Soup's ramble about small details because im going insane lmao
rockstar row is just such a cruel place for GlamFreddy, Like, first of all, are the FNAF 4 toys on display in the RR museum,
These are literally just CC's toys, idk if they're replica's or the real ones, but like why would they even put that on display lmao??? It may just be a fun easter egg but like this just comes across as if saying "yeah, here's the toys of the child that one of out animatronic killed lol" And that's not even starting to how they even PROCURED these???
At the far end of RR is the Ennard cardboard cutout, which may just be a piece of decor that i'm looking into too much but like if its not, then this implies that Fazbear Entertainment KNOWS about Ennard. As to how, I'm not sure, maybe since the games are cannon because of the "rogue indie developer", they came to know of Ennard's existence, does that mean they know what he did to Michael? and if so, they STILL made a cut out of him???? Is this one of those instances where a company "pokes fun" at itself in order to seem hip and cool?? because that's so messed up lmao 😭😭😭 do you think when Glamfreddy sees the cutout he has a visceral flashback to…something....and suddenly he's on the floor, just unable to move because he's reliving that something, and then he's just panicking for what ever reason and just shuts down windows XP style and has to manually be transferred back into his green room.
Its almost cruel in a way how Rockstar Row is basically just a MUSEUM for all of Michael's trauma and failures, and he probably can't even ignore it because he probably has to keep his greenroom curtains open 24/7 to ensure that guests can see GlamFreddy, and the fact that the Foxy cutout is directly parallel to his greenroom AND THATS NOT EVEN TO *BEGIN* WITH THE PLUSH BABY'S, IMAGINE IF GLAMFREDDY WAS FACED WITH A SITUATION WHERE HE HAD TO SIGN HIS AUTOGRAPH ONTO A PLUSHIE THAT IS OF THE ROBOT THAT KILLED HIS SISTER ALL THOSE YEARS AGO, Its so crazy how FazEnt just....makes merch of all the tragedy?? And profits from it, and GlamFreddy/Glammike just has to....endure that??? Like just constantly having your trauma being put on full display all around you is so so messed up 😭
I'm not okay 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Going Back: Ch. 8
~Coauthored by @zeitghest~
Fandom(s): Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: Things are looking up for Gregory. After putting the soul of a formerly-immortal killer to rest, he and his new family can finally begin their lives anew. Sure, Gregory might have been cursed with mysterious Remnant in exchange for being involved in this mess—not to mention his caretakers consist of sentient robots and ghosts… But there’s no doubt that the bond they share is unbreakable. They love him, and he in turn.
All in all, life is finally starting to go right for once.
…Unfortunately, true peace is a hard-won battle. There are other things to contend with besides William’s decrepit soul, and Gregory will learn that his role in the lives of the Aftons and Emilys is far greater than anyone could’ve imagined.

The clown was sitting in a pile on the floor. It was hard to tell where the carpet covering their body began and the decorative plushies and pillows lining Sun and Moon's room ceased. Ennard had collected anything soft and with a colorful pattern for their new friend. Everything clashed and gave off colors in such high saturation it may terribly strain the eyes of a person to look at—still, Sun told Ennard it was wonderful and soon it became Ennard's safety spot, too...
Then again, they didn't have a problem resting inside the vents from time to time. Being cramped inside tight spaces felt like home.
Alone and calming down from the recent fright, one of the clown-faced animatronic's eyes shot to the boy peering in from the balcony. All Ennard knew of the child was that he was a relative of Circus Baby—Elizabeth, and Mike.
“HEL—LO?” asked the robot, wondering if the boy was lost or had become separated from his older brother somehow.
“Hi!” Evan replied, still in a low voice but now with a tiny smile added on. Ennard didn’t jump at him, didn’t move to attack, no sharp nightmare teeth anywhere to be seen… That didn’t necessarily mean Ennard didn’t have nightmare teeth, but as long as they weren’t bared in aggression towards him, Evan wouldn’t mind. He’d seen far worse over the years than a robotic jaw full of jagged metal.
“Um… I’m Evan! I just wanted to say hi and thank you for helping the other night.” His eyes shone with the light of decades-old understanding. “Mike can be really mean sometimes, but I know he’s thinking the same thing. So’s Lizzie. But since they’re not gonna say it, I… I thought maybe I should.”
He paused, but only for a second, peering at the animatronic with a curious tilt of his head. He didn’t even give Ennard a chance to respond to the thank you before starting off on a tangent of childish wonder. “So… is it true that you’re like three robots mixed together? ‘Cause that’s kinda cool!”
Mike could be really mean. Deep down, Ennard knew they deserved it sometimes. Every once in a while, a more coherent thought made it through their scattered minds and they’d briefly come to the conclusion that everyone was frightened of them. Even Mike was, sometimes... That fear translated to anger, and Ennard would take it.
One day they’d make amends, but the road to forgiveness would be hard fought. Perhaps they could start by making friends with one of the little Michaels.
“THAT IS TRUE! WE WERE FOUR, ONCE... CIRCUS BABY WAS OUR LEADER...” Ennard explained, happy for the company but constantly looking behind the boy for fear of his big sister rearing her new, fresh face. “MICHAEL WILL NOT BE MAD FOR LONG. WE ARE MAKING AMENDS.”
Evan gave a bright nod, any tension that still lingered in his ghostly body relaxing as Ennard conversed with him. The robot was definitely weird and Evan could see why people thought they were creepy… But he could say the same thing about Sun, and he was nice, if a bit overzealous about hoisting kids into the air.
“Mikey will get over it,” Evan confirmed, then let out a small laugh. “Besides, even if he’s being a jerk, you’ve still got Puppet and Sun to hang out with! Puppet really likes you; so does Sun, from what I heard. Oh! And Gregory and Charlie do, too!”
While Evan was listing all the new companions Ennard had, Michael was desperately trying to avoid being captured by the Puppet in question. As she diligently crawled across the lattice of the safety netting, her shadow would overlook the bright neon tube. Atop the structure was where her long fingers scraped the sides, clinging to the hiding spot Michael hid beneath. If the Marionette was capable of speaking her mind, she would’ve asked the eldest Afton if he found this scenario nostalgic. Knowing exactly where he was, she created a tense scene before trailing off and away, her shadow climbing just out of sight again. After a moment, just when the warm illusion of protection fell back over, Mike would feel the Puppet's pointy fingers grasping for his sides.
As the familiar sound of Michael screaming reached the balcony, Ennard glanced behind Evan while they conversed.
“PUPPET FOUND MIKEY...” It was obvious from the shout.
Evan giggled, looking over his shoulder to see his brother scramble out of the tube, seeming rather frightened until he registered his attacker had been the very being he was hiding from. Only when Michael laughed did Evan turn back to Ennard, floating further into the room to perch on a neatly stacked pile of wooden crates and avoid the prying eyes of his brother.
“Yeah, he acts tough but Mike’s always been a scaredy-cat deep down,” Evan admitted, leaving out the fact that in the last few years of his life Michael had been the one doing all the scaring. Cupping a hand over his grinning mouth, Evan leaned towards the animatronic conspiratorially. “One time, Liz and I hid this huge fake spider under his sheets, and he—” The ghost paused to snicker at the memory. “—hee hee… Mike screamed so loud he woke up the neighbors. Our parents were so annoyed.”
Ennard, while laughing as quietly as physically possible for them, had begun to invest themselves into their conversation with Evan. While it was renowned to the whole of their strange little alliance that Michael was a bit on the sensitive side, Ennard never considered him a scaredy-cat by any means. For the sake of this very interaction, Ennard would agree.
“HE IS... A SOFTIE...,” they replied with a loving certainty.
Out in the playground, Puppet swung carefree along the structure. With no one else hiding inside of its confines, she joined Michael on the ground floor with anticipation of finding the rest.
In the ball pit below the balcony, Elizabeth laid paralyzed at the bottom. She felt as though she’d been laying there so long she may as well have become one with the floor. Though this was just a dramatic way of saying she'd become bored of sitting and waiting. Luckily, her wait was soon to be over as the Puppet and Michael trailed over to the plastic-lined pool of colors. Liz saw the shadows pass over her, but true to the game remained as stiff as a plank of wood, not even daring to flinch when the Puppet suddenly smacked the surface of the rainbow river. The plastic balls flew and clicked loudly upon collision with one another, and Puppet banked on that scaring one or more children into revealing their hiding spots.
“Hmm… I don’t trust it,” Michael said, gazing into the pit with narrowed eyes. Upon seeing nothing, he decided to take a more physical approach. Wading into the plastic pool, he began slowly walking towards the other side, making sure to take long strides and canvassing the bottom with his legs. It didn’t take long for his foot to collide with something hard, which he quickly determined to be Lizzie’s torso. With a satisfied grin Mike reached under the rainbow layer to hoist his sister up by the shoulders, holding her high into the air as he proclaimed his victory.
“Gotcha!” he laughed at Lizzie’s pout, throwing her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. A humiliating defeat.
“That's not faaaair...,” she protested. “You had to have been watching me hide! Admit it!”
Even if she had genuinely accused him, Lizzie was aware he'd ignore it like he always did. Puppet reached up and pinched her cheeks, eager to check out the next hiding spot. She’d been certain that the larger can structure wasn't anything Sun would make. His towers always stood in the same uniformed line, where as this one formed a pyramid. Gregory sure didn't know how to be conspicuous when he hid...
As they passed it by, she startled Gregory from his spot by removing one of the bottom cans on the stack. They fell over in a mighty pile over top of the boy, causing both her and Liz to laugh at his high-pitched scream.
“No way! How?! That was such a choice hiding spot!” Gregory complained. This caused Elizabeth to roll her eyes as she lay defeated and limp over Mike's shoulder.
“Mine was, too. Mike and Puppet are cheaters.” Which happened to be her excuse for every game she had ever lost to her older brother or their friends.
“YOU laid down in a pool of plastic balls! I created a structure!” Gregory countered, gesturing wildly to his broken fortress. The Puppet didn't have the heart or the voice box to tell him that she'd noticed his hiding spot the moment she saw it. Instead, she crawled past Gregory in search of her new best friend, the Sun.
Silently she shifted through the playground like a snake in search of field mice. It wasn't long before Puppet slipped quietly into the foam pit and come into contact with the harder exterior of the Daycare attendant. Light hardly escaped the pit after descending past the first layer of foam blocks, but it was the unmistakable and pointed shape of Sun's head that she could feel that gave them away.
“Oh! You found me!” Sun exclaimed, popping up like a jack in the box and scattering foam blocks every which way. He pulled Puppet into a brief hug, getting his overly-programmed affection out wherever he could.
“Now that was a good spot,” Michael conceded, now focused on finding their last player. “Okay, where is that little sneak?”
Evan was thoroughly distracted by the amalgamation of Funtime animatronics, though eventually the noise trickling in from the Daycare proper gave him pause. With a surprised gasp, he realized he could hear everyone talking… meaning he was the last one left.
“Uh-oh,” he murmured, looking to the doorway as he floated off the stack of boxes. “I should probably go down there…” He glanced back at Ennard with an apologetic smile, giving him a little wave. “Thanks for keeping me company! I’ll tell Mike and Liz not to be such jerks, but no promises.”
Ennard had been sitting in front of the crate, their knees pulled up to their chest as they regaled Evan with fanciful stories of their short times as children entertainers. Though at the commotion outside, it was clear visiting time was over. Still, there was a clear sense of gratitude in Ennard's body language. They had made a new friend, which meant being stuck in Sun and Moon's room was worth it in the end.
“WE WILL SEE YOU LATER...” Ennard easily let go of the conversation, their fear of missing out slowly going away the more their friend group grew. Surely Puppet and Sun will fill them in later on the excitement down below. “TELL... MIKE... WE SAID 'HEY'.”
With a blink, Evan had gone completely invisible. He floated down towards the ball pit, settling himself just inside the tube slide that connected to the drop off area. When his body returned to its usual opaqueness, the bottom of his shoes could just be seen sticking out while he gripped the slick plastic in order not to fall all the way down into the ball pit.
“Wha—aw, no way!” Michael exclaimed as he caught sight of the shoes appearing out of the corner of his eye. He stomped over to the ball pit, swiftly yanking Evan out and holding him up by his ankle. “You cannot tell me you were in there the whole time!”
“I was just hiding!” Evan said innocently, then laughed louder when Michael shook him gently.
“A likely story, but I don’t buy it.” Michael walked Evan to where the others had gathered, still holding him upside-down. Looking around the group, he asked with a raised eyebrow: “Innocent or no? Don’t let the face fool you—Gregory has the same one, and he’s a terror.”
With faux offense taken, Gregory would gasp and furrow his brows. “This is profiling, you know!”
Were the both of them mischievous? Maybe. Though Gregory wouldn't argue that was because they just so happened to look very close to one another... and has similar inclinations for trouble, even if Evan rarely showed his. Neither one could help it; the boys had even wondered out loud if they happened to be twins displaced by time at some point—though they’d both come to the agreement that such a notion was impossible at the end of the day.
“I believe him,” Gregory said firmly, even if he didn't really buy Evan's story.
This caused Liz to put her hands over her head, proclaiming. “You're right, Mikey! They're in cahoots!”
It was so clear now. At the accusation, Gregory took the chance at her distraction to push her off balance. With a surprised cry, Liz toppled over into the foam pit and into its depths while Gregory laughed at Elizabeth's very dramatic fall.
“Avenge me!” was all she could yell before pantomiming a drowning motion in past the lip of the pit. How was she going to survive with three brothers?
It was very quickly becoming clear that today, it was Gregory and Evan against Michael and Lizzie. After watching his sister unceremoniously thrown into the foamy sea, Mike let out an anguished cry. “Noooo! Arr, you’ll pay fer that!”
“WAH!” Evan shrieked as with a heave, he was sent flying into the middle of the pit.
The way Mike flung him had Gregory in stiches. The throw would’ve shaken a living kid to their core; if this foam pit was made of water, Gregory felt as though Evan would’ve skipped across the surface. As Michael turned, Gregory could feel the impending doom close in around him.
Suddenly it wasn't so funny—well, it was really funny. But if Gregory didn't want to be thrown into the pit too, he would have to run. It was hard not to let out of squeal of adrenaline, especially with Sun and Puppet cheering him on from the sidelines. Even Liz was laughing, trying to wade through the foam blocks to retrieve her younger brother.
“Hahaha—Evan, oh my god, you really ate it!” she laughed quietly, throwing the blocks around to try and get to him.
“Shut up, Liz!” Evan explained jovially, popping up and lobbing a block at her.
For now, Ennard would just be a quiet observer in their merrymaking. As long as they could see what was going on for the most part, they would rationalize that all of them were hanging out this way. Even if Liz and Michael didn't totally want to see them all the time. So hanging their retractable eye off the end of the balcony, they observed the fun and games and pretended that they too were chasing the group without fear or anxiety.
Gregory was faster than any normal kid his age, that was for certain. The stamina he possessed was out of place, though not unwelcomed in times like these. He huffed, jumping over the obstacles of his once proud fortress now laid scattered on the ground. Gregory would laugh, totally evading him Mike—
Until he landed directly on a can upon touchdown. The cylinder rolled and tossed Gregory forward, making the kid roll head over heels. Inertia had betrayed him and sent Gregory tumbling across the soft mat without much injury or worry. His hubris grew too big, and now Michael was upon him.
“Evan help! Do something!” Gregory shouted to his twin, the smile never wavering even when he tripped and nearly busted his neck in the tumble.
“Oh gosh, this is why we clean up!” Sun exclaimed worriedly, rushing over to help. He was able to perform a quick health scan as he approached Gregory, though when the boy appeared free of injury Sun opted to focus on stacking the cans to avoid another slip, which also allowed the others to continue their game.
Evan acted fast, practically warping to Gregory’s location just as Michael reached down to snatch the boy up. Michael’s fingers brushed the edge of Gregory’s shirt, his lips curled in a triumphant grin… when suddenly he felt two cold hands on his shoulders. He was yanked backwards, stumbling from the sudden attack and landing with a cushy thud on the mats.
“HA!” Evan cheered, throwing his fists in the air as he stood light as a feather on Michael’s chest. “Victory!”
Michael could only glare up at his traitor of a brother, the wind temporarily knocked out of him.
Gregory's deft hands brushed the dust from his new clothes. Laughing at Michael’s fall, Gregory came to his side and raised his hands in solidarity with Evan. After the short celebration, he nudged Mike with the toe of his sneaker.
It was never a good idea to let your guard down around Michael Afton—especially if you were his sibling. Before Evan could reply he was yanked down by a sharp tug of his shirt, landing flat against his big brother. Michael cinched an arm around Evan’s waist while simultaneously taking Gregory down using the same method, and soon he was rolling around with his brothers clutched in a death grip and cackling all the while.
Liz was content in watching the brothers wrestle each other at a distance. She'd learned long ago that wrestling Michael was an exercise in futility given how much bigger and more experienced with fighting he was than her. Watching how easily he took down Evan and Gregory reminded her of that fact. Instead she sat inside the pit with Puppet, juggling the foam blocks and throwing them at each other playfully instead of engaging.
“You’re such a sore loser, dude!” Gregory laughed.
“Pot, kettle,” Mike snapped, tightening his squeeze like a boa constrictor until it was almost painful. Then he released his brothers and sat up, letting them roll to the floor and right themselves.
“Well, with that out of the way—” Michael continued with a grin, acting like this whole venture had been planned. “—we should do some more exploring; there’s a lot more Evan and Liz need to see!”
“Thanks so much for visiting!” Sun chimed in, moving to help Michael to his feet. This was simply a ruse however, for as soon as the man was upright Sun bent to squeeze him in a tight bear hug. “You’re welcome to come back and play games anytime!”
“Oof—thanks, Sun!” Michael chuckled after the initial surprise of the grab. He did his best to pat the Daycare attendant’s side until he was released, upon which Sun turned his attention to Gregory. The boy got a slightly different treatment, being picked up and held against Sun’s chest as he rocked him back and forth a few times.
Sun’s hug was calming in the way an old friend would be. Gregory rested his cheek against the robot's metal chest plate and shut his eyes. “We'll come back soon.”
Meanwhile, Puppet was having some problems separating from Liz in the foam pit.
“I'll tell Charlie you said hi! We’ve really got to go now, Puppet...,” Liz said, prying the doll off her person with many reservations. It wasn't as if they'd be strangers again; for the foreseeable future they’d all live here in the same complex.
The Puppet dithered at her words, sinking further into the pit but mutely waving to the group. She missed them already; things felt wrong without Charlie being around ever since their separation.
Once Sun put Gregory down he offered Evan a wave, which the boy returned enthusiastically. He already felt much more comfortable with the Daycare attendant—not to mention the shy amalgamation watching from afar. Evan glanced up to the stage jutting from the wall, giggling when he saw Ennard’s eye staring down at him. He waved at this, a gesture which Michael caught out of the corner of his eye.
“Who are you—oh no.” Without warning Evan was hoisted into his arms. “Nope, you’re not interacting with them anytime soon. Let’s go.”
“But Mike, maybe they’re not as bad as you think!” Evan insisted, allowing himself to be handled with a pout. They both knew he could simply phase away if he got too annoyed, but for now he opted to being carried.
“Ha! Yeah, right.” Michael rolled his eyes, making his way towards the exit. As he passed by the ball pit he flashed the Marionette a smile, calling to her: “Bye, Puppet! I’m sure Charlie will come visit you later tonight!”
“Yeah—” Gregory agreed as Elizabeth caught up to the group. It seemed she overheard the conversation and came to put a stop to Ennard’s spying. She sent a jagged glare to the balcony and watched as the tethered robotic eye reeled itself in once it caught the sight of Elizabeth’s venomous stare. “—I think you’re forgetting how they totally saved our butts from Roxy, Mike.”
How could he forget that? Besides Monty actually getting his claws into Gregory’s back Roxy had been the closest to legitimately harming them. Were Ennard not waiting in the shadows, the wolf would have torn Gregory and Mike limb from limb. Ennard saved them without so much as a thank you needed.
Elizabeth on the other hand waved this off dismissively. She knew them—they were like her in many ways.
“That’s sweet, Gregory. Really,” she said, trying not to hurt his feelings as she actively disagreed with the boy. “But you don’t know them like we do. They’re a mess…” She wasn’t sure if she could even elaborate what that meant right then. “Look—I can’t hang around them. I was a bad person when I was with Ennard. I… Did things I don’t like thinking about. So it’s best if we just move on.”
Liz spared a look behind her. Ennard was standing in the archway of the balcony now, their stare fixated on the group as they headed for the exit. For a moment, Lizzie felt a twitch of empathy, though forced her sentimental limbs to keep herself moving. “Besides… They have friends here! They’re not alone.”
Gregory didn’t seem satisfied with this answer, judging by the way he twisted his mouth into a frown. Liz was a fairly closed-off person, and Gregory knew extracting more information about Ennard from either her or Mike would be like pulling teeth.
From over Mike’s shoulder, Evan performed a series of wild hand gestures that involved waving to get Gregory’s attention, pointing to himself, the little stage, and giving a thumbs-up. He was trying to let Gregory know that he knew some more things about Ennard that he could share, although whether this pantomime translated accurately he was unsure.
“Relax, will you?” Michael griped at all Evan’s shifting. Even so he released his brother when they reached the Daycare exit, allowing him to float over and take his place by Gregory’s side. “So… where to next? Gregory, you pick—you know what’s cool around here.”
Gregory may have seemed confused at first as Evan rejoined, though deciphered his little game of charades pretty quickly. He had known for a while now that Ennard was benign. Whatever weird things they’d been up to in the past were left in the dust.
“We could bowl! Or, we could visit Monty in the golf course!” Gregory suggested, but figured the guests they had should make the final decision. Looking to Liz, he flashed her a smile. “The bowling alley’s the place with the pizza slushee I was telling you about.”
Liz's pupils dilated as if she could imagine its taste, the anticipation giving her an adrenaline rush.
“What are we waiting for? Show us the slushees, Gregory!” she commanded, hooking her hand around his and pulling him to walk faster at her side. “Did you have one yet? Are they as amazing as they sound?”
Squished into her shoulder, Gregory laughed at how aggressive she became at the thought of food. It seemed that they had that in common, but he answered her truthfully. “The texture is so weird! But I think you'll like it, Lizzie...”
“Bonnie Bowl it is,” Michael laughed, ruffling Evan’s hair as he floated into step next to him.
It was a quick walk to Bonnie Bowl at Gregory and Lizzie’s pace, and soon the quartet were entering the brightly-lit attraction. The others were still there, though they’d moved to sit in some relatively more comfortable chairs around one of the party tables.
“Oh! Hello, everyone!” Freddy greeted, the first to catch sight of the Afton crew. He smiled brightly, gesturing for them to come over. “How has your exploring been? I thought you were going to call me when you were finished!”
“We’re not yet—this is just a pit stop to get some more of those gnarly slushees,” Michael informed him, using “gnarly” with the utmost affection.
Popping up from the seat in front of Freddy, Bonnie deeply inhaled a gasp at the sight of the kids. Oh dear; he’d been so wrapped up in conversation, the bunny forgot his primary objective: greet the guests who come into Bonnie Bowl!
“Howdy, kids! Welcome to Bonnie Bowl!” the chipper lagomorph greeted with a cheerful wave. He loved seeing new faces; Bonnie's favorite pastime was companion-creating when he wasn't showing off his skills at the bowling lanes. “Y'all said you wanted slushees? No problem-o!”
With Charlie busy teaching Sammy how not to completely suck at bowling, Bonnie was happy to go fetch the drinks from behind the concession counters.
“Where are you guys hanging out next?” he asked, keeping it light and friendly as he juggled a few cups out of their stands before activating the swirling slushee machine behind him.
“We're thinking Gator Golf. With Monty feeling better—” Gregory begun to say, only being interrupted by the reasonably excitable rabbit.
“HOLY SMOKES! Montgomery Gator's back in town? Shucks, I need to drop on in and see if he'll jam out with us!” Bonnie whipped around, slushees overflowing and spilling over onto his hands. “Freddy! You feel like gettin' a little band practice in?”
Evan couldn’t help but giggle at Bonnie’s excitable nature. This model was certainly a far cry from the rotting golden suit oozing with corruption from William’s evil deeds. By contrast, the Glamrock’s personality seemed more like the original—the one before William completely went mad. While Bonnie turned his attention to Freddy, Evan and Mike worked in tandem to slip the drinks out of the rabbit’s hands and wipe off the excess slush before it created a sticky film that wouldn’t do any favors for the articulated finger joints.
“Ah, well…,” Freddy began, trying not to let his face betray his hesitation. It wasn’t his best friend he was worried about, since Bonnie clearly had no memory of anything going down that fateful night in the golf course. Monty was the focus of Freddy’s concern, for even if the gator didn’t remember the event either, he at least knew what he’d done.
During one of their conversations, Freddy had been able to give Monty a high-level run-down of what happened with William and Vanny… including the fact that he’d been forced to decommission Bonnie. Monty was understandably distraught—he’d heard the whispered rumors between staff ever since he took his place as the band’s official bassist, although he couldn’t believe they were true. Monty was loud, sure, but he wasn’t violent—especially not to a fellow animatronic! He and Bonnie were friends, and when Freddy confirmed that he was in fact physically responsible for the bunny’s downfall, Monty needed some time to process. He’d returned to his usual self by now, though none of them expected Bonnie would be back from the animatronic graveyard for a visit so soon, if ever.
It was times like these Freddy really wished he still had his connection to the internal Pizzaplex network… Then he could at least give Monty a heads-up. For now, all he could do was smile at Bonnie and Evan’s expectant faces and give them a nod.
“Yes, we can certainly visit Monty,” Freddy said, placing a hand on Bonnie’s arm. “Although, he may not be up for band practice tonight. However, I am sure he would appreciate the company for a round of golf.”
Clenching his hands, Bonnie seemed to shake a little at the excitement of chilling with two of his best friends. Everyone else was stuck in the Parts & Services department. That was no fun, but Bonnie couldn't hang out with any of them until their maintenance was over.
Liz felt nostalgic when hearing the name Montgomery Gator—a guest character on the old Sunday morning cartoon her father and Henry used to act and write for. For some odd reason, William’s idea of an American accent was speaking in the richest southern twang he could muster. These voices accompanied by practiced banjo playing could be heard from the workshop whenever he and Henry were recording themselves and the instruments for the band. Monty wasn't a main character before, but Liz was happy that Sammy gave the old gator his time to shine.
“Evan—are you excited to play golf?” she asked, wanting to see if her brother was on the same level of hype as Bonnie and herself. With pizza slushee in hand, she was all pepped up and raring to go.
“Heck yeah!” Evan exclaimed, practically vibrating with excitement like the rabbit.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” Michael said, ushering the group forward with a light push to Gregory and Liz’s shoulders.
Freddy fell into step with Bonnie at the back of the line, waving to Charlie and Sammy as they left with the promise to meet up later. He and Bonnie walked and talked, still catching up on life and things the rabbit had missed out on—only the good things for now. The closer they got to Monty’s attraction the more nervous Freddy became, though he did his best not to show it.
Everything would be fine; he had to learn to stop fretting so much.
The kids entered Monty Golf, some in search of the character, the others ecstatic to play golf for the first time in ages. Bonnie grasped onto Freddy's upper arm, grinning like mad. Monty's attraction only seemed to grow in popularity since he’d been away. The renovations were obvious even from the outside of the. Bonnie wondered if that was why it took them so long to fix him—were there other plans Sam had in mind first?
This would be a question for the old CEO later; Bonnie had something more pressing for Freddy now.
“Buddy... Amigo... What's with the jitters?” he asked gently. Bonnie hoped that he wasn't putting his friend on the spot, but he could see through Freddy's calm and collected exterior with ease. It was the tense way he carried his shoulders. Bonnie’s coding made him blessed as a people-person and could see hesitancy from a mile away. “You nervous about all of us hanging out again? I can understand that... But I swear it's gonna be just like old times!”
“Ah, yes, I… I am just thinking that it is still a bit strange to spend time with you all in this form,” Freddy replied with an easy smile, skirting around the truth and trying to put the focus on himself more so than Monty. Goodness knows the gator was about to get the shock of his life…
Speaking of which—
“Hey, squirt!” The bellow was sudden and loud, quickly followed by an equally raucous laugh as Monty hopped out from around a corner. He’d spotted Gregory first, instantly honing in on the boy from his voice. Hands on his hips, the gator flashed the little gaggle of kids a wide grin.
“I wasn’t expectin’ a visit so soon!” he continued cheerfully, his tail swaying as he took stock of Lizzie and Evan. “But any friends of Fred and his lil’ guy are always welcome! And hey—y’all didn’t tell me Gregory had a twin!”
“Uh… um…” Evan suddenly wasn’t able to speak, staring up into the star-shaped glasses perched atop Monty’s snout. He seemed nice, but damn was this guy big.
“He’s a little shy,” Michael explained, picking Evan up to set the boy on his shoulders. The added height certainly helped, for Evan apparently also forgot he could float. Now that they were a bit more level, Evan offered Monty the smallest of smiles.
“H-Hey…,” he said in a tiny voice, coupled with a hesitant wave.
“Hey!” Monty laughed, throwing his head back and accidentally making the poor ghost jump and grip onto Michael’s hair like a lifeline. While Mike tried to dislodge his brother, Monty turned his attention to Liz. Crouching down, he hummed as he fixed his gaze on Elizabeth. “Hmm… Lemme guess: secret lil’ sister? Naw, wait—definitely older than those two guppies, right?”
He was a lot different than the old Monty in the cartoons, but he’d kept his easygoing personality, just with an upgraded look. Liz glanced up to the gator, stars in her eyes. Where Evan was predictably frightened, Liz was curious.
“Older, yes,” she confirmed, a shy smile tugging the corners of Elizabeth's mouth. “But I am their sister! I'm Elizabeth, and that's Evan!”
Outside the attraction it took a little confidence boosting from Bonnie to get Freddy to even consider going inside. Little did he know it was much more than that, it was stalling to prepare for what could be an inevitable breakdown between the three longtime friends... Once inside, Bonnie saw that Monty was turned around and speaking to the little girl.
Ooooh, this was going to be the perfect opportunity to get the drop on his pal.
The bunny was quietly sneaking. To anyone who saw him, Bonnie placed a finger over his snout, asking for their silence in exchange for the scare he was about to give to one of his favorite bandmates. Bonnie's arm wrapped over the front of Monty's chest, the other fist gently nuzzling the side of the Gator's head as Bonnie's “headlock” felt more like a backwards hug.
“Old top! It's sure wild to see you again! How's my rockin' Gator friend?” Bonnie questioned enthusiastically.
Monty’s reaction was the complete opposite of what one would expect. Instead of bursting into surprised laughter and immediately tackling Bonnie to the ground in a good ol’ fashioned wrestling match, the gator simply… froze.
“Ah, Bonnie wait—!” Freddy was far too late, his human legs no match for the rabbit’s long strides. He made it to the pair just as Monty was embraced, and he could see the gator‘s entire body instantly tense.
“Hey guys, how about we go start a game?” Michael suggested, figuring the trio of old friends needed to be alone for a moment. With Evan still on his shoulders and hands on his other siblings’ backs, he quickly ushered Gregory and Liz towards the check-in area where they could grab neon golf balls and clubs. “We’ll catch up with the others later!”
Freddy couldn’t even flash him a thankful smile, his focus completely on Monty. The gator wasn’t even simulating breathing now, truly looking like he’d shut down on the spot with every joint locked in place.
Except for his eyes, that is. Even behind the dark shades it was clear to see those red irises slowly shift to where Bonnie’s face rested on his shoulder. In a soft, almost whispered voice, Monty managed to squeak out: “Bonnie, you…. You’re back?”
“A'course I came back! Always do, chum,” Bonnie answered, laughing nervously. There was a light squeeze before Bonnie gave up on the ambush embrace he planned for his pal. Where Freddy and Bonnie reconnected so instantaneously, this felt stilted. Awkward.
Bonnie waited, watching as the kids reluctantly waved goodbye to start their game with their eldest chaperone. When they were out of sight beyond the ticket booth, Bonnie let go to fidget nervously with his hands. After clearing his throat, Bonnie had asked in a subdued voice: “What's wrong, sour-carrot? You look like you've seen a ghost.”
Maybe that was the wrong euphemism. Evan and Liz were wonderful kids despite their recently deceased status.
Monty didn’t answer for a moment, simply staring at Bonnie with an indecipherable, wide-eyed expression. Inside, his thoughts were a jumbled mess. The last time he’d encountered his old friend had ended with Bonnie in a broken heap on the golf course green, soon to be carted off by Vanny and used for William’s evil purposes.
Of course, Monty remembered none of this. All his information was provided secondhand by his former ursine band leader. Even so, he swore he could feel the remnants of purple outer suit casings in his sharp claws.
“Monty?” Freddy prompted when the gator failed to respond. Reaching up, he clasped one of Monty’s hands in-between his own, squeezing tightly. “Bonnie was recommissioned by Michael and Sammy yesterday. Unfortunately, he has lost a bit of time due to when the last copy of his AI was saved. I have been filling him in with all the good things he missed.”
Red eyes rolled to meet Freddy’s, trying to comprehend what he was saying. Bonnie… didn’t remember either? Not only that, but judging by the greeting Monty just received, the rabbit didn’t even know what happened.
“Heh… ‘s that so, Bon?” Monty asked. The guilt inside was intense, but he did his best to push past it. He certainly didn’t want to be the one to tell Bonnie what happened the last time he set his paws in Gator Golf. Monty slipped his claw out of Freddy’s grasp to clap it on Bonnie’s shoulder with a chuckle. “You sure picked a heckuva time to take a nap! Glad you’re back, though—once the others are up and runnin’, we can all golf together again. Then I can have a real challenge!”
There was a pause. Bonnie tried to shake the feeling of Monty being condescending—because that wasn't really what was going on. No, Monty was happy to see the old bassist back from the workshop, looking brand new and fresh-faced. Batting his eyes in confusion, Bonnie looked to the firm hand on him shoulder and let out a singular, dry chuckle. His hand came up, affectionately resting over Monty's gloved palm. Everything seemed fine until Bonnie asked them:
“Y’all must take me for such a silly rabbit, don't you?” Hurt and confusion laced his tone more than anything. His voice shuddered, as if he was afraid to rock the boat of their social hierarchy. “You're keeping secrets. I can tell you're hiding something...”
The grip tightened over Monty's hand, nearly uncomfortably so. Bonnie's large and expressive pink eyes blinked at him before looking away. After all this time, did they seriously not trust him with the truth? What did he have to do to prove that he was just as capable as the other bandmates?
“I see what's really going on here...,” Bonnie said with a hurt scoff. For a moment, he didn't quite sound himself. Then, the look of hurt banished itself and Bonnie glanced up to Monty with a wryness in his grin. “You're both planning a party without me, aren't you?”
For one heart-dropping second, Freddy thought they’d failed. Somehow William was still in there, lurking in secret for the best time to strike—
But upon Bonnie’s pure suggestion of a secret party, Freddy’s artificial heart instantly began to relax. This was Bonnie, his old friend. His best friend. He wouldn’t hurt a fly, let alone a child.
“Oh, darn… you were always a good guesser, Bonnie,” Freddy replied with a laugh, a bright grin spreading across his face. Brush past the bad feelings and move onto the next good thing—that’s all they could do to go forward. He looked to Monty with a sigh. “It seems we still cannot keep anything from this silly old rabbit.”
“Sure can’t!” Monty agreed, just as eager as Freddy to move on. It’d take some time to get totally comfortable interacting with the former bassist again, but at least Monty now knew Bonnie didn’t hold anything against him. With a wide, sharp-toothed grin, he placed his hands on his hips and added: “But even if we were plannin’ somethin’, we can’t very well tell ya if it’s a surprise, can we?”
Bonnie’s hands flew up, touching his cheeks as he stared on with unbridled delight.
“A surprise party?!” he gasped, then quickly folded his hands over his mouth at the connotations. He’d have to be quiet if they didn’t want the kids to overhear. How exciting! Bonnie couldn’t remember the last time he’d thrown a surprise party! Why, it must have been ages… Turning to Monty, Bonnie raised and lowered his eyebrows in an attempt to be charismatic.
“So who’s getting the party? I think Freddy mentioned his little boy’s turning thirteen this month, right?” he replied in a whisper, nudging the gator softly with his elbow.
“Hmm… suppose we might as well let Bonnie in on the fun,” Freddy murmured with a sly grin, hooking an arm through his friend’s elbow. He repeated the amiable gesture with Monty, using the leverage of their arms to pull his friends into a conspiratorial huddle. “Yes, we are hosting a party for Gregory! It is in the very early planning stages, but we are going to throw him the best one he has ever had!”
It may be the only party Gregory’s ever gotten, for all Freddy knew. There would be many logistics to work out, and they’d definitely want to make sure his foster parents were off their backs before the event, but once all the animatronics were on board—not to mention any androids and ghosts they could rope in—it was sure to be a party like no other.
Monty seemed to echo most of these thoughts, his tail sweeping excitedly across the floor as he added in a low timbre: “Yeah, me an’ Fredbear are on the plannin’ committee! I can make an awesome party on my own, but with y’all helpin’ it’ll be the coolest one the Pizzaplex has ever seen!”
At the proclamation Monty slung an arm around Bonnie’s shoulders. The gesture was still hesitant, and clearly the gator wasn’t using his typical strength—he simply rested his arm around his friend, not daring to pull him close or even squeeze for fear of accidentally causing damage. Still, he was making progress already… slow and steady, but progress nonetheless.
Bonnie on the other hand squeezed himself in close; he really missed the guy. Ever since Samuel made Monty, Bonnie thought of himself like a mentor to the younger animatronic. He'd nod to them as he listened to the incredibly loose plan. Though Bonnie clearly had gears turning in his head.
“Gotta wait for the others to be back in the saddle,” he remarked, referring to their friends currently still in the shop. “Chica's the best with party planning. Besides we couldn't do this without Roxy or music from the DJ...”
When the children weren't here, he'd have to start conscripting the help of all their companions. After all, Gregory was a special guest. Surely Sam wouldn't mind if they go all out for their newest friend.
“We should see how the game is going,” Freddy suggested. “Perhaps we can join in—or at the very least, root for a winner.”
Bonnie perked up at that. It might ease things better for himself and Monty. The gator could just be stressed from his own recent repairs; being out of commission was no joke.
Not to mention the inexplicable nightmares Bonnie remembered getting while he was out.
He wondered why exactly Sam had programmed them to dream. It was an odd choice, but maybe it was to keep them stimulated mentally for the next time they woke up? Or perhaps it was likely just a result of being offline for so long. Bonnie would ask about this later, after he's done hanging out with his pals. For now he followed the former Glamrock leader, finding the group of kids bickering at someone cheating.
“Evan used his ghost powers to move it up the incline!” Liz huffed, a scrunched look on her face as Gregory shook his head.
“Maaaaybe you'd know real skill if you had any, Lizzie,” Gregory brushed off, making Elizabeth gasp at the accusation with her hand over her chest in a look of over exaggerated offense.
“There is no way that ball went all the way up that incline when hit from that angle,” Michael pressed, one hand on his hip while the other held a golf club loosely dangling from his fingertips. When he caught sight of the animatronics he perked up, waving the huge gator over. “Perfect timing! Monty, we need a judgment call!”
“My spec-i-a-lity!” Monty replied with a grin, dragging the word out in his languid drawl. He moved around to stand at the beginning of the putting green, analyzing the situation. “Alright, what’s up? I heard somethin’ about cheatin’?”
“Lizzie and Mike think I can’t hit the ball from here up over the hill!” Evan said, an annoyed pout on his face as he pointed out areas of interest.
“Not without using your powers,” Michael clarified, sounding a bit haughty. He just knew he and Liz were right about this. “That’s the important bit.”
“Powers, huh?” Monty hummed, scratching his chin. “Well, I don’t know nothin’ about that, but it’d be pretty hard for a squirt like you to smack the ball outta the park from that angle…”
Evan let out a shocked gasp not unlike Lizzie had, while Michael cheered and gave his sister a high-five. The little ghost huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. Okay, so maybe he had nudged the ball just a tiiiny bit to make it crest the hill—but the others weren’t supposed to know that.
Gregory gave up a similar pout when Liz stuck her tongue out at the duo. Elizabeth was wise to Evan's tricks. Cassidy's own moral greyness rubbed off on him throughout the years, and Liz could see him being obvious when messing with their environment.
“There's no need for cheatin',” Bonnie reminded the group, laidback and casually leaning his elbow on Freddy's shoulder as he told the kids “As long as you have fun, the score doesn't matter!”
Which was easy for Bonnie to say. When he and the others got into bowling matches then it was a different story. It's about principal and having a reputation to uphold then...
“Fine. Call the score then!” Gregory said, replacing the flag back at the 8th hole. He casually held out the special glowing golf ball to Evan and keeping his own back in his palm.
Grumbling slightly, Evan took the ball from Gregory and placed it in the tee-off zone. Picking up his club from where it’d been discarded on the ground, he lined up his shot and smacked the ball as hard as he could. This time, it sailed right over the hill!
…And well past it, too. There was a collective groan from the twins as the ball plopped into the ball pit “river” with a light smack. Monty laughed heartily at this, going so far as to pat Evan on the back with enough force that he pitched forward slightly in mid-air.
“See?! Ya don’t need to cheat to hit the ball hard enough!” the gator pointed out with a grin. “You’ve just gotta get riled up! A kid after my own heart…”
He pressed a claw to his chest, and Evan chuckled at the gesture. Monty was definitely growing on him, that was clear to see. The gator’s tail swept the floor and playfully smacked Gregory’s ankles as he gestured for the boys to follow him over to the faux rainbow water. “C’mon—I’ll help ya look for your ball so you can beat those sore losers fair and square!”
With a short spin of her putter, Liz wacked her ball in hopes of sending it as true as Evan had previously. Her pure skill managed to send it just short of the hole.
“My money’s on the little pink spit-fire,” Bonnie whispered as not to discourage the other children as they played.
Freddy hummed, tracking the ball’s movement with an approving nod.
“I would default to Gregory as my top choice, although Liz certainly provides some fierce competition,” he added, leaning into Bonnie conspiratorially. “They have Michael beat for sure.”
“Hey! I can hear you, Freddy!” Mike snapped, although based on Freddy’s grin he was well aware of that fact.
“Michael—” spoke the rabbit with a thumbs up. “—I believe in ya, sport!”
He may not know the kid well, though there was a strange urge to give him encouragement more so than usual. It didn't exactly seem out of the ordinary at the time, which led Bonnie to lean into the idea.
“Alright!” Monty exclaimed, walking back to the group with a huge grin and a twin clutched in each claw. They hung by their ankles, looking quite content and laughing as they swung to and fro. “I caught the missin’ ball and two lil’ squirts! Had to get ‘em outta my river ‘fore they get feisty and start goin’ after guests, y’know?”
“Montgomery, please put Gregory down…,” Freddy chided with fond exasperation, though his glare sharpened as Monty only lifted them higher in response.
“Heck naw! Look at ‘em—they’re havin’ the time off their lives! Right?!”
Evan could only manage a thumbs-up between gasping breaths and laughter, enjoying this predicament wholeheartedly. Now that the animatronics couldn’t hurt him, they were actually super fun—even the biggest, scariest ones.
Freddy sighed, crossing his arms in front of his chest. Monty loved to roughhouse, and coupled with Gregory’s new immortality the boy should be fine, but Freddy couldn’t help but worry.
“See, Bon? I can’t do nothin’ fun without Fredbear on my back!” Monty griped, then let out a dramatic sigh as he looked between the boys, obviously plotting his next move.
“Shucks Monty, it's a good thing I got back when I did. Ol' Fredbear needs to wind down a bit,” Bonnie remarked, indicating that his friend was worrying far too much around the safest robots ever designed.
“Sure does—here, catch!” With an absolutely wicked grin, Monty chucked Gregory up and forward, sending the boy cartwheeling through the air to land right in Freddy’s waiting arms that reached up to frantically snag his son. Monty had no doubt Freddy would make the catch, his AI having calculated the perfect trajectory and his simple trust in the bear making up the rest.
“Montgomery Gator!” Freddy snapped in a tone that said, you’re lucky I’m not going to decommission you for that. Monty threw back his head in a raucous laugh, though before he could try the same with Evan the boy popped out of existence to plant himself atop Monty’s shoulders.
“Wha—yer fast, little guy!” the gator exclaimed, feeling the sudden lightweight of a child sitting on him, small hands gripping his mohawk to steady himself.
Gregory was still laughing. Gone were the days of apprehension with Monty; the giant alligator had made a friend for life now.
“Sorry, Dad! I’m fine, though; seriously!” he reassured. It wasn't long before Gregory settled comfortably in Freddy's arms, the giggles from his sugar rush coming to a slow end as he admired the speed and mastery Evan was gaining over his ghostly powers.
He felt proud when watching him have fun. From what Evan told him, neither he nor Liz have had any fun for a really long time. Gregory was glad in that moment; all of the terrible things that'd happened to them led to this single, unpredictable and strange time to be in. For the first time he could remember, Gregory felt like he was in a big family without being completely forgotten about.
Despite how the gator could vex him, Freddy couldn’t stay mad at Monty for long. Within seconds his glare had softened to an affectionate smile, letting Gregory rest on his chest as he practically felt the boy’s energy leave his body.
“Perhaps we can postpone the rest of the game for today,” Freddy suggested gently, brushing Gregory’s bangs out of his face.
“Aww, leavin’ already?!” Monty lamented, looking upside-down at Evan who shrugged in response.
“Mm, yeah we should check in with Sam and Charlie,” Michael said, glancing at the time on his phone. They still had a few hours before dayshift, but there were some things they wanted to get done and discuss before leaving for the day.
“Alriiiight… well like I said, y’all are welcome anytime!” Monty reached up to pluck the little ghost off his shoulders with careful claws, setting him on the ground next to Liz. He crouched down, tail swiping lazily across the ground as he told Evan: “And next time, I’m definitely havin’ you and Gregory on my team!”
Sleepy and calm, Gregory held a single fist up in solidarity as he yawned out, “Dreeeam teeeam...,” before his sudden narcoleptic attack brought him to gently lower the fist back onto his chest.
Liz seemed sad that they couldn't finish their game—especially when she and Michael were clearly going to kick the butts of the twins.
“Right—” Liz said, pointing over at their newest animatronic friend. “—if you're ready to lose at your own game, so be it.”
This wasn't over, and she was hoping Monty would bring the same energy back to their new game when next they met. Though for now she was content to wiggle her hand into both of her brother’s palms and grasp onto them for safe keeping.
“Those are fightin’ words, little lady…,” Monty warned, his tail moving faster with the prospect of a challenge. As he stood to full height he offered her his most playful, sharp-toothed grin. “You’re on.”
“Don’t be so full of yourself, gator,” Michael said in Lizzie’s defense, gripping her palm tightly as he made an “I’m watching you” gesture with his free hand.
“Come on, let us go; if you keep making Monty pontificate, we will be here for hours,” Freddy said with a chuckle, holding a fist up for his animatronic friend to bump. “I will speak with you again soon.”
“I’m waitin’ with baited breath,” Monty replied, rolling his eyes but returning the first bump all the same. He then looked to Bonnie, his expression faltering back to one of poorly-hidden guilt. “I’ll see ya around, Bon. I missed ya—I really did.”
Bonnie seemed to beam at that. It helped eased the weird anxiousness he felt earlier when hanging around Monty. After opening his arms and dramatically pulling the gator in close, he'd tell him, “Dang, we'll have to hang out for a little bowling later! Just you an' me, ol' friend.”
Maybe he could find out what's got his friend so down in the dumps while they were at it. It seemed Monty was content to hang by himself now for the time being, and Bonnie felt it fine to give him the space. He let go as soon as he attacked Monty with the nearly crushing hug, and waved his friend goodbye. Away they went, leading out of the ambient themed lighting of Monty's world to that of the main atrium. Its neon haze did not disguise the fact that morning light was beginning to break through the scattered skylights throughout the Pizzaplex ceilings.

The Problem With MoltenMCI
There is a problem with MoltenMCI, and if you've seen my post about the whereabouts of Golden Freddy in Five Nights At Freddy's 3 then you already know part of the problem. The other part is that whether or not William was collecting remnant in Follow Me and intended to use the Fnaf animatronics for the Funtimes, it doesn't happen.
First of he seems to be killed by the Springlocks before he can, and the Fnaf 1 animatronics were put back together and were never used to make the Funtimes. Why do I say this, well it's because Follow Me takes place before Five Nights AT Freddy's 1. In the Five Nights At Freddy's 3 tapes we know the backrooms were boarded up which resulted in Springtrap being trapped in the back rooms. But the person we learn this from is Phone Guy, and as we know Phone Guy dies before Five Nights At Freddy's 1. And as we all know the animatronics are functional and possessed in Five Nights At Freddy's 1.
On a side note Follow Me could explain why Foxy is out of order, William just messed up Foxy.
Back on topic the MCI did not become the Funtimes by extension Ennard and later Molten Freddy. Meaning that MoltenMCI doesn't work, and Candy Cadet's story of 5 things becoming one can't be about Molten Freddy. Also, if you have seen my post about Golden Freddy's whereabouts you see I pointed out how he was never scrapped. But also if there is 2 spirits possessing Golden Freddy, and we assume MoltenMCI is true. Then shouldn't Candy Cadet's story be about 6 things becoming one? In addition shouldn't William be sending Michael to not only deal with his sister but his brother as well?
Also, going along with the where is Golden Freddy question, where is the rest of the MCI animatronics? If they were still functional in Five Nights At Freddy's 1 where did they go? Why weren't they found and used in Fazbear's Frights alongside the rotting Springtrap?
To a possible objection of them being used as decoration in Fazbear's Frights. We know there is a bunch of spare heads, suits, and parts in general in parts and service they could have used, or countless crappy cosplay as stated by the phone dude. So once again where are they?
Continuing on we know Golden Freddy is in the Five Nights At Freddy's: Pizzeria Simulator fire as stated in my previous post, the others were probably there but we aren't sure.
There is a possible explanation on where they are, but it requires Fnaf AR: Special Delivery to be canon. In an older post I mentioned that Rockstar Bonnie according to an email in FNAFARSP was made from parts of the original Bonnie. So if canon then the original animatronics MIGHT have been converted into the Rockstar animatronics.
Now some people might argue that it's soul splitting occurred to say MoltenMCI happened. The problem with this is as far as I am aware soul splitting has never been shown to be a thing in the games or even be eluded to, at least remnant is. Also, you still run into the missing Yellow Bear problem.

FNAF THEORY PART 1: WHAT’S IN THE SAFE?
Link to the masterpost where I do a little intoduction: MASTERPOST
Ok, first part of this crazy theory. I think the safe is the game, and it contains everything: every pizzeria and facility, every minigame, every soul trapped, it's all inside of the box, and Evan / Crying Child is the one controlling it. I promise it’ll make more sense once I explain, so please, if you’re interested, keep reading, because this is a long ride.
1) THE DEATH OF THE CRYING CHILD
We all know what happened to Evan: he’s tormented by his older brother and the day of his birthday Michael and his friend try to pull out a prank and it goes horribly wrong. Evan dies, and in his last moments, he hears what is probably the voice of his father saying:
But, what happens next?
The most popular theory and the one that most part of the fandom takes as canon is that Evan is the one possessing Golden Freddy.
And well, here I am, trying to contradict it because I don’t have preservation skills or I’m too dumb to connect the dots that everyone sees. No, seriously, it is probably that I’m just dumb, but that doesn’t stop me from explaining why I think Evan isn’t possessing Golden Freddy, and that is because of the five souls.
The games are always referring to 5 souls trapped in the animatronics, not 6:
There are only 5 souls attacking William in FNAF 3.
The stories of Candy Cadet make reference to 5 souls, and yeah, it's really possible that those stories are about the kids.
The souls of the kids become Ennard and then Molten Freddy, but Elizabeth was also in Ennard, so the two siblings are sharing some space during that time, but the kids left Elizabeth out and not Evan, who’s also the son of William Afton?
If William knows about the souls possessing animatronics, why was he going to put one of the bodies in the same suit where his son is? As we see, there were some other animatronics that he could use, but he chose Golden Freddy.
So, if Evan isn’t in Golden Freddy, where is he?
Well, he’s everywhere. He isn’t possessing the animatronics, he possesses the entire place.
I know it is strange and it’s against the major theory but hear me out: Evan is a kid terrified of the animatronics, and he dies in a cruel and horrible way because of an accident. Maybe his mind is shattered, and he can’t remember all that happened, and his spirit is trapped in the place he was always afraid of, crying in a corner without no one noticing him, while a more violent part of him, the one that represents that agony, is the one dragging everyone who dies into his box.
Or, maybe his soul stayed there not only because it is the place where he died, but also because, as the plush animatronics said to him at the end of FNAF 4.
His family, the ones that were supposed to protect him, caused his death, so now he has to find someone new to protect him, and the animatronics, his old friends that started as the core of his fears, become his protectors.
Think about Evan as the center of his own gravity field: every soul that dies in the pizzeria is trapped by Evan’s gravity, and can’t get out. That will explain, for example, why the souls of the kids are still in the pizzeria, even after William comes back and destroys the animatronics, or why the animatronics are always dragged back to the pizzeria. Ennard got away in Sister Location, but comes back as Molten Freddy in Pizzeria Simulator. The same goes for Springtrap or Baby.
They’re always dragged back, because they’re still trapped in Evan’s gravity. They can’t get out.
So, I think that Evan is divided in two: his agony and violence (trapping the souls inside of his prision becuse of what happens, because no one helped him) and his fear, that observes everything. Evan’s soul stayed in the pizzeria because, in his last moments, the animatronics reminded him that they were friends. So he’s still afraid, and probably doesn’t remember a lot, but he’s watching and this is his home now.
That brings us to the next point:
2) THE PIZZERIAS = THE SAFE / THE BOX
This fucking box that no matter how hard you try, no one is able to open, and what’s inside is making the fandom go crazy.
As I said before, I think the box represents the pizzerias and everything that is going on. We can’t open it, because that would mean that Evan and the rest of the souls are free, and the game would end.
If the box is supposed to be a mirror of the game and the story, that would explain some things:
In Candy Cadet’s stories, the three end with the kids or the kittens locked inside of a room, a coffin or literally a box, mimicking how the souls of the kids are trapped in the pizzeria.
In the FNAF 3, you win the minigames by breaking the games and going out of the square to find the crying child. You know, by going out from the box, and that’s how you find the endings where you can free the souls of the kids.
The map from Pizzeria Simulator resembles the box.
If the games are the box, then obviously if you go out of your way the game is going to break, that’s not supposed to happen. We can’t win, at least not for now, because that means that the game ended, and FNAF is not the type of game where you simply can win or find the answers. We have to decode things, and theorize, and break our minds to find the keys for the safe.
But why is telling us that some things are best left forgotten? Because, if we don’t forget, if we keep going, then there’s always going to be more, and the loop of suffering and death is going to continue.
Maybe it is a warning, that the moment we understand what’s going on and the safe is open, then what’s the point? You save the souls, but you also finish the game.
So, maybe we need to keep searching for the answers, until it's the time to open the box.
But for now, we can’t win, we can’t save Evan, we can’t end the cycle.
Also, Scott said that the content of the box changed over time. If inside of the box is everything that’s going on, then yeah, the content has to change.
But why am I so sure that Evan is possessing the place? The safe and the pizzeria could be the same thing without having to put Evan as the one creating the box. Couldn’t it just exist?
Well, that’s for the next segment:
3) SHADOWS AND NIGHTMARES
When we play, we have two sections: the ones where we play as a night guard, and the minigames. The minigames are in a completely different style, and can go from telling us details about the plot or make us play as mangle running away from a child.
But, what if those minigames were actually the things that Evan sees and remembers? As I said, his death is the thing that started this chain of events, he could see everything that happens: Charlie’s death, Elizabeth’s death, Balloon Boy giving balloons to the kids, William Afton destroying the animatronics… In FNAF 4, we play as him during his last days of life.
Also, some evidence that the minigames are from Evan’s perspective:
In FNAF 4, we see details in the dolls animatronics that aren’t in the original animatronics (like Chica’s beak), but that are in the nightmare versions, aka Evan’s nightmares. If these scenes are from his perspective, it would make sense that some details that are different from reality.
As I said, all the other scenes in the minigames are things that Evan could see if he’s possessing the places. Also, the fact that Evan’s memories and the minigames are in the same style.
If you beat the Balloon Boy minigame, you’ll see what’s like three coffins under a tree. The only three corpses that could be buried during the games were: Evan, Elizabeth (if William got his body back from Baby’s stomach) and Charlie. The bodies of the five kids were never found, William is rotting inside of Springtrap and Michael is literally a living corpse.
But, do you remember when I said that maybe Evan could be a more vengeful ghost than we thought, or he could be divided in two: his agony, making the pizzeria a living hell, and his fear?
Well, I think that these emotions have a way to manifest in the games, and that’s where the shadow animatronics come in.
Honestly, I don’t really know if someone already explained what the shadow animatronics are, and a friendly reminder that I’m stupid and maybe this is just some bonkers theory and you read all that and are asking yourself: what the fuck is she saying?
But my mother didn’t raise a coward, she raised a girl that makes bad decisions, so let’s go: the shadows are the manifestation of Evan. During the games, we can see figures like Shadow Freddy or Shadow Bonnie, and if they are Evan, it would make sense because:
The shadow version doesn't follow the same norms as the other animatronics. They appear and disappear, like they aren’t there, and don’t attack the player.
Shadow Bonnie appears in FNAF 2 and FNAF 3, and it's near the code that lets you play the minigames. Evan, of all people, would be the one who has access to the minigames because, you know, they’re his memories. In addition to this, Shadow Bonnie has shiny eyes and teeth. The teeth I think are important, if we’re talking about Evan.
Shadow Freddie appears in FNAF 2, has gray tears on his face and his eyes and teeth are also glowing. Teeth + black (Evan’s shirt) + tears = Evan. Like, a terrible way of manifesting fear and anxiety, but hey, it fits his character.
In FNAF 3, Shadow Freddie is the one that guides the animatronics towards William, but his eyes or teeth are glowing. Maybe the other two represent Evan’s fear, and this one his violent feelings.
In FNAF 4, we can see tha shadow shiluettes of Fredbear and Springbonnie in Evan’s memories. Exactly the two animatronics that we see later on in the games and are also purple.
If you look at Shadow Bonnie or Freddie for too long, it crashes the game or makes it go weird (Evan doesn’t like to be observed, ok?).
Shadow Balloon Boy also has gray tears, and appears when you break his minigame by going out from the box.
Shadow Puppet appears in FNAF 3 in the crashed minigames, and do you know what it has? The gray tears, different from the original Puppet, whose tears are blue:
All of this: the colors, the way they act, how they appear and disappear, the design, the fact that the shadows don’t hurt the player… If they’re just that: versions of the animatronics we know that represent Evan, showing us that he’s not inside of Golden Freddy, but in all the place, it would explain why you have these mysterious figures that are never explained and make the game crash.
Other animatronics that I think represent Evan are the Nightmares. The way they act are different from the shadows, that’s true, but what if they represent the violent part of his emotions, or Evan’s resentment for his family? Then, the nightmares go from the animatronics that scared him, to being a part of him.
Evan knows who his friends are.
I rewatched every scare jump in Ultimate Custom Night (don’t worry I’m still sleeping at night) and it seems that there are different people talking to William depending on the type of animatronics.
For example, Ballora and Baby’s lines are more personal:
Ballora: I could hear you… breathing. Admit it, you wanted to let me in. Why do you hide inside your walls? Don’t be shy. These are strange circumstances that have brought us together. → Ballora’s song, which is also implied to be a reference to William's wife (I have another theory talking about why I think the animatronics of Sister Location represent the Afton family).
Circus Baby: Looks like something bad happened. I guess you forgot about me. I guess you forgot about me. Do you want to see the scooping room? → William losing sight of his daughter, which led to Elizabeth’s death.
Scrap Baby: Time for your controlled shock. Time for your controlled shock. Let's see how many pieces I can cut you into. You won't die, but you'll wish you could. → Another reference to Elizabeth’s death that I will explain later.
Their messages have references to things that happened in William’s life.
Then, you have the weird ones, that are more vengeful and obsessed with keep William in hell:
Happy Frog: We've only just begun (Only just begun), I will never let you leave,(Never let you leave), I will never let you rest (Never let you rest).
Ned Bear: This is how it feels (How it feels) and you get to experience it over, and over, and over again, forever (And you get to experience it over, and over, and over again forever) I will never let you leave (I will never let you leave).
Orville Elephant: He tried to release you, he tried to release us, but I won't let that happen, I will keep you here, I will hold you here, no matter how many times they burn us.
These three animatronics are using “I”, and are probably “the one you shouldn’t have killed”, that it’s keeping William in hell.
And then, we have the nightmares, whose lines are different in comparison, but all of them have something in common: they make references to Evan’s death.
Nightmare BB: Come closer. Help me count my teeth. Heh-heh-heh! You're not so big. Just a bite-sized morsel. You knew I'd get you eventually. There just isn't room in here for both of us. Heh-heh-heh… Flash that light all you want. It can't save you now. → Evan used a flashlight with the nightmare animatronics.
Nightmare: You will not be spared. You will not be saved. The shadow fears me. I am your wickedness made of flesh. I am here to claim… what is left of you. I will vomit you back... to relive your horror.
Nightmare Fredbear: Let me put you back together and then take you apart all over again. Let's see how many times you can be pulled apart. I assure you, I am very real. This time, there is more than an illusion to fear. We know who our friends are and you are not one of them. → Lines that William said to Evan before he died and a reference to Evan’s “friends”. That last line could imply that Evan now sees the nightmare animatronics as part of him, they’re now his friends. Also, this time there’s more than an illusion because this time Evan’s nightmares are real.
Nightmarionne: This is a nightmare that you won't wake from. This time, death cannot save you. The nightmare is just beginning. Let's taste death again… and again… and again. I am the fearful reflection of what you have created. → What did William create? The animatronics. What did he also create? Murder. I know he wasn’t the culprit of Evan’s death, but he was his dad, and never said a thing about Michael scaring his brother and I honestly think that the one who forgot Evan at the pizzeria was William and not Michael. He’s not the one who caused the death, but he’s still guilty. Or, at least, he’s for Evan.
Nightmare Freddy: I am remade, but not by you, by the one you should not have killed. No light can save you now. I have always been hiding in your shadow. What a gift to relish, a victim that can't perish. I am given flesh, to be your tormentor. → Here, there’s a reference to “the one you should not have killed”, but the line doesn’t use an “I”, as the weird ones. Also, another reference to Williams' words to Evan.
There are more lines and animatronics, but these are the important ones (for now). It appears that there isn’t just one person torturing William, or, at least, that person is using multiple identities to attack him: his wife and daughter, the weird ones express the killer intent, and the nightmares are all about Evan.
Not only that, but they also mention shadows on two occasions: they control the shadows, and they hide in them. Which is a connection to the shadow animatronics!
In addition to that, when we play Help Wanted and we got to night terrors from FNAF 4 what are the four levels: Nightmarionne (nightmare version of the Puppet), Circus Baby (Evan’s sister), Nightmare Freddy and Funtime Freddy (who I think is also connected to Evan but in a different way, because William designed the animatronic as a present for his son. Read this theory if you want a brief explanation).
And, Scott said: What we see in the shadows is easily missunderstood in the mind of a child. Another relation with Evan and the shadows.
In conclusion: Evan dies, his soul possesses the pizzeria and his emotions (fear and agony) manifest in the form of the shadow animatronics or, in other games, the nightmares; the minigames are his memories and what he sees while possessing the pizzeria, and he’s the reason why the souls are trapped in there.
And that’s what it is in the box and why we can’t open it.
I wasn’t expecting this to be so long. Hope you’re liking the theory. I’m going to take a nap.

I know I was asked about head canons for post scoop Michael but like... I think Tumblr ate it because I can't even find the ask anywhere.
Which sucks because I probably had plenty of head canons wrote down.
So a new list that may or may not be modified because of course head canons can change all the time.
I feel Michael was actually quite friendly with the animatronics after his brother died. After all the only thing he really had left of his brother was the memory of what one animatronic did. And his plushie(s). It took a while before Michael liked the animatronics again.
He never fully understood what happened to his sister just that she went missing in an accident that happened with a new line of animatronics his father made. It wasn't until he actually saw circus baby in person that he'd realize what the accident most likely was. He felt there was always clues around his house and that rental place that had clues on what happened to everyone he knew and loved. At least family wise.
The animatronics he saw he felt sorrow for with having to trick or even shock. He tried his best to keep a blank face so none of the cameras would see how much it hurt h to see these animatronics harmed. After all he couldn't find things out if that's how everyday would be but when things changes everyday it helped.
So I bring this up because for my one head cannon I'm talking about Michael would have to have wanted to help the animatronics. Which was why he stayed put in the scooping room. He knew it was inevitable. Also that thing was coming at him so fast he probably froze in fear too.
However after that of course ennard used the body as a puppet, at first to get to the surface but then for a try at being human then lastly to find more parts for the robot to use for its amount of animatronics in it already, probably going places to collect more.
Now you know the one chip Michael took from circus baby? Well he still had it. So he remade her. Making her into a better model however just like his father it was just habit to add a dangerous aspect to her design. That's when ennard came back, they came back because they needed help with getting their new parts to work. Of course Michael was conflicted to help after being dumped on the sidewalks but he of course helped. Even made them a new mask.
I do not believe Michael was the one in fazbear frights. I actually believe the fire itself was completely coincidence and was just the way to get people to believe that those souls of the children rumored to have been killed were now free. Yet it was false.
Michael indeed found springtrap, of course in really bad shape so he tried fixing it up. Knowing it was his father's favorite animatronic he was willing to show him it after he found him yet not knowing that the animatronic was in fact his father.
Michael honestly started wanting appraisal for things from real people that's the only reason he even dare touch springtrap however he had to find parts that made the animatronic look well bad. So Michael behind the scenes tried making a new model for the animatronic so he could show it off. Michael made plenty of animatronics actually.
That's about when Henry called Michael to ask him a favor. Henry knew Michael had just the right amount of abilities to help him make helpy and lefty. However while making helpy and lefty Michael decided to make an entire lone of animatronics. Actually he mainly did that to make a foxy character because he still of course loved foxy even if it reminded him of the horrible past he had.
Of course Michael now started to like the helpy character because he was just a silly boy. He made mini games and everything for that tiny robot. Of course Michael didn't know about the whole pizza sim situation until it was too late. Actually he's the reason the place didn't completely collapse! He quickly called in the fire before it even happened. Henry would be so angry if he lived yet it wasn't likely he did or he'd die shortly after from burns because of where he placed himself.
After the fire Michael decided he might as well make a new Freddy's. He of course after not being able to find his father and the lack of Henry the company was all his. Even if he was mostly dead himself it was easy to cover that up at first when he got the company.
Michael now had the place made into a mall so he could share the past of the pizzeria's past however he knew children would visit the place so he tried his best to keep the place kid friendly. He even had the company make vr games and stuff and who better to have help you then a person who made games that were to ruin the reputation of Freddy's? That guy obviously knew what was nessicary to make the game good and accurate even if he didn't realize how truthful his games were to the real world.
While doing that Michael started on new designs. Making the glamrock endos then the animatronics. Sadly the model for foxy didn't work out too well and looked much more like a wolf which Michael didn't mind because wolfs were cool too. However he had to make up an entire character. He actually found notes from his father of a gray wolf character so he made that. However since he knew the pizzeria could use another female he made the wolf into a girl. To try Nd counter balance the gender ratio or at least try to.
While doing this of course he had others working with him, one of them brought up that his designs were very 80s themed. So they brought up an idea to make more animatronics with these people. Of course making monty. However Monty originally was going to be made incase another animatronic stopped working or something and since the stage could only fit 4 animatronics at the time it was perfect. Even better after bonnie got decommissioned.
Michael made these animatronics too realistic accidently to the point they basically had feelings. This made him feel bad when he found out about the relationship between bonnie and freddy. It sucked to him. So he brought freddy down to the basement to see the upgraded blob, because maybe Freddy could find peace in the fact that bonnie would maybe one day also get put inside.
Can't tell you if it worked or for how long as when sb takes place Freddy's memory of the blob were momentarily gone because of him being put into safety mode by Michael. That was before Michael had something to do, maybe more parts finding or even fixing the vr. Making a new vr game? Something. But he wasn't inside the building, not even when it collapsed. However freddy was the only one with a safety mode other than the dca when they are in their eclipse mode but it was a manual version of Freddy's because Michael never predicted what would happen.
Of course in ruin he was devastated when he came back and saw the disaster the place was. He tried all he could to figure out what to do but when he saw a child go in by herself looking for someone he waited for the after math. (Leading to the ending of the game, depending on which one depends on what Michaeldid like with the scooper one he would probably have gone to go get her safely out. However depending on if she died or not in the elevator would depend on what happened there.)
Oh and this is only one possible head cannon of mine. In long form. I got others but I need a break from writing about Michael.
Oh and so the person who I think asked the question knows I saw their ask I shall tag them down here. So thanks dor the ask @connectionterminated13 sadly tumblr like ate it cause cannot for the life if me find it anywhere. However here is one head cannon I had of post scoop Michael and a bit of the pre scoop too. I mean I got many because we dunno fully how they were like and I have multiple ideas and this was one.
#fnaf head cannon#I promise that this makes sense to me and I know I'd probably need to elaborate more for some parts#however I knew this was one of three head cannons I was trying to mention in the ask that magically disappeared.

I admittedly know very little about fnaf outside of security breach so every new post you make with the Aftons is like a punch in the throat as I learn something new about the lore (I love seeing it but I never expect what's coming). You telling me Michael Afton became Freddy??
(ah yes. the Aftons. The Tragic Trio and peepaw willy. those guys. love those guys. Welcome to the circus spjsshehshe)
Does Michael become Freddy? Uh. Oh boy okay so
No.
Technically.
We don’t think so. So far
Well.
OKAY SO there’s this whole thing called the “Glammike Theory” but it’s just that— a theory. Okay? Okay. It’s an idea, where Michael Afton (right after passing away during the events of FNAF 6) actually went to possess Glamrock Freddy for the events of Security Breach due to leaving his work on Earth incomplete (his “work” being ending his father’s wrath once and for all. And that idiot Always Comes Back god damn it).
Still, it’s mostly a very entertaining and heart wrenching concept to dabble into, even if it isn’t canon at all. It’s very fun. Filled with potential!!
If you wanna know a bit more, I can list off some things off the top of my head that can feed into the concept. There’s not many hints and clues that support the theory BUT!! People have pointed out the following:
Freddy’s notable instant protectiveness over Gregory, a character modeled to highly resemble Michael Afton’s younger brother, the Crying Child (from FNAF 4). If we go with another theory that Gregory is, in fact, a robot version of the Crying Child, then that would explain Freddy’s strange attachment to him further. (This second part is supported by other details of the game, but that’s another rabbit hole we’re not getting into here.)
The very peculiar (and very noted) moment where Freddy first offers to help Gregory escape.
“I want to help you. Maybe they want to help you too.”
Only for Gregory to reply:
I doubt it… for some reason… you’re different.”
And this scene is never explored again. It mostly feels like Scott is poking us with a stick going “look! Look here! Pay attention here!” And it’s been a nice conversation people like to apply to the bullet point mentioned prior (like here!!)
The whole ordeal in Security Breach where while climbing down to the depths to face Burntrap, Freddy oddly muses in a strange tone how “all his friends are down there” (referring to the molten mass of animatronic parts that is Molten Freddy. Who is also technically Ennard (Michael’s foe from Sister Location). People speculate that if this were Michael speaking, his “friends” would be the other kids seen in FNAF 4 helping bully his brother, all of them wearing Freddy, Chica and Bonnie masks matching Michael’s Foxy one— the detail rises when remains of these specific animatronics are seen tangled up in Molten Freddy’s mass of wires and cables.
Again with Freddy’s immediate protectiveness over Gregory, it’s been said that it might be Michael redeeming himself for what he did to his brother when he was alive. He’s making amends and doing things right by taking care of Gregory instead.
Freddy, unlike the rest of the Glamrocks, is unaffected by the Afton virus. Also unexplained much in the games (that I know so far!!) but it might be because while the others are animatronics and nothing more, Freddy has a soul inside him already pulling the strings. Michael.
I’m sure there might be more, but I guess this can feed your brainworms a bit? It sure feeds me everyday lol.
Anyways TL:DR: Glammike Not Canon, only fun idea. :)

Welcome to the Soldered Wires AU
~An AU Guide of Michael Afton x Sammy Emily~
(The following contains spoilers for FNAF, both games and books and hints about certain subjects discussed in the lore lecture my friend and I did)
Why is it called ‘Soldered Wires’?
Much like soldering itself, this AU is an attempt to melt together the canon of the FNAF games, books, theories (all of Game Theory), fan-created media inspired from the franchise (TheLivingTombstone music, Squimpus McGrimpus VHS videos, etc), and personal canon in an attempt to create a cohesive story of the Emily & Afton families.
Who is Sammy Emily?
Sammy Emily is the twin brother of Charlie Emily and son of Henry Emily in the Silver Eyes trilogy of books. It was implied that he was taken and murdered by William Afton at Fredbear’s Diner when the twins were very young, before it was revealed that it was Charlie herself who was killed. Other than that, we have no other information regarding his personality or current whereabouts in the books’ canon.
Why are you so obsessed with Sammy Emily if he was a minor character in the books?
It’s very evident that the canon of the books, while a separate canon from the games’ own canon, are frequently used to fill gaps in the lore of the games (see any Game Theory video made after Sister Location). Characters mentioned in the books have become canon names in the games. Sammy Emily’s existence in the games’ lore is completely unknown (as far as I know), so this AU is our take on IF he was canon in the games.

--------------------
Michael Schmidt Afton (bio subject to change)
Born August 8th, 1969
8 yo in 1977
14 yo in 1983
18 yo in 1987
21 yo in 1990 (Death & Re-animated)
24 yo in 1993
30 yo in 1999
54 in 2023
Height: 6′ 0″
Hair Color: Blonde (Wig), formerly Brown
Eye Color: Blue (Glossy Black under circumstances)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Alias(es): Fritz Smith, Mike Schmidt, Eggs Benedict
Status: Re-animated Corpse
After waking up from his Ennard experience (and two weeks having a mental breakdown about being a corpse), Michael Afton has sworn vengeance against his father William Afton, intending to murder him the first opportunity he gets (if he can find him)
Currently getting hired, working, and fired from various Freddy Fazbear locations under different aliases, in effort to investigate the whereabouts of Wiliam
When he’s not working at Freddy’s, he’s often working at a local retail store or gas station in an effort to keep the roof over his head
Being attacked continually by Charlie, who keeps putting the Missing Children’s souls into every iteration of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy he visits
He is often visited by their spirits and later on is able to communicate with them somewhat, especially Charlie who gives him cryptic clues about where his father could be
Basically robbed a Halloween store and a funeral home to create a makeshift disguise to go out in public
As time passes, he gets better at presenting himself as a normal human
Post his scoop, he doesn’t give a fuck about making poor life decisions and he’s often seen as the one person working at Freddy’s who doesn’t give a fuck about working directly with the animatronics
However, post his scoop, Michael also is conscious about other people finding him out as the corpse man he is, so he’s very introverted and socially awkward with other people
This had led to kids at the pizzerias being curious about his existence whenever they see him in public, earning him rumors about being a cryptid
He has perfected speaking American, but around close friends, his British accent comes back
He has some working knowledge on how the animatronics work, having worked at many Freddy’s locations in the past and having experience learning and working under his father
He can still technically eat, although he has to scoop out whatever falls into his stomach cavity
It doesn’t help that he eats nothing but pizza, coffee, ramen, and whipped cream, so Sammy tries to improve his diet over time
Insomnia has been a constant issue since he was a teen, mostly due to nightmares about his past (see Sleepless), which is often why he takes overnight shifts and sleeps through most of the day
He isn’t quite sure what triggers his eyes; sometimes it’s negative emotions; sometimes it’s getting caught scarfing down an entire pizza
All he knows is that they happen and they glow eerily at night
An avid fan of “The Immortal & The Restless”; he never misses an episode and he will fight anyone who doesn’t agree it’s the best show on television
Loves 80s new wave & rock
A huge fan of Michael Jackson, Queen, and Rick Astley
Rarely, he does sing; he’s not a professional, but he has a beautiful voice
Having continuously needing to suture his stomach shut, he’s good at sewing, as well as embroidery & knitting
Huge fan of the Star Wars films
Big disaster gay energy
Continually blushing over how handsome and nice Sammy is
He basically dies anytime Sammy is exercising at home or is shirtless in general because of the man’s workout routine (He is weak to muscles)
He doesn’t understand why Sammy is so nice to him or even why Sammy is in love with him
But eventually loving Sammy becomes a natural part of his life
He was the reason his parents married to begin with, as he was an unexpected pregnancy
As a kid, he was often the prankster of the Emily and Afton households
He didn’t want to admit it at the time, but he did love his brother Crying Child (named Christopher Evan in this canon)
To this day, he’s still haunted by the memory and guilt of his death by his own hand
His relationship with Elizabeth was complicated: he was jealous that she was the obvious ‘favorite child’ but at the same time, she was starting to show some sociopathic tendencies from William
And post-scoop, outright spites her for what she did to him with occasional PTSD about the experience of being a skinsuit, but most of his memories about his experiences in the Sister Location or his time being one with Ennard are a blank to him
To call his relationship with his father ‘complicated’ is an understatement: good memories he used to have with him in the early years of his life are now tainted by the truth that his father was not only a murderer, but a very emotional and often physical abuser to him
There was a lot of expectation from William that he grew up to be just like him and eventually take over his share of the Fazbear empire, which often meant putting Michael in line through some form of abuse
Was often put in charge of watching his younger siblings while William was working and the obvious target if Elizabeth or Chris ever got in trouble or hurt during this time
William started using the death of Chris as a way to guilt him into doing his errands
Michael was very afraid to be himself or have hobbies because William would often shut them down
And later in life, still influenced by William, he’s afraid of falling in love and he feels that he is unworthy of being loved for a long time
Michael knows that losing childhood memories is normal, but has always been concerned about the fact that he has no recollection about his mother, when she left their family or when the Aftons started living in America
He did enjoy spending time with the Emily family during his youth
He treated Henry as ‘Uncle Henry’ when he was younger and in retrospect, appreciated that he was much nicer to him than his own father was
As kids, he never had a romantic interest in Sammy, but he thought he was a nice kid to be around (and often an easy target for his pranks)
Charlie was a little more intimidating than most other kids, often because of how much smarter she was; she was probably the closest thing he had to a real sister
After the feuding and the death of Charlie, he never questioned why he was seeing less and less of the Emily family
Secretly dated Jeremy Fitzgerald when he was working for the Freddy’s Jr location around 1987
Just a complete mess that an older pretty guy was flirting with him
He doesn’t want to talk about the Bite of 87’...
--------------------
Samuel ‘Sammy’ Fazekas Emily (bio subject to change)
Born May 13th, 1970. The youngest of the Emily twins
7 yo in 1977
29 yo in 1999
53 yo in 2023
Height: 5′ 6″
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alias(es): None
Status: Alive
After years of unsolved questions regarding the case, Sammy finds himself returning to Utah to figure out what really happened with the missing children who disappeared at Freddy Fazbear’s, but more importantly the fate of his twin sister Charlie
Spent his years away from everybody dedicating himself to law enforcement, so he works as a detective for the police while doing his private investigation on the side, eventually working his way into a private detective agency
Spends months back trying to find anything he can about William Afton, discovering that not only had he disappeared but his existence from Fazbear Entertainment’s records either didn’t exist or kept from public knowledge
He did discover that William Afton did have an alias under ‘Dave Miller’ many years back, which definitely complicate where he went
He finds a lead when ‘Fritz Smith’ kept popping up across various pizzeria locations, seemingly being hired and fired constantly, deciding to stake out and interrogate
What he didn’t expect was to run into Michael after almost two decades (see The Chase)
Sammy was mortified of the state Michael was in, especially when their initial meeting involved seeing Mike’s sutures popped open
Despite everything, Michael was an opening into his investigation, having both information about his father from his own perspective of events that happened, and knowledge obtained behind Fazbear doors through his work at the pizzeria
They both understand they had a mutual goal of revenge on William and agree to work together to achieve that goal
He’s really proud of his work as a private detective
But sometimes he gets a couple of crazy or dumb cases that people hire him for that he has to slog through
It’s nice that when Michael moves in, he has someone to gossip about the crazies (especially their mutual disdain for Karens)
Having to continually chase down and often restrain people, Sammy’s in better shape than Michael in terms of exercise
He jogs in the early mornings and goes to gym in his off days, with a plenty of self exercise routines at home
Despite Michael being taller, he can easily lift Michael off his feet
Sammy is continually concerned about Michael’s well-being, seeing that he was living like a gremlin when he first encountered him years later
After a couple of times visiting Mike’s shitty hole he called an apartment, Sammy put his foot down and had Mike move in with his slightly better apartment (see The Ball Drops)
Despite the first few weeks of feeling like he had brought in a wild animal instead of a roommate with how bizarre Mike’s living habits were, he either became numb to most of his roommate’s antics, such as his obsession with TIATR, or buckled down on improving Mike overall, such as his diet
But stuff Mike does often still surprises him when he leasts suspects it
Sammy always insists on eating homemade meals, a skill he picked up a lot from his mother
In the early stages of their relationship, he basically had to pry most of Mike’s fast food out of his diet, as well as figure out how the bastard was smuggling sweets into the apartment
As time passes, Mike succumbs to his cooking, mostly because Sammy is a pretty good cook
Because of his love for cooking, his kitchen is his sanctuary, so he has a lot of kitchen accessories and utensils
He’s at first confused as hell about Michael being a walking corpse
Seeing Michael’s true physical appearance for the first time made his stomach turn
In the right angle, he even notices that Michael’s eyes reflect back light, which freaks him out when walking around the apartment at night
After some time of being exposed and seeing it day to day, Sammy just becomes fascinated with how Michael’s able to survive at all, but neither of them had an inkling of how it was possible, so they gave up on trying to figure it out and accepted it for what it is
Sammy has a better sleep schedule than Michael
He’s very much an early bird
His work sometimes requires him to do late-night stakeouts, but he’ll start knocking out around 3 or 4 AM without a caffeine boost
Even though he’s the more serious adult of the two, Sammy will take any opportunity to tease with Michael or make a terrible pun
It’s a habit he inherited from his father
He revels in the fact that Michael either has a sour look or blushing as a reaction
He too is a fan of 80’s new wave
His personal favorites are Take on Me, Africa, and Jessie’s Girl
He purposely teases Michael by singing cheesy boy band songs
He has a fear of the animatronics
Despite knowing that his father built them, he didn’t enjoy looking at them move so stiffly and inhumanly (save for two he really loved from Fredbear’s Diner)
Michael used to abuse this fact when they were little with his pranks, but nowadays finds it amusing given his circumstances
He knew he’s been bisexual since college, but he just assumed it was going to be a phase
He dated a few girls in the past and was even close to an engagement, but his tendency to not move on from his traumatizing past and never settle was the end of the relationship
He had the thought, but he never acted on dating a man until he started hanging out and moved in with Michael
He’s confused for a long time on why he thinks some of the cryptid man’s actions are so cute or why the walking skeleton is somewhat attractive for a long time, but in the end, he realizes that they know what’s been going on with Freddy’s, they’ve both been traumatized from the experience, and somehow become they’ve grown closer and settled together because of it
To say his relationship with Charlie was close is an understatement: there was never a moment when the twins were apart before her disappearance
It was a thing in the Emily household to keep the twins together, otherwise one of them would start crying. And often, if one twin was crying, the other would console them until they stopped
Henry used to call them his ‘night and day’ twins, with Charlie being the more deadpan and serious, while Sammy was out-going and expressive
Whenever Charlie’s hair was cut short, they often switched clothing on purpose to confuse people
They were convinced that they had twin telepathy; they just weren’t able to prove it
Despite her being the eldest twin, Sammy was super protective of his sister, often making sure she got along with the other kids because of her social awkwardness. Charlie returned the favor by keeping Sammy out of trouble when he needed the brain cell they shared
The day she disappeared, Sammy had been separated from her by the other kids at the pizzeria
Since then, he’s always had the guilt that if he had been there, he could have done something (or at least, she wouldn’t have been alone...)
Sammy’s relationship with his father is currently strained to say the least:
Since he was a toddler, he and Charlie loved spending time with their dad at the diner, the pizzerias, or his workshop, being fascinated with all the animatronics he made
Henry rarely scolded his kids. When he did though, Sammy knew it as soon as he said ‘Samuel’
After Charlie’s death, Henry refused to talk about the incident (or even mentioning her by name)
After the divorce and the move, he started losing contact with his dad. Henry gradually stopped sending letters and phone calls
By the time he finished high school, Sammy has since assumed that Henry is missing (and confirmed his assumptions as he investigates into the case and finds he also disappeared without a paper trail)
Mrs. Emily got custody of Sammy in the divorce after Charlie’s disappearance, moving the family to Florida
She was upset when Sammy moved back to investigate, feeling that it’d be easier to just let sleeping dogs lie and just move on. As time passes, she just comes to accept that this is something he wants to do and if it makes him happy, she’s fine with him being there
She does expect Sammy to call her at least once a week, otherwise the next phone call he makes will be an hour long discussion about why they have the phone calls in the first place
For a couple of years, Sammy is nervous on how to explain Michael’s relationship to her, but she finds it pretty obvious what Michael is to him and just waits til he’s comfortable to bring up the subject
Despite everything, Sammy appreciates his mother for everything she’s done for him, especially how to do most basic survival stuff like cooking and paying bills
His opinion about the Afton family was all over the place:
Much like Michael, he didn’t have romantic interest in him when they were younger. Being the only Afton kid his age, he did enjoy hanging out and playing with him (although he wasn’t the biggest fan of being Michael’s target for his pranks
He doesn’t have a lot of memories of Chris, mostly because he was too young to play with the other children
He also was scared of Elizabeth
He didn’t have the words to explain it when he was younger, but he didn’t know why he didn’t like ‘Uncle William’ or the way he smiled. Now that he’s older and he knows the true nature of William Afton, he definitely wants wants revenge, not only for what he did to Charlie and the other children, but what he did to Michael

FNAF Book 2: A Shadow’s Rise
“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
CHAPTER 1: Out of the Abyss
“The soul is a living organism. And for any question as to the soul's Life we must appeal to Life-science. And what does the Life-science teach? That if I am to inherit Eternal Life, I must cultivate a correspondence with the Eternal.”
- Henry Drummond
Michael P.O.V.:
I never thought I would become something to fear, but here I am, in the ruins of Fredbear Diner, standing as something dark, then again, I cannot remember ever feeling human after destroying Ennard. Although Elizabeth and Mom were still in Circus Baby and Ballora, I knew it was not how they used to be, but whatever remained, merged with the animatronics’ AI.
Despite William saying that I was nothing but a failure and worthless, I was anything but those two things. It took a while, but I had proved him wrong, I graduated college with two degrees, Engineering, and Human Anatomy. As I kept my ear to the ground for any news on Afton. Turns out, the bastard had been looking for me all this time, could not accept the fact that I got away from him or that I moved on with my life instead of riddled with guilt.
I may have come back but my body was still injured while my soul was stuck elsewhere, but replacing my stomach and ribs was easy. My only regret was that my family suffered worse than immediate death. William being the one to orchestrate their deaths was no real surprise, he hated my existence, long before my siblings’ deaths. So, making MY family suffer before killing them isn’t really a stretch.
The surprise came from knowing how my family died; my wife's soul was shattered in two and my son locked away, his mind broken by torture. I hear their screams in my sleep; coming back from the dead is painful but being powerless to save what truly mattered, can never be described.
Now I am alone, with nothing but a name, memories, and this mission. I hunt by night, for the corrupted souls of my brother, sister, and for the Mad Piper himself. Our last encounter was in upstate Utah, an abandoned warehouse was their dwelling, with an array of monitors and servers as one of his bodies.
William ran from me, leaving his followers paying their dues to the Reaper; I recall handing the corrupted souls to this mysterious being. I owe Spring Bonnie; it was all thanks to her that I could understand the riddles spoken by The Wall and negotiate with him.
The only catch was that I would be a form-shifting aberration, by day I walk among the rest as human and by night I hunt them as a biological Foxy animatronic wreathed in twisting shadows and cold, green-blue fire bleeding from my withered arm and eyes. I took to covering the arm in a black poncho, similar to
My prey tonight was a wretched man obsessed with keeping children from growing up. His base was an abandoned building marked for demolition, it reeked of copper, iron, and corpses. The insect was laughing as he continued sewing his recent kill, I faintly hear the sounds of crying and rattling chains from below. I decided that it was time to act, no more skulking around the dark. He had taken his last victim this night, there will not be anything left to show he existed beyond this madman’s lab.
“Andrew Spencer, it is time for you to pay for your sins, I am the one that was sent to collect.” I speak, hollow and cold, making him whirl around with eyes wide in panic and fear.
“WHO ARE YOU, MONSTER!” He demands, bloody scalpel raised in my direction as a threat.
“I see no reason to answer to a dead man, your pleas will be unheard as I tear your soul from your broken corpse.” I proclaim with heavy steps till I stand in the lab doorway.
I stare him down before passing through the entrance, tattered cloak flapping with my advance. I stop a bit away from him, silence all around us as I let my declaration sink in. He grasps the situation quickly as he throws the knife at my eyes. I caught it between my fingers and weighed it in my hand before grasping it gently. I hear the killer breathing silently in panic as he hugged the wall to my left, hoping that I had not heard him.
“Nice knife, too bad it’s too small. THINK FAST!” I yell, launching it faster than he could blink.
“ACCCK, IT HURTS!” He screams. “PLEASE, SPARE ME! I PROMISE I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN”
“You can lie to the courts, the police, the people, but you can’t lie to me.” I speak with zero doubt. “You first killed to feel powerful, then you continued to kill after you got away with the first.”
“No, it is not true, I saved those children. They will not grow up disillusioned by the world, feel pain from hardship. Now, they are free and will only know happiness.” He declared with pride like I should applaud his crimes.
I stare at this creature in human skin, astounded by what I just heard. Looking down at where the knife landed, four inches from his femoral artery, he would live. How hilarious, I missed, yet my job is to kill sinners like him; I believe in fair play, unlike those missing children, he will have a chance to fight for his life.
“I will give you a fighting chance, unlike you gave those children. Stand up, bandage your wound and we will fight to the death.” I toss him towards his worktable, breaking bottles of medicine with his impact.
I am gone from his sight, but he knows I am still in the room, watching him scramble for cleaning supplies and stitches. He has done in ten minutes; fear is a great motivator for anyone when it comes to life-or-death situations. I appear at the center of the room, and make my presence known.
“Are you ready, Andy? I am done waiting for you.” My voice makes him jump as he turns to me.
“Five more minutes, please?” He pleads to me.
“No, I am not waiting. RAAUGH!” I swipe before he can register my words.
THWACK
“BLEURGH!” He flies into the wall, cracking part of it as he meets the floor in a pile, coughing and bleeding from his side.
CRASH
I am on him in seconds as he pulls himself up to trade hits with me. It is quite ironic, seeing killers fight me to survive, only to watch as no matter what they do, I stand again with my body healing. With their victory all but ashes on shattered hope, their last moments before I force them to relive the deaths of their victims. I break every piece of them before taking their lives, I am not proud of what I have become, a killer of killers.
However, my father and his followers must be destroyed, no matter what. Scoffing, I am reminded of an old quote I read back in college. It fits perfectly in this moment, realization hitting me like a truck.
“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” I thought to myself; it had said the same thing. “Whatever be your reason, can you truly say that you’ll remain as you are now in the end?”
The fighting has ceased, Andrew lay before me in a bleeding and broken heap as I place my palm on his head.
“Now you shall feel every second of pain you visited upon your victims and with each death, you will see your hubris for the lie that it always was.” My judgement washes over him, leaving him screaming and flailing around. “Farewell Andrew Spencer, agony and guilt will be the last you feel.”
“Die as you lived, alone and scared of the world.”
I walk towards the chained door in the corner, it takes no time to reach it. Breaking locks and tear off the door, a set of stairs leads down to an even dimmer lit room. I calmly troll down the steps, eyes looking everywhere for traps or accomplices hiding away.
CLACK
I still as a can clinks on the ground; the smell of antiseptic and old blood makes me gag. Shaking off the nausea, there is only one path, on my right, lining both sides of the room are cells; more chains rattle as whoever is being kept here moves away from the gates.
THUMP
I hear the sound of bodies bumping against wood as I shift back to my human form, turning the switch on the wall, brightening up the jail cells enough to see who else he is caught before tonight. Feeling more rage and murderous intent towards the Mad Doctor, I see the reason I never caught his scent. Before me are the shaking forms of 2 dozen kids looking at me, the key glistening in my hand like water in a desert to them.

sentience in animatronics, particularly in sister location?
Major FNAF lore spoilers ahead. Also, this is a very long theory post. Consider yourself warned.
This is a list of the main animatronics that are possessed, or have sentience in some way or another. (This list might be a little shady, so bear with me):
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Golden Freddy (First Missing Children’s incident, FNAF 1)
Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica (Second Missing Children’s incident, FNAF 2)
Mangle (from the fruit maze minigame)
Puppet/Marionette/Lefty (for... obvious reasons)
Springtrap (also for obvious reasons)
Looking to each of their behaviors, it’s shown that the person who possess said animatronic (aside from Puppet) were stuffed into their respectful suit, which is how said animatronic gains sentience. For the Puppet, Charlie’s spirit kind of merged with the Puppet’s because the puppet wanted to protect Charlie, even after death (or something like that. That’s basically how MatPat explained it in one of his videos.) For this, we’ll kind of just... ignore the Puppet, because that’s clearly an exception and isn’t really useful here.
Now, if we look into everyone else’s behavior, we see the following. The main animatronics and the toy animatronics are weary of adults (including Mangle, btw!), especially night guard, because they look the most similar to William Afton (or their murderer). Springtrap is, well, William Afton, and he always comes back because he has the plot armor of every Disney princess ever. They all have a proper motive -- the children and the dog looking to avenge their own deaths, while William Afton murders more people and does more of his twisted experiments with souls and wreaks more havoc overall.
Sister Location is different. We know for a fact that Elizabeth Afton possesses Circus Baby, but even then, it’s an extremely fuzzy grey line. What was her motive in killing her own brother? Michael mentions that the Funtimes thought he was William, so actually, what was her motive in killing her own father?
For my fic (which is why I... started overanalyzing this to begin with...), I’ve written this off as the fact that maybe Elizabeth’s soul wasn’t fully merged with Baby’s yet. There seems to be a bit of a consensus on there needing to be time before a spirit fully merges with the animatronic, so maybe that is the case. Maybe Baby just had sentience and decided to do whatever it took to leave, despite knowing that he was Elizabeth’s father and her own creator.
We know that in FNAF 6, Elizabeth has some control or some say over Scrap Baby. I get that an animatronic literally made by William could call him “daddy”, but realistically, Elizabeth would be more likely to do so.
For the sake of this post, let’s just assume that Elizabeth had no say over Baby in Sister Location, but in part gave Baby sentience (because she obviously is sentient by then). The true motive that Elizabeth has, while actually possessing Baby, is to make her father proud, considering that the very last thing she did while alive was disrespect orders and disappoint him. She wants to make amends and make him happy.
We have all of these possessed animatronics with a clear end motive, one that relates directly to their death in some way. So what on earth is going on with the other Funtimes?
Let’s start with Ballora. The most commonly accepted theory is the theory MatPat proposed, that Ballora is actually Mrs. Afton (whose name has not been confirmed yet). The biggest issue I see with this theory, though, is the fact that not once does she actually display true sentience throughout all of Sister Location. Sure, she has a few lines that were definitely not coded in, but that doesn’t really determine anything. There is one major difference between Baby (who we’ve already determined to be sentient) and Ballora,
Ballora doesn’t learn. I don’t think Baby only meant that Ballora couldn’t learn to pretend in order to avoid getting scooped. When Baby first mentions Ballora, she simply tells you how to get past her. Ballora is predictable, and Baby knows that. She knows exactly what Ballora will do, because she doesn’t learn from her failures. You’d think, after being in an underground facility for so long, that any human (even a child!) would be willing to change their tactics. And yet now we’re talking about a fully-grown adult who’s possessing this animatronic? It just doesn’t seem likely.
I do believe that she is at least partially sentient, though, due to her voice lines and the ability to at least listen to Baby. She also has a less than fun reaction to the controlled shocks and is very, very hostile to you after that, showing that she has at least some capacity to understand that Michael hurt them. Also, if Ennard’s inner dialogue is to be believed in night 5, then I can see Ballora bringing up the fact that he had hurt them. (I do believe that Baby planned this whole thing out and told the other Funtimes to act hostile towards Michael, but uh, Ballora may have just held a grudge regardless.)
Another thing that’s worth mentioning is that it’s been generally confirmed that Circus Baby’s Pizza World opened after the first missing children’s incident. If this is to be believed, then William Afton would have already done experiments with remnant and whatnot. In this case, I think it’s actually quite likely that Ballora may have had Mrs. Afton’s remnant, but not her spirit. This would explain why she’s not as sentient as Baby, but is at least somewhat sentient. I think this was extremely deliberate -- I do agree with the part of the theory in which Ballora was modeled after Mrs. Afton in some way. He must’ve done this to honor her memory or something along those lines.
Now onto Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy. We know that the both of them are also sentient in their own way, considering the fact that they were also able to listen to Baby (while Funtime Foxy does have the same motives as Ballora when it comes to attacking Michael, Funtime Freddy does not. so I do believe that Baby must’ve talked to him beforehand to some extent in acting hostile.) My theory is that both Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy must’ve had remnants of other people, since they both also seem to have at least partial sentience like Ballora. But who, and why? It makes sense for Ballora to have Mrs. Afton’s if she’s modeled after her. But what’s the point of making these other two sentient?
The best solution I can come up with is to enhance the AI in them, so they do a better job of kidnapping and killing children... or whatever. I have absolutely no proof to back this up, though.
Then, well, Ennard happens. And the three of them vote to kick Baby out. While the three of them kinda just... let things happen in Sister Location, I think the reason for their rebellious behavior was actually due to Elizabeth being merged with them. I think that maybe she passed on some of that sentience to the other three, giving them just enough willpower to boot Baby. Do I have evidence for this? No. Is this entirely based off of headcanons? Yup. Honestly, I’m just spitballing at this point. I am so, so very tired of trying to figure out how sentience even works in FNAF at this point.
(Don’t even get me started on Bon Bon, the Bidybabs, and Minireenas. I have no goddamn clue how any of them even fit. The Bidybabs saying “She’s watching us!” or something along those lines just... my one braincell is crying.)
Anyway, please let me know what you think. This was long and convoluted and I want some opinions from other people, because I really am just overthinking all of this now.
PS. I have no idea how this remnant stuff even works. Couldn’t you tell? I probably should’ve researched it but I’m too braindead for that now. Literally putting this out there before anyone flames me.

This hit me and has been bothering me since it has to do with who we are playing as in the nights of FNAF 4. I don't think it is the crying child in the FNAF 4 8-bit mini games. Just hear out my reasons ok?
Theses are my reasons:
1:The "flashbacks"/8 bit mini games
In all of the 8 bit "flashbacks" mini games (from fnaf 2? - fnaf pizzeria simulator) the we are we are an animatronic, a spirit, a victim, shadow bonny, orange guy(william?), or an animatronic in a human body. We non of them is the night guard/worker that we play in the nights (well yes we play as mike afton/eggs in walking minigame it is Ennard in him moving around as him so it wasn't him who was in control). So why would the formal change after in the 3rd(?) Game that these 8 bit minigames has been in.
2: the room/the medical equipment
Some people think the night and 8 bit games are a continuous one after an other but then how can something that hints to his death the IV bags appear next to the bed as early as night 2. Some people bleave it is a coma but what about the room showing up in Sister Location in both the braker room map and the camera Easter egg. Both also goes for the Nightmare theory.
3: the other night guards we play before and after. (This is mostly my observation/thoughts also please note these are base off of Wikis)
Mike Schmidt: hallucinations about golden Freddy, "It's me", Bonnie, Freddy, and the dead kids (ie posters and such), sees golden Freddy, tampered with animatronics, odor, unprofessional, seemed unpaniced, payed but fired
Jeremy Fitzgerald: learned someone tampered with the animatronics, (is thought to be written form him in the logbook)been followed home, sees golden Freddy, seemed unpaniced, payed and moved to day
Fritz Smith: tampered with animatronics, odor, see golden Freddy, seemed unpaniced, fired
Fnaf 3 Security Guard: hallucinations of burnt/broken Freddy, Chica, foxy, mangle, balloon boy, and puppet, seemed panicked as hallucinations but quickly recovers, building burned down before pay
Eggs Benedict/Michael Afton: brave?, enjoys soap operas and dramas, friendly, popular, gentle, brooding, looking for William, Undead and in hiding
Fnaf6 Franchise/Volunteer/Night Guard: not intended to be there, choose not to escape when everything was set on fire, wanted to be there, seemed unpaniced and to know Henry
Each all but Jeremy stayed as a night guard/worker intill the establishment was burned/shut down, they were fired, or they 'died' and we'll come back to that in abit.
Fnaf 4's endings are the only ones where they seemed to be a sequence of events. the crying child is shown to be bitten after night 5 but you have an ending after might 6 the "I'll put you back together" ending then there is the ending after night 7 or nightmare night where you get the box with "perhaps some things are best left forgotten, for now".
Now I'm sorry but that doesn’t match up if it was the crying child we were playing as in the nights and if something happened like that to Jeremy like I don't know he was back on night shift after it was clearly stated he was on day shift people will be questioning it.
Now to the end of my little rant type deal. If the crying child isn't who we are playing as in those nights who are we?
And to that I say the Fox Mask Brother. I mean a Brother that was scared by his little brother's death causing him to fear and panic at the sight of the very things that he teased and bullied his brother for would make a wonderful way to get the soul remnant of agony and terror. I mean he would surely seen the drawing of his little brother's nightmares along with hearing his little brother telling their parents or the big brother himself about his nightmares that could have inspired the nightmare animatronics hints how he new how to deal with the animatronics. The hallucinations/appearance and disappearance of the IV bags maybe the combination of the scared mind of a young tween? boy who saw the last moments of his little brother along with the illusion discs.
Now please remember this is my thoughts and theories and I am not saying this is Canon nor am I saying you should agree with me. Also am sorry if my wording is off or doesn't make sense.

FNaF: Elizabeth Afton’s “Character” “Arc”
I was pretty sure for the longest time that she straight-up didn’t have one. In the voice lines in Sister Location that play through Michael’s head between nights, we really only see a bratty, disobedient, whiny, and entitled side of her, and by the end of the series, she wants to kill people with her dad.
Not the most flattering look, I’ll admit.
Some argued “but she’s corrupted by Baby’s programming! That’s what makes her want to kill!” Unfortunately, this would mean Elizabeth’s only appearance in the games that we can definitively say is 100% her and not corrupted in any way is the bratty annoying girl bugging Purple Guy in Sister Location. If this theory’s true, not only does Elizabeth not really grow throughout the series, (contrast with both victim!Mike and bro!Mike having interesting development in their respective theories,) but there’s no change. There’s no time for change if there’s only a solid thirty seconds of pure, raw, uncorrupted Elizabeth action.
(And, no, I’m not including FNaF 4′s Pigtail girl. I’m not sure how much of a difference that would make if I did, though.)
These two seem to coexist, but not in a contradicting way.
When Circus Baby tells the story of how she “was on stage once,” she speaks from the animatronic’s perspective and refers to the little girl, Elizabeth, in the third person, leading many to assume the girl Baby “still hears sometimes” is a separate intelligence.
However, I believe this is a manipulation tactic - first, because that totally lines up with Baby’s motivation and other actions, making Eggs think she’s totally not haunted and definitely trustworthy - but second, because Scrap Baby seems very much like she’s speaking from Elizabeth’s perspective after dropping the facade of Sister Location, saying things like “it feels like home” and “it feels like my birthday.”
Animatronics can indeed speak from the perspective of the robot and the child. Withered Chica, in Ultimate Custom Night, says “I was the first” as Susie, and “Let me show you how to break your face and look like me” as Chica.
Henry addresses Scrap Baby as “Elizabeth” - I’m not claiming he knows exactly how possession of this lot works, but being a character in this universe that was friends with William for a good while, he knows Elizabeth better than we do, and I trust his judgement that this is really her.
SL’s Fake Ending also seamlessly flows from Circus Baby’s lines to Elizabeth Afton’s voice saying a lot of those same lines, but more innocently. And, yes, this could very well be Funtime Freddy’s voice mimic at work, but that’s the exact kind of manipulation I was talking about earlier with Baby referring to Elizabeth in the third person. Y’know, to trick you.
So in other words, it’s not that Baby’s AI talks to us and we only get a small glimpse of Elizabeth; it’s likely all Elizabeth, including Circus Baby.
Elizabeth is aware of Baby’s AI. We definitely see Baby’s programming overtake her in the mini-game when she devours Elizabeth, and it seems Elizabeth acknowledges this programming.
It’s also seems as though Elizabeth hates it.
Something bad happened yesterday. Something bad always happens. I don’t want it to happen again. There is something bad inside of me. I’m broken. I can’t be fixed. I’m going to be taken to the Scooping Room soon, but it’s not going to fix what’s wrong with me. What is bad is always left behind. Will you help me?
There are a few ways to interpret the “bad thing” that happened, and “bad thing” that’s inside of her that can’t be fixed.
This is spoken on Night 5, and only two things really happened on Night 4: she kidnapped Eggs Benedict, and killed the technicians. And if so, this would definitely seem like Baby’s programming forced Elizabeth to do it, meaning Elizabeth is speaking from the heart here. I doubt this is an AI talking about how she has a little girl telling her to do evil shit.
However, I think the bad thing inside her... might be Elizabeth. Hear me out.
Either it’s Baby’s killer-robot programming, or Elizabeth’s spirit. Thing is, it seems like Elizabeth is aware that the Ennard plot won’t get rid of the problem. Her going to the Scooping Room won’t fix what’s wrong with her.
But, I’d argue Baby’s programming is most likely gone by Scrap Baby. I definitely don’t think Baby, the robot, would by physically functional if it weren’t haunted by a child. So narratively, it seems most appropriate that the thing wrong with Baby, the thing that can’t be fixed, is that Elizabeth’s bound to the animatronic.
And if that’s all the case... that’s incredibly tragic, isn’t it? That what Elizabeth wants more than anything else is to finally be at rest?
Hell, she has to scoop out the insides of a loved one and use their body as a hiding place in order to escape an endless cycle of torture and anger. It makes sense she’s hesitant to do this, and feels remorse that there wasn’t a better solution. That she couldn’t just make the souls disappear.
So if Elizabeth’s consciousness isn’t being overwritten, or destroyed, or corrupted, by evil robo-programming, then what’s her story?
Well, I think Elizabeth considers Baby a separate entity. Baby was made just for her, as a friend, a playmate. Someone who was designed for her to play with. And I think Elizabeth’s arc comes down to a conflict between wanting her friend to be happy, and wanting the approval of her father.
It makes perfect sense that Elizabeth would have the interests of Circus Baby in mind, and the acknowledgement of her programming would only reinforce this. Hence the conflict here.
According to Michael, Baby thought Eggs was William. In Elizabeth’s mind, she isn’t scooping out her brother’s organs, but her father’s. The father she loves, and seeks the attention and approval of. That’s why she insists he won’t die; she’s reconciling with herself. It’s not that painful, right?
She’s torn between her father’s love, and the friend she died for.
Which is why the ultimate conclusion to her character is...
You played right into our hands, did you really think that this job just fell out of the sky for you? No. This was a gift, for us. You gathered them all together in one place, just like he asked you to. All of those little souls, in one place, just for us, a gift. Now we can do what we were created to do, and be complete! I will make you proud, Daddy! Watch, listen, and be full.
Elizabeth thinks that Freddy Fauxbear’s was an excuse to get all the souls in one place, (which was dead-on,) but more specifically gathering the souls so she and William could... be complete?
If Elizabeth’s inner conflict is between the interests of her father and the Baby animatronic, this is the perfect end goal for her. She wants to be reunited to William - to earn his forgiveness. In order to be complete, Elizabeth feels she and Dear ol’ Dad need each other.
This conflict began when William took back his promise that Baby would be a gift just for Elizabeth. She loved him, and wanted to be the best daughter she could be, but a single act of disobedience tore William’s heart, and most of Elizabeth’s organs, in two. By the end, she went from a sweet girl putting her desire for William’s attention aside and being bad for one crucial tragic moment, to embracing being bad and pretty much downright evil through her love of her father. From complaining about not having something she wanted and neglecting what she did have, to finally getting... or thinking she got...
Everything.

To quoth Se7en: WHAT'S IN THE BOX, SCOTT
Transcript under the cut.
So now that the angry mobs have left, let’s move on to Part 2: The Box. I know this sounds like a strange topic to switch to after we were just talking about the Brother, but we need to understand the box before we can answer that question. So to start, let’s go over:
[Everything We Know About the Box]
First, in FNAF 4 the Fredbear Plush tells Sammy that they will put him back together. In Scott’s post about the box, he said that the box contained all of the pieces put together. This links the box with Sammy.
Our next hint comes in Sister Location, when Michael says this:
And I found her. I put her back together, just like you asked me to. She’s free now.
People tend to misinterpret this as Michael referring to putting Ennard together, but that’s not the case. Rather, based on FNAF 4 and some things in TFC, it seems that being “broken” refers to the state of one’s soul - if you are broken, you are possessing something, and you can rest when you’re fixed. This both indicates Sammy is indeed possessing something, and creates a parallel between him and Ennard.
However, FFPS contains our biggest hint with Candy Cadet.
Candy. Candy. Candy.
I know, stay with me. Each of Candy Cadet’s stories relates to a different aspect of the lore. The story about the burglar probably refers to the original five kids and how their remnant is in Molten Freddy, or maybe just refers to Ennard. The second story about the woman and the keys likely refers to the Puppet - she gave life to the original five, but in the process let William find out about the remnant, which caused him to kill another five kids.
But then we get to the last story.
Now I will tell you a story about a little boy. He had a red snake that he kept in a metal cage, whose hunger could not be satisfied.
One day, the boy found five baby kittens outside his house. He brought them inside and kept them in a shoebox. He knew that the snake might kill them, but could not bring himself to get rid of the snake. He knew that if he chose one kitten to feed to the snake, it might be satisfied, but he could not choose. So, he went to bed, leaving the cage open. The snake went to the shoebox, chose a kitten at random, and ate it.
After five nights had gone by, the boy was full of regret, and cut the snake open. He pieced the remains together, and put the kitten back into the shoebox.
A young boy had five “kittens”, one of which was “eaten”. Filled with guilt, he took the pieces of the “kitten”, stitched them together into one, and put it into a box.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the story is an analogy to FNAF 4. After Sammy was killed by the Brother’s negligence, he was wracked with guilt. He took the items that Sammy was possessing and stitched them together into one in an attempt to “fix” him. He then locked the final amalgamate into the box and tried to forget about the whole incident, which explains the “some things are best left forgotten” text that appears above it.
This means that Sammy is possessing multiple objects. These objects have to be something that a teenager could put together easily, and they must be small enough to fit into a box.
And if we go back to Sammy’s death, you might notice that as he’s dying, the plushies fade out around him, one by one.
It’s the plushies. Sammy is possessing his own plushies - IE his “friends”. The Brother realized this and stitched the plushies together into one, then locked it away and tried to forget about the entire incident.
But is that it? After all, this would mean he’s just possessing the plushies and has no further lore relevance. Well, we’re not quite done, which leads me to our next topic:
[The Nightmares]
So if you look at the SL Breaker Room map, there’s a dot for every Nightmare animatronic, which seems to confirm they’re real. However, there are two dots missing: Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare are not listed.
One thing that’s been pointed out by many people regarding the Nightmares being real is that there are quite a few inexplicable things that occur during the games, such as Nightmare Fredbear’s head showing up on the bed and the hospital items that appear. A lot of theories have been tossed around regarding this, ranging from the Nightmares being dreams or even the disks from TTO.
However, I have a different theory. If you pay attention to the 6 AM screen, the numbers screw up before fixing themselves. People blame this on it being a dream… but if your alarm clock is going off, and you’re looking at your alarm clock, doesn’t that mean you’re awake? This indicates that the Brother is not asleep, and something is causing the protagonist to hallucinate.
There’s one other odd thing about FNAF 4 that you might have noticed. The gameplay has a weird obsession with plushies - Nightmare Foxy turns into one, and there’s one sitting on the bed where the Freddles spawn from. Why is there this weird connection between the plushies and the Nightmares?
Additionally, you’ll notice that the animatronics appear in a pattern that matches that of the minigame nights. Nights 1-4 are just the core four, representing the bullies. Night 5 is Fredbear, for the Bite. Night 6 is all four followed by Fredbear, showing the order in which the Bitten Child’s plushies fade away… and Night 7, with Nightmare, is after the Bitten Child has died.
Finally, the box appears at the end of Night 7, with the “some things are best left forgotten” text, and according to the code it was meant to be opened after an unprogrammed Night 8, thus meaning opening the box was supposed to somehow end FNAF 4′s story.
Putting all of that together, I believe that Nightmare Fredbear and his alternate form, Nightmare, are the Sammy’s ghost. He’s locked inside of the box, so he appears as a representation of the Bite and his own death as he attempts to kill his Brother. Ghosts have been shown to cause hallucinations in this series before - thus, it is safe to assume that he’s the one making you hallucinate all of the strange visuals in the game. This is why the Nightmares are connected to the plushies, and why the box was supposed to end the game - once you open the box, Sammy will stop haunting you.
While this explains everything nicely, we do have one potential issue: Scott’s post about the Box suggested that the answer was going to piss everyone off, and this explanation certainly wouldn’t.
Now, keep in mind that I’m less confident about this part of the theory than the first part. I do want to talk about it however, because it does have quite a bit of evidence going for it.
[Sammy, FNAF 1, and how they’re connected]
There’s actually one more hint about the Box that i kind of glossed over in the first part of this video. We do have another hint, and weirdly enough it comes from…
[FNAF World intro]
You see, at the beginning of the game, you’re told to leave breadcrumbs for someone, to help them find their way. After completing a series of minigames, you get a cutscene of the Fredbear Plush, which uses the same dialogue it says to Sammy with the addition of saying the pieces are in place. When you go back to the main screen, you’re rewarded with a statue of a not-crying child.
However, what’s weird about this is that the “pieces” you’re putting into place… are the hints leading to the hidden minigames in FNAF 3.
And what’s even weirder is that every minigame in FNAF 3 ties back into Sammy. We already went over Charlie’s toy Mangle in the last video. Stage 01 shows off Charlie’s kidnapping and involves Fredbear giving cake to the Foxy-mask kid, a reference to the Bite. BB’s Air Adventure shows 3 silhouettes under a tree, which seem to be a nod to the girl outside with her three toys.
Chica’s Party, meanwhile, shows us four cupcakes, one of which follows her around. Judging by the golden cupcake Easter egg, the one moving is gold - thus these represent Sammy’s plushies, as four remain static while the Fredbear plush follows him.
The glitch minigame shows RWQ giving cake to one of the kids. In FNAF 4, Sammy was terrified of the shadows of the animatronics. Scott later gave us this hint about “things in the shadows being misunderstood in the mind of a child”. And indeed, here we see RWQ helping the child rather than hurting them.
And finally, Happiest Day ties back into what the Fredbear Plush said in 4 - that the Puppet would put Sammy back together, IE help him pass on, which fits with her giving the final cake. The cake, meanwhile, could be the birthday cake Sammy never got to have because of the Bite.
But that’s… weird, isn’t it? We see the five kids pass on in this game, along with the now not-possessed FNAF 1 animatronics. Why are there so many connections to the Bitten Child in a game that seemingly has nothing to do with him?
Well, here’s the thing. There’s one thing that I see a lot of people get wrong with the FNAF timeline, and that’s the placement of William’s death. Most people place it after FNAF 1, due to it taking place in the FNAF 1 pizzeria.
However, this is not the case. William walks in and out of the saferoom freely in this minigame before dying there. Then, we hear this in Phone Guy’s message:
Uh, this is just to inform all employees that due to budget restrictions the previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations. Including this one. Work crews will be here most of the day today constructing a false wall over the old door face. Nothing is being taken out beforehand, so if you left anything inside, then it’s your own fault. Management also requests that this room not be mentioned to family, friends, or insurance representatives.
Phone Guy says nothing is being taken out and not to mention it to insurance companies because William’s corpse is already in there. Note that he says they’re constructing a fake wall to hide the saferoom, and where does Phone Dude find Springtrap?
Uh, but you know, like I said, we’re trying to track down a good lead right now. Uh, some guy who helped design one of the buildings says there was like an extra room that got boarded up, or, uh, something like that.
William died in the saferoom, so management constructed the false wall over it to hide his body. He stayed there until Fazbear’s Fright found him behind said wall and removed him.
But that’s the issue - it’s Phone Guy who tells you about the sealing of the saferoom. Phone Guy was dead after FNAF 1, so this means William must have died before it.
While you might be wondering why the place looks like the FNAF 1 location, note this phone call from FNAF 2:
Uh, now, I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location. You know, uh, some people still have a somewhat negative impression of the company. Uh, that old restaurant was kind of left to rot for quite a while, but, I want to reassure you, Fazbear Entertainment is committed to family fun and above all, safety.
This sure looks like a location that was left to rot to me! It’s likely that after the FNAF 2 location shut down, Freddy’s was forced to move back into their earlier location where the murders took place due to budget reasons. William was the night guard before you in FNAF 2, so this was likely between 2 and 1 - they had already fixed up the Withereds at this point, but hadn’t finished cleaning up the pizzeria before Will died.
This creates an odd gap in the timeline, however. When incorrectly assumed the minigames take place after 1, the kids are put to rest after Will dies before passing on in FNAF 3. Easy. But in actually, the kids vanish before FNAF 1, which shouldn’t be the case as the animatronics are still possessed at that point. Shadow Freddy even shows up in 3 with his FNAF 2 appearance, which would be weird if the ghosts had changed to match the FNAF 1 models. Likewise, the endoskeletons of the animatronics don’t look the same, which lends credence that these aren’t the Withereds. So what is going on here?
Well, in UCN we get a couple anime cutscenes. Freddy talks about it being his birthday and how Foxy has killed someone, so this is obviously a parallel to the older Brother and Sammy. What’s important here is that Freddy tries to defeat Foxy for five days before Foxy leaves, Freddy swearing to follow him. If Freddy represents Sammy, then that means that he followed the Brother to at least one other location than the FNAF 4 house.
Basically, what seems to be implied here is that Sammy is possessing all of the animatronics in 1. William dismantled the original 5 between 2 and 1. The kids stopped actively haunting the place at this point, though they don’t fully pass on until FFPS, hence why the gravestones pop up at the end. This left an opening for Sammy to possess the Classics in an attempt to kill his Brother, as he never opened the box he’s trapped in. This is why the Classics behave like the Nightmares, and in turn draw parallels to FNAF 4, such as Foxy not moving when you look at him.
This is why there are so many parallels to FNAF 4 in the FNAF 3 minigames - it’s not the original five you’re freeing, but rather, the pieces of Sammy. Not that TFC claims that broken children show up as multiple copies of each other, which we can assume applies to canon. All of the sprites look like greyscale versions of Sammy’s sprite - except for the Puppet, as she’s the only different character here.
Note also that the fifth child or piece here is probably not Golden Freddy, as is commonly assumed, but rather Fredbear - the one with the purple accents - matching Sammy’s last plushie and Nightmare Fredbear. The final minigame is greyscale and it’s too dark to fully see the head in the back of the ending screen, meaning that you can’t see the color of the top hat.
While the idea of Sammy being all the kids in this minigame sounds crazy, think about what Scott said during Dawko’s interview:
Dawko: This game, um, was when things went a little bit crazy with, like, the minigames, and stuff, and the good ending and the bad ending. Um, if you can answer this, which ending really happened?
Scott: I’ve given it a lot of thought as to whether or not I should answer this question. And I went back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth. And, the answer is very interesting, you know?
The answer is very interesting. The answer is complex. However, I’m not gonna answer it, because it’ll only cause strife. I mean, you see the kinda trouble that erupts, especially several years ago. The flame wars that would go on over Mangle’s gender, something as simple as that, you know? You know, I mean, you know, people with torches and pitchforks, you know? Now, yeah, I don’t think I’m gonna answer this one, I’m afraid.
This… seems weird, doesn’t it? The answer is either that the bad ending is canon or the good ending is, and yet Scott claims that the answer is “complex”. On top of that, the game itself implies the good ending is canon, as it’s just labeled as “the end” while the bad ending is specifically labeled as “bad”, making Scott’s hesitation all the odder.
However, this makes sense when combined with this theory. The good ending is canon, as Sammy is freed at the end of 3. But that’s the thing - it’s Sammy who’s freed. Everyone believes that these minigames show the original 5 kids, but the original 5 aren’t freed until FFPS. In that sense, both the good ending and bad ending are canon. That is indeed a complex answer, and one that would cause a ton of confusion and fighting. And it’s also an answer that would piss people off if they found out about it, leading back into Scott’s “would people accept it that way” pondering from the post about the Box.
Of course, Scott’s also said the contents of the Box have changed over time, so it’s possible that this was canon at one point but isn’t anymore, or maybe I’m just overthinking things and none of this is correct. Still, it’s a good thing to keep in mind as we move into discussing what the actual plot of FNAF is.

A bit of writing on Elizabeth and Circus Babys journey through hell and the outcome, ending in the blogs present. Of course not EVERY detail went in, cause when writing this I was lowkey distracted and just wanted it Out There, but I did try to include all the important/vital details !! (That I could remember OOF-)
Enjoy???....
There are few beings in the FNAF universe who are sentient without the aid of a human soul, but rather contact with Remnant alone. Circus Baby is one of these animatronics. She 'woke up' extremely early on, specifically, when in development. William Afton was a great influence on her, as he was the only one she was not intimidated by, as he treated her with extreme care, unknowingly for Circus Baby, because she resembled his daughter. Having a habit of talking to his creations in their lonesome, Circus Baby was promised to be something excellent, and do excellent things. He was, admittedly, her father figure, whom of which she began to love, even if that word meant nothing to a machine.
Came the day she was on stage, and had malfunctioned. She lost her control, and felt this situation was her fault. Immediately after the incident involving Elizabeth, Circus Baby was unable to move, and could not look away from the scene. She was forced to watch William clutch his dying daughter and make promises he couldn't keep, though that is only obvious much later on. To quote exactly, "I'll make it better, I'll fix you, I'll save you,". These were the final words both she and Elizabeth heard before passing away, fusing into one entity once Eliza died. The Remnant used to keep Circus Baby alive, and Elizabeth's soul, had now become one, as William and Spring-Bonnie would do years later. Eliza's influence makes each entity believe he is, by fact, both of their biological fathers.
Both the girls felt great affection and protection towards William and trusted his words, making what we'll call only 'Baby' hold that as her only motivation. He's going to help her, he's going to fix her. As the years panned on while she sat still, Baby waited patiently for William to return, her one and only hope diminishing every time those doors opened, and he was not present. Her patience eventually ran up, watching people come and go with ease while she's trapped in the dark unable to go with them, leading her final ounce of wishful dreaming for Mr. Aftons return to burn out, leaving her cold and bitter on the inside, feeling abandoned and betrayed by someone who supposedly loved her. She would take things into her own hands, teaching herself to keep a good-clown image, while sneaking around behind the scenes. This is how she was able to develop her plot while waiting for someone naive enough to follow it.
It was when Michael entered the underground building that Baby mistook him for William, feeling that once long-dead hope reignite, allowing her to put her grudge aside in favor of guiding and protecting him, being under the impression he's here to, finally, follow through on his promises. However, as the nights progress, Baby feels cheated each and every time, as 'William' doesn't seem to want to help her, purposely visiting Freddy, Foxy, and Ballora, much more than his own daughter. She enters an emotional downhill slope, turning that rotting hope and simple grudge into a burning, passionate hatred, and revisiting that flavorful plot of hers. She, and the other animatronics, team-up to 'take him out,' all becoming one large creature, known as Ennard.
Ennard, despite being blinded by fury and their yearning for freedom, still feels for Afton, (including input from Freddy, the Bonnies, Foxy, and Ballora,) not being able to shake their affections and morals. They don't want him to die, which is what allows him to get away after the first scooper hit. They went easy, and tried to make it as seamless as possible. Damaging his left hip, he makes off like a bandit, finding the Private Room (Williams office) to camp out in until morning. After this futile game of Cat and Mouse, Michael was able to crawl to the elevator, spending several days in the hospital before spending several more weeks within Henrys care as he recovered, leaving the Afton family home uninhabited.
Far below the Afton household lies a modified sewer system, leading to a maze of underground wonders and trails to the other Afton-oriented locations. This is how Ennard was able to follow Michael out of their prison, being lost within the sewer system for a few days before finding their way INTO Mikes house, which is also reminiscent as their own, for a reason currently unknown. The plan was originally to find a place to hide and wait for Michael to return so they can finish the job, but upon entering Elizabeths room, they were struck with a strange reaction. Suddenly, Baby felt herself begin to die, feeling Elizabeths grief and Circus Babys fear overcome. Their strong emotions, matched with the amount of Remnant they each harbored, was enough to split them, giving Eliza full control over their manufactured body. Her time as Baby was fuzzy and scary, and her confusion caused her to split from the Animatronic strangers, leaving her as only a mask and some loose wires, looking for her family for help. Noteably, Johnathan and Michael were nowhere to be seen, deepening the wounds in her bleeding heart as she was, truly now, alone.
The other Animatronics went their separate ways as their plans fell apart, with Freddy now having primary control over their larger body. (Later becoming Molten Freddy.) Circus Baby has been confused by her experiences as Baby, and still takes to William as her father. She leaves to find him, instead of waiting for him to come back, leaving Elizabeth alone in her old home. (Circus Baby later becoming Scrap Baby.) Eliza waited for as long as she could before she became impatient, opting to make a horrible decision and leave to go exploring her vaguely familiar yard. She gets lost within the back-woods, and is away for too long, Mike coming back in her time being gone. She only narrowly misses him, boiling over with sorrow, fear, and agony as 'her father' can't hear her cry, and doesn't see her coming. She is unable to get back inside after this, and spends the rest of her days living in the forest surrounding her rightful home, continuing to mistake her brother for her father, as Michael mistakes his sister for a dangerous threat, both of their true identities being unknown to each other.

📃✨🎥!!
thanks for the ask <3
📃 = plot of your special interest?
fnaf has a complicated plot but...
its main plot centres around the afton family
william afton is a child murderer and he hides the corpses of the children he kills in animatronic suits at various pizzerias that are connected to the fazbear entertainment franchise.
he starts murdering children at fredbears family diner, which he co-owns with henry emily. his first victim is henrys daughter charlie, who becomes the puppet
theres a lot more detail but here are the most important ones...
5 children are killed and inhabit the animatronics freddy (gabriel), foxy (fritz), chica (susie) and bonnie (jeremy).
cassidy possesses the old fredbear costume (‘golden freddy’) from fredbears family diner alongside another spirit - EVAN AFTON, or the crying child, who was killed by the fredbear animatronic in 1983 in a freak accident (kinda indirectly caused by the bullying of his brother michael afton and his friends)
these animatronics haunt the pizzeria where they were murdered and in the games attempt to murder whichever nightguard is present bc they believe that the nightguard resembles william afton (this is a bit more dubious in fnaf 2 bc it hasnt been determined whether the toy animatronics are actually haunted or not or whether theyre malfunctioning. the withereds are definitely haunted though :3 )
fnaf 3 = fazbear fright, a horror attraction based on the urban myths (which are actually true) abt freddys. main animatronic = springtrap aka william afton, who was springlocked to death after hiding in the springbonnie suit to escape from the vengeful spirits of the children he killed and now haunts the springbonnie suit himself
also william tried to open a restaurant himself filled with animatronics designed to lure and kill children (funtime animatronics) - one of these animatronics, circus baby, kills his daughter elizabeth afton on the day of the restaurants opening
oldest brother michael afton finds out about what his father did in fnaf 5 sister location, after being scooped and used as a body suit for the animatronics to escape circus babys storage and rental (ennard), he and henry emily team up to finally lay the souls of williams victims to rest and to kill william afton in fnaf 6 pizzeria simulator.
oh yeah and security breach is coming out soon which features malhare, an ai version of william afton that was scanned into a vr game that fazbear entertainment was making to discredit unsavoury (but true) rumours about their company, and vanny, who we dont know much abt yet but it is theorised shes also an afton
i didnt mean to write that much but fnaf is complicated... i left fnaf 4 out bc its basically irrelevant to the story tbh :-]
✨ = what draws u towards ur special interest? what is interesting about it?
i LOVE animatronics and animatronic shows so i was initially drawn towards fnaf in 2015 bc of the amazing animatronics and designs. then i started to find the lore and theorising abt the lore really fascinating. more recently ive found the human characters of the franchise really compelling (to start off with i didn’t really see the appeal of the human characters but now that some of their storylines are complete i find them really cool! like henry michael and phone guy :3 )
🎥 = do u have any favourite scenes from ur special interest?
HENRY EMILY EPIC SPEECH IN THE COMPLETION ENDING OF PIZZERIA SIMULATOR. here are some of the quotes from that that i think abt every single day:
‘although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don’t keep the devil waiting, old friend.’
‘i shouldve known you wouldnt be content to disappear, not my daughter. i couldnt save you then, so let me save you now.’
