THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!! OBERON HAS ARRIVED!!! I'm so glad they didn't make us wait until the 17th :')

I wanted NP5, which I did not get this time, but I'm happy enough with my results. 5 tickets and two multis in:

Another multi and two tickets got me NP2, then three tickets and seven multis for NP3. 10 tickets and 300 SQ total. I still used the full 900 (+90) I'd saved for this banner, but even if I didn't get any more Oberon copies, I got a bunch of other cool stuff and NP3 was my minimum goal, so I'm still happy.

Other cool stuff I got:

Multiple copies of all four SRs (OG Gawain really likes me, apparently, because he went NP0 > NP5 on this banner. Everyone else is NP2 or 3), plus a Valkyrie spook

NP1 > NP2 Napoleon spook Whyyyyy couldn't that have been NP4 Oberon, or at least Ozy or another spook I actually wanted? Oh well.

I think this game pushing you to roll past np5 of a 5* is so crazy in more than 1 way

But one thing that annoys me a lot is that it started in the same year as pity right?

It took them so long to give that to us and when they finallly do it they are also like oh cool we gave you that but now if you want to max you favorite 5* you need an extra copy

And now they changed pity to make it so you can still get another copy in the banner with the pity (correct if I’m wrong) but like now you need np8 of a 5* to fully max it

There’s always something. They can’t ever do a positive change to the gacha without a negative one as well

Hi! Just wanted to say thank you for the lovely collection of Oberon art I've stumbled upon on your blog! I've recently fallen in the Oberon fan pit (partly because of lb6) and I just... can't... 🥰

Oberon has thrown a wrench in my Fgo summoning plans. I'm saving sq Tiamat and Draco and was planning to use the excess to summon Kukulkan (playing on NA), but our resident grumpy bugboy has decided to take my heart and hold it hostage until I get him in on his December banner. Damn, I just seem to get attached to characters and then need to wait ages for their banners...🥹

...Now I'm imagining the chaos in my Chaldea when Oberon comes seeing as Merlin is one of my favorites. 😂

Honestly, considering us on JP side are getting Lilim Harlot rerun, it will take awhile, but Draco will most likely get a rerun, Kukulkan is a bit too close for comfort though... LB7 has a lot of great units (the amount of joy I had from seeing Kirei grace the summon screen at new year)

Also good luck, I personally believe the only reason he came to my Chaldea at NP5 was because I don't have Merlin, and then proceeded to cockblock all sorts of male Servants from Jiang Ziya, Merlin, to FSR Saber (I know their real name, just want to avoid spoilers for everyone else)....

Fate Go Update?!?!

Hello there! Since I last left you there have been quite a few banners I have rolled on (only a few since there’s a lot of great units to save for this summer).  The first was Proto Arthur’s Banner. My first favorite husbando and just before his banner dropped, I acquired a nendoroid of him in his White Rose costume. This was the catalyst to getting two copies of him for a total of NP3. I levelled him to lvl 100 to celebrate! The next banner of note was the Nero Bride Banner. I dropped a multi there and was so happy to see a gold saber card, but it could never be. Instead we finish off with NP5 Rama. I saved for quite a while after this. Servant Camp Rerun came out and I spent a multi to try to grab another copy of Kiara, my favorite mermaid. I ended up with her and Illya in tow. That leaves Moon Cancer Kiara at NP3 and Archer Illya at NP4. Then this week. Morgan’s banner. I originally told myself I would just use one multi... This was a lie. I spent all of my savings, about 9 multis, and only got NP3 Barghest. On pay day, I treated myself to a multi, and with my nephew helping my click the summon button, Morgan appeared with the Rainbow Ring! We got her NP2. It is also fun to mention that I pulled 3 copies of KScope alone on this banner. This gave me the rest of the copies I needed to  make my first SuperScope! I did immediately level Morgan to lvl 100. I 10/10/10 her skills and gave her some Gold Fous I had been holding on to.  And now we’re all caught up. I sure hope I can manage to pull a Koyanskaya during anniversary with the quartz and tickets that will be provided in the campaigns. Good Luck to all that will be rolling for her! P.S.  I will roll on this GSSR banner. Hoping for Melusine since I have no quartz to summon for her when her banner drops. But anyone here will be a great unit to have.

Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results

So far, the most notable things I got from pulling on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner and which I talk more about in another post are the following:

Well, at least I can sell or burn them for Rare Prisms, which I did, but still. Really wish Saber Lancelot or SaberLot would stop trolling me. Really don't need any more copies of him.

Although I already managed to get my 1st copies of Percival and Mélusine, continued pulling on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner because I still have Saint Quartz or SQ.

Hoping to get more copies of the 2 Lancers, especially Mélusine. Right now, would prefer to get her over Percival since she's limited meaning she can only be pulled on banners where she’s specifically on rate-up.

Plus, she'll be really useful for one of the upcoming raids in the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event which is set to happen in a few days.

In contrast to that, Percival is permanent meaning he has a chance to show up every time you pull on a banner.

Anyway, so here are the results of the rest of my pulls on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner. Only gonna list the notable stuff I get though.

One of my multi-draws gave me 3 4-star Craft Essences. Unfortunately, they were all useless dupes. This pull didn't even give me a 4-star SR Servant, dupe or otherwise. Meh.

The same could be said for my next multi-draw which also gave me 3 4-star CE dupes and 0 4-star and/or higher Servants. Ugh. Wish the rates in this game were better and much higher. Sigh.

Don't have enough SQ to do another multi-draw so started doing singles instead. So far, only got 1 4-star CE dupe, which was useless to me. The rest were all 3-star dupes.

Soon, I was sadly all out of Saint Quartz so couldn't keep on pulling even if I wanted to.

5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot)

After getting my 1st copy of Mélusine, spent all the resources needed to get all of her skills to the max of level 10. Also spent all the Embers needed to get her to the max of level 90.

Was wondering whether I should level her to 100 or not. In the end, decided to go for it since I have lots of extra Embers thanks to the Christmas lotto event that recently happened. Also, having a level 100 Mélusine should help for the upcoming aforementioned raid even if she's only NP1.

Started clearing the quests that would allow me to unlock Mélusine's costumes. Never did them before since I didn't have a copy of her back then so it wasn't like I could make use of those outfits anyway.

After clearing the aforementioned quests, went to the Unlock Wardrobe section of the game and proceeded to spend all the resources needed to unlock all of Mélusine's costumes.

Mélusine has the following costumes:

Simple Spiritron Dress: Red Hot Deviation

Simple Spiritron Dress: Tam Lin Lancelot (First Ascension)

Simple Spiritron Dress: Tam Lin Lancelot (Second Ascension)

On a side note, I wish there was a way to make it so that when you use Mélusine's 3rd skill while she's in either her 1st or 2nd ascension, you can choose whether to have her transform into her 3rd ascension outfit or her Red Hot Deviation costume.

Pulling Resources for the Mélusine, Percival, and Lancelot Banner

I started clearing some of the Interludes that I had yet to do so I could get more SQ to keep pulling on the Mélusine banner. Managed to do like 1 to 3 or so before stopping.

I should really finish all these Interludes already, but at the moment, I just don't feel like doing so.

Thankfully, there are days in the daily login rewards that gives SQ and there's even 1 day that gives 1 Summon Ticket. Wish we could get at least 1 SQ for logging in to the game each day.

The Advent Calendar 2023 campaign is also currently ongoing. Each day, we get a surprise present. Thankfully, some of these days gave us some pulling resources.

While waiting for the Tunguska Sanctuary event to start, ran quests that gives a lot of bond exp. Depending on the rarity and bond level, each Servant will give some SQ every time their bond level increases.

The raids in the Tunguska Sanctuary event will also give lots of bond exp so was planning to participate in all of those to get as much bond as I could for a lot of my Servants.

Will talk more about the Tunguska raids and event in another post but I was able to participate in the raids. Managed to get a lot of SQ from increasing the bond levels of a lot of my Servants.

There was also some campaign or other that gave us some SQ just before the Tunguska event started. I think this was for the pre-campaign and stream for the event or something. We also got some maintenance SQ.

Used all the SQ I got from all of the above to keep pulling on the Mélusine banner.

After the Tunguska raids were over, was thinking I'll try to do more Interludes for more SQ. Was even considering unlocking some of the Main Interlude events in the Rare Prism shop for even more SQ.

Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results Part 2

Here are the results of the rest of my pulls on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner:

As aforementioned, had to stop pulling when I ran out of SQ and tickets. Had around 3 or so pulls left before getting to the bonus or +1 summon.

Unfortunately, the rest of those draws didn't give me another Mélusine or even Percival. Instead, got useless 3-star dupes again.

But I also got a new 5-star Craft Essence called Witchcraft. Its effect is:

Increase own Buster Card effectiveness by 10%. Increase own Critical Strength by 10%. Increase own NP Gain by 15%.

The results of my next multi-draw were really awful. Only got 1 gold, and it was nothing more than a 4-star CE dupe. Ugh. Rate-up is a lie.

After that crappy multi, went back to doing single draws. The good news is that the very 1st single pull I did actually gave me a 4-star SR Servant.

But the bad news is that this Servant once again turned out to be a dupe of SaberLot. Argh! Damn it, SaberLot, stop trolling me, please. Why do I keep getting the wrong Lancelot? Give me Tam Lin Lancelot, please.

The rest of the singles I did didn't give me anything worth talking about. It was all just the usual silver trash.

My next set of singles gave me 2 4-star CEs but they were just useless dupes. The rest were the usual silver trash.

After that, managed to do 1 more single draw before running out of SQ.

Around this time, the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event started.

Will talk more about this in another post, but managed to get 5-star SSR Artoria or Altria Caster or Castoria from bond level 11 to 12. This gave me 30 SQ which I promptly threw on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner.

IIRC, this was the SQ that gave me the following really great pull.

At first, I thought I was all set to get the usual crap again. But then, much to my surprise, a gold Lancer card actually showed up. Hell, yes!

Thankfully, this actually turned into my 2nd copy of Mélusine. Yes!

I thought that was it, but apparently, there's more because soon, another gold Lancer card showed up. Wow! Also, hell, yes!

Was hoping for my 3rd copy of Mélusine but sadly, it wasn't meant to be. Instead, got my 2nd copy of Percival. While this is nice and all, like I said, right now, I prefer to get more copies of Mélusine.

Aside from Percival and Mélusine, this multi-draw also gave me 3 4-star CE dupes and the usual useless silvers.

4-star SR Lancer Percival

Used the dupe Percival that I just got to increase the NP level of my 1st copy.

When I first got Percival, didn't want to level him up since he only showed up once.

Now that I have him at NP2, went ahead and leveled him up to the max of 80. Even went to max out all of his skills to level 10. Would have unlocked his Mana Loading append skill too but sadly, don't have enough of his Servant Coins yet so can't do that.

Another reason why I bothered to do all of the above with regards to Percival is because I needed to spend my QP or Quantum Piece. Thanks to the Tunguska raids, was nearing the QP cap of 2 billion.

Hitting the QP cap won't keep me from playing the game but it would mean no longer being able to get any QP which is a waste.

5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot)

Used the dupe Mélusine that I just got to increase the NP level of my 1st copy.

I talk more about this in another post, but already leveled my Mélusine to the max of 90. Even spent some Grails so I could get her to level 100. Also spent all the resources needed to get all of her skills to level 10.

Started giving her some gold Fous to further increase her HP and ATK stats. At the moment, don't have enough gold Fous so it's gonna take a long time before I can max out her ATK and HP stats.

Didn't have enough Servant Coins so couldn't unlock Mélusine's Mana Loading append skill.

But after getting my 2nd copy of her as well as being able to increase her bond levels thank to the Tunguska Sanctuary raids, I now have enough Coins to unlock Mélusine's Mana Loading append skill.

Wasn't sure about doing that though. Was wondering if it would be better to use the Coins to get Mélusine past level 100 but wasn't sure about doing that either.

Gonna need way more copies and/or bond levels in order to get a Servant to level 120 so I don't know. Gonna have to think about this some more.

My next single gave me a 4-star CE dupe. The next 2 singles after that just gave me silver trash.

But after that a gold Lancer card showed up. Hell, yes!

Once again, was really hoping to get another copy of Tam Lin Lancelot. But sadly, once again, ended up being disappointed.

Yeah, that's right. Just got my 3rd copy of Percival. Now he's NP3. Ahh, wish this had happened with Mélusine instead. Sigh.

Anyway, my next single draw gave me a 3-star CE dupe. The one after that gave me a 4-star CE dupe.

Soon, managed to get enough SQ to do another multi but this one just gave me the usual crap. Only got 2 golds and they were the usual dupes. Ugh. What a waste of 30 SQ. Mélusine, please come home again, please.

After that, went back to doing singles but sadly, didn't get anything good from these pulls.

Now down to 21 SQ on-hand. By now, the Tunguska raids are over. So is the Advent Calendar 2023 campaign.

Can still get maybe 1 to 3 SQ from the daily login rewards. Can still try to do the rest of the Interludes I haven't done yet. Can also still try to buy and then clear some of the Main Interlude events for a bit more SQ.

Not sure what to do yet. Initially, I told myself I was gonna do 1 last multi on this banner and then do single draws until I get to the +1 or bonus summon.

Well after that happened, and I got crap as usual, I found myself left with 21 SQ. Maybe I should have just walked away from this banner now. Heck, the moment I was able to NP2 Mélusine, I should have stopped already.

But it's too late for that now. Decided I might as well throw the rest of my SQ on this banner. Of course those 21 SQ didn't give me anything good at all. Sigh. How utterly depressing. Rate-up is a lie. Eff this game.

Feels like I just wasted the rest of the bond level up SQ I got from the Tunguska raids. Feels like I just grinded practically non-stop for nothing. Sigh.

Anyway, didn't get to do anymore Interludes. Also didn't end up buying the Main Interlude events in the Rare Prism shop. Just didn't feel like grinding anymore, especially since it felt hopeless.

But I did manage to scrounge up a bit more SQ as well as 1 ticket thanks to the daily login rewards and such. Immediately threw all these resources on the Mélusine banner.

Sadly, as usual, ended up with crap. But then the ticket actually gave me a gold Servant. Unfortunately, that turned out to be yet another SaberLot dupe.

Argh! So freaking frustrating. Why does Saber Lancelot keep trolling me? Why couldn't that gold have been another copy of Percival or, better yet, Mélusine instead? Sigh. Eff this game.

Soon, after doing a few more singles, I was able to get the +1 bonus summon. Ended up with dupes, one of which was a 4-star CE. Ugh. If only that had been a gold Servant instead. Damn it.

A few hours before the Mélusine banner was set to end, the Mana Prism shop reset for the month of January 2024. This meant the stock of 5 Summon Tickets that can be bought from said shop just got refreshed.

Decided to get those 5 tickets for one last try on the Mélusine banner. Unfortunately, got crap as usual. Ahh, what a waste of tickets. Shouldn't have bothered to use them on this banner.

If I'd known I wasn't gonna be able to get any more copies of Mélusine, would have stopped pulling once I got her to NP2.

It's sad that I couldn't even manage to NP5 Percival even after pulling so many times on this banner. Also still so freaking pissed and annoyed that Saber Lancelot kept on trolling me.

Anyway, initially, I was thinking of Grailing Percival to 100 but now I'm having second thoughts so I don't know. Will have to think about this some more.

Was also considering Grailing Mélusine past 100 but since I wasn't able to get more copies of her, wouldn't be able to get her to the max level of 120 so for now, opted to just unlock and max out her Mana Loading append skill.

Conclusion

it’s certainly part of their continued anti-3 turn design trend given the fact that it’s an affection meter that also… inexplicably resets? even if i don’t think it was as consciously part of it as shit like the “fuck you nodes”. though it’s really just 3 turn farming they’ve been weirdly hung over about and esports has barely ever been on their radar good or bad by comparison. the anti-cuck meter genuinely just feels like they were taking the piss with no regards for anything beyond “teehee this means people will want their own eresh” by comparison, lest the anti-cuck meter would have been immediately patched onto every servant in the game in order to hammer down on support usage for maximum profits even more if they’d thought about it for ten more seconds.

well now that i’ve thought about it i don’t even think they want to discourage 3 turn farming. i think they just want the paywall for people to be able to 3 turn farm at all to be as high as possible. i don’t think “wow the players figured out how to 3 turn again with whale setups despite our best efforts” is a thing that would surprise them anymore, if it was ever even how they viewed it to begin with. if some f2p rando can 3 turn everything by just having sieg and castoria or cascu and koyan, there’s no pressure on that player anymore. if you set up nodes so that you need a specific np5 ssr and mixed aoe/st and multiple specific 50% ssr chargers and kscope or black grail just to not have a miserable grind then the pressure is back on to obtain the means to not have a miserable grind. the inconvenience of 98% of casual players outweighs what requirements this high or specific pull in.

i am wondering if it’s going to be an accepted strat among people doing space eresh esports to just immediately fire off 3 HP restore command seals into her at the start of the fight to begin the fight with her Anti-Cuck Meter at level 3+. of course in doing so you’d only get one shot at full meter per three days but something to think about.
