Idek if this qualifies as a drabble I'm still trying to figure out the differences even after being on this app for over a year… ALSO MY FIRST TIME WRITING FOR VOX SO I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!

Vox probably first met you in an Overlord meeting.

At first, he paid no mind to the new presence, assuming you were just another new face that may fall before too long.

But he was just delighted to find out you would last long enough to make a memorable impression.

Even if that memorable impression was you literally tearing off a chunk of your own flesh to pass it over to Rosie sitting next to you after the woman had quietly stated that she was growing hungry.

“Oh, it will grow back.” God damn. No wonder you've managed to last.

Since then, he's been keeping an eye out on you. With you being able to regenerate and be unfazed by losing parts of your physical body- which, you only get one of btw- he deemed you a possible strong opponent. (or a great ally)

He started to keep tabs on you, as one does. This was how he found out just how you quickly rose through the ranks.

He would be wary of you, but he wouldn't outright avoid you like he tries does to do with Alastor.

One time he was doing some stalk-scrolling, and saw a video of you literally shedding your skin and your skeleton turning toward the camera before the video cut.

His expression after seeing that was a silent eyebrow raise in quiet shock. Your little regeneration thing you had going on- he didn't know it could go to that extent.

After seeing that- there's a 50/50 chance that he’ll either bring it up in hopes of maybe blackmailing you to get you on his side (most overlords do not enjoy the fact that someone knows how they kill) or just stare at you in silence during the next overlord meeting. Kinda hoping you'd just shed your skin.

But deep down he knows the latter won't happen.

He’ll just have to chat with you himself. Who knows, maybe you'll become a valuable asset.

「 📺Preparations for this eventful day had taken weeks ( with a little time put aside to find that relic a suitable, disruptable gift ). Their lounge room was decorated with no expense spared. Golden tassels littered the perimeter. Mistletoe is hung from the doorway. Their tree stands tall with various ornaments and decorations satisfying each of the three Overlord's tastes. He's allowed Val and Vel free reign over it all and contributed where he was needed. This time of year in hell was busy and their business was booming with suckers lining up to purchase the latest gadgets. But with the little time he has, he meets his other halves.

As requested, he changed into the Santa outfit ( beard and all ). When he enters the room, the other two observe and break out in laughter. ❝ Ugh, fuck you. You both wanted this. ❞ He reminds them as he makes his way to the sofa, inserting himself in the middle of them both.

📱❝ Oh relax, Vox. We're only teasing. ❞ She gets off of the sofa and fetches two wrapped gifts from under the tree. They're held out to the others before her hands rest at her sides. ❝ Well, come on. Open them already. ❞ She impatiently waits for them to tear through the paper and see what's beneath. She's put a lot of thought into these gifts. She's made quite a few more. As if she'd only give them each one thing. Hilarious! These were her idiots and she would spoil them. Val is the first to open his. Both of these specific gifts are nightwear. Specially made by her. Val's is gorgeous I'm about to kill my husband's robe. A beautiful sequin pink with gold flakes in all of the right places. And since Val loved to remind them of how sexy he was, she made it transparent for his convenience.

Vox's, on the other hand, had them cackling. It was the oldest old man's nightgown. Despite seeming like a joke, she considered the time he lived and the fact that he already had one or two of these. It even came with a lovely nightcap. She considered his colors carefully. ❝ They're both perfect, I know. Made by yours truly. You're welcome. ❞ She returned to her phone for the time being, quite pleased with the gifts.

📺❝ Yes, Vel, that was enticing~ ❞ He looks over at Val, quite interested in that robe, which causes Vel to roll her eyes. ❝ But it's my turn now. ❞ He sits down and pats his lap, waiting for Val to sit in it like the good boy he is. ❝ Did you look outside yet That new, shiny expensive car is yours. Driver included. He'll take you anywhere you want to go. Daddy did good, didn't he? ❞ Among his gifts for Val were new clothes ( with Velvette's help ), accessories, and a special pair of lingerie he picked out himself. Of course, Vel would get her gifts too, but later since she was more interested in something or someone on her phone.

His claws curled over the moth's lower back as he smirked. He had done his best to find the most suitable gifts for these two. After all, they meant more to him than others ( though Alastor liked to creep his way into his mind ). These two helped his empire grow. They were a team that each played an integral part in his design. And the least he could do was spoil them. They worked so hard and were on their way to basically running hell. ❝ While I give Velvette her gift, go to your room. We aren't finished yet. ❞

When Val did, he would see the bed littered with decorative gold rose petals. A lovely aroma came from the sheets to further the erotic, yet relaxing scent. But the rose petals created a trail towards the luxury bathroom. The oversized tub had dozens of those petals floating in the water. The color changed from the oils that were good for one's skin. In the moth's presence, music started to play before Vox joined him. ❝ Velvette isn't joining us, unsurprisingly. She has other plans, so you and I have the entire place to ourselves. And we can do whatever the fuck we want. And what I want is to pamper you. ❞ He helped Val inside the tub before entering himself. Kitty brought them a bottle of aged wine that Vox had saved for a special occasion. With their glasses filled, the tech demon dimmed the lights.

❝ Is there anything special you want to do, Val? For today, my schedule is clear. ❞ He swirled the liquid around in the glass. ❝ Maybe you could give me a little show with all the new clothes Velvette gave you. And we can follow it all up with a candlelit dinner. Anything you want. ❞ A slight smile before he downed the glass and moved closer to Val. ❝ We're gonna make this a night to remember. ❞   」
