i definitely think he'd be some kind of fighting type. unfortunately there are no dog fighting types (besides lucario, but the vibes are right for giopara). honestly i think the Pawmot line fits weirdly well? both typing wise (electric fighting) and in terms of "means well but is very smug and causes a lot of havoc" vibes. and obligatory Tinkaton (MY GIRL MY BELOVED) because that thang has a big ol' hammer and is fucking VIOLENT but i think its too fucked and evil up for giopara.

and if we're talking theoretically pokemon id still say a theoretical Steel Eeveelution because again the "Evolution pokemon" where it's hidden ability is adaptability is PERFECT for Viktor (arcane Viktor would start off as just an eevee and then get turned into a theoretical ghost type against his will. thanks to a certain someone).

but for real pokemon id say maybe bisharp or metagross? maybe iron moth if we're talking about paradox pokemon? there's not a whole lot of steel/electric which is fucking weird to me. or any steel/psychic that fit beside legendaries (i think iron leaves is decently fitting too but again. legendary)

It was loud outside, louder than the bedroom had been. Caitlyn had brought you to the garden today and, despite your lack of enthusiasm, you didn't protest when she washed and dressed you herself. Maybe it was because you'd never seen caitlyn look after another person in this way, not in all the years you knew her. The only comparable moment would be when she followed jayce like a puppy when you were all younger, doing all the tasks he needed without question in an attempt to get his attention. You’d been jealous then, still were when you thought about it a little too long. 

It had been a lot simpler back then even if Caitlyn never noticed you, you had your group of friends who stood together against the tiny obstacles in your way. And then Jayce and Caitlyn had to stop talking for a while and everything went to shit. You wanted to support Jayce but with Caitlyn trying to get over him she wanted more attention then normal, it was when you crossed the bridge to find some peace that you’d met-

“Vi” Caitlyn paused, sipping from her tea cup and avoiding your gaze in favour of looking at the petals in the wind. “How was she- was she ok?” 

It wasnt that you couldnt find the energy to respond anymore, caitlyn had smashed that barrier somehow with only three words, but the petty part inside you thought she didn't deserve an answer. And of course, she noticed. 

“Ok” she whispered, taking the initiative to divy two teaspoons of sugar into your own tea since you made no effort to move since she had guided you to sit down. “Can I ask about how you met? She mentioned she’d seen you before, in the undercity?” 

Vi had mentioned that, tried to start a conversation between the three of you one evening while Caitlyn was tense with drawing up plans to use the ventilation as a weapon. She hadn’t bothered to engage as she ignored the both of you. 

But instead of giving into your demons again, you told her. 

“I was stupid at the time, running away was stupid” using the word stupid twice to describe your actions made you feel… well, stupid. But at least you were feeling something. “I ran off once I got home from our little tea party when you tried to kiss me.” 

It was a strange story to tell, Caitlyn had only done it because she missed jayce, that's what you firmly believed until years later when she confessed her attraction to you. After you'd come back home the next day neither of you spoke about it again. You didn't look up to see caitlyn reaction to your words, but if you had you've noticed the way she flinched slightly at the memory. 

“I went across the bridge, into the undercity- not that far mind you. But i got scared at some point. Maybe i’d passed a brothel or-or a fight? Fuck i cant remember now.” you blinked sluggishly and looked over to the side, recalling the events in your mind. “Then she was there, and she looked just as freaked out as I was, but I'm pretty sure that's just ‘cuz she didn’t know what to do with me. 

“I was panicking, I couldn't find my way back and all the streets were the same. There was shouting and it was so loud.” without realising it your face became tense, your posture shrinking in on itself. “People were shouting but i didn’t know from where and and i couldn't-” 

You paused, eyes wide and your breathing caught. Caitlyn had reached her hand across the small table and grabbed your hand softly, offering a silent comfort. You took a breath before continuing. 

“She told me her name, said she could tell I was from topside, and asked what I was doing down there. ‘You run away from your palace princess?’” that pulled a smile from you just as  it had then. She walked you back to the bridge, rushing a bit like she had somewhere to be but it didn't make her any less aware of your state. Then when you got to the crossing she asked if you'd be ok and sent you on your way with a flat smile. 

The two of you were silent again now, but it didn't feel horrible or cold or lost silence like before, it was comfortable and safe. With her thumb stroking across your knuckles Caitlyn spoke again. 

“I'm gonna find her, I'm going to bring her back to us. I just need a little time-” she cut herself off when you suddenly made eye contact with her, the first time in nearly a month she’d seen your eyes, and it was harrowing. The way your cheeks had sunken from neglecting yourself and your eyes were plagued by bags that looked like bruising. And somehow the glare on your face was still shining through, something in it reminded her of her mother. Even if it was wrong to admit that the woman she loved reminded her of her mum, she felt tears tease the corners of her eyes when she imagined how her mother would react to the situation she’d created. Glaring harsher than you were, her mouth twitching into a sneer as she reprimanded caitlyn and instruct she solve the mess she’d caused while she was gone. 

But her mother wouldn't come back to do that, she would never glare at her or reprimand her again. So caitlyn couldn't find the ability to regret what she was insinuating when you glared, it was something that needed to be done. “Once I have jinx, once she’s in stillwater and I know she can't hurt anyone else, I'm going to go to Violet and beg for her on my knees.”

She let go of your hand, ignoring the small involuntary noise of protest that left you, and sank into her knees to the left of you. She looked ashamed, she looked helpless, and somehow she looked like a worshiper. She gripped both your hands into your lap and stared up at you with wide eyes and a frown. 

“I'll bring her back here no matter what it takes, and when she is back don't you think she’ll want you to have taken care of yourself?” 

You couldn’t tell if she was being genuine anymore or if this was some kind of manipulation tactic to make you look after yourself, in your mind now it didn’t matter because she is promising to bring your flower home to you. 

But now you left guilt inside instead of rage, because you didn’t have the heart to tell Caitlyn that Vi had screamed that she wanted nothing to do with either of you. But you could let the fantasy play out for the both of you for a while, you had little hope that caitlyn would change eno anyway, long gone was the girl who’d tried to kiss you at her tea party. 

You smiled down at her, not in a way that fixed any of the past weeks, but a promise that you too had hope for the future. 

Your dream tonight would be a tad more believable than the others had been , you thought.

My uni term is officially finished! Silly quirks and facts about me (because i'm bored as hell and have too much shit to do so i cant draw or write) (more under cut)

1- When i read the lyrics to Kimya Dawson's song "Walk Like Thunder" i tear up bc i'm an empath who cares way too much about other people

2- Sometimes i literally just go lay in the road at night because i'm bored and i want to look at the stars and the only way to do that is to get out in the open

3- whenever i have nothing to do i think of things i can make for people (like art for my bf)

4- i like to watch videos of bugs with my bearded dragon because he's an ipad kid and i also like mimicking his head twitches

5- my grandma's last words to me ever were "it was nice to meet you" and i think about that often

6- i think frequently about how far i've come mentally. in 2020 i was on the border of life and death and now i cant even remember the last time i've cried, i still think about everyone i've lost but it doesn't affect me anymore.

7- My favorite thing to do when i'm down is anything downright outrageous, like for example my favorite coping skill of choice is to do clown makeup and take a cold bath while drawing anything i could shitpost

8- sometimes when i'm really enthusiastic or think somethings really funny i take videos of myself ranting and then act like i sent it to my friends so it almost feels like they saw it and understood, i mostly do it with spur of the moment things that i know wont be important in an hour that my brain tells me is crazy

9- i live close to the beaches and every time i go i always end up leaving with a shell in my mouth.. i don't know how but it happens every time without fail

10- i sometimes talk in my sleep.. like full on conversations and arguments and when i wake up i don't remember anything. i've gotten in trouble at home multiple times for yelling at a family. member to shut my door or fuck off while i was still sleeping

11- i feel like everyone has that one unique thing they do with their makeup or clothes, and mine for a while was that i would only put mascara on a bottom clump of eyelashes and point them together so that it looked sorta like a clown makeup thing

12- sometimes if theres a bird or lizard near me outside i sit completely still to see if it will climb on me. or sometimes i smile at it to show it i'm nice i guess

13- sometimes when i get really into a fandom i get a period of time where i'm so abhorrently sad because i know that universe will never be real and i will never be able to hug my favorite fictional characters.

14- my favorite words are made up words like skrunkly, gwimbly, gloinko, shmorpus, stuff like that, and i say abhorrent, horrid, and flabbergasting a lot irl

15- i'm the clingiest person you will EVER meet. sometimes when my bf takes longer than an hour to text back i get upset because i miss him and even right after he leaves wherever were hanging out it feels like i wont see him ever again. 1 hour away from him feels like a whole day

16- i like to sleep with my sam and max plushies, and occasionally my Viktor and Jayce plushies, but when i do they can never be separated on either sides of me. i need to make sure at all times that they are together.

17- i prefer scratched old records over newer ones from newer band because it makes me feel like i'm transported back to that time.

18- (my lovely bf can vouch for me) i am the worlds most shy person when it comes to touching anyone for literally any reason. i cant even place my hand on someones shoulder, it feels wrong to me. dont get me wrong, i love hugs and physical touch is a major love language for me, but i can never do it

19- everything i have has to be decorated top to bottom. im a MAJOR maximalist.

20- im a little obsessed with tiger statues.. like the mini ones.

A few years back i had just gotten out of the mental hospital and had some really bad ptsd from the whole experience (i was like 11 at the time and the school i went to lied to me and my parents about where i was going, i had no idea i was going to be gone for 4 days.) i started seeing a therapist who was new for me, i was a bit uncomfortable at first because unbeknownst to everyone i knew at the time i had ptsd from a certain past experience, but he soon became one of the first and only men i trusted.

i would walk into his office and he'd let me have some rootbeer from his personal stash, then i'd sit and watch the news and walk in for my appointment. One day he pulls this tiger statue off the shelf in his office and says "do you want to hear how i got this?" and me being the curious kid i was, i said absolutely.

There had been a man a county over who was put on death row years ago for murder and theft, and they later had an open house where they sold all his leftover belongings, and among these items was the tiger statue. My doctor thought it would be something fun to buy to start a conversation, and obviously he was right because that's cool as fuck.

Around a year after i started seeing him me and my family got a call that he had died unexpectedly of a heart attack. i was devastated obviously, and began going to my old therapist who i had seen since the age of 10. Now flash forward a few years to 2024 and i was signing up for muay thai classes, and guess what the head coach has all over his gym. the exact same model of tiger statues. like five of them just sprinkled around. i took that as a sign that he was still looking out for me in a way yknow, so yeah i think about that a lot :)

- i like vi. she gives me lesbian vibes (mostly the haircut) but also she seems like a teen, maybe barely legal at most so i feel kinda weird making a guess at her sexuality atp 💀 but she seems cool

🕷 Probably wouldn't notice at first, she'd be rambling about something while working on one of her gadgets before checking to see if you're listening only to find you with your eyes closed

🕷 She'd probably lift one of your eyelids but would quickly pull away when she realized you were actually asleep

🕷 Jinx might get a little pouty because she was feeling chatty but would let you sleep

🕷 If she has a hand free, she plays with your hair

🕷 If you're still sleeping when she's finished with her stuff, she'll grab a marker and draw little doodles all over you

Vi

🕷 You two would be hanging out on the couch watching tv when she saw you asleep

🕷 She literally becomes stiff as a board because she doesn't want to wake you

🕷 lowkey forgets to breathe

🕷 Eventually Vi slowly relaxes when she's confident enough that she won't wake you up accidentally

🕷 Lowers the volume on the tv and will try and grab a blanket to cover you so you don't get cold

🕷 If there isn't a blanket close enough, she'll slip out of her jacket or sweatshirt and drape it over you

🕷 Honestly I can imagine Vi being very comfy

🕷 Caitlyn purposely makes you lay in her lap and plays with your hair or caresses your face so you'll fall asleep

🕷 She turns the heat up a little and gets you all snuggled up with blankets while she's reviewing a case

🕷 You soon catch onto the fact that she does it on purpose but it's not like you really care

🕷 There have been a few times where you'll wake up with her asleep with her arms wrapped around you

🕷 Ekko always smirks when you fall asleep on his lap mainly because he just finds it very cute

here are my spoilers thoughts abt act 3 of arcane

SPOILERS FOR ARCANE CLEARLY

First of all so caitvi was heavily implied but they dont even get to smooch and i know why but thats still a coward move when we had fucking JAYCE SEX scene... cant believe Jayce was the first league character to fuck on screen

Second, I fucking love Ekko he looks so good I love him my boy he's amazing and he's getting shit done and he's the one character that was 100% right alright? alright

Jayce had a very interesting arc huh... he's not at all like the character in the game and I like this Jayce better I think, but it's just.... very different from in game Jayce its hard trying to even put those two together

I really liked the story overall, how Piltover and Zaun were treated... very interesting... I feel like it dealt a lot with consequences, often, all the time actually. The price we pay for the things we do.

Now Viktor, my speciality... What do I think of Arcane Viktor....

I think he's a new character tbh, although similar to in game Viktor like I mentioned before, and similar motivations I think act 3 put a major difference between them while drawing from a same theme?? thing?? I'll explain

Act 3 had Viktor start to use desperate, even harmful means to help himself and it worked. But when he was out of shimmer he decided to just keep pushing it. He was desperate, he tasted freedom for a second and he wanted more. And there were consequences, when someone got killed for it. I think it's WILD thats hes just gonna hide that specially cause it didnt seem like anyone would investigate the poor girl just fucking disappearing but ive playing a lot of DD lately and stories of guilt is something i got used to UASHDUHSDA.... But yeah back on topic, he seems to put a stop on his research with shimmer, specially seeing the girl was helping him figure out another way that was less desperate. That's interesting, because the ideia for the Glorious Evolution does come to Viktor when he's at his lowest, after being sabotaged and seeing death and suffering and sinking into an isolated depression, it WAS born of desperation as well, and mental instability, even if it's something that he truly believes him, something that kept him alive and could save lives.

And here's what separate arcane viktor from lol viktor, right? Arcane Viktor seemed to use magic and outside means to achieve his results and in exchange seemed to corrupt the magic or his cells?? in the process. we see the hexcore taking the form of something that resembles the void even. But that says nothing of Viktor's genious. It feels like he just, did something anyone could do?? Like, he's not taking a big leap and creating something new it just feels like he injected drugs did a little twirl and voila, working leg.

I feel like there's much more conviction and ingenuity in LOL Viktor not replicating human limbs, but improving them by merging flesh with metal, replacing flesh with metal with something BETTER, soemthing taht works, and doing it on himself to prove it. The whole magic thing feels cheap to me, and they call it hextech but I dont feel it. Arcane viktor is not a cyborg he just kinda... mutated? Idk the word. It's like he's Mundo or soemthing idk Mundo's lore forgive me.

But you know what, it kinda works for Viktor arcane's little arc abt hubris or something, paralel to everyone elses. "Are you really willing to go that far?". But he says it himself "there's always a choice". And he chose to not go any further with that path, even if it might mean a premature death.

So yeah, I like Viktor Arcane, it's not Viktor LoL but he's cool. He deserves better too, it's hard not to sympathize with him, he's made like that. Viktor lol is a lil bonkers its understandable ppl not sympathizing. Vry interesting choice they made there, wish Riot would give him any content at all like skins and shit but what can you do

EDIT: Ok adding to this if theres actually season 2 then that whole ending thing i wrote there is wrong actually but hmmmmmmmmmmm will see if it goes somewhere.
