shut and it worried me beyond belief. I wasn’t quite sure what exactly had caused him to withdraw, but my brain was providing me with a multitude of options, spinning through all of them at lighting speed as if it could make me decide on one of them, and it made me dizzy.
Especially because simply pulling away was so out of character for him. I’d expected him to make a fuss, pick a fight, get mean, argue with either me or Noah or both of us at such a volume that the rest of the hotel voluntarily evacuated, but none of that had happened. Not even a tiny remark shot our way. Not a single item thrown around the bus in frustration.
Either way, I was just so over not communicating.
Aubrey u up?
I was almost shaking waiting for his reply. It seemed silly, texting him the very thing he’d texted me that first night before the tour had really started, but I hoped he would recognise it and not consider my joking offensive when he was dealing with… something. When my phone displayed a new message, I almost threw it away in surprise, as if I’d been expecting radio silence.
Oli Is this a bootycall?
So - he didn’t hate me. And he remembered. It was a relief, really. With a slight smile playing on my face, I walked back towards his bunk and pulled the curtain back. He didn’t noticeably react, simply kept lying with his back turned to me. He did, however, shuffle forward just the tiniest bit and I took it as an invitation to climb in and shut the curtain behind me.
It was a tight fit, both of us in his bunk, especially since Oli had gotten noticeably more buff than the last time we’d done this on a tour, but with a bit of rearranging and me spooning him closely, we made it work. I placed my hand over his heart, feeling it beat underneath my fingertips, so fast it was almost concerning.
“Hey,” I whispered, quietly, as if anyone else could overhear us, as if it would matter if they did. Oli didn’t answer in words, but put his hand over mine, stroking the skin delicately. “Talk to me.”
“Don’t wanna,” he mumbled, like a stubborn little child. I couldn’t see his face, but I imagined him to be pouting as he spoke. Was this better than the explosions we usually faced when he got mad? I decided yes.
“Oli,” I replied, hoping his name in my mouth would sound vaguely scolding. “We talked about that. Communication and all that? Come on. I can’t bear it when you withdraw like this.”
He sighed so heavily it moved my body along with his.
“It’s embarrassing though.”
“And you can blush all you like, but you’re going to tell me. I’m not even looking at you. It literally won’t get better than this. And I won’t let you off the hook any time soon, I hope you know that.”
He grumbled for a little bit longer but I sat it out, knowing he’d come around sooner or later. The sooner was reached a lot more quickly than expected. I had been well prepared to spend most of the drive to Sheffield here, in silence, just holding him and waiting it out.
“It’s stupid, really, but seeing you with Noah this morning, knowing what you’d done…” He took a deep breath. I didn’t interrupt him even though the thoughts were already running through my head at high speed again. “I don’t mind that you fucked, you know. It just feels like… like he got something from you before I did and… it makes me feel like a leftover. Like the two of you don’t need me.”
I desperately tried to wrap my mind around what Oli was telling me. He was jealous that Noah got to have me first? That I’d decided - although it wasn’t much of a planned decision, but he couldn’t know that - to sleep with him before I considered Oli? That maybe I desired the other man more? Wanted him closer, in a more intimate setting, than Oli?
“And I know we’ve, like, done stuff before, all of us,” he continued. It seemed like now that he’d started, he barely managed to stop. “But I don’t just sleep with anyone and, fuck, this sounds so stupid, but I thought it might be special, sleeping with you for the first time, sleeping with both of you, and now I feel like I’m not really part of it anymore…”
He wasn’t just thinking about Noah being the first one to sleep with me. He was also thinking about me being the first one to sleep with Noah. I gave myself some time to think during the moments he stayed quiet. How would I have felt if they’d gotten together first? Leaving me as the odd one out, the one that hadn’t been present when they shared this new level of intimacy.
I probably would have felt rejected too.
“If it helps at all, neither of us planned to have sex last night,” I explained. “It was very much a spur of the moment thing after he crashed at mine because he’d been drinking. I think… I think I would have preferred it with you around as well.”
I hadn’t realised it until the words left my mouth, but it was true. Sleeping with Noah had been amazing - but if we’d shared that experience as a threesome, all sober and fully awake, it would have been phenomenal. I had no doubt about that.
“And you’re not second best. Not at all. You and Noah… I have so much love for both of you, in such different and such similar ways all at once. I could never prefer him over you, just like I could never prefer you over him. I’m sorry that it happened like this and that you had to find out like that.”
I didn’t know what else to say. How else to make him understand. I couldn’t take back what had happened. I couldn’t magically turn back time and turn Noah down, or make Oli appear in the room too. I could only try to make up for it moving forward. And I planned to.
“Dinner’s still on tonight, right? The three of us?”
Oli nodded. I wouldn’t have noticed if we’d not been so close. I pressed a kiss into his dark locks.
“We’ll make it up to you. Noah and I. Promise. Will you let us?”
It took a moment of Oli struggling for me to realise he was attempting to turn around. I almost slid off the edge, already imagining myself falling to the floor in the little walkway between bunks, but Oli quickly shifted and put an arm around me in the most complicated way to keep me safe. There was a lot more shuffling, trying to keep our limbs intact and our hair from getting caught up somewhere, until we settled on a final position, our legs intertwined, foreheads pressed against each other.
“As if I could ever resist you, Aubrey. You and Noah, both.”
•••
As it turned out, I didn’t have all that much to do when I travelled to the store with Oli and Mat. Most of the organisational matters had been taken care of by the local workers, those in charge of Drop Dead and everything around it, and I was barely much more than a glorified babysitter as I ushered Oli back and forth to where he was needed.
At least his mood had improved considerably. I hoped I had played some sort of part in it. When he talked to the people around him, waved to a couple of fans, studied the designs he’d helped with, I knew it wasn’t a facade. He was truly happy here, and I caught myself thinking that maybe he could be truly happy with me and Noah, too.
“I don’t really know how long this will take, but it might be a while, so if you want to leave, I don’t know, walk through the city, get a nap, you really don’t have to stay here,” Oli told me when I managed to catch up with him. I knew he meant it. He wasn’t one for playing games like that. “I can text you and Noah the address of the place I reserved at, and the time. How’s that sound?”
I agreed, not because I was bored but because I felt wholly unneeded and kept standing in the way. The question of what I was going to do with my time was answered much quicker than expected as I ran into Becky on the way out.
“You know, I think we get a discount on this stuff. And if not I’ll make Oli give you one,” I grinned as I watched her flip through some of the shirts.
“Thank god, because this shit is expensive,” she replied, immediately letting go of the fabric in ther hands. “What do you say we go for an equally as overpriced coffee instead?”
“I do love me a good dose of caffeine,” I admitted.
Becky held out her arm for me to take it and I complied with a giggle, leaving the store with her and wandering the streets, making small talk as we tried to find a coffee shop to our liking. When we finally located one, ordered and sat down, I felt all the exhaustion I’d been carrying with me take over. I sank deeper into the comfortable armchair, wondering if it’d be inappropriate to get in a little cat nap.
“Looks like Oli is keeping you up. Or was that Noah?”
I briefly panicked, wondering if, somehow, word had gotten around that I’d slept with Noah.
“You’re hanging out with both of them a lot. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted trying to keep my one man at home happy, never mind two. And those two out of everyone! You truly picked the most exhausting ones to be friends with.”
I breathed a sigh of relief, hoping it wasn’t too visible and took a quick sip of coffee to hide my embarrassment.
“Yeah, they're… a handful. But I doubt it's much better for them, I'm sure I can be just as exhausting,” I laughed. “So you got a man at home, hm? Is he gonna visit on tour or has he already and I've simply missed him?”
“Oh no, he's going to be around in Dublin. It's where we live, actually. Got abducted to the other isle by an Irishman. In my defence though, he looks like Hozier's younger brother and he's just as tall, so really, how could I have resisted!”
“Tall men, eh,” I agreed, moving my cup to cheers with hers.
“Tall men, indeed.”
We stayed quiet for a moment, both of us lost in thoughts, but I wasn't a fan of the silence for long.
“Are you looking forward to going home then? We only have four more dates left, right?”
“So much. Unfortunately it's not for long. I'm leaving again on the 26th for the Bad Omens tour.”
“You’re heading on their tour with them?” This was news to me. I was well aware Bad Omens were still going to be in Europe for a while and I had absolutely been staring at those tour dates as they were selling out one by one, tempted to make a trip somewhere to see them headline, but with no work lined up it was impossible to plan. The fact that Becky had been hired by them hadn’t been relayed to me.
“Yeah, apparently they were looking for someone local and Bring Me suggested me since I’d already worked a few shows with them before. No rest for the wicked, eh!”
“No rest indeed,” I sighed. I wished I wouldn’t be getting any rest either. Maybe I should beg someone for a merch job on that tour. They probably had all their positions filled, but I was getting desperate at this point. Being away would also give me some time to find a new place to live. But did I have the guts to straight up beg for it, knownig I’d probably only get it because they took pity on me and not because they really needed me?
“So, you’re basically in a long-distance relationship then, with you being away so much, aren’t you?”
Becky exhaled into her cup of coffee. “We make it work, you know? It was tough in the beginning. He has a very steady, reliable, boring day job and I’m just all over the continent but we’ve accepted that about each other. We check in and I usually video call him in the evening. And, well you can get creative with what you do on video, too.”
I almost spewed out the coffee at her remark, knowing fully well by the tone in her voice what she was referring to. The wiggling eyebrows sealed the deal.
“Sorry,” she giggled. “Couldn’t help myself.”
“By all means, I’m glad you’re having a good sex life still.”
I put the cup back on the table. I wasn’t sure how long it had been empty for, but I knew I’d been holding onto it for no obvious reason.
“Did he ever mind? Knowing that being with you would mean being away from you for a long time?” I paused for a moment, suddenly feeling self-conscious about my questions. “Sorry, you don’t have to answer that, I’m just sitting here interrogating you like you’re on trial.”
“Oh, don’t worry about, darling. Ask all you want. For us, it was never a question, really. What can I say? We fell hard and fast. I could have moved to Australia and he would have made it work.”
I didn’t know why I felt like crying. I tried to hide the tears that were on the edge of emerging by organising the items on the little table in front of us until they had straightened out and seemed in order. Maybe that was more suspicious than me getting emotional.
“So, it’s all about love, isn’t it,” I said, trying hard not to sniffle. “As long as you love them enough, you make it happen.”
I only looked up when Becky put her hand over mine. Her eyes were soft, but there was no pity in them and I silently thanked her for it.
“Sometimes you have to realise just how in love you are first. Or allow yourself to admit it.”
•••
By pure luck and what I could only call a miracle, I bumped into Noah in the hallway of the hotel, on the way back to my room. He stopped immediately, and then let me into his room, assuring me it was empty for now, when he realised I didn’t want to have this conversation where we could possibly be overheard.
“Aubrey, I’m sorry,” he started but I held my hand up to stop him before he got any farther.
“I know. I know you are. I don’t know what kind of stuff you need to figure out for yourself, but I’m giving you the time to do it, okay? You’re always welcome in my room and, well, in my bed and just about everywhere else and if there’s things you want to discuss, I’ll make time for you. I’m just asking you not to keep going back and forth and changing your opinion and treating me like someone you’re dating as long as you’re not. Dating me that is. Alright?”
I took a deep breath, holding my head up high. Somewhere in the edges of my brain, I could almost hear Lia cheering me on, congratulating me for speaking my mind and putting up boundaries. I knew it was the right thing to do. For myself, for once.
“Alright,” he simply said. He deserved a little more space to think over what I’d just told him. I hoped he would.
“Well, in completely contrasting news, I hope you know we’re going out for dinner with Oli tonight?”
Noah nodded.
“Good. Because we’re going to treat him right, okay? He’s been… well, he feels a little left out of whatever the three of us have going on and that’s not happening on my watch. So we’re going to be real good to him tonight, whatever that entails and wherever we end up with. Anything to let him know he’s just as important and cherished. Is that something you can do?”
“Yeah… yeah, I think I can.”
“Good.” I gave him a smile, feeling the energy leave me as I finally got everything out I had come here to say. “Put on something nice. Apparently it’s a place that needed a reservation.” I walked a little closer, putting my hand on his chest. “I think we’d all enjoy the turtleneck a lot.”
•••
Oli and Noah looked positively divine when we met up at the restaurant later that night. Noah was every bit as gorgeous as I had hoped he’d be in the turtleneck. Even Oli gave him an appreciative whistle as he saw him, which once again caused Noah to sport a lovely little blush. Oli himself was wearing a white shirt that accentuated his broad shoulders and had entirely too few buttons opened. I briefly considered ignoring our dinner reservation as just taking them back to the hotel immediately and by the way the two of them were mustering me, those thoughts seemed to be mutual.
I’d made an effort. My black dress, thin, with lace and spaghetti straps, had an asymmetrical cut, showing off much more of my right thigh than my left. It was a shame I couldn’t wear it without tights, but the January cold simply wasn’t allowing it. The heels were the only ones I could walk in confidently, with a wide block heel, velvety and sexy. Both men still towered over me.
I’d also put on my dark red lipstick, at Oli’s request. The one that would smudge if touched. It might make dinner a little more complicated, but that was a challenge I was willing to accept.
Luckily, the place didn’t turn out to be too fancy, I realised as a waiter showed us to our seats, Oli’s hand on the small of my back and his other resting on Noah’s arm. Oli hadn’t needed a reservation because it was so impossibly packed during a random Thursday in January. He had needed one because he had asked for a very special table.
The waiter led us to a little platform on which sat what I could only describe as a bird-cage-esque structure, a hexagon of lightly coloured, wooden walls, two of them completely open and leading in and out of the main restaurant area, the other four adorned with a grid of windows. It seemed like there was a spotlight on it, right in the middle of the room, but as soon as I stepped inside and took my seat, I realised it also came with a lot of privacy. It was perfect.
“Bottle of wine?” Oli asked as we flipped through the drinks menu.
I looked over at Noah, but even before he could have seen me stare, he shook his head. “None for me today. I’s rather be sober.”
I wanted to tell him thank you and I know why but either would have opened up questions about what had happened the last two nights, things Oli wasn’t in the loop about, and it didn’t feel like my place to tell. Either way, Oli accepted quickly, ordering some water and and mocktails for the table, claiming that just because we were abstaining from alcohol didn’t mean we couldn’t have some fancy looking drinks.
“I can’t believe we only have four more shows on this run,” I sighed. I hadn’t meant to mention it really, but it was starting to weigh on my mind after my talk with Becky earlier. It had made me realise just how close we were to saying goodbye, going our separate ways. Oli back to recording the album, Noah still on tour, me… well, I’d have to figure that one out, too. So far my search for both a job and a place to stay hadn’t been very successful.
“Hey,” Oli interrupted my pondering, putting his hand over mine. Noah seemed to briefly feel left out, grabbing my other hand to mirror the sentiment. “No being sad at our date. It’s not like we’ll never see each other after.”
I wasn’t quite that confident in the future, but he was right. Now was not the time or place to start overthinking.
“Date, eh?” I joked instead. Deep down, I wanted confirmation, but I was too cowardly to ask outright. Then I remembered Noah’s hesitation to the idea of us going on a date before, but he was simply sipping his newly arrived drink, either ignoring the underlying question or being at peace with it. I couldn’t quite figure it out yet.
“I figured it should be one, you know,” Oli mused in fake contemplation. “Only seems fair to take you two out for dinner before I fuck you.”
If Noah had been slightly apathetic at the conversation before, he now put himself in the middle of it as he did a literal spit take, droplets of his mocktail landing on the wooden table. I was quick to mop it up with my napkin, trying to hold the laughter at bay. Oli didn’t care. He gave a bark that was loud enough to be heard by just about everyone in the restaurant. There were some spots on Noah’s turtleneck too and even though they would probably dry to be invisible on the dark shirt, I reached out to pat at it too.
He stood up a little abruptly, feeling the wet fabric with his fingers. “I’m just gonna head to the bathroom. Order me the chickenburger, yeah?”
Oli and I were still giggling by the time he disappeared from view.
“Should I go after him?” he questioned with a smirk. “Or is that gonna make things worse?”
“The latter probably,” I giggled. “He might think you’re trying to fuck him in the bathroom stalls.” Oli made a face that suggested he was thinking about it. I smacked my hand against his shoulder. “I’ll go check on him. Order me whatever, you know what I like.”
By the time I’d reached the toilets, Noah was already exiting the room again. I approached him slowly, a hand coming to rest on his chest when I was close enough.
“Oli a bit much for you?”
“When is he not,” he sighed but immediately followed it up with a smile. “It just came a little unexpectedly.”
His hand reached for mine, again, playing with my fingers and stroking the back of it as I kept it on his chest, heavy breathing underneath.
“You know he doesn’t expect anything of you, right? You don’t have to go home with him, or us. And if you do, no one’s making you do anything. He knows you’ve never, you know… been with a man like that.”
“I want to,” Noah stated, voice much more steadfast that I would have expected. “I really do. I’m just… nervous I won’t be any good.”
“Oli’s so into you, I don’t think he’d care even if you did everything wrong your possibly could,” I giggled. Relief flooded my veins when he joined in. “Besides, he’s no better off. He talks a lot of shit and he’s really good at pretending, but unless he has a whole other life he hasn’t shared with me, his experience with men doesn’t go further than some drunken make-out sessions either.”
Noah nodded, perhaps slightly unconvinced, but a lot less jittery than before. I pressed a kiss to his lips, delighted by the fact that I didn’t have to get on my usual tiptoes with the heels I was wearing. He kept me there, for a moment, with his hand at the nape of my neck, even when the kiss had ended. Simply breathing each other in. I allowed him to decide when to break the contact. I figured he needed it.
“Thank you”, he whispered.
“What for?”
“Just being you.”
•••
The rest of our outing continued much less dramatically, but filled with laughter and little flirts. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d felt so good, just by being around these two. Oli had ordered for all of us as the waiter had indeed come by while Noah and I were gone. There was a good chance I was making heart eyes at him when a plate of curry appeared in front of me. He’d known it was my favourite. He seemed to know it all, I realised.
We ended up squeezed in the backseat of a cab, each of us with a to-go back with desserts on our laps. Oli insisted on taking them, even though neither of us were thinking very much about eating right about now. The tension in the backseat was thick - not necessarily bad, considering growing arousal and excitement were pumping through my veins as I tried to imagine what was to come.
The car took a sharp turn, prompting a low gasp from Noah when my body pressed closer to his. On his exhale, a soft hum was pulled from his throat. A reminder that I wasn’t the only one who was about to benefit from this.
The scenery outside changed, restaurants and cafés and shops giving way to a residential area, little blocks of flat, small houses with tiny gardens in front. Not the industrial complexes, the hotels, the high-rise buildings I was expecting.
“This isn’t the way to the hotel.”
As I turned to Oli, I was caught off guard by the smirk on his face. That fucker. He had ordered the cab, he had planned this. Planned - what, though? He let out a chuckle at my confusion, clearly pleased with my reaction.
“Because we’re not going there.” Oli leaned in, lips brushing my ear, yet speaking loudly enough that Noah wouldn’t be left out of the conversation. “Did you really think I’d let you bed me in a random hotel room and not my place when we’re in Sheffield?”
Noah tensed next to me. As I turned to look at him, Oli’s lips once again brushing my skin, I realised he was clutching the takeaway container a little more desperately. He’d definitely heard. And by the way he was trying to press the box down against his crotch, it had gotten him just as hot as it had gotten me.
The driver announcing our arrival saved either of us from reacting to the fact that Oli had just all but told the driver we were going to hook up in some capacity or other. All of us scrambled to get out into the cold night, no thoughts left but to get inside as quickly as possible. All I wanted was to get those two undressed, get my hands on them, my lips, I didn’t care if it was going to be a bedroom or not. I was beyond superficial details like that.
Noah wrapped an arm around me as I shivered in my coat, both of us careful not to drop the desserts. The building towered over us, several stories high and quite obviously new. Much more expensive than I could ever afford. I hoped it would have more soul once we were inside. Oli unlocked the door, the little Powerpuff Girls charm dangling from his key ring, and led us to the lift. It went all the way to the top floor where he let us into his apartment.
It was… perfectly Oli. The place had a homely feel to it, not small enough to feel cramped, not big enough to get lost in the feeling of its vastness. I wanted to stay forever, go through his things, study the way he decorated, how he sorted his stuff, what he had kept over the years and what had gotten moved into a faraway closet that never got opened. All the things that made him tick.
The large bookcase was filled with novels that called out for me to leaf through, study their contents, let my fingers run along their spines, ask him which ones he had read yet, see how his collection compared to my much smaller one. Little trinkets and souvenirs from all over the world were placed in between. So many stories to tell. So many anecdotes I hadn’t gotten to hear yet.
My eyes fell on the floor-length windows. They provided a stunning view all over the city, lights twinkling in the dark. I could stay here and watch forever. If I could afford it, I’d surely get a place like this too. As I stepped closer, trying to avoid the glare from inside lights, the container in my hands almost bumped into the window pane. Right. The desserts.
“Oli, where do-”
While I had been exploring Oli’s living room, Noah had apparently started exploring Oli’s body. The takeaway boxes safely set on the counter of the open kitchen, the two of them were tightly intertwined. Oli was holding Noah close, his arms wrapped around the other’s waist as Noah perfectly molded himself to Oli’s chest. His own hands were impatiently touching his back, his arse, his shoulders, as if they couldn’t get enough of what they were feeling. It was a familiar sentiment.
I approached the pair, dropping the takeaway next to theirs, allowing my fingers to trail over both of their bodies. Noah pulled back when he realised, lips already red from the intense kiss.
“Bedroom?” I simply asked. Noah nodded enthusiastically as Oli untangled himself with a smirk. He led us through a short hallway, past his bathroom which seemed even more luxurious than the hotel ones I’d been fawning over, and into his bedroom, the second to last door.
It was much less decorated than the living area, but still drew me in. The dark carpet, heavy curtains that hid the window, the plush bed - the bed was large enough that, if I hadn’t known better, I would have assumed Oli had ordered it specifically for the three of us. We’d fit in much better than at the hotel which was more than an advantage for what we were planning to do that night.
Noah seemed to have the same thought as he pushed Oli onto the mattress, immediately dropping to his knees in front of him and starting to work on removing Oli’s trousers. Not wanting to be left out, I moved onto the bed as well, slowly unbuttoning Oli’s dress shirt, one by one, my fingers tracing over every inch of hot skin that revealed itself. Oli was already growing restless, one of his hands covering mine to speed up my movements, but I remained relentless.
I didn’t care to remove the shirt completely as I pushed the fabric away, revealing a chest full of tattoos I would never get sick of staring at. Oli’s breathing quickened as I let my fingertips run over the lines, his nipples, up his neck.
“Aubrey, I swear to god, if you don’t kiss me soon-”
I leaned down, letting my lips touch the shell of his ear, just as he had done in the cab.
“Yeah? Then what?”
I didn’t torture him by waiting for an answer, instead putting my lips on his with no further warning, immediately catching him in a passionate kiss. He sighed, then gasped into it, leaving me to wonder what Noah was currently up to, but when Oli tried to get me to open my mouth, deepen our connection further, I pulled back. His lips were tinted red now, a slight stain of my lipstick even on the skin around his mouth.
I wasn’t quite sure why yet, but it was a sight that utterly captivated me and made me adore him more. I wanted to kiss him stupid, leave my mark all over, see my lips all over his body, every day. I pressed another kiss on his cheek, then in the middle of the rose on his neck, where the red was losing itself in between the thicker, black lines, a colouring book I wanted to try all my shades on.
Looking behind me, I watched as Noah pulled Oli’s underwear down his legs, discarding them without much care, much too preoccupied with the way Oli’s dick bounced upward as it was freed from the fabric, already considerably hard and mouth-wateringly delicious. Feeling my stare on him, he managed to tear his gaze away, only to grin at me in the most devilish way, motioning for me to join him on the floor. I did without hesitation.
He pulled me in for a quick kiss, allowing me to leave more of my lipstick on him too, even though the marks were already becoming more faint in their intensity. I could only imagine the way my own face looked, colour shifting around my mouth, no precision left in the outline.
“Help me treat Oli right?” Noah whispered against my lips. “I bet he’ll love two mouths on his dick even more than one.”
He did. He couldn’t be blamed - I wasn’t sure how I’d cope if I had two pairs of lips, two tongues, playing with my pussy at the same time. As soon as Noah and I both started leaving teasing little kisses on Oli’s length, he dissolved into a puddle of moans. He was still propped up on his elbows, watching the two of us on our knees, so it was impossible to tell if it was just the feeling of it or the visual as well.
It wasn’t the most technically perfect blowjob in history as Noah and I kept clashing, getting more and more lost in our own lust of getting our mouths on Oli, tasting him, swallowing him, then licking him while the other person swallowed him. Oli’s hands were all over the place, completely uncoordinated as they grasped at the backs of our heads, our hair, the bedsheets, anything they could find. One of my hands had travelled to Noah’s crotch.
I was much too distracted to do much but enjoy the way he was growing in his trousers. Or how my knees were uncomfortably rubbing against the hard floor. My brain was clouded with lust and the need to get Oli to come. Tonight was going to be all about him, in away he’d let it, and just the thought of spending a few more hours with my hands on Oli, getting him high again and again, hopefully finally feeling his dick inside me, had me delirious.
“Fuck, I’m not gonna last,” Oli mumbled. When his hand found the back of my head again, gripping my hair and pulling me off him, it was with intention. His eyes were almost pleading when I looked up. “Can I-?”
I nodded before he posed the complete question. He could. In fact, I was gagging for it. As much as I’d enjoyed blowjobs before in my life, never had I been craving for their smells, their taste, their cum as much as I did with these two.
Noah pulled away, letting his fingers play with the part I wouldn’t manage to get in my mouth, fondling his balls, as I slowly took Oli as deep as I could without gagging, still missing a good portion, but all aspirations to swallow him whole would have to wait another day.
Oli wasn’t lying when he said he was close. His hips were starting to shift off the bed, fighting a losing battle as he tried to keep himself from fucking my mouth, his noises an amalgamation I wanted to record and put in a song. When he came, he did so with a punched-out sound, shallow thrusts that slowly stopped as I swallowed as much as I could. When I let him drop from my mouth, I could feel some of it dripping from my lips still. Noah caught me in a kiss, greedily licking at them until there was nothing left.
“Jesus Christ, you two are nasty,” Oli groaned, but all of us knew it was the opposite of a complaint. He sat up a little more, face flushed, looking utterly satisfied. “Now why the fuck are you still dressed?”
I stood up eagerly. The whole scene between the three of us had gotten me uncomfortably wet, my panties noticeably sticky. I didn’t care what exactly would follow, as long as it included an orgasm of my own sooner or later. I’d barely grasped the seam of my dress when Noah’s hands appeared on my legs. Their warmth seeped through my tights, mixing with the hotness of my own skin.
“Let me,” he whispered, still on his knees, hands travelling upward, slowly and teasingly, until they reached the hem of my tights. He rolled down the fabric, over my thighs, where he paused to press a kiss to the snake tattoo, over my knees, my shins. He only stopped to take off my boots, then resumed his task, until my feet and legs were bare.
For a moment, as I looked down, Noah on his knees before me, those big brown eyes staring up at me, adoration radiating from his whole being, his hands under my dress, it felt like a worship I wasn’t deserving of.
Then, he got up to pull the dress over my head before I could ruminate on it or start to cry. Noah never let me miss his touch for too long, toying with the clasp of my bra as he peppered kisses all over the side of my neck, finally unhooking and removing it completely, only for his lips to attach themselves to my nipples. I couldn’t seem to do much but take it all in, sighing at each and every touch, purely giving into pleasure.
His fingers were tracing over the fabric, so lightly I could barely feel it at all, but it was enough to cause my knees to buckle and my hands to grasp onto his body for fear of falling. I was so hopelessly turned on, every tiny thing had me losing my mind.
“She’s so fucking wet, she’s basically dripping on my fingers,” Noah chuckled. “Where do you want her?”
“Right here, on my face.”
I stiffened immediately, eyes snapping open and staring at Oli, who had gotten comfortable on the bed, in all his naked glory, motioning for me to join him. I felt equal parts insecure and excited - I’d never sat on anyone’s face. Not only had no one ever offered, I was also terrified of being too much. My thighs suffocating the other person. Looking awful from their angle. Not being able to come because I was so tense from holding myself up so desperately.
But Oli… Oli wasn’t just looking at me with lust. He wasn’t doing this for any reason but because he craved it. Because he knew he could make it good for me. And, even if my heart was beating out of my chest with nerves, I trusted him.
“I thought tonight was going to be all about you?” I teased, still stalling. Noah was busy pulling my underwear down my legs, tapping on each ankle in turn so I would lift my feet, aiding him in removing the item.
“Who said this is anything but a treat for me?”
Somehow, that sealed the deal. On slightly shaky legs, I crossed the short distance, climbed on the bed and then hesitated as I kneeled next to Oli’s body.
“How-”
I didn’t need to finish the question. Oli, once again, knew exactly what I was thinking.
“Face that way,” he ordered, motioning toward the room, toward the other man. “I’m sure Noah can think of something to make it even better for you.”
With a nod, I awkwardly climbed over Oli’s body, trying to position myself over his face, much too preoccupied with what I was doing and how it would look and whether I might squish Oli to watch the other man. I found myself shuffling, again and again, the muscles in my thighs straining as I held myself up. I didn’t know where to put my hands, or whether to lean in any particular way. Even Noah removing his tight turtleneck and shoving down his trousers couldn’t sufficiently distract me.
“Aubrey, what the fuck are you doing,” Oli mumbled from underneath me, making me halt in my movements.
“I just-”
“It’s called sitting on someone’s face, not hovering.”
I was about to protest, but then his hands heavily grasped onto my thighs, pulling me down so decidedly that I had no option to fight against it, and then, the words still on my tongue, he licked through my wetness and I was so over convincing him of anything that didn’t include his mouth on me.
A moan was ripped from my throat as I dropped my hands forward onto Oli’s chest. Fuck. I’d severely underestimated just how turned on I was. His tongue was flicking my clit ever so slightly, every now and then, before going back to explore the rest of my pussy, and I was already throbbing.
Noah crawled onto the bed next to us, fully naked now, his hard cock standing proudly, and somehow, the pure sight of it heightened my arousal. I ground my hips downward, unable to get enough of Oli, but his hands, clasped tightly on my thighs, kept me exactly where he wanted me. It was as exhilarating as it was frustrating.
I was desperate to come now. I was desperate to feel something inside of me, too, in addition to Oli’s tongue on my clit, but I didn’t want to beg. Not yet. And this night was about Oli - if he’d wanted his fingers in me, they would already be there. All I could do was let myself fall into the sensations, trust that his teasing would result in an orgasm, and study Noah, who was now climbing onto Oli’s frame as well.
I watched as he took his own cock in his hand, admiring the way his fingers looked wrapped around it, then he ground his hips against Oli’s. Oli’s dick gave a twitch in response, ready to grow hard once again, and the moan vibrated through me so deliciously that I felt like screaming. I kept eye contact with Noah through it, as difficult as it was becoming. His smile told me he knew exactly what he was doing - both to Oli and to me.
With a sly grin, Noah repeated his action. His whole body shuddered at the contact, obviously desperate for release, but his focus was solely on Oli and me. Oli moaned again, loud enough that I could both hear and feel it, and it was good, it was so much more than good, and I needed it badly, so, so badly. Noah knew. He grasped onto both of their dicks now, wrapping his long fingers about him and Oli, getting the other more and more hard, jacking both of them off.
Oli was growing restless again, his hips thrusting upward to meet Noah’s movements, his mouth now constantly moaning against me, his vibrations ever increasing. He closed his lips around my clit now, so delicately and yet strongly enough and I came, shouting and screaming and clawing at his chest as my legs trembled and then gave in, almost dropping fully on Oli’s body.
Noah was quicker, though, catching me easily, strong hands holding me up until I managed to drop onto the mattress as all of my muscles refused to work. Then he bent down toward Oli and I turned my head just quickly enough to see the wetness I had left on Oli’s face and how Noah proceeded to kiss all of it away.
Oli lost himself in it for a moment, but he wouldn’t let Noah have the upper hand for long. With a quick move, he turned the two of them around, trapping Noah against the mattress. Noah, so tall and broad, suddenly looked utterly smitten and small underneath him.
“How have we gone so long without my mouth on your dick,” Oli mused as he kissed his way down Noah’s chest. “You already got to suck me off twice.” He was now palming Noah’s dick, his mouth stilling somewhere along his hips. “Now it’s time for me to get mine. You gonna be a good boy, Noah? Keep your hips still so I can blow you? You better be or this is gonna be over before you know it.”
Noah nodded, eagerly, falling into this submissive role with ease, which I couldn’t help but take note of. It was fascinating watching him, who was always so self-assured and in control on stage, let go of it all and simply put himself into Oli’s hands, knowing and trusting he would get exactly what he needed, if not always what he wanted.
Oli’s mouth hovered over Noah’s dick now, his breath already hitting the tip, but before he gave into Noah’s wishes, he turned his head toward me. I’d since sat up, craving nothing more than a front-row seat to the spectacle as my body slowly came back to life.
“And you be a good girl too and prepare yourself for me, yeah? I’m going to fuck you when he’s finished and I’m not going to put any fingers in you first.”
My face was heating up with such intensity, I could only imagine how red it was. But I, too, nodded, shifting my body slightly and parting my legs, ready to do as he asked. What I was seeing in front of me would drench me once again in no time anyway.
Oli engulfed Noah’s tip without any further hesitation now. Noah’s hands flew to the back of Oli’s head, halting in their movements immediately but then relaxing into his hair as he realised Oli wasn’t going to scold him for it. I let my fingers wander between my thighs, another wave of wetness hitting me as I watched the two men. Oli had clearly done his research, expertly bobbing his head, taking Noah a little deeper, but keeping to the rules he had put to Noah just days before to save his voice for the rest of the tour and moving his hand to pleasure all of him.
When I slipped a finger inside of me, I found no resistance, just slick walls begging for more, begging to be filled properly, so I let another finger join. The noises of me pumping my fingers in and out were impossible to ignore, but they still paled in comparison to Noah’s low groans and the way Oli was starting to drool around Noah’s cock.
The third finger was a stretch, but Oli was big enough that I knew I needed it to take him comfortably. I didn’t mind it. I enjoyed it just that bit more if it was a little too much, a little too intense, a little too fast. I would probably love taking Oli without any preparation at all. I pushed the thought away for another day.
Noah was close now. I could tell from the noises that escaped his mouth, the way his fingers were all but tearing at Oli’s hair. He had trouble keeping his hips down, but if there was one thing to know about Oli is that his threats usually weren’t empty. Oli sped up further, both his mouth and his hand. I quickly removed my fingers from my pussy, just in time, as Noah came, moaning so beautifully, unable to stop thrusting into Oli’s mouth once, twice. I would have come on the spot too if I’d still been touching myself.
Oli pulled himself off, licking up everything that had escaped him from Noah’s cock, who whined pitifully. The way he wiped his mouth on his hand almost seemed obscene. Even after all that had transpired already. Noah was busy catching his breath, eyes closed, looking utterly satisfied. Oli, however, was far from done.
Crawling over to the bedside table, he opened the uppermost drawer. Filled with condoms, lube and wipes, as far as I could see, it obviously served as his closest assembly of anything he could need for spontaneous sex. Though I didn’t doubt he’d have a much bigger collection of things somewhere else. He blindly grabbed one of the condoms, tearing it open and rolling it onto his thick, hard erection. My mouth was watering already. In an instant, he was on me, pulling me into a bruising kiss.
“How did he fuck you, Aubrey?” His lips was wandering from my neck down to my chest, pushing me backwards until I was lying flat, then letting his teeth graze over my nipples. I cried out at the feeling, sensitive to a fault and yet not getting anywhere near enough. “Did you do it missionary, like an old couple? Did he make you ride him, watch your pretty tits bounce? No… He did you from behind, didn’t he?”
His hands harshly grabbed onto my hips and before I knew it, Oli had turned me on my front, pulling me up to my knees in front of him. I propped myself up on my elbows, ready to let him do whatever he wanted to me as long as it involved his dick in me. His fingertips were digging into my flesh now, hard enough that I knew it would leave bruises. I couldn’t wait to see them.
“Let’s see who can do it better, doll.”
I didn’t have any more time to prepare as he pushed in roughly, not stopping until he was entirely buried in me and I was crying out at the delicious stretch. He felt amazing in me, even without moving, but when he finally did, it brought me to new heights without any trouble at all. He didn’t show any mercy, thrusting so hard that the bed was moving along with us, the sound of skin slapping echoing the room. I gave myself over to him completely, allowing him to treat me however he liked, utterly brainless, unable to care about anything but the fire in my lower belly burning hotter and hotter.
I barely realised Noah was moving, much too distracted by the way Oli was fucking me to take note of anything else, until he appeared in my field of vision, fumbling with the drawer Oli had left open. Curious, I tried my best to lift my head to see what his plan was, but Oli gave me another hard thrust that caused my arms to falter completely, my chest hitting the mattress. I didn’t try to hoist myself up again.
I heard a click, some shuffling behind me, then-
“Fuck!” Oli exclaimed, pushing into me again with a shudder. “Oh, fuck.”
I didn’t know what had just changed, but suddenly, Oli was a mess, irregular in how he fucked me. I pushed back into him, missing the rhythm he had established, but he was still slightly distracted.
“Fuck, Noah, that’s-”
I allowed myself to turn my head, struggling with the position, but managing just enough to see Noah standing behind Oli. There was no way to see exactly what was happening, but with the way Oli was now arching both toward me and toward Noah, his body seemingly unable to decide which way to go and-
“Did Noah just put a finger in your arse?”
“Two, love. Two;” Oli moaned, losing control at the treatment. Then, as if remembering his main goal, he crowded against my back, positioning me just the way he liked and fucked me hard, again, bringing me to the brink of my orgasm in a matter of moments.
I was loving the sounds in the room, the filthy atmosphere, the way Oli and I were chasing our heights, the way Noah made himself part of it, how Oli faltered under it. It was only a matter of moments, my own hand reaching between my legs, and then I was clenching around Oli, crying out at the force that hit me, riding it until I felt utterly spent, letting Oli, who was now nothing but a sweaty mess against my back, fuck me harshly until he came too, shooting into the condom with high-pitched moans.
Oli just about managed to pull out before collapsing on my back, pressing me into the mattress, until I started struggling underneath him, his ever heavier growing figure leaving me gasping for a breath I wasn’t able to catch yet anyway. Noah was the one who ended up providing the most aftercare, stashing the lube he’d used on Oli, passing around wipes and water he got from somewhere I couldn’t quite follow, but he was also the only one out of us whose brain still seemed to work at least a little.
I ended up making grabby hands at him like a little child as the sweat on my body slowly turned cold, leaving an entirely different type of goosebumps to wreak havoc on my skin. Noah saw, pulling the plush blanket up with him as he got into bed next to me, making sure to tuck both me and Oli in before hugging close to me.
Oli was still on his back, staring at the ceiling, apparently questioning… his life, maybe? He certainly looked like it. I figured it might have had something to do with the surprise action he got from behind this time. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a first for him.
Oli, who always seemed so experience, never showed any hesitation or shyness about anything we did, surely had his boundaries too. And letting someone finger his arse surely wasn’t something he casually shared with a lot of people. What would that mean for the two of them? Noah had taken a brave step today. All I could hope was that it would open a door to more between the two of them. I knew they wanted it; they simply needed to admit it too.
Noah was still nestled into my side when Oli finally decided it was time to cuddle for him as well. There was no room for talking, not tonight. All of the unspoken things were going to be left to fester in our brains for a little while more, threatening to become more clear as the post-orgasmic haze lifted bit by bit, but I was hoping we’d be drifting off to sleep before it engulfed us. Talking was for tomorrow. No travelling, very few things on the agenda, a hometown show at night. It could wait.
Oli’s mouth was on my neck, nuzzling his nose into my hair. But this time, his warm breath was comforting instead of arousing. Until he left a much-too-hard bite on my earlobe, obnoxious as usual, and I blindly swatted at his head.
I was just about to drift off, fully comfortable sandwiched between the two men, when Oli spoke up.
“So, who fucked you better, doll, me or Noah?”
I wanted to be appalled, offended or at least pretend I was, but all that happened was that an insane giggle left my mouth, shaking my whole body until it had spread to the sides and taken Oli and Noah as well. Noah buried his head into the other side of my neck as I awkwardly slung my arm around him. Turning my face toward Oli, I grabbed onto his chin just enough to move his mouth to mine, pressing a short but heavy kiss against it.
“Guess you’ll both have to fuck me during the same evening for optimal comparisons.”

Chapter Twenty-Five
chapter warnings: none? masterlist :)
guys it's happening... this is the last kinda "normal" chapter that i've written before the big ending (which i'm hoping to be three parts!!)... how are we feeling because i'm SCARED
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
You got off the bus and were instantly hit by the warm Californian air. You looked around, wondering where everyone was, until you heard the sound of Folio’s laugh. You spotted them down by the water, but there was somebody who hadn’t joined them…
“Nobody thought to wake me up?” You chuckled, sitting down beside Nicholas, who was recording his friends playing in the water on his camera.
“Sleep is sacred on tour,” he chuckled, “It’s an unwritten rule, if anyone has a nap on a day off then we don’t bother waking them up.”
“But we’re at the beach,” you smiled, running your fingers through the sand, “How long have we been here?”
“About an hour…”
“Is that…?” You had to squint, the sun blinding you as you tried to work out who’s silhouette was whose. “Alyson?”
“I don’t think I’ve seen Matt this happy ever,” Ruffilo smiled, “It’s hard leaving your partner at home for all these months.”
“Is your girlfriend not here?” You asked, also spotting Jolly’s girlfriend Nicole.
“No, she’s in Tokyo on a business trip.” He said proudly, “But we both get home at the same time so it works out.”
You smiled, resting your head on Ruffilo’s shoulder as you continued watching the guys.
Were you seeing this right?
Were you still dreaming?
There was no way…?
“Nick, I’m awake right? This isn’t a dream?”
“I don’t think so,” he laughed, “Want me to pinch you?”
“I think I might have to ask if you can…”
“I don’t want to hurt you… Why don’t I do this instead?” He said before poking your shoulder. “Still dreaming?”
“No…” You furrowed your eyebrows, “Are Vin and Noah…?”
“Getting along?” Ruffilo chuckled, “At last.”
You blinked, still trying to process what was happening in front of you. Clearly whatever you had put them through in the car yesterday had really worked.
Vinny and Noah were sitting back to back, Ryan and Jolly (who looked like they had fallen asleep) were both buried in the sand, their heads being the only visible part of them, whilst Noah and Vin built what you assumed were meant to be sandcastles on top of each of them.
“Dude, you call that a sandcastle?” Noah laughed, leaning back to inspect Vinny’s lopsided sculpture?
“It’s abstract, man,” Vinny shot back, brushing some sand off his hands. “You wouldn’t get it.”
“No, I don’t.” Noah replied, smirking as he grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at his back.
Vinny gasped dramatically, before getting up and turning to look at Noah's work.
“Let’s see your masterpiece, Picasso.”
Noah smirked as he scooped up a pile of sand and started adding it onto his sand castle with exaggerated concentration, neither of them noticing you watching.
“You two better be quick. The tide’s gonna start coming in, and I wouldn’t like to see our guitarists drown.” Justin said with a chuckle, crossing his arms as he walked back from the sea.
“Don’t worry about them!” Vinny waved him off, gesturing at the lumpy sand structure in front of him, built over Ryan’s chest. “The tide’s gonna have to wait for us, this is important, Justin. Art takes time! You should know that.”
“Yeah,” Noah added, adding some finishing touches to the side of his own sand sculpture. “You can’t rush greatness… I say that all the time. ”
“You seeing this?” Justin laughed, looking over at you, “Weeks of arguing, and all we needed to do was take them to the beach?”
You stifled a laugh, finally snapping out of your disbelief.
“I think it’s kind of sweet.”
“Sweet? It’s two grown men in a petty sandcastle competition.”
“Hey, this is serious business!” Vinny protested.
“Yeah,” Noah agreed, “We’re seeing who can build the biggest castle over their guitarist before they wake up, and Jolly's the heaviest sleeper I know."
Matt happened to have somewhat of a similar reaction to you as he walked over, one hand holding his drink, his other holding Alyson’s. He raised an eyebrow at the sight, laughing in disbelief.
“Did I miss something, yesterday you two were at each other's throats, since when did this happen?”
“We did the mature thing, y’know, shared a milkshake and talked things out while we were stuck in traffic,” Vinny said, smirking as he tossed a handful of sand at Noah, who ducked just in time.
“Fuck you!” Noah laughed, retaliating by tossing sand back at Vinny.
You couldn’t help but laugh as chaos erupted between them, turning into a full blown sand fight. Ryan and Jolly, who had now woken up, yelled in protest as sand rained down on them.
"Okay, okay!" Ricky stepped in, holding up his hands. "Truce! At least let Jolly and Ryan escape!”
Both Noah and Vinny paused, exchanging grins that almost made them look like mischievous kids.
“For now,” Noah said, brushing sand off his hands.
“Yeah,” Vinny added with a smirk, “But this isn’t over, Sebastian.”
“Bring it on, Vincenzo.” Noah grinned.
You watched them walk toward the sea to wash off the sand that covered their bodies, shaking your head, still in disbelief that they were finally getting along.
“Y/n?” You were snapped back into reality as you heard Alyson’s voice, “It’s so great to see you again!”
“You too!” You smiled, your arms wrapping around each other in a hug.
“So I’ve heard… You and Noah.” She smirked, and you furrowed your brows.
“What about us?”
“Y’know, after you showed up at the party together everyone’s been putting two and two together…”
“Yeah, and they’ve come up with five. We aren’t together.”
“Oh,” she frowned, “Well… That’s a shame.”
“Y/n’s eyes are elsewhere.” Justin smirked, and the three of you watched as Noah and Vinny splashed each other in the sea. Vinny suddenly scrunched his face up, turning back to look at you before shouting out.
“Y/n! Noah’s being a prick and got water in my eyes! Can you bring me a towel?!” He yelled, and you shook your head.
“No! I can smell a trap from a mile away, Chenzo, you’re not fooling me!” You giggled, before turning back to Alyson, who had just made a realisation.
“Vinny?” Her eyes widened.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Night time soon crept up on you all, and everybody was sitting on the sand around Matt’s portable barbeque as the sun began to dip and the air began to cool.
Bryan slipped his jacket over you as you sat with your head on his shoulder, listening in on what the guys were talking about.
Across the fire, Chris was seated with a plate balanced on his knee, he rarely joined in on these more casual hangouts, often too busy or keeping to himself. But tonight, he wanted to be here, his girlfriend Lex joining you guys too.
“Alright,” Chris spoke up, drawing everyone’s attention. “Hypothetically speaking, if we were all stranded on a deserted island, who do you think would survive the longest?
“Folio!” You called out, not missing a beat, “I think he’d last pretty long, he can catch fish.”
Folio chuckled, shaking his head.
“Fair point,” he smiled, “I would’ve said Chris.”
“Me too,” Lex smiled, “With all those survival shows we watch, you’ve surely picked up some tricks.”
“But who’s going down first?” Chris asked
“Rick.” Ryan piped up, “Definitely Rick.”
“Hey!” Ricky protested, his words slightly slurred as he held up his drink. “I could totally survive. I’d befriend the animals and get them to help me build a raft out of coconuts or something.”
"I'd say Ruff," Noah laughed, "The sunburn alone would take him out."
“You’re all wrong,” Vinny chimed in, shaking his head. “It’d be Jolly. He’d get tired of our shit and wander off into the jungle to live with the animals.”
“Yeah, I’d say that's accurate.” Jolly chuckled, placing his hand on Nicole’s knee.
“What about you, y/n?” Noah asked, his voice calm but teasing. “Think you’d make it out alive?”
“Hell yeah, I’d survive just to prove all of you wrong.” You said with a grin.
“Bold claim,” Chris remarked, raising an eyebrow. “Guess we’ll have to test it someday.”
“Beach Survivor, metalcore edition?” Noah suggested, smirking.
“Oh yeah, I’d win that,” Vinny chimed in confidently.
“You wish,” Noah shot back, but there was no edge to his tone. Instead, the two exchanged grins, something you never thought you’d see. .
The conversation ebbed and flowed, the firelight flickering over everyone’s faces. You felt a sense of warmth, not just from the fire or Bryan’s jacket, but from the group. You felt like not only had you all grown close as friends this tour, but you had found family within these guys.
“Hey,” Alsyon whispered, leaning over Bryan, “Has Matt seemed a little… weird to you guys today?”
“He’s been quiet.” You admit, “Which I guess is pretty weird for him.”
“I’ve noticed that too,” said Bryan, “He’s probably not used to relaxing.” He chuckled.
It seemed as if Matt overheard the three of you, as he quickly glanced over before clearing his throat, his hands slightly shaky as he put down the spatula for the barbeque, wiping his hands on his shorts.
“Uh,” he began, clearly lost for words- something Matt was never short of, “I have something I want to say…”
He slowly approached Alyson, a nervous smile on his face. Chris leaned back, arms crossed but a small smile tugging at his lips as he seemed to catch on to what was about to happen. Bryan carefully reached behind him for his camera, everybody had a sense of what was about to come.
“Alyson…” His voice was barely above a whisper as he reached into his pocket, realising it was the wrong one and trying the other, finally retrieving a small velvet box.
Alyson’s hand flew to her mouth, her eyes instantly welling up with tears.
“No way.” You heard Nicole whisper from the other side of you, you spotted Vinny’s jaw drop, and Lex clasped her hands together in excitement.
“You’ve been my rock, my best friend, and I knew you were the love of my life the very first day I met you. I’ve known since the first time we talked I could see myself spending the rest of my life with you. You’ve kept me grounded, you’ve always told me when I’m overworking myself because…” He chuckled, dropping to one knee, “You know me better than I know myself, Aly. I can’t imagine living the rest of my life without you.”
“Who knew he was so sentimental?” You asked Bryan, trying to use humour to hold back your tears.
“...Will you marry me?”
Alyson, who was unable to talk, nodded her head. Her face covered by her hands as she attempted to hold back tears.
“Yes!” She squeaked, her voice unsteady, “Yes, you idiot!”
Cheers erupted around the circle. Nicole squealed, clapping her hands as Folio wiped at his own eyes. Ryan let out a whistle, grinning widely, while Noah leaned back with a satisfied smirk, clapping his hands together for his best friend.
Matt slid the ring onto Alyson’s finger, his own hands shaking slightly as he stood and pulled her into a tight embrace. The firelight danced across their faces, making the moment feel almost otherworldly, and Bryan made sure he captured the moment for his friend, one nobody would ever forget about.
“I'm not one for lovey dovey couples, but you two are disgustingly cute,” Chris teased, breaking the emotional tension just enough to make everyone laugh.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
“Hey,” Noah’s voice broke your focus as he sat down beside you on the sand, his shadow long in the firelight. He offered you a skewer of roasted marshmallows, the edges golden and soft. “You look like you could use something sweet... And some marshmallows.”
“Thanks,” you chuckled, taking it. Your fingers brushed his briefly, and for a moment, neither of you moved.
Noah leaned back, taking in the sight of the sea as the moon reflected off it.
“This is the kind of night that sticks with you.” He said.
You nodded, turning your head around to look back at Matt and Alyson, who were wrapped up in their own little bubble of love and laughter by the fire.
“I'm so happy for them, they're perfect for each other.”
“It’s what everyone’s chasing, I guess,” Noah said quietly. “That kind of connection. That kind of bond.”
You glanced at him, his profile softened by the moonlight. There was something wistful in his voice, like he was trying to reach for something he couldn’t quite touch. There was so much he wanted to say, to confess, but now wasn’t the time. The time would come soon, though, he was sure of it.
“It makes you wonder, doesn’t it?” he asked suddenly, turning to look at you.
Your breath caught in your throat.
“Wonder what?”
“What it’s like to have something... unshakable.” His words hung between you, heavy and vulnerable in a way that only Noah could make seem effortless, “What it’s like to have something that strong.”
You didn’t know how to respond, not when your mind immediately flickered to Vinny, and the conversation you had quite a while ago.
“When we were talking about that feeling we felt back in the hotel this weekend, do you feel that when you're with Noah?"
You thought for a moment. Sure, you felt many things when you were with Noah, some things you don't feel around Vinny, but have you ever felt that?
But then you also thought about what you and Noah had, and how after all these years you still felt this way about him. Surely that meant something too.
Oh, how you wished things were different.
“Do you believe in soulmates, Noah?” You asked, your eyes meeting his as you waited for his answer.
“I, uh… I like to think everyone has someone out there,” he nods, “I know I’ve met mine already.”
“You have…?” You swallow hard.
“Ruffilo.” He says proudly with a smile, “I know he’s my platonic soulmate. I can’t imagine my life without him, we’ve been there for each other through everything, through the depths of hell but also the happiest moments of our lives. I know some people think soulmates are a romantic thing but… I don’t believe that.”
“Noah,” you pout, “I’m glad you have him.” You say with a smile, resting your head on his shoulder.
“What about you?”
“Hm?”
“Do you believe in soulmates?”
“I don’t know.” You admit, looking out at the sea, “I’ve always believed there’s someone out there for me, maybe I’ve already met them, maybe I haven’t. Growing up I always imagined meeting them, getting married, having kids… But I don’t know if that’s what I want anymore…”
“Why not?” He asked, curiously.
“I just can’t imagine being the love of somebody’s life. Sure, I might love them, but how would I know they’re telling me the truth? How would I know I’m not being lied to?”
Noah frowned, tilting his head down to look at you, but before he had the chance to make the confession that could possibly change your life forever, Vinny appeared, dropping into the sand on your other side, holding two cups of whatever drink the guys had.
“One for you,” he said, clearly already tipsy, handing you a cup, “And one for…” He paused, eyes widening at Noah. “Wait, you don’t drink do you? I think this has alcohol in it…”
Noah shook his head, leaning back on his hands again.
“Nope, three years sober. I’m good, thanks.”
“Not a problem,” Vinny replied, he nudged your shoulder with his. “You looked like you needed a drink.”
“Is it that obvious?” You laughed.
“Little bit.” He grinned, then glanced at Noah. “What were you two talking about? Looked serious.”
Noah smiled faintly, the corners of his mouth barely twitching.
“Just… Life.” You said with a sigh.
“Ah, the existential beach talk,” Vinny said, mock-serious as he took a sip from his cup. “What was it? ‘What’s the meaning of it all?’ or ‘What’s the deal with sand?’”
You chuckled, grateful for the way Vinny diffused the weight in the air. But the moment wasn’t lost on you, the way Noah’s gaze lingered just a fraction longer before he joined in the laugh, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes.
For the first time, the tension between the two of them seemed less like a barrier and more like the faint beginnings of what could become a friendship.
A friendship you’ll come to stand between, sooner or later.
“I was just feeling a little emotional,” you confess, “Seeing how much Matt loves Alyson, I just couldn’t imagine that feeling…”
“I’m happy for them, y’know,” Vin nods towards Matt and Alyson, “I really think some people are made for each other.”
“I like to think so,” you smiled softly, “Some people are just lucky, it's sad that others don’t have it that easy… That’s why people say… Right person, wrong time.”
You glance at Vinny as the words leave your mouth, but it’s Noah who reacts first. He shifts in the sand, his gaze briefly darting to Vinny and then you before turning away, the tension palpable.
Noah clears his throat.
“Yeah… I guess. Can we stop talking about this now? All this talk about love gets sickening after a while.” Noah chuckled, but you knew there was more to it.
“Jealous?” Vinny smirked.
“Not at all.” He sighed, “It’s just… Well, maybe someday we’ll know-”
Your eyes lit up, and as you opened your mouth to begin to sing, Vinny clearly had the exact same thought as you.
“Someday we’ll know if love can move a mountain, someday we’ll know why the sky is blue, someday we’ll know why I wasn’t meant for you…” You both laughed as you sang off-key together, earning an unsure look from Noah.
“Do you two share the same brain cells?” Noah laughed.
“We’re just in sync.” Vinny smirked.
Noah shook his head, half-smiling.
“You two are something else,” he chuckles, “I’m gonna go get some water, you two want anything?”
“No, thanks.” You smiled, as Vin shook his head.
Noah tapped your thigh before getting up from the sand, wandering back over to the others.
“So…” Vinny began, “Once everyone’s gone back to the hotel… Wanna come back out here?”
“What are you suggesting?” You smirk, playing with the rings on your fingers.
“Whatever you want.” He smiled, his hand reaching for yours, “Y’know, Noah’s a great guy. I never would’ve thought he’d be chill like that.”
“Vinny, are you drunk?” You giggled, to which he shook head, finishing his drink.
“If I was drunk, you’d know about it, baby.” He winked, before getting back up, “Where is he?”
“Noah?”
“Yeah- Oh, no I found him!” He smiled, pointing at his new friend, “I’ll be right back.”
As Vinny stumbled on over to Noah, you watched from where you were sitting. He put his arm around his shoulder, even if he had to stand on his tip-toes to do so, and smiled at him.
“You wanna know something, man?” Vinny asks, to which Noah chuckles.
“What is it?”
“I fuck with your vibe type shit, man! I always thought you were so boring and uptight but… You’re not!”
“Thanks,” Noah laughed, “But that would mean a lot more to me coming from a sober Vinny!”
“There is never a sober Vin.” Ryan laughed, listening in on their conversation from across the fire.
“Mhm, just like Folio.” Noah smiled, shaking his head, before finding his way back to you.
“Everything okay?” You ask, looking up at him through your lashes.
“Never been better…” He said, taking your hands in his before whispering, “I wish I could kiss you right now.”
“Then do it.” You said, smiling up at him.
“Really?”
“Why not?” You shrugged, looking back over at the group and seeing Vin walking back to where the buses were parked.
He needed no further encouragement. He leaned down, cupping your face in his hands as his lips found yours, it was possibly the most passionate kiss you had ever had. You let your eyes fall shut, taking in the feeling of his lips against yours, the feeling of his hand as it caressed your face, the smell of his cologne and the minty taste of his lips.
You felt warm and fuzzy inside, and as he smiled against your lips before beginning to pull away, you wanted to pull him back for more, but held yourself back.
“Noah…” I’ve been lying to you for two months? I think I might be in love with you?I think I'm also in love with Vinny? Let’s get an uber to the hotel? I quit and I’m going home?
“Yeah?” He smiled softly.
“You’ve got sand in your hair.”
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
You left your hotel room after getting a text from Vin, you wondered if he was asleep as you hadn’t heard from him for hours, but finally- at 2am- he asked if you wanted to go out to the beach again with him.
The two of you sat on the sand, looking out to the sea once again. You weren’t sure what to expect when he asked if you wanted to come back with him, but it certainly wasn’t silence.
“So what were you and Noah really talking about earlier?” He asked, turning to look at you.
“Soulmates, what we want from life, if I’m loveable-”
“What?” He laughed in disbelief, “You know you are. You know Noah and I would do anything for you… Why would you think that?”
“I’ve done so much lying, Vinny.” You frown, “My point to Noah was how would I know if whoever I chose to spend the rest of my life with is being honest with me?”
I am, Vinny thought.
“I get that,” he sighed, “Y’know, when I was younger I thought I’d have it all figured out by now. I had this kinda view that as soon as you turn into an adult you’re suddenly mature and you want to get married and have kids and get a dog but I don’t know what I want.” He confesses, and you nod your head.
“Same here,” you say, “Have you ever thought about having kids?”
“Maybe one day in the future, yeah. I like the idea of it, but my job would get in the way. I know I wouldn’t cope with being away from them for too long when we're touring, I don’t know how Justin does it.”
“Hey, we’d come with you!” You say, before realising just what you had said, slapping your hand over your mouth, “I mean… I’m sure whoever-”
“I’d like that.” Vin said softly, smiling as his thumb rubbed the back of your hand.
“Vinny, I didn’t mean for that to come out like that-”
“Don’t worry, I know.” He said with a soft smile on his face, his hand resting on your thigh.
You thought for a moment. When you pictured your future, for years you could only yourself with Noah for some reason. You imagined your little family, maybe a girl and a boy, a dog, a cat, some rabbits, maybe even chickens, living out in the middle of nowhere. However, when you thought about a future with Vinny, there was nothing...? You couldn't imagine him as a father, you couldn't imagine growing old with him, but then why should you? Maybe he didn't want that either.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked, noticing your silence.
"Y'know, when tour's over, I'd love for you to meet my friends from home."
"You have other friends?" He teased, earning a smack on the shoulder.
"Of course I do!" You chuckled.
"You've never talked about them."
"I know," you sighed, "The truth is, when I told them I'd be away for three months touring with you guys, I think they were a little jealous. They haven't spoke to me in weeks now, I need to reassure them that even though I'll be away quite a lot now for work, that they're still important to me."
"Well," Vinny began, turning his head to face you, "You've got me, and all of us now, and Ang, Shae, Lex... If they can't be happy for you maybe they aren't really your friends."
"That's a good point." You say, resting your head on his shoulder. "I don't think I've ever said this to you, Vin, but I'm glad you spilled my drink over me at that party-"
Vinny cut in, unable to hold his laughter.
"You're probably the first person to ever say that."
"But it's true," you say, "Even if this all amounts to nothing, I'm glad I met you Vin. You're one of my favourite people, I'm going to miss you when this all ends."
Vinny wondered for a moment if he should ask the question, it seemed like the perfect time. When he had attempted to ask previously, he was interrupted, but this time there was nobody else about.
The worst that could happen is that you say no, so why was he nervous?
"I... uh, I was wondering if after this is all over, if you wanna m-"
"What are you guys doing out here?" Folio asks, appearing from nowhere, lighting the joint that sat between his lips.
You suddenly moved over, creating a little bit of distance between you and Vinny, not that it mattered anymore, Folio knew about the two of you anyway.
"Couldn't sleep," Vinny explains, "What about you?"
"Same." He sighs, plopping down in the sand between the both of you, "Can you believe we don't even get breakfast included at that hotel? What the hell are we paying all that money for?!"

Need Him
I stood in front of him. He was my roommate, for the last 4 months. My friend, since 10th grade. Craig was also 10 inches taller then me at 6'4" tall and much stronger then me. He held me against the wall of out kitchen. His tounge danced in my mouth. I let him hold me as I melted in his arms.
"I am going to take you" he told me in between kisses. My hands clutched his chest. He lifted me and carried me to his room.
"I am done with you teasing me all the time" Craig said biting my neck. He tossed me on the bed and tore my clothes off. His hands ran down my body. I moaned as I just shivered at what was happening next. Craig lifted my ass and spread my legs he squirted lube into my add.
"Craig I never" I mumbled.
"I know" he told me as he rubbed his now free cock against my ass. He wasted no time working it in.
"I also know you fuck yourself with all the toys you have" Craig told me. He fucked me hard and fast.
"It's so big, please" I begged. As he drove 8 inches of his thick cock balls deep into my ass. It hurt but at the same time felt amazing.
He shifted between long strokes and quick fast ones. I felt like jello as he fucked me. He didn't stop till he pumped his seed deep into my bowels. Craig got up only long enough to finally get undressed then climbed back into bed with me. He spooned me from behind. I just laid there hoping he would touch my dick. But he held me tight and fell asleep. I had dreamed about this and wanted more. I woke before Craig I got up and headed to the bathroom. I started to masterbate. Just as I did. Craig busted in and stopped me.
"No we don't do that any more sweety. He took my arm and led me to the shower. He washed me scrubbing every inch. Then applied lube to my ass again. He pushed me against the wall and drove his cock in my ass with one thrust. The water started to get cold but he didn't slow. Just stood back and let the cold water hit me full. I was shivering from the cold. As Craig again pumped his load into me. He took me to his room again. He tossed me on the bed. He stood over me his cock still semi hard. I sensed what he wanted and sat up and took him in my mouth. I had never sucked a real cock. But I so wanted this. I soon took almost all of him in my mouth as he grew harder i wasnt able to take more then a few inches. I came all over the bed as he came in my mouth. I gagged and it spewed out the corners of my mouth. I swallowed the rest then licked him clean. I found myself returning to shower to clean up. When I got out Craig was gone. I changed the sheets. I spent the day wondering about what I had done. I got hard thinking about Craig fucking me again. Before I had to go to work at the. I found myself checking out other guys, on. The bus, fellow Co workers. Just yesterday I had been fantasizing about my female co workers. And now all I could think about was getting fucked by big cocks.
I got home it was 2am. I just showered and went to bed. I was woken sun shining thru my window and Craig crawling in my bed naked.
"You didn't come to my bed last night he said pulling me tight and kissing,my neck half asleep I immediately got an erection. I felt his cock press against my ass. I was tired I had only slept a fewhours. Craig and i had very different schedules.
"Suck my cock before I have to go to work" he said softly in my ear. I groaned I hadn't liked it yesterday. But how could I say no. I rolled over and slid down taking his erect cock in my mouth. I tried to do things girls had done to me over the years. Even stopping to lick his balls. Eventually he tensed and I was rewarded with his load again. Had opened my mouth this time catching his load rather then trying to swallow. It worked and I swallowed his load after. He pulled me close but didn't kiss me on the lips instead on my forehead. Then got up and left me to go back to sleep. I started to play with myself needing to cum so I could sleep. I must of moaned or something because Craig burst in and pulled off the covers he slapped my hand.
"My bitch doesn't play with herself" he yelled. He looked so mad. I was actually afraid. He looked at my face.
"I am sorry Paulie, I just don't want you touching yourself, if you need sex come ask me" he said so softly touching my face.
"But I have to go now sweety, can you wait?" He asked I just nodded. As he turned to leave. He stopped and ran his hand over my chest.
"Have you ever thought about, you know being smooth. All this hair makes you itchy. His hand ran down over my crotch and down ,y leg as well. Before he smiled and left. I laid there for a while before falling back to sleep. I woke several hours later and took a shower. I shaved in the shower as a habit and as I did I thought about what Craig had said. I shaved the little tuff of hair just below my chin. But then did my left nipple area. I found it erotic and had to do the right side I looked dumb. I got out and checked the mirror. It looked wierd having a little bit of hair on my stomach and none on my chest I thought. I grabbed a pair of scissors. And trimmed the hair. But then trimmed my pubic region. I shaved my stomach but stopped. This was going to far.
I had time and found myself searching my phone, could someone just instantly change sexual preference. I got bored reading theory about bisexuality. And found myself on a gay porn site. After ten minutes I was into twinks. Even Sissies. It all aroused me. Which disturbed, e even more. It was time for work. On the bus ride I watched men. Especially smaller or submissive looking men. Where they wearing panties. Then other men, boxers? Briefs? I found myself wondering not only how big their cocks might be but what they wore, what color where they. After work I went home and showered thinking about Craig sleeping in the next room I shaved my puboc hair off. It felt odd but cooler as well. I crawled into Craig's bed naked. Hoping he would wake up. But he slept just hugging me subconsciously at one point. He woke me. Sun barely up. I had not been asleep long. He rubbed lube on my ass. I just laid there on my side as he moved me into the position hewanted. Then worked his big cock in my ass. I just let him fuck me. Moaning as he did. He bit and sucked my neck. His fingers pinched my nipples. I could feel him getting close but he slowed and stopped.
"I love little faggot boys, that's what you want to be isn't it" he whispered in my ear biting it ever so gently.
"I read about twinks and sissies" I moaned.
"I bet you did. That's what you want to be for me isn't it?" He said he emphasized this but shoving his cock hard and deep into my ass.
"Yeeesss" I moaned.
"Sissies shave off all their hair like Daddy says" he told me.
"I understand" I moaned as he started to fuck me again. He picked up the pace and soon was pumping his seed into my ass again. He pulled out and grabbed something from his nightstand. Suddenly he shoved something hard into my ass.
"To hold me inside you" he said and kissed me. Then got up to shower. I reached back and felt something hard. Must be a butt plug I thought as I laid there my cock straining I so wanted to touch myself.
I again found myself reading. "How to be a proper sissy" I read about chastity, and crossdressing. Did Craig want me to dress uo for him. I couldn't sleep and got up. We had a tub in that apartment but we never used it. I removed the plug it was alot smaller then it felt. Now I found myself filling it up. I got in and spent the next hour shaving my legs, ass, pits. Even my arms. I felt electric just running my hands over my body. I felt naughty as well and tested several headless pics to Craig.
"My naughty little bitch" he texted back. I curled up into his bed. The smell of him. I finally fell asleep.
When I woke I was even more excited, I wanted Craig to let me cum tonight. So I left early for work. I found myself in Walmart. I circled the storr several times. Wandering past ladies intimates. I wanted to buy something pretty. I even went on line to see about size to buy. But I couldn't even pick one up. No way I could pay for panties. I finally just pretended to be cutting through and grabbed a pair of sexy panties I had admired from far. I realized as I picked it up it was a set of three but kept walking. I tucked them under my coat and picked up windshield washer fluid. Which I paid for. And walked out stealing the panties. I didn't even own a car. I thought as I took the panties off the hanger at the far end of the parking lot and stuffed them in my pocket. And went to catch the bus to work.
I tried to focus at work till one of the waitress came in and told me there was someone asking about me at the bar. I went to see who it could be and saw Craig standing there having a drink. I approached him all cool.
"Hey man" I started. He just smiled. And grabbed me pulling me into his arms he kissed me deep and hard. I heard a gasp from the bartender. And a few ahhs from people looking on.
"I just couldn't wait to see you" Craig said as he released me head swimming and despite being throughly embarrassed I was rock hard for him. I only had a moment.
"Craig" I wined embarrassed looking around at who else saw. But he pulled my collar a bit and smiled. I excused myself and rushed to the bathroom. I tried to lose my erection but also noticed the deep hickys he had left on my neck this morning. I got lots of smiles and a round of applause as I went back to the kitchen the news had spread quickly. And I became the reason for jokes for the evening.
After work I usually caught the last bus home but I found Craig waiting for me in his warm car. I had the gallon washer fluid.
"What's that?" He asked. I blushed. And told him the story as he drove.
"I can't wait to see them" he said like a little kid on Christmas. When we got home I showered like usual to get rid of the restaurant smells and picked out the pink panties I had been looking at for the first time I realized it was a thong. I put it on and found Craig in bed waiting. I was embarrassed to show him at first but he insisted. He then pulled me into his bed.
"Craig you have to go to work and tell them it was all some kind of prank" I begged.
"No, you are mine now" he told me. Wasting no time shoving his cock in me. I had already started to be accustomed to him. He kept switching positions. I was his play thing. Eventually I found myself riding him cowgirl style. As I did I loved it something grew in me. Different then the first time but I came. All over him. I couldn't stop I just kept sliding him in and out slowly as my dick leaked not shooting but oozed out of me. I collapsed on him. He rolled me over and quickly finished inside of me. I laid there thinking he smelled so good.
I woke up the sun already high in the sky, I hears Craig he was home.
He was home moving my stuff. Into his room. But somethings he packed for storage.
"Good you are up, we are going shopping" he told me. He waited till oil got dressed then rushed me out. First stop was a lingerie store. I was beet red when he walked me in introduced us and told the two sales woman that I had just discovered panties and needed more.
The giggled mostly at my discomfort as they ushed me away and had my boyfriend go wait outside. They asked me about colors and styles. They explained everything to me.
"How about bralettes?" Gina asked.
"A what?" I said as Gina handed me a lacy tee-shirt bra thing. Amy suggested stockings, nightgowns, corsets, I wasoverwhelmed.
"I dont know this all very expensive" I told them. Amy left and came back a few minutes later.
"Craig says you can have it all" she held up his credit card. I left with two huge bags of lingerie. Craig just smiled. And led me straight into a perfume store. He had already chosen several different ones he liked. I picked one and he sprayed it one me and bought the bottle. He wasn't done.
"I made you an appointment at a salon. I really like it if you went" he said. I couldn't say no. As I sat in the chair the girl, Amber went over everything. Craig had asked for.
"So a Mano, pedi also blonde highlights. And eyebrow wax" she asked. I swallowed hard and nodded. First the hair. It took forever I thought as my hair was wrapped in wierd foils. Then they did my nails as we waited. They didn't even ask as they painted my toes and fingers pink. They had added fake nails as well. As they shaped my eyebrows I realized I didn't even look like a man. When they rinsed out my hair. I was terrified, I looked like some crossdressing freak. But Craig loved it and kissed me picking me up he spun me around.
"I hope you like what I am wearing under my clothes right now" I teased as he drove home. He smiled and drove faster.
"Dance for me" he asked as we got home. He wanted me to strip. He turned on music and I tried i felt silly. But as I got down to my new red. Lace thong and bralette He was excited. I dropped and pulled his cock out. I sucked his cock right there in the living room.
Craig made alot of changes over the next few weeks, including having me quit my job. The more comfortable I became with how I loomed the more he added. Soon I wore nothing but skirts and dresses. Occasionally some tight fitting jeans. And yoga pants to the gym. Within two months I was living completely as a woman.
Craig paid for everything. I found out he owned the building we lived in. The day after we meet with a doctor about starting hormones. He flew me home to ask my parents if he could marry me.
My parents where are a bit of a shock but loved Craig and by the time the week was over gave their blessing. Mom even suggested breast implants before the wedding. Craig loved the idea.
well I have to go plan a wedding. Love ya all

Weakened by Eywa Pt. 6
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6
Masterlist
Summary: Ao'nung finally realizes that his actions have consequences
Warnings: curse words, bullying, mental breakdown, English isn't my first language
Author's note: guys I was literally dying from the high temperature this night, bu I got so inspired that I wrote the last chapter! I tried to share with you their feelings, how they act and everything. I hope you will like it🫶🏻
Txe’lan - heart
Tumblr media
“Ao’nung! Where’s Ao’nung?” You were running around the village, looking for him. You talked to Neteyam yesterday and he said that you need to confess your feelings despite the fact that he’s not really satisfied by her choice. He supported you. You’d been thinking about it almost all day and now you finally found the courage to do that.
“Why are you screaming?” Roxto noticed you, he came closer to you.
“Do you know where’s Ao’nung? I can’t find him.” You were anxious and excited at the same time.
“I think he went swimming. Last time I saw him, he was going to swim somewhere, but I’m not sure. It’s that way.” Roxto pointed in direction of that stone where you were together last time.
“Okay, thanks!” You didn’t want to loose time and ran to Ao’nung. You pray to Eywa he’ll be there by the time you’ll come.
Your way there didn’t take a lot since you used ilu for this. You could see Ao’nung’s figure sitting on the stone and looking at the sunset. Just like yesterday. His aquamarine eyes shining under the gold sunlight.
“Ao’nung!”
His thoughts were interrupted by your voice. At first he thought it was his imagination, but you called him second time. He tuned his head to you.
“Y/N? What are you doing here? Something happened?” He stood up, helping you to climb up and examining you. The first thought he had was that something bad happened to you. You looked really nervous.
“No, I just…” your breath was out of control, you needed some time to calm down. “I was looking for you, Ao’nung.”
His eyes widened, he felt something is coming. You were about to talk about that kiss and your feelings. And to be honest, Ao’nung was scared to death to hear your answer. He knew that his actions were too emotional and he didn’t think about consequences.
“Why?” He whispered, looking straight into your eyes.
“I wanted to tell you something.” You gently took his hands in yours.
Here we go.
His end.
“If you want to tell that you don’t want me to come close to you or something like that, please just go. I can’t bear these words.” He almost bagged you, slightly squeezing your hands.
”Do you have feelings to me?” Your heartbeat raised and you looked at him.
“I love you, Y/N.” His voice was so soft, it melted your heart.
“Because, I think… I don’t love you.”
That’s it.
His head and ears dropped, hands almost let go yours. Ao’nung could say that his heart stopped beating the moment you said these words.
“I don’t love you, but I definitely have feelings for you.” You just breathed life into him. You saved his heart and gave it hope. “I don’t know how it turned out after our past, but I think I have feelings for you. It’s not a strong one as love, but maybe…” you were too shy to tell this, avoiding his attentive gaze. “Maybe it’ll get stronger if I get to know you better.” By the end of this sentence, your voice almost tailed away. You were so afraid to look at Ao’nung and kept examining your fingers and ground, until his finder touched your chin and lifted your head.
“I will do anything to grow this feeling in your heart, Y/N. Just give me a chance, I won’t disappoint you. Not anymore.”
“I trust you my heart. Please, don’t hurt it.”
You were scared about unknown things that are going to happen between you and Ao’nung. You have no idea if your relationships will work. But you feel that you have to trust him. You have to give both of you this chance.
He looked you in the eye carefully. Trying to find answers for million questions in your amber eyes. His hands gently holding your face, thumb softly rubbing your cheek.
“I won’t, ma txe’lan. If I hurt you, I would suffer myself. I understood it the hard way.”
All you could do is nod, because tears were dripping down. This moment felt so special and intimate, you wished it never ended. Ao’nung leaned slightly towards your face, covering you with his breath.
“May I do the first step?”
“Yes.” You whispered, trying to remember every detail of this moment.
He slowly approached to you and you closed your eyes. At the same second you could feel his warm lips on yours. Butterflies in your stomach woke up. His lips softly crushed yours, Ao’nung didn’t want to put pressure on you and tried to be gentle as you’re the most fragile flower he’d ever seen.
When both of you were out of breath, you leaned your foreheads against each other. Bright smiles lighted you faced. You shared you breathes. Your hearts beat in unison.
And even if you don’t have strong love to him, everything is obvious.
You’re connected.
Forever.
“I see you”

Yello
I just found your fic series yesterday and I have been seriously enjoying it. I mean, not the psychological trauma part, but just how well written it is. I love how your mind works.
But no spoilers! I read Miner's eulogy, but I've only gotten to chapter 7 of Clipped Wings.
Anyway, I came here to say that since this is definitely before the movie and will definitely affect how the timeline of the show coincides with everything, I've come to see just how much of the movie actually does intertwine with the story, and how it affects how I view some of the scenes now.
Of course, I have no idea when he's gonna get better enough to where he's gonna be fighting alongside them on missions again. And the ark with Shredder and the Krang is definitely coming soon in the timeline of their lives right now. Buuuut, I do expect for us to maybe have some "just cause" because there is no way that they're gonna be leaving the lair anytime soon unless for just for getting stuff for Donnie. I mean, do we really think they're worried about the FOOT CLAN right now? We can act like all that is many months or many years from now because Donnie is definitely not gonna be okay by then.
So, anyway, whenever any of that ends up happening in this world, I like to think about the Krang bus and Technodrome scenes from the movie. In both instances, Donnie loses his battle shell. He protects Mikey with it and has to lose it to be able to control the ship with his bare back. Which, like, ow? Seeing the movie through the eyes of this story, there are definitely a lot of places that just would not exist because of the condition of Donnie. But god.
The extra worry that Mikey has about Donnie's shell? The protectiveness? The question of "are you sure?" before he takes it off?
The part where him and Mikey are trapped in the Turtle Tank? The utter terror on Donnie's face, in the fetal position, the fear of being crushed and suffocated, just like in the closet...
When Raph comes out of that cocoon swinging at Leo? The same way he did at Donnie? Donnie having to his big brother in that state again, with pure rage in his eyes? Rage at his family? Raph not being in control of himself? DOING EXACTLY WHAT HE DID TO DONNIE TO LEO???
MY GOD
There's probably many other parallels and little things that I haven't thought of yet, but that's what first comes to me. I don't know if you already realized the things and even wrote some things based off of the information we have from the movie. Anyway, I just wanted to vent that out. This au has me in a chokehold. Kudos ❤️
THE MOVIEEEEEE YEAHHHH there's been a bunch of talk about how the movie would go in CC since i have no plans to cover it, but hrhghhh i could really see some of those scenes recontextualized by what donnie goes through here. although personally i think raph being kraangified would hit him a lot harder than it would donnie, who wouldn't have the same kind of proximity to it. because raph has a lot of trauma from what he ended up doing to donnie, and doing it to ANOTHER one of his little brothers would SERIOUSLY mess him up. some people have asked if the choking in particular was an intentional parallel and my answer is actually nope, it was just an extension of the whole uhhh canary/breath metaphor, that and all the damage to his chest (even when raph let go he couldn't breathe!!!). but it would hit a lot harder with the movie's events in mind, its the second time raph would do that to one of his brothers!! oh my god he would be so fucking guilty!!!!!!! man...
someone hassss written their interpretation of a part of it, with the idea that donnie's the one to jump into the prison dimension because it works better than leo arc-wise >:3 (hi seasidefantasies im plugging your fic again. still insane about it) you dont have to be caught up to CW in order to read it, it doesnt contain any major spoilers!!! oooh you wanna read it so bad oooooh (hypnotizing you)
honestly since CW is planned to end on new years 2022 i kind of see everything in BN:NY and forward just being pushed back quite a while, not for any huge canon reasons it just makes more sense logically. since everything around the S2 finale/with the shredder just kinda HAPPENS to them, i could see BN:NY happening at pretty much any point they're all out of the lair together lmao, and once some stuff works out i dont think donnie will want to stay cooped up forever, he's gonna be kind of desperate to be "normal" for the sake of making his family feel better even to his own detriment i feel. i cant say anything too big about the changes because there's some stuff with ninpo that hasnt been revealed in the story, but ultimately i dont think it'd be all that different!! the destruction of the lair would be more cathartic than anything else at least lmao

life update (tw assumed almost kidnapping, possible stalking, etc)
I should really be forcing myself to go on temporary hiatus but this is really my only safe space. i’ve been treated very roughly recently, and what happened yesterday just added. don’t worry about me leaving you all, i’m not taking a temporary hiatus
so i’m honestly just gonna start off with a message. Men, women, minors, anyone: please be vigilant of your surroundings. No matter where you are, densely populated places or scarcely populated places, day or night, be vigilant.
My car is currently in a different state, being lent to a family member (which has been going on for about a month), meaning i have to take public transport to and from college since i’m not doing dorms. Where the bus stops is just a short walk from my house, probably only 5 or 6 houses down, 5 to 10 minute walk.
Just for anyone who’ll have questions about why I wasn’t able to defend myself, Massachusetts colleges prohibits carrying firearms or concealed weapons, meaning i’m not able to take my pocket knife or any form of defense i have. The only exception is for law enforcement officers who are authorized to carry weapons. There is also no way in hell i’m leaving any sort of defense on public transport until I come back at the end of the day.
A few weeks back, I had seen an inferno orange-reddish toyota truck slowing down near me. driving it, was an older man. I didn’t think much of it at the time, chalking up to pure coincidence or misunderstanding. maybe i was someone he thought he knew? maybe he had to take a turn? i live in a scarcely populated area, only about 4,000 people live here. probably someone one of my parents knew.
Earlier yesterday, my final class ended around 2. I got off the public transport at 2:30-2:40 and started walking. I had one airpod in my ear, still semi-vigilant of my surroundings. everything was fine. Until i saw this truck again. Okay, it was slowing down, same as last time. Except the man was staring me down this time. And pulled over on the opposite side of the road. I stop, turn around to face the truck to let him know i was aware of what was happening. Shakily, i pull out my phone, pretending to take a video. The man sits in his car for a bit as i walk backward, still holding my phone out. I was too scared to even take a real video or a photo of the plates. He half-pulled out onto the road, looking like he was going to turn onto my side. Instead, he pulled away, most likely when he saw I had a phone. I had called my boyfriend when he had slowed down, just to have someone on the phone.
With all that being said, when the man drove away, I ran up the hill, back to my house. Out of fear, and not wanting to call anyone else, I call my stepfather, anything i was saying was barely audible. He told me to calm down, asked me if i was okay, and asked what happened. I told him what had happened, to which he had asked if I had the plates. I told him no. He said that was okay, talked to me a bit more, and told me to call the police. I called my local station, talked to someone, and I could tell they weren’t just brushing it off as a woman being crazy or attention seeking. They told me they understood I was afraid, but there wasn’t much they could do without the plates. I told them that was okay, and if i saw it again, i’d take photos.
I’ve been extremely shaken all night and this morning. My stepfather put in to get out of work early for the next however long to come pick me up from the stop, which I am so grateful for. But it got me thinking, what would’ve happened if the guy got ballsy enough to get out of his truck? what would’ve happened if he took me? And I have nothing to defend myself with except punches, kicks and bites, which of a 5’3, 98lbs college girl, there’s not much force behind those.
I always want to keep you guys updated in my life, because I feel transparency is important with people you care about. I apologize for how long winded this was, and if you made it this far, thank you.

"Best friends, or more?"
Part 1.
An Akaashi Keiji fanfiction(Haikyuu).
Tumblr media
"Hey, are you okay? Hello?"
A voice called out to me. My eyes fluttered open as I looked up to see a guy with bright blue eyes looking down at me with a concerned look on his face.
"Huh? What?" I say, in a delirious manner.
"Uhm, are you alright?"
I blinked slowly, realising I fell asleep in the middle of a park. For hours.
"Yes, I'm-" I laugh at the ridiculous situation. "Yeah I'm alright. Thank you for waking me!"
"You really shouldn't fall asleep outside like this."
"Yes, I was just looking at the new neighborhood and taking a walk around the area when I swear I sat down for just a second! Then I fell asleep." I rambled, trying not to appear crazy.
"Oh well, okay, I'm gonna go." The guy said and walked away leaving me feeling very embarrassed.
'Well, atleast I'm never gonna have to see him again.' I think.
Tumblr media
"Sweetheart, don't forget your lunch!" My mother says as I stuff a piece of bread in my mouth and rush out the door. Can't believe I'm late for my first day for school. As if moving to a new school wasn't dreadful enough, I can't also be late.
"Yes mum! Bye!"
I run to the bus stop to see the bus leaving right as another guy wearing the same uniform as me gets on the bus.
"No! Wait!" I yell at the bus to no avail.
Huffing and puffing, I reach the classroom, all sweaty and disheveled and very late.
Seeing the last available seat on the first desk near the window, I reluctantly sit there.
"Akaashi? Akaashi Keiji?" The teacher called as she entered the classroom.
"Yes ma'am." A reply came from the bench behind me.
"You are the student with the best grades so you will be the class monitor this year." The teacher smiled at the guy named 'Akaashi'.
"Okay ma'am."
I turned around to see his face having no indication of any emotion. A true disciplined student I guess.
That's when I noticed his piercing blue eyes. And the same wavy messy dark hair from yesterday.
I immediately flipped forward, not giving him time to glance at me and remember our disastrous meeting.
Great, now I have to avoid him all year.
Tumblr media
"Oh, it's you. From the park."
The first thing I hear when I am outside the gymnasium is this.
I glance up to see the same guy.
I laugh awkwardly. "Yeah, it's me!"
"Hello, I'm Akaashi, nice to see you again." He said warmly. Something I didn't expect.
"Haha, I'm Y/n. Y/n l/n. And nice to see you too. Thanks for saving me yesterday."
He chuckled, a dimple forming in his right cheek, "I hardly think I 'saved' you but do be careful."
I nod in response.
"Did you just join the school?"
"Yes I did and I moved here recently so Fukurodani was a good school choice." I ramble on again.
"Are you here to apply for the manager position?" He said, finally opening the gym doors to walk us to the coach and the other managers.
"Yeah. I heard joining a club was compulsory. And this was the only spot available."
"The reason we need a third manager is because the team is way too rowdy."
"Oh, really-" I say as I get interrupted by an incredibly loud guy.
"AGAASHI WHO IS THAT GIRL?? YOUR GIRLFRIEND??"
I don't know why but I felt a little flutter in my heart hearing this.
'Why does this spiky white haired dude sound lowkey jealous?' I think to myself.
"No, Bokuto, she's here to apply for the manager position."
He turned to me as Bokuto nodded and leapt away, spiking volleyballs before practice even began.
"And that's our captain."
My eyes widened. I turned to him in disbelief, "Really?"
"I know, l/n, I know." He sighed.
Tumblr media
Training to be a manager was pretty easy. Filling up water bottles, bringing fresh towels and keeping track of scores. That's it.
"BUT L/N HE'S THE ONE WHO THREW A BALL AT MY HEAD!" Konoha said, fuming in anger.
Oh god.
"I DID NOT. HE'S LYING L/N I SWEAR."
Bokuto says as he chases after Konoha who makes his escape.
Okay maybe this is not that easy. But it's fun.
After practice ended, I ran towards Akaashi. We recently found out we live right next to each other so we have been walking to and from school. He's been helping me leave on time in the morning.
"Hey Akaashi, all done?" I ask him, a giddy feeling spreading over me. I really looked forward to these times that we could just talk and stroll casually.
He put the last of his uniform into his bag.
"Yes, l/n I'm done." He said, a soft smile spreading over his face.
We walk in a comfortable silence when Akaashi says, "It's great that we got partnered together on that project. I was afraid it'd be someone I didn't usually talk to."
I smiled at that, happy to have found a friend like him.
I say something I thought I'd never say, "Do you wanna come over later to work on it?"
This caught him off guard. We have become a lot closer the past few weeks but I wondered if it was too early to ask him to come over.
"Actually l/n, I'd love that. But you should come over to my house instead. My mom was asking to meet my 'new friend' I was talking about."
He was talking about me? To his mother? I wonder why.
"Okay, yeah, let's do that!"

Hello! I have finally stopped crying about Friday night long enough to come tell you guys about it! Also kind of a face reveal I guess? I wasn't planning on posting pictures of myself ever on Tumblr but, um, I met some of Powerwolf, so I'm telling literally everyone who will listen about it. If you'd like to read all about the most amazing night of my life it's below the cut cause my god am I going to ramble and there's going to be a lot of pictures. Posting Update coming later now that I can finally get back to work ❤️
*cracks knuckles* now, I had to take the full day yesterday to literally sit on my floor with my friends to recount that night in as much detail as possible. Every thing I tell you has been fact checked and reviewed by 3 other people lol. I literally can't even believe the night I had, I still think I'm dreaming tbh.
So, as you may or may not know, Powerwolf is literally my favorite band ever. I missed their first US tour so I was determined to get my ass to this show and have the greatest time, also I'm not going to turn down a chance to see Falk Maria Schlegel in person, it ain't gunna happen chief. I got tickets for my friends and I, we made a whole day of it, we got our nails done and met up the morning of and had breakfast and did face masks and all got ready together, it was wonderful, I'm so glad we made the decision to do that because of my god my NERVES that morning. We ended up getting to the venue around 3, which meant we had to stand in line for 4 hours but it was definitely worth the sacrifice. We were about 10 people from the front by the time we lined up. When we got there, none other than Roel VanHelden was hanging out around their tour bus, taking pictures and just talking with a small group of people. He was so nice when we went down to meet him, my friends and I were all dressed up for the occasion and he looked at us and went "wow, you all look incredible!" I think my soul left my body. I told him he was my favorite drummer ever and I'm so excited to finally be able to see him live and he looked so genuinely flattered. I got a picture with him that's at the bottom.
A little while later I look down the sidewalk and happen to notice Charles doing the same thing. He was also super sweet and super funny. I, for some reason, was so much more nervous meeting him than I was meeting Roel so I just kind of ran up said hi took my picture said thank you and ran away, but he was very sweet when he was talking with my friends. ALSO HES SO DAMN HANDSOME WITH HIS GLASSES ON I AM SUCH A CHARLES GIRL AFTER FRIDAY NOW BUT WELL GET MORE INTO WHY LATER!!! Sorry lost my cool, picture with him is also below
We get inside, we get all the way up to the left side of the stage at the barrier, I'm directly in front of Falk and Matthew the entire concert. Unleash The Archers was incredible, I unfortunately only know their song Soulbound, but they're amazing if you're into women fronted power metal bands, I highly recommend them. The entirety of the concert itself was incredible, everyone is so talented and it was so amazing, just for the music I would go back again and again.
But, my god, do those men LOVE interacting with the crowd. I'm gunna go member by member, we made a bullet list lol. We ended up getting notices by every single member of Powerwolf multiple times, like I seriously still can't believe it, it doesn't feel real, but it happened and I have 3 other people telling me it happened so I guess I have to trust them lol.
Roel we unfortunately didn't get to see much obviously because he's at his kit, but after the show was over he came over and gave my friend a drum cover that was signed by the entire band, we have agreed that one day a month I come over we pull it out (until it gets framed), smoke a bowl, and just look at it for a little while together because that's how we're going to share joint custody of it lol. Seeing him play live was also just unreal.
Attila carries such a presence on stage it's actually fucking insane. How easily that man can command an entire room is scary. I don't know if I have the video, I might have to get it from someone else still. But there was one point we were singing along with Attila and he came over and sang directly to my friend and I and reached out for us and we both screamed. He acknowledged us a couple other times throughout the show.
We were on the opposite side of the stage from Charles but him and Matthew switch sides pretty much during every song so he was over pretty frequently. The first time he came over he immediately recognized my little group, he pointed right at me and smiled, I personally think he noticed how I loosened up a lot since almost passing out earlier lol. But he would be constantly coming over and singing along with us, there was also one point I noticed he accidentally bumped into Attila and he just looked at him and blew him a kiss and it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. CHARLES ALSO THREW ME ONE OF HIS ARM BANDS!!!! When he came over after final bows, he threw a couple pics, I missed literally all of them because I have zero depth perception and despite the fact I was wearing 5" platforms I was still stupidly short lol, he noticed proceeds to pull off one of the ones he had on, came right to the edge of the stage and tossed it to me and he got so smiley when I screamed back thank you, he has such a nice smile omfg it's not fair. But he was incredible.
We were right in front of Matthew, we definitely spent the most time with him, he was also in love with us. They played Sinners of The Seven Seas, which is a personal favorite song of mine, so I was absolutely losing my shit, screaming every word, and after they finished each song he would acknowledge the whole crowd and give thumbs up and all that, and then he looks at me, I shit you not my knees almost have out from just now direct this eye contact was the first time, he goes "wow" and gives me a thumbs up and a really impressed look, so of course I got all flustered which made him laugh. He would acknowledge me after pretty much every song, doing kind of the same thing, motioning to the whole crowd and then motioning directly to me, it became a joke, we would both laugh whenever he did it. At one point I made a heart at him and he got the brightest smile and also seemed so genuinely flattered, they all did, every one of them just seemed so touched and happy that all of us loved them so much it was super sweet. But, anyways, back to Matthew. He sang along with us a lot too and was just genuinely so fun to watch, he's such a talented guitarist, I got to see him play the most. He also threw me a guitar pick, I gave it to one of my other friends that came since she didn't catch anything.
Falk Maria Schlegel... I was so insane about this man BEFORE this concert... I am simply unwell about him now. This, to me, is by far the most unbelievable part of my night because I'm literally in love with him. He's kind of similar to Roel where it's hard to get his attention cause he's also mostly up on the back stage, so he didn't really start to come down to the stage until near the end of the show anyways. But he came down at one point and that man held eye contact with me for a good 30 seconds while Attila was making his speech, I thought my heart stopped, how are his eyes even prettier in person? He's just so fun and so cute, I love watching him interact with the crowd. He came over to my side of the stage after the first encore, Attila was giving a speech about how we're all one big heavy metal family and it was very nice. I had to go over this with my friends about 9 times, I still think they're lying to me and I hallucinated the whole thing. Falk motions to the whole crowd and says I love you, then turns looks directly at me, motions to me specifically and says I love you. I blacked out for about 30 seconds I think, my heart was restarted by the last song starting (I fucking love werewolves of Armenia) they were doing final bows and Falk came back over to my side of the stage, he looked at me so I blew him a kiss and made a heart and he went, "oh! Thank you!" Motioned to me and then held his hands over his chest and he looked so happy, they all looked so happy, I hope they come back soon I already miss them. I plan on being right back up in front next time, who knows, maybe they'll even remember me lol
We're also going to be in their city recap video, and Jen Dorn (Attila's wife) took a bunch of pictures and posted a video of us on her Instagram and we got to meet her too, she was also very sweet and very pretty!!
Okay have some pictures of the greatest night of my life, some of them aren't cropped right, that's my bad lol

Poetry On Perspective
Tumblr media
Eddie x EnglishMajor!reader
This is just something I wrote after consuming too much poetry (I tried okay?)
I think Eddie would like Bukowski.
Warnings and notes: she/her pronouns, some swearing, not proofread, not much of an ending, kind of open ended (might do another part, idk)
I hope y’all like it :)
<3•<3•<3•<3•<3•
“I’ve read bukowski,” she starts, up on the stage with her hair swept up behind her head, her bangs tickling her eyelashes as her eyes look downward to focus on the words she had previously written on the page, “and I’ve seen what Dickinson had to say. Two thoroughly different viewpoints, differing outlooks on love. With no more in agreement than that it exists. A man who talks of lovers and sparrows, and the whores and the pigeons. And a girl who speaks of death and men, and her garden and love.”
Jeff’s face was screwed up and gareth was shaking his head.
Eddie had read bukowski.
Eddie had referenced bukowski.
Hidden in the folds of a guitar riff and rock ballad were the stanzas to The Twins.
“Bukowski is an empty bar and a calloused hand and Dickinson is a robin at a bird bath and a carriage ride with an old friend. Perspective is a mistress who never appears the same for more than a month. She changes as the wind does, ebbs and flows depending on her mood.”
Eddie didn’t understand the entire point of the girl’s rambling.
Then again he wasn’t meant to be here. He was supposed to be an hour away in a hotel with a cigarette. Maybe a joint.
A flat tire had landed him on the side of the road, band members and equipment in tow. A bus of college students drove them into town, grant found a phone and called someone to help get the van but until they got it into town the guys were here.
They had watched the students go up one by one and read off nonsensical passages in their journals.
Eddie hadn’t been paying attention until the pretty girl came up on stage. Her sweaters hem a few inches above that of her skirt and her black nail polish chipped as she avoided the gaze of the crowd and flipped through her notebooks pages.
Her notebook was covered in doodles of different flowers and fish and post-it notes bloomed from the top of the thing until about halfway through where the pages were pristine and likely unused.
What had mainly caught his attention were the tattoos on her legs. Different patches of sharks and flowers adorned her skin. One in particular went from just above her knee and crept around the back of her thigh and up into her skirt.
He wanted to see what the rest of it looked like, what images the upper expanse of her thighs might be hiding and did her arms match?
“Perspective changes when she pleases. One day she can be the same as ever, grass is grass and flowers bloom and babies laugh, and the next maybe the grass weeds and flowers wilt and babies wail and fuss. A year is a week, a day is a decade. Your grandparents got married yesterday and you broke up with your ex a lifetime ago. Grass is grass, it’s meant to hold the dirt together, grass is weeds meant to invade your fathers yard so you never stop hearing about them. Babies laugh and babies cry but you don’t have to worry about that because you’re single and might die alone so you might never have babies. Your boyfriend was your everything and now your ex is the reason you smoke. Etc.”
She ends her rambling and closes her journal, looking to the rest of the small bar for critiques and hopefully some encouragement.
“It could use some clarity.” A boisterous voice pipes up and Eddie scans the crowd for the perpetrator.
A guy with thick rimmed glasses and patchy stubble stares up at her, his face the picture of audacity.
“I thought her point was perfectly clear.” Eddie shrugs and the guy looks over at Eddie before sighing.
“Her transitions weren’t clear, her sentences could be more concise. Her rambling could be poetry if it were only a bit more clear.” The guy offers.
“Or you could argue that adopting the style of bukowski and melding it with the imagery Dickinson was prone to using.” Eddie argues and the guy pauses thoughtfully, his lips pressing into a thin line as he pulls together his thoughts.
Gareth and Jeff exchange a look of confusion at Eddie's knowledge of poetry and literature while Grant seems to be enthralled with the argument between the two boys.
“That’s a good take. I just mean that the initial examples of Dickinson and Bukowski could be better transitioned into her next points about perspective.”
Eddie nods, “I could see why you would make that argument but I kinda like the rambling. She’s writing how she thinks. Thoughts don’t always transition seamlessly, I think it’s pretty cool to just hear someone’s thoughts on a subject and I like that she gets you to think about it yourself.”
“I guess that’s just perspective for you.” The guy shrugs and Eddie grins, silently agreeing with him.
Eddie turns his attention to the girl in front of the class, “the personal touches were nice. Your writing was relatable. My uncle is probably outside our house fighting with the weeds right now.”
The girl smiles, “thank you, Eddie.”
Eddies eyebrows raise at his name. He didn’t know how she knew it but fuck did it sound nice when she said it. She smiled and stared at him through her bangs, pulling her notebook to her chest to discreetly reveal the doodle of corroded coffins' first album cover.
She stands up and goes back to her seat. The next person comes up but Eddie isn’t paying any attention to whatever they have to say.
He’s too stuck on her. Too obsessed with never letting his eyes leave her to even consider whatever the fuck the asshole on stage has to say.
He wants to try and talk tk her after all of the readings are through but as the students file onto the bus grant blocks his view of her, letting him and the guys know that the van is in the shop at the moment getting the tire changed and they should able to get back on the road in an hour or two.
By the time Eddie looks up from grant the bus doors are closing the girl is gone.

day five
Something about the check-in at the hotel in Manchester was fishy and had caused a ridiculous amount of chaos that needed to be sorted out by the tour managers. I made the best of the situation and got comfortable in the lobby with my laptop, determined to get some work done ahead of time. Lia was going to be here in just a few hours and I'd promised her to free my schedule as much as possible.
Plus, I knew we would be drinking, so the ride to Glasgow tomorrow was going to be spent regretting my hangover and lying in my bunk, not doing hours of work.
The only strange thing about the day so far was that I had seen neither Oli nor Noah. Noah’s absence was to be expected to a certain extent; he was in a different band, on a different bus, with slightly deviating schedules, so the chances of running into each other could be quite low. I hadn't gotten a message from him either though. At least rumour had been going around that he woke up as good as new this morning, whatever had been beating him down yesterday had vanished completely. Oli was more surprising considering he was consistently put into an adjacent hotel room, travelled in the same tour bus and technically employed me.
Funnily enough, the question about the two missing frontmen was answered sooner than the check-in chaos got resolved. I heard the two of them entering the lobby together before I saw them. Pushing each other away, both seemed eager to get to me first as soon as they spotted me, stealing a bag from each other's hands over and over again.
“Fucking stop, I’m the one who knew to get this for her,” Oli complained, trying to keep the paper bag out of Noah’s reach, who was quicker than him and caught it behind Oli’s back.
“Yeah, and I’m the one who’s gonna give it to her!”
“Give it back, you wanker!”
Their fight came to an abrupt end as they stood in front of me looking up at them over my laptop.
“I got you something,” Oli explained, motioning to the bag.
“We got you something,” Noah corrected.
“Just because you walked next to me, doesn’t mean you had anything to do with it!”
I felt another bout of their little spat coming on, so I quickly intervened and stole the bag from Noah’s hands. Both of them quieted down immediately, watching me as I opened it up. The sweet scent of pastries filled my nostrils immediately.
“Are these…?” I didn’t finish my question as I brought the baked good to my nose, inhaling it deeply once again before taking a hearty bite ouf of its flakey goodness. I didn't know how Oli new. I couldn't remember if I'd ever told him and if I had, I was sure it was in passing only. The fact that he not only was aware of my sweet tooth but also went out of his way to satisfy it with my favourite goods caused my stomach to flip. “Thank you so much, that’s so sweet.”
“From your favourite bakery,” Oli proudly agreed. “You said you weren’t in Manchester that often and- well, I thought after yesterday-”
“Wait, what happened yesterday?”
Suddenly, Noah was all ears. I was much too preoccupied with the best thing I’d tasted in months to think about how to explain. Oli had mentioned it, Oli could solve the situation.
“Aubrey was in a right mood last night,” Oli said with grin. “A little brat.”
I almost choked on my pastry, a few flakes flying away from me as I got my breathing back under control. I shouldn’t have been so surprised. Oli was hardly known for being a prude about these things.
“And I went to sleep instead,” Noah groaned, sounding genuinely remorseful. Our eyes met for a moment. Somehow, I knew we were both remembering last night, too, me bringing him back to the hotel room, him warning me off. He looked away first, as if a little embarrassed. I wasn’t sure what to do with it.
“I’m sure you’ll find out for yourself soon enough,” it burst out of me. But I’d already learned that the combination of us three left very little room to hold back in that aspect.
Oli leaned down to me, his thumb wiping at the corner of my mouth where some chocolate had seemingly gotten stuck. He tapped my lips. It was enough for me to dumbly open my mouth and suck it in, twirling my tongue around it to get another taste. He chuckled darkly, satisfied how easily I went along with him, before pulling away, finding another bit of chocolate to swipe away, this time offering his thumb to Noah.
He was torn. Quite visibly so. The tension hung in the air as he tried to decide on which move to make now, all three of us basically holding our breaths to see what would transpire.
Then, some loud laughter from the crew erupted somewhere else in the lobby, loud enough to pull him out of it. He actually shook his head, as if that could make the thoughts disappear.
“Fuck you, Oli,” he muttered, without much force behind it.
“Yeah,” Oli laughed, licking the chocolate of his thumb himself, “I bet you’d like to.”
•••
Whoever said that time flies when you’re having fun had never felt time slipping through your fingers when you were desperately trying to get your boss to get to all things in his agenda on time while he was being an absolute arse for no reason but to amuse himself. On top of that, your best friend was blowing up your phone in excitement of getting to see you, effectively starting a countdown that only served to distract you from the work you should be doing.
By seven o’clock, I was thoroughly exhausted and annoyed. At some point, Noah had even pulled me aside to give me a much needed hug, although it had been cut short by Lia announcing her imminent arrival. Luckily, Lia did what she did best and that was raise my mood impossibly the very second I saw her.
Her arms around me felt like home. She was the only anchor I felt I still had, while I was always trying to never get too settled in one place with my work taking me all over, but we’d been friends since childhood and she’d always refused to budge. I didn’t thank her for it enough.
“Okay, catch me up asap, what’s been happening, what’s been going down, have you managed to bang anyone yet?”
I shot an apologetic smile at the two stagehands walking past as I walked down the corridor with Lia, an AAA pass hung around her neck and so excited that I wondered if she’d had a drink before coming here. With a slightly quicker step, I dragged her into Oli’s dressing room, aware he was currently hanging out with the rest of his band.
“Well, there’s been no fucking, but…”
I awkwardly started tidying up the dressing room. It came as second nature, really, trying to make sure things were in order, helping Oli out for later, not letting him drown in his chaos. I busied myself with a hoodie that I decided needed folding.
“But?! Aubrey, you’re not seriously gonna leave me starved for information here!”
“I mean, I did make out with Noah and I’ve seen Oli’s dick, so…”
Her squealing, I was pretty sure, could be heard next door and I couldn’t help but laugh. Lia was nothing if not supportive of basically anything I did.
I gave her a quick rundown of the last few days, keeping some of the details to myself while still letting her know what I’d been up to, including just about every endeavour I’d found myself in with the guys. She did nothing short of react appropriately, aw-ing and ooh-in and gasping and laughing. I’d missed having her around.
In the middle of me letting Lia know that, yes, I most definitely got cleaned up after last night’s escapade and, no, Oli and I hadn’t spoken about it yet and also, no, I didn’t think Noah knew, when the door to the dressing room flew open and revealed Oli himself.
“Speak of the devil,” Lia mused and I briefly panicked about her letting Oli know just what we were talking about, even though I knew fully well she would never betray me like that.
“I could say the same about you,” Oli replied, attempting to sound cruel but unable to hide the smile on his face.
“Why on earth would you have been talking about me?”
“Oh, I wasn’t. I was referring to the part where you are the devil.”
“Oh, you bastard!” Lia exclaimed with a laugh. “You coming out with us after the show?”
“Hell no. We got an early bus call and a four-hour drive to Glasgow. And I know what you get up to, Lia.”
My heart sank a little, even though I knew Oli was only being reasonable. We did only have a few hours in the hotel before we needed to get going again. I was going to be fine, really - I planned on not getting blackout drunk and there wasn’t too much left for me to do tomorrow that I hadn’t already taken care of. Plus, I wasn’t the one who had to be up on stage that night delivering the show of their life.
“Fucking party pooper.”
“I’m so much of a party pooper that I specifically came to get you two because Bad Omens are about to start. Managed to organise some wine for you too. Good enough?”
“Just about,” Lia mused, standing up and walking past him and out of the room with the confidence only someone who had on idea which way the stage was could have. We both looked at her leave, overly amused, until I remembered she was my friend and I should probably make sure she wouldn’t get completely lost.
Oli stopped me at the door. “You gonna stop by when you get back tonight?”
“I could just text you that I got back safe, you know. It might get late.”
He slung his arm around my waist, pulling me into a side hug, a telling smirk playing on his lips. “I’ll gladly wake up for you.”
•••
I wasn’t quite sure how we ended up in Oli’s suite - a suite! Motherfucker had a suite all to himself! - playing questionable drinking games (Truth or dare? Never have I ever? 21 questions? Honestly, it was hard to tell at this point) way past midnight and maybe it was because I was a little intoxicated - not drunk, I was still aware I had a bus ride in just a few hours - but I was tipsy enough not to question it just yet.
The evening had gone something like this: Oli had, in fact, organised two bottles of wine and exclusive seats for us during the show. Lia was blown away by Bad Omens and the way Noah sang and how she couldn’t blame me at all for crushing on him. Then, Lia followed it up by being blown away by Bring Me The Horizon and their production and the Oli’s stage presence and the fact that I had somehow not banged him yet. Especially when he effectively climbed his videographer. Didn't help with the thoughts in my head either. Both of those bottles were killed by the time the show was over.
We had briefly ventured out to Lia’s favourite bar for a few shots, but had quickly realised that talking about Oli and Noah in a crowded place full of people who had just left the very concert they had performed at, wasn’t the wisest decision. So, with some more alcohol in tow, Lia had stolen my phone and texted the two men and somehow, somehow convinced them to join us for a little afterparty. Now all of us were feeling the buzz and going along with Lia’s questionable ideas.
“Worst place you’ve ever vomited?”
“Just about every single time it happened on stage, and love, it happened,” Oli laughed. Those had been the bad times. I didn’t miss them at all. I’d trade them for this version of Oli, happy, healthy, optimistic, flirty, bloody gorgeous any day.
“Alright. No need to get into that. Noah, empty your wallet and show everyone what’s inside.”
Noah didn’t hesitate, grabbing the item from the back pocket of his trousers and emptying its contents. There wasn’t too much interesting stuff in there - ID, a credit card, some loose change in more than one currency. Lia grabbed onto the condom wrappers immediately. Three of them.
“Ultra thin, extra lube, ribbed,” she read aloud. “Damn, someone knows how to treat their partners.”
Noah blushed a little under the redness that the alcohol had already flushed his cheeks with. I was pretty sure I did the same, my mind running away with thoughts. This was good. He quickly gathered them up again and stowed them away but I didn’t think he missed the way Oli raised his eyebrows at him. Surprise enough that he didn’t say anything.
“Aubrey, who would you like to kiss in this room?”
“Who wouldn’t I like to kiss!” I giggled, taking another sip of wine, even though it was starting to get to my head. Obviously.
“Well, me, hopefully, or you’ll have to deal with my wife,” Lia laughed, holding up the wedding ring on her finger. “Anyway. What caused your last relationship to break down?”
She didn’t aim the question at anyone in particular, but Noah, sweet, closed-off Noah, suddenly had an intense urge to answer.
“What didn't,” he groaned, throwing his had back and cradling the bottle in his hands. “Touring, the distance, the groupies that don’t exist, the missed phone calls, the not being enough.” He threw his hands in the air in defeat. I thought it was the most he had revealed about himself, like, ever. “And here comes the kicker. I was talking about proposing to her with the guys and looking up rings the very morning of the day she broke up with me.”
Silence engulfed us. A comment from Folio, just a few days ago, and Noah’s very unamused answer was whirling in my head, but I was too intoxicated to make perfect sense of it right now. I just knew there was a connection.
I didn’t know if telling him I was sorry would cut it. Bit of a big deal, really, finding someone to marry who drops you like that. What do you say to that? Luckily, good old Oli jumped in pretty much immediately.
“Emotionally unavailable and obsessed with myself,” he said. “Pretty sure that’s a direct quote, too. Probably not too wrong about it either.”
Apparently we were sharing break-up stories now. My turn, I decided.
“Told her that, very theoretically, mind, I would be open to polyarmory. Because, you know, I definitely think you can be in love with more than one person. And if everyone’s happy, I’m sure there’s something great about relationships that aren’t just two people. Well,” I mused, throwing back another sip of wine to keep myself going, spilling a little on my top, “all she heard was ‘this is an open relationship without any rules now’ and went and banged someone else the next day.”
The three of us looked each other, throwing pitiful looks around, realising we were all pretty fucked up in our own ways, and suddenly broke out laughing. It almost took my breath away, the intensity of the relief of sharing these little things with people so dear to me, letting them understand me a little better, understanding them a little better in return and oh god more wine on me. These jeans would have to go straight into the washing.
“Enough tearjerker stories,” Lia announced, but there was no malice in her words. “Let’s get back to the fun questions! Worst sex experience! Oli, please, I want to hear yours.”
“Alright, first one that comes to mind right now, couple of years ago, right, I hook up with this girl, all fun and games, but it’s very fucking tame, you know? And out of nowhere she just fucking chokes me. I’m not saying I don’t like it, but that proper came out of fucking nowhere. Like. Normally, you’d ease up to it, if you hadn’t talked about it.”
Suddenly, Oli seemed to be sitting much closer to Noah than before. I wasn’t sure if it was my imagination. Or the light.
“You’d have your hands on them somewhere,” Oli explained, drawing out his words, as his hand landed on Noah’s chest. He was caught off guard for a moment, but silently allowed the moment to play out. “Slowly move them up, see if they enjoy it.”
Oli followed through. Noah was definitely enjoying it. I was transfixed on the display in front of me.
 “Get a little skin-on-skin contact.”
His fingers were tracing the line where Noah’s shirt ended, just letting his fingertips play with the hem a little. I’d never seen Oli so gentle, but it was doing things to my body. Noah’s breathing was speeding up now, chest heaving, unable to keep it hidden. I couldn’t blame him at all.
“See how they react to your hand being closer to their throat.”
Oli’s hand moved higher, carefully stroking the skin at Noah’s neck. Noah swallowed, hard, his eyelids fluttering shut. It was as if he was loosing all control over his bodily reactions. It was intoxicating to watch.
“And maybe, you know, if they don’t move away or move your hand, you can give it a try.”
And Oli did. Wrapping his hand around Noah’s throat and squeezing a little. Just the slightest bit. Just the possibility of more. And Noah moaned.
“And that’s my cue to get myself on an uber home!” Lia declared loudly, standing up and just about catching the wine bottle that had been in her lap before it toppled over onto the carpet. She was swaying a little, quite obviously the most drunk out of the four of us and I quickly made the executive decision to accompany her downstairs and wait with her. Oli gave me a nod, a satisfied smirk on his face. Noah didn’t look at me at all, but he seemed to be questioning all his life choices.
“Girl! What’s going on between the two of them? I knew you were developing… something with both of them, you didn’t tell me about the two of them with each other!”
I awkwardly fumbled with Oli’s room key as we descended on the lift. “I don’t think they know either.”
“But, do you mind?”
I looked at her, thoughtful for a moment, almost missing the time frame to leave the lift as it arrived in the lobby. Did I mind?
“No,” I answered, without giving it any further thought, just knowing. “No, I really don’t.”
“That’s what I wanted to hear,” Lia giggled, giving me a hug so enthusiastically it almost toppled us over. “Now go, go and get them together and then get them both for yourself.”
•••
I didn’t knock when I used the key card to get back into Oli’s room. It shouldn’t have come as a surprise that I was going to be back - not only had I actively snatched the card from the desk but I had also left all my stuff in there. Still, none of us had seen the situation coming, apparently.
The first thing I saw when I entered the room was that neither Oli nor Noah were still sitting on the couch. The second thing I saw was that Oli had pressed Noah against the wall instead.
They didn’t notice me immediately, too caught up in their own world as Oli frantically pressed his lips to Noah’s. Entangled as if they simply couldn’t get close enough, one of Oli’s hands was in Noah’s hair, keeping him in place, keeping him complacent, the other running up the outside of his thigh, as Noah was pawing at Oli’s back, as if not sure what his hands were looking for, but trying all the same. My heart fluttered with… love? The door falling shut behind me caught their attention.
They didn’t jump apart. In fact, their hands were still exactly where they had left them. But both of them had turned their heads so fast it looked painful.
“Don’t stop on my account,” I grinned. “I’m very much enjoying this.”
Noah was visibly shaken up and out of breath and I wondered if that was what happened to people who got to kiss Oli Sykes, but Oli himself was in the best of moods.
“See, I heard that you went and kissed our Noah here,” he explained, slowly detaching himself from him. Noah’s body almost followed on its own account, seemingly not having enough of the other man just yet. “And I got really, really jealous. But now I’m realising that means he got to kiss you, too.”
“There’s really no need to be jealous, at all,” I replied, letting him come closer and closer, just to push him back onto the couch. Straddling his lap, my thighs on either side of his, was a logical conclusion. “You can kiss me anytime.”
There was a hint of hesitation. Something familiar in his eyes, something like home. A decade-long friendship that was begging to be ruined. I knew he saw the same in me. We’d done things with each other, things to each other, that went beyond any regular friendship. But this moment, this temptation of finally getting his mouth on mine, a kiss, felt like it weighed so much more heavily on both of us.
His hands landed on my thighs, moving up to the small of my back, giving me security and safety and all rationality be damned, I leaned down and allowed my lips to touch his.
A shockwave travelled through every inch of my being, then the tension evaporated, as if this was where I'd always meant to be. Oli was soft and pliant under me, a stark contrast to how he usually presented himself, to how he usually behaved around me even, but I indulged in the feeling, grabbing onto his arms to make them wrap around me, letting him hold me close, tightly. I couldn't stop my own hands from tracing along his torso, his neck, his face, silently mapping his body in a way I had never been allowed to before. When his tongue licked against my lips, I let him in.
The kiss became more frantic as I lost all self-control. Years and years of unfulfilled desires poured into us as I pressed myself into him. Oli tasted sweet, so much sweeter than expected, even with the beer still lingering. I could feel myself falling, deeper and deeper, like a feral animal willingly setting foot into a trap, the temptation of the bait calling too loudly to ignore.
I noticed the couch dip before my brain realised Noah was next to us. Then his hand was at the back of my head, gripping my hair and pulling me off Oli. Instantly, he had me turned toward him, Oli’s hands still on me, my body still on his lap, but now my lips were crashing into Noah’s. It was electrifying, his frantic kiss, how his lust must have built as he watched us. Oli’s mouth now at my neck, licking along my tendon, finishing it off with a soft bite.
Noah swallowed my moans easily, still holding me in place, still roughly moving my head to his own wishes. Oli was grinding up into me, his hard dick against my core making me squirm even through the layers, thoughts of what it had looked like, what he had looked like overwhelming my mind. When Noah let go of me it felt so sudden that I almost lost my balance, hands trying to find the couch table behind me as a way to steady myself. The dull noise of a bottle hitting the carpeted floor had all three of us halt in our movements.
The wine ended up on the carpet after all, like a bad metaphor for whatever the three of us had just started and might be unable to stop.
I got up from Oli’s lap, Noah also standing up as if he suddenly didn’t know where he was supposed to be anymore. The awkwardness in the room was tangible, the lines we had just crossed almost becoming visible in my mind as my tipsy brain struggled to make sense of the consequences.
When Noah and I announced our separate departures, Oli didn’t say a word, still staring at the dark red colour seeping into the plush beneath his feet. Both of us went in opposite directions in the hallway. I didn’t know if that was supposed to be a metaphor too.

Love For Love's Sake - Differences in the Kdrama and Novel: Spoiler Warning (Pt 3)
Tumblr media
as the title says, i just wanted to spread information because I love this series and them soo much u cant pull me away from the grasp they have on me
the show is pretty faithful to the original, although there were some parts that were swapped for one reason or another - mostly due to time.
the way i'll do this is, i'll first say what happens in the Kdrama (since more people are familiar with it) and then what happens in the Novel - small changes like added dialogue / continuation of dialogue or simple swapped backgrounds wont be noted (unless I find it interesting, funny or of importance)
OR if the scene wasnt added to the drama at all, I'll note that down (and vice versa if the scene is not in the novel)
if something isnt explained - its because its exactly the same / similar enough to the Kdrama. also keep in mind that myungha has A LOT of internal dialogue in the novel - so some may be reference, some wont.
as im reading with a fan translation, it may not be 100% accurate, but I'm trusting the fan who took the time out their day to translate - thank u to them
here we go <3
===========================================
[EP1] FUSTRAITED YEOWOON ====>
KDRAMA:
Yeowoon is running around the track - thinking about the events of last night
he's fustraited Myungha is avoiding him
he is scolded by his coach for being distracted and is told to run another lap
Cut to Tak Junho and the other bullies smoking - they are confused why Myungha is protecting Yeowoon and call Sangwon before they make any further moves [not in the novel]
the next day Myungha is with Kyunghoon - he asks him about Yeowoon - they then become friends. Kyunghoon warns him not to get involved with yeowoon's bullies [Happens in the novel but before Yeowoon's internal thoughts - see 'Differences pt2']
Yeowoon is stopped by his bullies - they ask him about Myungha and tell Yeowoon about Myungha's 'mad dog' status + rumours.
Yeowoon tries to leave but the bullies stop him - then Tak Joonkyung appears
Yeowoon sighs and expects trouble - but Tak Joonkyung apologises to him - telling him to tell Myungha that he apologised, before leaving
Yeowoon then goes to Myungha's class and chases him down the hall when Myungha tries to avoid him
Yeowoon confronts him
Myungha tells Yeowoon he needs to like him more if he want Myungha around.
NOVEL:
Yeowoon is in his class at his desk
his internal thoughts are more in depth - he thinks about how his bullying first started: the bullies didn't used to be mean, they used to look up to him, wanting to be his friend but that changed when Yeowoon 'stole' a race from Tak Joonkyung = everyone blamed him (even the coach) but Yeowoon needed the prize money.
All he knew in life was to run to make his grandmother happy
his thoughts then shift to Myungha who saved him yesterday and why was he avoiding him - was it becuz of the bus ride? (did Myungha find him tiring?)
The other two bullies come up to his desk and tell him about Myungha = asking if they are close - telling him of Myungha's 'mad dog' status + rumours.
one bully grabs Yeowoon's shoulder - Yeowoon stops him, refusing to let go and showing his strength
Tak Joonkyung walks into the room - Yeowoon assumes the worst, and thinks he might be physically attacked = Yeowoon considers fighting back as he had nothing else left - no grandma, no track, ect - his fist clenches, but loosens as he remembers Myungha's voice (saying he runs well and that he's a fan)
Tak Joonkyung immediately apologises and tells him to tell Myungha this
Yeowoon is surprised and goes to find Myungha
Myungha runs away from him
Yeowoon chases = internally mentioning his achievements to show that chasing Myungha was nothing in comparison
Myungha goes down the stairs - Yeowoon feels like a shadow is pulling at his leg and falls down the stairs, but Myungha catches him (and they both fall to the ground)
Myungha worries about Yeowoon's ankles and goes to touch him to help but Yeowoon protests - jumping to his feet and telling Myungha to get up
Myungha is still genuinely worried but eventually gets up from his kneeling position
Yeowoon questions why he was avoiding him
Myungha simply says he's got to like him more before smiling and leaving
Yeowoon simply watches him leave, finding him annoying
Yeowoon's throat is dry and scratchy - his sunbae is strange
[EP1 / EP2] FIRST PHONE CALL ====>
KDRAMA:
At home
Myungha is outside, contemplating staying in this world cuz it's nicer
his phone rings
Yeowoon immedialy asks what he meant earlier
Myungha deflects and ask how Yeowoon got his number
Yeowoon dismisses and asks if Myungha punched Tak Joonkyung
Myungha says does he 'look like' the type of person to do such a thing
Yeowoon says yeah
Myungha scolds him to be polite
Yeowoon deduces Myungha didn't punch him and then cuts the phone
Myungha is left staring at his phone
Myungha jokes whether Yeowoon cared about him or JoonKyung
a pop-up appears
fondness has gone up to -7
then Myungha gets a new message : a time limit and penalty of death
END OF EP1
EP2 continues from EP1
Yeowoon is in bed looking at his grandma's picture
he gets a notification and immediately checks it - its Myungha wishing him goodnight
Yeowoon judges the old emoji use but doesnt respond before putting his phone down, going back to sleep (with a subtle warmth?)
TITLE SCREEN
NOVEL:
At home
Myungha sits at his home-desk - commenting on Yeowoon's speed and doodling in a random workbook = Grandma thinks he's studying and threatens to call a psychic
Myungha doesnt even have time to respond as he's lost in thought
the fall from earlier is said to be a DEBUFF
Myungha ponders how to get a positive fondness if he always gets a debuff around Yeowoon = but he can't get fondness up without seeing Yeowoon. its a vicious cycle
just then he gets texts from an unknown user but from the nature of texts Myungha guesses who it is immediatly
Yeowoon says he got the number from Myungha's teacher
Yeowoon asks if Myungha likes him
Myungha laughs over text and says he must be 'really curious' to text him just for that
Yeowoon gets annoyed and says he's going to sleep
Myungha tries to stop him but Yeowoon doesnt respond
as a last ditch effort, Myungha calls him expecting no answer, but to his surprise Yeowoon picks-up
Myungha is a little stunned Yeowoon answered and honest didn't plan on what to talk about
Yeowoon tells him to speak or he's putting the phone down
Myungha suggests talking until they fall asleep
Yeowoon complains they arent close - Myungha finds his grumpiness cute (although if he was truly 19, he would have punched him)
Yeowoon shifts the convo to Joonkyung and Myungha protests saying he never did anything and tells Yeowoon to have some social skills
Yeowoon asks if the rumours about Myungha are true = if he really won a 7 vs 1
Myungha jokes it was 8 vs 1 and asks if Yeowoon actually believes that rumour
Yeowoon says Myungha didn't deny it though
Myungha tries to explain as its half-truth = 7 guys wanted to fight him and Myungha managed to knock 3 of them out, before security shut down the situation.
Myungha says it can be assumed he won before before deflecting, scolding Yeowoon with all this talk about winning and losing.
Yeowoon pouts and grumbles becuz he isnt getting a clear answer + threating to disconnect the phone cuz he has early training
Myungha chuckles and tells him to take care of his body
Yeowoon says he acts like a Grandma and disconnects the call
fondness goes up to -7 then the time-limit and penalty appear
Myungha stunned
Yeowoon is in bed and he's cold cuz there's a draft and his electric blanket is broken
he says goodnight to his Grandma's picture but gets no response
his phone buzzes, Myungha wishes him goodnight
Yeowoon cant understand himself - why did he care enough to go to the teachers office and get Myungha's number?
Yeowoon is confused at Myungha's use of bunny emoji - its too cute for Myungha
Although Yeowoon smiles at the thought of sending something cute
Yeowoon doesnt respond and places the phone by his side = turning to sleep
Yeowoon feels a little warmer having someone to say goodnight to
[EP2] MORNING TEXTS ====>
KDRAMA:
Leaving for school, Yeowoon gets many texts from Myungha = he doesnt respond
Myungha is brushing his teeth - he is reminded of his low fondness, time limit and penalty = he questions what 'death' even means in this context
Myungha eats breakfast with Grandma - he sighs as he sees his unanswered texts
Grandma scolds him for sighing and tells him to put his phone away
Myungha hides his phone under the table and asks Grandma how she came to like grandpa
Grandma drones on about how she and he met in the war but Myungha isn't planning to date Yeowoon so it isn't really useful to him = he quickly leaves for school
at school, Myungha is with Kyunghoon - Myungha asks Kyunghoon how to text friends, Kyunghoon says he has no friends but Myungha reiterates they are friends and they exchange numbers
Myungha gets a pop-up Yeowoon is close and he leaves the class quickly
as he escapes the halls, Yeowoon rings his phone, demanding to know where he is; confronting him about avoiding him
Myungha tries to deny it - twisting his lie but Yeowoon isn't buying it - he instead demands they eat lunch together
Myungha thinks about it, wanting to refuse but agrees before telling Yeowoon to focus in class
(then the scene cuts to the next)
NOVEL:
[also not important to these posts, but for some reason the scene where Myungha and Grandma talk at breakfast (which is featured in the Novel and Kdrama) isnt present in the Manhwa = idk why its ommitted when literally everything else from the novel is included]
The novel and Kdrama are almost 1-1 in this part of the story = their is only some minor chnages + a bit after the call.
the talk at breakfast and with kyunghoon in class is the same
Yeowoon is more threatening in his demands to eat together
First Yeowoon demands Myungha wait for him (since the seniors finish class a few mins earlier than the juniors) and then he demands Myungha pays for his lunch
Myungha agrees and tells him to concentrate in class before Yeowoon cuts the call abruptly
Myungha goes back to his class, telling Kyunghoon they cant eat together today (cuz Myungha is worried Kyunghoon will get hurt if theres a debuff)
Kyunghoon is sad - but Myungha instead offers to eat together after school and Kyunghoon perks back up (what a cutie-pie)
[EP2] PIZZA-BREAD LUNCH ====>
KDRAMA:
Myungha is walking to the canteen when he is rushed by a swarm of boys running to buy food
after buying lunch he sits desheveled on a bench = Yeowoon appears and sits beside him
Myungha hands him the pizza-bread and Yeowoon is surprised (in the drama Yeowoon was gonna buy it himself) but accepts the bread anyway
Myungha asks why Yeowoon doesnt like him
Yeowoon says he 'likes' him more than most people
Myungha understands Yeowoon is just not fond of people in general
Myungha asks what kind of person Yeowoon likes
Yeowoon finds the question dumb but asnwers with 'trustworthy' and 'dependable' people
Myungha says thats 'literally him'
Yeowoon asks why he wants to know
Myungha says hes Yeowoon's fan (and that he doesnt really care for track and feild) but he just likes to see Yeowoon run
Yeowoon drops his bread in surprise
Myungha picks it up and hands it back to him - Yeowoon tells him not to make dumb jokes
Myungha's fondness increases to -5 and gets a debuff
a leaf falls from the tree - Myungha covers Yeowoon and the leaf hits his hand - the purple smoke following
Yeowoon pushes his arm away, calling him weird
Myungha chuckles and looks at his hand emmiting the purple smoke
Myungha phone rings... its Kyunghoon = he answers
(then the scene changes)
NOVEL:
Myungha goes to get the bread during the rush-line = he loses his jacket and one of his buttons - but he got the bread at least
Myungha crouches to find his lost button
Yeowoon appears and immediatly finds the button
they both sit down at a nearby bench
Yeowoon is surprised Myungha actually brought him food - he wasnt being serious earlier = but he accepts the food anyway
Yeowoon irritably pouts but sits down - he tears into the bread
[same convo as kdrama] talking about Yeowoon not liking humans in general but liking Myungha a bit more than others. then Yeowoon says what kind of person he likes and that Myungha likes seeing Yeowoon run - (Myungha mentally explains how he likes Yeowoon's determination)
Yeowoon drops the bread, Myungha picks it put
Fondness increases, Debuff occurs [same as drama] although Myungha pulls Yeowoon closer to protect him from the leaf = he doesnt even explain why he did that - Yeowoon gets flustered and blushes before pushing him away
Myungha gets a call from Kyunghoon - he hears Kyunghoon's small voice on the other side... which is then followed by a new voice he'd never heard before -
the voice taunts Myungha
[EP2] CLASS FIGHT ====>
KDRAMA:
On the rooftop, boys surrounded
Tak Junho confronts Myungha about messing with his brother (Myungha accidently assumes them to be dating)
Myungha asks why Kyunhoon is here but Junho merely says he 'made the wrong friend'
Myungha says they should just talk but Junho throws punches = Myungha ducks and weaves out the way, reitterating to be civil (ensuring not to hurt Junho)
Junho still wants to fight so Myungha flicks his head as a warning
Junho throws a box and throws more punches, so Myungha jabs his side a few times
Junho doesnt back down so Myungha rushes at him in intimidation but Junho almost falls off the roof = Myungha catches his arm and pulls him back (they end up in a psedo-romantic pose)
Junho is embaressed and gets up
Sangwon appears for the first time, slow clapping like a cartoon villain
Sangwon is impressed and wants Myungha to punch / fight him
Security appears before it can continue
Sangwon apologises unsincerely
they get off the roof
Sangwon notices Yeowoon and deduces he ratted them out = Yeowoon says nothing
Myungha and Kyunghoon come off the roof too as Sangwon leaves first - Yeowoon also leaves minutes later.
Kyunghoon and Myungha walk the halls = Kyunghoon apologises
Kyunghoon then explains about Sangwon - how he's rich, picks fights and gets away with a lot - but is still a nice person at times
NOVEL:
Myungha on the rooftop
Tak Junho accuses him of messing with his brother = Myungha thinks back to his convo with Joonkyung - he didnt even touch him (he basically asked if Joonkyung bullies Yeowoon and while intimidated, Joonkyung immediatly says he wouldnt)
[fight is same as kdrama] Myungha mistakes them to be dating, Junho tries throwing punches, Myungha tells him to be civil - Junho kicks and Myungha catches him where they end up in that romantic pose = Junho blushes before pushing away
Sangwon claps and asks Myungha to punch him cuz he heard the rumours about Myungha
security appears and Sangwon flirts with the old security man (cuz honeslty why not)
the boys filter off the roof one-by-one while apologising
Sangwon calls Yeowoon 'Myunghas loyal frined' mockingly before leaving
A small flashback to before coming to the roof - Myungha wanted to fight, but Yeowoon suggests getting the teacher - they decide to do both (Myungha would go to the roof to fight while Yeowoon would call the teacher)
Yeowoon asks if Myungha is okay = Myungha dismisses saying he didnt even fight. Myungha then goes to Kyunghoon asking if HE is okay after being bullied = Kyunghoon reassures.
Yeowoon quickly announces he's leaving to track and feild - not even looking back as Myungha wishes him well
Myungha and Kyunhoon get off the roof = Kyunghoon explains about Sangwon [Same as Kdrama but with more info] like: Sangwon was expelled from his last prestegious school after an 'accident' (its not mentioned what happened), Sangwon's family owns most of the real-estate in the area, and that he's a model
Kyunghoon says Sangwon isnt a bully - he just plays too much.
=========================================
see the wait wasnt that long this time
also Yeowoon is so much more bratty in the novel and i love it
i want to do as many as possible in one post, but not make it overwhelmingly too much for one post
if you have any questions or just wanna talk about LFLS, please do <3
