Hello, i have noticed the lack of love for my girls, Charlie and Vaggie, could you do a Charlie x Reader x Vaggie? OT3?

A/N: Before anyone jumps down my esophagus to yell at me about the character’s sexuality. I know Vaggie’s canonically a lesbian and Charlie is bisexual, I know. Don’t send hate or anything cause I will delete that shit, I don’t have time for it. Alright with that out of the way. LET'S JUMP IN!! I also made headcanons- If you want a fic I will definitely write one, I just kinda dumped my brain on this.

-🎀 First off let me say, these girls love you in every way imaginable but they show it in different ways. Charlie shows it by hugs and kisses between work to constantly profess her love to you and Vaggie so all of hell could listen. Vaggie shows her love in more simple acts like getting you food or dragging you away from work if she sees you working too hard. 

-👑 Both women are very very protective of you as well, now that’s not say they won’t go overboard if you get caught in the line of fire from the random villain of the day. Both have different ways of trying to get you out of trouble but will immediately come to your defense if they dare try to lay a hand on you. Charlie tries to get the situation to settle down while Vaggie locates every exit there to get you out as fast as she can if it goes south.

-🎀 Don’t get me started on if you surprise them both with a date, day off or just a simple random kiss. Both of them get extremely flustered when this happens, it’s amazing to see it happen. Don’t worry though both ladies will get you back in some fashion just keep an eye out.

Going off of the kiss idea? You gotta know when to strike to really catch one or both off guard. Charlie is by far the easiest to catch off guard, she’s just so busy and her mind is everywhere all at once it gets too much sometimes so you walking up to her and bringing her into a gentle but sweet kiss gets all the stress out. Of course she’s gonna let out a soft squeak and get all blushy but she almost always melts into the kiss immediately. This is just a headcanon of mine but she definitely stims by tapping her hooves on the ground to show how happy or excited she is. (GIVE ME MORE GOAT LIKE CHARLIE CONTENT PLEASE)

Vaggie is somewhat harder to surprise, she’s trained to immediately notice when someone is trying to sneak up on her or when something is out of place. She can’t help it and sometimes she wishes she didn’t really have to be this extra vigilant, but to really surprise her and get her flustered. Don’t be sneaky at all cause once again she will immediately and unapologetically point it out. So your best bet? Just walk up to her and kiss her cheek or on her lips. She won’t see it coming at all, she’ll get all red in the face and flustered beyond belief that her wings might just pop out.

-👑 Now if you work at the hotel with them Charlie will most likely try to help lighten your workload (please tell her your okay, baby stresses enough as is). Vaggie will help in some way or form whilst making sure Charlie isn’t overworking herself. Oh you need more paper? Don’t worry she’s running to get more. Something or someone is getting on your nerves? She’s pulling you away to do something else or she’s scaring the other person away.

-🎀 If you don’t work at the hotel and you keep coming back stressed as ever? Don’t worry your pretty little head, they will pamper you all night and the next morning? Your boss is suddenly giving you a pay raise AND the next four weeks off. 

-👑 If you are an early bird that tends to wake up at or a little after the crack of dawn? Good luck getting out of bed. Charlie is a cuddler and will not let you out so easily, Vaggie in my mind is a light sleeper so she wakes up to give you a gentle kiss before immediately falling back asleep head on Charlie’s chest. Double the points if you cook them breakfast when they wake up, you won’t escape their barrage of kisses.

-🎀 They both will allow you to steal some of their clothes and will steal your clothes in return. It’s a win-win situation. 

Charlie is canonically tall, like 6 foot something now- if you're taller than her she is wearing any hoodies or sweatpants of yours there is no discussion here. It will happen. But if you are shorter than her which is most likely she will happily let you and Vaggie steal her sweatshirts/hoodie/jackets.

Vaggie on the other hand is short like 5’5 (me too girl wtf-) or 5’7 so if you're taller than her? She’s stealing your clothes too but she’s much sneakier than Charlie. But if you're shorter or the same height as her she’ll allow you to steal her clothes as well but please don’t keep them for a week straight. She has a routine of doing all three of your guys' laundry and she doesn’t want to miss cleaning certain clothes you and Charlie steal.

-👑omg let me tell you- these girls love to pamper the shit out of you but if you return it? They will fall more in love with you. Massaging Vaggie’s back after a rough day or maybe helping her preen her wings. Washing Charlie’s hair or maybe rubbing where her horns are at as she lays between your legs and rants about whatever had her upset that day or if we are going down the path where Charlie has more goat like features (pls someone- I want to talk about this) just helping trimming her hooves. Girl needs to be extra pampered with her lovers after the shit she has to put up with day to day.

Mira, my daughter, who had never seen an hour or a moment devoid of fear, came into this world and was surprised by a war that destroyed many, many things. It destroyed her house and her room, which I was waiting for as I prepared and brought her all the beautiful clothes and colorful dresses she needed. She was surprised by the sound of missiles. She could not sleep because of it. My husband hopes to get a smile and a hug from her daughter Which he had been waiting for some time.

We lack of the basic human needs, no food no electricity no water. We were poisoned and infected because of the unhealthy water that we drink.

Currently having OT3 brainrot with Lilia -after waiting for centuries for the return of his time traveler wife having existential crisis because baby Silver awoke without explaination while Dawn still sleeping, and asking himself if he ever could be happy with his family ever again- just seeing one day in NRC the young woman coming from nowhere and being the exact copy of his wife. Same face, same smile, laugh, manners, everything. His own wife -just younger.

Now, Lilia starting to becoming a little bit possessive and protective with the newcomer. Like, weirdly always there when a problem occur to help. And strange things happen too...

Some guys were mean to you ? "Hi Youngster, just here for a little talk. What are you doing to my wife ?" Strangly, one day, the meanies sudlently started to avoid you like their life were in games.

He’s been waiting and raising Silver, of course he has family to help out, but Dawn and You are not here. He knew you came from the future, but when? When will he see you again? When will Dawn wake up?

Lilia is constantly plagued by these thoughts, until he sees you again and finally, finally, his world is moving again at a normal pace.

Lilia sat thinking.

Would you two be proud of the the family he raised? Proud of him? It's been so long since he's last felt your warmth, since he last felt the companionship and support of Dawn.

Looking at Silver, Lilia is reminded of both of you.

Then one day, you appear and he's shocked. He observes you and that feeling of familiarity hits him.

It's you, his love, his wife.

Though it seems you don't remember him, and he remembers what you had told him in the past. How you were suddenly sent to Twisted Wonderland.

No matter, he will take care of you.

If need be, he was willing to make you fall for him all over again.

It's true that most of the Lighthouse's residents have trouble sleeping. But in the midnight sun of their sanctuary's magical kitchens, it's three bodies in particular that seem to gravitate toward late night coffee as black as their souls.

Or, two Crows and a private detective.

Lucanis started flirting with Neve because it was less intimidating than the alternative.

Their personas fit. The infamous Mage-killing assassin stalking the shadows for blood and the famous Mage-detective stalking the corrupt streets for clues were well-worn sets of clothing. The hint of danger was to be expected, for them, but it was also easy. When it came to Neve Gallus, he could be the person he was supposed to be, and she let him. Mostly.

Rook turned all of his expectations upside down. Entirely too optimistic for a Crow and not nearly bloodthirsty enough, Viago de Riva's favourite protege pushed Lucanis to his limits and demanded that he become something greater than the expectations that had been placed on him. Greater than the horrors that had been forced into him.

It would have been easy to avoid Rook and let the easy words and suggestive looks with Neve carry him through the rest of his contract. It was an annoyance that his traitorous heart had to beat in tune with both of theirs.

It was terrifying that neither mage had enough self-preservation to stay away from Spite.

Sidequest ending: Partners in a Dangerous Game

"I heard from Chance that you let a traitor go."

Rook paused in sharpening their knives at the table in the corner. "Is that what he called it?"

Lucanis nodded, but his words were casual. "In those words, yes, but I could tell he was laughing. He'll likely keep a closer eye on you from now on, though."

Rook grumbled something under their breath. Lucanis would pretend that he didn't hear the word "Illario" in the string of muttered invective.

They took up the knife again and set to very intently removing a minuscule nick from the blade. Lucanis approved, overall. There was no reason to carry substandard weapons: you never knew when you were going to need to rely on the perfection of a blade's edge. With slashing motions moreso than stabbing, really.

"SICKLY SWEET," Spite complained from where he sprawled on the floor next to Rook. The demon affected a relaxed pose just to irritate Lucanis further. "MAKE THEM STOP. BAKED APPLES AND SOFT CHEESE. RIPENED TOO LONG."

Lucanis wrinkled his nose.

"I got a letter from the pair, you know." Rook said this casually, as if they were barely paying attention to Lucanis. It was a good showing. "A Venatori and a Crow fell in love, abandoned the city for each other. Maybe Venatori recruits having a chance to pick another life isn't a bad thing."

Spite sprung to his feet and shrieked, an inarticulate wail of disgust and betrayal. Lucanis felt a pang in his own chest.

"How about the Crow recruits?" asked Lucanis, pretending not to notice.

Rook hummed and didn't answer, but he supposed that Rook themselves were an answer to that question.

Spite fell silent with a sharp intake of breath. He looked Rook up and down, and then snapped his eyes back to Lucanis, declaring: "ROOK SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED. NOT ENOUGH. VENATORI BLOOD SPILLED."

Different first meeting

"I have to admit," Neve said, feet clicking on the marble floors, "So far, this place is surpassing my expectations."

Rook stepped carefully between a pair of shredded bodies, peering out into the next hallway. "It's true," they said. "Until the Ossuary, I'd never experienced such hospitality from Venatori."

"So nice when they lie down and die for you."

"When they get torn apart by their own demons," Rook agreed, eyeing a peculiar set of bloody gashes that appeared to have torn through two Venatori mages in tandem.

"Although some of these wounds are a little off for that," said Neve. "Some of these are stab wounds, with the bloody weapon left out in the open. Are the Venatori fighting each other, I wonder?"

"It wouldn't be the first time," said Rook, "But it could easily be something weirder."

By mutual agreement, Neve and Rook turned the first (bloody) office inside out in their search for clues. Neve quickly flipped through the notes on the desk. The other mage flipped through the journals on the shelf. Rook felt the air shift.

Rook moved instinctively. In one motion, they drew their mage-knife and called up power to block—

Their opponent anticipated them.

A deft pair of hands moved with Rook, using their momentum to swing them off balance. Rook's hip hit the side of a table, but they kept their feet with the enemy at their back.

The whisper of a blade touched their throat.

It felt so much like sparring with Teia that Rook froze. Their opponent closed the space, and Rook lost their chance to make a fade step backward to loosen the hold.

"It's possible I'm hallucinating," said a low, dangerous voice in their ear, as a hand slid into their hair. Rook calculated how quickly they could overload the space with electricity. Neve had turned around with her staff raised and Rook saw the same calculation in her eyes.

The hand tightened. The blade scraped the surface of Rook's neck in threat.

"…but why are a Crow and a Tevinter mage here to treat with the Venatori?"

Wait.

"Wait," said Rook, lifting their hands slowly to ward off Neve from doing something rash. "I'm here with a contract."

"Hm," said Dellamorte, "Not freelancing?"

"Catarina Dellamorte sent me," said Rook, feeling very foolish. They had taken out a despair demon one-on-one in a knife fight two days ago. If this was how they died, Viago was going to kill them. "To give you a contract."

Neve was lowering her staff, but Rook could tell it was to de-escalate, rather than because she believed there was no threat. Then again, the other Crow moved the knife scant inches away from Rook's throat, so they would take the win. Rook breathed in, dizzy with the ambient magic that was building between the three of them.

"To be honest, this was supposed to be a rescue," Neve said in her low, sardonic voice, not putting away her weapon. She kept her eyes, unblinking, on the man behind Rook.

The non-mage assassin of mages whose ambient magic was merrily crackling, barely held back from being unleashed.

Rook cleared their throat, bringing everyone's attention back to them. "So," they said, forcing the hoarseness from their voice, "Could we put the knives away for a moment before we talk about the demon?"

Since Rook hadn't been violently killed in a horrible misunderstanding yet, they twisted their neck a bit to look back at their captor and hypothetical rescuee. Brown eyes looked back at them incredulously. "And can you teach me that move?"

Spite & Rook admire Neve (Lucanis pines)

Inebriation is something that Crows typically avoid. Wine flows freely, but Crows are expected to keep their heads in all situations.

Even so, Rook was hit by a nasty bit of magic during a trip to Minrathous. Holed up in Neve's tiny apartment as the owner is out searching for a rare tincture, Lucanis is treated to painkiller-induced rambling from Rook along with an angry tirade from Spite.

At the point that Rook starts talking about the casual confidence that Neve projects when she's "classily telling evildoers to go drown in the rotting harbour", Spite stops ranting and starts paying close attention.

Rook can't hear Spite, but the two of them ramble happily (with manic interjections from the demon) about Neve's admirable implacability until she returns with the tincture.

Lucanis and Neve worry about Rook

Lucanis looked tiredly into the black depths of his coffee. Clicking footsteps approached the table.

"Something wrong with the roast?" Neve asked. "I know you're fussy about temperature, but I suspect being lukewarm doesn't help."

He took a quick breath and brought the coffee to his lips, taking a fortifying sip. It was a good thing she had come by. He might have slipped again.

"No," he said finally. "I'm just thinking about that last fight with the Aantam."

Neve sat delicately across from him. "The one where Rook ran into the middle of three axemen and told us to take out the snipers?"

Lucanis scowled. "They're careless."

"It could always be worse," said Neve, kicking back in the chair so that Lucanis could see her face more clearly behind the veil. "When I started working with them, they barely took the time to give those instructions."

"My grandmother always told me that an impatient Crow is a dead Crow."

"Now that we're well on our way to having our own little murder here at the Lighthouse," said Neve. "Maybe you can teach me to keep a better eye on our most illustrious leader."

The door swung open and two sets of eyes turned to a bedraggled Rook, carrying a sheath of loose parchment. "Lucanis, do you happen to—oh hey, Neve."

Lucanis looked back to Neve, who rolled her eyes. He sighed and drank the rest of his lukewarm coffee in one pull.

"I suppose if I make more coffee, the two of you will be wanting some?"

He’s so pissed because once again he lost to fucking Shanks. I can't believe we've reached the end of 2023. It was an up and down year for me personally. I've been struggling more with my health in these last couple of months with little answers as of now. But I'm grateful to be able to come here and interact with this fandom. I am so grateful to all the amazing people that are still here. We may be small, but this fandom has such heart. I have loved finding new people to follow and become friends with this year. I've loved hosting the book clubs and getting to know people and their MCs better through that. 2023 in the fandom is definitely one to remember.

Reccer Says: An exceptionally characterized and written piece, it's stuck with me even years after first reading it. It approaches the Keyleth/Grog relationship with such believability and tenderness, not to mention dealing with Keyleth's grief and the complex process of having feeling for someone after loss. An all around fantastic piece.

The door swung open before the soft chime of the bell had faded. ”Jamie!”

Mummy, beaming at him, and before he even knew it he was in her arms, wrapping himself tight around her and stooping to bury his face in her neck and just hold her as she clung to him in turn.

“Hi, Mummy,” he murmured, inhaling the familiar scent that was comfort and safety and home.

He could hear the bright smile in her voice. “Hi, baby. Oh, it’s so good to see you!”

And it seemed to silly, suddenly, such pointless and foolish waste, that he should have stayed away for so long, kept himself from this for so long. Just from the way she’d lit up at the sight of him it was so fucking obvious that there’d never been anything to fear, and nothing to gain but loneliness and heartache for them both.

And he had known that, deep down, hadn’t he. And yet.

Fucking stupid.

Jamie made a low, frustrated noise.

Mummy noticed, of course she noticed, and she didn’t let him go or try to pull back, but she asked, “Jamie? Is everything all right, son?”

“Yeah. No. I mean, it’s… Listen, Mummy, I need to tell you, but it’s… and I’m sorry I haven’t been around much, yeah? Haven’t called enough, I should have called more. But things— And I’m sorry, yeah? I just— ”

“Jamie, baby,” Mummy interrupted, kindly but firmly, as she kept running her hand over his hair, just like Keeley had a couple of nights ago “Whatever it is, it’s going to be all right, I promise. There’s nothing you can do or say that would make me love you any less, you know that.”

He nodded against her shoulder. “Yeah, I know.” He did know. Had never doubted it.

Somehow that had only made it harder.

“I just want you to be happy.”

And yes, he knew that too, but that was the crutch of it, wasn’t it? The truth he’d wanted to keep from her. “I haven’t been, much,” he mumbled, a whispered confession, the thing that lain between them brought out into the soft light of the hall. His unhappiness, and underneath it what had caused it and what it had led him to do.

She did pull back at that, lifting her hand to his face, running it over his cheek. “Yes, son,” she said quietly. “I know. And it broke my heart that you wouldn’t talk to me about it, but you’re your own man, Jamie. If you don’t want to tell me things you don’t have to. I’m here for you, whenever you need me to be. But yeah, it did hurt when you stopped coming around, even though I knew you were busy. You don’t need to tell me everything, my gorgerous boy, but please don’t shut me out just because you think you can’t.”

“I’m sorry,” he said again. “I didn’t… I wanted to talk to you, I did, swear down, but I just didn’t know— “ He fell silent with a small shrug.

Georgie nodded. “All right. Do you want to talk about it now?”

“Yeah, okay.”

She smiled at that, encouragingly like, and Jamie smiled back. Felt some of the tension bleed away, some of the regret ease. It had been shit, staying away and shutting her out, but they were here now; it would be all right.

“Let’s go sit down then, and we’ll have Simon bring some sweet treats. He’s been in the kitchen all day since you said you were coming.”

Oh. Jamie made a face. “Sorry, I should have called earlier, given you guys more time—“

“No, hush now, none of that. You’re here now, Jamie, and that’s all that matters, yeah?”

Sighing, he pulled her back into a tight hug. There were a lot of them to catch up on. “Yeah, okay. I love you, Mummy.”

“I know, baby. I love you, too.”

I’ve been saving this ask and then Nessy ( @masquerade-of-misery) got me thinking about cute pregnancies too and my heart is so full because I can just imagine how sweet and protective everyone would be over YN.

Lilia was humming in the kitchen, now normally that would incite dread to the various people in the vicinity, but it turns out it was a needed necessity at this time.

Unfortunately.

Your pregnancy came as a surprise to all. You were bombarded with gifts and constant wonderful companions who visited you.

To say you were never alone would be an understatement, but you didn’t mind the company.

Your pregnancy went normally and expected like the one you had before with Silver.

…until it wasn’t.

You couldn’t keep anything down and your cravings were all over the place with the strangest concoctions.

Everyone was getting worried. Meleanor had the best doctors visit you. Even Leona and Riddle had their respective home’s healers tend to you, but no one could find anything wrong.

That was until Lilia had offered his food to you, and you, desperate at this point, ate what he offered.

Only to realize that not only was it delicious, but you can keep it down.

Lilia’s smile that day could brighten the darkest night.

Everyone else though…well, let’s just say being horrified was putting it lightly.

On the bright side, at least you knew whose child it was and can prepare for their arrival.

Where the Wild Things Are by ArabellaMoxie Fandom: Ladyhawke (1985) Main Ship: Isabeau/Philippe/Navarre Rated T, 3600 words This is a really satisfying glimpse into the lives of the main trio post-canon. I love how it explores the idea that no, you can't just go back to normal after being forced to live as a wolf/hawk, and also the ot3 should never split up. Also Mouse's interior monologue is great, with his resigned longing for Isabeau and Navarre.

Hitting the High C's by beware-of-italics Fandom: Our Flag Means Death Main Ships: Ed/Stede, Stede & the crew Rated T, 29600 words A really fun story of that particular subgenre of fic where the author is writing about a particular subculture they know well or subject they're passionate about. Turning Stede into a newly-out high school theatre kid with delusional confidence in his acting and directing ability absolutely works. In this high school au, Stede somehow manages to stage a musical while falling in love with the best actor in the cast, Edward Teach. I also particularly like the bits with Mary and Lucius, as a break from Stede's whole Stede-ness.

Rocking the Cat-Eyes by buggachat Fandom: Miraculous Ladybug Main Ships: Adrien/Marinette, Adrien/self-discovery Rated T, 18000 words In which Adrien Agreste figures out that he's not so cis, a concept that I 100% believe in. Adrien's confusion and fear of coming out had my heart in my throat, it felt so real, but it's okay, the ending is so sweet.

This Precious Time When Time is New by Dee_Moyza Fandom: Blue Castle - L.M. Montgomery Main Ship: Barney/Valancy F/M, Rated T, 7000 words An exploration of Valancy and Barney in the very first days of their fake marriage. I'm not just recommending this because it was my gift for the Rare Pair Exchange, I'm also recommending it because the the descriptions of Mistawis are beautiful and perfectly Montgomery-esque and I really like the romantic tension running through the fic.

#strongpoison by dotsayers Fandom: Lord Peter Wimsey - Dorothy L. Sayers Main Ships: Peter/Harriet, Harriet/getting justice Rated T, 3400 words A modern AU in which instead of being arrested for murder, Harriet Vane is the center of a twitter storm after being accused of plagiarizing her ex. I really enjoyed the social media/found document format, especially the fake Wikipedia pages. Norman Urquhart loses his money investing in NFTs, Peter Wimsey posts medieval marginalia on twitter, and Eiluned Price is just awesome. I read this at work on my lunch break and my day was immediately 100 times better.

The Quality of Mercy by MiraMira Fandom: Twelfth Night - Shakespeare Main Ships: Olivia/Sebastian, Antonio & Sebastian, Orsino/Viola Rated T, 12700 words At Antonio's suggestion, Sebastian disguises himself as a woman and takes a job with Olivia at the same time as "Cesario" takes a job with Orsino. Shenanigans ensue. If this were printed on paper, I'd call it a page-turner, by which I mean I also read this while at work and probably anybody who walked past could see me grinning at my phone.

thirst is all i know (you will be the water) by susiecarter Fandom: Original Work Main Ship: Prince of One Country/Bastard Son of Enemy Country's Ruler Rated M, 16000 words I first read this more than a year ago, and recently I found myself randomly thinking about how much I enjoyed the worldbuilding, the political machinations that drive the plot, and the central romance. I consider that a mark of a good story. It's an arranged marriage story in which the two husbands have to overcome the culture clash between fantasy-Egypt culture and fantasy-Byzantine culture and the lasting impact of a traumatic upbringing.
