when txt is jealous 😮
pairing: bf!txt x fem!reader
genre: fluff??, angst??
warnings: jealousy, cursing depending on what you count as a curse word
main masterlist
yeonjun
you guys go out for a nice restaurant date and for some reason the waiter is being a little too friendly to you. when he comes to take your order he turns to you with a smile and says "what can I get this pretty lady tonight?" and you think he's just being nice so you say, "I'll have a-"
yeonjun clears his throat really loudly to make sure he is noticed!!! then the waiter turns to him, yeonjun giving him a dirty look and orders for the both of you. after the waiter leaves yeonjun turns to you and says "we are never coming here again."
you just laugh at him and he rolls his eyes but you reassure him and he gets cocky like, "I know I'm so much cuter than him". he's not wrong though.
soobin
you guys go grocery shopping and you enter first while he's looking for parking.
when your looking for your bf's favorite food, bread, the kdrama moment happens when you and some random guy reaches out for the same loaf. y'all turn to each other and laugh awkwardly.
"you can have it, " he gives you the bread and smiles, then is like "I'm new here, by any chance could I get your number, maybe we could be friends!"
suddenly, you felt arms snake around your waist and you look up to see soobin's face. when he tried to look angry it was so cute😭😭.
"sorry but my girlfriend and I have to go." you tried to hold in your laughter, he was sooo cute.
when y'all go to the next aisle, you turn to him and pinch his cheeks, "you're so cute when you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous!" (he's lying)
beomgyu
(yes I'm doing a school scene ok)
one day at school, you got a letter from someone in your locker to meet at the school garden after school so you follow and go.
when you get there there's a guy holding a bouquet of flowers and you definitely know where this is going. you thought it was a known fact that beomgyu was your boyfriend but I guess not. he confesses to you and your thinking of how to tell him you have a boyfriend politely so he's not heartbroken😭.
BUT lucky for you u don't have to, your amazing boyfriend will do it for you.
"sorry she's taken!" and will say it with a BIG smile btw and drag you away.
"how does he not know I'm your perfect, amazing boyfriend."
taehyun
y'all go on a cute walk in the park date 🥰. then taehyun goes to buy ice cream while you walk to a bench to sit down. while walking your clumsy ass tripped on literally nothing and almost fell on your face but before you did you felt someone catch you and pull you up.
you look up to your saviour and see some guy smiling at you (this would be such a cute moment if you didn't have a boyfriend). anyways he asks, "are you ok, I should be the one falling for you." omg.
out of nowhere, taehyun appears with your ice creams giving the guy the DIRTIEST DIRTY LOOK YOU WILL EVER SEE. (I'm sure you know what face I'm talking about right.) ok then he pulls you to him with his strong arm and looks him up and down and says, "my girlfriend is fine thank you."
when your far enough he'll say, "you're too pretty, so many guys look at you when we go out." and you blush really hard oml bro knows how to make you swoon. he's lowkey hot when jealous.
huening kai
when y'all go to a cafe for a date, the cashier is trying a little too hard to use his pick up lines💀.
"do you believe in love at first sight, if not you should try walking by again."
I feel like kai wouldn't confront but make it obvious that he's your boyfriend so he will put and arm around your waist and will give him a side eye. after you guys order then sit down the same guy comes to give you guys your drinks and huening notices and quickly gives you a small kiss on your cheek.
you can't help but laugh as the guy awkwardly puts your drinks down and look at kai's cute satisfies smile.
a/n: can you tell my writing is deteriorating.

I find it very fascinating to watch their behaviors/interaction between JK, JM and V via videos. I can see V's jealousy is clear when JK & JM are close. I suspect V is interested in JM and wanted more. It seems like JK and V are fighting for JM however I think JM's heart belongs to JK and JM like V as a f.r.i.e.n.d. and nothing more. What are your thoughts on this?
Would make for a great kdrama plot😹
Love it.
I won't call what you sense from V jealousy in that sense though that's what most people perceive it as hence the whole romanticization of Vmin.
It's more like feeling left out between his best friend and his partner in crime. None of them are fully his or exclusively his the way they are exclusively attached with each other.
And for a dude with chronic loneliness that was quite depressing I'd imagine. Probably what contributed to it too 💀
The difference is, Jimin is capable of giving him the love that he craves, the nurturing kind of love where he's empathetic considerate thoughtful mindful of how he's words and actions affect him, heal him, cater to him.
Jimin is a highly emotionally intelligent human being so you can understand why. He has a lot of things emotionally in common with Jimin.
However he has a lot of things in common with Jungkook too and he's known Jungkook the longest. Which is also why people mistake that interest in Jk for love and desire.
He wants his own person
The way Jimin is Jungkook's person.
Think of Jimin and Jungkook. If Jimin suddenly started spending most of his time hanging with someone else, sharing inside jokes with them that he didn't know of, dropping that person's name when he and Jimin were supposed to be the best friends, I think us and Jungkook would feel someway about it even if they were just friends. Especially us. We would be so concerned 😟
Similarly if Jungkook started hanging out with someone else, pushing to do lives with them, bragging bout knowing everything about them, acting like that person were his priority Jimin would feel some type of way even as a friend.
Yet when Jikook do that to V we don't see anything wrong with it cos we are so toxic shippers😩😩😩🤣
We only care bout Jikook to hell with any other attachments 🥲
That's how I think V feels most of the time.
He met Jungkook first and was very close to him before JM came into the picture. Yet suddenly Jungkook is more close to Jimin than him. He even had to beg JK to treat him more like a friend than a hyung and yet Jimin was out there crying and complaining Jungkook refused to see him and treat him as a hyung 🥺
Then he and Jimin also went to school together because of their same age and he was supposed to be closest with Jimin, however that's not the case. No matter how close he and Jimin are Jimin and Jungkook are closer than that😩
I think all he's wanted is someone's full attention. Not to share that person with other people. His own close nit tight friend who would prioritize him have their own secret pledge and handshake etc.
I think it's why he says he doesn't want to share his Wooga squad with BTS. He wouldn't even let Suga meet them and Suga complained about that thinking they were more like ghosts.
And if I remember JK used to poke him whenever he said he wanted to do things either on his own or outside the group, he'd ask with who, not with us?
Yet if Jimin had made those comments he would immediately assume JM was talking about doing those things him- and he would be right.
During their round table, everyone predicted Jimin wrote a note to Jk. Should have been V if they all thought that's where Jimin's interests lay.
If Jimin were an introvert who had no other friends apart from V I think Vmin would have looked very different. If Jimin was comfortable with V and V alone we would see a lot of Jimlos moments- I mean look at Jungkook😹
Sometimes in a crowd when JM wanders off he would become so restless.... but that's not jealousy perhaps it's close but not quite. It's I don't have anyone else but you why do you have all these people besides me. (A sign for you to make friends honey go out there and socialize geez) thankfully he's good at socializing now and new fans might struggle to understand just how introverted he used to be. Lmao.
So I won't say V is jealous. I'd say sometimes he's dealing with complex emotions, the realization that this person is not what I want him to be.
I remember the vminkook live where he wanted some me time with Jungkook and bam Jimin shows up out of nowhere instead and goes, I know you were looking for Kook.
And when he tries to show off their bond when Kook arrives talking bout inside jokes that Jimin knew nothing off and suddenly Jimin goes- PSA JUNGKOOK AND I ARE THE TEAM OF THE GROUP not you two so sit down. Powdered that shit down fast.
Which is funny cos once upon a time Vmin were voted the best duo of the group and yet here he is claiming that spot with JK not V.
And remember all the times he wanted some me time with Jimin and he said JK wouldn't let JM come and he was sad about it.
He can't claim either of Jikook the way Jikook are able to claim eachother. In fact no one can claim Jimin. Jungkook put Namjoon in his place one time, had the leader of the group going meow meow for years.
And frankly I don't think it's fair to Tae. I understand Jikook are a couple and all but damn that's a difficult place for V to be in.
Jimin is his chingu and he and Jungkook knew eachother first so how those two are so close more than they are with him or should be with him is just painful and embarrassing sometimes. I too would be salty
Good thing Jimin tries to make up for it cos imagine, you never hear Jungkook complaining he misses Jimin because some member has all his attention but here you have Hobi and V constantly complaining 😩
I think Tae just used to struggle with feeling sidelined alienated excluded and reduced to a third wheel in the vminkook dynamic.
And since he is petty much like myself I feel sometimes he does try to give them a taste of their own medicine- except Jikook aren't phased😩😹
They too in their own world to notice their friend is throwing tantrums in the back 😹😹😹😹😹😹

It is now to make time for a pusher post for my favorite Korean period drama of all time - Chuno/The Slave Hunters.
youtube
The story revolves around three main characters (though supporting characters are many, complex, and incredible) - Dae Gil, a fallen noble who has long become a feared slave hunter of escaped slaves, Hye Won, a former slave girl who has long lived under a false identity of a noble lady, and Tae Ha, a formerly very high aristocrat and right hand of now-dead Crown Prince So Hyeon who has been punished and made a military slave.
The story proper starts when Tae Ha seemingly suddenly goes on the run and the government for reasons that won’t be explained until later issues a mad bounty on him dead or alive and Dae Gil joins the chase, without knowing that Tae Ha and his long-lost love Hye Won, who he has been searching for a decade for, have crossed paths and are traveling together.
So, why Chuno? It has amazing visuals, great fights, incredible performances and an intriguing plot, not to mention the sole love triangle I’ve ever loved in a kdrama (watching it live was agony!)
But it’s not any of that. It’s the fact that it’s the sole sageuk that really focuses on class and plight of the dispossessed - not even The Rebel does it as well and with such a focus. The Rebel is wish fulfillment but this is not. One of the other plots running almost parallel is a doomed slave rebellion - no Hong Gil Dong shows up to save anyone. The most you can manage is to try to carve out some obscurity of peace and even that is almost impossible. There is a reason that Tae Ha's grand mission, the best outcome is not something like restoring So Hyeon's last remaining living son to his position or the throne or anything, it is merely saving the child's life to live in obscurity and even that is barely achieved.
Almost every character, and certainly every major one is on the margins of society - slaves, peasants, and other lower classes. And the drama tackles not only what it does to live on the bottom of the social pyramid but also with innate prejudices which even the dispossessed possess. It really does tackle class structure in a way I don't see in other sageuks, even the small number that do not focus on royals and court. What I think really makes it possible is the fact that all three mains exist in the in-between space, neither permanently this nor that and it shows the artificiality of distinctions. Dae Gil is a former noble who is now barely better than the slaves he hunts. He's free, yes, but he exists on the margins and upper class is as closed to him as the moon. Hye Won used to be Un Nyun, a slave woman who almost died for the sin of going "above her station" in love but now she is upper class lady Hye Won with a fictitious background. Tae Ha was incredibly high up (back in the past, Dae Gil's family would have probably preened at the unimaginable honor of being invited to his house or similar) but now he is a branded military slave. If people can pass between classes like this - due to luck (good or bad), loss or gain of money, politics etc, the class distinction is shown as absurd. There is nothing visible that distinguishes present day Dae Gil from a man who was born in the gutter or Hye Won from a lady noble by birth. And yet, and yet - I love how the class prejudice is shown to be embedded in its very victims. One of my favorite story beats is Tae Ha's instinctive initial recoil on discovering Hye Won is originally a slave. He's a man who was made a slave on the most unjust grounds, he has to know how meaningless this distinction is, how cruel and pointless. But yet his first reaction is horror because even as a victim of the system he has bought into it - his status is a terrible injustice, he gets that. But to get that the system itself is awful is another step. I love that this does not come easy to him.
Anyway, this is a great drama with complex characters and complex narratives. It was a mad hit back when it came out but like a lot of "older" dramas is less talked about/watched today and I am trying to remedy it :)
PS If you shipped Dae Gil x Hye Won instead of Tae Ha x Hye Won like me (and I totally get why, they were also epic), you can always then watch Robber, which is a modern drama in which Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae starred as the OTP of a desperate conman preying on lonely women and a grieving widow. You can always, like me, view it as their happy ending AU.

Thoughts on twinkling watermelon (kdrama 2023)
I know I barely post here anymore but I finished a kdrama and I don't know who else to talk to about it.
Spoilers for the everything
I haven't watched a single k drama since attorney woo and I found this on tiktok after seeing an edit of it and it has been a while since I watched anything with deaf themes.
Synopsis: A CODA struggles with his passion for music when his father opposes him being in a band, and is suddenly zapped back to 1995 and assigns himself the quest of pairing his teenage future parents together so that he can return back safely, but then runs into complications when his future dad has another crush instead of his future mom, dedicating an entire band of all things purely to win her heart.
Throughout the series it shows quite a bit of life in 1995, and Eun Gyeol slowly learns the past of his parents that he has never told them when they were children, such as how his dad did not have his mom as his first love, or that he was actually born hearing and lost his hearing later in life. Later he meets his mom, a deaf girl going to a different high school for the arts, and his main obstacle that turns out to be a friend, Se Gyeong. From trying to investigate what happened on both sides and being victim of an accident, he ends up in his future mom's house and finds that she is being abused by her adoptive mother and stepsisters, all without the father's knowledge because he is constantly overseas for his instrument business. He promises her father to make her smile, and teaches her sign language as her tutor, the same sign language he had learned from her as a child. I thought that was a beautiful yet tragic way of paying it back.
Se Gyeong is actually Eun Yu, another time traveller from the present day who went back in time to masquerade as her mother, and prevent her parents from meeting so that she didn't have to be born, after her present day life from a father that abandoned her, a mother that tries to live through her, and a second father that moved on so easily after moving overseas all wanted nothing to do with her or her achievements as her own person. She is very much a tsundere and plays around without any regard for people's feelings or any real risks, but ends up attached to Eun Gyeol. They end up having a love hate relationship with each other but then end up falling in love for real after the trials of the band.
Some things are just never explained, such as why the master offers time travelling to the both of them, even though he is revealed to Mr. Viva by the end, the intentions of the time travel are never revealed, even though Eun Gyeol was also wondering as much as well. Why did Chung ah's mother abandon her, where did she go, and the only thing that was revealed was that her moving away was not her choice? And how did the adoptive mother get hired in the first place? Was she a babysitter? She tells Chung ah that from then on she would be her new mother, but from simply being FIRED it was enough to eject her and her kids. Also I felt like Eun Ho, the deaf brother, was not fleshed out enough as a character until somewhat at the very end when Eun Gyeol and Eun Yu are trying to figure out the accident only for it to happen anyway. It almost came off like Viva la Music gives this time traveling trip as a service from how the master was cryptic and worded things, but then it just was for those two in the end. Was it his way of paying things back to them when he couldn't do it in his own lifetime? Wait, wow, that just already explained that. Huh.
Also there are some times where Eun Gyeol is just a huge idiot and never learns until it is actually too late and that's when I felt that the show was much longer than it should be, or at least felt longer. Like he already knows his parent's names but then still calls them dad and mom even though they are the same age as him in 1995. When Eun Yu lets it slip that she's a time traveller, three times in the same episode, he doesn't catch onto any of it until they are on the same train with a smartphone in hand? He also doesn't know how to come off as protective to Yi Chan, without just seeming gay. As funny as that is as a gag it ends up being overused because for some reason Eun Gyeol doesn't know any other way to be protective of him.
It also bothered me greatly that Eun Gyeol also assigns himself the mission of preventing the accident from happening to his father, because it was the reason he became deaf. Like firstoff the mission was to pair them together so that he could be born and return to the present day safely, and secondly, it's like he doesn't want him to be deaf even though he knows it's not always a bad thing. It also seemed to be written last second that Eun Yu would help him with this mission as well, only for it to happen anyway.
The way that Eun Gyeol ended up so interconnected with Eun Yu has got to be one of my favorite parts of the writing. And how the alternative series of events in 1995 flow together, like how Chung ah's brother comes back as an alternate way for the accident to happen, and how music became both of their passions only to sour into a source of grief because of familial expectations.
Eun Gyeol and Yi Chan did have a quality relationship once the latter finally learned to not be such a prick. They quite literally did everything they could for each other, ultimately. If it wasn't time travel, they could have been lifelong friends.
Eun Yu's past of being with a club of similarly high expectations well off children was well written even though briefly shown. It was enough to show the start of her slippery slope into grief, which ultimately made her do stupid shit to try and get attention to her as a person instead of her talents or image of her mother, but I still considered her annoying most of the time. Only when she cooperated with Eun Gyeol, or actually did her job when she was asked, or knew well how to manipulate Watermelon Sugar was when she was a neat character.
Going back to the future and ending up in a better future than where he came from was really nice, he positively impacted the right people who provided everything for his parents. But I wish there were more moments between Eun Gyeol and Chung ah, and ultimately Yi Chan and Chung ah. For being the main couple that has to get together, they didn't share that many moments together, even though that sign language song concert was very sweet. Yi Chan is very strong hearted, and it's his strength with Chung ah but easily his biggest weakness with Se Gyeong, expecting his bandmates to be the same as him even though everyone knows that he only made the band for the sake of a girl so what professionalism is there to be had. In the end, Yi Chan ended up being just a good kid. Ma Joo however was annoying when it came to showing the tape that Yi Chan promised to not show anyone. That's when he actually cares about the band as someone who is only an assistant to it, at the cost of the frontman.
The sign language parts of the drama were not much, but it was so heartwarming when everyone in the band learned some sign for her, and that Eun Gyeol gave the same book to her father. I appreciate the dedication to all the signing being correct, but I wish that the deaf parts were also given to deaf actors. Could just be me watching Switched at Birth so much and seeing that it's a well loved thing in the US to have that though. And the connection between Chung ah and Frida Kahlo, I thought would be much more because it was in the opening and it was the painting that got them to say Viva la Vida. They did talk about her life and how she was strong from how she grew from everything that happened to her, and some parts of her life may be inappropriate for the age rating(?), but there could have been more to show, like other works she had done. Also. Eun Gyeol and Eun Yu deserved sign names. Actually, everyone does.
Overall, I liked the drama, but I cannot recommend it because it felt longer than it should have been, when the characters are annoying it's painful levels of annoying, and Eun Gyeol ultimately not learning much even though the time called for it, only in the end part does it finally cultivate.
9/10 though. I love Chung ah.

Hils Watches Oh No! Here Comes Trouble - Ep 1
Time to start another drama. Don't really know much about this but a bunch of friends watched it recently and enjoyed it so I figured I'd give it a go
Okay, this drama has now been on for 20 minutes and I still have no idea what it's about 😂 There's a teeanger who bullies another kid at his school and has bad grades but is really good at calligraphy. Also, there might be ghosts??
Wow, okay, that suddenly took a dramatic turn.
I legit nearly jumped out of my seat when the bus the kid was on suddenly got smashed in half by a car. I still have no idea what's going on but it's very compelling.
Meanwhile this poor kid seems to have PTSD and has no idea how to deal with the fact that the kid who used to bully him all the time is no longer there. Look he just walked down the stairs and no one pushed him down them.
Holy shit I thought a car had hit the bus! I didn't realise it was a plane!
I have to say this is way more high budget than any other Taiwanese drama I've watched before. Admittedly all the others have been BL.
I love her. Walked into the press conference of the airline company and just started swinging
Ah, an evil corporation trying to avoid paying compensation by claiming the kid's grandpa had an illness prior to the plane hitting the bus. This feels very kdrama.
I thought I misunderstood when it said he'd been unconscious for 717 days but apparently not! He seems very well for someone who has been in a coma for nearly 2 years
Ohhhhh! Can he see ghosts now? Well, this just got more interesting
Oh, lol, it was a fakeout
Ooh are we going to get the backstory of why he hates this kid. Also, I know it's fucked up, but I kind of ship them? I've read too many enemies to lovers fics
Uh...is that a zombie hand?
Oh is that the dude who fell off the building at the very start of the episode? I was wondering when he was going to become relevant
Well. It's definitely interesting. I have no idea what's going on and I swear I just watched 4 different genres of TV in one episode. But I'm definitely curious enough to watch more

So, I watched XO, Kitty because why not? I liked "To all the boys I've loved before" and since Kitty and Dae met very briefly but stared at each other so intensely, I was curious how this spin-off is going to turn out. I would rate this an 8/10, it is bubbly and it is entertaining.
Kitty herself is more dramatic than any kdrama, I laughed a lot at what she did but I also rooted for her. She is an interesting character or I should say, the writing is interesting because she is such a drama queen but she stands up for herself. She doesn't cry easily and she confronts people until she knows or until she reached some closure. She is brave when it comes to her emotions and she doesn't look away from her feelings.
The set-up is...well it exists. It's not the best idea but it's fine. It doesn't take long until she is in Korea and the story starts, so I can excuse the lame beginning since it was quick. I am very impressed with the way Kitty reacts when she finds out Dae "cheated on her". Of course, she is heartbroken, shocked, disappointed and angry. She storms off but then she walks back in to confront Dae. I truly admire her for that, I was sitting here like "you go girl! Don't let him mess with you."
But since I rate this an 8/10, there has to be something that bothers me...and yes there was. The story is off and it is so off-putting in a few moments, I am still confused. I don't even know if it's the pacing or the writing but Kitty goes through many things off camera. She discovers she has a half-brother she didn't know about since he was adopted by Australian parents. This is some big news I would say and I believe some people would even be mad at their mom for never telling - even if she is dead. At least a short moment, just a second of utter shock and denial...but we never get any of it. She's just like "oh, I have a secret brother...unexpected but okay" and then continues to randomly find out who he is without even having proof. I am thankful for Q telling her exactly that lmao. This whole bother-thing starts silly, then it's not her brother but Yuri's (Dae's "girlfriend") and things get interesting from there. Because Kitty went to Korea because of her mom, because she wanted to have something from her mom's youth, but she got lost midway and the intentions of her visit started to blurr between "because of mom" and "because of a boy". So this whole Alex thing showed us all why Kitty is there and it brings her close to the past of her mom. Yuri and she are connected through their mothers and there is a very nice and wholesome scene when they all - meaning Yuri, her mom, Alex and prof Lee - figure it out and just talk about it. XO, Kitty definetly had some wholesome moments throughout the mess it sometimes was.
The plot surrounding Kitty's feelings for Yuri is very intriguing. Dae and Yuri were in a fake relationship because Yuri is gay. Kitty went to Korea and thought her boyfriend Dae was cheating on her. Then Yuri and Dae "break up" and Kitty can finally be with him but she's not happy. And then she discovers her feelings for Yuri and I find this triangle funny. I like how natural the show portrays this shift. Suddenly Yuri is there much more often than before, suddenly we see more and more of her life, suddenly the attention of the camera is on her BECAUSE Kitty pays so much attention. She sees the hard feelings and the lovely girl underneath. We suddenly see Yuri in a softer light which is why their fight on stage is painful. They don't look at each other, they can't because of the choreo and it feels so cold compared to the scenes we saw before when they were together.
Believe it or not, I like the break-up scene. I like how they handled Kitty's feelings. Since Dae is very sad and kind of angry, he wants to know why Kitty is breaking up, whom she has feelings for. He doesn't quite believe that it's Yuri but thankfully their break-up doesn't really focus on that. It's just Dae being hurt because his grilfriend Kitty is in love with somebody else (whoever that is). And he doesn't take her "it's so confusing" as an apology or whatever since she still hurt him, no matter if she is discovering her sexuality or not. The writers distiguish between the relationship and sexuality which I find interesting because yes, it's no apology and it doesn't make his heart break less but it's still heartbreaking for both parties.
And please, to all the people saying she should have chosen Minho: no she shouldn't have. I think she and Minho have great chemistry but we have seen too few of these two to actually know if they would work as a couple. So far, Minho is just a great character one just has to love. He cares so much and he's so soft. I just want to hug him and tell him he's not alone because oh, my boy is such a loner. Minho is honestly the best character but I kind of think not the best for Kitty. Kitty is too messy, it's too much drama for him.
But it's probably about him if this show ever gets a second season. It started with him at the airport in slow motion while "hot" was playing (so iconic) and it ends with him sitting next to her on the plane home. Will it be like "she went off with Minho and came back with him" because I kind of would love that too. But what about her feelings for Yuri? Because I think Yuri has some for Kitty as well...oh what a mess

K-Drama List PT. 3
Here is another list because the list won't stop growing
First List
Second List

My Secret Hotel: (First Episode Date:) August 18, 2014 (Last Episode Date:) October 14, 2014 (16 Episodes)
Genre: Mystery, Comedy, Romance and Drama
My Opinion :I am kind of taken back at the fact that I couldn't find a single gif to show this show. . . Kind of rude but okay. Just kidding. But let's get serious. To be honest before I watched the show, I was expecting this show to be insanely cringey since this show aired in 2014. However, believe it or not it wasn't as cringy as I was expecting it to be. I mean don't get me wrong it has its corny perks, but it didn't make me hide behind my hand at any point which is a good thing. Then again Kdramas always need a little corny scene in them at some point, am I right? I really enjoyed watching the show. It has a sense of mystery trying to figure out who is the killer back at the hotel yet a romance storyline. The only thing that had me annoyed eventually throughout the show is the lack of communication. SOMETHING ALL THESE KDRAMAS TEND TO HAVE IN COMMON IS LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Just speak to one another.... How hard is that? Overall though it's a show I would certainly watch again and would recommend giving it a go.
My Rating: 9/10
Summary: This drama is about a woman who runs the wedding planning division of one of the country’s top 1% wedding destination hotels. And while planning perfect weddings for the elite, she’ll be caught in a love triangle between her ex-husband and a new man while a murder at the hotel turns things topsy-turvy
-
I Hate Juliet: (First Episode Aired:) February 14, 2019 (Last Episode Aired:) May 1, 2019 (18 Episodes)
Genres: Romance, Drama, Supernatural
My Opinion: To be honest this a very short series. Most of the episodes were 18 min long so I was able to fly by this show a lot quicker than I expected. It's a typical drama. The two characters happen to meet each other when they were younger and rekindle not knowing they knew each other as kids. They pick on one another and poof before they know it, feelings are involved. Yes, cliche I know… But hey if you're into cliche shows, here you go.
My rating: 7.5/10
Summary: After an electric shock, a top celebrity is suddenly able to hear a script writer's thoughts. Knowing her true thoughts and feelings, he finds himself falling madly in love with her! But when he loses his ability to read her mind, would he still be able to win her heart?

Lol I've seen those weirdo women (well, girls many times as most are quite young) that lust after serial killers, they literally are a minority though so I don't know what that anon is even doing lumping them with the bigger "bear vs man" phenomenon lol. I have zero interest in serial killers but I do have an interest in the Columbine School Massacre for some reason, and sometimes you do stumble upon the fangirls of the two shooters, but most people shun them or dont pay them any attention. I think the fanboys are more dangerous as some of them have actually go out and commited their own shootings (many school shooters have cited the Columbine duo as their inspiration and all of them have been male).
Some of those fangirls ship the two dudes together and even make theories about how they actually loved each other romantically, or at least one of them lusted after the other even though both showed clear interest towards girls lol fujoism is one hell of a drug.
Speaking of fujoshis I think yaoi will be the next big trend in romance in America and other English speaking countries. It's become super popular in Japan, SK and China (even though China hasnt got the best reputation with it's treatment of gay people, many bl manhuas have become extremely popular to the point they've shown gay men kissing and straight up sex scenes on mainstream television, which wasnt permitted before, money talks and bl brings a lot of it).
Ive never understood why girls like yaoi so much...
Weren't the Columbine shooters massive racist asshole? noah offense anon, but anyone's obsessing about those dude gets a major side eye from me. That serial killer/mass shooter fandom shit is super white-coded. I also find super funny that a significant amount of mass shooter were atheists, yet barely anyone draws the line between atheism and the god-like complex of causing a murderous rampage because of *whatever psychosis those freaks had*, but the moment one self professed Christian does shit, suddenly it's the fault of Christianity lol
"yaoi will be the next big thing"
Huh? Yaoi /yaoi novel has been immensely popular for years now. Even when I was a teen (mid 2000s) it was all the craze. Fujo culture is the sublimation of the female sexual frustration coupled with the fear of male sexuality. That's why in yaoi (at least written by women) there's always one character representing the "submissive" energy associated the female (slim, naive, younger, etc - never forget that Japan is still mad patriarchal & reinforce gender roles to crazy levels...so I'm not surprised that even yaoi mangaka perpetuate those roles on their same sex stories). That's what makes yaoi so popular. In a society where female sexuality is so restricted or censured, yaoi was a way of expression. There's no wonder this genre is championed by women. And also why it's more popular than yuri fo example (that's much more straightforward than yaoi as it shows actual women having sex) - which is more taboo than gay male sex because lesbian sex has no man involved which is a serious taboo in a very patriarchal society such as Japan.
I've witnessed the rise of gay romance in kdrama too. That's what I would define as a new trend. I don't think much of it besides how pissed anti woke Japanese weebs/Koreaboos probably are about it lol

I hope it never happens, cuz that will be a mess. . But
What if??
Y/n appears in their life as Olivia's ( Felix's younger sister) friend who will be in Seoul for some work and she asked her brother to take care of her, since y/n was a very special friend of hers.
Because of a stalker following her, y/n appears in front of their dorm ( dorm no. 2 : lee know, felix, seungmin, i.n.) where 3racha + hyunjin was also visiting. And that's where they met.
Felix and y/n had been texting for a bit and knew each other by then.
At first glance, they looked at her as if she was magic. Literally dressed in a grey sweat suit, a black cap and converse hike. It must be her aura, as she greeted everyone with a smile.
Seungmin and jeongin were the ones to help her bags in.
Felix sat her down and to their surprise, she was already rambling on about how much she loved them.
Chan gave her icecream to calm her down. bad idea, sugar.
Basically, as they got to know each other, separately, the boys start falling in love with her. And without realising that the other was falling for her too.
Chan : spending time with her, at the beach or watching sunsets with her, talking about topics he could not even open up to the members. And realising how her skin glows when the sun hits her, how a lil dimple appears when she smiles, how her eyes form crescent shapes when she laughs out loud. He was in love.
Lee Min Ho: every time they hang out , they cook something. She was good at whipping up stuff without any instructions and magically making it taste divine. Or was it just because it was her? Maybe it was how she carefully places the batter in the hot oil so that it does not splatter around. Maybe it was how she ask him about his day, while stirring the broth and casually drops wise sh*t. Maybe it was how her eyes twinkle after tasting his food. He was smitten as a kitten. I don't think that's a saying.
Changbin: he hates cardio. That's not a secret anymore. But with her, he would run the extra mile. When she asked her to train her so that she could lose weight, he bit back his thoughts. But you are already perfect. Every morning, they would race each other and even if it was just a 5k, he was proud. Very proud of her. So proud that he treats her to expensive protein shakes everyday after their run-devour. The man of principle, Seo Changbin, going against his beliefs for someone? It was evident. He was crazy for her.
Hyunjin : the resident INFJ. Kept to himself, most of the time after their schedule, until she came around. Every time she dropped by Felix's dorm, he makes sure he was there. He would leave the comfort of his own room and rush to the other dorm, if she waw there. Going around, talking about their days. And it usually ends in them curling up under the blanket, on the sofa, watching a kdrama and crying their eyes. K-dramas. If only he could remember what the drama was about. All he remembers was how she would react to the antagonist, clenching her tiny hands into lil fists ; how her lower lip pouts when the dog in the drama jumps at the sight of its owner ; how , even after the drama, would continue to babble about its inner meaning. He found her cute. Cuter than any of his members. And days she did not come by were days he would visit the other dorm, pace up and down, waiting for the door to swing open to reveal her, asking him why he was there and not at his dorm, again. He knew he was done for.
Han : now, when the mood maker of the group suddenly falls silent when she was around, it looks odd but tbh, he was a shy quokka at heart. He was shy. Careful that he might embarrass himself in front of her. It was love at first sight for him. Somehow, her tired eyes, after 10 hours of travel, looked like the windows to paradise to him. And well, his silence works well, since she will always come to him, sit by him and try to cheer him. Her presence just makes him..Happy. He knew that from the first day.
Felix : her texts were something he came to look forward to. It was healing to him, how she would rant about her work, how she would ask him to recreate tiktok challenges but when he asked her to do with him, she would just .. Not reply. And all the members were fond of her. Who wouldn't be? But every night, when he couldn't sleep, she was there, talking to him about his feelings, deep into 3 a.m. in the morning. He would call her at exactly 2:59 , cuz he knew she doze off at the 3 a.m. timing and so that he could listen to her lil snores. He was whipped for her.
Seungmin : maybe it was the way she got along with his parents, the first day they met, at the restaurant. It was his day out with his family and she just happened to be at the same place. Maybe it was the way she would order his coffee for him, every morning, along with hers. Oreo bubble tea, for her. Maybe it was the way she would fall asleep on the bus, on their way back from the bookstore. Maybe it was the way he misses his stop and rides the extra mile just to make sure she gets off the right stop despite her sleeping endeavor. Maybe it was how he would watch entire drama series, amidst his busy schedule, to give her spoilers, cuz that was the way she liked it - knowing spoilers before watching the whole thing. Before he knew it, he was already halfway in too deep.
Jeongin : shopping buddies. That's what he was for her. But every time she tries on a new dress and comes out of the trial room, twirling around to show him, his heart skips double beats. It happens when she sees the new sneakers she likes and she jumps around in excitement. It also happens when she would pass the lingerie store and rush in, stopping immediately to turn around to him with an awkward smile. His heart skips so often that it could compete in a hurdle race amd probably win a gold medal. That was just his body telling him that he was heads over heels for her.
Really don't know if I want them to realise that the other is also in love with her. Cuz then they would be sacrificing bcuz they love each other that much. And it will be a mess of emotions. Not a chance I'm putting our kids through that emotional turmoil. Lol.

New Moon in Aquarius February 2024
The new moon is in Aquarius(from February 10th 01:58 Kenyan time). So is the Sun, Mercury and Pluto. That's really nice. The new moon is about new beginnings. This is a short follow up reading from the full moon in Leo reading.
Also, happy year of the wood dragon 🐲🎉I have not included this new year in this reading because I don't have the energy.
This is what all of this may mean for you. For personal readings here is my WhatsApp or just DM me. If you're not sure you can also book a consultation via the same link.
NOTE: You may have felt whatever is in this reading already.
Aquarius rising/Leo descendant (7H): The new cycle in your life is about who you are. Especially through what you tell yourself, so say positive things when you look in the mirror. Because of the opposition to your 7H, you may find yourself feeling like you are getting separated from others. Yes elevation requires separation but remember that the relationships in your life are a reflection of you so use that for some self awareness.
Pisces rising/Aquarius 2H: This new cycle is on your money. You have the opportunity to start making money in a new way. Don't get so carried away, tread carefully. Read the fine print and SPEAK UP FOR YOURSELF. You leave a lot of money on the table by not having uncomfortable conversations. You're going to start being independent, but if you aren't responsible your debts will override your income and you'll never really get to enjoy this new cycle. You may have to leave certain places and spaces to enjoy this.
Aries Rising/Aquarius 3H:Aquarius is in your third house so this is about your communication. You have the opportunity to step into greatness by communicating to the right people Especially in your environment. However it sounds like niching down that is your environment. ESPECIALLY if you are a creative, this is your opportunity to be loud about what you do! Don't sit and expect to see greatness in seconds, what you are doing now will set a huge stage for you in a future you don't know about. This house is ruled by Mercury. Mercury rules the trickster. Mercury retrogrades a whole lot, back and forth. So any oscillation should NOT distract you. Any setback that didn't look like what you thought should NOT set you back. You're learning as you go. So you decide if you're making your future now or breaking your future. In Swahili there is a proverb that goes “safari ya kesho huanza Leo”. This translates to, “tomorrow's journey starts today”. Mercury also rules short distance travel.
Taurus Rising/Aquarius 4H: Home is seeming better. Things are working out. But is this just a mirage? Can things be resolved and everything stays like this or should everyone just pretend to coexist yet you can't stand each other?
Gemini Rising/Aquarius 5H: This is in your fifth house. Fun, Fun, Fun, Fuuuuuuuun. Maybe even gambling. Be responsible, it's very easy to develop an addiction with this transit. For some, you suddenly have all these creative ideas.
If so many are flowing, write them down or record yourself listing all those ideas so that you can tackle each one. But because of the 11H opposition, you may be shut down for your creative ideas. Share wisely or move in silence. Don't let anyone shut you down.
Cancer Rising/Aquarius 6H:All those planners you want to buy. Will you use them? Because it sounds like a thrill in changing your whole schedule. It's like being heavily motivated to deep clean your house and then you get tired and bored in the middle of it all because the motivation isn't there anymore. Don't chew more than you can swallow. In Kdramas I always heard, “if you change suddenly, you will die”. I can't find the exact words but someone who knows can let us know, even better if anyone knows the cultural context.
Leo Rising/Aquarius 7H: During the full moon in Leo reading, Leo's had a very positive message. Now you are in a stage of “reintegration with society”. You were standing up there like a star and people looked at you like you are too far to reach. Now that you are coming down(not as a downfall, but in a way that shows you too are human) people will try to bring you down. Humble you, it's like an attack on the ego. They have their own inferiority problems and they can't stand that you don't. So keep your head high, keep being you but NEVER DISREGARD ANYONE'S DIGNITY. I recently read in The Great Divorce by C.S Lewis that, “The sane would do no good if they made themselves mad to help madmen”
Virgo Rising/ Aquarius 8H: Peoples money looks really good now. But that's just now, what about tomorrow? What good is living in debt? What good is bragging about others property that you only have temporary access to? This is the best time to learn about financial literacy. Just go watch videos on Tiktok, YouTube and this documentary called Get Smart with money. Don't even bother trying to take notes or anything, just immerse yourself. Whatever you pick, you will pick.
Libra Rising/ Aquarius 9H:Apply for that thing. Apply now. You have about THREE DAYS of good luck. Apply!!! Check those portals, they are probably open or about to close. Submit whatever application it is. I'm rooting for you 🎉🎉🎉🎉 You've got this!
Scorpio Rising/Aquarius 10H: You'll learn something about your career. You have the opportunity to make what you want of yourself true. But why are you letting your “mother” and “home” hold you back? I will be doing a post on astrological life timelines within the next 24 hours so be on the lookout for that as it will help you put this reading into perspective.
Sagittarius Rising/Aquarius 11H: There's a spotlight on your network. How do you feel about your network? You may want to explore this feeling.
There's a chance that you are unaware of how comfortable you've become in unhealthy communities/networks to the point that this new network you've had a short encounter with feels bad and wrong yet that's exactly where you need to be. There's a song called Slow down by Anto Neosoul. You can find it on YouTube but here is the Spotify link, have a listen.
Capricorn rising/Aquarius 12H:
Spotlight on your inner issues.
Some of your issues are not even yours, you just inherited them.
A child born with a drug addiction never chose to be addicted, their parents passed the addiction down.
Having schizophrenia is not your choosing, you just woke up with it. I saw this Tiktok video that might be helpful
So you decide whether what you inherited is on control or you are the one in control. This is not ableism. YOU🫵🏿 are the one with the power. Yes there's pain and all, but you're greater than that pain. If you only have 1% to give, that's your 100% so do what you can with it.
Just because nobody seems to listen to you doesn't mean you aren't heard. YOU have heard YOURSELF.

i really like how you gush over the prevalance of romance in ML. I hate how people say thats a negative in how the show focuses "too much on romance and not on the agreste plot", or that the ships are taking over the plot. like fam, its suppose to be having such a huge seat at the front
Thank you for the message honeybun and yes ML is about emotions and the platonic and romantic love between its characters and it's beautiful and we love to see it!!!!
The way self-proclaimed feminists will rag on ML being so focused on the cute shoujo romance as being "unfeminist," as if romance enjoyed by teenage girls isn't one of the things that grownass men love to ridicule more than anything else, is one of the most tragically hilarious bits of irony about ML "critics." Like yes you're sooo right girl, turn ML in to some grimdark hbo bullshit that men would take more seriously instead of a "silly teenage girls cartoon," how very feminist 😶
Nowadays I often purposefully make a point of bringing up the fact that I love the romance genre/kdramas/shoujo/etc. in conversations with men as a sort of test and guess what? 10 out of 10 times the immediate reflexive action is to scoff and be like "seriously?" and make fun of how stupid or cringe that is. Why is that? Why was the conversation totally normal and fun when we were talking about whatever stupid bloody shounen action or sports anime that they liked, but I bring up "girly" anime and suddenly its so stupid and cringe? Luckily I went in to those interactions expecting that reaction and have a talent for making men feel stupid so they backtrack real fast but I feel bad for any girl they might've subjected to the same bullshit who was made to feel stupid and ashamed of her interests. And when men DO like any of that "cringe" girly/romance stuff?? They feel the need to overexplain or be defensive or make excuses about it. This is just the widespread norm.
And ML "critics" have a bad habit of conflating their personal tastes with objective criticism. You don't care for shipping and romance? Fine, you do you. But ML is ABOUT the love story, so do yourself a favor and stop watching the show if you’re just going to keep acting like that fact is a flaw in and of itself. This is what happens when they're only used to a certain type of popular media, i.e. media that is approved by said adult men. Shoujo and similar types of Power of Love girl-oriented media were always niche and no one knew or cared about them outside of the specific target demographic because girls would gladly watch "boys' shows" but god forbid a boy ever touches a "girls show." Hell, that’s literally why Tangled had to be called “Tangled” rather than “Rapunzel” so they could get boys to watch without it being dismissed as a “girly princess movie.” Same with Miraculous technically officially being called “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir” instead of “Miraculous Ladybug,” even though the latter name is what was on all the concept material, because boys and girls are all down to watch something like Spider-Man but boys aren’t likely to watch a superhero cartoon titled after a girl hero unless the creators put the male hero in the title as well to prevent it from being labelled as a “girl’s show.” ML is ABOUT the main ship and people don't know how to deal with that, they're not used to romance being anything other than a C or D or Z plot in something that's not branded as a romance novel or "chick flick"
If you're so interested in the Agreste plot and care less about shipping go watch Sam Raimi's Spider-Man for Harry Osborn or whatever. Oh speaking of which, for the people who whine about caring more about the Agreste plot over the angst it introduces to Marinette & Adrien’s relationship and how Marinette is being “forced” in to a story that’s “not about her”/”girlbossing her way in to the Agreste plot” and say Adrien should be the protag and how he’s “””clearly written more like a main character than Marinette is””” etc. etc.: So this character, Harry Osborn, the “red bug hero’s best friend who has a dead mother named Emily and a rich asshole mentally unstable supervillain father whom he doesn’t know is a supervillain and whom he wishes he got love and approval of,” who Adrien’s story was very unsubtly based off of? Not only was he not the protagonist or even a love interest, he dies in every version of the story! And even this story, which was not a love story and was in a superhero action series aimed at boys, put the majority of its focus on how the identity reveal of the rich supervillain father affected and put a strain on the best friendship/platonic love between his son and the red bug hero lmao.
It's almost like relationships and platonic and romantic love are deeply human experiences and thus interesting and moving to explore in stories and that maybe focusing on love and character relationships in a story isn't a bad or shallow thing 🤪

Why everbody is so sure that Taekook is real?
In my opinion taekook ia all about fanservice I ship them BUT also I put them in there right place "Fanservice" they are great entertainers.
remember when young taehyung said he love to do romantic situational skits alot with jungkook sometimes they looked at each other eyes and pretend they fall in love or when they were eating and their eyes met and suddenly they fall in love , he said he like acting and jungkook was the only one who agrees to act with him also jungkook agreed and said that tae like to made situational skits and he himself liked it too.
For me they're still acting they're very good actors it's one of this skits in different situations.Even this moments off cam they knew that they were being filmed. At harry styles concert they knew that fans are recording. in one of the videos tae tells a fan to focus on Harry and not him.
Atomix dinner the restaurant co founder wrote bts in house not only Taekook she wrote in mentions taekook cause maybe it was a private meeting and only taekook announced they were there -like Las Vegas dinner JHope was there and they didn't post his pic nor he did -I think Jhope comment it is scripted, everything in kpop is scripted.
Las vegas dinner Jhope and someone else was with them but they didn't post there photos cause this helps their fanservice more.
Couple accessories and outfits appears only at events when stylists choose thier outfits and accessories not thier personal stuff.Taehyung wore friendship ring with wooga squad Jngkook has friendship tattoo with 97liners but nothing with each other.
Every concert and every show they knew there were fans recording and knew about fan cams so I don't consider it an off cam moment
no sighting no restaurants mentions they were there. no appearance at events together outside work.all sighting for jungkook only with his 79liners friends and taehyung the same he goes to all the events only with his friends there's no mutual friends outside the group. I know couple don't always stuck together 24 hours but isn't it weird they didn't show up anywhere outside group events? Even when taehyung went to hawaii he was with J Hope and their families..And I see everyone say they're so loud but they're only loud inside group activities not in personal.
If we foucs on any other two members we will find alot of suspicious moments and looks real more than Taekook. Like jhope and v vacation.
And boys said alot their stage persona is so different from their real one.
Teajin , namkook , vhope , jinkook , yoonkook , taegi , namjin , taejoon , jikook ,vmin , yoomin. All somehow looks real and honestly all of this is not bad for me I personaly like it it's more like watching some kdrama.
So what makes people think taekook is different? Even some people are completely convinced that they are married?
First of all, thank you for the three questions and the additional 11 paragraphs where you call the members liars, that are acting to pretend that Taekook are in a relationship, that there are more real ships in BTS than Taekook and then a load of other waffle trying to discredit Taekookers all under the guise of asking on the face of it perfectly reasonable questions of Taekooker, possibly to start an argument because that's how it feels.
But as for your questions...
Why everybody is so sure that Taekook is real? Well according to you they're not so I doubt I could change your mind.
So, what makes people think taekook is different? You obviously don't care otherwise you wouldn't have basically created a list to entice me to try and discredit it all.
Even some people are completely convinced that they are married?
If you genuinely wanted to know my thoughts or opinions on the matter, you could have taken the time to actually read my blog or at least sent me a less passive aggressive ask...
And that is why you got this response back!

Recs from May & June
I ended up making this one for two months instead of one. In May I started doing Kyudo with my best friend, and so far I'm loving it. In case you don't know, it's like Japanese archery with a longbow. We've yet to actually shoot any arrows, but I'm working hard on getting the technique down and gaining inner strength or whatever! I've also started an internship sorta thing at a daycare, altho I'm in the kitchen. It's chill. I've, as always, watched a few kdramas (surprise) and there were some good ones in there, so here we go:
TV shows
Jirisan
Dudes... I started this show thinking it'd be mostly like smaller stories about people getting saved by ranger on a mountain for various reasons. I was ready for like some human stories and shit. But I was surprised to find out that this show is much more than that. And I loved it! Jirisan is a show about Mount Jiri, and evolves around the rangers of said mountain. They save people from the weather, from themselves, from others. It jumps back and forth between various years, and in the beginning it was a bit confusing, but I quickly managed to make a mind map over the various events. The show has supernatural elements, beautiful nature shots, a serial killer case and coworkers that gotta learn to tolerate and maybe even like eachother. I really liked this show and my words does not advocate well enough for it, but please if it sounds even a tiny bit interesting to you, check it out. I sat during the whole thing and longed to go hiking myself lmao
Monstrous
Not gonna lie, I mostly watched this for Koo Kyo Hwan and Shin Hyun Bin, and it's relatively short. It's a horror web series by the same dude who made Train to Busan, about a rural town suddenly getting cursed by an ancient statue. The story is pretty predictable and doesn't really do anything new with it, but it's shot nicely, and acted nicely, and I think it was worth it anyways!
The King of Pigs
The King of Pigs is a kdrama based on the Korean animated film of the same title. This show was a brutal watch. We follow out two main characters Kyung Min and Detective Jong Seok. Kyung Min lives a relatively normal life with his wife, until one days his supressed memories of his traumatic school years reappear. A string of murders begin and after Detective Jong Seok recieves a mysterious message related to these murders, he sets out to catch the killer. Along the present day plot the show also gives us plenty flashbacks to Kyung Min and Jong Seok's school days. The show is phenomenally acted, especially the child actors deserve praise. Instead of using adult actors for their teen characters, they cast actual teen actors for the roles, and it makes it all so much more real and brutal to watch. I felt so many emotions during this show and a bullying victim myself. There's something extremely satisfying about revenge stories like these, altho I wouldn't simply categorize this show as revenge story. It's way more, and overall it's a tragedy. 10/10 man
TW for bullying, violence, suicide, torture, etc. It's brutal guys, if you wanna know specifics feel free to message me.
Bloody Heart
Watched this one as it aired, and I was originally pulled in by the absolutely amazing cinematography, and stayed for the intriguing political backstabbing. I'll have to rewatch at some point, bc I'm not entirely sure I got the whole political part of the plot lmao, but I understood enough for it to be enjoyable and intriguing. We follow a few characters, the King Lee Tae who ascends the throne after his father who was made king after a rebellion, Park Gye Won the First Vice-Premier (I'm not entirely sure about all these political roles in historical Korean stories) who's helped Lee Tae's father deposing the former king and starting a new dynasty, and lastly Yoo Jeong the daughter of a noble family who Lee Tae wants to marry. Lee Tae wants absolute monarchical power, and believes any action is justifiable to achieve his goals, while Yoo Jeong is a very sympathetic woman who wants whats best for the people on the country.
It's a story of power struggle and court intrigue, with so much drama and a tasteful amount of romance too. Every character is interesting and unique, and I kinda ended up rooting for multiple people at once, despite them opposing eachother lmao.
Video Games
The Quarry
My best friend and I has made it a tradition to play these supermassive horror games whenever they come out, they're some of her favourites, and I too was really looking forward to this one. We played through this together in one sitting (about 11 hours??) and guys, I loved it. It's cliched and obviously draws inspiration from a lot of cheesy horror movies, but that's what I love about this.
You play as this group of camp councilors who are stranded at a camp lodge for a night, and being young people that they are they decide to throw a party. Only there's monsters lurking in the shadows. If you don't know how these games work, you play as each individual character, the POV kinda switches between them, and if you play with a friend like I did, you can divide them between eachother and then pass the controller over to whoever is being controlled at the moment. It's a story with a narrative, that you can affect to a certain extent with choices you make in game. Depending on what you choose, what you say, and whether or not you fail certain QTEs and similar, you can get characters killed or not.
I think the acting and the dialogue in The Quarry was great, it was cheesy, and sometimes really dumb, but they had many lines that had me laughing, and I think it was better than the dialogue in Until Dawn. Each character is played with a real life actor, and I love that the developers even made sure each character had their own unique body model.
Wanna warn and say that the plot is pretty basic, and does use some awful stereotypes of romani people. And also just general TW for gore and violence etc
Bonus
Cabaret
Went to see Cabaret in Aarhus Teater and it was great, second time I'm seeing Cabaret in general, and it's definitely one of my favourite musicals, and I don't have much to say, I just really like their adaption of it. Despite it taking place in the 30s Berlin, it's sadly still very much relevant today.

I was curious, so I just looked through episode 13 without subs and I feel like nothing really happened in it. Literally, the synopsis for this episode is: 'Jug being sad, because people know how she used to look like before, but then Suho tells her she's herself anyway, so she shows up at school again without makeup and everything is alright'.
Like... you want to tell me, that the girl who was feeling worthless all her life because of her looks, who was always compared to her prettier siblings, bashed by her mother, bullied in school and had literal phobia of showing people her real face, would behave like that becuase her boyfriend complimented her?! It's even more ridiculous than Suho's flying scene!
I would understand it, if she had real progress across the episodes, but she didn't! She was still insecure, still focused only on her looks and realationship with Suho. She hasn't really changed since the beginning. And yet somehow they try to convince us, that few days after she was reminded of her terrible experiences from previous school, she's completely fine with showing her bare face. I guess the moral of this story is if you have a boyfriend, he will make all of your insecurities disappear. Because it's so good to base your selfworth on other's validation.
I'm wondering, how Jug will behave after Suho's leaving. She probably will lose all of her 'self-esteem' without him, because her whole world spins around this guy.
Also, I completely don't understand, what is even happening in this prewiev. Why does Seojun suddenly want to confess his feelings? I mean, besides the fact that screenwriters want to clown us into believing he even stands a chance... What is even the point? I know love is blind and all, but this girl never cared about you, so why do you waste your time on her? ;_____;
I won't even mention the 'let's break up' line. It's so cliche and it makes literally no difference, because when Suho comes back, Jug will immediately jump into his arms. This guy could disrespect her feelings in any way he wants and she still would choose him.
This drama is actually depressing as hell, when you think about it like this.
Anyway, Seojun still be the best boy and respectful king. Yes, honey, show this bullies their place. 👑
You are so right. They make it all come down to Suho existing and telling her she is pretty. You can’t build self-confidence on this. I also have none and trust me this would not work lol. Everyone is so dependent in this kdrama, all the lessons this is supposed to give are turned upside down. Wasn’t this supposed to be about inner beauty? Weren’t we supposed to show how bullying is wrong and how they should address it? Instead we play Clark Kent/Superman dress up, acting like make-up makes you unrecognizable. And the bullying caught on video makes everyone act like Jug is the villain? This whole classroom needed the teacher to teld them so their moral compass would register? Pls it’s so stupid it hurts.
Consistency doesn’t exist in TB. Seojun just ep ago looks at Suho with disgust when he asks him if he is going to confess, but now he suddenly wants to do that? When Jug never spared him a glance? This boy wants to ask if she is okay, while she couldn’t bring herself to do the same when he got hit by A CAR? The writers really try to make us go: “Ohh Seojun time, let’s pick up the pieces Suho left behind.” Suho needs to be out of the picture for Seojun to have a chance? By now Seojun should be the one saying that this is just not it, since he is the only one using his brain.
Suho cares but then decides to pack it up and leave so fast. This all could’ve been tackled so much better if they stopped wasting precious time with cameos and other stuff.
SuJug relationship had to be nurtured through 13 eps with Seojun being the glue to actually hold it together, but Seojun gets his time for 3 eps in the end? I wish they stop pushing this love triangle trope (it never was a tringle in the first place.

*****
"Bold of you to assume I'm cut out for this." Byeongkwan glares at Jun, holding an ad in his hand seeking help for a babysitter.
"You need the job, plus you're like a kid yourself, you'll do fine." Jun laughs at the deadpan expression on Byeongkwan's face.
Jun was right. Byeongkwan needed the job, and Jun happened to know someone who was in search of a babysitter. Byeongkwan had never babysat anything in his life, but when you’re pinched for cash you’ll take anything.
“Fine.” Byeongkwan agrees, smoothing out the paper in his hands to read the details.
Byeongkwan dialed the number nervously, doubts upon doubts entering his mind. The phone rang a few times, Byeongkwan letting out a breath he didn't realize he was holding in, thinking he'd luck out without having to actually respond.
Unfortunately for him, she picked up on the last ring, a soft, feminine voice saying hello over the line. Byeongkwan's throat dried suddenly, nerves surging through him.
Jun nods his head at the younger, his eyes wide as he told him to speak through gestures.
The phone's voice asks if anyone was there.
"Yes!" Byeongkwan blurts out, wincing at his own voice. "Sorry, I was just calling about the babysitting ad."
"Oh yes!" She exclaims through the phone. "That's great. Can we set up an interview?"
Byeongkwan took a moment to respond, shocked at her forwardness. "Sure.. Yea, that's fine." He stutters.
The woman introduces herself, asking for his name.
"My name is Byeongkwan." He smiles, feeling more comfortable the more he talks with her, realizing she truly was as nice as Jun said she was. "I'm a friend of Park Junhee."
"Little Park Junhee?" She squeals in excitement, making Byeongkwan laugh.
"He's not so little." Byeongkwan smirks at Jun who looks at him with a shocked expression.
She laughs, bringing Byeongkwan back to her. "That's great! I'll text you after I get off work and we can work out an interview time."
"Okay, that sounds good." Byeongkwan agrees, the pair saying their goodbyes before hanging up.
"That sounded good!" Jun cheers as the two boys continue walking to meet up with the rest of the group.
"I hope the interview goes well." Byeongkwan nods.
Jun gives him a look, an eyebrow raised. "You were so hesitant just a minute ago."
Byeongkwan rolls his eyes. "Mothers are usually very strict and terrifying when it comes to their kids, of course I was nervous. But she sounds nice!"
Jun nods, his thoughts running wild as they approached their destination.
~
Byeongkwan received a text from his new possible employer. A time for an interview that he was currently waiting at as his hands rubbed together nervously.
He hadn't met the mom or the child he'd be babysitting, which only made his nerves worse as he knocked on the apartment door. He hears a faint 'I'm coming' before loud footsteps approach the door. The door swings to reveal a young woman, a woman much younger than Byeongkwan was prepared for.
"You must be Byeongkwan." She smiles warmly as she invites him in.
Byeongkwan's nerves skyrocket as he walks into the apartment.
"It's nice to meet you." Byeongkwan bows. "In.. In person, I mean."
She giggles at his nervousness, offering him a drink and inviting him to sit down. He does watching her as she prepared some water for the both of them.
"I have to confess." She starts as she sits next to him, handing him a glass. "I called Junhee's sister to ask about you. She and Junhee both had only good things to say about you."
"Oh." Byeongkwan nods, sipping his water lightly.
"They said you're really good with kids." She says. "Haneul is really a good kid, I wouldn't ask someone to watch him if he wasn't."
"I'm glad to hear that." Byeongkwan smiles. "Can I meet him?"
"He's not home right now." She tells him. "He's with his dad this weekend."
Byeongkwan nodded.
"How about we talk about the job some more?" She asks, Byeongkwan agreeing.
The two discuss terms and requirements for some time. Byeongkwan was surprised how forward she was, telling him she wanted someone that would stay a long time so that Haneul wouldn't have to get used to different sitters. She was generous about it and kind with all of Byeongkwan's concerns. With each question asked and answered, the likelihood of him getting hired skyrocketed. And by the end of the interview, that's exactly what happened.
"Byeongkwan." She catches his attention just before he leaves. "Thank you so much, I really appreciate it."
Byeongkwan smiles, some small amounts of excitement bubbling through him. "Of course."
~
It really didn't take long for Byeongkwan and Haneul to get close. Haneul was as good as his mom said he was, hardly ever giving Byeongkwan trouble. The two of them would play around a lot. Byeongkwan worried Hanuel's mom would get upset the first time she came home and they were messing around with nerf guns. However, she just laughed and made the two dinner. Overall, the dynamics of all relationships were good. Byeongkwan and Haneul got along and played until she got home, she often made them both dinner and Byeongkwan was able to have good conversations with her. Everything had been pleasant and happy! Until the day the papers came.
Haneul's parents were still married up to this point, but the day she received the divorce papers was a glum day. Byeongkwan didn't know much about Haneul's dad, but he knew every time she talked to him she would grow sad and distant. Byoengkwan knew he probably shouldn't have felt a twinge of anger, but he did every time he heard about Haneul's dad.
He hated seeing her and Haneul sad. He hated that the father made them sad. It wasn't until the papers came that he realized how much he started to care for the two of them. As he watched her wipe away the stray tears that fell from her eyes his heart twisted in hurt and anger. Byeongkwan was angry that her ex husband had made her cry. He did his best to distract Haneul from seeing his mom upset, continuing the game of battleship they had started. He was playing the game, but his mind wasn't fully focused on it. He watched as she made dinner, her shoulders slumped as she continually ran her fingers through her hair. Byeongkwan had the sudden urge to comfort her and tell her it was going to be okay. But he was just the babysitter, there was nothing he could do except try to keep Haneul occupied and happy.
She made a quick dinner, not feeling up to making the long meal she usually did. She ate quietly, only speaking when she wanted to keep Haneul conversing about his day. She smiled at him, but Byeongkwan saw the sadness behind it.
They ate quickly before she asked Haneul to go play with the kids across the hall. Haneul nodded as he went, it was often that he went to play with them after dinner, so it was nothing out of the ordinary. She waited before Haneul closed the door before she sighed heavily.
"You don't have to say anything." Byeongkwan breaks the silence, watching some small tears fall over her cheeks.
"Sorry you had to see me cry." She laughs quietly, hoping to lighten the situation.
"It's okay." Byeongkwan tentatively reaches a hand out to her hand, holding it gently. "It's stressful, don't feel bad for crying."
She was able to keep from sobbing, but she was exhausted and Byeongkwan could tell.
"I wanted to ask if you could watch Haneul on Saturday." She starts, looking into his eyes. His heart breaking as he saw them filled with tears. "That's the court date."
"Of course I can watch him." Byoengkwan nods, smiling widely in the hopes it would make her feel better.
"You've been a life saver, Byeongkwan." She looks down laughing again to keep from crying.
Byeongkwan's heart picks up speed at her words as she wipes the tears away.
"Haneul adores you." She looks up with a tearful smile.
"I adore him too." Byeongkwan admits, his mouth wanting to say he adored her as well, but knew it wasn't the time for that.
She smiles a genuine smile. "I'm glad."
~
That had been weeks ago. It wasn't the last time Byeongkwan witnessed her tears and with each one that fell, his heart fell harder for her. His anger grew hotter against the man that used to be her husband when he stated he wanted nothing to do with Haneul. Haneul was saddened, but he was okay. Unbeknownst to Byeongkwan, Haneul liked Byeongkwan more and was more worried of him leaving him than his dad.
Byeongkwan wasn't going to leave, though. He wanted to protect them both. He grew to love them, but he was worried it would only complicate things. Not only was he younger than her, but he was the babysitter.
He had vented to Jun about it hundreds of times, Byeongkwan frustrated about the whole thing. Jun always told him the same thing.
"If you don't make a move you'll regret it forever."
"But when is the right time?"
Byeongkwan still didn't know the answer to that question. He had hoped the right moment would present itself, but it never did. He feared he would never make his move because he was too cowardice.
~
It was a late evening, one like countless others they had spent together. The three were eating dinner, Haneul telling his mom about his day as usual. It was no secret where Haneul had gotten his boldness from, his mom had exhibited it on countless occasions. But neither one of them were prepared for the bold statement that came from his mouth.
"I had fun today, Dad." His eyes trained on Byeongkwan.
Byeongkwan's eyes widened as Haneul's stared into them.
"Hanel l, I'm... not your... dad." Byeongkwan stated carefully, hoping not to hurt his feelings in any way.
"I know." Haneul nods, a wide smile on his face. "But, you treat me like the other dads treat their kids."
Byeongkwan looks up to her, his face held a shocked expression as his gaze fluttered between the two.
She stared at Byeongkwan, a thousand feelings rushing over her. She had never payed much attention to how Byeongkwan had treated Haneul, she just knew they got along. But after Haneul's statement, she begin to look back, recognizing the signs. Her mind ran a mile a minute as it processed Haneul's words and Byeongkwans actions up to this point. Now when she looked at Byeongkwan, her heart picked up, joy flooding to it as she realized how wonderful he had been not only to Haneul, but to her also.
"Haneul honey, do you want to play with the kids across the hall?" She asks him, her eyes only leaving Byeongkwan for a second.
Haneul sighs as he gets off his chair. "I know why you send me there after dinner." He trudges to the door, his final statement causing Byeongkwan to choke on air and for her to gasp. "I know what moms and dads do together."
Haneul closes the door, leaving the two in an awkward silence.
It's a few moments before she breaks it. "I don't know where that came from."
"It's fine." Byeongkwan waves his hands in front of him frantically.
Byeongkwan's eyes drop to his lap where he twiddles his thumbs. She watches him quietly, trying to find her next words.
"You treat Haneul like your own son." She states, Byeongkwan lifting his head to look into her eyes.
"He's a really good kid." Byeongkwan admits with a small smile. "I hope I have a son like him one day."
"And you treat me..." She continues, Byeongkwan tensing as he waits for her next words with baited breath. "You treat me like a loving husband would treat his wife."
Byeongkwan gulps nervously, his eyes darting back to his hands.
"Why didn't I notice sooner?" She asks herself, a smile breaking out on her face.
She stands to approach Byeongkwan, grabbing his face gently to make him look at her.
"Why didn't I notice sooner?" She whispers as she looks down at Byeongkwan.
"You... I just..." Byeongkwan stumbles over his words, his voice shaky as he feels the warmth of her hands cover his cheeks.
"I want to protect you. Both of you."
She smiles at him, bringing his lips to hers in a soft kiss, first of many to come for the couple.
~
The woman from across the hall welcomes the young boy into her home, her own sons coming out to play with him.
"My mom and dad are at it again." He states dramatically.
"Mom and dad?" The mother asks with confusion, knowing about her neighbors recent divorce.
"Yea, they're doing what mom and dads do." He sighs, again, dramatically.
"What do moms and dads do?" She asks him, her confusion only growing.
He leans on his tip toes, beckoning her down with his hand.
"They kiss." He whispers in her ear, going off to play with his friends.
