The Chavs and the Chav-Nots
"Look, Heidi, I know this sounds crazy, but trust me, it's going to work. The plan is solid. I take the Chav juice I invented, and bam I'm a chav for 24 hours. A full day to go undercover as the ultimate chav bitch. I'll be just like them, blending right in with those girls who make our lives hell. I know you're worried, but it's our only shot. Weâll get the dirt we need to stop them.
Hereâs the thing, though, once I drink it, I wonât remember being me. Iâll be all in, completely believing Iâve always been a chav. I might not even go by the name of Jess anymore. And that means⊠I might come after you too. I might bully you just like they do. But you have to remember, itâs not really me.
When the 24 hours are up, Iâll be back to normal, and weâll have everything we need. It'll be tough, but itâs worth it. Weâre so close to turning the tables on them, Heidi. This is our chance. Just hold on for one day, okay? Ok here goes nothing."
"What the hell am I wearing? I must have blacked out from all the partying and stole your loser clothes. Thankfully even in these fucking shit outfit and virgin glasses Iâm still a fuckinâ knockout.
I need to get out of here before someone actually sees me with you. Do you know what that would do to my rep? Being seen with someone like you? Ugh, it's disgusting just thinking about it.
Honestly, I don't even know why you even go to school. It's not like anyone actually likes you. You're just this sad, clingy little parasite, always hanging on, hoping someone will notice you. Spoiler alert, they donât. You're invisible. Youâre fuckinâ nothing, not like me.
Ugh I feel like your ugliness will rub off on me if I stick around any longer. I need some new sexier clothes. Out of the way fugly and if I see you again youâll wish you were never born.â
"Heidi⊠oh my God, Iâm so sorry. I remember everything. All the horrible things I said to you as Jessi⊠thatâs what I⊠I mean she, calls herself. Itâs like I was trapped inside my own head, watching it all happen. I felt every nasty mean thing she did. I didnât mean any of it, I swear.
Thankfully I got a lot of juicy dirt on those evil bitches but youâre not going to like thisâŠ. I need to become Jessi again. They opened up a lot to her but I could tell they were still wary of her. I just need to spend more time with them and do what they do and gain their trust.
Thankfully Jessi bought some new clothes while she was in control. I know they are slutty and revealing but they are they perfect to fit in with them. Jessi is a perfect chav.
Of course it helped that the juice transformed my body too. I didnât expect the big tits, the fake tan, the blonde ponytail, or the press on nails but it certainly helps sell the look. I even think some of the chavs are jealous of Jessi.
And, I canât believe Iâm saying this, but it was kind of⊠nice? I mean, not the whole âbeing a complete bitchâ part, but having them be jealous you know? Anyway I better go get changed into my âJessiâ clothes. Sorry in advance.â
âI thought I told you Iâd beat the shit out of you if I saw you again loser. What are you even doing at this party, itâs only for hot studs and bad bitches like us, isnât that right girls?
This is the fuckinâ train wreck I was telling you about girls. Oh you know her? Yeah I guess she is hard to miss, like a wart on a diseased foot. God, just look at her. Honestly, Heidi, youâre a joke. I mean, who even lets you out of the house looking like that? Whereâd you get those clothes? A charity shop? Theyâre so tragic. And that hair⊠yikes. Ever heard of shampoo?
Sheâs starting to make me gag girls. Kayla, kick this bitch out will you, I donât want her putting me off fuckinâ Derek later. So long dork.â
"Heidi, Iâm sorry⊠again. I know I was awful, but you have to understand, I got even more dirt on those girls. Weâre so close to taking them down for good!
Did I have sex with Derek? As in Delinquent Derek the hardest guy on the estates? No⊠I donât so? I mean itâs all a little blurry, Jessi was drinking a lot. I only have patches of the night but Iâm sure she didnât. He was texting my phone this morning calling me a bad bitch so Iâm sure she told him off.
Oh these hoop earrings? Yeah theyâre Jessiâs but I find itâs an easier transition to being her if Iâm already wearing some of her stuff. Sure her body fits everything so much better but sheâs likely to question everything less if sheâs ready to go. Plus I kind of like the way the look on me, theyâre sort of sexy donât you think? Do you think should wear more makeup? Then again what would you know? Anyway I better go get ready for Jessi.â
"Aww, look at you, Heidi, crying like a little baby. What, did I hurt your feelings? Pathetic. You should be used to it by now. Youâre so weak it makes my stomach turn.
Iâll let you in on little secret though. I know all about Jess, my loser alter ego. The more sheâs transformed into me the more of her memories have slipped into my mind. The more control Iâve taken. Her smarts have let me take over the gang. They are all dumb sluts so it was easy to manipulate them into making me their leader.
But itâs a two way street. Iâm sure youâve noticed Jess has become a little bit meaner, a little bit hotter, and a little bit vainer. All thanks to yours truly. Poor little Jess thought she could control me, use me like some tool to get her way. But she didnât realize how strong I am.
Just a few more times, and Jess wonât exist anymore. Sheâll be gone, and itâll be just me, Jessi. Forever. And you? Youâll be stuck dealing with the real me, the one who doesnât give a fuck about you or your pathetic tears. I love being an evil chav bitch and soon Jess will too.
But donât you go getting any ideas about telling her what Iâm up to. Iâve got her dosing on juice everyday but she could still reject me and try and go cold turkey if sheâs convinced, so this will be our little secret.â
"Heidi, what are you talking about? Jessiâs plan? Jessi doesnât have a plan, she doesnât even know about me. Youâre just overreacting. Iâm in control here, not Jessi. I know what Iâm doing.
Youâre just jealous because the juice has had some delicious side effects, like making me fuckinâ tasty. Iâve had to wear all the clothes Jessi bought because theyâre the only things that now fit me. The fake tan, nails and makeup is just to compliment it all.
Or maybe youâre just jealous because the Chavs have stopped bullying me entirely. In fact they kind of fear me. Maybe thatâs whatâs really bothering you. You liked it better when I was just plain old Jess, right? Anything to draw attention away from you.
And come on, Jessi taking over? Thatâs absurd. I know who I am. Iâm still me. Kind. Smart. Caring. And sexy as fuck. Maybe Iâm just... improving a little, thatâs all. Whatâs wrong with that? You canât handle the fact that Iâm finally stepping out of my shell.
Honestly, Heidi, youâre starting to sound like a paranoid freak. Youâre just trying to hold me back because youâre afraid of being left behind. Maybe youâre the one who needs to change, to toughen up a bit. Ever think about that? Anyway I have better places to be now.â
âWell, well, Heidi. Look at you. I didnât think you had it in you to try and tell Jess about my plan. Gotta say, Iâm impressed. Didnât think you had a backbone. But thatâs why I had the girls tie you up and bring you to me.
See, Iâm so close to making sure Jess is gone for good, and I canât let you derail my plans. Youâve always been such a little thorn in my side, but something Jess said to you made me think that maybe I could get your pushiness to work in my favour. Maybe itâs time YOU changed.
Open up, Heidi. Youâre about to get a taste of what real power feels like. Just a little modified Chav juice, enough to see things my way. Thanks to Jessâ brilliant mind Iâve adapted it to make you into everything I need you to be. Come on, donât make this harder than it has to be. Itâs time for you to join the winning side.â
"You know I wasnât sure at first that your idea of you imbedding yourself in with Jessi was such a good idea, especially because she really seemed to hate your guts but these past few days Iâve seen flashes of you and her hanging out and youâre as thick as thieves. Youâre very convincing. It helps youâre started dressing like all the other Chavs too. Donât get me wrong, you look proper fit now babes. I mean⊠you fit in so well with Jessi and her crew!
Speaking of which Iâm so glad youâve changed your mind about me taking the juice, you get that itâs only going to be a few times more and then itâll be over. I wasnât sure youâd see things my way, but now youâre being so supportive, so encouraging. It makes this whole thing feel so much easier.
And I have to admit⊠I do enjoy being Jessi sometimes. Sheâs so fuckinâ hawt and nasty. A proper slag. Oh sorry about that, she slips out out from time to time. A lot more recently. It just feels so freeing to not have to worry about anything. Sheâs a real bitch and gets what she wants. As she should!
Shit I was going to wait a few hours but what harm could it be to take some juice now? Thanks Heidi youâre so supportive. But you know what first? Letâs you and I get dolled up so when Jessi takes over sheâs ready to go with her âbestieâ.â
âMmmm yesss that did it. I can feel the last of that loser is out of my system. I have to hand it to you babes, this would have taken weeks to do if I didnât have you by my side. I always knew you had potential, but damn, youâve become the loyal bitch I needed. Together, weâre going to run the school, no doubt about it.
Funny how Jess tried to go undercover with the chavs and what brought her down was me her better half infiltrating her world with you as my perfect hawt weapon.
And as for me⊠just look at me. Iâm the perfect chav now. In fact Iâm the fuckinâ chav Queen! Shedding that weakling Jess was the best thing I could have done. Iâm everything she could never be.
But you, youâre my best creation. A slutty bestie who is unwavering loyal and a fuckinâ stunner to boot. Mmmm the trouble we are going to get up to is making me so wet.
After I dosed all the other girls with anti-chav I needed to start building a better gang anyway. They were just posers compared to us. Itâs going to be so much fun converting the other nerds into chav babes and bullying our old enemies.
Weâre the Chavs now and their just the chav-nots.â

âLovin her seems tiring..â Part 2
Taggies/ warnings; Pro!HeroKats, cheating, fingering, creampie, blowjob, ridding, cumming, squirting, swearing, mention of sex toys, dirty talk, titty fuck, drinking, drunk messaging, dry humping.
part 3!
After that crazy call with your boss, you went right into making reservations so you donât get yelled at the next week of work.Â
Wait. Is his girlfriend coming? Should you call and ask? Would he be mad? Do you reserve two rooms? One for you, and one for him? Of course you would! Why wouldnât you? Donât make this weird y/n.
You had a lot of what ifâs. But, you wanted to be brave and call your hot headed hot boss.Â
ring, ring, ring.
âThe hell ya want now? Thought i made myself fuckin clear.â He grumbles into the phone.
âU-uh,â you stutter. âS-so, is uhm, Kira coming like she usually d-does, or..-âÂ
âNo. Just make two rooms. One for you and me.â
âOkay! Thank you for letting me know. B-but i do have a question Mr. Dynamight.âÂ
âLay it on me.â He says calmly? Wow, youâve never heard him so calm before.Â
âSo, why Iâm I coming..?â You ask a little scared.
âNeed ya to come with me cause youâre my damn assistant and you should do as I say. See ya next week y/n.â
He hangs up. God, his voice was so sexy. You couldnât get enough of it. At least his bitch of a âgirlfriendâ isnât coming.Â
You go to work the next week after your short weekend. You get packed to go to Tokyo, and you plan to maybe go to Tokyo Disneyland since itâs not like your gonna be on patrol with him, right?Â
Right?Â
You make your way to the bus station to get to the Dynamight agency. It was snowing and a horrible day to wear a white high waist mini skirt with a cute flower cardigan. At least you have a snow jacket and shoes in the office.Â
You pay for your ticket and get on the bus. The bus station was pretty packed, you cant be late today. You decided to go on your phone to see the news, until you get a text from your boss.
:Dynamightđ§Ąđ„: I need ya to get to the fuckin office now. Go to my office when youâre here.
:y/n: sorry! Bus station is a little full today. Iâll get there as fast as I can! :D
You see the Dynamight agency and run out the bus as fast as you could. You knew Bakugo was a hot head and the last person you wanna piss off. It was kinda hard to run in the thick snow with uggs on, but you couldnât care less. You NEEDED to get to your boss.Â
You open the large doors and greeted the front lady that at gives you little candies.Â
âThank you Mrs. Hellen!â You wave goodbye and pop the candy in your mouth. You get to the elevator and press floor 8. As you get on, you notice you have a big whole in your tights. Fuck. Those were new too! Damnit.Â
You gracefully walk to Bakugoâs office and hear grunting on the other side of the door.
You knock on the door and you hear Bakugo startle and race to get up. Youâre not sure what he was doing, but your little dirty mind thinks something else.Â
âWhat-â he looks down at you. âGet in here,â He pulls your wrist inside his office.Â
âGood morning to you too, Mr. Dynamight.â You give him a warm smile and he falls back on his chair.Â
You notice his face is a little red and his cheeks are slightly puffed. You couldnât help but also noticed a bulge in his hero cargo pants.Â
âAy, eyes up here sweetheart.â He says with a a smug smirk.
âO-oh sorry. I was just thinking about my uh, hole in my tights.â You said. Nice save, you think to yourself.
âUh huh.â He says turning his chair so the back faces you.
âSo Mr. Dynamight-â
âWeâre leaving tonight, did ya pack your shit?â You noticed he clenched his jaw when he span his chair to face you again.
âYeah.. uhm, are you going to pick me up or-â
âYeah. Text me your address when I leave.âÂ
âOk.. thank you for your time.â You spin on your heel to leave. You opened the door and took slow steps.Â
Well, guess you should start working.

who you are and who youâve been
pairing: bucky barnes x reader
word count:Â 8,490
summary: Sometimes love takes a little longer to find you.
warnings: SMUT. Mention of past abusive relationship, drinking, swearing.
a/n: Â Thank you so much to @zeilenkrieg for commissioning this and being so patient while I wrote it!!
âMama! Mama! You here?â
You sighed as you looked up from your coffee, seeing your daughter coming through the living room. She had on that pair of daisy dukes that she stole from your wardrobeâthe ones you used to wear in the heat of summer, a white shirt tied to let the sun on your tummy. You used to scandalize your own mama with that outfitâŠÂ
You had argued with her that she had worn the same kind of outfit back in the seventies, and that vintage was in. But she liked to wear hers with cowboy boots and you preferred it with a good pair of sneakers.
God, you missed being youngâŠÂ Your twenties had been absolutely wild, even if they had started out with that horrible pandemic in 2020.
You still washed your hands after touching almost anything. An instinct that never went away.
That year and the couple years before had been⊠insane. But at least it incited real change in the world. The people had learned from their mistakes, at least for now.
History did have a habit of repeating itself. Humans were fickle, forgetful creatures like that.
âYes, honey bun?â You said as you stood up, moving to hug her.
At thirty-seven years old, she was the only good thing that ever came out of your marriage. That, and knowing how to wash blood out of clothing.
The only problem was that by the time youâd finally left him, you had no friends left. You were in your forties by then, with no family besides your daughter, and no friends left to speak of. You hadnât even had Facebook at the time to keep in touch with old schoolmates from university. And by then, what was the point? They were all leading completely different lives and probably hadnât spared you a thought in at least a decade.
âWhenâs the last time you left the house?â She asked, her hands on her hips in a stance that reminded you so much of yourself that it scared you.
Now that⊠that was hard to answerâŠÂ You honestly didnât think youâd be able to remember. You got practically everything delivered, you worked from homeâŠÂ
Shaking your thoughts away, you shot her a look. âIâm fine right where I am.â
âYour doctor called and said you havenât been taking your medication.â
âFuckinâ snitch,â you scoffed, rolling your eyes as you turned back to the window, staring down at the now cold coffee.
Josephine rolled her eyes. âHe said you havenât picked up your refill in over two months.â She came over to stand next to you, staring out the window with you for a long time. âMama, youâve gotta take your medicineâŠÂ You remember what happened last timeâŠâ
Ah, yes, the infamous incident.
Which was an incident in a long line of incidents.
There had been a⊠few times when youâd stopped taking your medicationâeither intentionally or simply because you had forgottenâand it had resulted in a stay in the psych ward at the local hospital. It had happened far too many times for your daughter to not be in contact with your doctor so she would be informed if you had stopped getting your refills.
You didnât blame her, of course. But it did make you feel like a horrible mother. One who couldnât even take care of herself to the point where your daughter had to.
âYes, I remember last time,â you sighed, staring at a cardinal. âYou know, my mama used to tell me that if you see a cardinal, a loved one whoâs passed is visiting youâŠâ
âMama, I signed you up for a seniorsâ social club.â
You blinked.
And then, you blinked again.
You turned to look at your daughter, disbelief written all over your face. âNo the fuck you did not. I swear to all that is holy, Josephine Ann, if you signed me up for one of those⊠those⊠pre-death support groups, Iâll tan your hide!â You gasped as some of your coffee splashed onto your sweatshirt. âI brought you into this world, and I sure as hell can take you out of it!â
âYouâve been saying that since I was two,â She said, taking your arm and guiding you to sit down at the kitchen table. âAnd itâs not a pre-death support group. I feel like thatâs offensive somewhere so make sure you donât go running around the group saying that.â Josephine used a paper napkin to dab at the coffee on your sweatshirt, muttering about throwing it into the wash and getting you a new one.
This was what you meant by your daughter taking care of you.
âJosie, really, I can get my own sweatshirt.â
âDoesnât mean you gotta,â she said as she came back with a new one, helping you change.
Sometimes you felt like she thought you were a hundred years old.
âHonestly, mamaâŠÂ I just want you to be happyâŠÂ You should have friends. You shouldnât be cooped up in this house all day, all the time.â
âWhat do I need friends for when Iâve got you? And Danny?â You asked.
But you had been hit with the sudden reality that except for Josephine and her girlfriend, you were alone. Completely, and utterly, alone. Hell, they were the only people you had ever invited over to the tiny one bedroom you owned.
Repairmen didnât count because they were there to do a job, not keep you company.
God, you had wanted more than this, once upon a time. You had once had dreams, of maybe being a writer and making the New York Timesâ Bestsellers List, of a husband who adored you and brought you flowers every Friday, of lazy Sundays eating waffles on the couch with the love of your life.
But life didnât end up the way you had dreamed it. There were no book signings or meetings with editors⊠there were no gardenias⊠and there was no smell of waffles and syrup.
And youâd made your peace with that.
Sort of.
Josephineâs arms wrapped around you as she rested her head against yours. Like a mirror of yourself, she was, from her face down to her toes.
Thank god. She didnât deserve to have to look in the mirror and see reflections of her father.
âWill you at least try it?â She asked gently, her hand running up and down your arm, her freshly manicured nails tickling your skin. âItâs not like a pre-death support group, as you call itâŠÂ Itâs for seniors or people who are approaching seniority and are still active and want to go out and have fun, but maybe need some friends to do it with. Please?â
And how could you say no when she wanted something so badly?
âAlright,â you said after a moment. âIâll go once. And if itâs horrible, Iâm not going back. And Iâm gonna tell Danny how you forced me to meet a bunch of strangers.â
She squealed excitedly, running off to your bedroom and going through your closet. âOkay, the first thing the group is doing is having a first meeting at a bar, and weâre gonna get you all done up.â
Oh, good. She was going all in.
âWhenâs the first meeting?â You asked as you sat on the bed, leaning back on your hands as you watched her.
âTonight.â
Uh. What?
âTONIGHT?!â You shouted in shock as you jumped up. âWhat?! You didnât think to ask me about this a few days ago?!â
She snorted, picking out a few tops that you hadnât worn in what felt like decades. âI signed you up this morning, I didnât know about it a few days ago.â
You watched in exasperation as she threw article after article of clothing onto the bed for you to try on. âI donât think I need to wear four pairs of jeans to a bar,â you said, beginning to pick up a few of the pieces.
Josephine gave you a look as she continued. âConsidering how long itâs been since youâve been out, I think itâs fair that some of these might not fit anymore.â
Well, you had lost some weightâŠÂ Not necessarily in a healthy way, but she was right.
In the end, she ended up shoving you into the bathroom and forced you to do a full showerâwhich meant body and hair.
You hadnât even gone to such lengths when you were going on your first date with her father.
She spent hours on your hair and makeup, chattering away excitedly about the vacation her and Danny were planning. A South American cruise.
Josephine had never married, never had kids. Never wanted to after seeing what her daddy had put you through. It left a sour taste in her mouth, and even though it was legal now, her and her girlfriend hadnât breathed a word of a wedding.
Though, you suppose they had a common law marriage at that point, if lesbians were included in it.
âPerfect,â she said as she got you to slip on an old jacket of yours that was a little too big. âCome on. Iâll drive you and pick you up.â
âOh, honestly,â you snorted as you grabbed the purse Josephine had shoved all your things into. âYouâd think I could take an Uber.â
The bar wasnât what you had expected when she had first told you thatâs where the meeting was going to be held. The last bars youâd been to had practically been nightclubs.
But this was⊠upscale. Sophisticated.
Now you understood just why she had put so much work into making you look presentable.
It didnât look like anyone else was there yet, even though most of the patrons were around your age, so you took a seat at the bar, the groupâs site pulled up on your phone.
âWhat can I get for you, miss?â The bartender asked as he set down a coaster in front of you.
A snort erupts from your throat as you look at him. âYou always call women as old as me miss?â
âOh, come on, youâre a catch,â he said, shooting you a playful wink. âMy dadâs single, you know. If you were⊠looking.â
âThank you, but Iâm not,â you said gently, your cheeks flushed. âCan I get a Manhattan?â
The bartender nodded, gracefully backing off the subject of you possibly dating his father. And barely a minute and a half later, thereâs a perfectly made Manhattan set on your coaster.
Youâd barely taken a sip before someone came up beside you. âDo you have Macallanâs 18 Year Sherry Oak?â A man asked. At the bartenders confirmation, he hummed. âCan I get a double on the rocks?â
The bartender dropped a large ball of ice into a glass before pouring two shots of whiskey over it and handing it to the man.
âMacallanâs, huh?â You said softly, your heart pounding. Josephine had told you to make friends. That was the whole point of this, even if the man wasnât part of the social club youâd been forced into. âYou know your whiskeys.â
The tall man took a seat beside you, his eyes boring into the side of your face. You hadnât dared look at him yet. âIâve always preferred those who choose a Manhattan over a martini any day.â
âAnd why is that?â You asked, finally looking up at him.
And oh, you wished you hadnât. He was⊠stunning. The very definition of male beauty. His salt and pepper hair reminded you of the photos of the men in the fortiesâŠÂ The 1940s, that is. Blue eyes so striking that you lost your breath, and broad shoulders that you knew would haunt your dreams. He was wearing a glove on his left hand for some reason, but you didnât linger on it too long.
But at least he was at least your age, if not a little older. Youâd die if youâd just sort of flirted with a twenty-something asshole who just bought expensive whiskeys for the sake of buying expensive whiskeys to show that he had money to blow.
âMartini drinkers think theyâll get some kind of award for their choice of drink,â he said, âas though choosing a drink that generally tastes like shit is some kind of accomplishment. Unless youâre just taking a shot, a drink should taste good.â He looked you up and down, letting his pretty blues linger on your lips. There were faint crow feet at the corners of his eyes, but they just seemed to make him even more handsome. âAnd a Manhattan doesnât need a fancy whiskey. It is steady and sure even with the cheapest five dollar bottle you can get from a gas station. Someone whose drink of choice is a Manhattan is sure of who they are and what they want.â
You hadnât felt this hot under a manâs gaze in decades. âReally?â Swallowing around the lump in your throat, you took another sip of your drink to buy you a moment.
âMmmâŠâ He stole one of the two cherries from your drink, biting it off the stem. You were transfixed as he slipped the stem into his mouth, sticking his tongue out about thirty seconds later with a perfect cherry stem knot on display. âReally. Iâm James. Whatâs your name?â
Butterflies filled your stomach as you gave him your name. God, you felt like you were sixteen again and being flirted with for the first time.
His eyes flicked down to your open phone that rested on the bar, the social clubâs page still up. âYouâre here for the meeting, too?â
âUmâŠÂ Yes,â you said, ducking your head.
âBut, dollâŠâ He leaned towards you, a charming smile on his lips. âYou donât look a day over thirty-five. Are you sure youâre a senior?â
Blinking, your mouth hung open in a soft o. âAre you planning on flirting with every woman in the club like this?â
James looked around dramatically, his gloved hand resting over his heart. âA club?! Is that what you call this place?â He asked, mockingly serious. âDamn, what does that make all those dirty, gross places these young kids go to now? Brothels?â
For some reason, you felt comfortable enough to shove his shoulder, surprised a little at the feeling of metal under his jacket sleeve.
For the first time, he looked a bit⊠uncomfortable. He had flinched a bit, his bright eyes focused surely on his drink. âUmâŠâ
âYouâre the Winter Soldier. James Barnes,â you said curiously, your head tilting to the side as you looked at him. âI thought I recognized you from somewhere.â
âIs that a bad thing?â
âNo.â
âYou sure?â
âMmhm,â you drawled, taking the cherry left in your drink and biting it off in a way that you hoped was alluring. âThough, I gotta say, it is a bit awkward to meet the man I wrote two papers about in high school.â
Shit, his laugh was beautiful. Everything about him was beautiful. Like Apollo or something...
Jamesâs head was thrown back in laughter. His cheeks were flushed, his eyes squeezed shut. âDid you actually write two papers about me?â He asked as he tried to catch his breath. At your nod, he smirked, leaning in close again. âWhat did you write about? How devilishly handsome I am?â
You couldnât believe you were saying this. âI mean, I can show you the papers and actually let you read them, but theyâre at my place.â
Before he could pick his jaw up off the ground, there were other seniors in the group coming up to greet you. Your throat was dry as the Sahara as you turned to face them, plastering on a smile as you tried to ignore the heated gaze on your face and the way he licked his lips.
The meeting was⊠long. Boring.
Or at least, thatâs how it felt when you had Jamesâs dark, sultry eyes on you the entire goddamn time.
Mind fuzzy, you vaguely remembered agreeing to come to the next meeting, and even signing up for a hiking trip they were taking the next weekend.
As you headed outside, you felt Buckyâs hand slip into yours, his long, calloused fingers intertwining with yours. âSoâŠÂ Am I gonna get to come over and⊠read those papers?â He murmured, his lips brushing against your ear.
God, you could practically feel yourself bursting into flames. You werenât gonna survive.
Thank god your daughter had forced you into a full shower.
But what about how dirty your house was sure to be?
âUmâŠÂ Y-Yeah,â you said as you turned to look at him. âBut, my daughter is gonna be driving me homeâŠÂ I donât want her to know Iâve got someone coming over. Sheâs nosey. RealâŠÂ Real nosey.â
âOf course, darlin,ââ he chuckled. âHere, why donât I give you my phone number, and you shoot me a text with your address when youâre ready for me to come over?â
Your head was swirling as you got into your daughterâs car, your phone burning a hole in your purse.
âHow was it?â Josephine asked nervously once you got about halfway home. She couldnât tell from the look on your face. âDid you like it?â
âHm? Yeah.â Swallowing, you shot a text to James with your name, telling him youâd text him when it was all clear.
âAre you gonna go again?â
âYeah.â
âReally?â
âYeah.â
She seemed both dissatisfied and pleased by your vague answers. At least you were getting out of the house.
Once you got home and said goodbye, it was a mad dash to ensure that your house was clean as could be. Josie had put in some work while youâd been gone, it seemed. Sheâd done the dishes and the laundry, as well as dusted.
Thank fuck.
You struggled for a solid twenty minutes to put fresh sheets and pillowcases on the bed, lighting two candles and placing them in a manner that you hoped seemed natural.
âShit,â you cursed as you smelled under your arms.
Okay, quick body shower. It seemed all that flirting had made you a tiny bit sweaty.
You turned the water to scalding and scrubbed your body down, exfoliating and using your best scented body wash.
And to be quite frank, youâd never shaved your lady bits as quick as that.
As you texted him your address and that it was safe to come over, you pulled on your clothing from the bar (though, you did put on nicer, matching lingerie underneath.)Â By the time heâd gotten there, youâd downed two shots of tequila for a bit of liquid courage and had poured yourself a glass of wine.
âHey, baby doll,â he said, a crooked grin on his face as you welcomed him inside. His glove had been abandoned, and black metal fingers lined with gold glittered in the light. âWoahâŠÂ You know, I wasnât sure how your place was gonna look, but this is very⊠you.â
âOh, really?â You asked as you offered him a glass of wine, which he gratefully took. âHow so?â
âI donât know,â he chuckled as he swirled the deep red liquid in its glass. âItâs cozy. Sweet.â
Your throat was dry as you watched his adamâs apple bob as he took a drink. âUm⊠so those papersâŠâ
Bucky whispered your name, moving closer to you as he set the wine glass down on the counter. âBaby girl, Iâm not really here for the papers, am I?â He asked as your back hit the island. âIf I amâŠÂ If I am, then just tell me, and Iâll stop this.â His slightly chapped lips ghosted against yours like the tease he was. âAm I here just for the papers?â
âNo,â you breathed out, before pressing your lips against his in a firm kiss at last. His breath was minty and cool, with just a touch of the wine youâd been sharing, like heâd brushed his teeth before coming over just like you had.
Could it be possible he was just as nervous as you were?
But he was perfect? Why the hell would he be nervous?
Your thoughts were cut short as he reached down, his hands firmly grabbing your ass as he lifted you up and set you on the counter. âThatâs a good girl,â he growled as he kissed down your neck, his hands working at your blouse. âCouldnât stop thinking about you during that whole stupid fucking meeting. Just wanted to kiss you. Just wanted to⊠to touch you.â He pulled back, kissing you fiercely as his hands moved from your blouse to hold your face again. âYou gonna let me touch you, angel?â
A whine escaped your throat as you nodded, desperately yanking at his shirt. Once it was off, you didnât hesitate to run your hands over the broad planes of his chest. He wasnât quite as toned as you remembered from when you were younger, when you used to (occasionally) stalk (lightly) his social media accounts. Thereâd been so many pictures of him on vacation with the other Avengers⊠all tanned and tonedâŠ
But you liked this better. There was a softness to him now, a gentleness.
You were so distracted by his physique that you didnât notice heâd gotten your shirt and bra off until the cold air hit your chest. âFuck,â you mumbled as his lips found your neck, trailing down to your breasts.
You couldnât remember the last time youâd been kissed, let alone the last time youâd had such⊠attention.
Especially when his hands worked your pants off and he stood between your legs, moaning as his fingers tickled your thighs. âYouâre so beautiful,â he said as his lips wrapped around one nipple, suckling at it and teasing until it was diamond hard, and he moved on to the other.
Gotta be fair, after all.
âJamesâŠâ
âFuck, baby girlâŠÂ Never been with a woman as beautiful as you,â he growled, kissing down your tummy. âYouâre not making it out of here without orgasming at least twice,â he warned jokingly. He was half bent over in front of the island, watching in wonder as he slowly pulled your silk panties down your legs and revealed your aching core to him.
âI-If youâre not comfortable standing like that, w-we can move somewhere else,â you stammered, suddenly growing self conscious. What if he thought your pussy was weird? Granted, youâd overcome thinking that when you were in your early twenties, after learning that each one looked different.
But he was born in the forties.
But that meant heâd probably seen an exponential amount of pussies!
Oh, god, there was no way youâd have anywhere near as much experience as him. The only person youâd ever been with was your ex husband, and he wasnât exactly the paradigm of lovers.
âHey.â
You refocused with a shake of your head, your eyes meeting Jamesâs. âYes?â
âYouâre in your head,â he said softly, his forehead resting against yours as he slowly ran his fingers along your sensitive folds. âThereâs no needâŠÂ Itâs just you and me, okay? And youâre absolutely perfect.â
Your heart was melting inside your chest as you nodded, stealing a tentative kiss. âOkayâŠÂ Just you and me.â
James nipped at your lower lip as he lifted you up, wrapping your legs around his waist. âCome on. I donât want our first time to be on a kitchen counter. Though I make no promises I wonât help christen every inch of this house after,â he said with a playful growl.
You whispered directions to your bedroom as he held you tight to his chest, his lips finding purchase on your neck. âAnd here I thought you said the super soldier serum was wearing off,â you joked.
The man snorted as he pushed you up against the hallway wall. âTrust me, doll, no lack of super soldier serum is gonna stop me from fucking you right,â he said, his voice husky and deep.
Before you could even open your mouth to reply, two thick fingers were slipping inside of you to slowly tease your cunt, his lips ghosting over yours. âDoes that feel good, sweetheart?â
You couldnât find it in you to be embarrassed at the whimper that fell from your lips. âY-Yes. Yes. Please, I need more, JamesâŠâ
James smiled into the kisses heâd been giving you. âIâll give you everything you want.â
âThatâs a tall order.â You threaded your fingers through his hair, shivering at the way his metal fingers dug into the plumpness of your ass. âYou sure you can fill it?â
He doesnât respond with words, growling as he kisses you fiercely, carrying you to the bedroom. You donât have time to think before heâs crawling over you and kissing up your tummy to your lips. âI need to be inside you,â He whispered as he stroked his length.
âPleaseâŠÂ Donât wanna wait anymore,â you said. Vaguely, youâre aware of the twinge in your knees from all the physical activity, and you knew youâd be sore as hell in the morning.
Fucking worth it, though.
James didnât hesitate to line himself up, the head of his cock pressing against your entrance. When he finally pushed in, unison moans fill the air.
âIâŠÂ I havenât done this in⊠so long,â you finally admitted as he slowly pushed in more, taking his time. Eyes locked, your mouth fell open in a soft âoâ as he bottomed out, his hips meeting yours. âOh, fuckâŠâ
âThen I better do a real good job fucking you right.â
You werenât quite sure how long you two lasted, but you do know he manages to pull three orgasms out of you in the space of just a few hours. Thereâs snack and water breaks in between rounds, his cool metal hand running up and down your spine to cool you down as you two whisper in the dim light of your desk lamp.
You canât remember a time that youâd felt so at peace.
A spark had been lit inside your chest as you two laid there in bed, legs intertwined. Both of you were quiet, his fingers moving to caress your cheek.
There were no words that needed to be said.
His sea blue eyes are sparkling in the dim light, and your hand runs over the sharp stubble that lines his jaw. It had certainly marked up your neck.
âI had intended on asking you on a date,â he said quietly as his hand found yours, bringing it to his mouth. Chapped lips kissed each of your knuckles like you were something precious, something to behold. âI didnât think the five minutes or so before the meeting countedâŠÂ But Iâd still like to take you on that date, if youâll let me.â
âThat sounds nice,â you said, a grin twinging at the corners of your lips.
âYeah?â He asked, sitting up a bit as his fingers brushed against your forehead.
âYeah.â A giggle escaped your lips as he playfully tackled you, starting yet another round as his hips rolled down against yours.
The next morning, you woke up alone. The sheets beside you were mussed, though the space James had been occupying was still a bit warm.
Jazz music floated down the hall, through the cracked door, and you could vaguely hear the clinking of pans.
It took you a minute to gather the will to get yourself out of bed and find your robe, but you finally did it. As your feet hit the ground and you pushed yourself to a stand, you winced.
You had been right about feeling it in your knees.
You forced yourself to walk smoothly down the hall, despite how much it hurt. Embarrassing yourself in front of James was the last fucking thing you wanted to do.
He was in the kitchen, standing in front of the stove and humming along with the old jazz song playing on the Bluetooth speaker. He had a pan full of pancake batter in front of him, a whole stack heâd already made on the side.
Standing in the doorway, you couldnât help but grin as you watched him. Heâs so handsome⊠and he seemed so at home in your kitchen. In your home.
Maybe heâd like to move inâŠ
You shook your head, knowing that itâs already too much.
But the thought was nice.
Him in his pajamas, making coffeeâŠÂ Him in your showerâŠÂ Him in your bed every nightâŠÂ Â
Yeah. Itâs a really, really nice thought.
âHi.â
James jumped, his eyes wide as he whirled round to face you. âHi. I thought I had another thirty minutes before I had to go and wake you up,â he said. âIâm making pancakes. For you. For us.â His cheeks flushed, turning a bright red as he turned back to the pan to quickly flip the pancake. âI hope you donât mind that I used your flour and shitâŠâ
âOh, no, IâŠÂ I almost never cook,â you admitted as you moved over to stand next to him, watching as he made two more pancakes.
As he carried the huge plate to the kitchen island, he teasingly grabbed your ass and squeezed. âMaybe Iâll have to stay the night more often, if only so you get a homemade breakfast.â
It was sweet, and domestic, and somewhat terrifying.
You hadnât had a man do anything for you like this since you were in your twenties, when your husband was still sweet and loving.
But even so, this was somehow better than anytime your husband made his famous burritos.
Maybe because Jamesâs cooking actually tasted good.
Your first date was to a movie, a drive in. Something thatâs designed to be vintage but really just looked cheesy as all hell.
But itâs perfect. Perfect and cheesy and romantic.
Your only complaint was that he didnât kiss you at the door when he dropped you off. He pressed his lips to your cheek and whispered a goodnight, and that was it.
It took two more dates within the same week for him to kiss you again.
Bright and early on the next Saturday morning, he knocked on your door, holding a bouquet of flowers.
âI figured I should make up for you having to be up so early with this,â he said as he came inside, kissing you quick before moving to put the flowers in a vase.
At this point, he knew your house almost as well as you did. It felt good, when you two moved around like you were part of a team.
âHave you gotten your coffee this morning?â You asked, already pouring two travel mugs full of the good stuff.
He came up behind you, kissing your shoulder. âI have, but you know Iâll never say no to more, doll.â
The rest of the group eyed you curiously as you got out of the same car, a few elbow nudges and whispers in the air.
âAt least I know no old ass dickheads are gonna come hit on my girlfriend,â James growled in your ear, his calloused flesh hand squeezing your hip.
âJamieâŠ,â you whined, cheeks flushed in embarrassment. No one had ever claimed you in such a way that made you feel so desired and⊠and worthy.
James made you feel worthy.
Which is something youâd only ever really gotten from your daughter.
It sent a bolt of arousal through you, and you were tempted to drag him back to the car so you could bring him right back home and do something about it.
AlsoâŠÂ Girlfriend? Were you his girlfriend now? Officially?
That just made you wanna find somewhere to fuck him even more.
But alas, you pushed the thought away as the lot of you boarded one of those white airport vans that took you out of the city to the closest state park.
âItâs beautiful,â you breathed out as you stared out the window, forehead pressed to the cool glass. The morning air was a bit chillier than it had been lately, signaling the coming onslaught of winter.
Maybe Bucky would wanna make hot cocoa together⊠go sleddingâŠÂ Would him, Josephine, and Danny would all come over for Christmas and New Years andâ
Would he even want to meet Josephine?
Would Josie wanna meet him?
She had no idea that youâd found aâA boyfriend?
âNot as beautiful as you,â Bucky murmured against the shell of your ear as his vibranium fingers intertwined with yours and squeezed. His stubble tickled your neck as he rested his head on your shoulder, watching the passing scenery with you. âIâm really glad I met you, dollâŠâ
âMe, too,â you said, grinning as you squeezed his hand back and leaned your head against his.
It was strange, falling so hard for someone so quick after everything youâd been through.
But you had a gut feeling. One that you had never had with your ex husband.
James was a good one. A really, really good one.
That reminded you.
When were you meant to tell him about all the shit youâd been through?
Despite the amount of time you had spent together already, you hadnât found the courage for it.
Soon, you decided.
But first, you had to get through the damn hike.
Bucky was glued to your side the entire time, even though you were a lot worse at hiking than he was. He would hold your hand, guiding you anytime there was a fallen tree or a creek. His blue eyes were soft as he murmured encouragement, quietly praising your every move.
It was intoxicating.
So when you two fell behind from the group, watching them go around a curve and down a hill, you dragged James behind a large rock formation.
âBaby doll? Darling, what the hell are you doing?â He laughed as you pressed a fierce kiss to his lips.
âCanât a girl be spontaneous?â You teased as you dropped to your knees, ignoring the way a twig was poking into your left knee. âNeed to taste you.â
His eyes locked on you as you worked at his jeans, getting them down and off, his nails scratching at your scalp as he got a good grip on your head. âFuckâŠÂ Are you really this needy for me, angel? Fuck, youâre so god damn gorgeousâŠÂ Look at you.â
Your heart pounded against your rib cage as you finally freed his length, a grin on your lips as you wrapped your hand around him and slowly stroked him.
Buckyâs eyes rolled back as your mouth wrapped around the head of his cock. âFucking shitâŠÂ Good girlâŠÂ Suck me off real good, baby.â
The group probably would notice your absence, not that you particularly cared.
Not when you had your man so weak for you. And all youâd had to do was get on your knees.
His metal and flesh hands guided you to take more of him in, going at a slow pace so as not to hurt you. He was so big there was no way youâd get all of him down your throat but what you couldnât take in your mouth, you pleasured with your hands.
Pleasuring your partner like this was addicting. Youâd never felt the desireâno, the incessant needâto please your ex husband. All you could think about was getting Bucky off, making him feel so good that he couldnât see or walk straight.
You choked around him as you took him as deep as possible, your eyes glassy. When you popped off, you stroked him as you moved down to carefully suck at his balls, fighting a grin as he gasped, his hips stuttering. Before he could orgasm, you took him back in your mouth, wanting to swallow him down.
âFuck, fuckâ Oh, shitâŠÂ Babyâ Iâm gonnaâŠÂ Iâm gonnaââ Bucky broke off with a shout as he came, spilling down your throat. His large hands stroked your cheeks as you swallowed all of it, barring the little bit that had gotten on your lower lip. âYou did so good, darling,â he cooed as he helped you stand, pressing you against the rock behind him as he kissed you. âAre you okay? I didnât hurt you, right?â
âNo, you didnât,â you said, a faint smile on your lips as you helped him put himself back away. âYou were perfect, JamesâŠâ
When you finally caught up to the group, a few of the others shot you knowing looks.
But Bucky just had a satisfied smirk on his lips, his hand tightly intertwined with yours even as you flushed in embarrassment.
âOnce we get home, itâs your turn,â he whispered in your ear as you all headed back for the van.
Your relationship with James was⊠wonderful.
It was easy in a way youâd never had before.
Within just two months, he was living at your house almost full time, to the point where youâd been thinking about asking him to move in.
It was like you two were magnets. Even when you both had work to do, you did it in the same room, slowly gravitating towards each other until you were sitting close, your foot running up his calf.
And heâd gotten you to start writing.
âItâs your dream, doll. Youâre never too old to chase your dreams,â he said one night as you two laid in bed. His metal fingers were tracing shapes on your spine, a chill from the cracked window ruffling his sweaty hair. âIf you donât mind me askingâŠÂ Why did you stop in the first place?â
Ah.
The conversation youâd been avoiding for so long.
Sitting up, you pressed your hands to your face as you tried to find the words to say. âUmâŠÂ I was married beforeâŠÂ I know you know, but, uhâŠâ Your fingers fiddled together nervously. You swallowed around the lump in your throat. âMy husbandâŠÂ He wasnâtâŠÂ He wasnât nice. At all.â
Bucky immediately sat up behind you, his vibranium hand resting flat on your back to reassure you that he was there, and to give you something to focus on while you spoke. He didnât need to speak for you to know. He was there and he wasnât running.
âI married him young⊠and I had Josephine youngâŠÂ Heâd always been so⊠possessive, but I just considered it protective,â you continued, pulling strength from his touch to keep on going. You needed to tell him this. You needed him to understand. âThen after Josie was born, he started getting violent. Heâd always been mean, but heâd never hit me until after I gave birthâŠâ
James was tense behind you, slowly scooting over so he could wrap his arms around you, his legs resting on either side of yours as he held you. He needed you close. Needed to know you were safe in his arms and that man was long gone.
âPut me in the hospital a few timesâŠÂ He at least didnât do it in front of Josie. Thatâs the one thing I asked of him that he listened to.â You couldnât help but snort as you slowly relaxed back against him. âShe always thought all the bruises and shit was just a side effect of how clumsy I amâŠÂ But she came home one day during college, to surprise usâŠÂ She walked in on him holding a frying pan above his head, about to swing again. She jumped in between us and told him if he ever touched me again, sheâd kill him.â You let out a breath you hadnât realized youâd been holding as his lips pressed to your bare shoulder. It was soothing, feeling his skin against yours. âShe moved me out of that house and into her apartment, helped me get the divorce, get back on my feetâŠâ
âRemind me to tell Josephine thank you,â he said quietly as he squeezed you close. âThank you for telling me, dollâŠÂ IâŠÂ I canât imagine how hard that wasâŠÂ But heâll never touch you again. No one will ever touch you again if you donât want it.â
âI know.â
He nuzzled into your hair, breathing in the scent of your shampoo. âI love you. So muchâŠâ
A peace settled over you as you rested your head back against his, allowing yourself to truly fall into him, to relax. âAnd I love youâŠâ
After that night, Bucky slept over at your place five to six nights a week, only going home to get more clothes and do his laundry really, even though youâd told him a million times he could do it at your place.
âWake up, sweetheart,â he murmured in your ear one morning, pushing your hair away from your face. âTime to get upâŠÂ Iâve got breakfast ready for youâŠâ
Groaning, you tried to pull him down for more cuddle time, but he wasnât having it. He always woke up before you, too many years a soldier coming into play. Heâd go for a run and make breakfast before waking you up.
âCome on, doll,â he chuckled, pressing a quick kiss to your lips as he got you to sit up, your vision blurry from sleep still. âMedicine,â he said, pressing your pills into your palm and putting a glass of water in your other.Â
Ever since heâd found out about your prescriptions and how you had a hard time remembering to take them, heâd taken it upon himself to make sure you did, every morning and night without fail.
âWhatâd you make this morning?â You asked sleepily after swallowing your pills, letting him pull you to your feet. His t-shirt clung to you as you followed him down the hall. Your hand was tucked into his as you rounded the corner to the kitchen.
What neither of you had heard was the sound of the front door opening.
âMama?! What the hell?!â Josephine demanded, standing in the kitchen with Danny right behind her. âWho the fuck is this?! What is he doing here?!â
Oh.
Yeah.
Youâd neglected to tell your daughter, afraid of how she might take it.
âHello. Iâm James. Or Bucky,â your boyfriend said as he held out his hand to you, clearly unashamed and standing his ground even though he was only wearing a pair of pajama pants.
âWhat the fuck are you doing here?!â Your daughter repeated angrily, ignoring his hand.
âJosie,â Danny began, trying to soothe her.
But your daughter was nothing but determined when she was in her protective mode.
Before you could open your mouth, Bucky supplied, âIâm her boyfriend.â
You felt a flush coming over you as she stared at the two of you, slack-jawed. âHe is,â you said, wrapping both of your arms around his metal one. You were so nervous, you were shaking.
âWhen did this happen?!â She demanded, beginning to pace back and forth around the kitchen.
âUmâŠÂ The first meeting at the bar⊠for the club,â you said. Seeing her so upset made your anxiety spike, and you knew James could feel it, could hear the way your heart rate increased exponentially.
Josephine whirled on you, her eyesâso much like yoursâwide with disbelief. No. Betrayal. âYouâve been seeing someone for almost three months and you didnât tell me?â
âIâŠâ Tears pricked your eyes as you tightened your grip on Buckyâs arm. This was not the way you wanted them meeting to go. âI was scared⊠of how youâd reactâŠâ
At that moment, Bucky turned to meet your eyes, his forehead almost pressing against yours. âDarling, I feel like this is a conversation you two should have alone, yeah? So Iâm gonna takeâDanny, right? YeahâDanny to the living room with some coffee so we can get to know each other, okay?â
After a nod, and a squeeze of his hand, he got two mugs of coffee and led your daughterâs girlfriend to the living room. You could see them sitting down from the corner of your eyes, but you were much too focused on Josephine.
âMama, Iââ
âI love him,â you said, before she could say anything more.
Her eyes were shining, locked on you as she waited for you to speak. In her gut, she knew this was something you needed to get out.
âI love him more than Iâve ever loved a man. More than I loved your father,â you whispered, your voice cracking. âAnd I knowâŠÂ I know youâre as protective as you are because you saw how he treated me. You saw how much I hid that he was hurting you, but Jamie isnât like that.â Your fingers fiddled as you tried to keep yourself from pacing. âHeâs kind and adoring and gentle andâŠÂ and he loves me. More than I thought anyone could ever love me. And I know you feel like you need to take care of me and I am so grateful. And I still need you. Everyday. But BuckyâŠÂ I love him. I love him and he loves me and we take care of each other.â
Josephine reached out, slowly taking your hands in hers. âHeâŠÂ He makes you happy? He takes care of you and youâre safe?â She asked, voice trembling as a few tears rolled down her cheeks.
âYeah. He takes real good care of me,â you insisted with a weak laugh. âAnd Iâve never been so happy before, honey. I promise.â
âOkayâŠ,â she said, taking a deep breath. âIâm still giving him the shovel talk.â
Bucky looked up as Josephine entered the living room, looking much calmer. He wasnât sure what youâd said, but it had seemed to placate her for the time being.
âCan we talk outside?â She asked him, keeping her chin high.
God, she looked so much like you.
He nodded stiffly, getting to his feet and leaving his mug behind as he followed her to the front door and out onto the porch. The former super soldier watched as she paced back and forth, biting her thumb. âIâve heard a lot about you,â he said finally, breaking the silence.
Josie stopped in her tracks, listening quietly.
âYour mama loves you something fierce.â Nervously rubbing his hands on his pajama pants, he couldnât remember the last time heâd been so nervous meeting a girlâs family.
Though, he supposed it was a bit different when it was meeting your girlfriendâs daughter.
âAnd I love her.â
Your daughter, your mini me, stared him directly in the eyes. âIâm sure sheâs told you about my father. What he did.â
âShe did.â
âSo you know that if you put one fucking foot out of line, Iâll filet you?â
âI do.â
She eyed him for a long moment. âWhat are you in this for? Whatâs the long term?â She asked. âIâve heard of elders just⊠settling for someone because they donât wanna be alone in their twilight years. Is that what this is?â
Bucky tried really hard not to feel a little bit offended. He wasnât that old. âIâve been alive since 1917,â he said slowly. âI have no doubt you know who I am. But Iâve been alive a hundred and something years, and Iâve never met someone who makes me feel the way your mom does.â His heart clenched inside his chest as he thought of you, seeing your shy smile in the mornings, how you clung to him when you went out in public, the sound of your voice as you read an excerpt of your writing to him, so nervous about what he would think. âAnd IâŠÂ I can say that everything Iâve been throughâŠÂ Everything Iâve ever been through was worth it, because I got to meet her. And I get to be hers for the years I have left.â
She looked absolutely speechless. âGood,â she said, coughing to clear her throat. âGood. I justâŠÂ I canât see her get hurt again. Not after everything.â
âTrust me, I donât plan to,â he said, his mouth dry. âIâŠÂ I actually have something to ask you aboutâŠÂ Been waiting to meet you to talk to you about itâŠâ
Inside, you paced the kitchen and living room, going back and forth and back and forth, sometimes moving to the window to try to hear what they were saying. But they were keeping it all very hushed.
âItâs gonna be fine, mama,â Danny said, standing up and moving to wrap her arms around you. âJosieâll see how much you two love each other, and itâll be fine. Sheâs just gotta have her protective moment. You know how she is.â
Sniffling, you hugged her tightly. âI shouldnât have kept it from her for so longâŠÂ I was just so nervousâŠÂ They bothâŠÂ They both mean the world to me.â You paused, snorting. âI knew youâd approve of him. I wasnât so worried about you.â
âOh, please, the way that man looked at you?â She said, laughing as she kissed your forehead. âMama, thereâs no way in hell that man would ever hurt you. He looks at you like youâre his entire universe.â
Heart warm, you glanced towards the front door, wishing theyâd just come inside already. âIâve never felt something like thisâŠÂ But fuck, if the whole shit show thatâs my life wasnât worth it for himâŠÂ I wouldnât change a thing, as long as it means I get to end up with him.â
You broke out of her grasp as the front door opened and they came back inside, looking relaxed and even⊠happy? âWell? You arenât gonna kill him?â You asked Josie as you moved to James, heart racing.
âNahâŠ,â she said, giving him what seemed like a secretive smile. âAs far as dads goâŠÂ Heâd be pretty nice to have.â
âWhat?â You said, brows furrowing as you looked between the two of them.
Bucky chuckled, winking at Josephine as he led you to the stove where breakfast was still waiting, making you waddle as his arms wrapped around you from behind. âDonât worry your pretty head about it, baby doll. Itâs all good.â
You still couldnât help but feel like the two were planning something as he made your plate for you, cutting up your pancakes and filling up your coffee. âWhy do I feel like you two are gonna end up ganging up on me?â
âOh, come on, mama,â Josephine said with a smirk on her face. Her and Danny had made their own plates and joined you and Bucky in the living room. âHow could you ever accuse us of such a thing?â
âYeah,â James said as he fed you a bite of pancake. âHow could you ever accuse us of such a thing?â He asked, before leaning in and stealing a kiss. âI love you.â
Youâd never felt more relaxed, surrounded by the people you loved the most in the world. What youâd said to Josephine had been true.
âI love you more,â you said, leaning back in for another kiss.
Youâd never been so happy.

Ex BF - Part 2
Drew Starkey x Reader
Part 1
You guys, I changed my mind, this one just works so much better as a Drew Starkey fic ...so fuck it, Iâm just gonna post what I had on my deactivated blog.Â
It had been months since you ran into Josh on set at Drewâs work. Luckily, Drew was only in a couple scenes for that project and he only worked on that show one more day without running into Josh. Now, you, Drew and a lot of the Outer Banks crew were all in LA again and going out to a bar.
Unfortunately for you, and everyone that night, Josh and his friends were at the same bar.
âOh hey, itâs y/n and her movie star boyfriend, Andrew.â Josh said as he appeared next to you and drunkenly leaned an arm on your shoulder. If looks could kill, the look on Drewâs face would have for sure been the death of Josh. It was a mixture of shock and rage at the audacity of this guy. Drew was so taken aback, he didnât know how to react.
You uncomfortably chuckled and squirmed out from under Joshâs arm to stand in front of Drew quickly, not knowing if Drewâs truly calm nature could be tested any further. âMhmm, great to see you Josh.â You stated dismissively.
Your effort to separate them was lost as Drew instantly and easily maneuvered you behind him protectively. You turned for the bar as quickly as possible, hoping to end the situation there, so you grabbed Drewâs hand to pull him along with you.
âAww, y/n/n, youâre not gonna stay and let me get to know your little boyfriend?â
You felt dead weight behind you as you tried to pull Drew away.Â
âBro, Iâm telling you right now, back the fuck off.â Drew stated. You whirled around to get in front of him, as Josh took a step forward and titled his chin up, âOr what?â
You put your hands on Drewâs chest. He easily looked over your head to continue glaring at Josh.
âDrewâ you said sternly. He glanced down at you for a second, before looking back up at Josh. Josh smirked and waited to see what Drew was gonna do. âHeâs not worth it. Trust me.â You said. Drew looked down at you and softened.Â
He wrapped an arm around your shoulder an you wrapped both arms around his waist to walk to the bar.Â
âYou know, as hot as you are when you get all scary like that. I really really donât want you getting in a fight because I have an absolutely horrible ex boyfriend.âÂ
You emphasized the first part of this sentence, but Drew just gave you a deadpan stare. He knew you were trying to flirt with him to get him to relax. And you knew it was too late at this point. As evolved and emotionally intelligent as Drew was, he had now entered caveman mode. Josh challenging him because of you triggered instincts deep within him to meet that challenge aka defending your honor. ...1 point toxic masculinity, 0 points non-violent female empowerment.
At this point in your life, you were happy. You had everything you wanted in your career. You had a beautiful apartment. Your family was healthy. You had the best friends you could ask for. And of course, you had Drew. Drew was the one. He was your soulmate. Your best friend. And you knew it. You didnât feel the need to put Josh in his place any more. You just wanted to keep enjoying your life. You had time to make peace with what Josh did to you and you felt like you moved past it and him. Yeah, you felt like you were past it, you tried to convince yourself. It had been years since the incident happened and you and Josh broke up...
Flashback
You and Josh were 20 and had been on and off for a couple years. One night, you had both been out, when you started fighting, something that wasnât new to your relationship. Josh had been flirting with another girl a lot of the night and gaslighting you to make you feel like you were imagining it. As you brought up the flirting again, he was reaching for his car keys. You were pissed that he was using this tactic again. He would leave until you calmed down and started to worry about him so much that you would just finally give in and forget the fight, instead of holding him accountable. You were so mad at him for making you feel like you were crazy and for always manipulating you by leaving. You couldnât stop the words from coming out of your mouth, âSure, just leave again. Fucking typical, Josh. Like father, like son, I guess.â
And before you could even process what happened, the whole right side of your face was stinging, a cut near eye was bleeding from his ring and your ears were ringing. Josh had just backhanded you hard. Time stood still for a moment as your hand went to cradle your cheek. You were absolutely shocked.
âOh fuck. You okay?âÂ
You finally looked up at him with an unreadable expression on your face. â..donât make this a big deal, okay? That was a really shitty thing to say and you just made me so mad, I couldnât help i-â At that point, you stormed into the bedroom and locked the door. He now was faced with you being upset and maybe even losing you; he started knocking on the door and apologizing profusely after realizing your reaction. You were completely blocking out all the noise coming from the other side of the door as you tried to gather your thoughts.Â
Okay, that was a really low blow. Yeah, but he HIT you.
I definitely shouldnât have said that. But he HIT you.
Maybe I deserved it. No, he HIT you. You continued to argue with yourself.
What would you tell your y/bffâs/n if this happened to her?
What would your mom or dad tell you right now?
If he did it once, he could do it again.
...this isnât the first time youâve been scared of him.
...but he seems genuinely really sorry.
You opened the door to find Josh sitting on the ground leaning against the wall. He looked at you scared and hopeful, tears rolling down his cheeks.
âIâm sorry for what I said. It was really unfair and hurtful of me.â You stated genuinely.
Relief washed over his face for a second, âIâm so sorry baby. I swear that will never happen again.â He said, as he got up and he started to make his way to hug you.Â
âYeah, I know it will never happen again...â you held your hand out to stop him from touching you, confusion now evident in his expression, âbecause weâre done.â
His face dropped, expression now being somewhere between confused, angry and disappointed. Josh wasnât used to you putting up boundaries and not letting him get away with all the shit he pulled. âY/N-â he started.Â
âNo.â You said adamantly, âFrankly, I donât care how sorry you are. I donât care how much I pissed you off. I donât care how much you promise that will never happen again. Our relationship was toxic before what just happened. I know Iâm not perfect and I have a lot of things to work on. But I 1000% know in my bones, that I WILL NEVER let you hit me again. I deserve better. Weâre done. Iâm going to my parentsâ house. Iâm coming back tomorrow between 10 and 2 to get my stuff. Donât be here.â
A couple months later, you had a text from an unknown number. It was Josh borrowing a friendâs phone to text you, since you blocked any way he had to contact you. He apologized. He held himself accountable. There was no deflecting or manipulating in the message and he promised he would never contact you again. You replied: âThank you for your apology. Yes, Iâd appreciate it if you donât contact me again.â
And that was it. You ran into him briefly at the grocery store once and you had been in a really good mood. Your interaction was light and almost flirty. You felt so ashamed about it later, but you hadnât seen or heard from Josh again until years later, with Drew on set. And little did you know, seeing you with Drew set something off in Josh that he just couldnât let go.
-
As you stood at the bar, waiting for the bartenderâs attention, you turned to see the caveman version of your gorgeous boyfriend still glaring, his fists clenching and unclenching.
âBabe.â You said and he looked at you.
âHeâs got fuckin nerve.â He said shaking his head and you took a deep breath ready for the rant, âFirst off, called me a movie star. I am a serious actor, Y/N.âÂ
You couldnât help but laugh at Drew being offended anything this asshole said and Drewâs eyes widened at you and you stifled a giggle while you laced your hands around his neck to appease him, âMhmmâ you encouraged.Â
âAnd then he called me âAndrewââ Drew went on. And you nodded and gave him a sympathetic pout, âI know, I heard.â
âAnd THEN, he has the AUDACITY to put his fucking arm around you?! Bro, Iâm heateddddd-â He continued, barely paying attention to you as you leaned your body against his. You ignored the fact that he just called you bro and tried a different tact.Â
âDrew, stop. You canât get into a bar fight. Think about your job.â
âI donât care about my job. I care about you.â
âThatâs not true. You do care about your job. And I know you care about me. But if you get into a fight right now, itâs not gonna change what he did to me. It was a long time ago. Weâre not together anymore. Iâm over it. Punching him is not gonna do anything except jeopardize your future.â
Drew still had his fight face on, âWell, knocking that smirk off his fucking face would sure make me feel better.â He said and you scowled at him. âAnd for the record, I donât think youâre over it. And you donât have to be. You never have to be over it. And that doesnât mean you arenât fucking strong and badass.âÂ
You were quiet as you contemplated what Drew said. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, before looking at you. âOkayâ he said softly.Â
âThank youâ you said softly before you pulled him down to kiss him. After a minute of you successfully distracting him with a pretty passionate slow kiss, you felt Drew melt a little.Â
âHey, Iâm sorry. Do you want to leave? Like do you not feel like being out anymore?â He asked sweetly.
âNo, Iâm okay. Heâs just being a drunk asshole.â You turned away to grab the drinks the bartender poured for you and Drew, âWe probably wonât even see him for the rest of the night.âÂ
You turned back and realized caveman Drew was now glaring at Josh again as you spoke, â..or not.â You rolled your eyes.
Despite the bad beginning, you and your friends ended up having fun as the night went on. And you and Drew proceeded to drink. Which was probably not the smartest decision. You were both feistier when you drank and you knew Drewâs natural state of calmness was only going to wear off as the night went on.
Eventually, you had to go to the bathroom. But you didnât trust Josh to not instigate something with Drew while you were gone and you didnât trust Drew to not try and avenge your honor while you were gone either. So you found Austin, Chase and JD. Chase and JD were only half-listening as they watched whatever game was on the tvs at the semi-crowded bar.Â
âGuys, I need you to watch Drew while I go pee.â You said. Drew rolled his eyes and hung his head back with a groan.
âWhatâs the rig?â Austin asked, ironically using his favorite word as he put one arm on your shoulder and the other on Drewâs.
âDrew is trying to fight my ex-boyfriend and you need to stop him from ruining his career and/or going to jail for assault.â You looked at Drew as you finished your sentence remind him that he could get in serious trouble for getting in a fight. Drew scoffed as Austin looked to him for confirmation of what you were saying.
âHe called me a movie star dudeâ Drew said.
âOooffâ Austin agreed that this was a major dig.
âAnd then he called me âAndrewââ
âAhhh manâ Austin commiserated, âThis kid deserves to get hit for sure.â
âAustin!â You scolded, âYou are not helping!â
âBro, thatâs not even half of it. Like what he did to Y/N; he deserves to get the absolute shit beat out of him, I promise you-â
âOkay, stop! Weâre not discussing this. Chase, JD, you are in charge of Drew. Keep him occupied while I go pee and donât let him ruin his entire life by getting in a stupid bar fight. And Austin, stop encouraging him and keep your mouth shut til I get back please!â You commanded, as you pushed Drew and Austin toward Chase and JD. JD gave you a salute while he put his arm around Drewâs shoulders.Â
While you were gone, Drew was drunk and spilling all your business, trying to get all 3, also drunk, boys on his side. âGuys, you donât even know. This guy is the biggest asshole.â
âWait, is he really? Or do you just not like him because heâs y/nâs ex?â JD asked.
âNo dude. First of all, he like cheated on her a bunch of times; he was super manipulative and .. he fucking hit her once dude.â
The all looked at each other, âWhat the fuck?!â
âLike hit her?â
âYeahhhhhh, like physically hit her face.â
âWell you are completely justified, brother.â
âYeah, we have your back man, whatever happens.â They all nodded and broke out of their little huddle.
âLook! No fighting!â Chase said proudly when you got back, opening up his arms.
âGood job Chase. Gold starâ You said returning his quick side hug.
The group decided it was time to go to one more bar, so you all walked out the back ext into a big alley. Where, of course, Josh and his friends were smoking and noticed your crew before you noticed them.
âYou think her movie star boyfriend knows what an uptight little prude she used to be?â Josh said to his friend loud enough for you to hear. You honestly didnât even care about what Josh said, you knew he was trying to get Drew to react. And you knew even your sweet, soft Drew was not immune to anger getting the best of him. Drew stopped walking, still slightly turned away from Josh and just shook his head, not believing Joshâs audacity.Â
Even though the guys had been supportive when they were talking to Drew about fighting Josh, no one actually wanted that to happen. So Austin was quickly by Drewâs side, âDonât do it bro. Itâs not worth it.â
âDrew.â You said trying, to get him to focus on you. Unfortunately, you were with a group of boys full of testosterone and Chase was also feeling feisty and protective.Â
âHey, why donât you shut the fuck up broâ Chase said, taking a step toward Josh, but luckily a level-headed JD was immediately pushing Chase softly backward.Â
âOoh maybe, sheâs not such a prude anymore. Maybe sheâs sleeping with the whole cast; theyâre all so protective of her.â Josh laughed.
âJosh stop! What the fuck is wrong with you?â You yelled at him. And Drew was instantly moving in front of you, âYou need to stop talking right now man.â Drew said in a tone that made the hair on your arms stand up. You could feel the tension rolling off Drew.
âDrew calm down. Please.â You pleaded as he looked down at you.
âY/n, I canât let him talk about you that way.â
âHeâs trying to get under your skin. Thatâs what he wants.â
âYeah, well itâs fucking working.â
âDrew, come on. Letâs just go home.â He began to give in as you pulled his arm.Â
Josh was obviously determined for a fight, because the next thing that came out of his mouth made it impossible for anyone to stop Drew.
âHey good luck with y/n, man. I treated her like trash for years and she still came running back to me, bitch has got issu-â And before he could utter another word, Drewâs fist connected with his jaw.Â
âFuck.â You cursed as your hands went through your hair and you backed up between Austin, Chase and JD.
Josh recovered and hit Drew in the eye.Â
You gasped. Turning into JDâs chest and he protectively wrapped his arms around you. Drew hit Josh again and he fell to the ground. Drew bent over him and punched him again. âDonât you ever fucking talk about her again!â He yelled through gritted teeth, âDonât look at her again. And if you EVER touch her again, I swear to God-â he spat in between a few more punches.Â
âDrew! Please!â You yelled and finally Austin pulled him back. âThatâs enough, bro.âÂ
âCome onâ JD still had his arms around you, walking you away from everything.Â
Drew was breathing heavy and trying to overcome his adrenaline. You and JD were already around the corner with most of the group.Â
âCome on, letâs goâ Chase ushered Drew away with Austin. And they followed in the same direction. Drew saw you walking ahead of him.Â
âY/Nâ he called after you softly. You stopped and turned around. He was already right there enveloping you in his arms.Â
âFuck y/n. Iâm so sorry.â He muttered kissing the top of your head. You just kept holding each other while the group called Ubers.Â
You pulled away from him a little, âAre you okay?â You asked trying to get a look at the bruise forming on his face. âYeah, baby. Iâm fine. Iâm so sorry I did that. Iâm sorry I put you in this situation.â He said, hugging you again. After a long pause, you pulled up and looked up at him:
âThank you.â You stated genuinely and Drew looked at you surprised. But while you continued to look at each other, you both understood without saying anything more. You both knew it wasnât okay that Drew just got in a fight. And you both knew you didnât need your boyfriend to defend you honor, but you were thankful someone finally had.

ten voicemails

______
Through the entirety of Rafe and Sophie doing long distance, he had been great about keeping it to himself that he missed her. He knew that sharing it once in a while was alright, but too much and he was convinced heâd make her upset and ruin her study abroad experience - the last thing he wanted to. He even put his phone away most times if he was going to get drunk, knowing heâd probably end up drunkenly confessing something he shouldnât. He had a great track record - until he didnât.Â
He had to admit, he was feeling himself. Earlier that day, heâd FaceTimed her after his long-overdue haircut appointment, at her request. She had answered the phone in a hurry, walking to her metro stop with her bag slung over her shoulder and hadnât really looked too closely at the screen, more just listening through her headphones. When she finally glanced at him she stopped in her tracks abruptly, nearly bumping into someone. âOh my god, look at you!âÂ
He raised his eyebrows, running his hand through his hair nervously. He had let the hairdresser do whatever she wanted and she had gone for a shaggier cut that made his hair curl a little at the ends, a little trendier than he expected. âIs it that bad?âÂ
âNo! No, no, not at all - did you ask for that cut? Thatâs not your normal.âÂ
He shrugged, still a little wary of her reaction. âNo, I just let her do something new. Itâs okay, right?âÂ
âFuck, thatâs hot,â she cursed, trying to be quiet as people moved around her in the busy street.Â
He seemed to brighten almost immediately, his chest puffing up and cheeks turning a little pink. âYeah? You think so?âÂ
âAbsolutely.â Sophie glanced around, bringing the mic on her earbuds a little closer to her mouth as she spoke. âI cannot describe what I want to do to you right now, because I think I might get cited for public indecency, but holy hell. You look great, baby.âÂ
He beamed, but shook his head. âYouâre just saying that because we havenât seen each other in more than two months and youâre horny.âÂ
âIâm not! Iâm not, I swear.â She laughed. âLook, I gotta go or Iâll be late to work, but we can talk later, okay? You look hot, donât let anyone tell you otherwise.âÂ
That conversation alone had boosted his ego to the moon. Heâd gotten off work early - thank you, summer Fridays - and immediately convinced James and Colin into day drinking. They had just moved into their senior house a week ago and Rafe felt miles better not being under the pressure of living with Colinâs parents, as hospitable as they were.Â
Once the three of them were sufficiently drunk by five, they ordered multiple pizzas and indulged enough so they were somewhat sober again. Rafe had the brilliant idea of leaving Sophie voicemails every time they made the move to a new spot, keeping her updated. âSophie! Sophie, baby, hello. Weâre walkinâ to the Varsity Club now, then weâre gonâ get drunk again.âÂ
âI think youâre still drunk.â Colin pointed out, reaching for Rafeâs phone. âHi Sophie!âÂ
âJames, say hi.â Rafe ordered, holding the speaker toward him. James nodded and waved and Rafe was satisfied, despite the fact it was just a voicemail. âHe says hello. Anyways, just giving you the update. I donât think my typing fingers are all here ready to go, so mâ just gonna call you. Love you!â
That continued through the night as the boys got more drunk and got more indecipherable, with some yelling into the phone (âSophie! James is hitting on a girl!â) and some accidental calls where the only audio was the muffled music in the background. Once they finally stumbled out of the bars at closing time, all on their way to a miserable hangover when they woke up later that day, Rafe dug out his phone again to call Sophie.Â
She typically kept her phoneâs ringer on, just in case he needed her, but when she was woken up for the fifth time in the middle of the night, she had to silence it. However, sheâd also seen how at least one of the boys got hurt every time all three of them got drunk, so she could hardly sleep well anyways. She groaned when her phone lit up again with yet another voicemail from Rafe, this time of him singing Just The Two of Us horribly off-key.Â
âJesus Christ, Rafe, thatâs like your tenth voicemail.â James shook his head, amused, trying to grab the phone away from him. He made a noise of protest, standing on his toes and holding the phone out of Jamesâ reach. âNo! Gotta keep Sophie updated, I promised Iâd check in.âÂ
âGood thing she loves you, because even this would be too much for me.â Colin jested, throwing his arm around Rafeâs shoulders to keep him supported as they walked out the bar. âNo, sheâs in love with me. Thereâs a difference.â He corrected with a scowl.Â
âDoesnât matter.â Colin argued.Â
âDoes too matter. In love is like...â Rafe trailed off, thinking, then grinned. âItâs like when itâs finally spring again and you get to sit in that first warm patch of sun.âÂ
James rolled his eyes. âOkay, dummy. Youâre a fuckinâ sap.âÂ
âMâ not. Not at all.â Rafe argued, fumbling with his phone. Colin plucked it out of his hand, raising his eyebrows. âWhat the fuck are you trying to do, dude?â
âGotta check in.â Rafe insisted, grabbing it back and finally finding the FaceTime app and jabbing it with his thumb. Sophie picked up after a few rings, squinting with messy hair and reached to flick on a lamp. âWhat.â
âBaby!â He exclaimed, grinning. âAngel, look, Iâm with my friends, you know them.â He turned the phone to show Colin and James and they waved, Colin rolling his eyes.
âOkay. Do you know what time it is here?â She yawned, pulling the blankets tighter around herself.
âNo, how many times is it?â
She raised her eyebrows at his slurred speech and the unfocused look in his eyes. âHoly hell, youâre wasted, arenât you?â
âNo no no.â Rafe shook his head quickly. âNo drinkings tonight. Nothing.â
âNot good to lie to your girlfriend, Rafe.â James teased and Sophie scowled. âHeâs right. No lying.â
âOkay, fine. I had...um...two drinks. Thatâs all.â
âNo you didnât.â
âNo I didnât.â He agreed, nodding. âIt was seven. Eight. Nine.â
âAlright. Are you safe? Mâ kind of tired, baby.â
Both the boys grinned to each other, making a mental note to give him shit for the pet name later. Rafe ignored them, not looking away from the screen once. âMy liver might not be safe.â
She snorted, nodding. âOkay. Can I go back to sleep?â
âNo. If youâre already up then we can talk.â He insisted and she groaned, dropping her face into her pillow. âRafe, no. Iâm hanging up, I went to bed at three.â
âYouâre not hanging up on me. You need to get more sleep though, your scheduleâs out of whack. Hey, remember when we used to fight?â
She lifted her head slowly, annoyed. âYes.â
âAre we fighting right now?â
âWill you let me hang up?â
âNo.â
âThen yes. Weâre fighting.â She rolled her eyes as his face dropped and he put on a big frown. âNo! I donât like fighting Sophie and Rafe. You know what, though?â
âWhat?â
âWe missed out on a hate fuck.â
âRafe!â She hissed immediately, turning bright red. âJames and Colin are right there.â
âSâokay, they know I liked you for evers.â
âThey donât need to know about our sex life -â
âWe know way too much about your sex life.â James interrupted, swatting Rafe upside the head just because he could. âSo itâs kind of useless to be embarrassed about it now.â
âOh my god.â She covered her face with her hands, shaking her head. âRafe, keep your mouth shut.â
He was completely unbothered and sent her a dopey grin. âOkay. Hey, when we get married, are you gonna let me buy the ring?â
Suddenly she was wide awake and she rubbed her eyes, unsure if she heard him correctly. âHold up, you said when?â
âYes, when. I donât want to have to stick to your budget, you deserve the biggest damn diamond ever.â
Colin and James exchanged a glance as they walked up ahead of Rafe, a little wary of the conversation he was setting himself up for but too drunk themselves to care.
âUm. Who said weâre getting married?â
He frowned, sighing heavily like the topic was exhausting. âWe are. You know it, I know it.â
Sophie hummed in response, unsure of how to answer that. âOkay then. Thatâs, um. Nice of you to say.â
âYou have to promise me one thing.âÂ
She took a deep breath. âRafe, Iâm not sure I want to be promising anything to you right now -âÂ
âI want you to wear a garter so I can take it off with my teeth on our wedding night.â He insisted, looking way too serious as he told her. âWeâre going to get married, or you wouldnât have moved your ring.âÂ
She blushed and hoped he couldnât tell from the dim glow of the lamp, ignoring his request. âI moved it because it fits better on my ring finger.âÂ
âIâm sure you did.â He nodded, placated, and she was grateful he didnât press it further. âI wish you were here, itâs more fun getting drunk with you.â
âHey!â James spun on his heel and Colin had to grab at him to keep him upright. âWeâre plenty fun!â
âAre you gonna make out with me then cuddle? I donât think so.â Rafe shot back, grinning when Sophie laughed.
âRafe got hit on tonight.â Colin informed her, breaking into a round of giggles with James as Rafe sent them a glare.Â
âYou got hit on? Was she pretty?â Sophie raised her eyebrows, trying to hide a small smile.Â
âUmâŠâ Rafe trailed off, trying to form a complete thought. âShe was nice.âÂ
âYeah? Just nice?âÂ
He nodded decidedly. âJust nice.âÂ
âPractically flashed you.â James argued. âThatâs more than just nice.âÂ
The girl had leaned over the bar to say hi to Rafe, giving him a view down her shirt - he had immediately blushed red and shoved Colin forward, telling her Colin was single but Rafe was most definitely not.Â
âBold.â Sophie commented, yawning. âGood for her.âÂ
Rafe narrowed his eyes a little. âYouâre not mad?âÂ
âDid you flirt back?âÂ
âNo! Of course not!â He exclaimed, shaking his head vigorously.Â
She shrugged. âThatâs what I thought. Iâm not mad, I have no reason to be. Can I go back to sleep now, please?âÂ
âPay attention, Rafe.â Colin called out, glancing behind him to see Rafe nearly walking into a streetlight pole as he kept his eyes trained on the screen.Â
âNo. You get to hang out with me.â He decided and she grumbled, but rolled onto her side and set the phone up hands-free so she could at least watch him get home safely.Â
âHey, Sophie!â James butted his head against Rafeâs to get in view of the screen, making him yelp.Â
âHi James.âÂ
âRemember you gotta come home soon. If you donât, Rafeâs gonna be sad and I canât have my buddy being sad.â He told her seriously, slinging his arm around Rafeâs shoulders.Â
She laughed, nodding. âIâll come home, donât worry.â She grinned. âI would miss you and Colin too much.âÂ
âHey!â Rafe exclaimed, indignant. âWhat about me?âÂ
âWhat about you?âÂ
He was about to open his mouth and make his case when he tripped on the uneven sidewalk and his phone clattered to the ground. James cracked up, picking up the phone and flipping the camera to show Rafe in someoneâs front yard, lying next to a crumpled metal sign. âGet up, dumbass.âÂ
âWait, no, hold on, is he bleeding?â Sophie frowned, suddenly more attentive.Â
âNoooo. Mâ fine.â Rafe insisted, clapping his hand over a slice down his arm.Â
âShow me your arm, Rafe.â She commanded and he scowled but obliged, showing her a small but deep cut on his forearm and the blood trailing out of it. She nearly retched but squeezed her eyes shut instead for a moment, taking a deep breath. âOkay. Whereâs Colin? Is he sober?âÂ
âHere!â Colin had gotten a solid block ahead of them, wandering, then jogged back once he realized his friends had stopped. âDamn, dude.â He mumbled, just standing there and watching Rafe bleed.Â
âJesus Christ.â Sophie muttered. âOkay. Can one of you get an Uber to the hospital? Please?âÂ
James handed the phone to Colin and took off his shirt, tapping it ultra-gently against Rafeâs cut, effectively doing nothing. âMineâs dead.âÂ
âI didnât bring my phone.â Colin added, then squinted as he finally got a good look at her. âYou look tired, you should sleep more.âÂ
She pinched the bridge of her nose, trying not to lose her composure. âWhere are you guys?âÂ
âDunno.â Colin turned in a circle, nearly tripping over his feet. âOh! Weâre by the stadium.âÂ
âAlright. Iâm going to hang up and call my friends to come get you, do you promise to stay there?âÂ
âSophie?â Rafe asked, his voice a little weak.Â
âYeah, Rafe?âÂ
âIf I bleed out and die, I need you to know that I love you and I miss having sex with you.âÂ
She rolled her eyes, exasperated. âThatâs sweet. Youâll be fine. Stay there, okay? I need a promise from all of you.âÂ
The boys all mumbled a chorus of âI promise,â and she hung up, satisfied, then immediately called Allie and Julia to go pick them up. Luckily they were both sober and corralled the boys into Allieâs car, taking the phone from Rafe to keep Sophie updated. Once they made the short drive to the emergency room, Julia opened the door to help Rafe out, making Allieâs car light turn on. He groaned and threw his uninjured arm over his eyes, squinting. âI canât go to the light. I gotta make it for my girl.âÂ
âThatâs not - thatâs the car light, Cameron.â Julia told him, tugging to get him out. He stayed limp like a ragdoll, shaking his head. âTell Sophie I love her.âÂ
âYouâre not dying. Get out of the car.â Sophie commanded from the FaceTime call. Rafe snapped his head up toward the sound. âI hear her.âÂ
âWhat on earth did you drink?â Allie asked incredulously, taking the phone from Julia. âLook, can we just text you when weâre out? Airhead here is gonna be too distracted.âÂ
Sophie laughed, running her hand over her face. âYes, thatâs fine. Thank you for putting up with him.âÂ
Julia grumbled, finally tugging Rafe out of the car with Jamesâ assistance. âHe owes us a bottle of some good wine after this.âÂ
Two hours later, Rafe was fresh out of the hospital with a tetanus shot and three stitches, and a promise to detail Allieâs car in order to get the blood off of her leather seats (which she had just easily cleaned with a Clorox wipe). He was still a little drunk, but not nearly at the same level when the girls texted her a picture of him with a dopey grin and two fingers up on one hand, then one finger on the other.Â
Allie: your boyfriend is a nightmare drunk
Sophie: unfortunately
what are the fingers supposed to mean
Julia: he said it stands for two and a half weeks until he sees youÂ
Sophie: aw. you two are the best, seriouslyÂ
Allie: a boyfriend of yours is a boyfriend of ours

(My GIF)
Wanting to turn round and get the hell out of there, Madani found herself rooted to the spot. It was like car crash TV... she just couldnât bring herself to look away. So, she stood there and just watched.
She couldnât move, couldnât speak, she just stared at the scene in front of her. The room door was at her back and she went along with it involuntarily as it swung closed behind her. Coming to rest against it, she drew in a long breath.
Her eyes were glued to that damn cute ass of Billyâs. Watching it... relentlessly, hypnotically moving up and down, up and down, up and down. Listened to his breathy moans and low grunts as he pounded in and out of her. Uhh, uhh, unnhhh, unnhhh. Caught glimpses of his balls between his legs, snapping backwards with each thrust. A sheen of sweat visible across his shoulders and back. Saw one hand making its way down to where their bodies were joined, his other running gently along her thigh.
Her! she thought venomously. It should be me... he should be on top of me in that bed!
But still she watched. And watched. It was really dim in the room, and she realised the curtains were almost fully closed. She found herself craning her neck forward slightly to get a better look.
She watched as he kept on thrusting, then she noticed the muscles in his ass eventually tense up. Another three or four shorter thrusts, then she heard Billy cry out. Heard him breathe her name, saw him lowering his head to rest on her shoulder for a moment before bringing it up to her face; she just knew he was kissing her now. âI love you,â Madani heard him say, and more kisses followed.
The breath sheâd taken in left her lips in a long hiss. This was just so not fucking fair!
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
You reached up off the pillows to kiss Billyâs beardy chin above you, but a sudden movement near the door caught your eye. You let out a small shriek as you saw a shadowy figure standing there and Billy leaned back immediately, looking at you anxiously. You pointed towards the door and his head shot round in that direction. A snarl appeared on his lips and he roughly grabbed the bedcovers, quickly pulling them over the two of you. He leaned up on his elbows, looking over his shoulder at the intruder.
âMadani!!!â he yelled, âYou... you fuckinâ.... Get the fuck outta here!!!â
You heard the door slam, and raised your face from where youâd hidden it against Billyâs chest. You hadnât been able to make out who it was in the low light. âThat was her?â you asked him, and he nodded, throwing back the covers and sitting up against the pillows, running both hands through his wayward hair. âYeah,â he replied, âyeah, it fuckinâ was. That crazy fucking bitch.â
You also sat up, bringing the sheet across you and under one arm, âWhat the hell was she doing in your room, Billy?â You were glaring at him, and he quickly put his hand on your cheek, âI have no idea, angel... truly I donât. Please donât be thinkinâ this was some kinda hookup, cos it wasnât! Iâm gonna fuckinâ strangle her.... urrrhhhh!!â You could see that he was absolutely furious.
Reassured, you softened your gaze. He carried on, âWeâre not due to meet up with her for another half hour. She musta been given a pass key and for whatever reason, came charginâ in here.â
You ran your fingers up through his hair, sweeping it back from his forehead, âBilly, I swear Iâm gonna nail Agent Madaniâs ass to the wall when all this is done!â
âYou and me both, sweetheart,â Billy said grimly.
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
Billy had got up and showered (with you) after that, then heâd unpacked his black tactical suit and got into it. While you were busy admiring how he looked in it - like, really damn sexy - after a long and passionate kiss, heâd left you in the room, telling you to doublelock the door and not to open it for anyone except him.
Youâd been made to promise on the lives of everyone you held dear that youâd stay there, until he got back. He didnât know exactly when that would be, which you had to admit pissed you off a bit but you understood he couldnât give you a precise time and why. Itâs just you didnât like the thought of being cooped up in the room all day.
Oh well, you had the TV, the movie channels, the mini bar... and room service. Your eyes lit up. Room service!!
Eager to get ordering, you started looking for the menu in the pile of hotel stuff on the funky reclaimed wooden desk, which was underneath a huge ornate mirror. You caught sight of yourself in it as you did so. Ohh... okay, youâd better lose the âIâve Just Been Fucked Senselessâ look before the room service guy arrived, otherwise you might just give him the fright of his life.
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
Dinah Madani had stumbled out of Billyâs room, letting the door slam behind her. She took off along the corridor at a cracking pace, face flaming red, heading for the fire exit stairs. She smoothed down the fabric of her jacket with her hands, then ran them down onto her trousers, trying to calm her breathing as she went.
She replayed the vision of Billyâs naked body in her mind, of him having sex, blocking out the inconvenient fact that heâd been in bed with someone else.
Damn, she was aroused. She could feel how damp her panties were as she walked. How was she supposed to get the handsome big bastard out of her head now, after seeing that display? In her head, she transposed herself into that bed, underneath him. She could almost feel him inside her.
And every time she looked at him from now on? Yes - she was going to be imagining him naked. And it wouldnât be to give herself more self-confidence in front of a bunch of people, like they taught you to do in those self-help courses.
As she started making her way down the stairs, she mentally shook herself - sheâd better get her head back in the game or this could all go horribly wrong.
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
Billy had taken the same route down a couple of floors to the room being used as the base of operations. He was still fuming about Dinahâs little voyeuristic visit to his room. What the fuck was she thinking, coming into his room unannounced? If he hadnât been otherwise engaged he couldâve shot her! And just how long had she been standing there, watching him make love to his girl?
Weird bitch, he thought, but Iâll settle the score with her once this is all over.
He knocked once on the door, saw an eye appear in the spyhole and then the door opened. Frank and the rest of the Anvil team were already there, along with Madani and her Homeland agents. He glared at Madani but she wouldnât meet his eyes.
Frank winked and grinned at him, fully aware of the âoperationâ Billy had been on prior to arriving. Wait till he told him about Madaniâs latest little stunt!
They got down to business, running through the details of the op and all the âwhat ifâsâ and Plan A, Plan B, Plan C scenarios once again. Everyone was given their positions, tasked with certain duties, told to make sure their earpieces were in and working. The two teams started leaving the room and dispersing to their designated locations. The undercover agent remained to get a further briefing from Billy, Frank and Madani, then he too left to go to his room where the meet would take place.
That left the three of them, plus the Homeland agents whoâd be monitoring all the comms and security cameras. Billy marched right up to Madani, towering over her and glaring so furiously at her that it was a wonder she didnât catch on fire. In a very low voice that only the three of them could hear, he bit out, âIâm sayinâ nothing right now about what happened earlier, Dinah - we need to be totally focused on this fuckinâ op - but weâre gonna be having a conversation about it at some point.â
He caught sight of Frankâs puzzled face but just gave him a small shake of the head. âRight,â he said, âcâmon Frankie, letâs go and check the perimeters.â
The two of them left, leaving Madani to pace the room and watch the CCTV screens over the shoulders of her agents. She hadnât said a word directly to Billy or looked him in the eye during the entire briefing.
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
Billy strode along the corridor so quickly that Frank had to really hurry to catch him up. âHey, Bill! Whatâs up with you and Madani now?â Billy shook his head, âDunno that I should talk about it, Frankie, Iâm still fuckinâ furious with her, and I really gotta concentrate on all this shit thatâs goinâ down today.â They reached the stairs, Billy opening the fire door and they started down the steps.
Frank grabbed his arm and they both stopped walking. âDonât forget I know you betterân you know yourself, Russo. If you donât get this off ya chest, youâre gonna explode. And that ainât what we need right now.â
Billy leaned his back against the wall and sighed, âYeah, youâre right.â He broke eye contact with Frank, saying, âSheâs got a master key for the rooms.â Frank said warily, âYeah, I know she does... and?â
âCame crashinâ into our room, when I was... we were...â Frankâs eyes got huge, âhavinâ sex. Stood there for fuck knows how long watchinâ us, till we finally noticed her after... after we finished, anâ I yelled at her to get out.â
âFor fuckâs sake!â Frank said through gritted teeth, âWhat the fuckâs wrong with that woman?!â
Shaking his head, Billy shrugged, âI dunno, Frank. Sheâs got issues, thatâs for sure.â He turned and started down the stairs again, âCâmon, letâs get this shitshow on the road.â
»»ââââââââââââ-âââ-ăâăâââââââââââ-ââââ-««
Youâd ended up having the most pleasant day to yourself. Leisurely soak in the spa bath, several room service orders (repairs having been carried out before the waiterâs first visit), several little trips to and from the mini-bar for G&Tâs. Youâd finished the gin now, and had moved on to vodka & coke. Not your favourite but beggars, choosers etc.
Youâd been on one of the big movie channels, and so far you were three fantasy films, two rom-coms and a heist movie into their list. In fact youâd started drifting off to sleep as you got towards the end of the heist movie, and made yourself sit up to make sure you didnât doze off. You gazed back at the massive wall-mounted TV and tried to pick up whereabouts you were in the plot. Oh right - bank robbery.
The bad guys ran into the bank, firing shots into the air and getting everyone to lie down on the floor. But there was that one hero security guard, who drew his gun and tried to shoot the bad guy gang leader. Cue good guy getting shot, up rolls a police armed response unit, cue gun battle, various dead good and bad guys, oh and hereâs the car chase as a couple of baddies got away.
Hey hang on, the gun battleâs still going on, but neither the cops or the bad guys are shooting at each other as theyâre too busy doing handbrake turns and screeching round corners.
It dawned on you the gunfire you could hear was in your freaking hotel. Leaping up and zipping over to the window, you saw various black SUVâs parked randomly in the middle of the street, blue lights flashing and doors wide open, but apart from crowds of the general public running for cover, there was no-one in sight round the big cars.
You could still hear the rattle of gunfire, and then all of a sudden it went eerily quiet.
Breathing unsteadily, you had a nasty feeling in the pit of your stomach and your hand wavered towards the doorhandle. The temptation to open it was huge. âNo!â screeched the sensible part of your brain, âfor just once in your life.... Do. What. Youâre. Told.â Your hand went back to your side. Okay, you win, you told your brain glumly.
You walked back over and sat on the bed, ended the movie - the bad guys were probably either A) going to get away or B) get caught - so you could live without seeing the end of it. Starting to flick through the programme guide, you finally found a news channel, but they had nothing about the hotel or âshots firedâ.
So you spent the next thirty minutes sitting on the bed for 3 minutes then getting up and pacing, then sitting on the bed again for another 3 minutes, then pacing again... hit the repeat button on that scenario until there was a big knock at the door.
You headed over to the door but didnât put your eye to the peephole, having seen a film once where someone got shot in the eye that way. Yes, you did watch a lot of movies, what of it! So you just called out, standing to one side, so you wouldnât get shot through the door either (yes, yes, saw that in the movies too), âWhoâs that?!â
Billyâs voice said, âItâs me, sweetheart. Can you let me in? And donât get upset but I got grazed a coupla times by bullets so Iâm bleedinâ quite a bit.â
Donât get upset? you thought, heâs gotta be joking hasnât he? You hastily unlocked and pulled open the door, and you saw a very pale-faced Billy leaning on the doorframe, blood on his face and on one of his arms. You could see ripped fabric on the sleeve of his tactical suit where the blood was coming from.
âOh, Billy,â you said, worried, dragging him into the room and slamming the door closed.

The Big Mistake
Authors Note: Iâm planning on starting a fanfiction of some kind and this is just a story I wrote using the OC (Abilene Morgan) I plan to use in the fic and her roommate Lily. I hope you like it. Im pretty sure there aren't any trigger warnings for this one. It turned out longer than I hoped but that just means more Bodecker.Â
She knew she shouldn't go into a bar without Lee especially when it was Mickyâs, the local dive and hangout for all the low lives in Knockemstiff. Unfortunately for her, the workday at the hardware store was long and tiring, all she wanted was a quick drink and Mickyâs was four doors down from the store. Knowing that if Lee found out, he would be more than pissed, she planned to just go in for a quick shot of whiskey and then get in her Chevy and head home.Â
Abilene finished her shot and stuck to her plan, she paid the bartender and walked out of the shabby building. She smiled to herself as she walked to her car, thinking for a moment she was completely in the clear, Lee would never know. Abilene got to the big window at the front of the hardware store then she saw the reflection of a red light. A chill went down her spine when she heard the car door open and then slam shut.Â
She slowly turned towards the car, there he was standing on the road staring daggers into her. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked, leather jacket half way zipped so she could barely see his white uniform shirt and green tie, and his hands resting on his hips. Abilene silently prayed she would be able to talk her way out of this one, she smiled sweetly âHey Handsome, how's your patrol going?â Lee walked over to the passenger door of his patrol car and opened it, âGet in.â âLee my car is just over there, you can walk me the rest of the way if you want?â Abilene said hopefully. His jaw tightened, âGet. in.â he repeated. Abilene signed and walked towards the cruiser, stopping at Lee who was still holding the door open. âI know youâre angry at me, but I did miss you today.â She leaned in, silently surprised he didn't jerk away from her when she planted her lips on his cheek.Â
Lee slammed the car door and walked to the drivers side, sliding in beside her. He aggressively shifted the car into drive and started on the silent drive towards Abileneâs house. They were about ten minutes away from her house when Lee pulled to the shoulder and stopped the car, when he threw the shifter into park Abilene felt her stomach turn. She glanced up from her lap to sneak a look at him, he was staring forward, he was gripping the steering wheel so tight she could see his knuckles turning pale white. âWhat in Godâs name were you thinkin?â He finally said after the much too long silence. Abilene sighed, âIt was a long day, nothin went right and I just wanted a quick drink. All I did was take a shot and leave.â âWhat have I told you about goin there without me? Huh? It ain't safe Abilene and you damn well know it!â He turned to face her as he spoke, his voice getting louder. âStop hollering at me, Iâm a grown woman and I can do what I want Lee. It ain't like I walked two miles down the road.â She said, her tone matching his aggressiveness. âYou best watch that mouth of yours little girl.â He was yelling now, the fury evident in his voice. âYa know what, I don't have to take you sittin here hollerin 'at me like a child.â Abilene threw open the car door and stepped out into the warm summer night air, slamming the car door behind her. She started to walk towards her house before Lee even had the chance to get out of the car.Â
âAbilene! What the hell are you doin! Itâs almost 10 oâclock and your house is an hour walk!â She heard him yell. âItâs much fuckin better than bein in a car with you!â She yelled looking back for a brief moment to see him standing outside the car. she started to walk faster when she heard him yell âFuck!â his car door slamming a second later. The headlights started to get closer to her, she didn't look at the car or Lee as he passed her briefly before stopping a few yards in front of her. He quickly got out of his car, not even bothering to close the car door. She growled when he started walking towards her. âSweetie, will you please get back in the car?â He asked, his voice now much more level. âNo! go home Sheriff, I can handle myself.â She crossed her arms in front of her chest and tried to walk past him. He reached out quickly grabbing her gently by her arms pulling her so she was standing in front of him, she tried to pull out of his grip but he squeezed a little tighter. âI swear Sheriff, if you donât let me go I will end up goin to jail.â She hissed, ripping her arms out of his clutch, pushing past him.Â
Abilene breathed a sigh of relief when a car passed her that wasn't the patrol car. She looked into the car when she heard a woman's voice call her name. âAbilene? What are you doin?â Lily, her roommate, asked, Abilene silently wondered why Lily was out this late, but she was thankful for it at the current moment. âLily! Are you goin home?â Lily nodded and Abilene glanced back at Lee as she pulled the car door open and got in, thanking Lily for saving her from having to get back into the car with Lee. âWhen we get home youâre gonna have to tell me what happened.â Lily said as she began to drive. Abilene nodded looking in the side mirror in time to see Lee kick the tire of his patrol car.Â
The next morning Abilene went to work at the hardware store, her gloomy mood noticed by Lily who came in to bring her a sack lunch. âWhatâs up Buttercup? Why the long face?â Lily asked, popping her chewing gum as she leaned on the checkout counter. âI feel horrible for leaving Lee last night, he shouldnât have yelled but I should have stayed and talked things through with him.â She signed resting her head on her hand. Lily nodded âHe pulled up to the station right as I was driving past to come drop off your lunch.â Abilene popped up from the counter, âCan you watch the store for me for a few?â Lily smiled and nodded as Abeline hurried towards the door. âGo getâem tiger.â she yelled.Â
Abilene walked into the Sheriff's Department passing by the reception desk. âHi Miss Abilene, what can I do for you?â Miller, the reception officer asked, Abilene smiled, âIs the Sheriff busy? I need to speak with him.â Miller shook his head and pointed in the direction of Leeâs office, âLast door on the right.â Smiling Abilene walked down the hallway to the office. Knocking on the door softly she heard him say âcome inâ. Lee didn't look up until he heard the office door close, When his eyes met hers he gave her a soft almost apologetic look. âMornin Sheriff, I have a crime to report.â She said and he bit back a smile, leaning back in his chair. âOh do ya now? What can I help ya with?â She walked toward his desk sitting in the chair across from him. âWell, I know a girl that might have threatened a police officer last night around 10 oâclock.â Lee nodded âWell Miss Morgan, that's a very serious crime.â Abilene sighed âI know, and I think she feels pretty awful about it.â Lee pushed back from his desk, motioning for her to come over to him. Abilene stood and walked so she was standing in the space between him and his desk. Lee patted his lap and Abilene sat down and circled her arms around his neck. He leaned his forehead against hers. âIâm sorry I yelled at you Darlin. I just didnt want anything to happen to ya and when I saw you comin out of that shit hole it scared me. I donât know what Iâd do without ya.â Abilene kissed him âIâm sorry for leavin you, I should have stayed and talked to you instead of pitching a fit and running off with Lily.â Lee cupped her face and kissed her passionately, she pulled away and Lee looked confused. âI hate to break this up, but I left Lily at the hardware store to come talk to you.â Abilene laughed and Lee smiled âWhat would ya say to goin for a drive and maybe a milkshake after your shift?â Abilene kissed him again, standing up from his lap âThat sounds perfect. I'll see you later Sheriff.â she winked at him walking out of the office. As she walked back to the store she thought about all the ways they would make it up to each other later tonight.Â

Princess: Yes duh.
Harry: Itâs called the Three Amigos.
Niall: I love dat itâs been da same name since we made it eight years ago.
Q: Who is the most annoying in the group chat?
Harry: Me
Niall: For sure Harry. Heâs da bloody worst at sending incomplete thoughts instead of just thinking about what heâs tryin ta say and sending one long paragraph.
Princess: He just tells us things as they pop into his head is all. Itâs not annoying.
Niall: Sheâs jus sayin dat cos sheâs nice.
Harry: No sheâs saying that because she does the same thing just not as much as I do. Remember that time she was trying to tell us she ran into Orlando Bloom at Starbucks?
Niall: Bloody hell that was such a shit show of a text conversation.
Princess: I was star struck! I couldnât form complete sentences!
Q: What are yours names in each otherâs phones?
Niall: Harry is jus saved as H an Princess is saved as Princess wit da crown emoji an a heart.
Harry: Niall is the Irish One in my phone and Princess is Bestfriend and it has a sparkle and heart emoji next to it.
Niall: *rolls eyes*
Princess: Oh Harry is saved under Little Lanky Baby with a red heart and Niall is My Little Irish Marshmallow with a clover emoji.
Harry: What? Are you serious?
Niall: Have Ya never noticed our contact names when she sends screenshots?
Harry: Iâm not lanky?
Niall: Are ya havin a laugh mate? Yer arse is lanky.
Princess: You really are and thatâs okay! Everyone loves it!
Harry: I donât know how I feel about this...
Princess: Youâll survive.
Q: When do you three actually become as close as you are now? Was it instant?
Harry: I think it was maybe a month after we met. We got really close very fast because we talked all the time.
Niall: I agree, it was pretty fast we jus clicked and I think it was like after a month or so that we invited her to a show and after dat it was like we knew each other fo ever.
Princess: Texting and talking on the phone really helped speed up the getting to know you process. Theyâve had a key to my apartment since like six months after knowing them. We all just meshed really well and itâs been great.
Q: Have you ever been in a fight? If so what was it about?
Niall: Oh god...
Harry: Yes. One fight and I donât like to talk about it. But it was about my debut album details getting out before I was ready.
Princess: Heâs so sensitive about this subject but yeah only one so far and it only lasted like three days so wasnât too bad.
Harry: Wasnât too bad? It was horrible. We didnât speak for 72 hours.
Niall: It was all a misunderstanding type thing cos Harry over reacted and got mean and then just didnât know how to fix it.
Princess: He didnât overreact. He was right to be mad at me.
Harry: Iâm not getting into this.
Niall: Itâs been years mate let it go itâs okay you got upset at her, no friendship is perfect, even ours.
Harry: You wanna talk about how you also got mad at her the same day? Or no?
Niall: Jesus Yer in a mood today, mâfine talkin bout our little fight cos it only lasted a day and it was cos I blew things outta proportion.
Princess: Once again itâs fine we are allowed to be upset with each other. Next question?
Harry: Yes. Letâs move on.
Q: Is jealously an issue between the three of you?
Niall: *looks at Harry*
Princess: *also looks at Harry*
Harry: Excuse me, may I help you two with something?
Princess: Wanna talk about getting jealous?
Harry: I donât get jealous.
Niall: Are ya fuckin jokin? Yer arse is the reason why we have ta have a group calendar so no one gets more one on one time than the other Ya knob!
Harry: That has nothing to do with being jealous. I like to be organized with my time thatâs all.
Princess: Thatâs all? You sure?
Harry: Iâm sure.
Princess: So itâs not because one time you realized Niall and I had seen each other three times in one week without you?
Harry: I mean three times in a week is a lot.
Niall: Yer ridiculous mate jus admit ya get jealous whenever P hangs out wit anyone besides you.
Harry: Iâm choosing not to respond to that.
Q: Whoâs the most protective?
Princess: Itâs a toss up between the two of them.
Harry: Iâd say i get more protective while Niall is the first to want to fight anyone who makes P feel uncomfortable or makes her cry. But Iâm the one who wants to just prevent it at all costs.
Niall: what he means is he would rather P never leave da bloody house.
Harry: It would make it easier...
Princess: I get protective over them as well though!
Harry: *looks at Niall*
Niall:*looks at Harry*
Princess: What? Remember that time I yelled at that man who was trying to take pictures of us at the beach?
Niall: I mean yer right, ya can get protective an are always the first ta tell paps to fuck off.
Harry: She can be very ferocious when she wants to be.
Niall: *laughs*
Princess: Both of you are assholes.
Harry: I didnât say anything!
Q: Was it easier being friends when Niall and Harry were both in the same band?
Princess: Yes I mean it wasnât as chaotic trying to figure out what dates work best to see who but also it was a whole different type of chaos when Iâd go visit them while they were in One Direction.
Niall: Ya it was wild as hell when sheâd come cos we were literally always doin somethin fo tha band either all five of us or dey would separate us into groups and it would be Harry and I and the rest of da boys and we would be shootin promo or even recordin a bloody album!
Harry: It was always her getting shoved in a backseat with us in a car or getting little fifteen minutes breaks to talk and actually see each other between whatever the hell we had to do the days she was on tour with us.
Princess: But the shows were so much fun, but Iâd honestly say getting to visit them while on their solo tours is better than when they were in One Direction simply because they get more down time and itâs not always go go go like it was back then.
Niall: I agree, when we get to the venues of our shows we donât have ten thousand things ta do before the show so we get to chill and hang out.
Harry: Itâs really such a different world going on tour now than it was when we toured with One Direction.
Princess: But I honestly would put up with the craziness of visiting them while in One Direction still if I had to.
Niall: Is she-
Harry: Hinting that she wants a One Direction reunion tour? Yes.
Princess: What? Thatâs not what I meant.
Harry: Mhm...right.
Niall: *laughs*
Princess: *rolls eyes*
Q: Okay but really who do you enjoy hanging out with more?
Niall: *looks at Princess*
Harry: Hmm...
Princess: Is this just a question for me? *raises an eyebrow*
Harry: I have the most fun with Princess.
Niall: Same. Harry makes me wanna smack em upside da head too much when itâs jus tha two of us.
Harry: I could say the same thing about you, you little hobbit.
Princess: I donât have a favorite. I get asked this all the time on my Instagram and I feel like no one believes me? But I truly donât have a favorite to hang out with and actually like it when itâs all three of us together.
Q: How do you deal with dating while being so close to the boys? Does it get weird?
Harry: Threats. Lots of threats.
Niall: Oh please we arenât tha most threatenin set of blokes H. It doesnât get weird tho cos P doesnât really date do ya Princess?
Princess: I go on dates yes, I havenât been in a serious relationship is a while but itâs not weird, everyone I talk to knows Iâm friends with Niall and Harry.
Harry: Iâd like to think we have more than just a regular friendship...
Princess: I mean yes itâs a bit different. But I let them know before it even gets to us going on dates that the two of them are a massive part of my life.
Niall: Same goes fo us though, I tell the people mâinterested in bout P and the fact sheâs one of the main people in my life and most of em are fine wit it.
Harry: Everyone who knows me knows about my relationship with Princess and knows that nothing comes before it. She will always come first, like it or not.
Princess: He is so dramatic i swear he makes it sound like Iâm the only person in his life that heâs like this with, itâs the same with his family. Not just me.
Niall: Harry is dramatic though but itâs true, everyone that even tries ta get wit H knows three things for sure and itâs that he loves a good Gucci suit, loves his family and his friendship with Princess is untouchable.
Harry: Oh now who sounds dramatic?
Princess: We are going to be single forever arenât we?
Niall: We could do one of dem packs about getting married if we are single when we are thirty.
Harry: Iâd rather not marry you when Iâm thirty thatâs when Iâll just be starting to thrive.
Niall: Oi! Then when? Ya wanna be so old ya wonât enjoy it?
Harry: Youâll enjoy it no matter the age it happens you knob.
Princess: How about sixty? Still young, I mean look at Bruce he is thriving!
Harry: *rolls eyes* youâve been dying to bring up Bruce Willis havenât you?
Niall: Deal.
Harry: I guess I can agree to that.
Q: Favorite thing about each other?
Niall: Iâd have to say I enjoy Harryâs opinions, he doesnât sugar coat em he knows I donât like all that fake ass stuff so he tells it to me straight.
Harry: Youâre quite welcome for always telling you when youâre being an asshole.
Niall: Ya gotta ruin every moment donât ya? Anyways Iâd say my favorite thing bout Princess would be...her ability to jus know what I need and when I need it.
Harry: Itâs kind of freaky how she does that though right? The texts are the creepiest.
Niall: Right? Like when she can jus sense yaâve had a bad day so she sends ya Dis heartwarming text and yer jus like how the bloody fuck did she know??
Princess: I just know you both so well! I canât help it.
Harry: Itâs great love, we love it.
Niall: doesnât make it any less creepy though.
Princess: Well Iâd say my favorite thing about Niall is that he has this ability to make everyone around him instantly feel comfortable and like at home if that makes any sense?
Harry: I can agree, heâs very good at making everyone around him feel at ease.
Princess: And my favorite thing about Harry is he has this weird way of knowing how you need to be comforted. Like he knows when to just hold your hand, when to pull you in for a hug or just when you grab you and hold you. Itâs lovely.
Niall: Ah yeah dis is so true. Always tryin ta hug me.
Harry: Well I donât see you fighting me off.
Niall: Oi yer arse didnât answer what yer fave things are bout us, do ya not have one?
Harry: I love Niallâs sense of humor, we both have the same type of lame humor and laugh at the stupidest stuff. My favorite thing about Princess is probably how she just gets me and lets me be me.
Princess: *sniffles* Can we move on?
Niall: Way ta go got er all watery eyed now.
Harry: Iâm not the one who asked the question! I just answered it. You got her all emotional too you knob.
Q: Have you written any songs about your friendship?
Niall: Yeah Harry have we?
Harry: *rolls eyes* yes.
Princess: Go on, just tell them.
Niall: Yeah H jus tell em. Get it off yer chest.
Harry: Youâre in such a mood today. Fine. I wrote meet me in the hallway about when Princess and I had a fight.
Niall: And...
Harry: I wrote Adore You with her in mind about her effect on the people around her. That she has no clue she has.
Princess: What about you Niall?
Harry: Yes hobbit what about you hmmm?
Niall: I wrote the Tide while thinking about her when she was datin that one arsehole.
Harry: And?
Niall: Fine you arse I also wrote Mirrors about her as well.
Harry: Oh and if youâre wondering about One Direction songs the main one we wrote about our friendship is Drag Me Down.
Niall: Sâpretty obvious though, sâfo her and da whole fandom really.
Princess: That is my hype song. So damn good.
Q: Whatâs a memory the three of you cherish?
Princess: Oh thatâs a good one!
Niall: Sâgotta be when we all went ta Cabo fo a week like three years ago and we jus laid in the sun by the beach all day and got drunk off wine at night an it was one of tha most relaxing vacations Iâve ever had.
Harry: That was a great trip.
Princess: Mine is when we had our first sleepover at my tiny ass New York apartment. When we did face masks and ended up passing out on my bed watching Will and Grace. I think that next morning is when I really realized you two were going to literally be my humans forever.
Harry: Oh the good ole days of our sleepovers and trying to squeeze onto your loveseat. Mine is the time when Niall and I had to go get you from the bar when you got too drunk on a Monday night.
Princess: Thatâs your most cherished memory? Really?
Harry: Yes, because that was the first time you ever used us as your like emergency contact and the first time we had to come save you. You werenât super wasted, Niall and I just had to make sure you got home safe and it was nice because you kept telling us how much you loved us.
Niall: Now we always gotta come save er, member that one time we had ta crash her date wit dat golf dude?
Princess: Oh god
Harry: That was fun! He was a proper dick.
Princess: Next question?
Q: This is the last one, who said I love you first out of the three of you?
Princess: It was Niall
Harry: I know everyone is gonna be shocked to hear it wasnât me.
Niall: I mean yeah it was me. Mânot ashamed of it. I was tellin P bye and was like love ya and she said love you too Ni and then Harry got all mushy an was like, what did ya say H?
Princess: He said and I quote âif we are saying we love each other I want to be involved because I love you too!â
Harry: Sounds about right.
Niall: That was like what three months into the friendship?
Harry: Yeah five or take a few weeks.
Princess: Now we say it all the time!
Harry: So thatâs it then yeah?
Interviewer: Yeah thatâs it! Thank you so much for your time this was so fun.
Niall: It was fun gettin ta hear what people wanna know bout the three of us. Hope it wasnât borin.
Princess: Us boring? Never.

Masterlist.
The books over the table with a lot of notes scattered around them are starting to give you a horrible headache. You don't know how many hours you have been studying, but you're sure that it was daytime. When you focus your gaze on the horizon, through the window, you're aware of the streetlights turned on outside and the dark sky above Santo Padre. It's your final week to complete the MIR and you have left just one exam. The last one. So, when Creeper told you he was going to travel to Las Vegas for a couple days, you have to recognize that you felt a little alleviated. You want to spend the maximum time possible with him, but you also have to study, but both things aren't compatible. Even so, he should be at home already.
Checking the time on the clock in your wrist, you snort getting up from your chair to pick up the books and your pens. It's enough study for today and you're really hungry. After cleaning the table, you fall down on the sofa turning on the TV and looking in your phone for something to take away. Cooking it's not an option today. Choosing the local pizzeria for excellence, you're about to make the order when an incoming call interrupts your plans. Reading his name on the screen, you answer quickly.
âBabe!â
âMaaaaamaaaaâ. He sings, making you frown somewhat confused sitting on the sofa. âHeeeeey, maaaamaaaaâ.
âAre you⊠high, Neron?â
âYeah⊠Fuckin' high⊠for you, my looooveâ.
âWhat the hell? Where the fuck are you?â
âMama, I want you here. I need you here, maaaama!â
âNerââ.
âI am⊠closeâ.
âClose from what?â
âBorder, mama. Close to the border. Come with meeee. I need my nurse, mama, pleaaaseâ.
âAre you okay? What happened?â Your heart is racing, jumping off from the sofa, running to your shared room.
âA guy shot me, mama. But don' worre', I'm okaaaayâ.
âNeron, send me your location right now!â
âMama, mama, mama, are you comen'?â
âFUCK, NERON, OF COURSE I'M COMING. SEND ME THE FUCKING LOCATIONâ.
âDon'... Don' shout at me, mamaâ.
From nowhere, you can hear him crying like a child. Even if he's high, that shit breaks your heart into pieces. Stopping next to your bed rubbing your forehead, barely gulping, you try to calm yourself.
âAre you alone?â
âNâNoâŠâ
âThe bulââ.
âIt's out, mama⊠I wanâwant you here with me. I'm okay, mama, I'm okay⊠Come with me. Don'... leave me, don' break with me, mama, pleaseâ.
âSend me your location, okay? Could you do that for me?â
âYeah, mama⊠Are you comen'?â
âSĂ, Neron, I'm gonna get dressed, okay?â
âOkay, mama⊠I love you. I love you, mama. I truly love you, I swearâ.
âI know, mi flaquitoâ.
Hanging up the call, you take some second to breathe calmly before looking for some clothes to put on and grabbing the medical kit when you're ready. They better have something to eat, or there will be more than one man shot. Leaving your house, your phone rings with a notification. The address of Vicki's house. You have heard about it, and you're not surprised at all. According to your boyfriend, this is the favorite place of Mayans. You don't know them, not yet, but you can imagine why they like it this much. Keeping the kit on the back seat, you step in your car turning the engine to follow the instructions recited by the gps.
When it says that you have reached your destiny, you focus through the Camaro's front window to find the house, looking exactly as he described you one day. Going out of the pilot seat and carrying the medical stuff in your right hand, you go upstairs practically jumping them to hit the door with your palm. A girl with brown hair, big eyes and almost naked welcomes you, pushing her by a side before she can talk.
âHey, hey! Wait! You caââ.
Coming into the living room, you finally meet his other family. They were drinking and laughing until you appeared, now staring at you confused. The one who you recognize as El Presidente gets up from his chair, the other two are pointing at you with their guns, warned by the bitch behind you.
âI'm from Tijuana, you can't scare me con una pistolitaâ. (With a gun). You spit with a strong mexican accent, containing a sarcastic laugh.
âWho are yââ.
âMAAAMI, MAAAAMIIIIIIIIâ.
Hearing your boyfriend calling you, you don't give them a single chance to let you introduce yourself, running upstairs following the laments of Creeper between moans and pleased begs. Disgusting. Opening the last green red door, you finally reach him. The medical kit falls from your hand shocked. Taking a step, you tour his silhouette lying on the mattress. Being shirtless you can see the bandage covering the bullet hole, with some blood trespassing the cotton, and the sling holding the other. His face isn't much better, with some scratches on his left cheek and his temple. The most disturbing is watching him crying like a scared child, trembling and trying to sit up on the bed.
Before the other mexicans can reach you, you're already kneeling on the bed not knowing where you're allowed to touch him and where not.
âMami, I missed youâ.
âYou're an idiot, you know it, rai'?â You ask him with your eyes filled with tears, gently caressing the other cheek, while he nods.
Leaning forward you kiss his shaky lips once and again, before feeling his right arm surrounding your waist.
âLet me see the shot, okay?â Whispering, you get up from the bed to take the medical kit, under the look of the men waiting on the door.
âThe doctor put it out, disinfected the wound and stitched it upâ. El Presidente says, making you frown your eyebrows.
âThe doctor, or the vet?â
âWhaââ.
âAnswer before I fucking punch youâ.
âThe vetâ.
Of course, it's not the same. Even the medicines that give you in the MIR are stronger than the ones for a veterinarian. Opening the kit over the bed and wearing a pair of blue gloves, you lean on Creeper to take off the bandage and the gauze, narrowing your eyes to see every stitch on it. It's⊠acceptable, but you could have done it better. Wetting some cotton with iodine, you clean the blood around the suture with soft moves to not hurt him more. Your boyfriend is assorted on how concentrate you look taking care of him.
âDo you know what you are doing, niña?â The oldest one rests his body against the frame.
â'Amma real doctor, not a veterinarianâ. You respond without turning at him, but at your kit to find clean gauzes and an adhesive bandage to cover the sewn hole again. âWhat happened with the other, Neron?â
âDislocatedâ. He just says gulping with parted lips.
âWhat did they gave you for the pain?â
âJust some pills, mamiâŠâ
âHow many hours ago?â
âAlmost tenâ. El Presidente replies in his place, making you twist towards him.
âOkay, Creep', I'm going to prick you some morphineâ. He just nods.
Grabbing a needle wrapped on a security plastic, you open it to fill it up with the transparent liquid from a small glass bottle. Hitting it softly with two fingers and letting some of the medicine spill on air, you lead the needle to his bare skin over the wound. Nailing it slowly until the metallic part has disappeared inside it. Then, you push the plastic container until empty. Taking off the needle and keeping it again inside its paper, to throw it later, you close the medical kit.
âYou need to rest, okay?â
âMami, stay with me, please⊠Don' goâ. He begs you crying low and holding your hand as strong as he can.
âYou need to restâ. You repeat raising both eyebrows and nodding with your chin one time, caressing his grip with your fingers. âI will talk with your friends for a moment. Ain't going anywhere, mi flaquito. Not without youâ.
âI love you, mama. I really doâ.
âI love you too, Creep'â. Smirking at your boyfriend, you kiss him again having a little more of caring to not hurt him. âSleep, flaquitoâ.
Placing the medical kit over a desk, you leave him closing the door, killing with your eyes the men in front of you.
âI'm hungry, so you better find me some dinnerâ.
âFirst, tell us who you are, because he's high enough to confuse himself and believe that he's the fucking Messiahâ.
âI'm his girlfriend, pendejo. And you're gonna be a dead man if you don't bring me my fucking dinnerâ.
El Presidente chuckles rubbing his chin, before nodding, seeing you disappear through the opened door again. Coming back to the bed, you can notice that your boyfriend isn't crying anymore, smiling like an idiot. Sighing you lie down by his side, wrapping his body with both arms, letting him find a comfortable posture under them. You can feel his lips kissing your right forearm somewhat sleepy, purring like a cat. Definitely, he's too high.
âMami, I love youâŠâ He whispers when you begin to caress his neck with your fingertips. âYou are the love of my lifeâŠâ
âYeah, you already said it⊠like a lot of timesâ. You laugh softly, turning towards you with a soft grimace of pain on his face.
âLove you it's my favorite thingâ. He mumbles stunned because of the smile on your lips.
âMine too, babe. I love you more than anythingâ.

Prompt: Emily gets drunk and comes back to the school and she voices her love for all of them and wonât stop hugging bby Reid. Can u imagine the CUTENESS. I cry your au makes me so happy
so I LOVE this prompt. and also my darling @criminalmindsgonewrong needed something fun with Emily. So I hope you like this!!
featuring Hotchâs secret weakness, children learning profanity and Alexâs âI mean businessâ ponytail
----------
âHey, guys?â Dave called up the stairs. âI just want everyone to know that none of this is my fault. In fact, I should be considered a hero.â
Hotch, James, and Alex raised their heads slowly from their respective homework. âWhat the fuck is happening?â James whispered.
âLanguage,â Hotch whispered, nodding towards the younger kids piled in front of the TV.
âI say âfuckâ all the time, Hotch,â Derek said, only half paying attention.
Something heavy thumped on the stairs and a high pitched giggle floated up. Alex closed her Russian dictionary. âIf Rossi is bringing another new girlfriend in here, I swear to godâŠâ
Emily stumbled to the top of the stairs and flung her arms in the air like a gymnast landing a vault. âI made it!â she cheered.
Dave climbed up behind her. âListen, I only lost her for like two seconds,â he said.Â
âOh, no,â James said. âYou didnât.â
âDid what?â JJ asked.
âYeah, did what?â Penelope echoed.Â
Emily grinned. âWe went to a party!â she said. âAnd there was a tequila!â
Hotch slowly turned to glare at Dave. âItâs a school night, and you took Emily to a party?â he asked.
Dave shrugged helplessly. âShe was very persuasive,â he said.Â
âVery, very persuasive,â Emily nodded.
Alex rested her chin in her hand. âShe told you a certain girl was going to be there, didnât she?â she said.
âIâm very persuasive,â Emily repeated. She threw her arms around Alexâs neck. âLemme...lemme braid your hair.â
âNo, no, not this time,â Alex said, peeling her hands away. âOh, Iâm not excited about sharing a room with you tonight once this starts to wear off..âÂ
Emily smiled dreamily and raked her fingers through Alexâs hair. âItâs so red,â she mumbled. Alex sighed and dropped her chin in her hand again.Â
Penelope and JJ leaned over the back of the couch to watch. âDo you think sheâll throw up this time?â Penelope asked.
âOh, absolutely,â JJ said. âAt least twice.â
Spencer looked up from his book. âMake her drink V8 again, that worked last time,â he said.
âEmily, weâve been over this,â Hotch said. âYou can get in serious trouble if youâre caught drunk on campus.â
âOh, shit, no,â she whined. She fumbled in her pockets. âI can...I gotâŠâ
âDonât show me your credit cards again.â
âMy credit cards!â she said, waving her wallet at him. âIâll...I can...yeah, Iâll give âem money and itâll be fine.â
âNo, it wonât be,â Hotch said patiently.Â
Emily scowled and stumbled over to him. âMr. Hotchner,â she said. âMr. Hotchner, you gotta...why donât you fuckinâ smile, dude?â
Derek burst out laughing; she whipped around and shook her finger at him. âThis is a serious question!â she said. âI...I know you can smile.â
Hotch grimaced at her. âThere,â he said. âNow can you please pour yourself back into your dorm room and sleep this off?âÂ
Emily frowned, plunking down on his lap. âYou need to smile,â she said. She grabbed at his face and pulled at his cheeks. âItâs...itâs in there somewhere.â
âEmily, please,â Hotch said, pained, as her thumb came perilously close to jabbing up his nose.
âNo, keep going, I wanna see what happens,â Penelope said.
Emilyâs frown deepened. âWhy wonât you smile?â she demanded.
âSee if you can initiate gargalesis,â Spencer suggested.
âThe fuck you say to me, nerd baby?â Emily said.
Spencer scowled. âTickle him.â
Emily brightened. James immediately got up, gathering his homework. âThis is going to end horribly,â he said. âOh god. Oh, god.â
âHeâs not smiling!â Emily said, digging her fingers in Hotchâs sides.
Hotch pressed his mouth together, firmly stoic. âStop trying to tickle me,â he said. âYou need to sober up, and Iâm not ticklish, so-â
âDonât ask me how I know this. Back of the knees,â Alex said.
Hotchâs mouth dropped open. âHow did you-â he started to say, but Emily lunged for his knees, and he burst out laughing, trying to wrestle her off his lap. âGod! Emily! Stop! Stop, you got me to smile, okay, Iâm smiling!â
She tumbled to the floor and scrambled to her feet unsteadily, screeching with laughter. âI did it!â she said. âAha! I knew you could...could fuckinâ smile.â
Penelope held up her phone. âI canât wait to show this to her tomorrow,â she said.Â
Emily staggered over to her. âYou are so cute,â she said. She dropped her hands on JJ and Penelopeâs head. âTwo just...cute little princesses.â
âOh, sheâs really gone this time,â JJ said. She gently pried Emilyâs hand off her head. âEmily, you should take it easy.â
âI can get you some snacks,â Penelope offered as Emily tangled her hand in her hair, giggling as the pompoms tied to her ponytail bounced. âSome nice saltines, maybe? A piece of dry bread? Something to soak up the alcohol in your bloodstream.â
âHey, she hasnât called me âcuteâ yet, thatâs how weâll know sheâs real bad,â Derek said.
Emily let go of Penelopeâs hair. âBut you are cute,â she said. âSo...so fucking cute. You guys are all just...fucking babies and I love...all of you.â
âIâm only a year younger than you,â Derek said dryly. âSpencerâs the baby.â
âHey!â Spencer protested. âIâm very mature for my age!â
Emily stumbled over to him, leaning over the side of the couch, and swooped him up in a snuggle. âYou are a baby!â she said. âJust the babyest...fuckinâ baby.â
âYou smell like hand sanitizer,â Spencer complained, squirming in her grip as she smacked kisses on his cheeks. âAnd Iâm not a baby! Guys! Câmon, help me!â
âIâm not taking the risk,â Hotch said flatly. âNow that someone decided to blab.â Alex shrugged.
âDerek!â Spencer said, trying to wriggle away from Emilyâs octopus-like hug.
âNah, man, Iâm not gonna take the risk either,â Derek said.
âOoh! Try to initiate...gargling. Gargantuan. Gar...what was it again?â Penelope said.
Spencer scrunched up his face. âGargalesis?â he said. Emily grinned and started tickling his ribs. âNoooo! Emily, no, stop tickling me!â He shrieked with laughter, kicking his legs at her and in an attempt to twist free.Â
âEmily, stop torturing Spencer, heâs going to pee himself,â JJ said.
âNo, I wonât!â
âEmily, you gotta stop, he has to breathe.â
âWhat?â Emily said, momentarily distracted, and Spencer tumbled off the couch and beelined to the table to duck behind Hotch and Alex.Â
âEmily, youâve got to chill,â Dave said. âWe donât want a repeat of what happened after homecoming.â
âWhat happened at homecoming?â Hotch asked, eyes narrowing as Spencer climbed onto his lap.
âNothing,â Dave said quickly. Emily scowled and started scolding him in Italian; he shot back, waving his hands.
âWhatâs happening?â Derek asked. âWhat are we missing?â
âProfanity, mostly,â Alex said.
âYeah, and you guys didnât want me to learn how to say âfuckâ,â Spencer said. Hotch covered his ears.Â
Emily halted midsentence, holding out her hands. âWait...waitâŠâ she said.
JJ drew back. âOh, sheâs gonna hurl,â she said.
âFalse alarm,â Emily said. âWeâre good. Weâre good, everybody.â
Alex got up from the table and tied her hair back into a ponytail, snapping the elastic with resigned determination. âAll right, Prentiss, say goodnight to everybody,â she said. âWeâre going back to our dorm, and youâre going to sober up.â
Emily pouted and whined in Italian; Alex rattled something back and Emily sighed heavily. âOkay, okay, take me away,â she said. âBye, everybody, love you.â
âBye, Emily,â they chorused.
They didnât see her again until breakfast the next morning; Emily sat with her head down on the table and a glass of tomato juice at her elbow. âSo I take it things went well?â Dave said.
âOh, Iâm fine,â Alex said. âMiss Prentiss over hereâŠâ
âShut up,â Emily mumbled into her folded arms. âShut up, shut up, shut upâŠâ
âHave we learned an important lesson?â Hotch asked.
Emily raised her head. Her eyes were still smeared with last nightâs makeup. âThat your ticklish spot is under your knees?â she said.Â
Hotchâs ears turned red. âNo, hopefully you learned a lesson about getting drunk on a school night,â he said. âOr, better yet, youâve learned to not get drunk because youâre underage and itâs bad for your health.â
âAw, come on, chief,â she said. She mimed finger guns at him. âGimme a week, Iâll forget all about this.â
âOh! I can help with that,â Penelope said. She handed her phone to Derek, who passed it to JJ, who propped it up in front of Emily. âHereâs the video! Maybe this will help remind you.â
Emily went pale. âOh, cazzo,â she mumbled.
âThat basically means âfuckâ!â Spencer announced.

Hey if your comfortable can you write a fic where Bakugou Katsuki has to deal with the consequences of overeating?
Sure! Normally I would stick with my OCs but I love MHA so Iâll take any chance to write them haha
I wrote Deku as the caretaker so I hope thatâs okay :))
cw: excessive swearing, like a lot; minor nausea
âââ
âThat fucking sleepy-ass caterpillar and his fucking rules,â Bakugou grumbles, shoving curry into his mouth. Itâs, of course, scalding hot and so spicy it would completely annihilate a normal personâs tastebuds. To Bakugou, itâs mildly seasoned. ââDonât blow people up!â Shut the fuck up, I do what I want. If I wanna blast Grape Juice to pieces, Iâll fucking do it.â
The others can vaguely hear his obscene ranting from their rooms, all having decided it would be smart not to interfere in their shared kitchen while heâs in one of his moods. Kirishima and Kaminari wallow morosely in their beds. The Gatoradeâs in the fridge and neither of them are willing to brave Bakugou Katsukiâs storm in order to reach it.
Bakugou gets up to refill his bowl again from the big pot on the stove and feels his stomach lurch in tandem with the ladle scraping against the bottom of the pot. He mustâve eaten it all in a rage without noticing.
He looks down at his usually toned belly and finds it protruding slightly, pushing against the waistband of his sweats. He groans at the realization that heâs definitely going to be having a pretty bad stomach ache soon. The harsh, spicy chili peppers donât taste like much to him, but they still really fuck with his organs if taken in large doses. This definitely counts as a âlarge dose.â
Bakugou decides to head upstairs to his room but the moment he takes a step a dizzying wave of lightheadedness fills his skull with static and he drops heavily into the nearest chair, blinking against the colorful spots assaulting his vision.
The only sensation he can focus on is the sudden wrenching pain swirling through his bellyâa sort of irritated churning like somethingâs gnawing at his stomach lining. He places a hesitant palm on his stomach, lightly rubbing up and down his middle, but the touch is completely overshadowed by the hot ache creeping through every inch of his tummy. He knows if he presses harder it will stir up all the curry and incite another dizzying spell of pain. Itâs really a lose-lose situation all the way around.
Oh, God, he really wishes he hadnât eaten so much. The curry was so thick and heavy, too, filled with chunks of chewy, rich meat and alarmingly flavorful spices. Of all the things to accidentally gorge yourself on, that might just be one of the worst. Bakugou grits his teeth and rises to his feet, a hand cradling the side of his distended gut. The soupy food sloshes in a wave of heat and laps painfully at the sides of his stomach.
The heavy food rolls and twists like an agonizing rollercoaster in his belly as he walks up the stairs to his room. A low, twisting grumble squeezes through the tightest part of his tummy as he pushes open the door, and he presses a hand in over the spasming, tense spot as he near collapses onto his bed with a heavy groan.
Bakugou shifts until heâs lying flat on his back, knees drawn up slightly, and grunts at the heavy weight of his belly. He rubs gentle circles into the tight sides of his bloated stomach. The food stretches and pushes at the taut surface of his belly. Angry, harsh gurgles accompany the incessant turning and contorting.
âThis is so fucking shitty,â Bakugou grumbles, anger levels rising. As his emotions peak and sway dangerously, so does his belly as the distress further mangles his seething guts.
The rubbing seems to be hurting more than helping so he quits while heâs ahead and instead simply rests both hands atop the aching crest, trying desperately to breathe through the steadily intensifying pain.
He props himself up on an elbow, teeth clenched, and forces himself into a sitting position, bracing his hands against his knees as something forcefully stabs deep in his belly. He just needs to reach the fucking heating pad. Thatâs it.
Bakugou places a hand against the wall and stands all at once. He gasps immediately as the curdling food tries to squeeze its way up his constricting throat. He gulps back the heavy mouthfuls of saliva warning him heâs moments away from getting sick all over his bedroom floor. He closes his eyes and leans heavily against the wall, moaning low in his throat as his stomach seizes and clenches with nauseating ferocity.
âFucking fuck,â he mutters before pushing off the wall and grabbing the heating pad off his shelf in a single fluid motion. He usually uses it when heâs sore from training, but it should do the trick.
He plugs it into the socket at the foot of his bed and gingerly lies back down. He rests the heating pad over his rumbling upper belly where the brunt of the food seems to have collected, stubbornly refusing to properly digest. The low heat pulses in his convulsing muscles, somewhat easing the fitful cramps.
He closes his eyes, a pained crease still permanently etched between his brows, and rests his hands over his chest, trying to doze off and sleep away the worst of the stomach ache.
He sighs deeply after ten minutes pass and the throbbing, cramping sensation doesnât seem to be letting up. Heâs just about ready to yell fuck it and call his fucking mom or something like a loser extra when he hears a soft knock at his door.
He sits up with a grunt, muffling a string of his trademark curses. âWhat do you want?â If itâs one of those fucking extras trying to get me to cook them something...
âUm... n-nothing? Just to talk to you...â
Bakugou frowns. Itâs the fucking nerd. âGo the fuck away, Deku.â
Deku sighs lengthily and Bakugou hears him lean his weight against the door. âPlease, Kacchan?â
Bakugou contemplates for a moment. Heâs in a lot of pain and the thought of having to deal with people is disgusting. But... Deku isnât really people, is he? And, though he loathes to admit it, a little company right now would be nice.
He stands up with a heaving sigh and unlocks the door. Deku stumbles in, cheeks as pink as ever and hair a mess. He looks up, opens his mouth as if to say something, closes it, then opens it again. âKacchan, you look horrible.â
Bakugou scowls, sitting down on the bed and discreetly palming his stomach. The contents spin and whirl inside of him, traveling up and down his stomach in dizzying circles in their effort to find a way out. âFuckinâ thanks, Deku.â
Dekuâs face goes bright red as he begins to wave his hands around in front of him in a panic. âNo! Thatâs not what I meant. I just meant you look... sick maybe?â
Bakugou lazily flicks his gaze towards the furiously blushing boy. âWhy are you here?â
Deku sits down beside him. âI just wanted to check up on you. You seemed pretty frustrated earlier.â
âShut the fuck up,â Bakugou snarls.
Deku, in an uncharacteristic show of exasperation, rolls his eyes. âReally, Kacchan?â
Bakugou moves to retort but a fresh cramp suddenly spreads tight across his lower stomach, blooming with harsh pain, and what comes out instead is a strained gasp.
Dekuâs eyes go wide and he instantly reaches a hand out and gently places it on Bakugouâs shoulder. Bakugou hates that he... doesnât mind the comforting warmth.
âIâm fucking fine, Deku,â Bakugou grits out, wrapping an arm tight around his painfully bloated belly.
âI never said you werenât,â Deku says with infuriating calm. âBut, of course, I canât help if thereâs nothing wrong.â
âAnd who says you could help in the first place?â
Deku just stares at him.
Bakugou sighs and, face burning, mutters, âMy stomach hurts.â
Dekuâs face softens as he drags a hand up Bakugouâs trembling back. âWhy donât you lie down? Do you want me to go get you some tea?â
Bakugou does lie down, though only to hide the humiliating glistening to his eyes at Dekuâs painfully gentle voice. Fucking Deku.
âIâll puke all over you if I drink anything, Deku,â Bakugou forces out, voice scratchy and hoarse. His organs spasm and squeeze as the curry curdles through them in an agonizingly slow manner. A small portion of the thick substance empties into his intestines and keeling, liquidly gurgles begin to burble with nauseating intensity from his cramping insides.
Deku smooths down the waistband of Bakugouâs sweatpants and his newly freed belly curves out over his hips, intensely bloated. Bakugou groans softly as Deku rubs a light circle into the center of his distended middle with his fingertips.Â
He presses his palm in over a heavy gurgle and the heady warmth soothes the rapidly twitching muscles. Bakugou sags a bit with relief as Deku shifts the heel of his palm in and up and a low belch rumbles out of him. His tummy softens a bit at the release of air and Dekuâs hand dips further down into the soft flesh of his stomach.
Deku continues to massage at the fullness with a pressure thatâs almost agonizing in its gentleness. He coaxes up a few more relieving belches and works away the cramps with a heavy slide of his palm.
By the time heâs done, Bakugouâs eyes have slipped shut and his breaths have gone slightly shudderyâbroken up by the occasional sigh as something begins to digest properly.Â
Deku finishes with one last gentle circle at the base of the fading swell and Bakugou practically purrs. Heâs too out of it to focus on the fact that heâs going to fucking hate himself for this in the morning. Oh, well.

No. Who did you last see on webcam? The doctor that overlooks my TMS progress. Do you need a haircut? I need a trim for sure. How would you react if your mother told you that she was pregnant again? Well, considering 1.) she's way past menopause and especially 2.) she's had a complete hysterectomy, y'know... that's kind of impossible. She also hasn't been with a guy in many years, so she would have to be joking. You log into Facebook and see the red â1â notification next to the message icon. Who do you want it to be? -___- Would you rather exercise alone or with other people? ALONE. You will NOT see me exercise in front of other people. What is the most difficult or involved video game youâve ever played? I used to love it, but just stopped watching eventually. My fave episode... Man, it's been too long to remember many. Probably one of the funnier ones. ESPECIALLY at my age. What are some stereotypically nerdy things that you like? Oh god. WoW, M:tG, big glasses, anime (does that count? idk really), video games... a lot of stuff, really. Have you ever attended a wedding that ended where the bride and groom didnât actually get married? What happened? Y I K E S, no. That would be SO uncomf. What scares you the most about becoming a mother (hypothetically, if you donât want to have children)? Actually raising it properly, physically and emotionally. Would you ever want a job in fashion? What would you enjoy about that type of job? No. Would you ever be a surrogate mother? No. What do you think would be the best and worst parts about being a twin? It'd be cool to have someone you feel an almost supernatural connection towards, but I'd also feel like I wasn't as "original" as I would be if I was born alone. Do you feel that your childhood was more rough compared to others around you? I mean it wasn't awful at all, but sure, in some ways compared to at least someone. How would you react if you found out today that you were actually adopted? Well today I'm a wreck, so don't tell me. I want to know that I wasn't lied to for 25 years. Have either of your parents ever cheated on one another before, that you know of? How would you react if you found out today that one of them cheated? I'm not entirely clear on this, but I'm 90% sure Dad cheated on Mom with his now-wife. Dad also accused Mom of cheating, but I HIGHLY doubt that's true. Do you like cleaning and organizing? Not really. How would you react if you found out you were infertile? If you donât plan on having kids to begin with, what is a long-term goal youâd be crushed to find out was impossible to achieve? Fuck having kids. I'd be a terrible mother. So to answer the other question, I'll be pretty, pretty sad if I can't get permission to spread Teddy's ashes at Yellowstone. Would you take your dream job if it were out of the country? Well, obviously not considering my dream job is a meerkat biologist, and I'm not moving to Africa. Have you ever been robbed? No. Is anyone close to you an alcoholic? Not anymore. Dad was, but he's recovered. Have you ever dumped anyone? Yes. What kind of tea do you drink? I hate tea. Do you know anyone in a gang? No, and I hope I never do. Whatâs the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for you? Risk his fucking sanity and health to try to hold my fucked up self up. What is your orientation? Gay? Straight? The future is terrifying, my friend. The last thing you looked up online: The definition of a word to ensure I was using it correctly. The last thing you disagreed with: So I've been watching John Wolfe's old stream of him playing Alice: Madness Returns, and he went on a total soapbox about smoking being okay essentially because we're all gonna die eventually from something, and I really disagreed with it. Does your house have a separate laundry room? No, just like a closet. Do your parents still help you financially? I'm still entirely dependent on them. Does your car have a backup camera? No. Have either of your parents ever been in trouble with the law? Not to my knowledge. Have you ever had a pet that lived to be really old for its breed/species? REALLY old, no. No. How much time do you spend on Facebook, if you have one? Funny you ask, because as of today I decided to take a break from it for awhile. I've found it's nothing more than a breeding ground for envy and making me feel like a horribly incompetent adult. Has a teacher ever made you hate yourself/your work? I had one photography teacher in college that I was NOT a fan of. He was super, super hard on everyone, like to an unnecessary degree. We were students, not pros. Have you ever been on the barrier or front row at a concert? No. Are your parents supportive of you? Somehow.

[Bakugou Katsuki X Fem!Reader]
[Warnings: swearing, angst and fluff ]
[I own none of the characters or art, I did make
the edit tho]
-
You were woken up by the restlessness of your husband, Katsuki Bakugo. He was having a nightmare again, his brows were furrowed and his face pulled into a scowl, sweat dripping down his brow.
It wasn't a common occurrence, but lately it's been happening more and more...
It was worrying.
You sat up, reaching over to touch his cheek softly, but he ended up waking up, grabbing your hand and pushing you down against the mattress his hand barely inches from your face, he looked like he was about to set off his quirk, his eyes like a wild animal.
He almost choked, his hands slowly let go of you, when he tried moving off you held him there looking up at him with complete and utter worry in your expression.
"Baby... fuck I'm sorry I-..."
"Hey hey, it's okay." You said a hand taking hold of his.
"Just breath Suki... breath." You said and he did but his head lowered as you sat up allowing him to bury his face in your chest, your fingers threading through his hair to ease his worries even if it was for a moment.
"Was it the same nightmare...?" You asked quietly.
"Yeah..." his voice cracked.
Oh that nightmare... gods that nightmare that he probably relived over and over again.
When he was kidnapped during the training camps.
Honestly you had both sat down to speak about it, he was reluctant at first but you coaxed him into telling you about it.
You were one of the first people he told his worries to, that fear that engulfed him sometimes when he closed his eyes.
The strain of Dabi's hand gripping his neck or the chains that held him down when they didn't want him to cause any destruction.
He told you how he wasn't sleeping properly for a few nights because of the kidnapping replaying over and over in his head, but he kept pushing anyone away that asked about his mental state, kept saying
"I'm fine fuck off."
Or
"Fuck off, it's none of your fuckin' business."
He was too afraid to open up, he didn't want to seem weak, because of that horrible ego of his.
Midoriya apparently was another that found out, Katsuki felt off and Midoriya wasted no time in finding out. The green haired pro hero was happy that Katsuki opened up to him.
Katsuki did it apparently because he didn't want to stress you out too much.
Or so Midoriya told you.
"It's okay baby... it's over. You're okay, you're here with me..." you mumbled kissing his forehead.
"I felt so weak..." he mumbled against your skin.
"And that's okay... it's okay to feel weak, it's okay to feel powerless and afraid... those are just normal things to feel... but you're safe and sound in my arms..." you whispered as your hands cupped his cheeks making those sad eyes look at you.
"I don't fuckin' deserve you..." he mumbled.
"Yes you do, you're an idiot if you think otherwise. I love you so much Katsuki and I'm thankful that you're here with me... okay?" You said.
"I love you too..." he mumbled back kissing your lips softly before you pulled back slightly.
"Now let's get some sleep okay?" You said and he gave a slow nod, allowing you to lay down before his head rested on your chest more snugly now, using your breasts as pillows.
You chuckled a little as you played with his hair to help him fall asleep.
As bad as those dreams got, he often found comfort in your arms.
But you wanted him to get the help he needed, you knew he hated the idea but it was necessary for him to overcome this obstacle and you would be with him throughout the entire thing...
-
-
[Ayyy it's some angst. A few people have said that Katsuki didn't have the right help or positive reinforcement for after he got kidnapped by lov, so I imagine it follows him throughout his life. It became a bit soft at the end too, this is somewhat of a late happy birthday to our poor gremlin boi]
[Also please take your meds, drink water, take a shower, wash your hands, don't go out if you don't need to.
Kay love yaâ€đ€.

Scars: Year five, Chapter five
Remus Lupin x ReaderÂ
Warnings: Swearing, yelling, fighting, shoving,Â
" Y/n, Y/n, Y/n, Y/-'
" What James?"
Her voice came out sounding irritated and annoyed as her face showed the same emotions while glaring halfheartedly at the other boy in the room.
James looked down, slowly twirling the quill in his hand and pursed his lips lightly in a nervously pronounced way. Then, he looked up at her, cheekily pushing his glasses higher up on the bridge of his nose.
" Well, since Sirius and Remus are in detention and Peter's out getting sweets, I was wondering if you'd like to do something other than homework... maybe one of the things we used to do together?"
His voice came out hesitant, as if he expected her to get angered at the suggestion. Of course they'd only just reconnected with Y/n and still did openly expect her to get mad easily. Y/n felt a twang of guilt string at her heart and James immediately saw the sorrowful look on her face. The girl coughed into her fist and glanced back up to James, beginning to put her papers away.
" Yeah, of- of course James. Just give me a minute to and we can do something."
" It's been a while since we composed, d'ya wanna try that again?"
Y/n timidly looked up and nodded, subconsciously pulling her black cloak tighter around her shoulders. James let out a sigh and started to collect the papers and materials needed for them to write.
Y/n watched as the boy bent over and started to rifle through his trunk and watched as he paused and stopped his actions.
" What happened to you Y/n? What, what made you stop, why did you change? It might not' even been much to you but to us it was like ripping our hearts out Y/n."
The boy turned around to look at her and the girls heart broke.
James looked in her eyes and his face was filled with pain, he was on the brink of tears.
" Do you even know what that feels like Y/n?"
He had to pause and compose himself before continuing.
" Do you even know how it feels for your best friend, your Godamn family, to just walk by one day and decide that you're not good enough? For them to just look at you and say enough with this? It feels like hell Y/n! IT FEELS LIKE BLOODY DAMN HELL Y/N!"
" I KNOW JAMES! Do you even stop and think about how I felt when my dad left? Do you even stop and think about how hard having to do that was on me too? Did you even begin to suspect that I did that for you guys' safety?!"
By that time Y/n had gotten to her feet and had been standing nearly a foot away from James.
" NO I DIDN'T Y/N BECAUSE YOU PUSHED US AWAY AND DIDN'T TELL HIS BLOODY SHIT!"
James pulled his arms up and shoved Y/n back, pushing her to the floor where she scrambled to her feet, moving back towards James. The teenager before her was fuming, absolutely fuming. So when Y/n came back near him, James in his anger-clouded state of mind's first thought was to shove her backwards into a dresser.
" So excuse me if I don't immediately recognize that you pushed us away for our 'safety' when all you did was break our hearts."
The boy stood over the girl as she lay on the ground and scoffed. James began to wait for her to get back up.
Y/n always got back up. She was just that kind of person, immediately rebounding in a fight.
The seconds that had passed turned into minutes and soon James found himself kneeling next to her limp form beside his bed, gently shaking her shoulders.
" Y/n?"
The boy lightly shook her again and worry quickly spread his mind along with horrible, horrible thoughts.
" Y/n, Y/n stop playing with me and get up."
The boy found himself moments later fruitlessly shaking her limp body, tears clouding his vision as he lay begging for her to wake up and tell him it was a prank.
The boy sunk back onto his foot and gently wrapped his right arm under her waist, pulling her body into a sitting position to see the top of her head and his dresser stained with blood.
" James what happened?"
He turned to see Sirius and Remus standing in the rooms doorway and moved his mouth, attempting to find words.
His attempt was unsuccessful.
Sirius took a careful step into the dormitory, as if expecting the girl to jump up and say surprise. After sensing that she wouldn't be doing anything of the sort Sirius came closer to the two and knelt next to James, taking Y/n in his arms and lightly turning her body over. The boy looked at the blood on her head and on James' hand and, his mind still trying to confirm what was happening, he turned and looked at Remus; his words coming out soft as if someone else had spoken them.
" There's blood.... James why, why's there blood on your hands? Why, why's her head bleeding?"
Remus, still standing frozen in the doorway, kept his eyes trained on Y/n as he stated, his voice quiet and full of subtle anger, " You pushed her."
James, still in shock of the situation sunk back down on his knees and his face fell blank of emotion, " I can't believe I pushed her..."
Sirius, still moving the girls body into his arms, looked over at James. " You pushed Y/n? Into a sharp-edged dresser?"
Remus walked further into the room and stood directly infront of James, his anger masked by a calm that Sirius wasn't ashamed to call psychopathic.
" You shoved Y/n into a dresser. Why did you shove my girlfriend into a dresser James?"
James shook his head and continued to stare at the limp woman by his feet.
" I don't know..."
Immediately Remus snapped, hands coming down to pull James off the floor and against the wall where he held him steadfast by the collar of his shirt.
" Well you better find a reason fast because you just shoved my Bloody-Damn Girlfriend into a Fuckin Dresser and SHE ISNT WAKING UP!"
James's bottom lip trembled and he whimpered out, " I didn't mean to Remus, it was an accident-'
" ACCIDENT MY ASS! HOW WOULD YOU 'ACCIDENTALLY' SHOVE SOMEONE INTO A DRESSER AND KNOCK THEM OUT JAMES?! GIVE ME A WAY TO FUCKING DO THAT!"
Sirius stood up and had to pull Remus away from James by the shoulders before he slammed the boys face into a wall. James' face was grim and he looked on the edge of tears as he sunk down to the floor and braced his arms behind his head.
" I didn't mean to."
His voice was trembling and soon he found himself lowly repeating the phrase as tears fell down his cheeks and Sirius held Y/n.
Remus watched James sob on the floor and went to take Y/n out of Sirius's arms, turning to leave the room with said boy. ________________________________
" Tell me you're lying Madam Pomfrey."
" I'm sorry Mr. Lupin but I simply can't lie to you about this. I'm sorry-'
" NO IT CAN'T BE TRUE!"
The boy quickly turned to Sirius and fisted his shirt, pointing at the matron.
" Tell me it's a lie Sirius. Tell me it's a lie!"
Remus had to be held around the middle to keep from screaming out and Sirius couldn't refrain him from running over next to Y/n's bedside and grasping her hand, his head on her stomach.
" C'mon wake up baby. Wake up for me Y/n."
The boy's voice had been brought up to a crack as his voice was muffled by the tears in his throat. Sirius moved over and wrapped his  arms around Remus's middle, pulling him back to his chest as he sobbed.
His voice sounded so broken, so utterly vulnerable.
" It can't be true Sirius... I need her in my life." ________________________________ *Laughs in high pitched cackle-
I'm just gonna clarify that this is not the end of the book and that Remus isn't gonna run off and kiss some random girl and fall in love again.
This is an x Reader and it will stay that way.
Anyway, I will try to get the next chapter out soon bc if it were me I would hate me for leaving myself in this position on a cliffhanger. _____________________________ Â Drop a vote, drink some water, eat some food and Remember You Are Loved! ^ - ^
