Yes, my dream is to have a whole week of days dedicated to characters. Each of them shoud get at least a small doodle every week! Now that I'm a little less busy I could try to make it happen with Mossy Monday (it was supposed to be Leshy Monday but Mossy Monday sounds so much cooler), Kits Tuesday and Heket Wednesday...

Kallamar Thursday and Shamura Friday (Fishy Thursday and Spider Friday???) will be a thing when those two are introduced, too.

How do you practice drawing?

Well, I haven't taken classes so I'm self taught. I like going to Pinterest, YouTube + shorts and Tumblr to browse through references, quick tutorials and to find art i like.

I usually save the ones on Pinterest and Tumblr if I think I'll have use for them later

The Art teacher and a really nice classmate tried gave me quick tips here and there

Also occasional trace study, for wich I :

Try drawing beforehand to see what I'm capable, then I trace, after that I try drawing it over and over with the added reference- on the ones after the trace, I leave tiny comments about what I did wrong

Can't say drawing everyday helps, because I usually can't draw everyday - so I guess something like drawing every other way helps?

When I try to take aspects from other styles, let's say for example the lips from JoJo - then I try drawing a JoJo character. It cloud also help watching the series if I'm going for a big change

I haven't done much in terms of practicing long or straight lines, but it's still important if you don't mind the chicken scratches

It's also important to accept you'll make attempts you won't like, this'll help loosen up and not be so stressed - like playing new characters in games, you can't expect you'll be top tier in the first week, even month; sketchbooks won't mind if they look ugly by your standards, so neither shoud you

I barely use colors, so sorry...

Of course, each person learns differently and at their own pace - but I hope I was helpful!!!

i feel like doing another long post because i probably shoud

i have been feeling not epic for the last week or so because health issues are sprouting up again so i want to try my best to practice self care or whatever so i am making a post reminding or telling people that my birthday is tomorrow. i hope to get back to drawing nearly daily soon because i think itd probably help me with my issues lately and so i stop taking my art so seriously. i dont like talking about how i feel publicly often (im probably overbearing to my friends in private about it though) because i dont want to beg and pull for attention that i dont really need so dont expect it often from now on probably. however i enjoy talking publicly about random bullshit when i think i have something useful to say at least. i feel extremely selfish in saying this but i say it because i know its irrational to think that way - i do really hope my birthday goes alright. i really truly appreciate anyone who reaches out more than i can ever explain, but its alright if no one does. i am an adult and i will survive i promise

19 July 2023. What is a loop but a need to be filled? In DC&R terms, a loop runs til it stops, which either means the motive force has run out or it has done its job, whatever that may be. That job could be just to run or to run until you learn how to control it. I’m not trying to be rigorous here, and having to stop to type DC&R throws me. I wish we had a flowing label for D-process, and maybe that’s it. I’ll try.

I’m thinking about loops that run to stuff your face to loops that take decades, and how those are quadrants which act like gs primes, which can be groups as primes, which express modularly, meaning they recur and the quadrant fills til it hits the full value of that gs prime.

I’ve put these two things together but I’m not sure how well they fit. What about a sporadic simple group? There are 26 or 27 of those. Each is a gs prime space, meaning it factors. And thus each must be a solution to a higher D-process reducing or descending to that space.

What is factoring in D-process? What does it mean to say 11 to some exponent times 23 to some exponent, etc.? I see these as constructed spaces. Why spaces and not objects? I think this is sort of where they combine as ideas, though it may not be the fundamental occurrence of that. These groups are spaces but they aren’t exact spaces because they’re highly dimensional, so they would be like blobs that have this underlying character which if you extracted it you could identify as this factored construction. I’m thinking an Object would be an instance of this Space, and I’m not sure those shoud be capitalized right now.

This really gets back to Storyline because I have clear memory of examining these blobs for those characteristics, and in fact I remember that describes how group members appeared, that they didn’t have a single identity instance but existed to me in Storyline as these blobs of differing innate character.

Is that a monster? Or a baby monster? I’m talking the metaphor of monster to monster group. Connecting that to you on a hill.

I think the issue in my head is that groups are objects that manipulate in Togs, Triangular over gs, meaning when we count using gs as units which pass their attributes around, oh and here we go, I think: pass their attributes around is the Triangular mechanism, because as it scales, Triangular connects over, across and beyond, which means it takes up as much space as needed to process the potential manipulations, with all that space attached to the object as its permutation space plus all the partial associations, as in deciding where you count a versus b is the same as deciding whether you’re at 1 or 0, and that is a decision problem. So that’s where they come from. That’s deep: decision problems come from the choice of 1 or 0 in the gs process behind or otherwise connected to the group’s permutation space.

So, for example, when thinking through IC, that occurs within the larger LC, which occurs within larger contexts, some that resonate the 4 outward through CM64, and others that resonate by 2, and so on. The potential existence of those is an intangible existence of IC, which is where the intangible connects to the tangible. That’s why we use so many 2*2 matrices: they connect the 1 of a Thing to a non-specific 1, meaning an Object or Thing which is D4-3, is an iThing, which we represent as a 1. That’s why we can build using those matrices: we are linking them through the iThings, through the D4-3 existences. I can see those as threads in space, glowing, as they link iThings.

Oh my goodness: that’s exactly why IC expands, and I only now saw it full. I’ve been saying it for years, but I see it now as more than lights moving. If you take IC, and draw those threads, then they are searching for connection, which then idealizes to LC, which is 2 Things. That means you can compress those 2 Things into a 2*2, which has the effect of Attaching an iThing to each, which separates into an fD with the dividing 1-0Segment being 2 actual Things, actual 1’s, you and me.

So when I was walking I was thinking about how you and I are entirely separate entities built on the same core and, it’s another oh I see, because if you have a big number, a factored gs space so it constructs in ways you can follow, then there are many ways to get to the same value. That’s within; that’s Tigs, Triangular within gs, meaning we each build ourselves. These connect to the 3rd End, that which emits Storyline, and whatever you call it on your End. See how this makes an fD; it’s just like above.

So now the baby monster makes more sense, with the monster being 2 to 1, a double cover, for each element. That makes Triangular to each element in the baby, which generates that huge space for the monster. You can see it: now that we have this Triangular, we infer the other End to make an fD with that. We can CR that or project it to ideals on Tri and gs sheets.

That means when we are in the monster, those 2 Ends are you and me, meaning actually counted Things with iThings Attached. See the benefit of using Attachment as a Theory? There are ways an Attachment works, and thus we can Attach structures which read as 1 or 0.

Here’s are tangible examples: a necklace with a clasp which holds it together or a tow hitch or rail car connector, all are physical objects which fit together and either work well or don’t, which means all the gs constructions which describe how each was made and how it is being used at this moment in this way, and in what conditions, at what speed, and so on, they all Attach and thus connect across all the various Boundaries we can identify. And this gets to huge scales, like you could Attach metal to metal, but one is 500 years old, then you’re invoking all the cultural reasons why and what has happened over 500 years both in general and specifically.

Okay, so I’m just thinking here: the baby came from looking into the permutations so the product of any 2 elements is order 4. So this would be D3-4 because this fits to and within D4. So we found out why the baby and the monster group: they represent two levels of D-structure and D-process. So, if we were to continue past the monster group, we would be creating iThings a step further removed from, which means 2 levels of CR. That is uncountable.

And now I see that the monster is 1+4371(which is the baby)+96255+ 96256. So, I’m seeing Triangular which is the count of that 1 away, over 4371 as the 3rd End. And thus central and centralizer because of the midline. The factors of 96,256 begin: 1,2,4,8,16,32, then it is 47, then 64. Then if do a skip of 94, to 128, skip 188 to 256, skip 376 to get to 512, skip 752 to get to 1024. It’s all 10 of them. We can explain why this happens, right? Let’s try. Count the skips 47, 94, 188, 376, 752, for 5, which means 15 total. This fits 15 into a 10, which is the 3rd hand, which is Triangular.

Do the skips say anything? It’s really the 47 modding. Is that an IC where the Bip is 47 and iteration is around 2,3,4,5, and thus 752 as the 1,2,3,4 next? Seems like it. Why 47? It’s a prime, and thus a gs prime, which Attaches to 4*12, which is the IC of 2SBE2, which is fundamental. Fill this in: so the skip is this attachment, modded so it counts along, 1 then need 2, etc. Note also that 47 counts ‘almost’ to 46 and 48 through Attachment, so this relates the 23-24, all as worked out in D-structure.

So if we look at 4371, it has a factor in common: that 47: 1,3,31,47,93,141, 1457, 4371. So that’s neat: it’s 1,3,31, 47, then 93 is +1 to 2*47, 141 is 3*47, 1457 is 31*47, and of course 4371 is 93*47. I see this as pairing the 1 to the 93 but translated to Attachment, while of course 93/3 is 31, and thus this whole process is interwoven. And interwoven with the +1. So the argument is the plug between the factorization which generates 96,256 Attaches to the 4371 because both are 47 in factors. It’s telling that the 1 is in the main factoring, while the other is a skip in the count of 2^10. (Or 11, because you can count Ends to include not only 11 but from ‘almost’ 10 to ‘almost’ 12. That’s why the 2SBE2 bell rings to close that openness, that set, that gs space.)

The dimensional meaning here is extraordinary.

ok, finally feeling better to ramble about stuff nobody cares about lol. i feel golden eagle really put some effort into make three-body shine in the spotlight during the award show. the video they made for best direct award was quite touching with fans from around the world.

a lot of people feel that his guy from france really tried to imply that the netflix version sucked, because he said that only a chinese director can truly understand what the a chinese author is trying to express lol. kudos to this fan! btw, anyone from france knows who he is? i assume every fan they interviewed are some kind of influencer specialized in reviewing tv and films.

wang ziwen was right about yang lei being excited. he was too excited, and forgot what he needed to say. funny thing was he wrote the speech cheat sheet on his hand, and had to look at that twice, and everyone just laughed lol.

they also invited yang lei's wife, and she gave yang lei the drawing from their two daughters. their older daughter actually played little yang dong in three-body. how lovely!

his family really gave him the full support because they said yang lei actually took a year at home to edit the show, and he rarely went out. there was actually about 20 versions for the 1st episode, and he'd show every version to his wife, and than observe her reaction.

when they were accepting the best tv series award, yang lei and the producer waved at yu hewei and lin yongjian. yhw didn't want to go on stage with them at first, but ended up going (and he totally shoud), but lin yongjian didn't (he should too). i really wish that it could be like the western awards where almost everyone from the show is going to the award show when their show is nominated for best tv series.

btw. golden eagle has two categories for tv shows: one winner for best tv show which is also called 剧王 (king of all shows) by netizens, and 8 winners for outstanding tv shows. three-body is the one and only winner for best tv show, the king of all shows!

lastly, as i said in another rambling post about yhw's outfit and photoshoot, some people (including me) felt that he really gave off a bit of wang miao vibe with the docs on the wall and the glasses. this photo where he's only showing his back especially gave off the miaomiao vibe. it's really felt like that he was going to the award ceremony as a hybrid of dashi and miaomiao. 他真的超爱！

you know, everyone was so skeptical about the show before it aired. everyone was prepared for failure. but they did it! they proved everyone wrong with a masterpiece.

Congratulations to Tencen't Three-Body for winning the best TV series award, and Yang Lei for winning the best director award at the 32nd biannual Golden Eagle awards (Kun's 94/∞ Three-Body gifsets)!!!

The award show actually asked Dashi (aka a very clueless Yu Hewei lol) to deliver the case containing Ye Wenjie's red button to Yang Lei on behalf of Asian Defense Council. By pressing the button, a video featuring praises from Three-Body fans from China, UK, Nigeria, Sweden, South Korea, France, Mexico, and Canada was shown. We also got to see some special guests congratulating Yang Lei in the video, including Wang Ziwen and Liu Cixin:

Johnny Depp’s testimony, part 3, with my comments.

Before we start, I shoud point out why he sued Amber Heard. It was because of the Oped in Washington Post,  which was written and published in December 2018 by Amber Heard where  she talked about domestic and sexual violence. She never named him in an article.

Johnny Depp questioned by his team(honestly he is so slow, thank god there’s a speed button). 

Depp denies any abuse during the tattoo incident. 

His lawyer asked him what movie he was shooting in 2014 May, he didn’t remember it, but his lawyer reminded him, lmao.

During Boston, he says he only drank once or twice. He was very calm and was drawing in his notebook. And Amber was trying to instigate a fight. But according to his friend, Mr Wyatt, Amber was sad and didn’t say anything, only screamed at Mr Wyatt.  And here’s the transcript where Depp admitts using cocaine, powders and bottle of champagne.

Bahamas detox in 2014.  "I'm going to need the meds now." And she looked at the clock and she said, "It's not time."  He claimed Amber was withholding medicine. But Amber was doing what she was instructed to do by Lloyd.

Depp portrays himself as the man who fought his drug addiction(time stamps around 2 hours).

Depp claims that Amber threw a tissue with her blood from nose, but turned out that it was nail polish. No evidence was presented during that.

Depp claimed that Amber threw a can at his forehead on the island in December 2015. They were in the island on December 30th in 2015. Here’s the picture of him just three days later.  He had no injuries on his face.

April 2016, Amber’s birthday. No abuse happened. I grabbed her by the shoulders, I sat her down on the bed. I said, "I'm leaving. Please don't get up. Please don't try to stop me."

Depp testifies he told Heard he would not cite irreconcilable differences or any abuse in the relationship, when he planned to file for divorce.

They argued over the feces on the bed picture. At one point Heard was yelling, "Stop hitting me!", but  Johnny Depp says he was 20 ft away from her.

He denied any abuse allegations.

What have you lost due to Miss Heard making these allegations against you? Johnny Depp: Nothing less than everything.  Look how much did he earn after 2016.

Finally back home and able to properly post again. Again a bit too late for the actual day itself, but I hope you guys enjoy anyway :)

The pack spent a day at the beach and shortly after they set camp under some big sun umbrellas only a short distance from the water, Derek, Scott, Allison, Isaac and Jackson rented out some surfboards, all quick to paddle out to the sea, trying to catch one of the good waves.

Stiles stayed back with Lydia who laid in a lounge chair under a big umbrella reading as well as Erica & Boyd who were more interested to draw obsceneries into the sand, Erica cackling whenever a passing mother gasped and pulled her child away.

Stiles watched Derek catch some of the big waves, smoothly riding them out, making surfing look so easy. He smiled when after almost an hour Derek came wading back out of the water a bright smile on his face as he unclased the line of his board from his ankle.

“You look like you had fun,” Stiles mused as he handed Derek his towel. Derek just grinned, his muscles flexing as he dried off his hair. “Absolutely did. You shoud try it, too!”

Stiles just huffed. “Me?” he scoffed.” Yeah right! I have a hard enough time to stay on two steady feet while walking. I’d probably split the board with my head in less than five minutes.

”Derek snorted. “Oh, come on. You might be a bit clumsy sometimes...” Jackson snorted loudly at that as he passed by and Stiles threw him a glare. “But you’re more athletic than you give yourself credit. I could totally teach you!”

It took about one more hour of Derek explaining some of the basics of surfing and the pack mocking Stiles for Stiles to agree to give surfing a try.

“Ten bucks on Stiles not even getting up on the board,” Jackson exclaimed. “Ten he does," Scott offered in return and just when Stiles wanted to thank his friend for sticking up for him, Scott added “but faceplants within less than 5 seconds.”

Stiles glared at his traitor-friend as well as at the rest of the pack, each chiming in their own bets of how Stiles would fail on the board.

“Ten on Stiles riding a small wave within less than an hour.”

Stiles’ head whipped around as fast as the others’ to find Derek with an eyebrow raised in a challenge. He pulled his shirt over his head, handing it over to Stiles. “Wear this. It keeps you from scraping your torso until you have the hang of it and keeps you warm in the water.”

Stiles gulped, but took the shirt from Derek nonetheless, pulling it over his head. Derek smiled at him. “You ready to start your first surfing lesson?” he asked and Stiles threw another look at the grinning pack before nodding and falling in step behind Derek.

Derek pointed him towards Scott’s board, pulling his own from the sand with ease. When they had made their way over to the water, to Stiles’ surprise Derek made him put his board down on the sand rather than in the water.

“We’ll start with the basics. Paddling and popping up,” Derek explained and Stiles rolled his shoulders in preparation for what ever Derek had him do for the next hour.Okay. He felt stupid, laying on his board practicing paddling on land, but Derek said it was necessary and he trusted Derek. He wouldn’t just have him do this to make fun of him. And surely enough, after a few corrections of his movements here and there Derek allowed Stiles to move on to practicing popping up.

During the first try, Stiles slipped, crashing face first onto the board and the pack was howling. Derek shot them a red-eyed glare before turning back to Stiles, helping him up and taking a careful look at his chin.

“Don’t let that bother you,” he said in a small but sure voice. “You’re doing good. Avoid grabbing the edges of the board and you’ll be less likely to slip. I’ll also wax the board a bit more, giving you a better grip.

”Stiles nodded, weirdly aware of Derek’s fingers still caerfully holding his chin.Derek gave him another nod before turning around, prepping Stiles’ board.

And sure enough, about 30min later Stiles was able to jump and stand on his board correctly. Derek gave him a proud, teethy smile and nodded towards the water. “Now... Let’s try the same thing in the water.”

Ten minutes of paddling in the water later, Derek sat on his board and demonstrated popping up once more. Stiles watched as Derek got on in one smooth motion, riding the small wave expertly.

Derek paddled back to where Stiles’ was seated on Scott’s board. He pushed himself to a sitting position and pushed his wet hair from his forehead.

“Think you got this?” he asked and Stiles gulped. He took a deep breath, eyes shortly scanning the beach for the others who were watching them before looking straight at Derek again. He nodded.

“Good,” Derek answered. “Then get ready.” He looked behind them, watching a wave coming up. “You can catch this one. I’ll be right with you. You got this.”

The two of them got into position and when they found themselves close to the peak, Derek shouted “paddle, paddle, paddle” prompting Stiles to paddle with his arms as if there was no tomorrow.

“Jump!” Derek instructed and Stiles pushed himself up as quick and smoothly as he could.

“YES!!!!” Derek screamed as he watched Stiles catch his very first wave, feet planted firmly on the board as he rode for a few meters. When his board slowed down, Stiles jumped from the board, crashing into the water rather unvceremoniously. But he didn’t find it in himelf to care.

When he broke the surface, his face almost split from the huge grin on his face.Derek paddled over, a grin almost as big on his face. “Told you you’d be able to do it!” Stiles pulled himself onto the board, answering the high-five Derek offered him before turning his head to the shoreline.

“SUCK ON THAT, DICKHEADS!” he screamed from the top of his lungs accommodated by his hands held high above his head, flipping his friends off.

Derek just laughed as he watched the younger one, a fond glint in his eyes.

Another hour later, Derek and Stiles were still in the water.Stiles had ended up falling a few times while trying to catch bigger waves than that first one, but he found himself to not care much, the joy of allt he times he did manage to catch a wave outshining any frustration he might feel the times he didn’t.He and Derek sat on Derek’s board, Scott’s board swimming close to them, still attached to Stiles’ ankle. "Wrap-up session" Derek had explained when he had patted his board, urging Stiles to join him.

“So... how did I do, teach?” Stiles joked and Derek shook his head slightly in amusement. Stiles nudged him with his knee. “Come on. You can be frank with me... I mean, I did fall quite a bit there. But..” He scrunched up his nose, wiggling his head a little trying to get some reply out of Derek.

Derek lipped his lips and nudged Stiles’ knee back. “You were amazing,” he said in a low and earnest voice that made Stiles’ face heat up and chest grow tight.“Amazing?” Stiles asked, a shy smile on his face, and Derek nodded.

“Amazing. As expected.”

That made Stiles huff an embarrassed laugh, pushing against Derek’s shoulder.  “Yeah right,” he said. “As if ‘amazing’ is a word people actually associate with me,” he mumbled but when he looked up he found Derek looking straight at him, face open and honest. “I do.”

Stiles’ heart skipped a beat and for a few moments all he could do was stare at Derek, mouth slightly agape with disbelief that Derek - Derek Hale - had just said that. About him of all people.

“I trust your capabilities,” Derek said, eyes wandering to where Stiles had started to fist them into the wet fabric of his swim shorts. “I trust you,” he added and Stiles huffed out the breath he had held.

For a few moments Stiles just watched Derek. Who suddenly seemed unable to look Stiles’ in the eyes anymore. And Stiles felt lightheaded with the realization what Derek’s words actually meant.

Derek trusted him. He knew that. But that wasn’t what Derek had meant when he had said the words. Stiles knew Derek long enough to understand his words the way they were intended - as a love confession.

And it made him light-headed and giddy and tense and hot and cold... all at the same time. Because yes. He had hoped for this moment, prayed for it, for the past couple of years. In between all the times they were at each others throat, bickering, saving each others' life more times than they could count.

He had long been Derek's. And he had hoped, against all the doubt and self-depreciation in his mind, that maybe someday Derek might feel the same.

“I trust you, too,” he said in a voice so low it was barely a whisper. And given the bright, relieved smile on Derek's face the were had understood Stiles, too.

For a moment they just looked at each other, the bright orange and red from the setting sun reflecting in their eyes.

It was Derek who moved first, reaching out and cupping Stiles' face with one hand as he leaned forward. Stiles closed his eyes for a moment, nestling against Derek's palm before leaning forward to meet Derek's lips.
