Congratulations to everybody, who is still on Team Suho after episode 15! You're not only fine with a guy breaking up with a girl without even trying to be in the long distance relationship with her, but you ALSO don't mind him STALKING HER BOTH NEAR HER HOME AND WORK, EVEN THOUGH SHE TOLD HIM TO LEAVE MULTIPLE TIMES.

WHO THE HELL WROTE THIS SCRIPT?! HOW CAN ANYBODY ROMANTICISE STALKING IN TWENTY FIRST CENTURY, I CAN'T, I-

Okay, okay. I'm fine. I'm completely and utterly fine. It's not like I want to crawl into this drama and send Suho to jail for stalking and nagging. Not at all.

God, this episode was frustrating as hell. For anybody, who was naively hoping for more Seojun's content - our man appears after twenty three minutes and then have a few short scenes with Jug. We don't see much of him being a trainee or even having longer conversation with the main character. It seems like writers just can't let him shine, even for one episode. Dissapointed, but not surprised.

And about Suho... I think the beginning of my comment is obvious enough. If I ever see anybody being like: bUt SuHo iS So sAd aNd JuG shOuLd bE wItH hIm, I will loose my temper. This guy has broken up with her, without taking her opinion into consideration (my theory about him loving to be a martyr is turning out to be true, appearently), because he said he didn't want her to wait for him. But then, when he comes back, he's acting like he actually was expected it! He touches her face, he runs after her, he forces her to be aroud him, he comes to her work... Was True Beauty supposed to be a thriller? What the hell is happening? How could anybody see Suho's behaviour and be like: 'yeah, I root for this guy, the way he stalks Jug? So romantic.'

I'm sick after today's episode. I'm so disgusted with Suho and screenwriters, who made him behaving like that. It's 2021, time to realize that stalking is not okay, and is certainly not romantic.

Yeah, I cannot believe it either. So he had some kind of amnesia or something? He just strolls right back and acts like nothing happened? Stalking her everywhere she goes? I'm tired. They can't write him normally. They got hang of his sweet moments just to twist it into this again? AGAIN? 

 Seojun having a story that isn't a love triangle centered is banned in this kdrama. He can't have anything unless it's suffering. He can get that every episode. 

 The "Suho is so sad" I felt that in my bones. Why are they making him act like this, he is turning into a stalker as character development? You said it all, you said it all. 

 The writers proved once again how bad it is. I want everyone that said "wow Suho is well written" to reflect on that. They make 180s with half of the characters 3 times an episode and keep on coming back to "caveman" romance. Wattpad story has better value than this.

I've seen your post about people not caring at all about Jug being bullied and I totally agree! It's so weird and seems so unnatural, because people tend to sympathize with victims of such behaviours. At least her friends could show some decency, but well, the plot needs drama, so here we are.

Also, wouldn't people actually be impressed with Jug glow up?

it’s so unrealistic really like they’re trying to make us believe that everyone in that school would make it their business that she doesn’t look pretty without make up and her friends would turn against her even after seeing that video of her being bullied literally for how she looks, why would they blame her for trying to look different. i get that this is a drama but it’s such a dumb conflict

Here are some thoughts about this scene:

Okay first off, I LOVE how Ratan can sense Amala's feelings (in this case it's her anger but in other cases he could sense her other feelings too). If this doesn't scream soulmates then I don't know what it means. Second I LOVE how surprised Ratan is that Amala could be angry about what happened to Rose because for him it's not something worth angering about 😂 Thirdly I wonder what's prohibiting Ratan from telling Amala :0

OKAY BUT I LOVE ME A MAN WHO DOESN'T LET ME WALK AWAY ANGRY AND IS WILLING TO TALK THINGS THROUGH!!! This is exactly what I need because walking away from conflict with things left unsaid is never good and Ratan knows it ❤️

I wonder what does this mean and how is he so sure she has nothing to worry about? Perhaps he made sure of it?

"I'm here so you'll always be safe" OMGGG SIR DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF HOW SEXY DOES THAT SOUND? BECAUSE IT'S MAKING ME FEEL ❤️ THINGS ❤️

"Ratan seemed completely disconnected from reality" Why is he so relatable sometimes? ;-; And sure Jan, I don't know if I should believe him or not, one part of me wants to believe he wouldn't lie to our face like that, while another part of me is aware that many things seems to be pointing towards him so far.

OMG WHAT DOES HE MEAN BY "Darkness is always scary but I'm not dangerous TO YOU" Is he the embodiment of darkness or something? :0 the other day @laptopcius, other friends and me were trying to look into Hindu gods and creatures to see if we can find anyone who could be Ratan but we didn't find anything convincing yet ;-; but here he's talking as if he was darkness itself :0

Also shout out to him expressing tenderness rather than power displays!! He's so sure of his masculinity that he doesn't need to be showing unnecessary power displays to his partner ❤️

The longing ❤️ and him talking about torture, does it mean he could be punished or tortured for kissing Amala? :0

And Ratan actually left, does that mean he's not in their side? ;-; is rivals/enemies to lovers what I see here? Also "Your lips say one thing, yet your soul desires another" HHHHHHHHH I'M TELLING YOU, THEY'RE SOULMATES, RATAN CAN SEE INSIDE HER SOUL!!! Rivals/enemies to lovers who are also soulmates, 2 of my favourite tropes combined and I love that for me ❤️😂

Overall, Ramala's first kiss scene was everything I was expecting AND MORE, it exceeded my expectations, it was awesome, it had the exact ingredients to make it spicy, sexual, full of tension yet so full of longing and yearning too, my jam ❤️ this scene was knee trembling and breathtaking ❤️ How am I supposed to wait until June to see this man again? (if he appears ;-;) the good thing is we'll have 4 episodes so the possibilities increase :0

And last but not least, I think I know who Lachance from Theodora is, it's Ratan since he smells like bergamot 😂 okay I really should stop linking KCD and Theodora but I can't help it 😂

I saw this post in the tags, and I'm sad that it upset Wincy to the point that she deactivated. While I don't think the OP meant to hurt Wincy’s feelings, I can see why she got upset. No one likes to hear their hard work sucks. I hope she is taking care of herself and comes back if she chooses.

I was curious, so I just looked through episode 13 without subs and I feel like nothing really happened in it. Literally, the synopsis for this episode is: 'Jug being sad, because people know how she used to look like before, but then Suho tells her she's herself anyway, so she shows up at school again without makeup and everything is alright'.

Like... you want to tell me, that the girl who was feeling worthless all her life because of her looks, who was always compared to her prettier siblings, bashed by her mother, bullied in school and had literal phobia of showing people her real face, would behave like that becuase her boyfriend complimented her?! It's even more ridiculous than Suho's flying scene!

I would understand it, if she had real progress across the episodes, but she didn't! She was still insecure, still focused only on her looks and realationship with Suho. She hasn't really changed since the beginning. And yet somehow they try to convince us, that few days after she was reminded of her terrible experiences from previous school, she's completely fine with showing her bare face. I guess the moral of this story is if you have a boyfriend, he will make all of your insecurities disappear. Because it's so good to base your selfworth on other's validation.

I'm wondering, how Jug will behave after Suho's leaving. She probably will lose all of her 'self-esteem' without him, because her whole world spins around this guy.

Also, I completely don't understand, what is even happening in this prewiev. Why does Seojun suddenly want to confess his feelings? I mean, besides the fact that screenwriters want to clown us into believing he even stands a chance... What is even the point? I know love is blind and all, but this girl never cared about you, so why do you waste your time on her? ;_____;

I won't even mention the 'let's break up' line. It's so cliche and it makes literally no difference, because when Suho comes back, Jug will immediately jump into his arms. This guy could disrespect her feelings in any way he wants and she still would choose him.

This drama is actually depressing as hell, when you think about it like this.

Anyway, Seojun still be the best boy and respectful king. Yes, honey, show this bullies their place. 👑

You are so right. They make it all come down to Suho existing and telling her she is pretty. You can’t build self-confidence on this. I also have none and trust me this would not work lol. Everyone is so dependent in this kdrama, all the lessons this is supposed to give are turned upside down. Wasn’t this supposed to be about inner beauty? Weren’t we supposed to show how bullying is wrong and how they should address it? Instead we play Clark Kent/Superman dress up, acting like make-up makes you unrecognizable. And the bullying caught on video makes everyone act like Jug is the villain? This whole classroom needed the teacher to teld them so their moral compass would register? Pls it’s so stupid it hurts.

Consistency doesn’t exist in TB. Seojun just ep ago looks at Suho with disgust when he asks him if he is going to confess, but now he suddenly wants to do that? When Jug never spared him a glance? This boy wants to ask if she is okay, while she couldn’t bring herself to do the same when he got hit by A CAR? The writers really try to make us go: “Ohh Seojun time, let’s pick up the pieces Suho left behind.” Suho needs to be out of the picture for Seojun to have a chance? By now Seojun should be the one saying that this is just not it, since he is the only one using his brain.  

Suho cares but then decides to pack it up and leave so fast. This all could’ve been tackled so much better if they stopped wasting precious time with cameos and other stuff. 

SuJug relationship had to be nurtured through 13 eps with Seojun being the glue to actually hold it together, but Seojun gets his time for 3 eps in the end? I wish they stop pushing this love triangle trope (it never was a tringle in the first place.

Just seen spoilers for today's episode of TB and all I can do is bringing iconic quote: 'our expectations for you were low, but holy f...'

I'm not even gonna watch it. Seriously, screw them. Screw all of them. Bad, lazy writing is one thing, but romanticisizing toxic relationship and stalking it's so messed up. These screenwriters should get restraining order from all kind of pens, computers, laptops, ANYTHING they could use for writing. They wasted all the potential this drama could have had and turned into cringefest, which glorifies toxicity and stalking.

The only good thing that came out of this mess is Hwang In Yeop popularity. And his behind the scenes with Moon Ka Young, because they're just too precious together. I hope they will be casted together soon as leads, because their chemistry is amazing.

Now excuse me, before I write the whole rant about this garbage. I've already wasted too much time on it.

Since you probably gonna watch, I will pray for you, cause this last episode will make you go feral. I'm already mad and I haven't even watched it.

Anyway, hang on, our Seojun will finally be free after today! Fighting!

I completely understand. I just need to see this through hah. I’ve suffered 15 eps, so what’s one more?? I can feel my eye twitch while I’m writing this. 

The potential was immense but they managed to stomp it to the ground and beat it a few times for good measure. This is ... painful. 

My boyo will shine bright in different roles as well. He was the best thing this kdrama had and they still disrespected him like this. I can’t wait to support him in his other works. 

And please! Rant away, we all need it. And thank you, I will probably lose my mind and the final rant won’t be pretty. I think I should apologize already lol.

For real though, they messed up this scene so badly. Like it had so much potential and for a moment (especially during Jugyeong's older sister conversation with Suho's shitty father) I could feel the weight of this whole conflict, but then the car crush scene came and I died of laughter. How the hell someone looked at this footage and was like: 'yeah, it's amazing, let's keep it that way'

Have some selfawareness, for God's sake

Also, I feel so bad for Seojun in the preview, because it seems like Jugyeong didn't even care enough to come and comfort him after accident. As always plot only focuses on Suho and Seojun is just forgotten and lonely, excuse me, let me cry in corner for half an hour

I bet it already exists lol. 

I am honestly so confused. Why did they ruin a scene that finally had some weight in it? Lot of people said that this show never took itself seriously... but there are times where you should?? We had this amazing scene with Heekyung completely uncovering the lack of morals Suho’s dad has and also showing his stupid dating scandal that was worth disrespecting Seyeon’s death and Suho finding out about all of this and meeting Seojun who is shaken up as well. What’s better time than then to take things seriously? 

And yeah, each episode I know that they will hit my boy with that disrespect (doesn’t make me any less sad tho). Once again they completely scratched the best thing out of the webtoon. Seojun willingly went to take care of Suho and sat by him even though he didn’t have to. Now they forced him to be there with Suho cuz they both got hit and we all know Jug is going to be blind to everything but Suho as usual. Most of Seojun’s screen time is just him having to witness Suho and Jug together while he has to collect the pieces when Jug gets sad. 

Just give him sweet family time or time with his gang of dummies instead of this torture. This drama made me ship everything but the main leads.

I also wanted to comment on the screenwiting aspect of True Beauty. Let's be honest, most of the things about the script just sucks. Plot is chaotic and doesn't seem to have any focus (apart from numerous love triangles), dialouges can be cringy at times, many times it fails to focus on the right emotions and just turn to comedy, which is annoying. So I was really surprised, when they managed to make such a well-written, multidimentional and likeable character as Seojun. Of course, we wouldn't love him as much if it wasn't for Hwang In Yeop, but still.

And while I'm simping over Seojun and crying in the corner, because of his heartbreak, I also can't stop thinking about Suho. He is written by the same people, but he is nowhere near being as interesting and fleshed out like Seojun. It seems that we know a lot of facts about him and his life, but we don't know H I M. What is he actually like? We see him acting mean or cold towards the others. We know he likes horror comics. We know he lost his mom and he has a terrible relationship with his father. But I never really felt like I know H I M, as a person. Being unhappy and having trauma is not a personality trait. Same with being in love.

I just feel like writers wanted to push Suho so much into the plot, that they forgot to make him actual human being first. I guess that's the reason why I could never liked him or root for him. I can understand him and his motivations, but I can't wiev him as a his own person, without his love for Jug and his trauma.

They seriously made such a huge flop with his character. Especially, when he is the main lead for this show. Shame on them.

The amount of love triangles is ... laughable. Does every character need 2 love interests? I’m tired of it. The script relies on repeating itself and I think we all know which scenes I mean. Every time there is a chance for deeper conversation they cut it short with comedy and it beats the whole purpose. I’m surprised as well, how did they manage to write for Seojun like this when they fail with everyone else. Inyeop manages to make Seojun come to life perfectly, it almost makes me cry. He does so many minuscule movements that are just Seojun-like in every way. I could sing his praises forever and ever and it would still not be enough. 

Same as you. I can’t wrap my head around it. They shove everything that could make him feel more human back and only keep pushing his trauma and coldness forward. Sometimes they sprinkle bit of kindness towards Jug. I don’t understand why they rely so much on the reader to just read into things on their own when it comes to a character that has this much screen time. 

They tie him too much to his love and trauma. I get exactly what you mean. If you take those two things away there is ... almost nothing left. How does he stand on his own compared to other characters? He feels like an extra sometimes.

It’s clear they had no idea how to write him. It’s a shame, because he deserved to be portrayed better. I hope at least now in the last episodes it would be somehow better? Not sure how well that’s going to go, but well...
