I've been thinking a lot about how Rook's reunion with his former mentor, Zara, is going to go, and since I can't predict what the DM is going to have her do or say, I can only dwell on what I know is going to happen. Which happens to include taking off the illusion ring that's been hiding his injuries from her. So have a snippet of the description I have planned for that moment:

He hesitates, twisting a ring on his finger. Looking at it more closely, she can tell it’s very finely crafted, and must have been very expensive. A large emerald is set into the band. Rook sighs, and pulls the ring off his finger in one quick motion.  Immediately she’s struck by the difference in his appearance as the illusion melts away. He looks awful. His warm, healthy skin fades to a dull and sickly grey. There’s huge bags under his deeply sunken eyes, and his cheeks are hollowed, as though they have been carved out by an overeager sculptor. He looks like he’s recently risen from the grave.  While he was thin before, now she can see his ribs under the skin, and his collarbones are exaggeratedly pronounce. Thin white lines left by dozens upon dozens of recently healed cuts are scattered across his body. On top of that, faded bruises cover most of his visible skin, a mottled mosaic of purple and yellow. They’re clearly days, maybe weeks old, and she can only begin to imagine what they must have looked like when fresh. Bandages are barely visible under his shirt, wrapping around his back, hinting at even more injuries.

What do you look for in a rp partner?

Chemistry, above all. Writing chemistry is an absolute must, and someone who is willing to actually give me something to respond with. OOC interaction is important as well, but I understand that we're all busy, we're adults, and I absolutely don't expect everyone to chat ooc with each other (especially because I'm a massive culprit here as I'm antisocial af). It's a MAJOR added bonus if we have OOC chemistry as well as writing chemistry, but we don't HAVE to have OOC chemistry to have good writing chemistry either. I have written with people before and we hardly spoke OOC and we just chatted OOC in the tags and shit to get a feel, etc, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it absolutely does help to have OOC interaction and feel like there is a common interest amongst Rp partners. But yes, writing chemistry is an absolute must for me.

Favourite trope?

Oh man, so many... I'm a slut for so many tropes, lol. But my favourite is probably slow burn shipping, getting to know each other and pining and falling in love. I also love frenemies, enemies to lovers, grumpy and happy getting tossed together, and chaotic gremlins causing mischief. I'm also a big sucker for ANGST. Honestly, just give me something to work with and I'm happy, lol. I want to explore all the things with the muses and cause my muses to have reactions.

Who is an author that inspires you?

I think every media that I take in inspires me one way or another. A lot of my inspiration is simply from every day things, common things that humans do, whether that is good or bad. I get inspiration from my favourite movies, music is a LOT of my inspiration, you guys are also a lot of my muse and inspiration. I take it from where I can get it, and that's everywhere. :)

What is the muse that you write for the longest?

Rp wise, it would be my Inquisitor, Kaaras Adaar (from Dragon Age). I think I wrote him for a good... 7-8 years? I mean, I still WILL write him and his blog is still up, I've just not been very DA inspired as of late, tho I do imagine with the new game coming out, I'll likely get back to his blog eventually <3

As for non RP writing, Megatron has been my longest muse, from Transformers. I have a whole long fic series about him, his past, his post war life, lol. It's a wild ride X'D

Do you tell your friends / family that you write?

Yes and no? lol. I'm shy and awkward. There are some people that know I write, there are people who knew I USED to write (don't know I still do), and there are people that don't know I write at all. Most of my family and RL friends don't know I actively write, let alone write fanfiction and RP lol.

Do you ever get jealous when rping? How do you handle this?

I have in the past, yes, and I think that we all have days when we feel a little jealous or down. I've suffered through some very bad depression in my past, and that was a very unhappy time for me, with skewed visions that the depression no doubt made me think. Thankfully, I have been doing a lot better in the last few years. I still have my moments where I do feel like maybe I'm not as good as my RP partners or entertaining, lord knows I'm no way near as chatty as some of you guys lol, and that's okay. I've come to terms with it over the years. That's just the person I am, and there's nothing wrong with that. I know it's just the negative vibes talking and being stupid. When this happens, it's best to just step away from the PC and go enjoy something else. Come back when you feel better and it's all good. Remember, RP is a hobby, and you should enjoy it, it shouldn't make you feel bad. Thankfully, I'm pretty good at recognising when this happens if it does, and I'm able to handle it maturely.

Do you ship someone’s muses on your dash?

Most of the ships I wholeheartedly support, lol. In particular, I love Alaara x Gale (but also Alaara simply oogling her entire camp) @chaoticbard . Seeing Alaara on my dash just brings me joy, she's just such an amusing character. Cassian and Ras are also another couple that I love seeing on my dash, big beefy boys @ode-of-odr , @crimesought (also Sornin and Cassian ofc <33 ), Literally Minthara and anyone because @spiderwarden just writes her SOOOO WELL!!! Also ofc I'm entirely bias when it comes to Haarlep x Raphael. (:

Do you have developed dynamics with the OC of another mun that has influenced your OC or Canon muse?

Oh absolutely! Check out Alaara and Haarlep, and how they have both moved forward (especially Haarlep lol). I absolutely adore their dynamic, and then because of that interaction, I have been able to harass Astarion @apalestar (and in turn, Astarion makes Haarlep's ears bleed), and it's just so damn funny and fun. I have chaotic gremlin energy with @silvertiefling and Haarlep, which I love so damn much as well, as Haarlep still tries to fuck her constantly lol (ofc he does tho...). But I think each and every one of you that I write with gives Haarlep a unique dynamic. I think that that's what I love about writing him so much, tho, is that he's willing to be decent enough to interact with good aligned muses, and chaotic and evil enough to play with evil muses. He's REALLY flexible, and I love that.

What’s one random headcanon about your muse that people mightn’t know?

Ummmm, I think I pretty much splurge them all out whenever they come to me, LOL. Haarlep is an open book X'D You know my secret one which I will keep between us and Haarlep's potential blood :'D

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

In case me and @predvestnik roleplaying them from the start wasn't clear enough: CHAEYA. I fell for these two down a well immediately. Unashamedly obsessed with them.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Most things that don't border on the standard taboo/wrong things tbh. I like a lot of dynamics as long as the muses click or develope in a way that click together and flows natural, I'm game to see where they go as long as we don't have to force them together- not like in a room and tossing the keys, I'm talking about forcing the muses to interact with stuff that just doesn't feel natural btw...

I also love fluff. Fluff that goes somewhere, fluff that goes nowhere........ just cute stuff. Fluff after a good development between muses, some introspective threads that I absolutely lose my mind for, and some angst if I'm in the mood and it needs to be planned in a way that doesn't suddendly break the relationship forever. 

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Minor/Adult, as a normal person, is completely off the table, and also mentor/mentree makes me uncomfortable. This goes without saying.

I have two old OCs that are 43 and 55 respectively, so I'd say 10 years gap is okayyyyy-ish...? As long as it's a reasonable one (ex. 34 and 44) with both parts as CLEAR adults.

Are you selective when shipping?

HOO BOY. YEAH. I need to be comfortable with someone and definitely have a trial ship period to see if they click, and I only ship with people I have talked OOCly. That's not negotiable, sorry. I like discussing our replies with my partners when we can get around to it or I'll cry (this is a joke).

I'm also very inclined to quietly pull away in case I feel I'm being relegated to the last possible tier of your priority list in terms of threads/asks or if I perceive a big dip of interest without an explanation to why, but I like to think I'm getting better at communicating when I feel this is happening. Doesn't mean I'm always successful in it tho :(

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

HMMMM I'd say as soon as one of the muses involved start feeling aroused- if the thread progresses into doing the horizontal tango, it's all going either on Discord or under the good ol' read more. I'm not super comfortable doing NSFW stuff between muses unless there's trust built up and I'm certaintly not a fan of smut becoming the center of a dynamic once it's brought in.

Ask and perhaps enstabilish a bit of OOC communication with us telling eachother a bit about our muses and sharing some ideas. Otherwise you'll find be screaming and flailing around like a scared hamster made of anxiety. I won't know where to put my foot if we don't. :(

How often do you like to ship?

Not a lot! I usually select a few people I'm comfy with and sit in a corner huddled with them. I didn't had particulary good experiences with ships before making Kaeya, so I'm naturally a big cagey when it comes to that. I also tend to just distance if something happens or I perceive it's happening, but I'm getting better at that.

Are you multiship?

Yessssss but I'm pretty selective... if it clicks and we kinda know eachother, I'll ship it and be happy with it. Most of my verses are closed, ship-wise. Whoopsie.......

In all seriousess, knowing eachother a little bit without it being overwhelming for us both and then shuriken-ing ideas to eachother and seeing which ones stick and can be developed is a good start and will continue the communication steadily.

So, I gave this situation a lot of thought and given that it is the end of the year, that marks the ideal time frame to basically reshape the way, I wanna handle the blog and my muses, going forward. These changes include how my roster functions, certain limitations I am going to give myself, concerning the amount of drafts I have, and changes in verses and some alterations on the ask box. Basically, quality instead of quantity is going to be the name of the game, so hopefully, I can better organise my hobbies and interests and hopefully also my eventual career as an author.

That means first of all: Every single thread I have is dropped. I want a completely clean slate thread-wise, however, dynamics, which we established, can absolutely carry over. I am not gonna flush all the hard work, I did with so many of you (you are all amazing) down the drain.

Now, onto what changes. Let's start with the formal bullshit. I am going to limit myself to twenty drafts and try to adhere to this limit. Those drafts will preferably be plotted. That way, I hopefully can avoid getting overwhelmed, but also really dig into the meat of our threads.

That does not mean casual stuff or crack does not happen. It can still happen, but it will occur with less frequency and those things likely won't carry over much. If I happen to send you an rp related meme, then please just have fun with the drabble. I will try to limit how much I continue those threads.

When it comes to my ask box, I will prioritise unprompted asks and scenarios over rp memes. However, I will always accept headcanon-related memes or memes for me the writer. Again, all these changes will be done to limit the effects of being overwhelmed and to keep my rps at a manageable medium.

When it comes to my verses, I am going to do a massive cut in what types of verses I have. Specifically, I am going to stick to the verses, which basically form a narrative throughline. For most verses, this will basically be the pre-canon, the default and the post-canon verse. Ergo the past, present and future of a muse. This is done so I can focus on what I wanna explore instead of spreading myself too thin. After all, it is better to explore an idea and its ramifications in detail as opposed to expanding and adding five half-baked ideas at once.

My muse roster will have a bit of an update on its purpose. Because of the fact that I will lean even more into the concept of storytelling and character development, the split between primary, secondary and tertiary muses still exists. Except, there is going to be a crucial change now. The tertiary muses will now be rebranded as supports and are not technically muses on the blog. Let me explain what I mean.

Because of my desire to be more story-driven, certain characters will serve as the supporting cast for other muses. These characters help propel the plot forward but also give your muse a different perspective on the muse they roleplay with. They might also reveal information, you would not get otherwise. Think of them a bit like NPCs but due to the big role, they play in the muse's life or what they represent for the muse, they have a bigger chance of emerging. Your muses might even meet them before they meet the actual muse. There will also be other classical NPCs, which your muse might meet under very specific circumstances.

Now onto the actual muse roster:

My primary muses (who will be focussed on the whole Zaunite lore and story) are going to be Silco, Jinx and Vi. They are the ones, whose plotting will come the most naturally and easiest for me. Their supports are Sevika and Warwick/Vander.

My secondary muses (who have different thematic stories and lore as they occur outside of Zaun/Piltover) will be Naafiri and Ahri. Writing them might potentially require a bit more plotting and forethought. Naafiri's supporting characters will be Nasus and Rek'Sai. Ahri's supporting characters will be Yasuo, Evelynn and to a lesser extent Vayne.

I hope that these changes I am making will lessen some self-made stressors. Again, I do apologise for basically dropping everything right now. I promise, I still want to write with everybody here. I just need to sort out how I wanna make things work. So please, everybody do not be intimidated by those changes. I promise, that my enthusiasm for writing and roleplaying remains unbroken.

7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

MMMHH I would say her appearance a little bit and Oh! Of course her personality! In the beginning she was a shy scared kid, that would develop a braver personality with time. But I thought that maybe it was too... Meh. And Knowing how much potential Abby could have, I gave her that brave and reckless personality from the very beginning. She was raised by Woods after all. She learnt from him hahaha!

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

Time traveling! She was born in 2012 and currently her story is developing in 2030, so she doesn't interact much with the most iconic character of black ops (like her grandfather Mason, a younger Woods, Adler, Hudson...). But this is funny because I'm currently doing an AU! RP with @efingart and @alypink with their black Ops ocs and it's super interesting! We are thinking of turning it into a fic once we finish it! I love this RP with all my heart 💖

17. What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

Currently? What happened in chapter 4. The torture and the events in the river Potomac. But sadly worse things are coming for her, I won't tell when or what. But yeah... Sorry baby...

24. What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

Mmmmh the first one would be, not visiting Woods that afternoon when she was 13. She wouldn't have had to witness Menéndez killing Woods and getting shot. But the biggest one would be staying with David when the White House was under attack in chapter 3. If she would insist and stay with her father that night, she wouldn't get kidnapped by the Hyenas, and probably she would have travelled to Alaska with her father and started a new life.

HANNAH "SPARROW" CLAYTON:

1. What memory would your OC rather just forget?

The accident in the mountain K2 in Pakistan in 2020. Those three days she spent there, after being hit by an avalanche in a try to save her brother, freezing to death, bleeding out, with broken bones, literally going fucking crazy due to the lack of oxygen in that altitude. That memory haunts her after all those years.

5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

It depends. If it's a whim like trying to convince Amara to go dinner somewhere specific, she can be very persistent, but she knows when to stop insisting if it would piss her girlfriend off.

If it's a moral thing, like "I do this because I think it's the right thing". She wouldn't disobey even god itself. She really has strong morals and it's hard to change her mind. You have to convince her and give her a really good reason to not do what she's thinking.

If it's protecting someone, especially someone that she cares about, she's willing to die for them if it's needed. She doesn't care if it breaks that person's heart, she must keep them safe, no matter the cost. Literally.

6. How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

Hard. Really hard. Impossible I'd say. But if there's a person who has the tiniest possibility of doing that, it should be someone that she really cares about. REALLY close friends, family and lover, and they should have a REALLY good fucking reason for doing that. But after that don't expect Sparrow to treat you like before.

17. What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

The K2 accident. I think that's the worst thing that happened to Sparrow, or at least the one that affected her the most. I should write a fic with all the details about that Accident. It could be interesting. 🤔

Kudos: this might be all i ever wanted (all i ever wanted to happen to me) — got right in at the She-Hulk finale hype so I think that helped to boost it

Comment threads: whatever happens (happens to the both of us) — my first Peacemaker fic, and I think the timing of this hit when a lot of people were finishing up the show, but I'm really flattered and honored!

6. Work I'm most proud of (and why): I'm going to cheat and pick a few:

ghost behind my eyes — at 10,143 words, it remains my longest self-contained one shot, and I'm really proud of the character work I did here. Christopher Smith and his character development are really important to me, and here's to hoping that will continue in Peacemaker season 2!

standing at a broken altar (asking if we feel relief) — represented a whole new creative venture for me, featuring characters I (at least at the time) had never written into fic before, and I'm someone who's... honestly pretty lapsed, religion-wise, and writing this made me think about faith, how it's questioned, tested, and found again, in a way I haven't in a while. almost paradise — the story that's been a long time coming for me. Gamora is literally one of my favorite characters of all time, and to say I... did not handle Infinity War well is putting it very, very mildly; that movie came out not that extremely long after a big personal loss in my real life, so losing a character that dear to me at that time was something I took really hard. This is the first time I've actually acknowledged her death in a piece of writing, and I'm proud of myself that I did.

7. Work I'm least proud of (and why): none of them? I don't usually post something unless I feel pretty good about it.

A time when writing was really, really hard: Honestly, my biggest challenge surrounding writing is just... working around my own chronic illness (which involves episodic fatigue) and mental health struggles. For one of those reasons or both at the same time, there were periods of the year that made writing more difficult than others. I'm working on incorporating smaller, more manageable writing goals during those periods so that I can still keep working without exhausting myself.

10. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you: I wasn't expecting Matt Murdock Slut Era to extend for as long as it did, and yet here we are.

11. A favorite excerpt of your writing: from almost paradise:

What he deserves, he thinks, is to be left here, alone with ghosts because that’s all he’s fit to provide company for — maybe until he becomes one himself. Because, yeah, if Ego had been telling the truth, for all his words had been worth, with the destruction of his planet, Peter can do that now. That might actually be better for everyone involved, because all he does, clearly, is pull people into a total shitstorm or get them killed. Sometimes both.

But people don’t ever really get what they deserve, do they? His mom, the kindest person the universe would probably ever know, hadn’t deserved to die from a tumor in her brain, put there by an evil man she’d chosen to give her huge heart to.

And he doesn’t deserve a hand reaching toward him, pulling him up from the floor.

12: How did you grow as a writer this year: My writing got a lot smuttier LMAO But it also just... reflected a "fuck it, we ball" type of attitude that I'd been slowly embracing. Inventing ships, writing whatever the fuck I want. I've grown a lot, and I feel really liberated.

13. How do you hope to grow next year: I hope to continue just... following my bliss. I've come a really long way in not caring as much about an invisible audience and just writing whatever I want, and I aim to keep doing that. I aim to keep believing in myself in that way and going the distance with my screwball ideas.

14. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc): Would like to thank the discographies of Massive Attack, CHVRCHES, and Taylor Swift for fueling my writing. Also anyone when I said "I'm gonna put these blorbos together" who said "do it".

15. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year: I mentioned it before, but almost paradise was written during a depressive episode and I've joked it was me flinging out all my unresolved grief issues onto the page instead of going to therapy in December (using, you know, one beloved character of mine grieving another beloved character's death as a proxy), so. yes.

16. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers: Don't write to cater to an audience; write to cater to yourself. If you love what you do, readers can see that love, and they'll believe in it, too. Readers are really good at telling what is and isn't genuine, so the best thing to do is just... be yourself.

17. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: I have an existing WIP to finish, and a few more ideas in the can! Featuring: more Vigilmaker, more self-indulgent blorbo ships I invented (featuring either Matt Murdock or Rich Rider or both likely), and GOTG Vol 3 about to wreck my life, so of course I would imagine a good bulk of my writing this year will be related to it. This is all I'll say.

best experience : this attempt so far?? Has been so wonderful and i wouldn’t change any of what has happened for the world- my mutuals and writing partners are so skilled and friendly and patient and LITERALLY some of their muses have managed to elicit responses and character development from my muses that i would have NEVER imagined :’D but if we have to go specific….maybe it’s the hunger games au verse i dragged some ppl into?? the plotting and characters they have come up with is PHENOMENAL and wow, i’m gonna stuck to them all like super glue for 5ever &lt;3

rp pet peeves : so many! my biggest ones, however, are self-centered and inconsiderate partners: those who disregard my rules, those who talk only about their own muses in every thread and plotting interaction, those who only seem to take interest in my blog(s) when it involves receiving writing from me. That and blogs that follow first but never make a move/any indication of interest, not even a like on my posts….no offense, but i’m not chasing after you. Other pet peeves include facechasing, trauma dumping ( ooc and ic ), and drama. oh, and partners who just don’t?? Respond to my attempts at some kind of ooc interaction- it can even be in tags, but if you’re not saying anything then that kills my enthusiasm very quickly.

fluff, angst, or smut : see, i want character development and exploration in my threads so i don’t think it’s fair to split up threads into these categories bc if done with intention, you can learn something new about your muse and your partner’s muse in any thread ( and yes, that includes the crack threads- DON’T UNDERESTIMATE ME :D ) i will say though, smut is highly unlikely here just bc patrick is demisexual + it’s gonna take like 2839402384098 years for him and hyuk to look at and act on each other in that manner :’D

plots or memes : plotting <3 but memes are good for starting off plotted dynamics tho!! most times, however, i’m not a fan of first meetings either. I like to have some kind of dynamic/backstory to go off of and would rather not overstep any boundaries so you’re not really a plotter… we might not be a good match. 

long or short replies : see, patrick is a literature professor. for someone softspoken and reserved, he has a TON of thoughts and opinions so whenever i do try to keep things short and sweet, he bucks against it and will give me at least three paragraphs….over 1000 words too. we’re very ( not ) sorry :’D

time to write : depends on what’s happening at work and what my mood is. I do try to do my writing in the afternoon/morning though as most days i feel like i haven’t done anything productive/meaningful until i’ve written at least something.

are you like your muses : hahahaha, nah. your most active muse: Bedelia without a doubt. She has been the most constant muse I have ever had and in a few months I will have written her for 10 years.

experience/how long (months, years?): Probably something like 15 years or so, but on tumblr it's around 10 years give or take.

platforms used: forums, twitter, tumblr, discord.

best experience: I cannot really only pick one, but there's something really special about find people with whom you can write in so many settings and AUs. Usually it happens with ships, but it doesn't have to be. Honestly I just love having someone who's as invested as I am in writing and developing ideas. I also have made friends that are now real life friends and this has been one of the most amazing experiences.

rp pet peeves/dealbreakers: Other than the ones listed in my rules, if you don't respect me and/or my muses is definitely a dealbreaker for me. I have had some experience with people wanting to write with me on this blog only to torture Bedelia because it fitted their ships. The disrespect is through the roof. Another thing is starting to ignore me because the person found another ship/another main partner and just drops everything with me. I have no issue with people having other writing partners, it's how it works, but I'm not okay with being dropped like trash because I'm suddenly not interesting anymore. Oh and also if you pressure me to reply faster/accept a ship/write things I'm not comfortable with. Those are a big no from me.

fluff, angst, smut: All three even if I do have a preference for angst. I love the pain, but it also makes the fluff cuter afterwards. As for smut, I think it's fun to write sometimes. I'm not a great smut writer, but it's fun.

plots or memes? Either works for me. Sometimes I feel like plotting is best, especially with pre-established relationships or AUs, but it doesn't have to be a long and detailed plot, just setting the basics is enough for me. As for memes, they are absolutely always welcome. They can be really great for first interactions.

long or short replies? I prefer long replies, but sometimes the brain doesn't allow them and I'll write shorter things (that I usually keep on discord). So both, both is good.

best time to write? At night? I don't know? I write more in the evening, but it's usually because my brain doesn't allow me to write during the day. Honestly it's a bit a case of "when the inspiration hits."

are you like your muse? To some extent, yes. Of course I'm not a short blonde psychiatrist who has killed at least one person and who happens to be the therapist of a cannibal, but personality-wise there are similarities. I also think we both tend to have a façade we show the world and keep our real selves secret to the point it's hard to let anyone see the "real us." So I would say I'm partly like her. I wish I could have her confidence, even if some of it is faked.

PRONOUNS: Whatever floats your boat. I don’t expect people who don’t know me to remember what to address me as.

PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Tumblr IMs preferably. Discord is more comfortable but I would rather hand it to people I connect with in a deeper level, which usually doesn’t happen as I’m mostly here to RP.

NAME OF MUSE(S): Dainsleif.

EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): Formal RP started in 2016, but it would be a mistake to not keep in consideration my previous experience writing things on my own and that would be +12 years. Take your pick.

PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: MSN and then Skype. Nowadays it’s limited to Tumblr and Discord.

BEST EXPERIENCE: Within these years of RP I had many good experiences which makes it hard to choose just one.

RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: I would probably never end were I make an exhaustive list of them, those who I talk with the most will know what I’m talking about. But if I were to choose one for the sake of this thingy, it would have to be the rise of overly individualistic people. To elaborate on this, I’m talking about the kind of people that don’t give others a chance to explore what they want to explore for their own muse development or growth because there are some people who are so overbearing and they seem to care so little about others, that they make it all about their muse in quite the outrageous ways. As someone who looks for mutual benefit in terms of development for our respective muses, it’s quite baffling to me to witness from the sidelines.

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: I like all of them in their due measure. Smut-wise I feel like I am behind both because I hardly ever write it and because I’ve observed that my ways of writing it differ so much from what the vast majority write that rules me out completely from it lol. Fluff and angst are bound to come in whichever extended scenario, but without stretching them into infinity. To me, they need to have a purpose unless it’s specifically meant as a momentary recreation which happens rarely when I write. I need to have a story, a development of characters and world building. If any of these get in between, then I would rather tone them down as I don’t like to turn anything into an unnecessary sobfest or turn things into overly tee-hee teeth-rotting sweet and domestic.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Given the nature of Dain as a character, I definitely prefer plots. However, I am aware from experiences and observations that people in general 1) aren’t good with plots or 2) they go more with the flaw than sit down and think out long-term plots for our characters. So these days I go with whatever strikes my fancy the most, as I don’t have much time myself either because of class.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I tend to go longer 75% of the times, mainly because I like to elaborate on Dain’s thought process and world building in general. He isn’t the type of talking too much either so there is a necessity to explain through other means his actions or put great emphasis onto details that are telling of what he may think or feel without saying a thing.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: For some reason, nighttime tends to be a better time to me.

⚡️ - favorite yasha moment

Oh, absolutely the pit fight with Kal Dimmins, the dwarf woman, in Rexxentrum. “Finish it, champion.”

Like...I know Ashley as a D&D player, ok? Because Ashley is me. Outwardly shy and reserved; hesitant to initiate things, RP-wise; lots of good ideas, and even a healthy amount of chaos in her soul, but improv doesn’t come to her naturally. And her long absences certainly haven’t helped. So it’s not often we get to see her 100% take the reins, do her own thing, and engage in RP that blows the minds of the entire cast and audience alike. And that’s what happened here. 

Seeing Yasha work out her guilt and anger in this violent, self-destructive, totally unexpected way? It was complicated, it was terrifying, it was really disturbing, and yet also weirdly hot?? It was everything. I’m so glad we have Ashley back full-time now, that she’ll have so much more time to get comfortable with her characters and all storylines going forward, and that there’s a chance we might get to see many more scenes like this.

👁 - favorite fjord moment

“I pull the blade back and throw it.”

That whole scene is gold, actually. It’s the culmination of Fjord’s entire arc up until that moment, and we couldn’t have gotten a more satisfying climax. First we get the pirate arc, which Fjord spends flirting with darkness (figuratively and literally...), tasting power, and ultimately choosing to let it go. To keep the final cloven crystal, defy Uk’otoa, and go home to pursue his teammates’ goals instead of his own. Then he’s haunted by increasingly threatening dreams, taunted by brief losses of power, all while frantically holding onto the web of lies he’s spun for his found family throughout the campaign...and then this.

The final dream that caused him to snap. “You need me more than I need you.” Plunging the sword into his own chest before finally, agonizingly, choosing to pull it out and pitch it into the lava. The fact that all of this went down at one of the Wildmother’s shrines. The fact that Caduceus was right on the verge of getting a new (well, ancient) sword re-f(j)orged for him. The fact that Fjord and Travis were so obviously hesitant throughout this scene, so uncertain about whether they really wanted to go for it--and then, in a classic Fjord/Travis move, they did. The dizzying catharsis of the immediate aftermath, with Fjord immediately waking Caduceus up to heal him, dropping his fake accent, confessing everything to the party and receiving their unconditional love and all the weapons they had to offer...

I really, really love this moment, anon.

🤜🏽 - favorite beau moment

Oh, this one was hard.

I think I’m going to have to narrow it down to a top three? In chronological order, as always:

(1.) Molly’s eulogy. Honestly, this might win out as my #1. Marisha acted the hell out of this scene. It was devastating, it made me sob like a small child, and it also had such a profound effect on Beau’s character development, on the whole group’s view of Molly, and on the way they used his memory to help define themselves and their mission going forward.

“Do y’all remember what Molly said a few weeks ago when he told us that he left every town better than what he found it?...And I told him this story of ruining a couple’s lives by extorting them because I fucking could. Because I fucking felt like it...And I’m not going to do that again.”

(2.) Talking to the Plank King on Darktow after the Avantika fight. I know the “I......wait?” moment was the obvious choice here, but this is the payoff for that moment: Beau fully growing into her role as an expositor, speaking up when no one else knew what to say or do, choosing to flex her diplomacy and deception skills instead of her fists...and then getting to flex her fists as well.

“I'm with a secret order of the monks from the Cobalt Soul...”

“You have sixty seconds, but I have more knuckles.”

And the final consequence of her magic fists and Avantika’s silence:

"I hope your sea god, or whatever it is, is very merciful on the other side.”

Caleb might have cast the Wall of Fire, but Beau was the MVP of this whole stunning encounter, and it was a delight to witness.

(3.) Addressing King Dwendal and the Cerberus Assembly right after the cathedral fight.

And if you’re noticing a pattern, then yes, I think that Expositor Beauregard, brilliant and respected secret agent of the Cobalt Soul, is the hottest thing in the world. Not only because she gets to prove how brilliant and respectable she is, but because she always takes advantage of her position of power to get in some kind of dig below the belt, whether it’s punching a pirate captain in the face or counter-snarking at the King of the Dwendalian Empire for snarking at Caduceus (“my educated guess,” she says, knowing that he mocked the mellow, slow-talking firbolg for saying it, but he wouldn’t dare do the same to her).

Aaaand I’m editing this because I realized I forgot the wild card!

And it’s “Between the Sheets.” I love Between the Sheets. Live interviews normally make me so nervous, like too nervous to watch them. So Brian’s ability to put me at ease with this show, to make me feel like everything will definitely be totally safe and chill and free of secondhand embarrassment, even as the cast members and guests unveil so many deeply personal memories and feelings and make me cry every single time...it’s kind of the best.

This got super long so it's under the cut

Okay so starting out from the beginning of L'manburg,,Tubbo helped Wilbur and Tommy bc they asked and he even went above and beyond what they asked of him (blaze rods, villagers and end crystals) and joined the revolution. Already we have the overachieving and can't really say no part of his character down.

I think during Eret's betrayal is such an ignored part of the lore and honestly I don't blame everyone bc it's been forever and Eret has mostly redeemed themselves but I feel like having someone you look up to dissapoint you is another gifted kid experience.

Next fast forwarding to the elections, tubbo's hope for the best plan for the worst thing may just be paranoia from war but his need to be prepared for anything and everything also reminds me of gifted kids.

Finally the schlatt administration where I think it all piles up. He's secretary of state and a spy, he can't say no and he's overbooked himself and was under a lot stress where his superiors constantly berate him and his told that he has to repress his emotions and so this era really set the base for tubbo we know now.

Quick note, during this era we see how tubbo's "yes man" attitude, formally a help to the revolution now becomes a hindrance and now I'm thinking how tubbo's trauma response is usually fawn compared to tommy's fight and ranboo's flight

Okay and then the execution like that allow as traumatizing and all but tubbo immediately forgives technoblade bc that's was he's expected to do and he represses it again and moves on with life, wilbur even calls tubbo mature because of this

Tubbo being painted as responsible and mature really comes together with his presidency. At first everything is alright bc things are going well. However, he is easily talked over and never really stands up for himself and his cabinet notices this and tends to take advantage of this and this all comes together with the exile arc

The exile arc from tommy's pov is heartbreaking but it's also tragic from tubbo's pov where he feels so much guilt for all his mistakes but has to be the president so he can't show anything and he is blamed for all the problems but can't and won't defend himself bc he really does blame himself. When he finds out tommy is "dead" he represses it and is busy trying to distract hismelf and when he finds out that tommy is now working with technoblade it is just one for thing he has to accept now.

It just keeps getting worse from here as he is yelled at for everything he does in the battle of the community house and at this point tubbo agrees that he is a bad president. Everyone always glosses over that Dream admitted to manipulating Tubbo but even tubbo himself hadn't processed that. He blames himself for the destruction of L'manburg and thinks he is the worst president of L'manburg bc of his failures.

At first tubbo making snowchester seemed out of character. However, it shows that technoblade was unable to teach tubbo that government was bad bc tubbo like most gifted kids have had it easy education wise so they have trouble when they actually hit a road block. So tubbo does what he does best, which is take things logically so he starts from his mistakes and tries again. I think that is very admirable of him but shows how desperate he is for a stable home that will stay.

Finally the disc war finale. He is goes into the battle projecting hopefullness for tommy's sake when in reality is convinced he is going to die. When tommy offers him a space to express how he's feeling, tubbo does not take the opportunity. When dream offers the ultimatum, he is ready to die bc in his eyes he has done enough with his life and is surprised when tommy places value in his life. The disc war finale gave us a glimpse into how truamatized tubbo really is from all of the events on the server. However, right after the war he goes back to repressing everything that happened and puts all of his effort into defending what he has.

It is also interesting to note how child like tubbo acted when put under the influence of the egg but I realized I have rambled alot so to sum it all up:

C! Tubbo is the former burnt out gifted kid who has repressed and internalized everything to the point where his quiet acceptance of the horrible things happening around him makes him seem "mature" and fit for leadership roles as a result, he has so many problems but since he doesn't express his emotions often, they are brushed aside and it seems he will never get the support he needs.

I actually would love to contrast this with c!tommy who is like the kid who society has abandoned bc he doesn't cope in the way society views as acceptable,,he's loud he's brash and rude and violent at times but that makes him resilient and has kept him alive in the cruel world.

It's actually interesting to consider the similarities between tommy and tubbo.

They both lack the "maturity" to express their thoughts in a clever way that makes others around them understand their thinking and reasoning.

Their world views violence as a commonplace so that their developing views of morality just get so skewed and they can't find their place in the world,,,and therefore have carved out their own little places (ie snowchester and hotel)

I totally rambled and I apologise but I have so much thoughts about the clingyduo as characters and just the dream smp lore as a whole bc it is so cool thank you for letting me talk about this

- No randomly appearing in the lair without being invited. Donnie has gone above and beyond to give them safety in their sanctuary. If you weren’t invited, you are not welcome in their home, as is the case with any stranger.

On to the boys!

- The boys are 2014/2016 Bayverse turtles but are mature adult men. Human age wise they are around 50, but maturity and body wise, somewhere in their 30’s respectively. They do not age the same as humans due to the properties of mutagen and their turtle mutant base type

- This is an AU set several decades into the future- please read the prologue to help understand a little more about the world they live in

- They live in a skyrise, penthouse. With state of the art- Donnie certified level protections put into place. Nothing gets in or out, without his knowing. He does not take the safety of himself or his brothers lightly

- The Boys do not belong to anybody and will not belong to anybody. They are free to interact with whomever they would like, in any way that has been discussed and planned between the two muns.

- They don’t know your muse, nor have had any previous interactions with your muse, and thus are not in love with your muse, or have an established relationship with your muse.

- If you want their love and attention you will have to earn it, just like you would in any other type of interaction

- Absolutely no god-modding. Example: its your 3rd time to respond and you’re attempting to have Leo princess carry your character to bed. This is not a natural flow to the story, and not going to happen.

- The boys may like certain features, or admire certain characteristics, however they are open to all body types, shapes and beings, so long as they feel a connection.

A quick explanation as to what the boys do with their free time in a world that knows they exist.

Leo: “We each found our interests and talents opened up a several viable options that had lead us each to a “unique” position.” Leo led as he gathered his thoughts. “Keep in mind after we managed to stop Krang and those who worked closely with him, the world was vulnerable. As far as my brothers and I were concerned, we had fought too hard and for too long for someone to simply slip into the power vacuum we had created and to continue to harsh reality Krang had created for Earth’s inhabitants. Due to this we each chose to do what we knew how to do and could most easily adapt as challenges presented themselves.”

He paused for a moment as he thought about the hardships, they had each faced and managed to overcome as they slowly helped right the world and returned her to standing on her own. A shimmering blue jewel among the galaxy and other worlds that had become familiar with the planet and its amenities.

“During our years in the resistance we managed to acquire wealth and assets. We were able to accumulate quite the little nest egg using those. Along with our acquired influence it opened many a door which in the old world would have remained not only closed but permanently locked to us.”

“I became a strategic investor. Buying the remnants of properties, businesses and services and either helping them to return to what they once were or repurposing to better suit the needs of this new era and turn a profit. It proved to be very profitable and allowed for me to continue to churn out profits which allowed for me to seek other properties and businesses to invest in or connect the right individuals with each other in away that led to my ability to offer the initial capital for a small percentage of the quarterly earnings. It helped people to create jobs and led to a lot of normalcy for those who desperately needed.

One hand washes the other, and this in its essence has lead to my own sector of the Tartaruga brothers incorporated. I have a multi-billion dollar operation on Earth and several branches operating throughout the universe currently.”

Donnie: “As Leo has said,” Donnie commented calmy, “our time resisting and fighting lead us each to our own talents. I spent a lot of time wearing many hats, which included, chemists, doctor, surgeon, agronomist, engineer, electrician, etc. to put it simply I spent a lot of time learning how to save lives, human and otherwise, and the best way to stretch our available resources in a way which led to people surviving. I also had to learn how to create medications which were so commonplace that many died without having them available. Most antibiotics don’t have a very long shelf life and when those ran out initially, we were in constant jeopardy of losing lives to the simplest of bacterial infections. My knowledge, and subsequent research lead to significant improvements and branching into many other factors, and shall we say break throughs.

Needless to say, the value of others wants, lead to my ability to fund the needs of the many. In my sector, I have several leadings areas including pharmacy, medical research, agrarian development, as well as generalized research and development in multiple fields from domestic to military. For obvious reasons, more detailed information is strictly classified.”

Raph: Raph chuckled as Donnie glossed over his closely guarded research. He was willing to kill to protect his research and continue to control the aspects that allowed him to fund the bulk of his interests and common welfare of those he blanketed with his programs. “They ain’t lying. After the world came back from going to shit, it took awhile to get it back up and going. Additionally, there were a lot of people, generally those not from this world that were way too determined to make sure we failed. This led to a lot of infighting and groups struggling for control. That tends to lead to a lot of shady business if you know what I mean, and it wasn’t like we had any type of social services such as police, fire fighting, or anything else. I initially took charge in areas like these.

I took a lot of care to train groups so that they worked together and were prepared to handle whatever problems came. It took a lot of time to cultivate proper training programs and help prepare people on how to help a traumatized world get back to functioning in a healthy way. I still help do this on planets and areas that are in recovery.”

“That being said however, my primary interest and “job” if you want to call it that, is training mixed martial artist prize fighters for the world federation galaxy league. Simply put we aren’t the only species that likes to watch trained athletes test their skills against one another within their respective brackets, or on specially contracted prized fights. I used to fight for the league and earned a lot of titles and prestige. I won most fights and was often the favorite to win after a while. I’m semi-retired and only occasionally enter the ring now days. However, I take and train promising talents for the league and other groups. I have also trained personal bodyguards for a variety of individuals.  Different specialties come with different specifics and contracts as well as costs. It takes a specific might set for each, and a lot of time to drill into a thick skull.”

Mikey: Mikey laughed at the turtle in red, “Oh yeah, and you were the king of thick skulled back when we were young, and dumb.” He barely dodged the throw pillow that was chucked at his head.  “Let’s see for me personally,” Mikey flashed a big grin, “I happen to be a master of many trades. During our days in the resistance, I learned a lot of different tricks to help make the food rations we had on hand not only palatable but nutritionally sound while feeding a literal army of people! So when it was possible I spent a large amount of time learning how to take fancy old world recipes and revamped them with food sources that were still available or recreated them with off world goodies. I also still paint, and love to collaborate with others to create amazing new concepts!”

His face darkened for a moment as he thought back to the early days of the resistance. “There were so many people who in the blink of an eye had lost everything, and unfortunately it was insanely common to find kids who had either been separated from their families or were the only survivor. In a lot of instances they were traumatized and it took a lot of creative thinking to coax them out of their shells and help to reteach them on how to live. This happened fairly frequently with adults as well. Because of this and what seemed like a never ending shortage of textiles, I had to learn and create new ways to make things and often times help find things that brought the sparkle back to peoples eyes. Because of this however, I have a multimedia conglomerate that allows me to work in a wide area of creative outlets. The fashion world is a flippant mistress, but there are a lot of ways in which one can compete and stand out. It’s led to a lot of lucrative contracts with those who are “starving” for the next amazing piece of creatively, or at least that’s what they tell me. The great thing about taking high end contracts and commissions is that a lot like my brothers, the revenue lets me continue to reach out to others. I fund a program that includes shelters called “Uncle Mikey’s” for those who are missing, exploited, or just need help. I also teach cooking, and practical skills for those who need them, and they are streamed to community centers such as local libraries, after school programs, and the like, to try and continue to help those who never received a chance to learn to do things due to the world kind of going through an apocalypse level event.

Literacy and Writing Style

I write semi-literate to advanced literate depending on the day and how much you give me to work with.

Third person, no asterisks (*), and use quotation marks (") when character talks.

When talking ooc, use //,\\,(), etc... to differentiate it from our rp.

No shortforms like bc, ofc, rn, wyd, etc... please write the full words. I wont be on your a$$ about grammar though. As long as i can read it idc.

Preferences

I'm most comfortable with bxg and sometimes gxg.

If bxg, i prefer the female role.

In terms of genre preferences, i have no genre preferences. But i am a sucker for fantasy and historics...

When deciding a plot, i'd rather have a vague/general idea and then brainstorm the details together.

I really enjoy a good slow burn romance.

Im too chatty for my own good, istg i never shut up. God must have forgotten to add the "stfu and sit down" button to me. So i like talking ooc, a LOT! :) introverts, you have been warned.

Expectations

I put a lot of effort into my oc's. Arguably too much, as i fixate over unimportant details for hours. I blame my ADHD hyper fixation. Anywho, i expect you to put the same amount of love and effort into your characters as i do.

I'm fine with originally drawn, cartoon/anime, or real faceclaims. But if it is not an original character, i'd like to know the faceclaims name. If its an originally drawn character, it has to be decent. That may sound picky, but i cant take it seriously if its poorly done art... not to sound pretentious.

For cartoon faceclaims, it has to be semi-realistic/realistic.

Our oc's gotta have the same kind of faceclaim. Example: if my oc's faceclaim is anime and yours is real, thats just weird for me. Our ocs would both have to be either anime or real.

Response lengths expected to be 100 words to 300 words. 100 is like, you can't think of anything. 300 is standard. You can go over this wordcount, by all means! Get them creative juices flowing!!!

If youre gonna be gone for an extended period of time plz dont allow me to think youve become amish or faked your death to start fresh in France or something. Gimmie a heads up.

Plz be comfortable to discuss your boundaries and things you'd like to try out in our roleplays!

If you aint feeling it no more, tell me. I promise i wont show up at your doorstep with a bouquet of roses, snot crying "PLEASE!! TAKE ME BACK!!! I CANT LIVE WITHOUT YOUUUU!!!". At the very most i'll be disappointed that it's over but whats life without a little let down? Kidding again, i'll probs be like "aight! Fun rping with you! :)" and be off.

Im aware we both have lives that dont revolve around our little co-operative imaginary world of imaginary people doing imaginary things.

Boundaries

In other words, seggs. smut makes me kinda...uncomfy. If it does come up in our roleplay, i dont care as long as we can just skip passed it and insinuate it happened.

I wont do anything where our characters abuse or torture eachother.

For the sake of realism, conflict, and plot development, im open to controversial and dark topics being present in our roleplay. We can discuss this further privately.
