Moyo's Great Big Afterglow Default Project

HOORAH! 🥳Finally I can share with you guys! There's a lot to get through here so some notes beforehand.

There are way, way too many hairs to list and people to credit. See everything that's included and who all deserves credit in the spreadsheet I made for this project!

Not every hair is replaced! I don't know much about hidden clone hairs, for example. Some of them are replaced if the default I used as a base included them but most probably are not.

I chose to hide a bunch of the OFB hats and whatnot when I was starting to get burnt out of this project. See what hairs I've hidden on the hiders tab of the spreadsheet. Hiders are not included, but there's a link to them.

There's a few defaults I'm using from loosiap, rudhira and seabens. They are not included, see those in the defaults by others tab of the spreadsheet.

I use a bunch of no/random npc hair mods so not all npc hairs are replaced. See those in the no/random npc tab of the spreadsheet.

I use custom turn ons that change the one for hats so a lot of the hat hairs are replaced with non-hat hairs. I think most of the flags in simpe are changed to non-hat too but not positive - some might still be hat flagged.

Defaults where all I did was change the texture that didn't contain extra ages include them in a separate file because I didn't want to add them to the main file and mess anything up. Defaults done by me have them included in the main file.

Nearly every default has extra ages, but a few do not.

The Notes column of the spreadsheet mostly contains notes I wrote for myself regarding the custom versions of hairs I retextured (which will all be uploaded) but some of them do apply to the default too. I'm so brain fried though so I'm leaving it in the sheet. You can generally ignore - or read them if you want!

Defaults are in their own folders, and include a pic of the hair they're replacing and a pic of what they're replaced with...if the kind people on the default database are bored.

I'd never made a default replacement for hair before this so if any of these are not made in the best, most optimal way, apologies. I was learning as I went!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reach out if you notice any wonkiness. This was worked on over 3 of the most stressful months of my life so I'd not be surprised if I screwed anything up. Also if I forgot to mention anything in this post that you'd like to know, don't hesitate to ask that too!

Heeeello everyone!!! How are you today??!

OMG... I'm finally bringing this big pack that i have been working on for two and a half weeks.... I thought I would never finish it haha

I usually don't make packs this big.. my limit is usually 12 poses per pack, and if they are group poses, 6 at most. But this time I had this idea, after a request i receive when asking for inspo for the Family collab... very similar to my triplet posepack I posted back in May but not just with the parents but with the grand parents on the picture, and instead of triplets, with twins... and yeah... it ended up being this big.

I don't think I'll be making a pack this size again for a long time haha But I looooove the result and how they all turned out, so I think it was worth it.

Making the pics for the cover was anooother big time spent... I didn't have a fam this big (and with twins) in my game so I had to make one... First I was going to use my simself's family from the simself save that I'm currently playing with the special events that EA is bringing to the game but then for those who follow me on Bsky, where I'm sharing it, was going to be a biiiig spoiler sharing the twins growing up, 'cause they are currently toddlers xD so, instead of using my simself AND Pizzaman's family, I decided to create an unreal fam with my simself, my real boyfriend and our parents haha... And then, while testing and making the pics, I needed to age the twins up and edit them, testing, making pics, age them up again and again xD... and yeah... it was a hard work to make the pics as well haha

But as I said, I'm veeery pleased with the poses on this pack and I really, REALLY hope you enjoy them as well.

This posepack was supposed to be published last week... but I couldn't... then, I was going to publish it last friday... but I couldn't... SO... TODAY IS THE DAY!!... Here you have this cute pack that I set up at Christmas, to welcome Christmas season... and as part of the FAMILY MEMBER collab hosted by theserenadeofshadows.

Progress Report - 4/29/24

hello and happy birthday!

...is how this was going to start when I intended to post it this past Friday. But I spent my birthday as a side character in the hit 1996 movie Twister. By which I mean there was a really big tornadoful storm here, the likes of which I've never seen before. It's never a fun time when the words "historic" and "record-breaking" are involved.

But anyway! My birthday was a few days ago, and to celebrate I have a slightly belated gift for all of you!

A release date

That's right, we're back in business here in Speakerland 😁 I'm so relieved to finally return to some semblance of normalcy, and I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to get back to doing regular monthly updates again.

As for this one, the update will be going up on Patreon TONIGHT! I'll be uploading that momentarily, in fact. That means that, barring any strange game-breaking bugs or overly tangled code, the update will be out for public release on Tuesday, May 7th!

I just want to thank everyone one more time for your patience, and for all the messages of support 💙 it really does mean the world to me.

Chapter Progress [NOV/06]

Hey all, it's been a while since I've written one of these 🍂

I've been posting regular previews on my Patreon, but a proper update was long overdue! As a refresher, my last update was this one, and I've got lots more to update you on now that I'm further along!

I've struggled a lot with this chapter and have been trying to wrangle it into shape as best I can, and I'm happy (and relieved) to say that I can finally give you an estimated release date: you can expect CH12 to be uploaded in December this year.

I won't be putting a specific date on it yet, since it could be anywhere from early December to late December depending on how much progress I make in November, but I'll let you know! Now, onto specifics.

The Main Plot

I'm currently balancing out LI specific content in the main plot! Regardless of what you chose in regards to Kham and the peri trader, players will be spending some time with D and X to make up for their absence in CH10 at the beginning of this chapter, and I've really missed writing their dynamic with each other as well as the Crown.

I genuinely can't decide which branch is my favorite. Meeting with Kham directly gives so much juicy verbal sparring and tension between not only her and the Crown but her and D and X as well. But meeting directly with the peri trader let me dig more into the worldbuilding, explore the city a bit, and have some more lighthearted shenanigans with D and X too.

I'll add some previews here for both routes that I've also already shared for people on the Patreon. Here's a little excerpt for people meeting with Kham:

“There is one thing I have been wondering, princess,” you say as you stare back into her eyes, watching the way the orange orbs of light flicker like flames. “When you first arrived here, you were accompanied by a retinue of guards. Whatever happened to them?” Kham does not raise her brows at you, exactly, but something similar to the motion as the wood above her eyes arches upwards with a stiff creaking sound. “They are not merely my guards, they are my servants first and foremost. Naturally, they run errands for me.” “What kinds of errands?” “Surely you do not think I would fetch all I require by myself?” She appears amused by the line of questioning rather than offended. “They trade with the peri merchants in your city on my behalf. Although, calling it trade is perhaps not accurate, as I hold the right to lay claim on their supplies whenever I please. They are representatives of my mother, after all.” You consider the explanation, but nothing about it seems notable or inconsistent so far. “So you have never dealt with this peri trader I wish to meet with yourself?” “Of course not.” She smiles, her wooden mouth briefly pressing together. “That would be beneath me.” “A shame,” $xname muses casually from beside you, contrasting the sharp look in their eyes. “We had hoped you might have some insight to share.” “As much insight as you are willing to offer me regarding this flower you seek,” Kham returns, her smile still in place. “The blue siren, yes? A rather strange fixation…” You feel the urge to tense, but withhold yourself from it by taking a slow, relaxed breath. All the rigorous physical training you have underwent over the course of the past month is already showing its benefits: you feel more aware and in control over your body, able to maintain your composure. A necessary skill when dealing with someone like Kham, as conversing with her feels like a dance of sorts. The two of you are watching each other’s steps, waiting for the other to slip.

And here's the excerpt for if you choose to meet with the peri trader:

You manage to make it through the marketplace, finally arriving at a large building with an open front, wrapping around the corner of the street. Tables and shelves are lined with various flowers and plants, perused by a few passing customers. This appears to be the peri trader’s shop, signaled by the sign at the front that reads Eshkar’s Garden. Eshkar being the name of the peri trader in question. Most of the flora on display you recognize, if not by the labeled names then by sight alone, but several look entirely new to you. Pale white flowers whose hanging bulbs pulse with light when a customer brushes against its leaves; bleeding vines wrapped around a miniature roofed trellis atop a tall table, its crimson flowers slowly dripping down pink juice caught by bowls below; a tall flower with only two black petals, large and pointed, that nearly startle you when they snap together several times in sharp, cracking sounds, almost as if the flower were clapping. IF CROWN IS INTELLIGENT Momentarily forgetting about your intended purpose in being here, you approach the clapping flower with curiosity, wondering what set it off. Sure enough, you see dead and decomposing flies of various sorts collected at the center of its bulb as you lean over to peer inside, taking care to avoid leaning in too close lest your nose get caught between the aggressive petals. Does it catch and eat small insects? How fascinating. You glance at the labeling of the flower, its name fittingly given as ‘black ovation’. IF CROWN IS INTUITIVE Eyes drawn by the visual spectacle of the white flowers, you find yourself wandering over to its shelf, glancing at the labeling that reads ‘stardrops’. The bulbs look ordinary at first glance, but sure enough, when you reach out to touch its petals, the flower begins to glow like you saw before. A ring of light travels up its stem, through the petals to the very ends, where it erupts into tiny little golden sparks. Hence the name, you suppose. Unable to stop yourself, you touch the flower again, mesmerized by the light show, until you notice a shop attendee frowning at you from nearby. Feeling scolded, you quickly pull your hand away and offer an apologetic smile.

Lots of fun going on in both routes! I don't envy you for having to make this choice lol.

Aside from this big branch, the main plot will converge for everyone again in the latter half of the chapter, where the Crown gets do to some more typical Crown things: hearing public petitions! They'll contain 2 smaller scenes where your character will hear out some citizen concerns, which will let you rack up reputation points with either the public or the nobility, and 1 major scene that affects a future plot point.

Not gonna spoil these since I've already talked so much about everything else regarding this chapter, so this will have to remain a surprise ✨

The Romances and Friendships

While the start of the chapter is X and D focused, if you have a specific (platonic) LI you want to spend more time with as buddies and perhaps get a little relationship advice, you'll have that opportunity at the start of CH12! I've had to write 12 variations in total for each friendship scene, which was a lot of work, but completely worth it.

Some LI routes also have big additional differences depending on if you have a low or high romance (such as A and R), while it matters a little bit less for the others for the time being (such as D and X). So if you screwed up on D or X's romances and have a low status, you're mostly in the clear from immediate consequences… for now.

Here's a little excerpt, taken from a playthrough of a Crown who has a high romance with A and chooses R's friendship scene:

Something like mischief gleams in $rname’s eyes as $rthey looks at you. “I’ve noticed you and $aname seem especially close nowadays.” You shift a little on the couch, averting your gaze to avoid $rname’s eyes as you strike a casual tone. “Do we?” “Mhm.” When you do glance over at $rname, you find $rthem studying $rtheir nails, and you begin to relax as you think it was just an idle remark. Until $rthey adds, “All the hand-holding underneath the table is endearing, I must admit. Especially since the two of you seem to think you’re being subtle about it.” IF CROWN IS RESERVED Heat flushes up your neck at being seen through so easily, remembering breakfast earlier that morning where $aname’s fingers hooked around yours beneath the table. “We were just… we’re not…” $rname looks up from $rtheir nails to grin at you. “There’s no need to look so embarrassed! I’m happy for you. The two of you seem well-suited for each other.” Trying to move past your flustered state, you clear your throat. “You think so?” “I’ve never seen $aname so at ease as when you’re around,” $rname considers, eyes narrowing with teasing and fondness both. “You look more unburdened with $athem near, as well.” IF CROWN IS FLIRTATIOUS You almost laugh at the remark and give it away completely, only managing to keep it in at the last moment and grinning back at $rname instead. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” $rname looks up from $rtheir nails with a sly smile. “No? What a shame. I was going to say how well-suited the two of you are for each other.” That catches your attention, your playfulness easing into something more sincere. “Really?” “I’ve never seen $aname so at ease as when you’re around,” $rname considers, eyes narrowing with teasing and fondness both. “You look more unburdened with $athem near, as well.”

This scene aside, CH12 will also contain another dedicated romance scene with your LI, dealing with some of the fallout from last chapter whether good or bad. If your romance is high, you'll be coasting- except maybe for D romancers, who are in Pining Hell either way haha.

If your romance is low, though, prepare for some delicious angst 🙏🏼

Your jaw hangs ajar, threatening to touch the floor as Min Yoongi, aka the manager you have a fat crush on, presents the campaign plan of your company’s new product’s marketing. Everything was fine until Yoongi suggested influencer endorsement and if this is not a joke of the universe then you don’t know what it is because you can see Jeon Jungkook’s picture gracing the screen.   

“Jeon Jungkook? Why?” you utter these words without so much of a thought. 

Yoongi looks at you with his narrowed eyes, “why not? You know, he is really famous. He is trending currently.” 

“Yeah but the reason he is trending- well. I don’t think he is suitable for our brand image.” you press on. 

Yoongi chuckles at your constipated expression, “Y/N-ah” he calls you softly and a tiny part of your heart melts, “I am sure our brand image can go up with a few charitable works here and there. But the company wants a return of what they are investing in marketing. I bet signing up Jeon Jungkook will help.” 

“Y/N, you know we are already at a tight spot right? Our last campaign wasn’t as successful as we expected. The company may take steps if we don’t do this right this time.” calls Mrs. Lee from the other side of the table. 

“And before you ask me why him, why not the other influencers…” Yoongi chimes in again, “We are selling gaming laptops and this guy is addicted to games. He has more followers than the actual streamers. He is young, hot, and talented in many areas. In one word, he is perfect.” 

“You awfully sound like you want to date him.” You scoff at the man. He only chuckles. 

Yoongi tries to say something but a knock rings on the door. One of the staff opens the door only a little and says, “Sir, he is here.” 

Yoongi nods and says, “send him inside.” 

“Who is coming?” you place the question. Only for Yoongi to smirk as a response. 

When you are about to press more, the door swings open revealing the man who-should-not-be-named, Jeon Jungkook. 

Your eyes go wide as you take him in - all baggy clothes and a cute bucket hat perched on the top of his head. Bambi eyes scanning the room like a puppy brought to his very new home. As if he is not the guy who is going viral for fucking on camera and selling it to an adult site. 

He bows deeply and opens his mouth to greet, “Hello, I am Jeon Jungkook.” 

You feel your blood pressure raising at the thought of working with him. You will survive it right? 

You will have to.

Harry found it weird that so many people at the university knew about her. He hated that they knew her for the wrong reasons.

“Styles!” Ezra Hart called out to Harry as he had just walked out of the classroom. Harry was going to make his way to the pool, wanting to blow off some steam before meeting up with Y/N later.

“What do you want?” Harry asked dryly. He never stood up to Ezra’s constant condescending comments. Ezra chuckled and smiled at his friends that stood with him.

To Ezra, everything was a big game. He was kind of surprised that Harry had responded to him in that sort of tone. He enjoyed pushing Harry’s buttons. It was fun.

“How is your girlfriend?” He decided to brush off his rude tone. He wanted to know how he had managed to catch the attention of Y/N.

“Who?” Harry frowned as he took a few more steps closer to him.

“Her” Ezra showed him Y/N’s Instagram account where she had uploaded a lovely picture that Sarah had taken of them. It was a picture of them on the train, as he was about to kiss her. It was the first picture that she had ever uploaded of them. Harry’s heart felt like it was about to explode. He felt all fuzzy inside and giddy. As opposed to other men, he felt incredibly happy to be shown off on his girlfriend’s social media. It also meant that she wasn’t embarrassed of him or to be seen with him.

“That’s you, right?” He asked again, capturing Harry’s attention again.

“Yeah,” He confirmed proudly. “That's my girlfriend.”

“Congratulations. You’ve finally grown up” He joked, “Now. Tell me. How is the sex? Good? Is she as good as everyone says? Or bad?” He smirked, “Because after all she has been with multiple other men,” Harry clenched his jaw which didn’t go unnoticed by Ezra, who could tell that he was pushing the right buttons. “How does it feel to have the leftovers from everyone in Chicago?” Ezra laughed.

Harry was never able to remember how everything in the following seconds unfolded. He just remembered coming back to his senses and finding himself on top of Ezra after his fist had already come down on his face a few times.

Mitch had been walking past that all when he had noticed that people were gathered. Him being very noisy, he approached to check it out, come to find out that it was his best friend. Mitch was quick to pull him off Ezra, not wanting Harry to get in any sort of trouble.

“Don’t you ever fuckin’ talk about her!” He yelled as Mitch tried to drag him off the scene. “You twat!” he said under his breath just as he picked up his bag and left.

No one could believe what had just happened. People hadn’t gotten involved because no one thought that Harry was capable to fight with someone. People knew him to be very serene and quiet, and today he had proven a point. Harry had proven to everyone that he was more than capable of fighting for the people that he cared for, and he wasn’t going to be pushed around anymore.

“What the fuck?” Mitch exclaimed as they walked out of the building. “What happened? Breath, Harry” He patted his back, hoping that the chilly wind would calm him down. His hands were shaking as he ran them through his hair.

“Who the fuck does he think he is?” Harry whispered as his eyes filled with tears. He was filled with rage and just wanted to go back and finish what he had started. He was tired of feeling so helpless and powerless. Mitch looked at him with concern and didn’t know what to tell him or how to call him down. He had never seen him such as.

“Should I call Y/N?”

“No!” Harry stopped walking, “Please don’t tell her” He sniffed as he tried to stop the need to cry out of anger. “Just give me a few minutes.” Mitch allowed Harry some minutes of utter silence as they walked in the direction of the athletic center. “I am sorry,” he said as they stopped in front of the building.

“What are you apologizing to me for?” Mitch chuckled, “I am just sad you didn’t break his nose sooner” He joked, earning a small smile from Harry. “Proud of you for standing up for yourself and her”.

“I am just going to blow off some steam and do a few laps before Y/N gets here.”

“Is she picking you up?” Mitch asked him not wanting to leave him alone in case Ezra’s friends came looking for him.

“Yeah, in an hour or so”

“Alright. I’ll see you. Text me if anything” Mitch called out the building’s door closed behind Harry.

Y/N arrived an hour and twenty minutes later. She pulled over outside the building and waited patiently until he died off and threw on some clothes. She hadn’t had class all day, so she wore sweatpants and a hoodie. Y/N had just left the apartment to pick him up. She had been in bed all day sleeping. She had been having nightmares that involved Brian. They had woken her up multiple times at night and had made her night a living hell.

As soon as her eyes landed on him, she knew that something was wrong. She could see it. He was in much discomfort as he walked up to the car.

“Hi,” She smiled at him as he got into the car. Harry kept his head down and gave her a weak smile. Y/N frowned and started to drive toward her apartment. She didn’t push him knowing that whatever had happened, it had affected him. She drove quite quickly and was soon enough parking. “What happened?” Y/N finally asked when the elevator doors had closed.

“Nothin” Harry shook his head at her. He wasn’t proud of what he had done. He wasn’t the kind of man that gloated after a physical altercation. He had been feeling very guilty to have resorted to fists. So, Y/N took the cue and instead of asking again, she walked up to him and wrapped her arms around his torso.

“Sorry, I didn’t make the bed” She sheepishly said as they walked straight into her bedroom after taking off their shoes at the entrance and dropping the bags at the door. “I’ve been having a lazy day” she explained, “Last night, I didn’t catch much sleep”.

Harry nodded and helped her to make the bed in utter silence. He threw himself on it as soon as Y/N disappeared to the kitchen. He closed his eyes for a second as he went over everything that had happened earlier. He was exhausted. The swimming had drained the last bit of energy that he had.

“What are you doing?” He asked as she felt her cold fingers on the hem of his shirt. “I - I’m not in the mood”.

“Just shut up” She demanded as she started to undress him. Y/N pulled him into the bathroom where she had prepared him a bath. She wanted him to relax and get the chlorine smell off his skin and hair. “Get in” she encouraged him. “See? Not everything is sex” Y/N pointed out before turning to leave.

“You are not coming in?” He asked as he soaked his body up to his chin with hot water.

“This is meant for you” Y/N smiled, “Let me just do something and I’ll be right back.”

Harry sat in the warm water, enjoying the sensation of relief and the smell of eucalyptus that the water had.

“Here” She had prepared him a cup of tea using her favorite cup that had pigs on them. “I’ve never made tea before, but I hope it’s drinkable” Y/N explained nervously as she sat on the floor by the edge of the tub. She rested her chin on the edge of the tub and smiled at him. “Is it okay?”.

“I’ve had worst” Harry smiled, feeling cared for and thankful to have her in his life.

“Now. Let’s see those hands” Y/N had brought out the first aid kid after noticing that the skin over his knuckles had opened without much dialogue, she had figured out that he had gotten in a fight with someone. Although she was concerned, she wasn’t going to push him or interrogate him.

“We need to talk.”

“What do you want to know?” She asked as she used hydrogen peroxide to clean his knuckles.

“Everything”

“Our freshman and sophomore year is a big blur to all of us” Referring to James and Sebastian in us. “We partied and drank until we couldn’t remember who we were and regretted it the morning after” Y/N shrugged, “and like most privileged kids spent our time traveling, spending money on unnecessary things.” She chuckled, “Not my proudest moment” Y/N regretted it every day and even though all those experiences had made her closer to James and Sebastian.

“I met Brian my sophomore year. I found him very charming, and he was in the same social circle as us, so we clicked. Plus, he was very nice to me.” Things hadn’t been that bad at the beginning which was why she had never seen it coming. “What an idiot” she shook her head in disbelief. “Everything carried on well for a year and a few months. There was a huge party at the end of junior year. I don’t know if you heard of it, but it was at the home of this new kid who lived on the Magnificent Mile” Y/N decided not to wrap his hand, so she was done tending to his wounds very quickly. “We met up with Brian at the party. James and Sebastian had gone with me. By the time we found him, Brian was already drunk. He and I went upstairs after I persuaded him to take a nap and drink some water. The issue was that he wasn’t just drunk. He had also taken something else” Y/N paused and fiddled with her fingers as she tried to gather up the correct words. “I don’t remember what led to it, but we started arguing back and forth and he suddenly got very violent and attempted to abuse me after I refused. Thankfully, James busted in before anything else could happen. I’ve never seen him angrier. It was punch after punch. Sebastian ripped them apart before he killed him” Y/N wiped her tears, “We hid at home for a week before flying out to Spain where we detoxed ourselves from all the shit that we had put our bodies and mind through.”

Harry was shocked. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He had thought that things were less complicated, and it had been a cheating incident something more benign.

“I never told anyone else because no one would believe me. I had been sleeping around before Brian and he could have used that excuse. I kept it to myself and asked the boys to do so too. I just wanted all of us to forget about the whole thing and enjoy the last year. I wanted things to go back to normal. Come to think of it was very selfish of me to ask them to forget about it as quickly as they did and not let them process everything at their own pace”. Y/N exhaled loudly as Harry leaned over and placed the cup of tea on the counter. “And now you know”.

Harry leaned over and gripped her chin, forcing their eyes to meet.

“I would’ve” He whispered to her, “I would’ve believed you.” Harry pressed their foreheads, “I believe you” he repeated just before he kissed her.

Hello, it's the new year and I haven't been...talking much for a long time.

As I've stated, I've had multiple health scares this year, and I -goddamn this is too formal, I dont like to talk about myself much, I'd rather keep things to myself, but I'm currently taking multiple meds for a formal diagnosis, right now I'm being treated for Bipolar. Turns out there was something up. I aint really afraid to talk about it, I mean lots of people get treated for many things and it's normal.

This was uh.....scary for me, I figured something was up and I mean I'm fine now but DAMN first 15 minutes of hearing that? Nasty. Lot of things that are super personal tied to just a lot of shit yada Yada I feel like shit for just being nonchalant about this but I don't know what else to do, I'm taking care of myself and trying to fix my life up.

But now that I'm getting to a point where I'm more stable, I'm starting to feel more ....me? Genuinely, it's gonna take me a long time to make myself get into a solid schedule, I dont think I'll ever have one, maybe the slight one i have now, but atleast I don't feel like I have 0 control over my life at this point.

Idk man I had some kind of control but I don't know...who am I kidding. I feel like a new person. I feel better, my body doesn't hurt as much.

I don't know if being a new person is a good or a bad thing for me but uh...idk idk idk maybe I kept reading through my scripts and realized something.

Anyways, now that I know when to take the meds so I can draw, I've been back to just? Drawing and having fun?

Really living by this its why I'm not online much, if I aint having fun what's the point.

BUT now I get to the uh...other shit.

So because of the meds stuff and all kinds of shit mostly......IM ABOUT TO LOSE INSURANCE...... and I've done a few things.

For starters. I'm setting up a patreon, I'm going to do it so that it would only charge when I make a post of 5-10 pages of the comic, I'm gonna get through my first half of chapter 4 before I ever even think if taking anything from ANYONE, so no monthly just for specificposts. Quite ffrankly, I do not like money, like in a way of it makes me nervous and I want people to get a bang out of their buck because I'd I don't make it good is it worth it????

tWO......I don't like advertising, I never did, I probably should of said I have them last few plushes during December (like everyone around me was saying to do and YET....there is less then 10😭) but I wanted people to be spending money on something worthwhile. Hell I mean, it's guilt, its massive guilt, there are people more in need and NOW MORE THAN EVER.....so to not feel like a thief, anyone who gets this critter here, I will donate a solid 30USD out of each purchase to a family in Gaza in need, of your choice of course. I need to pay for shipping but whatever else is left I will donate the rest. That should leave me around $40 on each plush and that's fine, I'm gonna save it for meds because when I go uninsured idk how long it's gonna be, maybe a bit maybe a while, I dont know yet but I wanna provide aid in some way. Like ceasefire don't mean shit until it's permanent, and I don't trust Israelis to hold true to any promise. So I want some of that money to atleast help SOMEONE. Because in the end I know I can get by but.

Besides all of that I'm sorry I haven't uploaded pages or drawings or anything, I wanna have a better relationship online, like I did when I was younger, when it was just fun and I had my own corner, maybe that'd nostalgia but I'm getting sick of social media, and maybe I don't wanna be walking on eggshells because of fandom whatever. So I will be trying to do more in the future, I hope yall have a good day.

The weight of your body against his was familiar—too familiar, maybe. It felt like slipping into an old hoodie that still smelled faintly of laundry soap and regret, a comfort you never quite allowed yourself to abandon.

His lips are soft, hesitant, teasing in the way that always made your heart race and your thoughts blur into a haze of want and vulnerability. The taste of him, the warmth of him, was intoxicating—dangerous—and yet, you leaned into it anyway.

You're in his apartment. The scent of cologne, faintly musky with a citrus edge, mingled with the stale aroma of takeout containers abandoned on the counter. Outside, the city hummed with its relentless life—cars honking, distant laughter, a siren wailing in the distance. But in here, it was quiet.

Too quiet.

The kind of quiet that made every breath and creak of the couch thunderous in your ears, a soundtrack to the unspoken tension simmering between you.

Your hands slid up to his neck, fingers curling into the soft strands of his hair. His low groan was almost imperceptible, but you felt it vibrate through him, a sound that rippled through your body and sent a shiver down your spine. It was a sound you’d memorized, one that never failed to unravel you.

“You always do this,” he muttered against your lips, his voice a mix of exasperation and amusement, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. The smirk that drove you mad, that left you chasing something you could never quite reach.

“Do what?” you asked, breathless, your words barely more than a whisper as you met his gaze. His dark eyes, always so guarded, locked onto yours, and for a fleeting moment, you thought you saw something soft there. Vulnerability. Fear. Hope, maybe. Or maybe you were only seeing what you wanted to see.

“Make it impossible to think,” he said, his smirk faltering, replaced by something deeper, something that made your heart ache.

You laughed softly, the sound shaky even to your own ears, and kissed him again. You knew this dance—the push, the pull, the line you crossed and redrew so many times it had become a blurred mess. But tonight felt different. There was an undercurrent to it, a weight in the way your lips lingered on his, in the way your hands trembled just slightly against him. It was as though the air around you had shifted, thickened with words unspoken, truths too heavy to ignore.

“Kylian,” you whispered, pulling back just enough to rest your forehead against his. Your heart was pounding, each beat an echo of your mounting dread. You could barely catch your breath, could barely think beyond the storm raging inside you. “Can I say something?”

His body stiffened slightly beneath your touch, and you felt the hesitation ripple through him before he nodded. “Yeah. Of course.”

You took a deep breath, your chest tight with nerves, and finally let the words escape. “I like you.”

Addressing a Few Things (hopefully for the last time)

Please don't look down on creators who make 'decorative things and texture packs.' Just because my mods are mostly cosmetic doesn't mean they're any less valuable than the 'mechanical value' you're talking about. We may not know each other, but with the disrespect you're showing to aesthetic creators, I sincerely hope we never meet.

It's frustrating to be reproached and get derisive comments for wanting compensation for my work when others literally do the same with commissions. I'm not even one of those modders who paywall sneak peeks and then upload the finished mod on ad-heavy, pop-up-heavy sites where they earn revenue.

Regarding the limited-time mod (like my September 2024 Milk Door), it's simply a fun bonus for my members—a way to thank them for supporting me all this time... and still being there for me all throughout the bad times I've experienced at Nexus and the SDV community there. I didn't think it would be an issue since it's a tiny little mod that won't even impact anyone's gameplay except for roleplaying(?) purposes of having a milkman deliver milk to your milk door...

I'm trying to balance 'members-only' and 'free for all' mods without making anyone feel left out. Admittedly, some of my mods are for members only (around 8) but I think the amount of free mods (34 to be exact) I've already shared with everyone offsets this "imbalance."

(I'm not trying to hold this over anyone, but I'm adding this little disclaimer just in case someone tries to twist my words.)

If you disagree with how I do things, feel free to unfollow. I'm gonna be sad to see you go because of this, but if you feel uncomfortable, then I understand. My content and rules may not be for everyone, and that’s okay. If waiting to download my mods for free isn’t for you, I suggest exploring other modders.

I appreciate and admire your stance on AI; I’m working on a research project highlighting the harmful impacts of CAI and was really hoping you weren’t in support of the platform.

I’m frankly disturbed by how many creators I found bots scraped from with a quick scroll. I’m so sorry it happened to you, and equally sorry to have to bring it to your attention. I hope this is more of a one-off than a recurring issue.

honestly it makes me feel almost violated.

i remember seeing a reddit thread where someone was like 'i joined a vtubers patreon and got in vc and said i use cai and they all told me i shouldn't use it' and all the comments were like 'theyre so toxic' 'they just dont understand' and guys... yes they probably did understand. if someone is making fun of you for being lonely or 'cringe' by using cai yeah they're being an asshole, but you are in the wrong for using cai. how do you think it generates writing and voices? by stealing the writing and voices from people.

i've seen cai users say the voice feature does 'feel' wrong as it's taking from real people, but none of them seem to know or want to acknowledge that the writing also steals from real people. generative writing like cai, chatbots, chatgpt, etc, have to get trained on something. and that something is real writing by non-consenting authors, ficwriters, journalists, anyone who writes anything online even someone's personal blog or tweets. even if you're making a chatbot for your own oc, and not someone else's character, the chats it generates your oc is taken from stolen writing.

as far as i can see there is no way to get my characters removed from cai. you can report voices being used without consent, but not writing.

this is what i found of my characters on cai, and it makes me really upset and uncomfotable.

they also took some of my art of ambrose and arden to use as the thumbnail and didn't credit me as the artist. even if they had credited me, i do not allow reposting of my art. also, no one in their lives has ever described arden as "smiley" (i'm not policing anyone's headcannons or imagination with that one, just pointing out something silly to lighten the mood so i don't have a complete meltdown).

yes i censored out the cai users name who made these chabots. please do not go and hunt them down, please do not go and find them or message them. especially as we don't know if they're a minor.

it seems to me a lot of minors use cai which is worrying as who knows what the chatbot could spit out regardless of safety measures they have in place. and i'm sorry anyone's so lonely they have to turn to cai only.. you don't have too. fanfic exists, rp communities exist, various online communities whether tumblr groups, discord servers, subreddits, are people still using amino? i mean if you're a minor you should be extra careful getting into online communities and talking to others online (and if you're a minor you shouldn't be following this blog) but like... imagination exists. try getting into creative writing?

idk when we did get so bored with imaginations we had to do this. you know what i did as as kid and there was no access to anything like this? i would copy and paste fanfics into microsoft word, find and replace one characters name with my own and boom you got yourself a self insert fic (note: these edited files were only ever kept on my pc, i never posted them anywhere). and there's soooooo many reader insert fics out there now, hell i literally make my own reader/listener inserts of my own characters, i'm not starving you for content out here. and i'm okay with people writing fanfic about my ocs or commissioning others to write you fanfics (my commissions aren't open).

thankfully i don't think my voice has been uploaded on there? i clicked the 'call' button to see what would happen and nothing did so i think that means there's no voice? or perhaps it doesn't work unless you make an account i don't know.

yeah sorry that became a longer rant. i don't know if more of my ocs are on cai, these are just the ones i found by searching my username in there. there could be other copies of my characters on there that don't credit me.

also a lot of character uploads use ai 'art' as their pictures which you know is also terrible and steals from artists.

and you're right, there's so many more characters taken from small creators and other VAs. i searched yuurivoice on there and got 50+ results of chatbots of his ocs AND ALSO OF HIM. please do not making cai's of real people that is so much worse than someone's oc, it's equally as bad on the stealing front but also so paraosocial. you do not know yuurivoice, you cannot get a bot to act like him as you do not know him or how he acts. watching a creators videos or streams does not mean you know anything about the real them, and especially does not mean you know them or are friends with them. found at least 5 for cardlin audios, some of his ocs and some of him. 6 for dark and twisted whispers ocs.

and if a creator gives you permission to make their oc into a chatbot... that doesn't make the chatbot okay. a creator can consent all you like, but the writers who's work was stolen to train that chatbot still didn't get to consent.

in the rare chance any cai user who's made chatbots of my characters on there sees this post: please delete them. please. you didn't get my consent for this. and you didn't get the consent of all the writers your chatbot was trained on. i don't think you're stupid or cringe for using cai, but you are contributing to generating ai content which is stealing from real humans and harming the environment.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well!!

I want to apologize for my absence the last few weeks. I haven't been feeling well emotionally so I took a couple of days off from even sitting down at the computer to play or do some poses, and when I was going to get back to posting what I had already planned, I got sick with a lot of fever, headaches and body aches, so I had to extend my time away. Then, a couple of days ago a close relative passed away so it hasn't been an easy few weeks.

Starting today and in the remaining days of the month I will be posting the corresponding poses for the month and if there are any posepack left to post, they will be the first ones for next month. I will also be posting in a couple of days the usual post of what is coming next month, so don't worry, I will continue posting poses as always.

However, I must warn you that next month there may be less pose packs because I will be working on the poses for October and Simblreen. I'm excited about it but it will be hard work and to have it on time, I need time haha... anyway, I hope you understand and I hope that you like what I'll bring for you all... and again I apologize for my long absence this month.

By the way, the surveys already have a result, thank you so much to everyone who was able to participate! They have been interesting results, but I'll talk about that better in the "coming soon" post.

Now... about the poses:

Lately I'm in my time of watching a lot of k-dramas and, watching one of those, I was inspired to make this package: a conversation between two characters who don't get along very well but who need to talk to solve a common issue. The poses I made are nothing like the scene that inspired me to make it haha ​​but hey, still, I think it can be quite useful for those who tell their stories through poses. I think there are never enough conversation poses and much less argument poses. So here you have one more little sequence.

This posepack comes with two versions. In this post you have Version 1 (V1), which takes place on a park bench. For this I used a 3-seat bench from the base game. And Version 2 (V2) can be downloaded here and are the same poses but adapted to work with the 3-seat Hipster Sofa from the base game.

These poses have the peculiarity that the characters' arms rest on the back of the seat, so my recommendation is to use the object with which they have been made because otherwise, there will be glitches with cuts or floats arms in some of the poses. However, it is up to each one of you how to use them.

Hewwo, I’m still alive! I apologize for the sudden months of inactivity.

If you haven’t seen my announcements on my Bluesky or Discord server, I’ve been very, VERY busy with 2 jobs for the past 3-4 months and I’m currently taking breaks after everything I’ve been through. I wanted to thank all of you for being extremely patient with me while I’ve been busy with 2 jobs.

I’ve tried to juggle everything as much as I can between my Discord server, art on social media, streaming, and my 2 jobs all at the same time, but ever since October hit, things haven’t been easy since I was focusing on my training at work at my 2nd job (Eventually I’m planning to resign from one of them by the end of January) and from November-December, I’ve been covering for 2 of my coworkers at my 2nd job and til this day, as of Jan. 5th, I still am. All of it has been stressful and draining my energy and motivation to do any more art, animations, and streams, but hopefully after Jan. 13th, 2025, I will continue get back on uploading newer artworks, animations, and streams! I will continue to post here on Tumblr again after Jan. 13th.

There’s also been a lot of plans and events that happened that I should’ve announced months ago, but due to how busy I’ve been, I haven’t been able to. Here are the things that I’ve been planning for myself, where I’m more active on, and what will happen to my art, animations, and streaming content:

TL;DR: These are all updates and plans on server changes and website news that happened. Bluesky, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube will be my main platforms to post art, animations, and streaming content and my Vsona’s Official Debut will be on Nov. 11th, 2025.

I hope you guys are just as excited as I am on what I've been cooking behind the scenes! I want 2025 to be an exciting year for Nijima's debut and I will take my art, animations, and streaming content more seriously on Bluesky, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube while working at my job. In the meantime, please also follow my VStreamer blog @nijimathey2kdemon for streaming and life updates as well!

1. TWITTER TO BLUESKY MIGRATION (AND TUMBLR)

Since Oct. 17th, I decided to leave Twitter for good and move officially to Bluesky. From now on, Bluesky, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube will be my main platforms to post art and content. On Nov. 15th, 2024, Elon Musk allowed Al to steal everything we post (Posts, Art, Data, etc.) like what Instagram has done. I believe this decision was the best choice for me as an artist/creator and my mental well-being.

After leaving Twitter, my mental state felt more "free" than when I was using it since February 2017 up until then. I won't be returning to Twitter, even if most artists and Vtubers are still staying on that platform (I honestly think all artists and Vtubers should migrate so that their supporters/mutuals can move on and support each other on other platforms). I can't take anymore negativity constantly at that place all the time and I can't stand seeing Elon making everything worse over there. I would rather wait until there's a convincing alternative platform for both artists and non-artists to band together and support each other. Instagram I have also left, but have been treating it more as a personal account now and have been sharing memes, other artists' art, and animations that i like on my stories (Same username: @/Goshikko). I'm still staying on IG mainly because most of my irl and online friends and artists are still active there (And finding small businesses is easier to find on IG than anywhere else), but I'm never ever posting on IG again for the same reason Twitter is doing. I feel more free not worrying and pressuring myself to post art on social media anymore and feeling pressured to getting bigger numbers and pleasing the Twitter algorithm all the time. On Bluesky, at least it does feel that way imo. It feels refreshing to start all over again even if it may suck at the same time after all the years I've built up a following, but it's better to learn that posting for yourself and why you started doing it since the beginning is a positive thing to have in mind.

2. PATREON'S 30% APPLE FEE:

Since November 4th, 2024, Apple required Patreon to raise 30% of its fee to use Apple's in-app purchase system, which includes a 30% App Store fee.

This will not discourage me and stir me away from Patreon, but I will warn anybody who has an Apple product, whether it's an iPhone, iPad, etc., DON’T pay to creators using the app! It's very disappointing that Apple forced this change to happen which will make artists' and creators' lives even more difficult since patrons will cancel their financial support because of the 30% Apple fee. All I can suggest is to not pay using the Patreon app if you are using an Apple product if you are interested in supporting me or any other artists/creators on that platform. That is the best I can advise at this point.

If you are not comfortable at all supporting me on Patreon, you can also support me on Ko-fi as an alternative. Remember that you are not obligated to support me if you are struggling financially or don't have the funds to do so!

3. DISCORD SERVER CHANGES:

I will keep this one short since this part is only necessary for my friends and supporters who are in my Discord server. If you want to know what are the changes and you’re interested in joining my server, please DM me for an invite.

The only thing I can really say on this part is that new emotes of Nijima and Rybiis (Representations of my supporters) will be coming soon after my debut so do keep a close eye on big changes that will come to this server!

4. ANIMATED CONTENT FOR MY YOUTUBE CHANEL (& THE STATE OF TIKTOK):

During the New Year of 2025, I really want to focus on my passion for animation again after being hesitant to share my OC projects for so long after graduating college. I have been coming up with many AMVs and animatics of my OCs, but haven't had the time to draw any of them. This includes projects such as my Vsona debut and many other animation ideas I've held in for this whole year (Mainly Mahito x Aiko ideas and other OC animations from personal series projects I kept secret for a long time). Animation content will be posted on YouTube and updates of those content will be on my Bluesky, Tumblr, Patreon, and Ko-fi!

As for the state of TikTok, as much as I hate it for a number of reasons, I genuinely wanted to gain a following over there, but have been hesitant to do so. Not to mention, I find "vertical styled" videos much more difficult to deal with and create since it’s just not something I'm used to doing myself. I also just never had any free time to edit any VODs or any art videos either. Since TikTok is going to be banned here in the U.S. by the government by Jan. 19th, 2025, I won't be uploading anything over there and my TikTok account will remain abandoned.

So in 2025, I want to focus more on creating animation content of my OCs, Mahito x Aiko, etc. and upload them on YouTube. I wanted to take it seriously and make it more convenient for myself as well as testing how uploading on YouTube will turn out without relying too much on other social platforms like Twitter and Instagram.

5. TWITCH STREAMS & OFFICIAL DEBUT DATE:

Art and gaming streams will still continue on Twitch and I will continue to stream as Nijima the Y2K Demon! My Vsona's debut will be on my birthday Nov. 11th, 2025 to give myself more time to complete my Ending Soon Screen and Animation Lore/Introduction before that date. I've recently been considering on not following through my sona's lore script and make something else entirely different than what l initially planned since the beginning of 2024. I wanted to make something short and doable that represents the aesthetic of "colorful 2000s nostalgia" that Nijima represents rather than her full backstory of how she became the Y2K Demon. I realized over time how animating the whole script as one animator would be a lot of work and it would cost a lot of money if I have to hire more 2D animators and voice actors for this debut project (I also reconsidered that I really don't want to make it only an animatic because I feel it shows that I haven't "worked hard enough" for my passion and I think that will look bad on me). Not to mention everytime I read the script, there is still a lot of flaws when it comes to dialogue and just... The flow of everything. Keep in mind that I started this lore script since late 2023 and has been completed in May 2024. It is now December and I really wish I had taken more time to go back and revise some things in the script. It'll be a lot to explain in text alone what specifically is wrong with everything, but after my debut, I will eventually post a PDF of the script publicly on my server and my Patreon if you guys are curious to read through the original lore of Nijima.

As for my stream schedule, after I resign from one of my jobs by Jan. 31st, I will only be streaming on Mondays, Thursday nights, Fridays, and Saturdays. Sundays will be my break days. My motivation will depend so my streaming schedule will subject to change if anything does happen in the future. I also didn't forget about streaming Slime Rancher 2 in the future so do keep an eye on that! There are many different games that I really wanted to enjoy playing and everything will be planned in the future when I have time!

December Fanfic Update

Hey, fam happy holidays and December first. Man, the year is almost over, and it's flown by like the wind. So, with that said, let's get to the updates.

So, I know I kind of broke every promise about posting some stuff for November, but I really needed that time to enjoy my break and just rekindle my motivation rest assured a ton of stuff is coming out this month and I can't wait for you to see it. Any fic that I promised last month is coming this month and more (Hopefully)

I'm also considering posting a Christmas special that takes place in an AU I've been wanting to do for years now, and hope to properly do hopefully sometime next year. Along with that keep your eyes open for two polls I'll be posting soon that will showcase some WIP titles that have been in the works for a while now. My goal is for you to choose which fic to get out in the world and posted monthly. I already have one planned so the second is up to you. Also, the second poll will be for fic's to be uploaded exclusively on Patreon. Don't worry any fic on there for the time being will eventually make onto ao3, fanfiction.net, and here so no need to worry about any strings attached or needing to pay for permanent access. (Which I would never do by the way.)

Also, also I started work on my Kingdom Hearts story again Hallow Bastion is under way and not only do I hope to go full throttle to finish that story this year but sometime next year expect KH2 to begin development.

Anyway, I think that's all I have to say. I hope everyone looks forward to the last batch of fanfic stuff for this year because I do hope to go out with a bang with that said keep your eyes open fam ;)

Just a week ago you were scoffing at your laptop watching this guy make fame out of a porn video and now he is leading you god knows where to do god knows what. 

Before you could take in your surroundings, Jungkook slams you on the nearest wall. He wastes no time in locking you between his arms. 

“You really came here only to convince me? You had no other intention, huh?” He asks with the lowest possible voice. A shiver runs down through the path of your spine. 

“No. What intention would I even have? I fucked things up at the meeting so my superiors are making me clean the mess.” Your voice comes out firmer than what you thought you could manage. 

“Oh? Really? But I think there is something else to it.” Jungkook comes closer to your body. His chest touches yours. You take a sharp inhale but keep the eye-contact intact. 

Jungkook’s eyes dip down to your chest again as he continues, “you want what you watched in that video, don’t you?” he wets his lips once those vile words come out of his mouth. 

Your jaw hits the floor almost, “what the fuck? What makes you think I want you?” 

Jungkook invades whatever was left off of your personal space and whispers right into your ear, “If you accept it nicely, tell me the truth whether you got turned on or not, I will give your company a chance.”  

You gulp at his offer. 

If you say you were completely unaffected after watching him fucking his partner so well, then it will be a lie for sure. 

So… if you swallow your pride and tell him that he indeed had some kind of effect on you - he will be up for another meeting? 

“And what if I tell you the truth?” you question, looking deep into his chocolate eyes. All you see there is mirth.

so i usually post the next 2 sketches on my patreon for the $1+ tiers on tuesday or wednesday, so they get an advanced little view of it before hand. so the ones here are all gonna be older pages.

my entire script and notes i keep in one long google doc. and i send myself feverish notes on discord to be copy/pasta'd into the doc later. i also have a rough estimation of my progress in the story and how much longer i have per chapters, since im trying to keep it to about 30-36 per chapter. i don;t want to spend longer than 2 years on this comic (though im not gonna speedrun it or anything if it ends up going long, im just hoping it stays shorter lol).

i don't script things line-by-line or like a stageplay. i tried doing it early on but i found i made too many deviations depending on how i placed panels and looking back at the script was really annoying.

i tend to do dialogue on the fly when actually sketching out the pages, because i know what i'm looking for, so unless i have the specific dialogue that i want to remember to add, i don't write any of that down. although sometimes i get on a roll writing and dialogue flows, so i write it down and change it as needed. i have scenes in my head rather than pages, and i translate those notes later when i need to work on that scene. i very rarely get actual page ideas in my head, but i will say today's update with saltburn flying thru the air and recalling some memories i;ve had in my head for months, along with the one where salt sees the angel i had planned for a while. (i'd LOVE to be able to get a ton of pages sketched at once so i can not worry about it, but the nature of the way that i work is that i just can't think in that much detail far ahead of me. so i can only really do 2 at a time)

^so it tends to look more like this, fast back and forth dialogue to get my point across that i will make fit their voices later on. also i don't use linebreaks or anything just because im lazy so my notes are a fuckin disaster

as for the actual drawing of the pages, i literally just do it i dont know how to explain it. i sketch things as fast and loose as possible , i try not to have the same size boxes next to each other unless i'm showing the passage of time or a very minor detail change between panels. large panels for establishing shots. ect. sometimes if needed i will do a secondary sketch to figure stuff out, like i needed to do a bunch when working out the first few coyote drawings since ive never drawn dogs in action before. but usually i just whip it out

this one is still my favorite, and despite looking much better than my normal sketches i did whip it out like normal (i just looked at refs for the other critters so it looks nicer lol)

additionally, i do every single page in the chapter on the same canvas because i love it when procreate crashes. i do all my panel boxes, and any "weird" shaped speech bubbles by hand. i only have one layer for flats, one for BGs, merge them together and do one overlay layer. if i need some extra definition i will add an additional shading layer but i dont like to. once im done with all the art i merge every layer together, send the page to myself on discord, and open it up on my 'puter and do the remaining text and normal speech bubbles in clip studio.

oh yeah people sometimes ask why i do 2 pages instead of one per update, or just do a bunch and upload it less often and the answer is because i don't want to be working on this comic for a very long time, and 2 pages gets me thru faster. if i spend too long working on a scene it starts getting boring for me and im more likely to cheese it which i dont like doing, but if i do two at once i can get stuff done faster. additionally, i cant just do a bunch and upload them all at once because i like the feedback, and it's better for readers to have consistent updates. i have the deadly autism/adhd combo, and my life is literally scheduled week by week and i have to stay consistent or i will die.

but yeah. my process is nightmarish and fast (despite spending like 4-8 hours per page) and loose and crazy but it works for me and keeps me engaged.
