We know from "what I like?" and "I'm the monster" that in season 1, El neither knows nor loves herself.
To have ANY relationship stay the same for her as it was in season 1 would be a disservice to her character, a statement that she has not, in fact, completely detached herself from that place.
In the finale episode, you demonstrate that you are not the same person you were then. If in season 1 she falls in love with Mike and in season 5's finale she's still with Mike in the same way, no visible to changes to someone watching out of context, they have failed at their job.
If El isn't supposed to be the same person she was when she fell in love with Mike, which we know to be true, then she should not have the same relationship with him either. To even be able to have a relationship that is identical to the one she had then would be to say that at least part of her is unchanged from the person that neither knew nor loved herself.
Mike and El could have been a slowburn that was achieved BY her learning to know and love herself.
It wasn't.
They fell in love when she didn't know who she was and thought of herself as horrible. You can only go downhill from there.
#looking at it from a binge perspective which is the format this is intended for#that's obvious#no one goes in and sees a couple that gets together in episode 8 of 42 and thinks 'this is going to end well' especially with this context#as children they have very limitied milestones to be able to get through that would warrant leaving that much room for their story#early show couples like wayhaught who got together in episode 9 were adults and had milestones like sex living together and marriage#they have 'i love you' and that's literally it#anyone going in knows you don't need 34 episodes for 'i love you'#they stretched it out and still only got 12#which is STRETCHING it#elmike analysis#el hopper analysis#anti milkvan

My favorite ships ranked!
There's a huge chance this list will change once every two days at the very least, but let's do it!
1. SUPERCORP
Literally my favorite ship ever. They're just perfect for each other in every possible way. Their love languages complement each other perfectly, they can rely on each other, and they work together like the best team in the world. Lena needs love and Kara knows how to offer it without asking for anything in exchange. She will take whatever Lena is willing to give her and be happy about it. But Kara still needs someone that will look at her and see who she really is, no judgment, and someone who she will be comfortable being herself - Kara Zor El - with.
Speaking of fanfic, I think it’s safe to say these fandom has some very talented authors who gave us very well written works. They can also work in every possible scenario, so that's a huge bonus.
Favorite scene: "Supergirl might have saved the city, but, Kara Danvers, you're my hero."
2. SHOOT
Shoot is THAT couple that should have ended up together, but didn’t. I don't hold a grudge on it, though, because Root's death made sense to the show's ongoing plot. I can't say they would be perfect like Supercorp because Shaw has some emotional problems and Root is just also in love with a artificial intelligence or whatever, but they would work. Shaw would try - for Root - and Root would love every part that Shaw allows her to see.
Favorite scene: "You can't live with me and I can't live without you."
3. WAYHAUGHT
Do I even have to say anything? Our most perfect CANON couple. They were perfect from start to finish. The way Nicole absolutely adored Waverly, almost like a worship even, but wasn’t afraid to stand tall on her ideas and opinions. The way Waverly acted like Nicole hung the moon and stars in the sky just for her, and how we know she would be able to do anything to keep Nicole happy. They're that couple that make everyone's teeth rotten with how sweet they are.
Favorite scene: "You guys make The Notebook look bleak."
4. CABENSON
One of my favorite gay ships, so it has a special place in my heart. In the early seasons, it's pretty clear, at least for me, that Alex and Olivia could have something going on. I believe they were both shoving it away because none of them was ready to get seriously involved with anyone and they knew that whatever they decided to have would be too special to be treated lightly. Unfortunately, time was cut short for them when Alex got pulled away for WitSec.
I do think they will forever be each other's "almost", or "what if", but they're long past that now. They changed too much and they did it separately. If they were together, they would have changed around each other and, possibly, be able to work those differences to stay together. But now I don't think they would be able to keep a relationship. It's a bit sad, but it's also a very good portrait of reality.
Favorite scene: "You like being back on court, don't you?"
5. BISHOVA
I'm new to this ship, but I already love it. They remind me a lot of Shoot, actually. We just know that Yelena needs to find someone who would love her with no restrictions and that she deserves to find love. And Kate needs someone able to ground her, but also someone who allows her to be as silly as she wants, someone that will always have her back, doesn't matter how insane her plans might be. They have chemistry too. Also, I can see them getting together with no drama at all, or maybe something they can easily solve, and then being together for the rest of their lives to the point that they can't even remember a time they didn’t know each other. We didn’t get to see them that much, sadly, but I keep my hopes up for more scenes of them in the future.
Favorite scene: "You have one fork?"
6. FLEURMIONE
Okay, two intelligent and beautiful women together? Sign me in! I've been in Harry Potter's fandom for many, many, years now and, after giving it too much thought, I can safely say that Fleur would be the perfect match for Hermione. She would challenge Hermione, they would have endless discussions about any and every subject, they would have enough books together to fill up a library, and they would make each other want to be better every day. I also see Fleur being a bit sarcastic and Hermione keeps rolling her eyes at her at least fifteen times a day.
Fleur is constantly curious about the muggle world, always eager to learn anything Hermione is willing to show her. She would have a great relationship with Hermione's parents, mostly because she thinks they're one of the most genius people on the planet because they know how to fix people's teeth. Meanwhile, Gabrielle would loooove to talk with Hermione, especially when they get together to embarrass Fleur.
Favorite scene: You know, the totally canon one when Fleur asked Hermione to the Yule Ball.
7. LOU MILLER X DEBBIE OCEAN
Heist wives? Yes, please.
We don't even need to pretend. These two were totally banging throughout the whole movie. The headcanon is that they used to date, then Debbie made some stupid decisions, met the wrong people, they broke up for a while and then Debbie got locked up. I believe Lou was so angry with her for both being stupid and for ruining what they had because she wanted to get more money than they actually needed, that she didn’t even visit Debbie in prison.
While there, Debbie had enough time to realize how much of an idiot she had been, so it's up to her to win Lou back. Meanwhile, Lou knows that she's screwed the second she sees Debbies smile again. She just can't help but orbit around her.
Also, they're the Moms, no doubt about that.
Favorite scene: "Baby, I don’t have a diamond yet."
8. DANSEN
The only reason they’re all the way down here is because I hate CW, but I actually love them more than half of my family. They’re married, they’re moms, they’re in love, they’re perfect. Someone as caring as Kelly needed someone to make her go crazy like Alex, while Alex deserved someone that would understand her no matter what. Honestly, I just love them.
Favorite scene: THE PROPOSAL
9. CAROLNAT
Is there any chance this could happen? No.
Do I still dream about it? Constantly.
It's just one of those couples where things would just work. My biggest headcanon for them is that they would be constantly laughing and having fun. Always joking and playing around with each other. Natasha would crave physical touch and Carol would be happy just to be around her at all. Carol would finally find a reason to stay on Earth without feeling guilty about it and Natasha would one thousand percent make a retirement party for her.
Also, they would protect each other so fiercely that no one would even dare to warm any of them.
Favorite scene: The one where Natasha ends up on top of Carol in the training room. Totally canon, trust me.
10. GLORBIA
Might sounds crazy, but hear me out.
Barbie is literally Gloria's dream Barbie, and Gloria is the reason Barbie is alive. Once Barbie becomes human, I can totally see Gloria falling for her without even noticing it, while Barbie takes a while to realize what are those things she's feeling. I do believe Sasha would have a strong part in bringing them together. She would be the one to explain to Barbie what a crush is and what being in love should feel like, and then she would have to give her mom a gentle push to acknowledge her own feelings.
After that, fluff all the way. Gloria would be the most patient person in the world while she sees Barbie navigating human life, just happy to have whatever Barbie is comfortable giving her. Meanwhile, Barbie keeps getting surprised by how strong her feelings can be every time she even looks at Gloria.
Favorite scene: Not a scene per se. Instead, I'm bringing that Tumblr post that says "Ken only has a great day when Barbie looks at him. Gloria always has a great day when she looks at Barbie."
Bonus
11. GAY BELLA
Quite literally, any lesbian ship from Twilight. My favorite one is Rosella, but Bella x Tanya is a close second. Bellice is also a very strong candidate, not to mention Bella x Kate. And, oh, did I hear someone say Bella x Irina or was it Bella x Leah? Honestly, just give me lesbian Bella and I will be happy.
12. ROJARIAS
One of the hottest couples that exist.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Welp, I don't think I'll make anymore posts of Agatha All Along besides reblogs of agreeing with people. Lovely time spent sharing my perspective as short as it was. Tumblr was surprisingly still more sane/didn't really deal with or see as much of people being asses compared to TikTok or Twitter/X. I will be in a post show depression for a week, and will continue to live on in this fandom as a reader of Fanfics, because just what was that ending, just why do the lesbians always gotta die y'know at least wayhaught kept bringing their lesbian back after nearly killing her once every season

Waverly going on a temporary trip to Egypt to reconstruct a corrupted Black Badge Division.
Waverly and Jeremy. The BIG brained duo.
Honestly, I’m happy for her. I acknowledge that Nicole couldn’t come with her due to the whole Angel’s Shield stipulation but then I think that would kind of be counterintuitive and counterproductive if she could. This is WayHaught’s necessary break from each other to find their own paths in life and follow their own ambitions - and to be actually EQUAL in their marriage which I kind of understood was the point of the contention between them in the special. Nicole was holding Waverly back. Not selfishly as such. She just didn’t realize Waverly wanted more - or more specifically - wanted to be more than just a wife.
Nicole wasn’t around for Waverly declaring “Shut your patronizing mouth garbage. I can be a hero AND a wife” but their wedding vows were pretty pointed when it came to that. They need equal partnership and for Waverly, that means having an adventure where she can use her full potential and learn new things and just be her own guide and warrior in life.
It’s not that it’s not something Nicole doesn’t want either. It’s just that she already has it with being the Sheriff of Purgatory and she’s fully satisfied with that. What she does want - however - is something much more personal and that is to have a kid with Waverly. Which - I mean - ugh… every time I think about this subject I just have a screaming “what about Rachel?!” response come from the back of my mind because where is Rachel and why isn’t she mentioned? That WayHaught conversation was the time for her to be but they cut all that short following Mina showing up.
I mean I like it when WayHaught get interrupted but not like that. Not when they were about to have an important conversation that we really needed to hear - at least as far as… WHERE THE FUCK IS RACHEL?!
But yes, I am satisfied with this next step in Waverly’s journey and I believe it makes complete sense for her.
Can they actually manage long distance? Maybe their libidos can’t. But time will tell whether their love for each other is strong enough to withstand separation. And for them to be equal partners in life and love. In marriage and heroship. This is what it’s going to take. Can the WEARP fandom be okay with that? I don’t see why not ‘cause surely they’d want them both to grow.
As for me - I’m used to seeing main female characters that are in a relationship go off on their own for awhile to do their own thing for their individual development. I expect it. More than that. I encourage it. WLW/queer relationships are great and I love seeing WayHaught together. But I also love seeing them individually too and how their dynamic changes and evolves based on the contrasting effects of being together vs individual. It’s one of the things I love about Xena and Gabrielle. How they’re so much a part of each other that they can be separated and still be whole characters alone and I don’t like any form of art/entertainment that perpetuates the ridiculous notion that they can’t be because it’s insulting and condescending as all fuck.
I wasn’t worried about the conflict for WayHaught in the special in the slightest once I realized where it was going because I knew they would resolve it just fine.
I just wish they hadn’t cut THAT conversation short because even if Waverly didn’t answer Nicole about whether she wanted to start a family with her or not, I still wanted them to talk about RACHEL because ??? It was just a gross oversight of a significant character from Season 4 of the TV show and the only thing I can honestly say really bothered me about the special because even if Emily doesn’t consider Rachel to be WayHaught’s adopted daughter, I still need to know about where she even is, why she isn’t mentioned and how WayHaught aren’t fucking concerned about her!
Everything else in the special that I disagree with I can take with a pinch of salt and be just like “meh, it’s whatevs. You can’t please everyone” but NOT THAT! If Emily just wanted to erase Rachel from the storyline, that’s a choice that has to be acknowledged in the characterization because - what the fuck, Emily?! 😑

Can I just say I love how like, into revisiting and analysing this dumb show’s scenes you still are — with the rise in popularity of streaming (I’m sure this has something to do with it, anyway) it’s become more and more commonplace for people to consume a piece of media, enjoy it, get bored of it after a while and never touch it again after moving on to the next new thing. It’s so wholesome and refreshing to see people still be so passionate and always find something new to talk about a show that, for all many of us care, ended 8 years ago. I do move in and out of being obsessed and disinterested with the media I’ve enjoyed, but in a world where I’m constantly seeing people say “oh you’re a fan of [X]? But that’s old :/“ (mostly about something that finished like last year lol) your blog is a breath of fresh air :)
Well thank you 🥹
The thing is, I get it. I get why and how people move on to different fandoms so quickly, and I don't really think poorly of that or anything. It's been almost a decade and it's easy to fall out of love with something after so long. Hell, when you think about it, this fandom has outlived the lifespan of a lot of entire relationships people have had 🥴. People find new things to get excited over and the *gasp* feeling of finding this new /thing/ is always fun. So I do get it.
But for me, it's just not that way. It's not that simple. Not because I think I'm somehow special (maybe a lil deranged 😬), but rather that's just how I operate. Before Clexa the only other ship I ever really cared about was Willara from Buffy which I watched when I was a goddamn teenager lol (RIP to my fellow gays always falling for girls who get shot ✊😔). I just don't get attached much to characters and ships. Usually ai like them in passing, enjoy watching them, and then that's... it. Tibette from the L Word. Wayhaught. Brittana. I like them and I follow them, but there's no real desire to delve deeper beneath the surface.
And then something like Clexa comes around and just absolutely fucks me up. It hits me and connects with me in a way that I just can't shake. Watching the show isn't enough. Thinking about it isn't enough. I have to discuss it and dissect it and fill in the gaps that we didn't see, and read and (now) create more stories for them just to understand everything about them to a deeper degree.
So few characters really elicit that kind of connection, but Clexa do. Even for a lot of the people who have moved on, at one time they felt that connection. Clexa was a fuckin madhouse for years and I think the fact that even still to this day people keep discovering and rediscovering them and falling in love with them all over again speaks volumes about just how wonderful that relationship and those characters actually were.
Especially Lexa.
Now, I love Clarke. I make it known that thiiiisss is a Clarke Griffin apologist's blog. That feral little kitten has never done anything wrong in her life. Ever. Including all of the terrible things she's done, as well as the many, many things that were flat out wrong. She is still innocent. She is only a baby. A murderous, tormented, compassionate, complex babygirl. So never get it twisted that I'm saying Clarke is somehow lesser than, but when push comes to shove when we're talking about baseline complexity, there is no character like Lexa. There's just not.
This woman was definition of doomed by the narrative. A child stolen away to be used as a glorified sacrificial lamb for her people. A toddler wielding a sword made of wood taller than her own tiny body, trained to accept her own life as expendable for the greatest good of her people before even learning her ABCs. She took the throne at 12 bby slaughtering her only companions and made her death mask out of kohl and fallen tears. Every person she ever loved as a mother, father, brother, either died for her, or by her own hand. The only two people she ever dared to be weak for were torn from her in the name of politics and the weight of her own bloodied crown. Under all the regalia she was just Lexa. Heda, always surrounded by her people and yet eternally just a lonely soul. Born here on Earth, raised to eventually die for others, left to rule over the people on the ground as best she knew how.
And yet through the pain, she was strong. So fucking strong it emboldened the warriors around her. She was brave, and lethal, and unyielding in her pursuit of peace. Meeting every push against her forward march to change head on, never flinching in her own brutality along the way. She knew that she was born for this; believed the black of her blood to be every bit as much of a blessing as it was a curse. Even when people doubted her and did their best to end her reign, Lexa always came out swinging.
She loved hard and kicked ass even harder, is what I'm saying. And the fact that they took a character like that and ended her so fucking carelessly? I just... I'm gonna be pissed off about that for a very long time. And until I'm no longer pissed off about that, I'll be here running mouth about it 🥴 probably still trying to make it better by writing her and the love of her life in as many stories as I can, so they can finally get the happy ending that was robbed of them in canon 🫡

Wynonna Earp: Vengeance Thoughts
I've watched the special twice now so I've put some thoughts together on how I felt about it. Overall I thought it was really good and Emily did a good job of balancing both appealing it to new viewers who may not be attached to these characters but having a plot that they could be intrigued by and also still going back to the show's roots and making it about everything we know and love with these characters. I'm going to put more detailed thoughts under the cut, feel free to share yours either on the post or by messaging me and we can discuss! And also keep watching so we give it a bunch of views and a good chance to have more than just this special :)
The beginning of the movie starting with Nedley and Mercedes was unexpected but so good. Sad that Mercedes had to be sacrificed right away, Dani Kind is awesome but the way they did that with her body spelling out ‘Earp’ was insane ad fit this show perfectly.
Wynonna walking through the casino to ‘Tell That Devil’ was perfect and gave me all the feels.
Wayhaught’s first scene was adorable and so them. The Bunny interruption was perfect too. Loved her little involvement lol
I never really liked Wynonna and Doc romantically (Team Dolls all the way) so a lot of their involvement I didn’t really care for (though I do love Tim so it’s hard to not care for Doc completely). Their dynamic has always been sort of odd to me though.
Wynonna putting on the leather jacket before making her way back to Purgatory was another iconic moment. 😭❤️
All the Wynonna/Waverly/Nicole scenes in the movie were perfect. I wish we had more. Wynonna teasing them any chance she could and Nicole giving it to her right back. The scene when Wynonna just returns home was one of my favorites in the whole special. The stairs comment was my favorite Kat’s delivery of ‘Shut your mouth’ 😂 her comment on the chore wheel “It’s your turn to clean the baseboards…whatever that means in gay’ 😂
Wynonna and Waverly drunk at Mercedes wake and Nicole having to deal with their stupidity 😂 that whole sequence was absolute chaos in the best way
Loved Nicole and Nedley’s heart to heart ❤️ their dynamic is so special and important
They really put Nicole through hell (as usual) and we got to see her be badass which I love. Also kudos to Kat for doing all this physical stuff while being pregnant. She’s amazing.
Waverly and Wynonna having a heart to heart in front of the fire just like old times ❤️
The scene of Waverly, Wynonna, Nicole and Doc at the table really felt so right. The four of them are so good together.
The flashbacks of younger Wynonna to tie in her connection to the villain were really well done and especially the shots of present Wynonna seeing some of it. Great directing choice.
Nicole and Wynonna telling each other the hard truths all while being incredibly entertaining is my favorite thing. And in contrast seeing Doc and Waverley’s relationship is so great too.
This Black Badge Agent was incredibly underwhelming. A poor man’s Dolls and did nothing for me. I saw Emily’s explanation about not wanting to have too many familiar characters (as a reason why Jeremy wasn’t more involved) but this guy was just..meh.
The way they just casually dropped a kids mention with Wayhaught only to be interrupted right after…I think it makes sense that Nicole is ready for kids and Waverly isn’t (yet) because she still needs to explore and do things she hasn’t been able to yet but I do hope if they are able to do more that it’s brought up again
Nicole having to save Waverly from a dark goo (again) was a nice touch and I loved seeing that whole sequence (acted brilliantly by both Dom and Kat) Also all the times Nicole said fuck 😂
Wynonna and Doc porch scenes are always so heartbreaking. 😭 I don’t have much of an attachment to them together but Mel and Tim are so good in these kinds of scenes.
The amount of ‘baby’ mentions for Wayhaught in this special made me super happy 😍
This Wayhaught convo about Waverly needing to go do her thing with Black Badge and Nicole assuring her they can handle it was so good. They are so in love and precious. “I wish I could be the one to show you the world.” 😭 My favorite line. Ugh I want that for them so bad!
The Wynonna and Nedley convo at the cemetery was so good too. I love that this show/cast can basically put any two people together in a scene and they’re so good together in said scene.
Wayhaught on stakeout duty up top while Wynonna and Doc handle things on the ground was epic. And then when Nedley joined in…amazing lol
Loved seeing Wynonna being the badass we know her to be and taking care of things in her chaotic way and getting Nicole’s wedding ring back 🥰
I’m still shocked they went there with Doc and killing him but I do think it will end up being temporary if they end up doing more. It’s so sad to do that to Wynonna AGAIN too after she dealt with Dolls dying on top of everything else…stop torturing this poor woman already!!
It also seemed odd to me how none of them really had a reaction to Doc’s death…wonder if that was supposed to mean something. I’m glad they had Jeremy show up at this point though.
Wayhaught’s goodbye before Waverly leaves 😭 and Waverly saying goodbye to Wynonna too 😭…but excited for Waverly to have this journey and now Wynonna and Nicole working together…it leaves so much left for them to still do which I like.
Nedley watching Nicole and Wynonna like a proud dad ❤️ great ending with the last shot being that sign and Earp mailbox...very well done!
I do wish Rachel could have been involved (I loved her dynamic with Nicole especially in Season 4 and she is so Wayhaught's child) but Emily kind of explained that we'll see why she wasn't involved in the audiobook thing so I'm intrigued by that.
I also was kind of hoping we'd get more of just Wayhaught in general but of course I'm biased since they're my favorite part of the show/series and that we'd get more of them being intimate together but it was a lot more of it being implied (which I did enjoy and found funny especially in the way Wynonna would do it) and I get they only had a certain amount of time but now it's just made me want more of them in general so I do hope we get more now 🤞🏻

Wynonna Earp Vengeance Spoilers!!
okay thoughts on WE Vengeance: i liked it and it was fun to see my favorite characters back on screen. it did hurt to see mercedes killed off in the first five minutes after surviving through the series. i guess doc’s death really does make sense, but again OUCH! it also felt so similar to doll’s death in way. also WE without Bobo is still kind of weird, he was there through so much. i haven’t decided how i feel about teen wynonna, she seems a little off personality-wise. and of course nicole and waverly… love them, i do kind of hate storyline of nicole “tying down” waverly though. of course, waves gets possessed, classic, never gets old. waverly has definitely grown and i love to see that. a wayhaught baby would be amazing - so ya know hurry home waverly. it would be kind of cool to have a wayhaught movie 👀 randy nedley, no notes, hope he heals quickly.
anyways what are y’all’s thoughts? please be kind and respectful of others interests and opinions :)

Top 10 WLW ships ranked based on how much I like em (coz no one is stopping me)
1. Bea Smith & Allie Novak (Ballie from Wentworth) - they were so special and sweet, their story was tragic but well written and portrayed and I'm still not over it.
2. Waverly Earp & Nicole Haught (Wayhaught from Wynonna Earp) - very cute, very gay, 12/10.
3. Ava Sharpe & Sara Lance (Avalance from Legends of tomorrow) - their relationship was actually central to the show quite a bit, they made a lot of human mistakes and fixed them, got married, very nice.
4. Alex Vause & Piper Chapman (Vauseman from Orange is the new black) - super toxic, would not recommend this relationship irl BUT on tv it works. Pragmatic Morticia Adams x annoying golden retriever combo slaps.
5. Scylla Ramshorn & Raelle Collar (Raella from Motherland fort salem) - the lovers to enemies to lovers is always fun. Plus they got gay married which is bonus points in this arbitrary system.
6. Eve & Villanelle (Villaneve from Killing Eve) - They'd be higher up if they had more time together. Unique relationship though, they were in love. Shite ending.
7. Clarke Griffin & Lexa (Clexa from The 100) - what can I say, they were good but the show was bad.
8. Ava & Beatrice (Avatrice from Warrior Nun) - we deserved more of them :( they were a really sweet couple though, both equally fucked in the cosmic sense and now they get to be together wahoo.
9. Alex Danvers & Kello Olsen (Dansen from Supergirl) - well written couple, finally giving Alex a nice plotline, family and all.
10. Lena Luthor & Kara Danvers (Supercorp from Supergirl) - Not canon why question mark. The fandom made this ship good but it definitely deserved to happen on screen.
Edit: Warrior Nun got renewed (!!!!) so they're in 7th and Clexa in 8th

Wynonna Earp Vengeance. Spoilers ahead.
Oh man. Firstly, I wanna applaud to the writers, cast, and crew for making this film for the fans. This is a special fandom that works hard for their fans and sees their fans. I appreciate Emily Andras and everyone’s efforts in Wynonna Earp overall.
Things I loved:
- the amount of Nedley. I love Nedley.
- the first scene with Doc and Wynonna fighting criminals and doing it
- Wayhaught love!
- Nedley and Mercedes’ friendship
And for the negatives.
I don’t know what it is, but this did not feel like a movie. It’s more of an extended episode. But something feels off.
- Firstly, I hated that they killed Mercedes off as a plot device.
- Secondly, I felt that Doc’s death was more for the drama and that it wasn’t earned. Yes, they’ve mentioned that he’s old a bunch of times but he deserved to live a boring stable domestic family life. He deserved to have a little home with Wynonna and Alice.
- There is a lack of Jeremy! (Also I think that Black Badge dude whatever his name was, was unnecessary. Like his purpose narratively was to kill Doc Holiday??)
- what happened to Rachel???
- they bring up Wayhaught thinking about kids then it’s not brought up again?
- the device that entraps Mina felt convenient and predictable that it was gonna be used . They’ve had it all the time. It would be cool if part of the plot was trying to find the device to trap Mina.
- I think the story could be more focused and condensed. I think there’s a lot of going back to things that Wynonna and the others has already healed and moved on from. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expanding backstory, but the villain wasn’t as strong as previous ones that we had before. I think it could’ve been executed better if it held on to its theme - which was unclear to me.
These are just some thoughts. Dont fight me on it. I appreciate everything the Wynonna Earp writers, Cast, and Crew put into this. This film is what it’s meant to be. And it’s rare to have something as special as this to be shared to the world.
But in my mind, Mercedes is alive and thriving while Wynonna and Doc are happily raising their daughter.
Ya know what would be a cool alternate epilogue? Wynonna and Doc meeting their daughter for the first time.
Or an alternate story:
Wynonna and Doc who have been raising their kid for about a year, they’re struggling as parents - somewhere outside of Purgatory. Then meanwhile Waverly is working with Jermey and the new BBD when they discover a supernatural force reawakening in Purgatory. Cut to: Rachel and Nicole and Nedley and Mercedes discovering that supernatural force - which will somehow connect to threatening Wynnona’s domestic life (tho she misses the craziness).
Subplots would include Nicole and Waverly working on their long distance marriage, Nedley trying to enjoy retirement, Jeremy being a boss, maybe a little honourable mention of Dolls, and Wynonna coming to terms of this new domestic life while missing the craziness.
What if that supernatural force leaves Purgatory?
It’s clear that Wynonna wants to protect her daughter by ending that cycle of Earp Heirs. So she brings out old Peacemaker one last time for good and she destroys the supernatural pull in Purgatory. To which it ends with Doc and Wynonna bringing their daughter to the Homestead for the first time because it’s finally safe.
While Wynonna will always have that crazy chick with a gun side of her, she learns to love having this peace without the gun. Without the demons. Just her and her family.
It would still have the craziness, the comedy, the supernatural thrills, and most importantly, the heart in this story.
I mean - can you imagine Wynonna Earp with a 5 year old?
(From a production standpoint, I do understand the lack of Alice - it’s takes longer to complete filming with kids because they can only work for a few hours a day, can be in front of the camera for 30 minutes with a 45 minute break. also there’s a lot of stunt work - there’s generally a lot to work around for safety and production reasons but it’s possible with their production value)
… ya know I might make a fanfiction or a fan script.

Earp Sisters in Fic
When it comes to any Earp related fan fiction stories, whether it’s a WynDoc or a Wayhaught or a Wynhaught story, just like the show, the most important relationship is the Earp Sisters. I always consider where they’re at in a story first. For one I’m writing right now specifically, Waverly’s already in college and has already grown into who she is before reconnecting with Wynonna. Unlike how in the show, Waverly although she had taken these classes and was in a relationship with Champ, she was still finding herself and her footing after her reconnection with Wynonna. I’m enjoying writing this different dynamic because I haven’t really read it in a story before. Not the way I’ve written it anyway.
But I think the most challenging part was writing what that reunion was going to be like. I didn’t want it to be brash or feel rushed or kinda just be like “Hi, long time no see!” I wanted to emphasize that these were two human beings, sisters, who love each other with all of their heart, and grew apart once Wynonna moved away. I think the core of most Wynonna Earp fan fiction stories regardless of the romantic relationship being represented, is the connection between Waverly and Wynonna. I think it can really change the tone of an entire story. Is Wynonna overprotective and over Waverly‘s shoulder? Is she standoffish towards Waverly’s romantic relationships? Does she click with that other person Waverly is seeing? How does she react to Waverly’s sexual preference or her coming out? What’s their relationship like? It took me a while to really see how big of a role that their relationship is to so many stories and why it was important to have that. When a story lacks representation of the relationship between the two sisters, I always have the feeling that something is missing that should be there. I always find myself searching for it when it’s not present. It’s something special.

Ineffable Husbands / Aziracrow / Crowley x Aziraphale - Good Omens - A Thought
Y'all, I am super late to this fandom. But, I devoured both seasons like Aziraphale with a plate of ribs and then went back for seconds, and thirds.
Up until now, WayHaught has been my favorite queer ship, but these two adorable beings have slithered their way into my heart and flown into my mind.
I'm not planning to Meta these (I'm still behind on the Spapel finale, the Chenford REWINDS, and never even got to start Nace). But, I do have a thought that I can't get outta my head.
SPOILER ALERT: There's no removing this once it's in your system. I will be talking about both seasons. So, if you're still unspoiled (as I was until very recently), and want to stay that way, proceed no further.
Again, this isn't a full Meta. Just my own weird contribution to the conversation based on uneducated observation and fanatical attention to detail. I might be way off in my interpretation, but I haven't seen this thought discussed elsewhere, so I thought it should be said.
Ready? Let's dive in.
Aziraphale Feels Love
We establish early in Season 1 that Aziraphale is able to feel love. We don't know if all angels share this ability from the show (maybe the book-readers can tell in the comments), but we know he can.
He feels it when they go to the former Nunnery. He feels it when they're driving right before they run into Anathema. Aziraphale feels love.
And, yes, the book is in my TBR pile. I promised a friend to give them script notes, and I've told myself until I fulfill that promise, no other reading. So, soon enough I'll be caught up! But, in the meantime, I treasure the wisdom of those of you who've gone before.
I could wait to write this until later... but like Aziraphale after doing a good deed, I'm about to pop!
Anyway, we also see Aziraphale reveling in the ball and the pureness of the perception of the era. He loves a slow-moving romance spoken through kissing hands and whispered conversation. While Aziraphale has not experienced physical love, he's no stranger to the concept of love in its many facets.
Crowley/[Insert Angel Name Here] and Aziraphale have been doing a dance since before the Earth began. The first time they met, Aziraphale was immediately keen on him. And The-Angel-Futurely-Known-As-Crowley was happy to have someone to share in his moment of triumph.
If we look at the Bible, there's the idea of companionship—that humans were not meant to be alone. I would argue that the same could be said of our favorite eternal beings.
The-Angel-Futurely-Known-As-Crowley was trying to crank all this up by himself. It's not that he wasn't capable. He could've held the plans between his feet, or something. But, an angel happened by who was willing to stop and help—a pure heart eager to lend a hand.
That's where it started for them. And I argue that at the Eastern Wall, Crowley wasn't sure how he'd be received by Aziraphale... but he had to try. And being the angel he is, Aziraphale chose kindness toward the fallen angel.
By the time we reach 1941 (which sounds like a very critical year for these two), they've been through a lot. They've formed "our side" and Crowley's loneliness got a little more bearable while the weight of Aziraphale's conscious increased.
They've traded temptations and blessings, flipped coins, shared meals, supped and sipped. But in their last documented interaction before 1941—in 1862—they had a fight.
Crowley asked for Holy Water. For insurance. And Aziraphale's poor word choice led to their first real breakup (that we've seen.. 1650 and 1793 had the "I Was Wrong" dance, so they might've broken up, then, too, for all we know).
"Look, I've been thinking, what if it all goes wrong? We have a lot in common, you and me."
They're still not putting a label on it. These cutie-pies have been doing this for 6,000ish years and they still don't know what to call it.
Now, to be fair, they're doing this in secret knowing that if either side finds out they'll be destroyed. So, can't really blame 'em for not knowing what to call it.
"I don't know. We might have both started off as angels, but you are fallen."
Gee wiz, Aziraphale! I get that you have to ground yourself in your deeply instilled rote morality, but way to alienate the love of your life, dude!
"I need a favor." "We already have the Agreement, Crowley..."
Before, Aziraphale didn't want to put a label on that, either. Now, we saw back with Shakespeare that Crowley's the one who came up with that label.
But labeling aspects of their relationship is easy for Crowley. Labeling them is another thing entirely. And it's the last thing on Crowley's mind—this time he's actively asking for something outside the norm.
This is a new layer to their trust in one another. Crowley is asking Aziraphale to take a huge risk, and Aziraphale is mis-reading the situation.
"Out of the question." "Why not?" "It would destroy you. I'm not bringing you a suicide pill, Crowley." "That's not what I want it for."
They're talking past one another. Yes, I know this is classic them. But before the bickering can get much further, Aziraphale drops this on him:
"I'm not an idiot, Crowley. Do you know what trouble I'd be in if... if they knew I'd been fraternising?" ... "Fraternising?"
"Fraternising" applies to brotherhood and friendship. To this point, the only one we've seen call them "friends" was an outsider at the Theater. Neither of them has yet adopted the moniker "friend" when addressing the other or speaking conversationally about the other.
And, yes, we're going with the English spelling on this one. No, the characters aren't actually English. But they've both chosen English accents for their existence, so we're gonna roll with it.
"I have lots of other people to fraternise with, Angel." "Of course you do." "I don't need you." "And the feeling is mutual, obviously."
Of course these two idiots need each other. They're utterly alone in the world without one another—both aligned with a side... as far as they can go... but also with each other.
But Crowley is lashing out. Because he's not ready to put a label on this, and he has to keep himself distanced from Aziraphale and anyone associated with his former bosses.
And Aziraphale's fighting to maintain his very black-and-white view of good and evil, here, so as soon as Crowley seems ready to walk away, so is he. Though, we all know deep down neither of them truly want that.
In a fit of anger, Aziraphale flings the paper at the water. And, in an appropriate measure of response, the scrap obeys the laws of physics and flits down to the water rather than sinking into it like a thrown stone.
That's how we leave them (so far as we know)... at odds and decoupled in 1862.
Then comes 1941. The blissfully gullible angel has tried to do right and found himself in the snares of a trap. Bless his heart. (Yes, I'm a Southern Yank—which sounds contradictory, but I briefly studied at Leicester, so I know what my Uni mates'd call me)
"What are you doing here?"
The last interaction of which we're aware prior to this is the one where Crowley dramatically announced he didn't need Aziraphale, and our angel boy responded in kind.
So, while there have been many scrapes before where Crowley played hero to Aziraphale's damsel-in-distress, our angel wasn't awaiting rescue this time. He's genuinely surprised to see Crowley there.
But Crowley has had time in the in-between to consider their friendship and what it would mean to him if Aziraphale were to be discorporated, and if that would lead to him losing his place on Earth. Crowley can't have that.
Aziraphale assumes Crowley's there with the baddies. But, no, he's there for his angel.
"I just didn't want to see you embarrassed."
Watch Aziraphale soak that in. He turns his head to the left, away from Crowley, as he often does when confused or struck by something his sweet demon has said.
"Anthony?" "You don't like it?" "No, no. I didn't say that. I'll get used to it." ... "What does the J stand for?" "It's just a J, really."
Without so much as an apology from either one, they've fallen into a familiar rhythm. And, yes, apologies are very important, and these two need to get the hang of them, someday. But we can clearly see why they've survived so long without them.
When you're about the be discorporated at any moment, time for apologies is short.
"And if, in thirty seconds, a bomb does land here, it would take a real miracle for my friend and I to survive it." "A real miracle."
Of course, we're all focusing on the fact that Crowley is saying, "I did the bomb, you're doing the saving". But there's also a key word in there... friend.
Not so long ago (in their time, anyway), Crowley was incensed at the use of the word "fraternising", yet here he is calling this angel his friend.
I think in the time apart, Crowley realized just how important Aziraphale is to him. He really doesn't get along with the other demons on a social level, and he's failed to make any lasting human attachments. In all the universe, there's one being he can count on—his angel.
So, while we all know "friend" barely begins to cover it with these two, Crowley is finally ready for that label. Friends.
"That was very kind of you." "Shut up."
There's Aziraphale trying to thank Crowley without thanking him, once again pointing out what he sees as angelic traces in the demon before him.
And there's Crowley rejecting those same traces with all his being because he's embraced his exile internally and can't sever from that headspace anymore than Aziraphale from his desire for Heaven's affirmation and acceptance.
"Oh, the book! Oh, I forgot all the books."
Because in this moment of importance, he's going to prioritize Crowley. He put everything he had into keeping them from being discorporated.
But Crowley's wearing a smirk with flare. While the angel flails, Crowley strides confidently to the waiting bag of books.
"Oh, they'll all be blown to…"
His words trail off as he sees Crowley's right hand holding the precious bag. The music shifts as soon as Aziraphale makes the realization—Crowley saved the books.
"Little demonic miracle of my own. Lift home?"
Their fingers barely overlap as they exchange the bag, Crowley looking to not make a big deal of this. But it is a big deal.
Much as Gabriel was smitten with Beelzebub for a gift, Aziraphale is swayed by Crowley's first true act of love towards him this side of Heaven.
Yes, Crowley has saved Aziraphale multiple times. They've crossed paths over and over. But something's different. This time, Crowley called them friends. This time, there was something extra.
And while I know we were all taken in by Aziraphale looking at Crowley like he'd hung the moon and stars in the sky... which he technically did... there's a little sigh there that makes me wonder—was this the moment Aziraphale felt love from Crowley for the first time?
Remember, Aziraphale feels love. And we can tell he's enamored with Crowley long before this moment. Remember how his eyes lit up to hear his love's voice when he was locked in the Bastille? Remember the heart eyes he gave Crowley in hopes that the demon would work a miracle for Hamlet?
Yes, I believe Aziraphale feels his own affection for Crowley growing... but in part because he feels Crowley's love for him.
Now, there are many types of love. It doesn't have to necessarily be romantic (though we all know it is). But it plays into Aziraphale's prevailing theory that the demon is at least a little good and capable of good things—including love.
I think it's easy to pass off waves of love from around you as something else when you're not touching the person who loves you. Because they did touch as they traded that precious bag of books.
And that was an act of love. Beyond saving lives, Crowley protected something material that held meaning for Aziraphale. We all know Crowley's repeatedly stated that he doesn't read books. He doesn't adore them as Aziraphale does—but that doesn't matter.
Crowley saved the books because no matter what they meant to him—nothing—he knew they meant the world to the one who means the world to him.
It was an act of love. And I fully believe Aziraphale felt it.
Slipping into Season 2 with that same night, we can see that Aziraphale's still reveling in that feeling in the car with Crowley as they race through the embattled streets of London during the Blitz.
I paused it at a particularly adoring look from Aziraphale to Crowley. I mean, he's basking in his love.
"You know, that was a very nice thing you did for me." "Shut up." "There must be something I can do for you in return?" "Forget it, will you?"
Crowley's not ready to talk about it. He's never ready to talk about it... not until it's too late. And it's always too late, right?
But Aziraphale is fully enamored and looking for a way to reciprocate. This goes outside their usual Arrangement, and you can tell he's filled with feelings and wants to channel them into an act of love for Crowley.
And Crowley's brushing it off. Because it's easier for him to act than it is for him to talk. If you label it or try to define it, he's going to jump ship. But if you let it be, he's happy to ride the wave of... whatever this is.
Rather than wait in the car, Aziraphale follows Crowley inside. They're both savoring the time together, this time. It's somehow different, and I love that.
"Um, I wonder if I might be able to help you on behalf of my... uh, good friend here."
And, there it is. Aziraphale sees a way to live one of his greatest fantasies and help out Crowley. He has nothing to give him, but this'll do the trick, eh?
Also, look at him adopting "friend" as quickly as Crowley was willing to claim it. While Crowley is the one pushing them forward in many ways, he holds them back in others. This was a case where Aziraphale was a little faster to move forward emotionally than Crowley.
And this is the first night they've spent together in some time, if what we know of canon holds true.
Why am I going into all this!? Because, 1941 feels like one of the bigger turning points of their relationship. Of course, Job was, too. But I spent so much time watching that final confrontational scene of Season 2 Episode 6 only to keep returning to 1941 in my head.
I saw folks positing that Crowley's confession was the first time Aziraphale felt his beloved's love... but I argue he's felt it in waves throughout the centuries and been able to dismiss it as coming from somewhere else.
When their fingers touched in 1941 as Crowley gave Aziraphale a most-treasured gift—his books' survival—it was undeniable. Aziraphale felt Crowley's love.
And he spends the rest of this night trying to return Crowley's affection.
"Cheers for getting me off the hook." "Oh, there's no need to thank me. That's what... friends... are for."
He's still testing it out. The last time he used a word even close to that, Crowley had walked out of his life for half a century. But this time Crowley isn't correcting him, and Aziraphale loves that.
"You're going to need a 100% reliable marksman. Someone you can really trust." ... "Oh, I've got the perfect man for the job. At least, I think I have."
There's no question in Aziraphale's mind that he trusts Crowley enough to aim a bloody firearm at his face, pull the trigger, and that he'll be just fine afterwards.
And Crowley knows he's never fired a gun, but he also knows that if he doesn't say yes to this, his angel's gonna try to find someone else who will—and he can't have that.
He knows he'll miracle it away if something goes wrong. Crowley has to be the one to keep his angel out of harm's way.
"Haven't you fired a gun before?" "Not as such."
You. Two. Idiots. Seriously gotta work on your communication skills. but watch how Crowley's trigger finger actually shakes as he feels the weight of Aziraphale's trust in him.
That's love. That absolute trust. And while Crowley doesn't fully understand what's going on between them, he knows he can't betray that trust. He can't let anything happen to Aziraphale, and he's going to find a way to protect him.
Afterwards, backstage they're sharing the evening like a pair of old lovers celebrating a win. Crowley's lounging on the chaise longue. A triumphant Aziraphale winds a feathered boa around his neck. They're reveling in this moment, and it's the most relaxed we've seen them together to this point.
They could have gone separate ways as soon as the trick was achieved, but Crowley chooses to stay with Aziraphale. He's spent the last 50 years without him, realizing just how much this angel means to him, so he lingers.
Afterwards, they're back in the bookshop sharing wine on what Crowley believes may be his last night on Earth. He chose to spend it with the person he most wanted to be near.
And, yes, Aziraphale knows that he switched out the photo, but Crowley doesn't. For all his anger at their last meeting about "fraternising", it's all he seems to want to do, now.
Aziraphale notes that Crowley's glass is empty and fills it—a small act of love... but it's there. Feeling enamored and inspired, he tests the waters of discussion.
"I, uh, I knew you would come through for me. You always do."
Crowley tosses it off, but doesn't completely ignore the subject, for once.
"Well, you said, 'trust me'." "And you did."
He almost whispers it, like the three little words a lover whispers affectionately to their dear one. It's trust.
For an angel to be able to trust a demon... for a demon to be able to trust an angel... that right there is so far outside the bounds of what they both have been told is supposed to be.
But in one another they found one being in existence that they know will trust them wholeheartedly, and whom they can trust in return.
"You could've walked away. If you were truly as evil as you like to paint yourself, you would've done." "Nah, that's the trouble with you lot. You tend to see things in black and white. Sometimes, you've just gotta blur the edges."
And, let's be honest, his lot tend to see things the same way. Crowley is unique in that he truly wishes to understand. It's not that he wanted to thwart the will of God. He wanted to understand what was happening, to question it, to delve deeper than unanswered, unwavering dedication to a "Great Plan" that didn't make sense.
In Aziraphale, he's found someone as close to his morality as he'll ever discover (someone who goes as far as he can, but ultimately has a separate moral code). But Aziraphale lacks Crowley's distance from Heaven, and thus lacks his perspective. That'll eventually catch up to them.
But, tonight, they're both savoring the seconds of shared security. In the safety of the bookshop, they toast to, well, them.
"Well maybe there is something to be said for... shades of grey."
Aziraphale holds out his glass to Crowley, inviting the agreement. And, of course, Crowley will drink to that. Because that's where their love lies. In the black and white, it wouldn't be possible.
But because these two beings are able to think in the grey, to live in the grey, to love in the grey... they have a snowball's chance in hell of making it. Because something majorly shifts between them in 1941.
Yes, they've been doing this love dance since the beginning. But I think in feeling Crowley's love, Aziraphale is that tiny bit more emboldened.
Yet even after all that... Aziraphale hasn't quite reciprocated Crowley's act of love. Yes, he got him out of a bind with the delivery, but we can argue that Crowley had to rescue him right back with the bullet drama.
Enter 1967. We can assume that these two saw each other again in 1941 based on the fact that the "I was wrong, you were right" dance was in-play and we didn't see it. But we don't know what else might've transpired before 1967.
All we know is that Crowley's planning a "caper" to get the one thing he thinks he needs for insurance... the one thing Aziraphale outright denied him when he asked as a favour.
Crowley slides into his Bentley as the familiar swish of Aziraphale's miracle magic fills the air. The demon's tail lands in his seat just as the angel appears.
"What are you doing here?"
He's echoing Aziraphale's words from 1941. This isn't one of their planned clandestine meetings, and Aziraphale clearly doesn't want to risk the tiniest chance at an audience overhearing or witnessing this exchange.
Where the bookshop is the angel's sanctuary, this Bentley is Crowley's. And they're about to have a very secret exchange.
"I needed a word with you." "What?" "I work in SoHo. I hear things. I hear you're setting up a... caper to rob a church."
In a very Aziraphale coded move, Crowley looks away from the angel at the mention of an uncomfortable topic.
"Crowley, it's too dangerous. Holy Water won't just kill your body. It will destroy you completely." "You told me what you think 105 years ago." "And I haven't changed my mind, but I can't have you risking your life."
Here's the thing, as much as Crowley felt fiercely protective of Aziraphale in 1941, that's how much more Aziraphale feels now. That level of trust and love builds and builds.
Because what Aziraphale is saying to Crowley right now is—I can't lose you. Even though I hate this. Even though I don't want this for you, if it means I get to protect you, I'll do whatever it takes. Because I need you.
Which is why Aziraphale gives Crowley the Holy Water without understanding why he wants it. It's a gift without strings, without conditions, without preamble. Because Aziraphale knows if he's the one to do it... Crowley will at least be safe for now.
Just as Crowley agreed to do the shooting trick... for the exact same reason.
And while Crowley doesn't feel love in the air the way Aziraphale does, he does feel it from his angel. He understand the risks that Aziraphale took for him. And it means even more that his angel took these risks without understanding the reason... simply because this angel trusts this demon.
Crowley's lips part as he accepts the gift, and the two are very careful not to let their fingers touch, this time. Perhaps Aziraphale already feels quite exposed and doesn't want to risk the rush of another wave of love.
"Should I say thank you?" "Better not."
Aziraphale can't even look at Crowley. He's terrified he's just given the love of his life a suicide pill, but also so thankful to know he's safe, for now.
"Well, can I drop you anywhere?" "No, thank you. Oh, don't look so disappointed. Perhaps one day we could, I don't know... go for a picnic. Dine at the Ritz."
And this scene really shows me that Aziraphale is not oblivious to what's going on here and how he feels. But, he's placing very clear boundaries on where he hopes they can someday reach... sharing meals together in public.
Because I tend to agree with those who say that celestial beings love differently. We saw with Gabriel and Beelzebub that there was almost nothing physical to their affection. Their connection was enough for them. Without labels. Without definitions. Just... love.
But I think Aziraphale and Crowley are different, still, from the other celestial beings... partially because of their long time spent on Earth.
They like to eat and drink. They both like to listen to Earth music (though on different ends of the spectrum). Crowley canonically likes to go to the movies. Aziraphale soaks up books like sunshine, and loves learning new "human" things the human way.
These two can love in a purely celestial way. But, I argue they both have formed ideas of love that are a little different from their peers. They experience so much of existence in the human manner that it's impossible for their perspective of love to not be thus colored.
And right now, Crowley is feeling the impact of Aziraphale's love, much as the angel felt his in 1941.
"I'll give you a lift anywhere you wanna go."
Crowley is willing to let Aziraphale set the destination, here. And he'll go. Anywhere. Anywhere with him.
But Aziraphale's not quite ready for it. He knows he doesn't want to lose Crowley, but he doesn't yet know how to move past his angelic programming to fully embrace what they can be to one another.
"You go too fast for me, Crowley."
My. Heart. Stopped. The first time I heard this sentence come out of Aziraphale's mouth, I had to immediately rewind and rewatch. Because the hardest part for these two is always going to be the boundaries they put up in their own minds.
They've spent a long, long time on "opposite sides" while sharing an existence built on half-truths and trauma. They're both traumatized and both struggling through it. It's a miracle (heh) that in all this they've found one another at all.
And when it all comes crashing down in that truly devastating confession/kiss at the end of Season 2... Oh, they're both breaking apart because that trust that has been the foundation of everything for so long finally feels broken.
Crowley admits what they are. Out loud. No more, "Shut up" or "Forget about it". He opens himself up in a way he never imagined to the one being he could always trust.
And David Tennant takes us on the ride of our lives. Look, I'm a long-time fan of Tennant, starting with when he took over the role of The Doctor. But, golly, he destroyed us all with this confession.
Crowley removes his glasses before his beloved at the start of the conversation. And once he realizes how lost Aziraphale is to the system, he could have given up and left. Instead, he gathers his courage to speak his truth.
They're a team. A group of two. And he wants to spend... every second with him. Just being... them.
And they can't really run away from it all. It'll find them, eventually. But they also can't go rushing into the lion's den wide-eyed and unprepared.
But neither's truly hearing the other right now.
Aziraphale wants to bring Crowley with him to change things from the inside. Crowley sees there's no changing anything, and wants to spend whatever time he has left loving Aziraphale.
And. He. Falls.
Aziraphale isn't there to catch him. Because our poor sweet angel has drank the Heavenly kool-aid and earnestly believes he can make Heaven better for his beloved fallen angel.
They're both so bitterly lost.
Crowley covers his eyes and stalks away, muttering "good luck" to his thoroughly confused angel. They're both confused, really.
Because they both want to ultimately be together, but they're talking past one another. The mixed messages that once shielded them through suspicion and scrutiny have sealed their undoing. At least, for now.
In a last-ditch effort to get through to Aziraphale, Crowley takes a truly human approach with "one fabulous kiss". But it's not loving or tender. It's hurt. It's angry. It's as broken as they are.
Crowley takes one step, two steps, hands land on Aziraphale on step three before he gather's the angel's lapel in his hands and tugs him in. The choreography probably had to be perfect for poor David Tennant to make his mark through the glasses and contacts.
As their lips connect, Aziraphale's eyes widen in confusion. But it doesn't taken long for them to close, and as he relaxes into the kiss, his brow furrows as he presses himself into Crowley, wrapping his arms briefly around him.
When the perspective shifts and we're looking at the kiss from Crowley's back, Aziraphale's hand slides down Crowley's shoulder blades, where his angelic/demonic wings rest, hidden from human eyes. The angel's answering Crowley, now.
But fear kicks in, and the angel starts to flail. He's terrified. He's terrified of what he feels. Of what he wants. Of what this means. And he's heartbroken that Crowley would do this now when he's already refused Aziraphale's offer.
But the angel never. breaks. away.
He doesn't shove Crowley off. He waits until Crowley releases him to step back, and once he does he's overcome with emotions. There are too many feelings, too many thoughts, too many possibilities.
And Michael Sheen takes us through all the heartache, the pain, the longing, the hurt, the love, the devastation... Oh, he gives us every emotion and then some.
His, "I forgive you" cuts in jagged edges along our souls, like a papercut shreds skin, but on a cosmic level. And it shatters Crowley, similarly.
They part ways... broken.
Aziraphale is gutted to watch him go. More than any other time, this one feels final. In his confusion and pain, Aziraphale's trembling fingers find their way to his mouth, the taste of Crowley still fresh on his lips.
He presses his fingers against his mouth, trying to figure out where that sensation came from, but all he can recreate is a dim memory of the feelings crashing through him when Crowley's lips met his.
But the one thing that gives me hope is how Aziraphale keeps looking out that window. He can feel Crowley there. He can feel Crowley's love.
I've often wondered how they constantly find one another. Can Crowley feel where Aziraphale is and makes sure to be close in case of calamity, claiming that he's in town for a temptation? Does Aziraphale feel where Crowley may be and maneuvers himself as close as possible while feigning nearby blessings?
Because in the wake of their heartbreak, it's clear that he knows exactly where Crowley is.
He steps back to look out that window because he know that's where Crowley will be. He knows that Crowley hasn't peeled out of there in his Bentley. He knows he's waiting for him.
He feels Crowley's love. And when the Metatron confirms Crowley's words by mentioning the Second Coming, the way that Aziraphale looks back that last time feels charged.
I feel like Aziraphale wanted to run back right then exclaiming, "You were right. I was wrong!" But he can't. I mean, the Metatron is standing right there and expects him to come up and run this thing. If Aziraphale backs out now, who will be in position to stop this thing once and for all?
And maybe, maybe Aziraphale can protect the being he loves most by being in the room where it happens. Maybe that's the key, right?
But this is all projection. I'm more clueless than most of you because I've yet to read the book (yes, I will prioritize it after I finish these script notes!).
These are just my uninformed thoughts! But, I really do think that Aziraphale feels Crowley's love. And I think he's felt it for a very long time, at least since 1941. And I really can't wait until we get our Season 3 renewal notice.
Will I ever write full Metas on this ship? Gee, I don't know. We shall see, I suppose (which is only marginally less annoying than "wait and see").
Be good to one another. Spread love. Choose kindness. Give yourself grace. And don't forget to breathe.

Make Or Break !!!!!
Respect! Respect! Respect!
I have a lot to say, so kindly bear with me.
When you feel what the characters are feeling while they are performing, it means they have great acting skills and they know what to be expected from them in a given situation, I don't know how to say this but big shout to Danielle Savre and Stefania Spampinato they can be really proud of themselves because that was some intense performance.
This whole episode was one big roller coaster ride when it comes to Maya and Carina ( I least care about other characters on the show for now, though I have a lots of not so good things about them when it comes to Maya) This is one the most important situation in their relationship as they have not being like this in past.
The essence of child abuse and having a traumatic childhood weather its from abusive or maniac father is so well captured, that how it effects a childhood and its there with you in some point of their life even if they are grown up, from showing how Maya being so strong headed and stubborn that she is unable to see her own issue and ask for help, the way she got panic since the time she opened her eyes and ask for Carina till the time where she was screaming Carina's name and had a panic attack.
Carina, such a strong character from being soft and giving space to Maya to that extended that she trusted that her wife will come back to her, and than fighting for her relation in the hospital so that her wife can get help to the extended that she is ready to loose her but can't see the love of her life in pain or most probably die.
Its a breaking point for both of them specially for Carina given her past history. I am really intrested to see how the writers how they will write their relation because they both need therapy and this will be the make or break for their relation, its like now or never kind of situation. I am just gonna trust the process till it run its course and hopefully we get our favourite couple back together. I just want happy ending. (My little heart is still not over from Sanvers break up and I love Marina so much that I just want happy ending. There is something special about women loving women having happy ending just like Wayhaught)
P.S - Special thanks to our Ao3 writers they have done a great job and helped us through the hiatus and hoping to read lot more great stories in future. You guys are Awesomeeee. Keep writing.
