In my general opinion, it's not my business what my "fandom" does... It's on you and also me to curate our own spaces! If you're inspired by my work in any way, that's the greatest honor I could imagine and I want you to feel fully free to explore that. If someone is being weird, I know where the block button is and they can keep being weird where I don't have to see it haha

hello! i was planning on drawing the rawnsyf characters, but i don't really have a clear idea of what every character looks like. do you have any examples of what the characters would wear on a day-to-day basis?

For Marcia I generally imagine her in like preppy pastel 2 or 3 piece sets that have a kind of 50’s meets 90’s vibe, very reminiscent of her premiere episode yk? Skirts and sweaters and matching tops. She also of course has her matching workout sets that she wears all the time :)

Anetra I think is a little harder to pinpoint, I don’t think her style is as distinct. I generally imagine her a little more on the light grunge side, like big t-shirts and cargos and flannels and leather jackets, but I also think she’s still figuring out herself and her sense of style so there’s definitely more wiggle room with the way she presents herself haha — just definitely not hyper femme and retro like Marcia

Not the spiderverse art book restarting the dying down Hobie age discourse. With the Japanese version implying he’s a ‘young boy’(I think that’s what it was either way either way) and the book saying ‘he’s much older than miles..’(smth like that either way either way) and it’s like seriously? Again? AGAIN?

The directors said it’s up to interpretation. And the only reason(w/ the exclusion of the people thinking he’s like 30 cause that’s weird and gross, re-examine some racial biases)that people are so adamant he is or isn’t a minor is because of shipping! Whether it’s with one of the spider teens or with OCs or justifying self shipping it’s weird! It’s weird that that’s the reason people are going nuts over this shit and dying on their respective hills. And let people have their HCs holyshit.

And to reiterate: it’s not proshipping/pedoshit if someone HCs Hobie as a teen and ships them with one of the spider teens. It’s not necessarily fetishization and is not pedoshit if people HC him as a young adult and do self ships or whatever else goes on there.

It’s fandom let people fuck around. Something doesn’t have to be justified as morally wrong for you not to like it. Stop trying to force your own Head Canons, key word HEAD as in the canon in your head, onto other people.

I feel like nobody talks about how fucking weird Henry's 'so naive' comment about Susie through the golden ink messages is tbh. I'm sure it's meant to be like sad, but it feels so fucking stupid.

What do you mean naive Henry she was literally tricked by the same guy who tricked you, except unlike you she wasn't a white man in the 1930s she was a woman being taken advantage of by the men in power around her [which would've included Henry who was Joey's literal business partner]. Seems like she did the same thing you did but unlike you she had way more reason to be forced to stick around and so she did. Not only that but she learned to distrust Joey, something u didn't seemingly learn until he trapped u in a timeloop. Idk is that just me? It feels weirdly mean-spirited even as like a 'poor gal' kind of comment. Henry literally did the same thing she did why does it make her naive??? Is it projection?? Cause I never got the impression it was considering how much the story really seems to take everything Henry says at face value [like how he calls Malice heartless and it's like. Okay well at least she has a personality u piece of cardboard who has no depth besides 'oh gee I sure do love my wife, hope I don't die']

Cause unlike characters like Joey we've never gotten the impression Henry's judgement is clouded with emotion or tainted with lies or generally that anything he's said is untrue or put through the filter of what he sees. It seems like when he says Susie's naive the narrative is genuinely telling us that's how she is. Henry's never really had his perspective challenged narratively which is why I want to stress I don't think it's like a 'oh deep down he sees himself in her' or a projection kind of deal. It's never been implied we shouldn't take Henry's word at face value.
