Heyya, I saw you open for a match up request, I'm hoping it's not close yet.
Fandom : Honkai star rail.
Preference: women
She/her
My sign is Virgo, and Mbti is INFP.
About myself, I'm not talking much in real life, more to listening person. I easily get bored of something(even games), what I never get bored about is listening to music, I didn't have a preference in the music, I listen to all of them lately I listen to haunted by Taylor swift and 505 artics monkey.
I like being alone, but not being lonely. Sometimes I need my space, and I appreciate every person who gave me that.
My love language is Act of service (Receive and give), like I said I'm not a big talker, act more important for me, I'll do anything they(my loved person) want, just say the word. Also, since childhood I always do anything alone without someone helping me, because when I ask for help, they only underestimate me, like "You can't do such a simple task like this? Blabla" and it makes me scared to ask for help till now, idk but my pride also won't allow me to ask for help and get underestimated by people. So I really hope my partner would understand me when I really need help but couldn't say it.
I'm a coffee addict, I love coffee so much. It makes me feel safe, and calm.
I am also a workaholic (that explains why I love coffee) I could do something I'm 3 days straight without rest.
My appearance is, I have long(not so long tho) wavy black hair, and my eyes are dark brown.
Anyway thank you and congratulations!
Heyy sweetie!!
I'm thinking...
.
.
.
TOPAZ
Two poor overworked girlfriends😭
Topaz is a sweet and gentle person (in a relationship), she understands your need for space and definitely doesn't complain, she'll just do something else while you're recharging, and will always be there when you're ready
She'll notice your behaviour and take note of it, so since she knows you're not the type of person to ask for help she'll just help you when she thinks you're struggling, she doesn't say anything or mention it in order not to make you feel awkward
As a workaholic herself, she gets extremely mad when you overwork yourself
She won't allow you to do such and will come and complain and badger you till you decide to stop
And if you think about work whilst relaxing, she will literally drag you out of the house on a date or a walk to get your mind off it
She's very busy, but she'll always find time to do small things for you, either cleaning up your desk, making you lunch, or leaving a small note by your workplace, she just wants you to know that she loves you

Courage (SOLS AU)
A full glass of whiskey sat untouched, it's caramel color glowing in the only light source - her scroll screen. The fight from the night prior still echoed in the growingly cavernous house she fought to call her home. When did it feel so big, so empty? Her soul longed for the cramped warmth of an apartment she used to share with...
The sense of loss, the memory of actually being happy, being in love had driven her from the bed she shared with James and to this scroll screen. Thinking she needed liquid courage, she had poured herself a healthy glass of whiskey.
Surprisingly, she found no need for the liquor. Pouring her heart, her thoughts, her needs on to the page had been cathartic, and, if she was honest, easy. Her finger hovered over the "send" button, suddenly embarrassed at her own words. The couch that had comfortably held her felt hard and awkward. Shuffling in the seat, she found herself glancing down the hallway to her daughter’s room.
Despite the pain, the anger, of the evening before, to open this door... She had no idea how Qrow would respond. He had seemed quite content at the party to speak sweetly to Topaz, to shower the married woman with attention. There had been no attempt to hide her own presence, and yet he had made no comment to her, no motion until she had escaped to the terrace...
***
It was no surprise that he had summoned to James office as soon as he had arrived at Atlas.
"Jimmy."
"Branwen."
The tension was thick in the air. It wasn't uncommon for the two to cross paths- Ozpin's inner circle was a small one and interdependent.
It didn't mean either man had to enjoy the interaction.
"How has Amber's training progressed?" True to character, the military man cut directly to the meat of the matter.
"It's... Doing. It's been difficult to break her of the regimented way that you and Glynda taught her. And when she does, she's been a challenge to balance her temper into acuity during battle."
A muscle twitched in the headmaster's jaw.
"Which is why we taught her in a regimented way-"
"-Which Oz felt needed to be supplemented with my style. Not every battle will be won by battle plans and strategy. Sometimes it's a matter of fight and flight.
It's something you never quite learned. It's also why Team STRQ always beat you."
"It's also why Team STRQ is in shambles across Remnant."
Qrow's eyes narrowed, as his shoulders set. The anger and shame associated with his role in the implosion of his team began to rise. Taking a small step back, he swallowed down the rising tide, and dismissed Jimmy's insinuation.
"We're not here to discuss Amber's training, or your personal distaste of me. Something has come up?"
"Yes. A rumour has been slipping through Atlas. Something about an uprising among the Faunus."
Qrow scoffed. "Good for them. Let Schnee face his own consequences."
"That's not your right to determine. The complaints against the SDC have not proven to be true, to this point. No," the headmaster turned back to his desk, pulling a data chip from a drawer. "The real issue is that within the rumour there is talk of an unknown source plying this faction of the White Fang with more dust and resources than they could acquire on their own."
Taking the chip, Qrow raised a brow. "Alright. So what role are you asking me to take on?"
"The source of the rumour is a high-ranking SDC member's wife. One who is known to enjoy the company of other men while her husband is away.
I need to know where this rumour is coming from and if there's any merit to it."
"So let me get this straight. You want me to woo a married woman to get more information about this rumour?"
The General scoffed as he turned back to his dark wooded desk.
"I doubt this is the first, nor will be the last time you've done it. At least this time it'll be for a good cause..."
Something clicked in the world weary man's brain. While there were many things in his life he wasn't proud of, even he had a line he refused to cross. But it was better to leave the General's preconceptions in place, and figure his own way around it.
And besides, Jimmy's negative perspective on Qrow's morals would at least allow him a good jab.
"Alright, Jimmy- she gonna be at this shindig of yours tonight?" Qrow reached for the data chip that Ironwood held out to him.
"Of course. And her husband is, in fact, out of town."
"Almost like you planned it."
"If anyone asks, I have no ties."
The wiry Huntsman nodded as he turned to the door. Halfway there, he looked over a shoulder brow raised.
"Speaking of married women- how's your lovely wife?"
The part of Qrow that he used to excuse himself from his guilt told him he just wanted the good jab at Jimmy. His conscience, his true self, knew better.
He wanted to know that Summer was happy and healthy.
Fire stoked in the General's eyes as the spoken insinuation hit home.
"Get. Out. Qrow."
Throwing a snide smile and a lazy two fingered salute, the lanky man disappeared out the door.
Of course she would be at the party. That was a factor he forgot.
She was stunning in navy blue, a sweeping dress draped tastefully over all the right curves. Just enough skin peeped through the hints of lace, and his thoughts strayed to old memories. It took all of his will to focus back on the tipsy woman at his elbow.
The older woman took in a long swig of her cocktail - some sickly sweet concoction - and let out a shrewish cackle at someone in the group’s borderline racist joke, before trying to turn what he assumed to be her attempt at a seductive glance to him.
“What do you think, Qrow, darling?”
He forced the disgust back and smirked in return. Helping her upright, he gently moved her to support herself against a nearby table.
"I think it's time to get you home..."
“So soon?” She purred
Chuckling, he deftly dodged her hands as she moved to cling to him.
“Definitely. Let me go call a car.”
Before she could protest, he moved out of the social circle, and slipped through the crowd, maintaining his facade of enjoyment. As soon as he slipped out the door onto the terrace, the mask fell and he clawed for the flask in his jacket pocket.
The coolness on his tongue followed by the warmth down his throat eased his nerves, and his discontent started to calm. Propping himself against the door frame, he rested his head back, opening his eyes to take in the clear, cold night. Steeling himself, he screwed the lid back on the flask, unseeing, and pulled off of the frame, only to stop.
Before him, at the edge of the terrace, overlooking the city of Atlas, Summer stood, back to him. The navy blue fabric took on the depth of the night sky, and he was struck. Shaking off the surprise, he slipped the flask back into his pocket. Hesitantly, he cleared his throat.
She didn’t move.
Cautiously, he tried again.
“Aren’t you a little underdressed for the cold?”
“I’m fine.”
Her tone was as icy as the night air. Qrow winced like it had been a physical blow. Refusing to leave on such a note, he pushed on.
“That’s... good. Um...” he rubbed the back of his neck, but couldn’t break his eyes from her. “You look beautiful.”
The words had slipped out easily, and he chastised himself for his indiscretion. This wasn’t Summer Rose, his teammate, his lover. This was Summer Rose-Ironwood. Wife of the headmaster of Atlas, quietly one of the most powerful women of Solitas.
Surprisingly, she turned. But the small hope he had that maybe she was open to friendly discussion was dashed at the look of distance in her eyes, and the blank expression on her face.
“Thank you. You seem to be enjoying yourself.”
With a sweeping gesture, he saw her encompass the intoxicated woman inside that he had been favoring. He dropped his head in defeat.
“It’s - it’s not like that, Sum...”
“It doesn’t matter.”
Pleading eyes met hers, and he stepped forward.
“Yes it does. It matters to me. That you know.” Words faltering and coming at intervals, the lanky man tried to express what he meant, but couldn’t without breaking his cover. Instead, he just sighed, crumpling again under her hard gaze.
“I must look like such an ass.”
An eyebrow rose, and she turned back again to the view.
“Well. I see no reason to argue that point.”
He took in a deep breath, and brought himself to his full height. There were things - many things - he knew he should have said years prior, but hadn’t. Those things came to him in the long sleepless nights, and haunted his memories. But the only thing that he knew he could say, that he should say, needed to be aired.
“I’m sorry, Summer.”
Her steely disposition slipped, and she rounded on him, eyes wide and flashing.
“You’re sorry? That’s the extent of it??” She hissed at him. “That’s all you have to say?!”
Stepping back, he cowered for a moment. But the pain hiding behind the anger in her eyes stopped him, and he set his heels and faced down the storm he caused. Tears gathered at the corners of her eyes. A warm hand cupped her jaw, and he met her wide, furious glare.
“I’m so sorry, Summer. I was wrong.”
“DAMN you!! You don’t get to pull this again! I know you, how you work, and I’m not going to get hurt by you again!”
He nodded.
“I know.” His words were soft, and he could feel his chest constrict. “I’ve screwed up. So much, in so many ways.”
“You have no idea.” Silver eyes flashed as she spit the words out. The fire in her gaze had started to tame, however, and she had yet to withdraw from his touch.
“I’m not looking to change anything, Sum. Just...” he sighed, and rested his forehead against hers. “Something I should have done a long time ago.”
Her breath was fast and hot, her cheeks flushed, and hot tears fell freely and they stood locked for a few moments in silence.
Qrow almost didn’t hear her when she spoke.
“If all you are is sorry, you need to go.”
He nodded.
“Yes ma’am.”
Gently, pulling back, he kissed her forehead. Turning away, he left her side, moving to the exit off of the terrace and out into the dark of the night. He paused.
“Summer...”
Her tear filled gaze had watched him leave, and as he spoke, they met his red eyes.
“I still mean what I said all those years ago. I will always love you. And I can’t tell you how sorry I am.”
Turning to leave again, he paused and nodded, his lips drawn into a thin line. He glanced back at her one more time to give her a small bittersweet smile, before turning back to the dark.
A few moments passed, and she slowly turned back to the banister of the terrace. Gripping its edge, the tears fell freely.
She choked back a sob, but when the second one hit, her knees failed her.
“Damn you, Qrow.”
***
The blinking cursor flashed in the darkness.
It was an odd color shift in the whiskey next to her with each flash, and she allowed her mind to be focused on the mundane fact that blue and caramel did not combine well in a crystal glass. Finally shaking off the distraction, the feelings came crashing down on her from earlier that night. Tears sprung to her eyes again, and with pure will, she forced them down. She had cried enough that night over Qrow.
She couldn’t do it. Not again. Her heart couldn’t take the pain anymore. Either she would send this note, this message, and reopen the option for pain, for more agony. Or she could stare down the unhappy marriage she found herself in, and give her daughter stability, certainty.
Making her choice, she closed her scroll with a snap, leaving the message unsent, and snatched up the whiskey in the same motion. She would need all the liquid courage she could muster.

I MAKE UP SWEET PEAS REAL NAME IN THIS!!!!!!
part 2 maybe?
the video was everywhere, whispering all around. you were the first one to get it, as it came from chuck. you were in the middle of study hall when your phone lit up in your backpack, a confused look on your face as you only ever talked to chuck twice for projects.
chuck clayton: Sorry you had to see this from me, but I always thought you were nice and needed to know the truth. I found Sweet Pea and this blonde chick in the back of pop’s dry humping. I didn’t know whether to tell you or not, but I knew I needed you to. I’m sorry. I’m in the gym if you need me.
y/n: i’ll be there soon.
“mr. hall, may i go to the library?”
“yes” he mumbled. you quickly got up from the seat and raced out the door, running to the gym. chuck quickly turns around and stops dribbling when he hears the doors open. you drop your bag and run over, hugging his sweaty body tightly, sobbing. his hand pets your hair and you hug chuck tightly.
you pull away and wipe your eyes, sitting on the bleachers. “please tell me everything you saw”
chuck softly sighed and sat next to you, placing his hand on your leg and rubbing his thumb over your knee. “i was at pop’s with josie in the back corner of the diner, and through the window i saw him and the chick. they were pressed against a dumpster, he was the one pressing her against it, as you saw in the video. i took some video evidence, but they didn’t just dry hump”
“they actually had sex” you whispered, and chuck removes his hand from your leg. you laugh and bow your head, shaking it. “god i’m so stupid!”
“no, you aren’t” chuck reassured and rubbed your back.
“you’re right, he is. he threw two years down the drain for some blonde bitch?”
“she.. also had on a serpent jacket” chuck added and you chuckled.
“even better” you whisper. “thanks for telling me chuck. i know we aren’t considered friends, but you did a really nice thing and i’d like for you to be my friend” you smile and he returns one back.
“i’d like that” he smiled. you two talked for a bit, nothing about sweet pea or the situation.
mid conversation, the bell rung. you and chuck got up, heading to your next class. everyone was staring at you and whispering, laughing or saying “i feel sorry for her”
“chuck.. did you give someone the video?” you turned to him and he shook his head, jaw clenched.
“someone else must’ve taken the video, because this is from an angle from the ground” he got the video himself and tears flooded your eyes again.
“y/n? y/n!” sweet pea’s voice rung in your ears and it just made you more upset. “y/n i-” he placed a hand on your shoulder put you shoved it away.
“fuck you, you’re such a piece of shit! if you wanted a different girl, you should’ve just broke it off! two fucking years, stephen, two years and you just threw that away for some girl, when i wasn’t there because i was visiting my brother in the fucking hospital!” your throat burned from your shouting, chuck holding your arm. “we’re fucking done. you make me sick”
you pulled your arm from chuck’s grip and ran out the doors, stopping at your bike and holding on, falling to the ground and shaking violently as you sob. “hey, hey, y/n”
“no, chuck! don’t! i don’t want to be here anymore, i can’t be” you stand up and get on your bike, driving to the white wyrm. you kill the engine and walk inside, fp sitting at the bar with fangs who had previously come home a couple days ago.
both looked at you and you could tell by their faces that they saw the video. “y/n..” fp started, but you started crying again and sulked over to him, holding onto your dad tightly. “i’ll kill him, no one hurts my little girl”
you didn’t respond, you just held onto him, fangs’s fingers running up and down your back. “i just don’t understand what i did to deserve this. i always treated him with such love and respect”
“i know why he did it” fangs said and you wiped your nose, looking at him. “penny got her revenge”
“then why was he the one pinning her against the dumpster and not her pinning him? penny’s dead, stop covering for him, stop protecting him! he fucked up!” you yelled and fp held you tighter, picking you up and taking you to a room.
“his head’s mine” fp wiped his beard and you sighed.
“no, dad, it’s fine” you shook your head and fp dropped his hand.
“fine? baby girl he broke your heart! you’re my daughter and i can’t let that slide. i’m the king, i get to decide” fp ran his fingers through his hair. the wyrm doors open and sweet pea rushes in, fp immediately stands up in front of you.
“fp, please, i need to-”
“what you need to do is get out” fp gritted through his teeth, sweet pea looking at him and swallowing.
“what?”
“you’re out of the serpents for a week” fp growled and your head picks up.
“what? dad, no, the serpents are his life, he can’t-”
“i don’t care! you hurt my daughter, or any of my other serpents, you get a consequence. out!” fp yelled. sweet pea was never one to show emotions, but at this point he was crying.
he handed fp his jacket and sulked out of the wyrm. fp handed you sweet pea’s jacket and you held the jacket tightly in your fingers.
“he deserves it, baby. no one gets away with hurting you or any other of you, that’s why penny’s dead” his kissed your red cheeks and you get up, look at the doors.
sweet pea’s heart shattered as he walked into his trailer, flipping over the coffee table and screaming.
he was mad. mad at himself that he let himself do that to the whom he thought he would one day marry and have kids with. but because she was being a good sister and he was horny, he ruined both of their lives.
she didn’t deserve this, none of it. she loved him with all she had.
he deserved it. he deserved every last consequence he got, getting tossed out of the serpents, he deserved it for life. he didn’t deserve to be living on the serpent turf, he didn’t deserve it. he deserved more consequences than he got.
sweet pea drank his way to depression, drinking so much he couldn’t see straight anymore and his stomach was in pain. but not as much as his heart. he felt awful for what he did to y/n, and he was going to let it be known.

Will You Love The Real Me?
Sweet Pea x Reader
Requested: Yes! - Idk if your taking requests or not but i love your series im here now and i wanted to know if you’d take this? Could you do one where SP is dating a closted reader (bi or pan) and she’s like affriad to tell him or somthing. Thx
Summary: Sweet Pea and Y/N broke up because she was keeping secrets, but no one could figure out what they were. Well until Toni convinces Fangs to go with her to a club in Greendale.
Pairings: Sweet Pea x Female!Bisexual!Reader
Words: 2,387
Warnings: swearing, homophobia/biphobia, hints at being closeted, mentions of gay conversion, underage(?), angst (?), a French word (?) (It means Please)
A/N: First off, this is my first request! But like lowkey, it’s 3:30AM, I just got inspired out of the blue and wrote this. Fuck knows why. I hope this is what you were looking for my dude, this is what I got.
Edit: I’m rereading this and it’s so extra omfg, but like also not really based on Riverdale standards...
[Y/N] - Your name
[Y/L/N] - Your last name
[Y/N/N] - Your nickname
Disclaimers: I own nothing but the plot and the OC’s / Not my Gif, credits to the owner
“This is depressing,” Toni said as she assessed her friends pouting at her bar.
Fangs had just been dumped by some guy he didn’t want any of them to know about and Sweet Pea had just broken up with his girlfriend.
Neither Fangs nor Toni were really close with her, but they both knew Sweet Pea thought she was going to stick.
“Yeah well you still have miss ‘Bombshell’, so you have no room to talk Topaz,” Sweet Pea grumbled as he pushed off the bar and headed for the pool table.
“Do you even know what happened? I thought things were good between the two of them?” She whispered at Fangs.
“Not really, he said something about her keeping secrets but that could just be him being paranoid.”
Toni sighed, watching as her friend sat face down on the bar.
“Alright well I can’t do anything about him but you’re coming out with me and Cheryl this weekend.”
“And just why would I do that?” Fangs asked, rolling his head to the side.
“Because I know you have a fake and Cheryl happens to know of a fun club we can hit up in Greendale.”
“And why aren’t we bringing Pea?”
“Not really his scene...” She edged around the meaning, not wanting to say anything too loud.
Fangs got the real meaning though.
“Yeah, fine I guess.”
XXX
Fangs could feel the bass from inside the club pumping as they waited in line.
“You’re sure we won’t see anyone we know?” He asked, not wanting to see anyone from Riverdale.
Toni nodded her head as her girlfriend talked to the bouncer, “I swear. We’re clear on the other side of Greendale.”
They passed by the bouncer fairly easy, all of them looking the part and all being really attractive.
Fangs spent the first bit chilling against the wall, watching Toni dance with a few other people, Cheryl has disappeared to the bar. He sipped his drink as the lights flashed in his eyes and he felt the beat in his chest.
One girl caught his attention seeing as she was sandwiched between two other girls and was heavily grinding on them as she laughed and had an all-around good time.
He smiled, maybe this place could be fun.
Then he saw her face and his own went pale and he ran to pull Toni off the girl she was with.
“What?! I like this song!” She grumbled loudly over the music.
“You said we wouldn’t know anyone here!”
“We don’t!”
“Really?!” He pointed directly at the girl he was just looking at.
Toni’s eyes bug out.
“[Y/N]...”
They watched her move and grind, singing along with the song before she spotted them, her skin draining of all it’s color.
She pushed off the girls and hurried across the floor, fast, rushing out the door.
“Did Pea know?” Toni wonders.
“I don’t think so...”
XXX
[Y/N] sat in her car where it was parked in a random lot.
She wanted to cry.
She did cry.
This club was her only safe place. The only place she could be herself. The only place that Riverdale wasn’t.
She could never face any of them again. The two would tell Sweet Pea the first chance they got, she was sure.
Her parents would find out and ship her off again.
XXX
“What do you mean?! Bisexual?!”
“Mom, I-”
“Do not speak to your mother!” Her father had yelled. “I will not have this...this nonsense in my house.”
“What are you talking about-?”
“Shut up!” Her father slapped her across the face.
“I don’t know who you are, but you’re not my daughter.”
“Yes I am, I’m still me!” [Y/N] pleaded, tears streaming down her cheeks
“No, you’re not. You’re somebody else. Somebody, I don’t recognize. You’re nothing but a worthless sinner.” Her father spoke at her with a look of disgust on his face, her mother staring at the floor.
“I can’t help it...” She cried quietly, fallen to the floor.
The two left the room and didn’t speak to her.
They didn’t say a word the next morning as she was taken forcefully by two large men.
They stayed silent as she was pricked with the needle and sedated.
They only nodded when a Sister told them she’d be in good hands and fix their daughter.
“She’ll be cured in no time, you caught it early.” She’d reassured them as [Y/N]’s mother cried.
“You do whatever you need, as long as that...thing doesn’t come back into my house.”
“Of course not, Mr. [Y/L/N].”
XXX
“I still don’t understand what happened,” Cheryl spoke and she got ready for bed.
“I told you, we saw someone we knew and Fangs just wasn’t feeling it. Not in the clubbing mood.”
“Well, who’d you see?” She pushed.
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Why can’t I know? I’m not going to tell anyone, I mean, not if you don’t want me to.”
Toni sighed and face planted into a pillow before coming up for air and sighing again, “Fine. But you can’t tell anyone, not even Sweet Pea.”
Cheryl raised her left hand and put her right one on her chest, above her heart, “I swear on Nana Rose’s life.”
Toni rolled her eyes a little, her girlfriend was a drama queen, to say the least.
“Sweet Pea’s ex. [Y/N] [Y/L/N].”
Cheryl didn’t say anything and had turned away so Toni couldn’t see her reaction.
“Huh. Wouldn’t have thought she swung that way. Although her being on the softball team through junior high and freshmen year might’ve been a clue.”
Toni snorted, “Yeah I guess.”
XXX
[Y/N] stood at her locker, hugging her books close to her.
“[Y/N]. Lovely to see you, a word s'il vous plaît,” Cheryl slid up next to her.
The girl gave a little nod and began to follow the redhead to the girl's bathroom, passing the trio of serpents and watching them watch her and Cheryl.
She connected eyes with Sweet Pea and remembered when things had started between the two.
XXX
She had been back for two weeks when she met him.
She’d found walking around distracted her from her troubling thoughts.
She’d somehow made it to the southside.
“I think you’re a little lost there, Princess.” He’d spoke, his voice deep and gravely.
Masculine, She thought.
They kept running into each other the next week before he asked her out for real. It was another two weeks before she told her parents.
“I’m dating someone,” they looked up, concerned. “A boy.”
Smiles spread across their faces.
“That’s great sweetheart, I’m so proud of you.” He mother spoke, but she could hear the undertone of what her mother was thinking ‘Thank god it’s not a girl. My little girl is normal again.’
“When do we get to meet him?” Her father asked, ruffling the newspaper in his hands.
[Y/N] rung her hands together, “I don’t know, he’s...from the southside...”
She prepared for the backlash but her father only laughed.
“I don’t care where he’s from as long as he makes you happy.” She heard the same undertone from her father as he emphasized the ‘proper pronouns’.
XXX
As the two girls entered the bathroom Cheryl glared at the other girls occupying the room.
“Go. Leave. Get out.”
The others ran out as fast as they could. As soon as she was sure they were alone, the ginger girl went off.
“Are you okay? Did anyone know you went last night? Did you see anyone you knew or who knew you?” Cheryl questioned.
The two’s times at The Sisters of Quiet Mercy had overlapped, [Y/N] having been there much longer than Cheryl. They had a strange bond, but it was a bond nonetheless.
“I saw Toni and Fangs,” [Y/N] spoke quietly, used to speaking softly when she felt like she was being berated.
“Hey, speak up. I gave you the name of that club for a reason. You stand tall and be proud,” Cheryl ordered.
“I don’t know...”
“Stand Tall. Be proud.”
[Y/N] stood up straight and looked a little less nervous.
“That’s my girl,” Cheryl praised. “Did he know?”
[Y/N] slouched a little and shook her head, talking about him made her sad.
She really did like him, she just couldn’t talk about what happened with him.
She got squirely around Toni, in fear of Cheryl having told her. She avoided questions. She avoided bringing him over to meet her parents. She dodged the pointed statements and left at any suggestive comments. It was too much for him. He’d assumed she just didn’t like his friends or being around the serpents as a whole and broke up with her because of that.
Oh if only he knew the truth, She thought
“Tell him.”
Cheryl’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
“What?!” She hissed incredulously.
“He won’t think of you any different, he certainly won’t tell anyone, and he won’t be angry. Well, he might want to kill your parents, but that’s if I don’t get there first.”
“Cheryl...”
“Tell him, [Y/N]. You’ll feel better, I promise.”
“Cheryl he doesn’t want to talk to me.”
“Make him listen.”
XXX
“Sweet Pea...” [Y/N] hesitated quietly in front of his desk. He looked up at her, but a movement from behind him caught her eye. Cheryl sat a few rows back, mouthing and motioning their little motto.
“Stand tall and be proud.”
“What, [Y/N]?”
“Can we talk?”
“I don’t really-”
Cheryl's words rung through her ears, “Make him listen.”
She stood straight up and interrupted him, “We need to talk.”
He sighed, “Alright fine.”
“After school,” She continued on with authority. He nodded.
As soon as they agreed to meet by his bike she wandered off behind him and slumped next to Cheryl.
“That was exhausting.”
“I, for one, am proud. I’ve never seen that from you.”
“Yeah, there’s a reason for that...”
“Oh hush, just live in the moment [Y/N/N].”
XXX
She walked out and found him standing against his bike.
Once he spotted her, he moved.
“Let’s get this over with.”
They drove down to Sweetwater River where the two sat next to the water. Staying quiet for a good five minutes.
“I thought you wanted to talk”
“I’m trying!” she exploded, feeling pressured as is.
It shocked Sweet Pea but he found he liked it. It felt like she was being real for the first time.
He wanted more of it.
“Well try a little harder otherwise I’m out of here.”
She could feel her nerves igniting.
“Well maybe if you weren’t such a jerk I’d be more inclined to talk.”
Yes, this is what he wanted. Real raw emotions. She never got mad at him before, he loved it.
“Oh yeah? So I was a jerk the entire time we were together? Because you never talked to me then.”
She was already on edge, not really wanting to do this, and he wasn’t helping. She was getting angrier and losing control.
“Yeah, actually! You know what, you were. I couldn’t trust you with shit! I wanted to! But no! You were always off talking with your buddies, going on and on about some bullshit you heard from someone about something so pointless and meaningless that literally, no one gave a single fuck about it, not even you!”
Just as she exploded, the sky did the same, drenching them both in a matter of minutes.
He was astounded. No words.
She had never been like this before and it felt like that was a completely different person now, like she wasn’t his ex, but a whole new person that he was certain he could fall for.
“Trust me with what? Bullshit gossip about your little River Vixen friends? Thanks but I’ll pass,” He could help but antagonize her.
She groaned, “Ugh! God, I can’t believe you! I’m trying to tell you something-!”
“Then just spit it out-!”
“I’m Bisexual!” She yelled, matching the sound of the thunder above them.
He was taken aback by her confession, his face free of any anger or taunting but full of shock.
She sighed and buried her face in her hands, going on to explain everything. How her parents reacted, how she was sent away, what happened with The Sister’s, how her time overlapped with Cheryl’s, why she avoided everyone, just everything, all of it leading up to the moment Toni and Fangs caught her at the club.
They were both soaked to the bone. Sweet Pea grabbed her and carefully drove them back to his trailer.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He asked quietly after giving her a change of dry and warm clothes.
“I’m telling you now!” She was still angry, but he didn’t want that anymore.
“Why didn’t you tell me before?”
“I didn’t trust you before. I didn’t trust anyone,” She muttered, looking down at the sleeve she was playing with.
“Why now?”
“Because...”
“Just because?”
She huffed, “Look, Cheryl convinced me. Told me you weren’t going to shun me or get mad or tell my parents or something...” She trailed off towards the end.
“And you thought I would’ve before?” He was only a little hurt. They hadn’t actually been together long, but to him, three months felt like a really long time.
“No. Maybe. I don’t know. I didn’t think my parents were going to ship me off to gay conversion camp against my will, but shit happens.”
He chuckled.
“What?”
“Nothing, you just never swore before today. I like it. It feels real.”
[Y/N] smiled, maybe they still had a shot, maybe she didn’t blow it just yet

Who Are You? - Part 2
The story continues! This one is a little longer than the previous chapter. I decided to name the first person character. Hope that doesn’t throw any of you out of the story. Would love feedback/criticism.
Warnings: girl is in the hospital because she was drugged, some swearing.
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4
I was sitting in the waiting room 7 hours later. I had rushed Gen to the Emergency Room, knowing that she would be mad when she woke up, but I knew how important it was to go get medical help before it was too late. The staff had been taking care of her since we arrived. They told me 2 hours ago that she was doing well, but they also said that they were going to pump her stomach.
I anxiously picked at the skin around my thumbnail. It had begun bleeding about 3 hours in, and I was just making it worse. I couldn’t help how anxious I felt. I had hated hospitals since I was a kid and had seen my grandmother slip away in one. She had been my rock and the only real family member I had ever had. My mother was still around, but she was either at work or off somewhere drinking herself into a stupor. I had been fending for myself since my grandmother Esther left me.
I hated the smell of this place more than anything - mint Tic Tacs and sadness was the best description. I glanced around at the sparse décor. The drab colors and uncomfortable chairs didn’t add to my comfort.
I had tried to call Gen’s brother to let him know what was going on. So far, he hadn’t answered my voicemail or my 13 text messages. I wasn’t really that surprised. It was early on a Saturday morning, and he was probably still drinking and getting high with his friends. He was only 20 but he was technically Gen's legal guardian, and the hospital needed to talk to him. I checked my phone for the 400th time. Nothing.
When I looked up, the doctor was walking towards me with a smile on her face.
"You're here with Genevieve Wong?" she asked, already knowing the answer. The waiting room was not very full.
"Yes. How is she doing? Can I see her?" I demanded, jumping to my feet.
"She's doing very well, and yes. She is sleeping right now, but she was awake for a few hours and she knows what's going on."
I sighed with relief, following the doctor as she led me to Gen’s room. I paused in the doorway, taking in the sight of my friend. I made myself comfortable beside her as she slept.
I hoped she wasn’t too mad about coming here. I know most people would have just brought her home and dealt with her there, but I wasn’t taking that chance in case whatever that guy had slipped her was toxic. I had a bunch of money saved up from working at a gas station in town, and I would try to help pay her bills if she needed it.
As I ruminated, I felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out quickly, hoping that Kyle had responded, and was surprised to see that Sweet Pea had texted me.
“You good?” said the abrupt message.
“All is well. Pumped her stomach and she’s just sleeping now,” I replied quickly.
The butterflies in my stomach were back despite the fact that he had only said two words to me. I hadn’t stopped thinking about how kind he had been last night. I still didn’t understand, but considering I’d never talked to him before, I kept assuming that his reputation was just grossly out of proportion.
He didn’t respond within the next couple minutes, so I started scrolling through my conversation with Rosa and Scotty, two of the other girls from the party and two of my best friends. They were concerned about Gen but were waiting to come visit if we were still there when they sobered up and got some sleep.
The lack of sleep was starting to hit me. I hadn’t eaten anything since supper last night, and I was exhausted now that the initial fear was leaving my system. I drifted off to sleep, sitting upright in the uncomfortable chair.
Later, I awoke to Gen talking with the nurses. I groggily checked my phone, noting that I had been asleep for around an hour. Gen turned to me with concern on her face as the nurses left the room.
“What happened, Char?”
I swallowed the lump in my throat and began to describe the events of last night. She listened attentively, holding her temples as she heard that she had been drugged. At the end of my story, I trailed off, unsure what to say.
“And a Serpent helped me??” she said in confusion. “I didn’t think the Serpents were usually interested in the all-school parties.”
I shrugged. I had wondered that myself but had been too distracted to actually ask Sweet Pea why he was there. I had seen one or two other Serpents milling around the crowd too. While they did very rarely go to the parties, they never stayed long and really only seemed interested in finding out if there was free booze.
Gen shivered beneath her hospital gown and blanket. I got up.
“Are you feeling ok?” I asked with concern.
“Yeah, I’m physically better than ever, thanks to you,” she laughed shakily, “but I’m just thinking about that creep who did this.” She lifted her eyes from her lap to meet mine. “I don’t want to press charges. I don’t want to think about it any more than I’m already going to.”
I nodded. I could understand that. I reached out and gently held her hand.
“It’s ok. Do what you have to do. Sweet Pea seemed to be taking care of it in a non-violent way for now, but hey, we could always ask him to beat the guy up, right?” I tried to sound cheery, like maybe I was actually joking.
She laughed, a genuine smile crossing her lips. “How did you convince him not to beat the guy up on the spot? Or did he just not care enough because he doesn’t know me?”
I quickly shook my head. “The guy got away while he was trying to get to you, and then he stayed with you until I had you in the car.” I hesitated for a moment before adding, “He was actually being very nice last night. It was....jarring, to say the least.”
Gen was looking at me with curious eyes, but she just nodded. “Very nice of him. Though, for all their faults, I don’t think you could really accuse the Serpents of mistreating women. Especially compared to the misogynistic Ghoulies.”
That was very true. The Serpents treated the women around them as equals, though that did sometimes seem kind of scary when it came to things like physical violence. Still, drugging someone definitely didn’t seem like something they would be ok with.
We were interrupted by the doctor returning to let us know that Gen could check out now. Her brother had arrived and was signing the necessary forms. I got up to go talk to Kyle while the nurses helped Gen get dressed.
I saw him standing by the front desk. He was weaving slightly as he squinted at the paperwork. I stalked up to him, shooting him an icy grin when he looked up.
“Well look who it is. What hellhole did you just fall out of?” I said scornfully.
Kyle and I were not friends. I didn’t approve of his immature choices and his awful lifestyle. He was responsible for Gen, and Gen really needed him. She looked to him for advice, even though she knew how terribly screwed up his own life was.
“Better than the hellhole you crawled from. Why the fuck did you bring that slut to a hospital? She coulda slept it off. That’s more than she deserves.”
I raised my hand to slap him but decided it wasn't even worth the energy. My blood was boiling. I couldn't talk to this man-child if that was his attitude. I had never known Kyle to change an opinion once it had formed. I spun on my heel and hurried back to Gen’s room, so mad that I could barely see. I walked around the corner and ran straight into a thick chest.
“Oooofff-“
Two large hands reached out to steady me. I looked up and found Sweet Pea staring at me with an amused smirk twisting his lips. He was wearing the same leather Serpents jacket from last night and jeans just tight enough to hint at the shape of his thighs. His silky black hair was raked back from his face. He looked amazing.
Beside him were two of his friends. I recognized Toni Topaz and Fangs Fogarty from school. I looked at the three of them, mouth working but no words falling out.
Toni smiled at me and stuck out a hand. “Toni. I’m in your English lit class.”
I shook her hand, feeling very formal and awkward. “Charlotte.”
“We just came because we heard you were still here. We wanted to see how your friend is doing and see if you needed any help,” she continued.
I blinked, still confused as to why they wanted to be here.
“Umm, well Gen is doing fine now. We’re actually just checking out now that her brother showed up.”
I was still enraged from Kyle’s words, and I’m sure that seeped into my words. I noticed Fangs raise his eyebrows and Sweet Pea frown.
“Do you guys want to say hi before she heads home?” I asked to fill the silence.
“Sure,” Toni said with an easy smile.
She elbowed Sweet Pea and he quickly grunted affirmation as well.
I led them to Gen’s room, pausing to see if she was dressed and if she wanted to say hi. Her eyes grew round and large at the mention of three Serpents standing outside her doorway. She swallowed and nodded.
I opened the door the rest of the way to let Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Toni in. Toni gushed over Gen while the boys stood behind stoically. Finally, Gen looked at Sweet Pea.
“Char told me what you did. Thank you. Really. This morning would have been a whole lot worse if you hadn’t stepped in when you did.”
Sweet Pea seemed extremely uncomfortable at her words, and I could tell that Gen was anxious. I ended the visit there, leading them back into the hall so Gen could grab the rest of her stuff.
“Thanks for coming,” I said uncertainly.
“No problem at all! Right, Sweets?” Toni elbowed Sweet Pea again and gave him a knowing look.
Sweet Pea looked at me and cleared his throat. “Yeah, no problem. Glad she’s ok.”
With that, they moved to leave. As they walked past me, Sweet Pea paused and leaned closer to my ear.
“Is she going to talk to the cops?” he whispered.
I shook my head in response. All the air had left my lungs at his close proximity.
He nodded grimly. “Do you want me to take care of it?”
I hesitated, remembering Gen’s laugh at the same suggestion. But I also remembered the things Kyle said and how it made my blood boil to think someone would hurt one of my friends. I nodded tersely.
He didn’t seem surprised. He told me it would be taken care of appropriately, and then he followed after his friends.
I stared down the hall, watching them until they were out of sight.
I drove the three of us home in Kyle’s truck, not trusting Kyle’s sobriety. He fell asleep on the short 10-minute drive to their small home, so I was glad I did. We arrived to find Rosa, Scotty, and Sarah sitting on the steps. They rushed to Gen, enveloping her in hugs and kisses as they helped me collect her things. We left Kyle sleeping in the car, mostly out of spite, but partly because he was known for punching people who woke him up.
When Gen was safely tucked into bed with snacks and drinks surrounding her, I asked if the girls minded if I went home. I was bone-tired and needed to rest. The girls assured me that they would take the best care of Gen, and Gen pushed me to go home to sleep. She hugged me and thanked me again, tearing up. I couldn’t help but tear up as well.
I walked home, arriving at the small two-bedroom bungalow shortly. I pushed open the door and headed straight to my room. My mom didn’t appear to be home, and that was alright with me. I fell into bed, pulling off the party clothes I had been wearing for about 13 hours at this point, glad at the lack of restriction. I didn’t bother finding my pajamas, preferring to slip under my covers and fall instantly asleep.
I woke up many hours later. The sun was in a different place in the sky, sending shadows across my small room. I groggily sat up, still feeling tired. I noticed my phone buzzing as it rang beside me on the bed. It was Sweet Pea.
I answered while leaning against the wall behind my bed. It was warm and cozy here, and I didn’t want to let the cool air hit my bare skin.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Char.”
I started. It was the first time he’d called me by name, and he’d used my nickname. Somehow, that felt right.
He continued, “I found our man. I have a plan for him that he’s not going to enjoy all too much.” He hesitated. “Do you want to help?”
He added the last sentence as if he wasn’t sure he wanted to offer the option. Well, I wasn't going to let that discourage me.
“I want in. What do I have to do?”
There was a moment of silence as he considered my response.
“I’ll pick you up and we can discuss it. You live in the bungalows by the bank, right?”
My mouth fell open. “Umm, yees...number 7.”
How the hell would he know that?
“See ya in three,” he responded, the roar of his motorcycle engine filling the line before he cut it off.
Three minutes?! I leaped out of bed, running for the bar on the wall which held my clothes. Thankfully, I didn’t have a whole lot of choice. I whipped on the first tee and hoodie I touched, pulling on my favorite black leggings as well. I had just dashed to my mirror and swiped a brush through my unruly hair when I heard a firm knock on the door. I froze for a moment, excited and anxious in equal parts. Realizing I’d have morning breath, I grabbed a pack of gum out of the kitchen as I bolted to the front door, popping a piece into my mouth. I took a deep breath as I stood with my hand on the handle. I pulled open the door just as he was raising his hand to knock again, looking peeved. Sweet Pea’s eyebrows lifted as he took in the sight of me.
“Is that your beating-up-scum outfit?”
“Not really. This is my I-wear-the-same-thing-everyday outfit,” I retorted sassily. Despite the anxiety, I was feeling ready to take on Sweet Pea and his many moods.
Or so I thought. This mood was not the same as the one from last night, nor was it the mood he’d had at the hospital.
He smirked, his tongue darting out to lick his lower lip. “Is that so? Because I definitely don’t remember ever seeing you dressed like you were last night. And believe me, I would have remembered.”
I felt my mouth open but I couldn’t think of anything to say in response to that. After a moment of stumbling over my tongue, I managed to say, “Um well those clothes were my friends’ clothes. They thought I should dress up. I don’t really go to parties so I don’t have any fancy clothes.”
“I know,” he threw out nonchalantly. “Now come on, we have work to do.”
I hurried after him and his long strides. How was he so tall? I’m considered average and it felt like he was almost a foot taller than me.
“What do you mean, you know?” I demanded. “Is my loser status that well known across the whole school?”
I was feeling insulted. Just because I don’t like parties doesn’t mean that I don’t have any friends. What exactly were people saying about me? I didn’t usually care but found myself really wanting to know what Sweet Pea had heard about me.
He glanced down at me and shrugged. “I just know you don’t go to many of the parties. You probably only go to as many as I do throughout the year.”
That was probably true. Despite how infrequently the Serpents attended the parties, I swear I’d seen one of them at all five of the parties I’d been to this year. It still felt weird to hear that people I didn’t know were aware of how frequently I party. Yeah, ok, I knew that same fact about the Serpents, but I could justify that because they were a group and that was their group behavior.
We arrived at his bike on the street. He handed me a helmet which I put on without a fight. I’d been driving and riding along on motorcycles since I was 13, and if the driver hands you a helmet, you put it on.
I climbed on behind him, hanging on very strategically. I didn’t want to touch him as much as I could help it. I didn’t want him to think that I was brushing against him to feel him up. I wish. I pursed my lips, horrified at the direction my thoughts seemed to take when I was around him.
I heard Sweet Pea chuckle as he started the engine. I narrowed my eyes, about to ask him what he was laughing about when we were suddenly taking off down the street, going much faster than necessary and much faster than I had prepared for. I instinctively grabbed his hips as we neared a corner. He felt warm and strong in front of me despite the cool air rushing past. His large body protected me from most of the elements.
All too soon, we arrived at our destination by the bodega. We slid off the bike together. I handed the helmet back, refusing to look him in the eye. I had clung to him like a baby, and I’d enjoyed every second of it.
“Ready to hand down some justice?” he asked cheekily.
I finally peeked up at his face. He was smirking again, looking entirely too pleased. I narrowed my eyes as I considered his driving. He had wanted to throw me off, make he hold on tighter. If he wanted to play a game, I would play as well.
Staring directly into his dark brown eyes, I licked my lips and bit my bottom one slightly. “I live for it,” I said breathily.
His eyes darkened as he gazed at me silently, his smirk slowly slipping. He stepped closer to me and leaned down. “You don’t know it yet, but you’re playing with fire,” he said solemnly.
I hesitated for a moment. Was he still playing the game, or was that a genuine warning? I leaned closer until our faces were inches apart. “I think you’re the one who might get burned here.”
His eyes dropped to my lips for a split second before he drew in a shaky breath and took a few steps back. Sweet Pea shook his head, seeming angry. “I knew this wasn’t going to work. I should never have invited you!”
The words stung. He had initiated this game, and now he was mad that I was playing along? I swallowed hard. “I’m here because it was my friend that this guy hurt, and I’m not letting him get away with that.” I turned on my heel, walking towards the nearest building.
I heard Sweet Pea huff some air through his teeth before I felt his hand on my arm. “Wrong way, princess.”
I instantly froze at the tone of his voice and the use of that pet name. Princess? I couldn't imagine anyone else ever calling me that, but I didn't really mind that Sweet Pea had. He sounded chastened. I searched his face.
“I’m sorry. I have some things to talk to you about, but I don’t want to get distracted once we have the guy. I don’t want him to get away or...hurt you, ok?” he said in a rush.
I agreed. "Let's get him then."
What things did Sweet Pea have to tell me? I felt afraid but also very intrigued.
