-Jaws were dropped all around, the match lasted less than 30 seconds!! Before the crowds went wild, seeing that you had won so easily.

-Many were angry, demanding to know about that ability of yours, but since you came to Valhalla with it, after you died, it was a part of you, so you were allowed to use it according to the rules.

-You lifted a hand to your lips, breathing out lightly before brushing your hair back over your shoulder, instantly getting everyone blushing hard again, “No matter what I do, the world will always forgive me! Why’s that? That’s right, it’s because I am beautiful!”

-Your giant ego was shocking for so many; you were so arrogant! But those who tried to be angry with you couldn’t help but look at you in adoration, you were truly so beautiful, they couldn’t stay mad at you.

-You then heard a voice call out, “Y/N!” gazes turned to a man who was smiling brightly, waving at you, many in shock that he called to you so casually as he ran over, entering the arena.

-Jaws dropped as he took your hands, “You did it! You were amazing!” but your reaction was even more shocking as you instantly flushed, pulling away as you held your cheeks, turning from him, looking like a shy teenager!

-Qin Shi Huang-  He adored you, you were a ruler just like him and he admired that you created an island nation of nothing but women, to keep them safe and raised them all to be fierce warriors. He was a little oblivious to your reactions around him, when you would get shy and flustered, not seeing it how others saw it, seeing how cute you acted. Many were jealous that he had managed to get to you first, but that was something that drew you to him, he didn’t treat you like an object or a prize to be won, he treated you as a person, he treated you like the empress you were. When he would praise you, others around you couldn’t help but watch you scurry back behind a pillar, hiding and holding your bright red face, your voice coming out a bit higher in pitch. You really were too cute.

-Kojiro- Jaws were dropped all around, how did Kojiro get you?! They all turned to stone in shock when Kojiro hugged you, picking you up easily and spinning you around, “I’m so proud of you Y/N! But I knew you were going to win! You’re the best!” your hands came to your mouth as a sharp gasp escaped you, a flush taking over your full head, thinking to yourself, ‘Is this- is this a proposal?!’ your thoughts immediately went to your wedding with Kojiro as he beamed up at you. Kojiro held your hand, not paying any attention to your flustered self as he led you backstage. Kojiro treated you like a ruler, you were an empress and a warrior, you were not someone to be taken lightly, and his laid back, friendly nature, just seemed to draw you to him. If these people had no mercy on Koala when she was a young and innocent girl, much less will they have mercy on you, a grown and obviously attractive woman (you are Boa Hancock's lover, you can't be ugly, no matter how you look, if you caught the attention of the pirate empress, you will obviously catch the attention of these bastards)

When the Pirate Empress finds you, you'll either be on the verge of death or begging for it. In fact, the latter hurts more, since you'll be begging your beloved to please end your misery, and Hancock, understanding what you've been through and seeing how much they've hurt you (how cruel those sons of **** were to you), with tears in her eyes and her soul being torn apart every second, out of love, she'll take your life and send you to rest forever while the poor woman gains yet another trauma

After an agonizing scream that sounds like that of a demon or a banshee, the pirate empress will go into berserker mode and kill everything that gets in her way, there are no friends or allies in her eyes, there is only pain and she will continue to fight until she is knocked out (which will be almost impossible at that point) or because she dies spontaneously from broken heart syndrome, since we all know how emotional she is, losing her darling is basically dying for her.

It can be your family, privacy, health EVERYTHING that can make you vulnerable if someone knows this. We all know how people use informations to break you. So be mindful

Take care of yourself - she’s known for her beauty. But I want to talk on a the mental level. Boa knows that she’s beautiful but how she sees herself is also important. First of all, she is a captain so she has that leader aura. If she’s feels bad her crew will feel bad too. Also, she doesn’t speak for nothing, she’s always relax. I don't think that people don’t realize that aura is something not visible, so you have to work on what it’s inside of you. It’s all about how you carry yourself. Take yourself seriously and other people will.

→ On the physical part, it all up to you. Do things that make YOU feel good. Do not follow everybody routine. The basics are your skin, hair, your teeth and how you smell. Also you have to know what looks good on you. Basic things such as color theory, face shape and body types. Hancock was the first woman to introduce me the power of beauty privilege and she’s right. Nobody can lie on this. Being pretty is life on easy mode. This is so sad but this is the reality. So know your attributes and enhance it. If you don't like something about you change it. Find why you don't like it and change it.

Which seducer you are ? See, Hancock knows that she’s pretty, so she can play with that (this is litteraly her power so basically if she don’t make someone fall in over with her it’s over). Know which seducer you are. There is a really good book I bet that you know it this is the art of seduction ( I can do each archetype if you want). I’m pretty sure that Hancock is a siren with a mix of the boss. I highly recommend you to know who you are no one can't resist at your charm.

Make sure to know who loves you for who you are. People have to like you for who you are even when they know your past/vulnerable things. Hancock is in love with Luffy because he likes her as an human. Not because of her beauty, not because she’s the captain but because he genuinely loves her as a person. So be careful of people who want to use you for what you can do. It means that you also need a good circle with people that you can relay on. Hancock has her sisters.

Last but not least I think this is obvious, be confident AND most importantly have self esteem. Self esteem saves you from bad situations because if you love yourself you cannot make bad decision for yourself. Remember that you deserve the finest things in this life. To be confident (like real confidence), you have to prove yourself things, that it. Things like to go to gym regularly, being able to make a compliment to strangers, no screen time thirty mins before bed. Because when you see yourself doing things like that, you trust yourself and THEN you are confident. I don’t like the « fake it until you make it » because when you fake you KNOW that this FAKE (God I hate those gurus when they say that, Confidence is not only that. i found you through your boa hancock video. when i watched it, i teared up, because the way you talked about her story was so understanding and emphasized all the parts of her i love. it felt like you fully understood her character. i really connect with boa and she’s my favorite out of all the one piece girls. as a survivor of sexual assault, boa’s internalized guilt over something she couldn’t control and the way she overcompensates in her actions is something i relate to. you described her so well in your video and it was refreshing to see someone else with a different opinion of her. i’ve seen so many times people reducing her character into only the bad parts. that she’s only there to support luffy or that she’s annoying and it hurts. she deserves to experience romance, whether it’s reciprocated or not, and she deserves to be a bit excessive. that’s what i love about her!! she’s dramatic and unapologetic. it’s the best!!!!! it’s important to talk about characters like her and to see survivors as more than just that, but as people, who do or say ridiculous things. i’m sorry to turn this into a boa hancock rant i just love her a lot and your video on her was amazing.

!!! Thank you so much!! This all means a lot to me truly, and I’m so happy I reached so many people with that Boa video. She really touched my heart the way she touched yours, and one of the reasons I made it is because I couldn’t stand how people saw her as this detestable, annoying being for her surface level actions.

I’m also truly sorry for what happened to you anon, and that was another reason Boa being perceived the way she did upset me so much. Because I could see exactly what her story was supposed to portray, and more than anything I wanted people to understand she IS a victim and her stone mask is due to that lack of empathy she never received. While Boa is a comical character, how she processes her trauma and what she feels is so painfully realistic, and I felt there must be a pain some real life people who relate to her would feel in seeing how Boa is hated by a fair chunk of fans.

But of course, anyone is free to dislike Boa! I just want everyone to have more of an understanding of her, and I really am so happy my essay on her spoke to you. We can really learn empathy through what we watch sometimes, and Boa’s story made my heart hurt so much that it truly taught me a lot in terms of how trauma can shape a person.

What Pet/s I Think The Fo4 Companions Would Have

(Consider this a modern AU situation I guess, so they have access to all of these animals and their proper care).

Ada: Had a lot of trouble deciding what kind of pet/s she wanted. Exposed herself and learnt about all sorts of animals, hoping one would stick out to her but they all seemed so cool and neat. She eventually settled on keeping bugs and insects of all kinds. She often keeps their wings and exoskeletons and even taxidermies them if they are in good nick post-mortem. 

Cait: A rabbit. It’s really hyper and either wants its space and will nip you to leave it alone, or will circle and hop and stomp to get your attention so that you pet it and keep petting it until the bunny is done with you and not the other way around. 

Codsworth: Some type of small, fancy dog. It’s show quality and very well trained. 

Curie: Mice! Multiple cages of them, seperated by sex and age and all sorts, just like a whole wall taken up by cages and stuff for their care. Yes they are lab mice and she runs tests on them but she is humane and she names them and plays with them and gives them loads of treats. 

Danse: Failed K-9 unit. Just a good fluffy boi. He takes it on his morning runs and to play in the park every day. It may have flunked out but it still had quite a bit of training, and still alerts to Hancock when he’s around. 

Deacon: Two or three very highly trained rats. 

John Hancock: A sphynx cat of course. Yes it has a whole wardrobe for itself. Hancock does matching outfits and costumes with it. 

Nick Valentine: An old dog he rescued from a shelter. He specifically wanted an older dog to give them a chance at a comfortable home at the end of their life, and he doesn’t need to worry so much about his work keeping him from being able to walk the old guy all the time since it doesn’t need it. He gets to scritch its head infront of the fire while he goes over cases. 

Old Longfellow: A bully breed dog. It’s a chubby lapdog that toddles after him wherever he goes and he feeds it a lot of fish, which it loves. 

Piper Wright: A grouchy old cat that she doesn’t seem to get along with. Honestly it’s more Nat’s pet than hers. It just walked in all scraggly from the street one day and they fed it and now it lives with them. She bad talks it all the time but she loves it and will give it treats and try to get it to play with toys even though it doesn’t seem to want to. 

Porter Gage: Several snakes and lizards of all kinds. Particularly fond of his iguana and large boa. 

Preston Garvey: A dove/pigeon. He found it injured outside and took it in to get it fixed up, found out they make fantastic pets and kept it. It's very social to people and coos along when he hums. 

RJ MacCready: Recently got a puppy for Duncan, hasn’t owned a pet before and is tripping over himself learning about care and training and how to potty train it. Thinks he should have gone with a couple of guinea pigs instead, but it’s too late now, Duncan loves his dog. 

Strong: Doesn’t own a pet himself but is carefully exposed to other peoples pets. He enjoys livestock / larger animals. Thinks the best pet would be the kind you could eat if you needed / wanted to. 

X6-88: Multiple cats. He is the crazy cat goth. They just get him, okay. He has some sort of foster deal with a shelter, where he gets the excess cats they can’t fit. They all have stupid names because he doesn’t change what the shelter staff called them, so he has cats like ‘Mr Tiggles’ and ‘Isaac Mewton’ wandering around.

Doffy has his moments where he will get a kick out of seeing you cry, will literally tease you to the point of tears falling down your face and he’ll just chuckle, put you in his lap, cooing at how weak you are. It feeds his ego that you need him and he has to protect you, even if he is the reason you cry sometimes-

On the other hand, seeing you cry can get annoying, not the crying itself, but rather the memories they evoke out of him. The screams and tears of his brother after he shot their father, the feelings of inadequacy and powerless as he’s tied to a building for all to see. In his own words, he will give you something to really cry over if you don’t knock it off. 

Now let’s say for humor sake, you really did want to pet this animal and you cried for it, Doffy will let you, only if you ask nicely and promise to be good for the rest of the day. He likes to see you beg and ask nicely, like the good little thing you are, and what better way to reward a pet is with a pet itself. Don’t take his kindness for granted though, or you might not have a pet anymore.

If someone makes you cry, prepare for that person to be strung alive, you’re his pet and only he can make you cry, right? Don’t let other people get to you, or he’ll get jealous and teach you a lesson in who owns you.

Boa Hancock

Boa will do her best to baby you, whenever she sees a single tear fall, you are wrapped in her arms and your head in her chest. Due to seeing her as a delusional yandere, she would even coo you as you cry to be released, in her mind you’re just scared and need time, so she will do her best to comfort you.

She will not accept others to treat you badly, not just because she values you as a lover, but also due to her own past as a slave. No one has a right to look down on her or her lover, you two are equal in her eyes and she will do whatever she has to, to prove it.

Since her love language is physical love, be prepared for kisses and hugs when you cry, even when you don’t cry she will find a way to touch you. She’ll wipe your tears away, telling you how much she loves you and how beautiful you are while promising to make sure no one hurts you or takes you away from her.

Will definitely buy you any pet you want, hell anything you want. She is a spoiler by nature, not being able to have those things growing up, so she wants you to never go without. She’s not the type to take away either, hoping on your own terms you will fall for her and love her just as much as she loves you. 

Borsalino “Kizaru”

Kizaru is rather an interesting yandere, he’s an interesting person in general with his grey moral compass. I believe he is a type who likes a challenge and prefers a lover (if you could call them that-) who keeps him on his toes. He sees you more as entertainment then a person, so doesn’t mind the tears or feels bad for you.

Crying after an escape would be a very common occurrence between the two of you, bonding if you will. He’ll just tie you back up and wish you good luck next time around before going about his day. Almost excited what new way you will try to sneak out tomorrow.

He will not give you a pet or let you pet an animal, unless you get him on a good day and ask nicely, but even then he might just tease you. Again, this man won’t see you as a lover, or even a person, you are entertainment until he gets bored of you. 

Will keep you around mostly for the crying and resistance, if you manage to finally fall for him in some Stockholm Syndrome kind of way, I feel he might distance himself or get rid of you all together. He just likes a challenge, don’t try to make it something else.

Summary : continuation of life with the straw hats, as a teen. This time, they will get you to open up! >:)

Nami’s sing-song voice fills the room as boys stare in surprise at the sudden appearance of the two girls and their younger crewmate.

You felt a little uneasy in the presence of the crew, their eyes lingering on you as you shifted you weight.

“Er.. im sorry for.. staying in my room a lot.. and.. for.. making you worry..”

Even though Nami already explained the reasoning for your actions, you still felt the need to apologize. However, when it continues to be silent, you feel yourself fidgeting with the hem of your shirt.

Then your Captain spoke. Well, laughed.

“Shishishishi!~”

Everyone turns to Luffy, who is grinning widely. “Apology accepted! Who knew you were just shy the whole time? We assumed you didn’t like us! Shishishi!”

Your eyes widen at him and you felt an embarrassed blush creeping up onto your cheeks as you look down to hide it. “I-I’m sorry.”

Robin places a gentle hand on your shoulder and smiles softly to the crew. “Well, now that we know the truth, why don’t you spend the rest of the day with us? One by one.”

“I like that idea.” Nami grins before glancing down at you. “Well? Who do you want to spend time with first, [Name]?”

You blink at her before looking around to see them staring expectantly at you, offering rather kind smiles to you, patiently waiting for an answer.

“..I don’t know..”

The others deadpan and sweatdropped at your response before Nami sighs softly. “That makes sense, you wouldn’t know where to start.”

Nami then grins. “Then, I’ll volunteer and go first! Sound good? No complaints? Great!”

“Hey! How come you get to go first and show [Name] stuff?!” Usopp points a finger at the navigator, narrowing his eyes as he frowns.

Nami simply sticks out her tongue and gave a childish expression. “Because I volunteered! Now let’s go, [Name]!”

Dragging you away with the pull of your hand, Nami pulls you off towards the aqua lounge despite the many protests, complaints and calls after her.

“W-wait, is this a good idea?.. I don’t—“

“Of course it is. You want to spend time with us don’t you?” The navigator smiles once you two enter and shut the door.

Now it was just the two of you, in the lounge.

“Well..” you trail off, still feeling awkward and perhaps a little bit nervous about all of this.

It was pretty sudden after all, just minutes ago you were in bed reading a book and now, you’re playing play date with your crew members.

Nami softens her smile and went over to the couch and took a seat, patting the spot beside her.

“I know this is a lot. We don’t have to do much but talk, and maybe get you to open up a little more. Tell me about yourself!”

Hesitantly, you nod and walk closer towards her, before sitting down beside her, turning your body to face her.

“...what do you wanna know?..” you mumble, Nami barely catching it but still heard it anyways.

“Anything about yourself. Your family, your life before you became a pirate, your favorite foods, hobbies, any crushes you might’ve picked up along our journey~” the navigator winks at you making you blush faintly at her, turning away with a sigh.

“I don’t have any of the sort.” You scoff lightly, closing your eyes but Nami wasn’t convinced. “Oh?”

“What about that pink haired marine? Koby, wasn’t it?”

You snap your head to her quickly, brows furrowed.

“Koby? Marine Captain Koby? I’ve hardly met him. Besides, he’s a marine. Even if I did like him, it wouldn’t work out anyways.”

You turn away once more, Nami grinning at how quick you responded and how much you talked just now.

“If Koby wasn’t a marine, would you date him?” Nami hums and you kept silent, though the red hue forming on the tips of your ears were enough for her.

“..he’s attractive.” You mutter and Nami giggles.

“Okay, okay, so then, how about any of the older men we met? Traffy isn’t that much older.” She thinks for a minute, her thumb and forefinger under her chin.

You raise a brow at her question. “You mean the Captain / doctor?.. Law?.. he seems.. really annoyed easily. He’s so frowny and never sleeps.”

“Not much different from someone else..” Nami sings under her breath making you playfully roll your eyes.

“I wouldn’t go for him either. He’s attractive, I guess, but... no. I think the fact that I’m in Luffy’s crew too, he might be pretty annoyed already.”

“I think it’s just Luffy in general.” Nami sighs and you smile a bit at that.

“Okay, how about that red haired one? Eustass “Captain” Kid?”

“Too violent.”

“Ace or Sabo?”

“Luffy’s brothers.”

“Perona? The Ghost Princess?”

“I don’t like her ghosts.”

“Vivi?”

“She’s gorgeous and rich, but no.”

“Tashigi?”

“She’s into Zoro.”

“Anyone from our crew?”

“We’re family.”

“Buggy?”

“You’re kidding, right?”

“Any of Sanji’s brothers?”

“They have no emotions.”

“Silvers Rayleigh?”

“A silver fox, but no.”

“Izo is absolutely stunning .. and Marco seems really nice, I guess.. but no.”

“That empress, Boa Hancock?”

“She’s too into Luffy..”

Nami heaves a sigh as she leans back and crosses her legs, one over the other.

“So the closest one to your attraction.. is Koby.”

You shrug and smile slightly at her defeated look. “I’m not really into anyone...”

“Perhaps you’re just young. You’ll definitely be growing in some..” The orange haired female eyes your body for a good minute, making you shift. “..areas real soon.”

“Right.. what about you?”

“Huh?”

You shift in your seat and made yourself comfortable on the cushion. “Is there someone you like?..”

Nami blinks before looking up and thinking for a moment. “..I guess there isn’t.” She answers and you raise a brow. “I thought you like Luffy..”

The navigator seems offended at the statement, recoiling at the thought. “Luffy’s a huge pain in the ass. And besides, like you said, we’re a family.”

The corner of your lips tug upwards slightly. “And Vivi?”

This shut the female quick, and you can see the pink tint of her cheeks. “Vivi’s a friend.”

“Well, that friend, most likely shares the same feelings.” You hum, looking straight at her calmly. “I mean.. you’re very beautiful. Everyone would love you.”

Nami’s eyes widens at the unexpected compliment from you, her heart feeling warm at that, but you didn’t notice.

You didn’t realize how much you ended up talking, your voice felt dry and sore in a way. Though for some reason, you didn’t mind.

You kind of enjoyed this time with Nami, despite only talking about possible crushes of yours.

Instinctively, you rub your throat and Nami notices, standing up and offering her hand. “Come on, we can talk more later. You’ve talked enough, I’ll take you to Sanji.”

“Are you sure? I figured you’d want to spend more time together..” you clear your throat and Nami just smiles gently.

“We have everyday to do so. Besides, I’m sure it’s been a while since you talked so much so I’m happy enough with what you gave me.” Nami says, helping you up and began leading you out.

“Time for you to spend time with someone else, and don’t worry, I’ll make sure the others don’t force you to talk and Sanji makes you something to help your throat.” She assures, making her way back to the kitchen, which didn’t take long.

“O-okay..” you nod, eventually making it to the door and Nami just opens it up, seeing only a few of the members, so some must’ve left.

The four in the room look up at the door and find you, instantly smiling at the sight of your form.

“Already done?” Chopper questions in confusion and Nami smiles. “I would’ve spent more time with them but there’s so many of us, so we should make it short and easy for them for today.”

Robin, Brook, Chopper and Sanji nod in agreement at their navigator and Robin smiles gently.

“So, who would you like to spend time with next?”

Nami nudges you to speak in front of them and you turn to Sanji.

“Uh..Er.. Is it okay if I spend some time with you?..”

Sanji widens his eyes, clearly a bit surprised but nonetheless, smiles in joy. “Of course, [Name]-chan!”

Nami then ushers the others out, the only one to sulk being Brook but Nami was quick to slap his skull.

The door shut closed and you awkwardly stood there, shifting your weight. You never spent much time with them, despite fighting battles alongside the crew, so you weren’t sure what to do or say.

Sanji, noticing your discomfort, smiles lightly and gestures for you to sit at the counter as he stood behind it, in the kitchen.

“So, [Name]-chan. Is there anything you want to drink?”

You look around the dining room, taking a good look since this was one of the first times actually being in here.

“..Tea?.. my throat kind of hurts...” you mumble, reaching up to rub your throat again and Sanji nods. “I know the perfect thing! Ice or hot?”

“[ Either one ].” You answer, shifting in your seat and making yourself comfortable a bit in the stool and watched as Sanji quickly went to work.

Watching him silently from the counter, you lean on your palm and thought for a minute.

What were you supposed to talk about?

You hardly knew much about them and isolating yourself from them let you absolutely awkward and unsure of what to say or do, so you hoped Sanji would do something.

But the poor blonde cook kept silent, figuring that’s what you’d prefer as he made your drink.

So you had to do it.

“Sanji?..”

The blonde hums gently, letting you know he was listening.

“Uh...so.. what’s for dinner?..”

Sanji stays silent for a moment, taking in the hesitation in your voice before turning around to face you. “.. Anything you want, [Name]-chan. What do you want to eat?”

You ponder a bit at his question before feeling your stomach growling at the thought of a particular food. “..Can you make [ Food ]? It’s from my homeland and.. it’s really good.”

Sanji’s eyes lights up and he grins widely. “I’d be honored to make a dish native to your homeland, [Name]-chan!” He deflates a little bit and leans back. “However.. I’m a little worried I won’t be able to make it as good. I know I have the proper ingredients though, I’m sure.”

Sanji’s been studying on his own time, with the small assistance of Robin, knowing she was also studying up by gathering information from your island.

You offer a small smile as Sanji turns to take the drink he made and set it in front of you. “It’s okay.. I trust that you can make it even better.”

Sanji widens his eyes at the sudden compliment and encouragement, feeling his heart warming towards his younger crew member.

You take the cup in hand and brought it up to your lips, taking a light sip of the beverage.

“I see.. in that case, we shall have [ Food ] for dinner tonight.”

Your smile widens just a little bit at his announcement and you continue drinking before seeing Sanji still staring at you. “What is it?..”

“Would you like to help me?”

You pause in your movement, eyes wide at his question. “You want me to help you? I can’t cook.” You furrow your brows at the suggestion.

I mean, sure you had some BASIC skills, but nothing as extravagant compared to Sanji.

“I’d love to show you! Besides, I’m sure you can also offer me some tips and suggestions on your home dish.” Sanji grins assuringly, bringing a small, comforted smile to your lips.

“Okay.”

And so, after handing you a spare apron and letting you prepare yourself as he got the ingredients set, the two of you got to work.

Sanji moving towards the cutting board, you point to the vegetables set out by him.

“You should start cutting these up.. they should be bite-sized.” You inform, Sanji nodding and quickly cutting up the given ingredients with ease.

While Sanji finished with that, you began to look for the pots and pans and after finding what you needed, you did what you needed, ( whether it’s boiling water, filling a skillet with oil, etc. ) and set it onto the stove to heat.

“[Name]-chan, I can handle the stove. I don’t want you to accidentally burn yourself with the fire or the oil, so I’ll leave the cutting and mixing up to you.”

Nodding your head, you move aside and let him take your place before moving towards the cutting board.

‘.. how can you cut vegetables so beautifully?..’ you sweatdrop and began preparing what you needed to do before looking around.

Your eyes widen a little in remembrance and realization and you set the items down before heading to the rice cooker. You open the lid and find the pot empty and pulled it out, looking for the rice grains.

It didn’t take long to find it, fortunately, so you began to put in a few cups, and with the amount of food you were bound to make for Luffy, more than four was needed, obviously.

You did what you needed to, plopping the pot back into the cooker to cook the rice before going to the cutting board.

“Sanji, should we.. cook the meat first or cut it first?..” You trail off, unsure yourself as you went over to the fridge to find the meat.

The blonde cook ponders for a second before speaking. “It’ll be best if we cut first, so we can cook it all a lot quicker.” You merely nod in response as you pull out the required meats and brought it over to a new cutting board set up.

“Do you know how to cut them?” Sanji inquires, turning to you, which you nod in response. “I mean.. it’s just cutting it into smaller pieces. Right?..”

Sanji chuckles. “Yeah, in a way..” He lowers the flame on the stove so the oil/water can sit before moving to your side. “Here, let me show you.”

And so, with another cutting board and knife, he teaches you the correct and efficient technique, explaining which parts to throw and which parts to save.

“And then you cut them up into this size and set it aside to use. Did that make sense?” You nod at him, making him smile as he returns back to the stove.

Prepping yourself, you began to cut the meats into bite sized pieces, getting rid of the unnecessary parts and discarding them into the trash, exactly like Sanji had explained to you.

‘This feels nice.. cooking with Sanji.. even if we aren’t talking, it’s kind of, comfortable..’

The tiny curve of your lips move upwards as you thought silently, but distracted thoughts flooded your head as you no longer became focused on cutting.

‘Maybe, I should ask to cook with him more often.. it’ll be great to learn and spend more bonding time with him.’

You were so lost in thoughts, you forgot what you were doing and suddenly hissed in pain.

The sound was loud enough to catch Sanji’s ears as he widens his eyes and turns in a panic. “[Name]-chan! Are you alright?”

“Yeah, just a cut..” you poke at the blood, watching it drip down a bit quickly. ‘Guess I cut more of my skin than I think, by the looks of it..’ you frown.

“Let���s get you to Chopper.”

“H-Huh?.. but I’m fi-“

Sanji wastes no time to pick you up, as if you broken an ankle, and began carrying you over to the medical office.

An inaudible sigh escapes you, you relaxing in defeat as you thought about the medical office.

Sure, you’ve hurt yourself plenty of times before, nothing too fatal but enough to need patching up from Chopper. You were always up and out of the office pretty quickly, so you were curious to what the room even looked like.

“Chopper.”

Sanji knocks twice before opening the door with ease and walks in, seeing the little reindeer at his desk. “Sanji, [Name]! Something wrong?” The chirpy reindeer asks, a smile wide on his face.

“[Name]-chan’s hurt.” Sanji explains briefly, setting you down gently onto the bed and you turn to the little doctor.

“It’s just a cut.” You bluntly state, showing your finger and Chopper smiles lightly. “Nothing serious, at least! We should go wash and get it bandaged before an infection comes though.”

You nod and stand back up to head to the sink in the office, Sanji offering a weak smile. “I’m sorry, [Name]-chan. You got hurt because—“

“Huh?” As you stop in your tracks and turn back to face the blonde, you peer up a bit and shake your head. “It’s not your fault... I just got lost in my thoughts.” You murmured out, turning away.

You turn back to the sink and began washing your hands. “You should keep cooking, Sanji.. I look forward to you making [ food ].” You sneak a glance back at Sanji and held a ghost of a smile to him. “Cheer up, okay?”

Sanji widens his eyes at your expression, before he lets out a relaxed smile and light chuckle. “Yeah.. I’ll get to it then.”

With that, the chef left you alone with Chopper, who returns with his supplies.

“All cleaned up? Head on over to the bed and sit again!” Chopper smiles and waddles over to the bed before hopping up onto the edge.

You follow after the tiny man and sat across from him, holding out your finger.

Chopper, who kept silent to focus, began to clean up the cut with alcohol and wrapped your finger into a bandage.

‘Guess now is a good time to spend time with him..’

“So.. you came from Drum Island.. right?..” You internally sigh for being so awkward around them. Thankfully, they didn’t seem to mind.

“Yeah! It’s where I learned to study medicines from Doctorine!” Chopper excitedly claims, looking up from his task, which he finished.

“Doctorine? Oh.. you mean like your guardian?” You prodded at your finger a few times, seeing the wrapped bandage.

“Something like that. She taught me everything I know.” You nod at him and look to him. “Guess she must be a genius, since you know a lot. Right?”

Chopper widens his eyes at the compliment before waving you off with a scoff.

“Flattery doesn’t make me happy at all, don’t think you can fool me so easily~” Chopper sings, blushing as he danced on the bed.

Your eyes held a hint of amusement at Chopper as he calms down. “But you’re right. Doctorine is the best doctor I know.”

“I bet she is.” You stand up and dust your clothes, gesturing to your finger at the doctor.

“Thanks for patching me up, Chopper..” You watch the reindeer put on a wide smile and nods eagerly. “No problem! It’s my job!”

You pat his head lightly and nod, heading to the door. “I’ll get going then, see you later..”

With that, you exited the medical bay and shut the door behind you, wondering what you should do next.

‘Now what?.. Should i go back to Sanji to help?.. or should I find someone else?’

You wandered the upper deck aimlessly before making your way down to the main deck, where you found Usopp fumbling with something.

‘Hm. Usopp..’

You make you way over to the sniper, watching him suddenly jump up and cheer. “Eureka!” He hollers excitedly, startling you.

“Um.. did something.. happen?” You mumble, somewhat cautious as you step towards him.

Usopp jumps in fear when he hears you, before visibly relaxing and grinning determinedly. “Yeah, I finished my creation!”

He holds up his latest work, which seems to be an advanced archery bow.

The bow itself has an attachment that can carry arrows so you don’t require a separate bag, and it’s string seemed much more flexible to allow better accuracy and distance.

“Oh wow, that actually looks really cool..” you quietly awed, eyes widening in interest as Usopp chuckles eagerly.

“Right?! I’ve been working on it to better advance my stealth, since guns can be pretty loud, and slingshots can be tricky sometimes!”

He then smirks down at his bow and arrow in his hands and holds it up, readying an arrow upon the bow and aimed at the can that sat on the railing.

“But these bad boys are tipped with several of my ammo so I don’t need to grab the mini seeds anymore, since these arrows already have the affect!”

Usopp lets go of the arrow and it pierces the can with ease, knocking it into the ocean.

“Woohoo! Alright!” Usopp cheers, laughing hysterically. “Haha! I did it!!” He jumps around in joy, you watching with a slight smile. “Yeah.. you’re a brilliant inventor and sniper after all.”

Usopp pauses, eyes widening as he flushed a bit at the unexpected compliment, before snapping his head to you.

“You want to try, [Name]?” He smiles widely and held out the bow. “I can help you aim if you’d like!”

You thought for a bit before nodding, actually a little bit excited. “Yeah, sure. It looks really cool.”

Usopp felt his pride building up at your words and grins. “It is cool! Here, hold this and I’ll go set up the cans.”

Taking the bow, you inspect it closer with interested eyes. ‘I don’t remember the last time I touched a bow.. did I ever?’

Usopp returns quickly to your side and smiles, pointing to the cans. “Alright, [Name]. Now just hold up the bow, ready the arrow and take aim!”

You nod in understanding, steadying your arms and aimed directly at the center of the cans. Pulling back the arrow, you lined it up into position, going on Usopp’s count.

“Alright, and..... fire!”

You release your hold and watch the arrow shoot straight into the center and knocked itself into the ocean, like Usopp’s.

“I did it!” Your eyes widen and you smile to yourself. “That was awesome!” You turn to Usopp with bright eyes, but Usopp just laughs. “Nice shot!”

Usopp holds up his hands excitedly and you smile softer, hanging the bow onto your arm and high-fived him. “Yeah.”

“You sound like you’re having some SUUUPPERRR~ fun!”

The two of you turn to the source of voice and find Franky grinning at the two of you from below deck.

“Yeah, I just showed [Name] my latest creation and she just made a nice shot with my bow!” Usopp grins and Franky whistles. “Not bad, kid!”

The corner of your lips move upwards, a sheepish expression taking over your face. “Thanks..” you turn back to Franky and spoke. “What are you up to?”

“Ah, fixing something with The Sunny from down here. Almost done but it’s a little difficult, especially since I’m adding a new feature. Wanna check it out?”

You glance to Usopp, who nods that it was okay, and you return the bow, heading to Franky calmly.

“Yeah, sure.”

can I ask what are your thoughts about people on tiktok cancelling oda for being "misogynistic"??? I'm a woman and misogyny is a huge word so I got shocked and see what they were talking about and its about this interview where female fans are complaining about the girls characters design and fanservice and he said he cares more about his male audience thats why. One piece is shounen and is male dominated, and you know how they like the non realistic big boobies and hips though I agree that there's too much fanservice and nami and robin's old design were better. But the fanservice criticism is understandable as a woman I would also like a diverse body image for women like how Isayama creates his fem characters which is chefs kiss. Oda draws them poorly (in my opinion) but I like how THEY ARE WELL WRITTEN. I love their mommy milkers but I agree the new fans or anime watchers who's gonna start watching it might feel uncomfy but setting aside their design THEIR BACKSTORIES ARE GOOD. And he writes Zoro as someone who sees women snd men equal so I don't see how he's misogynistic 😅 Misogynist hates women, Oda doesn't hate women he just said that his target audience are men bc op is shonen after all.

I literally love female characters in op they're well written comparing to other shonen that's the same age as one piece that has the same fan service but the girl is just quirky, submissive and has no personality at all. Like Naruto the women are so poorly written and could've had more potential.

Maybe its because I'm already used with the way he drew them but I really love their timeskip faces, they got more drip before I still love them especially Robin

TW- body image

I’m going to start by saying this is a touchy subject because my body/self-image issues are pretty bad and I don’t like talking about bodies, but I have a lot to say about this specific topic. I do not think Oda is a misogynist, as you said he does write Zoro as someone who views men and women as equal, and a mysoginst wouldn’t do that. he hasn’t done anything in the show that says he hates women, it’s simply his portrayal of them- and more specifically their bodies. that being said, I have a problem with the way he has his female characters look- of course the details and overall animation are amazing, and yes their bodies (especially boobs) are drool worthy, but he could definitely... tone it down a bit. in japan typically are skinny and have low body fat, but the more curvaceous aspect of Oda’s characters are pretty far-fetched. I get why he does it for the men watching, and while that does sound slightly misogynistic, mostly like a stereotypical misogynist, it isn’t- at most it’s sexist. I think that the way the characters look will cause a lot more body image issues in young girls (or just people in general) and that definitely isn’t his plan. it’s giving an unhealthy and unrealistic expectation of women, and maybe more specifically asian women. if he could simply make their boobs a little smaller and overall make their body shapes a little less “perfect” because seriously ALL of them have hourglass bodies except for a few of the villains. and honestly Oda, stop making the glow up so drastically!! Alvida, the large round women who Cody was sailing with when he met Luffy (the very first episodes for reference), was punched by Luffy and flew away, only to show up later and team up with Buggy but she had “glown up” because of Luffy’s punch- she lost all body fat and was left with an hourglass body shape and was then called one of the most beautiful woman in the sea. I mean COME ONE- a fucking punch, Oda?! more statistically speaking, Oda is making his characters follow the beauty standard, I realized this was accurate when Robin’s skin tone changed so drastically as well as Usopp’s, and really all of theirs did- we could have done without that. 

so back to the misogynistic aspect, Oda writes all of his character’s backstories the same, and they’re all awesome. also they typically all show power and fight, if he was a misogynist then I’m willing to bet we owuld get a lot more sorrow and weakness from the females, lots more battles fought exaggeratingly horrible and lost, or always being saved by the men (when in fact some of the men have been saved by the women). while we could do without so much “princess/female needs help saving kingdom/town/something” it’s not too bad. the fanservice is a bit extreme, I hate how they have to show so many bath scenes for the girls and how Nami usually has sideboob/boob in general showing, I find it kind of insulting myself but that’s only my self esteem issues- which I’m sure other people have and feel the same way, so you’re not alone if you do feel that way about it. and when Nami’s boobs tend to pop up from her top, I’m thinking of those scenes in the outfit she wore during the episodes she met Sanji’s brothers. and the fact that when she hugs people their faces go directly into her cleavage doesn’t need to be so drastically pointed out, we don’t need a close up or anything Oda but... thanks? 

one big thing that proves he’s not a misogynist is that a lot of high ranking characters are female; Portgas D. Rouge, Charlotte LinLin (Big Mom), Boa Hancock, Tashigi, Tsuru, Catarina Devon, Alvida, Jewelry Bonney, ect.

he also has a lot of powerful female characters that had large impacts on characters (ex. their mothers) such as: Kuina, Olvia Robin, Bell-mere, Nojiko, Toki, etc.

he also has a number of male characters that are extremely anti-misogynist like Sanji and Zoro as well as Luffy. while Sanji is slightly sexist, he shows no hate towards women, he literally worships them. Zoro and Luffy are much better example because they’re neither sexist or misogynist, neither have any problem fighting a woman. in fact Zoro hates that women are seen as weaker and his whole childhood ass well as life was impacted by Kuina who was trying to prove herself because she was a female and eveyone underestimated her and thought she couldn’t be/wasn’t a swordsman- Zoro expressed his anger at that because he doesn’t see why anyone would think that. and Luffy simply just couldn’t care less about what gender someone is.

so all in all, Oda is not a misogynist, his portrayal of female characters is sexist at most but he is no woman-hater.

Raising a child who was a former slave: Boa Hancock & Perona

Boa Hancock

↳ Considering her own past as an ex-slave, Boa is incredibly sympathetic toward C/N. However, I could see her wanting to take them in but still being hesitant to become their primary caretaker at first.

↳ Boa has spent many years hardening herself, trying to cope with her traumatic past by closing her heart to others and putting on a cold, steely front. But she sees herself in this child: someone hurt, someone afraid of the world around them, someone incredibly vulnerable. It's somewhat uncomfortable for her to be confronted with that– the image of what she (however wrongly) considers to be the weakest and most shameful part of herself.

↳ Boa would bring them into Amazon Lily regardless, though. She is kind underneath everything, and she can't imagine where she and her sisters would be had Rayleigh and the others not extended their help to them all those years ago. If anything, she feels that she needs to pay that debt forward at the very least. The rest will figure itself out later, she supposes.

↳ She starts off awkward as a mother figure though. Boa doesn't really know how to comfort C/N, because she hardly accepted comfort herself in the past. She starts off by just making sure they have everything they need– a warm bed, delicious food, comfortable clothes. She knows that's not everything, though, and she wonders often if she can be the person that this child needs. Surely someone softer than her would have been better suited as their caretaker, right?

↳ So at first, Boa is sort of at a loss. She probably seeks the advice of Gloriosa (for once lol). Slowly, Boa ends up trying to emulate the things that she wishes she had whenever she feels overcome with the burdens of her past. Someone to listen to her, someone to protect her, someone to accept her. It presents a new challenge, because she doesn't quite know how to offer that to someone, so it flusters her and she always feels like she's making things worse for them both. It almost makes her a little hot and cold, but she does her absolute best to reign in the extremes of her temperament for C/N's sake. Her attempts at bonding with them are awkward but deeply sincere, and I think C/N would be able to see that.

↳ Over time, Boa becomes this child's most steadfast protector. I can imagine her letting C/N share her bed with her when their nightmares are particularly difficult (or just every night regardless, if that helps them feel comfier and safer when they sleep). Boa would stroke their back and their hair while they're curled up to her side, and stay awake to guard their rest. This is the queen at her softest; her touch, the look in her eyes, her hushed words of comfort are all so gentle.

↳ Even look at this child wrong and you've burned every bridge in her mind lol. She trusts the Kuja, but not too closely; she'd try to shield C/N from them for a while, especially if they're skittish around strangers, and slowly introduce them to others over time. But other than herself, she can only fully trust her sisters to look after C/N. (Marigold and Sandersonia are the coolest aunties though omg... They're certainly also very sensitive to C/N's situation & want to do their best to make sure they feel protected and secure in the palace. More awkward but well-meaning bonding time.)

↳ Having C/N reaffirmed her choice to became a Warlord. She's glad she could provide them with a place that is safe from the World Government– C/N deserves that solace after everything they've been through, and having her skin crawl whenever she's called to work as the WG's ally is a small price to pay for it.

Perona

↳ She's kind of messy about it at first ngl. Perona is, admittedly, not the most mature person. She probably ended up with the child without intending to adopt them... Like it was very much a thing where they got forced into a situation together, she grew attached without realizing it, and somehow they're just... a duo now.

↳ C/N probably would warm on her quickly, since they're quiet and not very chatty, and Perona doesn't really like the rowdier, more boisterous types of children (they frustrate her and test her patience lol). But needless to say, if they end up showing any sort of cute/endearing quality to her, then they get a head start. She makes it so obvious, too... I can literally see her with stars in her eyes after C/N timidly asks not to be left alone, like "You're so cute!!! Ok fine you can come with me <3"

↳ The thing is, she doesn't see them as much more as someone adorable to have around (or boss around) for a little while at the start. That attitude, if she makes it too obvious, would probably turn C/N away from her... Same thing if she coos at them too much when they've done something cute. It's a weird barrier that she'll have to overcome; she's not always the most self-aware when it comes to how she treats others, so it might actually take a little while.

↳ Perona is absolutely thrown for a loop the first time she seems them cry or panic, though. She'll just watch them for a few moments like "Oh. Hm." and wince or wrinkle her nose in discomfort. Still, she's not so cold-hearted that she could just leave them hanging, especially if there's no one else around who could step up to comfort them first. All of a sudden, C/N is incredibly human in her eyes, not a plaything, and it catches her off guard. I could see Perona just hastily snapping at the child at first– like "What? What is it! What do you need?"– and intimidating them even more. She feels sooo guilty about it though. She was a kid too once, and while she's quick to stand up for herself in the present day, I headcanon that she wasn't always like that.

↳ So she does feel a lot of sympathy toward C/N when she sees them upset, and even more so when she learns about their past. Perona would crouch down to their level and offer a stilted apology for being mean to them, and would probably also repeat her earlier question too. Just more delicately this time. She does her best to follow through with whatever they ask of her. If it's space, sure. If it's a hug or some kind words, then okay, fine. She'll at least attempt, even if she's pretty clumsy when it comes to affection.

↳ From there, her affection for C/N mostly shows through gifts and the time they spend together. I feel like she and C/N become kind of attached by the hip. She likes having them around, and feels uneasy (worried, but she wouldn't call it that) when they're off doing their own thing for too long. Perona usually talks more than she listens, but C/N becomes the first exception to that. And she's always there when they're struggling, offering comfort through her presence, through non-judgemental and quiet solidarity.

↳ She gets mad on C/N's behalf too, when other people mess with them or even just about their past in general. And she hardly ever says so, but if she could wave her hand and make all of this child's troubles go away, she would. If only it were that easy. For the first time, Perona is frustrated with her devil fruit abilities. She's only able to weigh people down, and in this situation, she feels so useless for it. Which she hates. She hates that this child was forced into slavery even more, though. She dedicated her life to Moria, but that was her own choice, and she was never treated as cruelly as C/N surely was by their captor.

↳ Seeing the after effects of it infuriates Perona, and she doesn't know where to direct that anger. I feel like she'd cycle through considering revenge and convincing herself out of it. It's not like she can just go out there and abolish slavery herself. And if C/N's former owner was some big shot noble, a monarch, or worse, a Celestial Dragon, then it wouldn't be an easy task at all. Her "revenge plotting" usually ends with her feeling dumb and helpless. She'd take off by herself, and sit down squeezing a pillow while hot, angry tears run down her face. She cares for C/N more than she knows how to handle, okay

Ace scenario : The moment I became a whole (read after the cut)

His heart is wrenching inside his chest, while he’s looking at the horizon. He has never been so nervous in his entire life. Not even when his crew has been defeated by Whitebeard. Not even when he took the sea at the age of seventeen. Not even when he was on that scaffold, his life about to be ended by the marines. No, he has never felt this way. Perhaps it’s because it’s been two years since he didn’t see her. Two years without a single letters, nor a single phone call. Two years living with the everlasting fear that their passion would be gone for good ; something belonging to the past. They are young after all, barely twenty two years old. At this particular age, there’s nothing to bond you forever to the other one. Ace pinches his lips together, and watches Amazon Lily’s island becoming bigger and bigger, as his ship is about to anchor there. 

“Oï Ace, look at this!” Luffy brags while he blows in his hand, creating for the thousand time a gigantic bicep. “It’s really cool!” 

“Shut it, Luffy.” Ace rolls his eyes, while he sighs, looking at the cliff just above the natural arbor. 

Two years ago, he was with her, right there, still shocked and injured after what happened in Marineford. They made love for the very first time of their life, both of them finally forgetting the many obstacles between their hearts. Ace has cherished that moment every day since he left Amazon Lily, sailing with his young brother to that wild island where the both of them trained harshly until today. 

“Do you think she’s still there?” Luffy suddenly asks, right beside Ace, as he doesn’t know he just surprised his elder brother. 

“Who?” Ace frowns. With Luffy, there are always so many possibilities. 

Luffy chuckles and throws to Ace a playful stare, while he jumps on the barrier of the deck and starts to walk on it.

“The girl who saved your ass, idiot! You love her, don’t you?” 

Ace wants to punch his little brother right in the nose, but he’s terrified to answer this question. He doesn’t know. She lost everything during that battle, two years ago, but he can’t tell if she waited for him. Perhaps the marines took her away, when he wasn’t here to defend her. Perhaps she also decided to disappear, too ashamed to face him the day he would be back. 

“I don’t know, Luffy. She might be gone,” Ace answers bitterly, swallowing his spit. “She has no reason to wait anyway,” 

“Mmmh…,” Luffy closes his eyes, patting his chin. “I think she’s there. She’s your nakama, or sort of.” He shrugs while he jumps back on the deck and starts to exercice, easily distracted by his own mind. 

“Yeah, sort of…,” Ace adds for himself, feeling his heartbeat getting erratic as the boat is now really close to the shore.

When Ace jumps off the boat, he immediately recognizes and appreciates the general atmosphere of Amazon Lily. The arbor is pretty busy at this time of the day, and Luffy is already lost in the alleys, begging for food, not even paying attention to the rest of the world. Ace chuckles and pushes his hat down on his hair, looking around to see if he spots any familiar faces. The capital of the island isn’t so far, and perhaps that a few warriors under the orders of the empress are here to shop for her. He puts his bundle on his shoulders and starts to walk, looking around to see if he can see anyone, but especially her. After all, the purpose of this visit is to find her lover ; at least for him. The real goal of this mission is for Luffy to thanks Boa Hancock, and for the two of them to get back to Sabaody and meet the rest of the Straw Hat. 

“Oh…,” Ace stops walking while he feels something grab his ankle. He looks down to notice a little toddler gripping his boot. “Hey little one, are you lost?” 

Behind dark locks, two curious brown eyes are watching him, absolutely hypnotized by his features. Ace can’t help but smile to the little girl, squatting down to have a better look on her round and chubby face. She’s really adorable. 

“Are you alright?” He tries again, his voice soft and reassuring. 

He has always loved kids, he can’t deny it. And this one looks particularly gorgeous. As an answer, she only extends her hands up in the air, closing and opening them while she gives him the purest smile ever. 

“Up!” She orders with her baby voice, and a soft giggle escaping from her throat. 

Ace chuckles and tousles her raven hair, before he eventually accepts her request, and picks her up in his arms. As he straightened himself up, he feels her tiny fingers exploring his face, gently grasping his nose and skimming his cheek. It makes him laughs softly, while he notices the many freckles on her pale skin. 

“Young lady, are you trying to seduce me?” Ace winks, as the little girl muffles another happy giggle. 

“Funny!” She says as her hands fall down on his neck, pulling on the rope of his hat. “Papa funny!” 

Ace is a little bit surprised by her statement, feeling embarrassed. He shakes his head and smiles tenderly. 

“I’m not your papa, young lady,” he says as he changes her position on his arm, so she can have a proper seat. “But I can help you finding him? Or maybe your mama?” 

“Mama!” The toddler positively shouts, her eyes enlightening by the thought of her mother. 

Ace sighs, as he starts to walk in the alley, where numerous merchants are selling their products. Perhaps her father is somewhere there? He doesn’t remember seeing someone with freckles among the Amazonians, but there’s still the possibility that the person he’s looking for works on this market. She seems too young to be on her own anyway. He decides that he just needs to ask to the different persons here, and eventually, someone will recognize this little girl. 

“Excuse-me!” He calls out to the first merchant. “Do you know who’s she? And where could be her father, or mother?” 

The merchant blinks several times, looking at Ace, then at the little girl, while she’s laughing blissfully within his arms. 

“I’m not here to play game, Fire Fist…” The merchant answers before he rolls his eyes and turns his back to disappear behind a ripped curtain. Ace tries to call him a few times, but nothing. He tries to another merchant, and another one, but all of them seem pretty hostile and busy, and none of them would give him a proper answer. 

“Papa funny…,” the little girl cooes, hiding her nose in the crook of his neck. 

Ace continues his researches for at least half a hour, as he starts to feel slightly afraid for this little toddler. Why does he feel that no one take him seriously? He heard many giggles when he asked his questions, and it seemed that all of them knew the girl. After a moment, slightly upset with the whole situation, and the precious time he’s losing, he decides to take a break, as he seats on a barrel and secures the girl on his lap. She immediately pushes her back against his belly, sucking on her thumb, continuing to give him lovely smiles. Ace can’t help but play with her hair, before he exhales loudly. She seems young, but perhaps she would be able to describe her mother? Or her father?

“Tell me, sweetie,” he starts while he cups her jawline and lifts her chin up. “How’s your mama?” 

“Fine!” The girl nods as she swings her feet. “Mama is okay!” 

Ace giggles and shakes his head. 

“No, I mean… Can you describe her physically? Can you tell me how she looks like?” 

The little girl frowns, visibility concentrated. She looks at her hands for a second, playing with her pants, before she eventually looks back at Ace with a radiant face. 

“Mama is pretty!” 

Ace widens his eyes before he massages his forehead, unable to scold such an adorable child for her more than honest answer. She’s trying her best to describe her mother, but all she can think about is that she’s a beautiful woman. And there are a lot of women on Amazon Lily. But since he can’t stay with her forever, Ace starts again. 

“Sweetheart, can you describe your papa, now?” 

Hopefully, she will understand… Again, she frowns, looking at him with curious and lost eyes, before she tilts her head and points at him with her index. 

“Papa.” She just answers, blinking. 

“I’m not your papa,” Ace shakes his head, as he puts his back against the wall. “It’s not a game, sweetheart. You have to tell me where are your parents, because I need to go.” 

“Go?” 

Ace immediately regrets his sentence. The eyes of the toddler are now full of tears, her bottom lip trembling dangerously. Before he can do anything, she turns into an impressive human waterfall, heavy tears falling on her cheeks, her screams desperate and full of pain. 

“No, no, no! Don’t cry!” Ace gasps as he pulls her against his chest and rocks her gently. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to hurt you… But you need to understand that I can’t stay…” 

“Stay! Stay!” She desperately cries, her little fingers gripping his skin, she’s now inconsolable. 

What can he do, now? He tries his best to rock her, but it seems that his words have a real impact on her heart. Perhaps her papa abandoned her? Maybe she’s an orphan? So many questions travel through Ace’s mind. He’s so busy trying to comfort her that he doesn’t notice the silhouette walking in their direction. As the little girl is still a crying mess, a young woman is now standing in front of them, her own heart about to fall in her guts. 

“Ace?” 

It feels like time stops itself, her soft voice echoing into his soul. Even the little girl immediately stops her cryings, sniffing while she looks up and extends her arm in the direction of the woman standing in front of them. Ace can’t even think anymore. He can’t believe it. It’s her. 

“Mama! Mama! Look!” The toddler happily wiggles on Ace’s lap, as the woman bends down to pick her up and kisses her cheek. 

Ace doesn’t process at all. He’s all numb, mouth slightly open, his eyes travelling from her lover face to the toddler’s one. Mama. 

“Name…,” Ace finally whispers, getting back on his feet as if he has been struck by an electric salvo. “Name, it’s you!” 

He wants to hug her, kiss her, to feel her skin again, and have her smell in his nose. To be able to cup her waist and make love to her, but every of his muscle doesn’t move. All he can think about is the fact that she’s carrying a little girl. 

“It’s been a while…,” she says, breathless, her eyes a bit shifty. “I was expecting your return…,” 

“Mama, look!” The toddler wiggles between her arms, pointing at Ace. 

Ace feels his heart wrenching hard. Is it… Really too late? After all, he shouldn’t be surprised. She’s a beautiful girl, fierce and intelligent. It’s perfectly normal that many men want to have her by their side and have a family with her. Yet, for Ace, it feels that he’s being stabbed by thousand knives. He swallows his spit, looking at the ground for a moment, pushing on the edge of his hat to cover a bit more his eyes. He’s so pitiful ; he’s about to cry. 

“I should go,” Ace whispers harshly, unable to stay anymore. His heart is broken in many pieces. “It was nice to see you again, Name...” 

“Mama, why papa is playing again?” The toddler says loudly, as Ace is about to turn his feet and leave them. 

“He...He doesn’t know who you are, sweetie…,” She answers shyly. “Not yet…” 

Ace feels his whole world spinning. He looks up, frowning. What is she trying to say right now? 

“He doesn’t know that he’s your father yet…” She continues, trembling. “I was supposed to tell him today, but someone decided to run away!” 

She turns her head to look at the mischievous eyes of her daughter. The little one only giggles and kisses her mother’s cheek. 

“It’s...It’s real?” Ace stutters, making a step forwards. He fights the need to throw up, the surprise kicking his guts. “She’s…” 

Name nods slowly. 

“Her name is *name*, she’s your daughter.” She pauses, then exhales. “I can’t believe you thought it could be someone else’s child she looks just like you!” She snaps, her impetuous character coming back to the light. 

Ace chuckles, still processing, yet, he closes the distance between the two of them. As he looks at his daughter, he can see how much she’s the spitting image of him. Same eyes, same hair, same freckles. 

“So… I’m your papa?” Ace asks, still hesitant. 

The little toddler just throws herself inside his arms, peppering his neck and jawline with tender kisses. 

“Yes! Yes, you papa!” Name chirps, “Mama showed me photo of papa!” 

Ace closes his eyes as he hugs her tightly, feeling the tender digits of his lover skimming his arm. 

“I showed her your bounty poster months ago. She wanted to meet you so eagerly, I couldn’t prevent her from escaping. She’s a real wild fire…”

Ace looks at the features of his lover, and slowly, he rolls his free arms around her waist, pulling her against his torso. For a second, he only sees the beautiful complexion of the women he loves, before he bends down and steals a hungry kiss, his thumb caressing her back. He feels so many emotions right now, and he can’t even pick one. They slowly part their lips, bliss surrounding the three of them. 

“Ace!” A voice calls from the end of the street. “Aceeee!” 

Ace notices his little brother running to them, a bright smile blooming on his lips. He waves at him, tears of happiness falling on his cheeks. 

“Luffy!” Ace shouts at the top of his voice. “Luffy, come here! I need to present you someone important…”

One Piece 1059 was insane with info and questions.

And I have things to say about it.

Firstly, the reveal that Shakky was the Empress of Amazon Lily a while back is a surprise I should have seen coming. I love the implications of it, many of which I will get into.

The Seraphim Pacafistas seemingly being Lunarian child versions of Hancock and Mihawk is a very interesting concept, and opens the door to the very likely theory that there are AT LEAST 5 more modeled after the child versions of the other original Warlords, plus maybe newer ones like Law, Teach, and Weevil. (This would also mean a child Buggy Pacafista, which I hope gets wrecked with minimal effort because even with Lunarian powers he’s a joke.) Also, with the long running theory that Crocodile’s secret Ivankov has been keeping is that he is a trans man, seeing his child self could wind up proving things once and for all.

But what I really wonder with these Seraphim Pacafistas is if it was limited to just the Warlords. Perhaps they can recreate other pirate legends, and we might see a young Gol D. Roger Pacafista too… one who subsequently looks a lot like Ace, and Luffy might struggle to fight.

It’s hard to say if Teach would really get any use out of Hancock’s power, since it’s only ever worked if you’re attracted to her, but perhaps that’s a misdirection like the nature of Luffy’s fruit had been. It could be she actually has a Mythic Zoan type for Medusa or the like, and it could be applied to more than just those with romantic hearts but she’s only scratched the surface. Her sisters got snake-based Zoan fruits, it would make a certain amount of sense if her “Gorgon’s Curse” was more true than she realized.

Capturing Koby is a bold strategy for Blackbeard, perhaps he’ll try to turn him over to the Cross Guild to collect the bounty on him. That would put the lad in a position to meet Alvida again, and I look forward to the potential such a meeting holds.

However, the meatiest theories (and they are not my own, I am just sharing them here) have to do with Shakky. Characters having only one name is pretty common in this series (half the Straw Hats don’t have last names, for example), but it’s become my theory that Shakky is not simply just Shakky. Behold, former Kuja Empress:

Boa Shakuyaku

I know we give Oda a lot of shit for his “women have the same face” syndrome, but she and Hancock really do have a lot of similar features so I firmly do believe she could be Hancock’s mother.

Plus, the ages work well to support it with Shakky being 64 and Hancock being 31. Whether or not this means she’s also the mother of Marigold and Sandersonia is a bit more difficult to be confident about. But latent gigantism in people’s genetics happens pretty often in this world, so it’s not terribly farfetched.

With the revelation that Shakky was Kuja Empress comes the question of how she met Rayleigh, and I have a few theories on this too. Either they crossed paths while he was with Roger and she was leading the Kuja, or maybe... just maybe... after she had her daughter(s) from some other man and the Boa sisters were abducted, the two met on the hunt to find the girls and they hit it off while bringing the girls home once they had been liberated by Fisher Tiger? It’s hard to say if Rayleigh is Hancock’s father, and I’m not putting too much stock in that idea by comparison.

However. I have an even more out there theory that I think really ties some loose ends of the universe together and draws on real mythology in a way we know Oda loves to do. Shakky wasn’t just a pirate for the Kuja. She was part of a far more dangerous group:

The Rocks Pirates.

According to Greek mythology, during the time of the Trojan War the Amazons were lead by a queen named Penthesileia, who fought with a silver battle axe. While we have gotten next to no information about the Rocks Pirates outside of the most all-star alumni, how little they got along, and what a great battle taking them down at God Valley was, we do hear a few other names dropped for who was in this crew’s ranks. Shiki “the Golden Lion”, Captain John (whose treasure Buggy keeps wanting to find), Wang Zhi (Who apparently lost ownership of Fulla-Lead Island to Blackbeard thanks to the events of the Rocky Port Incident), and... “Silver Axe”. Now I may just be stretching so far you’d think I ate the Gum Gum Fruit, but that sounds like the epitaph of an Amazon Empress turned pirate. Even if it wasn’t Shakky herself, Oda seems like the type to use this as a way to reference obscure Greek mythology and say there was a Kuja Amazon in the Rocks Pirates, especially with the current Empress Boa Hancock having a Medusa related power.

So until further notice, I will believe that the Rocks Pirates included “Silver Axe” Boa Shakuyaku. And it would be a heck of a meet cute if she met Rayleigh while they were on opposites sides of the God Valley incident and hit it off really well in the aftermath. Speaking of whom, his name being Silvers Rayleigh would make it even better of a connection if she was “Silver Axe” Shakuyaku. Yet another reason for them to get along!
