My favorite thing my warden says in combat is "Have you no concern for your own existence!?"

She says it in every fight, I love it so much. Every time I replay, Rose needs to have the wise voice, I need to hear her say her battle catchphrase a million times per playthrough.

But my favorite time she's ever said it was when we went back to Ostagar. We've got Rose, Alistair, the mabari, and Wynne all together reliving the trauma of the battle right before we head to the landsmeet. We're actually super close to the end game so tension's high.

We're fighting darkspawn, but uh oh! "Look there--a cunning trap!" over by the stairs!

I rush Rose over there to disarm the trap, only to get interrupted by the last hurlock jumping in my way... and I see Alistair step in the damn thing just as Rose shrieks, "Have you no concern for your own existence!?"

I know in my heart of hearts that she actually said that to him. Alistair cannot stop himself, if there's an obvious bear trap on the floor, my man's gonna step in it.

By the way, I wanna know other people's favorite things their warden says. I know the ladder comment is a popular one for the violent voice, but I wanna hear all the others.

I figured the art was stolen the signature was there but the artist blog didn't show up in search so I was like maybe that blog just used a different name

Yeah the signature not matching was the first red flag. But that's true. People use different names across different platforms (or in my case my signature is based off my main blog name, so it doesn't match this one)

But a quick look at that person's blog kinda sealed the deal. For one, it's pretty barren with no intro or links to other social media which is unusual for a tumblr artist, and once you scroll past the stolen toradeen art, they posted their own drawing and it was clearly not a match.

#there were other signs too but ones i think only other artists would pick up on #the captions and the tags were pretty sus #artists on here have a tendency to lowkey spam tag as many tags as are relevant in the hopes of getting more eyes on it #not a rule but common #and the fact that the pieces were posted separately on the same day despite bring similar #most artists would just make one post with all the art like the actual artist did #they have their blog hidden from search but in not sure if that affects whether their posts show up in the tags?#imma look into that #ask

anyways i saw a video of non dutch people pronouncing dutch names and im proud to announce that two of my characters and one of my coworker's names are there

There is something distinctly and uniquely alienating and bizarre about hearing people say 'Easter Sunday is the most religious day of the year'. Like, when was this?? If it's so religious and so so so important, how come no one thought to tell me it was religious until like four or five years ago?

Yeah it's kinda funny but I'm also sat there every time like "what the fuck are you talking about". The assumption I was raised Christian and am Christian via culture is really funny though cause like. Bro I have no fucking clue what any of this stuff is about.

My parents never taught me the majority of this shit. Anyone else assumed I already knew about it. This Easter talk I've been hearing about a weird amount more than normal is all new to me and making me think of all this shit lmao

#no I'm not joking about only realising it was religious a handful of years back #but it IS weird to see people talk about what MUST be my default beliefs given my country and just #very little of it being true?? I don't see a lot of this talk at the moment I just heard my dad talking about easter and it got me thinking #so don't mind me really but like.#as an example of what I mean. its assumed christian cultures push the belief of going to heaven when you die #it's probably true! but not for me.
