HCs of Sevika in Love ఌ
Congrats champ, you bagged a baddie!
**Reader is fem!
◈ ⁘ ⁘ ⁘ ⁘ ◈
◈ ⁘ ⁘ ⁘ ⁘ ◈
It's not that Sevika has crazy high standards. Her wants in a partner are actually very straightforward; it's just that most people lack the base integrity and self-accountability to even catch her attention in the first place
I really don't think she'd ever fall for anyone from Piltover, there's just too many generations of trauma accompanied by a life lived under their foot for her to get past. She loves Zaun too much to ever love anything to do with Piltover
That said, she's attracted to the ideals she associates with the Undercity; perseverance, strength (doesn't have to mean physical), adaptability and loyalty. If you have her love, you most certainly earned it bae
For her, it's probably an "oh shit"/"oh no" type of singular moment, when she realizes she's fallen in love
Either you got hurt or in some position where her true feelings were forced out of her, OR it's during an achingly soft moment where it's clear how loyal/devoted you are to her, and only her.
Absolutely spends months denying herself. She will try to distance, reasoning that you're both better off without the notion of love walling you in.
Zaun is no place for that, she thinks. She recalls Felicia and her husband, dying together on that bridge while a twenty-something year-old Sevika, at the time, watched them fall.
The pain to know you couldn't save your loved one in your final moments (even worse to leave two young children behind). She couldn't imagine it. Didn't want to. Sevika knew that her road would end at a violent last stop, and she didn't want you anywhere near that. She thinks about having met you in a different place.
…But she can't fully hide how she feels about you, not ever. She may oftentimes be rough and ruthless, but even at her worst moment Sevika isn't a cold individual. She's too passionate about you, cares too deeply for where you are and how you are
So when you show up at her apartment to yell at her for being so cruel, for shutting you out of her heart instead of being a grown-ass woman and telling you what the fuck you did wrong, she lets you.
She lets you yell until you've tired yourself out, and then she pulls you into that embrace you missed so much. You hit her shoulder or her chest, weakly, because you love her like crazy and never wanna actually hurt her, and tell her to fuck off.
"I didn't wanna push you away, dumbass," she'll say to you, softly, as she presses a kiss to your ear, "You think I don't want you with me all the time? To tell you I love you and shit without it coming back to bite us in the ass? Of course I do. Of course I do. I just… I don't know how. But I'm gonna fuckin' learn, doll. I promise."
"You… you love me? Really?" "Doll, I don't even let Silco talk to me like that." "You asshole-!"
You're mad, but not really. How can you be? You two will make this work, she already gave you her word.
It's more likely for you to move in with her than vice versa. She lets you go ham on adding your personality to her living space, she doesn't have any strong preferences besides cleanliness
Always says I love you before she goes to work. Just in case. If you mess with her and don't say it back, she will get up in arms about it within two seconds of silence
"I could die, you know." "Babe, I'm just joking!" "Do you see me laughing??"
Obviously, lets her drama queen side show more. She's just all-around looser once she confesses.
She makes sure you know how different you are from others, how special you are. Even her posture is different the moment you're within arm's reach
Body language and physicality are Sevika's main fluency. When in love, you notice the way she angles her body protectively around yours in public, or how she always urges you to link your arm with hers when you walk.
You notice that she almost looks… smaller at home. You realize this is on purpose. She makes herself less intimidating when it's just you, lowering herself to your level and opening her posture to you
At home, she likes kneeling by your side when you're sitting on the couch, checking you over or pressing slow kisses to your hands.
Devoted, devoted, devoted. She never wants you to forget.
Every time you call her name, she always stops what she's doing to give you her attention.
"Sevi?" "Yes, baby?" Every time. It's grounding for you both, in a way
Her henchmen become your henchmen. They know better than to say no to your requests for their help. (Ran is down for antics with you regardless!!)
People all over the Undercity start to recognize you as "Sevika's woman". Not her "girl", you garner too much respect for that
You are the only person Sevika answers to besides Silco. Her close circle teases her that you turn her into a little lovestruck puppy
It's really only them who are even capable of teasing her about this, because her changes in behavior are so minute but so important
She puts out her cigarillos when you sit down with her. She always shifts you over to her left side (the side most capable of protecting you). Her eyes start scanning the room more frequently than before you'd arrived.
She figures out over time that she was wrong. When she holds you against her while you sleep, and you grab her hand half-consciously to press kisses to her wrist, she knows you don't make her weak
When you whisper that you love her against her neck while you sway in the kitchen, moving to whatever music vibrates from the depths of her beloved city, she knows you don't make her weak
When you pull her back together without fail, remind her that she is more than just a grunt in a revolution, a soldier that can be replaced, she knows you don't make her weak
There isn't anything she wouldn't do to get back to you. She has to live long enough to know what a good life in a liberated Zaun looks like with you

Mine
↳ Pairing: Dad-Minho x reader
❧ Genre: fluff
❧ Words: +1k
❧Summary : Let's say that Minho was not too happy to find out that his little girl got herself a boyfriend.
❧ A/N: I think I might be addicted to dadMinho, sue me.
***
“Stop stomping your foot.” You poked Minho’s arm.
He stopped and slowly turned his face to look at you. No, not to look at you. To scowl at you. It was cute how he thought he could intimidate you even after three years of marriage, six years of relationships and eleven years of friendship. You had seen it all. So no, his little act of intimidation didn’t faze you. Not the slightest. Instead you smiled sweetly at him.
He grumbled. “I’m just excited to see my little girl after a whole week away.”
You were tempted to tease him, to point out to him that he looked more upset than excited, but your face softened at his words. Maybe he looked a little grumpy, but you knew how he felt deep inside. Minho hated leaving for more than a day. Not that you wanted to flatter yourself, but apparently the man couldn’t properly function away from you for too long. Or your little girl. He needed the two of you every day; to hear your voices, your laughs that he adored so much, to be able to touch you.
“She’s excited too.” You said as you grabbed his hand and gave it a comforting squeeze.
Nari was more than excited. You couldn’t force her to sleep last night no matter how hard you tried. The girl, sadly for the two of you, was just as stubborn as her parents, at only five years old. But you understood her feelings, her longing. She wanted to see her daddy just as much as you did. FaceTiming with him every night wasn’t the same. Reading her a story before bed through the phone was not enough. She missed his presence, his warm hugs.
“I’m happy you’re back.” You leaned closer and pecked his lips. “I missed you.”
Minho relaxed at your words and a smug smile spread across his face. “Did you now?” He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you flush against him.
“Minho.” You warned him. You didn’t mind his display of affection, you craved his touches. But you were still standing in the middle of the street along with many other parents. Mothers who got a little too noisy for your liking.
Before you could make any other protests, Minho claimed your mouth, shutting you up, pressing you even more against him. Resigned, you bit playfully on his lips, ignoring the loud gasps close to you.
The loud laughs of kids interrupted your sweet moment. Minho dropped you instantly, his eyes already on the dozens of kids running to their parents. Of course he would forget all about you so easily. You chuckled to yourself and watched him from the side.
The happiness in his eyes only intensified as he eyed the kids, trying to spot Nari among them. But it got quickly replaced with a scowl.
“What the fuck.” He muttered and took a step.
You followed his eyes and winced. Yeah, maybe you should have mentioned that your five years old girl got herself a boyfriend. You took Minho’s hand, forcing him to stay still. “Minho.”
“Who the fuck is he?” He growled, “And why is he holding Nari’s hand?” You couldn’t ignore his murderous aura even if you tried. And judging by how quickly people around you took steps back, they felt it too.
“Minho.”
“I’m going to-“
“Lee Minho. Calm the fuck down. They’re five. It’s not that serious.” When Nari had told you about her boyfriend, your first reaction was to laugh so hard you had to hold your stomach. But then Nari had scowled at you, the typical Lee Minho’s scowl, and it made you pause. She had been serious. You thought it was cute but you should have considered Minho’s reaction. The ever overprotective dad.
Minho looked at you, devastated, lost and also still so upset. You should feel bad for him and comfort him but you just couldn’t help but laugh. This situation was getting more and more ridiculous.
“Daddy!!” Nari squealed, so excited, so happy.
Minho instantly forgot all about his mental breakdown and spun around, arms opened wide to welcome her in his arms. And she did. Nari jumped in his arms and giggled loudly and sweetly. The best sound in the world.
“I missed you!!” She gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
“I missed you too.” He scooped her in his arms and spun her around, thriving in the sound of her giggles and huge smile.
Your heart swelled with love and pride at your little family. Minho and Nari were everything you could dream of, hope for in life. They filled your heart with so much fondness and need to protect. The perfect little family.
“Hi mommy!” Nari waved cutely her hand, still resting safely in Minho’s arms.
You kissed her cheek in response. “Had a good day?”
“Yes!! I have to show you my new drawings!”
Minho was probably about to say that her drawings were amazing without even seeing them, just because he loved her so much. But then, his eyes fell on her boyfriend, and his scowl was back. Fortunately for him, Nari was too busy telling you all about her activities. Unfortunately for you, you had to keep smiling (and not laughing at your ridiculous husband) while he was having a glaring contest with a five years old kid. Save me.
“Daddy, can you put me back on the ground?” Nari stopped talking in the middle of her explanation and looked at her dad. “I want to say goodbye to my boyfriend.”
Minho’s body response was to obey. He put her back on the ground and realized too late what he had done. You wrapped your arm around him, to comfort him or maybe to prevent him from doing something incredibly stupid.
“Oh hell no.” Minho growled as he watched Nari kiss the boy’s cheek, smiling so sweetly at him, whispering something in his ear, giggling together.
“Minho. You know I love you,” You reminded him, “But I swear to god if you try to fight a five years old kid, I’m going to kick your ass.”
Minho slowly averted his eyes from a painful scene and looked at you with gritted teeth. “She’s too damn young to kiss a stupid boy who wouldn’t be even able to protect her.”
“Yeah. They’re five. Of course he can’t fight.”
“I can fight.”
You shook your head. “You’re not competing with a kid. Now behave.” You ordered as the boy’s parents along with Nari approached you.
“Nari is such a little angel!” His mom beamed, heart eyes, as she watched the two of them. “Aren’t they cute together? Ah, young love.” She cooed dreamily.
They were cute, but you would rather die than admit it for Minho’s sake.
“How about we meet tomorrow afternoon?” His mom suggested, already excited about her plan. “They can play and we can spend some time together!”
You felt Minho tense under your touch, followed by “Over my dead body.”
“Sorry?” His mom asked.
“Of course!” You stepped in. Not that you wanted to spend time with her, now that Minho was back but you could see how much the idea of playing with her boyfriend made Nari happy. “Do you mind if Minho comes too? He just got back from a trip.”
“Of course!”
Minho waited for them to leave before leaning dangerously close, “You’re gonna pay for his.”
You sent him a flying kiss. If you had to suffer then so did he. “Game on, pretty boy.”
Nari groaned and gaged. “You’re disgusting.”

Health and Hybrids (XXX)👽👻💚
[I can't remember the original prompt posters for the life of me but here's a mashup between a cryptid!Danny, presumed-alien!Danny, dp x dc, and the prompt made the one body horror meat grinder fic.]
🖤Chapter navigation can be found here🖤 Click to browse previous updates.
💚 Ao3 Is here for all parts 💚 (now featuring mediocre mouseover translations, only available on a computer)
Where we last left off... Several therapeutic white boards were drawn on. Everyone reading was so good and normal about it. So were the characters, presumably.
Trigger warnings for this story: body horror | gore | post-dissection fic | dehumanization (probably) | my nonexistent attempts at following DC canon. On with the show.
💚👻👽👻💚
Additionally: apologies to Adwen and Allmune on ao3, to whom I directly said I wouldn't do this; I lied. (Whoopsie).
Also additionally: Bonus fic snippet you may have missed

“Are you hungry?” Danny’s new therapist asks, her fingers playing with her pen.
Danny shrugs.
Pretty quickly, they’d figured out that these sessions went…worse…when Danny was hungry. Hunger makes him upset. Being upset makes him want to speak less. Not talking ruins the whole affair.
“Want to talk?”
Danny shakes his head, and sprawls out onto the couch—he’s allowed to basically position himself however he feels comfortable in the room, and if he has a choice, he’d rather just hang out horizontal. Does it make getting back into his chair harder? Yes. Is there a lady with super strength right outside his the office door who is willing to pick him up at a moment’s notice? Also yes.
(It’s kind of silly, but, if his legs ever stop feeling so sore…Danny is. Well.)
(He’s kind of curious how tall he’d be if Diana held him piggyback.)
“Want to draw? Paint?”
Drawing is a high-stress activity. Danny tends to default to memories when he draws these days, and he’d rather not think about that right now. Finger-painting is another option, but it’s pretty messy…even if it would be fun…
Danny’s therapist (?) (he's pretty sure that’s what she is?) is a blonde woman, with a quiet face and piercing eyes. She’d probably be less intimidating if they knew each other’s language, if Danny’s being honest; usually these types of people try to talk their way out of being intimidating. Instead, Danny sits on her pinstripe couch in unbranded sweatpants and a thin white tee, and she wears a suitjacket over her tights.
It’s all very strange. It’s not more strange than his chaperone’s usual outfit of plate armor and tiara, but still.
“Want the language bócastréon again?”
…Danny hums in thought, hands crossed across his chest. He’s pretty sure they’ve tried building a thing that’ll detect his language, like, three different times by now, but every time it winds up like the Fenton Ghost Gabber: mindlessly repeating his words back to him, unable to make heads or tails on translation. At least these trials don’t end every one of his statements with I am a ghost, fear me.
Oh well. It’s better than nothing. Danny shrugs.
The therapist clicks the machine on from a switchpad at her elbow, and a blue holographic screen fills the air. Danny only spends a little bit of time batting at the display like a cat, watching the light play off his hands for his own amusement.
“Please begin,” the thing says, and the same text pops up on the screen.
“S’up,” Danny tells it, and grins when the little display starts its very, very, long, and very, very familiar, buffering process.
Danny already knows this isn’t going to work. He might as well have fun with it.
He talks about his day, he talks about his old bedroom; he talks about what he had for lunch, toying with one of the sucker-toys he woke up with ages ago even though he doesn’t know who gave them to him. He talks about his friends, because he loves them—not Tuck and Sam, who he’ll miss the rest of his life, but Mikey and Poindexter, and what school had been like for him. Quiet topics. Easy topics.
Normal topics.
…Danny isn’t’ sure he’ll ever have normalcy again, but…remembering it isn’t so bad either. He plays with his weird suction cup toy with both hands and he talks.
“…So I ended up getting stuck without the Speeder like a million zillion miles from the portal. I thought Jazz was going to kill me, since she needed it to take her girlfriend to prom the literal next night, so I had to run around for like forty minutes looking for someone to help me out— but at least Wulf was like ‘Ne estas problemo’ and he helped me sniff out the weird cheese Vlad had left in the center console of the Speeder the week before—“
The box beeps. “Lingvo identigita: Kryptonian.”
Danny bolts upright as fast as his limbs let him.
Danny was never as good as Tucker was with Esperanto, but— But that’s Esperanto. Danny’s hung out with Wulf long enough, did enough Duodioma with the stupid little muppet bird mascot. The box didn’t call it the right thing, but—
—But—
The therapist looks at Danny, eyes wide. Danny can’t even look at her. He’s too busy staring at the discount-aisle Ghost Gabber.
“Diru ĝin denove,” Danny demands sharply. Say it again.
The screen automatically translates his words as he speaks—in Esperanto, and then into their own language, the two transcriptions populating side by side when Danny speaks.
At this point, the woman’s mouth is open. Danny would be right there with her, but—
Danny sits there, numb.
He has a language. A language that is mostly guesswork on his part and the occasional swears Wulf will teach him as a joke, but, still, a language.
A language made up by a doctor in Poland. In the eighteen…somethings. And these people with superpowers know it. And they know what it is.
And the therapist looks at him, stunned, with new eyes, as if she knows something new about him now.
…What the hell is Kryptonian?
*
There isn’t Kryptonian plural. Danny thought there there might be.
There isn’t.There is pretty much only one.
One. Singular. Kryptonian.
That feels worse, somehow.

JD: I do. Everyone here is kind. I eat a lot. I get exercise. We play games. I take breaks. I see space. I do not worry here, unless I get scared by accident. KE: I am…very glad to hear that. (Chokes up.) My son is about half your height. If my son was far away, I would want someone to help him too. We only want to do our best for you, alright? Please tell us if something is wrong. JD: So I can fight? KE: Pardon? JD: I am meant to fight, right? KE: No, no—not fighting. Just healing. And resting. JD: And then after… I am supposed to fight? KE: No. No, not—you don’t have to fight. The only thing we need is for you to be healthy. We don’t need you to fight anyone. JD: Everyone wants me to fight. (Begins stimming with slime) There are many children here. They all fight. I am eventually going to have to fight. I know.
*NOTE: Slime was provided by Medical team for therapeutic use.
KE: (Pause) Who is everyone? JD: (Silence) KE: Did someone make you fight, before? Is that why you were injured? JD: (Silence) KE: I am sorry if they did. That is not fair. You are not an adult yet, and even adults should not have to fight unless they enlist purposefully. You are a child. JD: No one thinks I am a child. KE: Who said that? JD: (Silence) KE: Did someone hurt you? JD: (Pause) I do not want to talk. KE: Alright. Can you tell me why you do not want to talk? JD: (Silence) KE: Would you like to fight? JD: I am good at fighting. KE: That is not what I asked. JD: There is no choice? When there are bad things and bad people, someone has to fight. I am strong—when I am not injured, I am strong. I fight. There are people who are not strong, and cannot fight. I can fight. I fight. KE: (Silence) JD: This is why you are healing me. KE: (Pause) No, little one. That is not why. JD: (Pause) Oh. (Puts down slime) Am I…am I going to be data again? Are you going to test my body? KE: (Puts face into hands)

“It’s bad!” Clark says with a watery smile, because Clark isn’t Superman at the moment—in Bruce’s home office, as private as a place as the world can get, Bruce is only Bruce, and Clark is only Clark.
When Black Canary had suggested that their debrief happen somewhere private where Clark felt safe, Bruce had known that there would be bad news. Still, he pours a mug of coffee that Clark will metabolize all the caffeine out of anyway, and pours a long, thick cup of the stuff for himself, and settles back into his warm leather chair.
“Tell me,” Bruce says, not quite Batman, but not quite Bruce either.
“Bruce, he ‘knows’ we’re going to make him fight. He thinks we’re healing him to be a child soldier.” Clark’s laugh is half joke and half derision. Bruce thinks that he understands. “He thinks we’re keeping him here as—like property, where if we pick up something dumped on the side of the road, we can fix it back up and put it to work. Like an engine, or, or…or like a lawnmower. It’s awful.”
Bruce skips the creamer and goes straight to the Baileys beneath his desk for garnishing.
On the one hand, Dick has been flying out in Gotham since he was a preteen. There had been no question about training him; training was the way one kept their children safe, the same way that Alfred had taught Bruce how to shoot as a child—no matter how much Bruce had loathed it at the time.
On the other hand, Jason’s death plays out in his nightmares in technicolor around…once every few months.
The fires. The flames.
(The alien boy found in a wrecked vehicle outside the Kent farmhouse, curled up in fear.)
Bruce thinks about Damian, and how long it had taken for Damian to understand he could be loved as a child who loved animals, and not a future prince of Gotham.
…Bruce passes the Baileys to Clark.

shadows and spirits, part two
azriel x reader reader is azriel's mate but she hasn't accepted the bond yet due to her fear of azriel himself.
tw: nsfw, smut, brief mentions of childhood trauma, edging, oral, restraint.
part one
a/n: holy shit y'all, azriel made me go feral with this one. enjoy ;)
“You won’t be able to stay away from him much longer,” Feyre teased. When one night stands and self-pleasure proved to be unsuccessful, Y/N gave up trying to satisfy herself altogether. Instead, ignoring the throbbing between her legs by staying as busy as she could – filling her days with extra shifts at the bar and frequent after-work drinks with Feyre.
“Shut up.” “That’s no way to speak to your High Lady,” She gasped, a hand on her chest in feigned shock.
Y/N scoffed, “Don’t you have places to be, my lady?”
She waved a hand, “What could possibly be more important than watching you try to ignore how frustrated you are?”
She rolled her eyes, “I’m fine,” she said through gritted teeth. Feyre gave her a look that said ‘sure you are’ but she didn’t bring it up again. The two spent the night drinking, Y/N listened as Feyre drunkenly ranted about Rhys and Nesta’s most recent topic of debate – and by debate, she meant they nearly mauled each other to death. Y/N couldn’t help the curiosity nagging at her.
“What’s he been doing?” She finally asked.
“Sulking. Brooding. The usual.”
Y/N nodded, for some reason she was unconvinced that the Spymaster hadn’t been up to anything.
“He doesn’t show it – much less say it – but your fear, it’s messing with him,” Feyre confessed.
She didn’t say anything, opting for another shot instead.
“He’s been waiting for a mate for five hundred years, Y/N. And he’s had a hard life. He shares your complaints about Illyrians because he was subjected to their cruelty just as you and your mother were. I know he can be intimidating but if you trust me at all, trust that you would be in good hands with him as your mate.”
They finally parted, a dangerous amount of alcohol in their systems as they walked off. Y/N stumbled her way to her apartment. She could’ve sworn the alleyway between the buildings were darker but she chalked it up to being drunk off her mind. When she finally reached her destination, she collapsed on her couch, exhausted. The alcohol had done a good job at dulling the incessant throbbing – so much so that she finally got a few hours of rest before dreams of a man entrenched in shadows, head between her legs, startled her awake.
Damn you, Shadowsinger.
She rubbed her thighs together, the images of her dream flashing before her eyes. A hand traveled down her stomach, trailing to the spot between her legs she was beginning to resent. She slipped her fingers underneath her panties, giving in to the nagging arousal as she worked the spot. His face flashed before her eyes and she cursed, removing her hands and sitting up. Y/N decided to take a cold shower, if only to punish herself for thinking of that damned Illyrian. Shadows shifted in the corner and she stilled. She had no idea how his shadows worked but she had a creeping suspicion he used them as his eyes and ears.
“What happened? Too scared to come and see me yourself so you send your shadows instead?” The shadows went still and Y/N thought maybe she had imagined their movement. She shook her head, and just as she was about to walk away, a tendril of shadow reached for her hand, reluctant to touch her but it looked curious. She reached out, fingertips brushing the shadow before it retreated through the cracks of her door, disappearing into the light.
After a long, scaldingly hot shower, Y/N decided to stay home for the day because of the pounding headache thanks to her and Feyre’s drinking session the night before. She sighed as she sunk into her bed, wearing only a fluffy bathrobe, content to lounge in bed the rest of the day. Unfortunately, someone had other plans. A knock at her front door startled her from her relaxed daze. She groaned, unwilling to get up and answer the door. Another knock, this time accompanied by a velvety voice.
“What happened? Too scared to come and face me?”
She muttered a curse under her breath and she stood, wrapping the robe just a little tighter around her body for good measure. She cracked the door open, just enough to peek through.
“What do you want, I’m in the middle of something.” He looked down at her, brows quirked up in amusement. He was holding a brown paper bag against his torso.
“In the middle of a bad hangover?” He motioned to the bag, “I have the world’s best cure, right here.”
She pulled the door open, ever so slightly, “I’m listening.”
“Let me in and it’s all yours.”
She considered his offer for a moment, lips twisted in silent contemplation. The two of them together, in a rather small apartment. Alone. What could possibly go wrong? “Fine – but no funny business. Keep your hands to yourself,” She pointed an accusing finger at him to which he responded with raised hands in mock surrender. She let him in, the door much too small to accommodate his tall frame and those absurdly large wings but he wiggled himself in anyway.
She snatched the bag from him and plopped down on the couch, not waiting for him to find a seat. She opened the bag and her mouth watered at the smell of the variety of greasy, fried foods he brought her. He must have seen the way her shoulders dropped in relief as she dug into the food, emitting a laugh from the normally stone faced man. She placed the bag on the table between them and pulled out the cartons of the fragrant food inside.
“What, I’m starving and hungover,” She said, in between bites. In the midst of her feast, she realized this was everything she’d usually order from Rita’s. Wedges of spicy fried potatoes, garlicky bites of chicken, and onion rings.
“You should drink some water,” He pulled a bottle of water from the bag.
She shook her head, “Nuh-uh, I’m not done yet.” His eyes narrowed, “Water. Now.”
Her eyes widened at the sudden change in tone, authoritative and stern (she didn’t want to admit it made her knees go weak and her stomach flutter). She reached to take the bottle from him but he pulled it back towards himself, causing her to stumble forward
“Dick,” She spat.
“If you want some, it’s right here,” He motioned downwards.
She leaned forward and snatched the bottle, taking a few dramatic gulps to ensure he wouldn’t pester her about drinking more later.
She sat back, hands over her stomach as she groaned, “I ate too much.”
He laughed, the corners of his eyes crinkling in a genuine smile. She hated to admit it but she was beginning to enjoy hearing his laugh – and being the reason behind it. His shadows swirled around him, some of them pulling away from him but not quite able to reach their desired destination.
“How do they work?” He quirked an eyebrow in question.
“The shadows.”
“Ah. They obey me,” He said with a nod, the shadows slithered over his form and across the room. They hovered over her legs as he watched.
She gave him a look, “Well I could see that. But are they – alive? Do they have a mind of their own? Or are they just an extension of you? Did you capture them or were you somehow born with them?” She rambled.
He smiled at her sudden interest in him and his shadows. The shadows returned to their master.
“They’re sentient – if that’s what you mean by alive. They can feel things, sense things to an extent. Sometimes they slip from under my control but it’s easy to reign them back in,” He paused, contemplating how to answer her other questions. “My father used to lock me up in the dark. I would talk to the shadows, to feel less alone. One day, I suppose, the shadows decided to talk back. They became a part of me, tied to my pain – insistent on protecting me, helping me,” He explained, he was looking down at his hands now. She winced at his confession, at the suffering he must have endured as a child.
“I’m sorry,” she said softly.
He smiled again, “Don’t be. It was centuries ago,” he waved off.
She held his gaze, entranced by those hazel eyes. She cleared her throat, suddenly aware of how close they were, only a small coffee table separating them.
“Thank you for the food,” She said, flustered under his gaze, “You didn’t eat anything–,” He cut her off before she could finish.
“I’m not hungry for food.”
She stilled. Her heart pounded in her ears. “I should go, I only wanted to make sure you were okay after you and Feyre drank your weight in alcohol,” He said. She sighed in relief.
“So you were spying on me!”
He shrugged, “You can’t expect me not to, especially if you’re drunk out of your mind.”
He stalked over to the door, wings tucked in tight to avoid bumping into anything.
“Don’t dream too much of me,” He said with a knowing smirk. She shoved him out the door and (semi) slammed it shut, exhaling as she slumped against the door.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Y/N tossed and turned in bed that night, unable to ignore the throbbing between her legs any longer. She sat up, thinking about the man who brought her food just a few hours ago. It wasn’t his dominating presence or his flirty comments that riled her up anymore – it was his vulnerability, his honesty. He confided in her, paid attention to the little details, made sure she was safe and taken care of. She peered at the corners of her room, looking for the shadows that writhed with life. When she spotted movement in the corner, she reached a hand out to it. The shadow moved like smoke, twisting and curling towards her outstretched hand, weaving in between her fingers. She giggled, it felt odd – the shadows weren’t solid, it felt almost like a cold breeze, she couldn’t quite grasp it but she could feel it there, real.
“I’m ready,” She spoke softly. The shadow twirled around her fingers before slipping out of the room to return to its master – eager to relay the news.
She sat in bed, knees to her chest as she waited anxiously for Azriel’s arrival. She heard the door unlock and saw the shadows pool into her room before he walked in. He looked at her with pure hunger in his eyes.
“I couldn’t sleep,” She confessed.
“I think I can help with that,” He stalked over to her, body pulsing with energy. She scooted back, making space for him on the bed.
“Don’t I have to feed you first? Feyre said–,” He grabbed her feet from under her, yanking to straighten her out onto the bed. The force caused her to fall back against the bed.
“I have all I need right here,” He kneeled at the edge of the bed while his hands trailed up her bare legs.
Heat rushed to her face as he left a trail of kisses down her stomach, making his way down to her thighs – and Oh. He nipped at the inside of her thigh, dangerously close to the pulsing heat of her core.
“Are you sure?” He asked, his breath tickling her skin as he looked up at her.
She nodded, “I accept you as my mate, Azriel.”
That was all he needed. Azriel ripped off her shorts and panties in one motion, shadows thrumming to life behind him as he devoured her. His mouth found her core, his tongue lapping at the wetness that had already formed. He chuckled, causing vibrations to shoot up Y/N’s spine.
“I haven’t even touched you and you’re soaking.” She whined in response. His tongue made a slow, tantalizing trail up her core before he settled on sucking that aching spot, instantly bringing her close to the edge. His hands roughly gripped the flesh of her thighs, keeping her spread open to his deliberations. She moaned his name, signaling how close she was to tipping over that blissful edge. He pulled away, causing her hips to buck up at the sudden interruption.
She whined, “Azriel?”
He placed gentle kisses moving up her stomach, hands roughly grabbing her breasts eliciting a gasp from Y/N. His tongue circled her left nipple before sucking on the gentle bud – electrifying her even further.
He pulled away, finally reaching her lips as he devoured her.
“Didn’t I say,” he broke the kiss, “that I would make you beg for mercy?” His lips returned to hers briefly, “that I would remind you of your obstinance?”
She looked up at him with wide eyes, unsure of what to say.
“Have you resigned to your fate?” She nodded.
“Good girl,” He whispered.
He pulled back from her, lifting his shirt off and sitting up to undo his pants. She swallowed as her eyes trailed down his body. He was made of pure muscle, tattoos black as night swirling across his torso made his muscular form even more prominent. Her eyes trailed down to his hips, licking her lips involuntarily.
“You’re drooling,” He said.
Her eyes shot back up to his, taking in the amusement written across his face.
“I was not,” She defended herself (rather pathetically). He only hummed, unconvinced and amused at the flustered girl before him.
She looked down at him once he finally revealed himself. Her eyes widened — in fear? Apprehension? She nervously wiggled her hips underneath him, unsure of how he could possibly fit.
“I don’t think—,” She was cut off by Azriel’s dangerously low voice. He leaned down, hot breath trailing up her neck, “You’re gonna take every inch like the good little slut that you are,” He whispered against her and then placed a few burning kisses behind her ear, causing her stomach to churn.
He smirked against her skin, pleased at how timid she suddenly became. He lined himself up against her, Y/N’s breaths now rapid in anticipation. He pushed himself forward, ever so slightly, allowing her to adjust to his tip. Her eyes rolled back at the sudden invasion, unable to control the lewd sounds that came out of her mouth. He pushed in deeper, drawing out another moan from the girl beneath him. She put a hand on his chest to stop him from going deeper, already overwhelmed with a wave of intense pleasure, it rolled through her core and nearly broke her. And this was just the beginning. He leaned his head down, lips finding sensitive spots on her jaw, her neck, trailing down to her collarbone while he waited for her to adjust. She clenched around him involuntarily, eliciting a snarl from the man. His shadows snaked up her legs, holding them apart as he sunk deeper. She gasped as he went deeper, inching closer and closer to her wall. She screamed out in pleasure, legs struggling against the shadows, hips bucking underneath him.
“Az! Please, it’s too much,” She gasped.
He hit her walls, pleased with her loss of composure. He pulled out and with a kiss on her lips, sunk right back in, all in one swift motion that had Y/N gasping for air. He continued to push into her as she writhed and moaned and clawed at him. Her brain had effectively shut off, the only thing she could feel, the only thing she could think about was his cruel, punishing cock pounding in and out of her.
“You were made to take all of me, you know that? The Cauldron created you, just for me,” He growled, punctuating his words with hard thrusts, “To be my plaything, my mate,” another thrust, “I bet you hate the idea of being bred but look at you, your cunt is milking my cock, going against everything you thought you believed in, desperate to be filled with my cum.”
She arched her back as he continued brutalizing her. Overwhelmed, she tried to push him off, give her space to breathe but he responded with shadows snaking up her arms, holding her against the bed, entirely at his mercy. She was fully restrained now, legs held wide apart, arms above her head. Her moans increased in pitch and pace, her body on the brink of total, ecstatic relief. A few tears slipped down her cheeks, Azriel kissed them away as he increased his rhythm. Her mouth agape, in a silent scream as he tore into her.
“Should I let you cum, hm?” He watched her intently, taking in every moan, every whimper, all the ways her face contorted in response to his hands on her body, his cock buried deep inside her.
“You’ve been such a good girl, taking me so well, and you’ve been on edge for weeks now,” He looked at her with a devilish grin. She whimpered.
“Beg for it, baby,” His voice was tauntingly soft. She scrunched her face, unable to make any sound let alone speak as he fucked her. He knew this as he slowed, bringing Y/N ever so slightly down from the high she could almost feel.
“No!” She called out desperately, “please, please Azriel. Don’t stop. I need to cum, please let me cum!” She screamed, her voice hoarse.
He picked up the pace again, rewarding her obedience.
“I’m sure that pretty mouth can do a lot better,” He chastised, “What do you need, Y/N, who do you need?”
“You! I need you Az, please! I need you to make me cum! Please, I’m begging you,” she pleaded.
“Who am I?”
When she didn’t answer, he pushed into her with an especially rough thrust.
“My mate!” She moaned in response.
“Who do you belong to?”
“You! Az, I belong to you!” Her voice strained as she inched painfully close to release.
He groaned as he picked up the pace, at this point Y/N saw stars, her teary eyes shut as Azriel’s final thrusts drove her over the edge, unable to make sound or focus on anything but the excruciating pleasure possessing her body. Her back arched as she panted through her orgasm. She felt a hot release inside her as Azriel groaned against her, his pace slowed and his body going taut as he finished too. The pleasure hadn’t stopped, it rolled through her like aftershocks of an earthquake, drawing out soft whimpers and moans.
“What do you say?” A hand gripped her chin.
“Thank you,” She said meekly.
He smiled and finally pulled out of her. His forehead resting against hers as their breaths came in and out. His arms snaked around her waist as he rolled them over to the side. His wings cocooning over her like a blanket, shadows resting lazily across their bodies. He kissed the top of her head as she snuggled into his chest.
“I’m gonna be so sore tomorrow,” She whimpered.
“Good. It’ll teach you not to mouth off or deny me of what’s mine ever again,” He chuckled against her.
She didn’t have the strength to reply with some witty comment, she merely snuggled in closer, basking in his warmth and drifting off to the most restful sleep she’d ever had.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Azriel woke up to his shadows lazily trailing over his mate’s bare body. He admired her sleeping form, grateful for the moment of peace before he was forced to head off to work. His shadows heard this thought, sulking against her body possessively, unwilling to leave her so soon.
I know, I don’t wanna leave her either.
The shadows tickling her skin caused her to stir but not quite enough to wake up. His face turned stern, the shadows begrudgingly returning back to their master. She’d need her rest for when Azriel returned so he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and hastily wrote a note to explain his absence. The shadows reluctantly followed as Azriel left her room, but they stopped in the kitchen — insistent on starting a pot of coffee to brew along with some sliced fruits they set out on a plate. Azriel chuckled lightly at the shadows' instant attachment and show of affection to his mate.
She’s mine, he teased.
He felt the shadows bounce against his chest, trying to knock him off balance. He shook his head, exiting the apartment with the shadows rushing to keep up behind him.

“Oh come on, Y/N! It’s literally one night!”
“Guys, I don’t know -”
“Omg just ignore her and drag her along! We’re going to be late!”
This is how you found yourself on a Friday night. You got off work but instead of going straight home, your lovely coworkers pressured you into going out with them. They claimed that you needed to ‘live a little’ since you can’t ‘be a miserable hobbit’ your entire life. They say that like it’s a bad thing! If you want to stay home, you will stay home. If you want to go out, you will go out on your own free will. Alas, your coworkers didn’t understand. Or they did. They just didn’t care about your boundaries nor your personal preferences, especially the leader of the extroverts.
Her name was Chelsea.
You honestly didn’t know how she was able to get hired. She doesn’t know anything about the company you both work at, she slacks off most of the time, and almost always engages in the freshest office gossip. She speaks like she’s texting someone, has an annoying giggle whenever a man hits on her, and never follows the dress code.
At least she takes responsibility for her fuck-ups and picks up the slack. And never throws you under the bus for anything.
Other than that, she was dumb as a rock.
You steered clear of her radar every day. You only talk to her, along with others, about work related things. The only time you don’t is when you give her the usual formal greetings. Other than that, you were never her concern.
Until today.
You honestly wished people would leave you alone. Why were they talking about you? You never did anything to them, didn’t snitch on them when they weren’t doing what they were supposed to do, and you were polite when you needed to be. So what’s with the sudden interest in you?
You were 24, lived alone (aside from the many figurines you owned. They were your children), and only went out if it was required. Other than that, you preferred to stay home. You weren’t interested in dating nor sex (you’ve been there, done that way back in high school) so you tended to stay away from men since they honestly scared you.
A lot.
If you wanted pleasure, you either took care of it yourself or you just left it alone. You didn't need anyone else to take care of it for you. But now back to the topic at hand.
You were trying to figure out ways to excuse yourself from this outing. The last place you wanted to go was a damn strip club. You didn’t need half naked to almost fully naked men thrusting and grinding in your face. And you certainly weren’t about to waste your precious hard earned dollar bills on someone else. It’s not that you were selfish or greedy.
You were simply frugal.
And according to Chelsea and your coworkers, that’s ‘super hella lame’ of you to do.
What were they? Newly oriented high school freshmen?
Alas, you couldn’t think of any excuse to get out of this ‘extraordinary adventure’ you were on. As you neared the entrance of the strip club, everyone had to go through an ID check. Some of them complained, but you didn’t mind. Rules are rules after all. When the bouncer landed on you, you felt intimidated by the sharpness of his wolf eyes. You shakily handed your ID to him and you were ready to be scrutinized by him. You were used to being mocked by bouncers whenever you went to clubs or high-end bars with your coworkers or your family members (i.e. cousins). Surprisingly, nothing came out of the bouncer’s mouth. Instead, he gave you back your ID and offered a warm and comforting smile that reached his eyes until they formed crescents. He then leaned in and whispered in your ear.
“If you need to find a way out, have the bartender page me. I’m sorry you were dragged out here by those… uh… lovely ladies.”
His deep and husky voice sent a small shiver down your spine and you couldn’t help but be flattered with the offer he gave you. You nodded rapidly and thanked him quietly before following the rest of the girls inside. At least someone understood how you felt, even if they were a complete stranger. When you got inside, the host led you to your table. You wanted to sit at the far end of the booth so you could make your escape (you were not about to turn down the hot bouncer’s offer), but your request fell on deaf ears. Instead, you were smack in the middle of your group with Chelsea seated to your left and someone else on your right. As soon as you were settled in, a waiter approached you. He seemed young and you couldn’t help but find his round cheeks so adorable.
“Hello. Welcome to Cyberpunk. My name is Jongho. I’ll be taking your orders tonight. What can I get started for you?”
“IS IT STILL GOLDEN HOUR RIGHT NOW?!”
An overly excited coworker screeched right into Jongho’s ear and you felt yourself cringe for him. Apparently, Golden Hour is what they call happy hour here. Good to know. Jongho laughed awkwardly and nodded before presenting the menu for Golden Hour. That same coworker practically clawed it out of his hands and thanked him shamelessly by running her manicured hand down his chest. You couldn’t stand it and reached over to grab her wrist.
“Leave the poor guy alone!”
Your angry hiss made your coworker shrink into herself but still had the audacity to roll her eyes at your sense of duty. As payback, she ordered drinks for everyone else but made sure to save the strongest drink for you. And she said this out loud. You sighed and sat back with your arms crossed while Jongho nodded and wrote the order down. Before he left, he looked at you with a grateful expression and mouthed something to you. You were confused at first, but then you looked in the direction of where the young waiter was nodding at and you saw the hot bouncer waving at you with his heavily ringed hand.
Oh.
Jongho was giving you the name of the hot bouncer that offered you an escape earlier.
His name is Mingi. Got it.
You made a mental note to remember that, along with the name of the bartender you needed to page Mingi for.
His name is Wooyoung. Got it.
After Jongho walked away to fulfill your order, you observed your surroundings while your coworkers were talking amongst themselves. It’s a shame that they didn’t talk to you, but you didn’t care. It was better this way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drink after drink. Shot after shot. And the cycle repeats. Your coworkers were astonished with the way you could handle your liquor. Even that nasty cocktail that you received made you feel nothing. If anything, you were only about five percent tipsy. As the night progressed, a lot of strippers made their way towards your booth and did what they needed to do. You weren’t interested in any of them. At all. You just wanted this night to be over. While the girls were fawning over the tallest stripper giving them lap dances (his name is Yunho), you saw Chelsea approach you with an evil look in her eyes and a mischievious grin on her overly painted lips. Before you could even question her intentions, she dragged you out of the booth and into a private dance room. The last words from your coworkers left you mortified.
“YAS, QUEEN! GET THAT DICK, SIS!”
This was not happening. You refused to believe it. Not only did they pay for you to experience a private dance with one of those greasy oiled up men, but they truly believed that you needed this. As Chelsea sat you down on the plush lavender couch, she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at you. Although, you couldn’t tell since her fake lashes were too thick to comprehend anything.
“We all chipped in for this dance. It could’ve been one of us, but we decided that you needed it the most. So like… don’t be yourself and weird him out, ok sweetie? Great! Have fun! Oh and provide us with juicy details once you’re done!”
She patted your head before exiting the room. You wanted to cry. You never asked for this. For any of this! You just wanted to go home, curl up on the couch, and watch reruns of your favorite k-dramas. But nope! You were here in a dimly lit room, anticipating who would come out. As the strange techno music played, you saw a figure approach the pole. Your eyes widened as you saw who it was.
The Mountain.
His seductive smile and the way he curled his fingers around the pole did nothing to quell your anxiety. You sat up straight and darted your eyes around towards every movement he pulled. Sure, you found him extremely fucking attractive, but you had to be honest with yourself. With the way you are and with the way you wanted nothing more than to escape, you wanted to shrink into the couch you were sitting on and just fade into non-existence. He noticed it at first but thought nothing of it. He believed that your shyness was just an act. Soon, you’ll pounce on him and beg for him to take you. That’s how it always was with women like you. However, he was in for a shocking awakening when he slid down the pole and tore away his shirt, leaving his muscular upper body bare. As he crawled towards you, he was getting closer to your legs, which you shut tightly. It didn’t last long before his strong hands grabbed your knees and forced them open. You shut your eyes when his nose touched the side of your right knee, almost nuzzling it in a way. He soon dragged it upwards before stopping just at the hem of your pencil skirt. He then stood up fully and looked down at you.
This is where the hesitation began.
He looked down at your rigid form and the way you screwed your eyes shut. His gut told him to stop, but he pushed through. He bent down and whispered huskily in your ear. The action had you open your eyes wide and look straight at him, which was a mistake since he was so close to your face.
“Don’t be shy, kitten. Come on. Touch me.”
Not waiting for your response, he gingerly grabbed your wrist and made sure your palm was flat against his broad chest. He kept eye contact with you as he slowly slid your hand down to his abs. The pace was snail-like and you found yourself shaking. Your anxiety was at an all time high. When you felt your wrist stop at the hem of his jeans, your eyes widened even more. You retracted your hand and cradled it like he had broken it. You muttered so many apologies as you curled into yourself even more.
Oh… he felt his heart break at the sight.
A sigh left his lips as he turned around and walked away. You were panicking internally, thinking the worst. What if he had Mingi kick you out? What if he told the owner of this strip club to blacklist you? What if he snitched on you to your friends and sneered at the way you trembled before him? And not in a good way. The anxiety died down a bit when the lights came on and you saw him walk back to you. He knelt before you and had an unreadable expression on his face. He then stuck out his hand and spoke in an authoritative voice.
“Let me see your ID.”
You immediately thought to yourself that he was simply following protocol. However, it didn’t help that his seemingly angry look unnerved you. You dug into your pocket and fished out your ID before slapping it into his waiting palm. He held it up to his face and narrowed his eyes as he scanned over the details of it.
‘It doesn’t look fake right?’
‘It’s as real as it can get.’
‘You probably should’ve brought your passport just in case.’
‘Oh shit he’s looking back at you! Fuck!’
As he gave you back your ID, he helped you stand up. The look on his face melted into one of concern and compassion. He gingerly grabbed your hand and rubbed your knuckles with his thumb.
“Can I hug you? I understand if you don’t want to be touched, but I can tell you need it.”
That’s all it took for you to break down in his arms. He shushed you gently and made sure his hold on you was tight enough to provide a sense of comfort for you. He walked the both of you towards the couch and held onto you until you decided to pull away. You looked up at him and sniffled. As much as he found that action to be utterly cute, he knew it wasn’t the time to address that. He gently wiped away your tears and put some distance in between you two. However, he still had his arms wrapped around you. You didn’t mind it of course. You were just glad someone empathized with you.
“I’m guessing this is just your personality. Your ID checks out and from what you’re wearing, you definitely are of age.”
“Y-Yeah. I’m sorry if this is how you’re spending your night. I’m s-sure you weren’t expecting someone like me.”
“It’s ok. I think this is a good change of pace. If it helps, we can simply talk. I know you don’t want to be here and I apologize for making you uncomfortable.”
“It’s ok. And yeah… I would love to talk.”
“Great. Let me start by introducing myself. I’m San.”
“Y/N.”
“Pretty name for a pretty girl.”
Your light-hearted giggle made his heart soar and soon, he found himself in a deep conversation with you. You two talked about everything. From the basics down to you willingly explaining how your current personality came to be. And San listened tentatively. After talking some more, you checked the time.
“Oh shit! My two hours are up! I’m sorry for holding you here longer than I should have.”
“Don’t worry about it. I enjoyed talking with you.”
“Really?”
San nodded and gave you an award winning smile. One that showcased his dimples and was similar to Mingi’s but brighter. After the both of you stood up, he gathered his things and stared at you affectionately. His gaze made you blush and you looked away. He gently grabbed your chin so he could look at you.
“If you want, there’s a ramen place next door that’s open 24/7. Once this place closes up, we can chat some more. Or… I can take you home, either by calling an uber for you or driving you home myself. After what you told me, I don’t feel comfortable leaving you with your coworkers.”
You swore you fell in love with him.
“Actually, I would love that. I sort of need something to absorb all the alcohol that’s in my body.”
“Great! In the meantime, go speak with Hongjoong. He’s the owner of this place. Explain your situation with him and he’ll let you stay in his office for the time being. I still have work to do.”
After accepting his offer, he walked you towards his boss’s office. A short man came out and he was immediately about to interrogate you when you held your hands up in defense. The last thing he needed was to file a case for harassment. As you explained yourself, his form grew less rigid and he looked towards San, who gave a nod of confirmation, indicating that you were speaking the truth.
“Oh, darling… here. You can stay in my office. Do whatever you need to do. I’ll have Mingi fetch you once this is over.”
“Thank you, Mr. Kim.”
“Please. Call me Hongjoong.”
You nodded shyly and Hongjoong patted your head before walking out of his office so you could get comfortable. San looked at you one last time before leaving to continue his job. He didn’t want to leave you there alone, but he knew you needed space to breathe and gather your bearings. After all, you went through a lot.
TIME SKIP
It had been some time since that horrible outing with your coworkers. Sure, you met some angels and your savior along the way, but the events leading up to that moment left you drained. After that night, you didn’t speak with Chelsea or any of your coworkers. Instead, you worked faster and more diligently than before so you could clock out early and go home immediately. You did not want to interact with any of them whatsoever. As soon as you reached home, you flopped on the couch.
“Aww. You didn’t want to greet me? That makes me sad.”
“Shut up, San!”
San giggled at your sassy voice as he walked over to you and sat on the couch beside you. He lifted your head so you could lay on his lap. As he ran his fingers through your hair and massaged your scalp, you talked about how your day went.
Did I mention that you two were roommates now?
Ever since you met San, he’s been a comforting presence in your life. You asked him to move in with you since you felt at ease with him. One thing led to another and the two of you were now a couple. It was awkward at first since you haven’t dated anyone in the longest, but San was patient with you. He took things at your own pace and made it less awkward. He still works at the strip club unfortunately, but he reassures you that he will always come back to you since you have his heart.
“As I motherfucking should!”
That was always your response to him and he could never get tired of it. As the relationship progresses, you slowly find yourself coming out of your shell. You no longer feel overly shy whenever he walks around shirtless or whispers sensual words in your ear as he flirts with you. Instead, you play along and even tease him sometimes. That’s an effect only San can bring unto you. In addition, he taught you how to be more confident and stand up for yourself.
His hard work paid off when you told him about how you told your boss about how you felt with your coworkers.
You came back into the office feeling nervous yet invigorated. You needed to put a stop to your coworkers peer pressuring you into going out. You also needed to stop caring about what they might say. As San has stated to you despite being only in tight jeans with dollar bills peeking out from the top, if you liked staying in, then stay in. You knocked on the CEO’s front door and heard her honeyed voice telling you to come in. When you entered, your eyes landed on your CEO boss, who was also your long time best friend. “Hey. What’s up, Y/N?” She smiled that beautiful smile and you felt relieved momentarily. “Um… we need to talk, Ms. Hwasa.”
“I thought I told you to call me by my real name. After all, we have been friends for seven years.”
“Sorry, Hyejin.”
“It’s ok. Anyways, what did you need to talk about?”
It was now or never.
Slowly but surely, you vented about everything. From your coworkers to Chelsea all the way to the main topic: disrespecting boundaries. You also explained how you were afraid of what she might say despite vowing to always have your back. Of course you didn’t doubt her words. You were simply afraid of her brushing you off like you were nothing more than another employee. When you finished speaking, Hwasa had her eyebrows furrowed in deep thought. Finally, she spoke.
“Thank you for telling me this. I honestly didn’t think they would be dumb enough to forget common sense. Set a meeting right now. I think I need to remind these women of how everything works around here.”
“Yes, ma’am!”
Hwasa laughed slightly as you saluted before turning around and marching back to your cubicle. A couple of hours later, a lot of employees were in a meeting room, standing nervously as they watched their CEO pace back and forth whilst looking at them with an unreadable expression. You were in the middle of the crowd, pretending to be nervous, but in reality, you were playing it cool.
“It seems to me that you guys keep forgetting about the one thing I wanted all of you to have.”
Oop -
“Common courtesy.”
A lot of your coworkers were sweating nervously, including Chelsea. You felt bad for them a little bit since you know Hwasa to be strict.
“Just because someone doesn’t like the things that you do after work doesn’t mean you have the right to change their dynamics. We are all different here. And yet, we still work well together. So please. The next time you want to take someone away from their comfort bubble, think twice before doing so. Either do nothing about it or do something about it the right way. Ask first! That’s always a requirement. If they say yes, then there you go. If they say no, then no means no! Do we have an understanding?”
Everyone nodded.
“In addition, I am putting a stop to the unnecessary gossip swimming around here. The people you gossip about? They have done nothing to you and they don’t do that to you. So why do it to them in the first place?”
It was a rhetorical question that no one dared to answer.
“This meeting is adjourned. Get back to work.”
“Yes, Ms, Hwasa!”
Everyone scattered and scurried back to their places. Hwasa looked at you and smiled while you profusely thanked her.
“You can go home now if you want. I know your boy toy misses you.”
“Girl, shut up!”
“And that’s what happened!”
“I’m so proud of you for standing up for yourself.”
San sat you up and hugged you tightly. You returned the hug happily and remained in his arms for a while before he pulled away. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes as he stood up from the couch.
“This calls for a celebration. Time to give you that private dance you originally signed up for.”
Oh…
OH!
Before you could protest, San turned on the stereo system and played the track before standing in the middle of the living room to begin his routine.
‘SHIT! WHY THIS SONG?!’
‘THIS SONG IS A BOP THOUGH!’
‘YEAH BUT NOW LOOK AT THE SITUATION YOU’RE IN!
‘JUST RELAX, BITCH! DAMN!’
You watched as San performed his routine perfectly. It catered to the song and you found yourself drooling as you leaned in to observe him more. San smirked at this as he jumped and did a diving move before crawling towards you. Your legs were open for him and he came in between them, nuzzling his nose into both of your inner thighs before slowly standing up. He gingerly grabbed your hand and took off his shirt before placing your palm on his broad chest.
DID HE GET BIGGER?! WHAT THE FUCK?!
You watched your hand slowly trail down to his abs until your wrist stopped at the top of his sweats. It was then you noticed how low they hung on his hips. You looked back up to see him lean in closer, his eyes dark with lust and desire. His other hand cupped your cheek and he used his thumb to drag your bottom lip down slowly.
“Can I have you for tonight, kitten?”
You were not about to pass up on the opportunity to ride that dick into the sunset. With a small ‘yes’ leaving your mouth, he kissed you passionately before grabbing your waist and carrying you to your shared bedroom.

s o l o n g , l o n d o n
Includes : Aaron Hotchner
Genre : Angst
Warnings : Mentions of break downs, drinking, mentions of depression symptoms, not proof-read
Based On : So Long, London by Taylor Swift
Part two : All My Ghosts
You swore that you loved me but where were the clues?
I died on the altar waiting for the proof
You sacrificed us to the gods of your bluest days
“Haley wants us to get back together.” Upon hearing those words, her heart dropped. She realized why Hotch asked her to come on this ‘date’. She thought he was finally going to ask her to make whatever they were official, but she now knew he just wanted to let her down easy.
“What?” She asked. She could feel the tears pooling in her eyes, her view of Hotch blurry and distorted. Though she couldn’t see very well, she could see the pity and regret written on his face.
“She wants us to try to be a family again.” She took a second to process his words.
“And, what did you say?” She knew the answer, but she needed to hear it from him.
“I said yes.” He watched the tears fall from her eyes. “I had to, for Jack. For my family. We both knew this wasn’t a sure thing, Y/N. I’m your boss, and our jobs are dangerous enough, this wasn’t going to work.” He was right. Since she started at the BAU, she developed a crush on her slightly older, and incredibly intimidating boss. She would’ve never thought he felt the same towards her, and she was constantly teased by her fellow profilers about it, until he asked her out on the way home from a case. She was elated. They went on a couple dates, and she was sure they were going great. Until now.
“And Haley gave you the out. Instead of telling me, you led me on,” she choked on her sobs. She reached for her purse, preparing herself to leave Aaron Hotchner and her heart along with him. “Go back to your family, Hotch. And don’t worry, I’ll pretend like nothing ever happened.”
And I'm just getting color back into my face
I'm just mad as hell cause I loved this place
The team was shocked and confused when Y/N took a two-week leave of absence. She left without telling anyone or saying where she was going, she didn’t even tell Hotch, going straight to Strauss and asking for her leave, using the ‘family emergency’ excuse. They were even more surprised when she returned, acting as if she hadn’t just left without a word.
She could feel their eyes on her the minute she entered the briefing room. She sat down, chin high, eyes forward, not daring to look any of them in the eye for fear they would see through her facade.
Hotch’s eyes burnt a whole in her head. They hadn’t talked, interacted even, since that night. And while she was going to be profesional, she didn’t want him thinking he broke her heart, even if he did.
“Y/N, good to see you back.” JJ was the first to address her, the first to break the silence. She gave JJ a smile, and turned to look at the file sitting in front of her, keeping to herself throughout the briefing.
⊹˚₊‧───────────‧₊˚⊹
The team had moved the briefing onto the jet, the case being of a serial killer who was quickly devolving. The profilers all noticed their fellow coworker and friend’s strange behavior, her demeanor entirely different to the one she wore before her leave. She wouldn’t indulge conversation with the others, always directing the topic onto the case. The agents had also picked up on Hotch’s behavior; how his eyes would linger on Y/N for a little too long, and how he avoided referencing the woman.
Emily was growing even more concerned for her friend as the minutes passed, and when she saw her heading to the front of the jet for coffee, she quickly followed. “Hey,” she alerted Y/N of her presence, turning and closing the curtains to give them some privacy.
“Hi,” she gave a tight-lipped smile, moving to go back to her seat before Prentiss grabbed her arm.
“What’s going on?” She saw her friend’s face harden, her eyes moving to her feet.
“Nothing,” she knew better than to try and pretend like nothing was wrong around a bunch of profilers, but she couldn’t admit to herself that hers and Hotch’s break up was taking a toll on her. She was skinnier and paler, and was clearly struggling with something. But she couldn’t even call whatever happened between them a break up; they were only going out for a month and they hadn’t even told the rest of the team. So, sticking to her word, she would continue to act as though nothing happened.
“Oh, come on, you know I don’t believe that.” Emily dropped her grip on the girl’s shoulder, moving to fiddle with the coffee cups on the table. “Something’s going on. We all see it. You don’t have to talk about it, but, I want you to know we’re all here for you.” She saw tears pooling in the younger girl’s eyes, and her concern grew and her heart broke and all she wanted was for her to be okay. “You can talk to us. You can talk to me, or JJ, or even Hotch.” At the mention of his name, she broke. Her tears ran down her face, and sobs racked her body.
Emily hurried to hug her friend, shocked at her sudden breakdown. She heard the curtain being pulled, and turned to the sight of the team’s concerned eyes on the pair. But, she made sure to watch Hotch, noticing his own eyes becoming glossy at the sight of the crying agent.
For so long, London
Had a good run
A moment of warm sun
But I'm not the one
She sat on her couch, drowning her sorrows with a bottle of wine. Emily, JJ, and Penelope had just left her apartment after a night spent of crying and laughing, the women comforting her after she had confided in them about all that happened with Hotch.
She felt better, but not great. Her heart still hurt every time Haley and Jack came to visit Hotch during his lunch break, and she kept having to excuse herself to the bathroom whenever she was around him for too long. The team pretended not to notice the tension between her and Hotch, and they both refused to acknowledge each other unless it referenced their work or a case they worked.
Everyone knew something happened between them, and they knew their friend was not okay, so they pushed past it in hopes of nursing their friend back to happiness. She was incredibly grateful for all their friends were doing for her, but it wasn’t enough.
Nobody knew that she had just given Strauss a request for a transfer from the Bureau; none of the others knew, all but one person. The same person who’s name lit up on her phone, his calls going unanswered as she sipped on her glass of wine.

Unworthy (2)
Summary: Thor doesn’t think you‘re a good friend to his brother.
Pairing: AU!Thor Odinson x fem!Reader, AU!Loki Laufeyson x fem!Reader (platonic/best friends)
Warnings: past addiction, mentions of drug abuse/addiction (Loki), angst, classism, Thor being an ass, BBF trope, mentions of spiked drinks
Catch up here: Unworthy (1)
Unworthy masterlist
“Stop her then, son. If she told you the truth, we should find out more about what happened,” Odin feels like he just threw his daughter out of his house. “I shouldn’t have listened to you. Why did I not double-check your information.”
“Husband, not now,” Frigga places her hand on Odin’s shoulder. “Do not make another mistake. Maybe she is innocent, but we need to investigate further first. Thor, follow her. She’s the best source of information.”
“Right,” Thor huffs but turns to follow you. “I’m not sure she told me the truth. Some people have the ability to sell you any lie.”
Thor walks away to follow you. He easily catches up on you with his long legs and determined steps. “Wait—” He calls your name. It’s more an order than a request.
You move toward the exit, ignoring Thor walks next to you. “I said wait.”
“What else do you want to accuse me of?” You stop for a moment to glare up at Thor. “Maybe I sold drugs to Loki, huh? Maybe I was the one getting him addicted. Just leave me alone, Odinson.”
“If the guy spiked your drink there should be a police report…right?” He cocks a brow. Thor is not as good as his father at reading people, but he can see the fear in your eyes when the memories of that night come back.
“My friend called the cops after bringing me to the hospital. I gave a statement, and they promised me that he wouldn’t get away with what he did to me. I believed them,” you laugh bitterly.
“What happened?” He steps closer to tower over you. Thor is intimidating, with his sheer size and figure dwarfing you, but you won’t cower in front of him.
“What always happens,” you shrug and try to balance the box in your hands at the same time. “He came from a good family with old money. My words against his. I was the outsider allowed to walk their holy halls because of a scholarship.”
“That’s awful,” Thor sucks in a breath. If what you’re telling him is true, he understands that you always despised him, the golden son having it all. He never had to work for anything.
“It didn’t matter that my friend, the doctor, and the nurse gave a statement too. They tried to pressure me into taking my statement back, but I refused,” you sniff, and look away. “I didn’t matter, though. He got away with it because his parents knew the right people. Suddenly my test results were gone, and the guests at the party didn’t remember shit. I was lucky to not lose my scholarship. If we are done here, I’d love to leave this shitty place.”
Thor doesn’t stop you when you walk away from him. He has a lot of information to stomach. Thor hopes you’re just a good liar, and he was right about you. But he has a hunch that every word you said was true.
“That’s all, huh?” Hela looks up from her laptop to glare at Thor. He thumbs through the papers and pictures on Hela’s desk. “You didn’t find more?” He asks.
“Stop nagging,” she snaps at him. “You should thank me instead of moping. I got the statement from her friend and the doctor. The nurse withdrew her statement right after she bought a brand-new car.”
“Sounds fishy,” Hogun grumbles. It wasn’t in his plans to sneak around your apartment and follow you around town. “I don’t think the sweet girl is a criminal mastermind. All she did was to buy groceries and look for a new job.”
“Hey, it’s still my turn,” Hela glares at Hogun. “We wanted to talk about her past before we get to the present and future. A shame I didn’t get the chance to interrogate her.” She smirks at her brother. “I bet the sweet girl would’ve been putty in my hands.”
Thor curls his upper lip. “What did you find out?”
Hela leans back in her chair and crosses one leg over the other. She takes her time to inform her brother.
“I found more questions than answers. But I can tell you that the guy spiking Y/N’s drink is a piece of shit. Over the years his parents tried to cover all the shit he pulled. Luckily, they did not succeed. He crossed one too many lines and they turned their back on him.”
“Interesting,” Thor grabs one of the pictures taken at the hospital. You look scared and his heart hurts seeing the tears run down your cheeks. “Anything else?”
“No well done from you?” She huffs. “Always the same with you and father.” Hela snaps at her brother. “I tried to talk to his parents, but they refused to talk about the incident with Y/N. If you ask me, their son did exactly what Y/N said.”
“Says who…?” Thor questions. He’s still not convinced that you told him the truth and that you are innocent. If so, he’d be the worst person ever for ruining your career and friendship with his brother.
“How is he? Where is he?” You pant heavily as you try to find Loki. “Duke, where is he?” You ask Loki’s sponsor. “Duke!”
“He’s in a bad condition,” Duke’s features soften at your worried look. You’re out of your mind because Loki’s AA sponsor called you in the middle of the night. What if Loki is relapsed or is injured?
“Did he have a relapse?” You clasp your hands together to silently pray Loki didn’t do anything stupid because of what happened. “Duke?”
“No,” Duke shakes his head. “He needs you. Loki asked for you the whole time. I didn’t want to call you, but he wouldn’t stop. He’s vulnerable, Y/N.”
“I need to see him.”
“Loki’s inside my office,” Duke gently pats your shoulder. “Take all your time, Y/N. If you need a ride home, I’ll drive you.”
“Loki?” You walk inside the office, heart lurching in your chest. Loki sits on the ground. His long legs stretched out, and his head hanging. “Darling?”
“Y/N,” he murmurs but doesn’t look at you. Loki believed you gave up on him. Thor, his father, and Frigga didn’t tell him the whole truth. When one of your co-workers told him that you got fired and showed him the pictures Loki knew, Thor did this to you to get you out of his life.
“Hey, beautiful,” you sit down next to Loki and wrap one arm around his shoulders. “How’s my pretty boy tonight?”
“Not good,” he leans his head against your shoulder and sighs. “I almost fucked up again, Y/N. I was bad tonight. I…I…” he sniffles and wrings his hands. “I almost bought the poison.”
“Did you buy it?”
“No.”
“Good. See, you’re stronger than you thought,” you peck his hair. “I knew you could do it, Loki.”
“Why didn’t you tell me about your job and my brother?” He murmurs. “I could’ve helped you.”
“Your brother is an asshole, you know that” you try to cheer Loki up while your world still lies in ruins. “He tried to find something to hold against me and succeed. It’s not the end of the world to lose a job, darling. I’ll find something soon.”
“Hmmm…” Loki thoughtfully hums. “Maybe I can lend you some money.”
“I got spared money, Loki. I’m not your friend because of your money, darling.”
“You are my friend because of my good looks, right?” Relieved that you are not angry at him for the things his family did, Loki sighs.
“I’m your friend because I love you, darling,” you pat his thigh. For a moment you are both silent. “So, you came here for a meeting?”
“Three,” he says. “I’m sorry Duke had to call you.”
“I told you a long time ago that you can always call me, Loki. Day or night,” you softly say. “Did you eat today, darling?”
His growling stomach answers your question. “Not much,” Loki admits. “I wasn’t in the mood for food.”
“That was the most awful rhyme I ever heard,” you laugh. “Come on, darling. I’ll take you home and we can eat my leftovers.”
“You want to take me home?” He purrs. “You can’t wait to get your hands on me, huh? I bet you waited for me to call.”
“You’re a little bitch, Loki Laufeyson.”
“I love you too, Y/N…”
You watch Loki’s chest rise and fall. Still worried about your friend you didn’t leave his side.
Finally at peace after hours of suffering and self-hatred, he sleeps peacefully on your bed.
He greedily stuffed your leftovers into his mouth and even burped because you wanted him to eat dessert too.
You talked for half the night, assuring him that his father and brother can do whatever they want to. You will stand by Loki’s side. Whether they like it or not.
“If you don’t stop yelling at me I’ll hang up,” you snarl into the phone. “I only called to tell you that Loki is safe and didn’t have a relapse. He’s asleep and I’ll drive him home after he had breakfast.”
Thor yells into the phone. He throws profanities at you while his sister watches him with amusement. She chuckles and listens to your explanation. “Thor, calm down. She took good care of him.”
“You don’t have a say in this,” Thor grunts. “She gets fired and then…” He growls and grunts while you listen to his rant.
“Are you done?” You ask. “I’m going to hang up now. I don’t want to wake Loki. He needs his sleep after everything he’s gone through last night. If you need to know more, ask his sponsor who called me, knowing I’ll be the one getting Loki out of the hole he fell into once again.”
You hang up, already regretting that you called Loki’s family. All you wanted to do was make sure they won't worry all night because he didn’t come home.
You harrumph and walk back inside your living room to switch through the channels. Sleep is out of the question after the call. Thor once again made you furious, and you hate the feeling.
Next time he dares to show his face, you’ll knee his balls and give him a piece of your mind…

DEAREST CHILD
dimitrescu family x platonic! gn reader
synopsis : though you’re human, the castle of dimitrescu and its remaining residents will always, always be your home.
“It’s for me!”
“Ugh, all of us know it’s for me, you brainless maniac!”
“You all are stupid, the flower crown is obviously for me!”
The bickering of the three infamously known daughters of Lady Dimitrescu could be filled the silence that once took over the garden as they fought over a precious flower crown.
In the middle of the argument was you who stood there sheepishly with the flower crown in hand, looking at all your siblings as they fought. You nervously eyed the flower crown as the three daughters continued to tug on it.
“I can just make a new one, guys, please.” You nervously said before the unthinkable (not really) happened.
The force tugged onto the flower crown was unfortunately too strong to the point where it ripped into three parts, petals of the flower scattering into the air as everyone stared at the now destroyed pieces, stunned. The three daughters eyed each other before looking at you nervously.
Before they could mutter an apology, you laughed at the absurdity of the situation. Tears formed in the corner of your eyes as you continued to bark out a laughter that would definitely not get your mother’s approval with how loud and boisterous it was. Bela, Daniela and Cassandra looked at each other as if not knowing what to do.
After a few minutes of calming down, you let out a soft chuckle before gently taking away the broken pieces from your sibling’s hands. “Here, how about I make a new one for each of you using these pieces? That way, you all have a part of the original. Sounds good?”
The daughters would’ve been lying if they didn’t feel a strange warmth overcome them as you smiled at them with a fondness that no one other than Alcina gave. It wasn’t the usual warmth that took over them whenever they went hunting, but rather a sense to protect you from any harm instead.
As you started working on the flower crowns for each sibling, Bela, Daniela and Cassandra now eyed each other as if knowing what they were all thinking about.
You were their precious sibling and no one would harm you, not when they and their mother, Alcina, is still here.
Alcina nervously walked through the corridors of her castle, wondering where her children could be. As she continued to strut across the hallways, the Lady noticed something from the corner of her eyes through the window and stopped her movement, halting to take a closer look.
From the window, was a scenery which could only be described as peaceful.
You surrounded by the three psychotic daughters of Dimitrescu, your siblings, as you chatted and laughed with the three girls while your fingers skillfully made flower crowns. A strangely calm look could be found on all the girls as they laughed with you even if they were still covered in blood. Daniela smiled with great happiness as you gently placed a flower crown onto her head while Bela and Cassandra eyed her with envy, but also fondness.
Alcina watched her daughters with a gaze that was soft unlike her usual intimidating glare. Her eyes averted to the three girls before wandering her eyes towards you.
Unlike all the others, you weren’t born from the Cadou project nor were you born a mutant. You were human, from bones to flesh. You were a fragile piece of glass for them. A being that they could easily rip apart.
Yet you were different from other human beings that existed in this village. Rather than violence, you greeted them with kindness. The Dimitrescu family were feared by you, of course, but you didn’t resort to violence. When one of the girls had somehow gotten injured and ended up in the middle of the forest, you found her while picking berries nearby. You had been the one to patch up her wounds and bring her to the Castle of Dimitrescu.
You didn’t steal anything nor did you try to vandalize the castle. You simply asked Bela to guide her to her room, which she hesitantly did, gently place her onto her bed and quietly left the castle.
When Bela reported the incident to Alcina, of course the Lady found it strange and had made it her mission to seek what you truly wanted from them. She thus asked Bela to pretend like she was injured and wait for you at the forest while Daniela and Cassandra stay on the sidelines to be ready for any suspicious movements.
Once again, you found her, treated her ‘wounds’ and kindly tried escorted her to the castle. Not before getting stopped by Cassandra, Daniela and Alcina, however, who confronted you as Bela stopped her act. Though you were honestly scared for your life, you bravely stood your point and told the truth of how you had no ulterior motives behind your act.
You were just.. kind.
A kind soul too pure for this village, this world.
After that, the House of Dimitrescu somehow grew a soft spot for you. You got the permission to visit the castle as you wish and actually come out alive. Bela helped you pick berries from time to time, Daniela helped you pick up some self-defense techniques (which you were thinking not to use with how… unkind they were) and Cassandra accompanied you to your daily trips to the nearby swamps whenever you felt like getting some fresh air.
And Alcina. Every time she watched her daughters interact with you and grow closer to you, a human, she felt her heart clenching. She shouldn’t grow fond of you, she couldn’t. As Countess Dimitrescu, one of the four great lords who served Mother Miranda, growing fond of a human being should’ve been the least of her priorities.
Yet the more time you spent at the Castle Dimitrescu, the more she found herself relaxing in your presence. You were never as close with Alcina as you were with the three daughters, always finding yourself cowering under her gaze. Yet you still managed to find the guts to talk to her, your sheepish smiles and painfully awkward small talks made Alcina, oh so, terribly fond of you.
Your small gifts that would be worthless compared to her luxurious jewelry became more precious to Alcina. A bracelet made out of scraps of colorful paper, a lipstick made out of natural resources and decorated with beautiful flowers. Gifts that were made out of nothing, but effort.
It was only a short amount of time till Alcina saw you as her own.
One of her children.
“Mother!”
A yell from the garden snapped Alcina out of her thoughts. She looked out the window, her children now noticing her presence and motioning her to come over.
The person who called out for her was you who waved at her while laughing, eyes crinkling with happiness. Alcina couldn’t help, but to smile back and raised her hands in a more elegant wave.
My precious children, she thought.
How she’d do anything to protect her kin.

Feeling Better
Hazbin TK fic
Lee!Alastor, Lers! Husk and Niffty
Everything in this fic is platonic
Soft and caring Husk :]
CW: Alastor in the bath, but everything is covered and nothing NSFW happens, angst as per usual in my fics at this point, mention of blood, mention of scars and past trauma (brief)
Spoilers
Summary: Alastor, while quite the dapper gentlemen, smells like swamp and deer carcass, as that is what his bedroom is. After some back and forth, his companions decide to take it upon themselves to take care of the issue (and take care of him)
Edit: I dont think this was my best work
It was no secret that Alastor wasn't the cleanest person. He turned his bedroom into a swamp to feel more at home, and often left blood stains from his meals on his suit, leaving it to rot and smell.
However, what many people didn't know, is that he also wasn't the best at keeping up with hygiene. Something that only Husk and Niffty knew about him was that he despised bathing. They didn't know why, they just knew that he did.
And they put up with it.. For as long as they could.
As Alastor sat at the bar, Husk found himself scrunching up his nose. To be polite, he made sure no one was listening first, then he turned to his boss, ears down. "Jesus, Al, when's the last time you bathed?" The radio host stared at Husk, trying to intimidate him, but for once, Husk wasn't budging. "I'm serious, Alastor. Not only does it reek, but I'm sure you don't feel good either. Right?"
This caught him off guard. He wasn't used to people other than Charlie showing him genuine concern. His smile remained as normal, but the folding of his ears seemed to give away how he was feeling. "I'll admit it has.. been a while."
Husk nodded and leaned against the counter. "Then maybe you should do something about it?" He asked, raising a brow. The other demon seemed to go quiet. Husk studied him, as if trying to read his mind. "Maybe... We can do something about it then? Niff and I?"
As if summoned by the mere mention of her name, Niffty appeared out of seemingly nowhere, hopping up onto the counter. "You know you can trust us, Alastor! I like cleaning!" She grinned.
"And you know I'm not going to judge or tell anyone." Husk said, looking him in the eye. Alastor thought it over for a moment. Niffty and Husk were two out of a small select group of people he genuinely trusted the most. "Fine." He shrugged, trying to make it appear as if there wasn't a growing sense of unease and anxiety sinking into his stomach.
Husk nodded. "Niffty, why don't you go ahead and go run the bath for Al. Use my room, I don't trust that he even has a tub in his." Niffty gave a quick salute then hopped down from the counter, running off.
Husk turned his attention back to Alastor, lowering his voice. "Is there a reason you don't like bathing, Al?" He asked, catching the demon off guard. "Why Husker, what makes you ask such a silly little-" "Don't think you can fool me, I saw the way you froze earlier. Al, you might own my soul, and you might scare the shit out of me sometimes, but I don't hate you," this surprised Alastor, "I'm only asking so I know how to go about this properly. If there's something about it that bothers you, I don't want to force you into it."
Alastor looked back at Husk for a solid minute, thinking it over. He stood suddenly and started to walk toward the hallway, where Husk's room was, signaling the other to follow, which he did. Once they were alone, Alastor finally spoke.
"What I'm about to tell you does not leave that silly little kitty mouth of yours, understood? If I find out that-" "You have my word, Alastor, you don't have to threaten it out of me." ".....Right. Well- Thank you.. Husk."
It wasn't often that Alastor used his actual name instead of 'Husker,' but when he did, the cat felt a sense of equality between them. No longer 'Owner of Soul and Servant,' but like they knew each other. All the more reason he decided to take this issue seriously, for Alastor.
"While I was alive, let's just say I've been through a lot. In my life, over many years, and many incidents, I acquired many scars. Reminders. Let's just say I do not enjoy them. I hated them, and hated looking at them. I assume that is why fate decided they would stick with me even in the afterlife." There was a moment of silence before Husk replied, "They make you feel vulnerable again. They remind you of those.. incidents.. Don't they?"
Alastor didn't verbally respond, but the glance he gave him confirmed to Husk that he may have been correct about this. Husk nodded. "You can trust us, Al."
As they stepped into Husk's room, they noticed just how much effort Niffty had put into this. She had drawn a bath, filled it with bubbles, already gotten a towel ready, and fresh new clothes for Alastor, folded neatly by the sink. As the Radio Host looked closer, he noticed some of the holes and tears had been mended.
"Wow, Niff, I'm impressed." Husk said, taking his hat off. Another sign that this wasn't between co-workers, but friends. His hair was slicked back as usual, though Alastor hadn't seen it like that since the day he won his soul.
When Husk looked back at Alastor, he noticed the look in his eye, his posture, everything. The look of 'I am trying very hard to be okay with this.'
Husk gave him a slight nod before turning to Niffty. "Why don't we give him some space real quick, alright?" He turned to Alastor. "Go ahead and get yourself ready in the bathroom, we'll be right out here." As he walked past the deer demon, he lowered his voice again, "We won't leave you."
Alastor stepped into the bathroom and shut the door, letting out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He did deep down truly appreciate how supportive Husk and Niffty were being, it did help him feel less.. anxious about everything. Though he also no longer felt like an overlord. He felt like a kid again. The constant reassurance, the sudden comfort and concern he was being shown.. It reminded him of his mother. It was hard to describe, but if he had to, he would have said he felt 'weak, but in a way that was okay with him.'
He got himself ready and sat himself in the bath, the heat of the water somehow immediately helping him relax more than he thought it would. He was grateful for the bubbles as well, not only did it cover him, but he wasn't able to see his scars that much.
There was a gentle knock, then Husk's voice. "Al?" Wanting to at least pretend he still had control, he replied, "Enter."
Husk opened the door and before he even got a full step in, Niffty darted in, grabbed Alastor's discarded clothes and then ran back out, fussing about the blood stains under her breath.
"... Alright, well while she goes and does whatever it is she's decided she's going to do, I'll get started, if that's okay with you." Husk said, shutting the door behind him. Alastor nodded. It did feel odd to him to have someone elss in the room, but he reminded himself that he could trust the bartender.
As Husk stepped closer, he did catch a glimpse of a couple scars, littered across his skin. He didn't mention them, instead grabbing a rag nearby that Niffty had left out. "I know you don't like being touched, so I'm warning you beforehand that I'm about to, so you don't kill me. Satan knows Niffty would fuss at you over the mess." He said, trying to lighten the mood a little. Though Alastor didn't laugh, his grin did widen slightly, indicating that it had worked.
Husk dampened the cloth and got started, touching it to Alastor's back. As the radio demon jumped a little and suddenly gripped the sides of the tub, he paused, gave him time to calm back down, and continued. He knew he could have laughed at him, teased him for being such a powerful demon scared of something as small as a bath, but he didn't. He wouldn't. Because he understood. Sure, he was a feared overlord, rivaling with the King of Hell himself, but before that, he was a person.
A person that, surprisingly, he had come to understand and even care about. As Alastor suddenly jolted again, letting out a sudden ring of static, Husk thought it was due to him being anxious again, only to see his shoulders shaking a little bit.
At first, he worried that Alastor either was in pain or had started crying (a thought that really concerned him), but as he looked down, he noticed he had the rag placed on the back of his ribs, and that Alastor was arching away from the touch. Now this was something he could tease him about.
"Ticklish, kid?" He grinned, making a point to wiggle his fingers through the rag, making Alastor do the radio feedback noise again. "I-I'm oholder thahan you, you ahabsolute-" "Yeah but you died younger than I did, I'm more of an adult than you are."
Alastor opened his mouth to argue, but Husk had already slipped the rag under his right arm, wiggling his claws through the thin fabric. The radio demon slammed his arm down, trying hard to keep it together. He shook with contained laughter, his grin wide and wobbly, ears pinned back. He was doing quite well until Husk suddenly skittered his claws along the back of his neck.
He scrunched his nose up and broke, giggling hysterically, reflexively kicking a leg out, causing a bit of water to splash over the side. "Hey," Husk playfully scolded, "Keep it together down there, you know Niffty is gonna chastise you about that later." "My floor!"
Husk and Alastor jumped, the latter accidentally letting out more mic feedback, as both startled at the sudden sound of Niffty. Neither had seen or heard her enter the bathroom. She huffed, hands on her hips. "You boys. Always giving me more work." She shook her head, hopping up on a stool left by the tub so she could reach Alastor.
"I swear she appears whenever her name is mentioned, did you do that when you got her soul?" Husk whispered. Alastor shook his head, his eyes showing he was just as freaked out as Husk was.
Niffty ignored them, filling a cup with water. "Ears," was all the warning she gave before she dumped it over the deer's head, giving him a split second to fold his ears back to protect them from the water. Husk had to bite back a chuckle as Alastor's hair fell into his face, covering his eyes. He almost resembled a grumpy, wet dog. He reached up and pushed his hair from his eyes, looking slightly annoyed, but Husk knew he had all the patience in the world when it came to Niffty. She could get away with anything.
Even when she started to work in the shampoo, scritching behind his ears. Alastor visibly tensed up, his cheeks turning pink (something Husk had never seen him do). The cat grinned at him, leaning on the edge of the tub. "Your ears are ticklish too?" He chuckled.
As muffled, staticky snickers bubbled out of the overlord, Niffty just smiled. "Husk, dont tease him when you're worse." This shut him up quickly, Husk pinning his own ears back grumbling. Alastor would have laughed at him, had he not already been fighting it back so hard.
When Niffty started to gently scritch at the base of his ears, he started to crack more, giggling louder, yet it was clear he was trying to sit still for her. "Pff- Hmph.. M-Mhmhmhmhm- hahahaha nohoho!" His eyes flew open to glare at Husk, who had picked the rag up to start at the other side of his ribs now, under his left arm.
Alastor's ears were flicking from Niffty's tickling, as he gripped Husk's wrist, more just to have something to ground himself rather than to push him away.
Husk gently scrubbed lower down his side, earning higher giggles before Alastor gasped and flinched away. He hadn't been hurt, but Husk knew it more him trying to avoid getting hurt before it actually happened. The slash he had gotten from Adam was still healing. "Relax, Bucky, I'm not gonna hit it." Husk said.
"Don't call me Bu-hahahaha!" He had gotten cut off when Husk simply switched to his other side.
"Ears." Niffty warned before immediately pouring water over his head again. Alastor coughed a little before lifting his bangs again. "Careful, Niff, don't drown him." Husk chuckled, giving him a break to catch his breath.
As Niffty hopped down off the stool, Husk tossed the rag to Alastor for him to get his own legs, making a joke about how 'I know neither of us want me reaching down there.'
Husk took a seat on the stool as Niffty ran back in with a jar. "What's that?" Husk questioned. "Hoof polish!" She grinned. Alastor let a quiet growl escape his throat, though it was more out of embarrassment than anger, making the cat laugh a little. "As funny as that would be Niffty, I don't think we need it. I'm not pampering his spoiled ass more than I have to." She nodded and ran back out of the room.
"I couldn't help but notice," Husk started, "That you didn't try very hard to get away from the ticklin', especially around your ears." He smirked. Alastor just threw a soft glare his way and didnt confirm nor deny anything.
Once Alastor was done, Husk turned his head away and handed him a towel, before leaving the bathroom to leave him to it.
Alone once again, Alastor took a moment to take in just how much better he felt. Not only physically, but mentally. In the past, bathing would drain him of his energy, leaving him mentally exhausted. But this time he felt better than ever. He looked over at his newly mended suit, patched up by Niffty.
She didn't have to do that.. But she did. Because she looked up to Alastor and cared for him. And Husk didn't have to sit with him the entire time and help him. But he did. Because he saw him as a friend.
He got dressed and left the bathroom, meeting Husk again in his bedroom. Husk's ear flicked as he heard the door open, and he looked up at Alastor. "Feeling better?" He asked.
Alastor walked past him, quickly scritching behind the cat's ears as he passed, earning a loud snort as his hand was batted away. "Much." He smiled, and headed back out to the lobby.
It may not have been a verbal 'thank you,' but Husk had gotten the message anyway.

_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
A drunken night at your local club can do terrible things. Such as reconsider ever breaking up with your boyfriend. This only led to Isabella trying to hide your phone, knowing the breakup was only the greatest thing you’ve done since the start of the relationship and your constant complaints about it just annoyed her further, ready to take you home after seeing the row of shots laid in front of you.
“But I-” you let out a hiccup before continuing. “I lo-” Isabella smacked your hand that was near grasping your phone. You gave her a glare to which she reciprocated an intimidating look, putting you into a sulk, slouching your shoulders with an exaggerated pout.
“It’s been only a day y/n. Let it pass” Isabella tried comforting you, caressing the hand she had smacked not even a couple of seconds ago. You were eternally grateful for her presence after you had drunkenly called her crying about the break up forcing her to arrive and not get you kicked out for causing a ruckus or for drinking too much.
With your place only being a couple of minutes walk, you walked here so there was no worry of leaving your car behind, instead getting into her car and nearly throwing up from the motion. ‘I’ll have to apologize for that tomorrow’ you thought to yourself after nearly giving her a heart attack from actually almost throwing up. She dragged you back inside, huffing after practically throwing you onto your bed.
“Don’t do anything stupid while I gather some things” she said, leaving your room planning to be back in a couple of minutes. you abruptly sat up, feeling your head start to gather a rather painful headache. Looking to the side, spotting your phone on the nightstand, you made a quick maneuver to grasp it.
Before you had any time to think, you dialed your ex-boyfriend's number to the best of your ability and clicked the button allowing it to ring, praying internally Isabella took longer than needed to get your words out.
“Do you have any idea what time it is?” a voice answered, and while your head panged painfully, you ignored your conscious telling you the voice seemed unrecognizable under the raspy, tired state.
“I misshed you” your words slurred, before he could respond, you continued, having the special need to word vomit. “Everyone tells me it was a mistake to have ever trusted you but I think it was just a mistake to ever let you in my life in the first place. Don’t tell Isa this but I just mish you”
“Y/n?” his voice turned soft and before you had time to register who was on the other end, you heard your door slam open behind me.
“What the hell are you doing?” now was Isabella's turn to interrupt the poor guy who desperately needed sleep. Your phone was quickly taken from you, struggling to get it back.
“I left you for one minute and you-”
“Don’t tell me what I can’t do!” you yelled back, lunging at her from your bed, grasping at your phone once again making a dash at the door. You clung the phone against your ear, praying to the person on the other end that Isabella hadn’t accidentally hung up “Baby are you still there?”
“Still here” his voice somehow soothed you as Isabella now gathered a confused look, walking behind you to spot the series of numbers instead of the usual contact. Her eyes widened at the realization.
“I don’t think thats-”
“Shh” your finger came to her lips and she only rolled her eyes but kept quiet wondering how long it would take you to realize who you were calling was not your past lover, now only glazing an amused smile.
“As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted” You threw a glare at Isabella who looked entertained, having the time of her life while you embarrassed yourself, knowing you’d forget this by the morning. “I’ve thought it over the past couple of hours and I just want to say-”
“Your phone died” Isabella pointed out, you audibly gasped near shedding tears at the terrible outcome. Seeing tears threatening to pour, she soothed you, containing her laugh at your childish state, “C’mon, let's get you to bed”
With a deep frown, you followed her to your own room and flopped to bed making sure to connect your phone beforehand to its charger.
The next morning was a dread as your friend brought you pills and assisted you in the bathroom, hunched over the toilet draining all previous contents from the previous day.
“I didn’t do anything too bad, did I?” you asked, wiping your mouth after having just brushed your teeth.
“Other than the bruise you gave me?” she said, making you cringe at the sight of the light purple mark on her cheek. “Yes”
Your shocked expression made it all the more humorous for her.
“Check your phone” was the only thing she said. Turning it back on, you noticed the unknown number of messages.
Rough day?
You looked back at your friend waiting for her to explain,
“You nearly confessed your love to him, probably thinking it was Mateo” she explained and it sent your heart to go on overdrive, wanting to dig a hole for your embarrassment. He probably took pity on you from the foolery you pulled the night before. “He did sound pretty hot though”
You hit your friend not liking how she took humour out of the situation, she hit you back with little force before new message popped up,
I don't want to sound invasive but now im curious, how deserving was your ex to earn someone as interesting as you?
Or have you two already made up?
“You’re never making up with him,” Isa said, reading the texts over your shoulder. “But he sounds interested” she winked.
“No.” You shook your head, denying all her ideas of whatever plans she was making up in that pretty mind of hers.
It only took you an hour after she left to reply back to the guy after a long debate in your head.
Not yet.
Sorry for calling you, would be amazing if you forgot that ever happened.
While I usually have a short memory, last night was unforgettable
Your friend get a bruise? Hit sound pretty brutal
She's fine.
How come you didn’t hang up?
Was curious on how a love confession from you sounded like.
And while your head told you to block him there and then, he sounded like a creep after all. You didn’t. Instead, conversations started, curious of his identity but keeping it a secret on either side, at least from what you believed.
Any update on the scrunch?
Why was it that every time he texted, your heart began to do the familiar leap it would reserve for only people of interest?
Do you want any updates?
I thought you hated him as much as my friend.
I do. Just making sure you're not getting yourself drunk again to call him
Because you???
Care about you???
Right. For all I know you could be a 70-year-old man who cares about me so much.
Creep.
And I’m trusting that you aren’t some middle-aged women who sounds pretty.
Pretty?
Is something wrong with a pretty voice?
*Read*
“Are you ready, to go to the party of a lifetime?” Isabella barged into your apartment. You shouldn’t have given her a spare key.
“No” you said, ignoring her groan as you went to reply to his text from earlier. She noticed, an interesting spark in her eyes before sitting next to you on the couch.
“Have you found out who he is?” She asked, grabbing a chip from the bag you had laid across. You just shook your head, turning off your phone, ready for another lecture of hers. “Not even a picture?”
You shook your head again. Of course, you were curious, but if you weren’t willing to reveal your identity, you never pushed it onto him. You found out he went to Michigan University, the same school you go to. That’s the farthest you’ve been to ‘revealing’ who he is and there still are thousands of students on campus.
“At least he’s not 50 with a good voice,” she said, reminding you of his comment on your own, your cheeks beginning to heat up again, and as much as she wanted to tease you further about it, she further insisted “You’re still coming with me to the party”
“I went last time and hated it,” you said, last time being three months ago, when you had an argument with Mateo, your ex-boyfriend over the stupidest reason. You couldn’t even remember it, for christ sake!
“Mmh I wonder why” She narrowed her eyes at me, daring me to test her, you just glared back before sighing and saying a final ‘fine’.
Her glare was quickly replaced with a bright smile, “great” she said before waltzing into your room as you quickly stood up, trailing behind her.
“What are you doing?” you ask, although already guessing once you spot her opening your closet, a look of disgust washing over her as observed the mess inside.
“When was the last time you wore this?” She asked, pulling out a green fitted top, that (in your opinion) shows too much. One she bought you. Wore it once, never again, you swore.
“Like a year ago” She looked offended by your response quickly throwing the top to you, having to catch it before it was sent straight to your face before being thrown a pair of pants.
“You’re wearing that” she pointed to me, and you couldn’t find the energy to argue with her, instead sighing before changing. The two of you were close enough to change without much thought in front of the other. After being roommates together your freshman year, you had to quickly let go of any boundaries you would usually hold and one of those was getting dressed in the same room as someone.
“Is Mark going?” you asked, referring to her fling and she only glanced at me with a cloud of sad eyes. Your eyebrows furrowed asking, “What happened?” worry in your tone quickly shook her and she just gave a small smile, saying “We stopped talking”
You felt your own heartache for her before you realized why she was so persistent on going to the party, “he's going, isn't he?”
“All in the works of a mastermind” she gave me a small smirk, a mischievous glint in her eyes that made you believe she would end up with Mark by the end of the night. Their on-and-off relationship has hung strong for the past year, or was it two now?
The party started at nine that night, freshmen lingering outside as they gathered the courage to go inside. Most juniors and seniors let themselves enjoy the night with a beer in their hand as the music only got louder as the night progressed.
We both walked to the end of the house, familiar with the layout of the house as we walked into the kitchen not as many people were, the ruckus was held outside, some played pool while others were playing beer pong, and as always, Isabella wanted to go outside, having a good idea where Mark was holding himself.
You grabbed a simple beer bottle, taking off the lid before swinging it as you felt the bubbles burn your throat.
A night to forget.
You felt your phone buzz against your back, located in your pocket, and took it out, wanting to appear busy but curious either way eager on who was texting you but a body collapsing onto you interrupted.
“Shit, I’m sorry” A small apology was given and you shook it off, feeling the beer that was once in your hand, in a nice glass bottle, running down your arm. You grabbed your phone, ready to say ‘its fine’ before you met a pair of eyes that nearly threw you back to freshman year of college.
Ethan Edwards.
To say the least, you and him met in chemistry 1301. You two were lab partners and for a while, you two were friends. Up until he stood you up on presentation day and you got a 50 on the grade, bringing your overall to a 70. Resenting him for it, avoided all of his texts and calls, going as far as blocking his phone but it didn’t matter either way, getting a new phone afterward.
Most would call you a bitch for a stupid reason. your GPA says otherwise.
“Y/n?” his voice almost softened, drawing a backward step. “Didn’t think you’d be here” he set his own cup down and as much as you wanted to roll your eyes, you only narrowed them.
“Same here” Really, you didn’t. He wasn’t much of a party-goer. If you knew he would be here, you wouldn’t have come. Not because of the freshman event but...
“Where is uhh” he seemed to forget his name, scratching the back of his neck, only assuming just how awkward this is for you.
“Mateo?” you asked and he nodded. You almost laughed at his ability to forget, considering you and Mateo were once stuck to the hip. You crossed your arms against your chest before saying “We broke up”
“That sucks,” he said with a small smile. you rolled your eyes, knowing he’d only end up teasing you about it, but instead, his lips turned downward, asking just loud enough to hear against the music “I’m sorry about-“
“It’s fine” you interrupt him, not wanting to hear his apology in person, afraid your forgiving self would accept it in a millisecond. “A 70 isn’t so bad”
“shit… I didn’t think it would affect your grade” his frown was evident, a sympathetic gaze washing over his face. You shook your head, ready to say it was fine for the millionth time before he was the one to interrupt you “I had… a lot going on”
You didn’t get to ask the specifics before a face all too recognizable crossed your field of vision behind Ethan.
Shit.
You didn’t notice him at first because he had his tongue down another girl's throat.
Ethan, noticing your shocked gaze, turned around, finding the same scene. Sensing the drop of your heart to the floor, he turned back to you, a numbness creeping in the longer you stared.
“Did he-“
“I broke up with him.” You turned back to him, ready to walk off suddenly not being able to stomach any contents from the past 24 hours. He nodded, shifting his feet to where he stood directly in front of you, blocking any view of Mateo.
“Want to get out of here?” His gentle tone made your own throat clog up as you just nodded, looking up at him. He picked up your hand from your side, intertwining it with his before finding the nearest exit.
You kept looking down at our hands, wondering why a warmth pooled over you as he walked you outside where a much lesser crowd was. From a distance you could see Isabella with Mark, aching at the familiar site of a relationship blossoming, she denies it but she’s inevitably falling for him.
“You… stopped talking to me” he was the first to bring it up and you couldn’t help but feel even worse. Two years ago, experiencing the nights you two hung out together, you wouldn’t have expected to ever stop talking to him in such little time but growing up with grades being everything, a certain grudge took hold when you clicked the block button.
“If I could go back, I wouldn’t have done that,” you say, truthfully. The music now was a faint strum as you two ventured farther into the neighborhood, kicking the pavement. You could feel his gaze on you, withstanding, while yours was neglecting his.
“There’s no time like the present” he offered, you stopped in your tracks, surprised, because in all honesty if you had done that to anyone else, they would’ve titled you a bitch and moved on. But… he was different and you should’ve realized that sooner. He turned to you, meeting your eyes, his smile slipping, the curves of his lips still tugging “If you’re up for it”
You only nodded, too afraid to say the wrong thing. He stepped closer to you, willing you to have to tilt your head. “How is it that you’ve grown taller?” you meant to tease him but instead it came out in awe and he let out a chuckle.
“It’s called being a late bloomer” he playfully flicked your forehead, a wave of nostalgia filling you as you two laughed. Laughs seizing, the two of you only gazed into each other. “Y/n-”
A buzz came from your jean pocket and you quickly took it out, expecting the mysterious boy you’ve been talking to but instead receive a message from Isabella saying ‘staying over at Mark’s. Love you <3’. You quickly type back ‘Stay safe, love you more.’
“Mark is taking Isa home,” you say, more out loud to yourself than anyone and Ethan can’t help his sheepish smile.
“I lost my bet on them last time,” he said and you furrowed your brows, not sure what he meant. “The guys are always betting how long they’ll last each time, I keep thinking that this is the time that he’ll finally carry it on, and ask her out officially but he manages to mess it up somehow”
You let out a breathy laugh, confessing on doing something similar “It’s not all Mark. Isa has never had a serious relationship, Mark is the closest thing to one. She can’t even accept that she likes him more than just a night together”
“Reminds me of someone I know” he says and you turned your head,
“Are you implying the same about me?” you can’t help the offended tone exiting with your words. “I just got out of a 2-year relationship, Mr. ‘I don't date’”
“Before that, I mean” he rolled his eyes, his smile still intact. “It took you nearly the entire year to fess up to anyone that you liked Mateo.”
You internally took a step back, thinking back to freshman year and the reasons why you were never good at confessing to anyone about your feelings for Mateo before remembering the irregular heartbeat your pulse would go into with someone else. You only confessed your feelings to Mateo after denying the hidden ones for Ethan. A friendship you formed in a matter of days, you would never wished to break over something stupid like feelings.
At least that was freshman year.
“I should go home” you blurt out, suddenly every sense of feeling was heightened. The warmth his body would provide from simply walking next to you, his familiar cologne scent, and the way your hands would brush against each other. Ethan turned to you, confused but willing, nodding.
“Let me walk you” he offered and you nearly said no before remembering that that would mean having to walk alone and in a university filled with drunk guys on the weekend, you were fearful, so instead you nodded, accepting his invitation but wanting to rush the evening now until you could go home and not overanalyze the way Ethan gazed at you.
Because even if you liked him again, he wouldn’t like you. There was no way.
Yet the way he looked at you… someone would think you hung the moon and stars right in front of him.

“Im ridiculous…?? Larissa, you never take care of yourself!!” You exclaimed with a jarring tone, throwing your arms up flamboyantly, letting them land square on your hips.
Larissa huffed, as she paced the room, her face screwed in a distasteful look.
“Oh please…!! You barely get 6 hours of sleep a night—!” She sneered back.
You two had been at it for at least twenty minutes. Anyone and everyone in the near vicinity of the halls or rooms close to Larissa’s office had vacated. Your heated argument was seaping through you two and the walls of Nevermore.
And it had all started because you had come into Larissa’s office and found her working still far too late…
You gritted your teeth and let groaned in frustration, fisting your hand together, so much so so that your knuckles were white.
“God you’re incorrigible!! You can’t even see your own hypocrisy—!” You yelled.
“Well maybe I would if you weren’t being such a dick about it?!!!” Larissa shrieked.
This made you stop in your tracks. You unclenched your fists as your eyes widened. You realized how harsh you’d been...
Because Larissa rarely swore… Really the only time was when you two were intimate. Never anywhere else… So her addition of the curse in her verbiage made you rethink the whole situation…
Larissa took your silent response as even more of an insult. She had now wandered towards the door, so that you were in the middle of the room, in between her and her desk. Larissa stood tall and looked down at you, trying her hardest to act intimidating. She craned over you.
“So that’s what yore going to do…?? Go silent on me?!” Larissa spat in a mocking and dominating tone.
But this time, her words sparked a different fire in you. Instead of anger, lust was bursting through your veins, causing you to smirk and tilt your head upward at the tall principal.
Larissa looked a little confused at your reaction, quirking her brows and wondering what your game was.
“What..??” She spat yet again.
You gave the woman a small, mocking pout, clasping your hands together behind your back, and slowly starting to stalk towards the blonde.
“Is someone pent up…??” You taunted the woman.
This made Larissa scoff and roll her eyes. Yet at the same time, she started to back up as you approached her.
“What? No, that’s absolutely ridiculous!” Larissa squeaked, trying to sound intimidating but desperately failing.
You backed the tall blonde up all the way against her office door, when she then heard the click of you locking the door, wearing a grin the entire time. Larissa’s breath hitched. You were flush against the woman. Your closeness made Larissa gulp and blush lightly.
But just as you thought she was given in, a new gust of confidence took the blonde principal over. She suddenly lengthened herself and towered over you, even though she was the one trapped in between you and the office door.
“You think this is going to work…?? What are you going to…?? Seduce me…?” Larissa jeered.
You said nothing, staring up at the woman and looking her directly in the eye, not faltering. You simply dropped to your knees and began to roll up her dress.
Larissa went silent and her breath was bated as she watched you on your knees, rolling up her dress, removing her knickers, and spreading her legs for access. When you finally got to the woman’s glistening cunt, you looked up at her with a Cheshire Cat like grin, before leaning forward and licking her entire cunt from bottom to top in one fell swoop.
Larissa threw her head back and waves of pleasure hit her like a brick. Her legs immediately threatened to buckle, but she was quick to widen her arms and hold onto the wall to keep herself from collapsing.
Once you had pulled away and Larissa had come back to reality, her eyes met your gaze and they flashed with challenge.
“Is this your way of apologizing…? You gonna eat mommy out…?” Larissa taunted.
You shook your head with a chuckle, ignoring her taunts, because you knew she would be putty in your hands in about five seconds.
“Keep your eyes on mine…” you growled in your sultry, lustful tone that always sent Larissa into a frenzy.
Larissa’s eyes widened and she bit her lip. She was about to challenge you again, but then your tongue slid its way into her fluttering cunt and the woman was a goner.
Her legs began to bend and threatened to buckle, so you were swift to place your hands on each of her thighs to keep her propped up. Larissa’s hands were still outstretched against the walls and clinging on tight, as she let out her first desperate groan of the night.
You began to pick up the pace and really started to fuck the blonde’s cunt as like you knew would destroy her… As your tongue took turns lapping away at her folds and fucking her hole, your brought your thumb up to her clit and put tight circular pressure on her bundle of nerves.
“Ohhh f-fuck Y/N…” Larissa whimpered with a groan at the end, tilting her head back and screwing her eyes shut tight.
You quickly pulled away, stopping all administrations with a smirk. Larissa’s head shot back and her shocked gaze furiously found yours. As she saw your smirk, she realized you had her right where you wanted her.
“I said…” you growled, licking a stripe off her cunt, making Larissa’s knees wobble and her lip tremble, before counting, “Keep your gaze on mine…”
“Sorry yes Daddy…”
Larissa gulped and she immediately nodded vigorously. You chuckled and nodded in response, burying your face in her cunt once more, quickly returning to your destructive pace.
As Larissa quickly approached her high, all the while you stared her down with a wicked grin, one of the blonde’s hands jolted to your hair, pushing your head closer to her cunt as her hips grinded against your face. You let this act slip, because of how desperately gone the woman was by now.
You, thank fuck, let Larissa cum when she got to the edge, riding out her high as she came hard. Larissa was panting and by the end of her climax, her legs did in deed gone out on her, so she fell to the floor still trapped between you and the door.
You moved away from her cunt, now at eye level with the fucked out woman. You smirked and leaned in, pressing your cum splattered lips against Larissa’s. Larissa groaned as she happily licked all of her cum off your lips and from your mouth, her hands lunging forward to pull you impossibly closer.
The kiss was bruising, dizzying, but neither of you wanted to pull away. Alas, you both eventually needed to breath, so you had to detach momentarily, also giving Larissa some time to catch her breath.
“Poor mommy’s out of breath, just from Daddy’s tongue, huh…?” You teased the woman lightly.
“Shut up…” Larissa grumbled, crossing her arms defensively, “Didn’t enjoy it that much…”
Now this made you flat out laugh out loud.
“Ha!” You laughed with a smile, “Yes you did…”
Larissa blushed and looked away.
“Ok fine I did…” she muttered, before looking back at you with that same needy look, “fuck me properly, Daddy…?” She whimpered, already squirming where she sat.
You smirked once more and nodded.
“Of course, baby… Come on, let’s go to the bedroom” you said in your sultry, knee wobbling tone, making Larissa already start to ride the waves of pleasure again.

𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄
Yandere Scott Summers x GN Reader
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐓: When Scott feels his authority over you — the authority to keep you safe — is undermined, he has no choice but to show a little tough love. And, unfortunately for you, he doesn’t hold back.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒: platonic yandere content, strict mentor Scott, younger rookie reader, infantilism if you squint, slight intimidation tactics, argument, sparring gone wrong, technical physical abuse(?), Scott just goes ham on beating the shit out of you, all in the name of keeping you safe of course, blood mentioned, sight manipulation, sickeningly soft Scott at the end.
Cyclops goes too easy on you.
All the other X-Men know it; Wolverine and Gambit always make sure to tease you about it every chance they get. Despite all of the hard work you’ve put in since you joined the team, it’s like your field commander thinks you’re made of glass with how he opts for defensive maneuvering in sparring lessons. He’ll never throw a punch or go for the kick, instead blocking or catching whatever you throw his way. You swear he even lets you go for the take down rather than letting you earn it yourself.
It’s just so frustrating. He’s the one who keeps saying you have to prove you’re for a mission… how can you do that if he never gives you the chance? You came here to be one of the X-Men, so you deserve to be trained like one. Hell, he even exchanges blows with Jubilee, and she’s no older than you are. Meanwhile, the most you get is a slight shove or the gentlest pin-down known to man. How is this preparing you for anything out on the field?!
“(Y/N), stay focused.”
And there’s his annoyingly demanding voice snapping you out of your spiral of irritated thoughts.
The two of you were “sparring” in the Danger Room, long after everyone else left. As usual, you mentally jeered; he always has something he wants you to hang back for, because even the most trivial things need to be “corrected” in his eyes. Today, you were unfortunate enough to “push your punch,” as he put it, and now you were stuck with him until he finally deemed the problem fixed. After being forced to punch the air for a solid 10 minutes — not without his very much needed critiques, of course — you were finally back to directing your fists at him.
(At least this is a chance to take out my anger on the source, you bitterly thought to yourself.)
The mundane you-punch-and-he-blocks experience (because that’s all it is; you weren’t really “sparring”) has been going on for the past 5 minutes. You’ve gotten in some solid blows, some of them actually catching him by surprise, much to your satisfaction. But it was obvious your heart wasn’t into it, and it was only a matter of time before he noticed.
Catching your next punch in his hand, he gave you a tight frown. “Hey. Did you hear me?”
“Loud and clear,” you responded through gritted teeth. It was easy enough to twist your fist out of his grip, which only added to your vexation; he should’ve at least pretended to try.
“Doesn’t seem like it,” the older mutant retorted, crossing his arms over his chest (part of you wanted to take this as a chance to deliver a sharp kick to his side, but you refrained). “I could’ve easily neutralized you from how sloppy that blow was.”
Before your brain could catch up, your mouth spat out a loaded question; “then why didn’t you?”
“(Y/N),” he lowly warned.
“What?” It was hard to keep the poison out of your tone, but you tried your best. “I’m one of the X-Men too, you know. I can handle it!”
The visor over his eyes made his expression harder to read. All you could go off of was the bottom half of his face, and from the way his jaw tightened, you could tell he wasn’t in the mood for this. “You can’t.”
“Wh—” you were caught off guard from the pure vindication of his words, causing you to drop your fighting stance entirely. “Yes I can! You can’t just decide that!”
“I’m your leader,” he spat out, “I can decide whatever I want for the sake of my team.”
“You can’t call yourself my leader if you don’t let me on missions! That’s just unfair!” To accentuate your exasperation, you threw your arms out to the side. “Look, man. You can bench me all you want, but at least train me with the same respect as everyone—”
He was quick to cut you off. “This isn’t about respect, (Y/N). You’re just not ready for that level of training, and your performance today proves that. You’re getting lazy.”
“Only ‘cuz you don’t take me seriously,” you scoffed. Before he could say something to that, you quickly continued. “These aren’t sparring sessions. Not actually helpful ones, anyway. I mean, if you’re never gonna fight back, why even bother?! You may as well have me waste my time punching a training dummy instead—”
“That’s enough,” he snapped at you, but you only continued.
“Can’t you just hear me out?!” A frustrated groan tumbled from your lips. “I’m not asking you to drop me in the middle of a war zone, I just want you to actually train me!! At this rate, I’ll never be ready for a mission!! Please, Cyke… I wanna be trained for real!”
Cyclops went eerily silent at this. While you couldn’t see his eyes, the glare he was giving you translated quite well, causing a shiver up to go up your spine. Nevertheless, you stood your ground; you finally spoke your mind, and you weren’t going to let him intimidate you out of this. You’ll easily take an optic blast to the face if it meant getting your point across.
“… Get ready, then,” was his flat reply.
You were only given a fraction of a second to process the implication before he quickly took on a fighting stance, delivering a precise jab to your rib cage. His movements were nothing but a blur to you, the painful blow almost knocking you off your feet as you let out a shout. He gave you no time to recover as he threw his next punch, which you fortunately managed to dodge, albeit barely. A rapid procession of fists followed, and you could feel the gusts of them as you desperately tried to keep up your evasive maneuvering.
It soon became harder and harder to keep up with how fast he was moving. You eventually had to resort to blocking with your forearms; an experience you found to be quite painful. The sheer power from his punches made your bones feel like they were gonna splinter, the skin of your arms already burning from agony. One nasty hit at the wrong angle could very well break something. Surely, Cyclops was keeping this in mind, right?
The focus you had on his upper half made you completely neglect keeping an eye on his legs. This mistake quickly caught up to you when his knee collided with your jaw, the reflexive flinch of your hand being too late to stop it. As your teeth smashed together and caught your tongue in the process, his fist gave you no time to recollect yourself as it planted itself square in your nose. Stars filled your vision, your balance becoming less and less controlled. Cyclops easily took advantage of this and delivered a turning kick to your side, right in the same spot he initially punched you in.
You felt your head colliding with the Danger Room’s floor before you even realized you were knocked down.
The taste of blood filled your mouth, and you could vaguely feel some trinkling out of your throbbing nose. Weakly attempting to push yourself off of the ground, a strained grunt left your vocal cords as you became quite literally painfully aware of the aching in your arms. Just as you managed to get up on your hands and knees, a downwards force suddenly pinned you back against the floor and effectively knocked all of the wind out of your lungs. You could feel the heal of his boot against your shoulder blades. He was applying enough pressure for you to distantly worry about your rib cage, and all you could do was pathetically struggle against it.
“This is what I meant,” he coldly remarked. “You can’t handle it.”
Blood mixed with saliva dribbled down your chin as you tried to spit something back. “Th-This isn’t—”
“You’re not ready,” he interrupted, the foot he has on your back only crushing your chest further. “For the field, for the Danger Room simulations, for any sort of training that could leave you like this.”
Finally, the pressure on your back was alleviated, causing you to gasp out for air. Your vision was become fuzzy, but you didn’t dare succumb to the darkness, instead rapidly trying to blink away the splotchy holes. A wet cough from your lungs only worsened the burning sensation through your body. Below you, the floor was becoming a canvas of speckled blood, both from your nose and mouth as you desperately heaved for air.
Fight or flight was the only thing keeping you conscious at this point.
“C… Cy—ke,” you wheezed, desperately struggling to get up on your hands and knees again. “Please, I…”
“Stay down,” he warned from above you. The danger that laced his words made a shiver go up your spine, causing your movements to falter. After a few moments, however, you gingerly continued to push yourself upwards, which caused your field leader to growl out a low, “(Y/N).”
It took all your strength to ignore him; to ignore your better judgement.
Cyclops didn’t take to kindly to that.
The feeling of his hand cradling the back of your neck made your shoulders jolt, and it wasn’t long before your face collided with the ground. He kept a firm grip on your head as he swiftly maneuvered your hands to his liking, pinning one to your back against his knee and the other right next to your face. It quickly dawned upon you that struggling was futile, yet despite that, you tried anyways. A frustrated sigh left the older mutant’s lips at your thrashing and twisting.
“This for your own good,” he chided, tightening his hold on you. “Stop struggling. You’re only going to hurt yourself.”
“You’re—!! The one h-hurting me,” you snapped back. A cry of pain ended your sentence as he dug his knee further into your back.
“It doesn’t have to be this way,” said Cyclops with a low tone. He was letting you take his full body weight, and you found it increasingly harder to breathe. “Why can’t you just let me do what’s good for you? Why can’t you just let me take care of you?”
That last part rendered you completely still. Take care of you? What the hell did he mean by that? Was this seriously his idea of taking care of you? Giving you the kiddy treatment and then beating the crap out of you when you ask to be treated with actual respect?
What the hell is this guy’s problem?!
He must’ve taken your state of shock as a white flag, because the weight on your body was finally letting up. As much as you wanted to take this as an opportunity to catch him off guard, it suddenly dawned upon you just how much agony you were in. Your chest ached from your lungs to your rib cage. The nerves in your forearms felt like they were punched numb. You couldn’t even breathe from your nose and instead had to rely on your mouth (it didn’t help that the ghost of air over your wounded tongue created a sharp sting). What little fight you had left in you was rapidly depleting, rendering you completely tired on the ground.
“There,” he breathed out, the softness in his tone sounding foreign to your ears. “Just relax. Easy, now. You’re in no condition to try anything, you hear me?”
You couldn’t even muster up enough energy to roll your eyes at his coaxing murmurs. Though it pained you to admit it, he was unfortunately right; now wasn’t the time to be testing your luck. His hands slowly moved away from your head and wrist, his knee eventually following suite after a deliberate moment. Then, as delicately as he could, he peeled you off of the floor and into his strong arms. Every part of your body felt like it was on fire, and you couldn’t stop the pathetic wince from your throat.
“It’s okay. I’ve got you now.” He gently tucked your head in the crook of his neck, rubbing soothing circles into your shoulder blades. “Let’s get Beast to check you over, yeah?”
No response came from your mouth. All you could do was slump against his chest and fight a losing battle against the beckoning call of unconsciousness. His quiet coos started to sound more and more distant, and before you knew it, you were out like a light.
Cyclops goes too easy on you.
Perhaps you finally found out why.

Safe now
Love of my Life Au
Warnings : fighting, swearing, underage drinking, and attempted SA
He was 6,1 and on the hockey team guys knew to keep clear of him and his girl. Obviously he is the biggest sweetheart but if you didn’t know this well then good luck because he can be intimidating when he wants to.
He always has a need to hold her, go to the bathroom with her, get her drinks so they don’t get spiked. He is protective but he knows he needs to be because you don’t know what types you get at big parties like this.
He also knows that all the hockey boys will look out for each others girls. Madi especially I mean she is practically hockey royalty and they are all like her older brothers. There is also the factor that her brothers would kill you if anything happened to her. Now if you think Rutger looks intimidating try her three NHL player brothers Quinn, Jack, and Luke.
Mads was not drinking at all just Coke Zero for her. She is a very serious athlete and her mum Ellen always said athletes don’t drink in the season. This came as more of a suggestion to her brothers ( jack ) but she took it to heart. Always wanting to perform her best and not take any chances of being sick, dehydrated, or tired.
Hence why Rut thought it was fine for her to go to the bathroom by herself. She hadn’t been drinking and the bathroom was in view from we’re they were standing, talking to Mark and Ethan. “Just meet me right back here as soon as you are done” he noted as he was very cautious of his girl. “It’s one of the biggest parties of the year who knows who is here mads, ok” he says making his point clear.
If it was any other party he would have been fine and more at ease. But Michigan had just won the rose bowl so it was hectic and everyone was there drunk off their asses. He had heard of many cases at parties like this of girls getting spiked or assaulted by guys. “Ok baby I’ll be quick, then maybe we could head home yeah” she said in a suggestive tone. Mads wondered off into the crowd seeing the huge line for the bathroom. There had to be at least twelve people ahead of her.
As she waited in the line she saw Dylan duke her long time best friend. “Dyl, we’re have you been all night” she asked knowing just why he had been preoccupied. “Oh shut up she is pretty ok and she thinks I’m hot” “Sure, Dylan” she joked.
As they chit chatted she gave rut a little wave before he looked away smiling re entering the conversation he was having.
“Oh my god what are these people doing in the bathroom” She exclaimed obviously busting to pee. “Mads don’t wait in this queue just go upstairs, it’s what I’ve been using”. Dylan says directing her
Unsure Madi made her way upstairs passing a few couples that couldn’t seem to wait til they got home to get with each other. As she made her way to the top she looked in a few rooms for a free bathroom. Accidentally walking in on a few couples getting at it she got a few ‘what the hell’s’ and ‘do you minds’. She finally found a free one and quickly used it.
Quickly using it and then touching up her makeup for the night ahead with rut she opened the door ready to go downstairs. As she started walking out she saw a guy she had never seen before looking directly at her. “Hey Mads right?” He asked “It’s Madison.” She said sternly trying to get out of there as soon as possible. She so did not feel like having a conversation with a gross stranger who obviously just wanted to get in her pants. Mads tried to exit but he grabbed her arm and whispered in her ear “ I don’t really care what your name is or how you say it you have a decent rack so you better shut the fuck up” Madi then trying to scream and kick her way out causing some kind of attention.
The guy put her hand over her mouth and dragged her back into the bathroom locking the door. She tried to fight back but he wasn’t budging instead hitting her in the face making her drowsy. She kept trying to push him away but he was a big dude and was to strong.
As she felt the blood start drip down from the top of her face she couldn’t help but cry.
Rutgers Pov,
“Hey has anyone seen Mads”
He had been asking everyone at the party for the last ten minutes.
“Rut hey dude mads just went to the toilet upstairs”
“Alone are you fucking with me” he said fuming at Dylan for even thinking that was ok. Rutger knows what guys are like and he was ready to beat the shit out of anyone.
Rutger rushed upstairs and searched everywhere to find one bathroom door locked. He banged on it then to hear Madi’s soft pleas to stop and get off her.
“Open up you asshole” Rutger screamed he swore the whole party had heard him but he didn’t care, he just wanted to hold mads. Luckily the guy had only just locked the door so nothing major had happened.
Finally the guy opened up the door expecting some guy who drank to much beer and needed the restroom. Before he knew it there was a guy jumping on him punching him repeatedly until he had blood all over his face. “Fucking touch her again and I’ll fucking kill you” he yelled like someone had died. Luca and Dylan seeing this run to pull Rut off the guy, then something catches ruts eyes. Madi standing frail and scared a few feet away. He goes to hold her and then sees blood. She has a cut on her upper eyebrow.
“You son of a bitch you laid hands on my girl” Rutger yells knowing he can’t do anything because he has to hold mads. “Oh fuck off as if you’d be dating her if she wasn’t a Hughes and didn’t have a rack”. Then the guy spoke up again “she’s a slut you know what have ur hooker looking girlfriend”. At this point Rutger was beyond pissed he couldn’t believe his ears.
“Fucking say it again I dare you” “As if you’d be dating her if she wasn’t a Hughes and didn’t have a rack she’s a good hit admit it” Rutger then decided to leave it until he heard a “Yea go have my sloppy seconds I got to her first tonight” and with that the guy was almost passed out on the floor from another hit. Luca lunges to towards him telling him to leave before they call the cops.
“Oh my girl you poor thing come here” rut says to mads. “I’m sorry for not being there I’m horrible” he whispers. “No Rut you were there don’t blame yourself for others actions, please baby”. Madi said
Rutger and Mads slowly walk down stairs trying to exit the house and get back to someone’s dorm. He did not let go of her at all after that. Finally finding the front yard Rutger picks her up and puts her in his car. “Oh sweet girl I’m never going to let anyone hurt you again”.
When they get to Madi’s dorm Rutger grabs the first aid kit Madi uses to clean him up after he gets into fights at games. He carefully dabs a cotton bud and some disinfectant oil for her cut. He then fixes himself up knowing his girl is to tired to do it for him like usual.
Rutger helps madi out of her little dress and into one of her (his) shirts and his boxers. He can’t help at smile at his beautiful girl almost drowning in his clothes.
After they both get into comfy clothes they find themselves cuddled up in bundles of blankets and pillows holding each other. Rutger is just happy she is safe now, and when I tell you he will never let her go again i mean never. He is walking her to and from every class, holding her tightly at parties, and taking her to her training. Anyway let’s just say Rut is content but also not looking forward to her brothers finding out especially jack.

soft | miguel o'hara
summary: you are probably the only person in the multiverse that miguel o'hara can be soft for warnings: none notes: i missed yall so much | wc: 1061
Miguel was a very intriguing character.
He didn't like many people, hell, you wondered if he liked anyone. Over the time that you known him, you've grown fond of the man and were around him much more often than others.
At first, Miguel just decided to ignore you when you would swing into his space, jumping down and standing next to him on the floating panel in the air. You just stood there and admired his work the first time, both a bit too scared and too intimidated to say anything, not wanting to upset or interrupt him. Miguel didn't think anything of it; as long as he could do his work without you interrupting him, he didn't mind.
You continued following him around, eventually building up the courage to try and start up a conversation. Most times, Miguel wound ignore you, unless you said something factually incorrect. Over time, he would eventually respond to your questions and carry out a conversation with you, seemingly interested.
Now, it's essentially become a habit of you barging into his work space and annoying him as he does work. He says it's annoying but he'd be lying if he said he didn't watch the clock and get upset if you're even 2 minutes late to seeing him, but it's not like he'd tell you that.
You've learned that Miguel doesn't have a spider-sense like most other spider people, and you've definitely used this to your advantage. Now, you crawled along the ceiling of the building, looking down on Miguel from above. You attached a web to the ceiling and used it to slowly slide down from the ceiling and stop as you were hanging upside down in front of Miguel with his back turned.
"Howdy stranger!" You said, semi-loud as you watched him jump in surprise.
"Jesus (Y/N)." He said with an agitated voice as he snapped around to face you hanging from the ceiling. "You really have to stop doing that." He added, his face falling back into the same brooding expression he normally has.
"Do I really have to? Or would you just really like me to?" You asked rhetorically with a smirk. He didn't respond, but instead gave you a knowing look as he scrunched his nose.
"Just to let you know, I got all of that on video and I will be uploading it." Lyla chimes in as she appears between the two of you. "Perfect, Lyla." You compliment as she laughs. "Wow, you are really not helpful, are you?" Miguel shakes his head with his fingers on the bridge of his nose. "I'm helpful when I need to be, but that was just too good to miss." She adds before disappearing.
"You gotta love that A.I., she brings a lot of smiles where you lack." You grin as he rolls his eyes and turns back to his holographic screens.
You pull yourself up and jump onto his back and wrapped your arms around his large shoulders. He didn't even look back at you, just kept his eyes on the screens as he moved around holograms. You clung to his back with your legs wrapped around his waist and your arms around his shoulders with your head peering over his shoulder. "So, whatcha doing?" You asked.
"Oh nothing important, just making sure that the fate of the multiverse is intact, not that big of a deal." He says sarcastically while shaking his head. You chuckled at his tone of response. "Wow, sounds really boring." You reply. He turns his head slightly to look at you over his shoulder with a stern look before turning back. "Yeah, really boring." He says back before taking a deep sigh.
"Well, I think you're due for a break right about now." You say, jumping off his back and standing next to him. "How's about we go to the cafeteria and get some lunch?" You say, snapping your fingers and pointing at him.
"No, I can't leave this." He says, not even letting his eyes leave the screen.
"Okay.. how about I bring your food here and you actually eat something?" You say as you cross your arms. He sighed, knowing you weren't gonna let it go.
"I'm good, (Y/N)." He says, his eyes drifting to you.
You groan and throw your head back. "You know, one of these days, I'm just gonna tie you down and force feed you." You jokingly say as you walk back towards him.
"I don't think that'd be easy for you." He says, giving a rare grin across his lips.
"Hey, I'm Spiderman just like you buddy, don't think I can't do it." You say, pointing up at him with a smile.
"No I-I'm sure you could." He smirks, putting his hands on his hips. You smiled wide as you looked up at him.
You jumped up and wrapped your legs around his waist and arms around his shoulders like before, but this time you were facing him. He reached one of his large hands down to lay on your lower back for support.
"You better be careful mister, I can be pretty dangerous you know." You say in a nonchalant joking tone, pointing your finger in his face.
"Oh, yeah no, I bet." He agrees as he smiles while shaking his head.
"Y'know, it'd be a lot easier to stay mad at you if you weren't such a pretty man." You joke as you lay your hands on either sides of his defined cheeks. He raises an eyebrow with a small smirk.
You leaned in and pressed your lips against his. His whole body relaxed as he exhaled and closed his eyes. You pulled away and he pressed his forehead against yours, not wanting to move. His eyes stayed closed as he took a deep breath before pulling back and finally gazing upon you with now soft eyes. You smiled softly, knowing that's what he waited for all day.
"Okay, well I'm gonna go get those empanadas." You say as you jump down from his arms and begin walking backwards. "You better eat them or swear to God, I'm getting handcuffs." You say as you turn around and swing away. Miguel chuckled and shook his head. Out of all the people around him, he was happiest to have you there, even if you 'annoy' him sometimes.

“W-What, what did you say?” Maybe you heard wrong, maybe what just happened was all part of an elusive bad dream. Maybe, you still had the opportunity to wake up!
The living room contained colorful throw pillows and the plush velvet couch your mother gave you. When Franklin stood, he rounded the brown coffee table to approach you. For whatever reason your feet kept making distance. Backward and backward until the hard wall made it no longer possible to travel any further. Too late, you stood there as he met you.
Did you ever notice how much taller he was than you? Probably at some point. In the moment though, you couldn't be certain of anything, but the height difference was greatly intimidating.
You clutched onto your notebook, hoping that Whoopi would perform some miracle and save you up outta this mess. But she remained plastered on the outer workings of the thin cover board intact and still, just as she always had. Her beaming smile no longer provided comfort. She'd spilled all the secrets she'd sworn to protect, and for that, you could never forgive.
In your plotting against Whoopi, Franklin lowered his head, closing space and bringing you both closer to each other. He could whisper in your ear if he wanted to. That’s how close he came. Instead he lowered his gaze, then you watched his eyes shut. All you could think about was Mexico.
“I didn't want it to be you. Didn’t wanna believe it,” he said. “But since it is...”
You were looking at a different pair of eyes when Franklin opened his. You watched him direct his attention over to where he'd sat the backpack. Curious, you looked on in the same direction. When he faced you, You couldn't meet his stare. The intensity burned on him like fire, and his tone of voice had shifted. You were at a loss for words. This Franklin that had towered over you, scared you.
“Excu- wha- I don't.”
For some reason you just couldn't make them bitches articulate right. There was a grin that came and went so quick on him, you couldn't be sure that you’d seen it at all.
“He put you up to this? Teddy…”
You narrowed your stare. Not at him at first but the backpack, trying to comb through your mind. All was quiet as you scrambled to figure out just what the hell he was talking about. No one in class had that name.
“I'm sorry. You lost me. Who the hell is Teddy?” you said in one breath.
Hold up a minute. Let's Rewind ⏪
The sun slowly sank behind the Los Angeles skyline. Leon took a sip of his drink, a very expensive cognac and flipped to the next page. The music from the club bounced against the walls, but didn’t cause enough of a distraction that what he’d just read was lost on him. He allowed his deep brown hues to trace over words written in blue ink, finishing off the last sentence on the page. When he closed the front, greeted with a smiling Whoopi Goldberg, he offered a strange scowl. Shaking his head he'd laughed and directed his attention up at Franklin.
“Damn nigga. Wasn’t expecting to know you in such an intimate way. Not that I ever wanted to.”
Leon tossed the notebook. It landed on the coffee table to lay among some empty shot glasses Louie kept for guests and an ashtray requested by Leon, that he used to set his dying doobie.
“If you ain’t already fucked her. Based on that, she sure thinks you have.”
Franklin paced the floor before he found a seat across from Leon. He put up a hand after he lowered his head.
“All that shit aside Lee. What about the rest of it? I mean it’s almost coded like she knows. About everything. Curtis sounds like Rob, and Donovon sounds like Avi. Fuckin Marco sounds like Oso. The gotdamn FBI is the CIA. Fuck!”
Leon remained composed despite the sudden outburst of frustration.
“Yeah. I peeped that too. You think she one of um? Like maybe she workin’ for him.”
Franklin sighed and shrugged his shoulders. “Shit man. Your guess is as good as mine. I dunno. Could be. Outta nowhere he shows back up.”
Like he couldn't sit still in one place for too long, Franklin got up and walked over to the window. Pretty soon the sun disappeared completely, letting the city lights take over, which created a dazzling display of colors and lights.
“He never did like me branchin’ into real estate. Felt like it would draw too much attention. Like Alton. He shook his head and shoved his hands deep within his pockets. “Naw. Wouldn't put it past Teddy to do no shit like that. Her being in that class would make sense then. Keep an eye without havin’ to get his hands dirty.”
Leon sat up, grabbed the doobie, and turned it in the ashtray to kill the lingering ember. “Well that's not really far-fetched. I never understood why yo’ ass was there in the first place ta’ be honest.”
Franklin turned to face him. “For the knowledge Lee. Wanted to make sure I was goin’ bout shit the right way. I don't give a fuck about the piece of paper they give you at the end. But ta know how.”
Leon smirked at the seriousness in the words. “Well okay then college boy. But a couple trips to the library woulda’ probably done the job.”
Franklin lifted his chin and shut his eyes. “I don’t know. It’s just way too detailed ta’ make me comfortable just leavin’ it alone.” He picked up the notebook. “Besides that, I brought her to my house. She could have it bugged. Cervalence on the operation. Now she won't answer.” He faced the phone. “Ignoring my pages. She must know I have it.”
“Whelp. If that's the case you got less than twenty four hours. Can't take that much to get on a plane and bounce up outta this motherfucka. If that ain't the case already. Know what I'm sayin'.”
Franklin looked down through the window onto the dance floor filled with bodies. Eugene Wilde’s ‘Gotta get you home tonight’, filling their bones with smooth soulful rhythm. “Yeah. I know what you sayin'. I need to make a move,” He offered. I know where she stay at.”
“Either way, looks like you’ll be livin’ up to the name, one way or another, nigga.”
Franklin nodded. “Yeah. Listen. Let’s keep this between us, huh. I don’t think it’s that serious where we need to involve Jerome and Louie.”
“I hear you.” Leon held onto a grin and gave a head nod to Franklin’s pistol that rested on the counter of the table before he leaveld himself into a comfortable position in the arm chair. “So. What it gon’ be Saint? How you finna play this?”
Franklin held his gaze over the gun then raised his chin before his eyes crossed with Leon’s.
…
8:25PM. Franklin made his way through the bustling Los Angeles.
The city lights illuminated his path over the dark street as he drove with the sounds of cars and music blaring in the background. Crisp night air flowed through open windows, carrying the beat of the entire city with it. Franklin turned up the radio and added his voice along to the last few lines of his favorite tune as the ending came.
Replaced by the radio announcer, he leveled his focus when the next song filled within the speakers.
‘Celebrate good times, come on.’
He sat back and and with a sigh veered off as he took the next right down a half lit street.
He parked after driving one more block just as the last bit of lyrics filled his ears, ‘It's a celebration…’ had taken him right in front of the apartment building.
The last time he heard the song, it was raining.
Shutting of the engine, Franklin waited, then reached over to open the glove compartment. He pulled out the notebook, lifted his shirt and slipped it underneath. He reached to grab the pistol sitting in plain view, and the yellow backpack on the passenger seat to sit it inside.
He walked to the door at 8:45PM and knocked four good knocks. Voices on the other side halted. Grabbing the strap on the backpack he put on a smile just seconds before the door opened.
OKAY, NOW BACK TO THE SHOW! ▶️
“You really gonna stand here in my face and act like you don't know what I'm talkin' about? Who are you?” He said through gritted teeth.
“Franklin, are you actually on something? What do you mean who am I? Seriously, who is Teddy? How would he even know about the notebook? It was just for me.”
“Oh. Just for you, huh? Yeah, so your tryna fuck shit up for me all by yourself?”
“What!” You blurted out. “No, fuck up for you? What are you talking about?”
“My bidness!” Franklin shouted.
You flinched, he said that word so passionately that you stayed with it. “What business? The project at school?” You asked. Suddenly you'd gotten mad. This was turning into a full blown argument and something deep inside you brought in an unknown courage to stand up for yourself. You raised your arms and pushed him back creating much needed space between you both.
“Look. I told you I was sorry,” you shouted back at him with just as much passion. “Yeah, I shoulda showed up that day we made plans to meet at the library. Helped you out. It was juvenile, stupid. I never meant to put your grade in jeopardy.”
“My grade?”
“Yes, isn’t that why you're so pissed off?”
Franklin’s expression displayed pure confusion. “So you're telling me that you…” He trailed off and never finished, standing there looking like he had fallen into some sudden forum of private thought.
“That I what?” You said in effort to press whatever he was thinking out into the open. Instead of clarity, he offered you a calmer demeanor, vastly different from his passion filled glare.
“You really don’t know what I'm talkin’ bout, do you?”
You shrugged your shoulders. “No. I don't. Like your business degree path I’m guessing.” You were still trying to figure it all out. “I don’t even know anything about your business. We didn't talk about anything like that. Like a business you start after the certification? But I wouldn’t, fuck that up.” You looked down and tapped the notebook before you looked at him. “This. I wasn’t out to hurt you. Like black mail or some shit.”
“What's the truth?”
“The truth?”
Scary words that carried the weight of the world, and at the same time the very pile of shit Enrique had encouraged you to take care of. There was nowhere to run. Nothing to hide behind.
“The truth is. I like you Franklin. Just too scared to tell you.” You shrugged. “Story of my life. Just shy. Probably a little outta this world or weird in some things. I don’t have the confidence to really go at it. See. I’m always terrified of the outcome. In order to cope, I uh, write. Imagine or whatever. Juicy isn’t really me. Just like Saint ain't really you.”
You sniffed. Were those tears?
“I could never be as confident as her,” you continued. “I made it all up. All it was was just my own way of coping with my own loneliness. Got tired of seeing everyone else around me happy. Content. So I made that happy place for me where no one could touch. Where I could be myself, or other versions I wanted to be.” You wiped at your cheeks. “It was nice. Feeling like I had someone that could really understand me. Someone I know had my back, no matter what. Someone I could take on the world with.” You moved your attention toward the window that held so much symbolism in the span of one long grueling day. “You don’t know how many times I tried to find all that in the real world. Or how bad I wanted it. Juicy and Saint have it.” Your eyes slowly left the window and back on Franklin. “But I know it isn’t real.”
He hadn't taken his focus away. Even as you moved, his stare moved right along with you and your words.
“So even though it was messed up. Which I admit, and am in no way making an excuse for. Just think how hard it is to stand before you right now and say all this. I worked so hard to get this damn notebook back… Did things I probably wouldn't have. But I was desperate. Because. Because I never wanted you to know me like this,” your voice shook.
Franklin raised his chin, listening sure, but he still said nothing.
“Who’s to say, we probably could have had a thing if it wasn’t for all this dumb shit I pulled. I could've just asked you out for a burrito at Mr. El Taco’s like I wanted to. It all seemed better in my head. I mean. Maybe we could have talked, got to know each other. It was nice talking to you when we were working on the project at your house away from class. And the ride home. I wasn't trippin’ that night we danced in the rain, was I? Feeling like maybe there could have been more to that moment?” You sniffed and shook your head. “But then you pulled away so I guess not. Wishful thinking.” You sucked in a breath. “I'm sorry Franklin, I shouldn't have dragged you into my own personal misery. But I didn't plan to ever show anyone. Or embarrass you in any way. And if I have, I never meant to.”
You hated how he looked at you. How his eyes made you feel small. You couldn’t read his expression. Not only that, but you had just bared your entire soul. For the longest, no one knew that truth about you, but you. But now Franklin knew. He knew just how pathetic you were. A daydreaming coward, with pages and pages of what if’s…
It all became way too overwhelming and you rushed past him rounding the corner to the bathroom, where you slammed the door shut before throwing the godforsaken notebook that had caused you the worst humiliation you’d ever experienced.
As it hit the inside of the shower your back pressed on the door and you slid to the floor, knees up and head bowed down on top of them. You sucked in air and let out a shaky breath. You tried your best to stifle your crying but you couldn’t fight the urge anymore. You wrapped your arms around your legs and rocked.
With the thought of the project in your mind, how you would make an excuse about skipping the day of the presentation became a present concern. How instead it would be better to just drop the class all together and maybe take it again once Franklin left.
Knock knock. You heard your name from the other side of the wood. It had your heart pounding, but you made no effort to turn toward his voice, or open the door for him.
“Hey. Come on.”
Really, was there anything else left to say? You shook your head knowing he couldn’t see it. So you took a deep breath. “Um, no Franklin. I kinda just wanna forget everything. If you know what I mean. I just wanna be left alone.”
“Please.”
You shot up from your place on the floor and took hold of the handle, turning it until the water rushed out. Twisting the knob on the wall, the shower started up. With it all the way on ‘hot’, steam began to fill the room. You found your place at the door as you watched the mirror cloud until it disappeared within the light fog you’d created.
“No. I’m taking a shower, okay. Just…” You shut your eyes. The words were hard to say but for once there was strength that showed itself. You’d taken care of the pile of shit, as horrible an analogy Enrique gave earlier that morning, but that’s how you cleaned up the mess. Admitting, and letting go and steaming yourself to death. You waved some away from your teary eyes. “Go home,” you whispered just barely.
You felt like you sat there for days. The water running made it hard to hear anything from the other side, but you thought you heard the door close. He had left and you rested your head before getting up and cutting the shower and water off. It was over. You placed a hand over your heart to make sure it was still there. You must have been in that bathroom for twenty minutes, or more. You may have felt dead inside, but your hair had a field day with all the moisture it obtained. Well, at least there was that.
You opened the door. The steamed jumped from behind you to reach the surrounding room only to dissipate later after its courageous flight into the unknown. With your eyes on the front door you walked over turning the lock.
“Have a good shower?”
You bout jumped from your skin. You made a turn with your whole body, wide eyes and ready for a fight.
“What the hell are you still doing here? I thought you left?”
He shook his head with a casual effort to lightly shrug his shoulders. “Naw. We needed to talk. Still do.”
You noticed his hand. An apple, one from your share held tightly in his grasp half eaten. The walls were painted a soft cream color, giving the apartment a warm and inviting feel. Maybe that was why Franklin felt so at home.
You huffed. “But I don't wanna talk to you, Franklin. I don't have anything else to say.”
Franklin took a bite and chewed, mouth full as he spoke to you. “Okay. Then I'll talk. You just listen.”
He sat the apple down on the kitchen counter and stood in your direction.
“I'll admit. Finding that notebook. Reading what you wrote. It was all a little weird for me.”
Great. So he was gonna stand there and tell you what you already knew. He thought you to be a fucking weirdo psychopath stalker. Strange, outta the ordinary.
“I mean. The detail was insane. Then I thought, well damn, why is she in finance class? You could write a book. A good one too.”
Was it too soon to smile? You'd never gotten a compliment about your writing. Not unless it was technical. That was usually only by professors. The one time you had decided to share it had been a let down. It damaged you, and scarred you to silence. Whoopi wasn't the first. You thought he would finish, but Franklin just kept on.
“Then I also thought. I wish she would've just told me.”
Your heart began to speed in its beat pattern.
“Because then I could have said how I really felt.”
You wanted so desperately to ask how, but your speech had fled. You were unable to speak, romanced in solely to the word felt. How did he really feel?
Franklin grinned as he took a seat on one of the nearby chairs. After he made himself comfortable, he looked up in your direction.
“I always looked forward to class on Wednesday cause I knew I'd get to see you. I'd pay close attention to the answers you gave, how you always knew your shit. How you exceeded this confidence for yourself that made you so attractive to me. I mean don’t get me wrong, Juicy is bad, but she's only bad because she's fashioned after you. And when you laugh, it's just like playing my favorite song.” Franklin licked his lips. “You would always look good. Look like you put time into the details of everything you wore, all the way down to the pattern or that little speck of color on your earrings. There were days that I pretended you were doing that especially for me. And if you were, I noticed.”
If he only knew. Your lips parted at this revelation, this confession. He went on…
“Whenever we talked, it was like you could really hear me. Then reading the notebook felt like being exposed in a way. I understand that. That need. That desire for that one. That one you could build an empire wit, cuz y'all shit that tight and solid. Like, it wouldn't matter if the whole world turned its back. I got you, you got me.” Franklin shook his head. “I don't know, juicy and Saint made it seem like a love like that might still be possible. Not hopeless. That if something like that couldn't be found. At least it could be built.”
You almost wanted to tear up, and even more than that, ball your eyes out, but the whole situation was already beyond dramatic. You had done enough crying in the bathroom with the steam overload. Instead, you breathed out the breath you had held up and smiled at him. A genuine smile to what he said about you amidst all the other shit.
"Well damn, Franklin. Write me to pieces. Nobody ever said anything like that so nice to me before. I mean. So real. Everything always seemed one sided. See it was always me with all these feelings. Never the other party. Unrequited."
“Not this time.”
You chuckled wiping at your eyes as you lowered your head. Those words, so sweet, you could eat um.
"To be completely honest,” he continued. “I was feelin’ you from the very beginning. That first day I walked into the class. But uh, I didn't know you were taken. When I found out, I backed up. That night in the rain tho'. I was tempted to say fuck it and kiss you. I thought about that night a lot since then. And now that song. It reminds me of us.”
You were left frozen by the confession, cloud nine Temptation style. “Really, Franklin?”
A small laugh left him. “Yeah. But I don't ever wanna step on another niggas toes, so. That's why I never made a move. Truth be told, I like Mr. El Tacos too. Enrique’s good people. He woulda’ given us the hook up. And I would have loved to grab a burrito wit’ you."
Damn so he actually knew Enrique, and uh…..
Record scratch…..
"Hold on. Pause. Back up. What do you mean, taken? I'm sorry. Who's toes would you exactly be stepping on?" You combed through your mind for a possible answer after catching on to what he’d said. A vital part you missed up on the cloud. This one totally stumped you. For the life of you, you couldn't figure it out. Who was he talking about!
"My boy Will said y'all had a thing. And from the way y'all interact in class, I mean…" he shrugged his shoulders, smiled and stared at you from his position on the chair he sat on.
Maybe Franklin wasn't as perceptive or as sharp as you thought. Couldn't be if he believed such a lie! Even a fool knew that was born in fables. You had this blank stare, all you could see in your view was red.
"I am going to jail for murder. I can't. That nigga really told you I was, okay where's my knife at?"
You had begun to rummage through the surrounding drawers and cabinets. Had you not been so angry you would have discovered it in the pocket of your purse. Where you always kept it.
Franklin watched only for a minute before he got up laughing and waving his arms as he met you nearing the front door. "Wow wow, chill. Calm down. It's coo.”
“The hell it is. He lyin’ like that? Nun uh.”
Had you known that Will was the reason you’d missed out on the chance of a rain kiss, you would have choked him out the day he slid you the spy binoculars.
“So what you sayin', y'all not together?”
“Franklin. Seriously. I'm offended you'd even ask. Hell no no no and Definitely not ever! What do I look like hugged up with baby Curtis blow?”
Franklin laughed, he laughed so much he put a hand on his stomach. You didn't laugh, you had a permanent face of disgust, which only intensified with Franklin’s laughing fit. It really wasn't that damn funny. Franklin moved his hands up and down each of your arms possibly as a way of calming you. It did as much to keep you in one place at least.
“Okay okay, it's alright. I got the answer I was lookin' for,” he said and grinned some as his laughing eventually stopped. “Let the man keep his life. So he couldn't help himself. Saw somethin' special and wanted to mark his territory. I get it.” His eyes moved over you before he raised his chin and the smile grew on him. “Looks like I got here first tho'."
You weren't sure why your heart fluttered at those words but you rubbed your lips together trying to contain a smile before you looked up at him. The new sensation that found you so suddenly felt right, somehow. You noticed, and wondered if he did too.
"Franklin,” you whispered. “Your hand is on my ass."
He held his gaze. "You want me to move it?"
You held your gaze too. "No."
You were soon like magnets to each other. This unseen force was pulling, easing you closer together all the way until your lips connected.
It was the most anticipated kiss you ever had in your life. You'd lost the opportunity in the rain that night heading back to your place, but this made up for it. For forever you contemplated what it would be like to kiss him. Every single Wednesday you sat in finance class staring at his lips, wondering what they would feel like over yours. Many things you couldn't describe to yourself. All you could be certain was that now that you were living this fantasy, his lips were extremely soft.
The softest!
In your savoring the moment, Franklin had groaned, eager for more. His warm tongue pushed for entry into your mouth, and once he squeezed your ass, it was all signed, sealed and delivered. You invited him eagerly, things going from sweet to indefinitely hungry in the split of a second!
You weren't sure what possessed you to do it, but you'd found the edge of his shirt, and with curious fingers proceeded underneath its fabric to satisfy your wonderings.
Saint had these incredible abs that Juicy liked to feel up. Didn't matter what occasion. She just liked to touch him. You were eager to see how the real Franklin showed up. The area between your legs offered you some kind of signal when you felt how firm and hard they actually were, and the wetness you despised came all at once dosing your underwear. He worked out, though you could barely ever tell with what he wore. You grew greedy. Now you wanted the shirt off and gone so you could see.
Letting your cheek go free, Franklin had busied himself with removing his jacket. He struggled, but you gladly offered help in getting it to come all the way off. Your kissing had not yet ceased in the entire process. Tongues in a vicious battle, each trying to dominate. You sneaked up a hand to sit on the side of Franklin's face. It eventually made its place around his neck and without realizing it, you both had started to move around the living room with him asking for directions.
“Where,” Kiss, “Your room at?” Kiss.
Your lips were damn near swollen when you briefly pulled back to point him toward the right path. He obliged and placed one of his hands to the lower part of your back to guide you both there safely. You passed the suitcase filled with clothes along the way and made it into the bedroom, going until the bed became your final destination.
Franklin’s shoes were the first thing to come off. You had gathered your T-shirt over your head and threw it down somewhere on the floor. And the discarding of clothes continued. Your pants, his pants. Your bra. His shirt. Your hands stopped moving. Eyes locked onto his bare chest and broad shoulders. Franklin grinned. You blinked yourself back when he caught you, going to remove your socks next.
“Naw.” He said to counter. “Leave those on. I like um.”
You tilted your head and gave him this weirdly stupid grin as he made his way over to the bed still in his boxers and socks crawling over you.
Just like that, the kissing started back up. When he'd decide to leave your lips to explore the bare skin that presented a trail of temptation, you watched.
By and by he slid his tongue. You became lost in ecstasy and wanting. His journey stopped at your breasts. Franklin hovered over one nipple and pressed his lips down to suck. You couldn't decide where they felt the best. He didn't leave your other breast abandoned. Moving from one to the other he conducted the same action. Then he moved his tongue just under the areola and pressed a kiss. Wet kisses continued all the way to your navel, moving up to your neck then back down to the skin around your belly button.
“Ahhhh, Franklin,” You moaned, reveling in all the little memory markers he made over your skin.
“That feels so good.”
You could literally feel his smile. With both hands, he grabbed the band of your panties and slid the fabric up and over your knees before he tossed them.
“Damn.”
“What!” You were just about to get self conscious. He sounded shocked. Somethings wrong, you thought. He doesn't like it! Me! He doesn't like me. The way I look? Oh hell! But then… you heard him let out a breath and you looked down just in time to catch him looking down at you. You wondered what the hell it was he saw.
“Mmmm,” he smirked. “Pussy that fuckin’ juicy, already? I ain’t even do nothin’ yet.”
All the worry vanished, you sighed and laid on your back with a small roll of the eyes. The nickname Saint had given to story you! It definitely held merit. You swore, that damn bitch between your legs had a mind of her own. You always had an extra pair of panties handy because you never knew when she might act up.
Caught off guard, Franklin had taken it upon himself to cup your entire mound, undoubtedly coating his hand in your wetness. Your body jerked at the slow massage he began to apply, while you listened to the sounds it made in the quiet of the room. Electricity ran through places inside your body you didn’t know existed. To feel his lips encircle one of your nipples was like the ultimate sensation with his hand situated in the place you only ever imagined it to be.
You were already breathless by the time Franklin spread your thighs and bent down between your legs. His tongue lapped at your inner core until you were more wet than before, almost to the point of dripping as your body shook under the presence of his warm tongue. He was kissing you there like he’d kissed your lips in the living room.
You extended your fingers to touch his head and run over the tight coils of his thick wooly hair, begging him to inch his marvelous muscle deeper inside you, only unable to say it out loud. All rational speech had gone from you. All you were able to do was cry out and bite your lip to try and stifle the moans. As Franklin closed his lips around the outer structure of your pussy and sucked generously on different areas, your leg found its place on his shoulder. You were gasping in air at the overwhelming sensations. Air that never seemed quiet enough.
You were at a crossroads, you wanted him deeper, but you also wanted to push him away. The intensity had your back arched as Franklin decided to run his thumb over your clit before his lips pulled at the delicate flesh to tease. His grunts rippled deep into your throbbing walls. His face became covered in all your juices. Nose and mouth. He offered your pussy one last kiss, lapping up what he could before your legs began to shake. You could no longer control them. It was like your body had a mind of his own. Sure, you’d been eaten out before, but never like this. Franklin sat up, his thumb still at your clit, only his thumb rubbed at a quicker pace driving you crazy. Your hand bunched up with sheet and some blanket. Eyes rolling to the back of your head before a line of liquid shot from your urethra. The feeling made you look down at yourself suddenly. No use trying to stop it, more came. Then more. Shit, you thought. Had you just peed on yourself? You were nervous to look in Franklin’s direction. What would he think, what would he say? You braved yourself a glance, finding that instead his face had lit up. Proud, fascinated, hell, dare your observation make out delight running across his deeply melanated features as he slid his hand down over his mouth with the brief indent of a light dimple on his cheek.
“Dammmmmn. Squirting like that. All for me.”
So thaaaaaat’s what Candy was talking about. An ah ha moment. Finally you knew exactly what an organism felt like.
“Makes me wonder how it’s gon’ feel around me.” Franklin pulled at the band on his boxers and down they went until only his white socks remained on him. You had no time to see what he was working with before he moved and made himself comfortable between your legs with his face just inches away from yours. His dick felt like a rock brushing against a part of your thigh.
“Hm. Taste.” He leaned and kissed you, tongue and all. This combination of your essence and remnants of apple. Damn, this nigga was so nasty. You loved it.
This was really about to happen! Sex with Franklin Saint. You were over the moon, ecstatic, the happiest girl on the planet even. Finally! Fucking finally you were getting something you really wanted. But then a thought. You called it out abruptly to warrant its importance. You were horny sure, but not crazy.
“Franklin, wait wait hold on. What about protection?” You whispered beneath him.
He licked his lips, and looked down at you like you were speaking some foreign language he didn’t understand.
“What?”
“Condom.” You clarified. “Got one?”
Franklin shook his head. “Naw. We good. I got you, I'll pull out.” He kissed you then moved to a spot on your neck, running his tongue over a previous bruise he’d left.
That made you forget your statement, well almost. You’ll pull out, nigga really? Your logic was screaming at you. Bitch get up. You really gon' let this nigga raw dawg you! Your body betrayed you though, disloyal like a motherfucka, and you lifted up pressing deeper into another one of his kisses when you felt a hand run across the inner part of your thigh. Many a night your own hand had been there, but the sensation was to no comparison. You’d take Franklin's hand in between your legs over your own any day. You wanted this, so bad. To feel what story you felt. What you only imagined. For once you chose to be selfish. Let him be the one thing you did for yourself. Let this night be your story to tell. Not just a story this time. But then yet another thought flooded your mind, Babies. Immediately you moved your lips from under the kiss and your eyes met. Fuck your body! You could literally feel your pussy purr for him. Betraying your rational mind. The one Candy swore up and down you lacked. You threw your head back, annoyed by the push and pull of your own thoughts. You wanted to know what he would feel like inside you, but you weren't sure you wanted the responsibility that came with it. It might not happen, but there was always a possibility. Your cousin told you a similar story about the ‘pull out method’ her dude used. That was three kids later.
"I'm serious, Franklin." You sucked in a breath. "We need protection."
Suddenly that smile that made you weak emerged and Franklin moved his hand to reach down over the edge of the bed to grab his pants and dig in his pocket. When you saw his hand come back he was holding a condom decorated in gold. This motherfucker. Willy Wonka's golden ticket to go to the chocolate factory! Hot damn y'all was back in business. You took a mental note of the words on the wrapper before you found his gaze. Fuuuuuuuuuck. You were about to be destroyed. Would your shit even stretch enough to take it all in? To be determined.
He chuckled. "Just tryna see where ya head was at babe."
What this nigga say? He was testing you now? Who was mind fucking who? But really, the word Babe sounded nice rolling off his tongue and directed solely at you, in the potion you’d found yourself. You wondered, could it be turning into more? You were sure you could get used to it.
You watched him focus on tearing the wrapper open. You wanted to ask if he walked around with condoms on hand, or if he had all this planned out. You had a feeling it might be the second option. Franklin was strategic, just by the way you observed him in class with some of the things he’d said. He didn't appear to be a fuck boy like Francisco. Either way you were no longer pulling the strings. Franklin was in the lead which was more of a turn on then you thought it would be and for once you weren’t the one writing the story. Back to reality and the moment he reached down to put the condom on, you looked up at the ceiling. You had been withholding some vital information that might be important for what would soon come. But how to say it.
“Alright. We good now.”
You felt his lips and you opened your mouth to let your tongues play a little with each other.
During all that Franklin slipped his hand between your legs running his fingers over your slippery folds. His dick was so close it was like an added heat. That golden ticket to pure imagination! You caught onto one of his arms almost immediately. His eyes opened and he broke the kiss.
“What?”
"Don't you fuckin' hurt me Franklin.” You held in before you breathed out. “I ain't ever done this before." The secret was unleashed, but this one couldn't wait.
There was a pause, like he needed to soak in the new information for a moment. A smile found him and he licked his lips. “A virgin?”
You rolled your eyes. “Yes nigga. That’s usually what never done this before means.”
“A virgin,” he repeated.
Now the smile on his face seemed stupid and you smacked your teeth somewhat embarrassed.
“See, you tryna clown on me, move.”
You made an effort to push up in order to get from under him. It was a futile attempt. Franklin’s strength alone was no match. He didn’t even try all that much in strain and effort to stop you.
“Naw. It’s just.” He paused. “I mean, are you sure you wanna do this, wit’ me? No turning back once you do.”
That really had sounded like some Bonnie and Clyde shit. No turning back. But he wasn’t wrong. But then, why the fuck wouldn’t you go through with it? You knew you would regret it if you told him to get up and go home. That all you should be focused on was some damn Finance project. If you were crazy enough to even suggest such a thing, would another opportunity ever come around again? After all that happened over the past few days, hell the past few hours, arriving at the point you had, not turning back made sense. You were willing to go all the way. Be selfish, and think about the consequences later. Who could really say they’d even got such an opportunity with a certain someone they’d liked so terribly. Not many you knew at least, and what was wrong with walking away with a story to tell? You moved one of your hands to rest on his cheek. You lifted your head to kiss him, and once your lips parted you nodded with a small smile. “I want to. I can’t think of anyone else I’ve wanted to do this with more, Franklin.”
He never took his eyes off you. It was like they drank you in, little by little.
“I’m just kinda scared, that’s all. Worried I guess about a thing, fitting into a certain place. I saw what that damn wrapper said.”
Franklin dropped his head and you could feel the vibrations of a very light chuckle. Once it subsided he brought his gaze back.
“No seriously. I didn’t expect that. Just please don’t hurt me, okay,” you said almost pleadingly.
Franklin leaned down closer to whisper in your ear, "Imma do it just like you wrote it baby…."
Whhhhhhhhhy! Your body must have melted into the mattress. The way he said it, how he looked at you when he said it. All you could think then was which part. You’d had so many chapters filled with words about you and him doing, thangs. You blushed at such thoughts, but your mahogany completion wouldn't allow no shit like that to be visibly seen. Good thing too. Franklin couldn't know he had you so completely. Too much confidence could be bad for a person even though you were sure by now that he could feel the heat radiating off your body calling to him. Your inexperience, nervousness, and excitement rolled all into one. You stifled a giggle, moving a hand to cover your mouth. Why the fuck did you just laugh? Damn, you were so awkward!
Franklin reached up to pull your hand away. "You trust me?"
Strange question and one that came out of the blue. "Well. Guess I don't have any choice but to." The situation had kinda called for it, you thought at least.
"I'm forreal. Do you trust me?" He asked for the second time. There was something different about his voice that said he wasn’t bullshitting. Something in his tone that asserted dominance. A tone that required clarity from you. He was so close to your face that your heartbeat sped up. If it went any faster you would have a heart attack. Determined not to look away from his eyes you held your gaze. Those long eyelashes that you loved in full view this time, up close and personal. You swallowed down your nerves.
"I trust you, Franklin," had of course been your answer. You would wear this nigga name out, you were almost certain of it. You said it every other sentence, but then, it felt natural leaving your lips. Like it belonged to them.
He smiled and proceeded to move closer to plant a gentle kiss.
“Good. Now just relax, and let me give you a good experience.”
Good Experience. Hm. You liked the sound of that. Franklin rose up on his knees. He moved closer to your opening and placed the head of his decorated shaft between your slippery folds. He toppled over ready to push inside. You hissed and sucked in a couple deep breaths through your teeth and shifted, in an effort to get comfortable as your pussy tried to spread wide enough to accommodate his size.
When he moved a little more you shut your eyes and shook your head.
“Oh, F-Franklin, I don’t know. I don’t think it's gonna fit, I. It’s too much, Uh, it’s too much…”
“I can stop,” he mellowed from above, although his face really told a different story than the understanding words that left him.
When you didn’t say anything, Franklin went to move himself back, taking with him the little bit of inch that his length managed inside you.
Coming to your senses, you halted his attempt with a grip on his shoulder and wide pleading eyes to follow. “No don't, I want this. I wanna make love to you..” You brought his head down and kissed him. “Just. Keep going. But really slow. I gotta get used to the feeling. It’s super intense.” You frowned and wondered if you could really do it. “Sorry,” you offered meekly.
“It’s okay,” Franklin whispered, leaning in to press his lips on your forehead. “Just relax for me.”
You could feel his fingers glide over the skin on your thigh. The light vibrations sent a spring of butterflies loose in your stomach. Not at all good for your stomach, but it somehow started to ease up the bent up tension in your body. Even being butt ass naked, him seeing you in all your glory and vice versa, was not enough to bring on the kind of ecstasy that him touching you brought. It’s what you’d wished for, imagined since the first time you’d laid eyes on him.
“You gotta let up on your muscles. Let your body go loose,” Franklin suggested. He began to move away from your forehead, administering light kisses on your cheek, the place under your lips, just below your chin. “I promise, the pain won’t stay. Just relax baby. Relax…” he soothed as his voice faded. “Trust me.”
You held on to all the things you felt, closing your eyes to lose yourself in this moment of bliss. “I trust you,” you spoke into the room before you’d pulled in your bottom lip and noticed that familiar rock hard sensation traveling over your folds once again. “I trust you,” you said as it echoed in your mind.
Franklin said your name, you opened your eyes. “Look at me,” he commanded.
When your sight moved from the wall and back down to Franklin, you watched his lidded hues as you felt a heavy pressure overtake you slowly but, more and more. Your mouth flew open out of instinct. “Breath…” you heard Franklin say as you watched his mouth. You breathed and more of the same heavy pressure filled you up. You whimpered as you felt him bury inside your pussy inch by inch, but never did you break your gaze until naturally your face nuzzled into his neck. Your teeth grazing the soft flesh where his carotid throbbed. This time it was Franklin's mouth that opened.
You wondered at that moment what it felt like for him. Judging by his facial expression, the feeling was indescribable, maybe even one of pleasure? For you it hurt. It all hurt like hell. You noted Franklin’s arms, his biceps and the veins that began to make themselves visible. You could tell he was trying with all his power not to hurt you, go as slow and gentle as he possibly could. He moved against you, just barely.
“You okay.” He asked.
You nodded your head. “Y-Yeah. keep going…” Your hands clung to Franklin’s shoulders while your eyes leaked salty tears, and he buried himself inside you. He waited, letting you get used to his size. You felt him tear through your hymen with one last push, and with that, he’d taken your virginity. The worst was over. Despite the pain you lifted your hips eager to move past what Franklin promised would only last for a short while.
Franklin met your lips and began to move. Euphoria overwhelmed you, causing your hips to tilt to succumb fully to him. Mewls of pleasure bellowed out in a moan. Hearing this from him made the butterflies come back. The sound of his voice in such an erotic manner had you wanting to open your legs a little wider. Unable to fight the sudden urge you did just that and Franklin catching on to your invitation began to pump into you. It was uncomfortable, but his added thrust had been guided entirely by your arousal. Finally that bitch had come in handy with her water works! Franklin continued to move in and out, picking up the pace each time he did. The pain began to disappoint as the time carried on, until eventually you no longer felt it. Instead discomfort was now replaced by this new found pleasure, and you wondered in the silent places of your mind how better this might all feel without the condom as Franklin stole the opportunity to kiss you.
When the kiss broke he started pumping into you with your eyes locked. You cried out into his mouth, but his kiss swallowed up the sound
“So fuckin’ beautiful…” he mumbled through a staggered breath and over your lips. As you began to rock your hips matching his stride your muscles did something Franklin must've felt. He let out a moan that made him lower his head and close his eyes. A quiet, “Mmmmm,” escaping from deep in his throat. You got a peek of his face and fuck you we're falling in love.
Franklin was always saying all the right things but something about his moment of vulnerability made you more aroused. Just as he held power, so did you. Your muscles had tightened on that dick like a vice grip, and just like that you’d become the fox instead of the helpless rabbit.
You remembered something in Chapter five. Something that Juicy had done to Saint to drive him crazy during one of their many hot and sensual love making sessions.
You flexed your coochie muscles, releasing him only to clench down again while you lifted your head just enough so that your tongue ran over the back of his ear. As you expected, it had an effect. Franklin’s body shook, dare you call it a convulsing shiver ran straight down that nigga’s spine and right away he groaned out this muffled “Fuuuuck,” into a nearby pillow. Proud of yourself you grinned. Whatever pain present in the beginning had long since left you, replaced with greed, for more and more of him. This drunken’ desire you felt deep in your belly. You wondered as he continued to move his lower half while his nuts gained their own constant tap against the skin closest to your ass, if afterward it would make you a constant fiend, wanting it all the time. Hell, your whole body bounced to Franklin’s rhythmic pounding and you held onto your knees extending your neck when his lips desired another taste for your heated and delicate flesh once he’d regained his composure. If he sucked any harder your skin would riddle with hickey’s that would be tough to conceal. But fuck did it feel so damn good to the point you just didn’t care.
Pretty soon he picked up the pace. Every thrust had taken you to a different state of mind. You’d be seeing stars, if not careful. The knocking of the headboard had begun to fill the room with its sound amongst both you and Franklin's heavy breathing and the groans that escaped him and the moans that left you. Each buck of his hips brought you closer to another peak. Your nails slowly softened to gentle, doting fingertips along the puckered flesh as you soothed up and down each side of his spine.
“Does it feel good?”
“Y-yeah, it feels good,” you gasped.
Your breast bounced with each smack of skin, your lower lip submitting to a line of pearly whites all at once as you released for him, lower abdomen quivering deliciously while you screamed out his name, head snapping back against the pillow. Your pussy gobbled him up, desperate to milk him for all that he had as you watched Franklin’s features twist into a fit of raw pleasure.
“I’m c-close.…” he breathed right before you felt his body trembling against yours as his hand pressed on your leg to hold it in place. His dick jumped between your inner walls and you knew even though the condom stopped it, that he came. This deep groan emitted from Franklin, and he collapsed over you riding out his own climax.
When energies exhausted, the two of you lay connected trying to catch your breath under warm air and the sight of brown skin belonging to you and him doused in sweat to afterglow your love making.
When Franklin lifted, he did so with great care, pulling his length from between your legs. A glance at the far corner in your room introduced him to the trash can he hadn't been aware of first coming in. He laid his back on the bed and pulled the condom off, tying it and tossing it in the can with hardly any effort.
You both found the silence comforting. It got so quiet that after some time you turned your head to see if Franklin had fallen asleep. His eyes were closed. His chest rose and fell. Facing the ceiling above you you crossed your fingers and shut your eyes tight.
“Please.” You whispered into the surrounding air. “Don’t let this be one of my vivid dreams this time. You know, the ones I have that seem real but really aren't. Please let this be real. Send me a sign. Anything for that reassurance that this isn’t one of those times.”
You screeched out a cry when you felt a pinch. “Awww, damn it what the hell, Franklin!” You frowned and held on to the place on your arm rubbing it to try and drive away the small stink left behind. Goofy ass. Franklin wore a child-like smile under those beautiful lashes of his–
“What, you said, send you a sign. What’s the sayin’ pinch me so I know it’s real, well there you go.”
You lightly reached over and smacked his arm. “That hurt, you ass!” You moved your hands over to proceed to wrestle trying to produce for him, that same little pinch. He tussled with you, pushing your hand in between laughs.
“Aye, hold up, stop.”
“Hurt!” You cried out again. You poked out your lip and scooted your body away from him.
“Awww,” He taunted. “You mad at me now? Don't be mad.”
“Not funny,” you said, sticking out your tongue. You pouted and folded your arms, still rubbing the pinch spot. He laughed. Then you laughed, finding in the moment it had become contagious, and damn near impossible not to join him. Once everything went silent, you grinned.
“I like this playful side of you.”
“My playful side,” Franklin asked.
“Mmm, hmmm.” You wiggled your shoulders making a comfortable place on the mattress that has you scooting closer to him. “I don't know if you're aware but most of the time you give off this impression that you're carrying the whole world on your shoulders. But I like this side of you much better. It reminds me a lot of that night we danced in the rain. When you finally let loose. You looked so free.” A pause. “That's the way I want you to feel whenever you're with me. Free.”
When his fingers intertwined with your fingers and he lifted your now connected hands to kiss the top of yours, you turned your head to look at him. He smiled, and so did you.
…
It must have been some time later when you groggily opened your eyes. The sound of voices and laughter forced you from sleep. You sat up trying to make sense of the surroundings. Your room, you were in your room, and there was, your heart skipped a beat. Franklin laid up next to you, his back fully exposed just below your view. At some point during sleep, he must have turned over.
So it wasn’t a dream. It really happened.
Once your smile dissipated, you listened more closely, and realized the sounds were coming from the living room area of the small apartment. A, “Oh hell no, that nigga just threw his jacket on the floor. Where he think he at, un uh…” blurted out knocking against the walls.
Candy’s voice.
Your eyes grew large as saucers as you heard high heels coming closer. No time. She opened the door and all you could do was pull the sheet to cover your chest and the rest of Franklin’s naked body.
“Damnit Candy the hell, do you knock,” you whisper shouted.
Candy’s lips poked out, her features translating a look of pride as she began to do a little dance in the silhouette of the door.
“Bitttttttccccccchhhhhhh,” She emphasized. “I know that’s right. I take it y'all settled the whole notebook debacle then?”
“Candy seriously get!” You turned to grab a pillow and without even realizing you threw it, barely able to hit her.
She laughed before doing the same dance while she giddily began to close the door. “My girl done gone and got herself some sex. Welcome to the other side hoe.”
You shook your head and settled back on your place in the bed beside Franklin. You stared up at the ceiling still able to hear her voice before you felt movement.
“Candice is funny…”
You automatically placed a hand over your chest after hearing his voice so suddenly. “Oh shoot, you're awake?” You smiled through gritted teeth, although he couldn’t see it.
“Yeah.”
Franklin swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, stretching his arms above his head. You hadn’t meant to look that hard but Got Damn, he hadn’t left you with much choice in the matter. You sat up once you realized he had begun to grab articles of clothes from the floor.
“Hey. What are you doing? I thought we could, you know, lay here for a while, just cuddle some,” you breathed as a smile spread over your lips.
Franklin did not halt his gathering.
“Naw. Gotta go.”
What the fuck, there went your thoughts, running a muck. What the hell did he just say? You pictured your knife, remembering where it was. A glare found you. He wasn’t serious. Couldn’t be. Not after. Not after he damn near crippled you! Your legs still felt like they didn’t belong to your body. “Go?” you said, giving yourself a second to process.
“Yeah go,” Franklin solidified almost nonchalantly as he turned to face you. “Come on,” he snapped his fingers. “Hussle to it yellow socks. Get that pretty ass up. We go right now, we'll make good time,” he ended with a smirk.
You tilted your head and slammed your hands down over your legs as you whined.“What!”
“You owe me some hours on the project,” Franklin said. “And while you cute, that pretty face don't get you outta it,” He added. “Still not all the way finished, remember? So we got work ta’ do. All the stuff is at my place. We gonna go there. Take care of that first. Then we'll see about slippin’ in round 2.” He looked you up and down. “The short version is, we up for the rest of the night.”
That stupid silly ass smile found its way on your face. Couldn't stop it if you tried.
“Hmm. By the time we done, El Taco’s should be opening up for breakfast.”
You blinked slowly. It sounded like he’d thought it all out. “We.” You focused on that word specifically moving yourself to the edge of the bed, with the blanket still hiding your bare chest. “In we you mean the two of us, sure but, what do we represent?”
Talk about not saying shit straight out. You waved your hand between yourself and him. “Like are we...”
Franklin grinned through a half lidded gaze. “What like, are you my woman?”
You swore that there would never be enough butterflies. If you knew where they came from you would plug up the source quick, fast and in a hurry.
“Well, yeah like that.”
A small chuckle. “All that dick I just gave you wasn't an obvious giveaway?”
You rolled your eyes. Damn smart ass. There was this cockyness about him that made it hard to take him seriously. He already knew he had you. He stood there so smug and certain. But Fine, oh so fine.
“Yeah, maybe?” You mellowed out. But I kinda wanna hear you say it. It's what I need. Said out loud.”
“Okay. You're my lady.”
He grabbed your hand and made a gentle pull so that you were off the bed and standing in front of him. He took the sheet you covered yourself with and tossed it. There you both were butt ass naked in the way of the L.A moonlight standing face to face. Your eyes traveled. The top tear of your teeth pressed down onto your lip. Yeah, you were right. Seeing was believing.
Franklin casually slipped fingers over your swollen slit. It almost brought you down. Everything on your body was so damn sensitive. Good thing he was right there. He caught you. You closed your eyes letting out a labored gasp.
“This belongs to me. Got Franklin Saint written all over it. I took it. Claimed you in the process.”
He lifted your chin, so you had nowhere to look but to his eyes.
“That answer your question, Miss Juicy?”
You nodded, drunk. “Uh huh, Saint.”
That nigga coulda told you to help him rob a corner store for two packs of gummy bears and you’d probably do that shit, you were so entranced.
“Good.” Franklin leaned to press a light kiss on your forehead. “Now. Come on. Get dressed. Let's go.”
At least this time, reality had deemed far better than any story you could write. Still curious, you’d be sure to remember to ask him just what was in that backpack.
…………………………………….Continue? Nah, that’s it.
