You know Santhanam, the character played by Manikandan? I loved his character and i remember being shocked when he shot at Vikram. Then when he tries to talk he says 'sir na-' and promptly gets head butted by a gun.

I always used to think that he was out of the loop like vikram and the scene he entered was very discriminating against Vikram, like he had the IG at gunpoint and the others too.

I guess this is just me defending him.

This the exact second he gets knocked out. (But seriously, if the force needed to knock out a person was used, Vikrams hand in the middle of the gun and his head should definitely be broken right?)

I just rewatched 1-10 and the scene where beth realizes dean doesn't have cancer is the same moment she finds out Rio has been arrested via the hospital tv. It almost seemed like she projected her feeling of hurt and betrayal onto Rio in that moment? or maybe she absorbed the satisfaction of getting Rio arrested to blot out what she was feeling about dean in that moment? It seemed reeally pointed that those moments happened at the same time.

I think you're right about her feelings of satisfaction and her projection onto Rio being a means to get herself through the moment. In a lot of ways, that scene at the hospital with the news of Dean's deception and Rio's arrest is about power, and in the moment of it, Beth both has none of it and has all of it. Dean's deception has victimised her in a way that not only exploited her trust, but made her the exact sort of person she accused him of thinking she was in her speech in 1.06 - naive, innocent and dumb.

To have that discovery followed up by the realisation that her plan to take Rio down worked is enough to give anyone whiplash, haha, but I think for Beth in the moment, it was her way of burying the hurt with Dean to focus on the thing that made her feel like she wanted to feel – powerful.

It was something I think was underscored by her dressing like Rio immediately afterwards - distancing herself from her domestic goddess image that was more affiliated with being Dean's wife - and trying to convince Annie and Ruby to go to Canada with her to start their own operation. She tried to swallow up the powerlessness in one part of her life with the power the other gave her, only for Rio to show up in her living room and take it all away again.

It's a really great sequence in terms of the way it see-saws Beth's power before it all comes crashing down!

A/n: Have some headcanons to soothe the pain I just caused

Under the cut since it’s a long one! MC is about 16 in this one!

Also: might include some spoilers!!!

Yoosung

Finally, he wasn’t the youngest anymore! 

He was so excited to meet you and honestly he was all sunshine and rainbows as he talked about how you were like a little sibling to him

So gushing and doting, he’s more of an older sibling than a parental figure, but he still does it so well

Always brags to his guildmates he has the best sibling ever, and he will fight (and lose horribly) to anyone who tries to say otherwise

Very concerned over you since you’re so young and caught up in the RFA’s mishaps. 

So proud of anything you do, even getting out of bed makes him cheer for you

Always cooks for you, anything you want, he’ll make for you. 

He won’t admit it until he’s at his worst- when the depression and the grief from losing Rika really gets to him- but he looks up to you. He kinda gets jealous of how young and talented you are (even if you don’t think so), and wishes to become better so you have someone actually worthwhile to look up to (in his mind). 

He doesn’t seem to think that you like him, he still assumes he’s a bit of a nuisance and someone else could be better. You however, love him a lot and value his presence in your life. You don’t think you would’ve been as motivated without his help!

Sometimes he can get a bit irresponsible and you need to drag his butt to bed so he doesn’t game so much. 

Taking care of you has been a roller coaster for both of you, but he still feels a lot better since you’re here. He has cut down on his bad habits and has slowly grown from his past issues. 

If you talk about how you’re going on a date, he’ll cry. 

“Waaaaaahhhhhh!!! How are you going on dates before I am????” 

He’s supportive though, and makes sure your date actually cares for you. Probably the only one on this list you don’t have to worry about when saying you’re seeing someone

Okay so the first moment you met him on the messenger, you flipped out. 

“ZEN??? AS IN THE ZEN???? JDSFJNAJGNLSJN OH MY GOD CAN YOU STEP ON ME?????”

Jaehee also feels you but outwardly tells you to relax

He goes full on dad mode. He immediately checks himself and everyone else, anything above a ‘g’ rating and he’s flipping out. No more flirting, no more swearing, no more smoking, he’s gotta be a father figure somehow.

Once he cools down, he finds that his paternal instincts come naturally. He is very easy to talk to and is easily your biggest supporter. He wants you to feel confident in yourself and see that he’s got your back no matter what happens, something he didn’t have growing up. 

If you say you wanna act or join theater (especially if it’s because of him) he’ll just cry. He’ll sob about how his ‘child’ is the most precious thing in the world. 

He’s a straight up PTA dad afterwards, always going to your school when he can and checking up on you. 

All the mothers and teachers try to hit on him but he ignores them because his shining little star is there

He goes to all of your shows, all of your concerts, ANYTHING that involves potentially watching you do something, he is there in a second. 

After anything, whether you give a speech or a finished a performance, he’s there with a large bouquet of flowers. He’s so proud of you and he feels so enthusiastic about you. 

His narcissism drops about 200% because now he’s focused on you. His phone is full of pictures of you and your accomplishments, and after anything he makes sure to say it in the RFA messenger. 

He’s really easy to have a heart to heart with because you’re his precious little angel and he’s just as (if not more) emotional as you. 

HOWEVER!!! DO NOT!! I REPEAT!!! DO NOT MENTION DATING!!! THIS MAN WILL GO WALK UP TO WHOEVER YOU LIKE/DATING AND WILL GO INTO A FISTFIGHT WITH THEM. 

He screams when you mention guys- ‘MEN ARE WOLVES!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! THEY ARE DISGUSTING DO NOT EVER DATE!! YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO DATE UNTIL IM DEAD AND YOURE 80!!’

Jumin

So, let’s cut to the chase, you REEALLy liked the fact Jumin was rich. 

“Wow, so I DON’T have to starve everyday???” 

Jumin is...not the most emotional at first. He is just getting used to having to take care of you so it will be a while before he opens up. 

Jumin is great for when you want to rant or need to blow off steam. He doesn’t say anything and just listens to you. However, it’s horrible when you want emotional/physical comfort. 

He tries, he really does, but since he grew up so detached with his emotions he immediately thinks you’re dramatic. It isn’t until Jaehee (and perhaps Zen too) step in and say how he can’t keep brushing off your feelings 

So, he decides to try even harder and understand the enigma that is a teenage mind. 

It’s difficult as shit

After a while, he begins to learn all your cues and patterns, and understands what you want when you need it. He can read you like an open book now and knows when he should give you space or step in and comfort you. 

He’s actually really good at it 

He is always pampering you to the extreme. You watch tv and muse, “cool... there’s a new video game out.” and forget moments later, he immediately walks in with over a hundred games and pre-ordered, deluxe gold editions of them. 

He is the prime example of a father figure at this point, and all your friends get jealous.

He only gives you the best and will settle for nothing less. You are practically his own child at this point and like HELL is he gonna give you anything he discerns as not worthy. 

He likes taking you out for nice strolls after you beg ask for you two to hang out. You always get excited at seeing a simple cafe or mannequin with a cute outfit, and he wonders at how nice it must be to be so innocent

Plenty of outlets had contacted him about you, but he makes sure your privacy is secure. He doesn’t want anyone taking advantage of you or getting too personal

But they do manage to capture snippets of you two walking, and some misunderstandings have occurred due to it

“Jumin Han is dating a minor!” 

“Jumin Han has child after affair with mistress!” 

He gets fed up with the rumors and explains right away that you are NOT his lover, and you are NOT his actual child. He lies and says you were the child of a good friend of his, because explaining what actually happened would be weird

He is one of the worst when you say you’re dating someone. He will hound his security guards to watch EVERYTHING you to do, and he WILL have 707 do a background check on whoever you are going out with. 

“What are they doing?” “Uhhh...they’re eating.” “What about now?” “Still eating sir.” “Are his hands visible?” “Yes sir, he’s using them to eat a burger.” “B-burger? Where are they at?!” “McDonald’s sir...” “What kind of lousy date is this, why did (Y/n) accept this, does he think he’s good enough for my child with his peasant lifestyle???” “Sir...they’re 16????” 

All in all, he’s trying to be a good father figure and guardian that he never really had growing up. But he’s so prideful at seeing how much you mature, and even though he’s blunt sometimes, he hopes you understand he loves you a lot. 

He also tries dad jokes, but they’re so weird because obviously he rehearsed it and he says it so stoically that it makes it even funnies. 

Jaehee

Jaehee is a sweet woman, and she is like your best friend and mother rolled into one. 

She is so caring and considerate of your feelings, and is your number one supporter. 

She may seem kinda stand-offish, and kind of annoyed because she’s already incredibly busy now she has to take care of someone else and-

Whoops now she’s in the PTA and runs it like a damn boss. She is all over your studies and fights the faculty if she feels the school is not running in tip top shape. 

She gets exhausted a lot, as Jumin isn’t exactly the easiest boss to work for. 

It was kind of hard at first, sometimes she wouldn’t come home until way after midnight, and she’d see your body passed out on the couch with a note on the table about how you tried to make her dinner. 

Even though it wasn’t the best, knowing you tried so hard to stay up for her as well as cooking for her made the food taste even better than anything a five star restaurant could have made. 

So she tries to make it up to you in any way she can. She’ll pick you up your favorite movie or snack on her way home, or even little cute gifts that reminded her of you. 

She writes down any information she knows about you, and makes sure to write about your friends and teachers so she can keep up with you. 

She gushes about Zen a lot, and you were a fan too, so you both would binge watch his movies and clips of him. ANY piece of media involving Zen was devoured by you two. 

You two were constantly picking each other up and giving gifts, and when it was Jaehee’s birthday, you wrote her a letter about how much she meant to you and even got Zen to sign a poster for her! 

It was also the first time you called her ‘mom’, and even though the Zen poster is proudly hung up in her office, she can’t help but smile at how you called her that. 

She is a huge advocate of following your dreams. She does complain about how awful it is to work for Jumin sometimes, so she hopes to god you do something you love. 

You also convinced her to start her own cafe! You helped her as much as you could, and she was just...so ecstatic. 

Jaehee is easy to talk to, she is always prepared with good advice and comforting words. 

Probably the second easiest to talk to about dating. She is hesitant at first because one, you’re young and stupid, and two, she just doesn’t trust people. 

707/ Saeyoung

Okay, everyone in the RFA was hesitant to allow him to take care of you. They trusted him when it came to his work, but this was an actual human being. He could hardly take care of himself, how would he even take care of you???

Surprisingly, he’s an awesome guardian

A lot of them didn’t believe it at first and they were like ‘blink twice if he isn’t feeding you’ but you shrug and insist he’s great

He’s very nurturing and protective of you, and he sort of sees this as a second chance to make up for when he couldn’t help his brother. 

He’s really good in the fact that he’ll allow you your space to grow, but he will step in if you’re out of line or in trouble

Will NOT hesitate to ruin someone’s life if they dare hurt you. He’s got connections and the prowess and like hell is someone gonna make his child cry. 

Saeyoung is still as corny and crazy as he is in the chatroom, but in these instances with you, he means it a lot. He does anything he can to make you smile, even if it means he’d get hurt. 

He is a lot calmer though with you, and his parental instincts kick in a lot more. The RFA was shocked to see him actually change some of his poor quality of life skills as a means to be a better guardian to you. 

When he needs to go on a mission, he entrusts Jumin or Vanderwood to take care of you. 

He never tells you about those dangerous missions, he only says he’s going to be at a conference out of the country. 

He always makes sure to get you a souvenir or gift when he comes back from those trips. 

Joy rides in his cars!! He loves to take you to the beach or sightseeing whenever he can. 

He stills eats poorly, but it really makes him melt when you offer him some dinner you cooked for him. He started screaming and Yoosung (who was on the other end of the phone call) felt his ears bleed. 

He gets so excited for your cooking, like he stops his work just to take a bite of your grub. 

He hacks to get movies that weren’t even released to the public yet so you both could watch it on your downtime. He’s a hardcore softie though and you still have yet to see him shut up or not sob all over you as you two watch. 

“You’re getting snot on me!!!” “I’M sorry it’s just....oh my god how could this even happen??????” 

You accidentally called him ‘dad’ one time and he lost it. He was jumping for joy and hugging you in a death grip, screaming, “IM A FATHER!!!!!” 

Oh and he will definitely not pass up the opportunity to make some Star Wars references. 

You can’t hide anything from him. He tries to not be snoopy but holy shit you did not know just how far he’d go when it came to keeping tabs on you. 

By the time he was done he knew the name of your first grade crush, an incident where you kicked your own self, and how old you were when you got your first cavity. 

Likewise, he will already know if you’re crushing/dating someone. He’ll pretend he doesn’t know, but secretly do a background check. 

OKay so this definitely happened on your first date out with your crush, you two went out for milkshakes when your phone started sounding like Saeyoung’s voice. 

“HEY YOUNG MAN BOTH HANDS ON THE TABLE NOW!!!” 

You both started SCREAMING and had to be told to shut up by the staff because what the hell, your phone was talking! 

You screamed at him later on to mind his damn business

And god help whoever you were dating if they hurt you. 

This man will go ballistic and start hacking their things like a crazy psycho

“DONT WORRY, GOD SEVEN WILL FIX THIS!!!!” 

But seriously, this man adores you to the bottom of his heart. He’s made many mistakes in the past, but you will sure as hell not be another one of them. Anything you ask of him, he’ll gladly do!

V

V is a great guardian for those who don’t like pressure or stress. He’s so soothing and relaxing.

Hardly will ever raise his voice at you, and he practically never gets angry at you

He can’t see that well, but he seems to have a sixth sense that just makes him know where you are and when you are in danger. 

He likes taking you out to more scenic ventures, maybe even get you into photography as well!!

He has so many pictures of you, you are like his favorite subject

He even made an exhibit just based on you, and after that, he got a lot of calls about who you were. He made sure they know that you are basically his child

He feels incredibly guilty you had to go through this whole mess. He really wishes nothing bad would happen and you just didn’t have to get involved, but you always encourage him and say you don’t mind, you met him because of it!

He melts and cries a bit later on

If you call him ‘dad’ he gets so happy, like he finally feels like he actually did something right for once

But occasionally he doubts himself and can get kinda stand-offish in fear of how he might hurt you later on

He doesn’t make the same mistakes this time, and he makes sure you can get the help you need. He’s not gonna allow you to hurt yourself or others, and he won’t enable negative behaviors. 

He doesn’t talk about Rika to you. That was one of the worst moments in his life, and he thinks you’ll hate him because of it. 

You don’t- and he wonders what he did to deserve you

V is not an idiot. He may be partially blind but oh honey, he WILL know if you are dating someone. Don’t ask how, he does. 

He’s chill about it, but makes sure you understand what you are getting into. He’ll sit you down and start questioning you or your date’s intentions

It’s a side effect from his past with Rika, he doesn’t want you hurt, nor does he want you to hurt someone else. 

He makes you have clear and concise boundaries

He’ll let you do as you please, just please, for everything holy in this world, let him know where you are and be back before 10. 

If you get into a bad breakup he’s there to comfort you but also calls 707 to use his special skillset

I feel like V would use a lot of dad jokes. Like he doesn’t even know where it comes from and he’ll just say one, and 707 flips out.

Overall, just a calm dude who really loves you a lot. You’re allowed to grow and be your own person, but within some boundaries. He’ll stop at nothing to keep your smile. 

Unknown/ Saeran

Okay so... he feels weird. You’re a child. A damn child. 

He gets very conflicted because he gets flashbacks of how he was taken at a young age

He starts off as incredibly scary, staring you down to make you fear for your life, but you notice right away he’s become...softer

If anything, now he feels guilty. You were nice to him, even though he did all these things to you...

Saeran becomes a guard dog to you, watching over you like a hawk. 

As thanks, sometimes you would make him sweets

He loves them a lot, they’re now his favorite things

Pretty soon, a friendship begins to form, and then a feeling of guardianship over you. 

He’s noticeably a lot nicer and softer to you, he’ll be cussing out his brother in one moment but then if you ask him for something, he’ll stop and bend down to your level and answer you. 

Saeyoung finds this incredibly hilarious and nice

Saeran feels a lot better having you around. He feels a lot safer and happier, and knowing that you are safe and happy makes him even more excited. 

He likes gardens, so he takes you to them a lot, and he even decided to start one with you

On special days, or days when you are feeling down, he’ll get you a special bouquet of flowers with different meanings to cheer you up!

Baking is also a special hobby between you two. Sweets in general are where you two bond, so occasionally you two go out and try different sweet shops, cafes, or parlors.

He has his days when he’s more lax about you, but also has days when he’s breathing down your neck

It’ll take him a long time to be considered a ‘good’ guardian, please be patient, and gently let him know how he should improve. 

He’s not good at dealing with your emotions. All he knows how to do is punch whatever made you feel sad, but he quickly learns he can’t do that, and takes advice from all the RFA to help you. 

You can fight me but he probably has bought some guidebooks or pamphlets to try and learn to take care of you, and he’s LOST.

He sees a lot of shows and tries to do stereotypical ‘family’ things, but quickly realizes that neither of you are enjoying it and he breathes a sigh of relief because holy hell that made him so uncomfortable. 

You both are pretty blunt with what you feel so you’re both on the same page, and try to work it accordingly. 

Okay on occasion he’s got you outfits that are similar to his so you both can match and he loves it so much

The most awkward dad jokes. EVER. You’ll be like, ‘hey I’m hungry’, and he’ll remember that he read on a parenting website that dad jokes make your connection stronger or something, so he’ll murmur, ‘hi hungry, I’m dad’. You didn’t know whether to laugh or cry because he was in physical pain after saying that. 

You both got a lot to work on, but he tries. Really. And he’s so happy he met you, and he’ll make sure you grow up with a better childhood than he did. Nothing is too big or too small for him to do.

Just A Fool - Stiles Stilinski Imagine (Teen Wolf)

Author's Note: So, I had this idea for a new Imagine when I listened to the song 'Just a fool' by Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton. I liked that the song told a break-up from two different perspectives and tried to involve that into my story. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Let me know if I should write a second part, because I'm considering to write it. Thanks for reading! :)

(Y/N) sat at the bar of her favourite pub and looked at the people surrounding her. On her left was a young, half-drunk student, who was probably drinking his fifth beer while watching the football game on the tiny TV above the bar. On the booths behind her sat quite a lot of people, most of them young and drunk, eating burgers and drinking beer while talking to each other or watching the football game.

It was quite full for a thursday night and a lot of young and old men came here after work just to watch the American Football Games. (Y/N) usually came here every thursday after her shift at a fast food restaurant, because she enjoyed having a few drinks and talking to Pete, the bartender, who she already became friends with.

Being here gave her time to forget about her problems, about her past, about the reason why she had moved to New York City and why she had decided to leave her old hometown Beacon Hills in California. (Y/N) knew that alcohol wouldn't solve her problems, but at least it made her feel better for a while.

''Hey, Pete. I'd like another shot of whisky, please.'' (Y/N) looked at the bartender and smiled as she ordered another drink. Pete nodded and turned around to grab the whisky and refilled her shot. ''So.. how much do you plan to drink today?'' Pete asked while he sweeped up the mess on the bar. (Y/N) drank the shot before she put it back on the counter to respond to Pete's question. ''I guess you have to keep it coming 'til I don't remember how miserable my life is.'' Pete sighed at her response, he did feel sorry for her. ''Want to talk about it?'' He asked, but (Y/N) shook her head. ''I'd rather not today, but thank you anyway, Pete.'' The bartender smiled at her before he walked on the other side of the bar to serve another guest.

(Y/N) looked at her empty glass and sighed. Why am I even doing this to myself? I used to hate drinking so much, but now I'm sitting here, drinking one shot after another... She thought to herself. But (Y/N) knew exactly why she did this to herself. She knew exactly why she came here every week. She wanted to drink away the pain. The pain she was feeling inside of her because of her last relatonship, because of the boy she still had feelings for, because of the boy she couldn't let go. Stiles Stilinski.

Their break up had been too painful for her. So painful that she moved out of their appartment, out of the city, out to a whole different state. She still loved him and it hurt so much, because she knew that he didn't feel the same way about her. He didn't even bother to call her when she left, he didn't even beg her to stay when she told him she'd go, he didn't even love her at all.

(Y/N) tried to push her thoughts about her ex-boyfriend away and focused on something else. She suddenly heard a song quietly playing in the background, coming from the radio hidden behind the bottle shelves. It was one of her favourite songs.

''Can you turn up the music a little louder, please?'' (Y/N) asked Pete who stood by the bottle shelves to grab a bottle of wodka for a new guest. ''Sure,'' Pete responded, before he pulled out the radio and fumbled with it. He turned the volume up and then went back to work.

(Y/N) listened to the song and closed her eyes. It was probably far past midnight by now, but (Y/N) didn't care. She wanted to get past the midnight hour anyway, since the drinks were cheaper and people were starting to leave the pub. She let out a breath she was holding in this whole time and couldn't help but think about Stiles again. It was always getting worse on thursdays since that was the day she and Stiles had met and it was also the day they both had fallen in love with each other during sophomore year back in high school. She hoped that she would feel better by tomorrow, that it wouldn't be as hard for her to move on as it was today, but she knew that it wouldn't be this way.

She knew that the day didn't really matter and that it was just an excuse for her to come to this pub and have a few drinks while in reality Stiles was always in the back of her mind, causing her heart to ache.

(Y/N) had set her heart on this boy and on their whole relationship, but in the end nothing and no one had ever caused her so much trouble, told her so many lies and hurt her the way that Stiles did.

Who knew that love could ever be this cruel? (Y/N) definitely didn't, because otherwise she would have never started dating him in the first place.

(Y/N) remembered all of the nights she spent at home alone, waiting for her boyfriend to come home and talk to her, but he never did. She always woke up the next day, hoping that he'd returned from the meetings with his friends, but he never showed up, didn't even call her to cancel a date or tell her that he was alright.

And the worst thing about it all was that she had always forgiven him. Everytime he came back to her, she had accepted the apologies he had told her, just because she had been too scared to lose him. She believed every word he had ever told her, all the 'I love you's' and 'I'm sorry's', all the lies and excuses, everything.

All this time she had thought that Stiles loved her, that they were meant to be together, that he was the right one for her... but she was wrong. She was a fool to believe that any of his words, any of their relationship and any of his love had been real.  

''(Y/N), here's another shot of whisky for you, because right now you look like you need one.'' Pete said as he refilled her glass once again. (Y/N) opened her eyes and looked up at her friend, offering him a small smile. ''Thank you.'' She grabbed the drink, closed her eyes and before Stiles could cross her mind again, she drank the shot and slowly felt the alcohol take over her body.

Stiles sat infront of his best friend Scott's house, a bottle of beer in his hand, while waiting for him to come back home. He was frustrated because it was another one of those days where he missed (Y/N) the most. Stiles knew that it was his fault that she'd left, that she broke up with him, but he couldn't stop thinking about her. He felt empty because she wasn't there anymore, empty because he knew she'd probably moved on already.

''Stiles what are you doing here?'' A very familiar voice asked him, pulling Stiles out of his thoughts about (Y/N). He looked up from the ground and locked his gaze with Scott, who was looking at him worriedly. ''Hi, Scotty. Where have you been? Y'know you're my best friend and I reeally wanted to see you.'' Stiles said, chuckling over his own words.

He was a little drunk from all the beer he'd been drinking all day. Stiles usually wasn't that much of a drinker, but when it came to (Y/N), alcohol was the only thing that helped him forget about the pain he was feeling inside of him. ''Have you been drinking again?'' Scott sighed and ran over to his best friend. He wrapped his arm around his waist to steady him as he helped him to get up. ''C'mon buddy, let's get you inside.''  Scott said as he walked Stiles to his living room couch. ''Why did you drink anyway, huh? You know exactly which effect alcohol has on you.'' Scott reminded his best friend reproachfully. Stiles just ignored the worried remark of his best friend and took another sip out of the bottle in his hand, but Scott, who had managed to sit Stiles down onto his couch, rolled his eyes and grabbed the bottle out of Stiles hand. ''Seriously Dude, don't you think you've had enough already?!'' Scott crossed his arms infront of his chest and looked down at his best friend, who was looking at Scott with big, innocent eyes. ''No! I only had one beer, Scotty. Only one beer,'' Stiles objected, pouting his lips.

Scott knew how his best friend was when he had too much to drink and that's why he didn't respond to Stiles' pouting face and his big puppy eyes. ''Stiles, why are you drinking again? We've just talked about it recently and you promised me and your father that you'd stop.'' Stiles didn't respond. Scott was right, but what was he supposed to say? That he was getting drunk to get over his broken heart? That he missed the only girl he ever really cared about so much that the only thing that helped him was alcohol? No, he couldn't tell him that. So instead he lied to him. ''I'm just stressed... you know after fighting the Dread Doctors and evil Theo I just need something to calm my nerves down.''

''Stop lying to me, Stiles. I'm your best friend... and I'm supposed to help you with whatever you're going through.'' Scott sat down next to Stiles and put his hand on his shoulder. ''You never drink unless it's about something-'' and then it suddenly hit Scott like a brick. ''It's (Y/N), isn't it?'' Scott asked, looking at his best friend. Of course it was about her.

Stiles frowned at the sound of her name. He was constantely thinking about her, his mind was full with pictures of her, the sound of her laughter was stuck inside his ears ever since she had left him, but he hadn't heard someone mentioning her name in so long. ''(Y/N)? No, why would I care about her?'' Stiles tried to play it cool, even though Scott probably knew how he really felt. But still, there was no way that Stiles would admit his feelings for (Y/N).

''Because you started drinking ever since she left. Plus, I'm your best friend, Stiles.. you can't hide something from me, because in the end I'm gonna find out, anyway.'' Scott responded. ''There is nothing I have to hide from you Scott, because I don't care about (Y/N) anymore, alright? She walked away and honestly I would have done the same thing.'' Stiles murmered, looking into Scott's eyes. ''Y'know.. we were bad together anyway. We were constantely fighting and arguing with each other and I feel like there was no love anymore. I guess we were just not meant to be together,'' Stiles mumbled, rather talking to himself than to Scott, even though he knew that he had heard it anyway.

''You two were good together Stiles and you know that. Everyone knew that,'' Scott argued back. ''No, Scott. I'm better off without her and she's better off without me. There is no such things as hope or fate.. things just happen and (Y/N) and I happened to not be together anymore. So please just stop talking about it,'' Stiles said without actually meaning it.

He had tried to think this way about their relationship, but he knew that this was just a shield to protect himself. He missed her and their relationship more than he'd ever admit, but he somehow had to move on without her. He had set his heart on (Y/N) and thought that she was the only one he'd ever love, but in the end he had messed it up. Nothing had ever hurt him more than letting her go and because of that he knew that love was the cruelest thing in the world. After(Y/N) had left Beacon Hills, he had waited every day for her to come back home and tell him that she'd give their relationship another chance, but that never happened. She never came back and Stiles knew that he was a fool for not only breaking her heart, but for letting the love of his life go, without even telling her that he'd done everything to keep her safe from all the bad things happening in Beacon Hills. That he'd done everything because he loved her.

Stiles had never really lost the hope that eventually (Y/N) and him would end up together again. He still loved her as much as he did when they first met and that was his problem. He was too stubborn and in love with her to realize that whatever he and (Y/N) had would probably never ever come back. He had to accept that it was lost.

(Y/N) was already very tipsy from all the alcohol she have had, but that still wasn't enough for her. She wanted to drink so much that she would feel nothing at all, but this plan seemed not to work tonight. Her mind constantely wandered back to Stiles and the way she still felt about him.

She knew that leaving him was the right thing to do, because the relationship they've had was not healthy at all, but she regretted it. New York was not the city of her dreams, she wasn't happy. The only place she ever really felt happy was Beacon Hills together with Stiles and her friends.

Maybe she should have let all the problems she and Stiles had go and just appreciate what they had instead of crying over something they didn't have. Maybe she should have held her tongue and listened to what Stiles had to tell her instead of running away from him. But now she couldn't change it anymore...

She couldn't fight the motion, because now everything was wrong. Even worse than it was before. New York was loud and busy and full of people who didn't even bother to look up from their phone, a place (Y/N) completely felt lost in. It was so different from Beacon Hills where everything seemed so calm and quiet and where people actually had time to talk to each other.

(Y/N) was thrown apart and she hated herself for it. She still was a fool for Stiles and she knew that it would never change whether she would find someone new to love or not. He had her heart and even though he had hurt her more than anything else in the world, she'd always wait for him to come to New York and bring her back to Beacon Hills where she belonged, just like she had waited for him to come home all the nights back at their appartment, because that's what love was about. Because that's what her love for Stiles was about. She loved him and nothing would ever change that.

''There's always hope, Stiles. I know that you tell yourself that you're better off without her, but that's not true. You love her and she loves you, it's always been that way and it always will. Love means sacrifice and (Y/N) sacrificed herself by moving to New York, even though she still loved you, Stiles. She sacrificed her old life with the people she loved and cared about, because she loves you. She left this place because she thought that she was in the way off something and now you have to tell her that she wasn't. Fight for her, Stiles. Fight for her with everything you have. Do what I was not able to do with Allison...fight for  her, before she falls in love with someone else. Fight for her before it's too late.'' Scott told Stiles while patting him on the shoulder.

Stiles looked at his best friend for a second to let his words sink in before he nodded, ''Yeah, you're right, Scott. I need to fight for her. I will fight for her, because she is the love of my life and because I don't want my stupid mistakes to ruin everything we once had. I love her and that's why I will fly to New York and bring her back to Beacon Hills.'' and this time he meant everything he said.

He was going to fight for their relationship, because Stiles had set his heart on her. She had his heart from the moment he met her and she would always have his heart. Yes, she had hurt him by leaving but he had hurt her by letting her go, by lying to her and not telling her the truth. He needed to talk to her and tell her everything about the supernatural world, everything about his adventures with the pack, everything he had tried to protect her from because he had been to scared to lose her.

Love might be the cruelest thing in the world, but it could also be the best thing in the world if it was with the right person. (Y/N) was this person for Stiles. He had waited too long for her to come back, now it was time for him to make a move and fly to New York to bring her back, to bring her back where she belonged, to bring her home.

He had been a fool for too long and he had enough of it. He wanted her back and there was nothing in the world that could stop him now. Not even 2.441 miles that lay between Beacon Hills and New York. Nothing could hold him back anymore, because (Y/N) was everything he ever wanted and he would not let her slip through his fingers again.

Thoughts about Spn 12x09

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Man, I missed my show. This episode was overall okay, though not Dabb’s best, but there were a few details that bugged me. It also started/contuined some themes and arcs, that I’m looking forward to see unravel in the second half of the season.

So here we go again.

The Law Enforcement

Now this is a theme that was kinda big in the early seasons, especially season 1-3, and shortly became prominent again in season 7, and then the show forget about it again. It was a nice recap during the episode of Winchesters vs the law, and showing us again how they look like to an outsider: like seriously disturbed serial killers. And they kind of played with that image when they told agent Sanchez “ Cause we're not trapped out here with you. You're trapped out here with us”. The hunted become the hunters. Just, they didn’t kill anyone. Because they are the good guys. Or Sam said, the guys who once saved the world. And that of course contrasts them also to the British MoL. Sam and Dean didn’t kill the men who were after them because in the end they were just soldiers, doing their job, who didn’t know better. They might have been misguided, they would have kille the Winchesters, but they were not evil. But to the British MoL they are a mess Mr. Ketch once again needs to clean up.

They was also a contrast between agent Sanchez and big shot anti terroism guy. Sanchez acted like he almost had a personal vendetta against Dean. But I really liked bsatg. He doesn’t believe in torture for one thing, and I’m glad the show didn’t go there again. We had enough of ot in the season opener. And he was right that what the Winchesters would bring down was the solitude and the nothingness. Though I’m still not sure if 6 weeks of it are worse than 40 years of hell.

I’m still kinda sad the show missed the opportunity to introduce some kind of x files here. I almost thought that bsatg knew the truth about Sam and Dean and helped them escape. Or that there was some sort of warding in the cells, that would keep them from doing prayers. But we go there later.

Also, I never liked the term “leader of the free world”, but right now I can’t help to see the bitter irony of it, as Trump does everything to make the world less free.

The British MoL

Man, I love “Ghost Town”, and for some reasons I always think this song is incredibly British, so it kinda fitted to hear it with Mr. Davies. Also, the typewriter: nice Fringe reference. So, the British MoL try to recruit American hunters. And I think recruit is the right word here, because what they want them to become is essentially good little soldiers, who do their job and don’t ask questions (sounds familiar? And isn’t it ironic John was originally meant to become a men of letters?). But as it turns out, Americans don’t like to work with others. I think at the time right now this was intented to be seen as a political statement. Also “You're surly, suspicious. You don't play well with others” sounded like they just described Bobby.

It is interesting then that Mary seems to be willing to work with them at the end of the episode. She knows about their resources, she witnessed how easy it was for them to help Sam and Dean, when for 6 weeks she and Cas could do nothing. And she mentioned she had contacts with law enforcement back in her days as a hunter, so she is familiar to work together with help from outside. We know from season 6 and Samuel Campell that the Campells worked way more professional than the Winchesters did/do. They knew about stuff like a cure for vampires and seemed more organized. Then again the whole family had been hunters for generations, so this had probably evolved naturally over time. I think there was also some speculation some time ago if the Campells were one of the elite hunters the MoL worked together with before they got wiped out. Mary believed them to be a hunter’s myth, but maybe they just never told her. Point is Mary has a different hunter background then Sam and Dean, which is why she considers to work with the British MoL. She is in that regard more like Sam, who seemed to consider working with them as an option as well. But it really seems to me like this might be a deal with the devil, which kinda makes it ironic Mary refused to work with Crowley.

And at last: Mr. Ketch didn’t know the Winchesters were up against Lucifer. The special egg he gave them was against any form of possession, demon or angel, but what if an archangel was one of the few things where it didn’t work a hundred percent? Just like the Colt could almost kill everything, but no archangels. I think the POTUS is devil-free, I’m just not willing to believe Lucifer is reeally gone (as in back to hell/the cage), and Mr. Ketch might know this.

The Winchesters

Well, mostly Mary. The more we see of her, the more I fall in love with Sam Smith tbh. Anyway. We first see her back in Lawrence, which kinda makes sense, as she lived there, had her home there (that still excists... did she visit it?), but also wouldn’t there be people who remember her and regocnize her? But then Cas calls her, proofing once again he is not a man of many words. I didn’t like Mary blaming Cas for what happened, when it was clearly the fault of the bad writing of the dreaded duo in 12x08. She later apologizes, so there is that at least. 

It’s nice the show didn’t forget about Alicia and Max and that appreantly Dean gave them his number (where are all the Dean/Max fics?) and they ask for help. It is the first connection to 12x06. And Mary just picks up where her sons left off, takes over their responsibility. It is a nice twist when it comes to a legacy in a way, with the mother continuing the work of her sons, when it is usually the other way around. It also yet again shows us why hunters hardly ever get out of the life: because the evil is still out there. And they still feel responsible for it. Because if they don’t kill the monsters who will? And sure the world didn’t end just because Sam and Dean were no longer there, but innocent people still died. They might have saved the world a couple of times as well, but what they do on a everyday base is so important as well, and this episode just reminded us of that. They make the world a better place every day. They save it every day.

I liked the way Mary and Cas worked together, and it would have been great to see him accept her offer to hunt together. But Dabb promised us more of Mary and Cas this season, with Cas becoming Mary’s (only) friend, so we might see them as a hunter duo in the near future. Fingers crossed.

And this brings us to the heaviest emotional scene of the episode. I was kinda right with my speculation about it. Mary was willing to sacrifice herself, saying goodbye with her “I love you”, with Sam and Dean witnessing it. And Cas kinda talked her out of it. This is the second connection to 12x06. Not only because Billie reappeared, but as it continued the theme of Mary feeling suicidal. In 12x06 it was clear she felt like she didn’t belong, and she was wondering if it wouldn’t be better if she died again, restoring the natural order again. Here she seems to be at peace with her death as well, as if she accepts she shouldn’t have come back in the first place. Of course we have to see her sacrifice in the context of doing this so her sons would live. It is the ultimate sacrifice, based on the uncondional love of a parent to their child. And of course we have seen it before. In 1x01 Mary died protecting Sam. In 2x01 John died saving Dean. So it is up to debatte if Mary really wanted to die, or if she just did it out of love. But after 12x06 it is the second time we see Mary considering dying again. So I think there is a fair chance this theme pops up a third time, with either Mary dying or (hopefully) declaring once and for all that she keeps on wanting to live.

As for the other Winchesters (Sam & Dean): of course they made a deal. In case of emergency make a deal. Of course it would have resulted in one of them sacrificing themselves. And you can bet they would have fight which one of them should die, with both screaming “me, me”. I’m glad we didn’t get there. But with Dean’s voice over from 12x06 (Dabb really liked that episode) in the “Then” segement, saying people like them don’t live to get 90, we are once again reminded they don’t believe in their own happy end. Which makes the end of this episode even better. Speaking of.

Castiel

Now, I hate to say this, but this is the part that bugged me. Not Cas per se (never Cas), but how the episode treate/portrayed him. Because seriously did they forget he is an angel? I’m all for human!Cas and hunter!Cas, but so far he is neither. And I can’t believe that Cas with all his powers, like telling people what to do as demonstrated in 12x08, couldn’t gain more information. It feels like they needed to create a situation where they had to ask the British MoL for help, and the only way to do so was downplaying Cas’s powers. I’m also not willing to believe Cas would have been such a failure as a hunter. His people skills aren’t that rusty anymore and I dunno, don’t have angels other powers to track down monsters? If anything I think this is a big build up to Cas current arc where he asks where he belongs. Without Sam and Dean he just falls apart. And yet, he won’t hunt with Mary. And after they are all reunited (and all the hugs... seriously I loved this so much), he looks at Mary and her sons and once again it looks like he feels he has no place in this family. And yet it was Cas who Dean immediately called after they got out. Though I wonder why Dean called for Bilie but didn’t pray for Cas? Because he knew it would have been of no use, as he didn’t know where they were and Cas had no means to locate them? Still, we can bet there was a lot of longing. And it kinda messes again with the whole reapers are angels thing. If all angels lost their wings in the fall at the end of season 8 why could Billie still appear in the cell? Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, going back on the Destiel train (as if I ever left), probably my favourite moment in the episode: the way Dean looked at Cas in the car right before Billie appeared, because he knew it might be his last time. Be still my beating heart. (Also Dean and Cas casually sitting in the back of the car, secretly holding hands)

And then Cas kills Billie and breaks the deal, and guys this is so huge. Because we have this long tradition/pattern of Winchesters making deals and sacrificing themselves for each other and Cas just won’t have it anymore. He rips up the pages and burns the whole script, so to say. And just:

What had to be done. You know this world, this sad, doomed little world, it needs you. It needs every last Winchester it can get, and I will not let you die. I won't let any of you die. And I won't let you sacrifice yourselves. You mean too much to me, to everything. Yeah, you made a deal. You made a stupid deal, and I broke it. You're welcome. 

He chooses them. They are his family. They are his everything. Cas might wonder where he belongs, but he just answered this to himself. To them. His family. *cries*
