kinda do wonder if armand’s idea for dubai was a fucked up little coven. he’s built complete control over louis. he’ll allow louis his memories of claudia and lestat back as a reward. daniel is dying and has been punished/isolated enough. if louis made daniel, then his mind is still open to armand and they’re cut off from each other. eventually, now that the trials out there, armand could decide lestat’s been punished enough, and can introduce santiago made lestat participate. lestat can come join their coven. lestat could get in daniel’s mind but he’s low enough that just being back around louis leaves him defenseless. lestat and louis can’t be in each others mind but armand can be in all 3 of theirs.

What are Clark & Bruce's love languages for each other?

I think Bruce's would be acts of service and gifts. He's a fixer, and he'll jump at any opportunity to help others, specially those he loves. Thing is, he's also a bit controlling (understatement of the century), so he'll most likely do these acts of service without asking first (same with the gifts), and I can imagine that, at least in the beginning, it'll bother Clark. But he'll eventually get that that's how Bruce shows he loves him, and he'll make a point to ask him to not intervene whenever he deems necessary.

I can also imagine a situation where Clark tells him he doesn't like expensive gifts, so Bruce's solution is to make his gifts more personalized and meaningful. Bruce would give Clark the most earth-shattering sweet gift, like something he made with his own hands and worked on for months, and he would just shrug and say "it's nothing, I just thought you would like it" while Clark is on the verge of tears.

Clark's love languages would be words of affirmation and quality time. It's canon that he doesn't shy away from telling it to Bruce how it is (more often than not, that means calling him on his bullshit), and I don't think it would be any different when it comes to telling him directly how much he cares for him and showing his affection with words. Of course, Bruce would short-circuit for a second, but he'll get used to it. I also like to think that Clark would try to make time to be with Bruce as often as he could. He would visit him at the cave and accompany him while he works, or drop by during patrol just to say hi.

It’s just…so painful to watch Armand readily submit in order to obtain the love he so desperately craves. And while it’s most assuredly a manipulative tactic, it’s still one borne out of fear and desperation. He cannot lose this person he’s come to love and so will become whatever they want, do whatever they want just so they’ll stay with him. But it won’t be enough. No matter how much he acquiesces or seeks to control (himself, others, the environment), he won’t be able to make Louis stay with him in the perfect life, perfect self he built in the hopes of finally being loved. It will all crumble with Armand left alone in the rubble of what he created, the author of his own abandonment.

the fact that armand calls claudia’s play an unmitigated hit in 2022… ‘he has forgiven me for the part I played in her death’… okay but you’ve done zero self-reflection since. but that also reflects in his continued entrapment of louis. I don’t like windows when they’re closed / louis standing outside the windows of his apartment in 2.08 after his confrontation with armand.

okay so in the penthouse, everyone technically has their own little room (some on different levels oop) but somehow, someway, tetsu + zoro always stay in my room… funny how that works

anyway, kuroo was adamant on saying up with me until midnight to say it first and zoro is usually up at that time too ! they both said it around the same time methinks :3 kuroo claims he said it first but there’s no way to tell because i was instantly bombarded with affection by the two of them

the rest told me in the morning depending on when they woke up ! the order after those two knuckleheads -> mihawk, barou, jean, dickie, and ace !! then, cue the revolving door and the freeloaders (+ uninvited guests) telling me throughout the day

there was definitely a fight for first bday kiss tho, i had to put my foot down eventually 🙂‍↔️ tetsu called dibs and sent everyone into a tizzy (naturally). it felt like i was playing tug of war all day x.x !! zoro said if tetsu got the first kiss then he gets to do something else first . . . which prompted another fight sigh !!!

i fundamentally think that it’s funnier when taylor swift haters are informed about the things she’s doing. like there’s making fun of a popular artist which is a time honored tradition, and plenty of legitimate critiques of her as a public figure and the private jet and all that. but then you get people making up fake lyrics when the real ones are much funnier. i know in my heart of hearts that if the right person got a hold of the song evermore which has the lyric “motion capture put me in a bad light” which is undoubtedly a reference to her role in cats 2019 the internet would never be the same
