concept: jason todd from dc vs. vampires dying like he does in issue #6 and getting isekai'd into the middle of marvel's bloodhunt event, particularly the tie-ins with vengeance of the moon knight.
would it appeal to anyone except me? no. but i could have so much fun with it.
#the moon knight / batman parallels would kill jason on the spot i think. he's dating a cat lady and everything#i think he'd get along with 8-ball honestly#would he almost kill reese and soldier on instinct because they're vampires. yes probably.#blood hunt from the mk perspective was more of a sudden invasion instead of the among us impostor thing dc vs vamps had#the paranoia jason would have. are these so called avengers actually on our side#the midnight mission even has a therapist on call they could fix him. they could do it. it could happen.

Mattheo Riddle Headcanons Pt 2
A/N: This part is solely focused on how Mattheo would be with kids! My own interpretation, you may disagree, if you do oh well, too bad <3
Names mentioned, change if you want <3 (I picked relatively rare names to make it easier)
- Girls: Aella, Enya, Callie (2 & 1/2, 5, 8)
- Okay starting off strong, I'm a firm believer that this man is terrified of children. They're like small curious little balls and he's scared. Can't explain it. They're so easily harmable.
- But imagine you've been dating a year or so and he's chill with you, obviously children haven't come up, and you haven't engaged with any, besides the First Years, which are basically just small irritating puppies.
- But then you want him to meet your family. And he's great, happy to do that... then you mention your little sisters. Oh god.
- Trying not to cry honestly, he's scared for his life. Kids are so invasive.
- But he loves you so he'd go along with it, albeit nervously.
MATTHEO RIDDLE WITH YOUR SISTERS
- Okay so it's all fine, you turn up and your parents are greeting him, but then the kids spawn in out of nowhere.
- "Y/N! ENYA STOLE MY DOLL!" Your little sister Callie says, glaring at her twin.
- Imagine him immediately slightly tensing, before you laugh and help sort them out. (Turns out they have identical dolls, and got them confused.)
- They'll then turn to notice this weird, tall stranger who is clinging to their older sibling like bindweed.
- "Who are you?" Enya says suspiciously. Imagine him legitimately gulping and looking at you.
- "Enya, Callie, this is my boyfriend Mattheo. Say hi Mattheo."
- "Umm hi, Enya, Callie." He'd be so awkward, especially when he looks down and there's a small toddler clinging to his leg, little Aella. "And... a koala?"
- Callie giggles, triggering Aella to giggle, and then get the hiccups. Enya however, GLARING. "I'm not Enya. I'm Princess Enya." She emphasises, flicking her hair.
- He raises an eyebrow at you, then crouches down, careful not to dislodge Aella.
- "My most sincere apologies, Princess Enya. How can I make it up to you?" He looks up at you, checking he's doing the right thing.
- When you nod, he turns back as Enya delivers her sentence. "You must play knights and princesses with Callie. I am too tired. I will go and nap on the sofa. 14 steps is far too far to go to bed." (relatable)
- He's scared for a second, but follows Callie into the next room, her playroom.
- "So, am I the knight?" She gives him the DIRTIEST glare.
- "No silly, you're the Princess. You have long eyelashes." She says like it's obvious.
- Mattheo glances to the door, but you've abandoned him in favour of yapping with your parents.
- Imagine u come back later in the day and he's fully dressed up as a princess, with a tutu magically enlarged for him, and a plastic tiara. He's got kids eyeshadow on, and he's playing with your sister amazingly.
- His voice is all high for the princess, and Callie is having the time of her life.
- You obviously get a picture in because HELLO?
- never ever let that go 🙏
- imagine him having a conversation with Callie about you that one of your parents overhears.
- "Do you want to marry y/n?"
- "Umm, maybe. I want whatever y/n wants, I just want them to be happy, okay Callie? Can you keep that a secret?" He raises an eyebrow.
- Callie rolls her eyes. "Boring."
- then your girl goes back to playing with her toys because honestly he's not interesting if he's not being a princess.
- By the end of ur time at home he's chill with your siblings, and realises that kids aren't as scary as he thought.
- he's less scared of kids now to say the least <333
edits made by me - do u guys think I could make it as an editor 🤔 (joking i swear)

I hope you're still taking asks for the generator thingy because I come bearing an armful of them:
7 and 10 for Trystan and Carolina
2, 8 for Tobias and Casey
And if it isn't too much 5, 9 for Zoe, Eli and Troy lmaoooo.
Mads - for you - anytime, anyhow! 😊 (Plus like we don't LOVE talking about our blorbos! lol) From this generator.
#7 for Trystan & Carolina
OK, not me dying because TRYSTAN. FOR REAL. How does one say drama queen in Drakovian? 😂😂😂 Oh, Trystan is about the drama. He's happy to bring it on purpose (like creating distractions), but he tends to bring it when it's not intentional too. Meanwhile, poor Carolina is like rolling her eyes in a corner. lol
Carolina will be a drama queen if required (again, to deflect) but in general, she's not too dramatic. That's allll Trystan's. lol
#10 for Trystan & Carolina
They're both New Yorkers... you better believe they do! lol Carolina honestly prefers walking, unless the weather is atrocious or it's really just too far (like her commute from the Bronx to Manhattan for work), she will walk. But she takes the subway, bus, taxis, Ubers, and she'll even rent a Citibike. Trystan, on the other hand, prefers driving (even in NYC traffic). But he'll walk or do all the others, too.
#2 for Tobias & Casey
HA! OK, since I did not have Ethank take the Chief position (he would have been miserable), he remained as Director of DT (which Casey was not yet qualified for). So right now, Tobias & Casey are still in Edenbrook on the DT, reporting to Ethan.
Ethan is one of their best friends, and he's even their daughter's godfather, but at work, it's professional—kind of. Tobias still busts his balls 24/7, and Ethan probably wants to poison him at least ten times a week. But when push comes to shove, they have a good work relationship when it counts. They will but heads. Tobias absolutely lets him know when he thinks he's wrong, but that's what Ethan wants. It's how they push each other toward excellence. In general, Tobias has gotten along with his bosses unless they're total assholes, in which case, he'd probably be moving on. (The man's loaded and talented, no need to tolerate that.)
Casey has a great working relationship with Ethan. She is sort of the envy of the Diagnostic Team (and most of Edenbrook, tbh) because she is the one person who can tell him to fuck himself three ways to Sunday when he's being an asshole, and he will just go, "OK," and stop. (Tobias will use this to his advantage when absolutely necessary! lol) Casey typically gets along with her bosses. She's as charming as Tobias is and not as much of an ass, so she can always make it work.
Both have good relationships with and are liked by most of their co-workers, at least at this stage of the game.
#8 Tobias x Casey
OK. Just bow to the masters because they are the king and queen of flirting. Casey is more subtle, for sure, and unlike Tobias, it's not her "go-to" mode. Tobias doesn't even realize he's flirting at times; it's kind of funny. lol Also, his flirting can sometimes be cheesy as fuck, but since he's handsome and charming, it always works. He could charm the paint off a wall. But Casey's flirting almost never fails.
Tobias lives in that mode; Casey used to do it a lot, not as much since she's with Tobias (but she still flirts with him all the time.)
#5 for Eli, Zoe, and Troy
OK, I think this is relatively low for all of them. Given the life they lead, they have to be ready to go at any moment, and sometimes, a normal sleep schedule just isn't going to happen. Their ideal amount of sleep in a night (if they could be granted a wish), Eli: 7 hours, Zoe: 8 hours, Troy: 10 hours. I think Eli and Zoe can get through a day pretty well if they don't sleep much, but Troy will ABSOLUTELY be looking for sneaking naps in all day. lol
#9 for Eli, Zoe, and Troy
HA! I'm dying. OK
Eli: Hell no. I mean, if Zoe begged, he might do it begrudgingly. Once. He wouldn't be terribly good at it. lol
Zoe: She would, probably does, and is quite good.
Troy: He would, probably does, and is quite good. lol
Thanks so much for the asks, Mads!

hello hi hi hi plsssssss tell more about the AI au? Especially what’s goin on with Octavio and the whole Splatoon 2 thing. How come Three left on a mission without Marie n Callie? How did Callie get squidnapped here? What kinda modifications happened to her and how’d they fix it? Was this Fours first mission, how’d they lose their first eye?
if ya don’t have answers for some of these that’s okie!
Omg! That's something I haven't thought about in a hot second. (That's a lie I was thinking about the aiballs the other day LOOOL) I made this post a while back but it's pretty incoherent .. so I'll try to answer your questions. Lots of rambling down below 😭😭😭😭
So the Three on a mission is sort of kept vague. It's like, how they weren't there in Splatoon 2 either, which is why Marie found Agent 4.
I'd want to think that Three was preparing for basically whatever went on in octo expansion-- when saving agent 8 and then getting knocked out (I'm a bit rusty on the events of octo expansion). It's kind of like how Date went still continued his investigations even without Aiba in AINI? So while Three is on their "mission," there's no ai-ball with them.
I was honestly thinking of axing the "two ai-balls" thing with Three just because I feel like that's OP, but I also wanted to reference the inner agent 3 thing (despite that not really being something that actually happened..?). LI tried to keep the whole ai au consistent with the events of Splatoon 2 in particular but it's a bit messy since I don't really know When the events happened.
I guess Agent 3 starts at ABIS, gets both Callie and Marie, goes on a mission without them, leads them to the AU version of Octo Expansion, and then so on and so forth. I initially thought that Three could become a psyncer after octo expansion, but their sanitized eye thing is on the right side and I wanted consistency 😭
Um. I will get into AINI spoiler territory here, since that was a lot of inspiration here too. The way Callie got kidnapped is a bit more. Uh undisclosed because I don't want to think she was just snatched, but she likely was. Since AI balls have their own will etc, I'd think that she just got a bit too Stressed Out (like how that happened in splat 2) and too careless, and got squidnapped by Octavio who is a person here. His role is basically like Tearer? Like, when Tearer takes Tama hostage from ryuki... etc etc. I'd imagine he'd use Callie as blackmail towards ABIS for reasons I don't have made just yet, but he's pretty techy, and managed to corrupt and mess with Callie, causing her to lose all her will and memories of ABIS. Basically the hypnoshades but messed up. And she gets fixed thanks to the Wadjet system just like how Aiba magically came back at the end of aitsf lol. Happy end for her I guess!
And yes! This was Fours first mission! And they didn't lose their eye in any tragic accident! Like most members of ABIS (i.e. ryuki), she voluntarily gave up her left eye to work! Now, I know in splat 2 agent four is dragged along, but I had to fudge some canon for this.
And um! I know you didn't ask about Eight, but I'm pretty unsure with her too. I don't think she was a psyncer at first. I think cuttlefish was with her. I know I drew him as an AI-ball but now I'm thinking that it would've made sense if he was a person too, and like. Pretty high up with ABIS. And he helped eight, and let Pearl and Marina assist her like they do in game. Except they're also AI-balls.
Hopefully this makes sense? It's just the plot of Splatoon 1-3 AITSF-ified, but I have nothing for splat3 💀. I'm open to suggestions for things to change too .. it was a very on the whim au I made

What Is This Feeling: Chapter 9
Fem!9th Doctor x Male!Rose Tyler
WITF Masterlist
The last time we saw our dynamic duo they had picked up a stray from Utah. Adele was only with them for one adventure, before she almost got them killed. She also got an information port embedded into her forehead which is a big taboo. You never try and change the future or past in a dramatic way. So, the Doctor once again had to save the day. Needless to say, Adele was dumped back off at her place once they were out of danger.
Ross and the Doctor were currently relaxing in the control room throwing around ideas on which place they should explore next. The Doctor was sitting on the jumper rolling a ball between her hands.
"How about the planet of Junifer? It's really beautiful this time of year. They have one of the best flower festivals in the universe," she suggested with a smile.
Ross shook his head. He seemed really off this morning. She had asked him earlier if anything was the matter. He had denied that something was wrong. The Doctor left it at that assuming he had wanted his space. However, this was the fifth place that he had rejected.
"Alright. Is there any place that you're wanting to go to," she asked.
"Well… there is one place I've been thinking a lot about. Well it's more of a time rather than a place," He started. "I want to meet my dad. Peter Alan Tyler. The greatest man in the world. Born 15th September 1954. My mum would always take out a photo album and start telling me about him. I wasn't old enough to remember him. He died on 1987, 7th of November. It was the day that Stuart Hoskins and Sarah Clarke got married. That what mum always said. So I was thinking, could we, could we go and see my dad when he was alive," he said somberly.
"Where's this come from, all of a sudden," she furrowed her brows at him.
"All right then, if we can't, if it goes against the laws of time or something, then never mind, just leave it," he mumbled as he began to absentmindedly touch knobs on the TARDIS's console.
The Doctor furrowed her brows as she studied her favorite pink and yellow human. This was a simple adventure. There's nothing wrong with Ross wanted to see his dad alive. She was just a bit worried how Ross would take in the event. Humans seem to be much more emotional than Time Lords.
"No, I can do anything. I'm just worried about you," she gazed at her companion with concerned eyes.
"I want to see him," Ross confirmed.
"Your wish is my command," The Doctor smiled. "But be careful what you wish for."
The Time Lord hopped up onto her feet and began her dance around the console, hitting buttons, twisting knobs, pulling levers. This console is originally meant for at least 8 Time Lords to operate her. It was miracle the Doctor was able to do it by herself. Although she has had many years of practice under her belt now.
The pair arrived just in time for the wedding ceremony. They didn't want to be noticed to much in case people came asking questions, so they sat in the back pew. It wasn't very formal. Jackie didn't even wear a white dress. She was in a baby pink pencil skirt with a matching blouse and blazer. As she walked down the aisle towards Peter she seemed to be a mixture of happiness, nerves, and dare she say doubt. Peter, on the other hand, was all nerves.
"Repeat after me. I, Peter Alan Tyler, take you, Jacqueline Angela Suzette Prentice…" The officiant spoke.
"I, Peter Alan Tyler, take you, Jacqueline Angela Suzanne…" Everyone's eyes grew large with the mix up. Peter tried to correct himself but dug himself an even further hole. "Suzanne Anita…"
"That wasn't even remotely close," The Doctor thought. "I never thought I would say this, but poor Jackie. This bloke must have been sneaking around behind her back. And yet she still wants to marry him."
All eyes were on Jackie now, awaiting her response. "Oh, just carry on. It's good enough for Lady Di."
The Doctor grinned. Of course, it was such a Jackie response.
"I thought he's be taller," Ross whispered.
After the ceremony, they snuck out before the newly bride and groom could make their rounds greeting all of their guests and thanking them. They were back in the TARDIS once again.
"Well that was fun, wasn't it?" the Doctor grinned as she practically skipped around the console. She had hoped this would make her little human feel a little bit better. She hated it when he was feeling down.
Ross moved towards the Doctor slow and hesitantly. He still wore a frown on his face. His eyes were trained on the ground.
"I- I remember mum telling me that no one was there. When he died that is. It was a hit and run driver. Never found out who. He was dead when the ambulance got there," Ross finally looked up and met the Doctor's gaze. "I want to be that someone."
The Time Lord of course gave in. "November the 7th?"
"1987," he finished.
The Doctor flipped some switches and the Time Rotor once again started up. Once they landed the TARDIS parked herself between a telephone junction box and a road sign by Park Railings. They stepped outside to the sound of Never Can Say Goodbye playing off in the distance. The Doctor took a deep breath in and looked around.
"It's so weird. The day my father died. I thought I'd be all grim and stormy. It's just an ordinary day," Ross softly spoke and also gazed around.
"The past is another country. 1987's just the Isle of Wight," she looked at her companion. "Are you sure about this?"
"Yeah," he quickly replied and nodded his head. He also threw the Doctor a reassured smile.
"Alright then. Off we go," she spoke with a smile before walking off.
A few blocks away Ross stopped and stared at a road with minor disbelief.
"This is it. Jordan Road. He was late. He'd been getting a wedding present, a vase." He started to choke up a little bit. "Mum always said, 'that stupid vase'."
Just then a car rounded the corner. It was Peter.
Ross continued narrating the scene unfolding before them.
"He got out of his car…" The car pulled up to the curb. "And crossed the road…" He watched with slight horror. "Oh God, this is it."
The Doctor wrapped Ross's hand with hers and held it as Peter got out of his car. She wanted to comfort Ross that was the only subtle way she could do it.
The two watched in silence. As Peter got out he was instantly hit but the driver. Ross shut his eyes during the impact. The car zoomed away leaving Peter and the vase lying broken in the street. The Doctor turned to Ross.
"Go to him. Quick."
Ross stood there frozen in horror. Tears formed in his eyes as he watched his father slow die in the street.
"I can't…" he softly whispered.
Once the Doctor realized that he was in shock and not going to his father's aid, she slowly steered him away. The went around the corner and sat on the ground with their backs against the brick wall. The Doctor held Ross's hand slowly running her thumb over the back of it comfortingly until Ross snapped out of his daze. The ambulances sirens could be heard arriving.
"It's too late now. By the time the ambulance got there, he was dead." Ross looked at the Doctor sorrowfully, with tears running down his cheeks. It pained the Doctor to see him like this. "He can't die alone. Can I try again?"
She caved once more to please her little human.
The Doctor and Ross hide behind the corner to see themselves waiting by the curbside.
"Right, that's the first you and me. It's a very bad idea, two sets of us being here at the same time. Just be careful they don't see us. Wait till she leads him off, then go to your dad," the Doctor informed him. Peter got out of his car.
"Oh God, this is it," Past Ross said.
"I can't do this," Present Ross spoke, slightly panicked.
"You don't have to do anything you don't want to, but this is the last time that we can be here," the Doctor told him.
Ross suddenly sprinted towards Peter as he was getting out of his car.
"Ross! No!" The Doctor yelled.
Ross wrapped his arms around his father and threw both of them off to the side of the road out of the way of the driver. The previous Doctor and Ross disappeared. Oh, no no no! This was not good!
The doctor didn't notice Peter pointing at her. She was too busy seething. Stupid, Stupid humans! This was all a ploy, wasn't it? Have her take him back just so he could save his father's life! Was he planning this all along? Buddy on up to her and then convince her to take him here. It's no bloody wonder he hoped on in the TARDIS as soon as he said that it could travel back in time.
The Doctor hadn't said a single word the entire way to the Tyler's flat. Even once they were inside and Peter started to yammer on about some invention. The Doctor waited until she was alone with Ross in the living room. Her arms were folded across her chest and she leaned against the door frame. She watched Ross analyzing the place and continue to speak about unimportant things in the apartment like his father's bowling trophy of health drinks. The Doctor could honestly care less and glared at Ross completely cross.
"'Kay, look, I'll tell him you're not my girlfriend," he said thinking that's why she was so annoyed. How could this daft human no understand the entirety of this situation?! How could he? He was just a stupid little human.
"When we met, I said travel with me in space. You said no. Then I said time machine," she spoke trying to cover the hurt in her voice.
"It wasn't some big plan. I just saw it happening and I thought…I can stop it," Ross defended himself.
The Doctor gave herself a sad smile. "I did it again. I picked another stupid ape. I should've known. It's not about showing you the universe. It never is. It's about the universe doing something for you."
"So it's okay when you go to other times, and you save people's lives, but not when it's me saving my dad-"
"I know what I'm doing! You don't!" She cut him off. "Two sets of us being there made that a very vulnerable point," she tried to explain.
"But he's alive!"
"My ENTIRE planet died. My family! Do you think it never occurred to me to go back and save them?"
"But it's not like I've changed history. Not much. I mean he's never going to be a world leader. He's not going to start World War Three or anything," he tried to rationalize.
"Ross, there's a man alive in the world who wasn't alive before. An ordinary man. That's the most important thing in creation. The whole world's different because he's alive," she kept trying to explain to him.
"What, would you rather him dead?"
"I'm not saying that," she shook her head in annoyance.
"No, I get it! For once you're not the most important person in my life," he told her full of bitter.
This struck a pain in her chest. She, at one point, was the most important person in Ross Tyler's life. Above Mickey, her mum, everyone. And now she wasn't. It hurt so much. It angers her that it hurts so much. Why does she feel this way? Why did she have to form feelings for this ape? She should know by now that they all hurt her. They all leave her in the end. Why did she think that this one was any different?
"Let's see how you get on without me, then. Give me the key." She held her hand out. "The TARDIS key. If I'm so insignificant, give it me back," It truly pained her to say these words, but she put up her cool, stony look so he couldn't see what he had done to her.
"Alright then, I will," he said and placed the key into her hand.
"You got what you wanted, so that's goodbye then," she spoke coolly, before turning around and began to leave.
"You don't scare me," he cut her off and stood in front of her. "I know how sad you are. You'll be back in a minute, or you'll hang around outside the Tardis waiting for me. And I'll make you wait a long time," he yelled after her.
She quickly left the flat. She didn't want him to see a truly sad she was. Her pace was quick as she walked down the sidewalk towards the TARDIS. Hot tears were forming in her eyes. She angrily wiped them away. Why was she crying over a stupid ape? She very rarely cried, and she was not going to start crying over Ross!
The TARDIS was in sight. Just as she reached it a cold wind blew past right. She felt as if something was watching her. She looked up towards the sky to find nothing there. She shook her head as she unlocked the door and started to push open the door. That familiar hum and warm was gone. Throwing the doors open she found that the inside of the TARDIS was gone! Now it was just an ordinary telephone booth. She must have been too busy arguing with Ross and feeling sorry for herself that she didn't notice the connection to her old friend had disappeared. This was not good! Everyone was in trouble.
"Ross!" She yelled before sprinting off towards the church the wedding was being held at. The flat would be empty by the time she got there. An old church might actually be the best place to be in a situation like this. She ran as fast as she could. She just hoped that she would make it in time.
As she turned the corner leading to the church she saw Ross standing on the side walk along with the bride, bridesmaids, Peter, and more. They all are in immediate danger.
"Ross!" Ross turned around and smiled knowingly at the Doctor assuming she came back because she missed him. "Get in the church!" She yelled. Ross's smile fell.
Just then they both looked into the sky to see a large creature with bat-like wings appear. It was very devilish looking. The reaper hissed and started to swoop in on Ross. He cried out in fear as it almost latched its talons onto him. The Doctor quickly took action and pushed them both onto the ground and out of the reaper's grab.
"Get in the church," she said once again, to everyone.
The ground quickly headed for the church only to be stopped at the inside of the gates when another reaper appeared. The Doctor put herself in front of the other's ready to distract the beast if need be.
"Oh, my God. What are they? What are they," one woman cried.
"Inside," the Doctor kept yelling trying to coral them in.
"Sarah," the groom yelled for his bride-to-be and stepped outside.
"Stay in there," the Doctor yells at him.
One man, the father of the groom, took in the situation and decided to try and escape. The reapers pounce on him before he could even get a few feet away. Another one appears in the bride's path and she just screams at it, scaring it away. It decided to take that vicar as its next victim. This gave the group some time to make it safely into the church.
Once inside the Doctor began to survey the area making sure they the reapers couldn't get in. Their screeches rang loudly outside of the church.
"They can't get in. Old windows and doors. Okay. The older something is, the stronger it is. What else?" Her mind was racing a million miles a second. She had to make sure they couldn't get in. At least for the time being so she could figure out how to get them out of this mess. "Go and check the other doors! Move!" She cried out orders like the true warrior that she once was.
As the Doctor began to move around Jackie followed. "What's Happening? What are they? What are they," Jackie asked.
"There's been an accident in time. A wound in time. They're like bacteria, taking advantage," she informed her as the Doctor began checking other doors and windows.
"What do you mean, time? What're you jabbering on about, time?" Jackie snarked back, like always.
"Oh, I might've known you'd argue. Jackie, I'm sick of you complaining," the Doctor rolled her eyes.
"How do you know my name," Jackie demanded.
"I haven't got time for this-" the Doctor was cut off by Jackie once more.
"I've never met you in my life," Jackie exclaimed.
"No, and you never will unless I sort this out. Now, if you don't mind, I've waited a long time to say this. Jackie Tyler, do as I say. Go and check the doors," she ordered the woman.
Jackie was shocked to finally be yelled back at. She quickly nodded her head and replied with a 'Yes Ma'am' before running off to check the doors and windows.
"I should have done that ages ago," she laughed.
The groom walked over to the Doctor. "My dad was out there."
"You can mourn him later. Right now, we need to concentrate on keeping ourselves alive,'" the Doctor told him.
"My dad had-"
"There's nothing that I can do for him," she told him firmly.
"No, but he had this phone thing. I can't get it to work. I keep getting this voice." He passed to phone to the Doctor. She put it up to her ear and listened.
"Watson, come here. I need you," it said. The Doctor smiled.
"That's the very first phone call. Alexander Graham Bell. I don't think the telephone's going to be much use," she passed it back to him.
"But someone must have called the police," he said.
"Police can't help you now. No one can. Nothing in this universe can harm those things. Time's been damaged and they've come to sterilize the wound. By consuming everything inside," she explained to everyone. Her eyes locked with Ross who was standing in front of her.
"Is this because… is this my fault?" He asked. The Doctor didn't answer as she stepped around him.
She was still really made at him, so she decided to go off and work rather than say something she might regret later. The Time Lord strode up to the front of the church and began to use her sonic to bolt the doors down. Just was she was doing so the bride and groom approached her.
"Excuse me, Miss," the groom said.
"Doctor," she corrected him.
"You seem to know what's going on," he stated.
"I give that impression, yeah," she said not removing her eyes from her work. In reality she really had no idea how she was going to get them out of this situation.
"I just wanted to ask-" he was cut off by his fiancée.
"Can you save us," she asked abruptly.
This made the Doctor stop her work and turn towards the couple.
"Who are you two, then," she asked, look at them both up and down.
"Stuart Hoskins," the groom said.
"Sarah Clarke," the bride followed.
The Doctor's eyes strayed onto Sarah's slightly protruding stomach.
"And one extra. Boy or a girl?" She asked.
Sarah looked down at her stomach and smiled while caressing it, "I don't know. I don't want to know, really."
"How did all this get started," the Doctor cocked her head, and asked curiously.
"Outside the beatbox club, two in the morning," Stuart grinned at Sarah.
"Street corner," Sarah added with a laugh. "I lost my purse, didn't have money for a taxi."
"I took her home," he said happily.
"Then what? Ask her for a date," the Doctor laughed.
"Wrote his number on the back of my hand," Sarah confirmed.
"Never got rid of her since," he grinned. " My dad said-" he trailed off with a frown.
"I don't know what this is all about, and I know we're not important-" Sarah began sadly.
"Who said you're not important? I've travelled to all sorts of places, done things you couldn't even imagine, but you two. Street corner, two in the morning, getting a taxi home. I've never had a life like that. Yes. I'll try and save you." The Time Lord smiled at the pair.
Suddenly Jackie began to call her over. As she walked over to the blonde she began to prepare for another lecture of some sort. She was surprised when Jackie asked if she could watch baby Ross while she went and looked for Peter and little Mickey. She of course obliged. Little Ross looked up at her and began to smile. This made the Doctor's heart soar. Even though she was still a little ticked at her Ross, she had no reason to be angry with this little one. He was even as cute as his current Ross.
She sat down beside him and offered him to play with her fingers a she smiled down. She began to talk to him knowing very well that he would not understand her. However, the present Ross approaching them would.
"Now, Ross you're not going to bring about the end of the world, are you? Are you?" She gave a sideways glance to Ross. "Jackie gave her to me to look after. How times change."
Ross gave a small laugh. "I'd better be careful. I think I just imprinted myself on Mickey like a mother chicken."
He began to lean in close to the baby. The Doctor put her hand on his chest to stop him.
"No. Don't touch the baby. You're both the same person. That's a paradox, and we don't want a paradox happening, not with these things outside. Anything new, any disturbance in time makes them stronger. The paradox might let them in," she informed him.
"I can't do anything right, can I," he mumbled dejected.
The Doctor looked at him and frowned. She knew he was hurting, but he needed to learn from his mistake. If he wanted to continue to travel with her then he can't make stupid and dangerous mistakes like this again.
"Since you asked, no! So, Don't. Touch. The baby." She emphasized every word so he would understand.
"I'm not stupid," he glared at her.
"You could have fooled me," she shot back. Ross looked away, sad and a little angry. She knew that she had to be the one to cave first and fix this bitterness between them. She really hated it when they were like this. "Alright, I'm sorry. I wasn't really going to leave you on your own."
"I know," he looked at her with apologetic eyes.
"But between you and me, I haven't got a plan. No idea. No way out," she confessed.
"You'll think of something. You always do."
"The entire Earth's been sterilized. This, and other places like it, are all that's left of the human race. We might hold out for a while, but nothing can stop those creatures. They'll get through in the end. The walls aren't that old. And there's nothing I can do to stop them. There used to be laws stopping this kind of thing from happening. My people would have stopped this. But they're all gone. And now I'm going the same way."
"If I'd just realized…" he began.
"Just… tell me you're sorry," she looked at him.
"I am. I'm sorry," and he meant it.
The Doctor reached out and placed a hand on his cheek. Ross held onto it with his hand and leaned into the touch. The Time Lord grinned at him and the both fell into a hug. Ross leaned back with a small jolt.
"Have you got something hot," he asked. He reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out the TARDIS key. It was scolding hot which made him quickly toss it to the ground.
"It's the TARDIS key," she grinned and quickly took off her leather jacket to pick up the flowing key. "It's telling me it's still connected to the TARDIS. Everyone! I have an announcement!" She ran up to the back of the church and faced the entire crowd. "The inside of my ship was thrown out of the wound but we can use this to bring it back. And once I've got my ship back, then I can mend everything. Now, I just need a bit of power. Has anybody got a battery?"
Stuart quickly grabbed his dad's phone and passed it to the Doctor.
"Fantatic!" She grinned. She took the battery and began to charge it up with her sonic. Once it was ready she placed the key where the door would be and it held in place. The TARDIS slowly began to materialize around it. "Right, no one touches that key. Have you got that? Don't touch it. Anyone touches that key, it'll be, well, zap. Just leave it be and everything will be fine. We'll get out of here. All of us. Stuart, Sarah you're going to get married, just like I said." She grinned at the couple.
Afterwards there was nothing much to do except wait. Ross and the Doctor sat in one of the back pews with Peter in the one directly behind them. Ross leaned towards the Doctor and began to speak softly.
"When time gets sorted out-" he began.
"Everybody here forgets what happened. And don't worry, the thing that you changed will stay changed," she finished his thought.
"You mean I'll still be alive, though I'm meant to be dead. That's why I haven't done anything with my life, why I didn't mean anything," Peter started from behind them.
"It doesn't work like that," the Doctor said.
"Rubbish. I'm so useless I couldn't even die properly. Now it's my fault all of this has happened," Peter said with a frown.
"This is my fault," Ross reassured him.
"No, mate. I'm your dad. It's my job for it to be my fault," Peter stated.
The Doctor got up and shook her head in frustration. Of course, Ross told him.
"Her dad? How are you her dad? How old were you, twelve? Oh, that's disgusting," Jackie said, overhearing the entire conversation.
"Jacks, listen. This is Ross," he tried to explain.
"Ross? How sick is that? You give my son a second-hand name? How many are there? Do you call them all Ross," Jackie yelled defensively.
"Oh, for God's sake, look! It's the same Ross," Peter said taking baby Ross out of Jackie's hands and place him into Ross's hands.
"Ross! No!" The Doctor yelled, but it was too late. She grabbed the baby and placed him back into Jackie's arms.
Just then a reaper formed inside the church causing panic. "Everyone! Behind me!" They all ran behind the Doctor as she held her arms out in a sad attempt to protect them all. She stared up at the creature with fear in her eyes. "I'm the oldest thing in here."
Within a blink of an eye the reaper flew towards her. There was a second of pain. Then darkness.
The Doctor woke up on the ground where she was attacked completely unharmed. She felt her body and did a quick once over. She was fine, and was not regenerate. While getting up on her feet the first thought to cross her mind was to find Ross. As she stepped outside she began to observe the situation. Peter was lying in the middle of the road once again with a broken vase. He must have sacrificed himself to set everything right. She walked up next to Ross.
"Go to him. Quick," she told him.
With that bit of encouragement, he ran off to be with his father during his final moments. The Doctor finally approached the scene once I was over. She held put her hand for Ross to take. He did, and the two walked hand in hand back to the TARDIS for some much needed down time before their next adventure.

Okay so I'm dumb here's a one shot
I know I said everything that's a story would be posted on AO3, but, I have dumbass energy and was inspired by the reblog I made earlier and it is 2 am on a school night so WOOO incoherency is at an ALL TIME HIGH
@infinimay whoop tagged u for what I'll call the Bus Duty AU
Perhaps I'll make this a series?? Something light, fluffy, nothing too heavy on the angst (okay I lied)
--
The Wheels on the Bus (Spin the Tales of Love)
Chapter 1., Like Patton
Virgil and Damian woke up to get to school at precisely 7:30 am, and to be ready by 8:10 for when their bus arrived, every school day.
Their mother, which is now Virgil's stepmother, always said that a tight schedule and tighter patience is what wins people over. That must be how she got Virgil's idiot dad, who took nearly three years of coy smiles and teasing touches to even start dating. They had married this year, and while Virgil is certainly happy about it, he didn't realize that it came with having to deal with a new stepbrother.
That's why, instead of 7:30 and 8:10, Virgil rises at 7:15 and is waiting by 8:00. Their mother never notices, never needing to wake up this early for work, and their dad works night shift. They were by themselves, but they handled it for nine year olds. Virgil especially figured out how to handle it as soon as he figured out that despite all this change, he was still by himself.
"Vi! Vi!" Damian, or DeeDee as he liked to be called, shouted as he approached Virgil at the bottom of the street. "Why do you never wait for me?"
Virgil shrugged. "I don't know, you give me a weird feeling, like cooties, but nice? Like wriggling worms in my head. It's sticky."
There was silence between them as they waited for their bus.
"You give me wiggly feelings too. Truce?" Damian suddenly said after what seemed to be forever to their adorable little minds, and he outstretched a hand.
Virgil took it. "Pleasure doing business, Worm boy."
Damian pouted and pulled his hand back, but didn't need to wait much longer in cute anger as the bus pulled up to their street. Seemingly forgetting the nickname, he pulled Virgil along onto the bus.
"Hey, kiddos!" their favorite, and only bus driver greeted as they sat in the front row.
Virgil never liked the bus, despite how early he was this year. It was loud and cranky and he had to sit next to DeeDee and there were always the mean kids who flicked his head as if a ping-pong ball on the way to their seats. The one thing that made it bearable was the fact he got to sit close to Patton.
Patton had allowed them to use his first name from the get go, inspiring names like "Patting!" from the kindergarteners or "Shatting" from the mean sixth graders. Virgil never tainted the name for he saw no reason to change what was already his favorite part of the morning.
Patton gave them treats on their birthday, never forgetting a single one. Patton hugged them when they were sad and showed them that crying was okay. Patton never yelled or screamed when things got too loud; he knew better than to plague these children with learned behavior, scorn, and hatred. Instead he'd play games that involved the whole bus to busy everyone, or at the very least play music and encourage them to sing along or guess the song.
Patton made things better. But Virgil knew he was sad.
Today, even with Damian's unwavering questions at everything he saw and with the fake stories he kept saying to the kid in the seat next to them, even he could tell that their bus driver was tired.
The two observant fourth graders watched as their second father didn't smile as brightly as he usually did whenever he greeted the kids getting on. He sagged; sluggish and baggy. Virgil noticed he looked a lot like his cousin Remy before a test under his eyes.
However, despite how observant, Virgil never knew how to comfort the gentle man. It's why he and Damian are in the front row. The doctors said he has a "speech impediment" where he couldn't put the words in his head to the outside world quite right. They said his brain was wrong. He knew Damian had a streak of lying and throwing tantrums. It's why he didn't like his new brother; he only served to make him look stupider.
Still, that didn't stop Virgil from putting a hand to Patton's shoulder, at least not entirely. He didn't expect for him to gasp and jump, but Virgil didn't exactly know what to expect anyway. He just pulled his hand back and looked down at his ripped pants in shame the rest of the bus ride.
--
They got there slower than Virgil had thought, but no, they were on time. Perhaps his brain was being weird again? He couldn't tell, but either way he walked begrudgingly by Damian into the school.
They passed by their school's office on the way into the gym, which is where you wait until school started. Virgil, again, ever the observant one, saw his school secretary in the window.
He was what was best described as professionally squabbled, or in Virgil's terms, cleanly messy. Mr. Nguyen had hair that was combed back just so and glasses that hid all his worries and fears. He had impeccable pressed ties that, on the occasion, got festive when a holiday came around. He had skilled hands and Virgil hadn't walked by a day where he wasn't working or presenting a board meeting or, if he wasn't doing that, wasn't there at all for the whole day.
Virgil never really disliked Mr. Nguyen. He had no reason to like him either. But right now, Virgil could see he looked exactly like Patton did; utterly miserable.
"Hey, DeeDee, y'see Mr. Nguyen? In the window?" Virgil whispered as he sat right at the entrance so he could get a good look at him.
Damian merely ignored him. "We always see him. What's the big deal?"
"The big deal is," Virgil started, already frustrated with the words that wouldn't come out. "He like- he- he's Patton today."
Damian rose a brow, a suspicious trait he most likely picked up from his mother. "You mean he looks like Patton did today?"
Virgil could only nod in relief. "Yeah! He looks Patton today. Do you think the teachers look like that today?"
Damian scanned around the room. He saw nothing out of the ordinary on the teachers' face. However, he did spot a certain trashy boy that Damian all but felt puppy love for. He waved him over. "Rem! Rem!"
The boy, peeking from the corner around his preoccupied brother at his name being called, grinned a crooked and partially toothless grin and ran over to Damian. They merely embraced before Remus took out his backpack, no doubt to reveal some gross frog from his collection.
Virgil cared less and just kept staring at the office, seeing Patton and a few other drivers come in for their mandatory morning report before they head out to go back to whatever they do when not driving. Patton still looked like a walking corpse.
Virgil vowed to take that frown away.
However, the school bell had other plans.
--
Virgil thinks that time really has slowed down, and maybe it isn't his stupid brain.
Every minute of class felt not as much a blur as it usually was. Usually, class was as easy as it got, and today he even got to skip out of gym for speech classes. He liked the speech teacher, Valerie. She allowed him to say her first name like Patton did. Virgil liked Valerie too.
But even his marvel at how fantastic his day had been so far didn't distract him from the fact his bus driver was unhappy.
Virgil sat with Damian and all the other broken kids at lunch. Remus was there too, and as much as he loved Damian off his back, the two talking about frogs and the fact the French eat frog legs was already starting to get on his nerves. He just focused on his sandwich and juice box, never saying a word.
It became time to throw out the food, and Virgil knew it was gametime. He looked to everyone at the table before rushing, the other two running to throw out their styrofoam plates the fastest.
Sadly, like always, Virgil's dreams of success were barred by Remus's long, nimble legs and long, skinny arms.
Virgil wanted to pout and tell them that Remus always wins, but Mr. Glover came in to clean and one look sent the three of them scrambling to recess.
--
Today they had art time, and Virgil had never been more determined in his life.
He grabbed construction paper, glue, crayons, markers, tape, and a How-To: pop up book. They were supposed to be making Thanksgiving cards for one of the staff members, and technically he was following what he was supposed to do. It was just that Patton's name hadn't been listed on the board to write to for their fake post office.
No matter. He would make the best card ever to cheer up his favorite and only bus driver. Damian seemed more interested in watching Remus eat the glue stick and then calling for them to go to the nurse.
Virgil ignored the two's antics in favor of focusing on his masterpiece.
--
Finally, at the end of the day, with high hopes and spirits and even better hope for Patton, Virgil all but ran to the bus he remembers so clearly beyond anything else. Damian followed close behind, sitting beside him in the seat they always sat.
Virgil heard Patton greet him, as always. Virgil could still hear how tired he was. He looked as pale as Virgil did.
Virgil, without prompting, took out his card and shoved it into Patton's hands before taking his seat and covering himself up with his hoodie as far in the seat as he could go.
Patton watched the young boy sat back down in a hurry before looking down at the card. The craftsmanship, of course, could be better, but honestly Patton could hardly care. He read the "I Think Your Cool" at the top and then a hand drawing of a turkey, covered in glitter and Patton's signature blue.
Patton almost cried, and then did cry when he saw the inside.
It held handwritten words with a picture of presumably Virgil fighting away the storm clouds over Patton; the bus with muscles and also beating up the stormcloud. The words wrote "I saw your sad face. I want to fix it. See! Fixed it!"
When Patton looked up, sniffling and holding the card dear to his heart, he saw Virgil peaking out from his jacket. That little boy held the softest smile and even Damian stopped for a moment to grin, gap tooth apparent but not even a hint of malice could fill Patton at this moment.
Last night had been so awful, but maybe today hadn't been so bad. No, today had been fantastic. Virgil fixed his heart for just a moment.

I was going to hide this all in the tags but it was turning into an essay.
My dad collected, played, built, and sold bizzare off the wall obscure as shit musical instruments.
When my brother turned 8 my dad bought him a harmonica, but my brother had no interest in it and so my dad picked it up and taught himself. He played the harmonica note for note instead of all bluesy-like no one I've ever heard. he was so good. Yes i know the harmonica is not that obscure. This was just the beginning.
Then came the hand drums - still, not all that obscure, but his love of percussion led to other drum-like things. He had SO MANY drums. My favorite was a massive and loud gathering drum that I would sometimes get inside during a game of hide & seek. It was that big.
Then the digeridoos. Those loud ass long Australian pipes? Yep. Dad bought one after playing it in a music store. Then another. Then he figured out how to make them at home with PVC pipe and wax. He made different widths and lengths to create different tones. After he got them just right he would paint them and off we were to the farmers markets!!! He probably made and sold 100ish.
Then the tounge drum. Its a little wooden thing with a similar concept as those little kalimba thumb pianos except instead of using your thumb, you bang on the wooden tongs with a bouncy-ball on the end of a stick to make different tones. He tried to make one but it was a flop, and he didn't like the original enough to try again. I still think they're cool though.
So many maracas. (I know they're common but I hafta include them because we had an abundance. Way more than any one family should ever have.) Most of the maracas he picked up in different countries. I know there were some from Chile, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, but I'm not sure which came from where. Again, I think he tried making some at some point, but he was never happy with the end result. He had a huge collection of other small percussion instruments but after questioning mom and all the siblings, no one really knows where they came from.
Then the cajon!!!! A Cajon is a box drum you often see street musicians sit on and play. It has a snare inside. Way cool. Dad made one on a whim, without having a real one to look at and compare it to. Considering the fact that all the pieces of wood (and LAMINATE?!) were just scrap that came from one of his construction jobs, it turned out pretty awesome. Two years ago he finally bought a "real" Cajon, only one small adjustment- ITS ELECTRIC! I didn't even know they made electric cajons but they are AWESOME. (When dad passed it was the first thing mom sent home with me. I have only taken it out once. Someday when I'm ready I will give it a purpose and I look forward to that day.)
Shofars. Here we go. This was the instrument I was the most involved with in the process of making. A shofar is literally just a hollow animal horn with the end cut off. It's the "trumpet" that was played in Bible times. There are many different traditional/historical trumpet sounds that have significant meaning to Jewish and early Christian cultures. Dad would buy long Kudu (like an African antelope sorta??) horns off ebay and have them shipped completely intact. They would come in really rough shape because, well, they were cheapest that way. And dad had more time than money. So he would take those neon pebbles you put in fishtanks and he'd pour a bunch of them into the horn and put a rag at the end secured with a rubber band and then he'd hand it to me to shake the hell out of it. This was to smooth out the inside and chip away all the gunk. It took like, hours of shaking each one to clean them out. Then he'd take oil (I cannot remember what kind of oil right now but I know it smelled strong, maybe honestly incense??) And rub it all along and inside the kudu horn because they STINK. Like death. Because they're dead. He'd sand the hell out of the outside and rub this oil on it to get it all nice and smooth and shiny. Then he'd cut the very tip of the horn off, but he had to be careful not to make the hole inside too big. The opening had to be like the width of a pinky or smaller. We'd play around on them, blowing them and sanding down around the mouth until either of us could get a good clean bellow out of it. Dad was a spiritual man, so after each one was finished, we would play several different ancient calls on them to bless them before they were given away or sold. Dad gifted these to a few different couples on their wedding days. After the ceremony was said and done dad would take them away to a more private area and tell them about the history and cultural/spiritual meaning and then, with with thier consent he would play a few blessing calls over them. If you feel inclined, you can Google "calls of the shofar." There's a lot there and I think its so feckin cool. There was actually a larger market for this than we thought. Dad made and gifted/sold maybe 50-70 of these. This was all during Dad's ebay phase. It was a weird time. They were labor intensive and time consuming so when I moved out dad pretty much quit making these alltogether.
The gut bucket. Also known as a bucket bass. This is another favorite of mine. Dad and I would go to hillbilly mountain music festivals and one time he showed up with a plastic 5 gallon bucket turned upside down with a string attached to the middle of the top of the bucket and the other end of the string was attached to a really big stick. The idea here was that you move the stick to tighten or loosen the string and then pluck it. The tighter the string, the higher the tone. The looser the string, the lower the tone. This was mainly a backup rhythm instrument to be played with a bluegrass kind of band. It was super freaking cool, but the way dad designed it, it looked like a toilet. I will never unsee "toilet instrument"
There's probably a bunch I'm forgetting, but our house was filled to the brim with wacky sounds and I loved it. Mom hated it but loved dad more than she hated it. My dad was cool as shit.
What is your dad’s weird hyperfixation??? They all have one
