I really wish we could go back to the days of actually acknowledging that ghosting is a shitty thing to do, and yeah sometimes maybe it happens, but you feel bad for doing it because you know it’s shitty, instead of this place we’re at now where gays are pretending they’re morally justified because “you don’t own anybody anything”. Like you don’t have to write 500-word essays on why you don’t wanna see someone anymore but a simple fucking “Not interested, sorry” text would do a whole lot better than keeping them waiting for inevitable disappointment.

This isn’t even about me, this is because I saw some shitheel on Twitter unironically post a handwritten letter he received (context is they live in the same building) after going on a date with a guy, expressing clear enjoyment in said-date, and even going as far as to schedule the next date, before ceasing all communications with the guy shortly after. The dude just wanted to know what was up, but instead of handling it like an adult, the dude instead decided to post the letter online being like “omg this dude is psychotic, please call 911 lol”, and then posted some of their private text messages shortly after.

Thankfully, it seemed like most of the responses were of people calling him on his shit instead of taking his side, but quite a few people were taking his side citing: “no response is a response” which while that’s completely devoid of empathy, immature, and just an overall shitty perspective to have, I can at least recognize that sure, unfortunately no response is in fact a response, but the issue here is that the dude actually gave a response AND SAID HE WANTED TO GO ON ANOTHER DATE! So that entire point is fucking irrelevant.

These are the people we’re talking about when we say the gay community is toxic as fuck. Everyone is so mindbogglingly selfish and self-serving. It’s all “me me me” about every god damned thing. I see these people post nonstop about how dating sucks or how everything is always just about sex, but they’re the reason that’s the case! It’s because assholes like them go through men left and right with zero empathy or acknowledgement that the man is actually a fucking human being with a life and feelings. They’re the center of the universe, it’s always about them.

Anyways, TL;DR: Quit being a child and learn to communicate your lack of interest in someone or die alone.

There are many things that frustrate me with the writing of Annabeth in the PJO TV Show, but I think one thing that I haven’t seen people talk much about is the mini-arc of Percy needing to help Annabeth with her sense of fun/humanity.

Just so we’re clear, I absolutely hate this arc.

Prior to the show’s premiere, I believe there was a quote from Rick discussing new-ish things that we’d see in the show, and one of those things was Percy helping Annabeth “tap into her humanity”. I can’t find the exact quote, but it should be on the series update Twitter account if you search it.

When I first read this quote, I wasn’t exactly sure what it meant, but I thought maybe we’d get an expansion of the theme of forgiveness that we got in the original books, or maybe we’d get an arc about Annabeth’s pride and how that gets in the way of her relationships with others. Or maybe they’d try and break down the ways in which Annabeth helps to uphold the gods’ ways of doing things, and align her more with the mortal point of view (which they essentially did, but not the overall point).

What I certainly wasn’t expecting was for them to strip Annabeth of most, if not, all of her smaller/softer traits, and give her this unusually stoic and stiff personality, where she suddenly has no familiarity with casual aspects of the mortal world (movies, Disney world, common idioms), and needs Percy to introduce these concepts to her in an effort to “unlock” her humanity.

What.

The.

Fuck.

Words cannot emphasize enough how much I despise this arc. Not only is it entirely nonsensical for Annabeth not to be familiar with these things (she was with her dad at least until the age of 7 and she goes to a camp full of other children who are regularly in contact with the mortal world; do you seriously expect me to believe that at no point in her 12 years of life, she never saw a single film, heard of Disneyworld, or heard common idioms and slang terms from her camp-mates? Seriously???)

But ALSO!

Book!Annabeth had PLENTY of humanity to go around! Even with her pride and initial coldness towards Percy, she plays hackeysack with him and Grover on the first day of their quest! She has a cute silly crush/admiration/infatuation on Luke. She nerds out big time over the St. Louis Arch! She’s the first to steal clothing from Waterland! She screams and cries when she encounters the mechanical spiders! She has an expression of sadness when she shares her backstory about Thalia and Luke! She gets lost in her little construction game at the Lotus, so much so that Percy has to use her phobia to pull her out of the trance! She grabs Percy’s hand when they first enter the Underworld because she’s scared! She tears up when it’s time to leave Cerberus!

And you stripped her of all these things, because you’re so desperate to overemphasize the Percabeth romance, and you felt that it was absolutely necessary to have Percy educate Annabeth on “unlocking humanity”??? Why!!!!

Not only did Book!Percy help Annabeth discuss things about bad parents and approaching forgiveness, but Book!Percy already had something important to offer Annabeth: loyalty, trustworthiness, and reliability. You didn’t need to take away her already-present traits and wits to convince us that Percy was the type of person she needed in her life, because we can already see what he offers her in the books. So why oh why did you feel the need to give us the silly “tap into your humanity” arc? Why did you turn her personality into something that it wasn’t? Why did you take away her depth just so her character could better serve Percabeth?

I don’t even necessarily agree with the criticism that this version of Annabeth feels like it prioritizes Percabeth more, but I can see why people made that complaint. Y’all took away so much of what made this character endearing, because you felt like it was a much bigger priority to have Percy help her unlock humanity than to let her be human prior to meeting him and outside of him. Not only does her personality get shafted, but her relationships with other people get shafted too! Her interactions with Luke are affection-less, she sent Grover off on his own in the Lotus so she could go off with Percy, and I don’t even think that she and Chiron interacted once this season; I don’t even think she mentioned the part about her calling him to come pick her up after she attempted living at home again!

But don’t worry; we’ll get plenty of scenes doubling down and tripling down on how Percy is the center of her world now! Yay!

Well first of all, I've been training myself more and more how to spot fake images. I've been reading every article with a more critical eye to see if it's full of ChatGPT's nonsense. I've been ignoring half the comments on stuff just assuming it's now mostly bots trying to make people angry enough to comment.

When it comes to the news and social issues, I've started to focus on and look for specific journalists and essayists whose work I trust. I've been working on getting better at double-checking and verifying things.

I have been working on the biggest part, and this one is a hurdle: PEOPLE. People whose names and faces I actually know. TALKING to people. Being USED to talking to people. Actual conversations with give and take that a chat bot can't emulate even if their creators insist they can.

All of this combined is helping me survive an AI-poisoned internet, because here's what's been on my mind:

What if the internet was this poisoned in 2020?

Would we have protested after George Floyd?

A HUGE number of people followed updates about it via places like Twitter and Tiktok. Twitter is now a bot-hell filled with nazis and owned by a petulant anti-facts weirdo, and Tiktok is embracing AI so hard that it gave up music so that its users can create deepfakes of each other.

Would information have traveled as well as it did? Now?

The answer is no. Half the people would have called the video of Floyd's death a deepfake, AI versions of it would be everywhere to sew doubt about the original, bots would be pushing hard for people to do nothing about it, half the articles written about it would be useless ChatGPT garbage, and the protests themselves… might just NOT have happened. Or at least, they'd be smaller - AND more dangerous when it comes to showing your face in a photo or video - because NOW what can people DO with that photo and video? The things I mentioned earlier will help going forward. Discernment. Studying how the images look, how the fake audio sounds, how the articles often talk in circles and litter in contradictory misinformation. and PEOPLE.

PEOPLE is the biggest one here, because if another 2020-level event happens where we want to be protesting on the streets by the thousands, our ONLY recourse right now is to actually connect with people. Carefully of course, it's still a protest, don't use Discord or something, they'll turn your chats over to cops.

But what USED to theoretically be "simple" when it came to leftist organizing ("well my tweet about it went viral, I helped!") is just going to require more WORK now, and actual personal communication and connection and community. I know if you're reading this and you're American, you barely know what that feels like and I get it. We're deprived of it very much on purpose, but the internet is becoming more and more hostile to humanity itself. When it comes to connecting to other humans… we now have to REALLY connect to other humans

I'm sorry. This all sucks. But adapting usually does.

I talked about this scene of Agatha recruiting Lilia in my priv, twitter acc back then but somehow I felt the need to bring it up again (and this time on Tumblr) since not enough people are talking about this.

I think we all, as a society, moved on wayyyyyy too fast from this scene.

Agatha lowkey didn't fw divination because she couldn't cheat her way through it. The way her face dawned in realization in each word that Lilia uttered to her.. I could almost see the thought process in her head, it's almost comical (do ignore the pict quality people 🙏🏻).

Agatha is so skeptical of Lilia at first, she's like “Okay, let's hear what other nonsense this old kooky witch has to say”. Only for Lilia to read her like an open book. And Agatha has only been standing and fucking around in her shop for like.. what? Ten minutes? And you mean to tell her this bitch already caught up on what it is that she was about to do? Bonkers!

“It's not the first time your witch kin betrayed you. But you survive, in a way few do. In fact, it's why you're here. And I am not interested.”

Her expression. These are the faces of a woman who's impressed, annoyed, pissed, and turned on by such a display of power and skill for a short amount of time. And dare I say that Agatha felt almost... a pity? Later on, for Lilia. Not because of her seeing Lilia screaming like a madman when she was in her kitchen. But rather because she knew what she was about to do. She is going to take Lilia's power, in one way or another. And that means she's going to kill her fellow centuries old, exceptional and magnificent witch. And it's a shame, really.

And on a separate note, can we also talk about the tension that Agatha and Lilia have in that scene? It screams history to me, like come on now. The show of push and pull, them going “Oh so that's how it is? Fine, let's play your game”, both witches knowing exactly what and who the other is, but the information never once scaring them and piqued their interest instead. I might be reading too deep into these but honestly for such a brief meet up, these two have so many things going on — it's kinda insane.

Usually at these sorts of meetings, no one is supposed to be on their phones, but Sabo tends to get bored when the older people go on long tangents during their spiel. So during the slow times of meetings, Sabo would secretly go on his phone under the desk. 

Pretending to keep all eyes on the speaker while actually just scrolling through Twitter or messaging you about how boring this meeting is. Dragon is the only one who notices when Sabo isn’t paying attention, but he doesn’t mind it since Sabo can pull his own weight when push comes to shove. 

You and Sabo were texting back and forth for a bit about mundane things when an idea popped into your head. You were getting bored waiting for him to come back home, so you decided to be a little cheeky today and send him a little bit of motivation~

You had to prepare your treat, so you left Sabo on hold for a bit, which he did not like. Sending you sad pictures of cats, increasing in volume with every minute you were gone. The latest sent picture is somehow sadder than the last cat. 

You come back to your phone notification going off, rolling your eyes at his antics. You text him to calm down and that you needed to go do something, while Sabo retorts back with that nothing is more important than alleviating his boredom. Then he quickly adds that unless you got hurt, someone broke in, or the house is on fire, then please feel free to ignore me until you are safe and healthy again. 

You smile at his message, sending him a quick “<3” and then posing on the bed to take a selfie. It took a couple of tries, but you finally got the right angle, lighting, and pose all in one. You quickly sent it over to Sabo before he sent another barrage of sad cat memes. 

Sabo, at the time of receiving that picture, had been called on by one of the other members at the meeting. They sought his opinion on the topics they had just discussed. Luckily for him, Sabo was good at lying and manipulating; he just sprouted out some fancy nonsense with enough charm, and mostly everyone would believe him. 

The other members all nod their heads and murmur agreements before moving on to the next topic. Sabo sighs under his breath and checks his phone, noticing that you sent a picture. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he opens it up without a second thought. Finding you posed on the bed, sitting on your knees with your legs spread, wearing only his dress shirt. Which was opened, revealing everything underneath in a tasteful manner, of course, a tease if you will. 

You were giving the camera a bashful look, making straight eye contact with the lens, so it would look like you were looking directly at Sabo when he opened up the picture. All your hard work paid off handsomely, as Sabo immediately felt his pants tighten. He curls his fist in as he breathes in heavily, trying not to show on his face that he has a hard on right now. 

Dragon silently quirks an eyebrow his way, but Sabo ignores him as he sees another text coming from you.  

“Miss you so much… could you please send me something back too, love?” 

The message was followed by a sad cat meme, almost causing Sabo to laugh out loud, but he quickly caught himself. Should he send something back? He can’t ask to excuse himself to go to the bathroom since this is somewhat of an appointment meeting. 

His heart started to pound a bit faster as an idea popped into his head: he could just take the pictures right now, under the desk, where no one would be the wiser.

So he does just that, slowly straightening out his back and flexing his fingers as he tries to focus on whoever is speaking. Sabo begins to slowly undo his belt buckle and unzip his pants, suppressing a groan as he shimmers down his pants to expose more of his boxer. He could feel the wet spot forming on his tip as he pulled down his boxer just slightly to expose some curly blonde pubes. 

He takes a few photos as best he can, just giving you a little tease of what's to come. He sends them over, and soon after, you reply with another set of your own photos. A shot of your chest, a shot of your dripping cunt, and one last shot of you playing with yourself. 

Sabo bit his lips hard upon seeing them, deciding to go even further as excitement and arousal started to heat up inside of him. He slips his gloved hands under his boxers and fully pulls out his throbbing cock. The cold office air hits his leaking tip, instantly causing Sabo to shiver.

This TikTok is 3 and a half minutes long. If you want to watch the video, go right ahead! But for those who don’t want to watch the full thing, I’m gonna give you my thoughts on just a few of the things she said in her video.

She talked about how Luke should post something on social media to show more appreciation to the fans. In multiple interviews throughout the press tour for season 3, Luke has talked about how he appreciates every ounce of support and love that has come from the fans and how he can’t wait for everyone to see Colin and Penelope finally get together. But apparently… to some (unfortunately), that’s not enough. Just because he hasn’t posted about how grateful he is for the fans, that doesn’t mean that he’s not grateful. To insinuate that he’s “inconsiderate” because he doesn’t post on social media is diabolical to me; it is not only unfair but it’s unacceptable. At the end of the day, Luke doesn���t owe us a damn thing.

The second thing I want to share my opinion on very much relates to the first thing. This girl talked about how he should post something for Nicola and publicly show his appreciation for all the times she stood up for him. To the people who have said this (and trust me, this girl is not the only one who thinks this) and believe that he’s ungrateful for her defending him.. let me ask you ask you something: did it ever cross your mind that he showed his appreciation for all the times she expressed her (platonic) love and respect for him privately? I’m sure they talk and text each other a lot. There are other ways to show someone appreciation- and it’s (to me) even more meaningful when it’s not on social media. Just because he doesn’t post about on social media.. it does NOT mean that he is unappreciative. Nicola has defended him publicly because she’s a good person and knows that he’s a good person too. There’s a reason that Luke’s cast mates (most of them he’s known for 5 years) only have good things to say about him. Yet, there are “fans” who want devote so much time and energy to talk shit about someone they don’t even know.

Lastly, and this is something I’ve addressed a few times before. She asked, and I quote, “What is the bullying that according to some of you he’s experiencing? Where is the bullying?” The way I see it; in my opinion, by asking that.. she has made it abundantly clear that she has NOT been paying attention.

I shared these screenshots back in July- they have since been removed from Twitter (I’m not calling it ‘X’ because it sounds like the name of a p*rn site). If any of this doesn’t count as bullying, then what the Hell is it? They weren’t complimenting him to lift his spirits up. He even said in an interview that he was verbally harassed for TWO YEARS because of Colin’s “I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington” comment at the end of season 2 (even though Colin Bridgerton is a fictional character)- last time I checked… THAT’S bullying.

She says that she’s “holding him accountable” when he hasn’t done anything wrong. Has Luke said or done something that truly IS problematic? If he has, I would gladly hold him accountable for it. However, I haven’t seen him do or say anything that is so awful that he has to be held accountable for it.

She also talked about how A would post something when Nicola posts something- she posts something; same with when the official Bridgerton account posts something and she would overshadow Luke. You can point all of that nonsense out all you want, but Luke has NO CONTROL over what she posts her posts on her own social media account and when she decides to posts it!! Regardless of how you feel about their age gap, she’s an adult who makes her own choices. She old enough to know to know right from wrong- just like the “fans” who have been harassing him for months.

One more thing, today.. she posted a TikTok about how Luke liked Nicola’s recent post and she was all giggly and excited.. with that being said, my mind is telling me one thing- that she is one of those people who only like Luke when he interacts with her on social media and/or is actually with her (whether it’s casual or in interviews). Now, I could be wrong; this is strictly my opinion- an observation, if we’re getting technical.

Overall thoughts: I know that Luke’s not a perfect human being and I never said that he was- no person living on this planet is perfect.. and I would 1000% hold him accountable if he did or said something that actually WAS problematic. But, from what I’ve seen.. he hasn’t done anything to deserve all of the negativity he’s been getting.

if all people did was say "x is a proshipper, block them", we wouldn't have an issue, but the fact is, a significant amount of y'all don't start with blocking. you start with slurs, nasty names, disgusting accusations, and downright deplorable behavior BEFORE you block us. if you block us. and when we block you, it's entirely possible you just create a new account to harass us from, or grab your friends to do it for you.

Imagine skk thought a mission was done, Chuuya is bandaging Dazai up since he got injured as a “calculated risk” per usual but there’s someone left and they take a shot at them. Chuuya moves in the way on instinct but he’s still touching Dazai so his ability doesn’t activate.

Dazai doesn’t hesitate with his own weapon & the threat is dealt with. But now Chuuya is severely wounded & trying not to pass out from the blood loss just in case there are even more of them. Dazai’s still injured & he calls the extraction team because they need to get there NOW.

Chuuya’s blood stains his hands while tries to keep pressure on the wound that’s *still* bleeding too much & Dazai bitches at Chuuya for being so stupid to take a shot that was aimed at him with NLH nullifying his ability.

All while thinking about where he miscalculated. They knew the number of enemies, there shouldn’t have been more, did they get sloppy? They should’ve triple checked before taking care of Dazai’s own wounds.

Chuuya’s still fighting the blood loss, offering short responses to all of Dazai’s complaints.

A smirk plays on his face & Dazai’s irritation spikes because /what/ is he smirking for?

Dazai shifts his hands to get better pressure on the wound. “Has Chuuya’s tacky hat finally eaten the last of his braincells? Why are you smiling right now?”

A little blood trickles from his mouth as Chuuya chuckles. “Don’t get to see you sweat like this often.” He murmurs. “Nice to not to see that stupid mackerel face sometimes.”

Dazai knows his masks are useless around Chuuya, as much as he despises that fact.

So, he shoves aside the deeper implication of Chuuya’s words even as heat rises in his cheeks.

Chuuya only chuckles again, causing more blood to push against Dazai’s hands and he hisses for Chuuya to stop it.

“Chuuya doesn’t seem to be taking this very seriously, does is his chibi sized brain not understand the situation?”

He hears a token growl from Chuuya but it’s barely loud enough to exit his throat. “‘m not worried.” He manages to push out.

Dazai huffs. “Ah, so Chuuya’s hat really *did* eat his brain. I did warn him about that, this is what happens when you don’t listen to your master. Clearly Chuuya needs more training since he-”

“‘Samu” Chuuya interrupts, voice low & raspy & Dazai slightly jolts at his given name.

He meets Chuuya’s eyes & though clouded with exhaustion, they still shone sharp & unyielding.

“Samu.” He repeats, moving his hands to cover Dazai’s, still pressing heavily against the wound. “‘m not worried.”

With their eyes locked & few words exchanged, Dazai understands. They never really did need much to communicate a lot all at once, did they?

With mild surprise & a reluctant fondness reaching to grasp his heart he can’t help the small smirk of his own forming across his face.

Dazai lifts one hand from beneath Chuuya’s, still pressing against the wound & begins to unwind his bandages from his wrist.

Chuuya grimaces as that. But Dazai sees his skin turning pale.

“You used our extra bandages on my leg, i could unwind those if you would prefer.”

Dazai gently pulls away Chuuya’s blood soaked clothes and begins wrapping up the wound with the bandages he pulled from his arm. All while doing his best not to aggravate the wound any further.

Chuuya’s abs are flexing with every move, every touch & Dazai can’t help but wish they could’ve gone home, where he could appreciate those abs moving pleasantly above him instead of in pained spasms.

Home. It’s a concept Dazai never thought would be within his comprehension.

Not truly, anyway. Not for someone like him. Someone buried in darkness with an endless wish for death.

Though he imagines Chuuya’s apartment might be close to what someone might consider a home. Along with whatever this thing /is/ between him & his partner.

It has been over a year & a half since the King of Assassins incident & it’s been around the same length of time since he all but moved into Chuuya’s apartment. They still bicker constantly & there’s nothing Dazai loves more than getting under the hatracks’ skin…

But there are /moments/.

Moments where they’re more than the roles they’re forced to play.

Moments where they’re just…them.

Though he would never admit such a thing out loud, there’s comfort in the routine they’ve established over that time. Their lives are ones filled with blood and pain and death.

Yet, there is a place where it doesn’t have to be *just* that darkness.

Who would’ve thought something so mundane would help hold his interest in his world?

Now, Dazai would prefer they get a chance to get back there. So when the shouts of mafia reinforcements reaches his ears, he’s quick to toss commands at the grunts as they approach.

After ensuring Chuuya wouldn’t bleed out on the way, they’re taken to one of the mafias medical facilities for treatment. Dazai complaining about Chuuya’s stupidity the whole way there.

After Dazai’s leg was fitted into his cast he, of course, found his way to Chuuya’s room.

And of course they nearly drove the doctor’s crazy with their constant bickering. They should be /resting/, afterall.

But later, if a nurse happens to find the two of them passed out, heads leaning against each other in Chuuya’s hospital bed…well, that’s no one’s business.

What happened with Olivia and Taylor and the credits/royalties thing?

literally nothing happened and everyone freaked out for nothing. i swear no one actually knows and just pretends to. 2 bad people caused all the nonsense and neither are taylor or olivia. Taylor didn't do anything, and Olivia didn't do anything. I'm gonna break it down so people can finally actually understand how it all works (i took music law/copyright classes in college and actually learned about what happened in this situation from professionals not just stan Twitter like other people apparently)

it all started when good 4 u came out and people online said it sounded like misery business by paramore. an ex-member of the band, named Josh- who wrote on misery business, saw that and wanted to take advantage of it. Josh is a terrible person with a flop music career, Paramore fans hate him. he saw how popular good 4 u was getting so he 'saw money signs' when people were accusing it of copying misery business (he literally said that in an interview... to look at a teenage girl and 'see money signs'... gross) and threatened to sue her for copyright. He's bad person number 1.

Bad person number 2 is Olivia's legal team/record label. Because we all know how the music industry works, they protect their money before their artists. Olivia's team saw the copyright threat and immediately folded and gave Josh the credit (and because he got the credit and was a member of Paramore at the time the son was written, all of Paramore gets a credit including Hayley). Olivia's label and legal team got scared that others would come after them with threats so they decided to just throw Olivia under the bus and be overly preemptive. Olivia said publicly that the bridge to her song deja vu was inspired by the bridge to cruel summer. Her team thought that was a loose end they needed ti tie up so they just gave Taylor and others who worked on the song a credit.

Here's the most important thing that I cannot stress enough. Both Taylor and Olivia have absolutely no control over songwriting credits in this situation. Taylor did not ask for the credits, did not need to approve getting the credits, and could not give them back or refuse (same with Hayley for the good 4 u issue). Copyright and credits are all internal issues with the legal teams of the respective parties, they have the conversations and hand out the credits, but the artist is never involved because again, they don't care about the artist they care about money. Jack Antonoff (who wrote on cruel summer) said he just woke up and had a songwriting credit for deja vu, so he wasn't even notified beforehand or remotely involved in any way. That's how it works, you just get one.

Anyone who says 'Taylor threatened to sue Olivia' is wrong and just has no idea what they're talking about. The only person who threatened to sue was Josh, the ex-member of paramore, and he started a chain reaction of preemptive moves. That's all that happened.

Ozzies: Between episodes 6&7 Stolas gets a personality transplant and goes from calling Blitzo his 'impish little plaything' and demeaning him to being head over heels for him, calling him by his name and bowing to him. When the car drives away the camera lingers on Stolas crying, though the episode ends on Blitzo and his emotions so we'll call this one even

Queen Bee: We see Blitzo's emotions in the aftermath in the form of a self-destructive bender, but noticeably what he says to Loona is that he's upset that he'll die alone. He doesn't say anything about being upset about feeling used or mistreated by Stolas (he even says his name along with the others before he throws up)

The Circus: Retcons galore backstory about how Stolas and Blitzo were childhood friends and despite using him for sex all s1, Stolas was apparently really in love with Blitzo the whole time?? It doesn't make a lot of sense but go with it. Episode ends with a song where Stolas not only implies Blitzo was somehow lying to him this whole time (Genius.com contributor suggests Stolas believed Blitzo actually loved him, which seems the obvious interpretation of these lyrics) but also makes him out to be a weak victim. He shows no guilt whatsoever for the part he played in making Blitzo feel degraded and used.

Seeing Stars: Stolas being framed as badass while he's choking his butler and it not being remotely bad on his part that he continues to sexually accost Blitzo in their first meeting after Ozzie's. Any criticisms Blitzo makes of Stolas (not remembering his own spells) are dismissed by Stolas with nonsensical arguments (it's relevant Blitzo can't remember Moxxie's phone number, apparently?)

Exes and Ohs: Stolas isn't in this episode or mentioned at all

Western Energy: Text message exchange after Ozzie's show Stolas giving a non apology where he doesn't actually address the problem, literally doing a 'I'm sorry if something I said or did upset you'. Episode ends on Stolas alone in the hospital where the viewer should pity him that Blitzo didn't come to visit :(

Unhappy Campers: No Stolas!

Oops: Blitzo dismisses the notion that Stolas cares about him by using examples obviously meant to favor Stolas. He is framed as jaded and unreasonable and Fizz is the obvious voice of reason. The imp who hates royalty is called a supremacist, Blitzo is the in between who dislikes Stolas and Fizz - the one who capes for royalty - is presented as in the right

Full Moon: Blitzo again criticizes Stolas, without getting to mention anything specific from s1. He is framed as going too far and tries to apologize. Stolas acts like the deal was a mutual thing even when admitting it was wrong

By my count that's basically no examples in Blitzo's favor. And I imagine if we counted all the Twitter likes from Viv on posts favoring Blitzo we'd turn up a big goose egg there, too

Careful, now! You laid out all the facts and stated them plainly, and we know that that makes a certain subset of fans angry and scared.

Viv can claim that "they're supposed to both be in the wrong" all she likes, but it doesn't mean a thing if every other word of writing in season 2 suggests the opposite. I guess the real test will come in Apology Tour, when we get to see who's actually doing the apologizing.

I'll be honest, while Deuxmoi always and still does post a ton of BS, thanks to the development of this never-ending saga...I'm starting to really feel like she's been used intentionally to push this narrative along all the way from the very beginning. Aka 2021.

A very out there theory but hear me out: Early on, the fandom had the general consensus DM was BS. Especially in regards to CE. Because DM was the one that first started spreading his super secret GF nonsense back in 2021, right before the introduction of Soba Saga. Her almost nonsensical rants about her having legit sources on this secret GF - while doing weekly podcasts where she insisted she never got any intel on him because his circle was so tight knit (interesting how that suddenly changed out of nowhere when someone showed up) - just made her seem like crazy cat lady gossip conspiracy Marjorie Taylor Greene on steroids.

She was the first to post that "dating Soba for over a year and everyone in PT/her circle knows about it" in early 2022.

They go public in late 2022. 2023 There's some Sunday Spotted (I could be wrong) vDAY post about CE and "fiancé" being seen in town at dinner (sounds very similar to the most recent vDay sighting). That was about 10 months before the super secret wedding and there had been no announcement of being engaged, minus the Tumblr blogs and random third rate tabloids and troll twitter accounts passing on the rumors. DM starts spreading around the same time some Tumblr blogs get the intel about secret engagement, wedding, rift in the family, people on his side not liking Soba, etc. Eventually it is revealed DM was right all along???? In a complete turn of events her credibility goes from zero to 1 (grudgingly of course, while she continues to spill BS daily)

Meanwhile, DM gets the first RPatz sighting with Scarlett and crew at dinner. Nobody believed it - as Nancy mentioned, it just seemed too farfetched with the way that restaurant was set up.

Then in early 2024 we get an actual RPatz sighting with with Soba/CE, and separately, sightings with Scarlett and Colin. Now there's more "credibility" to that random other sighting even if it still can't be proven.

Now...possible project with RPatz and CE's name circulating. Maybe just gossip fodder, maybe some truth to it. Time will tell. Coincidences once again.

DM gets the sighting of CE in LA with Russos. He actually confirms that one himself a month later.

Simultaneously, DM gets random sightings of CE doing other stuff where soba is not mentioned. Nobody knows really what to believe anymore.

But for every 15 BS things she posts, she actually gets 1-2 right. It starts to completely make her a hit or miss source but enough to get people riled up and worried if/when she gets something related to CE/Soba.

In a way, this strategy, if it were to have any salt to it, is kinda interesting. It also sort of enforces the idea of possible foul play. Because if CE is truly in such a happy, private, loveful relationship, why use somebody as uncouth as DM to throw out breadcrumbs? Especially since, in the past, his fanbase and most Tumblr blogs believed it was only legit if it came from someone like People Mag (his team's go-to). Ironically, Page 6 has been getting most of the exclusive scoops this time around, in addition to weird low rate tabloids that eventually make its way to the top.

I know I sound like crazy qanon conspiracy theorist, but I guess people see what they wanna see. But for the people who believe this relationship isn't as genuine as some want to believe, it kind of tracks that somebody's PR team pushing this out in ways to sort of make you wonder, question, and push back on the validity. Just enough to make you think, maybe, maybe there's something going on BTS that they're not saying but they're kinda telling. But you'll never know what the truth is. At least not for now.

I do find DM’s role since 2023 to be very interesting indeed. You missed nothing. Not one thing. She’s made herself be credible enough during this, but also, she’s questionable. So of course, take everything she says with a grain of salt.

As far as the last paragraph, what I will say is celebrities need to be talked about. Good or bad, they need the press. They need to be in the front of people’s minds. What better way to have them in people’s minds, and to have fans talk about something long past their expiration date than by playing a game. Fromsoft made it clear Marika is an interesting and compelling villain, to be both understood AND judged, and SOTE pointed out how horrid thing the Crusade was multiple times. Same with Griffith evil sick bastard Miquella manipulator; people write him off like this because they like Berserk or because they get off to this sort of villain over what he is in canon, not because of his nonexistent "character assassination 🥺"!

Fromsoft gave enough clues for their own stance, enough context, enough information and enough angles! They did what they could to write characters like real people and not caricatures, and gave enough clues to not make the story schooling you! But even IF they basically sat players down to hammer down the "genocide bad mohg beyond help miquella fell from grace revenge not answer" like if they were babies who haven't developed media analysis skill on their own yet, even THEN some people would still ignore it! Because some people use canon as just a bunch of prompts to shape it into what they like more, and there is no limit to how far it can get divorced from the source material! It is not something Fromsoft, or ANY writers of ANY story can prevent no matter what! And they should not try to! Because freedom of fandomry includes freedom of takes we absolutely dread to see! It's always been a double-edged sword!

Honestly, SOTE haters like this should not even be considered fans of Elden Ring, because they engage in these debates in a bad faith.
